i think people will def like what you write! i dont think its a matter of content since we all share the same interests and likes pretty much, i think its more a matter of how you choose to express it and what works for you. you gotta find your groove. if you really like it, i feel like others will too. so while you might be excited for people to read it (i def get excited too) write it for yourself. which i know sounds super cliche but it i feel like if you focus too much on "will people like this" you will never write anything or write something super watered down cause you want to please everyone.

there was this cool quote on tumblr i know i reblogged somewhere but it was something to the effect of writers writing topics they think others will be interest in, but the actual expression, the journey, what you choose to focus on is what makes it YOUR artistic expression. so i would think of things like that.

as far as structure def make an outline! i always outline and i write off of the outline. also i jump around you do not have to write linearly, if you are feeling parts more than the other write them out then weave them together!

also want to take a moment to say,,,, CAN HE EVEN GET SICK????? he’s made of chalk and he’s on dragonspine constantly i mean surely he’s either constantly sick,,, or he’s built up an immunity to the cold and the exposure of dragonspine. but lets just say he was doing experiments,, accidentally dropped said experiment and the fumes in the vial was not meant to be consumed or smelled in any way and got into his system which is why you now have a sick ‘bedo in front of you trying to get past you to the front door.

you simply refuse to let him leave as you gently push him to your shared bedroom to lie down in bed, bringing the soft blankets up to his shoulders as you touch his forehead.

his face is slightly sweaty from the heat of his rising temperature and you sigh to yourself before walking out of the room, returning with a glass of water and medicine he made specially with alchemy for a boosted effect for if either of you got sick. is that how it works

he’ll be more willing to obey now as you stay near him, making sure he doesn’t try to get up to go write papers or conduct experiments. his fever getting to him as he eventually falls into slumber, you smile to yourself as you place a cool rag on his forehead.

his soft features relaxed as he slept breathing softly through his mouth due to his stuffy lil nose, you got up and went into the kitchen quietly to make him soup so he had something to eat that day.

in the middle of stirring the pot full of the warm and delicious liquid you heard the soft thumps of footsteps nearing you, turning to look at the owner of the sounds you saw a sight you rarely get to see.

albedo’s hair disheveled and messy from his tossing and turning in his sleep, his eyes drooping ever so slightly due to exhaustion. he coughs into his elbow as he nears you, but stops with his arms out in the air as he looks at you as if confused by his own actions.

”I probably shouldn’t—“ Too late, you hugged him anyways which he gladly accepted as he tried to smell what you were making.

With another small sniffle you softly walked him back to bed, explaining that you were just about to bring him the soup and you don’t fail to notice the look of adoration he gives you as you tell him while tucking his body back into the soft bed.

you turn the stovetop off, moving the pot and taking a small bowl to have some of the soup in. your feet glide across the floorboards as you enter the bedroom, moving the small rocking chair he uses for reading close to the bed as you take a seat in it next to him.

poor ‘bedo’s heart swells at your kind gesture and his brain lags when he goes to reach for the bowl with a small ‘thank you’ only for you to pull it away from him, keeping it against your lap as you take a small amount onto a spoon and hold it up near his face.

”no, ‘bedo i’m going to take care of you, so you can get better soon.” you smiled, hesitantly he accepts the spoonful of soup, the warmth engulfing his mouth and throat in a pleasant feeling as the taste lingers on his tongue while he patiently waits for each bite.

you catch yourself giggling at the sight of the chief alchemist waiting for each spoonful of soup like a small child, and your gaze softens when he’s finished the soup and whispers,

”thank you, my dear. i intend to repay your kindness after i’ve recovered.“

NONONO BECAUSE YOU CAN’T TELL ME HE WOULDN’T ACCIDENTALLY MAKE HIMSELF SICK WITH HIS COLD AND WILD WINDS THAT HE BLOWS AROUND CONSTANTLY AS HE PLAYS HIS LYRE OR EVEN WHEN HE’S BORED/MESSING WITH YOU.

you cant tell me he wouldnt. you cannot convince me this mf hasn’t made himself sick AT LEAST ONCE with his own gusting winds and strong breezes,, especially if it was already cold outside to begin with.

now the entire time he’s sick,,,,, i feel sorry for you because he’d literally act like a child. he’s just annoyed you won’t let him go out into the world with you until he’s better

he’s probably tried to fake feeling better but it failed tragically because his voice was hoarse due to his sore throat as he coughed out an excuse.

”i’m okay, really, my dandelion. i’m all better now see?”

yeah, no,,, we heard you try to not sneeze as you spoke, go back and lie down in bed.

his recovery i’d say is probably pretty fast? he’s still an archon so i feel like sickness wouldn’t affect him all that badly, despite his childish behavior during the whole process. it’s just hard to keep him in one place for him to even rest properly or take medicine that’s much needed.

”there is no need for that… disgusting vial of syrup, my dandelion. i’m perfectly fine! look at me!”

”venti… it’s just medicine and i can tell you’re trying to not cough right now.”

after forcing the poor archon to take the medicine, you return the small glass bottle back in it’s original location before going back into the bedroom. playfully rolling your eyes as he ”coughs away the disgusting taste”

you sit on the side of bed and place your hand on top of his and shake your head with a small laugh that catches the bard’s attention.

”what are you laughing at? is my weakened state bring joy to your day?” You shook your head and smiled at him, touching the messy braids hanging on both sides of his face before looking up into his bright eyes as his mouth was turned into a small pout.

”no but you acting like a child is very amusing.” you snickered receiving a fake-hurt look from venti as he huffed and crossed his arms looking in the opposite direction of you causing his braids to sway from your hand by the action.

you giggle at his behavior once more and turn to the nightstand beside you, picking up a small book about fairytales and repositioning yourself more comfortably on the bed as you slowly read the words on the pages aloud.

the bard turns and watches you in the corner of his eye before he finally gives up his act and leans closer, not caring of the fact he’s literally sick

each word you spoke quietly lulled him closer and closer to sleep, his head resting against your shoulder with his hand on your arm that held the book, as your other flips each page.

it only took about ten pages before you heard soft snores and breathing from beside you, a small smile on your features as you read the book but more quietly now.

you could only hope he got better soon, you cared about his wellbeing before anything else and you hoped he knew that even as you shoved medicine in his mouth or made him have soup and crackers when he needed to eat.

the night before he had tried a new recipe, something that on paper looked easy,, but after actually cooking it he realized just how difficult it truly was to make.

will never admit that you offered to help to keep him from getting himself sick. claims you never said such things and will fight you on it from where he lays in the bed.

now, after he had finished his……… cooking, he plated it for the both of you to try.

sitting in his seat at the table across from you as he watches you intently to see you try it.

he scoffs as he takes a big mouthful which you grimace at, and to your surprise he eats his entire plate of it and with a smug look on his face afterwards too.

you could only snicker at his current condition as you recall the events that led to this.

”babe, please stop looking at me like that and just lay with me.” he whined, his hand on his forehead as he looked over at you who sat on a stool with your arms crossed and a grin on your face.

”i warned you about that food y’know.” you grinned, receiving a groan in response from the ginger as he shifted and turned to face the opposite direction of you.

”yes you warned me…” he mumbled out. “now come comfort me!”

”comfort the harbinger that inflicted this on himself?” you questioned with raised brows, the male turned and eyed you with a huff before he curled up in a ball under the covers.

with a sigh in defeat you stand up and walk over to the bed, sitting down on the edge and smiling at how he turns immediately to watch you.

”Ajax, you do realize you’re sick right?” you ask with a small smile, the ginger stares at you with a confused expression for a moment.

when chrissy locks eyes with you for the first time, her heart beats faster than it ever has. she feels like it’s the first time she’s ever been able to see clearly her entire life. it’s not until you tap her shoulder to bring her back to reality that she realizes you’re right in front of her. you two got paired up for a class project, and now for an entire month, you had to study the human mind and how complex it works. you don’t know how grateful chrissy is that you were willing to repeat the assignment to her, because she was NOT listening to the teacher the moment you sat beside her.

I just, I didn’t know what to say considering you’re with Jason and everything, and the fact you’re just… you. Not like that’s a bad thing! It’s just, well, I don’t want to lose you. Not over something silly like this.”

Chrissy looked back up at your eyes, her hands still placed where they were previously, but she put them by her sides and stood up in front of you. You were very visibly confused until you were pushed backward from your sitting position on your bed to a now laying one, Chrissy’s arms wrapped around you as she hugged you with her face in the comfort of your neck.

“You won’t lose me. You’ll never lose me, Aws.” Chrissy smiled into your neck. You happily hugged her back in a more comfortable position, the two of you laid there for the next few minutes. You could worry about Jason and everything else later, but now- it felt too perfect to let this feeling go.

Me, who made theories on how Logan is most likely to become a dark side because people actually listen to the dark sides (and we can really see this through Virgil's arch. He was listened to most during the beginning because he was a dark side, he was seen as evil and they believed he was scary, we can also see how much Janus is listened to in general or the fact that everyone literally has difficulty not listening listening Remus), therefore how little people notice him or listen to him can lead to him recognizing that fact.

Just a bonus I feel needs to be mentioned; each dark side has a specific something that helps make sure they're heard:

-Virgil's voice can duplicate and become louder

-Janus can force others to be quiet

-and Remus can- from what I believe happened in the start of DWIT -talk either into people's minds or basically make it sound like he's whispering these thoughts into his ear (either one of those works, I'm not fully sure what happened in that scene).

Logan could envy these. He could wish he had something to make himself louder, to finally make himself heard.

An alternate theory I have is maybe Logan already had these. Maybe he was already a dark side. Maybe he hasn't shown these because he doesn't want to remember that. He doesn't want to be evil again. Maybe he might've been hated even like most dark sides, who knows! Maybe he's just repressing all of that out of bad memories and his fear of that being repeated.

I feel like we should also take a moment to remember what has already happened before. Though not as much as this time, he has in fact snapped before. Him throwing the paper at Roman is a great example, and just look at how he felt after! He apologized, said he didn't know what it was, and instantly said he should leave. It could've been out of panic because he just watched himself go back to how he was before for a few seconds!

Or maybe none of this is true and him feeling ignored and sad made him vulnerable for the real orange side to influence him.

What I'm saying is, I think about this too much and the dark sides need a tired smart boi.

So uhhh

I was zoning out and accidentally thought of an entire God damn Deltarune route.

No clue how I thought about this.

To activate this route, you have to find every hidden berry bush around the game. You could pick the berries and add them to your inventory/key items. You can't get rid of the berries.

The berries description just says "Food. Finally."

You have an option to use the berries when looking at them in your inventory, but if you try to, all it says is "You aren't hungry."

Eventually, you get the option of who to explore with. Choose your favorite to spend more time with them!

-Ralsei

-Susie

-Noelle

-Spamton (...for some reason?)

-Queen

-Berdley

If you chose anyone other than Ralsei, you occasionally chat, but there's no enemies, nothing. They start complaining about how hungry they are. They ask if you have food. You have 3 options

- "No."

- Hand over the berries.

- "We'll find better food."

"No."

If you chose this option, they'll slowly collapse due to starvation.

Hand over the berries.

If you hand over the berries, they'll eat them. Slowly, as you walk, they start to stumble more and more, before being poisoned and falling over, dead.

"We'll find better food."

This leads to them realizing you have berries. This will activate a fight.

If you choose to spare them, they'll get Kris to 1 hp, ending the fight and taking the berries, before running away. You later see them dead on the floor.

If you fight them, you kill them.

If you chose Berdley, both Noelle and Queen will ask where he is. Queen will sound slightly glad he's not nearby.

If you chose Queen, Berdly will ask where she is.

If you chose Spamton, Susie will say a "didn't someone go with you?". The only option is no.

If you chose Noelle, Susie will frantically ask where she is, worried and scared.

If you chose Susie, Ralsei will ask where she is as Noelle panics.

If you chose Ralsei, he doesn't comment on being hungry.

Kris asks if Ralsei is hungry.

Ralsei doesn't answer, all he says is

"Life is fragile, Kris."

There's a long moment of dead silence, before Ralsei talks again.

"Tell me, Kris. If I said yes, would you have poisoned me?"

The options are

- "No."

- "Why would I?"

- "Yes."

"No."

Ralsei responds with "Really?"

You get to choose again.

"Why would I?"

Ralsei responds with "Why wouldn't you? Just answer, please."

You get to choose again.

"Yes."

Ralsei responds with "Oh. Alright." And you continue walking, not bringing it up again.

Ralsei survives. Ralsei is the only person you can choose who will survive.

This route is called the Hunger Route.

-they 100% cuddled before even dating they just cuddled and went "yea were just Bros y know" and then later Realized

-ik a lot of people like the "Roman confessed first" concept but imaging Virgil stuttering and confessing and then Roman just interrupts him and kisses him its less of a headcannon more of a concept I think is important and needs to be appreciated
