Thought chapter 98
Kagami again increasing mahiru's victimization? At this point and after everything she has done, she does not deserve to be called a victim and much less a savior, kamagi could you show me the mental and physical abuse of guren from the moment he met her when he was a child and how she has done nothing but destroy his life and how in spite of it guren is still the same person who cares about others. Could you show me how Shinya has dealt with his pain, with his emotions and his life since he was ruined when he was a child, could you show me the suffering and abuse they have suffered and the pain of the other characters. could i see how the real victims have tried, struggled and trying to make a difference instead of making excuses and justifications for mahiru. Instead I would like to see and explore guren's agony thank to her and saito, shinya and the others being the true victims and how despite this they always fight for what they believe, for others, for their ideals and their beliefs and how despite the difficult how the world is, yet they never stop fighting even with pain and suffering and they are not constantly victimizing themselves as mahiru. I really want to stop seeing abuse, manipulation, use, experimentation, death, etc, as good and justified things to kill shikama when in reality all that is bad and has no justification. But to justify hiragi's family, especially mahiru is good based on always the same "love". Love, friendship and family are shown by the other characters who fight for that, but that is nothing more than "weakness" and it is not like that, that has made others grow as people, they are strong and intelligent on their own right and they do not deserve to be reduced to objects as they have been seeing since catastrophe at 16 until now. Genius is 1% talent and 99% percent hard work (and Einstein said that, not me) something that Mahiru never had or knows what it is, because her effort is to kill people, to obtain more power and be free by using everyone in her step, just to be called a savior and a good person in the end. While who really is fighting to make the difference are being reduce to be the servants of mahiru to stop the enemy when she is one too. Mahiru lost all her right to have her on life since the moment she planned to go to met guren and try to make ichinose's family get murder bcs she was an egoist girl who knew what was abuse and used it to destroy another family for simple vengeance. What rights she had and has when to her everybody's life belongs to her and can make whatever she wants to them just bcs she has the right to be the owner of her own life. This sound like she is not to blame to her own actions and decision bcs was forced for shikama to do all that so her hands are clean of all blame. More and more excuses and justifications.
I'm tired of her haughty eyes, her lying tongue, her hands that shed innocent blood, her heart that divises wicked schemes, her feet that are quick to rush into evil, being the false witness who pours out lies and be a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
She is not a good character, her character is a hole that exists that serves as an excuse, she is not a character as such is literal all the excuses and fetishes of Kagami in a character.
I'm tired to see bad as good like something to stop the big master.
I'm tired to see the victims to be reduced to have this life without show how they are being victims and abused while who made terrible things deserve to have a good ending.
I'm tired to see abuse and genocide for the greatest good like something good
I'm tired of a lot of things who involve her like excuse and justification.
And about there aren't good or bad characters in ons, if sika is the enemy here what make mahiru being an ally? The double moral and hypocrisy. What a lie. Both are bad and made a lot of damage to the world.
Both are doing all in "the name of love", the worse here is use the word "love" to justify their actions, specially in mahiru to use it as redemption in her and everything that she does and has done since she was a child until now, is being disguised with the word "love", both destroyed whoever get in their way just bcs they couldn't have what they wanted and became everybody as a tool using excuse and justification. Bsc shikama is the big enemy while mahiru is a savior. Both are equals. This false savior masquerade as “a servants of righteousness,” just as her master, Sika, masquerades as the only enemy when he is not the only one.
it's impossible for mahiru to do the right thing..
it's imposible to someone to do the right thing, unless you make a conscious effort.(Something that mahiru isn't capable to do). People do wrong in the most offhanded ways, just swept along they fall into evil (like she did and does). Without purpose, without deliberation, without any thought at all, then just like that she is on the wrong path as if there were no choice.
By contrast, no one ever read something on her like, “without realizing it I was just doing the right thing,” or how about, “next thing I knew I was doing good deeds,” or perhaps, “I helped someone by mistake. We never hear her say that, and we never will. Without intent, there's no righteousness. There can't be, because righteous action requires righteous intent. You can't do the right thing unless you've set your mind to do it. If your inability to do the right thing is causing you to suffer right now, that's likely because you're aware of the fact that you're not trying to do it. And she never tried to do something good for others.
There are many reasons why one may not try to do good; a myriad of fears which might inspire hesitation. You can blame it on another person, or on society as a whole. You can blame it on the age we live in, or the cards you were dealt. Those who are not doing the right thing, must admit to themselves: it's not that they cannot do it, but that they will not do it, (bcs to mahiru always do evil, "excuse and justify her actions for the greater good", the end justify the means using everybody just to destroy another evil). no one need to force themselves to do what is right, but don't fool yourself into thinking your failure to do so is because you're unable, but because you've made the choice not to even try. All righteous people decide to do right, and then they do. The steps must be taken in that order. Worrying about the second step while you're still on the first, is the height of calamity.
And to mahiru no one is right more than her bcs she wants to destroy someone that is the same as her. Both are the same, but one is ok to be call savior doing all kind of terrible things to people and used them as puppets, as tools, as pawn, abused them mentally and physically, while the other is the bad here bcs was the big master who wanted to save his son. And both made the same things to all the people that is suffering and paying for their terrible egoist issues. Both are masquerade as someone that is trying to protect their beloved ones, when both abused from them.
They aren't someone who value, they are someone who want to have success even if that's mean abuse and killed who they want to get it all.
"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile."
Not shikama and mahiru deserve to have justification and excuses to be honest.
One person can make a difference and those are who always tried to do it. Mahiru? Shouldn't be portrait like someone that is making a difference. Bcs she is not and she never did. No when the only person she always think that deserve all was herself. Sika and mahiru did the same things to everybody just to achieve their goals.
I wanna see the real victims and how they fighting for others not someone as mahiru being masquerade with excuses and justification like something with a good porpuse. I wanna see the real heroes here that really are trying to make the difference. They deserve a truly good ending.

OnS Theories (13S). Second Theory (Special Theory and Analysis) - Sika Madu and Shinoa, the journey and their relation with Yuichiro
Hello everyone, I hope everyone’s doing well! This is the 2nd theory and the last I post for the moment until a new chapter comes for the manga story; in the meantime I’ll be thinking more about it and perhaps update, but nevertheless, I’d like to thank everyone for their constant support!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vfcrC87v8A
NOTE: You might wonder why I gave the theory such title when I don’t involve ships. As I’ve stated so far, ships aren’t included in theories; the theory itself will focus on the reasons why these two characters ended up interacting or meeting along the fact that a third party mostly known as Shikama Doji, is involved with this.
Therefore, let’s begin!
Shinoa Hiragi and Yuichiro Hyakuya are well known to be the main lead protagonists of Vampire Reing Story; of course, that doesn’t mean everything resolves around them; every character is important within the story. But then, why do I state that Sika Madu and Shinoa have made a journey?
First of all, in older theories, I’ve stated that Shinoa is literally a part of Shikama Doji or a reflection, what do I mean?
Shinoa has a lot of mannerism Shikama has and that’s not because he influences her decisions, instead, it’s more that her personality was molded towards what Shikama or Sika Madu is like but with one sole difference, what kind of difference you might ask.
There’s a reason why Shinoa is the perfect vessel for Shikama Doji and this is because there’s compatibility, Shinoa was a being that lacked lively emotions, furthermore it was stated by Shikama that she herself is a part of him.
But, to give you a better idea why they are alike, there two pictures below speak about their way of speaking:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, you might perhaps believe the author is likely to repeat speeches but so far, those two are the only ones that have a similar way of speech whenever their dialogues appear.
Therefore, those two are two sides of the same coin.
Now, focusing more into the theory, you might wonder why I stated a journey, therefore, let’s start explaining about it.
Sika Madu’s journey and relation with Yuichiro
Sika Madu, before he revealed his true colors to Ashera Tepes, was displayed as a kind buyer, he made sure Ashera and Yu ate; but now, why do I state there was a journey and relation with Yu?
Sika Madu long ago used to use Yu as a test subject for his experiments, it can be said that the Yu from the past was made out of his real blood (The blood of the angel Michaela, the one sleeping in the coffin)  or certain composition that gave autonomy to Yuichiro which might actually explain why the Yu from Greece wasn’t very smart as for the aspect for his memories, it was due to the fact Yuichiro was killed along the fact that he was cloned when the experiments Sika Madu performed wiith persons he bought ended up in failure.
Still, what kind of journey did Sika Madu have with Yu?
Despite Sika being centered on his goals and experiments, he displayed a kind demanor, he was aware of human behavior and was quite intrigued by how Yu evolved once he was able to create young vampires; furthermore, it can be said that Sika Madu learnt more about how humans behaved, what their natural reactions were, their traits along the fact that he was aware that the vampires he sired adquired more traits than an average human.
But, within this journey, before leaving the progenitor council, he was focused on creating a new Michaela vessel, which is why the vampires that ended up being turned by him or by Yu’s blood in Ashera’s case were failures in terms to achieve becoming Michaela.
Once he found that a future vessel would give him what he required, he decided to leave the Progenitor Council and take Ashera Tepes with him for being the first vampire that wasn’t turned by him.
As for his relation with Yu, well, it can be implied that the way he saw Yu was nothing less than a test subject but was surprised by the changes Yu had within time; such surprise can be seen in chapter 74 when he calls Yu as a supposed empty vessel.
Shinoa Hiragi’s journey and relation with Yuichiro
Shinoa Hiragi was born as the youngest one in the Hiragi Family, she received the training other Hiragi received but, compared to her siblings, she was locked down from human sight except for Mahiru and Guren until the end of the world came in.
Shinoa was a person that ended up learning to grow alone, she didn’t get to experiment the warm love of a family, furthermore, when she got Shikama Doji back, she felt completed, as if the missing piece of hers came back to her.
Shikama Doji of course, told her about her desires along dreams she has deep within her heart but of course, Shinoa learnt very well how to make her heart being unreachable for demons, which is why he referred to her as the perfect vessel that could ever exist.
With the pass of time, eventually Shinoa was able to meet Yuichiro Hyakuya; it can be said that at the beginning, she saw him as another person she had to watch so said person could enter in the demon army, of course, such thing ended up in the creation of the Squad we’ve come to known within the story.
Within this, Shinoa taught Yu to be patient, to follow orders so there wouldn’t be deaths within the squad and family they ended up building with Mitsuba, Yoichi and Kimizuki; eventually, Mika and Narumi.; but, at the same time, Yu taught her the values of being a human, the meaning of treasuring those around you, the concept of a family, and furthermore, something within Shinoa grew, which is “love”.
Of course, many believe Shinoa is a lustful person because Shikama Doji in chapter 66 and 67 stated Shinoa’s lust would overcome her but, why do I imply that’s not the case?
To begin with, Shinoa within the story, started to learn what it meant to be human, furthermore, the emotions she experiments are something new for her, she doesn’t know what to think of said emotions, which is why she’s awkward whenever Yu got too close to her.
NOTE: Theories don’t involve ships.
Shinoa so far has displayed a selfless “love”. What do I mean?
She’s worried about Yu’s well being, and since he is the one that taught her the concept of a family, taught her the value of a human life along other details, she’s willing to put in practice what she’s been learning.
To certain extend, it can be said that she shows admiration towards Yu’s will and how he faces the world so he can achieve what he wishes for. Thus, it can be said that the emotion she feels so far is respect towards Yu’s will and a caring side that was eventually born within her.
Now, perhaps many might wonder where exactly is the journey between these two. The journey itself are the many adventures the squad has had, the new additions, new beginnings, losses, moments of sadness, etc. Along the fact, that both have learnt from each other to grow more
Now, once stated these two points, there’s something Shikama and Shinoa share in common, what could it be?
Correct. Both have shared time with Yuichiro, both have viewed and learnt some things from him in a different manner; but then, does this mean Shinoa will eventually use Yu?
Of course not; despite the fact that I’ve stated Shinoa and Shikama are two faces of the same coin; there’s a huge gap between them, but what kind of gap?
First of all, Shinoa Hiragi is like the human side of Shikama Doji/Sika Madu, I mean, despite her being able to use the power she harbors or her being able to use her position as a Hiragi, she chose a different lifestyle, she didn’t focus on going through a path of ambition or keeping up with human experiments, instead, she seeks to put an end to the messed up world she and the others live in.
Furthermore, despite being possessed by the first, Shinoa’s mindset hasn’t changed, her goal is still firm along her mission, which is to ensure the squad ends up alive and survives; along the fact the end up finding a way to ensure their safety and priorities.
What do you think guys? Do you believe Shinoa might end up losing herself or not? Do you believe she has the power to actually turn the tables against the first? What are your thoughts about her or her future?
Let me know!

Trans Headcanons
Ok I’m going to make a giant post about this because it’s one of the few things I can actually address, as a trans person. Obviously I cannot speak as to the opinions and experiences of all trans people, but I’m just gonna give you my take.
So obviously in fandom lots of people like to headcanon characters as trans, and in general I think that’s a fantastic thing as well we’re not exactly swimming in representation. But what comes with cis people tryin to write trans characters is that... things get... problematic. Quick.
Headcanoning male characters as ftm
I am this variety of trans so I get excited when people headcanon ftm but I’m almost always completely disappointed.
First off I need to address the “people” who headcanon male characters as trans ftm for that Spicy Fetishization. This is generally, I’d say... more than half of trans headcanons I come across in fics at least, and in this context is used solely for sexual purposes which is disgusting so stop.
Of course it’s ok to write trans people having sex, because well, trans people have sex, but cis people don’t realize that dysphoria plays a huge part into what people are comfortable with. So just a fun fact I feel like it should be obvious trans guys aren’t gonna want to have sex like they’re a straight female, and trans guys are not all bottoms.
I would also like to address when headcanoning a male presenting character as ftm is good or bad rep completely without the sexual element because cis people seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of Trans Vibes. I’m gonna use mostly ons examples so hang on tight.
Problematic, bad characters to headcanon as trans-
-Yoichi
-Mika
-Shinya
I see an egregious amout of these, and the pattern for this is somehow, cis girls see a feminine boy and think that they’re a good person to think is trans. No. This is the opposite. These three characters in ons are some of the more feminine guys, and therefore come off as gay, in a cis male way. Trans guys generally do not act like that, and although there are plenty of feminine trans guys, they do not behave like that.
Addressing the problems with people saying Mika is trans- People don’t understand dysphoria. He has always been very feminine, and in the case that he was trans that would just. Not work. You could look at that boy and be asking what gender even is he if you didn’t know, and generally trans guys aren’t for that.
With Yoichi it’s even more ridiculous. He’s one of the worst characters I could think of to view this way, as this pushes the most UwU Soft Boi fujoshi shit onto him. If y’all aren’t aware the fetishising girls really invalidate trans folks by assuming they’re all basically the stereotype of Yoichi- small, awkward, shy, complete pushovers, and just. Nah. Same really goes for Shinya, because though he’s more confident he’s very cis gay guy and making him trans pushes the same “make the more feminine person in a gay relationship trans”. Stop it.
If you had to headcanon someone as ftm in ons I’d say some of your best options would be probably
-Kimizuki.
-Yu (though there are many conditions because he’s a victim of a lot of the fujos in fanfic with this.)
I’m trying to think of more but to be honest, that’s your best bet. If you want to go with someone else, Guren might be ok, it would just be harder to explain.
Kimizuki is the best one out of all of them to be headcanoned as trans because he breaks the problematic stereotypes, and if you think about it would make much more sense than the characters ppl usually say are trans.
He is a character who’s fairly obsessed with presenting masculinity and trying to be the strong one in the group, which is a very trans guy thing to do, and it would be the easiest to explain without going through hoops like characters that have a lot of backstory would. He doesn’t look or act feminine at all, but he has more feminine skills like cooking, and he feels ashamed of those aspects of himself even though he shouldn’t. Those are the kind of things that make someone go “that would be nice rep”. Also his hair is dyed pink, like what cis person does that?
With Yu, I see many more people in fanfic try to use the trans thing for him, and out of the context of shipping I think that’s perfectly fine. He is a very relatable character for ftm gremlins like myself and it’s reasonable to say that, although there would need to be a few adjustments for taking into consideration at one point he would have presented as female, probably during his time in sanguinem. That doesn’t really present any problems if you just adjust accordingly. Guren would be cool with “hey dad i’m a guy” and I think that would be pretty epic. But when taken into the context of, well, mikayuu shipping.
To be frank, most of the trans!yuu fics that exist are straight up just for fujos to go “hey look at this gay bottom he’s trans so he’s basically a girl and watch him act like a girl during sex” stop it. Stop it please.
On trans girls
obviously, I am not a trans girl, and I know like. one trans girl. total. So I don’t have as much insight on this as trans ftm but some of this stuff is just common sense.
First I need to address the obvious, the phenomenon that is apparently such a thing in anime and manga for no good reason. The “this character who has a female voice actor, dresses and acts completely like a girl but is stated as male for some fucking reason” is just... hhhhhhhhhh. I think the only reason these exist is some weird japan fetish but I’m not fond of it. Headcanoning these characters as trans girls is in fact completely fine and I’d encourage it, unless them being male is actually somehow an integral part of the plot.
In the case of Asuramaru, I’d say absolutely go ahead. It makes even more sense with this character because Asura used to go by a different name and dressed much more masculine back in Ye Olde Greek Dayes but now has this demon glow up with a much more feminine look, a literal dress, a crown, hair down to their ass- that’s honestly the most valid thing you could say.
In the case of characters presented as female in canon, it’s much more difficult than trans guys because of how girls are presented in anime and manga. And by that I mean,,, hyper sexualized and misogynistic.
In this case I’d always say ask someone trans before jumping to conclusions. Also be wary of the “this is a masculine girl, she must be trans” because well. Again, masculine trans girls are valid but that can’t be your only reasoning PLEASE. I’ve seen trans Mito before in a fic, and tbh that’s ok, but only if you know what you’re doing with it. It can be explained pretty well with her, since she used to present as hyper feminine and pretty comphet with the guren thing, but she’s calmed down in vampire reign and I think if that has to do with her starting her transition at like 16, that’s totally fine. But that has to be handled with care, and be aware that she’s like. The most masculine girl in the series. She doesn’t wear a skirt like literally every other girl in the show, she uses physical force and her fists to fight instead of a weapon or magic, and she’s extremely headstrong. Although it would be fine if she was trans, those aspects of herself are not what would make her so, since even though it would be epic those things could cause dysphoria.
On nonbinary headcanons
These are significantly less problematic than a lot of other types, since they’re generally made by people who know what the hell they’re talking about. And there’s really no parameters for nonbinary people, so if you see someone who gives off No Gender Vibes go ahead and sprinkle in some they/them!! They don’t even have to look androgynous, though if you see a strictly single gender presenting character and want them to be enby prepare to have some explanations. Good examples of this would be
-near from death note, that gremlin wears nothing but pajamas and proceeds to grow hair down to his ass as an adult, plus the austistic coded bit... we don’t have a concept of gender tbh
-practically any demon from ons but raimeiki or gekkouin, they all just have the best vibes
-Shikama Doji, you think that bitch knows what a gender is??? Got lost in the wings pal
Just be aware of the differences needed between thinking “this person is presented as __ canonly and that is in fact their sex just not their gender” or “this person is trans fem or trans masc but isn’t strictly male or female” because those are different.
Bottom line? Ask a trans person, and don’t write a trans person just for their body.
