As the head of the company such trivial manners particularly those in relation to correspondence with the knights were handled by others who worked for Dawn Winery. In fact, the master himself was particularly absent from the festivities. Rather than partake in the socializing, jubilations, and otherwise he was perfectly fine keeping to himself at the winery.

“Hmph.” A grunt precedes the message being burned into ash with a quick twist of the man’s wrist. Fire eating away at the paper and taking the troublesome words with it. Whispers had gained in volume then, and with good reason. As if news of The Captain being sighted by Varka weren’t enough now there was more news of Fatui activity. And him in particular.

“So long as they’re not foolish enough to set foot in Mondstadt again. Tch. Perhaps I’ve grown complacent, I should...” A glance towards the north, a hill dividing his manor from where Weinlesefest had been assembled in Springvale. Diluc’s expression knots in frustration that’s not often shown to others. “If only there were a way I could truly be in more places at once. It’d make this all so much easier.”
