Well, well, well. Would you look at what the cat dragged in. (it's me, Lou!)
The time is here, and oh man, do I have a lot to say! Ever since this post was posted on my personal tumblr, on the fifth of may, I have been working like a machine on all things OUROBOROS. I had originally planned for this to just be a progress report/ announcement on what I will be working on now that I am free of the shackles of work, but, somehow, I managed to finish all bullet points, and more. So, let's get into it!
First off, the title.Ā  Ouroboros becomes all capitalized OUROBOROS. Idk. It's neat. Next!
Art. Whew. I didn't think I could draw like this anymore- drawing has been more of a struggle than writing has been, forever, always- it was something I really strived to become good at, for a time. And I gave up. Only to pick it up again when I started ouro, and ever since I released that pressure, something just clicked and I have been churning out art like never before. I don't know if this is a fluke, a stroke of luck or if all that hard work I once did slaving away with menial art practiceā€¦ but I'm grateful nonetheless. (A note on official RO art: I lost my ipad pencil somewhere on the lawn, lmao. I haven't been able to get a new one yet, so there is a slight delay here.) I am hoping that I get to make some commissions too, in the near future. Visit the forum to see some works in progress (amongst them, Yor's RO portrait!)
Onto the hellscape that is coding! I have been growing more proficient with CSS and html with the help of the ones that run so that we can walk; I have studied and researched and tested and tinkered until my eyes crossed, finding my way into this medium with the incredible guidance of the giants of whose shoulders I stand on. I will talk about this in detail on a later date. So I think it's finally time to reveal that yes, I am working on a twine version of ouro. I will develop it in tandem with choicescript; the porting over from one to the other isn't the herculean task I thought it would be.
Why am I doing this? Because I need to have a save system. I am continuing to write the whole alpha draft in choicescript in hopes that CoG will announce the ability to have a native save/checkpoint system, but if that doesnā€™t happen, I canā€™t publish this story without one. Unfortunately, I am not willing to code in a savesystem in choicescript myself, because this will be a large game, with far too many variables for that to be sustainable. Trust me, no one is more disappointed by that fact than me. If it comes to the point that twine publishing will be what I do, I will set my sights on writing a smaller game for hosted games.Ā
Now the meatier announcements!
New Socials!
Tumblr: You are looking at it!Ā  This is the new, exclusively OUROBOROS blog where I will share all announcements and sneak-peeks, and future updates. I worked together with the dev of the theme and made it oh, so pretty and functional. Please check out their portfolio here, if you are ever in the market for sprucing up your (desktop version) of tumblr. They were a pleasure to work with. Amongst other things, it has a gorgeous header (again, only if you visit on web and not mobile) where I am showcasing fanart and official art. Go check it out! This month, I am showcasing a truly breathtaking art from KAIRELART, and you can find the full art here, or follow the links in the ā€œFEATURED ARTISTā€ tab in the top bar.
I hope you enjoy this new haven for OUROBOROS! I will be answering questions once a week (saturday) and ramping up as I adapt to this new schedule, more on that further below.
My old tumblr, honeypeabrain, will revert back to being my personal blog. Feel free to keep following me there, but know that it will be inundated with shitposts, crass humor and the occasional poetry dump and personal post. Youā€™ve been warned!
Discord!
By the good graces, this was ROUGH to set up. Working with discord bots is akin to wrangling code, and it was well and truly, a war. But with the help of many, it is finally all done and ready for anyone to join and talk to me and others about OUROBOROS and anything else between heaven and earth.Ā
I will also greatly appreciate if any future bugs and feedback are submitted through here, so I can keep easier track of it. Come join us! (18+ ONLY.)
Patreon & Ko-Fi
Yep! Ko-fi is just a place to toss me a coin if you wish to help me towards the goal of new PC parts to make testing easier, or to just show appreciation for those that have it to spare. Patreon however, already has a multitude of posts and will be a hub for exclusive NSFW sidestories that you get to vote on, loredives and extensive sneak peeks, Q&Aā€™s, polls and weekly dev logs.Ā
Right now, there are only two tiers, but I expect it to grow as my story does. I have many plans, but I am going at a steady pace.Ā
Amongst tiered content, there is a (free) NSFW story with female MC and Idren to read there right now, if you want to check it out! I am mgoing to post it on tumblr and the adult thread here over the weekend.
NOTE: I stupidly didn't realize that patreon had a review process after I pressed launch, which I did just a few minutes ago. Sigh. I am going to post the short on tumblr and the adult forum thread as soon as I get to it.
It is not mandatory by any means, so if you do choose to support me, you have my eternal gratitude as these places will be the sole source of income for me.
Onto writing:
The best news out of this whole bunch is that I have worked so hard on editing and writing, that in the past month I have all but finished a two chapter update! I have a chunk of about 5-6 thousand words left to write, and I am going to buckle down over the weekend to see it through. I wanted to have it done so badly for today, but I lost three days of writing time last week due to still being weighed down with work. I hope it isnā€™t too disappointing to have to wait until monday for the demo update! I am going to post a link to an as-I-write updated demo on Patreon and Discord, if you want to see the ugly face of raw wip drafts. Otherwise I will post the demo update here on Monday with a comprehensive post!
And now!Ā  the biggest news isā€¦ from now on, I am writing full time!
This is what I have been tossing and turning about every night ever since Easter. It started as a silly idea while talking to some friends and family about how I was looking for a change in career. And then, little by little, that idea whittled down to a plan, carefully carved by my partner and his whispers of a happy future, a finished dream project, and something to be proud of until the day I wither and die.Ā
Somewhere between then and now, I grasped a tiny sliver of bravery and held on for dear life.Ā
I quit my job as a teacher, and instead of accepting a cushy office job, I started behaving as if OUROBOROS and writing was my work (for all the moments I could afford). I have researched and tried different methods from week to week, and although I was still tired from work, I felt like I was onto something that could build into a sustainable future.Ā
I have no doubts that this journey will be bumpy and long, but sometimes all it takes is to take that first step, and do it with determination. It might all crash and burn and fail in a spectacular way, or with a whimper, but then I will know that I have tried. I will know that I gave myself the chance to be who I want to be, work on what means so much to me.Ā
And thatā€™s it. I think the hardest part of formulating this post (Iā€™ve written about 50 versions of it!) is getting to the point; the kernel of what makes it so special to me. So, in my heart of hearts, what I'm trying to tell you is that I'm gonna give it my all- and while I know the road to having a sustainable career in writing is rough and ever winding, I do know for sure that I am ready for a challenge, to pour my heart and soul into it until the day I rush out of the office screaming IT IS DONE. IT IS DOOOOONE!!!Ā
If you decide to join me, I will treasure your company like a lantern in the dark. Hand in lovable hand, letā€™s fucking go.

This is my main blog now. Gonna try my best to be a minimally insufferable internet tumblr personality.
I call myself a wizard, my religion is ?????
This is a witch and magic blog. But one of the cool ones, I swear. I like frogs, and being a good person. I post kinda consistently, and I've been active a REALLY LONG TIME in tumblr years.
Doing my best not to be appropriative or exclusionary in any way, also painfully human (read as: can make mistakes and will happily correct them). I also try to spread awareness about cults, misinformation, and other relevant topics in the magic community.
I have chronic pain, and am learning to use mobility aids. Dislocated my hip trying to get outta the bathtub, and my knee WHILE SLEEPING. Physical therapy and compression wear are my friends. šŸ¤£ (getting that diagnosis figured out, I hurt a lot, All the time. I have theories šŸ¦“.)
I thought I met God once in a cemetery in December 2018, and It told me to leave an abusive marriage. I don't really know what that means because I don't understand what Higher Power is. I just hope and try to believe it's there. Due to this and my religious upbringing, I am known to trip and fall into cults, or to be singled out by cult recruiters (Hi. Yes, this has happened literally more than 7 times).
I was raised in arguably one of the biggest cults in the world - no, not scientology. So I sincerely believe the only way to find God or Upper Whatever is to figure it out yourself. I suspect everyone is probably wrong in some ways, right in others. Ergo, I'm painfully agnostic. Again, cults can sniff me out - if I'm getting weird, please check on me. I'm learning to catch myself.
I work with Change in the form of Death - or Death as Change - I'm not sure if that matters. I also work with Uni, the Cat God Of Self. Which. I made up. I made a blog about that, if you can find it. You will see that a lot here. I struggle to actually "worship" anything, probably due to religious trauma. Having a lack of Faith is hard for me.
I write spells, cultivate cool posts. I hardcore try to peer review, please don't hunt me for sport for reblogging a shitty blog. My header has all my DNIS. Just send me an ask and call me out - I'll be reasonable. I also share stories.
I like dinosaurs, vegetarian food (not exclusively), talking about glasses, writing, movies, goth culture, history, reading, art, plants, and dark humor. I write a lot in the bathtub. I live in an old house in the US. Hopefully I become locally famous too, so I can quit my job and freelance forever with my chronic pain problems. Or be a ghost tour guide as my real job.
I'm a story worm. Which is like a bookworm, but with all forms of stories, like movies and podcasts and personal anecdotes. Sometimes, I tell stories. I hope the stories have value for you. I've been enamored with the art of sharing stories my entire life.
My Cat is my pfp at the time of this posting. His name is Oswald Cheesecake. He looks like a wizard to me in that photo, in a brown cloak. But he' just in a paper bag. They are his favorite thing. There is a very good story behind his name, too.

Tips for Spn Artists posting on Tumblr šŸ˜„šŸ‘šŸ»
I see a lot of new artists posting Spn art and it can be a struggle to get your art out there. Or you might be new to Tumblr and not sure how best to put yourself forward.
I post Spn art and do a lot of bangs when my health permits. And I have picked up some tips that I have found helpful for posting art tumblr šŸ˜„ so I thought I would share.
Please feel free to take any of these points or leave them as suits you!
āœØPersonalise your header and icon. Bots will often make posts with popular tags and stolen art, to try and gain followers before throwing out the spam links, but some clues the account is a bot is not having personalised headers and icons, not having a long history of posts (more than a few days), and not talking about their art or fandom. So make sure you donā€™t look like a bot šŸ˜„
āœØInteract with accounts you enjoy. Like, comment and reblog your favourite accounts and they will likely return the favour and you will get more followers. The first way your post gets noticed is by your followers. Interacting isnā€™t always easy if one is an introvert or doesnā€™t have much time for social media, but do what you can where you can.
āœØIf donā€™t have many followers then the next best thing is to use tags more. People follow key tags to find new posts from blogs they are not aware of. I recommend using the ā€˜Spn fanartā€™ tag on all your art posts. Also be sure to include: common ship names, the character names, and key words like: cute, funny, angst, angel, wings, etc šŸ‘šŸ» šŸ˜„ this will help people find your posts, so be sure to tag consistently!
āœØMake a personal art tag, it could be ā€˜your name artā€™ or something as wacky as you like. But tag all your art with it! If someone sees your art post out in the Spn fanart tags and they like it, they can click your art tag to see the rest of your art posts.
āœØDonā€™t include links to outside webpages unless absolutely necessary. If you are posting for a bang, reblog the bang master post for the story which has the links to ao3, but then make your own art post and only link to the tumblr master post. Tumblr often hides posts with links to outside webpages (so that the porn bots sending you to spam websites get minimised, but unfortunately this also minimises links to ao3 or shops šŸ˜”). Links to another post inside of tumblr are ok tho! So to keep your art post from being hidden from searches, only link back to the master tumblr post with the story info. If people want to read the story they can follow the ao3 link from there. But itā€™s better that they actually get to see your art (the ā€˜advertā€™ for the story) in the first place so that they know it exists!
Also keep this info in mind if you are linking to your shop or your other socials. Your direct followers will see your shop posts but because of the external links the post might be hidden from searches. Consider doing a mix of posts with direct shop links and ones that get the info out there but link back to a pinned tumblr post or bio post with the outside link.
āœØDonā€™t crowd your art. Many people view tumblr on mobile so your pictures will look small. People canā€™t really see the details if you put 2 images side by side. Put one image on each line and consider making some cropped images to show close up details of your favourite bits. You need to catch people as they are quickly scrolling past, so be sure that you make it easy for them to see what you are offering.
āœØAnd finally donā€™t be afraid to do reblogs. It isnā€™t rude to reblog your own work, itā€™s helpful. Dashboards can get very busy and even if people follow you, your post might be burried a long way down if they donā€™t get back online multiple times a day. Reblogs will give them a chance to see what they missed. As long as you are not posting on the hour every hour, most people appreciate 2 or 3 reblogs at different times to save them having to scrolled back for days! šŸ˜„ and donā€™t forget that tumblr is multinational. Time zone reblogs can be helpful.
āœØoh I forgot one more thing! Donā€™t put yourself down! No piece of art is perfect! Ever! But Michelangelo doesnā€™t start off by apologising that the statue of David is out of proportion. And neither should you! Let your work shine where it shines and donā€™t bury it in put-downs before you even give others the chance to enjoy its triumphs! You deserve better and so do they!
Those are the main points my friends. If you have any other helpful tips that you want to share, feel free to reblog this and add on points. We were all new to this hellsite (affectionate) at some point. And life is already hard for us struggling artists so whatever we can do to help each other is a good thing šŸ’›
Stay awesome my friends, and happy Arting šŸ™ŒšŸ¼šŸ˜„

Tumblr Cosmetic Customization Tutorial
Tumblr media
You there! New Tumblr User with a default icon and header, no description, no custom URL, and not wanting to be mistaken for a bot--you just want to maybe figure out this weird hellsite and follow some people without being blocked, right?
Maybe you've been around for a little while, or are returning from that other hellsite, and don't know what the heck folks mean by enabling the custom URL and why are so many blogs opening on the dash instead of in a new tab?!
Let's sort this mess out below the cut with a screencap-laden tutorial, starting on mobile app (since Most new blogs start there these days, and many people use mobile more, or exclusively) and then moving to web browser for some other features that aren't available in the app (as of 1/27/23 anyway).
This is just going to be about cosmetic customization and accessing the correct blog URL and archive; Tumblr's many other settings and features for how you want to see your Dashboard and how much Privacy control you decide on are for your exploration (or another day and another tutorial, this one's long enough).
The tutorial blog itself literally took me well under 5 minutes to set up, and Tumblr guided me to customizing immediately. Taking the screenshots added a few seconds to the time; it's taken longer to write the first part of this post out. If you didn't customize the blog right away, don't fret! You can always tap the little art palette and cogwheel icons at the top of your blog to sort it out.
Now go below the link to see written instructions with image examples, including a few more with my cat:
TO BEGIN: In the mobile app, I make a new blog. For me, it's a sideblog under my main and existing sides, but otherwise this is all the same info. The following process also isn't actually all that different in web browser.
Now, you can change your URL later on if you want; a lot of folks do over time. Just be aware: changing your URL breaks any and all previous links to your blog, including any posts others have reblogged under "Read More" cuts, with the same result as if the blog was deactivated; the URL no longer exists, so Tumblr doesn't count it as "there" anymore.
Now that's out of the way, once I make a blog it immediately takes me to the Customization screen:
Tumblr media
I can--and should!--give my blog a name and a description. Doesn't have to be long or fancy, and can always be changed later with no risk to your links.
I can tap the "Background" and "Accent" buttons to change the default colors, too. Let's go for something easy on the eyes by tapping on the colored circles to find some default options, or the wheel to grab a random custom one. I'm going to go to purple and find a nice shade there.
Tumblr media
Next I will tap on the little default icon to choose an avatar photo. I can choose not to show it on my blog, and if I do, whether I want it to be square or circle.
Tumblr media
I can also tap to choose a header image if I like. I'm just grabbing some images from my phone. I did have to redo the avatar as it didn't want to stay after selecting a header pic for some reason.
Tumblr media
And then I made a quick post and pinned it, to let folks know that I am human and what the purpose of this blog is (lurking for now? A main blog for following while sideblogs get the content? In this case, a tutorial).
Tumblr media
OK, so my cat for an icon, my copy of the fanzine I worked on as a header, a quick title and description, and a short post. Even if I post nothing else to this blog (and if it were a main blog; sideblogs can't follow others, nor send asks or replies), people will be fairly certain I am not a bot, hooray! And if I want to change anything, I can tap on the icons at the top of the blog and get back to these customization screens.
I CAN STOP HERE IF I WANT TO
...BUT WHAT IF I, or buddies, try to open my blog in a browser and it opens a dash panel? What if I (or others) want to access my Archive? Unfortunately, I cannot find the correct option in the mobile app at this point, so onto a web browser we go (on my phone or my tablet, or my computer).
I am using a generic default web browser where I don't have many extensions/plugins/addons enabled (though apparently I did set dark mode). When I tap/hover over my icon, it still shows my color option and everything I selected in app setup.
Tumblr media
Here is where I am going to direct you to the side bar and the "Edit Appearance" button so I can point out some Very Important Things, even if you don't customize anything else ever.
Tumblr media
When I open my blog's appearance tab, right away it's going to tell me some interesting things I have circled and pointed at on the below screenshot:
Tumblr media
In RED I have circled my blog's URL: www.tumblr.com/lynmarstesting. This is why a blog opens in a dash panel instead of going to an actual blog. This is the new Default URL, I cannot access an Archive or other blog features like this.
The ORANGE arrow points to the feature we want, right below the "Blog name" and URL: "Custom Theme". When I swipe this feature to active, it tells me my URL is updated.
Tumblr media
When I go to my blog, the URL in my browser shows the proper https://lynmarstesting.tumblr.com link.
Tumblr media
And the blog looks...well, bare bones and empty, but a proper weblog page. And I (and anyone else) have access to my Archive! When, y'know, I have enough posts to make that a thing on this blog.
Tumblr media
Now, if I or anyone else opens the blog by clicking my username or icon, it'll open a dash panel...but also show my actual @ and my proper URL link, so they can go to the blog itself that way if they want. Everyone wins!
Tumblr media
I CAN STOP HERE IF I WANT TO;
there's no need from this point to keep messing around in a browser, we've done everything to 1) make ourselves look human and 2) make our blog properly linkable/accessible.
BUT WHAT IF...??
Once again, the little art palette icon at the top is our clicky-buddy, boxed below in orange:
Tumblr media
This opens an "Edit Theme" sidebar panel where one can customize the blog. Each theme has different options, and Tumblr's default theme is honestly really modular; change colors, fonts, have multiple columns, add some pages (I've a whole other tutorial on that), etc.
Tumblr media
There's also an "Advanced" pane, where you can mess with some other settings (the little ? icon on each line tells you what it does) and, if you're knowledgeable--or just bold--this is where you can add some Custom CSS.
Tumblr media
Say the Default Tumblr Official isn't doing it, though; at the top of the Edit Theme pane it tells you your current theme, and there's a handy "Browse Themes" link.
Tumblr media
This opens a drop down with multiple sorting options. I don't want to spend money on a premium blog theme at the moment, and the others are a mix, so let's check out the Free Themes options.
Tumblr media
There's a lot of options here! Some new ones, some are sponsored, lots of variety. Even the "Accessible" theme I mainly use is there, in its barren glory, compared to what you can see I've made of it on browser (see that previous tutorial I linked above):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again: Different Themes have Different Levels of Customization.
Some will let you change every color, the fonts, the frames, and so on. Some let you add links everywhere. Some barely let you touch anything. You can tap "Use" at the top to preview, and the "Advanced" pane will let you preview random pretend posts if you don't have many/any of your own to see how they'd look. If you don't like how something's turning out, just click back on "Free Themes" and look for another one.
Tumblr media
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND READABILITY!!
When people follow links to your blog--like a Read More cut--they will see the post on your blog's theme and in your blog's colors. Even on mobile app, especially if you override the default mobile theme, your color choices will have an impact! Aesthetic is all well and good, but frames, fonts, colors, and so on, should be legible and readable to most people, especially if you mean to share a lot of text posts.
Another thing to note: Your theme will NOT appear on mobile app. It defaults to a basic setup in the app, keeping maybe only your colors. Any custom links won't show, and cosmetic site options and access are limited in a lot of ways. The site is usable on a mobile web browser, and will have those features there. I get around the app's inability to show my theme's links by adding them all to my informative Pinned Posts on each blog, but that's me.
And there you have it! How to cosmetically customize a Tumblr, in mobile app and browser, to seem like a real person and access the correct URL and features of your blog. Whether you're new or been here awhile, hopefully this helps answer some really basic questions about how and why to do some of these things.
Have a final full-sized silly Chel pic to say goodbye.

"Well, well... I suppose you need an explanation of how all of this works?"
Tumblr media
"You should already know who I am, of course- your boss, the one guiding you in your job as the warden of MILGRAM? That's right, I'm the one and only Jackalope. You'll want to listen up, because I'm only going to explain this once..."
"This blog allows you to send questions to Mahiru Shiina, Prisoner 006. Think of it... like an extended interrogation. You can send them as yourself, or anonymously... whatever you'd like. Put your name on what you say or not, I don't care."
"As with how things work in MILGRAM regularly, what you say to her and how you say it will affect her just like your judgements do. This will help you to better understand the prisoner. After all, I want you to peer into their hearts and minds. It's best if you can truly understand them, in order to make the best judgement you can."
"Oh, and one last thing: this blog is best viewed on its desktop theme, if possible."
"I've also been told to mention that there's 'OOC info' under the cut, whatever that means."
Tumblr media
Hiii. This is, as you can probably guess, an ask blog/rp account! Just real quick under the cut, here's a few basics for conduct:
Tumblr media
I am an adult, but will not be answering any NSFW asks, and I also reserve the right to not reply to anything that makes me personally uncomfortable. This probably won't happen anyway, but I want to make my stance clear just in case. There's a lot of minors on milgramblr and running similar roleplay blogs, and I want this to be a safe and comfortable blog for everyone to interact with.
For consistency's sake, the current timeline of this blog is set in trial one. This may, and likely will, change at some point. I might jump timelines around later. But, starting out, it'll be trial one.
I try to stick close to canon in my characterization, but might indulge in a few personal headcanons here and there, especially to fill in gaps on things we don't know. If you send "magic anons" and things of that sort, I may or may not reply/go with it, depending- I'd like to stick mostly with the idea that any asks sent here are the "voices" that the prisoners mention hearing (so, not being able to physically do anything)... but I also may decide to indulge for fun. Basically, it's up to personal discretion. Just know it might not get answered.
This is probably going to be more of an ask-blog type thing than it is... a rp blog per-se, but I may dip my toes into roleplaying a bit on here as well! Other Milgram RP blogs can feel free to interact, and Mahiru will respond to any asks from RP blogs as if they were being sent by your character. I'll tag interactions with other prisoners with their number!
(I might do art for some asks as well, depending on motivation...)
Oh, and I'll edit this to put a tag index here whenever I figure out what I'm doing for those. Right now my ooc tag is simply #ooc, and any graphics I've used on the blog are reblogged under #graphics credits, as well as being credited at the bottom of this post.
Please just in general be nice and remember there's a real person running the account, and hopefully we can all have some fun with this!~ I've definitely been inspired by seeing other ask blogs/roleplay blogs pop up for MILGRAM, so I'm excited to jump in!

This is a pinned post
I thought it might be useful, for me and for you, dear reader, to have some sort of index for everything that's populated this blog over the past few years. Thus, here is a list of links to the musings and ramblings of one bi Englishman.
(I am of the generation taught to be extremely leery about sharing personal details on the internet but I fear the cat is out of the bag on at least these aspects of my positionality.)
This may be spun off into multiple posts because I think I have discovered where Tumblr's limit on 'number of links in a post' lies.
Wishing on Space Hardware
I started posting on Tumblr primarily to host the header art accompanying my Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans fanfic series Wishing on Space Hardware. So let's start with that.
Fic header posts
A Handful of Rusted Petals
The Grandmaster
To Catch a Falling Star
Fragments of You/Pieces of Me
Let Sleeping Angels Lie
Between Family
The Ares Affair
The Haunting of Takaki Uno
Frozen Sunlight
Of Obsessions and Erotemes
Revolution for Beginners and Polyamory for Dumbasses
Under a Crescent Moon
Eugene Sevenstark and the Hesperus Treasure
Hope Against Hope
Love, Death and Cannoli
Fata Morgana
We Three Kings
History of a Catastrophe
Ragnarƶk in G Minor
A Day in the Light
Ancillary material
IBO reference notes on ā€¦ original(ish) characters
IBO reference notes on ā€¦ actual, proper original characters
Section breaks master-list
The Wishing on Space Hardware playlist (story edition) v1.0
The Riden-Go II
Graffiti
Iron-Blooded Orphans
My obsession with this show is extremely deep and I have written a lot of words about it.
Fanfic and visual poetry

4, 6, 22, 31, 43 from the OC questions?
4. A character you rarely talk about?
Oh, there's a lot(I still love them). Most are from the DA fic(s) I wrote before joining tumblr, and the main one is my beloved canon Warden Rahna Tabris
Tumblr media
What was supposed to be a one-shot(maybe two-shot) about the start of her grieving process when romanced!Alistair died killing the archdemon somehow wouldn't stop growing and by the end of it I had 665k for her, spanning four longfics, several oneshots, covering Origin' epilogue scene through Witch Hunt, ft a very slow burn, friends to lovers second chance romance with Jowan. (seriously. I think it took 100k for there to be a hint of actual romance/crushing)
I love her dearly and she is still my canon Warden, but since I spent so long writing her and only her and her story seemed pretty much done at the end of her last longfic, she hasn't really talked to me since I finished. Since that was...6mon-a year after I joined tumblr she's not as "known" as the others. (Also she's the only muse I've written in first person. So that may be a factor in why I haven't written her morešŸ˜…)
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
I think Jaaide and Janine would get mistaken for sisters if they were in the same universe(both blonde, they have similar jawlines/cheekbones). Which is ironic bc Jo Wyatt is my "voice claim" for Janine, to make sure I keep her with a consistent speech pattern when I write. xD
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
Not mischaracterize, exactly, but I think I/other people focus more on the sweetheart/goofball side of Vikkari, when he is also extremely badass in a fight, especially after doubling down on his Mythic path after the Abyss(warpriest, man, he can kick your ass with magic OR the huge falchion he's lugging around or both). I think it's a byproduct of me mostly writing downtime scenes where he's joking around with Seelah or being really sweet with Arue(or Etain in that AU). If I wrote him more fight scenes, which I should do since I love writing combat :3, it would be easier to remember.
31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)
Jas would have the same theme I do, with sunny yellow background, some cute wallpaper-like art of butterflies as the header image, and a cartoonized/goofy version of her Official Queenly Portrait as her pfp/sidebar image. (green with the aurora borealis as header for mobile) She mostly reblogs inspirational/scriptural quotes, recipes for sweet breakfast and dessert food, and animal pictures. Nature and art for things she likes also make frequent appearances. She also posts a lot just rambling about her day, stuff she saw or did, her family/friends/Tristian(yes he's his own category).
43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? Itā€™s time to confess
Definitely like red hair, freckles, and green eyes, though I try to only have one or two of the three per character, not all of them(AJ and Tel have red hair + freckles but blue eyes, Jas and Tragen have red hair/green eyes but no freckles, Endrali and Trinne have freckles, Jaaide has green eyes etc etc) Also brown or grey eyes.
I like making bookworms. I love making siblings sets(*glances at the... five I have in SWtOR*), usually with a good relationship. Snark. Supportive and fiercely protective. There's a lot.

āœ§ - send me a šŸ’ and I'll rate your theme out of 10!
AAAHHH the princess of graphics herself <3 yes I would LOVE to rate your theme!!
āœ§ mobile: 7.5/10
THE CHIAKI GIF HEADER IS SO CUTE AUGHGUGHUGHH her little heart eyes!!!! instant points for this. it is so so sweet and I could stare at it all day <333 beyond that, I love your title font -- it is Very You -- and I think comboing pink/purple is a good choice!! the exact shades you picked make your text a little hard for me to read, though. idk my eyes are just weird (I do need new glasses OTL), but they feel too low-contrast. I almost wonder how it would look if the background & text colors were swapped!
lastly, while I love your icon (the little border is a wonderful touch), it doesn't quiiiite match the rest of the theme. I see that you put a PSD over it to make the image a little warmer, which definitely helps, but the blue still throws it off just a tiny bit to me. still, good vibes overall <3 cute theme with cute girls!
āœ§ desktop: 9.5/10
I am SOO in love with your desktop theme -- when I remade my tumblr, I was kind of hoping I'd be able to track it down and use it myself! I just can't get enough of the sidebar.... the little circle icons are so classy, and then when the extended menu animates open and you see the little stars... ughhhh it's sooo aesthetically pleasing. and I have to gush over the fonts too lol, the italic font w/ the tiny sans-serif is a sweet and feminine combination.
you've coordinated each element of the theme to make it floaty and dreamy: the shade of Hikari's eyes goes well w/ the background image of the clouds, which furthers the "evening sky" theme you have going w/ the sidebar stars (and your background is pixel art, which kind of fits w/ the Chiaki portrait you have!). it feels ethereal with the words "fall back / delve further" to switch between pages. I would like to get lost in your blog forever pls.
I just have a couple of nitpicks -- one is that the post data is difficult to read on the side. the light gray doesn't contrast enough w/ the purple to my eyes. the other is that your blog is very heavily left-aligned, leaving a lot of empty space on the right. this isn't necessarily a bad thing; it's just that more centered blogs are my personal taste.
altogether such a joy to look at though! I think of the song "Dream" by CircusP ft. Luka when I see your theme <3 thanks for sending this in!!!

What are your tips on running a source blog?
this is a really interesting question that i'm not even sure i can answer properly, but i will try my best! as a disclaimer, i'm most definitely not an authority on this subject, no matter how many source blogs i may run now or have run in the past, but i'll just try to describe my process creating & running a source blog. for reference for which source blogs i currently run, they are: @xmenuniverse, @batfamilycentral, @opla, @falloutprime & @ringsofpowerdaily (it's a lot, i know).
- setting the blog
now when i set the blog up, i always pick a costume theme (you may notice i used the same for several of my blogs bc it's easy & it works well with what i want). i try to personalize it as best as i can with header, icon, etc (same for the mobile theme) + create some standard pages: about, navigation, affiliates.
- launching the blog + intro post
when i'm ready to officially launch a new source blog (& after i make sure my posts will show up in the tags! i always do a little test 1st!), i post a little intro post, where i welcome ppl to the blog, explain what it is about, what tags i will be tracking if ppl want to tag me in their edits, etc. here's a reference. you can tag this post with the general fandom tags, edit tags + potential fandom related source blogs that can give you a boost. this helps introducing the blog to new ppl & gain a few followers hopefully.
- editing + creating a following
honestly this is self explanatory. the best way to gain followers is to post in the tags. for fandom blogs it's best achieved through making edits: gifsets, graphics, etc. be sure to always use the fandom edit tags + search up other source blogs related to the fandom that you may be able to tag.
- taking requests
something that i do often is ask for requests, particularly when starting a blog. it helps to engage with ppl & give you ideas if you are struggling with what to edit. this is, however, 100% optional.
- running the blog: tracked tags
now i create source blogs with one main reason in mind: to help boost the work of other fandom creators + create an archive of their work. this means that i try to reblog as many of ppl's original creations as i possible can & to do this there's always a few tags that i track & check out regularly. this is basically up to you + the free time you have. generally i track at least the blog's tag (tends to be your url or something similar) + edit & fanart tags, but you can also check general fandom tags, tho it's a lot more work. personally i play it by ear, depending on my needs.
- running the blog: setting up a queue
my goal when running a source blog is to be able to keep it updating regularly for as long as possible, so i always send posts to the queue, instead of reblogging them all right away. it also helps with not spamming your followers. something that i do do is try to prioritize edits or art in which my blog is personally tagged. this means i tend to manually go into the queue & send those post to the beginning of it if i can. this is only achievable if i'm only tagged in a few edits once in a while tho, otherwise it gets too overwhelming. for example, i simply can't do this with @ringsofpowerdaily, bc i'm tagged in far too many posts.
- running the blog: fanart
honestly this is ultimately completely optional (as is every tip in this post), but i always try to include fanart as a part of what i reblog if i can. this is not always common place with source blogs, which often tend to prioritize gifs & graphic edits, but like i mentioned, i want to help boost fandom creators to the best of my ability & fanartists are a huge backbone of fandom. tbh some of my blogs run almost exclusively on fanart (@xmenuniverse, @batfamilycentral & @opla during the hiatus) & i wouldn't be able to have them post regularly if it wasn't for it.
the problem with fanart is that it is sometimes hard to track down. ppl are not as conditioned to using a fanart tag as they are an edit tag, so the fandom fanart tags may be pretty bare & it may required you to search through the general fandom tags instead. this is up to you & completely optional & i only do it for certain blogs & depending on necessity.
- getting help
tho i currently run all my blogs alone, it's not uncommon & i've done so in the past, to have multiple members in a source blog. they may be either promoted to admin or just a regular member, but if you need help posting more original edits regularly & setting the queue up, etc, it can be helpful to have more members. you can either ask a friend you can trust or set up an application form for new members. always remember tho that once you upgrade someone to admin, you can no longer make them leave the blog if you want & they have full range to make changes on it, so only do so for ppl you feel you can trust!
- affiliates
this is not terribly important all things considered, but as part of the costume theme i use, there's always a little place for affiliates. this is nothing more than ppl you can link to on your blog & they will do so in theirs, to help promote your blogs to each other's followers. don't be afraid to apply your blog as an affiliate to other source blogs, if they have the option. the max i've got was not getting an answer, which generally means it was not accepted.
- keeping the source blog a neutral place
now this is something i personally consider incredibly important when running my source blogs: i always try to keep my personal opinions off the blog, unless it's something that i consider actually harmful. i won't post if i like or dislike something, i will do my best to reblog edits/fanart of characters, ships or media of all kind, including those i may not be a fan of. it's important to me that my blog is a welcoming place to all members of the fandom.
- tagging system
i think one of the most important things about running a source blog or any blog working as an archive is to have a functioning tagging system. this can be as simple or as detailed as you like. my tagging varies depending on the blog & the fandom. for example: @xmenuniverse & @batfamilycentral are dedictated to comics & its varied adaptations, so not only do i tag by character, post type (#gif, #graphic, #video, #still, #picspam, etc), i also tag the media type (#comic, #tv, #movie, #vg, #animated) & i try to tag each comic, movie, tv series (for example: #c: batman, #m: batman returns, etc).
for blogs like @opla, @falloutprime & @ringsofpowerdaily, since they are only dedictated to a specific tv series, my tagging system is different. i tag characters, by season (#s1, #s2, etc), by episode if possible (#1.01, #1.02), as well as post type & whether it's an edit of the show itself (#tv), the cast (#cast) or fanart (#art).
- self care
last, but most definitely not least, it is important you put yourself 1st when running a blog, ANY blog. source blogs can be a lot of work, & unfortunately sometimes ppl don't value it as much as they should. it's okay if you can't make new edits all the time, it's okay if you can't check the tags today or if you have to take a break or that request is taking too long. ppl will have to understand.
i hope this long ass post is helpful in any way & if you have any more questions, feel free to message me again! you are also free to use any of my own blogs as reference, i don't mind at all!

Yeah, I've seen how mobile seems to have an easier layout (I guess??) compared to how it is on computers. The fact it works for u and u find it easy??? Ur so smart omg, so amazing, best of the best ā™”ā™”ā™”
And ur works are lovely to look at :)) /gen
For me, if I stumble upon a post that has thinks like custom headers/titles/photos etc, that helps me recognize who the writer is even if I don't follow them. Plus, it's like a cool touch!!
Dove ur works are outstanding in every way!!
I bet they do take some time, especially if ur doing it urself, when I took a class on digital art, we had a whole unit on how to make things such as posters, websites, blogs, banners, stuff like that, pop out to people and how to make it look pleasing. We even had a TWO DAY lesson over text types, and how to make it fit in with the theme.
Bunny Yuuta is adorable too <33 Have you painted the ears on all of them so far?? That's wonderful,, it's very thoughtful!!! It truly adds a special touch to ur works, ur doing so great, dear <33
-panna cotta
gosh it's so ironic that I came back to you after my IT final </333 it's easier on the computer, because there are a lot of colors, but on the phone it's just more compact. I even write and edit on my phone, although I know it's inconvenient for many ā€” but I just prefer speed over convenience </3333
(and because it's easy to edit on the phone; hey, just enter things and they will be found immediately in the text, I don't understand those who justify themselves with the words "sorry, I wrote from the phone".)
;;;;; fbfbfbhfbf
you areā€“ you are outrageously sweet, lovely </3333 sorry but I have to arrest you for how criminally charming you are, come with meā€”
I know, right? although own style and the design is not necessary, this is the calling card of blogs ā€” in the end, they are recognized precisely because of such details. we all use the same words, but the way you use them really matters. even those works that I am disgusted with, I can't help but envy because they are beautiful (as long as there is no hentai panel on the half-screen).
I'm constantly trying to find a way I'd be comfortable staying with, but it just doesn't work for me </3 maybe I'm really destined to be unsatisfied /hj
ah, it sounds interesting and difficult at the same time </3 I have never had such a class, only those that are about programming languages and website creation. I have more experience with program codes than with aesthetics, even if the latter is what I strive for more than the first </33
hope you still had a good time on them, sweet panna cotta <333
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
<3333
I just thought I could write something else and I don't want to use someone else's edit
"And ur works are lovely to look at :)) /gen" shameless!!! shameless sweettalker!!! cunning charming foxcotta who is just waiting for the moment to make me blush </3333 dhdhhdgdd charmer!!!

For Everyone New to Tumblr
So! Your shitty social media website has become even shittier? So much so that youā€™re running to our beloved little hellsite? Welcome! Despite all the jokes, this is genuinely one of the last good social media websites out there that has a considerable userbase, and itā€™s probably for the best that its growing and people are beginning to grow used to experiences that arenā€™t dictated by advertisers and algorithms.Ā
BUT
If you want to be welcomed with open arms from said userbase, you are going to have to learn how to use and navigate Tumblr.Ā
Having been stuck here for almost 11 years, now (the fact that this is a retired Once-ler askblog should be proof enough), I feel like Iā€™ve seen a lot of posts that have touched on many different aspects of Tumblr that new users should be wary of, but none that have put the entirety of new user advice into one big post. I feel a little bit of a lacking in both content and convenience that might make taking all this advice in difficult.
So here I go, making a big long post that new users can have as reference.
I strongly recommend that new users at least start the account-making process on a laptop or desktop computer, as opposed to a mobile phone, for reasons I will get into later, but itā€™s not a requirement.
(PLEASE NOTE: Table of Contents only functions properly when you view this post on my blog, sorry for the inconvenience!)

Letā€™s get started, shall we?
Making Your Blog
So, youā€™ve just finished making an account (or youā€™ve been using Tumblr with the bare minimum as a blank blog that only likes posts since creating your account) and youā€™re met with a screen that looks something like this:
Tumblr media
(please note, I will be using the desktop site for the majority of this tutorial)
You have, presented to you, a dashboard full of popular, recommended blogs, with more recommendations offered to you either on the side, or, on mobile, during short breaks in your dashboard. Maybe youā€™re already following a few people or tags - cool! Right now, weā€™re not going to focus on the dashboard, there are a few important steps that weā€™ve neglected in making our Tumblr blog!
To get started, weā€™ll need to click on this little icon, here:
Tumblr media
(on a mobile browser, youā€™ll instead want to click on this menu icon)
Tumblr media
You will get a menu that looks like this - with general options above, and a list of your blogs, below. Right now, what we want to focus on isĀ ā€œEdit Appearanceā€ under your blog, which, for whatever reason, is actually how you access your blogā€™s settings (whereasĀ ā€œSettingsā€ just takes you to your general account settings)
Tumblr media
The page will look something like this - scrolling down will offer you a myriad of options!
Tumblr media
Editing Your Blogā€™s Mobile Appearance
What we can do, here, to get started, is edit the appearance of your blog for mobile devices - this includes mobile browsers and the Tumblr app. This includes changing your icon (which will not change across platforms), adding a header image, blog title, blog color, and description. (Note: If you want to include any HTML-specific content in your description, such as links, images, or special text formatting, please forgo working on your description until we move on to editing the appearance of your blog for desktop sites)
It is highly recommended that you do not use an independent artistā€™s (including fan-artistsā€™) work for your icon or header image without their permission AND credit. Art theft is a huge issue on social media, and while most sites donā€™t actually do much to punish you for this, I will tell you, right now, that if an artist recognizes your icon or header image as someone elseā€™s (not your) art, and notices you havenā€™t credited said artist, they are very likely going to be wary of you, and will possibly block you. To avoid going on a tangent, if this concept confuses you, please feel free to check the #art theft tag on my blog.
Ideas for what to use for your icon and header:
- A screenshot or stock image of your favorite fictional character
- A drawing you did
- A photo of your pet
- A photo you took
I personally like to use backgrounds from shows or games that I like as my header, and my own art as my icon.Ā
Next, youā€™ll want to click on theĀ ā€œBackgroundā€ option and select a color that compliments your header and/or icon (your header should probably take priority, though, since itā€™s pretty permanently attached to your background color when people go to view your blog). TheĀ ā€œAccentā€ option next to it should be a color you can see clearly against your background color.Ā
Once all the visual elements are done, youā€™ll want to type out a blog title. This can be anything from your online pseudonym, a quote you resonate with, or some shitpost-esque descriptor of yourself. Your description is equallyĀ ā€œdo whatever you wantā€. Most people give their online pseudonym or any name theyā€™re comfortable using online, their pronouns, their occupation (most artists or writers will list that theyā€™re artists or writers), their interests, etc. There are many things you can do with your description.
Hereā€™s an example of what Iā€™ve done:
Tumblr media
(The header image is from a picture book, and the icon is from a TV show)
Looks a lot more nice and personal than the blank appearance it had, before, huh?
But WHY should I edit my blogā€™s appearance? Tumblr has had an issue with bot accounts which, buy and large, do not edit their blog appearances. When you, a human being, donā€™t bother to do this either, many long-time users will assume you are also a bot (and probably block you). Plus, having a custom-looking page is part of the fun of Tumblr! If youā€™re going to be here for a while, might as well make it a place you actually like the looks of!
Now, the nittier-grittier part of blog customization - editing your blogā€™s appearance for desktop browsers!
Editing Your Blogā€™s Desktop Appearance
In order to see how your blog will look outside of the Tumblr dashboard or mobile browsers, Youā€™ll need to go toĀ ā€œ[blogURL].tumblr.comā€. By default, the desktop version will look very similar to the mobile version - but thereā€™s a lot you can do to make it better for desktop browsers, specifically. This part is a lot more optional than editing your blogā€™s mobile appearance, but if you like the idea of having your own personal little website of sorts, you should definitely give this a try!
Youā€™ll want to get started by clicking on the little paint palette icon.Ā
Tumblr media
If you do not use a laptop or desktop computer, you wonā€™t be able to access this icon, which is why I recommended earlier that you start your blog-making process on a laptop or desktop computer.
Once youā€™ve done that, youā€™ll end up with a layout like this:
Tumblr media
Look at all those options!! I suggest toying around with all of them in order to figure out what you like best - most features and options are self-explanatory. However, it might be good to go over a checklist of the things most users like to change for this version of their blog:
Theme - Selecting theĀ ā€œBrowse Themesā€ option will allow you to find a number of different layouts you can use for your blog (Free themes can be found under the dropdown menu that says ā€œAll Themesā€ and changing it to ā€œFree Themesā€). My personal favorite theme isĀ ā€œAccessibleā€ by eggdesign, as it has an option to use a font thatā€™s easier for dyslexic people to read, and is very customizable.
Background - Can be either a color or an image, but this is what will be displayed behind all your posts. Itā€™s best to use images that were either designed to be tiled, or very large images that will cover the whole screen.
Fonts - Most themes allow you to choose a font for your title, your description, your posts, pretty much any text that will appear on your blog. Itā€™s best to make a shortĀ ā€œtest postā€ so that you can properly see what your posts will look like when youā€™re selecting a font and color for them.
HTML Description - In your blogā€™s description on this page, you can use HTML coding to make text bold, italic, add a hyperlink, add a picture, pretty much anything you can do with HTML coding. In the old days of tumblr, people used to design little HTML widgets people could copypaste into their blog descriptions, like clocks, or even simple virtual pets! If these still exist, go crazy and add whatever the hell to your blog!
Tumblr media
After messing around for no longer than 7 minutes, Iā€™ve got a blog that looks much different on desktop than it does on mobile!
Tumblr media
When youā€™re satisfied, just make sure you save your changes before exiting!
Your Blogā€™s Settings
Now letā€™s go back to our blog settings - there are a few more options that have nothing to do with appearance, but will change our Tumblr experience a lot.
ā€œShare Posts You Likeā€ will create a tab on your blog that will allow anyone visiting your blog to scroll through your likes. Most tumblr users prefer to keep the posts they like private (consider the drama that people have caused on Twitter over people liking posts from accounts that a mutual might have beef with, though, most things that people choose to hide on tumblr are more for just having the option of privacy, we like privacy here!). Either way, as youā€™ll see later in the Interacting With Other Blogs portion of the post, leaving this option switched toĀ ā€œonā€ is not a viable replacement for reblogging posts.
Similarly, people prefer to keep the accounts they follow private. Again, mostly just for privacyā€™s sake.
TheĀ ā€œFeatured Tagsā€ option is something most often used by content creators. Itā€™ll just give anyone viewing your blog a list of suggested tags to search for on your blog, so many creators will list their art/writing/photography/what have you content tag through this feature.
Replies, asks, submissions, and messaging will be discussed further inĀ Interacting With Other Blogs, so until you fully understand these options, I would wait to activate or change them.
Your queue is a set-aside list of posts youā€™ve either made or reblogged that will not be posted immediately. Instead, they will be posted at a time you chose until the allotted time or post count has been fulfilled, or your queue is empty.
Your timezone will affect the timestamps on your posts and reblogs, so if you care about that, I suggest making sure itā€™s accurate to where you live.
Your blogā€™s visibility is another privacy feature. You can choose to make your blog inaccessible to anyone who doesnā€™t have a Tumblr account (this will also render the desktop appearance of your blog inaccessible to everyone), and/or you can also choose to hide your blog from search results, meaning that any time you use a tag on your post, people will not see that post when they search for a tag on Tumblrā€™sĀ ā€œSearch Tumblrā€ system.
With all that taken care of, your blog is complete! Congratulations, youā€™re finally recognized as a real person on Tumblr!
App V.S. Mobile V.S. Desktop
Before we get into using Tumblr, I do want to talk a little about what platform you might be using Tumblr on. You have a few options: the app, using your mobile deviceā€™s web browser, or using your laptop or desktop computerā€™s browser.Ā
The Tumblr app is heavily pushed by Tumblr, itself, and sees a very popular usage, but itā€™s also known as the most broken, most limited, and most censored method of using Tumblr. Its draw is convenience.
Accessing Tumblr on your mobile browser is pretty much the half-way point between using the app and opening Tumblr on your computer browser. The look is very much built for mobile use and its menu system and new post layout is closer to the Tumblr appā€™s, but it isnā€™t as censored and tends to only be affected by bugs that also affect the desktop site. Its search system, as far as I can tell, is also closer to that of the desktop siteā€™s.Ā
Unlike Instagram and Tiktok, Tumblr was designed first as a site to be accessed by desktop users, and then was later adapted to mobile devices - closer to how Twitter is. As such, using Tumblr on your computerā€™s browser is probably the best way to use it. It doesnā€™t glitch as often as it does on the app and tends to load faster, too. Additionally, making different kinds of posts is more clear-cut on desktop. Additionally-additionally, most of Tumblrā€™s annual April Foolā€™s Day hijinks are designed for desktop, and usually donā€™t get mobile support.Ā
My recommendation is obviously to use Tumblr on your computerā€™s browser, but you wonā€™t lose too much using a mobile browser. Just donā€™t let Tumblr trick you into using the app.
Making Posts
Now that weā€™ve gotten that out of the way, itā€™s time to delve into actually putting some content on your blog!
Why would you want to do this when youā€™re just here to look at other peopleā€™s content? Well, again, it kind of boils down to you coming off as a human being. Surely you have thoughts youā€™d like to throw out into the void - opinions on media you like or dislike? Thoughts on how your day went, or something youā€™re excited for? Maybe you have photos youā€™d like to share? A place you went to, an animal you saw, or an article of clothing in a store you thought looked nice?Ā
Making your own original posts arenā€™t nearly as necessary as editing your blogā€™s appearance, but itā€™s part of the Tumblr experience and helps makes your blog feel more personal. It can even help you make friends on Tumblr if thatā€™s something you want to do. The anonymity of Tumblr means that you donā€™t have to worry about your real-life friends and family reading your inner thoughts, or that you can say stupid things as a teenager and wonā€™t have your face tied to it like you would on Tiktok. Itā€™s a free-for-all, here, and things are more fun when you join in!
Types of Posts
On the desktop site, you can begin making a new post by clicking on one of various options listed at the top of your dashboard
Tumblr media
These are all different types of posts you can make.Ā
(On mobile, your only option is to selectĀ ā€œCreate a Postā€ from the menu, and then embed whatever kind of media you want into a text post)
Text posts - The vast majority of Tumblr posts, as far as Iā€™m aware, are text posts. You can add an optional title to your post, and then fill in the body with text. Additionally, you can embed other media into the body of text posts and utilize HTML coding.
Photo posts - Kinda close to the way posting on Instagram works, a photo (or series of photos) will appear at the top of the post (and if users click on the photos, they can access a larger version of them), with optional text in the body of the post. The body of photo posts essentially function like the bodies of text posts.
Quote posts - Not used very often anymore, but still have their place if you ever want to share a specific quote, the header of these posts are any given quote, while the body is the quoteā€™s source. Again, the body of quote posts function like the body of text posts, but I really donā€™t recommend you use this particular post this way unless the source is tied to a video or image (or youā€™re doing some next-level shitposting)
Link posts - Are also not used as often (most people just embed links into text posts) but tend to get used to share news articles or other situations where a postā€™s sole purpose is to share a link.
Chat posts - Used for dialogues. The vast majority ofĀ ā€œincorrect quoteā€ blogs use chat posts. This will automatically format a postā€™s body in an ideal way for sharing a script. Chat posts can not have text added to them in reblogs without adding to the original post, itself. This means that someone can reblog from you and add onto the dialogue you write, but the post wouldnā€™t mark them as the one who added it, nor would it explicitly label your post as edited, which can make some users believe that this was part of what you wrote. Tumblr etiquette usually dictates that itā€™s rude to add to a chat post.
Audio posts - For sharing MP3 files or Soundcloud links. As far as I know, the use of songs within the copyright system are a messy, gray area. Blogs have been deleted for reuploading large amounts of songs within the copyright system, before. Yet my sideblog full of early 2000ā€²s Eurobeat has survived for many many years. Just be careful, I guess.
Video posts - For sharing video files (preferably MP4s) or links from video hosting sites (YouTube, Vimeo, etc). Like photo posts, the media is at the top of the post, while you have a body that functions like a text post.
Content In Posts
For this section, I will be using a text post as an example, as most other posts have text post qualities in them.
The most youā€™ll ever usually worry about when making a post is simply typing out the words you want to appear in your post
Tumblr media
But you have a number of options for formatting and embedding available to you! Highlighting text will show you various formatting options (bold, italicize, headline, link, strike, list, and blockquote) which will change the way your text looks within your post (or, in the case of linking, functions). On mobile, you will also see options to change the color, font, or size of your text. This can be done on desktop, as well, through HTML coding (to access this, youā€™ll need to select the settings button and change the editor fromĀ ā€œRich Textā€ toĀ ā€œHTMLā€)
Tumblr media
Starting a new line of text within a post offers you some additional options before you start typing anything. This will allow you to embed a photo, video, or read more link into the body of your post.
So you could theoretically make a post like this, instead
Tumblr media
(this post is formatted very poorly, donā€™t make posts like this. Iā€™m just trying to show off your options, please put some thought into your post formatting.)
One final note - you do not have to (and should not) censor your words on Tumblr, no matter how controversial. Tumblr has a rather infamous history of censorship and random shadowbanning, but for the most part, you will not lose your blog if you type out words likeĀ ā€œkillā€ orĀ ā€œsuicideā€ or swear words. If you donā€™t want to use these words, donā€™t talk about these subjects. If you want to talk about these subjects, use the damn word. Self-censoring prevents people from effectively filtering out words they do not want to see on their dashboard, so youā€™ll be doing more harm than good if you censor yourself.
Now that youā€™ve made your post, youā€™ll probably want to tag it
The Tagging System
Tumblrā€™s tagging system is... unique. Not in itā€™s functionality, but more in how itā€™s used in the context of Tumblrā€™s culture. This will come up again, but tagging is only used as a method of sorting posts half of the time, here. The other half of the time, itā€™s used as a sort ofĀ ā€œwhisper modeā€ where you can add commentary to your own posts (or other peopleā€™s posts) without directly altering the body of the post.
Letā€™s use another example post:
Tumblr media
In this post, the textĀ ā€œWow, I had a great day, today. I got to walk my dogā€ is the body, and the only part of the post that people will see if someone chooses to reblog it. The tagsĀ ā€œ#dogsā€ andĀ ā€œ#my ramblingsā€ serve to categorize the post on my blog, and Tumblr as a whole. If someone were to searchĀ ā€œdogsā€ on Tumblr, they would eventually see this post. Similarly,Ā ā€œ#my ramblingsā€ serves to mark this post with a personal tag for my own text posts that I use to organize my blog in this hypothetical.Ā
However, the tagsĀ ā€œ#i love my dog so much sheā€™s such a little porkerā€ andĀ ā€œ#but she is a very good walkerā€ are not tags meant to categorize. They instead exist as an aside where Iā€™m adding text to the original post without actually altering the post, itself. It serves as an afterthought, a different way of talking on this site.
Similarly to how you shouldnā€™t self-censor in posts, you definitely should not self-censor in tags. Tags are the most common way that people filter content on this site. If someone is sensitive to discussions of death, for example, they will filter out the tagsĀ ā€œ#deathā€,Ā ā€œ#tw deathā€ (trigger warning death), andĀ ā€œ#cw deathā€ (content warning death), and wonā€™t see any posts tagged this way. But if you tag your post asĀ ā€œ#tw unaliveā€ orĀ ā€œ#d34thā€³ then the person trying to avoid your post will actually end up seeing it, and probably wonā€™t be to happy about that, best case scenario.
Another thing to note is that characters like commas and quotation marks donā€™t work properly in tags. Commas separate different tags, so typing one will end the tag youā€™re currently typing and start a new one. Quotation marks prioritize tags, so anything you have in quotation marks will immediately be brought to the front of the tags portion of the post (not very helpful if youā€™re typing a string of sentences).
Finally, in order to use the tagging system to find a post on your blog, or on Tumblr, in a way that doesnā€™t rely on Tumblrā€™s kinda broken search system, you would need to typeĀ ā€œtumblr.com/tagged/[tagname]ā€ for generally searching the website, or ā€œ[blogURL].tumblr.com/tagged/[tagname]%20[tagname]ā€ for searching a specific blog, into the URL bar on your browser. (AĀ ā€œ%20ā€³ in a URL represents a space in a tag, so if the tag youā€™re using is more than one word, youā€™ll have to type a %20 for every space in between words)
Finding Other Blogs
So now you know how to exist as a Tumblr user on your lonesome, but how about existing as a Tumblr user within a larger Tumblr community? Well, youā€™ll have to find some other blogs to follow.Ā
By default, Tumblr will put posts on your dashboard from popular blogs or blogs that might have aligned with some interests you listed when you signed up (ironically, this dummy account I made ended up getting posts from a blog I co-own on its dash without me following said blog), but part of the appeal of Tumblr is that you donā€™t have to be forced into an algorithmic feed of content.
In order to achieve that, though, you first have to turn the algorithmic feed options off (in theĀ ā€œDashboardā€ tab of yourĀ ā€œSettingsā€, your preferences should look like this):
Tumblr media
From there, you can start following people and properly tailoring your dashboard to your liking!
Following Blogs You Already Know
If you already happen to know some users on Tumblr, or have a favorite that had been popping up in that aforementioned algorithmic feed, your best course of action would be to actually follow said user rather than rely on that feed to continue to show you their posts (the algorithmic feed doesnā€™t show posts in chronological order, anyways, so youā€™ll more than likely miss out on some of their posts if you donā€™t follow them). This can be done in a number of ways, and Iā€™ll use the co-owned blog I mentioned earlier as an example:
From your dashboard, you can click theĀ ā€œFollowā€ button displayed next to the blogā€™s URL
Tumblr media
From Tumblrā€™s menu, you can go to theĀ ā€œFollowingā€ tab and manually type in the URL of the blog you want to follow
Tumblr media
Or, from the blogā€™s page, you can click theĀ ā€œFollowā€ button found in the top-right of the screen
Tumblr media
Finding New Blogs
But maybe you donā€™t already have a set list of people you plan on following, and are looking for new content? There are another number of ways you can find new people to follow!
As briefly mentioned at the very beginning of this post, your dashboard will not only display posts from people you follow, but also make suggestions on new blogs you can follow. The top portion are people Tumblr thinks that you, personally, will like, while the Radar consists of posts hand-picked by Tumblr, and are usually from artists.
Tumblr media
Another way you can find new blogs is by searching tags relevant to your interests and looking for content you like. If a blog consistently has posts you enjoy in a tag, odds are youā€™ll probably want to follow them!
But if youā€™re going to be a participating member of a community on Tumblr, you really should know the etiquette of how to interact with other users, rather than jump in blindly.
Interacting With Other Blogs
This is the main subject I see come up over and over again on posts trying to explain how to use this site, and for good reason. Tumblrā€™sĀ ā€œecosystemā€ relies very heavily on user engagement, and, unlike other social media sites, likes alone do not register as engagement. Content creation and online communities are a give-and-take social environment - if you want creators to keep showing you content, you should engage with it to show them that you want to see their content in the first place.
Reblogs, Comments, and Likes
When you find a post on Tumblr that was not made by you, you will find a number of buttons below the tags:
Tumblr media
The number is the amount ofĀ ā€œnotesā€ a post has, which take the form of comments (the speech bubble), reblogs (the recycle symbol), and likes (the heart). The arrow button allows you to share a post via private messaging or external websites, but this more often than not doesnā€™t affect the postā€™s engagement, so weā€™ll ignore it for now.
The most important button in this case is the reblog button. This allows you to add the post to your blog (which will put it on your followersā€™ dashboards) while the original poster retains all credit for making the post. This directly gives the original post proper exposure and leads to more people seeing it, which leads to more people reblogging it, and so on. Think of this practice like growing a tree: Every time you reblog a post, a branch keeps growing. If you only like a post and donā€™t reblog it, the branch stops growing.
Tumblr media
Youā€™re never obligated to reblog posts - but you should consider the effect it has on posts. If everyone who saw the original post only gave it likes, then the tree would essentially just be a stump.
Itā€™s also possible to reblog posts more than once, unlike retweeting.
When you reblog a post, you have the option to add something to the body of the post and/or add some tags that will only stay with your specific reblog of that post. Most people tend to use the tags to write additions to the post as a way to notĀ ā€œimposeā€ on future reblogs of said post, but itā€™s ultimately your choice. If you feel like you can or should add to the body of the post, feel free to!
Another option for commenting on a post without affecting the body of the post is, well, comments (also known as replies). This will keep your comment contained within the notes of a post without you needing to reblog it. A lot of people will both comment and reblog a piece of work in order to show the original poster that they enjoy the piece, and also support the piece, but leave their comments about the piece off their blog.
Itā€™s not uncommon, though, for people to just use the comments to get into arguments with one another without having to reblog a post over and over again, so I guess be prepared to see that.
Finally, both last and least, are likes. Itā€™s not wrong, by any means, to like a post. Itā€™s nice to know that you enjoyed a post enough to pay even a little bit of attention to it. Just know that it doesnā€™t do much for the person who made the original post. Liking on Tumblr, due to the lack of people using an algorithmic feed, and the fact that nobody cares about checking your blogā€™s ā€œlikesā€ tab, is essentially like bookmarking a post for yourself (as you can always view your likes in chronological order from the menu at any given time). Liking can even be a way to politely but quietly acknowledge a post. Say a friend of yours posts that theyā€™ve had a bad day. Many Tumblr users would leave a like to let their friend know that theyā€™ve seen their post, and theyā€™re there for them.Ā
Itā€™s always nice to get likes, they just do nothing for engagement.
Sometimes, you might see a coin button at the bottom of a post, this means the original poster set up an option for you to tip them. This is entirely up to your discretion on whether you want to do this, or not, and many people have expressed concern with giving your financial information to Tumblr, citing worries about security issues. Again, this is your choice, just know the risk. Many creators also have links to their Ko-Fi, Paypal, or Patreon, if youā€™re looking for another option in supporting someone, financially.Ā
Asks, Submissions, and Messaging
But say that you want to interact with another user without engaging with a post they made - youā€™ll have to send something to them, directly.
In your blogā€™s settings, we skipped over a few options - replies, asks, submissions and messaging. Replies, or comments, were covered above, but the rest will be covered, now.
Asks are one-time messages you can send to a blog, or others can send to your blog, so long as the recipients askbox is open (which can be toggled in settings).Ā
If the sender has a Tumblr account, is not blocked by the recipient, and does not choose to be anonymous, then the message functions similarly to a text post, where you can embed media into it.Ā
If the recipient allows anonymous messages, and the sender prefers to remain anonymous, and/or is not logged into a Tumblr account, then the message can only be comprised of text.
If the recipient does not allow anonymous messages, then only people with Tumblr accounts that they have not blocked can send asks.
Submissions function very similarly to asks, except anyone can send them, regardless of whether they have an account or not, and they take the form of posts, any posts that the average Tumblr user can make. It is recommended that, unless your blog is themed around submissions, you do not open your submission box, due to people having used it to send malicious links or shock videos.
If you get an ask or submission, you will get a notification above the envelope icon at the top of the screen (or next to theĀ ā€œInboxā€ tab in the menu) that will look something like thisĀ
Tumblr media
To answer an ask, you must simply click theĀ ā€œAnswerā€ button and type out your reply. For whatever reason, thereā€™s currently a glitch where, if you right click while answering an ask, the entire post gets deleted before you can post it, so avoid that. Once youā€™ve finished typing your reply, you can choose to answer if publicly or privately. You can only answer non-anonymous asks privately, and it will be sent back to the senderā€™s askbox with your reply.
To post a submission, you click theĀ ā€œPostā€ button, but you also have the option to edit that post by clicking on the pencil-shaped button before you post it.
Messages are a private instant messaging option on Tumblr. Only other Tumblr users can message one another, and people may limit who they allow to message them (for example, some people set their blog so only their mutuals can message them). To message someone new, you need to click on the smiley face button (or select theĀ ā€œMessagingā€ tab in the menu) and selectĀ ā€œNew Messageā€ before typing in the recipients URL.Ā
Please remember to be respectful when you interact with other users. Like, I know this site is pretty infamous for its vitriol, but, I dunno, the goal with this post is to keep the newcomers from ruining this place, yā€™know?
Blocking
Okay, so say you come across someone who hasnā€™t taken the advice above, is just a total dick to you, or maybe has some ice cold takes that you keep seeing in your favorite tags, or maybe you just plain donā€™t vibe with their content. Thatā€™s where blocking comes in.
When you block someone, they cannot message you, interact with your posts, or send you asks off-anon. You also do not see any of their posts on your dashboard or in the tags, but itā€™s sometimes possible (for whatever reason - likely a glitch) for you to interact with their posts. If your blog is private, then they can no longer see your blog at all.
There are a few ways to block someone. First, if you see one of their posts, say, while browsing a tag, you can click on the dots at the top-right of the post and selectĀ ā€œblockā€ (on mobile, this menu also appears at the end of their blog description while viewing their blog).
Tumblr media
You can also go to your blogā€™s settings and type in their URL, manually, next toĀ ā€œBlocked Tumblrsā€
Tumblr media
Finally, if they send you an ask, you can block them from the dots at the top-right of the ask (Note: blocking anons on Tumblr used to block their IP address from accessing your blog, this feature hasnā€™t worked in years and blocking anons today is essentially useless. I would recommend turning the anon option off for your askbox)
Tumblr media
OR, if they send you a private message, you can block them via the three dots at the top of the messenger window
Tumblr media
Stay safe out there!
Your Influence as a Tumblr User
So, I am aware that most of you are coming in from Twitter and Tiktok, where the concept of a social media influencer and brand presence is very normal and common (almost oppressive). You might be wondering, what kind of influence might you have if you become a prominent Tumblr user? Well,
You Have None
Tumblr is a community that is actively and vocally hostile towards the very idea of social media influencers and brands. This siteā€™s userbase has infamously been impossible to advertise to, and even if your non-creative (non art/writing/fan-edit/etc) posts start to get massive attention, it rarely leads to you gaining significant amounts of followers (quite honestly, all it does is get very angry people in your askbox who either willfully misinterpreted your post, or just flat out donā€™t agree with you). Prominent posters are rarely even known by name unless theyā€™ve earned a degree of infamy (typically by being so weird that a lot of people will avoid them or cringe when they show up on their dash). If you make a popular post, you areĀ ā€œOPā€ (original poster) and nothing more.Ā
Everyoneā€™s follower amount on this site is private and there is no way to toggle it to be public, and, quite frankly, it doesnā€™t really matter how many followers you have, to begin with. Iā€™ve seen people who admit to having over 10k followers average around 50 notes on their post. I have over 2k followers and I get lucky if a post I make gets to 20 notes, let alone 50. Posts you donā€™t want to get popular will get popular, vice versa, and you have no way of controlling anything. There is noĀ ā€œFor You Pageā€ that you can tag, the explore tab is underused by the vast majority of people here, everyone tends to stick to just their dashboard and maybe a few tags they like to check. There isnā€™t even a goodĀ ā€œtimeā€ to post on Tumblr like there is with Instagram and Twitter.
Tumblr recently released a feature where you can sponsor your post to improve its reach, however the entire process is random and you cannot target any demographic whatsoever. We are random, anonymous hermits here. You cannot beat us, you just have to join us.Ā
Tumblr Culture
To close this post off, Iā€™d like to bring up a few things that youā€™re very likely to run into in your time, here. Basically, here are things you might want to get used to during your stay on this site.
Post Circulation
As mentioned above, non-creative posts getting popular rarely have positive effects for the original poster. As such, many Tumblr users actually abhor their posts in this category getting popular. This is usually because it floods their activity feed (especially for content creators, it drowns out the attention we get on our creative posts) and sends very angry people who didnā€™t like our post for whatever reason to our inboxes. This isnā€™t to say you shouldnā€™t circulate these kinds of posts, go ahead and do it, we resigned ourselves to this by joining this hellsite, but it will probably happen to you, especially if youā€™re noticeably the new guy (and use mannerisms specific to other sites).
On a related note, Tumblr is an ecosystem where posts circulate regularly. What I mean by this is, itā€™s very common for posts from years ago to continue to circulate (be reblogged over and over again) as if it were a tradition. Every Thursday Iā€™ll likely see the Out of Touch Thursday post be reblogged again. And not, like, the video being reposted like it is on Twitter where people just make a new post, but the original post from years ago brought back to my dash through reblogs. Or fat/flat fuck Friday every Friday. This website loves its unofficial holidays, and a lot of people queue old posts to be reblogged on specific days. This is all normal, and youā€™re going to have to get used to it.
Additionally, posts that used to circulate a lot but were considered annoying or weird (the first ones that come to mind areĀ ā€œDo You Love the Color of the Sky?ā€ for being annoyingly long, or any of theĀ ā€œWerewolf Boyfriendā€ posts for being weird innuendos) tend to survive as jokes or references in new posts, so they still end up circulating one way or another.
Miscellaneous Etiquette
In line withĀ ā€œannoyingā€, the majority of long-time users on this site have repeatedly shown annoyance with this newer trend of: liking someoneā€™s tags, reblogging the post, and instead of screenshotting or copying the tags in the reblog, typingĀ ā€œprev tagsā€ orĀ ā€œprevious tagsā€ in their reblog. Not only does this out you as a Twitter user (the practice is a rehash of theĀ ā€œLRTā€ orĀ ā€œlast retweetā€ practice on Twitter because of the discouragement of making quote-retweets, which arenā€™t a problem on Tumblr), but itā€™s just not intuitive. Sure, someone could follow the reblog chain to whatever tags you found amusing, but just like making your likes public, people donā€™t want to do that, and they wonā€™t.Ā
On Tumblr, we donā€™t hold some kind of claim to tags. Itā€™s nice if you @ the person you copied the tags from, but not really necessary. Just copy or screenshot the tags and put them in the body of the reblog.Ā
Another miscellaneous thing related to interacting with posts: spam liking and reblogging things from people isnā€™t considered a worry here like it is on Instagram. You wonā€™t get flagged as a bot or anything, feel free to do that as much as you want.Ā
Reblogging your own posts are also considered fine, and most people will tag these reblogs asĀ ā€œ#self rbā€ orĀ ā€œ#self reblogā€ so that people who donā€™t like seeing them can filter them out.
Additionally, long posts are often tagged as such (#long post) so people donā€™t have to worry about spending a long time scrolling through one post if they filter the tag.
Asking popular bloggers to reblog your post is generally considered rude, but there are bloggers out there who are open to it, especially if itā€™s a post regarding an emergency financial situation you may be in. Still, please recognize that no one is obligated to circulate your posts for you, and many times, it isnā€™t personal (most people simply donā€™t want to open the floodgates of having all their followers and then some demanding they reblog from them, too).
Tumblr-specific Memes
Thereā€™s a lot of humor specific to Tumblr that doesnā€™t tend to leave this site, but youā€™re definitely going to find it here after staying long enough.
Gimmick accounts - Vary from accounts dedicated to specific niches of information (eg. suppermariobroth), a variant of the former except thereā€™s a running gag that the blog will not break character on (eg. pictures-of-dogs), bot accounts welcomed by the community (eg. the-haiku-bot), and blogs designed specifically to interact with posts to induce a punchline (eg. post-store). Though some may get annoyed by the latter, these types of blogs are generally accepted as part of Tumblrā€™s ecosystem.
A type of gimmick account thatā€™s died off in recent years is the askblog, which is where someone will run a blog roleplaying as a specific character and answer asks in-character. These are usually accompanied by art (usually made by the person running the account) and can sometimes end up telling narrative stories through their answers. Youā€™re less likely to run into them nowadays, but you might find them here or there.
Ironic roleplay reblog chains (Open RP) - are instances where someone will, as a joke, prompt people to roleplay with them in completely ridiculous scenarios (or scenarios that start off seemingly serious, but devolve into silliness). One of the more common trends as of late in this category have been wizard battles between random users where they get into disagreements and then begin casting spells at one another. Related to these is the wizard council (usually posts made by user normal-horoscopes) where spells are regularlyĀ ā€œapprovedā€ orĀ ā€œbannedā€ (this is all for fun and make-believe, and the purpose of banning spells is usually so you can catch someone making an illegal spell in an RP andĀ ā€œreport" them to the council for it in an ā€œIā€™m telling mom!ā€ sort of way).
Tumblr Scandals - Tumblr has had a pretty memeā€™d on history of scandals and drama that many outside of the site know of, but they still get referenced here a lot in a tongue-and-cheek manner (thinkĀ ā€œOh, a Tumblr convention, that sounds like such a good idea! ;)ā€ ). People arenā€™t big on tone-indicators on this site, so just assume that 90% of posts that propose something overly grand or something that sounds too stupid to be successful are being made in complete sarcasm.Ā
April Foolā€™s - Every single year, on April 1st (EST), Tumblr staff will add a gimmick to the desktop version of the site for the sake of fun. This year they gave us a button to spawn crab emojis on our screen and we all pressed it thousands of times, until we couldnā€™t press it anymore because the button was covered in crabs. Sometimes users come up with jokes to play on their own (ā€Mishapocalypseā€ refers to everyone spamming a specific picture of Misha Collins (of Supernatural fame) on their followersā€™ dashboards, many April Foolsā€™ ago). Itā€™s all in good fun, even the moreĀ ā€œmeanā€ seeming pranks (many people tried to crash the site this year just to see how staff would handle it. It was unsuccessful and staff congratulated them on their effort) have a pretty amicable tone or conclusion. If youā€™re on the desktop version of this site for only one day a year, let it be April Foolā€™s Day.
Thatā€™s all I can think of, for now! I know all this information can be pretty overwhelming, I hope that the way I formatted this post at least made things easier to digest. If you have questions, you can always send me an ask! I genuinely do think that, despite how intimidating this site can be, a lot of you are going to enjoy Tumblr as a breath of fresh air from the algorithmic, corporation-infested, ad-ridden world out there. If you keep these basics in mind, Iā€™m sure youā€™ll be welcomed here.Ā

There's nothing in life that can't be solved with chocolatešŸ«, cakešŸ°, or glitterāœØ

Schedule
I work a few different freelance jobs and so my schedule is constantly in flux. I usually stream weekday at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM in the EST/EDT timezone. I'll attach my weekly schedule for the current week below:
Tumblr media
Content I Stream/Create
I usually stream otome visual novels or joseimuke mobile games. Some of my favorites are Ensemble Stars!! Basic and Music, Bandori, Taisho x Alice, Tears of Themis, Hatoful Boyfriend, and BUSTAFELLOWS.
Sometimes I'll stream variety content such as JRPGs, scuffed karaoke (yes it is always scuffed lol), baking or decorating desserts (rare because this is messy and requires lots of planning!), crocheting, and cozy chatting content. I like to experiment with my content when I have more time in my schedule!
I'm currently working on a larger video project where I summarize the entirety of the Ensemble Stars story backlog and lore on YouTube. The series is still very much a work in progress but I do have a livestream VOD where I explained some basics about the game universe and characters which you can watch here:
youtube
I also really love music! I try to hold karaokes as much as I can and I've recently start recording covers songs! You can check out my first cover song below. It would mean a lot to me if you gave it a like as well!
youtube
Other than that I do a bit of voice acting, sometimes while I'm playing VNs I'll even try to voice over the characters. But mostly I just record short voice clips and post them to YouTube and TikTok.
Now that I have this page I hope to post some exclusive Tumblr content such as video scripts for my YouTube videos and reviews for games, animes, mangas, and novels! I'll link back to some of those posts when I do create them.
