#i like the thought of every player having like a secondary classpect

im thinking about. dreamstuck tom again. my little guy my beloved you are doomed by the narrative and thus forced to wander until you die. but perhaps the narrative will have mercy on you. but what will that cost? what has it already cost you, when you saved yourself from certain immediate death? those from a doomed timeline are marked for death but perhaps you will be an outlier. you’ve lived this far already right?? were you not a rogue of time you would be a perfect prince of doom, but your destruction of death hinges on your current class and aspect, so there is no other choice for you. and soon you will become something bigger than yourself for the good of the session to prevent the doom that would otherwise befall your friends. the narrative is cruel to you but the narrative loves you and will treat you with kindness one day, my beloved honourary prince

have you ever talked about your view on classpects before? I think you have but it's something I'd love to hear your thoughts on

I will say, that I absolutely love, LOVE classpecting and thinking about the implications behind it for characters, whether it'd be in reference to a character's personal journey or narrative function >:-]] Literally every media I watch, me and my friends end up trying to classpect all the characters for fun LMFAO.

I'm literally always thinking abt how classpect powers would manifest, or different ways to twist upon it for fun.

This DOES give me a good excuse to talk about a fun little idea I've had stirring around for a while >:^jc

I've had this fun little idea of classpects having a "wing" essentially like the wings in Enneagrams! This spawned from the idea whenever I would try to pick a classpect for characters, another Aspect would kinda fit the character not exactly quite, but Very Close.

I very much liked the idea of a secondary Aspect having a minor influence on the main Aspect. Both wrt how it interacts with it functionally, but also how it would manifest in a SBURB player's powers would be hella cool LOL.

EXAMPLE: My fantroll Jishen, I've assigned as a Seer of Doom with a wing in Mind.

I chose Mind specifically because the aspect is mainly about choices and decision making, where "remaining logical is more important to them than building up a solid foundation of 'self.'" How that interacts with his Doom aspect is that because of the trauma and hardship he's had to endure living as a burgundy on Alternia, that deeply affects his choices in life and believes them to be "rational" in order to survive.

(Even though the choices he makes are hardly what I'd consider the wisest or healthiest decision to make lol.)

It's fun to think about! I'd highly encourage others to try picking a Wing alongside their Classpects for their characters just for some fun food for thought.
