i knew this would happen. it happened with the last guy i went on a date with, and the guy before that. they just werent him. it was such a horrible feeling to sit across from someone in a restaurant searching their face for a more familiar one, one that had memories etched into his smile lines, one that had a piece of you with him. but the feeling of having him, but not being abel to have him, wasnt much better.

it was hard, finding the middle ground between my ex and my best friend. we both promised that if we ever broke up nothing would change between us. but it did. i was more cautious of him. i picked my words carefully when they left my mouth. i studied his body language whenever i was close to him. he was like a ticking time bomb. he could be set off at any minute.

lazy footsteps could be heard before i saw matt pad his way into my living room before he plopped himself down next to me. he let himself in. of course he did. he leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees before turning to look at me with a sad smile on his face.

"you okay?" his voice was hushed. like if he spoke too loud i might shatter. i just nodded with a gloomy smile on my face.

"so why do you look so sad y/n?" he knew me so well and i hated it. i couldnt differentiate wether he knew me so well because he was my bestfriend for so long, or if because he was the love of my life at one point.

"just the date. i dont think you wanna hear about it" i let out a sad laugh as i spoke. his eyebrows furrowed for a second before he replied.

"youre still my bestfriend y/n. just because youre my ex too doesn’t mean you cant tell me about the new guys" he sounded genuine. like he didnt care about the new guys. like he wasnt mad about them. but he should be. i wish he was. i wish he was repulsed at the thought of me ever being able to move on from him. but he wasnt. i kept my eyes trained to the ground. there was a heavy silence as he searched my face. i could feel his wandering eyes burning holes into me. like he could see straight into my brain.

"he called me cerebral matt" i paused, eyes still boring holes into the carpet beneath me. "i didnt even know what it meant" i raised my eyebrows and let out a huff of air through my nose. "would it have killed him to call me pretty instead?" i finally looked up at matt to see his eyes still on me. a look on his face that i couldnt decipher. i hated that he could see my walls crumbling.

"you are pretty y/n" he cooed, his voice so sickly sweet. matts hand moved onto my leg. rubbing slow circles with his thumb. i hated this. i hated that he could sit there and tell me this and not be mine. how could he promise to soften every edge and hold the world to its best when he was killing me.

"you cant say thing like this matt" i pushed his hand off my leg and just like that the walls were built back up again. his eyes dropped to his hand that was now slumped onto the sofa then back up to my face. he knew this was coming.

"why not?" he knew why. he just wanted to hear me say it. i paused momentarily. weighing up my options. deciding wether to say the real reason or to just leave it hanging in the air and say something that we both know is a lie. i didnt know where i stood with matt. he would treat me like in still his girlfriend in some ways, caring for me, being a shoulder for me to cry on and always being there to hold my hand when i needed him to, but he would drop it after a few seconds, leaving cold, heart shaped scars in his wake.

"because im still in love with you" tears were threatening to spill as i spoke. his face didnt move a fraction. he didnt even blink, just staring at me like he was deep in thought. this was old news for him and he probably could have beat me to it but atleast he was kind enough to let me say it. matt didnt even speak. he just kept staring at me as he brought a gantle hand up to the side of my face.

before i could even pull his hand off my face his lips were on mine. i didnt have the type of self control to pull away. i leaned into him, craving the closeness, luckily he got the hint and pulled me into his lap so i was straddling him and the kiss grew heavy, his tongue forcing its way into my mouth, his wandering hands grabbing and groping whatever skin he could. he moved his mouth off mine and began trailing wet kisses down my neck and jawline making my breath hitch and my eyes close.

he began sucking and biting the skin on the side of my neck making me while. my hands found home in his hair, tugging softly, earning a satisfied hum from matt before he spoke against me.

"lets just get back together mh?" i was so lost in the way his lips felt on my skin i didnt even register what he had said until a few seconds later. i immediately pulled his head away from me and stared at him with wide eyes.

"what?" surprise evident in the sound of my voice.

"i dont see what the problem is, we both still love each other and i hate seeing you go on dates with shitty guys so why not?" i couldnt even reply to him. i just stared at him with my wouth hung open. what the fuck.

"if you dont want to, ill stop, but if you do, just say the words and ill give you whatever you want." he sounded so sure.

"yes" that was all he needed before he smirked and brought his lips to mine again, kissing me, hot and heavy.

the kiss was sloppy and desperate, both of us urgent for a touch we craved so badly. he ground his hips up, pressing his hard on into my heat making me whine into his mouth. i felt him smile against my lips before he kissed down my chin and throat before licking a stripe up it, pulling a moan from me, causing my hips to stutter against his involuntarily.

god. i love these three panels. you could write a goddamn essay about these panels. im not nearly qualified enough to do it but like. fuck.

metal sonic is a machine. a weapon. a thing. the number of times it has emoted anything beyond raw murderous intent can be counted on two hands. and even then, it was usually just implications. his facial expression never changed, the only indication of any internal thought being pure body language.

and then sonic offers him a way out. "be your own person."

i dont know what this means to metal sonic. but it sure as fuck means something. his hand moves down from his head to in front of his torso, almost defensively. he leans back, like this is... new. hes never been offered this before. the hell of it is, you can see metal sonic actually consider the offer. he doesnt react immediately. sonic has enough time to fully extend his arm out between panel 1 and panel 2, an absolute eternity for two speedsters like them.

and then metal sonic lashes out. its not a simple "fuck you im evil", though. because his eyes change shape. metal sonic EMOTES. this walking death machine is offered personhood, and it clearly does something to his head. is he afraid? is he angry? is he grieving for eggman? does he think sonic is wrong, that there's no way out? does he think he already has personhood, and he doesnt need more? its not just a slap, either, its not just a dismissal. this is a full-body motion, you can see that both arms are in motion, the chain on metal sonic's arm is still in the air and hasnt been pulled down by gravity yet.

that could have been an actual attack. metal sonic is weak, sure, but he still could've tried to actually physically harm sonic. but right now, in this instant, metal sonic is feeling SO STRONGLY that the most important thing to him is to make sonic aware that this offer is, at least to metal sonic, crossing the goddamn line.

and its conveyed to you in three panels. goddamn idw sonic is good.

I am proud of my asexuality because is a part of me!! is something that affects the way i see people and for obvious reasons my relationships and trying to hide it or change will only lead me to be miserable

through my whole life i experienced things differently when it comes to attraction to people, i never seemed to develope crushes on my classmates or celebrities, cause i just.. didint care? to a point my mom got worried and straight up asked me if i was gay because my lack of interest "was not normal"

when i was in my first long term relationship my lack of sexual needs and desire was a huge issue that would lead on fights very often and my former partner to feel unloved as i would prefer just to cuddle or watch a movie. This back and foward with him and constant fights made me feel like efectibly was somethign wrong with me and transformed sex more of a chore than something im supposed to enjoy or want

thing which developed a huge sexual trauma on me but also helped me to understand that, that relationship would never work because i just could never deliver what he wanted and his needs were different than mine. we were just hurting each other

i also got sent to doctors by my mother as to find what was "wrong" with me as my lack of sexual needs was not "normal" for her

there is so much i had to deal and endure my whole adulthood because of this, because i experience thigns differently

now. more big and more mature i can confidently say, im asexual. I celebrate my asexuality because There was nothign wrong with me and the way i experience thigns is just different

i celebrate it and i mention it as an important part of myself because i know i will not be able to be in a fullfiling relationship if my partner is not aware of this fact or not willing to accept it

i celebrate it because doctors didnt found anything wrong in me and i just love differently. and asuming that lack of sexual attraction is part of an illness hurts people who might be dealing with this feelings!

I celebrate because in a hyper sexualized world i dont really seem to fit in, AND THAT IS OKAY, because the way i live my life should not affect others and they way they live theirs

i do feel romantic attraction! i can fall in love and love other person!! but i just cant deliver what most people would be expect in a relationship and that is okay!

"Bought one that's about my size." He purrs sensually, almost like he's mocking you. But it's not malicious- playful, if anything, but not mean ok any way. "So you can call it.. practice." He explains, while you stare at the nearly clear pink dildo that's staring at you, still packaged together with other things in the black plastic bag in your lap.

"Jungkook.. when did you even buy those things?" You wonder, feeling almost scared to touch any of the things inside.

"Earlier, when you were napping." He shrugs easily, hand reaching past your body to shamelessly dump the contents of the bag on the bed, bag flying somewhere on the floor. "Anything look like an absolute no-go to you?" He asks curiously, and you look without touching.

There's an egg-shaped item there you're not too sure of what it might be. The dildo explains itself, clearly- and the other massage wand is also pretty self-explanatory. There's two bottles of lube- one pink, the other blue. A.. plug, with a pretty pink gemstone on one end of it. Leather handcuffs, with soft looking fur on the inside. Overall, nothing immediately makes you uncomfortable.

You don't know what gives you the confidence for your next comment you blurt out though.

You deny with a flat tone, and it's clear from the slight change in his eyes that he's now on high alert at your every word spoken by mouth and body language, so he can figure out what happened to change your mood like that. "I don't just want to be.. a toy you get bored off and toss away at some point just to pick it back up once you're interested again." You say, drawing a clear line.

You're not sure how he might react to this. You didn't want to make a statement like that, but you can't mask the truth. You really are scared of getting hurt at the end of this- you don't want him to just play around and then let you go.

You don't want to go. You want to stay-

You want him to want you to stay.

He says your name to gain your attention, voice low and steady, horribly gentle- and it makes your eyes sting as you realize that this is the first time a man has ever spoken in such a tone to you. He notices the way your eyes begin to gloss over- and it hurts him too, the fact that you're hurting.

"This isn't just something fun to me. I think I might not have made it clear." He says, staying away from you as to not invade your little bubble you're in,eating you have your safety. "I don't know what happened to you in the past to be so full of distrust towards anything good offered to you-" He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "-but I promise you, this isn't just a game to me."

"Then what is this." You say quietly, scared. "I'm scared that we're not on the same page here and that we're walking down to entirely seperate paths." You complain pitifully with your back hunched over and head hanging low.

"That's because we are." He chuckles softly. "I'm trying to hold your hand here so we don't lose each other- but you're not holding it." Jungkook offers.

"I don't understand-" you shake your head, when as you look up again, his face is right in front of yours, eyes looking at your lips.

"Then let me help you." He hums towards you, before his lips press onto yours.

And your body freezes.

Because he's never kissed you like this before- tender, calm and without any lust in it whatsoever. In fact, your realize only now that you've never been kissed without any hidden intentions or something to gain in mind. This kiss is soft, it's no words needed, it's love confessed in physical form.

Okay so this isnt the first post ive made about shape language,

Here are the others:

ASL Shapes Strawhats Shapes

i'm just gonna copy and paste the definition i have for shape language from those posts here so i dont have to write it all again.

Shape language is defined as “a concept used in art and animation to communicate meaning based on shapes we are familiar with” (source). This concept uses circles, triangles, and squares to convey an idea of the “personality” of the design without using any words.

In designs, using circles and rounded edges in your silhouette and detailing gives the design a soft and squishy look. They tend to be harmless, approachable, or changeable.

Designs using squares gives the design a solid, sturdy, and strong look. They are supportive, reliable, and inflexible

Lastly, triangle designs are sharp and directional. They are dynamic, dangerous, and unpredictable.

That's base level but here's more in depth description of each design for ya:

this one is up first!

You may notice how in this design, his hair isnt in large clumps like the others are. His hair falls delicately and waves gently with little to no hard angles.

In this design, i was trying to convey the idea of "he wasnt born to fight, but he's molded himself into someone who will." I tried to depict that by making his hair all light and feathery, his facial features soft and rounded, but also showing how he's modified his body in a pointy and aggressive way.

I didn't want to only go hard edges with the piercings though because much like he's strayed from his mold of being delicate, he's also strayed from his mold of being a cruel noble. so some of his piercings are rings, AKA: Circles.

You may also notice the different in how I've drawn the collars of these guys. the collar of this Babo's black coat falls softly, and its' arc is rounded. The shoulders don't have any padding and it rounds at the corner.

This Man Is Round.

Next up is this Freak

This is supposed to be Triangle Him.

His hair is in larger, hard angled clumps. Indicating that he probably cut his hair himself. He did... greattt. I already headcannon him as someone who cuts his own hair, but i dont think this one ever gets any better at it.

The hard angles on his teeth, his scar, his jaw, his collar, that line i forgot to erase on the left, and his coat all give indication that this guy is Dangerous and you probably shouldnt mess with him.

I didn't have any real deeper meaning to this version, I just wanted to make him look as opposing as I could. this guy is "what you see is pretty much what you get."

Even though he doesn't have a lot of deeper meaning, I think this one is my favorite of the designs. I really love these colors on him and his hair was really fun to draw. I think I wanna draw him again at some point. I think this version of him would be very funny paired with Koala. I'm chuckling thinking about it:

And lastly this guy

Sabo's base design is very rectangle coded. From his Hat, to his face shape, to his coat. So this version was very easy to make as I didn't actually need to change that much!

I think maybe I could've made his design a little more complex? But also I think there is a beauty in simplicity for this one. He looks straightforward, reliable, and kind. He seems like the kind of guy who gets his hands dirty, not because he likes doing it, but because he does what he must for the greater good.

I really love his hazel eyes, too. I think it brings a nice warmth to his design that is really nice.

my steps are basically

voice

personality

og look of minecraft skin/branding

player movement

other ppls fanart (if any)

things that happened/cultural associations

i start with a bunch of random sketches to get the feel of the person.. that's why so many of my early posts were doodle pages. to me, character design is more based on what the person is like rather than what they look like. i think a lot of people do that

I do this with all of the above and shape language, but in bigger art pieces outside of lineups i also use color and perspective (as in youll see more of someone like spepticle in large, sweeping scenes while someone like zam in closed, heavily perspective-based ones) to indicate personality. ill change designs when suited for this too (spoke with or without a gas mask, vi with or without a mouth, etc etc)

my first iteration of lifesteal designs heavily relied on the look of the skins and were gradually tweaked over time. my most prominent example of this is my spoke design, so i'll use him at least once in the examples for continuous comparison.

i watch a couple of each person's videos first, understand their voice, personality, and what they do, then focus on them in other people's videos too to get a full story, their movement, and what others think of them (helps with personality and things we might not see). streams are the most helpful because they're less biased and you see so much more of their antics. huge stream fan.

i get into the how after this

this process doesnt go in order for some designs and others have a more prominent focus on particular parts of the process that override or effect other parts

Voice

starting off with not spoke here's a problem i encountered when designing wemmbu

I based him a lot off of spoke and ashswag due to not knowing much about him besides the fact that he schemes (spoke&ash-esque) and he doesn't move his character around too much when talking (ash behavior). he didn't match the left one because his voice doesn't have the dramatic, flamboyant fratboy flair that spoke has, so I shifted it to be more friendly yet still dangerous with curved square shapes rather than triangles. i made his scheming, diabolical nature more evident through his clothing that's pretty jester-like and sharp, but with a smoother middle that spoke doesn't have (and to match his eyes).

voice also impacts character height. i dont know how to describe this. mapicc and zam are similar heights because their voices are similar, same goes for parrot and vortex, but leo and vitalasy are close to the same height (due to vitalasy's huge fuckass ears) despite having wildly different voices, with leo's bold text voice and vitalasy's higher-pitched jumbled kinda speech they still take up the same "amount of space" in conversation. they stand out. and even though spoke's voice also stands out an incredible amount he is still only slightly taller than average. this is where personality overrides voice in my designs.

Personality

spoke is sharp in every sense of the word, but is also able to mold himself around to get what he needs.

my first attempt at him was pretty lackluster. i didn't know much of him at the time, only his wither video, and thus understood him mainly through his association with parrot. he seemed a lot more evil and more serious at first glance. like woah! fully fledged mouth and nose?! not anymore.

i cover certain expressive parts to also depict more of their personality in some abstract, holistic way. after watching streams and whatnot, spoke doesnt actually speak (excluding his random sounds and yips or whatever he does) too terribly much, except when the spotlight is on him or he's trying to get something. so, i tweaked his design to encompass that when i understood him better.

i take away his arms to allow his hands to stand out more (character movement thing, he moves around a lot when no one is paying attention to him, punches the air when ..not talking but making a point ig. he's a big fan of hovering menacingly), i give him a slinky-like outside skeletal structure to both capture his affinity for withers (i made him a wither thing because of the wither sounds in his video.. and the withers in general) and to give him the feeling of more freedom with his movement.

i also just really like gas masks so. basically, spoke is someone that hides away until he chooses to stand out. thank lord heaven he looks like some shadow creature.

later on i gave him more magenta highlights, especially in the wormhole era because 1. magenta wasnt heavily included in his rainbow look, making it stand out on his whole being, and 2. because magenta is really really cool and people should use it more.

og minecraft skin/branding

hi spokeis here. this will be quick because his branding is so heavy. lightning, rainbow, black. boom. character. withers and white eyes? easy. causes a lot of anarchy? again, lightning and withers.

planetlord on the other hand is someone i greatly differed from the og skin and branding. i saw the design in a vision idk. i shift his colors all the time in different pieces but i use more of his pfp colors now because there's too many purples in this world. his branding, personality, and voice all connect very well. a bit misleading, he's a bit of a weasel.

Movement

i never used to look into movement, but pvp styles and conversational movement of lifesteal is intriguing. unfortunately it was only something i started paying attention to during the end of s4 because vitalasy's movement was so interesting. he's a big fan of getting in people's faces.

ill be real, i didn't really notice spoke a lot during things because he was almost always never alone, and when he was it is always at a distance or you knew he had people to back him up.

spoke's movement isn't actually too abnormal. he's goal oriented and tends to always be doing something, and when he does he finds the most efficient way possible. pretty basic. his design choices are based mainly on voice and personality.

someone like mapicc on the other hand has very particular movement. he spins around people when fighting and gets right up in their face (in nethpot pvp mostly), so i made his clothing tighter to the skin with looser parts to accentuate that movement: practical clothing for close combat battles. it was also noticed (by the lord) that he tends to look straight forward instead of the slightly down that most players do.

zam fights differently, but i made him with the og branding (he's princezam) and what he does in mind. his body language in my art is more indicative of his personality.

Other people's fanart

shoutout the community, a notable amount of ideas were from the mid-late 2022 lifesteal community.

dog leowook and leather jacket mapicc were from gen, jackalope rek from aoi i think, "croptop" jacket spoke from saints-blade, snail terrain from navy-leader, tv ashswag from kish, sock puppet red definitely from someone i dont remember, 4 armed squiddo from seri, and old cartoon jaron was from bucket

Things that happened/istarted talking about cultural inspirations

spoke and his connection to godhood influenced his redesign greatly. this section affects what the character wears most of the time.

i give both spoke and vitalasy painted palms (alta) due to their connection with godhood and destruction, with spoke in particular reminding me a lot of Kali Ma, thus i gave him a skirt (due to nppp too). vitalasy's clothing is based on Indonesian cultural clothing. wemmbu's also takes inspiration from Indonesian and Bhutan cultural clothing.

indigenous cultures inspired some designs too (i do a lot of ethnographic anthropology work with some of the tribes i base the clothing off of), with woogie having Yupik and Inuit inspiration. polar bear = cold climate in my head. and leo has Haida and Yunnan (minority Chinese providence, not a tribe) inspiration.

bacon's... not bacon strip design's clothing was based on Bangladeshi clothing (im Bangladeshi, i also added alpona patterns to ash's design), nomadic cultures, and some german pilgrim thing?? idk not my best design. i specifically looked for nomadic inspiration because of his willingness to flee at any moment lol. i didnt do this for rek despite his fleeing reputation because i dont watch rek content too much and he already had hybrid traits that took care of that presentation.

poafa's design is a goat because of the medusa trials where he was used as a scapegoat. makes sense i think. his horns are from past associations with jepex that infected mapicc as well (devil trio s1). zam's design is very much from s3 empire and s4 castle.

planet's design changed slightly, mostly rounder shapes, but also the number of "spikes" on his scarf, now stuck at three because of 3ht.. and easier to draw than five. minutetech has a bow instead of a bowtie from jumper due to s5 happenings. the gem on his crown has wemmbu's highlights from his gem's main color.

roshambo's design was also heavily influenced by medusa where i gave him a snake body. in my art that depicts before medusa events he doesn't have the snake body, and same goes with before s4 spoke where i draw him with full pants. in some sketches ive depicted mapicc with a muzzle only after the destruction of s4 spawn due to quix's mapicc dog influence shoutout.

mapicc and ro have matching things that persist seasons (mapicc periwinkle collar, ro red painted ring finger... head finger?), as did subz and vitalasy with matching shoulder pads (beginning of s4 subz had a bandana and vitalasy had a bell that traded between them through artworks of mine) Vitalasy also gained sun and moon earrings. mid and 4c have matching hoods/cloaks ^_^ marriage or something.

but then i looked at some of the art on here and realized that i just lost my love for the character designs. so you know how we're gonna fix that? we're redesigning some characters bayybeeee 😈

starting with the man the myth the legend, here is UNPLEZZIE 2.0

he's probably the only one i had genuine problems with other than not being very aesthetically pleasing. he seemed too boring, his proportions were always a bit wonky, and the way he became more and more simple the more i drew him dumbed him down to just...awkward.

for this redesign, i kept all the features that made him my unpleasant. the only really signature thing i changed was his hair, sorry not sorry he had to fire his barber. i changed his scars to be far less opaque as to not clutter him up (which was the main reason i left them out most of the time), the only drawback is that i'm no longer just scribbling them in with a brush, they're actual geometry, so i cut back on the arms just for my own sake. also his tail now looks (and acts) like an actual docked tail.

next is the QSWX GVCTXMG AMXLSYX VIEPPC FIMRK GVCTXMG GLEVEGXIV SJ XLI CIEV, here is CREEPY 2.0

creepy was probably my least favorite character to draw. its head shape with the hair that always ends off screen, the 4 arms, the lack of any real way to move visible, it has always been a mess of a character. don't get me wrong, creepy is my second favorite character to write for (beaten only by neuro), i love its personality and its inflection, i just never got the chance to show that because i hated drawing it so much.

so for the redesign, i've basically reimagined it. its face hair now has an actual definitive ending, it has a more unique shape, and is just much more expunged-friendly in my opinion. it looks even more like its mom now...

next is this one, i thought she was american. here's PARANORMAL 2.0

i'm gonna be totally honest i have no idea what i was doing when designing para for the first time. that outfit was 100% subconsciously stolen from some other character i can't think of right now. it also really just didn't fit her character at all. also i dont know why i gave her boobs???? what????

anyways for the redesign she's basically a whole new design now. i wanted to play with some shape language. also, para always had a sort of inhuman quality to me, despite her personality, so i've given her inverted eyes and some animalistic features. i guess it adds irony or something, i dunno.

and finally, the moment GERIATRIC CAT you've all been waiting for, UNNERVING 2.0

in truth nervy's design is my favorite. the only gripe i had is the lack of legs, like with creepy. also i had to give her one of the same pride flag ass gradient as the rest so she'd fit in with the rest. other than all that i love her she is perfect just the way she is with minor adjustments

that's all the redesigns done!! i only did these 4 because stabby is not mine to redesign and NEURO is perfect just the way it is. feel free to give me any constructive criticism for these redesigns, i can always tweak em a bit. also the more stripy gradients wont a pattern that follows the contours of the body but rather just unmoving plaid always. i hope this lengthy yap sesh contributed something to something, maybe gave some insight into my characters.

okay it’s been discussed a million times but I would like to talk AGAIN about the blocking/body language in the 0401 best man scene [wwdits] [long post]

okay first up, we open on nandor drying guillermo’s hair:

this comes directly after nandor jumping into the water after him to save his life with no hesitation. and then THIS. a complete 180 in their dynamic. right out of the gate all of the erosion of boundaries that was paced so gently in season 3 are completely shattered. but look at the body language!! nandor is still very physically distant. he dries guillermo’s hair with the tips of his fingers and then dumps the towel over his head.

next, we get a bouncy, tentative “how are we feeling?” from nandor

this is so funny to me because he’s standing there doing his little nervous hands, hovering close but still maintaining distance.

I’m gonna skip over the little water bit because it covers a lot of the same bases. devotion through acts of service, role reversal, blah blah blah. but I do want to point out that all of nandor’s devotional gestures are functionally useless (hair still wait, water full of god knows what etc.) but they serve literally only to reassure guillermo that they are an on equal(ish) footing.

okay after that we get the “will you be my best man at my wedding” ft this beautiful baby boy facial expression:

they are standing... so close. guillermo puts himself in nandor’s personal space by standing up on “you’re getting married!!” but then nandor comes into his personal space with a saucy little “dont be jealous”. I couldn’t quite capture nandor’s mirco-expression after guillermo says “I’m not” but it is RIDICULOUS. a split second of bitchy sulky baby that he very quickly covers up.

anyway. HUG DODGE

sure, nandor refusing guillermo’s physical affection is a gag throughout the series. but usually nandor calls it out verbally. this, he just avoids, and then...

straight across the room to give the camera this look. I know it doesn’t look like much here but it is a distinct, sheepish(?) glance to the camera, and then he looks away. he deliberately has his back to guillermo to hide a series of small flickers in his facial expression. [also just really noticing how beautiful his outfit is here *cher voice* can we get a little commotion for the dress?]

and then he reveals his reason for wanting to get married: he’s been lonely. now, I know this has also been a theme through the series, nandor being unlucky in love. but a marriage within the month is a big step. what’s changed? guillermo being absent in his life, that’s what! what’s going to fill the guillermo-shaped hole in his life? oh, a romantic partner! a wife! good thinking, nandor!

the thing is, I don’t think either of them have the will or the words to discuss the massive shift in their dynamic. they are trying frantically to express it, but failing at every turn (this is why the closer they get, the more physical fights they have). but I really, really want to talk about the way their emotional connection manifests in the blocking for this scene:

HELLO! the closeness of the best man declaration with them literally inches apart, followed by the chasm of emotional distance that nandor creates with the absent wife. and its actually guillermo that rounds to the other side of the coffin. I mean, guillermo is very vulnerable in this scene. he’s in nothing but a little robe, and dishevilled and nandor has just saved his life. but this is the only time he seeks protection for himself in the form of a physical barrier between them. (also it being a coffin, and the unfulfilled promise of vampirism that is the true barrier between them).

I know this has all been said a hundred times before. but I rewatched this scene and was struck by how big the emotions are and how they affect both characters physically. also I apologise endlessly for my shitty little screenshots idk how to gif. BUT please go back and rewatch the scene for all of nandor’s heartwrenching microexpressions. there’s one that the camera barely catches when he’s got his back to guillermo and it drives me insane let me see his whole FACE. anyway <3

most of my scenerios are PURELY for the bit..... because my dreams are stupid... except for the ones thet arent bits that i will not be sharing becuase when its not slash jay its slash ess are ess

theres this scenario,, it needs a bit of background,,, im an international transfer student hosting with lila bc shes also a transfer student yk..... we pretend to be siblings for the bit. everything is for the bit. IT WAS NEVER THAT SERIOUS... like sometimes shes like "do you wanna lie and say this together" ill just be like "YES OMG YESSS" if it isnt something too crazy,, like if im not in relationship drama ill be a problem everywhere else.. LOLOL JK YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN (also i feel like its important to say that NO ONE in this dr is a crazy irredeemable BITCH bc i thought it was weird that all the crazy irredeemable BITCHES were high school girls... and then gabriel)

in this dream dream marinete had called us out for not being related and it was like a huge thing and i was DEEPLY UPSET about the joke not being funny anymore because of her (which tbh real) and this was like,, right before the style queen episode where like,, the fashion show happens right??

okay i scripted im a model because OF COURSE I DID!!! I MEAN JEEZ MAN IM NOT JUST GONNA BE SOME RANDOM BLOKE IN PARIS WHOS ONLY DEFINING FEATURE IS A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES,,, so i would have to attend the fashion show,, but like i didnt wanna go,, for several reasons ,,,

so then me n her (mostly her) came up with like the stupidest idea,,,

she came to school super excited and was talking about how her brother was visiting from germany (?? i cant remember) (this happened months ago sue me) for the fashion show,,, and convinced everyone WE were faking being siblings but her "REAL" brother was coming soon but she "never talks about him because hes old" and i instantly start doubling down on this like "OH YEAH HIM??? HE HATES ME!! HES THE WORST UGH HES A BIG GROUCH BLAH BLAH BLAH I HATE LILAS totally real OLDER BROTHER" and over the week lila is styling one of her old wigs for me and meanwhile im ordering like a bunch of clothes ive never worn before and custom shoes to make me look taller and everything and were brainstorming fake names and backstory details and everything fashion show rolls around, i call in last minute to tell gabe i broke my fingers or got sick or something and wasnt fit for the runway blah blah blah,, i get dressed, get like,, makeup to change my ENTIRE FACE even that wax you put on your nose to change its shape..... i have contacts in and our hair (wigs cough cough) are similar colours and im like 6 foot something i look like a WHOLE NEW PERSON.

and then we just go there and mess around lololol... OBVIOUSLY SOMEONEEEE NOT GONNA NAME NAMES marinetteCOUGH COUGH had to sus me out and start prodding but we like DOUBLED DOWN SO HARD. acting like i didnt know anybody the whole time...

I lied about being a child movie star before going into academics, i whipped out some german (because who DOSENT script they know 4 languages MINIMUM) i was SHIT TALKING myself in the third person like any time anyone was like "omg where is chimera theyre not on the runway and not responding to texts omg" i would just be like "OHHHHH MI GAWDDDD BE HAPPY THEYRE NOT HERE!!! She's scared, that little girl. She's so small, so fragile. The boys her age need to protect her, shield her. But they're why she's scared, they're who she doesn't want to be seen by. They're who she wants to get away from, when they pull her blue hair.

She asked her uncle to teach her how to fight. She's barely nine, small as can be. But there's something, in her turquoise eyes, something that convince him to teach her.

She scares all the boys now, when they try to pick on her or her brother.

She's happy about it. They dont look at her anymore.

I want to be a hunter.

Her dad stops in his tracks when she tells him that, after a day with her uncle. "Why is that." he asked. "Because I want to." she anwsers. She never liked telling him everything. She doesn't like telling him it's because she feels weak if she can't protect him and their family.

He asks the trainer if he can exceptionally take in a girl.

She's the best in her group.

Stop looking at me.

They never do.

When it's not the others her age, it's the adults. They talk about that girl that started to ask to be a boy. They look at the way she - he ? - outclasses all the other kids without trying. Look at the way they grow, how their body changes.

Stop looking.

When he comes back from a hunt with two of his seniors, they all go to him. "You did it Virgil !" Says his next-door neighboor. "I always trusted you boy." the old man that often look at the forest hums. "He's the one who killed most of them, your kids are exceptionnal !" His dad is told.

They're not looking at him, too busy congratulating the others. When he knows they're not playing attention, he goes home. His coat, big and hiding as much as possible, is hung on the wall of the small house. He wanders in his own room, a luxery for most families dont have in the village.

He looks in the mirror, old and dusty, barely cleaned by the kid.

He's almost fourteen now. He still feels as lost as the little girl he was just three years ago.

He puts a sheet on the mirror, trying his best to ignore the reflexion of a stranger it gives him back.

I need to stop looking.

He almost thinks he'll be unable to see like he did before when he comes back with a bloody face just a few months after his first successful hunt. His own blood, running down the right side of his face, falling in his eye and making it impossible to open.

The nurse tells him he'll have a nasty scar, but his eye is safe. She saw him in worst shape, when he had stumbled upon a trap as a kid and almost lost his whole leg. She gives him something to stop the pain and looks at him with kindness. "We got to help each other.", she says.

Stop looking at that girl.

He doesn't say it. He never does. Just avoids their gaze, gets away.

The mirror is broken when it starts reflecting a body that is more and more unlike his. He sees a woman in the mirror. A woman that is terrified of him.

Stop looking at me.

When he's eighteen, a letter is sent to him. A school wants him to join, and they will not take no for an anwser. He accepts, knows the village has enough men to not need his help.

People at the school look at him all the time. They look at his scars, raised skin on a face that was described as "pretty" once. They look at his arms and back, the muscles impossible to miss. They look at him with a confused look when he speaks romanian or latin, the only languages he knows.

He wants them to mind their business.

His roommate leaves him alone. They hid the mirrors before he even got to the room, mumbling in a language he did not understand.

He's... Lost.

So he looks around. Tries to find what he's used to.

There's a boy from the year before him. Pale, shying away from the sun, always alone. He heard what he thinks is his name in passing, once or twice, from students that approched him. Never did he approch them first.

"Bastien". Virgil keeps an eye on him, doesn't trust what's happening around him.

He called him once, he thinks. He started being more discreet after that. He does not like those green eyes.

Yet he learns english. It's hard, but one of the two people knowing latin or romanian helped him a bit. They're short tempered and agressive, but they don't look at Virgil when they teach him.

He starts talking to his roommate, and they talk with him too. It's not much, but now he recognizes the girl from their class who's often in the room, here for the make-up abilities of her friend.

He starts talking to Bastien too.

Well, more like "Bastien asked what his problem was and now he's keeping a closer eye on him".

The year goes well, once people stopped looking.

His english gets better with the months, and soon enough he's the one teaching latin to someone Bastien knows. Soon enough, he's running each morning with two people from classes above his, sharing stories from his village with them.

They look scared, sometimes.

He still goes back at the village, when classes are not happening. He's still a hunter. He's still here to fight and protect.

Once he looks in the mirror in his room, broken pieces put back together as best as they could be.

He doesn't look at a woman. He looks at himself.

He doesn't mind being looked at, for a while. Doesn't mind when people stare at him.

He likes it, when someone looks at him. Enjoys seeing his eyes on him at the corner of his vision.

And yet, he gets looked at by a vampire. It looks at him like he's prey, like he's just here to serve it. It looks at him like he's a way to get amusement, looking at his chest and hips.

Don't look at me.

Never look at me like that.

It's dead soon after that. But Virgil lost his arm. He had to.

When Bastien sees him, he's terrorized. Doesn't understand why that was necessary. Virgil wants to reassure him, to tell him it was fine. But only an empty feeling comes to him.

Please don't look at me like that.

Bastien starts looking at him like before after a few weeks. They're friends, he thinks, hopes. Bastien's his anchor here, someone he can always find when his roommate is out with his friend. Someone he can look around with.

He knows he's in love when Mika asks him what's his deal. When they look at him with tired eyes, like it's Virgil's fault his heart tries to ruin his friendship.

Virgil's never been in love. So he keeps watching. Avoids to be seen while being looked at.

It takes months before it gets too much. Months of a new student, Tachi, mocking them. Months of Emerens, the he's been teaching latin, teasing him. Months of his hands, the one of flesh and the one of hard plastic, longing to feel the touch of Bastien's.

"Bas', can you look at me ?"

They're alone, in Virgil's dormroom. It's not uncommun for them to just sit in silence together, Bastien doodling and Virgil reading. Yet Bastien looks up from his sketchbook almost immediatly.

"What's up ?"

There's a pause. Virgil's eyes goes from Bastien's face to the ceiling.

"Nothing, sorry."

I just wanted you to look at me.

"... Uhuh. Come on, speak your mind."

"I..." He doesn't know. He wets his lips, feels blood rush to his face. "Can you... See me."

Silence, the sound of a book closing and shuffling next to Virgil. Next, Bastien's voice comes from right next to him.

"Yea I can, that's... A weird question."

"No." You don't see me, you're looking.

"No it's not weird ?"

"No ! It's..." You're just looking. "You're not seeing me. Not..."

"How can I do that then ?"

Virgil turns his head, his nose facing Bastien's, the other boy's glasses folded on the sheets as to not break them with his head turned to Virgil. He's looking at him, with squinted eyes.

"You can't even see me properly." Virgil laughs, smile growing on his face.

"Not the point. How do I look at you, Virg' ?"

It's dumb, that question. It should be easy, to just say anything, to avoid the question, to go back to their own game of tension.

But Virgil can only look at Bastien. Looks at dark, tired green eyes, looks at chapped lips, looks at a slightly disheveled uniform, looks at hands he wants to hold.

"Do what you think I want you to."

It's a plea, really.

Yet, Bastien anwsers it.

Chapped lips meets Virgil's. Soft, just a press of lips, chaste and quick as can be. Virgil's eyes closed, and he chases after Bastien's lips before he has any opportunity to say something dumb.

He feels so light, like his brain is about to explode. It's just pressing his lips to Bastien's, but if feels so... Special.

He open his eyes, and turquoise meets dark green.

You're looking.

"I love you." A whisper in the quiet room, an invitation from Bastien.

Keep looking.

"I love you too".

See me.

He kisses him again, hands finding his face to hold him in cold and warm palms.

Never stop doing that.

it looks GREAT i REALLY LIKE IT

i really adore the artstyle they've used for the 3d models, they aren't as jarring as the old ones (which i didnt like at first but they grew on me) and still look real nice and stylized - a little nit picky but sometimes the mouths look? odd?? but like eh whatever. the noses too sometimes but again. eh whatever.

i will say though. i like the artstyle but. laytons new model. im kinda. iffy on it. at least right now it's prolly gonna be the old 3d models situation again where i gotta adjust then i can appreciate them in their own way but as of the moment. im kinda. hmmmm. i'll need to see them more in action too of course but right now he just feels. off. at times it looks fine and then others it looks odd. there's the outfit change, sure, which i wasnt the greatest fan of but i hardly hate it - i just prefer his big ol thick coat and sweater. that's fine, that isnt the problem, but he just. his whole shape language just feels! off! that man is a cylinder!! rounded squares!! reassuring and reliable!! in this he kinda looks like a triangle! maybe it's just the one idle pose cus we didnt see much STILL. part of what i liked about him is that this man is a TUBE. he is the cardboard tube that cain killed his brother with. now though he's looking less tube and more rolled up carpet with a rubber band on. but then again who knows these are just my initial gut reactions! maybe layton just decided he wanted to go to the club in which case slay king go for it also his head just looks like a touch too big but maybe that's also just my brain imagining things

the 3d cutscenes looked really nice which im pleasantly surprised by BUT i really hope they wont be used to like. replace 2d cutscenes. i dont imagine they will since they're a staple of the series but still.

kinda hope it stays like what we saw in the trailer where it's just layton's musings and lukes thoughts on things, maybe interspersed a bit throughout the gameplay where they need to be like 'look he picked up a thing here's a quick shot of it!' just yknow complimentary stuff and little moments. then again though i'd love for them to prove me wrong i just still have miracle mask cutscene ptsd

either way i like them so far and i hope this might mean we get a few more cutscenes where we can just see layton and luke interacting with stuff more. and also give us more swordfighting because i mean. layton swordfighting. it's the first time we've seen him in ages i'd be there trying to shove as many layton swordfights in as possible, finally give him a sword to just have on him at all times so that every single cutscene there's always the potential he'll just whip it out

the 2d art we have seen FANTASTIC i LOVE IT it's GREAT and the environments (or environment we've only seen like one) is DELIGHTFUL im so glad to see that good ol layton architecture im so excited to see more, ive always adored how environments and backgrounds are stylized also LITTLE LUKE AND LITTLE LAYTON SURVEYING THE SCENE!! THEY ARE JUST. IN THE CORNER. THEY ARE LOOKING!! it's a really small detail but it's GREAT i really hope it wont be just the one area

i also really like the hud we've seen so far, it looks clean without being obstructive or distracting - was a bit worried how they'd make it work on switch but so far it looks good still a bit worried about the memo just cus i know i will be playing mostly docked and memo functions with joysticks are. eck. but like hey im the one thats gonna opt out of using a stylus so that's on me, hopefully we can just stamp some stuff like circles and numbers maybe and that'll be enough

lastly though THE MUSIC!!! YEAHHH LAYTON MUSIC!!! layton music is always good this is no exception, absolutely looking forward to eventually having this new puzzle music ingrained in my mind after staring at a puzzle for 4 hours really been liking what we've been hearing so far it's got the good ol Layton Rhythm and the signature accordion but with a new twist i like, more brass instruments it sounds like man i cannot WAIT to hear what the title theme will sound like they always manage to pop off with the main theme

love hearing you ramble about r and s, so I wanted to pry at your brain and ask what you think their love languages are (giving and receiving?)

hii bab!! sorry i am a little slow responding to this!! to be honest ive never really fully bought into love languages...i feel like as a concept it attempts to simplify quite a complex feeling and i dont think for a lot of people the way they express/experience love can be as easily broken down and categorised as the idea of love languages suggests it can be. having said that i have some thoughts about this in relation to them and i will tuck them under the cut xx

as i said firstly i dont think you could necessarily allocate either of them one primary love language!! but i do also think in general they express love very differently xx the trouble with r is that in my head any expression of love from him that makes him vulnerable is at least at first very daunting for him in a way i dont think it is for s. more often than not in relation to r i imagine that in the end s will say/do whatever scary thing it is he believes he has to + he will bare his neck for r in a way r finds it a lot more difficult to do for him. idk in general i just think the experience of loving someone is quite different for each of them and i think s is a lot more uninhibited about it.

forgot the Official love languages so i did a little google and idk i think its so easy to make a case for most of these...s' thing is loyalty he wants to be r's dog sooo bad so yeah i think. acts of service checks out there but so do the rest of them to some extent. the thing about r also is that he is often a silly billy and i think perhaps s could follow him around adoringly for seven years he could perform all the acts of service and spend all the quality time and engage in all the physical touch he likes but if r does not hear the words [i am doing these things because i am in love with you] then i believe he's pathetic enough to convince himself that none of it means what it so obviously means. so i think maybe he especially needs the indisputable words that cannot be misinterpreted but then well do i think s expressly does not need the words? no...and like. well i think they both like spending quality time together because they are in love right. they are in love and kissing and they like being together because they love each other.

s i think is just a physical guy so i think he would like that contact because he is a dog + he wants head scratches...which i think r would be happy to provide also i think although he probably needs the words that does not make it easier for him to say them himself. i find it difficult to pin down any one way that r leans towards in regards to how he would express love (because he's so silly billy)...i think its just a little bit of everything except at least at first he is doing it a bit more quietly...also i think the way you express love might be somewhat influenced by whichever ways you think most resonate with the person you are loving no? if r needs to hear the words s will say the words and if s wants back scratches r will scratch his back and tomorrow if r has a headache s will fetch him painkillers and if s is worried about something r will talk to him about it and if s sees r's favourite biscuits while shopping he will buy them and so on and so forth yknow. to some extent it is about expressing love in the way best suited to the moment and the shape of that might change between days and people but the love stays the same its still. love innit

Spider didn't know at what point he fell asleep when suddenly he was woken up by a light but vigorous shaking of his shoulder. He opened his eyes and all the remnants of sleep disappeared when he saw little girl right in front of his face, looking like she was about to cry.

- What happened Tuk? He whispered and pulled her closer to him, nervously looking around the room in fear that someone would come and separate them for disturbing the night peace.

In the darkness he saw Quaritch looking at them from the corner of his eye, seeming to be debating whether to get up to them or leave it alone. They made eye contact and Spider joined in with his best efforts to convey a clear non-verbal message - "I will take care of it." Quaritch maintained eye contact for a moment, then sighed and nodded. However, he did not lose sight of them.

- I can't sleep Tuk said tearfully into his shirt. "I miss my parents. And Kiri, and Neteyam. Even Lo'ak but dont tell him this. My mama always sings for me, I can't fall asleep without it' - she wailed louder, so Spider immediately reacted and started stroking her hair to try to silence her. Suddenly he felt a strange feeling of Deja vu and he immersed himself in a memory that he didn't want to remember at that moment.

Ahhh props to you 👏👏

(Disclaimer that this is just my opinion throughout!)

Para 1 - Overall it gets to the point well and the urgency/change of situation is well conveyed!

If I was editing I'd be looking at these factors:

1. Is it worth breaking up the first sentence? Otherwise he seems to be thinking that about sleep timings while he's still asleep. So he doesn't know what time it is when he falls asleep (then new sentence) he's suddenly woken. Or flip it, start with suddenly woken and then maybe later in that section there's time for him to think about how little sleep he's had/what time it is if relevant.

2. Light but vigorous can come off as a contradiction - like is he being shaken hard or soft? And I know what the answer is, it's a child that's shaking him, so I might take out light and mention that small hands are doing the vigorous shaking instead.

3. Last sentence looks great, I might have considered trying to show the impact of him being woken up fast by cutting down on words: 'He opened his eyes and all the remnants of sleep disappeared-' could be 'He opened his eyes, all remnants of sleep gone-' or similar.

Para 2 - This is good character continuity - this Spider is very focused on Tuk, keeping her safe, keeping her protected and he's definitely going to be concerned about her 'getting into trouble.'

If I was editing I'd be looking at these factors:

Speech marks are missing for Spider talking.

2. Are they in the tent here? If so, he's not looking around the room but at the tent entrance (or trying to see shapes of people through the sheets)

3. The 'night peace' doesn't quite sound like a thing? 'peace' on its own would be fine 'peace of the night' maybe or 'night's peace'.

Para 3 - Again good movement of the plot, Quaritch is now involved, Spider is trying to get him uninvolved.

If I was editing I'd be looking at these factors:

Is Quaritch looking from the corner of his eye? If so, he's facing away from them? Why would that be? Would it not be dead on?

2. 'Seeming to be debating' is fine but there must be a reason Spider knows that... maybe Q is studying them, maybe his body language is suggesting he's about to move off the seat... if we know what Spider is seeing then could be better to describe that and then we can all infer that he is debating (and the following lines will confirm it).

3. Unless Q was already sending a direct message to him, Spider isn't really 'joining in' on anything. I would prob cut that and say he 'made his best attempt to convey' or similar.

4. I wouldn't use speech marks for the non-verbal message, in the case of Custody I'd prob put the message in italics (though that's not the only way to do it!)

5. Usually you lose sight of someone/thing because stuff gets in the way, but in the scenario where Quaritch has nothing else to look at but a still/dark room then he can't really lose sight of them even if he wanted to (unless he wants to turn round and shut his eyes lol). So to convey the impact that you're looking for I'd prob say he kept 'his eyes trained on them' or Spider 'felt his gaze lingering on them' or 'he went back to looking at the video camera but Spider knew he still had half an eye on them' or similar.

Para 4 - This is good because he asked Tuk a question and you didn't wait too long for her to answer (there is a paragraph between but that's like a 3 second look between Q and S). Also realistic that Tuk misses parents and trusts Spider to help her.

If I was editing I'd be looking at these factors:

Tuk's speech marks are missing in a couple places.

2. Is Spider wearing a shirt? (In the actual chapter it's not specified so this choice is totally fine, but it's something I'd think about in case it was specifically mentioned earlier - ie if he'd been wearing Paz's jersey right now her crying into it would have been relevant).

3. All the family names tumbling out are good - but because Tuk's distressed is she going to be thinking 'don't tell him this'? She might say 'even Lo'ak' if they usually bicker, but 'don't tell him this' sounds like something you'd say in a jokey way or a secretive way.. not when you're crying in distress.. so I would cut that.

4. She hasn't called Neytiri 'mama' in Custody so I would switch to mom (or mommy if she's extremely distressed) - though obviously mama would be fine as a choice normally!

5. Saying she can't sleep without the singing is probably a contradiction because presumably Spider made sure she was asleep before he slept earlier, however she's a kid in distress so she could very well have exaggerated and this doesn't necessarily need any changes.

6. 'She wailed louder' after she's just finished speaking implies that she then let out a cry/wail/howl/big noise of dismay. She very much could have done this, but it infers she's now full out sobbing/crying out a wordless noise. It's very possible that's what you want, but given she was speaking tearfully a second ago it's quite a big jump. So I might have switched to saying her voice was getting louder, she was beginning to wail, something like that.

7. 'Spider immediately reacted' weirdly slows everything down because there's nothing specific to visualise - I'd take out 'reacted' so that he immediately starts stroking her hair and trying to shush her. Would also consider inserting a bit about him glancing to see if Q is reacting since that's a worry of his.

8. If he doesn't want to remember the memory right now (which good, yes, he shouldn't want to right now) then he wouldn't immerse himself in it. I would probably say that it immersed him, he found himself immersed.. something like that to show it's not his will that it's happening.

HAHAHAHAHA! Whenever you say “I dont remember” i know you have this one part of your brain that remembers it, you just don’t know it.

I wasn’t able to say thank you personally as I remember.. becauseeee— “how?” we’re both awkward for 20mins. I appreciate the effort, the gifts (loved it sm!) and your perseverance even if our hearts were kinda apart for a year. I wonder what’s the 1st and 2nd draft of your letter’s content. Haha! I like it sometimes when we fight its not because to feel proud that i can make you do things when I’m mad i don’t care about that but BECAUSE the situation reminds me how much I love you and its taking me back to the first time we met. I guess Its also for me to remind myself constantly who you are and what you truly are to me. Fights are the answers to my questions. 

Please don’t jinx my prayers, im trying so hard to work with God so he can let the universe finally agree with us!!!!! HAHAHA jk. I cannot tell you enough how much I love that you draw games geralt but show dandelion. I honestly do think they'd get on SO WELL. Jaskier is basically book dandelion but younger / less polished and we all know book geralt and dandelion are bffs. I love them

kjsddjf well most of the time i think i draw My Own version of geralt, if that makes sense. A mix of my favorite parts of canon and fanon, usually can be recognized by having the scar over his left eye, but the circular medallion from the show (he's mostly game!geralt tho, because i love him with my life). If I mean for him to be Full Game Geralt then i give him the spiky wolf medallion, and if I mean for him to be Show Geralt I remove the scar. it's a small thing i dont think most people notice??? jkdfnsd but it's how i decide just what level of Gruff he is hahah

BUT YES AGREED. Game geralt and show jaskier would get on extremelly well and I think they deserve to live in corvo bianco together
