one day, when you are all grown up, you will say you feel nothing, then your eyes will disagree with you, and before you know it, you are crying infront of the woman you love, and her only thought will be "whats for dinner?" and maybe then you will think of me, and swallow the horrible taste the begging has left in your mouth. i have no weapons on me, only a longing that is killing me, and a deep feeling of grief for someone who is still alive. your roots will always be tangled with mine, and here you are, uprooting us, just to try and grow with someone else, but you are not rooted with, and so your leaves will die.

last night i thought i knew what to say, but you werent there to hear it. i could recognise you by touch alone, by smell, i would know you blind, by the way your heart beat and the way your feet struck the earth. i would know you in death and at the end of the world.

sometimes i react and think "where is the girl i was 2 yeras ago?" and "what would she think of me now?" but its hard to leave your burning home after youve spent so much time cleaning the floors, but old keys wont open new doors, so i am here with a crowbar, leaving clawmarks down the pannels, barging and pushing, willing god to let me back in.

a mans heart is wretched. it isnt like a mothers womb, it wont bleed, and it wont stretch to make room for you, so now i sit here, with my head in my hands, praying for some sort of relief from a god i have no right to beg for.
