If YTTD characters had a YT channel what do you think they’d post?
Sara Chidouin - She posts vlogs with her friends. She doesn't want/expect them to do any numbers, she just wants to document the good times spent with people she cares about.
Joe Tazuna - Joe seems like the type to film random clips of his day and then upload them to YouTube because...why not? It's not always interesting stuff either, it's mostly just ten seconds of a cool park he found or a cute dog he saw.
Gin Ibushi - I mostly think his channel would be talking about how awesome the Mew-Chan brand of stuffed animals are or giving out real animal facts.
Keiji Shinogi - I feel like Keiji would give advice on how to avoid legal trouble with police.
Alice Yabusame - Alice worked as manger for Reko's band so I feel like if he had a YouTube he would just promote the stuff she made. But pre death game wise I could see him making fashion content as he's shown in island mode and his cell flashback to have a fondness for it. Though I could see him using so many stripes and gaudy outfits that people begin to think it's a parody.
Reko Yabusame - I think she'd post a lot of her music and covers. Sometimes she's answer comments from fans.
Nao Egokoro - Nao posts a lot of videos about paintings. From analyzing their meanings to showing different techniques and ranking their difficulty.
Kazumi Mishima - I feel like Mishima would start by teaching school lessons, but then he would end up being more well known for answering questions in his comments in an insightful way. Before long he'd be known more as the question guy then the teacher guy.
Q-taro Burgerberg - He mostly posts the best of his sports reels in hope a major management company will see them. But instead he gets well know for a video of him and his baseball buddies running around intoxicated.
Kai Satou - Is there any doubt that he would post cooking content? I also think he'd make the occasional video about maintaining a home and advice on how to do chores.
Kanna Kizuchi - Her YouTube would be borderline a family channel. She films her sisters and parents going about their day to day and their interactions.
Shin Tsukimi - My gut instinct was he would download video's that seemed like they were going to be taken down and repost them. (EX: Bad Youtuber apologies, videos that contain copywrited material, a video where someone says something they should.) and he would 100% do this for monetary gain.
Dolls
Ranmaru Kageyama - I feel like he just rambles to himself and then posts it because he assumes no one will see it. And he's right in his case.
Naomichi Kurumada - He gives workout advice.
Anzu Kinashi - Slime videos.
Mai Tsurugi - I feel like she mostly posts baking vides, and then one day she posts a knife throwing tutorial that goes mega virial because of the contrast against her normal content.
Shunsuke Hayasaka - I can't see him wanting a YouTube channel but he does show up in Gin's videos a lot. He's always so very awkward.
Hinako Mishuku - She makes what looks like normal videos that have jump scares randomly in the middle.

ViVi November Issue (Snow Man cover)
Solo Q/A interview
Nishihata Daigo
Q. What do you think about sharing clothes with your significant other?
A. Wonderful, absolutely amazing! Since I am not as tall that's why it might be a bit difficult but, I want her to nervously say “this is too big”. I guess it's a nice feeling for your significant other to wearing your own clothes? Well, I am not sure since I don't have any experience in dating (laughs)
Q. Have you actually shared clothes with someone?
A. Only with my father. With members, rather than sharing, we have matching outfits more. Just the other day I copied and wore the same t-shirt as that of Michieda-kun, I also have matching rings, t-shirt and bags with Ohashi-kun. Good things are good afterall.
Q. At what situation with what kind of girl would you like to share clothes?
A. The first thing that came in my mind is, at home date. I want to do classic things, something like, my girlfriend saying “this is a bit big~” while wearing my sweatshirt (shy). If a girl who is usually calm and caring let's herself be spoiled only by me it'll definitely make my heart race. Also since I am from Kansai, I want to joke around with my lover. Is the hurdle too high? Its totally fine even if she can't make a come back (to my jokes). As long she laughs at my jokes!
Q. Can you straightforwardly tell “cute” to your lover?
A. Of course! I can even say things that'd make one feel shy with no problem. That's why on the contrary, if it's someone who isn't good with this kind of thing, it might be a problem. Is this what they call occupational disease?
Onishi Ryusei
Q. What do you think about sharing clothes with your significant other?
A. I completely love the idea. Getting caught by “Isn't it your boyfriend's?”. It looks cute when the girl takes the clothes to wear. I adore conversations that goes “Ah, please lend me that clothes” “Sure~”.
Q. What is good about girls wearing men's clothes?
A. The little loose creates a relaxed vibe. You get to be fashionable even without being too fancy.
Q. Where would you go for date with your girlfriend who is wearing your clothes?
A. Park! I want to go to a park. I have an image that we will be in a relax mode as that of living at home, while eating home made bento we will have a laid-back conversation. We will also bring our dog. Uwaa~ That'd be so nice~.
Q. Would you borrow your girlfriend's clothes?
A. If I were to go out wearing girlfriend's clothes, in case I feel her smell on them, I might get excited (laughs)
Q. Do you have a type you are interested in?
A. Someone who likes to exchange meaningless texts, I guess? If I receive texts with dumb contents at random hours, I might think it as cute.
Q. With which Naniwa member would you like to share clothes with?
A. Ohashi-kun. Because his clothes usually have a calming smell to them (laughs). Also he is quite particular about shoulder width or size in general. He is a fashionable person who has a lot of oversized clothes. I want to wear Ohashi-kun's clothes ♡
Nagao Kento
Q. What do you think about sharing clothes with your significant other?
A. If my girlfriend says “I wanna wear it” then it's completely fine but, I won't recommend her anything by myself. Ah, but if my girlfriend is complimented when wearing my clothes then I'll go “You're welcome”. Since I prefer ladies pants more than the normal ones, if I try then I might also be able to borrow my girlfriend's clothes. As I am a man who has plaid skirt, heel boots and such, I absolutely have nothing that I don't like!
Q. The fashionable Nagao-san, are girls who are into fashion your type?
A. No No, there's nothing like that. If we have common interests and hobbies the conversation might extend, but it's okay even if it doesn't match my taste. Rather, I might apologize for being obsessed with my own fashion while not paying any attention to the other person's clothes  (laughs). At the end, it's all about self satisfaction. As for the significant other, I would like her to cherish her own colors.
Q. Do you talk about clothes with the members?
A. Not really. I talk with my clothes loving friends from my hometown. I also often talk with salespersons of clothing shops with whom I'm close with about release information of new clothes, new brands and such. On top of that, I am the type who doesn't want to match outfits with the members. Yet it troubles me as I would often match with them! If my favourite pair of sneakers matched with anyone then my excitement would go down like “Ah..”. I don't mean this in a negative way. I mean, when you go and hang out with the members if you see someone wearing the same outfit as you, won't it ruin your mood? No matter how close you are! kinda (laughs)
Michieda Shunsuke
Q. What do you think about sharing clothes with your significant other?
A. I think it's really good! The little oversized-ness is cute, also whenever my girlfriend would try to borrow my clothes in my absence I want to tell her things like “What are you doing, geez~”. I want to fool around while feeling all fluffy inside (laughs). Imagining it alone is fun!
Q. Have you actually shared clothes with someone of the opposite sex?
A. As a child I once wore my sister's clothes without her permission, that time she was quite mad at me, so now we no longer share. On the other hand, now when my sister wears my clothes I really can't think of that as cute (laughs).
Q. If you get a girlfriend would you prefer thing to her way or your way?
A. Since I will not hold my partner, if she prefers to wear the things she likes the. I guess I'm fine with it. But if she's not really careful about wearing clothes that are quite revealing then my eyes might have trouble figuring out where to look at! If I receive requests from my significant other like “I want you to wear this kind of clothes” then I'll try my best to respond to her request.
Q. Finally, what is your type?
A. If we are talking about appearance, a girl with natural makeup and bob to semi long hair. As for what's inside (personality), someone who is able to attract elegant people with her soft atmosphere. Also, If I make any mistakes or there is anything wromg in that case I want her to tell that clearly to me. On the other hand, I dislike girls who likes to control. It's fine to act all cutesy to be perceived as cute but as we can't see her true intentions so that's still a bit... Though personally I can't usually recognise such actions at all. Amongst the members, not only is my score low in terms of love, I think I'm quite simple as a person (laughs)
Nishihata and Nagao: Micchi sure is naive!
Takahashi Kyohei
Q. What do you think about girls who wears men's or unisex clothings?
A. It's my first time hearing that girls wear men's clothes! There has been times when I wore slender ladies pants but, there's an opposite pattern as well... Eh, you don't mean room wear, right? Well~ that's something unknown to me (laughs)
Q. What if your girlfriend asks you to lend your clothes?
A. I am sorry but, I wouldn't prefer it. I would constantly think if my clothes have weird smell to it. I'm totally fine with matching though.
Q. What kind of fashion do you like on girls?
A. Something that's pretty in general. Style like, tucked in t-shirt with flare pants, I like outfits that have a refreshing silhouette to them (laughs). Especially flare denims are the best. Previously I used to like skinny pants but, I graduated from them when I became an adult.
Q. What is your ideal personality type?
A. Someone who's funny. Not funny like actual comedians, for example, someone who is really pretty but has a weird laugh, has a strong tone when speaking, if someone who has a gap that you wouldn't think of would really make me interested in them.
Q. What if your significant other requests “I want you to wear this”?
A. If my significant other dresses as per my ideal form then I would do the same. Anything is fine but I don't like showing navel! Even then if there's a request to show muscles, I will say “sure, at the beach” (laughs).
Fujiwara Joichiro
Q. What if your girlfriend asks you to lend your clothes?
A. I'd totally lend them to her. It'll have this “In return lend me something too” kind of feeling (laughs). Doing things like, lining up all the clothes on bed, like how they do in drama and saying things like, “What should I wear today?” “How is this one?” “Ah that's no good” kinda. Isn't that super good? (laughs)
Q. What do you think about girls who wears men's outfits?
A. Normally, when a girl who usually wears ladies outfit wears men's clothes then the form and atmosphere in general will change, right? That change compared to usual will make men's heart flutter. It's the contrast after all, you know? (laughs)
Q. Where would you go for date with your girlfriend who is wearing your clothes?
A. It's a place that is particularly really admired by the people of Kansai but I want to go to a cafe in Yokohama (laughs). We will take pictures there which are different from our usual ones. Later when we will look at the pictures, I want to talk about memories like, “We did it that time. That was the first time when we exchanged clothes!” (shy)
Q. Do you have any ideal type for girls' fashion or make up?
A. Instead of black hair, I prefer girls with dyed hair. Your eyes will follow the girl who has an  intriguing hair color, like “What's up with that color!?” kinda.
Q. What is your ideal personality type?
A. The type who prepares food first, suddenly buys present saying “This looked nice” even though it isn't their partner's birthday. Someone who expresses their kindness casually through surprises, someone like that is nice.
Ohashi Kazuya
Q. If you get a special person, would you share your clothes with them?
A. I really want to do that!  I want to share my closet completely like, “It's fine to wear any of my clothes”. If we are at home, then I'd have her wear my hoodie like an one piece, something like, it's an appearance that only I know about ♡ When going outside though, as I'm worried/concerned, I'd have her wear pants (laughs).
Q. What kind of fashion do you like on girls?
A. Street fashion. Something like a big top with loose wide pants, and a knit cap to along with it! If I spot a girl like that in the middle of the road, then I will follow her with my eyes.
Q. What is your ideal personality type?
A. Someone being with whom would calm me down I guess. If I were to refer to a member then.. Nope, there's no one (laughs). I like slightly modest type of girl who is generally seen wearing glasses while studying in the classroom. Along with that if she's actually really strong in fighting then I might give into her gap.
Q. Have you actually shared clothes with a girl?
A. I have! It's with my almost 50 years old mom though (laughs)
Q. Is it true that you have a lot of clothing items that match with the members?
A. There's a lot. The most is probably with Daigo. Micchi often imitates my hats, with Jo-kun it's the pants, with Kyohei we match rings and down pieces, like t-shirt and such.
Kyohei: It's because Ohashi-kun would invite me to shopping saying “Let's match”
No, it's you who invites me! I am sorry, this kid here is a tsundere (laughs).

i saw your post and was curious, what other japanese dramas do you enjoy? any personal faves you would recommend? ^^
heya ^^ oh my, dear anon. you opened the box of the pandora. because even though i’ll just give you the list on top of my head this is going to be long orz
my favourite drama can be sorted in the following categories:
- ridiculous school drama (with occasional dash of romance) which i watched   mostly in middleschool & highschool ®- slice of life drama with amazing houses, roommate shenanigans (S)- detective & crime drama with the occasional supernatural twist ©
(I will put a “holds up!” next to some older series which i’ve rewatched that are still great despite their age!)
. Gokusen, 2002 ®: the classic high-school delinquents meet a strong teacher and start to show their vulnerable side story. trope galore but it never gets old to see Yukie Nakama as Yankumi, grand-daughter of a Yakuza family beating the shit out of people. → holds up!
. Manhattan Love Story, 2003 (S): a gentleman of a barista starts to meddle in his customers lives so that they’ll finally get the time to appreciate his coffee. → holds up!
. Hana Yori Dango, 2005 (R): the classic. some parts are icky regarding the bullying but the most down-to-earth rendition of all the versions. → holds somewhat up!
. Kurosagi, 2006 (C): a swindler who swindles swindlers. besides the notorious Yamashita Tomohisa one of my favourite actors in his now 80s Yamazaki Tsutomu delivers a shakespearean performance. don’t remember much, only that Yamazaki Tsutomu is glorious.
. My Boss! My Hero!, 2006 (R:) a 27 year old yakuza heir has to go back and finish high school. some weird age-gap thing going on but it is freaking hilarious (the infamous pudding run scene). me and my friends are still singing the ending song during karaoke.
. Nodame Cantabile, 2006 ®: hilarious rom-com set in a music college
. Hotaru no Hikari, 2007 (S): the love story is not that important (even though I love the main female character) because the real star of the series is the house!
. Bloody Monday, 2008 ©: gruesome crime series with college kids helping in an investigation. Michiko Kichise as one of the policewomen is brilliant. i have a crush on her. Hiroki Narimiya is very hot in this, my bi heart is happy.
. Love Shuffle, 2009 (S/R) - 4 people living on the same floor of an apartment complex decide to swap partners “for science”. stellar cast with my crush Karina, Shota Matsuda and more. rare occurrence of a well written gay main character, Shosuke Tanihara is great in this. tw: one plotline starts very dark, featuring themes of depression & suicidal thoughts → holds up!
. BOSS, 2009 ©: not only does this drama have Michiko Kichise (s.o.) but it is headlined by Yuki Amami. my favourite female character in jdrama land. she is strong, intelligent, weird af, slightly older than the average jdrama heroine, has platonic friendships with very hot guys and is herself very hot. one gay side-character who is sadly written underwhelmingly. → holds up!
. MR.BRAIN, 2009 ©: neurologists gets added to a major crime devision. the science in this doesn’t hold up but the cases are pretty rad (especially the piano one, episode 4 I think?) → holds up!
. Otomen, 2009 ®: guy who enjoys female coded hobbies such as knitting and playing with dolls tries to keep up a manly facade in school. some nonsense but I still live for Asuka Masamune’s “female” side. sadly a gay sub-plotline that doesn’t get handled well.
. Tumbling, 2010 ®: bad boy & high-school delinquent Wataru Azuma (Yusuke Yamamoto) joins the male rhythmic gymnastic team of his school to impress his crush on the women’s team and to appease his teachers. discusses toxic masculinity in a great way and has a really good gay subplot (with Daito Shunsuke) (if i recall everything correctly). the cast actually learned rhythmic gymnastics for this and this level of care & passion shows. → holds up!
. Atami no Sousakan, 2010 ©: maybe my favourite japanese drama ever. with the brilliant Odagiri Joe & Chiaki Kuriyama who play two detectives that get send to the small town of Minami-Atami to support the local police in a mysterious case of a vanishing school bus when some of the missing school girls return to town. turns out that the case is weird but the town and its people are even weirder. (i have hardly laughed so hard when watching a tv series) → fucking holds up!
. Asuko March, 2011 ®: due to bad grades Nao Yoshino has to enter a technical highschool and finds herself surrounded by only boys. the romantic plot is average but some great plotlines about emancipation and femininity. and Emi Takei in a working overall handling tools =
. Arakawa Under The Bridge, 2011 (idek what genre this is): this drama is just weird af and for that sole reason worth a watch. the soundtrack is also great.
. Ouran Highschool Host Club, 2011 ®: this drama is pure camp, allures to  some incesty/gay plotlines that are really not great when you think about it but its one of the best manga adaptations I know and just pure hilarity. also: Yusuke Yamamote is made for slapstick.
. Watashi ga Renai dekinai Riyuu, 2011 (S): again featuring my love Karina as a tomboy. fucking great portrayal of different kinds of women and their friendship plus a great house with roommate shenanigans and cooking. → holds up!
. Lucky Seven, 2012 ©: pretty standard detective drama but it features Eita and Nanako Matsushima as the female boss of the agency (who is another of my crushes)
. Switch Girl, 2012 (R): this drama is stupidly funny and while having a pretty traditional love story it features some nice thoughts on judging people by their appearance and beauty standards.
. Kagi no Kakatta Heya, 2012 ©: locked room mystery crime series.
. Soumato Kabushiki Gaisha, 2012 ©: a company that stores the film everyone sees before they die. the customers are able to watch their whole life on film, most of them discovering some very dark secrets about their lives. tw: suicide, abuse, generally quite heavy topics
. Toshi Densetsu no Onna, 2012 ©: a female detective connects her cases to mysterious urban legends to solve them. Masami Nagasawa’s outfits are the second star of the show.
. Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou, 2013 (C/S): mystery solving with the help of literature and placed in an old antique book store. what’s not to like.
. Yakou Kanransha, 2013 ©: two families living opposite of each other in an upscale neighborhood. one day a man is found murdered and everything is connected by a midnights ferries wheel.
. Summer Nude, 2013 (R/S):  Karina (again! i love her) as a famous cook who has to rebuild her life in a coastal town after some hiccups in her personal life. food and a town at the beach with Karina playing another tomboy role. i love it.
. Mahoro Eki Mae Bangaichi, 2013 (C/S): Eita plays a problem solver for hire in a weird neighborhood featuring the eclectic Ryuhei Matsuda.
. River’s Edge Ookawabata Tanteisha, 2014 ©: aesthetic™ with my love Odagiri Joe.
. Gomen ne Seishun, 2014 (R/S): some catholic girls school vs boy school rivalry focused on the teachers with a mysterious case in the past. Hikari Mitsushima as the girl school’s teacher has amazing clothes.
. Koinaka, 2015 (R/S): two highschool sweethearts meeting again by chance. really quiet and sweet love story.
. Miss Sherlock, 2018 ©: a female sherlock. a female watson. solving crime. i wanted it to be more gay but the series is pretty solid. Yuko Takeuchi’s wardrobe is goals. also: Yuko Takeuchi is goals.
. What did you eat yesterday, 2019 (S): gay slice-of life series. still airing but so far I’m super happy. a couple in its 40s and their everyday life. food porn. also hilarious. (I might gif some more)

Chapter 2
agreeing with the stupid idea of Marianne, the brown haired girl took the time to explain Kazue about her stupid plan. She was really fond of Kazue and the last thing she wanted was disappear because of Mari's plan and leave the owner of the cat cafe alone. Mille and her were really good friends, they met on a day that the brown haired girl tried to take out the stress from college and spent some time with the fluffy cats. She noticed right away how the black haired woman didn't talk much with people, and she saw how the woman panicked just by approaching her. It was with really slow time and a picture of Lagrange Point that Emille took Kazue to talk to her and with that she gained the trust of the store's owner slowly, nowadays they were so close that she would get calls of the older one if she didn't appear on the store at all, and some recurring clients, if they didn't find Kazue, would pay to their orders to Emille herself. So with this plan of Mari going on, she didn't know what exactly would happen and she didn't feel like disappearing and leaving the poor owner worried.
"An Idol duo?" Was everything the black haired one could say after the explanation
"Yes, I don't know how it'll go, so… If I don't appear for some time, this may be the reason…"
"... You could make your reunions here…"
"We'll surely do!" Mille said patting the shorter's hair and turned back to Mari "So. Let's get down to business."
Being an idol required a lot of things: dance skills, vocal practices, even some clothing design was required to get the audience attention. Help was needed and it was urgent. Thankfully, a lot of her friends sympathized with the cause of Mari and decided to help them on getting everything ready. The first step was getting vocal and dance practices so they could get better on the main stuff that idols did. Help came from Mille's best friend, Akuseru, who kindly offered to be their manager and make their schedules don't conflict with their school. Akuseru was quite the nice and kind guy, and for the luck of the girls he happened to met someone more than special for this task.
An Idol's sibling that knew as much as the idol themselves, Megurine Luki. He was the one who taught his little sister how to sing, dance and have the confidence of an international diva, and his efforts on helping her showed as now DIVINE-DIVA was one of the most known groups in Japan, and his sister, Megurine Luka, was almost the international diva that she aimed to be. Luki didn't bother with fame, he liked to live his quiet life taking care of the family cafe, Akuseru was actually one of his employees and once he told his boss about two girls who knew nothing about singing and dancing wanting to be the next idol generation, he put back his heels and opened a season of practices for them.
The classes of Megurine Luki weren’t the most easy ones, and he was an exigent teacher, however with time and patience the girls were able to get the handle of the dances and vocal practices.
Second step was given to a friend of both Akuseru and Mille, Will. An exceptional on marketing who started to divulge his friend  through the internet as well as with some pamphlets.
With their help and talking with Luki, they all worked on the outfit designs. He worked hard to make the most beautiful and charming outfits for the duo to which Mille complained for being “Too exposing”, but he didn’t care. He put her on the outfits anyway.
In two months, everything was settled, and so they debuted.
Starlight Pop, was the name of the group that they came up with. The image of the two all over the internet was something that Emille would never think it would come to happen, but if people were happy with their song and if their song would actually help Mari, maybe she could get used to it.
People from her college, people at the cafe, even at the building they would stop her to ask “Hey, Isn’t that you in this picture?” and as much she was happy they were getting a lot of traction, but at the same time the brown haired girl missed the peaceful life where people simply forgot about her because she was next to a white wall and couldn’t be seen.
Oh, and the cafe… The Blue Moon Cat Cafe… She missed the days where she just could sit there and pat the cats till she felt relaxed and then she would pat Kazue and get even more relaxed… But now a good part of her day was all about practicing…
Marianne was quite enjoying it. All boys were interested on talking with her from time to time, as well as a bunch of girls! However, the plan was slow and everyday she came back home, the happiness of her idol life disappeared as felt the empty house slowly taking over her thoughts of Shunsuke.
The results were slow. Too slow. And this was bothering her.
It was one of those days she asked Luki for a day off, Emille was confused by she agreed and both spent the day on the cat cafe where Mari had spent twenty minutes crying over her friend. It was good, she had the attention, boys were coming to her, girls were coming to her, but her brother? He still had to be the one working until later hours to pay for his debt.
Kazue seeing the despair of the pink haired girl came close to her friend and gave Mari a small cup with hot cocoa on it. She took a deep breath holding Mille's pale hand as she tried to speak.
"Maybe… There is something… Missing…" her faint voice made the blue eyes of Mari look to her as if she awaited for an answer “Maybe… A Duo isn’t what you need…”
“What are you talking about, Kazue?” Mille also stared Kazue for some long minutes until she finally started to talk.
“What if… I entered in the group…?”
“WHAT?!”

Yo who’s ready for Kotori’s dad / Kotori’s early life hcs~ ( even though no one asked for them and nothing really prompted this whatsoever )?? Well I am, because I haven’t really talked about him or that, so let’s go! ( After a year of slowly writing these down; literally a year I’m not joking on this )
Shunsuke Minami = Kotori’s dad!
Photography/graphic design major going to the same university as Kotori’s mother. They met in philosophy class and became study buddies, then over their college years they grew closer and started dating, trying to set up classes around one another to get the most time together possible. They married after they both graduated with Masters, Kotori’s mom 22 years old whilst Kotori’s dad was 23.
He was 25 when they had Kotori. Shunsuke was working as a freelance photographer; Kotori’s mom was a 2nd year literature teacher at Otonokizaka High School.
Both jobs paid a fair enough amount for them to buy a house ( moving right next Honoka’s bakery/home so Kotori’s mom could still stay close to her childhood best friend, and so both of them could give their daughter’s playdates ) and they started their suburban life together as a family of 3. Kotori’s father takes pictures of the bakery and chats up both of the Kousakas and basically makes flyers and a small website for them, wanting to do it free of charge but Honoka’s dad pays him anyways. And so the parents become fast friends.
And Kotori’s initial upbringing is basically filled with prosperity. She has loving and supportive parents, and already has such a great childhood friend right next door. There’s always food on the table, and she finds out she basically likes most food, and the house is always warm and filled with laughs and life. She gets a bit pampered because her mother slowly moves up in income because the school board is really impressed with her work, while her dad earns a steady income with the occasional big bucks on photo-shoot jobs. Kotori and her mom go on location with him on weekends if they’re allowed to, and Kotori even got to be in a children’s magazine once when she was 4 because the publishers thought she fit the spring theme perfectly. And Kotori’s father took so many photos of Kotori’s childhood, so if asked Kotori could probably bring you a whole binder or two of pictures of her and her family, a few of the photos even used in her father’s professional portfolio.
The spring photo shoot Kotori was in brought him and his family a bit more popularity, and by age 5 Kotori was in two more additions of the same children’s magazine, and Kotori’s father was hired onto the magazine full time while also being allowed to do some freelance work if it fit with his schedule. Here was where Kotori probably gained her love for fashion too, helping even the older kids arrange their outfits in just the right way, and giving the fashion designers there some pretty good advice that everyone was a bit impressed. No one could be more impressed than her parents though, who started to let her learn a tiny bit of sewing and let her have complete free will over her wardrobe, wondering if this was the start of a modeling or a fashion future for their daughter.
And her father stayed working at the magazine for a year and never felt better about the study flow of work, Kotori’s mother was named teacher of the year at Otonokizaka and was getting more attention by the school board due to her dedication and leadership skills in school meetings, and Kotori herself was as happy as a little girl could be. The sun was shining so brightly on the family...
Until the next summer.
Kotori’s father was doing an all day shoot at the beach for a clothing company’s summer teen line. All the kids and photographers were having fun all day and night, even playing with Kotori when she and her mom visited just a few hours before. But during nighttime a pair of models had started to argue and one of the girls ran off in tears into town. Kotori’s dad helped a few of the other models start to look for the girl, and he found her a couple of blocks away, sulking on the sidewalk near a convenience store. When he tried to console her she cussed him out; when he tried to approach her she flipped out, and when he got closer, saying that maybe it’d be best if they just went back to the beach to talk, she ran. First on the sidewalk, but then taking a sharp turn onto the street to lose him. But Kotori’s father was keeping an eye on traffic just in case the girl fell over, and he caught a glimpse of what the girl wasn’t aware of: A sedan, headlights off, drunkenly speeding down the road. With only a split second to think, Kotori’s dad had pushed the girl to the other side of the road, feet wanting to run after her but slipping on the asphalt ---
The model got a sprained ankle and a skinned knee. Kotori and her mother got condolences, new simple black dresses, and bribe money from the clothing company and from the model’s family so that they wouldn’t sue or spread bad words about what happened. Kotori’s mother wouldn’t even dream of doing something like that, even sitting down with the model before the funeral to talk things out and give back her family’s money...But she couldn’t help pocketing the company money, worried they might have to rely on it for a bit for expenses.
And after the event, Honoka was much more present in Kotori’s life whilst her mother was distant, wanting her daughter to be happy away from her grief. The Kousakas understood that, Kotori herself understood the situation quickly, but it didn’t emotionally hit her until her 7th birthday that September when her father wasn’t bringing out the cake with her mother. It sent her into a crying fit that modern Kotori kind of regrets and doesn’t like looking back on, the timing and thinking of the way her mother probably felt seeing that making her chest tighten with guilt. That event also partially contributed to her growing more attentive and putting others’ feelings first while hiding her own ( though since my main verse Kotori is S2 and through all of the interactions she’s had over the years, she’s a bit more open with how she feels about certain things ). Kotori would probably never bring up her father unless asked, and she probably wouldn’t go into details about him unless she’s comfortable enough with the person and the timing felt right.
As little asides, these events are probably also why Kotori’s mother has wanted her daughter to reach for any opportunity but also follow her true feelings and her own path, kind of noted by the small talk they have in S1. And also why Kotori is one of the most natural and comfortable with photo shoots ( i.e. the SIF cards and random threads that involve photo shoots ) having the experiences with her father, and also very gracious with photography staff, bringing along waters and snacks for them in case they need them.

Many eyebrows were raised when China international Wu Lei traded Shanghai SIPG and the Chinese Super League for Spain's La Liga outfit RCD Espanyol in January.
In an exclusive interview with Xinhua, the striker said that he had received other offers to play in Europe, but accepted Espanyol's because he was impressed by the way the club worked. Wu said that Espanyol had compiled three years' worth of reports and technical analysis, and this persuaded him to make the move.
Although many were taken by surprise by his arrival in Spain, Wu is convinced he made the right choice.
The Barcelona-based club previously had two Japanese players on its books, but neither Akinori Nishizawa nor Shunsuke Nakamura adapted well to life in La Liga during their brief spells at the club.
Wu admitted to having doubts over how the fans would accept him, given that no Chinese footballer has previously been successful in Spain, but he quickly won over both teammates and fans with his work ethic.
"I am happy that the fans like me and the rest of the team has helped me to adapt and their friendship has helped me quickly fit in," Wu noted.
Wu's arrival has raised Espanyol's international profile, and it is now common to see several Chinese journalists in the stadium's press box. The player knows that every move he makes is watched closely in his homeland as well as in Spain.
"I'm not going to say there is no pressure, but I understand the desire of Chinese fans, as there is only one Chinese player in the top-five leagues in Europe — and that's me," said the striker who is used to close scrutiny, having played in the CSL and for the national team.
"I am very grateful to the fans in China because they watch games I play in at 2 or 3 in the morning, so they are making a big effort, and I also find it wonderful that a lot of people have bought the shirt with my name and number on it. It's the best thing I've seen since winning titles in China, so I want to do my best in La Liga for the fans," he commented.
Wu made an immediate impact at Espanyol and has so far scored three goals in La Liga, as well as providing assists and forcing a key penalty in a relegation duel against Rayo Vallecano last season.
The striker is now a regular starter for the club, although Wu believes he still needs more time to adapt to the high pace of the game in Spain.
"I have learned a lot, not just in terms of technique and strategy, but about the overall administration of football and its cultural aspects. One day when I am not playing football, I hope to move into coaching or the administrative side of the game," he suggested.

China national team players Elkeson (left) and Wu Lei take part in a training session in Guangzhou, southern Guangdong Province, on Sept 4, 2019, as the team prepares for 2022 World Cup qualifiers. China will take on Maldives in Male on Tuesday.
The forward also believes more Chinese players should follow his example and move abroad in order to improve their game.
Wu said the benefits of playing overseas had been shown by players from Japan and South Korea.
"They have a lot of players in Europe and even though some of them are playing in smaller leagues or not getting regular games, a lot of them are playing well," he explained.
It was a busy summer for Espanyol, with former coach Rubi leaving to join Real Betis after guiding the club to a seventh-place finish last season. Former B-team coach David Gallego was promoted in his place.
Meanwhile, key players such as Mario Hermoso and Borja Iglesias have also moved on, meaning the club started the new campaign with a clean slate and new ideas.
"I speak a lot with the new coach in training, he knows what I can do and he has brought in new tactics which I am working to take on board," Wu revealed.
The new season has begun with Espanyol assuring itself of a place in the group stage of the Europa League — but three La Liga matches have brought no goals and just one point, with flat displays on the back of matches in Europe.
"That will be a new challenge for us. We will have to play twice a week from September to December and that is an intense calendar that I have never experienced before, but fortunately we have enough players for the coach to be able to rotate the squad," Wu said.
As well as mixing domestic and European competition, Wu also has to face some long flights to and from China as he returns to the national team, but he says that is not a problem — just the opposite.
"It's an honor and my obligation to play for China in those games," he said, adding that he is optimistic that China can qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

How The YTTD Group Would Form In A Non Death Game AU Headcanon’s
- Sara, Joe, Anzu, and Ranmaru all meet through school and become fast friends, starting their group.
- As a meeting place after school, they begin to hang out in the parking lot of the local convenience store. Joe notices that the same worker is always scheduled and tries to befriend him. Shin, who’s the worker, is confused on why Joe is so adamant to be friends, but is so bored during his slow shift he goes along with it. He’s the group’s big brother figure before long.
- Being around the teens pushes Shin to question his parents about his adopted sibling. They tell Shin about Kanna, and he reaches out to her on social media admitting to being her older brother. They bond quickly, and Kanna starts hanging out with Shin at the store after school along with her best friend Hinako. They meet the teens and quickly adopt them as sibling figures.
- Speaking of sibling figures, since this is a no-death game, AU Kai works for Sara’s family as a simple chef instead of a bodyguard. He regards Sara as his younger sister and often drives to the convince store to pick her up for supper. Kai feeds the other kids most nights too. One day he meets Shin and takes one look at him, and goes, “I look into your eyes and see a man who has eaten ramen every day for a week straight. Come with me, and I’ll get you some real food.”. Kai insists that Shin comes over for dinner, and Shin’s not going to turn down free food, so he agrees and brings Kanna and Hinako with him. Kai and Shin become fast friends. Both glad to have another adult to talk to with the gaggle of children they watch.
- Joe is a big fan of the band of the band Samurai Yaiba and finds out they’re playing a venue near him. He takes all his friends with him and brings Shin and Kai as chaperones. They all enjoy the music, and think the two lead’s, Reko and Alice, have cool outfits. The venue is very relaxed and after the show Reko and Alice hang out by the door to sign autographs and meet the group that way. They all hit it off really well and start hanging out.
- Alice has been in a bit of trouble for perma borrowing a few video games. And by trouble, I mean Keiji caught him stealing and half heartedly told him to put it back. Getting caught at all freaked Alice out and he caused such a scene Keiji had to calm him down. They became friends after that, and Keiji started coming to a lot of their shows. When he see’s Alice and Reko striking it up with the group he comes over and introduces himself, also becoming fast friends with everyone.
- The group starts going to all their shows together, and one day after a particularly tiring one, they get hungry and stop by a local bakery. Inside they first meet Mai, who's quick to swap cooking tips with Kai. But then Joe starts freaking out about a guy in the corner. When they turn to see what's gotten into him, they see the semi-famous baseball player Q-Taro and a young boy in a cat cape. Q-Taro goes to the bakery after every game to relax, and he's excited to get recognized by the others and starts up a conversation while Gin talks with Kanna and Hinako. Mai joins the conversation out of interest of what it’s like to be a famous ballplayer.
- Gin met Q-Taro because he saw him practicing baseball and thought he was cool. He started hanging around Q-Taro and Taro was like “Well, guess I have a son now.”.
- One day the teens get a substitute teacher along with his teaching assistant. Mishima and Nao are some of the best educators  the teens have ever had, and they approach them after school about tutoring. Which leads Mishima and Nao to meet the other adults.
- Naomichi and Shunsuke are unlikely friends. Shunsuke works at a medical supply office and meet Naomichi when he was looking for something to treat a wrist sprain. They became fast friends. One day they see a large crowd of people cheering and stop to see what all the fuss is about, only to see a ball game Q-Taro’s playing in. Through a red string of platonic fate they end up sitting right next to the group who came to the game to cheer their friend on.
- From there on everyone becomes a found family.
