I was already not feeling great about myself this morning but then I got my daily kudos email and I had another flood of kudos on one of my one shots. ever since that post I saw about how there are these like fanfic book club discords happening, I can’t unsee it when it looks like one of mine is getting circulation. and, I dunno, there’s something particularly painful about lying in bed feeling like a lump of irreparable sentient trash while a group of people talk about how much they love your writing and what I means to them in a place you can’t see it/even really know it’s happening.

i never paid much attention during health class (it was basically just abstinence) but for years I thought PMS stood for Period Monthly Cycle.

When I told my sister about the symptoms and all that she was like how do you not know this lol.

Pre-menstrual depression is always depicted as like "He He! I had a box of icecream bars and cried while watching the Titanic!" But in reality, it's more like, "I'm standing the edge of an abyss. There is nothing good inside of me, I'm filled with rage and desperation."

It's crazy that being told how to deal with that is never a part of anyone's menstrual sex education.
