Thank GOD one of the deaths finally took. Like I’m impressed at whatever rolls these guys must have been getting in the actual campaign (I’m just assuming broad strokes of the show match the campaign but maybe there have been material deviations for the sake of story). But eventually one of the character deaths had to actually stick — narrative tension was getting too slack from a pure spectator’s view.

#its weird watching this as a narrative without any knowledge of the underlying campaign #so im trying not to judge it too much for narrative cohesion or character arcs bc its a shared role playing story #And not like carefully crafted narratives and arcs by a writers room pulling in the same direction #m watches tlovm #i know very little about CR outside of fandom osmosis #so credit to Matt Mercer as a DM genuinely that this all works
