Im on my way to work again but I am having thoughts again (dangerous i know).
When I orginally went out to write my part 3 SI fic I was like, fuck it reverse harem for ME I deserve it. And while everyone has definitely had doki doki with Syd, I feel like I've been sleeping a little on Kakyoin.
He really was the first one to really trust her! Syd joins the gang right after Steely Dan/The Lovers, and the sun is like... not even a real fight, so the first stand user that shes really there for is Manish Boy and Death 13.
Death 13's gimmic doesn't really work on her, because Love Club is out litterally all the time (rip pur girl who has poor control of her stand 😔). Dio has already sent the message out to explicitly not kill her (and to do as little harm as possible), so he ends up silencing her.
Its a frustrating spot to be in, knowing exactly who the stand user is but being unable to convey that because you 1) cant speak and 2) no one really trusts you yet (or worse, just dont belive/think you don't understand.)
So the relief Syd felt when Kakyoin believed her-- mostly, because he mutilated himself, but-- still, he believed her even when she had nothing to prove her claims besides her lack of voice.
Its just really important to me... to be thrust into a world of stand battles and running, wondering what use you can bring to this group when you can't even fight yourself-- and be presented with the perfect opportunity to help, only to be shot down. Its just makes me AAA you know???
Even if only she and Kak remember, its important to me :)
#sydney speaks#self shippin thoughts#ive been thinking about them a lot lately#i know this is reverse harem fic#but im kinda caught on who syd should end with#and lately Kakyoin has been making a good case for himself!!!#they're just very similar#i have the next few days off#and ive been revising the fic... should add more moments with him#AND Avdol#sksks Joseph even got a moment#ill post about that another time but#essentially i decided we should all fight alessi bc his stand effect fun

hello there! I would love to read any of your thoughts/fics about Cal and/or Danny!
OR?! I could never pick between them, but for the sake of introductions let's start with thoughts because the fics are coming don't you worry. They just need a little fine tuning
Teeny thoughts/HCs for both below the cut (it's yap central up in here)🥰
Cal
I'm so obsessed with the way he talks, like absolutely entranced by his cadence and I love every scene of him telling some story. and I know that he'd know that, maybe not right away but eventually he'd recognize the look you give him around the bonfire while he's talking to the group is the same one you give him late in the evening close to the final page of your date nights. OH MY GOD!
when you find out he speaks french! i'm woozy just thinking about it, (i don't even care that i can't understand quebecois for the life of me) you'd ask him to say something to you just so you could hear the sound of it. even if he's gotten a little rusty since he hasn't has anyone to speak it with, and even if all he can recite are the few stories he remembers from his childhood, or motorcycle parts he's learned from the translations on the back of manuals. like a late night and you cant sleep and you just want the sound of his voice to relax to...he might not totally understand the attraction, but he's not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and if you're into it who is he to deny you such a simple wish?
and I don't think he'd be the type to be one of those "my old ball and chain" guys, like he's undoubtedly in love with you and in love with being around you as often as possible. so if you're home while he's working in the garage he's setting up a lawn chair for you to relax in, just to keep him company, if the weather's nice he's putting it out in the sun for you and if it's a little too hot he sets you up in the shade with a little cooler with whatever the two of you are into that week. and he's certainly not letting you lift a finger. not because he thinks you'll break something (which like you might, but who am i to judge) but because he doesn't want you getting grease all over your outfit or roughing up those soft, pretty hands of yours. he just wants your company
Danny
for right now in this moment, i'm all over the idea of being his "girl back home" like he's out in chicago with all these bikers getting into god knows what kind of trouble, while you're safe at home just thinking about him every hour of every day. of course he calls whenever he gets the chance, but it's never a sure thing with the amount of time he spends out on the longer runs. and long distance calls are expensive, but every time he does it's so precious. the few times you hear some new midwestern phrase or pronunciation slip in and get a few extra seconds on the call just to poke a little more fun at him.
the guys get ahold of his wallet one day and can't believe he's kept you a secret this long. 3 different pictures of you sit in the accordion folded holder between the fold of his wallet and he thanks god for the feeling he got that morning he should change the ones he had in before (much more,,,invigorating if you will), for these three that he brought with him too, just to be sure he can see all your different expressions every time he reaches into his back pocket.
AND WHEN YOU COME TO VISIT!! at first he's not so sure it's the best idea, worrying you won't like the guys or something might happen once you're there, but all that is secondary the moment he thinks about how long it's been since he's last seen you, and before he knows it he's calling you back and taking you up on that offer to get a week off of work and coming to see him. Once you're there he's not leaving your side for a minute, firstly because he feels the need to let everyone else know you're his (and that you are real, as much as Zipco and Wahoo tried to get him to admit to the pictures in his wallet being magazine clippings because what's a girl like you doing with a pinko "college-boy" like him) and second because he's missed you so much for so long and he doesn't know the next time you'll be back so he's getting every second he can with you
and oh goodness are you impressed with this new look he's adopted. so different from what he used to wear to class or out walking around the city together, but still it fits him so well. your knees almost give out the 3rd day of your visit when he comes out from his bedroom in a black tank top and his denim vest...and maybe you do feign heat exhaustion just so he'll take you home early on the back of the bike he's spent so many phone calls telling you about...just because the heat was a more internal kind doesn't mean it's any less real. or maybe the exhaustion was just that you were getting tired of seeing him look that hot without doing anything about it. either way he hasn't seen you pull him up his apartment stairs that fast since you first started dating
and not maybe, but certainly, your trip goes from one week to two to a month until the tragic reality of responsibility sinks in and you realize you really are running out of clothes...
#PuhLEEEEEASE tell me if anyone wants more#my fingers itch to type#my mind yearns to let your visions come to fruition#also#i'm so sorry...i'm too connectican#i don't know what else to call new york besides “the city”#like “where are you going for that concert?” “the city”#that's a real conversation#anyway#i love them#let me marry all of them please#reverse harem except i'd want them to share each other too#mara’s mumblings#mara's fics#mara's anons#the bikeriders#cal the bikeriders#cal x reader#danny lyon x reader#mike faist x reader#boyd holbrook x reader#the bikeriders x reader#the bikeriders fanfiction

A lil oneshot that I'm thinking might become the start of an ongoing fic? We'll see.
Pairing: (HT Sans/reader) with hints of (UT Papyrus/reader)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Build Up My Heart
It’s fucking hot.
You wipe the sweat off your brow and sigh, looking at all the work you and your team accomplished today. You’ve finally finished the framing for the guest house this family of… rather odd skeletons, have hired you to build. And you understand why.
This already large, cabin-like home is practically overflowing with them.
In your time here, you’ve counted at least twelve.
Twelve people. In one home that, yes, is large, but can’t hold more than maybe five or six bedrooms.
It’s a wonder they haven’t ripped each other’s heads off - you’ve overheard a fight or two when you’ve taken your lunch on the lawn… and man do some of them argue.
When you first started working here, you swore you were going crazy. Almost every time you saw one of them it was one you’ve never seen/met before. Yet they all seem to look alike in some way, though you’ve kept that to yourself. Maybe that’s just how it is for skeleton monsters, who are you to say something ignorant like that?
Sans and Papyrus, the two skeletons you’ve spoken with the most, have been patient with every setback this project has had, though you can almost see the exhaustion in their sockets every time they pop over to talk progress. Makes you wonder if they’re the “peacekeepers” of the home.
But, then again, you suppose you shouldn’t be wondering too much. You’re just here to work, get the job done, and eventually move on to the next. Which will likely be another cookie cutter house in a subdivision.
… you’ll admit, though, that you’re going to miss seeing some of the wacky things they do.
And seeing that absolutely gorgeous garden of theirs.
It’s basically your dream. It packs an impressive variety of fruits and vegetables all neatly growing in raised garden beds. Marigolds are scattered about, likely to keep pests away, and there’s much more flowers where that came from - all of which look happy and content if their blooms are anything to go by. Whoever planned the garden, took convenience into account as well. An array of herbs grow right behind the decorative arch to the entrance of the garden. Just in case anyone just needs to grab a quick little something for a recipe.
Stars, you’d love to trade your apartment windowsill, grown out of an old milk jug, herbs for a lovely stroll to this garden. Who wouldn’t?
It also has a line of fruit trees lining the north side of the garden, likely so as not to block the sunshine. Whether those were here when they purchased the land and they planned the garden around it, or not, you wouldn’t doubt that whoever planned this garden would have the foresight for that.
Currently, ripe peaches hang from one tree, and apple blossoms grow on another. Makes you wonder what the other two trees produce, but they must not be in season at the moment with their bareness.
As if all that wasn’t enough, they also topped off this garden with strewn lights, stone pathways, and goofy gnomes.
A garden like this looks like a full time job, yet you’ve never seen who tends to it. You’ve seen some of the household members pick from it, but never who makes sure the weeds stay away, or who manages the more sensitive plants.
You wonder who it is.
“Hey, didn’t ya hear?” A voice calls you from your thoughts. You pry your gaze away from the garden and meet your coworker’s gaze. “It’s quittin’ time.”
“Yeah, I heard.” You confirm, slipping your gloves off. Not that those gloves protect your hands from the rough calluses littering your palms, but they do help them feel less sore at the end of the day. “The boss wants me to meet with those skeletons to go over the next step.” You thank whatever is up there that you actually have an excuse for your daydreaming this time.
“Right, I forgot that you’re a bigwig supervisor now.” He teases. You roll your eyes, that title hardly means anything yet. “Well, we’re all meetin’ at Al’s for drinks, if ya wanna join later.”
You would rather not.
“We’ll see, thanks Ron.” You neither accept nor decline. He gives somewhat of a salute before slipping away with the rest of the bunch.
Slipping your hardhat off, you await the arrival of your boss, scrolling on your phone in the meantime. It’s not long until you hear the rumble of his truck pulling up, and you quickly pocket the device in your hands.
Out hops Ted, clipboard in hand and that aggravating smile on his face.
He’s nice enough, but something about him has always felt a little fake. However, playing nice with the boss was what got you this promotion, so you’re not about to jeopardize that now. Waving you over, he greets the skeleton brothers who approach him rather quickly. Must have been waiting just like you. Eager wouldn’t begin to explain how much they want this project to move along.
You catch the tail end of greetings, shaking both Sans and Papyrus’ hands as you’re formally introduced (though, you’ve already had multiple conversations with them while working). Your boss cracks some jokes that you half laugh along to, before he finally gets down to business. Listening intently, and chiming in when necessary, you learn what you already knew. Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc. needs to happen before you and your team can continue. It’ll be contracted out, yadda yadda yadda.
Just as you’re beginning to think you have no reason to be a part of this conversation, it’s… over. Yeah that was a waste of a half hour, though you suppose you may be giving clients this talk at some point so it’s likely important to hear.
Ted wraps things up, shakes their hands again, and takes his leave. Sans slips away after that, claiming that he has something that he needs to get back to. You almost follow and take your leave as well, but Papyrus, who’s always been more social, gets you pausing.
“WELL, HUMAN, I SUPPOSE WE WON’T BE SEEING YOU FOR A LITTLE BIT.” He says. You’ve long since gotten used to his loud voice. You smile.
“Gonna miss me that bad?” You tease. Oddly enough, a light flush of orange rises to his cheekbones. Interesting
“W-Well… I ALWAYS ENJOY OUR TALKS WHEN I BRING OUT WATER.” He blurts. Ah, yes, the water. Ultimately unneeded, but very much appreciated.
“It’ll be a few weeks, at most.” You remind him. He beams at that.
“YES, I SUPPOSE YOU’RE RIGHT.” He agrees. It warms your heart that he seems to care even that much. It’s not often homeowners even talk to you and your crew, let alone be as kind as Papyrus has been. “WELL, YOU’VE HAD A LONG DAY, I WON’T KEEP YOU.”
You check your watch and wince.
“Yeahhh… I still got to run to the store to get some tomatoes for this recipe I’m making, so I should-”
“WE HAVE TOMATOES!” Papyrus all but blurts. You blink up at him. That orange flush is back.
Huh.
“We U-Uh… WE HAVE THAT GARDEN, I’M SURE YOU’VE SEEN IT!” You tilt your head at his words, not wanting to assume where he’s going with this - he is a client after all. “WE HAVE PLENTY, YOU SHOULD PICK SOME AND SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP.”
At any other jobsite, you’d have quickly refused… but something about his hopeful smile and genuinity of the offer has you softening like butter. Plus… you’d get to see that beautiful garden up close.
“You sure? I don’t want to overstep…”
“POSITIVE! I THINK BEAR IS IN THE GARDEN RIGHT NOW, HE COULD SHOW YOU WHERE THEY’RE PLANTED!”
“Bear?” You ask, wracking your brain for which skeleton he’s referring to. You haven’t been introduced to many of them.
“YOU HAVEN’T MET HIM.” Papyrus says with absolute certainty. “HE AVOIDS TENDING TO IT WHEN YOU GUYS ARE HERE WORKING.”
Oh.
“Well, are you sure he’ll want me wandering in there, then?”
“OH, I’M SURE HE’LL BE ALRIGHT WITH IT, HE JUST… HAS TROUBLE SOCIALLY. HE’S NICE, THOUGH.”
You hesitate. This Bear obviously enjoys gardening in the peace and quiet, who are you to interrupt that? However… it’s nearing 7pm and you’re ravenous. A trip to the store sounds like torture.
As if sensing your dilemma, Papyrus pivots, placing a hand on your shoulder and urges you back around the house. “I’LL GO WITH YOU, TO ASSURE YOU ALL IS WELL.” You just nod and follow along, both because it feels like nothing you do will change his mind, and because of your selfish desire to just get done with this day sooner.
Your workboots sink into the plush clover lawn as you both make your way across the backyard to the garden. Your eyes are captured once again, by said garden, and you almost don’t notice the rather large skeleton tending to the flowerbeds in towards the front until Papyrus speaks from across the short fencing.
“BEAR, IS IT ALRIGHT IF MY FRIEND HERE PICKS SOME TOMATOES?”
You look to where Papyrus is speaking, and the first thing you see is the gaping hole in this skeleton’s head.
Holyfuckisheokay?? How-
You look to Papyrus in concern, but see him just… smiling down at you? Confused, you look back to this skeleton, crouched behind a garden bed and lock eyes (eye?) with the bloated, bright red eye-light filling the socket that isn’t scarred from his head wound. You… can’t tell what he’s thinking, with that blank expression of his.
But seeing as this is apparently normal for him, you’re now worried you’ve offended the guy.
Maybe magic helps monsters survive the seemingly unsurvivable? It’s not like he has any internal organs in his skull… maybe that’s why-
You’re pulled from your thoughts as this apparent behemoth stands up.
Oh.
Oh my.
You’re beginning to understand why he’s called ‘Bear’. He’s certainly a bear in every sense of the word. Large, imposing, intimidating… and did you mention huge?? Now, you aren’t small. You’ve kept up in construction for almost a decade now and it shows… but you still feel like a twig, craning your neck to look up at him.
However, the dirt covered overalls he’s wearing, definitely takes away from some of his initial intimidating demeanor.
“... sure.” He rumbles, blank expression still giving no clue to where his mind is.
Holy fucking baritone-
Papyrus pats you on the back and beams at Bear.
“THANK YOU! I’M GOING TO START ON DINNER, OKAY?” You numbly nod, trying to force your thoughts away from where they want to go. “SEE YOU IN A FEW WEEKS, HUMAN!” Tearing your eyes away from Bear, you wave back to Papyrus and watch him retreat into the home. You wait until he’s inside to take in what you hope is a subtle deep breath.
You about leap into the air, when you turn around and find Bear right behind you, at the entrance of the garden. Clutching your chest, you remind yourself to relax. How’d he get there? And so quietly, too…
And you swear you see this giant quirk the smallest of smiles at your jumpiness.
He thinks he’s funny, huh? Asshole.
You stare up at him, flushing and definitely not pouting. “Ah, uh, thanks for letting me steal some tomatoes, you’re saving me a trip to the store.” You decide to be polite. After all, you were the one to gawk first, perhaps you deserved a bit of payback.
He just grunts.
And you both just… stand there. After a few moments of silence, you speak up.
“So… where are they?” You inquire, glancing around at what you can see of the garden, but it’s hard when you have a seven foot wall of solid skele-man right in front of you.
“where are… what?” He asks.
You tilt your head. He just said…
“The tomatoes?” You try, maybe he spaced out when Papyrus asked him if it was okay… and when you just mentioned them a second ago?
He seems to recall something, if the twitch of his bone brows are to say much. Nodding, he turns and lumbers through the rows of flowerbeds. Assuming that’s an invitation for you to follow, you rush to fall into step behind him and his large strides… but, you quickly fall behind as you start to admire the garden’s beauty up close. Your steps slow as you stroll past the growing cauliflower plants. These can be incredibly hard to grow… how did he…?
You gingerly touch one of the leaves, and look up to Bear, who’s stopped and turned to look at what’s keeping you.
“How do you get these to grow so well?” You ask, smiling excitedly at him. He blinks, large shoulders relaxing a bit, as if he was expecting you to ask something else.
He reaches into his overall pocket, and slips out what looks like a very well-loved notebook. You watch curiously, but patiently as he opens it and flips through it. You’re unsure what the notebook has to do with his answer but you’re willing to wait and find out.
He pauses on a page and looks back to you, seeming to ponder something before deciding ‘fuck it’, as he approaches you and hands the book to you. It’s got various dirt stains, and some pages have been taped back in where they’ve come loose, so you treat it with care as you take it from his grasp. And there, on the page you see notes in small, neat handwriting. Research notes, with drawings and everything. The topic being the little cauliflower plant you’re standing next to.
Some of it seems to just be information taken from the internet and put in short form, while others seems to be from actual trial and error. You skim his writing, noticing that he’s scratched some things out but towards the end, he seems to have figured out the perfect schedule for the plant to thrive.
You’re tempted to flip through the book and read more, but you refrain. That seems like an invasion of privacy.
“Wow, that’s really cool that you go as far to take all these notes. You must really enjoy this, huh?” You ask, handing it back to him. He stares at it in his hands for a moment, before putting it back in his pocket.
He just nods.
“Not much of a talker?” You tease lightheartedly, trying to see if you can get any sort of… anything out of this guy other than blank staring and slightly intimidating silence.
He shrugs, and turns back around, leading you again.
But you’re not done.
“You’ve really built something beautiful here, ya know?” You continue. He just keeps walking. “This is amazing! It could almost be considered a small farm! Though, I guess with all your housemates to feed, it’s just a garden, huh?”
Still no answer, but you swear he starts walking a little faster if the way you have to almost jog to keep up is anything to go by.
“The flowers too? Man, this must be a full time job that, I’ll be honest, I’m a little jealous of! I’d be in here all day if I was able to! This is absolutely gorgeous, Bear! Do you take care of this all by yourself? You really have a talent, I hope you know that.”
Suddenly Bear stops, leaving you to walk right into his back… which given his height means you faceplant right into his spine. He barely budges, yet the force of it knocks you on your butt. You grunt and rub at your smarting nose. Damn, this dude is solid.
His red light stares down at you, from the corner of his good socket. He doesn’t apologize, or offer you a hand, just simply points to the tomato plant in front of him.
“... tomato.” He mutters, then takes his leave, stepping over your sprawled legs and heading back to the flower bed he was working on.
… huh, you could’ve sworn, you saw the faintest hints of blue on his cheekbones.
Chuckling to yourself, and once again, thinking that these skeletons are silly, you pick yourself up and dust off your pants. Not that. You really need to dust off your already dirty work clothes, but it feels right.
You lean over the tomato plants in question, finding quite a little variety in the garden bed. Roma, cherry, black krim, campari - and those are just the ones you can name. Dinner in this house must be full of all the most delicious, fresh produce.
Once again, you’re a little jealous.
You pick a few ripe and tasty looking romas, and call it good. While you’d love to experiment with some of the others, this was a kind offer from a friend and given to you by an acquaintance, you’re not about to take advantage of either of them. Holding your goods protectively to you, you wander back to the entrance of the garden, where Bear is once again knelt in front of one of the flowerbeds, tugging at some stubborn looking weeds.
He glances at you as you approach him. You hold up your three tomatoes and grin at him. “Thank you for these, you saved me a trip to the store!” A nod is all you get. “And… speaking of the store, I feel bad just taking these, I have cash?”
That gets him to fully turn his skull to look at you, and you take that as a yes.
“This is about a pound, I’d say, so how about I just give you an even $5?” You offer. Yet again, he just stares.
“... I mean I can look up how much it is at the store or you can give me a price too, if you’d rather…” You ramble, feeling a little awkward under that stare of his. You just met the guy today, and he’s proving to be extremely hard to read.
You’re about to just reach into your pocket and pull out a $10 (way too much, but you’d pay anything to get out of this awkward silence), when your stomach growls rather loudly. His stare moves to your belly.
“Ah, uh, yeah it’s dinner time, huh?” You try to joke it off. His light flits back to your face, and finally, he just waves you off.
“... You don’t want money?” You ask tentatively. He shakes his head.
“... go home.” He rumbles, yet his tone isn’t rude, “go eat.” He adds. Your shoulders release tension you didn’t even quite realize was there and the awkwardness finally fading, and you offer him a grateful smile.
“Thank you, it’s been a long day. I really appreciate it.”
He hums.
“... and I hope you know you don’t have to wait until our team leaves to tend to your garden. This is your home, we’re just working here.”
He raises a skele-brow at your words, looking unimpressed as he gestures to the sizable hole in his skull. You hold back a wince as you remember your reaction. You know the guys you work with, and you also know that your reaction is probably going to be the most tame one he gets.
“Right… I uh, I’m really sorry for how I reacted, I thought it was a recent injury and I was worried you needed an ambulance or something cause humans can’t survive something like that, but that was really insensitive.” You murmur. His stare seems to slightly soften at that, but you barely notice that as an idea pops in your brain. Instantly, you brighten. “Wait here! I’ve got an idea, I will be right back!”
And with that, you start a careful jog to your old, beat up truck - not wanting to drop your precious produce. Once there, you deposit your small bounty into your upside down hardhat to keep them from rolling around, and then pop open your rather dirt-covered glove department. You’ve never really found the point in cleaning your truck that often when you just dirty it everyday after work. Digging through the mess of papers there, your hands find that knit fabric they were looking for.
“Ah hah!” You exclaim excitedly, closing your vehicle’s door and rushing back around the house to the garden that you left Bear at. He’s since moved on to a different flowerbed, but no amount of kneeling would hide that big frame of his and he’s rather easy to spot because of it.
Hearing the crunches on your loud footsteps in the gravel, he turns, seeming a little surprised that you actually came back.
You hold up the beanie in your hand, grinning at him as you let him connect the dots, it was one of your first crochet projects… and you misread the amount of links you’d need for it, resulting in a beanie that was ridiculously large for your head. You had meant to toss it or take it apart for the yarn, but it found its way into your glove department, and that’s where it’s stayed for almost a year.
However, it seems to be the perfect size for this skeleton giant in front of you.
“Wanna see if it fits?” You ask, stepping closer. In your excitement, you don’t connect the dots that his skull might be a no-touching zone, and reach to slip it on. He quickly leans away from you, eyeing the beanie warily.
“Oh, right. Sorry, here.” You hold it out in an offer. He hesitantly takes it, staring at it for a long moment before glancing up to you. “It’ll stretch, if you’re worried about it catching those edges.” You assure him, not sure how sensitive the area around his injury is, but figuring it’s better safe than sorry.
After a few more moments of silence (that are beginning to feel a little less awkward), he slowly and carefully slips the beanie on his skull. He makes sure to stretch it and hold it a little ways away on his injured side of his skull, and soon it’s sitting nicely on his head.
A perfect fit.
“There! Now it’s hidden!” You say. He tilts his head. “I know it’s not fair that you can’t just waltz out here in broad daylight while we’re here without worrying about feeling judged, but it’s also not fair to have to hole yourself inside and wait until we leave to do your thing. I mean, it’s almost dark and you’ve got a lot more to do, and these string lights only illuminate so much.” You explain.
He nods, slipping it off and moving to hand it back to you, as if he’s not aware it’s a gift.
“Keep it, think of this as a trade for the yummy tomatoes! Plus, I think you look cute in it.” You say, smiling again as you see the slight blue return to his face. “If you decide you don’t like it, feel free to do whatever you’d like with it, it’s not like it’ll fit my head anyways.” You say with a little laugh.
A low rumbling noise escapes Bear. You tilt your head, and it doesn’t click until you see the smile on his face and his shoulders bouncing slightly. He’s chuckling at you.
You ignore the growing warmth on your face at hearing more of that very attractive voice of his, and let out a few little giggles of your own, closing your eyes as you do.
So, you’re none the wiser when Bear slips the beanie off of his head and moves closer to you in that silent way he does. It’s not until he plops the article onto you that you sputter and open your eyes, only to be met with your lashes brushing against the yarn and your vision being hindered by the way the beanie practically reaches the bottom of your nose. Reaching up, you lift it up and find Bear grinning at you.
“... no, it doesn’t… does it?”
He’s making fun of you. Again.
Jokingly pouting, you slip it off and toss it back at him, where it bounces off his chest harmlessly and falls into his lap. He guffaws at that, his little chuckles turning into a deep belly laughter.
It’s infectious, and soon, you’re joining in again.
It’s not until your stomach makes your hunger loudly well known again, that he sobers, looking serious once again.
“... you need… to eat.” He reminds you.
You smile sheepishly, and try not to be too disappointed at having to leave. You were just getting him outta his shell a bit!
“Yeah, I do. Your dinner will be ready soon, too, I bet.” You say, shifting your weight on your feet as you stall just a moment longer. “I uh, hope to see more of you.”
He just stares again, but there’s a sharpness missing in his light.
“Goodnight, Bear.” You say, pivoting to take your leave. He doesn’t say anything right away, and you just assume he won’t, given what you’ve learned about him today.
But as you start to walk back to your truck, you hear a quiet, “goodnight.” from Bear. You smile again, turning to give him a little wave that you don’t see if he returns as you round the corner of the house.
🫶 thanks for responding back! i appreciate all the hard work you’ve planned out for us 🎉 i can’t wait to see more of the darker themes fleshed out at the end of the first part, i will be waiting patiently LOL 👍 in terms of yandere, how bad do you think it will be? what do you have planned in that department?
also i hope you get better soon 😅 please take breaks and certainly take your time!
well ive said that its very mild on the yandere side even later on in the slowburn. its barely yandere more, like... obsession??... at least for the first while. the yandere part is more just there as a warning because I don't want to shock people with the small bit of dark content there will be. i really don't like yanderes that hurt reader (they just don't make sense to me. yandere to me is about having too much love, and you wouldn't hurt someone you loved??) and like,,,, spoiler cut here but like, these are all things that are in the tags/warnings/just information around
i need happy endings. i cant handle even the slightest bit bitter ending it hurts me physically. i am writing a happy ending. it will take grovelling, compromise, and probably fixing the universe but idc. i will uncritically romanticise toxic relationships. i can fix him he can fix me we will fix ourselves for each other. THATS ROMANCE BABEY!!! ITS BEING YOUR BEST SELF BECAUSE YOU LOVE SOMEONE!!! AND YANDERE IS ABOUT LOVE. ITS ABOUT LOVE!!!! ALWAYS LVOE!!!!
#sophie speaks#sophie answers#series:www#i know people want darker content#and like totes respect to that but I'm going to ride the line#we WILL have a happy ending and we WILL have reverse harem ending and I REFUSE TO ACCEPT ANYTHING LESS#YES they will kidnap you NO i don't consider that a dealbreaker. just let me out and say sorry and its fine#i wasnt even sure if id share the fic when I first started writing it#didnt think anyone would like it or its weird jokey/dark/overly sappy/also the weird dynamic all at the same time tone#this is a story about all the parts of life#the good and the bad and the parts you probably shouldn't laugh at but will anyway#im in a bit of a weird place mentally atm. I'm healing and I'm also reverting and I've never experienced dissociation in this form and its.#its confusing. this fic is just meant to be confusing but hopeful. because I'm confused but I'm never not hopeful :)#whatever man if i cant think properly i dont think its really my fault if my silly little fanfiction is too long and wordy and insane#im insane it leaks out#if that wasnt obvious...m
Unhinged idea but the reverse harem autobot series has activated every single neuron in my brain
Imagine if the human was in a harem with the decepticons instead and the autobots want to save them, fearing you were being forced into the decepticon’s love (and totally denying the fact that seeing you naked on camera got their spikes painfully hard)
Giving you free reign other than that because my brain is full of the idea and empty as well AUDJSKDJDJDHF
Keep up the good work man, love your transformer fics !! :3 /pos
-Fae (if that isn’t already taken ofc)
I so need to write more of these
Warnings : GN!Reader, cybertronian language is used as it's mainly from their POV, exhibitionism, noncon voyeurism, noncon recording
Minors do NOT interact! 18+ only
You were spotted by pure accident, in fact it was truly a miricale in the first place anyone outside of the decepticons had seen you, but it was Jazz who raised the alarm that the cons had kidnapped a human that left the autobots fuel lines freezing up.
Out on a casual drive Jazz had spotted Knockout not too far away, the con in a line up ready to street race it seemed, but something was different.
And that something was the cute human sitting in the driver's seat. He managed to radio Prowl, swiftly telling him the situation, but by the time the cop bot arrived you and the con were gone. Which left them arguing the whole way back to base.
informing the others was a whole different matter.
"Why didn't you stop him!?" Ironhide shouts, followed by Prowl agreeing with him.
So much yelling and for what?
"Alright that's enough! Jazz, you did the right thing, you could have put the human's life in danger interfering alone."
"But, Prime-"
"No, Ironhide, we need to save that human frm their clutches, but we can't do that if they are harmed or killed in the crossfires or because Megatron doesn't want to let his 'prize' go."
Ironhide growls under his breathe, angry that Prime is right, even if it means someone innocent is in the decepticons grasp. Your safety is their biggest concern, who knows what the cons are putting you through or even doing to you! Them rushing in head frsit will just put you, and subsequently them, in more danger.
They need to get on that ship and survey the area and situation, then they can go about the safest way of getting you out of there with little damage. Maybe thats how Mirage ended up on the Nemsis, invisible to the decepticons that he was careful to walk around as to not alert them.
He has a live feed right to base, so they can see everything he sees while he looks around, sneaking into room after room, peering in and looking for the little human. After the fifth room he forgets it and walks down the hallway, being sure to move out of the way for any con on patrol.
"This is pointless, if we storm them and take them by surprise we'd get that human out for sure!"
Optimus shakes his head, "Not nessecarily, if we do then one of the cons could grab the human a flee."
Bee huffs, though its a mask to hide the worry he feels watching the footage of Mirage walking through the hallways of the enemies ship, listening to their conversations of Knockout and Breakdown
"Seems lord Megatron isn't too happy."
"Yeah, I wonder whos fault that is."
"Our sweetspark wanted out to walk around, how is that my fault!?"
Our?
Sweetspark?
Optimus doesn't take his optics off the screen, even as the whispers and worried words fill the air behind him.
"Did they take a human for themselves?"
"Oh primus, they are using them as a stress toy! That poor person is probably being tortured!" Bumblebee screeches.
Prowl and Ironhide glare at the screen, muttering under theirs breathes, wanting to beat those decepticons helms in.
Ratchet keeps his optics on the screen, scowl on his face, though he can't lie about the worry eating at his spark. Are you okay? He doesn't know enough about human's fragile bodies, so could he ensure you lived long enough to get to a medic who knew what they were doing?
The room quickly falls silent as a sound grows louder and louder. Heads turn back to the screen, watching as Mirage follows quickly behind shockwave, thankfully still undetected, but the sight that greets them leaves their intakes dropped open.
Megatron, with a servo around you, thrusting his spike as deep as he could make it go.
You're sobbing, overloading, begging for him to slow down.
"Aren't you being a bit rough with them? Surely, humans are too squishy for such treatment." Shockwave spoke, merely walking towards where he left his data pad, as if this was completely normal.
"They like it. Isn't that right, pet?" Megatron grinds his spike into you, smirking as you cry out.
"Yes! Yes! M'sorry I should've asked-fuck! Megatron, please...!" You throw your head back, sobbing as it appears you've overloaded again.
Megatron vents, but his smirk never falters.
"So cute like this, taking my spike like you were meant to."
"I told you humans needed more enrichment, they would not have left with Knockout had you given them things to do while we are all busy."
Megatron's face plate twists into a scowl "Silence, Shockwave, as leader they are my Conjunx Endura first, the rest of the ship is just their...consorts."
Mirage is frozen in his spot, unable to look away from you taking such a massive spike in your little valve, and the other autobots are much the same.
So this is how they are using you? But what Megatron said, they couldn't possibly courted a human, they hate humans! Unless its...no, they'd never go that far, would they?
Hot Rod glances around the room, hoping to not be the only one finding the scene before them hot, but he can't read them.
Maybe it's just him, but seeing your soft body mold to the shape of the spike fragging you so good gets his engines purring.
He shouldn't, this is wrong on so many levels and a complete invasion of privacy. But to see your valve overflowing with transfluid like this, it gets him going.
You whimper, your optics look glazed over as you barely manage to look up at Megatron, who can't help but coo at you.
"Have you learned your lesson, dear?"
You fall limp once more in his hold, though you nearly cry once he pulls you off his spike, letting the transfluid pumped into you drop out.
"I did...I'll ask you next time, I promise."
Megatron chuckles, tenderly rubbing his thumb across your cheek, looking at you in such a loving way.
"Good. Now, I have things to attend to, but since you need so much attention, I'm sure Soundwave wouldn't mind keep you occupied."
The blue mech stands up straighter, moving away from his work station and swiftly goes right passed an unamused Shockwave.
Your gaze meets his red visor, which seems to glow. His servos shaking slightly as he takes you from Megatron, uncaring for his leader and Shockwave to make their exit, leaving him with you.
Mirage, despite his illusion feels as though he's exposed, perhaps now is his chance to leave-
Soundwave doesn't get long with you before Starscream barges in, loudly demanding his Conjunx Endura though Soundwave is not amused.
Just when he was getting his alone time too.
Optimus can't take this anymore, comming Mirage to get out of there now.
"Skyfire, go to the Nemesis and get Mirage."
The large mech jumps at his name being called, his face plate bright blue as he squeaks out a 'ok' and rushes out.
Ironhide is beyond appalled, how could those cons do that to you!? But...oh, oh Primus he wants to hold you down and let you take his spike.
The shared thought among the autobots was 'does their valve feel that good the decepticons are willing to share them?'
But oh they want to find out.
Their spikes are pressing against their modest plating, watching such a moment like that was too much for them-
"W-wait I'm-ohhh...fuck!" You squeal, body shaking from your used hole being filled again.
The room is filled with the sound of all their heads snapping to the screen, Mirage didn't seem to have moved, unable to look away or even turn the camera off.
Faintly they can hear Starscream arguing with Soundwave (though it's one sided) as Soundwave gently works his spike into your used valve.
"How dare you, it should be my turn to use their valve!"
"They were given to me, so silence." Soundwave doesn't entertain more of Starscream, focusing on you and pleasuring you.
The doors open once more, giving Mirage time to slide out unnoticed, but just enough to see Breakdown, Thundercracker, Skywarp, and the constructions following suit before the doors close.
Just how many spikes were you taking?
Just how many times a day?
"I uh, I need to go drive- Right, patrol!" Hot Rod and Bee jump up, rushing out of the room in seperate directions.
"Prime?"
Prowl looks to his leader as the larger bot holds his helm in his servos.
Optimus can't face him, he can't face anyone! Why did he like that so much? He should be ashamed, disgusted, but oh Primus above you were quite the addicting sight.
He needs you.
Frag, he shouldn't be thinking like that.
"Optimus, what is our game plan."
Jazz's stern voice cuts through his thoughts.
"I won't be easy, but we need to tread carefully."
Surely it shouldn't be too hard to obtain you, right? It's for your safety after all.
CHAPTER 8 — hot, drenched, and sweaty.
“I THINK HEESEUNG IS IN A FIGHT CLUB.” That unprompted statement catches the interest of all the four boys currently in the living room. Soobin looks up from his half-finished crocheted bonnet, Jake and Jay pause their game of scrabble, and Sunghoon drops a rubik’s cube on your face because you gallantly decided to use his lap as a pillow on the lounge sofa.
“Oh god, I’m— I’m sorry,” he sputters out an apology. You take this as a sign to stop invading his space. “What do you mean though? Fight club? Heeseung?”
“Listen.”
You spring up from your position, sitting with a very determined look on your face which simply prompts their attention further. “Heeseung leaves the house at exactly 10 p.m. every Saturday night and comes back at like two in the morning. I asked him about is once, and all he said is that he’s doing ‘business,’ whatever the fuck that means. It’s suspicious as hell.”
The only reason why you were up at 2 a.m. to catch him in the act in the first place is because one time, you challenged Beomgyu and Jake to a no-sleeping contest and those two are the most gullible and have the most money from the lot. Little did those suckers know that you slept for fifteen hours prior to challenging them. They dozed off at the thirty six hour mark while you were still awake enough to catch Heeseung sneaking into the house at the devil’s hour.
After that, you had more money in your bank account, and a new curiosity that’s begging to be satisfied.
“I think he’s in an underground fighting club,” you declare. “There’s no other reason.”
“No, no,” Jay contends. “It might be something else. He could be a stripper.”
A silent moment of consideration.
Then you all release a unified, “Nah.”
“Maybe it’s private,” says Sungoon. “What—whatever it is, it could be none of our business.”
He has a point, but you’re nosy and bored. So are Jake and Jay because turns out, today’s a Saturday, and you have nothing to do, and you’re acquitted from any charges of instigating things because it’s Jay who announces, “Should we follow him?”
You grin. Sunghoon doesn’t approve of your expression. “We should follow him.”
“I’ll keep a lookout.”
“Text us when he’s about to leave.”
“You got it.”
Thus starts your mission of finding out whether Heeseung is secretly an underground fighter or a stripper. Sunghoon refused to be a part of it, but Soobin wasn’t strong enough to deny your puppy dog eyes, so it’s you, him, Jake, and Jay who might be charged for stalking and invasion of privacy because the moment you get a signal from Jake that “the target is out of the house, over,” the four of you, willingly or otherwise, start to tail him.
It’s disconcertingly easy to follow Heeseung without him noticing the four not so discreet people lagging behind him. When he takes off on a bus, you quickly hail a taxi for the four of you to jump inside of and continue the trail.
“I think—I think we should head back,” says Soobin, squeezing his arms against his torso because there are three of you cramped in the backseat. “The sky is glum. I think it’s gonna rain.”
“The sky is glum because it’s the fucking night. Mr. Sun has died. Wait, he just got off the bus. Let’s go, let’s go before we lose him!”
As you stalk down the sidewalk, you can’t help but feel a sense of deja vu because you swear you’ve crossed this same path before. You’ve been here before. You’re sure of it, and it’s not just because this area is just around your university, of which you haven’t stepped foot on since the beginning of summer and since living with Jake and his friends.
“Hey, he’s over there, he’s going to that cafe.”
Your deja vu is answered when the familiar facade of The Lounge shows up right before you. Heeseung enters the building. Sunghoon knew all along, that fucking rat. That’s why was so against this plot, that’s why he refused to tag along with you. “I’m going in,” says Jay. You postpone your revenge plan against Sunghoon for later and quickly follow behind Jay into the cafe. Once you enter however, it starts pouring.
The clear glass windows of the place get stained by an assault of raindrops. Crap. None of you brought an umbrella. “I knew it was going to rain…” Soobin laments, and you pat circles against his back to apologize for doubting him, further telling him that he has a knack for weather prediction and if he’s considering switching career paths.
“What now?” Jake asks.
“We can wait for the rain to stop or call Sunghoon to pick us up and bring us umbrellas,” you tell them. “For now, let’s find out what the fuck Lee Heeseung is up to here. This wasn’t part of any of our calculations.” The calculations being either violence or promiscuity. You didn’t make a lot of calculations.
The problem is, Heeseung is nowhere to be found. You end up ordering some drinks and food and decide to settle in a booth at the corner of the place so that you guys can have a full and complete view of the cafe’s entire interior, yet you still can’t find him, so you end up reminiscing the time Sunghoon dumped your lemonade on you which catapulted your hobby of messing with these guys because they become so nervous around you it’s funny.
“Did we enter the wrong building? Did he catch us tailing him and left through the back door?!”
You doubt Jake’s presumptions, and you’re correct to doubt him because right at that moment, Heeseung finally shows his stupid fucking face.
Not only does he show his stupid fucking face— he shows his stupid fucking face on the mini stage in the other corner of the cafe with a freaking guitar. What? So he’s not an underground fighter? Heeseung leans into the mic and a singular “ah,” resounds from the speakers mounted on the walls, muting down the muffled sound of the rain outside in that single instant.
When Heeseung starts to play the instrument followed by the sound of his voice, the rain is forgotten entirely.
This is a surprise. This is unexpected.
“This is disappointing,” says Jay, and you snap your head at him with eyes wide in alarm and disbelief because what does he mean disappointing? Disappointing where? You’ve been living with an angel all this time and you didn’t know?
“Yeah, it’d be cooler if he was in a fight club,” Jake adds, as if their friend isn’t putting the Billboard’s Hot 100 to shame right now. What kind of bullshit are they saying?
“Did you guys know he could sing like that?”
The three look at you, even Soobin, and respond with a yes, a nod, a hum. Your mouth gapes. But you don’t get why you’re surprised when these guys have known each other for years prior to you barging in unannounced— so, of course they know, of course you don’t, and in the midst of all this, your thoughts are interrupted by the sharp screech from the speakers, because Heeseung has stopped singing, and is instead now looking at your table, looking more alarmed than you.
You’re pretty sure your eyes met before he decided to bolt out of the cafe.
“Oh, he’s getting off stage. Maybe he’s going to greet u— why is he skipping our table? Why is he running outside? Hyung, wait!”
None of you end up chasing after him because it’s still pouring outside, and you can already predict what the aftermath of this is going to be. Thus concludes your mission of finding out whether or not Heeseung is secretly an underground fighter or a stripper, with the answer amounting to neither because Heeseung is a performer during The Lounge’s open mic nights, and you don’t get why he’s been acting so secretive about it all this time.
Heeseung wakes up feeling like shit. And not the regular kind of shit. He feels like Satan just chewed him up, only to spit him back out— slobber and the inferno’s of hell included because he’s sweating through his shirt, his blanket feels like a prison, but if he kicks it of, he gets attacked by cold flashes, so he’s in a sticky and uncomfortable limbo between overheating and freezing to fucking death.
His throat is dry. The only thing that escapes his throat is a guttural and inhuman rasp. He wouldn’t be this sick if he didn’t run out in the rain last night.
Rather, he wouldn’t have ran out if you weren’t there last night.
Heeseung rolls to his side with a groan of pain and anguish, muffled against the pillow as a different kind of fevered heat washes over his face. Seriously. Why the fuck were you there last night? He could give less than two shits if his roommates find out that he sings Taylor Swift every weekend at The Lounge, but you— you’re a different story. Because he knows you’re gonna use this information against him somehow, just like how you like to fuck around with his friends.
Too much. Heeseung has always thought you were a bit too much for him. The time you chased Beomgyu around the house in the dress(?) Jay made is the only evidence he needs to affirm that.
Then again, maybe he shouldn’t have bolted out like that immediately after meeting your eyes. You already suspect that you gross him out (which, by the way, couldn’t be more wrong) for always running away from the threat of skin-to-skin contact with you. Why was it raining when it’s still summer, anyway? It’s like that night was a curse made especially for him.
He curls up further into a ball, hoping you just forget about it all and don’t question him about it.
Yet the very opposite happens because what interrupts his spiraling thoughts is the sound of your voice— already threatening a wave of torment.
“Oh, god. You’re in a worse state than I thought.”
Heeseung regrets springing up from his bed because his head immediately gets slammed by the recoil of a headache. “Why...why are you here?” he barely scratches out. You’re by the doorframe, arms crossed and eyes laced with pity. He didn’t even hear the door opening.
“Jake told me about your illness,” you say, walking over to the side of his bed and Heeseung flinches back the moment you set yourself down on the mattress. “He said you have a chronic case of bitchless syndrome.
He looks at you. Your face is dead serious. Heeseung feels a drop of sweat trickling down his neck, then you break into that devious smile of yours and laugh out a grin.
“Kidding. Jake would never say that. He told me you were sick and needed someone to nurse you up, so here I am.”
Holy shit. Heeseung lets out a breath, nearly teetering off his bed to maintain a comfortable enough distance from your overwhelming presence. “Why—” some throat phlegm cuts him off. He lets out a violent cough before reclaiming his voice. “Why you? I—I mean, why did Jake ask you?”
“Ouch?” you remark. “No one else is around. Jake’s out hiking, apparently. Sunghoon’s covering someone’s shift. Beomgyu’s obviously still at his parents. Jay says he’s out on a mission, and Soobin left the house with a giant backpack. I was too afraid to ask. Anyway, I know my very physical presence disgusts you, but deal with it for now, you goober. You look like hell.”
“That’s— that’s not—” You take this opportunity to pull his sweaty blanket off in one swift movement. “That’s not it! You don’t— don’t disgust me, I’m just— you know—”
“I know, I just wanted to fuck with you.”
You’re grinning. You haphazardly fold the sheet before throwing it down to the foot of the bed, sitting over it. Heeseung feels the blood drain from his face— “Anyway, sit up and let me feel you up,” —only for the blood to shoot right back up and nearly knocks him out unconscious. “Feel your temperature up, perv. I’m not taking advantage of a sick man. C’mere, let me see how sick you are.”
Heeseung, however, still has enough marbles to quickly evade your incoming hand. He swerves to the right. You blink at him, arm reaching out to thin air, before trying again, only for Heeseung to swat your hand away with gritted teeth and fearing for his life. “S—sorry,” he chokes out. He sees the glint in your eyes. Crap. He shouldn’t have done that.
“For fuck’s sake, just let me check your temperature— Heeseung! What the hell?!”
“Just—just leave me alone!”
Earlier, Heeseung thought he was about to die. He didn’t think he had enough strength to fight for his life as he squirms underneath you on the bed, driven solely by the desire to protect his fucking pride because there’s no way in hell he’s letting you touch him when he’s all gross and sweaty and gross from the fever. There’s no way in hell he’s letting that happen.
“What are you—”
He yanks out his blanket from underneath you, causing you to roll of his bed and he throws the sheet over his red, hot, and burning face because holy fuck. Holy shit. That was a close call.
When he peeks out from the blanket, Heeseung instantaneously feels a threat to his life.
You’re glaring at him. You look like you want to skin him alive and he gulps and nudges himself away, ass nearly falling off the bed when you get up from the floor and dust yourself off. “Okay,” you huff. “Fine. Have it your way. Die from a heatstroke, or whatever the fuck. I’ll be downstairs if you need me, and if you do, I’m expecting you to get down on your knees and beg because every time you’ve swatted my hand away was an additional jab at my pride.”
Okay, damn. You leave his room, not without slamming his door close to emphasize your anger, and on top of feeling like absolute crap, Heeseung now also feels guilty as hell.
“Fuck,” he rasps out. It’s not like he’s doing it out of malice, or hate, or because he thinks you’re a germ that he cannot touch, like you always accuse him with. Heeseung still remembers how his whole no touching quirk started: sixteen years-old, when Heeseung finally mustered the courage to hold his first girlfriend’s hand, only for her to laugh and joke and pull away while saying, “ew, gross. Your hand is all sweaty.”
Twenty-two year old Heeseung has been traumatized to this very day.
Especially now when he’s all disgusting and icky and very much ew and gross because of his fever. Stupid, he knows, but the last thing he’d want to see is a disgusted grimace from your face the moment the back of your hand presses against his damp and sticky, sickness-induced forehead. However, it seems like he’s been inflicting to you the very injury he’s been trying to protect himself by constantly avoiding the threat of contact of your skin against his.
Stupid. It’s really stupid.
But he can’t avoid dehydration by simply ignoring the dryness of his mouth. With much struggle, Heeseung forces himself out of the bed, despairing the amount of stairs he has to climb down— and the suggestion of calling for you help does tease his brain for a split second, but decides against it with a shake of his head as he continues the awful trip to the living room, body weighing thirty times heavier, and skull feeling like it’s about to crack itself open.
The problem is, his skull does almost end up getting cracked open. Because as he’s finally nearing the bottom floor, he misses a step, causing him to hit the ground with a harsh thud.
“Ugh,” he grunts, pushing himself with his forearms, but he stops, nearly face planting into the floor once more because you’re there, you’re walking up to him, looking down at him, and holding a cold and refreshing glass of water above his head like some sort of fucked up display of powerplay against a sick and thirsty man.
“Need any help?” you hum.
“I’m fine,” Heeseung tries once more to get up only to feel the nausea rise up to his head, and he stops, pauses, and decides that the floor is more comfortable after all. He looks up at you. “Can I...can I get a sip from your glass?”
There’s a glint in your eyes. You crouch down. “Sorry, what was that?”
Are you enjoying this? Do you like watching him in pain? (Likely answer is yes because you yourself have admitted that you enjoy their suffering and torment). “Water,” he rasps out. “Can I drink some of your water?”
“This?” You swirl the glass in your hand, ice clacking against the crystal, before taking a long, tortuous sip on the straw (why does it have a straw?) Heeseung swallows down his spit. “Say please,” you say with a smile. Heeseung chokes on said fucking spit and hacks out a cough because you’re fucking insane.
He feels his face grow hotter. And it’s definitely not just from the fever.
“P—please, give me some of your water.”
You don’t prolong his agony any further and hand him over the glass.
“Need any help getting up?” you ask as you watch him agonizingly sit up against the bottom steps and toss down the water into his throat in one shot as if it was at a company dinner. He wipes his lips with the back of his hand and feels your disappointed stare pricking his conscience. “I can’t help you unless you ask me to, Heeseung.”
He frowns, deflating. “But I’m all gross and sweaty.”
The last thing he expects you to do is to roll your eyes at him and stand up with an arm stretched out.
And the next thing he knows is that you’re lugging him over to the couch, an arm around his waist, his around your shoulder, and you set him down the cushions with a grunt. “Jeez, I’m not made for manhandling men,” you say, very dubiously. “Lie down.” And when he doesn’t lie down, wide-eyed and unresponsive, you poke his forehead and he tips back, falling into the couch.
What…what is going on...
“You know, I’m very tempted to ask you to take your shirt off just to laugh at your reaction, but you actually look like you’re about to die, so I decided against it. Aren’t I sweet?”
You’re back with a basin and some towels (when did you disappear?) and Heeseung’s brain starts malfunctioning, growing dizzier and dizzier by the second when you touch his jaw, damp towel wiping off the sweat coating his face and neck and he feels his throat tightening. “Christ. I think your temp is over forty degrees, my guy,” you say, squeezing the towel over the basin. “Hello? Heeseung? What the hell, did you catch Sunghoon’s disease? Are you unable to talk to me now, too?”
“It’s—it’s not that,” he chokes out. Hes about to justify himself, but you press your palm against his forehead, cutting off all the oxygen pipes leading up to his brain, and he feels like passing the fuck out.
Shit. Shit. Holy shit.
“Ah,” you say. “You’re not running away.”
He’s not. He’s not running away. But he feels a different sort of problem coming up.
“I think I’m gonna throw up.”
You blink at him. This doesn’t help his case at all.
“Wow, this is an upgrade,” you say from the other side of the bathroom door while Heeseung pukes his guts out into the toilet. Heavy metal playing from his phone is trying to block the noises out. He’s heaving over the bowl and wants to kill himself from embarrassment. “Now my very presence makes you vomit. I’m sorry for everything so far.”
There’s a flush. The music stops. Heeseung cracks the door open and you pass him a glass of water without some bedroom-esque powerplay this time. “Seriously, why did you run off into the rain last night? Look where it got you.” It’s a shocker that you haven’t told him he’s gross yet. You’re standing there in front of the bathroom and in front of the mess of his post-vomit presence, and all you’re doing is looking at him in worry.
“I wasn’t expecting you guys to be there,” he says, still sounding like death, and you take the now empty glass from him and head over to the kitchen, pointing at his makeshift deathbed on the couch.
“I wasn’t expecting you to give Mariah Carey a run for her money, either.” After you place the glass into the sink, you’re back to the living room. He’s down on the sofa, eyelids heavy, unable to say or do anything when you push back his hair to place a damp towel on his forehead. “Like damn, I knew you guys have known each other for a while now, but I totally felt like an outsider when I was the only one surprised to hear you sing.”
You’re not making fun of him. You don’t make a comment about how sticky his skin feels or how gross his sweat-drenched shirt is.
“I like your voice. Too bad it sounds like shit right now, but you should let me hear you again once you feel better.” The doorbell rings. “Oh, right, I ordered some porridge. You can feed yourself, right? Hold on, let me get it.”
He hears your footsteps padding across the floor, unable to find the strength to open his eyes as the coolness of the cloth seeps into his forehead. Heeseung has always thought you were a bit too much— case in point, everything that just happened and all the other times you’ve teased, tormented, and actively tortured to the point of tears all the inhabitants of this god forsaken house.
Yet it is also your excessive nature that has let Sunghoon speak more than five words around you, that has stopped Beomgyu from hermitting in his room twenty-four-seven, that has helped Soobin and Jay in two very important instances this summer, and has allowed Jake to offer you a spot in their lives after leaving that room on the third floor empty for a good two years.
“Fuck, I can’t believe they left me behind with a sick man when I can barely even take care of myself.”
You’re back. He opens his eyes and tries to lift himself up but his body is way too heavy. “Uh,” he says. “Can you…please…open the container for me?” He doesn’t miss your amused fucking grin when he mumbles out the please.
“Ah. Open up.”
Heeseung has always felt you were too much. Maybe it’s his fever talking, maybe it’s not, but maybe too much exactly what he needs right now.
Have you ever thought about who would be the funniest or most compelling naruto characters for either Shen Yuan or Shang Qinghua to transmigrate into?
Ha ha ha, no, that's never crossed my mind until now. Shen Yuan and Shang Qinghua are most interesting to me because of their specific relationships to "Proud Immortal Demon Way" and its characters, but transferring their story-bending abilities as transmigrators to something else...
Being flippant about it, I guess I could say that Shen Yuan's most notable skill is his "reverse harem creation" ability, seducing the people around him by being nice to them and happy & chill about life. So, any character for whom a harem is particularly funny. It would be funny to put him in Naruto, because Naruto is also not too shabby at building a harem and Shen Yuan is also a rather unambitious person who would probably hate being the protagonist. It would be funny if Shen Yuan could make Sasuke obsessed with HIM instead.
Generally, however, it's always fun to put Shen Yuan into scum villain roles. He'd probably make a good Orochimaru. It would be very funny if he accidentally seduced Kabuto or someone like that.
Airplane Bro in the "Naruto" universe is funny to think about because he's no longer the author and maybe he didn't even LIKE "Naruto" all that much. Maybe he never even finished it. He was using the one manga volume of "Naruto" that he owned as the coaster for his noodle bowl just before he transmigrated. He's SO bitter about it. He wrote a 20 million word story and didn't even get to transmigrate THERE???
Airplane Bro's main skills involve paperwork, being a traitor, and seducing cold-faced henchmen, so... I don't know. He should be someone relatively plain and it should be really funny to have a terrifying villain head over heels in love with him, and I cannot name a set of characters off the top of my head. When I try to think of "Naruto" characters who don't make facial expressions, I keep getting stuck on Itachi, and I have no idea who would be the funniest character to have accidentally earned Itachi's loyalty by being nice to him over the course of his childhood. I guess I'd say to pick an Akatsuki member and invent some random nobody ninja so Airplane Bro can be their new pathetic sidekick.
Rule of thumb for SVSSS fic ideas for me is "Is it funny?" Or "Does it break my heart?" but mostly "Is it funny?" Preferably in the way that breaks a genre trope.
Roommate Roulette-coming soon.
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x Reader, Jesse Cash x Reader, Jolly Karlsson x Reader, and Michael Taylor x Reader.
Summary: What started as an innocent Halloween game of spin the bottle: truth or dare turned into a sexy game of roulette as reader realizes her feelings for all her roommates was never one sided like she originally thought.
A/N: Since it's almost Halloween, I decided to shift into the spooky mood with a spooky, smutty-themed fic. The fic will contain a lot of sharing, so please read all the trigger warnings before you consume it. I will do my best to get it posted before Halloween but no promises. There is a written snippet below the cut as well!
18+ Content Warnings: oral with male and female receiving, protected sex with female on birth control, boot kissing, fingering, making out, choking, nipple play, voyeurism, reverse harem/why chose, sharing a partner, m/f/m, alcohol consumption.
If needed, I will add more to the trigger warnings as I start writing it.
Leaning forward on my knees, I exposed more of my pussy towards Michael who sat on the floor against the couch next to me so he had perfect sight of the wetness dripping down my leg; my soaked panties hanging out of his pocket from two dares ago.
Flicking my eyes around the group of guys, I noticed Jesse's gaze was locked in on my breasts poking through the top of my devil costume. Jolly, who was sitting next to me on my right, grazed his finger over my bare ass since my skirt was hiked up from me leaning on my knees.
Spinning the bottle in the middle of the floor, we all watched it spin and spin with bated breath as we waited to see who it would land on.
A low whistle fell from Michael's lips when the bottle landed on the one man I had yet to get to do a dare. Every time it landed on him, he would always choose truth.
"Well birthday boy," I smirked while sitting back on Michael's lap, who immediately wrapped his arms around me. "Truth or dare?"
Noah adjusted the beanie covering his long hair before extending his long legs on the ground, nearly knocking over the bottle. He was the only one tonight in our group that did not dress up.
"Truth," he wore his own smirk.
I rolled my eyes. "You're so boring you know that."
Michael chuckled while running his fingers up and down the inside of my thigh.
"Ask your question," Noah said.
"Fine," I sighed. "What do you want for your birthday?"
"You."
Noah's answer was immediate without an ounce of hesitation as his dark eyes bore into mine causing me to swallow thickly.
Devil's Night | Bad Omens
adult content | minors do NOT interact.
One day I woke up and wanted to be chased to the sound of Milagre.
⋆ 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆. Bad Omens X Female!Reader.
⋆ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒. It's devil's night and you've been invited to play. If you don't get caught by them, you win..
⋆ 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆(𝐒). Foul language, alcohol consumption, masked men, stalking, reverse harem, why choose, taking turns, explicit sex, fear games, submission.
It's okay to not agree with the characters' attitudes during the fic. It's good to remember that the story is fiction from the author's sick mind and of course they will make dubious decisions according to my fantasies. Nothing is done to be compared to reality.
Devil’s Night.
The first time she heard those words, thought it was just another excuse for parties and excess, but here, in Detroit, it’s different. People speak of this night as if it were a tradition, passed down from generation to generation, almost like a silent pact that no one dares to question.
Yes, it’s Halloween Eve, but it carries a taste of danger that goes beyond costumes and carved pumpkins. It’s not about trick-or-treating; it’s more like… a rite of passage, where each person lets their dark side surface, testing their own limits and those of others. And the entire city, somehow, agrees to turn a blind eye to what happens in the shadows.
In the alleys and empty hallways, you can feel something waiting, hidden between the walls and beneath the fog that stubbornly refuses to lift. The seniors, of course, love it. They create challenges, make absurd promises to the freshmen, as if they’re initiating them into some ancient secret. But it’s not a secret; it’s more like a warning.
I don’t know exactly who started it—maybe some group many years ago, looking for a way to release their frustrations, or perhaps the city already came with this curse built in. But, either way, everyone participates, whether in the role of the observers or those who get lost in the night.
You were about to leave home, dressed up for another Devil’s Night in Detroit. Your friends had invited you over to drink a little before heading to the Lions' party, the fraternity responsible for the highest concentration of players that night. At first, you were ready to turn down the invitation, wanting to go straight to the celebration and get it over with once and for all, but seeing the flyer advertising the Geordin’s pub attraction made you change your mind.
Bad Omens was the main act in an intimate show, and you felt a bit excited to know they were back in town. It had been a while since you last saw them—if you weren’t mistaken, on the last Devil’s Night.
"Don’t tell me you’re not even a little excited to see him again…" Ash nudged your ribs with a playful voice, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"They’ve grown so much since the last time I saw them, Ash. They definitely have no idea who I am."
"And what if I told you that’s not exactly true?" Ashley’s glittering eyes blinked behind her long lashes as if she had some valuable information. She rested her hands and phone under her chin while watching you finish getting ready in the mirror. "I messaged Steve; we chat sometimes, and when he told me he’d be in town, I didn’t fail to mention your name…"
"I can’t believe you did that!"
"I scored us four VIPs tonight thanks to my shamelessness. No need to thank me, babe!" Ash winked and blew a kiss at her own shoulder, ignoring when you rolled your eyes at her boldness.
You didn’t want to admit it, but a strange sensation was building up in your stomach, making you feel cold with every step you took out the door. According to your friends, you looked good enough to draw a crowd to your feet, and deep down, you hoped they were right.
Geordin’s was, as always, sweltering, packed, and filled with people dressed up in Halloween costumes. You were just in a short black dress and heavy makeup—this date was special, a night for vixens to leave their homes in their smallest outfits, best heels, and bold eyes to be, for one night, what they longed to be all year.
At the bar, you grabbed a drink and walked with your friends to the VIP area near the stage. With each minute closer to the performance, your stomach grew colder, while your friends chatted excitedly beside you, never quieting for a moment. It had been a long time since you last saw him, and you tried your best not to expect him to remember any fragment of the past Devil’s Night.
“Welcome to the show of bad omens, my friends,” said the recorded voice from the speakers, making the crowd go wild.
The lights went out, and your body froze in place as the intro to the first song began. His voice was still unmistakable and unique, pleasing to the ear, even live, weaving together with the guitar and drum solos as if they were one.
When you turned to the stage, Noah was gripping the microphone with his eyes closed, and you allowed yourself to take in the melody, singing along with all your heart as you remembered why this was your favorite band. At the end of the third song, he glanced over the crowd as if looking for something, seeming about to give up, until his eyes finally landed on you.
A jolt of electricity surged from your legs, coursing through your entire body. Noah gave a brief smile and bowed his head, waiting for the next song’s intro. You knew the setlist, and this wasn’t one of the songs played at previous shows. In fact, you recognized it instantly; it was your favorite track.
Careful What You Wish For hadn’t been played in recent shows, but he knew how much that song meant to you, and he’d included it in Detroit just to show that he did, indeed, remember you. Something damp threatened to pool in your tear ducts; this song reminded you of moments you’d rather forget, moments the band had made more bearable to face.
As the final song ended, the lights went out, and the guys left the stage to the applause of the crowd. Your heart was still racing from the mix of emotions caused not only by the show, but by the series of subtle glances he had thrown your way during the pauses between songs. You bit your lip gently, gripping your glass a bit tighter, wondering if it could be a sign.
But you quickly brushed off that foolish thought and shook your head, dismissing it.
You and your friends finally arrived at the fraternity party, and all of you, including yourself, were buzzing with excitement to start the real celebration. Everyone was in costume, music was blasting, the smell of marijuana filled the air, and alcohol was flowing freely.
It seemed like the perfect night.
“I wouldn’t recommend drinking too much,” Ash warned, pointing at your glass as you sipped the colorful drink through a straw. “The games start in a few minutes, and you won’t want to be throwing up during the hunt.”
You laughed, remembering what happened last year when you mixed a few drinks with cheesy snacks, resulting in a puddle of vomit that took you home before you even considered playing the traditional hunt.
Every year on Devil’s Night, the Lions held a hunt in the Shadow Woods. The game involved all the guests being released into the forest, blindly searching to capture as many targets as they could until they reached the other side. With no flashlights or any source of light, identifying anyone became nearly impossible as everyone wore masks to hide their faces.
A certain chill lingered in your stomach, and a tremor in your legs threatened to shake your confidence, but you preferred to think it was because of the drink, not the fear of who your potential hunter might be. Your mind raced through quick strategies to avoid being caught, though not knowing the Shadow Woods at night made it all the more difficult.
With your feet firm on the earthy ground, you were as ready as the other competitors. You looked around, feeling adrenaline pulse through your veins, filling your brain like a song made to build tension until reaching its peak. You felt ready for whatever the night had to offer.
The whistle blew.
Your legs pushed you forward, running as fast as you could, straining your vision to dodge trees and jump over branches. You listened closely to the sound of dry leaves and twigs that snapped underfoot as the predators ran. All of them were desperate, hungry in their hunt for prey. At the same time, it felt frightening; it was exhilarating enough to make you push for more speed.
Energized, you glanced over your shoulder now and then, trying to detect any approaching threat, but as you pressed on, you heard fewer footsteps. Breathless, you slowed down and marked the trees with your fingers as you continued to walk carefully.
Your steps froze in place when you suddenly heard heavy breathing. The footsteps behind you moved over the dry leaves, signaling that your hunter was approaching stealthily, like a snake. Slowly, you realized your feet didn’t obey the commands in your head—they wanted to keep running, but your body remained there, unmoving.
He knew there was no point in running. He knew you were lost. He knew you didn’t want to go anywhere.
“Good girl.” His voice whispered close to your ear, making you jump in shock. “You didn’t let anyone else catch you. You waited for us like a good girl.”
“She knew that no matter where she hid tonight, we’d find her.”
“We always find you…”
Through your peripheral vision, you counted all four of them, gathered in balaclavas, closing off any way out. Swallowing dryly, you felt your breathing falter as they each took a step closer, forming a claustrophobic barrier around you.
“Now you’re ours.” Noah’s voice echoed in your ear as you felt the fabric of his balaclava graze your cheek. “Once you lose the game, you become our prize.”
A brief jolt made you sit upright when you felt something wrapping around your wrists; he was tying your hands together with a rope. The remaining length of material was used to fasten another knot around your neck, this time slightly tighter.
In your mind, there was no room for doubt, because you remembered the main rule of Devil’s Night. You were free to make your desires real for one night.
Why not surrender to them?
Slowly, Noah pulled you along the length of the leash, and stumbling a little in your own steps, you followed him. He exuded a scent of sweat mixed with Savage cologne; his arms were exposed by the black tank top, and he wore cargo pants and boots. Each determined step he took made you tense up, fearing what was to come, and the walls in the form of men surrounding you added to your apprehension.
Your steps halted when the tall man pulling your collar from the front froze in place. The forest offered little light, and thanks to the moonlight filtering through the gaps in the trees, you could see the intricate tattoo designs on his back, partly covered by his tank top.
A breath, subtle but present, brushed your ears with warm breath from behind.
"How about a game?" Folio’s voice was so soft it seemed to dance at a unique frequency. "We’ll ask a question, and for each wrong answer, you lose a piece of clothing."
"A game is only interesting to me if both parties are involved. In that case, what do I get if I’m right?" You dared to respond, challenging him with a side glance.
"Don’t act as if you don’t like the idea of not being in control for a few hours…" Folio taunted, stepping closer with a deadly step. His body was too close this time. "All you desire is for the reins to be in someone else's hands, just for one night, someone who knows your dirty mind well enough so you don’t have to spell out what you need. Am I wrong?"
You weren’t afraid of anything and made a point to shake your head in defiance.
"Wrong answer."
"Not at all!" you contested without much conviction. Deep down, defying him and contradicting yourself with feigned reluctance was part of your game.
The cold wind touched your back just as one of their fingers slid the zipper of your dress down, exposing your bare skin. Slowly, you felt the fabric glide down your body, leaving a trail of goosebumps wherever it passed.
You shrank a little, feeling a hint of discomfort when you noticed several pairs of eyes observing your exposed form, but a tug on the leash immediately made you lift your chin.
"Don’t you dare lower your head, darling" another voice murmured as a finger traced along your chin, the wetness of a tongue brushing against the skin of your ear. "Not when you have a body like this. We can savor you without even touching. Consider yourself a goddess, displayed for adoration and worship."
Gently, he slid his hand from your chin to reach your cold-stiffened nipples, slow circular movements warming your thighs as Jolly’s voice stimulated you, his hands exploring your body without any rush.
They wanted you to surrender.
Indeed, you were already theirs.
For just one night, you belonged to them.
In front of you, Noah watched you with a tilted head, as if watching an intimate moment of pleasure was amusing to him. He wrapped the excess of the leash around his hands until it tightened, lifting your neck up toward him.
In one last visceral glance, Noah pressed his lips against yours.
A fierce kiss, charged with desire pent up since the last visit, filling every corner of your mouth, leaving you wanting for absolutely nothing. Between breaths, you let out a contained, low moan as those hands moved from your chest down to your hips.
His fingers, when they found your entrance, sent a current of electricity through the rest of your body. Jolly was warm and soft as a rose petal, he tortured you with the slowness of his synchronized movements on your clitoris and during the kiss you held Noah's lips between your teeth gasping a heavy moan.
Noah smiled, feeling how his body twitched in his friend's hands, he released his lips and dragged them down his face, allowing his moan to reverberate through his ears more clearly.
Just when you were about to give signs that you were going to collapse under Jolly's fingers they suddenly stopped. You panted and wanted to show that you were disappointed, but you didn't have time, Noah pulled you by the collar and turned you so that you were facing away from him. A quick scream escaped your lips at the surprise of the impact of your hips against his, you felt his bulge harden and let out some air through your nose.
A soft hand ran its thumb over her face, a caress similar to the one she felt on her ass as Noah explored her. At the same time they used their thumbs, Noah lifted your dress until you were completely exposed to prepare you, he dipped his fingers in your wetness and seemed to delight in it. Their eyes were fixed on the man before them, gently brushing strands of hair away from his face and lifting his chin.
“Good girl, good girl.” he whispered, sliding his thumb into your mouth, without breaking eye contact, you sucked his finger slowly until you reached the tip.
You watched as Folio grunted and finished sliding his cock into his free hand and bringing it closer to your face, passing it across your lips slowly. You moaned from containing the desire to take him in at once, and from having Noah playing with his head at your entrance in rotating movements. Little by little you relaxed and used your tongue to greet him and a smile formed on your lips when you saw him sigh once again.
Folio grabbed your hair with a little force and demonstrating that the provocation had made him lose his mind, he shoved his dick into your mouth at the same time as Noah entered you. Your screams were silenced by Folio's cock, you used your tongue to drool all over the compliment and without the help of your hands that were trapped you covered his head with the roof of your mouth. As you sucked him, you felt Noah bump his hips against yours in strong thrusts, pulling the collar from your neck each time he penetrated and stopped with his rigid member inside you.
Your legs shook from the force he used, you pressed him against the walls of your pussy and heard him mutter yet another curse due to the lack of space. Her head didn't stop for a single second, going down and up, sucking Folio's cock while he helped her with his hand in her hair.
With each of Noah's thrusts, you felt Folio's cock tear into your throat and you dedicated yourself to not leaving a single space without the contact of your tongue. He pressed your head down more and you enjoyed the taste of the skin trying to contain the entire volume. Noah grew harder and harder inside you and in an explosion of sensations for a few seconds your legs seemed to float.
This was the effect of the devil’s night.
It allowed you to fulfill even your darkest fantasy.
For one night.
Yandere Baki Short Stories: Tug-o-war
Yandere Katsumi x Yandere Hanayama x Amnesiac Afab Reader x Yandere Jack Hanma
TW: uncomfortable themes, yandere behavior, ooc, and a smidge of adult content
Lips eagerly pressed against the soft skin of (your name)’s cheeks, her body recoiled from the fervent tickling. What was going on?
(Your name)’s eyes fluttered open, her eyes glanced over to her assailant in confusion. Who was this man and why did he cry? Why was he all over her? Was he her boyfriend maybe? Husband?
“Oh thank god…” the handsome man held her cheeks in his palms and continued to press more kisses on her face. “I’m so happy you’re okay… I was so worried about you when you didn’t come by the dojo! Please don’t scare me like that ever again!”
(Your name) uncomfortably shifted in his hold, the young woman’s brows furrowed in confusion at this stranger’s actions. She had leapt into a fire for him? She didn’t recall such events…
“I’m sorry. I-“ she was cut off by the young man’s sudden hold on her, his face buried in the crook of her neck.
“It’s okay! You don’t have to be sorry at all, I’m just happy you’re okay-“
“Do I know who you are?”
“What do you mean?” The man nervously chuckled, his chocolate eyes filled with pain. “It’s me… Katsumi? Orochi Katsumi?”
(Your name) shook her head. “No I’m sorry, it doesn’t ring a bell.”
(Your name) went to hold her head and was surprised by the bandages wrapped around it. It would appear she must have hit her head so hard, she lost most of her memories…
Katsumi frowned but he had a hopeful expression in his eyes. He held her hands in his much larger ones. “So you really don’t remember me? Can you remember anything at all?”
(Your name) thought for a moment but it was all blank. “I can remember leaving Canada and I took a secretary position at Shinshinkai dojo...”
Katsumi nodded his head but he had a light blush on his cheeks. “That’s okay… I’ll help my girlfriend get her memories back.”
“Thank you.” (Your name) smiled warmly at Katsumi, whose cheeks turned an even brighter shade of red.
Katsumi gave her a bright smile. “We’ll be spending a lot of time together, okay?”
(Your name) thought nothing of it when Katsumi suddenly snuggled into her side, his arms tightly wrapped around her body like the coils of a snake. Yet she couldn’t help but feel a bit of unease in her stomach.
Something felt off to her but she couldn’t figure out what it was…
.
.
.
Katsumi nearly cried in happiness when he arrived home. She didn’t remember the last five years… which meant that he had a chance now!
Katsumi began to breathe heavily as he went into his room. He needed to prepare for her arrival. Katsumi wanted to make his home into their home. This is where they’d start an idyllic life together.
(Your name) used to be so shy and sweet when she was the secretary at Shinshinkai. She was one of the prettiest girls he’s ever seen and she always blushed whenever he spoke to her. (Your name) would compliment him and his karate a lot which made him easily wrap himself around her fingers. Yet she still played hard to get. Katsumi was as obvious as he could be about his massive crush on her… but that was behind them now. Now, she didn’t remember him so he could push the relationship he had always wanted with her,
Katsumi began to chuckle to himself as he imagined his future with her now. They’d be together… he knew she loved him before and he was sure she could do it again.
After all, she was the one who pulled him out of Shinshinkai when it burst into flames. And the only logical explanation on why she’d do such a dangerous venture to save him was because she loved him.
Even though she had rejected his advances before, Katsumi knew it was just because she was shy. And he thought it was so cute! Katsumi loved the chase. He loved her shy glances and her rosy cheeks. He loved how she’d try to hide behind her giant, grouchy childhood friend. And what she had done for him just deepened his feelings- no his love for her.
(Your name) loved Katsumi enough to leap into the bursting flames to drag him from the rubble and to safety and he’d never forget what she had done for the rest of his life. It was only logical that he fell deeper in love with her.
Now all he had to do was deepen this beautiful relationship that began to bloom. Katsumi would carefully curate this huge step together until she would accept his hand in marriage.
Katsumi reorganized his room with a smile. He wondered how many children she’d like. One or two? Maybe even more?
This all excited him so much… if only he was aware that he wasn’t the only one who held a torch for the young woman. A certain yakuza had his eye on her as well…
.
.
.
Hanayama sat in his office chair in contemplation on the news Kizaki had told him. (Your name) had lost her memories?
(Your name) was one of the only women Hanayama had ever been genuinely interested in because she wasn’t interested in him. Yet despite her disinterest in him as a man, she was still quite kind to him. There was even an instant she had given him one of her handkerchiefs to wipe blood off his face after a fight in the ring.
Hanayama glances at the white, lace handkerchief that sat in a frame on his desk. He adored her. She was so spunky despite how dainty she was and she diligently stayed beside her best friend’s side… Hanayama envied Jack Hanma.
That blonde bastard had no idea how good he had it. To have someone so loyal beside him. To have someone fret over his wounds and to ask about his day. It made Hanayama physically ill that Jack didn’t return even an ounce of her feelings…
Hanayama glanced at the rose that was messily embroidered on the framed handkerchief. He could recall their first conversation…
“Here, use my handkerchief to wipe the blood off.” (Your name) smiled at Hanayama as she handed him the small piece of fabric. “Oh… I never noticed that you kind of smell like roses, Hanayama. It kind of shows me that you have a gentle side.”
She captured his heart in an instant. No one had ever noticed his subtle rose scent to honor his late mother. From that day forth, he actively pursued her hand.
Hanayama would buy her extravagant gifts such as jewelry and designer clothing. He constantly brought her bouquets of roses, a few of them from his own personal garden, and yet she always kindly let him down.
Hanayama didn’t understand what she saw in Jack. He was a drug addict who selfishly put himself before her every single time. Hanayama was the whole package.
He was rich, he had power, and his crime family all assured him that he was very attractive. What more could she want? He would give her the world… and perhaps he came off too strongly. He hadn’t meant to scare her, he simply wanted her love.
And with her memory loss, he saw his perfect chance to give her the life she deserved. The one with him.
.
.
.
As she rested in the hospital, she was constantly visited by her boyfriend, Katsumi. He’d bring her takeout or some meals made by his mother, Natsue. Sometimes the food did taste a little off… a little too salty or sometimes a little too sweet. But she didn’t waste any of it since Katsumi had so graciously brought her so much food.
It was incredibly rare for him not to be by her side so she never took into consideration that she may be known to more than one person…
The door creaked open which made her smile warmly at whoever was in the doorway. That must be Katsumi as per usual!
“Katsumi-“ (your name) went silent when she noticed a giant scarred man in a crisp, white suit that stood in her doorway. His thick hands held a ginormous bouquet of roses in his arms. Who was this intimidating man? He looked dangerous.
The man adjusted the glasses on his face and silently made his way to sit beside her, the bouquet now held tightly in his hands. His knuckles turned white from the force of his grip which made her even more nervous.
“Um… hello-“ (your name) nearly screamed when he turned to her and crushed the roses between his fists until they were a liquid. She shook like a leaf when he brought his hands up to her face. Was he going to crush her? Oh god… she was terrified.
Instead he gently held her cheeks in his palm, the heavy scent of roses consumed her in a comforting blanket. There was something so incredibly intimate about this situation while the scarred man studied her expression. She felt as if she was being swallowed whole under his intense gaze. His eyes unnerved her.
After what felt like an eternity of staring into each other’s souls, the man slowly pulled away with a furrowed brow. He sat straight up in his chair in thought.
“Doctor Shinogi was right, you really did lose your memory.” The man then pulled out a cigar and was about to light it but (your name) stopped him. A soft smile crawled on his lips. “But you still hate when I smoke…”
“I’m sorry that I don’t remember you-“ The man grabbed her hand and pressed his lips against her knuckles.
“It’s okay, I’m Hanayama Kaoru. But you may call me Kaoru when we’re alone.” Hanayama stared at her while he tucked the cigar back into his suit jacket.
“I prefer to call you Hanayama. How are we acquainted?” (Your name) asked the stoic man who simply kissed her knuckles over and over again.
“You’re my fiancée.” Hanayama told her with a serious expression on his face. “You belong solely to me. When you’re discharged from the hospital, we’ll head back to our home. I made sure the rose garden was spruced up to your liking.”
Hanayama studied her dainty hands in his large ones in thought. “It seems you do not have a ring so I’ll have to get you another.”
(Your name) could only sit there in shock while this beast of a man pressed more tender kisses on her knuckles. His obsidian eyes studied her like a lion staring down a gazelle.
(Your name) furrowed her brow in confusion. Hanayama was her fiancé? But Katsumi was her boyfriend? That didn’t make any sense. She couldn’t possibly be involved with more than one man… she didn’t believe she was the type to be at least.
Hanayama bent down and pressed his lips on the top of her head. It was so strange to have such a large man be so gentle with her…
“I’ll be back tomorrow with a new ring for you. Then we’ll see how long it will be until you’re discharged.”
Hanayama then left her room without another word, leaving her to try to collect her thoughts.
She could not put into words on why she felt so sick to her stomach, but something about Hanayama terrified her to her core. Maybe she should wait until Katsumi dropped by to talk to him?
(Your name) winced when she felt a sudden pain in her head. A sharp head ache hit her when she thought to ask Katsumi for help as if her body was subconsciously telling her that it wasn’t a good idea to notify Katsumi.
(Your name) really hoped her memories returned soon… she felt so lost.
.
.
.
Katsumi arrived a few hours after Kaoru had left. The young man nearly leapt at her when he came into the room. His cheeks flushed and his exposed skin covered in a light sheen of sweat. He still had on his karate gi… Katsumi must have rushed to get here as soon as he could.
“I’m so sorry, baby! My karate lesson ran over today so I wasn’t able to be here at my usual time.” Katsumi sighed dreamily while he buried his face in the crook of her neck. Katsumi glanced up at her with a big, goofy smile. “But I’m here now so we can cuddle all night.”
(Your name) nearly squealed when Katsumi positioned her body to sit on his lap while he laid on the bed. His planted his lips firmly on her cheek.
“Here, drink some of the miso I brought.” Katsumi eagerly handed her the canteen of soup, leaving no room for a refusal. (Your name) laughed as she drank the comforting soup. It was a bit saltier than normal but she ignored the weird taste.
“Thank you, Katsumi… I appreciate all you do for me.”
Katsumi’s mood shifted when he noticed the rose stems in the trash. His arms considerably tightened around her body while his lip quivered and his voice shook, “you didn’t have a guest did you?”
(Your name) almost admitted the truth but a voice in her brain started to scream at her to be quiet. She held her hands up to her head with a wince. “Don’t tell him anything! Don’t tell any of them anything!”
Katsumi quickly sat up and held (your name)‘s face in his hands. His chocolate eyes filled with concern. “Are you okay? Do you have a headache?”
(Your name) leaned her head onto Katsumi’s shoulder which made the man instantly melt into a puddle. Katsumi pulled her close to his body to try to comfort her, his lips feverishly pressed against the top of her head.
“My head does hurt a bit… but I think I’ll be okay.” Katsumi held her close enough that he could smell the roses on her. He now knew exactly who had visited her… no wonder why her head hurt! The brute probably overpowered her senses with roses and gave her a headache!
Katsumi hugged (your name) and rubbed soothing circles on her back. “I’ll lay beside you until your head doesn’t hurt, okay? Is there anything you want? I can get it for you.”
“I just want to lay beside you.” (Your name) smiled warmly at him. Her eyes felt so heavy already despite it only being the early afternoon.
It wasn’t long until she fell asleep, her head tucked on Katsumi’s chest while he rubbed calming circles on her back. A soft smile on his face as he admired her resting face. She looked so peaceful… like- no she belonged with him.
Even if she couldn’t remember the last five years of him and Hanayama courting her, Katsumi would make it work. She no longer remembered that monster so it made the perfect opening for him to swoop her off her feet.
(Your name) would never cry over that bastard who didn’t deserve her. She wouldn’t have to worry about him ever again since she would become his wife.
“We don’t need anyone else but you and me.” Katsumi muttered under his breath. “It’s so nice to finally have you even if I have to help you sleep to be able to lay beside you like this.”
Katsumi sighed dreamily since he didn’t just crush up sleeping pills in her miso, he also put some special sauce in there so a part of him would be inside of her. In a way, they were already one. “I love you.”
.
.
.
For the first time since Jack was eight, (your name) was not by his side. The last few months have been strange. She had been visiting him less and less until her sunny self no longer appeared in front of him. And it upset him. Especially from how scared she was the last time he saw her.
Jack had never seen (your name) cry like that before as she tried to tell him what was wrong but he brushed her aside in favor of his training, a choice he now regretted.
He was here today to try to make it up to her. Jack knocked on the door to her house with a frown. This was the first time he’s even went to her himself, but he hadn’t seen her in almost six months. Jack had been so focused in his training that he failed to realize the world going on around him. He was so worried about her…
“(Your name)?” Jack noticed how messy the house was which raised alarm bells in his head. She was never so messy…
Jack scrounged around for the spare key until he found it, the giant let himself into the house only to see the numerous gift boxes and opened envelopes shoved into a corner in the living room.
His hands shook as he read some of the letters. These were from Katsumi and Hanayama… oh god. She was being hounded by them to date them. No wonder why she was so afraid.
Jack tried to rummage through her things to get a clue on where she could be but a framed photograph beside her bed caught his eye. His large hand shakily picked up the frame to see a picture of the two of them when they were kids.
“Don’t worry, I’ll save you.” The gears began to turn in Jack’s head. He could move the two of them to a more remote location where it was safer. Yes… he needed to keep her safe.
Jack had pushed her away over the last five years so she wouldn’t have to watch him destroy himself but now he knew he had made the wrong decision. (Your name) didn’t care about the lengths he’d go to for strength, she only wanted to be by his side. And Jack would let her. She would be much safer by his side and in his arms than anywhere else in the world.
“I’ll bring you home.”
.
.
.
Now (your name) was visited by Hanayama and Katsumi in a strange rotation over the last two months. Katsumi usually came in the afternoon and sometimes spent the night while Hanayama came in the late morning. The two men were as different as night and day.
While Katsumi was warm and friendly, Hanayama was the complete opposite. He was composed and eerily stoic save for the obsessive touching. But it was his gaze that unnerved her the most. There was an unknown emotion hidden behind his obsidian eyes that made her skin crawl.
His eyes seemed to bore into every fiber of her being as if he owned her. His touches were possessive and his kisses lingered on her skin longer than she would have liked. Yet he was insistent that she was his fiancée.
“I bought you a dress.” Hanayama whispered as he handed her neatly wrapped box. “You’re being discharged in a few days so I’ll take you out to dinner.”
“You didn’t have to do that for me-“ (your name) nearly jumped when he placed the black box in front of her. The look he gave her spoke volumes. Open my gift.
(Your name) opened the gift to reveal a beautiful gown made of red silk. This dress would no doubt hug her figure and that made a pool of dread settle in her stomach. Why did this gift of clothing make her so terribly afraid? It was a beautiful dress…
(Your name) was surprised when Hanayama suddenly planted a kiss on her shoulder. His dark eyes glanced up at her for acknowledgment.
“Do you like it?” Hanayama swung his arm around her and pulled the dress up by its thin straps so she could get a visual in the mirror. “I think you’d look stunning in this color.”
(Your name) gulped at their reflection in the mirror. She looked so out of place beside this giant man as he looked over her like a shadow. She felt like a lamb trapped in the maw of a wolf.
“We can get married in a week.” Hanayama reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black box. “I finally found a new ring that would look beautiful on you.”
(Your name) instantly couldn’t breathe from how anxious she was. Ring? A new ring? Why did he-
(Your name) nearly screamed when the door to her room slammed open and an absolute unit of a man walked in, the muscular blonde bent down to be able to fit through the door way. Recognition instantly flashed on her face when she saw him. This was…
“Jack?” (Your name) asked softly, her eyes softened at the sight of her childhood friend. Despite how much mass he’s gained, the insane height he grew, and the scars that littered his body, she instantly recognized the Jack Hanma.
Jack shoved Hanayama out of the way, his big arms quickly scooped her up in his arms.
“I didn’t know where you were for months and I finally got the call from doctor Shinogi.” Jack sighed, his massive body sunk into hers. “I should have come sooner but…”
Jack pulled away and bit his lip in guilt. He hadn’t been the greatest to her over the last few years but Kureha had told him that (your name) didn’t remember the last five years so this could be a redemption for him. He could finally give her the love she deserved now that he’s sorted out his feelings…
Jack nearly cried when she pulled him into a hug, a big smile on her face, the bright smile he hadn’t seen in years… the one that could light up the darkest of tunnels.
“It’s so nice to see you.” (Your name) smiled at him. “Are you doing well?”
Jack simply gave her a squeeze, he turned his head to glare at Hanayama. His cinnamon eyes filled with rage. How dare he try to take advantage of (your name)… how dare he and Katsumi try to fill her head with lies.
“I’m better now that I’m with you.” Jack muttered before he turned his attention back to her. “I can take you home after you’re discharged.”
“Home?”
“Mhmm. You live with me.” Jack replied softly, his large fingers played with a lock of her hair. “Where it’s safe.”
(Your name) felt her gut start to twist once again. She felt as if Jack was lying to her…
“Oh but I-“
“She’s coming home with me.” Hanayama interjected, his large hand held Jack’s shoulder. “She’s my fiancée.”
Jack huffed and pulled away from (your name). “Have you always been so insane to not understand she doesn’t have feelings for you-“
(Your name) almost screamed when Hanayama grabbed the collar of Jack’s shirt and yanked him down to his height. What on earth were they doing?
“Are you trying to take this outside?” Jack smirked at Hanayama who just glared at him.
And that’s when Katsumi waltzed into the room in shock. The karateka glanced between the two men before he noticed how teary eyes. Katsumi rushed to (your name)‘s side and pulled her into a hug in an attempt to comfort her.
“Are you alright, did they upset you?”
“Stay out of this.” Jack hissed as he put his hand between Katsumi and (your name).
“You stay away from my girlfriend.” Katsumi hissed while he swatted Jack’s hand away. “You’re always interfering between us-“
“She is not your girlfriend-“ Jack was interrupted by Hanayama, who squeezed between the two men to try to grab (your name)’s hand.
“She’s my fiancée-“
“She’s always been mine. You two need to leave her alone.” Jack hissed before the three men broke into argument over who she should end up with.
Poor (your name) could only sit on her hospital bed while the three men argued on who she belonged to. Her head was killing her… but maybe it was better that she didn’t remember anything about them?
Who knew how long she’d be trapped in this game of tug-o-war until one of them rose to be the victor? All she could do was sit quietly as they settled between them who her true partner was.
THERE ARE CURRENTLY THREE HEADS IN THE MALE DORMITORY LOUNGE. One is Sungchan, tinkering with the foosball table by himself because the other two heads are refusing to play with him. Second is Wonbin laid comfortably on the couch, headphones on and using his lap as a drum set. Last is Seunghan, on the floor for some reason, and eyes trained intently on his phone with his thumbs tapping on the screen like a madman.
The number gets added when Sohee rushes in from the front door, a large McDonald’s paper bag in hand and four large cups of soda in the other. “Order’s here!” he announces. The three heads quickly pop up from their respective businesses and congregate to the dining corner of the room.
“Fuck,” Sungchan groans, following the scent of the warm, freshly cooked mcnuggets on the table. The other three are already seated and poking holes in their soda cups. Sungchan is still groaning like a zombie. The two open nugget boxes are enticing him. He won’t . He must not. “I can’t eat. I forgot I had dinner plans tonight.”
“With a girl?” Sohee asks. The number of nuggets is depleting by the second. If the rest of the guys come down, there will be none left for him.
“Yes,” Sungchan replies. He swallows hard. Wonbin takes the boot shaped chicken right before his very eyes. This is torture.
Seunghan scrunches his nose, mid-nugget. “Boo. You whore. It’s guys night. How can you do this to us?”
“A few nuggets can’t hurt,” says Wonbin. He pokes the box closer to Sungchan.
“You’re right. Move over.”
They snort at his flimsy conviction. Sungchan argues that he is simply experiencing the delicacies of both the east and the west tonight. You’re supposed to have Japanese with him tonight. There is nothing wrong with cross-cultural enjoyment. He is simply diversifying his palate.
“So, is it a date?” asks Seunghan.
“No. I’m just eating out with a friend.”
“Just the two of you?”
Wonbin raises a brow with the question. Sungchan counts the numbers in his head. “Yeah.” If he eats another nugget, then that would make it five. Five can be counted with only one hand. That isn’t a lot. This is fine.
“Oh man,” Sohee snickers. “Yeah. I’m pretty sure that’s a date.”
“No way!” he defends, the fifth and final nugget stuffed in his mouth. Sungchan swallows before continuing, wiping his hand on the pile of tissue papers on the table. “It’s not a date. I mean, she did tell me that she has a little crush on me, but it’s not a date.”
The three don’t miss the slight curl of his lips— a bastard’s sly grin. It’s a date. It’s definitely a date. Seunghan gives him a hard smack on the back. “The girl has a crush on you, how is it not a date, you piece of shit?”
“Ow! Hey!” he glares at him. “It really isn’t! We even had a whole talk we’re keeping it strictly platonic. I’m not interested in her in that way and she knows that. I’m not doing anything wrong here!”
There’s both disappointment and judgment in Wonbin’s face. “Quit leading her on.”
Sungchan gasps. “I’m not!”
“Who is it anyway?” Sohee asks right before taking an obnoxious sip on his soda. “Maybe I know her.”
“Well, I doubt it,” he starts. “I’m pretty sure you guys don’t know her, but she’s—”
Your name stumbles out of Sungchan’s mouth. It falls quiet, save for Sungchan’s explanation that he met you through the soccer team’s captain, Nakamoto Yuta, and that he’s known you for around half a year now. You’re in different majors, but it turns out you have quite a lot of friends from his team, so you bump into each other a lot. Sungchan knew about your crush on him early into your acquaintanceship— which is why having dinner with you and just you isn’t, “and shouldn’t be that big of a deal! It’s not a date. Seriously.”
“Okay, it’s not a date,” Sohee relents. Sungchan nods proudly at his victory.
“Yes. It is not.”
“But you know what’s funny—” Sohee’s eyes move to Seunghan. “The girl you told me about has the same name. What a coincidence.”
Seunghan is sitting on the table like a mound of stone. He’s got a half-eaten nugget in his hands. He’s not putting it in his mouth. “That’s right,” he simply says. There’s a faraway look in his eyes. “That is pretty funny. What a coincidence.” Coincidence, Seunghan repeats in his head. Yes. It must be a coincidence. He nods to himself and throws the nugget remnants into his mouth, satisfied with that conclusion.
“What girl?” Wonbin rouses. Seunghan turns his head to him sharply.
“Oh,” he says. “A friend from highschool.”
“A friend that’s had feelings for him since highschool,” Sohee grins. “You said she was pretty. Why didn’t you two start dating?”
Is this the chicken’s fault? Why the heck does everything keep circling back to dating? “I don’t know. I’ve just never seen her in that light,” Seunghan explains. He doesn’t know why he’s getting riled up, but he is. “And just because someone confessed to you doesn’t mean they want to start dating. Dude, I feel like you’re the one that should go and find a date. Being single is getting to your head.”
Seunghan has been friends with you since eleventh grade, being classmates and all. You confessed to him early into grade twelve, and even though he didn’t return your feelings, it was never awkward because you never acted differently. In fact, sometimes he second guesses if it actually happened. Just a few days ago, he asked if you still like him to confirm. All you said was, “yeah, why?” and continued working on your assignment. That’s why sometimes he forgets. That’s why it’s not worth bringing up.
Until now, when your name suddenly keeps popping up. Wonbin utters the same. Seunghan and Sungchan’s head quickly snap towards him. “You guys aren’t talking about SM-ARTS Chairperson, right?”
SM-ARTS is an art organization in your university. It’s been a well known org since its foundation— half because of its achievements, half because of its stupid (smart) name. “That’s...yes, that is her.” Seunghan gets a bad feeling. A really bad fucking feeling, and it’s not just having too much unhealthy chicken nuggets from McDonald’s. “Why? Do you also know her?”
“Of course I do. I’m literally her Vice Chair,” Wonbin furrows his brows. This is strange. He’s been working with you since the beginning of the year and you’ve never mentioned a Jung Sungchan nor a Hong Seunghan before. What’s even stranger is their assertions that you have feelings for them. You. For them. It’s a ridiculous thought to entertain because, “she literally told me that he has a crush on me. What are you two talking about?”
Wonbin couldn’t get a more direct confession than yours. It’s typical for the rest of your org officers and members to tease the both of you— the snickers and hollers when you’d call him to discuss something in private, the teasing saying you two look good together. Hell, some of the kids even call you both mom and dad and it’s gone to the point where he’s told them off to quit it because you might be uncomfortable. But you’d always say, “it’s fine,” and “you didn’t mind,” with a sweet smile on your face. Now, he’s no stranger to those insinuations, and for the sake of your professional relationship, he needed your denial or agreement.
Turns out, you do have a crush on him.
So this has become very, very awkward.
“Maybe—” Sungchan stammers. “Maybe...maybe we’re each talking about a different person, maybe there’s actually three different— oh, hey. What are you doing here?”
Speak of the devil and she shall appear.
“Hey!”
The sound of your voice bouncing around the male dormitory walls feel foreign and jarring, especially after the conversation that had just transpired. You set down your bag on their couch, walking up to them with a bright smile that doesn’t match their vibe at all.
There’s tension in the air. A very thick and palpable tension and the three are exchanging glances and looks as if to say, ‘Go on. Go say hi to her first if she’s the girl you’ve been talking about.’
But you beat them to it. “Wow. I didn’t think you three knew each other!” you exclaim, skipping over to the dining corner where you find yourself in the gap between Sungchan and Seunghan. The two flinch at the closeness of your presence. Wonbin tightens his jaw. “Anyway, is Shotaro around? I need to talk to him about our trip this weekend, but he’s not replying.”
“He’s in his room. Upstairs. Fourth floor.”
It’s not a competition, but hearing how quickly the response falls out of Wonbin’s lips sure does makes it seem like it is. Sungchan has his mouth open, gives Wonbin a look, before closing it again. Seunghan never even got the chance, and Sohee is looking at the scene unfold like it’s a goddamned trashy movie.
“Great, thanks!” you beam. “Oh, and we’re still up for dinner tonight, right?”
They can’t go for another speed contest because the question is reserved for one person only— Sungchan, who seems to be caught off guard. “Yeah. Absolutely,” he manages to squeeze out. You smile.
“Sweet. Wonbin, have you prepared the documents I asked for tomorrow’s meeting?”
It’s like a question carousel. “I’ll send them later for you to review.”
“Perfect! Right, and Seunghan—” There goes another rotation. “Mind driving me to the reunion this Friday? Jaeha bailed on me at the last minute, that son of a bitch.”
Seunghan blinks at you, in a daze. “Sure.”
“Nice! And you—”
Your attention lands on the last person at the table. Sungchan, Wonbin, and Seunghan didn’t expect you to even entertain him. “Sohee,” their friend fills in, a little taken aback. You flash him a bright grin.
“Sohee! Nice to meet you! Love your necklace. Very chic.”
For some reason the smile on Sohee’s face is annoying to the other three boys. “Thanks!” he says. “Have a nugget before you go.” They didn’t think it was possible, but somehow your face glows even brighter and you lean down, still between Seunghan and Sungchan, to pick up a piece from the box.
“Thought you guys would never offer. Thank you! I’ll see you around!”
With that you disappear up the stairs, and you take all the noise and the life in the room with you. It’s quiet. So quiet— almost like there’s a standoff. That is until Sohee clears his throat, still pink from the compliment you gave him, and says, “Well. Seems like she’s the same person.”
No fucking shit, she’s the same person. They can’t keep making excuses anymore.
Seunghan tries to play it off with a laugh. “I can’t believe you guys would lie and joke about her having a crush on you.” His laugh isn’t well taken by the other two. It spirals down to shit all too quickly.
“What do you mean ‘lie’?” Wonbin narrows his eyes.
Sungchan hollers in. “Yeah, if anything, you’re the one that’s lying! You and him both!”
“Why would I lie?!” Seunghan protests.
“I don’t know— maybe because you’re jealous that she likes me and not either of you?”
Before they can start throwing fists, Sohee interrupts by making himself the collective target. “Have you guys considered,” he starts, hands solemnly pressed together above the crumb littered table. “That she might have a tinge of feelings for all three of you? Not just one?”
They pause in consideration. It takes them five seconds to brush him off.
“That doesn’t make sense.”
“No way.”
“Why would she?”
Sohee sighs and gives up. He hears a set of footsteps rushing down and hopes it’s you, so that his three friends would finally quit it. It is you, and Sohee lifts up. Your timing is impeccable. He’s almost convinced you’ve been listening the whole time.
“Hey,” you greet them once again, flashing a smile once, before going off to retrieve your bag from the couch. The three quiet down instantaneously and have resigned to glaring at each other in seething silence. Seunghan isn’t very good at glaring at people, so he reorganizes his strategy instead.
“How’s the thing with Taro hyung?” he asks, twisting his chair to face you better. Sungchan and Wonbin give him a dirty look. That bastard. He’s even considering body language into play.
“Oh! The trip is canceled.” You sling your bag over your shoulder. “So my Sunday has been cleared. Do you guys want to make plans?”
Crap.
You just tossed them a bone.
Sohee is sure this isn’t gonna end pretty.
“Why don’t we go on a date?”
All eyes are wide. Their heads snap in the direction of Wonbin— the fast bastard. His expression is nonchalant, but his shaking knee from under the table says otherwise. “There’s a contemporary art exhibit opening downtown. Let’s check it out together,” This bitch, Sungchan’s expression seems to say. Seunghan’s disappointment seeps through the air.
“Like. A date, date?” you confirm, eyes batting expectantly, as if you have a barrier against the palpably sour and rotten mood flooding the room in ominous swirls.
“Yeah,” Wonbin confirms. He’s lucky you’re too far away to notice the sweat dripping down his neck. “Is...is that a problem? You said you liked me. Why don’t we give it a shot?”
All hell breaks loose the moment you entertain them with flustered cheeks and a shy smile.
“No! Don’t go!” Sungchan’s had it. He can’t take this anymore. “If there’s anyone you should be going out with, it should be me! You like me! Not them!”
Seunghan has left his seat and has scrambled over to you. Wonbin and Sungchan’s eyes widen. They aren’t letting him do this. They quickly follow suit but Seunghan already has a firm hold on your arms and is looking deep into your eyes. He’s put up an invisible barrier. Fuck, that sneaky bastard.
“Were you actually serious when you said that you had a crush on me since eleventh grade?” His voice cracks. If he’s trying to tap into your pity, then it’s definitely fucking working. “But why are these two saying you like them? What about us?! Am I nothing to y—”
Your index finger finds its way over Seunghan’s lips. Silence befalls. Your blank face settles into a sound smile.
“Well,” you pry Seunghan’s hands off you, still smiling pleasantly at all of them. What is this ominous feeling? Why doesn’t it seem like you’re actually smiling at them? “As far as I remember, none of you returned my confessions.”
It’s like a hammer hits all three of them at once.
“And I still like you Seunghan. We literally talked about it the other day.” You gave him a two word answer then brushed him off your essay. That was hardly a conversation. Seunghan feels wronged beyond words.
“How—how about me?”
You look over to Sungchan, who looks arguably like a kicked puppy. “What about you?”
“Well,” he clears his throat, a faint blush coating his ears. “Do you still, uh, have feelings for me too, or—”
“Sungchan, do you think I’d have kept asking you to have dinner alone with me every week if I didn’t like you?” He blinks. Beside him, Wonbin points a finger to himself. You let out a breath. “I’d be blind and tasteless if I wasn’t into you, Wonbin. Especially after working closely together since the beginning of the year. Why are you guys asking me this?”
Sohee has stopped liking all these ominous periods of silence because they’re signs that even more chaos is about to ensue. His three friends’ eyes look empty and hollow as they stare at you. Oh god, they’re far gone.
“So,” Wonbin starts.
“You like us,” Seunghan follows.
“Like all three of us,” Sungchan finishes.
You give them a smile reminiscent of a kindergarten teacher feeling a swell of pride after her student finishes reciting the alphabet. Sohee feels sympathy pains for his friends. “Yup. I also have a crush on Johnny from med, but he’s graduating soon, so that’s a bummer. Oh! And our TA Jung Jaehyun! He has the face of a god!” Oh, dear. You stomp on them then finish it off with a spit on their faces. Sohee bites his lip, feeling both horrendously bad and curious as to how this shitshow will conclude.
The three simmer in silence. You give them a raised brow.
“Why? Is there a problem?”
Oh, there’s a fucking problem, alright.
“Why are you guys looking at me like that? I did confess to all three of you saying I have a crush on you, but I never said I was in love with you.”
Well, damn.
Neither of them like you like that, but that shit hurt for no fucking reason.
“Don’t think too much of it, sillies! And I don’t get why you’re all so affected when you’re the ones who didn’t return my feelings.”
Your laughter is poison and your smiling face is tearing them apart. You’re heartless. You’re a devil disguised as an angel. You’re from the deepest depths of hell and have come to earth for the sole reason of tooth-achingly sweet and strawberry scented torment. If they can fall to their knees right now, they would, but their pride is tattered enough already— ripped to shreds by your unapologetic bluntness and honesty.
“Anyway, since I already have plans with the three of you within the week, Sungchan’s later this evening—” The man in question is pouting. He’s pouting very hard when your eyes skip over him, and zones into the person that’s been quiet this entire time. “Sohee! Wanna go bowling with me and my bio friends this Sunday?”
That was a bomb. A large and dangerous bomb. “Sure?” Sohee responds unknowingly. You give them one last sweet smile of torture before finally leaving.
“Great! Get my number from any of them. I have to go meet some people. Later! Thanks for the snack!”
With that, you leave them behind, but not without a trace of disaster. Once they’ve confirmed you’re gone and out, signaved by the tight shutting of the door, Sungchan, Wonbin, and Seunghan look at each other. Then at Sohee. Then back at the closed door once more.
It’s quiet again. They don’t need to talk to settle with three mutual conclusions.
One. Sohee isn’t getting shit after the emotional massacre they went through. He can go crawl and scavenger for your number elsewhere for all they care.
Two. There’s no doubt. They all know you and you all know them. This is something they can’t ignore anymore, so they have to figure out how to behave in case a run in like this happens again,
And three—
You like them. All three of them. At the same time.
Their pride can’t stand the idea of sharing that affection. Absolutely not. Therefore three must drop down to one. Sungchan, Wonbin, and Seunghan are dead set on making sure that that one is going to be him.
