im thinking So Hard abt how roman & logan were treated in the earlier years of the fandom.
#treated as inherent villains because of how they treated everyones fave characters: patton & virgil#& its especially interesting 2 me bcuz of the parallels between them & janus (though janus' hate was on a much more extreme level)#i have a lot of. thoughts & i cannot exactly. phrase#& theyre kind of all over the place#like. how ppl infantalised virgil & patton but couldnt infantalise roman & logan due 2 their personalities & traits#the straight up PARALLELS 2 how early fans treated roman & logan 2 how the sides treated the dark sides#like. how can a fandom so easily miss the point in the series they are watching?#its so fucking strange#watching a series' morals & storyline get so easily ignored#like . prev posts i talked abt how ppl miss the point of accepting mistakes. ppl missed the entire point of virgils arc#accepting virgil despite him being “mean” bcuz he was just trying 2 help c!thomas. he shouldnt be demonised#but people could not take that & apply it 2 logan & roman#& couldnt apply it 2 janus#& then couldnt apply it 2 patton once everyone started 2 dog pile him#its . fucking insane 2 me sorry im .#like. how do you MISS THE POINT . after spending a month off of twitter i do not think i want 2 return back. like yea ok every1 says twt is bad but i think its especially bad 4 me 2 b on there. i constantly felt like i had 2 defend myself or join in shit i didnt need 2 . sasitwt is full of either children who feel the need 2 argue & argue, & i feel 4 them, or grown adults who want 2 pick fights w/ minors & just be needlessly rude . ive seen multiple adult sasi fans on twt interact w/ minors in an inappropriate manner (something i broke mutuals over). i have had my friend chance get called out 4 something that didnt even matter & get treated like shit 4 how web portrayed anxceit (tho the entire fandom did that, not just twt) & then watch a few of buns friends immediately kick bun 2 the curb bcuz of it .
i know i continue 2 call myself an infamous guy in the fandom, mainly bcuz its funny, but dear god the amnt of ppl that hated me over there. its just filled w/ thomas lovers who cannot handle criticism at all . ik tumblr has it 2 but its way easier 2 filter that out, unlike twt where my mutuals r mutuals w/ the guys who fucking hate me (i hold no hate towards those mutuals i dont control them).
i fucking hate it over there . its genuinely the most annoying space ive had the pleasure of being in. pointless arguing & hating, & im a hater myself . there was a sasi acc that was centered around roceit hate & just retwreted roceit shippers tweets 2 make fun of them. & lot of these users were children. like where even am i
unfortunately, leaving feels like im "losing" somehow & theyre "winning". i know thats not the case but i hate feeling like i got bullied off or something.
