I forgot to introduce you guys to urNen!! They're a Mystic who lives alone in the mountains near Ha'rar. Their mind is always somewhere else due to them being more interested in their skeksis counterpart's life than in their own. UrNen and skekEn may live on opposite ends of the continent but urNen is always observing skekEn's activities through their telepathic link. Like watching reality tv. Inside your head.
About once a year skekEn visits urNen and they spend a few weeks fishing and doing laundry. Everyone does their laundry once a year, right?
Also, while urNen doesn't really talk (skekEn got all the talking genes I guess), they do like to sing. Gelfling travelers who pass through the mountains are NOT fans of this because it sounds eerie as heck. Like are the mountains haunted?? Nobody knows.

Big 3’s Reactions to Sleeping in the Same Bed for the First Time
Pairings: Midoriya x Reader, Bakugou x Reader, Todoroki x Reader
fluff :) *swearing*
~Izuku Midoriya~
You were at a training camp for the weekend with the whole class. Everybody had their own bed, but the second you set your bag in yours, it broke. Must’ve been old.
You and Midoriya kinda had this thing where you both knew you liked eachother, but nobody ever said anything. He offered to share with you.
“Unless you don’t want to! That’s fine. Not that I- I like want you to- wait! I’m not saying I don’t want you to either! I just mean uh.. do w-whatever you want.” He stuttered ending with a smile. Everyone else laughed at him, making him even more flustered.
You accepted cooly, but you were more nervous than it came off. When night rolled around you rummaged through your bag, looking for pajamas. You only packed corny matching sets because you didn’t think this was happen.
After choosing the least embarrassing ones, you knocked on his door. He opened quicker than expected, “Hey Y/N!” He said enthusiastically, but you could hear the anxiousness in his voice.
It smelled nice. You couldn’t tell if it was the natural smell or if he sprayed something in preparation for your arrival.
He was wearing a white tank top and plaid pajama pants. You both just kinda stood there awkwardly. “I- uh.. do you wanna.. Are you tired right now?” He asked
You were, but you didn’t wanna make it awkward if he wasn’t, so you just asked him if he was. Awkwardly enough, he was thinking the same thing. He just scratched his neck and admitted he was.
You agreed and he opened up the covers for you. It was a queen, so you didn’t have to be so close. Not that you didn’t want to be.
You got under the covers and faced the wall. He got under and faced the opposite way. “Goodnight Y/N.” He said turning off the lamp.
He quickly turned it on again, “Sorry I forgot to ask! Are you like- are you afraid of the dark? I won’t make fun of you if you say yes.” You laugh to yourself and tell him it’s fine.
“Goodnight Izuku.” You responded.
~Katsuki Bakugou~
Like 2 weeks ago, Bakugou had asked you to be his girlfriend. No awkwardness. He just told you he liked you. You said you did too. And now here you are.
After failing your last test, he insisted on tutoring you because he, doesn’t want to be labeled as “someone who’s dating a dumbass.” He was definitely joking, but it motivated you.
You were both in his room, in your pajamas, while he explained the work to you.
“Y/N! Wake the hell up!” He snapped, poking your forehead. You had dozed off while studying. He tried to keep going, but you could no longer focus.
The next test was in 2 days, so you told him you would get up early and come study. “If you’re coming back anyways, just sleep in here.” He stated. Your eyes widened. You weren’t opposed to the idea, but it was just your guys first “sleepover.”
You shrug and set your stuff back in the table.
“No light, no tv. If you’re scared, don’t be.” He said as you crawled under the cover. You actually were slightly afraid of the dark, but you guess it wouldn’t be as scary with someone you know beside you.
Bakugou always went to sleep early, you pretty much just went on your phone till you fell asleep. “I thought you were tired. Why are you in your phone?” He growled.
You tried to explain, but he just snatched it away from you and tucked in under his pillow. “Sleep.” He affirmed. You rolled your eyes, but shut them.
You were awoken by a warm hand shaking your shoulder. Bakugou is staring you dead in the face when you turn around.
“Oh it’s morning.. already?” You murmur. He looks annoyed as he clicks his phone. You hear the sound of a very loud snorer.
“I can’t sleep with your fucking snores echoing the room.” He said angrily, but you knew he wasn’t trying to be hurtful. You rubbed your eyes and told him you would just go back to your room.
“No.” He protested. You lifted the covers and told him it’d be better. He snatched you back and wrapped the blanket back around you. “No. I’ll live. Just thought it was funny. Go back to sleep.” He whispered.
You shut your eyes. Suddenly you hear a soft snoring. Well how the turn tables. You remember your phone is under his pillow, but he’ll wake up if you get it, so you just note the memory in your mind.
~Shoto Todoroki~
You had told Shoto that you were having nightmares. He insisted that they weren’t really nightmares, instead just dreams you didn’t like.
Regardless, he acknowledged that they made you uncomfortable. “Do you wanna sleep in my room?” He asked, in response. He didn’t know how to comfort you, but he was trying.
You agreed and bought your one stuffed animal into his room at night.
“What’s that?” He asked. You stared at him confused. “A stuffed animal that my mom gave me when I was like 7. I can’t sleep without it.”
He smiled a little bit, “I wish my mom made gave me plushies instead of scars.” Well that was awkward. You stood there in silence for a while. You know he doesn’t mean to make things uncomfortable, he’s just blunt.
He asked you if you wanted the right or left because he was more comfortable on the left, but he’d let you sleep there if you wanted.
You didn’t have a particular preference, so you laid on the right.
He wrapped him arm around you and scooter in close, not saying a word. “Goodnight sho.” Yiu said breaking the silence.
He responded, but not to what you said, “Is this too close? I just thought this would make your dreams less scary.” You laugh and say it’s fine. It does make you feel safe.
“Goodnight Y/N. Goodnight stuffed animal.. what a gruesome title for a children’s item .” He ended.
(A/N: okay my second post :D i still don’t know how requests work, but I want some because I’m terrible at thinking of scenarios.)

HP sucks. Here’s something better.
Before I say one word more here, I should point out that I am explicitly talking about tabletop RPGs here. Tracking HP is totally fine for console RPGs, tabletop war games, fighting games, etc. etc. When you’re playing a real mathy game or tracking things all over, fine. But for tabletop RPGs, it kinda sucks. In practice you get stuff like the “rocket tag” of D&D 3.x where you frequently just chop right through a monster before it gets to act (or vice versa), or a long slog of whittling something down, or the occasional Shadowrun thing which helps the pacing but makes things kinda samey. So let’s full on drop it.
What do we really want out of combat in a tabletop RPG, most of the time? We have a villain or a cool monster we want to give a chance to chew on some scenery. We want to give the PCs a chance to do cool stuff informed by all the stuff they have written on their sheet. We also want some tactical decision making/random clever plans on the table. We probably want to keep things quick and snappy enough that we aren’t here focused on just this one scene for a whole session or more. We want to spice things up by rolling some dice with stakes that matter. We probably don’t wanna go killing PCs. That’s a lot of assumptions I’m making, but that’s where I’m coming from with this... orphaned mechanic I personally can’t think of a situation I’ll likely use it unless somehow I get tapped to reinvent the wheel for like, 7th or 8th edition D&D a decade from now or something. Especially since I’m using D&D as a jumping off point here.
Let’s literally just slot this in where HP goes in D&D, for now, for argument’s sake. We roll a d20, we compare a bunch of math, and we either get a hit, a crit, or a miss. Now we want to roll some more dice to see how hurt something gets. Let’s make this a roll on a chart though, see how this plays out.
As I’m using D&D as a test case, let’s go all maximalist. Every monster has a chart for when that monster takes damage and when that monster damages a player.
We just hit a monster. We have a big range of numbers. The highest number on the chart is “the monster dies.” The next few below that mess the monster up in cool creative ways. You’re like hacking heads off a hydra or taking the arms off a shambling corpse or shoving something down a dragon’s throat or whatever. Stuff that’s fun to visualize and screws with the monster’s ability to fight back. Below that big splashy dramatic range, we have some results that describe some really solid hits that aren’t permanent disfiguring game changers, but they leave big dramatic scars and and give you bonuses on future damage table rolls. In the mid-range of the table, these are big bonuses tied to sending things reeling and setting it up to maybe get that killing blow next. Then the lowest end of the table the monster is kinda no-selling the attack so the bonuses to future damage rolls are like +1 or +2 BUT those bonuses apply for the rest of the combat.
So something like this:
11 or less- A solid blow across the chest. +1 on all future damage rolls.
12-15- Serious injury to the leg, +2 to all future damage rolls.
16-18- Knocked to the ground, +5 to all damage rolls until the end of your next turn.
19-20- Hack off a bit: Disable the next of these attacks each result, A B C D.
21-24- Some real gruesome thing, depends what tone we want for this game.
25+ Boom dead monster.
Now I’m pulling these numbers out fairly arbitrarily because I don’t want to fully design a whole game here, but for argument’s sake, let’s say our big tough fighter is rolling 2d6+str for damage here. The character who’s less fighty is doing like, 1d8+str and we maybe have a 3d4 sort of character or a big ol’ wild swinging d20 or something in the mix. And str for the record is like, a bonus of realistically 0-5 or so. And crits do something. Double dice or a flat bonus or maxed roll, whatever.
The way this math’s out, we are DEFINITELY not taking this thing down in the first round. Nobody should be capable of straight up rolling a 25. If we’ve got some real min-maxed characters and some fantastic rolls, we might knock the monster to the floor right away and do some real serious damage to it right off the bat between a couple people. If we don’t we’re going to spend a couple rounds with people being incapable of rolling over a 15, but that’s OK. Low rolls shift the whole range over. You have a mix of heavy hitters and ligh hitters, and they all have their own roll to play. Half the party just gets in there stabbing this monster in the back and hacking its legs to get it all winded, someone smacks it real hard to set up for a big splashy victory, then maybe the next person to act pulls that off, or they just hurt it real bad, it recovers a little, we keep whittling down for another round and try again. If you’re landing hits, you’re making a clear contribution. If you’re landing big hits, they’re splashy, modest, they’re practical.
We also have a damage chart for what the monster does when connecting. Here we want a lot less emphasis on stacking damage bonuses over time, but still probably a little of that. We probably don’t want full on death or tearing arms off on the table, and we can roll any Cool Monster Abilities right in here. Fighting a werewolf? OK, if it gets a high result on its damage roll, you totally got bit, you’re a werewolf now, deal with it. You’ve got your partially sucked out souls, your nasty poisons you need to go look for cures for, with more mundane monsters just your really distinctive facial scars you’re stuck with for the rest of your life. Lower damage rolls are like, sending you flying back to the wall or knocking stuff out of your hands or other things that are temporary setbacks and might change how you act the next round basically. We want the heroes to win.
If you want something like different classes rolling different dice for HP, or a constitution stat, OK, monsters have bonuses/penalties to their damage rolls accordingly. +10 on damage rolls to the squishy wizard, he’s getting all messed up. Big badass barbarian, she’s gonna shrug off everything and just get knocked around a lot.
This scales nicely too! PCs fight something that’s kind of out of their league, or that they should be curb-stomping? Want an extra elite miniboss monster? Just modify the damage rolls by the difference in their level vs. the monster’s CR. Fight’s inherently that much shorter or longer and more/less dramatic. Easy peasy.
You might notice though that as we aren’t really tracking long term damage, healing doesn’t really work in this system. That is a feature not a bug. Having the one person who just casts a heal spell on whoever got hurt last tends to really not be very fun for the healer. You can still have healing as a thing for more dramatic injuries and poisoning and curses and such after the fight, but, yeah no basic HP restore spell. System doesn’t need it. Have fun actually playing your character. Want a monster that regenerates though? That’s still easy to do. Every round they either regain use of some attack that got disabled or drop that stacking damage bonus back down some. Simple.
And again, this isn’t a system I’m personally super keen to implement because... either it’s an optional rule where I have to work out the damage math curves on some existing game play with numbers, and write charts for scores of different monsters, rework some character options, find a fix for how like, I had a Pathfinder character once who hit for like 2d4+512 damage on a good day, etc. OR I design and balance out a super crunchy maximalist new game from scratch and I frankly have too many other big projects on my plate right now. But, here, play with the idea. Try and maybe shoehorn it into your next game. Gimme feedback. Full on implement it and credit me for the idea. Whatever.

It's Asteria!!! Please click on the image. Tumblr resizes it hortibly and I put a lot of work into it. This image is kinda spoilery for her story, but I wanna infodump, so I'll put it under the cut.
So, we can see here Asteria Malfoy and her alias Moira Lestrange. The picture is supposed to symbolize Asteria’s inner struggle during The Half-Blood Prince.
You might be able to recognize the shirt on the left. It's Fred's from Order of the Phoenix.
After her supposed betrayal in the Department of Mysteries, Fred broke up with her. She hates his guts for it, she hates everyone's guts, but the fact that she still kept his shirt shows that she can't help but love him deep down. She's heartbroken. With that mindset, she had to go join Bellatrix and Greyback in the attack on the Burrow (more on that in the Moira part). She managed to scare the Weasleys out of the house before everything caught on fire, but doesn't try to help. That changes, however, when she sees Greyback trying to attack Ginny. This causes her to snap and attack Greyback. The two get into a fight, in which Greyback destroys Asteria's Death Eater mask with a Sectumsempra-curse, causing the scar in the image. With that, the secret is out. After a following larger battle that Asteria secretly fights on the side of the Weasleys, Asteria faints and wakes up in the Burrow, forcing her to talk to Fred and the others again after so long. She refuses to join the Order again, saying she can't leave Draco alone and threatens to kill Harry if he hurts her brother, then returns to Malfoy Manor.
The bandage over her left arm in the photo covers her Dark Mark that she tried to scratch off during a breakdown over what side she's supposed to be on now. Of course, she failed and only scratched open her skin. The green lighting on the left is supposed to be a nod to the green-hued light in the Slytherin Common Room, as a nod to Asteria’s allegiance to Hogwarts deep down, as well as to her brother and his friends (who are all Slytherins) and her wish to go back to how things were when she was still at school.
Now, Moira Lestrange. From the moment Asteria’s betrayal was revealed, the person at her side wasn't Draco (because he was still at school), wasn't her mother (because she had stayed at Malfoy Manor), it was Bellatrix. Aunt Bella was there, right when Asteria entered the Department of Mysteries. She constantly assured her that she was right and that everything would be fine. She protected her, first from an angry Tonks during the battle between the Death Eaters and the Order and then from being injured in the fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort. What’s more: Bellatrix even apologized for the death of Sirius Black. She let Asteria grief over him, even if he was a blood traitor. But what was both the most helpful and the most damaging was giving Asteria her Death Eater mask. It was heavily Confundus-charmed to make Asteria more ruthless, suppress her seer abilities and help control her pyrokinesis. Under the alias of Moira Lestrange, Bella's supposed daughter, Asteria now had an outlet. All her pain and suffering and sadness turned into anger when she wore that mask. Moira became an icon of Voldemort's terror, maybe even more so than Greyback. She was sent to burn down the houses of muggleborns and blood traitors, or sometimes any houses at random, just to spike fear in the public. These gruesome attacks were a way for Asteria to let out all her emotions as Moira and then be better at Occlumency and Divination when she was back at the Manor due to being calmer. Thanks to the mask, she also felt next to no guilt about it. Those were strangers, after all. What was a double life at first became almost like two separate people. The cold and obedient Asteria, having become a lot more calculated and stern than when she was still with the Weasley twins, and the aggressive, fiery Moira Lestrange, with her hands, feet, face and hair covered in ashes, even underneath her cloak and mask, walking barefoot through the burned remains of houses. Of course, that changed when she had to attack the Burrow and Asteria’s memories and morals became stronger than the Confundus Charm. Nonetheless, Asteria knew she was dependant on her mask and so she had Aunt Bella replace it when Greyback destroyed it.
I think the orange light explains itself with the backstory. You may be able to see that the pattern on Moira's dress and mask has a flame design.
Also, a general thing: Asteria has naturally curly hair, just like her Aunt Bella! She used to straighten it just like Draco (whose hair is naturally slightly wavy - see the end of Deathly Hallows 2) and kept it long, but in her heartbreak, she cut it short on impulse and stopped straightening it, only doing so for Death Eater meetings. She actually resembles Bella quite a lot, having gotten a lot of her genes from her mother's side. The curly hair skipped a generation. Draco looks more like his father, but he got the slight waviness of bis hair from the Black family.
Here's a version of the image without the lighting. Maybe you can see some details better this way.

Honest Q&A: Round 6! Table
Hello all! It’s been a while since we were all together. I’m glad everyone was able to join our roundtable today. Hmm… looking over the questions submitted they seem to be… ahh, yes, these were all omitted from the previous questionnaires due to their… darker theme. Well, it seems my editor is looking to expand our readership. Very well, if anyone feels uncomfortable answering these VERY hypotheticals… feel free to pass.
First, a question for myself. Where have you all been? It’s been really hard to track you all down for another sit down lately.
Lloire: “I’ve been… Home. Researching. I might have doubled my workload recently so… I’ve been busy.”
K’risa: “I had to go back home for a bit. Mother got herself into some trouble and I needed to give her a hand.”
Beta: “Work, work, work. Poor Ikara probably thinks I’m a myth. Mythical boyfriend. Only appears on blue moons. My uh… well, Lucilius told me about some things going on back… home. I’m trying to help out some and I’ve been pouring myself into my work. I’m bad at taking breaks.”
Chadrick: “Ye an’ Scars o’er there are soundin’ more an’ more alike lad. As fer me? Ah’ve been spending quality time with Aislyn. Our last job set us up fer a good while so… we’re on leave fer a bit.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa found himself in the Burn, yes? Difficult place to be. Many things try to kill Aasifa, but he is difficult man to kill.”
Benedict: “Work seems to have dried up, so I have been spending my time working odd jobs and helping with restoration efforts at some of the holy sites.”
Chance: “East.”
Felix: “You find me when I want you to find me. You don’t need to know more than that.”
Alright, on to our… readers’ questions. <cough> Uh-hmm… let’s get this over with, shall we?
“If you had to kill one person you cared about to save the rest of the world, who would you pick?”
Lloire: “Hmm, I know everyone expects me to say myself…”
Felix: “Lo, Lloire, I'm sure we’re all eager to hear your answer, I'm going to let you finish, but I’ve been waiting for these kinds of questions a long time! A long, long time! Me… I’d kill anyone to save the world. It doesn’t really matter who. After a while you learn that sacrifice is sometimes necessary.”
Lloire: “Right… As I was saying… I know everyone expects me to say myself… but that sounds like a cheap answer. Everyone would say that, except apparently Felix.. To answer the more difficult question… who besides myself would I kill? I’d have to say Soren. I’d like to imagine he’d do the same in that situation. We’ve been through enough together to know it’s what the other would want I think.”
K’risa: “I’m, vaguely concerned that you both answered that so easily. I don’t think I could do it. Killing someone awful to save the world is one thing. I don’t know that I want to save a world where I’m forced to kill a loved one.”
Beta: “This is a bit-crank question. Who thinks up this kinda garbage? I guess if I had to pick it’d be Lucilius. He’s older than anyone else I care about… But I’m kinda with K’risa.”
Chadrick: “Tha’s nay tha way ‘eroes work. Ah would nay stop another from sacrificin’ themsel’es, but Ah’m nay about t’ kill an innocent. Meself, sure. Nay another.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa is thinking… His former master, yes? Aasifa is having cares for this person.”
Benedict: “Master Taqalid… I would very much like to hear your full story someday. I fear I too would be unable to kill another to save the world. I am not so arrogant as to assume myself above the gods. If it is their will, the world would be saved without so gruesome an act.”
Chance: “Yea, sure, everyone dies or one person dies. Makes sense. I’m not hero enough to go offing myself, so it’s probably going to be the least liked member of my crew. Sorry, whoever that is. You should’ve been more likeable I guess.”
"What is the worst thing you can imagine someone doing?"
Felix: “Ooh, we get to be creative now? Awesome! Let’s see… Oh! I know. Flaying someone alive while hooking them up to machines to ensure they don’t die then leaving just enough flesh that you can heal it and start all over again. And again. And again.”
Lloire: “You… sound entirely too gleeful at that thought. I’ll keep it simple. Betrayal. ”
K’risa: “Lying. I hate liars. Breaking someone’s trust is the worst!”
Beta: “Bad people are just that, bad. The worst thing someone can do is be a good person and stand by while bad things happen.”
Chadrick: “Good point lad. Aye, tha indifference o’ good men is probably tha worst sin.”
Aasifa: “Making someone your slave. You do this, Aasifa will kill you.”
Benedict: “Turning away from the Gods. It is one thing to be ignorant of them, and another entirely to believe and abandon them when life changes.”
Chance: “Desertion. Plain and simple. You don’t wanna fight, don’t sign up. You run, you get others killed.”
"Do you think death is the worst fate there is?"
Felix: “Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. No. Losing your mind is. Insanity, amnesia, anything of that sort is far worse. Better to die as the person you are than to live as someone else.”
Lloire: “I’m of a similar mind, though more to the mindset of freewill. The worst fate is giving up who you are and knowing you’ve done so. To be a puppet for another.”
K’risa: “Watching those you love die is worse than dying yourself.”
Beta: “I don’t know guys, dying means things can’t be fixed. Like, someone might be able to restore your mind, your puppeteer might get killed and you go free, you will meet new loved ones. Dying is the only one that means you don’t get another shot.”
Chadrick: “Aye lad, but there’s somethin’ comfortin’ in knowin’ it’s nay your problem anymore. Ah think those who’ve lived through enough know tha’ sometimes e’en tha memories of wha’ ‘appened are worse than dyin’. Ah think bein’ forced t’ relive yer worst failures would be far worse than a simple an’ clean death.”
Aasifa: “Being slave is worse than death. What is life if you do not control your own destiny? Even if you leave this to chance, it is your choice, not the choice of another.”
Benedict: “There is far worse than death. Death is simply a new beginning that brings us closer to the Gods.”
Chance: “There’s not much worse than death. A lotta shit you can move past. Me personally though… I’d rather die than be feeble and weak. I’d rather die the man I am then be left a crippled shell of who I was.”
“Would you rather know the date of your death or the cause of your death?”
Felix: “The cause, without question. It can more easily be circumvented that way.”
Lloire: “Hmm, the date. You’d have time to set your affairs in order. There is no hiding from death forever so… better to be prepared when it does come.”
K’risa: “Neither! I’d be panicked the whole time if I knew the date. Like a time bomb ticking. If I knew how, everything remotely close to like it would scare me.”
Beta: “I guess the date? Would be kinda nice to know how long I make it and know how many projects I could finish.”
Chadrick: “Well shyte, Death-catte an’ Scars o’er there both make good points. Neither one seems better than tha other. I guess date so Ah could make sure Aislyn was cared fer when Ah was gone but nay before.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa is knowing these things already. This question does not apply to Aasifa.”
Benedict: “I’m more concerned with how I live than how I die.”
Chance: “Cause. If I’m fated to die in some auroch shit way like getting sick or in my sleep, fuck that. I’ll go out before hand in a fight on my own terms.”
“If you were trapped on an island, would you rather resort to cannibalism or die of starvation?”
Felix: “Cannibalism. No offense, but meat is meat at the end of the day.”
Lloire: “I’ll… do what I must to survive.”
K’risa: “Nope. No. Nu-uh. Not happening. I am not eating people!”
Beta: “I barely like meat as it is. I don’t think I could do it.”
Chadrick: “Ah’m nay killin’ anyone else t’ eat them, but if they were already dead… Ah’m not goin’ t’ die so tha flies can get fat instead.”
Aasifa: “No, this thing is not done. The body once housed the soul and must be treated with respect or the soul will not move on. Aasifa is not being responsible for revenants.”
Benedict: “I suppose I will die.”
Chance: “Hate to say it, but I’m with Lloire. Won’t like it, but survival.”
“Would you rather have an arm hacked off or a leg?”
Felix: “A leg. Much easier to make a new one if you have both hands to work with.”
Lloire: “Are you an Ascian? I’m asking for a friend. Anyways… I say arm. The Flame General seems to get along fine after all.”
K’risa: “My leg if I have to choose. I mean, I can sit and sew.”
Beta: “I’m going to go with the majority so far. We had someone in the Blades who had a magitek leg. Pretty sure I could make something similar… but I’d need my hands to do it.”
Chadrick: “Ah’m with Lloire. Ah can wield me sword with one ‘and. Much ‘arder to run or dodge with one leg.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa is getting choice? He would flip coin to see which.”
Benedict: “An arm is not needed to kneel in prayer.”
Chance: “You can tell who the ones at the table are who fight the most. I’ll go with arm too.”
“If you murdered someone, how would you get rid of the body?”
Felix: “That’s pretty easy. Fire. Don’t leave behind evidence.”
Lloire: “I… agreed. For once.”
K’risa: “I guess that works for people who have unlimited access to fire on the spot. I’d probably make it look like Amalj’aa did it.”
Beta: “I want to be made everyone has an easy time thinking about this… but I already decided acid so I don’t have any room to talk.”
Chadrick: “Ah’ve got contacts. They’d be much better about it than Ah would be.”
Aasifa: “Get rid of body? Why are we doing this? If you get rid of body, how will the others know not to test you? It is better to display what is done and allow them to see to their dead.”
Benedict: “I… I have no answer for this.”
Chance: “Probably by dropping it off with whoever paid for the job.”
“Would you rather hear the voices of dead people or see their ghosts?”
Felix: “Hear, definitely. The dead might have useful things to say. I don’t really care what they look like though.”
Lloire: “Both options are readily available so the question is rather moot.”
K’risa: “Creepy. Um, I guess see. There are people I’d want to see one more time.”
Beta: “Let’s go with neither. Yea, neither. The dead should just yanno, stay dead. ”
Chadrick: “O’, Ah’m with Death-catte it seems. Ah’d ‘ave a much easier time findin’ things if Ah could ask tha previous occupants where they left stuff.”
Aasifa: “This is not Aasifa’s place. There are those who are blessed to listen to the dead. Aasifa is not worthy of this honor.”
Benedict: “I’d like to hear them. I might be able to help them find a way to move on.”
Chance: “The fuck do I care about ghosts? If I gotta pick, see. That way I can kill them if they’re fucked up.”
“If someone you loved committed a gruesome murder, would you help them cover it up?”
Felix: “Only fair.”
Lloire: “It would depend on the circumstances.”
K’risa: “Uh, no.”
Beta: “I don’t know. That’s a pretty big ask. I’d hope nobody I loved would do that or involve me really.”
Chadrick: “Aye, dependin’ on their reasons. Fer shytes an’ giggles, nay. But some people need killin’ an’ tha law doesnay always see it tha same.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa is still not understanding this cover up or hiding bodies thing. If you do the thing, be proud of your actions. Stand by them, yes?”
Benedict: “I… am having trouble with that notion Master Taqalid. I don’t believe anyone should take pride in murder. I’m afraid I would not be able to help them hide their crime.”
Chance: “Yea, most likely.”
“Would you rather be kidnapped for six months and survive or die without any psychological damage?”
Felix: “Psh, psychological damage? For my kidnappers you mean?”
Lloire: “I’ve lived through it before. I’d choose survival once again.”
K’risa: “I’m not sure I’m made of the same stuff as you guys. I hate the sound of being kidnapped that long, but, I’d still rather live.”
Beta: “I guess it depends on by who. Being a P.O.W. is bad but not as bad as some sadistic psychopath in some underground ruins.”
Chadrick: “It’s worse fer a lass than a lad most times. I’d choose life more likely than nay.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa is probably killed in escape attempt. So it is death either way.”
Benedict: “Every man can be broken. Yes, even you two. I’d rather die than be broken in such a way.”
Chance: “Live. Then I can go back, find who captured me, and make them pay.”
“You can only save one... your worst enemy’s infant child, or your best friend's true love. Who do you pick?”
Felix: “Hmm, my worst enemies infant child. Then I would raise them to oppose my enemy.”
Lloire: “Most likely my best friend’s true love. Simply because in doing so I would be save more lives, my best friend’s included most likely.”
K’risa: “Ugh! This is horrible. The child of course. They’re innocent!”
Beta: “Yea, I’m going to have to go with the kid too.”
Chadrick: “Ah’m with Scars. Tha true love. Ye di’nay know how much wickedness is in tha blood and while e’eryone is born innocent, nobody stays tha’ way. Love on tha other ‘and… Tha’s nothing to scoff at if it’s true. Ye need t’ protect it.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa’s worst enemies are either not allowed to have children or their children would be too well guarded to ever need Aasifa’s saving, so he is picking the other option, yes?”
Benedict: “What the child may become is up to them, the sins of the parents are not the sins of the child. I agree with miss Mau.”
Chance: “The child. If my best friend cannot protect their loved one and they can’t protect themselves, that isn’t my fault. The child has no one except the fool who became my enemy.”
“Would you rather marry your most recent ex or spend five years in jail?”
Felix: “I married my most recent ex’s. I’ve got no problem doing it again.”
Lloire: “I’ll take jail. Been there, done that. I’ve screwed up a marriage before. I’d rather not do that again.”
K’risa: “I’m going to go with jail too. Some men aren’t the marrying type.”
Beta: “Mister Chadrick? If looks could kill you might be dead. I think it’s safe for me to say marrying my ex. Kinda a non-issue for me.”
Chadrick: “Come on lass. Ah’d do fine in a bondin’, it just di’nay work between us. Ah’d still say bondin’ though. Jail’s a pain an’ e’en if ye are exes fer a reason… bondin’s can be annulled pretty easily.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa would be widower then. Still, it is better than losing freedom.”
Benedict: “I fear I cannot answer this as I do not have an ex per say.”
Chance: “Yea, I’d marry her to get outta the jail time, annul it, and get on with my life. Heroboy has the right idea for once.”
Thank you all for taking the time to answer these… ahem… questions. I appreciate your candor and I’m sure our readers do as well. One last question of my own before we break. What’s next for you?
Felix: “I’m setting up a new… workshop in the Mists.”
Lloire: “I’ve a problem of my own making I need to deal with. Once that’s handled… I need to get back out into the world.
K’risa: “I’m not really sure. Been thinking about going back home. I’ll be sure to say good-bye and let you know if I do.”
Beta: “I’m going to keep working with Lucilius but yea, I should prolyl take a bit more time away from work too.”
Chadrick: “Back t’ work Ah imagine. Ah’ve been hearing some strange things about Dalmasca. Might go an’ take a look.”
Aasifa: “Aasifa will follow the wind. See where it is taking him, yes?”
Benedict: “I will be looking for work for Sunny and I. What’s that Master Ashton? Oh, certainly.”

Hello I was looking into Dr.jacobs for minimal scar surgery. Would you recommend him?
Putting under a cut cuz it’s kinda long
tl;dr I’m 3 days post op so I’m still kind of coping with recovery. I want to include the experience so you’re more prepared. This is the least invasive top surgery technique I know of but, surgery is still surgery, and it’s going to be something to overcome. In the end everything heals and works out well though. I would definitely recommend him, he’s very professional and does a great job. There’s no consultation fee so it doesn’t hurt to send him pics and ask if you qualify for minimal scarring.
Yes, I would. This surgery is less invasive and less painful than most other forms of top surgery. In fact, I think it may actually be the least invasive one. He’s the one who invented it, and the only other person I know who does it is Dr. Robinson who is near Cincinnati.
My only complaint is a fairly mild criticism of confusion why he was saying certain homeopathic remedies may help. Iunno if maybe he just had patients in the past who believed in homeopathy & didn’t wanna argue with then, or maybe figured even a placebo effect is still an effect. I guess in his defense Arnica gels yield mixed clinical results. I’m still pretty doubtful they do anything though lol
Since he’s a cosmetic surgeon, he doesn’t cooperate with insurance companies, but he will request a reimbursement for you after you pay out of pocket (tbh I’m not optimistic my insurance company will go for it). It was $9500 with a 50% payment when I scheduled a date and the next 50% the day before surgery.
His office staff are really nice. Because his office is in New York, you get to deal with the city, which is either really fun and great or really miserable depending on how you feel about NYC lol Prepare for traffic and tailgating though, that’s just how NY is. Also be careful of scam artists in NY, honestly you’d be lucky if you spent an hour walking or driving around that city without somebody trying to scam you.
I’ve never had surgery before and I think I’m learning now I’m not good at dealing with it, so despite the noninvasiveness it’s still pretty difficult. There’s still the issue that the result immediately after is going to be gory and awful compared to how it looks after months of recovery. Right now my peri incisions still have dried blood all over them, my nipples are a gruesome dark purple, and I can’t really feel my chest and won’t be able to for months. I have to wear a tight binder for 6 weeks to decrease swelling which makes sleeping uncomfortable and breathing sometimes feels like I’m battling against the binder. And here I got top surgery so I wouldn’t need a binder. :Y
The anesthesia gave me some side effects about 2 hours after surgery so my teeth were jittering and I was convulsing for like 5-10 minutes, thankfully that went away quickly and never came back, and I was prescribed Tylenol with codeine for pain (although he tells you to try Tylenol without it first but I misunderstood him and just went straight to the codeine one) so now I have constipation from codeine :’) I quit the painkillers day 3 post op cause I don’t need them so hopefully that goes away. I was prescribed antibiotics and anti nausea meds as well, the anti nausea ones taken right before surgery, and the antibiotics taken right before and then continued every 12 hours for a few days. I was able to eat about 3 hours after surgery with no problem. That’s all just the nature of getting surgery, I guess. YMMV though.
This surgery still beats DI by a lot. The periareolar scars tend to heal about the same color as the areola so they’re hard to notice, and the ones under the armpit are so small you hardly can notice them as well. They’re just tiny pink dots. I didn’t need drains. I was able to walk pretty decently within an hour after surgery and never needing anything like help using the restroom or climbing up and down stairs. The day after surgery I could go out and do some light things, like a short walk in the park or seeing a movie (he encourages you to do this and not be unnecessarily housebound). The first two days changing position (sitting down, laying down, standing up, etc.) was somewhat painful but it’s not too bad right now.
My advice would be to also contact people who’ve gotten minimal scarring with other surgeons to compare. I didn’t qualify for periareolar but I did qualify for minimal scarring with my breast size. If you’re smaller and also qualify for peri then look into that too.
Btw, if you haven’t seen it, another tumblr user has posted his results with this surgeon here: https://cantrecallgettinghere.tumblr.com/post/144517964039/i-cant-believe-im-writing-this-but-i-had-top
Jsyk I was a solid B cup pre op, didn’t smoke, am 22, 6 months on T, about average BMI. I qualified fine for the procedure and had very good results (skin tight against my chest, areolae naturally shrank with the skin tightening, almost no bruising and fairly quick healing).
I did take a pic of my own results but I don’t really want to post a picture cause it’s only 2 days post op so it doesn’t look that great yet (still a lot of swelling and bandages over the nipples) and I’ve seen bad immediately post-op pics reposted by transphobes so er. I mean it’s not *that* horrible, not even any bruising, but I’d rather not risk the possibility of giving anyone fodder. It looks about the same as that other guy’s anyway.
#put a cut cause it's kinda long#top surgery#elliot jacobs#hm i'm editing this bc re-reading his e-mail maybe my memory is just bad

My arm.. its burning and doesnt even feel like skin anymore. For the past.... 4 days maybe? Ive been cutting the same place, cuts above cuts above cuts.. making one or two on new skin. I like it like this because it bleeds more. Some look blue black tho? Im kind of scared to recut those, but theyre increasing. What does it mean? Anyway, my arm is sore, has been sore, but im feeling it a lot more tonight, right now. Ive been taking pics of my arm these past few days. It just looks like a messy gruesome battlefield. Cant even count the cuts. None are scarring, obviously. I do clean them every night though.
The 3 on my shoulder, one of them are kind of hurting. The skin around it... idk.
Its mind settling that i have something to look forward to every night. Cutting is like, so refreshing. The smell of the blood makes me wanna cut more. I love the smell. Too much of it makes me wanna puke though. Im tired. I drank coffee but im sleepy. I wanna cuddle. But the person i wanna cuddle with has exams tomorrow. I hope shes fine. Resting well.
I wanna just drop my head on her shoulder and sleep. I guess thats what i got my body pillow for...
Im so tired. Today my dad's friend invited us for dinner. Amazing place. Amazing food. Had Biryani, watermelon, my fav: vanilla ice cream, and cake. Oh and an Apple J. Low-key fucked me up, but eh. Everyones eyes are on me to not fuck up, and honestly the preasure is kinda getting to me. Well i mean, ofc it is im slicing up my own skin lmao. Anyway. My dad made BBQ. Mom made pasta and fried rice. I made the salad. Barely ate a thing. Okay. Goodnight.
