It started after you two began dating. It wasn’t unlike Miko to occasionally take a human lover every few centuries but what was baffling to most people was that it was someone like you. You, the seemingly ordinary Inazuman citizen who neither had much mora to their name nor held any high ranking position, within the tri-commission or otherwise.

Your presence, which used to go unnoticed by plenty of people, intrigued those who learned of your relationship. We’re you really human, or just a Yokai in disguise? Is there some secret talent you possess that strays further from a vision? What is it about you that won over the guji’s heart? All this unwanted attention has attracted many sorts of people, but the most irritating we’re the ones who tried to test their luck on asking you out.

At this point of her life, Miko was adept in terms of her patience. But these pests who are vying for your attention were certainly testing her resolve. Her busy work schedule doesn’t allow her to visit you often during the day yet she can practically sense the amount of unwanted guests you entertain all the way from the top of Mt. Yougou.

She’s on the verge of snapping when yet another one of your sudden “suitors” interrupts one of your many late night strolls through the city with the promise of a romantic, candlelight dinner by the sea. Since words can seem to get through to these dense idiots, she’ll opt to putting her arm around your waist and pull you close to her chest. If you don’t shut down the conversation immediately, she’d start twirling her finger in you hair and whisper downright filthy remarks in your ear as if the other person weren’t still there. Yet the man is still unfazed, as if he isn’t intimidated by the Yae Miko.

Has she really lost her touch? Maybe being with you really has make her soft. He tries to lay his hand on yours and that becomes the last straw. Finally having enough, she moves him out of the way by the shoulder and “accidentally” slips a current of electricity through him. Taking your hand, she practically drags you to your shared apartment before anyone else can try to get their hands on you.

If the people of Inazuma can’t seem to take the hint that you’re taken, she’ll have to make that fact much more obvious by biting at your neck and in places that would be hard to cover up. She’d mark your boobs, stomach and thighs, anywhere she can get her hands on really. All this pent of frustration is getting to her and she needs some form of release soon.

Hands moving to your hips, she lines up her clit to yours and starts grinding. It was a hot day and Hannah made all of us cliffhangers go hiking. It wouldn’t have been so bad but one person by the name of Scott Barringer wouldn’t shut up. Ever since he came here a couple months ago he’s been an annoying prick. For some odd reason he thinks he’s better than everyone else and thinks he’s to good for us.

“God this is so annoying I mean why do we have to do all this stuff??” Scott said complaining for the fifth time in the last 10 minutes. “Dude just suck it up the more you complain the longer it feels like.” Auggie said annoyed. “Dude literally no one was talking to you so why don’t you shut up” Scott said pissed.

“Scott seriously no one wants to hear your grading voice 24/7 just suck it up already.” I snapped and turned to him. Scott just looked at me and mumbled something under his breath. Even though Scott annoys me, he is one of the only people that I can stand to be around here at Mt. Horizon. He also somehow always listens to me when I tell him to shut up.

As we continued walking me and Scott’s hands kept brushing up against each other. I would never admit to anyone but I might have a little crush on Scott even if he does annoy me at times I mean come on he’s utterly gorgeous and can be nice when he wants to be.

The sun was starting to set and Hannah told me and Scott to go fetch stuff to build a fire. “You where blushing when our hands to kept touching.” Scott said suddenly smirking at me when we where away from the other campers. “you wish.” I replied back to him trying to hide my small and embarrassment. “Come on just admit you have a crush on me.” He said smiling. “There is nothing to admit.” I said, picking up sticks to use for the fire.

“So if I where to kiss you right now you wouldn’t kiss back?” he said, pushing a piece of hair behind my ear. “Scott you’re crazy” I said walking away from him only for him to grab my arm and pull me into him and suddenly feeling his lips on mine. Scott kissed me like it was the last thing he’d ever do but he was also so soft and gentle at the same time. I dropped the sticks I was holding and held his face as we made out. Soon we pulled away to take breath. Scott rested his forehead on mine and rubbed my cheek with his thumb. As we where about to kiss again we heard Ezra calling our name.

“We should better get back” I said almost out of breath. “Yeah” Scott replied “But one more thing” he said before kissing me again. “Alright lover boy let’s go before we get in trouble for inappropriate touching” I joked.

“fine.” Scott groaned picking back up the sticks and smiling at me “I’m going to annoy you so much more now” he said ruffling and kissing the top of my head

Snow Chapter 1

(Old writing. Sort of. It written without proper motivation, so it kinda sucks)

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I slowly open my heavy eyes from my sleep. With a grunt, I pulled myself out of the bed. Who knew human mattresses could be so... Uncomfy. I walked towards the window and opened the drapes covering the horrendous scenery. More forest fires. You'd think humans would be more cautious with their chemicals... I sighed and stretched, making sure my joints still functioned properly after laying down of several hours on that... Thing you call a bed. I already miss the lost cities...

I grabbed my shirt, an I ❤️ NYC shirt I got for free, my teal jacket, and some... Denim pants. Ugh, no words can properly express how much I hate the feeling of denim. My good pants were dirty, so it's back at Everglen, getting a good wash. I shuddered once I put them on. It was incredibly uncomfortable. My outfit was so bland. Is this REALLY what humans think are good? This is ridiculous. A small chuckle escaped my lips in amusement.

My chuckle faded then I sighed disheartedlu and walked to the bathroom where a single white tooth brush lay on the counter. The good thing about human hotels is thst they provide simple hygiene products in the restroom. Taking the plastic toothbrush and the rather sour tasting toothpaste, I start brushing. I stared at my reflection in the mirror for a moment. Same teal eyes, same brown hair, same face. My appearance still looked like how it usually would, but with the amount of smoke and chemicals I've breathed in, I looked somewhat different.

Maybe it was the slight circles under my eyes. Maybe it was that I reeked of smoke. Maybe it was because the smoke I've been inhaling was messing with my head. Or maybe I just felt over whelmed from the amount of voices I hear. Anyway, I finished and walked out, packed my things (which was just my pajamas, my phone that my dad gave me when I was 10, and my wallet), shoved my imparter into mt pocket, and headed out.

My trip out was a fairly silent one because of my ear phones jammed into my ears that're blasting Ricky Montgomery. The hallway had a few room service ladies walking up and down. I walked down the velvet aisle and to the silver elevator. The human world is so fascinating, yet strange and irritating with the way it works. I've seen many things over the past few years...

*DING* I snapped out my train of thought and walked inside the now silent elevator. After a few seconds, the elevator shut. No one was inside with me, which let me tell you is a BIG relief. You would NOT believe the amount of thoughts people have. Especially in a loaded elevator. Some interesting, some disturbing, some strange. At this point, it'd be strange to hear a quiet mind. Another ding. The elevator opened.

My feet took step after step towards the rotating doors and to... I couldn't help but sigh. After taking a deep breath, I stepped out and went to my way to find Sophie once more today.

I like both the longer and sort hair, I just prefer her bangs in the concept art.

As for the boy.....I guess I just like the happier face and lighter hair.

Tbh I just got a bit attached to these designs so seeing them look so different after the change (I'm assuming they changed it) makes me a bit sad.

As for actual changes to the game itself?......I guess make it more modern looking, it already kinda does but more like FFXV or Tales of Arise? Well I guess it does kinda feel very ToA.....just a tad more steampunk? More FFXV then. Less steampunk.

Babysitter AU.

So thinking about the anon who wanted silverusso fluff + size difference I realized there actually is one wip I have that would fit, and I typed this out for fun.

Tory is in the living room watching She-Ra, Terry is in his study with a glass of scotch going over his final numbers for the past quarter, and Daniel is trying to make a half-decent pesto dish for the both of them when he realizes the pasta he wants, the good kind and not that thick bullshit that supermarkets passed off as "angel hair", is quite literally out of his reach.

Terry, seeing as he's half-giant, and full asshole, doesn't keep any footstools in his house. Never mind that Daniel has been working for him for a good two months now, (sleeping over for about three weeks), and a growing eight-year-old in the house. Terry seemed to forget that other people didn't live quite at his eye level.

Daniel shook his head, thinking about the eccentricities of the older man. Why was there even any need to put things on the top shelf when there was more than enough space elsewhere in the pantry?

Huffing with sleight annoyance, Daniel, stretched as far as he could onto his tiptoes, despite knowing it was an exercise in futility. Over the past two months, Daniel has lost track of the number of times he has had to stop what he was doing to grab a chair from another room in the house and one memorable time when he had fallen off the counter because he had been too impatient to do even that.

Putting away groceries. Clean dishes. Towels. It was as if Terry were guarding his home against thieves specifically under 5'10. And Daniel knew he was a small guy, but 5'8 is not that short. 5'8 is an entirely average height for an 18-year-old young man. Daniel wasn't short, he was just kinda small. Slight. It was Terry who was the freak here. Unless you've been genetically engineered by the NBA there was simply no need for a man to come out so broad-shouldered, a towering 6'5, 6'6 given the right shoes.

Just as Daniel is about to call his own bluff, and grab a chair from the dining room adjacent to the kitchen, he feels a warm presence behind him.

That was another thing about Terry. There was no logical reason for a man that large to move so quietly.

Large hands, (again, illogically so) hands were brushed up under the front of his shirt where it was riding it. Daniel felt a slight pressure on the top of his head as Terry pressed himself behind him, and held the boy close for use as a chin rest.

Daniel listened to make sure that Tory was still occupied in the living room. Sure enough, he heard a chuckle from the girl, and then the distant sounds of animated swords clanging together.

Daniel would love it if Tory could know about them. If they didn't have to sneak kisses when she was in other rooms. Muffle moans into pillows. Scramble into separate chairs when seconds previously Daniel had been comfortably using Terry's lap for that sort of thing.

But that would make him a boyfriend, wouldn't it? The boyfriend. Possibly the, if he even let himself think about it in the most wild way he could, stepdad. And you don't pay those to stick around. Whatever this was, as fun and eye-opening, and life-changing as it was, it would never be a relationship. Not as long as Daniel was still on Terry's employee list.

It was silly to think of that anyway, Daniel, barely an adult himself, taking care of someone only ten years younger than him. Dating a man who was... Daniel balked at the mental math of that. So, as much as Daniel would love to hang around Tory and Terry for free, he would have to satisfy himself with getting paychecks and orgasms out of this arrangement.

Daniel shook his bad mood away, dislodging Terry, as he turns around to ask the older man, "Terry, why is there no footstool in your house? Am I supposed to climb Mt Everest every time I need to get the paper towels?"

Daniel cranes his neck back to look Terry in the eye, the other man putting on a placating smile. "Daniel, as long as I'm around you'll never need one. I like getting things for you." Terry pulled Daniel closer to his firm body, wrapping his arms around him entirely, pressing him back into the shelves of his pantry. "Besides, it's amusing to watch you struggle. you're cute like this."

"I'm not cute." Daniel huffed.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, I'm a business owner! I'm a karate champion! I'm a busy young man, I deserve respect."

"I do respect you. I just also think you're cute. Especially when you get all huffy." Terry smiles down at Daniel and Daniel opens his mouth to talk back, but then his lips are captured by the other man.

Daniel rests his hands on Terry's chest. Terry reaches down and grabs Daniel by the hips. Licks into his mouth. Puts one thick thigh in between Daniel's own thin ones. The shelving he is being pressed against is mildly uncomfortable, but that doesn't matter once Terry grabs him by the ass and encourages the boy to wrap his legs around him. Daniel gasps into the kiss,, not believing he's doing this so close to where the man's daughter could walk in at any time.

Daniel knows, being the responsible one, he should stop this, but he doesn't want to. This is his wet dream come true. Daniel still wasn't sure he was awake sometimes while with Terry.

"Terry, dinner is in 45 minutes..." Daniel says.

Terry smiles into the kiss, turning to close the latch on the walk-in pantry. Then he turns and presses Daniel into where there is a blank space on the wall, grinding his half-hard dick into Daniel, and letting the boy breathe hotly into his mouth.

"I'll only need 10."

A week after the Titan War, Annabeth is drafting a temple to Hestia when the weight of being the only person in the world that knows Percy's weak spot hits her.

Like. Really hits her.

And after about a day and a half freaking out about what it means and what she should do about it, she decides to go talk to him.

(Because not talking to him about what was bothering her led to the worst year of her life. Progress.)

They’re sitting on the beach, sharing Percy’s too small blanket- they both know he has bigger ones, but it’s an excuse to be almost on top of each other. She’s curled up resting on his chest, and he has one hand secured on her waist tracing patterns on her thigh, the other tangled in her curls. They watch the sunset and Annabeth is almost perfectly content.

Almost.

“How did you know?” The words tumble out of her without context.

He shifts to face her and raises an eyebrow. Annabeth finds it unfairly attractive.

“Know what?”

“When you told me your weak spot. How’d you know I could handle it?” The unspoken ‘because I don’t think I can handle it ’ must be apparent enough because Percy’s expression softens.

“Have you been worrying about this?”

Annabeth’s first impulse is to brush it off and change the subject. But then she hears Silena’s voice in her head: tell him how you feel. So she ducks her chin and forces the words out.

“Well yeah, I mean it kinda freaks me out that I just have this power over you. I don’t trust myself.”

Percy tilts her chin with featherlight fingers and an unadulterated fondness her seven year old self would kill to be on the receiving end of.

“I trust you enough for the both of us,” he said.

“How are you so sure about this?” ‘How are you so sure about me?’

He gives her a ‘duh’ look that she’s so used to giving him, it's a bit shocking to be on the opposite end of it. She decides immediately she doesn’t like it.

“You know why.”

“No, I don’t, hence me asking you why.”

She's watched Percy's face morph to pure amusement. He chuckles, and hesitates. “Well, because...”

He trails off clearly thinking about how to word his answer. As he thinks it over she allows herself to look at him properly.

He’s beautiful. Sharp jawline, defined cheekbones, devastatingly symmetrical features. His eyes are deep and content, looking out at the sea as if it has the answer he’s looking for. He can’t seem to find what he wants amongst the waves, but his eyes meet hers and the words seem to come to him.

“It’s you, Annabeth.”

He says it like it answers not only her question but thousands of others. It does neither.

“What’s me, Annabeth?” She attempts at light-hearted sarcasm despite her impatience.

He looks at her with a glint of mischief in his eyes and she knows that look. She hates that look. That look means she’s not getting an answer anytime soon.  

“Oh my gods, you really don't know?”

She glares daggers.

He smiles winningly. “Oh, this is going to be fun.” She bites at his shoulder in retaliation.

“You’re the smartest person I know-” Percy starts.

“True, but flattery will get you nowhere-” Annabeth cut him off.

“So figure-’ He presses a kiss to her temple.

“It-’ A kiss to her left cheek.

“Out.”

She opens her mouth to argue, but he kisses her before she can get out the words. And His knuckles are gentle under her chin, and he smells like ocean breeze, and his lips are chapped yet achingly soft, and he tastes like home. Annabeth resigns herself to find out what he means later, and allows herself to get lost in him and saltwater and home.

She digs up every legend about the curse of Achilles she can find. She scours Daedales’s laptop until it runs out of battery. She didn’t even know that was possible.

She researches.

And researches.

And nothing.

She has no idea what he means. Annabeth famously hates not knowing.

And. Percy. Won’t. Budge.

She has tried every trick in the book. She tried baking blue cookies (she burned them), refusing to kiss him till he tells (she caves), and asking Grover to get it out of him (something about the bro-code).

Everytime she asks him he just looks at her with his dopey, baby-seal love eyes and says those same two words.

“It’s you.”

She hates him.

...

It’s three more days before she figures it out.

Nico is looking at her skeptically. His all black get-up makes it so he almost blends in with shadows of the Big House’s basement.

“You need my help?” He deadpans, leaning against the wall looking almost bored.

“Sort-of,” Annabeth shifts on her feet,  “So, I know you were the one who took Percy to the River Styx, right?”

“Yeah?”

“Well he’s explained to me bits and pieces about how the curse works, and told me where his… you know… spot is.”

“Ok.”

“So my question is-” Annabeth stopped short. “Wait doesn’t that surprise you at all?”

He shrugs noncommittally, “Not really, no. You were saying?”

Annabeth clears her throat and soldiers on.

“Uh yeah. Right, well it sorta freaked me out how readily he told me about it and I asked how he knew I could handle it and he just said ‘it’s me’. And he refuses to elaborate, and it’s kind of killing me so, do you know what that means? And if you do, could you please explain?”

She’s been staring at her shoes while she rambles on and when she looks up she sees…

Is that humor in his eyes?  

“So, I'm guessing you've done your research on the curse?” She nods. “So you know that when Achilles mother dipped him in the Styx, she held him up by his ankle, which then became his mortal point.”

“Like a sort of anchor.”

“Exactly. Now what the legends don’t mention is that the mortal point wasn’t just the ankle. When his mother pulled him out she became part of his mortal point. Still with me?”

“Not really.”

“Perfect. Going in on your own is no different. You still need someone to help you out of the river, just not physically. You need to picture someone pulling you out, someone to motivate you, someone to bring you back to earth.”

He looks up at her, silently asking permission to continue. Annabeth nods with urgence.  

“It's not just someone who can keep you mortal, but the one person that makes you want to stay mortal. That person and your weak spot become intertwined.” He looks up at her and must still see traces of confusion.

“Your mortal point isn’t just the point of your body that’s unaffected by the River Styx, It’s the person in your life that you saw that gave you the strength to survive the Styx at all.”

Oh.

Oh.

“So when he says ‘it’s...He literally means…” She trails off and looks up at Nico. His smirk is patronizing, but she can’t bring herself to care.

“It’s you.”

She vaguely recalls thanking Nico for his help, but how she ended up in her bunk staring at the wall is a mystery. Annabeth has never truly understood the word dumbfounded until now.

It’s her.

...

By the time she comes to, it's dark out. Annabeth is already grabbing her invisibility cap and pulling on her shoes. She should probably change out of her pajamas, but her urgency to get to Percy outweighs the little vanity she has left in her. Percy has seen her in far worse conditions than messy hair and sleep wear.

Normally she would climb in through his window, but tonight is strictly business. Percy is still up waiting for her like he has been every night since the war ended. His face brightens when his eyes land on her face then immediately scrunch in concern when he sees what must be a manic look in her eye.

“You ok?”

“It’s me.” A whisper- she says it like she can't fully comprehend the words.

“It’s me?” A question- not necessarily for him just unsure.

“It’s me!” An accusation- this time it’s directed at Percy, who smiles with unnecessary pride.

He tugs at her hand and pulls her to sit on the bunk.“You figured it out.”

She’s briefly tempted to explain the whole visit with Nico, but she has other things on her mind.

“That’s how I knew on the bridge. That feeling that you were in danger, even though you hadn’t told me where the spot was, I knew.”

He shrugs, “It would make sense, but to be honest, I actually have no idea.”

She entwines their fingers and he lifts her hand up to press kisses to her knuckles.

“You saved me.” Percy says it soft and reverent, like a prayer.

“On the bridge?”

“No. Well yeah you saved me on the bridge, but I’m talking about the Styx. It was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I was burning alive. It was like I was back at Mt. St. Helen’s all over again.”

She feels a swift wave of guilt that she quickly pushes down so she can pay attention to the rest of his words.

“Except instead of the lava being thrown at me, I was dunked in it. And it was ten times hotter. I was drowning.” He laughs mirthlessly, and she squeezes his hand. “I was in so much pain I couldn't remember who I was.”

She knocks her forehead against his, partly to bring him back to reality, partly to remind herself that he did in fact survive to tell her this story.

He looks up at her, green eyes wide with a wonder and reverence she doesn’t believe she deserves.

“Then I heard you. Your voice. I heard your voice and I saw your face and you held out your hand. You didn’t just pull me back. You put me back together. The thought of you put me back together. I took your hand and I survived because of you. You saved me Annabeth.”

Annabeth is stunned into silence.

She has no doubt in her mind that if it were her in the Styx, she would've seen Percy and he would’ve saved her in the same way she saved him. But, it's different hearing it from him. It’s a rare feeling to know that this full-bodied, utter devotion (the kind she feels for him), is mutual. To hear it spoken out loud is almost unheard of.

She doesn’t have the words to articulate the supernova of emotions exploding her chest, so she kisses him. She kisses him with everything she has. Percy kisses her back with the same intensity. Percy’s kisses are safety and contentment and light. He’s so good with words (better with them than she is), and she thinks it translated into the way he kissed. He kisses her like he’s trying to say something--typically some shy declaration of the love that they both know is between them but tiptoe around speaking into existence.

He kisses with his whole body. He clutches at her waist like he couldn’t bear to let go, and she arches her back because she doesn't think she could bear it either. He occupies all five of her senses, the only thing she knows is him. Her hands are buried in his hair. He’s the sun, and kissing him is sunshine personified.

When she finally pulls back, he removes one of the hands gripping at her waist to slip into the junction between her collarbone and her jaw to keep their foreheads together. He keeps pulling her in his orbit, freckles like constellations, breaths mingled like they could survive on kisses and shared oxygen alone.

She thinks she’d like that.

Percy ends up curled on top of her, his head resting in the crook of her neck. One of her hands in his hair, the other on the small of his back like she can protect him with force of will alone.  They fall asleep the way they survive- anchored to each other.

Custom Toonami Block Week 119 Rundown

Kaguya-sama: Love is War: So this episode is fucking kickass, like I’ve been kinda mellow about my reactions to this series thus far but this season finale was hype as fuck. Just all the crazy shit people do to get Kagura smuggled out to the fireworks festival, Hayakasa is still best girl, Chika and Ishigami do their part and Miyuki is pretty badass weaponizing his usual mind game tactics and we even get a cameo from one of Chika’s ramen buddies, all of it’s pretty fantastic. It’s pretty funny how in the next part Miyuki thinks all the cool stuff he said came off as cringe because that’s definitely a matter of perspective and definitely a part of social anxiety but at the same time even the cringe versions of events he gives are still pretty cool, just more in an unhinged Jack Sparrow Guile Hero kind of way than the Shojo Manga Man way that Kagura saw them. Still you know how it goes, shenanigans and everything and we’re basically back where we started with a net no progress, like I like to think there’s at least some experience gained here but the nature of the show is fucking over any dynamic these two have that isn’t mind games. Still all that said it was pretty funny, I don’t know if I’ll be watching future seasons on the Custom Toonami Block specifically since it seems like a show that’s more fun to casually binge than do this sort of format for but we’ll see how it goes.

Inuyasha: So IMMEDIATELY after setting up the whole ‘Inuyasha is trapped in Jakotsu’s blade’ cliffhanger Inuyasha just gets cut a little and Wind Scars his way out, OHKOing Jakotsu but refusing to finish him off because killing a queer man that is yandere for you while he’s under a pile of rocks just doesn’t feel right I guess. Still Renkotsu comes and steals Jakotsu’s shard and kills him right after, then goes to fight Bankotsu because he’s pissed Bankotsu won’t share the shards and Bankotsu’s pissed Renkotsu keeps killing all his friends. Bankotsu even says he won’t use his weapon to fight Renkotsu and fucks him up just using Jakotsu’s hair pin which is pretty fucking dope. And just like that the Band of Seven has become the Band of One with a superpowered Bankotsu going to fight Inuyasha. Kikyo has a nice little talk with Hakushin about how even though he couldn’t be the perfectly selfless Saint everyone thought he was he did a lot of good for everyone and not wanting to die isn’t a sin but carrying grief in your heart isn’t healthy and he’s not really mad at everyone for using him but at himself for not living up to that heroic façade. She even gives him permission to quit being a saint and let go of the burden to set his soul at ease and it’s really pretty nice, probably one of Kikyo’s best moments given her own perspective on selflessness and death. But yeah with Hakushin gone, Mt. Hakurei transforms into a JRPG final boss arena and we’re ready for the final Inuyasha vs Bankotsu fight.

Yu Yu Hakusho: So we spend the first part of this episode going ‘Genkai’s really dead forever for reals guys, tournament’s over, no dragon balls or anything so home, show’s over’ then we cut to Toguro volunteering himself for ten thousand years in hell when according to his paperwork he should maybe go to the Moderately Bad Place instead of the Very Very Bad Place. And we get his full backstory which is basically the same as Jiren’s backstory in Dragon Ball Super except less terrible. Apparently all his students were murdered by a big demon and he was prompted to join the Dark Tournament just like he prompted Yusuke to and legitimately became cold and ruthless to rise to the challenge, then wishing to become a demon as a form of punishment and to double down on the path of strength he’d chosen. Basically everything in Toguro’s backstory goes ‘maybe he’s being an asshole but maybe also he has another motive’ and you can really go back and forth on each part of his motive about which of these are self-flagellation and which are corruption since it’s probably a mix of both. Even Toguro seems to be going out of his way to zig-zag the tropes as if someone understanding him in any way is a comfort he doesn’t want. Anyway Yusuke and co. are getting ready for the boat and oops Genkai’s alive again, I mean they are friends with the god of the dead and they did get jipped out of their prize for the tournament, seems like he shouldn’t be able to just… do that but here we are, we went through a lot of ‘she’s really dead super for reals this time’ for her to just come back but whatever. Just hope they do something cool with her in future arcs and this isn’t just something to not make Yusuke have to deal with loss.

Fate/Apocrypha: So now Yggy Mcbabyeater is very mad that the Bigger Cup got stolen and makes Vlad turn into Dracula against his wishes so he can fight despite his weird thing of not being able to fight outside his home turf and he kinda just… fuses with him which is apparently something people can do? So yeah now we have Yggycula as our big season-ending midboss and this just became Netflix Castlevania for a bit with everyone fighting him. They get interrupted though as all the Team Shirou Servants get hit with a case of ‘my master has just been poisoned’ on account of their masters just being poisoned, also Shirou has all their Command Seals now. Also Yggycula comes up to Shirou’s terf and Shirou just starts throwing knives at him like ‘bro you’re a vampire and you walked into a church, the fuck’d you expect’? And we go from Netflix Castlevania to Hellsing Ultimate briefly as Shirou does his best Father Anderson and melts the vampire. We got a little flashback for Shirou a little while ago about him being in the same Grail War as Mr. Yggy Babyeater and if I was paying attention or knew anything about Japanese history I’d have known Shirou was a Servant, not a Master from that though to be fair he does have a human alias and everyone’s surprised he’s still alive after the war like they think he’s just some dude, but yeah basically he seems to be what if Saber lost Shirou and went apeshit and also incarnated to loop the Grail War cycle like Gilgamesh because he’s also a Ruler from before this war started. Seems he was Irisviel’s Servant in this verse and we can’t have a universe where any of the homunculi girls aren’t angst fodder for their male leads so of course she died and now Shirou’s all ‘I’m just keep doing genocide until god strikes me down himself to tell me I’m wrong’ so good luck with that.

Speed Grapher: So they send a Euphoric who can make his tattoos come to life after Ginza who is not down for his superpowered bullshit and has already moved Saiga to a secondary location but she gets marked with his tiny middle finger spider tattoo, guess they put that one in the right place cause it’s a real fuck you to her for kicking his ass. Meanwhile Kagura uses the guy that’s been sexually harassing her in the sensual deprivation chamber to escape by offering herself to him if he lets her step outside and then immediately grabbing an axe and holding herself hostage so she can make her escape, some real character development from her taking charge of the situation, not a perfect plan but it gets the job done. Meanwhile her mom and Suitengu are legit getting ready to sign the paperwork to get married because despite Suitengu not breaking character and pretending to be a romantic he’s also not wasting time on this whole takeover plan. We also get a flashback of Shinzen first meeting her now Alzheimer’s-ridden mother and find out she was actually adopted by the modeling agency because her mom saw her getting harassed by an agent and picked her up on the spot. Though also there’s some magic gene splicing they did on her to make her more ‘perfect’ since she had like two genes out of place or something and the one who did it is Kagura’s dad/the doctor she loved. Really kinda paints a sympathetic picture of Kagura’s mom despite what a bitch she is, like she just wanted to be a model and got roped into an international magic gene therapy ring and became a loveless billionaire because the doctor that transformed her was murdered by a higher power and made to look like he ditched her and now as a result of the gene bullshit her daughter has a tumor that lets her give superpowers to rich assholes by letting them sexually assault her… god this plot is weird when I say it out loud. But yeah turns out Shinzen’s adopted mom got into a car accident on the night Shinzen was out seeing Mr. Dr. Kagura’s dad and got ditched because she was driving down the road REALLY pissed off and that may be why she has such a shitty memory and can barely walk or she could just be old or both idk. Funny thing is Suitengu and everyone talk about not knowing Shinzen’s mom was alive but like she has cameras and staff specifically assigned to her and takes her on walks and shit but guess she never specifically told him about it. Anyway Kagura breaks into her mom’s tower and finds her grandma’s room and Suitengu’s goons find her there. Shinzen backs off signing the marriage certificate because she wants her mom to see it which I’m not entirely sure if that’s out of love or spite for her being pissy about her first marriage attempt. She finds Kagura and Suitengu’s Team Rocket squad in Grandma’s room and is like ‘yo Suitengu wtf bro’ when Kagura starts talking about the eyes wide shut cult of superpowered billionaires he’s been running. She doesn’t seem to believe either of them and for some reason still thinks Suitengu’s just fucking Kagura on the side because she’s really fixated on that and gives him a gun to play Russian roulette with along with Kagura, giving them a 75% chance of survival but playing with their lives. Suitengu’s goons take the gun and try to shoot Shinzen with it but this is why you always fucking use your own guns because turns out there were no bullets and she just wanted them to pull the trigger as a show of faith and apology so she busts out a room full of dozens of kimono girls with automatic rifles because apparently she just had that at the ready at a minute’s notice at like 2am in her marriage certificate ceremony. Luckily Suitengu is Blood Sephiroth and is able to make a Blood Barrier out of blood strands and then turn them into tentacles to Elfen Lied the kimono girls, also killing the poor city worker who was there just because no one that sees his powers can live (except Kagura I guess cause he told his goons to close their eyes). He then uses the blood to do the blood bullet thing from Deadman Wonderland to kill Shinzen’s mom and then choke Shinzen herself out. Kagura desperately tells her mom that her dad didn’t abandon her and was just late and that he loved her even as he was dying and Shinzen dies happy knowing that. Suitengu also has Mr. Dr. Kagura’s Dad’s left arm for some reason so I guess he’s the original Euphoric and is made of a bunch of frakenstein’d body parts that give him blood powers or some shit since he does say “I’m the original’ when talking about Mr. Dr. Kagura’s dad and tells Shinzen that she was always really in the left arm of the man she loved even if it wasn’t him. So yeah now Suitengu’s going to marry Kagura to control the company which she’s like fourteen so that’s kinda fucked up, dunno how the media’s going to spin that one.

Durararax2: Tom takes over the narration and goes on about how everyone needs to chill the fuck out which is fair. Meanwhile Haruna and her teacher crush have turned the Saika army into an actual zombie apocalypse overtaking the town with the same infection types, like can’t believe that’s the most widespread threat with all the weird factions going on here. Izaya has a flashback of Shinra saying how even when Shizuo dies he’ll have a legendary legacy that may exceed his ridiculous exploits since people will be bound to talk about how strong he is. It seems like that ends up getting at the heart of Izaya’s character because that’s kind of what he wanted going into this war for Celty’s head. Meanwhile Shinra’s dad gives Celty her head back and her memory is wiped as expected and she advents like a god from the sky down to the city which is ridiculously cool. Chikage has a ridiculously convoluted plan to pretend to kidnap Masaomi just to get him and Mikado to fucking talk to each other meanwhile Mikado’s about to send Aoba to cap Chikage at the Dollars’ birthplace as Chikage and Namie doxx Masaomi, Mikado and Anri about their parts in leading these huge gang wars. Kujisaki and Varona end up fighting Izaya’s karate girl midboss like this is a scene out of Kill Bill (and Varona has the outfit for it, huh… may be onto something) while Izaya and Shizuo set out to have a Mastermind vs Supertank battle that puts every Batman vs Superman incarnation to shame. So in summary: shit’s about to go down for the tenth time, we really are getting to the endgame here.

Fantastic idea. Let's give it a shot! I would love to see if a creator could and would be able to create a maxis-match classic Ballet Workout Set. Including two simple Tutu's one classic short the other one long. A classic leotard, wrap top, wrap skirt, ankle leg warmers as well as a pair of thigh high ones. All in classic ballet colors black, white and pink. ;) Nothing fancy! If the creator wants some examples what I mean I could provide pics. But that would be so dope! ❤️

#SSSWish I'm half Filipino, but I hardly see any Filipino content in the Sims Community. I would love to own a Maxis Match Barong or Maria Clara dress for formal events in the game. I think it would be a great way to add more representation in the game, especially when I know there are a handful of PilAms and Pinoy players. #SSSWishlist hello! I would love if cc creators can consider making more patterns for Kimono/Yukata (traditional Japanese clothing). I find the in-game versions kinda bland, and there are not many floral Kimonos even though its commonly seen in Japanese festivals. Would appreciate if there's Japanese hairstyle cc with big flowerly accessory to pair with the Kimono too! Same for the male Yukatas, just not floral print maybe. My wish is to have more swatches for the snowboard and skis. If there could be more LED designs, interesting designs and the swatches for kids for T-E boards. It would be great.

The other wish would be to have more Kimono designs in Maxis Match and/or recolors with more patterns. There are so many patterns that I have seen while looking at real life kimonos and there are so many patterns, styles and colors that are missing in the game.

This seems like a fun idea! What I have been wanting for ages (like since TS2 era ages) is a hair style that completely covers one eye, like Violet at the start of The Incredibles. Most of the peekaboo bangs hairs I've seen are a little *too* stylish and I mostly just want one where someone is clearly trying to cover up half their face with it.

#SSSWish - I would love to see a someone put together clothing that accurately reflects the Starfleet uniforms seen on the television shows, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (collar version), "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (colored shoulders) or the later movie uniforms (grey shoulders w/ colored undershirt). I've seen people asking for these uniforms for quite some time now, and I think, if done well, they could be a popular download. A separate chest combadge accessory would be nice too.

Hey there, that #SSSWish thing is a super cool idea! I do have a wish too - I would love to see the EL utility jumpsuit converted for male framed sims. It can be unlocked by creating an override and unchecking the frame restrictions in S4S, but then the body changes to a female frame. So if anybody out there could do that properly, I'd be extremely grateful :3

#SSSWishlist i know i already saw some people here ask for more yukata/kimono swatches here and i would like the say i really do think we need them (not just for the adults but the younger ages too, id like for the toddlers kimono not to have the hifu? vest as well but that sounds more complicated).

My Super Secret Wish is a mod, or even a tweak of an existing mod, that stops toddlers from shying away from hugs they ask for during the “Check Toddler” interaction. It is *so* irritating to see a toddler respond to a❓with a ❤️ and open arms then step back, often with a 💔, and push the adult away. I’ve tried to stop it with MCCC but no luck.

One of my favorite parts of the game is creating a restaurant or a vet clinic, but the employees are impossible to keep satisfied and they all eventually quit. It would be nice if there was a way to keep them permanently satisfied, or at least make it easier. There is a mod for this but it is extremely outdated and doesn't work anymore. If anyone could update it or make a new one that would be great! 😁

Hi ! There is quite a few things I’d like, but I narrowed it down to three “small” things:

- An accessory top with a high neckline and no sleeves - just to hide cleavage - maybe with some lace at the edge ? and several grey and pastel colors please.

- Some accessory prints for shirts, like those tukete has, maybe some aimed at kids and toddlers too ?

- Makeup for kids. Some people let their kids wear makeup in real life, but adult cc makeup don’t look right on kids, so if anyone is interested in trying… I’d like eye-shadow and lipstick, with some discreet options (but you can go all out too of course).

Hello! i’m not sure if its just my game bugging but the male child tiny living hair is broken and i don’t know where to start on fixing it. i tried to find a fix online but found nothing. in my game the hairline for that hair is so bad and its unfortunate cause it used to be my fav child hair. if someone that mods or makes cc could fix it or make a default replacement, i would forever be grateful.

Hello! This #SSSWish is such a fun idea~ Personally, I'd love if someone updated the Plantsims mods that have broken over the numerous updates. Like, G1G2's Revamped Plantsims, Triplis' Plantsim Interactions, and Simonch8's No Cooldown & Trait mods. I've always loved Plantsims since Sims 2 & 3 days, but my knowledge of modding (and especially updating mods) is near nonexistent, so I can't do this myself. #ssswish This is such a lovely idea! There are so many fun wishes! What I’d like to have (and I think would also be useful for other Simmers) is a wedding themed recolor of the “large pile of presents.” I usually put one of those piles in my wedding venue so that the bride and groom can “open presents” together. But the colors that are on the original are not what you usually see on presents at weddings. (I usually opt for the one that is mostly purple, since purple and lavender are my favorite colors.) What I’d like to have are recolors in white, white/gold, and white/silver. Maybe some white/pastels (especially lavender, pink and blue. The white/pastel recolors would also be nice for having a party that you call a “baby shower” especially if yellow and light green were also available. That kind of party isn’t in the game, but it should be!)

I don’t see the #SSSwish I submitted on your public list (I forgot to use the hashtag before) so I’m submitting it again. I would love to see a mod, or tweak of an existing mod, that stops toddlers from pulling away from a hug after they asked for one in response to a Check Toddler. The toddler will hold up its arms with a ❤️ in the speech bubble then step back and refuse the hug, and the relationship takes a hit. I tried MCCC’s tuner to stop it but it didn’t work.

i would love some…chinese cc haha! With snowy escape there’s more build items that can be used, I’ve noticed there tends to be a lot of Japanese inspired cc even before that pack, but not a lot of things from other parts of Asia, especially ancient cultures or cultural items like instruments (decor), clothing, furniture (lohan beds), etc. I’ve gone looking but most of what I’ve found is locked behind chinese-only forums and is usually alpha…I just think it would be cool to see some mm stuff from other places esp as fandoms get more globalized

This is an absolutely fantastic idea! I haven't been able to look around lately but I noticed that most rings/hand accessories aren't compatible with SkinDetail eyelashes. My wish is exactly hand accessories, specifically wedding rings, which don't conflict with SkinDetail eyelashes. It may be helpful to know that plumbobteasociety managed it in their RRS pack. Lastly, you guys rock!

I have another #SSSWish (if you don't mind). I don't know if it already exists but a mod which adds more family relationship options to CAS or the Sim menu. Like grandparents, cousins, step- and half-siblings, step-parents, etc. It would be easier instead of having to create additional Sims just to create diverse relationships.

BnHA Chapter 277: Go Go Child Soldiers

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “hey guys I’m going to kill off Aizawa” and we were like “no you’re not” and he was like “watch me, I’m really gonna do it!!” and we were all “DO NOT” and he was all “okay okay geez.” I don’t know if he thinks he’s being cute or what, but we will probably have to have a little talk after this. Anyway, so other stuff that happened included the obligatory news copter showing up to record the carnage so that All Might and Eri can watch; Tomura activating some Approximately High End Noumus to serve as cannon fodder to distract all the hero extras; and Gran dropping off Kacchan and Deku a little ways away from the battle and being all “stay here”, which was IMMEDIATELY and PROFOUNDLY ignored as they just FLEW RIGHT BACK OVER TO THE BATTLE anyway to save Aizawa. Yep. Kacchan really wants to lose that quirk.

Today on BnHA: Tomura, Deku, Kacchan, and Endeavor all take turns flinging each other into the ground and launching fire and explosions and stuff, all of which is impressively violent and doesn’t really get anything accomplished. The grown-ups all collectively decide to shrug off Deku and Kacchan joining in on the fight as though they’re teenagers sneaking into an R-rated film as opposed to CHILDREN on a BATTLEFIELD, and I can’t help but feel like this very nonchalant decision will have some serious consequences! Tomura has a moment of self-awareness in which he’s all “is AFO possessing me lol” before deciding “NAH THAT CAN’T POSSIBLY BE TRUE” which, haha, okay. The chapter then ends with Mt. Lady unsettlingly taking on Gigantomachia ALL BY HERSELF??! which seems like a REALLY TERRIBLE IDEA?? and had better not result in anything bad happening to her though or I SWEAR TO GOD.

honestly it’s a little uncomfortable to think about the fact that the Child Soldiers That We All Agree Should Under No Circumstances Be A Part Of This War have so far a) saved Hawks’s life and b) now saved Aizawa’s, and by extension c) saved the entire world. I mean but don’t get me wrong, you still won’t see me writing the HPSC any thank you cards any time soon

anyway now that I’ve said all that, watch Aizawa just immediately lose his fucking quirk right afterwards though. WE’LL SEE

and wait though, because this is the first time that the idea of him not being in control of his body has actually been brought up, isn’t it? so that’s a nice big red flag there! up until now the argument could be made that even if AFO’s will is manipulating Tomura from behind the scenes and influencing his decisions, there was nothing to indicate that AFO could potentially take over his entire body. but now that Tomura has brought it up as a possibility -- even if he’s in denial about it -- I’d say it’s not only possible, but extremely likely! so that’s a nice big thing looming on the horizon there

and it also in turn gives us a potential solution to the question of “how can this battle possibly end without all of the heroes dying and/or Tomura losing?” because one has to assume that Aizawa’s quirk is going to be taken out of the picture at some point, whether it’s because of him blinking at the wrong time or being shot with a bullet or what. at which point Tomura would basically become unstoppable again and be free to just destroy everything like he wants. but now this introduces the possibility of him potentially taking himself out of the picture for the time being. like if he realizes that he’s in danger of being outright possessed, I could see him leaving them for now and running off to go wage mental war with himself for a while, giving the heroes some time to regroup and lick their wounds. so that’s interesting to think about

“I don’t want to become like you” -- I think we can take this as confirmation that Tomura will fight against AFO if and when he realizes he’s being manipulated. his loyalty to him isn’t completely blind. so that could have some potentially huge implications moving forward

anyway so his next thought on page 11 is “I want to be even greater than you”, echoing Deku (and Kacchan’s) desire to be even greater than All Might, which is yet another nice parallel between them

Requested by @lina-lovebug: Jaime Reyes x Parker! Fem! Reader? They both have a cruch on eachother and Tye and Ed and Barr tease him a lot about it, and always wonder why he doesn't just ask her out. Jaime just doesn't want to start a long distance since she lives in New York, but when she becomes part of the Young leaguers, now he has no excuse. They go out on a first date, which ends abrupt cuz his friends ended up following him. She kisses him anyway and he walks her back to Mt. Justice.

“Dude, staring at her isn’t gonna do anything.” Eduardo snickered at Jaime.

“There’s this thing called talking, you should try that with her.” Tye shook his head as he tossed the guys a soda, sitting down in the Mount Justice lounge with them.

“Shut up, guys!” Jaime groaned, face burning red.

You and your teammates, Peter Parker and Sam Alexander, were here in Rhode Island on official S.H.I.E.L.D business. This wasn’t your first visit here, so nobody was surprised when none of you had really paid attention to the debriefing back at S.H.I.E.L.D (as per usual), so the trip was taking longer than expected (as per usual). Your twin brother, Peter, was currently trying to work out some sort of deal with Black Canary, you and Sam were not listening. You were both bored, and eventually snuck off to the lounge, where some of the Outsiders were chilling.

“Guys mind if we crash here?” Sam asked them, sitting down next to Bart without an answer.

“Sure.” Tye mumbled sarcastically at him.

“So what do you guys do to avoid meetings around here?” You asked as you leaned against the back of the couch behind Jaime, eyes on the tv, which was currently playing Remember the Titans. Jaime’s eyes widened and he stiffened with how close you were to him, and his friends noticed.

“Usually just run the other direction.” Bart said through a mouthful of chips.

“What’s your meeting about, anyways?” Eduardo asked.

You and Sam both shrugged.

“How many times do we have to visit you guys for you to know we never know what’s going on?” You grinned.

“Yeah, we just follow Web Heads lead.” Sam stole a handful of chips from Bart. “It’s funny how you think we take our job seriously.”

Everyone looked at the both of you, concerned.

“We’re kidding, we take it seriously.” You reassure them. “Just nothing to do with...business meetings.”

“Nova! H/N! Get back here!” Spider Man ordered you. Sam rolled his eyes and took one last handful of chips before putting his helmet on and flying over.

“See ya later, Bug Bro.” You ruffled Jaime’s hair before shooting a web and swinging back over. Jaime’s face was now bright red, and he was clutching his soda can so tight his knuckles turned white. Eduardo and Tye started snickering at him, Jaime throwing his empty soda can at them in retaliation It didn’t affect either of them the way Jaime wanted it to, and they kept laughing at him.

“Why don’t you just ask her out?” Bart asked.

“Because.” Jaime crossed his arms and pouted.

“It’s a simple resolution, dude.” Tye picked up the soda can and tossed it back at him teasingly.

“Just ask her out, amigo!” Eduardo shouted a little too loud. Thankfully, you were too busy getting scolded by Black Canary and Batman to hear. “She obviously likes you, and even a deaf and blind man would know you like her!”

“I can’t ask her out, guys!” Jaime snapped at them, now actually angry. Now they stopped laughing and looked at him, concerned.

“Dude, whats up?” Tye asked his best friend.

“Looks, she lives all the way in New York. I live in El Paso.” Jaime sighed. “There’s no way it would work.”

“But you’re mostly here.” Bart tried to reassure him. “Rhode Island isn’t too far from New York.”

“Asami lives in Japan, we still make it work.” Tye added.

“Asami doesn’t live in Japan. She moved here last week. Don’t think I don’t remember.” Jaime mumbled.

“But before that we had a long distance thing.”

“For like a month while she sorted stuff out with her parents.” Jaime scoffed. “Y/N lives in New York. She’s not moving anytime soon.”

“So...you like her, but you’re not willing to even give long distance a try?” Eduardo raised an eyebrow.

“Well that makes me sound like el huevón, dude!” Jaime snapped. “Look, it just won’t work, okay? Would you guys just drop it?”

The boys all glanced at each other, shocked at Jaime’s outburst. He was always so chill, would hardly even yell at villains, so they almost didn’t recognize him when he was angry. Even Tye didn’t, and he’s known the guy since middle school.

“What’s the ups, dudes? Change the channel, games on.” Virgil waltzed in, snatching the remote from the coffee table.

Virgil didn’t notice the tense atmosphere until his team scored, and he went to high five Jaime, and didn’t get a response.

“Uhh...don’t leave me hangin, bro!” Virgil said, then finally looked at the other boys’ faces. “What’s going on?”

“Nothing.” Jaime grumbled, getting up and walking out to the balcony.

“What’s his deal?” Virgil asked. “I didn’t think it was physically possible for him to be angry...”

“I’ll go talk to him.” Tye rushed after Jaime.

He walked out to the balcony, Jaime sitting on the rail and mumbling to himself, something he often did when he was nervous. Tye would often catch him doing this before math tests or trying a complicated skateboard trick.

“Talk to me, man.” Tye leaned against the railing, resting his chin on his hand.

“I really like her.” Jaime said, just above a whisper. “I don’t know what to do.”

“Well, you can either tell her and try, or never tell her and miss your chance forever.” Tye said nonchalantly, staring out at the city.

“Wow. That makes me feel better.” Jaime chuckled.

“Hey, you can always count on me to be real with you.” Tye nudged him lightly.

“That I can.” Jaime playfully shoved him.

“So? What are you gonna do?” Tye raised an eyebrow.

“I’m not sure yet.”

“Bug Bro!” You shouted, before jumping onto Jaime’s back. He yelped, quickly straightening up and holding onto the backs of your legs to keep you up.

“Warn me next time?” He asked, grinning up at you and you leaned over his shoulder to see his face.

“Sorry.” You laughed, ruffling his hair affectionately. “I have news, bro.”

“What is it, bro?” He asked as he continued making his way towards the kitchen for some lunch.

“Fury gave the green light, I’m joining the Outsiders!” You beamed excitedly.

“What? Really?” Jaime asked, eyes widening in shock.

“Yeah, I’m gonna be a counselor too.” You smiled.

“Why aren’t you staying in New York?” He asked as you hopped off his back and walked next to him.

“I need a change of scenery.” You shrugged. “Some space from my brother. I love him and all, but he never lets me do a lot on missions. Thinks I’ll get hurt or whatever.”

“Is it permanent?” He asked curiously.

“Nothings permanent, Jaime.” You giggled. “But maybe. I do want to help people more directly. I love my team but I just don’t have that kind of opportunity with S.H.I.E.L.D.”

“Yeah...S.H.I.E.L.Ds kinda scary.” Jaime rubbed the back of his neck nervously. “Well, I’m glad to have you on the team, Y/N.”

“Now I’ll be with my Bug Bro all the time!” You grinned, elbowing him playfully.

“Yeah! Totally.” He grinned nervously.

“Dude, what do I even say?” Jaime hyperventilated as he paced back and forth in front of Bart and Tye.

Tye and Bart didn’t really get along, they tolerated each other, but thy weren’t best buds. But when Jaime needed help, they would stop the bickering and work together.

“You got the hard part over with.” Tye shrugged. “She said yes to the date.”

“I know. I thought that was the hard part, turns out it’s not.” Jaime said as he checked himself in the mirror for the thousandth time. “Now I gotta actually make sure she likes me?”

“Well...Yeah?” Bart blinked at his homie. “Dude, just be yourself.”

“But a little less nervous.” Tye added.

“And maybe stop sweating.” Bart nodded.

“Quit worrying about your hair, it hasn’t moved since 2008.”

“Try to flirt a little more.”

“But not too much, you don’t want to come off as an idiot.”

“But you said be myself! None of those things is myself!” Jaime shouted at his friends.

“Be yourself...but calm.” Bart instructed.

“How am I supposed to be calm? I-“

“Dude! You’re late!” Tye yelled when he saw the time, 7 minutes past when Jaime was supposed to leave to pick you up.

“Shit!” Jaime snatched his keys from the dish on the side table. “See you guys later! But what if I mess this up-“

“Go!” Tye and Bart both yelled. Jaime stuck his tongue out at ten before rushing out to his car.

Bart and Tye sat in awkward silence for a few minutes, blankly staring at the tv.

“Wanna follow him?” Bart grinned.

“Oh yeah.” Tye nodded. “Let me call for reinforcements.”

“...and then Danny punched a hole trough the wall and hit Sam on accident.” You giggled as you finished a story about your teammates.

“Isn’t Danny supposed to be the chill one?” Jaime chuckled.

“Apparently.” You shrugged. “To be fair, he had a reason to be mad.”

“I suppose. So-“ Jaime opened his mouth to ask another question, but froze when he saw something: a few tables back and on the row across from them, he saw Tye, Bart, Eduardo and Virgil wearing sunglasses, fake mustaches and their hoods. He instantly glared at them, motioning discreetly for them to leave.

“What are you-?” You turned to look where he was.

“Wait Wait Wait!” Jaime shouted, a little too loudly, gaining the attention of several other customers. He smiled nervously and cleared his throat. “Um...you mentioned earlier a time when Sam crash landed into the White House?”

“Oh yeah!” You laughed, and began the story.

Jaime wanted to pay attention, he really did, but he couldn’t take his focus off his idiot friends. First of all he couldn’t believe Tye agreed to the ‘disguises’. Second of all, he couldn’t believe they were spying on him! Had they no regard for privacy and personal space?? Okay, so, maybe he did believe it.

‘Jaime Reyes, I advise you to focus on the Y/N Parker. She may grow angry if she discovers you are not listening. Shall I activate and obliterate the Tye Longshadow, Bart Allen, Eduardo Dorado Jr and Virgil Hawkins so you may focus properly on the Y/N Parker’s story?’ The Scarab asked.

“No! No obliteration!” Jaime mumbled.

“Is the Scarab talking to you?” You asked curiously.

“Yeah, sorry. He’s been yapping in my ear, it’s hard to concentrate.” He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

“Oh. Well, we can leave if you want.” You smiled and waved over the waitress for the check.

“Please, let me.” Jaime set down his credit card before you could even open your wallet.

“Come on, you drove us here.” You sigh as the waitress took his credit card.

“It’s no trouble, really.” He shook his head. “It’s my fault this is ending so abruptly, it’s the least I can do.”

Once the waitress came back with his card he led to back out to his car, glaring at his friends as you passed the table. They all snickered, quickly paying their bill and piling into Virgil’s car.

“Where’d they go?” Bart asked as he leaned forward, between Virgil and Tye.

“Uh...there!” Eduardo pointed ahead. “¡Dale!”

Virgil stepped on it, following close behind Jaime’s black car. Tye looked at his phone when a text alert went off, seeing a text from Jaime: Quit following me! You’re all dead!

Tye just snickered, before responding with: wow, texting and driving? Not cool, man.

They followed Jaime’s car all the way back to Mount Justice, Eduardo and Bart bickering as they tried to see between the front seats, shoving each other. Virgil parked far behind them, just close enough to be able to see.

You were clueless to the car full of idiots as Jaime walked you up to the entrance. Jaime was well aware, and worried that you would notice them.

‘Jaime Reyes, get her inside quick. Once the door shuts we shall obli-‘

“Scarab, Stop!” Jaime scolded.

“He’s still chatty?” You giggled at Jaime as you reached the doors.

“Yeah, sorry.”

“Don’t apologize. You can’t help that the alien parasite attached to you is talkative.” You smile up at him, making him laugh. “Uh...I had a really good time. Even if it was cut short.”

“Yeah, me too.” He smiled back at you, equally as nervous and awkward.

You both stood there for a few moments, not sure what to do next.

“What are they doing?” Eduardo asked as he shoved Batt aside to see better.

“They’re just standing there.” Virgil shook his head. “Is this dude really not smooth at all?”

“Trust me, hasn’t been smooth ever since we were kids.” Tye shook his head. “Doesn’t have a smooth bone in his body.”

“Actually, I’m pretty sure your bones are smooth-Ow! What?” Bart rubbed his arm where Eduardo punched him.

“Come on, Jaime, do something.” Virgil groaned, starting to get second hand embarrassment for the guy.

Jaime knew he wanted to kiss you, but was it what you wanted? Would you yell at him? Not return it? Never lack to him ever again? Luckily, his anxious thoughts were interrupted when you suddenly craned your neck up to be able to press your lips to his. It was a quick peck on the lips, just to test the waters. He pulled you in for another kiss, and you wrapped your arms around his shoulders to lift yourself up a little higher.

“Finally!” Tye shouted, probably loud enough for the both of you to hear if you weren’t so busy.

“Oh, gross! I said kiss, not suck face!” Virgil pretended to gag.

“Dang, they’re really going at it.” Bart mumbled.

“You guys ruin the mood.” Eduardo shook his head. “Is this what it’s like to date you?”

“First of all, watching someone suck face is way different than sucking face.” Tye said.

“Quit saying ‘suck face’.” Eduardo cringed.

“Second of all, I am a delight to date.”

“Ha!” Virgil snorted, then slapped his hand over his mouth when Tye sent him a death glare. “I mean...yeah dude, who wouldn’t date you? You’re just so...lovely.”

“Uh...guys...Jaime’s coming for us.” Bart warmed.

“Crap! Start the car! Start the car!” Eduardo shrieked as Jaime activates his Blue Beetle suit, flying at them with the thirst for revenge in his eyes.

When it came to collecting hero memorabilia, you’re what your crush Bakugou would call a “damn fuckin’ nerd.”

You couldn’t help it. You loved the rush of finding a vintage All Might themed toaster oven or adding to your collection of Miss Midnight glass perfume bottles. Oh, and of course the thrill of scoring a new addition to your growing bobblehead collection of all of Earth’s best heroes. Even though you were a hero yourself, someone who actually knew a lot of the heroes whose merch you’ve hoarded over the years, you couldn’t deny your cravings. None of your hero friends knew about your collecting hobby. You made it a point to always make sure no one stepped foot in your decked-out apartment. You would never invite anyone over… until tonight.

The words just tumbled out of your mouth. Maybe it was that extra shot of vodka in your drink at the bar, or maybe just the thrill of finally flirting with your crush. Either way, the sentence “wanna come over my place?” flew from your lips and landed onto Bakugou’s ears, where it was met with a devilish grin and a quick nod yes. 

Flash forward, the two of you are side by side in a cab as you start to sober up and realize your mistake. His calloused fingertips ghosting up the side of your thigh almost makes you forget about the fact that your secret is about to be exposed. 

He’s bound to make fun of you, right? He’ll probably think you’re some kind of obsessed freak and never talk to you again.

You open your mouth to make up a lame excuse about being too tired, but then you make eye contact, his crimson irises staring right through you. You so badly want to be his. His magnetic field keeps pulling you in, and as much as you want to backtrack out of a soon-to-be unfortunate situation, the sliver of hope that he’ll understand keeps you hooked. 

But the second you step into your apartment with him and turn on the lights, you regret every action that got you to this point.

There are only mild amounts of paraphernalia scattered throughout your living room and kitchen - nothing too incriminating, but enough to let him know that you’re interested. You place your purse down on the kitchen table, dragging Bakugou’s attention to your salt shakers modeled after Best Jeanist. He plucks them off the tabletop, “Oi, what the fuck?”

If he thinks that’s weird, then he’s in for a treat if he makes it to your bedroom. 

“I got them at a thrift shop,” you manage, “I thought they were, uh, funny…?”

Bakugou replaces them where he found them, stepping behind you as you sort through your bag for your phone, your chest pressed into the bar countertop. His hands grope your waist, dipping beneath the thin fabric of your top to feel your skin. 

“Wanna show me your room?” he asks, attempting to be sultry as he kisses your shoulder, using his thick fingers to push your hair away from your neck so it’s available to his mouth. “Or do you have matching All Might shakers in there?”

You gulp but he chalks it up to the way his tongue laps against your skin. You chuckle hesitantly, turning so you can face him, “Listen, I-”

“Room, now, yeah?” He phrases it like a question but his tone of voice doesn’t lend it to be one; the alcohol making him much more forward and flirtatious than he would usually be. You lose all control when he starts kissing you, his palms sneaking underneath your top to map out the contours of your back. 

He begins to lead you down your hallway to the door he can only presume to be your bedroom. You hesitantly start to open the door, but you’re going far too slow for Bakugou’s liking. He pushes the door open, subsequently slamming you up against the wall and pinning your wrists above your head. He presses his body up against yours, readying to attack your neck with more kisses, but right before he does, his eyes catch a glimpse of the Mt. Lady poster plastered against the wall behind you. 

“Uh…” he stutters out, before starting to take in his surroundings and turning on the lights. And suddenly all is revealed: every limited edition action figure, each kitschy ceramic collectible, and of course, your precious bobblehead collection. “Damn...you like heroes a lot, don’t you?”

“It’s just a hobby!”  you spit out before the anticipated insults. “It started with only a few things but now I just can’t help collecting stuff when I see it in stores. I promise it’s not something super creepy or anything like that!”

Bakugou just nods before walking over to your action figures, his surprisingly calm and understanding reaction causing you to tilt your head in confusion.

“You think they’re true to size?” he asks, holding up one modeled after his own image. He smirks, brushing his thumb down the plastic abdomen popping with muscle, “I mean, I guess I could let you see for yourself.”

You roll your eyes, crossing your arms over your chest, letting yourself relax now that you see he’s not running away. “I think they made the model for that one while you were gone. You sure Deku didn’t stand in for you?”

“Oi!” He whips around, using the action figure to point in your face like it were a stick, “I’m way fuckin’ better lookin’ than that shitty Deku. Take it back.”

“Careful with that!” you giggle, grabbing the doll out of his hands. “It’s a collectible.”

He’s still preoccupied with the figurines of himself, studying them closely as if they might start talking to him if he watches them long enough. Bakugou licks his lips before turning to you, “What do you think about the winter costume?”

“Oh,” you’re surprised by his question, but it urges you to step forward, closing in on his space, “I think it’s really flattering for you. The black long sleeves really bring out the orange in your costume.”

The prideful swell of his chest makes you wonder if he was just fishing for compliments from the beginning. A gentle pink tinge paints his cheeks and you feel your chest restrict at the sight.

“So… you don’t think I’m weird for all of this stuff?” you ask, still half expecting him to laugh in your face before leaving. “I was kinda thinking you’d make fun of me and call me a nerd.”

He scoffs at this before running his fingers through your hair. Smiling, he leans in and whispers, “Oh, I’m definitely going to make fun of you and call you a nerd, but we have more important things to do right now,” before his lips crash into yours.

Okay this has been in my inbox for MONTHS and I'm so sorry for not doing it until now, so to try and make up for it I'll give you headcanons and small drabbles for all three Sinclair boys!

Bo Sinclair

Bo is first of all, very scared

He is second of all very thrilled, especially if it's two baby boys

He probably names them like a week after they're born because he can't think of a name, but I think he'd like something kinda like Alex or Hayden.

Other than the initial fear and the time it would take for him to get used to being woken up at 2 a.m., I think he'd be a good dad

He'd certainly give all sorts of piggy-back rides and when they're old enough he'll teach them stuff about cars or play some sort of sport with them

Is definitely the dad that gets pissed at his kids sports games and it's a little embarrassing when his S/O tells him to calm down

Though even if his boys aren't into that stuff, he'll still love them.

Also he probably thought he was going to get one baby since I'd like to think his S/O wanted it to be a surprise and he almost fainted when he found out there were two

"Bo?" You called from the kitchen. You could've sworn you heard him, or someone at least, enter the front door in a hurry. You hoped you didn't give yourself away to any trespassers or potential victims, but you were sure no one came into town today. A little giggle coming from the doorway tipped you off that it was not in fact your wonderful Bo, but your even more beautiful and mischievous munchkins. A small smile took form on the corner of your lips, "Hayden? Dalton? Is that you two?" Just more giggles answered your call until you felt a large hand clamp down on your shoulder, making you let out a small shriek of surprise and your children let out a chorus of laughs while their poor mother had a heart attack. There was Bo, standing before you, looking the happiest he's ever been and in that moment everything seemed right in the world.

Vincent Sinclair

Honestly a fucking super dad

He adores his two little boys and probably had a ton of names picked out for when they arrived

He likes names like Maxwell or Thomas, something nice sounding or even after an artist

He paints their room to be a starry night sky surrounded by a pretty forest and he thinks that it's only his second best piece of art

They're his first of course

He definitely helped with all his S/O's cravings and made sure she was comfy, but not overbearingly so

He loves to watch the boys play and just be kids

He really hopes that he can give them a better life than what he had

So he's always supportive of what his kids do, and will accept them no matter what they do

He won't let them in on the process of the wax figures until they're like teens, but he'd kinda hope maybe one of them would follow in his footsteps, or at least be interested in art

But he won't be mad if they don't

He was probably terrified that the babies would be conjoined like he was to Bo so he probably made sure that you two got a few ultrasounds and he was so relieved everything went well and they were healthy

One thirty in the morning is when you'd be woken up nowadays, with no more peaceful nights for the foreseeable future. With a great heaving sigh you glanced over to see that Vincent was already hopping out of bed and slipping his mask on. "Vince, honey I got it, you've been on night feeding duty for a day or two now." You yawned out and he waved you off.

You frowned a bit before shrugging, it was too early and too stupid to push. Instead you slipped out of bed and followed him to the nursery that was just a room away and helped him get the boys settled down. He looked so lovely with his hair in a frazzled bun and gingerly feeding Max before rocking him. He looked so peaceful and so happy, you couldn't have asked for a better man to be your partner. When you two put the boys down again, you both trudged to your room and plonked down onto the bed. He wrapped his strong arms around you, and you fell asleep to the thought of what the future would hold for your wonderful family.

Lester Sinclair

Lester is a good, if not a bit of a disaster dad

Like he loves his kids and does his best to take care of them

But like he's also basically the least responsible person and would definitely be the type of dad to let his kids shoot off fireworks in a drainpipe. Of course, telling them to not blow their fingers off

Definitely is the type of dad to be like, "so long as no one gets hurt, I don't care if you blow up Mt. Rushmore" and then hands his kids the firepower needed to blow up a small army

Also says stuff like, "I did that as a kid, and I turned out just fine"

Helps his kids collect bones and stuff and honestly he loves hearing them talk about how they're doing

Since no one ever really listened to him as a kid and he doesn't want his kids to think he doesn't care

He likes it when they talk about school or their friends and is always just so proud of his boys

He might name his boys something like Buck or James

He honestly would stick to more naturey kind of naming schemes, or just after people he's met

Takes his kids out fishing and hunting when they're old enough and teaches them everything they need to know about the wilderness

They often stay out camping for a few days when the boys get older and it's such a good bonding experience for them all

He is only ever nice and sweet to his boys and will always love them, even if he is a bit unorthodox in his parenting

"Momma look!" Your son excitedly babbled as he ran up to the porch where you were enjoying a nice cup of lemonade, his brother and father trailing behind.

"I caught a rabbit Momma, a nice one. Can we eat it tonight?" Sloane held up his rabbit and waved it around wildly. You couldn't help but chuckle a little at how much he resembled his father sometimes.

You gave it a quick once over and nodded before giving him a quick kids on the head and saying, "Go put that on the counter and I'll get to it quick. You go wash up, you're all dirty."

A cry left the boy's throat, "But Sloane always gets one!" There was a pause and a small sigh, "I just don't want to let you down or be the worse twin."

"Son you listen to me. You could never ever let me down. I don't care if you're not good at hunting as Sloane is, because you're good at other things that make me just as proud of you. They stayed there for a while and soon came inside when you were done skinning and bleeding the rabbits, and that night Buck seemed much happier than he had been in the morning. You were proud of all your boys, and you wanted nothing more than for all of them to be happy.

misdreavus?

YESSSSSSSS MISDREAVUS!!!!!

Misdreavus is an absolute favourite of mine, and the pre-evolution of my current #1 favourite pokemon overall. It’s a pokemon I’ve got a long history of adoring at this point, and is also the first Ghost-type I’m reviewing, which happens to be my favourite type as well. I wasn’t actually all that fond of it as a child, though, because child me had trash taste, but it’s not atypical for kids to have trash taste so whatever. I love it now and that’s what matters!!! This cute lil spookster is gonna be gettin’ pure praise from me! It’s got a great colour scheme, great hair, and an expression that exudes the sort of chill-yet-mischievous vibes I love most in a pokemon.

Basis-wise, Misdreavus is probably the most “traditional” ghost, albeit with a bit of banshee mixed in with its title of Screech Pokemon and its propensity for startling people. It has a clear resemblance to a floating disembodied head as well, perhaps indicating an additional basis in the youkai nukekubi, a human-like being whose head can detach and fly around at night. It uses its necklace-like red orbs to absorb fearful emotions from people, which it converts into nourishment, effectively eating fear. Eating fear is a concept I’m sure I’ve seen before, but it’s a great concept for a ghost especially, since it provides an incentive for scaring people and justifies so much otherwise-baseless ghostly behaviour! Like, of course a ghost would be scary, if that’s how it eats!

The scariest thing Misdreavus can do, though, is my absolute favourite attack! Perish Song is a move that makes it so both the user and all pokemon present to hear it will spontaneously faint in three turns. The only way to avoid it is by switching out, which led to it being paired with a move that prevents switching, Mean Look. This strategy, known as Perish Trapping, was somewhat notorious in Gen II’s competitive scene and has occasionally seen fringe use since, with Misdreavus being the strategy’s best user when the technique first emerged.

As marvelous as Misdreavus is, though, its design actually took a fair bit of time to actually finalize. We know from the GS beta releases that Misdreavus was a very late addition to the games, absent from the 1997 beta and then added to the 1999 version in Norowara’s slot (a creepy doll made of straw). Its sprite was also somewhat unfinished-feeling even in the final game, with very inaccurate indigo and magenta colors. What’s really interesting, though, is that its original artwork seems intended to communicate something entirely different from what we ended up with: iridescence. Notice here how the pink bits aren’t uniformly distributed at the hair tips; they’re placed seemingly randomly. The anime was quick to simplify this to just the tips, but Stadium 2 actually left its hair a solid teal color and then gave the entirety of its body a unique pink shine effect. It’s sad that such a unique design feature ended up getting dropped when the designs got more standardized in Gen IV; I suppose consistency with the anime was just higher priority. Beyond the color, its hair also used to be much less defined, just sort of being a wavy amorphous mass. This would get toned down in XY, though, with its hair becoming a consistent seven tendrils once 3D models became a focus.

Regardless, Misdreavus is pretty much perfect, but there is a major criticism to be had: its distribution in its original appearance. I talked about this with Zorua, but one key to a pokemon’s popularity is actually being able to USE it, and nobody could have conceivably used Misdreavus in the Gen II games because it never appears until Mt. Silver, the VERY final area in the games. Sneasel was in a similar predicament in GS, but that got fixed in Crystal by moving it to Ice Path, whereas poor Misdreavus never got a proper playable role in Gen II at all. This did get fixed with Cliff Cave in HGSS two generations later (which messed up Sneasel again!!!), but by then Misdreavus had already gotten eclipsed in popularity by its evolution.

Unfortunately, Misdreavus is also one of those pokemon cursed by a pukey green shiny, but it’s not like it was gonna improve upon such a fantastic base colour scheme anyway. Teal with pink is just too good to beat, y’know? It was more of a chartreuse in past generations, having some bright citrus vibes, which I think was superior even if less ghostly. Wish XY didn’t arbitrarily decide to make some shinies worse.

But yeah, I absolutely love Misdreavus. I vibe with its nefarious trickster demeanour more than nearly any other pokemon, and whilst it’s kinda been usurped by its evolution as my #1 favourite for awhile, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. There’s really no improving upon this precious perish baby uwu
