They're brothers sure, and they still care for one another deeply. But it had been decades, life had moved on, Bodie'd learned to handle the grief of his family being dead, he'd learned to live with it, to build himself a new support group, a little family that he formed from a bunch of weirdos he'd found around the place. He couldn't just move on from that.

Even then it wouldn't be easy for Rolden, he'd just gotten out of a torturous pit, his brother is suddenly a grow ass gator, nothing like the kid he used to know. He'd lived an entire life and Rolden knew nothing about it. They didn't know each other anymore, they just knew the remnants of the kids they once were

They'll try though, of course they'll try, and who knows they'll probably be family once more...but it'll never be the same. There will always be that tiny gap between them that will never be bridged

My Hero Chapter 3: The Party Continues!

A/N: So i have my friend look over each chapter before i post it. The same friend who's brain child is Rukea. And she fangirled hard over this chapter so here's just a little friendly warning. Might cause fangirl attack.

Aurora's POV:

"Hi I'm Toshinori."

"Hi. I'm Aurora." I say with a smile. The boy was sorta sickly but adorable in a strange way.

"You're really good." He says.

"Thanks." I say with a smile and he blushes a little.

Just then Aizawa comes over. "Tell Hizashi I don't want to sing."

"What?" I ask confused.

"Hizashi is trying to get me to sing a song with him but I don't want to."

"Why not you have a really good singing voice. Please?" I give him the biggest puppy face my eyes starting to tear up.

Mic's POV:

When I look over to see where Aizawa had gone I quickly find him with Aurora. She had the most heart wrenchingly adorable look on her face. She looked so sad as if she was about to cry. My first instinct was to hug her and ask her not to cry, my second was to smack Aizawa for making her look so sad. 'Why do I feel this strongly about a girl I just met?' I think. 'I have no reason to be protective over her. I mean yeah she's cute, beautiful, gorgeous even. But to feel this strongly about a girl I don't even know... Hizashi get a hold of your self man'

I was so deep in thought that I didn't even notice that Aurora, Aizawa and the other boy Aurora was talking to had walked over.

"Hizashi!" Aurora said smacking my arm. She was really close to me so that I could hear her without her yelling and I could feel the blush that began to dust across the bridge of my nose. "I got Aizawa and Toshinori to agree to preform with us." She said with a smile that tugged at my heart and made my face hotter. Made worse by the stage lights that were already on me.

"T-that's great." I managed to choke out with only a small bit of stuttering. 'Man I must look and sound like a fool!' I thought. "W-what song?" 'Stop looking like a damned fool Hizashi!'

"This is war." She says. 'Her eyes look amazing reflecting the lights' I think. 'No stop! But she's so pretty'

When the song ends we all get ready to play or sing. Aizawa and I sing and Aurora plays the guitar while Toshinori plays the drums.

Third person POV:

Mic: A warning to the people. The good and the evil. This is war. To the soldier, the civilian, the martyr, the victim. This is war. It's the moment of truth and the moment to lie. The moment to live and the moment to die. The moment to fight, the moment to fight, to fight, to fight.

I believe in nothing, but the beating of our hearts. (As Hizashi sings this line he can't help but think of Aurora, who's standing next to him playing, and her smile. The thought brushes the bridge of his nose red again and this time it rises into his cheeks. At the same time when the line is sung Rukea finds herself staring at Aizawa and thinking back to their match and how much her heart was beating when he had offered her a hand up. She recalls how she told Hizashi she thought Aizawa was cute. And she realized in that moment, the same moment that Hizashi realizes that he might have a crush on Aurora, that she without a doubt has a crush on Aizawa.)

Aizawa: I believe in nothing. One hundred suns until we part. I believe in nothing. Not in satin not in god. I believe in nothing not in peace and not in war. I believe in nothing but the truth of who we are.

Aurora's POV:

Throughout the entire song I couldn't take my eyes off of Hizashi. He is so confident up here. 'He's cute too'. I think. I blush a little and hope he doesn't look over at me. 'I just met him.' 'Doesn't mean he's not cute' My inner voice tells me. I begin arguing with myself while playing the song. It was a good thing I always sing and play it with Aizawa or I would have gotten lost. I could swear he's blushing a little and he just glanced at me. I'm probably crazy, and it's probably the stage lights that are making his face red.

By the time the song was over I was already sweating a lot.

Walking off stage I grabbed a towel and wiped my face.

"That was cool!" Rukea says coming over to me. "I'm impressed I didn't think that Aizawa could sing that well."

"Oh why is that?" I ask drinking some water.

"He seems like too much of a stick in the mud."

I burst out laughing. "He is. I had to beg him to even do it tonight. Normally he doesn't sing. The only time he has was when we were kids and I stayed at his house because my mom was out of town on business trips."

"Ah. So he doesn't sing now?"

"Not unless he's helping me write music. And then only if it's a duet and I promise him a Christmas cat."

"I'm sorry a what?" Rukea looked completely confused. And for a second I didn't understand why until I realized what I said and that she only just met Aizawa and me.

"A Christmas cat. You see almost every year I manage to do something to make Aizawa mad so I get him a cat for Christmas."

"And you've done this how many times now?"

"Um the past two years. But he has three cats. He loves them, and sleeping."

Rukea starts laughing really hard.

"What are you laughing at?" Aizawa asks walking over.

Rukea's POV:

I immediately stop laughing and a blush spreads across my face. 'Good thing it's dark in here' I thought.

"You don't have to stop laughing on my account." Aizawa says with a smart ass sounding chuckle. This,of course makes me blush more.

"I didn't. I was done laughing. By the way you sounded pretty cool up there. For a cat loving insomniac."

Both Aurora and I start laughing so hard we have to lean against each other in order to stay standing.

Aizawa glares at Aurora who says. "Hey I didn't tell her the insomniac part!" In between fits of laughter.

"Then how did she know?"

While still laughing I tell him. "She is standing right here and SHE figured it out from the bags under your eyes."

Finally Aurora and I were able to get a hold of ourselves as Toshinori walks over and asks Aurora is she would like to dance. She says yes and they go off then Aizawa and I decide to step outside to get some fresh air and to get away from the loud music.

"So have you really known Aurora as long as she says?" I asked just tryinig to get a feel for what their friendship is like.

"Hm. Ro? Yeah I've known her since the day after she was born. You see her father isn't in the picture and her mom and my mom were pro's together. So they stayed good friends. Well after Ro's dad left and her mom was looking for a place to live that wasn't too much because she was a single mom, my mother suggested she move into the place that was for rent next door. And well she did, when Ro was born her mother couldn't afford to take maternity leave so my mom babysat her. I was two at the time." He chuckles slightly. "We were raised together in all honesty. And she still drives me crazy. I remember when she found out about her quirk. She thought she didn't have one and she was always jealous of mine. But I used to tell her 'everybody is quirkless in my eyes so don't worry about it. Anybody gives you a hard time send them to me'. Then she wanted to learn how to play the guitar and well we found out real quick she had a quirk."

I laugh a little bit at his story and think 'I'm glad he has that attitude about the quirkless. That means that he and Shiro will get along well'. "Was she happy when she found out?"

"Oh yeah." He chuckles. "The neighborhood wasn't the same the day we both threw a tantrum. Aurora kept freezing people and shooting fire balls at them while I canceled out everyone's quirk who came near us."

"What the hell were you two so upset about?!"

"You know for the life of me I still can't remember. I just remember I was really upset."

"Wow. You were both little monsters."

"She still is." He laughs.

I could tell by the tone in his voice that he cared for her a lot. 'Great. I like a guy who probably loves somebody else. Just my luck.'

Aizawa's POV:

'I wish she would stop asking me questions about Ro.' I thought. 'I want to get to know her... Maybe I can redirect the conversation.'

"So what bout you and Hizashi? How long have you known each other?"

"About five years now."

"He your boyfriend?" I asked thinking, 'No since beating around the bush.'

She burst out laughing harder that she was laughing inside with Aurora. She almost fell over she was laughing so hard so I caught her and kept her upright. I blushed a little as I held her up. 'Yeah I think I might like her.' I thought. 'Not that I'm going to do anything about it at this moment. I want to get to know her first.' However looking at her in my arms like this it was hard to ignore the fact she was really beautiful. Her black hair framed her face well and her blue eyes almost twinkled as she laughed.

"Was it something I said?"

She laughs harder which I truly at this point didn't think was possible.

"N-No... (laughing) H-hizashi and I are not. (laughing). Not dating, Not now not ever."

She continues to laugh for the next several minutes and when I think she's done she just laughs more. When she's finally done laughing she stands up right and takes deep breaths trying to catch it after all the laughing. "There is not a chance in hell that Hizashi and I would EVER date. He's like a brother to me. Besides I'm pretty sure he's going to have a thing for Aurora."

"He is? How can you tell?" I say concerned. 'If he thinks he can touch my sister without my approval he's got another thing coming.'

Rukea's POV:

I could literally feel the heart break as he sounded concerned about somebody liking Aurora. 'Maybe he likes her..' I thought 'I mean they have been friends forever. Maybe he's developed feelings for her'

Toshinori's POV:

Normally I don't like dancing but I Aurora made it seem like fun. We even went on stage and danced with Hizashi so that he wouldn't be on stage alone. He was a really good DJ. And it was cool hanging out with other people now that I'm in this school though I need to work on controlling the One for All better, least I don't break my bones every time anymore.

"Hey Toshinori you ok you look like you're off in another world." Aurora said looking up at me with worried purple eyes.

I smile reassuringly at her. "Yeah I'm ok really." I hold out my hand and she takes it and we start dancing again. When Hizashi puts on a slower song I take Aurora to the dance floor and we start dancing.

Mic's POV:

I put on the slow song and turn to ask Aurora if she wants to dance with me but just before I can turn and get the words out Toshinori already has her hand and is taking her back to the dance floor. 'Damn it' I think as I feel a small pout form on my lips. I shake it away and quickly take a drink of my water bottle. 'What does it matter its not like she's yours. Besides you just met her. You are not allowed to be this protective over someone you just met.' Leaning up against the DJ table I sink into my thoughts since I already have the next three songs queued up to play automatically. I had always believed in love at first sight. Musically speaking it makes since to me, you hear a love song playing in your head. I know its silly but the musician and poet in me want to believe in it. And besides I know its real. My parents are living proof of that. They met in middle school. I remember my dad telling me that from the moment he saw mom he knew that he was going to marry her.

When I saw Aurora at the entrance exam she was sitting in front of me and Rukea. When I say her I just heard love song after love song playing in my head. Which didn't get better after seeing her fight at the exam. And its not better now knowing she can sing and play the guitar and she loves music. She's so strong and pretty. Bet she's smart too, she would have to be in order to skip a grade. 'I just wish I wouldn't look like a fool around her!' I screamed in my head.

Rukea's POV:

Laughing at Aizawa again I tell him. "My quirk isn't super speed. I told you that."

"Then what is it?" He asks and I can tell he really wants to know.

I hold up a figure and one of the needles comes out. "My body produces a bunch of extra chemicals and chemical reactions that are found in the brain and stores the excess for me to use as a weapon. The most common is adrenalin. I shot myself with adrenalin before the fight which allowed me to move superfast as if I did have super speed."

"That's so cool." Aizawa says with a half smile.

'Stop being so cute!' I think. 'It's not fair!'
