Imagine making out with Logan for the first time, not even at the point where your lips meet but he’s desperate for you, heavy hands and low eyes. His facial hair tickles at he whispers against your skin, sweet nothings that don’t quite meet your ears but leave you wanting all the same, fingers tangled in his dark hair as he nips at the sensitive skin of your throat. Open-mouthed kisses trailing from your collarbone to your face, pulling away just enough to see his blown-out pupils staring a hole through you.
You both catch your breath, take a moment to indulge—the sound of your panting, his hand anchored firmly against your back, the tension that makes both of you on edge. It’s electrifying, exhilarating and dangerous at the same time; you don’t know what’s going to happen next, but you know more than anything else than you want it.
Logan’s the first to break the silence, a hand against your cheek as he says—
“Let me kiss you baby.”
It’s far more gentle than you expect from him, a man known for his razor sharp edges, but his vulnerability makes you melt. Again, he asks, peppering you with kisses everywhere but where you need them, avoiding your lips until you give him permission.
“Lemme kiss you, please,” he begs, lips brushing against yours. “Can I?”
The soft tone in his voice makes you whine. A nod, a tug forward, and suddenly he’s devouring you, teeth grazing against your bottom lip, kissing you like he’s starving for it. It makes you dizzy, makes you hold onto the lapels of his jacket as the two of you messily stumble to the wall, fitting against each other like two pieces of a puzzle.

“Hey, you want to know something?” Sarah said, approaching you as you sat quietly at a table, lost in thought. Beside her, two girls: one had mid-length brown curls and sun-kissed blonde highlights, gave you a friendly grin, her energy light and approachable. The other had wavy, jet-black hair that framed her face, her features both sharp and effortlessly beautiful. They were stunning, you thought, in a way that felt both comforting and a little intimidating. “I never liked her. Even back when she and my brother were together, I never got along with Chiara.”
The girl with the highlighted curls nodded, sliding into the seat next to you. “Same here. There’s always been something... off about her,” she agreed, scrunching her nose in a way that made you smile. “Oh! I’m Kiara, by the way,” she added quickly. “Different spelling than Chiara, but I promise we’re nothing alike.”
The girl with the wavy black hair gave a little wave as she took the seat across from you, her smile warm and easy. “And I’m Cleo,” she introduced herself with a slight accent. “Can’t say I disagree with Sarah and Kie here. Chiara’s just... kind of a staple at these things. She’s always been around, so the guys still invite her out of habit.”
“And if they didn’t, she’d probably throw a tantrum,” Sarah added, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
You felt a warmth creeping into your cheeks as you looked at the three of them, surprised by how welcoming they were. “Thanks, girls. I’m Y/N, by the way,” you said shyly, offering a small smile.
“Girl, we know who you are,” Cleo came to sit on your side and nudged you softly. “But don’t worry, you’re part of the group now—Chiara who?” she joked, making you all laugh.
You cleared your throat, glancing between the three girls who were deep in conversation. The question had been sitting heavy on your mind since the moment you met Chiara. “So… Rafe and her—did they used to date?”
The girls exchanged a look, the brief silence almost uncomfortable. It was as if they were weighing their words, deciding what to say or what to hold back. Their reluctance only made you want answers more. Who was Chiara to Rafe, really?
Finally, Sarah glanced away, a frown crossing her face. “It’s… complicated.”
You couldn’t help but lean in, unable to stop the curiosity stirring in your chest. “How complicated?” you pressed. “Were they exes? Friends with benefits? Did they break up right before Rafe and I got together? Or was it just her holding on to a crush he never—”
Kiara gently placed a hand over yours, her eyes warm and understanding. “Y/N, it’s okay. You don’t have to overthink it, alright?”
You sighed, the uncertainty making your stomach twist. “I just wish I knew what they are—or were—to each other. Rafe hasn’t said a word about her. Not a thing.”
Cleo gave you a sympathetic look, and Sarah hesitated, biting her lip as though weighing whether to say more. Finally, she began, “Wait, so he really didn’t tell you about what they—”
But Sarah’s words were cut off abruptly as Rafe’s voice broke through the noise of the party. “Sweetheart, can we talk?”
The girls turned toward him, their expressions ranging from surprise to mild disgust.
Kiara shot him a skeptical look, brows raised. “Who did he just call ‘sweetheart’?”
Cleo’s eyes widened as she put her hands up in mock innocence. “Definitely not me.”
Sarah shook her head, holding back a laugh. “Don’t look at me. My brother’s never called me any nickname. So, nope, not me either.”
Their eyes turned back to you, and it clicked. Rafe’s gaze was fixed on you, his face serious, almost imploring. You fidgeted with your hands, glancing over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of Chiara. She was a few steps away, engrossed in a conversation with JJ, yet her eyes were unmistakably trained on you and Rafe. Her expression was unreadable, something between irritation and curiosity, and the ambiguity of it only frustrated you more.
Rafe’s voice softened, his eyes searching yours. “Y/N, let’s go. Please?”
“I’m serious about her, Chiara,” was what Rafe replied earlier, his voice firm but before you could register the words, Chiara grabbed his arm, pulling him toward the garden without so much as a second glance in your direction, leaving you alone in the middle of the party—feeling like a complete idiot.
You weren’t sure how to feel about Rafe’s words. It was exactly what you’d hoped to hear, but his delivery had been off, and the way he left with her immediately afterward left a sour taste. You remember watching them through the windows. Their conversation looked intense. Chiara’s hands moved wildly, gesturing with a frustration that seemed matched by Rafe, who kept sighing and tossing his arms up in exasperation. Whatever they discussed, it was clearly charged.
But now, Rafe was standing in front of you, his expression unreadable as he asked to talk. About what? You didn’t know. Maybe he’d finally explain who Chiara was to him or put to rest the suspicion twisting in your gut, though you doubted he would. Instead of lingering on the countless possibilities, you took a steadying breath, nodded, and followed him outside.
The night air was cool, a stark contrast to the party’s warmth, and you found yourself standing on the porch beside him, facing the quiet street. For a moment, silence fell between you, thick and awkward, as if neither of you knew where to begin. He glanced at you and you felt a flicker of anticipation mixed with unease, wondering what he’d say—if he’d finally give you the answers you were looking for.
Rafe leaned against the porch railing, arms folded, his gaze fixed somewhere over your shoulder. “Look... Chiara just… she doesn’t handle change well,” he said, his tone flat, almost dismissive. “She’s just… used to things being a certain way. She's dramatic."
You crossed your arms, holding back the questions building up. “Right. So, she drags you outside because she’s feeling… what? Dramatic?”
He glanced at you, then quickly looked away, jaw tightening. “It’s not like that,” he said, his voice clipped. “She’s… she’s just not used to seeing me with someone else.”
You raised an eyebrow, trying to keep your tone light. “Oh, so I’m the problem?”
Rafe sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “No, it’s not you. It’s…” He paused, as if weighing how much he wanted to say. “She just thinks… I don’t know, she has her own ideas about things. She probably assumed things were the way they used to be.”
You frowned. “Used to be?” The question slipped out before you could stop it, and when Rafe didn’t answer right away, you continued. “So, you two were… what? Together?”
He shook his head. “Not exactly. Things just... overlapped for a while. It was just… a thing. A long time ago.”
Your patience was wearing thin. “And by ‘a long time ago,’ you mean… what? Last week? Last month?”
Rafe exhaled sharply, his frustration bubbling to the surface. “Shit, why does it matter? Whatever it was, it’s over, alright? I didn’t think I had to spell it out for you.”
“Maybe you do need to,” you shot back, feeling your cheeks heat. “I think I deserve to know when I’m about to walk into a situation where some girl is going to pull you away and act like I’m the one intruding.”
Rafe’s jaw tightened, and he leaned in slightly, his eyes narrowing. “She’s not just ‘some girl.’ She’s… someone I’ve known for a while. And she’s… complicated. Okay?”
“Right. ‘Complicated.’” You let the word hang in the air, dripping with sarcasm. “I’m sure it’s just so complicated that you couldn’t even bother to tell me about her before dragging me into this.”
He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away. “It’s not like that. I just… I didn’t think she’d show up here. I didn’t think it would matter.”
You shook your head, folding your arms tighter around yourself. “Well, maybe it does matter, Rafe. Because from where I’m standing, it looks like she has some claim on you.”
"What?" Rafe’s eyes flashed with irritation, and he straightened up, clearly done with the conversation. “Look, she doesn’t have a fucking ‘claim’ on me. It’s nothing. Just… drop it.”
The bluntness of his words stung, and you took a steadying breath, keeping your voice as even as possible. “Fine,” you said coolly, shrugging as if you weren’t affected. “But you might want to let her know that.”
He shook his head, muttering something under his breath before his gaze met yours again. “You’re overthinking it. She’s… she’s just used to being a part of my life, and now things are different. She’ll deal with it.”
You raised an eyebrow, tilting your head slightly. “Funny, because from where I was standing, it didn’t look like she was planning to just ‘deal with it.’ It looked like she was… I don’t know, trying to stake her territory or something.”
Rafe sighed, looking away again. “That’s just how she is. She’s always… been intense. Doesn’t mean anything.”
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes, feeling a mix of frustration and something uncomfortably close to jealousy. “So, I’m just supposed to ignore it? Pretend she didn’t pull you, my boyfriend, outside to… to lecture you about me?”
“Exactly,” he replied, his tone abrupt. “It’s just noise. Don’t pay her any mind.”
The simplicity of his response only fueled your irritation. “Right. Because I should just… ignore all of this and act like nothing’s wrong.”
“Look, I didn’t ask her to make a scene,” he said, his voice sharper now. “And I didn’t think she’d come here tonight. She just… showed up, okay?”
You paused, studying his expression, which was a mixture of defensiveness and something else you couldn’t quite place. “So, what’s the story with her?” you asked, trying to keep your tone casual, though you knew it was anything but.
Rafe let out a frustrated breath. “There’s no ‘story,’ alright? She’s just… she was around for a while, that’s it. We had… an understanding.”
You raised an eyebrow, the vagueness of his answer only adding to your frustration. “An understanding,” you repeated slowly, crossing your arms tighter. “Well, it seems like she didn’t quite get the memo that whatever ‘understanding’ you had is over.”
He shifted uncomfortably, glancing toward the house as if hoping someone would interrupt. “She’ll get over it. I just didn’t expect her to… make it a whole thing.”
“Maybe she made it a whole thing because you haven’t made it clear to her that it’s… nothing,” you said, emphasizing his own words back to him.
Rafe’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Why are you making this such a big deal? It’s not like we're actually together. This" he said, moving his fingers between you two "—is fake, in case you forgot.”
“Oh, right, because it’s so normal for the girl you used to have… whatever with to show up at a party and act like I’m the one intruding.” You shook your head, exasperated. “Forgive me for wanting to understand the situation.”
He shrugged, still not meeting your eyes. “It’s just… old history. Not worth bringing up.”
“Then maybe you should have thought of that before dragging me into this,” you shot back, your voice laced with frustration.
He finally met your gaze, his jaw set. “Dragging you into what? It’s not like I invited her here.”
You raised an eyebrow, challenging him. “Did you invite me here to watch your past blow up in front of us?”
Rafe let out a bitter laugh. “This is what I get for trying to bring you around my friends. Next time, I’ll keep it strictly professional. How’s that?”
You felt a pang of hurt, but you masked it with a tight smile. “Perfect. I’ll remember that for next time, Rafe.” You turned away, taking a few steps back toward the house, hoping he’d get the hint that you were done.
But Rafe’s hand closed gently around your wrist, stopping you. “Wait.” His voice was low, reluctant, but there was a softness there you hadn’t expected.
You turned, catching his gaze, which had softened just slightly. “What?”
He hesitated, then let go of your wrist, his fingers lingering just a moment longer. “I just… I didn’t expect her to react this way. I thought… things were clear between us.”
“Clearly, they’re not,” you replied, unable to keep the edge from your tone.
Rafe sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’ll try to talk to her, alright? Make sure she understands. But can we just… leave it here?”
You watched him, seeing the frustration, the tension in his shoulders, and you knew he wasn’t about to tell you any more than he already had. So, instead of pushing it further, you forced a casual shrug. “Fine. Whatever. It’s none of my business anyway, right?”
A flicker of something passed across his face—surprise, maybe, or regret. “Right. It’s not,” he said, though his voice was quieter, as if the words didn’t sit right with him.
You nodded, biting back the urge to say anything more. “Great. Glad we’re on the same page.”
An awkward silence settled between you, the tension thick and unresolved. Rafe shifted, glancing toward the house. “We should get back. People will start talking if we’re both out here too long.”
You let out a humorless laugh. “Oh, we wouldn’t want that, would we?” The sarcasm was sharp, but you didn’t care; you were too irritated to soften it.
He shot you a look, somewhere between exasperation and apology, but said nothing as he turned to head back inside. You followed a few paces behind, feeling the weight of the conversation pressing down on you, every unanswered question lingering like a shadow.
Before reaching the door, Rafe paused, his hand resting on the doorknob as he glanced back at you. “Listen…” He hesitated, as if searching for the right words. “It’s… just a lot, okay? Give me some time. I’ll sort it out.”
You held his gaze, unsure whether to believe him, but you nodded once. “Fine. But make it clear, Rafe. I’m not here to play second fiddle to some girl from your past. My life is on the line and I don't have time to worry about this sort of thing.”
He opened his mouth to respond, but whatever he was about to say, he swallowed back. Instead, he gave a tight nod and pushed open the door, slipping back into the noise and light of the party. You followed him and plastered on a fake smile while wondering if you’d ever get the truth out of him.
For the next hour, you put on a mask, pretending everything was fine—like nothing happened. But no matter how hard you tried to push the thoughts away, they lingered, clouding every moment. What was Rafe and Chiara’s relationship? You forced yourself to focus on the laughter, the music, and the warmth of the people around you, determined to enjoy the night with Rafe’s friends. Yet every so often, your mind drifted back to Chiara and Rafe, leaving an uncomfortable knot in your stomach.
Rafe took you around the room, introducing you to his teammates: Topper Thornton, Kelce Miller, JJ Maybank, Pope Heyward, and John B Routledge. They each greeted you with a friendly smile and a welcoming vibe. You found yourself particularly drawn to Topper's lighthearted humor and Pope's quiet charm, making it a bit easier to relax. But it was the girls who truly helped lift your spirits. Their energy was infectious, and you quickly found yourself laughing and swapping stories as if you’d known them forever.
Just as you were in the middle of an animated conversation, you heard someone call out, "Miss supermodel!" You turned to see Topper staggering toward you with a mischievous grin, clearly several drinks deep. “Come drink with us! You haven’t had a single sip all night!”
You couldn’t help but smile as he swayed slightly, holding up a red cup with a challenging look. He finally came in front of you and you had to shake your head. “I’m sorry, Topper. I can’t drink tonight. I’m on contract.”
He whined and threw his head back. “Why? A little sip won’t hurt you, right? Come on, please.”
You laughed, shaking your hands as he pouted dramatically, swaying slightly. “Topper, you’re wasted! I think you’ve had enough for both of us.”
He held his heart in mock offense. “Oh, come on! Just one tiny sip!” He held out the cup, swirling it a little as if to tempt you. “Look, it’s just tequila! You can handle tequila, right?”
You hesitated, glancing down at the cup and then back at his hopeful face. “I really shouldn’t… If anyone from the agency finds out, I’m in trouble.”
“Who’s gonna know? It’s just us here, right?” He looked around, grinning mischievously. “Your secret’s safe with me. And, hey, you can’t just let me be the only one embarrassing myself tonight.”
You sighed, rolling your eyes playfully. “Alright, one sip. But that’s it, okay?”
Topper’s eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning. “Yes! That’s all I’m asking for.” He held out the cup, his face eager with anticipation.
You took the cup from him, feeling the weight of all the eyes on you as his friends turned to watch, clearly amused by the scene. Raising the cup to your lips, you took a big sip, the tequila burning as it went down. You scrunched your nose at the taste, earning a round of cheers from Topper and the girls.
“There we go! Wasn’t so bad, was it?” he laughed, throwing an arm around your shoulders.
“Awful,” you teased, wiping your lips. “But now you can’t say I didn’t drink with you.”
Topper gave you a victorious grin. “I knew you’d come through! You’re practically one of us now.”
You should’ve known.
Less than an hour later, you were stumbling across the living room, thoroughly tipsy and clinging to Kiara, who was somehow even more drunk than you. The two of you were giggling uncontrollably, reduced to hysterics over the silliest things—the pretzels shaped like animals, the crooked painting on the wall. Every little thing was hilarious, and the alcohol only seemed to amplify your laughter and loosen your inhibitions.
Lost in your little bubble, you didn’t notice Rafe watching from across the room, his gaze sharp and unblinking as he kept tabs on you. He hadn’t seen you like this before—free-spirited, a little reckless, and definitely wilder than he was used to. He couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched you shout out something along the lines of, “Everyone should just strip already!” before lifting the hem of your top, ready to make good on your words.
That was Rafe’s cue. In a flash, he crossed the room, slipping his hands over yours before you could pull your shirt over your head. His touch was firm, grounding, a stark contrast to the chaos around you. "Whoa there," he murmured, his voice laced with amusement, but his eyes were warm, almost protective.
You blinked up at Rafe, a goofy grin plastered across your face as you realized he was standing right in front of you. The room spun just a little, but his steady hands on yours felt oddly comforting.
“Rafe!” you slurred, beaming as though you hadn’t seen him in days. “Fuck! Isn’t it, like, super hot in here?”
Rafe smirked, shaking his head. “I think that’s just the tequila talking, baby,” he replied, steadying you as you swayed. His fingers stayed wrapped around yours, almost possessive, but he didn’t let go.
You pouted, glancing around at the half-dressed friends who were now laughing at your enthusiastic outburst. “Fine, but I was just trying to help everyone loosen up, you know?”
“Oh, trust me, you’ve definitely loosened up,” he chuckled, his eyes scanning you, both entertained and slightly exasperated. “Maybe… a little too much.”
You leaned in closer, your voice dropping to a playful whisper, “You know you enjoy it.”
Rafe’s gaze softened, but there was something else there, too—like he was seeing a side of you he hadn’t before. “Maybe I do,” he replied, his voice low, almost as if the words had slipped out unintentionally. He cleared his throat, his grip tightening on your hands. “But I also love it when you’re not stripping in front of half my team.”
You giggled, reaching up to playfully ruffle his hair. “Aww, big, tough Rafe is jealous I haven’t stripped to him first, is that it?”
Just then, Kiara stumbled over, clearly in search of more entertainment. “Hey! Let’s play a game, everyone!”
Rafe sighed. “Alright, I think that’s our cue to leave,” he muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he looked back at you.
You tugged on Rafe’s arm, leaning into him with a dramatic pout. “Nooooo… let’s play the game, and then we can go,” you insisted.
“Y/N, you’re beyond wasted,” he said, arching an eyebrow in disbelief. “I doubt you’ll even be able to play the game right.”
“I am not drunk,” you protested, crossing your arms defiantly. The words slurred just slightly, giving you away. Rafe’s skeptical look only deepened. “I’m just a little tipsy,” you amended quickly, giving him a grin. “Come on, don’t be such a buzzkill.”
He hesitated, watching you with a mixture of amusement and concern. For a moment, he seemed ready to argue, but as you flashed him your brightest, most convincing smile, he sighed, a reluctant smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Fine,” he muttered, finally giving in.
You joined everyone on the floor, settling into a circle with a bottle of vodka at the center and shot glasses placed around. The music was turned down, but the room’s energy buzzed with anticipation. You found yourself between Rafe on your left and Sarah on your right. Across from you were Pope, Cleo, John B, and Chiara, each giving you encouraging grins or a raised brow.
Kiara took charge with a gleeful smile. “Alright, you all know how Never Have I Ever works, right?” She scanned the group, receiving nods all around. “Perfect! If anyone wants to skip a question, you take a shot. Simple enough. Should I start?” She tapped her chin playfully before flashing a mischievous grin. “Never have I ever dated someone at least ten years older than me.”
A chorus of laughter and surprised murmurs rippled through the group as Rafe, Kelce, and Topper each dropped a finger. A few gasps followed, and your eyes darted to Rafe, eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"So, you’re into cougars, huh?” you whispered, unable to hide your amused smile.
He shrugged, glancing at you with a glint of mischief in his eyes. “Not anymore,” he murmured, his gaze flicking to your lips. The slow lick he gave his own sent a spark through you, making you gulp and look away quickly. Was it the alcohol, or did he just do that on purpose?
JJ smirked, taking the lead for the next round. “Alright, let’s up the stakes. Never have I ever been in handcuffs…and I don’t mean the kind from a police station.”
The number of people lowering their fingers was surprising. Sarah, John B, Kelce, Chiara, Cleo...and even you. As soon as you put your finger down, Rafe snapped his head in your direction, his eyes wide with surprise. You avoided his gaze, a sly smirk playing on your lips as you focused elsewhere, feeling his lingering stare and the unspoken question in his eyes.
“Lots of naughty people here,” Kiara smirked, eyeing the group of us who had fingers down. Her grin was wicked as she surveyed the room, making everyone squirm just a little. “I see y’all… I see y’all! Alright, someone else ask the next question!”
Topper jumped at the chance, grinning as he dramatically raised a finger. “Never have I ever had a crush on someone in this room,” he declared, looking around with a teasing sparkle in his eyes.
You watched as some people—those who were obviously in relationships (and Chiara)—put their fingers down, laughing and giving each other cute looks. You shrugged, you didn’t relate to that question. You didn’t do anything, leaning back as others shared knowing glances. But then, Rafe nudged your shoulder, leaning down close enough for you to feel his breath against your ear.
“Come on, put a finger down,” he whispered, his voice low and warm. His hand rested on your knee, his thumb grazing in gentle circles, as if to coax you into admitting something.
You shook your head, letting out a sleepy laugh. “I don’t have a crush on anyone,” you slurred, clearly drunk. Your words came out slower, a bit softer, and you could feel Rafe chuckle beside you, probably entertained by how far gone you were.
“Did you forget we’re together?” he asked, amused. Without waiting for your response, he took your hand and put a finger down for you. His touch was gentle, yet possessive.
JJ spotted the exchange, laughter bursting out of him as he pointed at you. “Oh, damn, Rafe! She actually forgot she even likes you!”
Rafe shot him a mock glare, flipping him off with a grin. “That’s on you, fuck-heads, for handing her all those shots,” he retorted, pointing an accusatory finger around the group. “We’re gonna head out soon if she keeps this up.”
“No! Don’t go!” Cleo’s voice suddenly cut through, practically pouting. “I like her! Don’t take her away from me—us!”
Pope waved his hands, laughing as he tried to steer the game back on course. “Alright, let’s just keep this moving before the girls start crying. Here’s one—never have I ever had a threesome.”
The room went quiet, people hesitating to react. Then smirks appeared, and the accusations started flying at JJ, with Topper and a few others pointing fingers. “Come on, man! We literally saw you making out with two girls at once last month!”
You felt the conversation slipping in and out, barely paying attention to the bickering. Your head felt heavy, and with each passing second, you found yourself drifting further. Almost without realizing it, you leaned into Rafe’s shoulder, your head resting there like it had always belonged. His arm wrapped around you, hand trailing up and down your shoulder in comforting circles, and you closed your eyes, feeling strangely at peace. His warmth surrounded you, making the noise around you blur into the background. For a fleeting moment, you wondered if you could stay like this forever.
Across the room, Chiara’s eyes narrowed as she caught sight of the two of you, her jaw clenching almost imperceptibly. Her stare was sharp, piercing, and a flash of something darker seemed to flicker there.
“Hey, guys! Let’s stop arguing and actually play,” Sarah called out, snapping everyone’s attention back to the game. She pointed at you and Rafe, grinning. “Those two are practically out like lights! Okay, here’s one: never have I ever had sex in a movie theater.”
Laughter erupted again as John B hesitated, clearly too shy to admit to anything. You looked up at Rafe, raising an eyebrow playfully as if to ask if he’d ever done something like that. He met your gaze, shaking his head.
When he raised his brow to ask you the same question, you mimicked his gesture, shaking your head. But then, with a mischievous glint in your eye, you leaned into him, dropping your voice to a whisper. “Bathrooms, though… I’ve done it there.” You weren’t sure why you said it—he hadn’t even asked. “I don’t know if that counts…”
Rafe’s brows shot up in surprise, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Guess you’re freakier than you look.”
You chuckled, leaning back. “What’s that supposed to mean? I don’t look like the type?”
He shook his head slowly, letting his eyes wander over you, his gaze lingering on your lips before it drifted back up to your eyes. “Not exactly,” he murmured, voice low.
“Oh?” you asked, hand drifting to rest on his thigh, watching the glint in his blue eyes intensify as he looked down at your hand. “Come on, Cameron. Tell me what I look like, then.”
His fingers traced light patterns under the hem of your shirt, brushing over the skin at your waist in a way that made your breath hitch. He leaned in close, his lips brushing your ear as he whispered, “You look like you want to be fucked roughly,” he paused, letting his words linger before he added with a smirk, “but maybe you should get some sleep instead.”
You playfully swatted his arm, pushing yourself upright with a laugh. “Screw you, Rafe.”
With a grin, he pulled you back to his side, wrapping his arms around you as you settled against him again. “Oh, come on, sweetheart,” he murmured, his voice gentle but teasing. “You know I’m just messing with you—”
Chiara Romano’s voice cut through the chatter with an edge sharper than before. “Okay, my turn now,” she said, raising her head, her eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made you feel uneasy. “Never have I ever…” she paused, letting her gaze linger on you a moment longer, her lips curling into a smirk that held none of the warmth and humor everyone else’s questions had. “... never have I ever filmed myself in the bathroom puking my guts out after eating.”
A shocked silence fell over the room. You felt the air freeze, every eye darting to Chiara in disbelief, and then back to you. The words hit like a punch to the gut, and the humiliation was instant and overwhelming. Your face flushed as the awful memories flooded back—the horrible moment that video had been leaked, exposing your bulimia to the world without mercy. You’d spent months trying to rebuild, to reclaim your own story, but now it was out in the open again, with a cruelty that left you breathless.
Your cheeks flamed with humiliation, and your chest tightened as if the air had been sucked out of the room. You felt every gaze on you, piercing, questioning, but you couldn’t bring yourself to meet anyone’s eyes. Your fingers curled around your tighs, gripping tightly, almost leaving red marks.
You closed your eyes the moment you felt tears coming up. You didn’t want to cry in front of everyone, it was embarrassing enough that they got reminded of the most embarrassing moment of your life—crying would embarrass you even more. None of them know what you went through after that video got leaked. No one knew the nights you spent in rehab centers getting mocked for the video—as if everyone there wasn’t in because of mental illnesses too. They didn’t know the amount of strength it took for you to finally get clean… only for you to relapse again this afternoon.
They didn’t fucking know!
Rafe stood up beside you, his body going tense beside you. His jaw clenched as his eyes narrowed at her. “What the fuck is wrong you?” he yelled, his voice sharp, like he was barely holding back.
She shrugged, feigning innocence, though the smirk stayed firmly on her face. “What? I thought we were all sharing our secrets here, right? After all, the video has already been leaked for everyone to see, like, years ago… didn’t think it was such a big deal.”
You felt like you were drowning, the walls closing in on you as Chiara’s words rang in your ears. Without thinking, you bolted for the door, the need to escape driving you forward. You pushed past Rafe, who instinctively reached out for you, but you couldn’t stop. You needed to get out, away from the judgment, away from the stares that felt like daggers. The cold night air hit you as you stepped outside, but it didn’t matter; all you could think about was putting as much distance between yourself and the party as possible.
The rain poured down in sheets, drenching you instantly. You stumbled through the downpour, your heart racing as you made your way toward the car, the asphalt slick and glistening under the streetlights. You couldn’t believe it had come to this, running away like some frightened child, but the humiliation burned too fiercely to stand another moment.
Behind you, you heard Rafe call out your name, his voice cutting through the sound of the rain. “Y/N! Fuck—wait!” He sounded frantic, his tone a mix of worry and urgency. You could hear him rushing after you, his footsteps splashing through puddles as he chased you down.
“Just leave me alone!” you shouted over your shoulder, the words coming out more desperate than you intended. You didn’t want to feel his pity, didn’t want him to see you like this—broken and exposed.
“Look, I’m so sorry for what she—”
“I don’t want your fucking pity, Rafe!” you turned around to see him running toward you. His clothes clinging to his body. “Just go back there, and leave me alone for the night, alright?”
“I’m not leaving you!” he shouted back, his voice firm. You could hear the determination in his tone, and it both soothed and angered you. Why wouldn’t he just let you go?
You reached the car, fumbling with the door handle, your fingers slipping as the rain poured down, obscuring your vision. You wanted to get inside, to hide from everything—from Chiara, from your mistakes, from the shame that clung to you like a second skin.
Just as you finally got the door open, Rafe was there, blocking your way. He stood next to you, soaking wet but unbothered, his expression fierce and protective. “Y/N, please,” he urged, his voice softer now, almost pleading. “Come on… Just… just talk to me.”
His presence was grounding, but you couldn’t shake off the overwhelming tide of emotions surging through you. “What’s there to talk about?” you asked, your voice broke. “It’s all out there for everyone to see. I couldn’t handle it back then and I… I can’t handle it now. I can’t…” you felt tears pooling at your eyes.
Rafe took a step closer, rain cascading down his face, but he didn’t reach for you. Instead, he held his hands up, palms facing you. “Don’t run away from this.”
“Watch me,” you shot back, glaring at him through tears. “You can’t fix this, Rafe, so just let me go.”
“I am not letting you go,” he insisted. “What she did was cruel—she felt miserable seeing us together. You know better than this.”
“Do I?” you echoed, feeling your own resolve wavering as you locked eyes with him. “It’s easy for you to say. You’re not the one with the history she just exposed. You’re not the one who’s been ridiculed for something that was leaked against your will!”
“Neither am I the one hiding in a corner, sulking because some jealous bitch decided to take a cheap shot,” Rafe countered, his frustration evident. “You’re stronger than this, so stop acting like you’re not. Stand up for yourself!”
“Stand up for myself?” You laughed, a hollow sound that echoed in the rain. “And how do you suggest I do that? By going back there and asking her to apologize? By acting like it doesn’t hurt?”
“Why give her the satisfaction of knowing she’s getting to you?”
“Because it’s easy!” you snapped, frustration boiling over. “It’s easier to run away and hide than it is to face the pain! Don’t you get that? I thought I was done with all of this, and now I’m just… I’m back to square one. I thought you understood me better than that.”
“Clearly, I don’t,” he said, his tone cutting. “You want to hide, and I’m not going to let you hide from yourself. I care about you, Y/N...”
You felt your heart pound in your chest, caught between anger and a flicker of something deeper. “What you care about is saving face. You want the perfect girlfriend who can handle anything. But I’m not that person, Rafe. I’m a mess. I have issues, and I’m tired of pretending I’m not.”
He stepped closer, the tension between you thick and electric. “And I’m not asking you to pretend. I’m asking you to be real. To be honest about what you’re feeling. We can face this if you’d just let me help you instead of pushing me away.”
You hesitated, the rain drumming a steady rhythm around you as you stared at him. “Maybe I don’t want your help. Maybe I don’t need anyone to fix me.”
“Then why the hell are you running away from this?” he challenged, his voice rising again. “Because it’s too hard? Because it makes you uncomfortable? Life is uncomfortable, Y/N! That’s the reality, and running away doesn’t change that.”
“I just don’t want to do this right now,” you shot back, the weariness of the night creeping in. “I didn’t sign up for a therapy session. I wanted to have fun, to forget, and now it feels like I’m being dragged back into all the crap.”
Rafe’s expression softened slightly, but his resolve remained. “And you can’t forget by ignoring it. You have to face it, and I’m not going to let you do it alone. If that means we argue, then so be it. But I’m not walking away.”
You looked away, biting your lip to keep the frustration at bay. “Maybe you should. Maybe it would be easier for both of us.”
“Easier? For who?” he challenged but you couldn’t answer him anymore.
You didn’t have the strength to fight. You sighed. “Can you get me home or not?”
He ran his hands through his buzzcut and nodded. “You’re not gonna say goodbye to everyone?” You shook your head, not wanting to get back in there and look at them staring at you. “Alright… get in the car, then.”
You climbed into the passenger seat, the cool leather sticking to your damp clothes. Rafe slipped in beside you, his jaw set, hands gripping the wheel. Neither of you said a word, the silence thick and uncomfortable, each of you lost in your own thoughts. You stared out the window, watching the raindrops race each other down the glass, trying to focus on anything other than the weight of the tension that hung between you.
Your heart was still pounding, the adrenaline from the confrontation lingering in your veins. You could feel the shame gnawing at you, the humiliation settling into a deep, aching hollow inside you. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Rafe shifting in his seat, glancing at you every so often, his mouth twitching as if he wanted to say something. But he kept quiet, his gaze fixed on the rain-soaked road ahead. His fingers tapped against the steering wheel, a small, nervous rhythm that betrayed the stillness in the car.
The silence was suffocating, heavy with words unsaid. You could feel the questions he wanted to ask, the concern he held back, but he didn’t press. Part of you appreciated it, yet another part of you wished he would just break the silence, say something to shatter this unbearable quiet.
You stole a glance at him, his brow furrowed, jaw clenched. He was clearly wrestling with something, struggling between respecting your need for space and his own instinct to reach out. But his restraint made everything feel even more surreal, like the two of you were strangers again, pretending not to know each other’s pain.
Eventually, you wrapped your arms around yourself, feeling the chill of your damp clothes seep into your skin.
When he pulled up in front of your apartment building, he kept the engine running, his hands still gripping the wheel tightly. He didn’t make any move to get out or say goodbye. He just sat there, glancing out the window before looking back at you, his lips parting slightly as if he might finally say something.
With a quiet sigh, you pushed the door open, stepping out into the drizzle that had softened into a gentle mist. The cold bit into your skin, but you barely noticed. You closed the door behind you, barely looking back, willing yourself not to dwell on the weight of his stare as you turned toward the entrance of your building—but you paused, feeling a pang of dread at the thought of stepping into your apartment alone. The quiet and emptiness that usually felt like a sanctuary now seemed suffocating. You hesitated, glancing back at the car where Rafe still sat, staring out into the rain.
Before you could second-guess yourself, you turned back and walked toward him, knocking gently on his window. He looked up, a mixture of surprise and uncertainty crossing his face as he rolled the window down. The awkwardness was palpable, hanging between you like a fragile thread.
“Do you… want to come up?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. “I just—I just don’t feel like being alone right now.” You glanced away, feeling vulnerable, exposed. This wasn’t easy to admit, especially not to him.
Rafe blinked, clearly caught off guard. He hesitated, the tension in his posture softening as he considered your request. “Uh, yeah… sure,” he replied, though there was a touch of awkwardness in his voice, like he wasn’t sure he was the right person for this. Still, he killed the engine and got out of the car, following you toward the entrance.
Inside the building, you moved wordlessly up the stairs together, the elevator’s light out as usual. The quiet between you was no longer charged with unspoken tension but instead carried a strange, subdued calm. Each step felt heavier, and you could feel his presence just a few inches behind you, grounding you in a way that felt strangely comforting.
When you finally reached your door, you unlocked it and stepped inside, flicking on a dim light that bathed the space in a warm, muted glow. Rafe followed, taking in the familiar yet intimate details of your apartment as he shrugged off his jacket. He looked unsure, like he didn’t quite know where to stand or what to say, so he hovered near the doorway.
You offered him a small, grateful smile and gestured toward the couch. “You can sit, if you want. I’ll make some tea or something,” you mumbled, moving toward the kitchen before he could respond. The warmth of your apartment slowly started to chip away at the lingering chill from the rain outside, and you felt a hint of comfort beginning to settle in.
When you returned with two mugs, Rafe had taken a seat on the couch, his gaze still wandering around the room, perhaps more at ease now. He accepted the tea with a quiet “thanks,” and you sat beside him, the silence stretching out once more, but this time it didn’t feel as heavy.
You can feel the heat radiating from his body, close enough that your knees almost touch, and every so often, your eyes meet and then dart away, a faint spark igniting each time.
It’s you who finally breaks the voice, your voice soft. “I’m going to change. I can… One of my friends’ left his clothes there, I can give them to you, if you want?”
Rafe looked up from his mug, his expression caught between surprise and a hesitant relief. “Yeah, that’d be… that’d be great,” he replied, glancing down at his damp clothes, his shoulders relaxing slightly.
You rose from the couch, moving to your room to dig through the small pile of clothes left behind from friends. Finding an oversized hoodie and some sweatpants, you returned and handed them to him, offering a half-smile. “They might be a little big, but better than wet clothes.”
He nodded, accepting them with a quiet “Thanks,” and stepped into the bathroom to change. The moment he was out of sight, you took a deep breath, feeling the quiet around you settle into something both calm and unfamiliar, his presence somehow easing the edges of your earlier anxiety. You wrapped your arms around yourself, still shaken by everything that had happened, but also oddly comforted by knowing you weren’t alone tonight.
When he emerged, dressed in the loose-fitting hoodie and sweats, he looked different—more relaxed, less guarded. He took a tentative step back into the living room, running a hand through his damp hair as he caught your eye, almost sheepish.
You managed a faint smile, gesturing to the couch again, and he sank down beside you. He set his mug on the table, his fingers fidgeting slightly before he leaned back, settling in.
“Well, I... I’ll just go change. Make yourself comfortable,” you said, your voice soft but inviting. Leaving Rafe in the living room, you headed to your bedroom, slipping into a comfortable black tank top and a pair of Hello Kitty pajama pants—the ones Nina, your agent, gifted you when you’d first arrived in the U.S. They were worn in with memories, each time you wore them a reminder of how far you’d come. You removed your makeup and pulled your hair into a ponytail, feeling lighter and more yourself.
When you reemerged, you noticed Rafe standing in the hallway, intently studying a small collection of photos you had on the wall. You approached him quietly, noticing that he was particularly focused on a picture of you from when you were nineteen, dressed in a deep green saree at a friend’s wedding in the States. You were surrounded by your group of friends, all of you smiling.
“You looked beautiful,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, as though speaking louder might disturb something precious in the moment.
“Thank you…” you murmured, feeling a soft warmth rise in your cheeks. You glanced back at the photo, remembering how special that day was. “I really like this one. I’d just arrived here and didn’t know many people yet. Then a few friends invited me to the wedding, and I felt... confident, you know? Like I could start fresh here. And wearing a saree again just felt like home—the color, everything... It was my first time going to a wedding here.”
“And how did it feel?” he asked, genuinely curious.
You let out a small laugh, recalling the night. “It was just like back home, only better in some ways. No one really knew who I was, so I didn’t have any aunties critiquing me. Though they did make sure I had enough food to last a week,” you chuckled, a smile playing at the corner of your lips. The memory was comforting, a reminder of the warmth that had welcomed you into this new life.
“The color suits you,” he said, his eyes still lingering on the photo before meeting yours with a hint of a smile.
“You sure you’re not only saying that because it’s your favorite co—”
Before you could finish your phrase, he closed the space between you, his hands finding your face as he pulled you into a rough, heated kiss. His lips crashed against yours with a passion that caught you completely off guard, leaving you breathless, swept up in the sudden intensity of his need.
When he finally pulled back, your pulse was racing, and you stared at him, dazed. “Why… why did you kiss me?” you asked, your voice barely a whisper, still trying to catch your breath.
A slow smirk spread across his face as he brushed his thumb over your cheek. “I wanted to know what you tasted like… again,” he murmured, his voice thick with a teasing confidence that made your cheeks flush.
You swallowed, still feeling the lingering heat of his lips. “And what do I taste like?”
He studied your lips for a moment, then met your gaze with a dangerous glint. “Come il mio,” he said softly in Italian, his words like a promise before his mouth captured yours again, this time slower but just as consuming.
Without breaking the kiss, he guided you back into the living room, his hands firm as they slid around your waist, drawing you close. He lowered you onto the sofa, his lips moving from your mouth to trace a path down the curve of your neck, igniting your skin with each graze of his mouth. His hand slipped to the small of your back, pressing you deeper into the cushions as he continued kissing you, his breath warm against your skin, leaving you dizzy and yearning for more.
You moaned softly when he kissed and sucked the curve just below your collarbone. His lips pressed firmly against your skin, his mouth hot and possessive. The gentle graze of his teeth sent a jolt of desire through you, leaving you breathless and wanting for more. He lingered there, sucking and kissing with a fervor that made you ache for him, making you grind against him unconsciously.
“That’s going to show, Cameron,” you tried to scold him, breathless, feeling both exposed and exhilarated as he moved lower, tracing the outline of your neck.
A wicked smile curled at the corners of his lips, his breath warm against your skin as he murmured, “Good. I want everyone to know.” The rasp of his voice, thick with desire, made your insides flutter as he leaned in closer, his mouth capturing the tender skin just below your ear.
He pulled back slightly, his eyes dark and hungry as they roamed over you. Your flushed skin, your red and pulped lips, and your hard nipples. He was admiring the evidence of his claim. The look in his gaze made your pulse quicken, both thrilling and intoxicating, as if he were savoring the sight of you beneath him.
“Shit! You look perfect like this,” he murmured, his thumb brushing over one of the marks he’d left behind. The softness of his touch contrasted sharply with the heat pooling in your core, making you feel both cherished and utterly desired. “Like you belong to me.”
You sat up abruptly, a surge of confidence washing over you as you peeled off your top, revealing your bare breasts to the air without a hint of shame. Maybe it was the way his eyes roamed over you, filled with wonder and desire, as if you were the most beautiful sight he had ever encountered. Or perhaps it was the intoxicating buzz of alcohol still coursing through your veins, amplifying your boldness.
Either way, you didn't care.
“I’m the luckiest motherfucker on earth,” he muttered to himself, his voice low and awestruck, before sinking back onto the sofa, his lips finding your skin with fervor. His mouth was like fire against your breasts as he sucked and kissed, igniting a wild heat within you. You threaded your fingers through his closely cropped hair, tugging gently as you lost yourself in the pleasure of his touch. His tongue flicked against your nipple, sending delicious shivers coursing through your body, and you couldn’t help but wonder how you had gone so long without him.
As his fingers slipped beneath the waistband of your pants, your breath hitched with anticipation. His hand glided up your thighs, tantalizingly close to where you needed him most. “Rafe…” you breathed, your voice trembling with longing. “Please…”
“Please what?” he challenged, his tone teasing but laced with desire. “Tell me what you need, baby.”
“Just… touch me. I want you to touch me,” you moaned, your hips instinctively rolling against his hard cock-straining against the fabric of the sweatpants you gave him.
“Touch you where?”
His playful question sent a spark of frustration through you, and instead of answering verbally, you guided his hand, placing it firmly on your pussy. “Here. Touch me here. Please…”
In an instant, your pajama pants were gone, discarded like the inhibitions that had held you back. He kissed his way down your stomach, trailing hot kisses over the fabric of your panties, before moving to the sensitive skin of your inner thighs. A shiver ran down your spine, and you couldn’t resist glancing down at him, but something tugged at your thoughts. You called out his name, your voice breathy.
“Yes, baby?” he replied, looking up with hunger.
“Take it off.” You pointed at his shirt, and without hesitation, he stripped it off in one smooth motion, revealing his chiseled torso. He climbed over you, his body hovering just above yours, radiating warmth and strength. You couldn’t help but reach out, exploring his body—his hair, his lips, his broad chest, and the defined muscles of his abs.
With a sudden intensity, he kissed you again, their lips melding together as if they were made for one another. But after a moment that felt too short, he pulled away and descended between your legs once more.
Just the image of him between your legs could make you come.
“God, I want to taste you,” he groaned, his fingers touching your clit through your panties. “Tell me, pretty, do you want me to taste you?”
You nodded.
“Words, baby.”
“I do,” you moaned, your nails digging into his shoulders as you wrapped your legs around him. “I want you so fucking much, gosh!”
As the heat in the room swelled, just when you thought Rafe would finally remove your underwear, he suddenly stopped. His hands ran frantically through his hair as he began to pace around your living room, his agitation palpable. Confusion washed over you, your brow furrowing in concern as you sat up.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. “Rafe, please talk to me. What’s going on?”
“I can’t do it,” he said, shaking his head, the anguish in his eyes cutting through the atmosphere like a knife. “I can’t do this—”
“Do what? What are you talking about?” Panic tightened your chest as you searched his face for answers.
“Have sex with you,” he finally admitted, his gaze finally locking onto yours. “I can’t have sex with you, Y/N.”
The world around you faded, and a cold wave of vulnerability crashed over you, leaving you feeling exposed and raw. Tears prickled at the corners of your eyes as you scrambled to grab your black top from the floor, pulling it over your head, a desperate attempt to cover not just your body but the aching hurt in your heart. “Wha… why? Why can’t you? We were doing so well… I thought it was good.”
Rafe stepped closer, his expression softening but shadowed with pain. He cupped your cheeks in his warm hands, but instead of comfort, it felt worsel. His eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, as if he were trying to transfer some of his strength to you. But then, he turned and walked toward the hallway to put on his shoes, and the ache in your chest grew.
You couldn’t let him leave like this. Panic surged through you as you sprang to your feet, rushing to the door to block his path. “Tell me why,” you insisted, your voice cracking as you wiped away the tears that had begun to fall.
“Y/N, you’re drunk…”
“So are you! You’re tipsy!” you threw your arms up in frustration. “Why does that matter? I want you. You want me—”
“Because I don’t want you to regret it,” he said, his voice breaking as if the words were tearing him apart. He sighed deeply, the weight of his decision hanging heavy between you. “I don’t want you to hate yourself when you wake up in the morning because you slept with me.”
“That’s not going to happen, Rafe. Please don’t leave. Stay here with me—we don’t have to do anything,” you pleaded, desperation dripping from your every word.
But his mind was made up. He leaned in, brushing his lips softly against yours one last time, a sweet farewell filled with unspoken emotions. As he asked you to step aside, you felt a piece of your heart crack. You moved reluctantly, watching as he walked toward the elevator, each step echoing in your mind like a countdown to the end.
Just before the doors closed, he turned back, his expression a mixture of regret and sorrow that mirrored your own. “I am sorry, sweetheart.”
And then he was gone.
Since then, you haven't heard from him in two weeks.

“The Jessie Fleming? At my table? Who knew I’d get so lucky.”
You fought back the urge to roll your eyes. Instead, you glanced over at your girlfriend to see her cheeks flushing red and a sheepish smile on her face.
“Oh. Hi. Nice to meet you,” Jessie greeted the server.
“Naomi,” the server introduced herself as she extended her hand to Jessie, which Jessie, of course, shook. She was nothing, if not polite. The woman gave a satisfied smile. “Nice to meet you as well. I’ll be taking care of you today.”
The woman continued to give her spiel and you tried to not react as she paid extra attention to Jessie throughout. By the time she took orders and left, Kelli and Sam were holding back snickers over how flirtatious the whole interaction had become.
Jessie, however, simply looked around the table with a perplexed frown. For someone so smart and observant, she could be unbelievably clueless sometimes.
“What’s so funny?”
Sam and Kelli exchanged looks with you and you simply looked away. You weren’t in the mood to engage.
“She was very friendly. That’s all,” Sam eventually said, pulling another laugh out of Kelli.
Jessie’s frown didn’t diminish and Kelli caught your eye but you waved her off. There was no point in getting into it or making it into something more.
You tried to carry on with your evening as best you could. The way the table and seats were situated, one chair on each side of the table, you couldn’t easily cuddle up with Jessie. Sure, you leaned in, placed a hand on her leg now and then, but weren’t exactly staking a claim.
And frankly, you didn’t really want to have to. It shouldn’t just be you all over her; you wanted Jessie to claim you, too.
Your friends and family knew you were together, but Jessie made no effort to make things more public than that. You’d kissed her cheek one time while out for coffee and she muttered and withdrew when she thought she saw some phones come out to take pictures. She was fine with your loved ones knowing about your relationship, but she didn’t want to invite the public into it.
You didn’t mind at first. It made sense and you weren’t keen to be on display either. But as the months wore on and Jessie continued to be flirted with relentlessly, your patience grew thin.
It also really didn’t help that Jessie was oblivious to girls advances most times. Perhaps it should’ve made you feel better that she didn’t outright reciprocate, but it typically meant she accepted it and wouldn’t shut it down.
Tonight was a prime example. Naomi stopped by your table more often than others, engaged Jessie in conversation - including somehow getting Jessie to offer her tickets to an upcoming game. By the time Naomi returned to your table with a free drink just for Jessie, you’d had it.
“Do you want some?” Jessie asked innocently as she held up the drink to you.
“No,” you responded flatly, not even offering her a glance.
“Oh,” Jessie said quietly, holding the glass mid-air awkwardly for a second or two before taking a sip. She held out the glass again. “It’s really good.”
“Congrats,” you deadpanned as you folded your arms and sat back in your chair.
“Mm I need to go to the bathroom,” Sam mumbled, her and Kelli nudging each other.
“Yeah me too,” Kelli said as they both got up to give you two some space. You spied how Jessie’s eyes followed them momentarily before she looked over at you and leaned in, speaking discretely.
“Are you okay? You seem a bit…agitated.”
You couldn’t help but give her a sidelong glance. She held your gaze as you locked eyes, but you caught her swallow.
“You really have to ask?” You inquired wearily. She frowned, gaze flitting away as she wracked her brain.
“Jess,” you said in tired frustration, “this server has been hitting on you all night.”
“What?” Jessie asked, face screwing up in confusion. You shot her a withering look.
“Come on. She is laser focused on you. Complimenting you like crazy. Randomly talking with you. A free dessert for you. A free drink. Now, mind you, you did offer to get her tickets for a game, so, who can blame her, really,” you finished with a scoff, your irritation rising.
“Babe,” she refuted as she held up her hands in both confusion and defense. “She was just talking with me. And the dessert was for all of us. And I was just being polite. She said her nieces really want to go to a game!”
You rolled your eyes. “Oh. A knight in shining armour.”
“Y/N. You’re reading into things. She’s not flirting with me,” Jessie denied.
You rubbed your forehead, closing your eyes. “You know, your humility and kindness are some of your best traits. But sometimes, you’re just naive. And sometimes,” you exhaled heavily as you looked back over at her, “it’s just plain aggravating.”
Your temper flared as Jessie made a face at you.
“You’re totally blowing this out of proportion,” she stated.
You leaned your elbows on the table and rubbed your temples. You were tired of feeling this way. Like you were her girlfriend only when it was convenient, and just a bystander other times.
“Sure. Whatever you say, Jess,” you said quietly as you took a sip of your drink.
You heard her huff as you stared forward into the crowd of diners.
“Come on, don’t be like that,” she urged.
"Like what?" You ground out, though knowing it was dangerous to ask.
"I don't know. Jealous? It's not necessary," she said, her voice somewhere between stern and tentative.
"Mhmm," you said as you sat back and folded your arms against yourself.
You both sat in silence for several moments, neither of you making eye contact or making an attempt to converse. The tension was palpable and you felt your emotions beginning to bubble over the longer the silence persisted.
You looked around the room and eventually saw Kelli and Sam were just hanging out at the end of the hall where the restrooms were and clearly just waiting things out. You sighed and reached down to grab your belongings.
"I'm gonna head out," you announced flatly, still not looking over at her. Still, you caught her head snap over to you in your periphery. Your rose from your seat. "I'll transfer you whatever I owe."
"What?" She shifted in her seat, partially standing up but freezing partway as you threw your jacket on and pushed your chair back in.
"I'll call you tomorrow," you went on dully, offering her a glimpse with a forced, fleeting smile that was nothing more than for show. Jessie threw up her hands in confusion and protest.
"Where are you going?" She whispered, but tone high and tense.
"Night, Jess."
You caught Sam and Kelli's eyes as you were leaving and looked shocked, but you waved them off, mouthing, "I'll text you later."
The brisk night air felt sharp on your skin as you pushed through the doors of the restaurant and walked down the street. You held your arms tightly against yourself in an effort to stay warm and comfort yourself from the upset that was continuing to mount despite your departure.
"Y/N!"
It felt like your heart faltered as you heard that familiar voice calling your name. You heard her distant footsteps rapidly approaching as she ran down the street towards you. You pulled your arms in tighter and continued walking, refusing to look back.
"Hey," her voice was soft now and right behind you and you felt her hand on the crook of your arm as she pulled you around.
You looked away immediately, determinedly not looking her in the eye as though that would somehow prevent her from seeing the tears in your eyes. You frowned in annoyance as you wiped away a stray tear.
"Babe," she said sadly and you caught the way her face fell upon seeing you. She tried to pull you in, but you took a step back. She seemed to contemplate trying again, but ultimately just clasped her hands in front of herself and looked down at the concrete before up at you once again.
"What?" You snapped, feeling guarded and defensive, but still too vulnerable to meet her gaze.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry," she said quietly, taking a small, tentative step towards you. "I didn't know all this stuff tonight was bothering you this much. I'm really sorry. You know I'd never mean to hurt you."
"I know," you practically huffed as you shifted your weight, popping a hip out and glancing at her briefly. "Whatever. It's stupid. It doesn't matter. I just want to go home."
"It's not stupid," she said gently, but firmly, seeking your eyes. "If it's upsetting you, it's not stupid and I want to fix it."
Sure, she could fix tonight, but you were both going to keep finding yourself in this situation over and over again unless if the context of your relationship changed. And you didn't want to force her hand.
"Whatever," you muttered. "It's not going to change. So, I just need to get over it if we're going to be together."
Jessie's posture straightened, drawing your eye to see her looking both concerned and confused.
"If we're going to be together?" She asked. "What does that mean?"
A wave of irritation swept over you and your shot her a glare.
"Meaning, I have to be okay being your 'secret girlfriend' and seeing women flirt endlessly with you week after week. That's not going to change at all until you're ready to go public - when I can actually kiss you in public or, heaven forbid, you kiss me. Hold me. Act like something other than my friend. Who can blame these girls for thinking you're single?"
Jessie withdrew, her features serious and contemplative as she processed your words.
"That's what this is about?" She asked. You flashed her a fake smile as you wiped away a residual tear and sniffled.
"Stupid, right?"
She frowned with a heavy exhale.
"No," she said gently, apologetically even. Her gaze fell and she scanned the ground in thought before facing you again. "I'm just a private person. I wasn't meaning to 'hide' you or to make you feel like I'm any less committed."
You shook your head, feeling the urge to remove yourself from this discussion.
"It's fine. It doesn't matter, Jess," you said faintly as you sniffled, irritated with yourself at the need to.
"It does," she countered. "What can I do to fix this?"
"I'm not going to dictate that. I don't want you doing anything simply because you think I'm demanding it."
She huffed lightly but spoke earnestly.
"I didn't think it was upsetting you or hurting you. Which, now that I think about it, was really ignorant of me. I'm a private person, yes, but I don't need to hide, and I certainly don't want you to think or feel like I'm hiding you. That's not the case. I'm so proud of you and proud to be with you." She reached out and coaxed you to hold her hands as she looked you in the eye and spoke. "I am happy to go public with you. I'm sorry it's taken me this long. But I'm yours and you're mine."
Your lip started to tremble as she finished speaking and she gave you the softest, sweetest smile as you ducked your head. She ducked her head in response to catch your eye.
"Can I kiss you?"
You couldn't speak and merely nodded, a laugh finally escaping you at the end at how ridiculous you felt. She smiled and cupped your cheek as she captured your mouth in a gentle kiss for any passerby to see.
You sniffled after she eventually pulled back. You were still fighting back tears, but smiled at her nonetheless. A small smirk formed on her face.
"Would a date night photo on Instagram change things?"
She pulled you in and had already started to lift up her phone to take a selfie. You swatted her hand down.
"Not now! I've just been crying, for God's sake," you laughed, somewhat bewildered. She blushed as she tucked the phone away.
"Oh right. Well, I still think you look beautiful," she said, pulling an affectionate eye roll out of you.
"You're a goof. A very sweet goof, at that," you relented.
"I'm your goof," she said with a smile. You stared at her a moment, taking her in.
"Is that so?" You asked lightly. Her smile grew crooked.
"Yeah," she said with a confused shrug. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"I'm not all that certain. That's all," you went on, a glint in your eye. She frowned, hesitating momentarily before retrieving her phone again.
"Well, I have other pictures of us I can post tonight."
You huffed silently, holding your eyes steady on her.
"That's not what I'm referring to," you said simply. "Yes, I do want that - it doesn't have to be tonight, by the way. But, I'm just saying there are other ways to prove you're mine."
"Oh," Jessie said, realization settling quickly on her face, phone forgotten once more. Her cheeks burned pink again and she couldn't quite hide the smile that was forming across her lips.
"Are you coming home with me tonight?" You asked sweetly as you toyed with the collar of her jacket.
Her smile grew full-blown. "I'd love to."
-----------
Your lips were locked with Jessie's as you pushed her backwards onto the bed. Her hands explored the skin of your back, pushing your shirt up as she did so. You moaned softly into the kiss as you coaxed her up the bed.
"You saying you're mine and I'm yours? That did something to me," you whispered in appreciation as you straddled her waist, very purposefully settling yourself on the prominent bulge in her jeans. You smiled into the kiss at the soft noise of want she made. You rocked your hips sensually into her and kissed her harder. "Now I want to hear it again and again."
Your kiss muffled her moan as her fingers dug into your waist and she pulled you down into her. It did nothing but encourage you to embrace this urge further.
You leaned back and moved your hands hurriedly under her shirt, pulling it off of her with an urgency she hadn't seen before. Her sports bra immediately followed and it had hardly hit your bedroom floor before you ducked your head down to start laying hard, marking kisses along her chest and up her neck. She moaned quietly under your attention, but soon found her voice.
"H-hey. I have practice tomorrow. Everyone's going to see and they're going to have a field day," she protested mildly. The way she held your waist firmly as she bucked up into you through her pants dismissed any kind of concern you may have had for her claim otherwise.
"Let them," you said simply as you sucked hard to leave a particularly large hickey on her chest.
"Ah, fuck," she moaned as one hand dug through your hair and she arched her back into you.
"I don't need to worry about you every time you're out of my sight, right?" You asked, a lilt in your voice as you trailed a finger down her chest.
"No," she answered immediately. "I'm yours."
"Well, with a woman as gorgeous as you, one can't be too sure," you answered as you began to mark up her torso. "Make sure that if any other girl makes a move, they'll see you're taken. You've already been thoroughly loved and you don't need someone else."
"Shit," Jessie said, her voice shuddering and you glanced up her body to see her looking down at you, eyes hooded, cheeks flushed. When you caught her eye she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh of awe, letting her head fall back against the pillow briefly with a smile before looking down at you again.
"You like being mine, baby?" You asked as you began to undo her pants. As you unbuttoned and unzipped them, moving the restrictive fabric aside, her cock sprang up within her boxer briefs, making itself even more known than before. You smirked smugly.
"Even if you don't know you're mine, your cock seems to."
Jessie exhaled roughly, fingers splaying through your hair.
"All of me knows, babe. Believe me," she told you emphatically.
You pushed down her pants and her boxer briefs, fully releasing her hard cock. Your core pulsed upon seeing her precum leaking from the tip and how it strained into the air, eager for you. You leaned down and kissed the head, slowly dragging your tongue across the tip to lick up the precum. You smiled as her hips instinctively jerked up towards you.
"Fuck," she breathed.
You looked up and her and began to strip off your clothes, fully removing hers as well and straddled her once more, your dripping core poised an inch or two above her aching cock. You could see her breathing was deep, but quick, her eyes transfixed between your legs as she subconsciously licked her lips and massaged your thighs with her strong fingers.
"Let's make sure all of you knows," you stated as you leaned forward, your finger and thumb softly grasping her chin and titling it up to kiss you.
One hand of hers remained at the crease between your hip and thigh, and the other came up cup the side of your neck, pulling you into an eager kiss.
Your smug smirk persisted as you pulled back and grasped her hot length in your hand, lining her up at your entrance and slowly sinking down onto her. You relished the way her head fell back into the pillows and how her eyes fluttered shut, mouth agape as your heat embraced her.
"God, you feel fucking amazing," she praised as she opened her eyes once more only to be mesmerized by how you rose up to the tip before swallowing her member within you once more.
You leaned forward kissing her again.
"You know why it feels amazing?" You asked as you rolled your hips up before sinking down on her, bottoming out. Your mouth fell into an 'o' at the sensation of being filled so well. Your wet pussy was getting the base of her cock and her groin slick with your arousal. "Because your cock was made for me."
"Holy shit," she muttered into the kiss as she brought both hands back to your hips, her fingers digging in nearly painfully as she began to rock her hips up into you to meet your thrusts. "Fuck, baby. Yes, I was made for you."
You gasped into the kiss and dug your fingers into the front of her shoulders. You arched your back as you rode her.
"No one else," you told her as your pace quickened and she easily met you. The sounds of her skin clapping against yours rang through the room.
"No one else," she affirmed as held your gaze and began to thrust harder into you from below.
"You're going to tell everyone about us," you went on. "You're going to tell everyone that you're mine."
A small grunt of pleasure escaped her as she breathed heavily, eyes fixed on yours and not tearing away. "I'll tell everyone I'm yours. I want everyone to know that I belong to you."
A cry fell from your lips at her declaration and you bit your bottom lip as tightness began to mount in your core.
"No matter how many girls flirt with you, I want them to know that you're mine. That you chose me," you panted.
"I don't want any of them," Jessie proclaimed as she held you and thrust up into you. "I only want you."
You saw the way tension began to settle in her face; a look you knew all too well and a telltale sign that her climax was fast approaching.
"I want you to cum for me," you urged her as your hands firmly roamed her chest and abs. "Show me you're mine."
Jessie's mouth was agape as she panted and met your thrusts without fail. She glanced down, taking in how you were riding her so well and her nails dug into your skin. She looked back up to meet your eyes.
"I love you, Y/N. I'm yours. Only yours."
"Then cum for me, baby," you said as you bounced up and down on her length, claiming her. "Fill me up and show me you're mine."
Her body tensed up under you and she gripped you tighter than ever as she thrusted deep inside of you, spilling herself into with a shuddering cry.
She pulsed within you, rope after rope of her cum filling you and marking you as she pulled you tightly down against her, her breath hitching as she rode out her orgasm.
When she was done cumming, she relaxed underneath you, her head falling heavily into the pillows and her eyes closing and her chest heaved up and down as she worked to catch her breath.
You looked down at her, now fully recognizing the red marks and bruises you'd left on her body in your wake of possessiveness. Maybe you'd feel a bit apologetic tomorrow, but in this moment, it just made you core pulse with need.
She was softening inside of you, but when you felt you'd given her enough of a break, you began to rock your hips subtly against her.
"Seeing you marked up like this, laying there spent, your cock warming inside of me, it has me craving you all over again," you told her.
She groaned deep in her chest as she opened her eyes to watch you sultrily rocking atop of her.
"Fuck, you're going to get me hard again," she chuckled.
You winked at her. "That's kind of the point, my love."
She exhaled steadily as she grasped your hips again and began to roll her hips up into you.
"Well you know I'm ready to go for you at any time," she smirked as she watched your hips. She smiled fully as she shifted her gaze up to your eyes. "I'm yours, after all."
"And I fucking love you for that," you whispered as you leaned down to capture her lips in a kiss.
A small squeal escaped you, muffled by her lips as she flipped you both, you now on your back with her resting atop of you between your legs.
"We've been talking a lot about how I'm yours," she said as she began to kiss her way down your neck, a series of small gasps already escaping you as you writhed underneath her, feeling her cock growing hard and full inside of you once more. "But I want to hear about how you're mine." You subconsciously punctuated her demand with a small moan.
"I know I'm not the only one who wants you," she growled as she rolled her hips into you and nipped at your neck. "And I don't like the thought of other people thinking they have a shot with you."
You gasped, your core tightening around her. "They don't," you told her.
"And why is that?" She asked as she began to suck on your neck, making sure to leave a bruise.
"Because I'm yours," you told her unequivocally.
"Well how are they going to know that if I don't mark you? If there isn't a way for them to see that you belong to me?"
"Oh fuck," you gasped and she began to draw her hips back fully and sink completely into you in a slow, purposeful pace.
"At the very least I need to leave some hickeys," she said lightly as she switched sides. "At a glance someone will know you've already been taken." She grasped your hands and pinned them above your head. "Maybe a ring someday. That'd do the trick." She drew her hips back and thrust firmly into you, drawing a cry of pleasure from you. "Best of all though, would be if you were holding my baby on your hip, another one inside of you, rounding you out. Fuck. There'd be absolutely no doubt, then."
"Oh my God," you said, voice quivering with arousal at her words. You could feel yourself spilling onto the sheets below you. Maybe it was her cum from before or your endless arousal; you couldn't be sure, but you were absolutely throbbing with need for her.
She continued to mark you up as she pleasured you patiently and skillfully. You writhed beneath her, her hand holding yours in place above you.
"I want to touch you," you pleaded. She released your hands with no protest.
"Take me, Jess," you said as your hands wandered wildly along her back, her body unable to stay still.
"My cum's already deep inside of you," she mumbled against your skin with a smirk. "I'd say I've already taken you." She lifted herself up to look down at you. "But I can't get enough of you. I want to take you over and over. Make you mine every time so you never forget."
"I could never," you panted.
"You are the only one I need," she told you as she began to quicken her pace, the bed beginning to creak beneath her movements. "I want to make sure I'm the only one you need."
"God, you fuck me so good, Jess. You're all I need," you assured her as you pulled her down tightly onto you again, wanting the heat of her skin directly on as much of you as possible.
"You're my girl," she whispered adoringly against you as her hips thrust into you.
"I'm your girl," you reiterated, panting in her ear as she fucked you harder and deeper into the mattress.
"Oh God, nobody's ever made me feel this good," you said as the wet sounds of her cock driving in and out of your slick pussy overwhelmed you.
"And no one else ever will because you're mine now," she told you.
"Oh God," you whimpered as you clawed up her back and simply held on as she fucked you senseless.
"I'm going to cum again," she told you. "Where do you want it?"
"Inside me. Please. Always," you panted. "I want you to cum inside me. Claim me."
"Right answer," she said smugly as she began to dig her knees deeper into the bed, giving herself more leverage as she began to pound into you with enough force that your body was being shimmied up the bed until your head began to jostle against the headboard.
"Here it comes, baby," she said. "Gonna make you mine again."
"Please, Jess, please. I need it," you whimpered.
Immediately, she was grunting over top of you, her rapid thrusts halting as she ground her hips into your heat, pouring her cum as deep inside of you as possible.
You spasmed around her cock, gripping it rhythmically as radiant heat filled you as your orgasm overtook you. You name was on her lips and echoing off the walls of your room for all the neighbours to hear.
She laid heavily on top of you, cock softening inside of you once more, as you both rested in the wake of your climaxes. Her weight on top of you made you feel safe and secure and you didn't want her to move.
In time, she pushed herself up off of your torso, laying gentle, sweet kisses to satiate you as your hummed in complaint.
"I don't want to crush you, baby," she told you. Despite your denial, she lifted herself up fully onto her knees, drawing back to where the head of her softened cock was the only thing left plugging your entrance.
"Let's see how much of a mess we made," she said with a teasing smirk as she pushed down on her cock so it popped out of you. A smile spread across her face and her eyes lit up as cum began to drip out of you to further stain the sheets.
"Fuck. With the way you make me cum, your pussy really was made for me," she said as she dipped two fingers inside of you to scoop out some cum. She showed you briefly before pushing it back inside of you. She smiled at you. "Right where it belongs."

Tumblr media
There wasn’t a day in your life when you weren’t promised to Gojo Satoru. No, not even a single second. As soon as you opened your eyes exactly one hour apart from the honoured one, you were promised to him for eternity. You, an ordinary girl from an average sorcerer family, married into the wealthy Gojo clan.
What a lucky girl you are.
“Watch your step, dumbass.”
Truly lucky.
“Sorry”, you mutter more to yourself than the white-haired boy who just crashed into your shoulder roughly.
Truth is, Satoru and you never got along well. Was it the pressure from both your parents, the tension that filled the air whenever you entered the same room? The unspoken promise your parents gave, the fact that you’ll have to carry his children rather sooner than later.
After all, this is what all of this mess is about. You were chosen because Satoru Gojo is forced to guarantee the next bloodline of successful sorcerers, to bring up another honoured one. Why you?
“The fact that you were born on the same day was a sign of heaven. It was meant to be. It was fate.”
Or rather a stupid coincidence, how you like to call it.
A stupid coincidence that chained you to a boy who looks at you with so much disgust in his gaze that you can’t help but feel that numb throbbing in your chest whenever he walks by.
It’s not like you care about his opinion. To be honest, you don’t know a lot about the honoured one who carefully avoids you like the plague. But maybe the fact that he doesn’t even know you and still decides to hate you to the brim is even more hurtful than that.
“Don’t think too much of it. He had a rough day, (y/n).”
You give the black-haired boy in front of you a small smile. Unlike Gojo, Suguru always makes sure to check on you. When Gojo is out for yet another mission, the two of you share your lunchbreaks with each other while talking about everything and everyone. Unlike your fiancé, Suguru really seems to enjoy your company.
“How was your mission? I heard it was pretty rough”, he continues, guiding you to a bench nearby and sitting down next to you.
“It was. A lot of people had to die because of nothing. I wasn’t able to save them all…”, you mutter.
Will you ever hold a candle against the great Satoru Gojo? In comparison to him, you always felt like a dim light in the wind. One wrong movement, one challenging mission and you’re gone.
“Even a special grade sorcerer can’t save everyone. Even Satoru has to deal with losses from time to time, you know?”
“Why are you wasting your time talking to trash again, Suguru?”
You follow his all too familiar voice until your gaze reaches his ice-cold glare. When was the last time he smiled at you? Maybe he never did in the first place.
“Please, it’s okay Suguru. Don’t start-“
“You’d know that’s not true if you’d actually talk to (y/n)”, Suguru replies dryly while positioning himself in front of you.
Oh no, you desperately tried avoiding situations like those. If there’s one think Gojo can’t let slide, it’s being provoked. And if there’s one thing you can’t stand, it’s confrontation.
Gojo’s smirk twists into something colder, his gaze shifting briefly to you before settling back on Suguru. You can feel your guts turn in an instant, mind already preparing for whatever he’ll throw at you next.
"Oh, is that what you think, Suguru?" he sneers.
"If you knew the whole story, you’d know she’s only here because her parents practically sold her off. Guess they figured a rich fiancé would solve all their little problems."
Your parents, selling you off? You swallow hard, desperately trying to get rid of that tight knot that starts building up in your throat almost immediately. Is that all he sees in you? He, the man who’s supposed to spend his whole life with you? Him, who ruined every minor chance you had on a romantic relationship? It’s not only his life that got turned upside down by that stupid bond both your parents made years ago.
Suguru’s expression hardens, his jaw clenched as he stands firmly between you and Gojo.
"That’s low, even for you, Satoru.”
Something inside you snaps. The quiet, bothering frustration you've carried for so long starts to boil over.
Before you can think it through, you step forward, your voice steadier than you feel.
"Is that really all you think of me, Gojo?"
The words surprise even you, but you push on, meeting his cold gaze.
"Do you really believe I wanted any of this?"
Your voice is tight but clear, every word sharpened by the years you've kept silent.
"You think I asked to be engaged to someone who looks at me like I'm some burden? As if I had any more choice in this than you did?"
Gojo's smirk falters slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing his face, but he quickly schools his expression.
But you don’t back down. Not when those words are finally flying off your tightened chest.
"It’s not only your life that got flipped upside down by this arrangement. I’ve tried to make the best of it, tried to make it work, but I can't do that if you’re determined to see me as nothing but a... a gold digger, a burden, a disease."
You take a shaky breath, feeling the knot in your throat loosen as you finally speak your truth.
Suguru glances back at you, his expression softening with something close to pride. Gojo, for once, stays silent, his gaze unreadable as he looks at you.
Did you really talk to him? You, who usually didn’t even dare to meet his gaze, who never talked to him again after he made fun of you in front of the entire school? You, who never voiced her opinion, who never dared to raised her voice? You always played along, always lived right by his side without a single word of protest. And now you’re standing in front of him, your rapid breaths hanging in the air, your beautiful face twisted in a mix of unreadable feelings.
“I never asked for this engagement. All I ever did was getting born into this word”, you croak out, voice breaking mid-sentence.
God, you have to look pathetic right now with tears filling your eyes to the brim and fists shaking. How did someone like you end up being the fiancé of none other than Gojo Satoru? He needs someone feisty, someone who can stand up to him, whose confidence overpowers his humor. Is was the worst match right from the start, doomed to failure.
But how are you supposed to live with this outlook? What about the happy future you imagined way too often before drifting off to sleep, the caring and loving husband you always wished for? All those looks at boys you never risked because of him while he was out there drooling after other girls. How are you supposed to be okay with the stinging fact that your future husband feels nothing but disgust for you?
“But you know what’s the worst? You never even gave me a chance, never allowed me to get to know you. We’re strangers because you decided we’ll be. And you hate me even though you don’t even know my favourite color.”
You need to get out of here right now. Out of this way too constricting hallway, away from him and his judging glare while tears stream down your face like a waterfall. You never asked for this puny life in the shadow of Satoru Gojo, waiting for the day he is forced to marry and sleep with you.
You never wanted this.
“Suguru”, Satoru speaks up after what feels like an eternity.
“Can you tell me what’s her favorite color?”
-a few weeks later-
His eyes scan the lonely hallway you usually hide yourself in automatically, desperately searching for any sign of you.
Satoru hasn’t seen you since that day. And to be honest, he felt like a jerk ever since. Your words cut through his heart like a hot knife, the agony in your voice still echoing through his mind. You don’t deserve the pain he caused you. Fuck, he never even deserved you in the first place.
You in that sundress, sitting in the down-going sun while reading all those books he’d never understand. You with your cursed technique that would beat him by miles if it wasn’t for his six eyes. You with your calm and collected demeanour that made every single of your classmates here at jujutsu high fall hard for you.
Truth is, Satoru Gojo never had the courage to approach you. Not after treating you so horribly when you were kids, not when he was never the man you’d deserve. What if you’d reject him, what if your heart belongs to someone else?
“I’m a coward”, Gojo groans while letting himself fall tragically against a nearby wall.
“Can’t argue with that. Are you really telling me you treated her like shit because you didn’t wanna marry her back when both of you were kids?”, Suguru comments dryly.
“Stop judging me Suguru, you’re supposed to be my mental support!”
“Not when you’re acting like the biggest douchebag walking on earth. What the hell were you thinking?”
Gojo lets out a long sigh, dragging a hand through his hair in frustration.
"You don’t get it, Suguru," he mutters, staring down at his feet. "
It wasn’t that I didn’t want to marry her, or that I thought she wasn’t good enough or something. It’s just… I never had a choice. Neither of us did."
Suguru crosses his arms, his expression unimpressed.
"And that justifies you treating her like garbage? You realize how pathetic that sounds, right?"
Gojo winces, the truth hitting harder than he'd like to admit.
"Yeah, I know. But back then... all I could see was that my whole life had been decided for me. My parents barely even asked if I wanted it. They just assumed it was best for the clan, for me, whatever."
"So, what? You took it out on her?"
“I know it sounds stupid, but I felt... trapped. And she was part of that trap. Every time I saw her, it just reminded me of everything I couldn’t choose for myself. I thought if I pushed her away, maybe it’d hurt less. Maybe I’d feel like I was in control."
Suguru shakes his head, a mixture of sympathy and disbelief in his eyes.
"So instead of talking to her, you just became the one thing she’d never want in a partner?"
Gojo leans back against the wall, staring blankly at the ceiling.
"Yeah, genius move, right? I thought I could make her hate me, so she'd never have to be tied down to some jerk who couldn’t get over himself. But instead... I just made her hate me for real."
Suguru’s silence says more than any scolding could, and Gojo closes his eyes, feeling the weight of his own choices settle heavily on him.
“Truth is, I secretly looked out for her when I had the chance. I even listened to some of your conversations from time to time.”
“That’s pathetic, man. She’s literally your fiancé-“
“I GET IT OKAY.”
Gojo signs to himself while rubbing his eyes over and over again.
“I fucked up, okay? I need to talk to her.”
“Good idea after more than 16 years of ignoring her”, Suguru comments dryly.
-on the battlefield-
You can’t catch your breath, your own blood taking your sight almost completely. This was supposed to be an easy mission for a special grade sorcerer. Go in, get the artefact, save the people and leave. You’ve done that 100 times already.
But today?
You cough up the bitter taste of iron, crimson now covering your shaky hands.
Today you’re closer to dying than you’ve ever been before.
Over and over, again and again you get smashed into nearby building. What are you supposed to do? Who should you call?
Satoru?
Your heart tightens in an instant. Would he be sad if you die right here and now? Probably not. After all that would mean that he’s free, that he’s able to live his life unchained with a girl he can choose himself.
Lucky Gojo.
Your eyes dart towards the frightening creature that starts building itself up in font of your eyes again. You were able to evacuate all the innocent people out of this curtain along with the artefact this thing guarded. You did your job, right?
It wouldn’t be a shame if you die right here and now…right?
Another wave of venom darts towards you at neck breaking speed. Oh, your body feels so tired, your muscles sore from the countless times you tried to escape that monster already, your bones and joints begging you for a break.
A break would be okay, right? Giving up right here and now doesn’t hurt anyone…right?
You allow your eyes to flutter shut, your body to sink to the ground. Only a few seconds and it will be over. You did what you could, fought until the very end. Maybe Gojo or Suguru will be able to defeat this curse.
“(y/n), what the hell are you doing? Get out of the way?”
It happens faster than your eyes nap back open again. From one millisecond to the other, you find yourself devoured in Gojo Satoru’s arms while dashing through the bloody red sky.
“Are you out of your goddamn mind, (y/n)!? You could have died right there on the spot!”, he screams on top of his lungs, eyes glowing in a dreadful blue you’ve never seen before.
“I-…I’m sorry.”
“You’re sorry? You could be dead by now, nothing but a puddle of blood. You…are you insane!?”
“I finished my mission. That’s all that counts”, you reply automatically.
Oh, how much you hate that familiar sting of tears in your eyes, the way your throat starts aching all over again.
“You have to be fucking kidding me…Finished your mission!? What was your mission, killing yourself!?”
“Why do you even care?”, you suddenly cry out just as loud as him.
“It’s not like you give a damn about me!”
Your words hit him like a bullet straight to his heart. How much he hates to admit that you’re right, that he can’t blame you for feeling this way. After all, it was him who treated you like trash for your whole life, who pretended to not give a damn about you. From your point of view, there really is no reason for him to care.
Gojo stares at you, his breath ragged, his usual composure shattered as he hovers in the air with you cradled securely in his arms. For a moment, he can’t speak, his mind racing with everything he’s hidden, all the words he’s swallowed over the years. Finally, his eyes soften, and he looks at you with something so raw that it makes your heart ache.
“Why do I care?” he repeats, his voice quieter now, almost vulnerable.
“Because I’ve been an idiot, (y/n). A complete fool. I thought… I thought if I just kept my distance, if I acted like I didn’t care, maybe it would hurt less when I knew you’d never choose to be with someone like me.”
Your eyes widen, every ounce of bitterness and confusion momentarily fading as you take in his words. Is that really Gojo Satoru talking to you? The boy who ignored you since birth? Your fiancé who made it more than clear that he’ll never like you?
“You… what?”
He lets out a shaky laugh, looking away for a second as he tries to collect himself.
“I know it sounds crazy. I thought pushing you away would make it easier - for both of us. I thought if I made you hate me, then maybe you wouldn’t feel as trapped by this whole… engagement thing. I didn’t want you to think you were stuck with me.”
You blink, trying to wrap your mind around his words.
“So… all of this, the coldness, the insults… it was all to push me away?”
Gojo nods, his jaw clenched.
"Yeah. I wanted you to feel free. Free to be with whoever you wanted. Even if that meant I’d be out of the picture. I thought it would be better for you if I was the last person you’d ever want. And honestly, that whole marriage thing scared the crap out of me since I understood what it means…"
Your heart aches at the confession, and despite everything, you feel yourself softening. Softening for a little boy who was chained onto a woman he didn’t even know, a boy who didn’t even think about girls back then.
“But Satoru… that just hurt me even more. I thought you couldn’t stand me. All these years, you made it clear for everyone to see.”
He closes his eyes, guilt clear on his face.
“I know. I realize now how much I messed up. But I didn’t know how else to keep myself from… from caring too much. From wanting more than I should, more than I can afford.”
He opens his eyes, and there’s a depth in his gaze that makes your breath catch.
“Because the truth is, (y/n), I do care. I’ve always cared. Way more than I ever wanted to admit.”
You stare at him, heart pounding as his words sink in.
"Satoru… why didn’t you just tell me? Why didn’t we just talk this through?"
“Because I didn’t think I was what you deserved,” he admits, voice barely above a whisper.
“You’re kind, patient, brilliant… and me? I’m reckless, arrogant, and stubborn. I figured if I stayed away, maybe you’d find someone better.”
He sighs, looking down with a faint, almost self-deprecating smile.
"But even then, I couldn’t stay away, could I? The moment I thought you were in danger, I-" He trails off, shaking his head.
"I would’ve torn that curse apart with my bare hands if it meant keeping you safe."
You swallow, unable to keep the tears from welling up as you finally see the truth he’s tried to hide for so long.
“All this time, I thought… I thought you hated me.”
Gojo’s gaze softens, and he gently wipes a tear from your cheek with the pad of his thumb.
“I was an idiot,” he murmurs, his voice breaking a little.
“I was so wrapped up in my own fears that I hurt the one person I actually wanted to be close to. And I’m so, so sorry, (y/n). I’ve been a fool. You deserved so much better than how I treated you.”
He pauses, and there’s a softness in his eyes that you’ve never seen before, like he’s finally allowing himself to be vulnerable with you.
“I don’t expect you to forgive me,” he says, voice thick with emotion.
“But I need you to know… I don’t want to keep pretending anymore. I don’t want to keep pushing you away. I just want… I just want to be by your side, if you’ll let me.”
A warmth spreads through you, his words slowly melting the hurt he caused. Despite everything, you feel something rekindling between you, a glimmer of hope that maybe things could be different. And maybe, just maybe, Gojo Satoru will be a good friend in the future.
“You’ve been a fool, Satoru. And honestly, I can’t forgive you more than 16 years of constant pain over a few words. You…You need to prove it.”
“Yeah,” he murmurs, smiling a little as he looks at you with a fondness he no longer bothers to hide.
“I can finally start making up for it.”
-12 years later-
The training field buzzes with the usual sounds of Jujutsu High’s students sparring and practicing, but today, there’s an extra spark of excitement in the air. Rumors had spread that Gojo’s wife, the famous sorcerer he’d somehow managed to marry, was stopping by for a visit.
Nobara, and Yuji exchange glances, all curious and maybe a little nervous. After all, they’d seen Gojo in action before: cold, powerful, a little too confident for his own good. What kind of person could possibly keep up with him? They wait, watching the gates eagerly, until finally, a familiar figure strides onto the training field, radiating warmth and energy.
“Can y’all stop acting so ridiculous? It’s only (y/n)”, Megumi murmurs in sheer confusion.
“Only the (y/n)!?”, Nobara shrieks.
“Watch your mouth, sea urchin!”, Gojo replies so frustrated that Megumi can’t help but roll his eyes.
What is he fussing about? It’s not like he sees you every single day. As his wife, you’re basically always around if it isn’t for a mission.
“(Y/N)!” Gojo shouts, waving both arms in the air like an excited kid when finally seeing you walk through the gate.
His grin is wide, almost blinding, and it only grows wider as he rushes toward you. You can’t help but laugh, stepping into his embrace as he pulls you close.
“Right on time, huh?” you tease, letting the affection seep into your tone as you look up at him, the playful glint in your eyes unmistakable.
“Of course! How could I not be excited when my beautiful wife is here?” he responds, pulling back just enough to meet your gaze, a mix of adoration and mischief in his eyes.
Nobara leans in closer to Yuji, whispering,
“Is he always like this?”
Yuji nods enthusiastically, grinning.
“Yep! He’s totally whipped!”
Megumi rolls his eyes, but even he can’t hide the hint of a smile at his friend’s antics.
“I can’t believe he used to treat her like trash,” he mutters, crossing his arms.
“HE WHAT!?”
You catch that last bit and can’t help but smirk, turning back to Gojo.
“Remember when you thought being a jerk was the way to go because our marriage was arranged? And now you’re treating me like a princess in front of your students? I’d love to show that mini Satoru.”
Gojo feigns innocence, placing a hand dramatically over his heart.
“I was just preparing you for the royal treatment! Didn’t want to spoil you too much right away.”
You shake your head, chuckling as you poke him in the side.
“Oh, please. You had a lot of catching up to do after your earlier mistakes.”
“Hey! I was young and foolish! I’ve learned since then!” he retorts, laughter dancing in his eyes while he pulls you even closer towards him.
“And now I’m the luckiest guy in the world!”
“You’ve always been the luckiest guy in the world with (y/n) being promised to you”, Megumi comments dryly.
The students watch the playful banter, caught somewhere between awe and amusement as you continue to tease Gojo about his past shitty behaviour, his eyes never leaving your mesmerizing gaze.
“Just remember, Satoru,” you say, leaning in conspiratorially, “you’ll never live down how badly you treated me. I’ll be sure to remind you every chance I get until the day you die.”
Gojo laughs, his blue eyes sparkling with joy and affection.
“Bring it on, I’ll just keep proving to you how much you mean to me!”
And with that, he presses his lips against yours. Longingly, with that passion that sweeps you off your feet over and over again. Just a few years ago, you didn’t even allow yourself of thinking about kissing that man, let alone lying in his arms for something apart from fighting. He’s not only your husband, but he loves you. Gojo Satoru adores you with all his heart and you simply can’t get enough of this, enough of him.
“Gosh, that’s kinda gross”, Nobara mutters under her breath.
“Watch out young lady. Who knows if you’ll get married to your pink-haired friend here sooner or later? Arranged marriages are common in the jujutsu sorcerer society. Trust me, been there, done that-”
“ME AND THAT GUY!? NEVER!”
“Hey, there’s no need to sound so disgusted. I’m sure I’ll be a great husband…”

this has been on my tbr-list forever and since i went to a wedding a few weeks ago i thought it was time to finally read this, and i'm just glad i didn't read it before because i would've left that wedding slightly disappointed 🤭
that first description of joel was so so hot!! the tight jeans and the iron maiden shirt? i'm sure i never wanted anyone more omg but that little beat of description, "old enough to remember the Nixon administration" made me laugh, and i think it perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the fic because this story hot and romantic and sweet and very very sexy, and you managed to already convey all of that in the first few paragraphs
i'm also a big fan of them trying to hold back and telling themselves that the other doesn't want them/thinks they're old and creepy because it's so obvious from the start that they can't stay away, and i loved them both masturbating while thinking about the other!!
i also loved the way this was written in general, from the description and the characters and the dialogue to the great imagery you used, like "You’ve stuck a fork in an outlet and you want to do it again." that's such a cool image idk why but i'm kinda obsessed with it
and finally, i absolutely adored the relationship between joel and ms reader, like when he was making sure she really wanted to do this and that she was enjoying herself and when he was watching her face to make sure he was doing a good job, or when she thought about praising him!! all those little moments that showed their care and concern for each other were so so hot and made me love this even more
but my favorite line probably was, "It’s nothing short of heady, to know that you have such a profound effect on a man you thought might be immune to you." i hope i get to experience this at least once because 🥹
and finally the ending was perfect!!! "He takes your hand before unlocking and opening the door, and he doesn’t let it go until he absolutely has to." the romance of it all made my heart clench, but also the way he said "thank you" after she agreed to come to his room? we love a man who goes after what he wants but is also vulnerable about it 🥹
every breath you take

Tumblr media
June, 2013.
After months of planning—stress, sweat, and tears abounding—the big night is here. Well, almost here. The actual wedding is tomorrow, but tonight is the rehearsal dinner; and as your adoptive dad has spent the entire preparatory period impressing upon you, the rehearsal might be even more important than the wedding itself.
With that in mind, you arrive at the venue a few hours early to assist with the set up. Seeing the unassembled pieces and parts of the event brings a smile to your face and a determination to your soul–you want this to be perfect.
Someone else shares your determination, too.
You would’ve sworn, when you first met him, that an elaborate wedding would be the very last thing Bill would want. And yet this has been as much his planning as it has been your dad’s. It brings so much joy to your heart that your dad has found someone who matches him so completely. You couldn’t be happier for them; and at the same time, you couldn’t be more frustrated for yourself. Because, as dedicated as you are to making this day perfect for them, Bill’s best man and long-time friend is maybe even more dedicated. He’s been turning this wedding into a ‘friendly’ competition between the two of you, trying to one-up you at every opportunity he gets. It’s infuriating—especially when he wears that smug grin that’s become his signature expression around you. It’s torture, too, because all you want to do is kiss that stupid smirk right off his handsome face.
It’s unintentional on his part, you’re sure, but the tension is palpable enough to slice with a butter knife nonetheless. Today is no exception—he’s dressed for labor in worn jeans that are just a little too tight around his thighs and a faded Iron Maiden shirt that hugs his strong biceps. His hair is ruffled like he’s been tugging and running his hands through it, and it puts all kinds of indecent thoughts into your brain.
It’s wrong. The guy’s old enough to be your dad, and that’s aside from the fact that he’s your soon-to-be-stepdad’s best man. No self-respecting young woman should be looking at a guy who’s old enough to remember the Nixon administration the way you are right now. And yet…
“Mornin’, sweetheart,” he says in that drawl of his which makes you want to throw your sanity out the window and fall at his feet to worship the very ground he walks on.
You’ve never hated Joel Miller more than you do right now.
Regardless, you greet him with the sweetest smile you can muster. “Good morning. I didn’t know you’d be here this early.”
“Well, rehearsal’s as important as the weddin’ itself,” he dutifully repeats the line that you’ve heard from your dad a million times over. “And this barn ain’t gonna decorate itself.”
“Well, that’s kinda my job,” you remind him, hoping your tone sounds more annoyed to him than it does to you.
He flashes that boyish smile that no middle-aged man should be able to master, and it makes your heart skip a beat. “Can’t let you have all the fun, can I?”
You want to grumble about it. You want to be annoyed by this goofy-ass forty-five year old man and his stupid competitive streak. Instead, your mouth betrays you by smiling. “I appreciate the help.”
“Anytime, sweetheart.” He punctuates it with a wink, and you consider just falling onto the ground and perishing. Instead, you roll up your shirt sleeves and get to work.
Tumblr media
The fruits of your labor are well worth the effort they take. You feel a heady sense of pride when you look around at all the decor–as long as this barn has been a wedding venue, you’re certain no one’s ever made it look this good before.
The tables are arranged neatly in rows, draped with luxurious white tablecloths and topped with neat arrangements of greenery in the centers. The seating chart that Bill and Frank worked so meticulously on is put into effect with hand-written placards designating each chair to an occupant. Strings of white globe lights hang from the rafters and cast a hazy, reverent glow over the entire barn. Everything is the perfect mix of modern and rustic.
Outside on the lawn, rows of neatly arranged chairs line a petal-scattered aisle. Everything leads to the focal point–an eight-foot high arch wrapped generously in green vines and white blossoms. It’s definitely the highlight of the entire thing, which irks you just the slightest bit–it was solely Joel’s vision. Apparently, he’s a lot more artistic than you’ve ever given him credit for. It tracks, you suppose; construction is an artform if you really think about it. He uses his hands to create just like a sculptor, but to a larger scale. And those hands are capable; you’ve seen exactly how much they can move or carry and you wonder if they could–
You shake off that train of thought before it can go any further. If you can’t get yourself under control you’re going to start wearing a rubberband on your wrist that you can snap every time your thoughts about Joel stray into the ‘things you shouldn’t be thinking about a middle-aged man’ category.
He certainly has aged like fine wine for a forty-five-year-old man, though…
Snap.
With a sigh, you give your head a shake in hopes of clearing your mind and take a look down at your watch. You’ve finished with perfect timing–you’ve got about two hours to go home and get cleaned up before you have to be back for the rehearsal dinner.
You look for Joel for a few moments before leaving, but he’s nowhere to be found. It puzzles you a little bit that he wouldn’t at least say goodbye before leaving, but then again he really doesn’t have to answer to you. It’s a well-needed wake up call, a reminder that your feelings–can whatever you’re going through really be called that?–your attraction, is one-sided. He’s here for Bill and Frank, not for you. You’re his best friend’s daughter and nothing more, and the realization washes over you like a bucket of ice water.
You hate the way it sends you spiraling on the drive home. You hate the way you care so much about what he might think of you. You hate the way that you have to look at yourself in the mirror and give yourself a stern talking-to about needing to let this whole stupid crush go. You hate the way that you can’t even pretend the extra layer of mascara you apply isn’t for him.
You avoid Joel the entire night, which isn’t easy to do. You have to walk down the aisle next to him during the ceremony rehearsal but you avoid his eye contact, taking a twisted little satisfaction in the way he frowns when all of your replies to his chit chat are short and clipped. Dinner is easier–both Frank and Bill sit between you and Joel, so there’s no attempted conversation to deflect from him. But you could almost swear you feel his eyes on you, as if he’s looking right through your dad and soon-to-be-stepdad.
Joel is puzzled, to put it simply. One second, he’s got you in the palm of his hand. Then a moment later, you’re looking at him like you might look at a bug you stepped on and got stuck to your shoe.
He puts it out of mind as much as he can. He’s not supposed to be looking at you like that, after all. He’s not supposed to be admiring the perfectly kissable curve of your shoulder or the biteable expanse of your neck. He’s definitely not supposed to be wondering what you’re wearing under that adorable dress of yours. You’re his best friend’s daughter, for god’s sake. You’re so far off limits that he shouldn’t even be looking in your general direction.
But he is. He’s looking, and he can’t stop looking. And most of all, he can’t stop wondering if you feel it too.
Evidently you don’t, because you won’t even take his arm as you practice walking up the aisle in preparation for the big day tomorrow. You’ve probably figured out how much he’s been thinking about you and the kinds of things he’s been thinking, and you’re disgusted. He’s just a dirty old man to you, surely.
Little does Joel know that you come on your fingers moaning his name practically as soon as you’re through the door of your hotel room that night. You fall asleep before you can feel too ashamed about it–blissfully unaware that Joel’s doing the same exact thing just a few doors down.
Tumblr media
You wake up in the morning with much more clarity than you usually have, especially at 9AM.
No matter what, today is about Bill and Frank. You get to be part of a true love story, the kind that your dad used to read about to you in bedtime stories when you were a little girl. That knowledge steadies your mind more than anything else ever could.
You jump into the shower and try your best to tame your unruly hair before shuffling down to the dining area on the ground floor of the hotel.
Bill and Frank really spared no expense on this place. All the food is fresh and hot, replenished every few minutes. It smells incredible–there’s overlapping waves of pastries, sausages, eggs, and fruits. It’s almost overwhelming; there’s way too many options.
After you pile up a plate with as much as your stomach can comfortably handle, you make your way over to the table your father occupies by himself.
“I was wondering when you were going to show up,” he says through a mouthful of cantaloupe.
“Decided to sleep in a little,” you explain. “Where’s Bill?”
“He already had breakfast, he’s getting ready,” Frank explains. “Joel made out a whole schedule for us, put us on different shifts so we don’t see each other before the wedding. It’s bad luck, after all.”
You snort through a bite of biscuits and gravy, because that’s such a characteristically Joel thing to do. From what you know of him, he thrives with routine and function–you’re surprised he doesn’t have you working off of a schedule, too.
A small, annoying part of your brain thinks it’s really adorable that Joel plays into that whole superstition. Another, more sensible part tells you that nothing Joel does is adorable and you’ve really got to stop thinking about him so much.
“How’re you feeling?” You ask, looking up at your dad through a bite of blueberry muffin.
“Relieved, honestly,” he admits with a chuckle and a twinkle in his eye. “I finally get to marry my best friend today, with my other best friend by my side.”
You hide the way the comment makes you choke up behind another bite of your breakfast.
There have been a lot of times where you’ve gone unwanted in your life; starting right at birth, continuing with unrequited crushes and lost friendships. But one person has always wanted you and been there for you through thick and thin. Frank picks you up every time no matter how hard you fall, and you feel so unbelievably lucky to be in his life.
If anyone deserves a fairytale ending, it’s Frank. He always puts the people he cares about first, and now it’s his turn to shine. You’re not letting anything get in the way of that–especially not stupid, unrequited feelings for the best man.
With a little more resolve in your mind, it’s easier to get ready for the main event.
Every step of your preparation has been immaculately planned over the course of months. From your dress to your make-up, to your hair, not one detail has been overlooked. It takes you more than an hour to get ready–but when you’re ready, you’re a vision. Even though you’re not normally the type to enjoy looking into the mirror, you have to admit to yourself that you look stunning.
Your traitorous brain wonders if Joel will think the same.
With a heavy sigh, you grab your bag and your car keys. You really wish you had a way to shut those intruding little wishful thoughts off–they’re doing more harm than good at this point.
You take a deep breath, shove as much as you can down, and resolve to have a good time celebrating your dads–then you open the door and set out towards an unforgettable night.
Tumblr media
Whatever kind of shock and awe you were hoping to inspire in Joel, it’s surely nothing compared to the rush you feel as you find him in the bridal party lounge.
You’ve never seen him quite so put together. He’s normally a bit undone–a symptom of being a long-time bachelor–but today, he’s perfectly styled. The hair he’s been growing out is slicked back into gorgeous curls, his black tuxedo pants hug his hips like a dream. He’s in the process of fastening the last two buttons on his impeccable white dress shirt and every bone in your body screams to stop him–to keep that peek of his tanned chest on display for your hungry eyes.
You have a fearful moment of thinking you actually made the request aloud, because he does stop in his tracks when his eyes land on you. His lips part in shock and his pupils dilate and he freezes. Fingers that were once absentmindedly completing their task drop to his sides as he murmurs something that sounds suspiciously like “wow.”
“Need help?” You offer before you can think better of it.
There’s a long moment of tense silence, and then he nods silently.
Your mouth is dry as you approach him, trying desperately to keep your cool. Your clammy palms are definitely not the most qualified to complete this task for him, but you can’t back down now. With a deep breath–you’re so close now that it fills your nose with the spicy, intoxicating scent of his cologne–you will your hands to stay steady and reach for his shirt buttons.
His lead tongue finally remembers how to work as you fasten the first button. “You look… incredible.”
“So do you,” you whisper. Just when you think you’re out of the woods, ready to step back and breathe properly again, his hand comes up to offer you a bow tie.
“This too?” His warm brown eyes search yours–how could he ever expect you to say no?
“Y-yeah. Sure.” You turn the collar of his shirt up, then carefully fasten the tie around his neck. The band is perfectly configured to his neck, the bow already tied–all you have to do is secure a hook through a loop. He could’ve easily done this himself; and yet he didn’t. He wanted you to do this, and that particular bit of knowledge sends a rush of heat burning through your veins.
Maybe this whole song and dance isn’t quite as unrequited as you originally thought.
Your fingers brush his warm skin as you smooth his shirt collar back down over the band of the tie and it’s like an electric shock that shoots through every inch of your body. You’ve stuck a fork in an outlet and you want to do it again.
You’re done with your task, yet you can’t bring yourself to step away. He doesn’t either–for seconds that feel like hours, you look into those dark eyes and feel his breath against your face and you finally have the courage to do something about it. You’re going to kiss him, just lean in a little further and–
The sound of the lounge door opening makes your body jolt with the force of an actual fork in an outlet.
“There you are!” Frank’s got an untamable smile on his face–his hair is impeccably gelled back, his white tuxedo tailored to fit like a glove. The sight of him, so close to everything he’s ever wanted, brings tears to your eyes. “Wow, you two look amazing.”
“Hey. Thanks.” You’re fighting with all your strength to keep your voice even and calm despite the compliment. The reality of your father’s happily ever after comes crashing in and you’ve never felt so proud. “First look time?”
“Yeah,” he confirms with a nod. “Is Bill–?”
“Dressin’,” Joel answers after clearing his throat. “I’ll bring ’im out when he’s done.”
“Perfect, thank you.” Frank takes your hand to lead you outside, but not before you look over your shoulder at Joel. He looks thoroughly disheveled despite his sharp appearance–you’ve gotten under his skin. Good.
Thank god for waterproof make-up because you nearly lose your whole face during the first look. Not that you’re wearing much, but it’s enough that it’s jeopardized by the tears your treacherous eyes shed despite trying in vain to will them away.
You’ve never been so happy for two people before. You’ve never seen two people more in love. In their matching white tuxes, with their matching watery eyes, as they turn to greet each other for the first time today, you know that Bill and Frank are a forever thing. It brings you a sense of peace that you never knew was possible.
At some point, you become conscious of the fact that you’re holding Joel’s hand. You know you probably shouldn’t, that you could get both of you in serious trouble–but he’s not pulling away, so neither do you.
The true test of your mascara comes during the ceremony–it passes the test with flying colors, which is truly impressive considering the tsunami it has to hold up against. You’ve never really been a wedding cryer, although you suppose no one would blame you for this one. You’re hardly the only person walking away with tissues to their eyes. Bill and Frank have loved so hard and fought for so long in order to obtain this day–it’s nothing short of incredible to see them finally seal their union with vows.
Before the reception, you pop into the bridal lounge to make sure you’re still presentable. A couple tissues later and you’re good to go, but the sound of the door opening and the lock clicking into place stops you in your tracks.
Joel’s standing there, looking like a dream. Curls slightly disheveled from the wind, top two buttons of his shirt undone with his bowtie hanging out of his jacket pocket. His eyes are slightly red-rimmed, albeit not as bad as yours.
His breath seems to catch when he sees you–he clears his throat before whispering, “Hey.”
For a long moment, your tongue is too heavy to speak. Every ounce of desire from earlier comes rushing back in a flash flood of emotion. It’s just you and him and tension so palpable you could grab ahold of it.
“H-hey,” you breathe. Earlier, you were ready to do something drastic. Now, all the familiar doubts come crashing back in. Are all these feelings one-sided? Were you just seeing what you wanted to see? The feeling of his hand in yours is burned into your palm. Does he feel it too?
“I think it went pretty well,” he hums. His hands are tucked into his pockets, thumbs twitching unconsciously as if he’s nervous.
“It was perfect,” you agree.
For a moment that seems to last a lifetime, you both stand toeing the line. It’s right there, unseen but waiting to be crossed. You don’t know if either of you have the courage it takes to step over it.
And then he moves; he breaks the tenuous balance of platonic and something more by closing the distance between you.
“You really do look amazin’,” he breathes, hands clenching indecisively at his sides. “I mean, you always do, but–”
You grab him before he can finish his sentence. ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ is blaring on the outdoor speakers as your lips finally meet his. It’s been weeks, maybe even months, of dreaming about this moment. It’s better than you ever could’ve imagined.
The world fades away as his breath becomes yours. There’s nothing but the feeling of his tongue sweeping across your bottom lip and his hands gripping your waist and his curls tickling your forehead. Nothing but the sound of his deep groan and the desperate thrum of his heartbeat underneath your palm as it slides up his chest. Nothing but finally feeling complete.
“W-we shouldn’t…” he murmurs, but he doesn’t dare pull away. His steps sound like cannonfire as he backs you up against the wall, a march towards something deliciously irreversible as his tight grip on your waist bunches the fabric of your dress up. Nothing has ever felt as right as his entire body surrounding and swallowing you this way.
“I want to,” you breathe against his lips. “Do you?”
“God, yes.”
Your arms come up to wrap around his neck and tug him closer, desperately wanting every inch of his body pressed up against you. Just as he’s starting to pull the skirt of your dress up, the song outside changes to ‘Don’t Stand So Close to Me’, strangely apt but also a reminder that you don’t have time. You made this playlist yourself–you know that there’s only three more songs after this one before you’re supposed to be ready for the bridal party entrance to the reception.
“Joel…” you moan out. “Joel, we have to be quick.”
“How quick?” He questions between searing kisses down the length of your neck.
“Ten minutes at the very most.”
“Shit,” he grumbles. He doesn’t pull away though–if anything, he pushes you back harder against the wall. “You still wanna do this?”
As much as you want to say yes, as much as you want to say fuck the reception, you can’t do that to Frank and Bill. “You think ten minutes is enough time?”
“If I can’t make you come in ten minutes I’ll eat my own fist.”
It makes you shiver in conjunction with the way his hand slides feather-light up your thigh.
Even the ghosting touch of his calloused fingertips on your sensitive skin has you aching for more. “Jesus Christ, you’re gonna drive me crazy.”
The cocky bastard has the audacity to actually wink at you. “That’s the plan, sweetheart.”
You drag his lips back to yours with a renewed sense of desperation, relishing the gentle scratch of his trimmed beard against your chin and under your palms. “It’s definitely working.”
“Good.”
You know this is territory that you probably shouldn’t be crossing into, not when he’s twenty years older than you and he’s your new step-dad's best friend, but you can’t be brought to care when those deliciously rough fingertips are slipping under the hem of your panties.
“Shit, sweetheart,” he grumbles against your lips. “She’s soakin’ for me.”
“A-always is,” you gasp out.
His fingers sweep through your folds, gathering as much slick as he can to swirl around your sensitive clit. He smirks at the way your hands tighten on him even at the lightest of touches.
“That how you like it, sweetheart? Nice and gentle?” He presses a little firmer and a grin spreads over his face at the gasp you let out. “Oh, that’s it.”
“Joel, please…” Your hands move to his arms, squeezing tighter than you probably should but you can’t help it when he’s touching you like this. It’s exactly what you need and he knows it–he watches your face for every little indication that he’s doing a good job.
“Please what?” He purrs quietly. “What do you need?”
You could go on like this for hours, you’re sure–and you’re sure he’d be more than willing. You could stay here in his arms forever and let him work you over until there’s nothing left in your head but his name.
The song outside changes again, and you know forever will have to wait.
“Fuck me,” you plead. “Need you.”
“It’s gonna be tight, sweetheart.” You’d think he was being overly confident if you couldn’t feel the size of the bulge pressing against your thigh.
“That’s okay. Please.”
“Alright, sweetheart.” In a flash he’s got his belt undone and your greedy hands are more than happy to assist in shoving those perfectly pressed pants down his sturdy thighs.
You can’t help the gasp that bubbles out with the sight of him. He’s big. There’s no debate. The flushed tip of him is peeking through mouth-watering foreskin, red and flushed as if angry it’s not inside you already. You’re devastated you don’t have time to take that thick length into your mouth, to make him shudder and shake until he’s begging to fill you.
Later, you remind yourself.
“Still sure about this?” He asks, tone no longer brimming with the urgency and arrogance from just a few moments prior. He searches your eyes intimately for any hint of hesitation–the last thing he wants to do is to push you.
You’ve never wanted anyone more.
“Yes,” you breathe. “Please, Joel.”
“Easy, honey. I’ve gotcha.” The hand between your thighs moves to coat him in your slick–for a moment, you’re mesmerized at the sight of his big hand working over his cock. “Gotta tell me if anythin’ doesn’t feel good, ‘kay?”
“I will, I swear, just please–”
The rest of your sentence gets lost in a breathless moan with the first gentle thrust of his hips. Even just the tip is a stretch–one that has your nails digging into his shirt-clad back and your thighs tightening around his waist.
“Shit, sweetie,” he purrs, voice liquid gold. “Gotta relax, gotta lemme in–”
You manage to loosen your thighs a little and it gives him the space he needs to press all the way in to the hilt–the feeling of him filling you completely is nothing but breathtaking. A broken groan tumbles from his lips–you can feel the way his breath hitches from how his forehead is pressed against yours. It’s nothing short of heady, to know that you have such a profound effect on a man you thought might be immune to you.
“Good?” He questions in a whisper. One of his hands is hooked under your left knee to keep your leg up around his waist; the other strokes absentminded patterns over your right hip, as if unconsciously soothing you.
You give him a shaky nod in response. “Good.”
The pace he sets is the most delicious kind of torture. You both know you’re in a time crunch, so Joel is more than happy to employ the most toe-curlingly relentless speed. Every slick thrust of his cock makes your eyes flutter–little breathy moans escape your lips with fervor as he pounds deep. He's hitting every single spot all at once and then some. All the while his lips trace around your neck and jaw, careful not to leave marks but whining quietly as if he’s tempted. As if he wants nothing more than to claim you in a way that everyone can see.
You moan out his name and the hand on your waist comes to help, settling between your bodies and finding that perfect rhythm from before. You’re finding out that he’s a very intuitive and quick learner–you would certainly praise him for it if you could find the breath to do so.
The way his hips work–driving him deeper than anyone’s ever been; the way his fingers swirl–bringing you to the brink in mere minutes with the most thigh-shaking friction; the way his mouth works, sucking just light enough on the sweet spot behind your ear so as not to leave a mark… it all builds and builds and builds, leaving you breathless and trembling and teetering on the edge of pure oblivion.
“Y’feel like fuckin’ heaven,” he gasps out against your cheek. “Never gonna get enough.”
The words alone send white-hot pleasure shooting down your spine–you’ve wanted him so badly for so long, and now you know he’s wanted you too. It feels even better with that satisfaction, with the fact of winning the prize you’ve been coveting so deeply.
“Joel…” You want to tell him the million thoughts that are rushing through your head, but your lungs aren’t cooperating.
“I know baby,” he murmurs with a particularly devastating thrust. “I know. S’okay.”
It’s too much and simultaneously not enough. You dig your nails into his shirt to tug him closer, a silent plea to get him working against that spot again. He complies without words, hitching your leg a little higher around his waist and angling his hips in a way that makes you cry out his name again.
“I’m gonna–”
“Yeah, go ‘head,” he purrs breathlessly. “Lemme feel it, come all over my cock.”
His fingers press a little firmer against your clit and that’s all you need for the knot in your stomach to unravel with blinding force. It travels through every nerve like some delicious form of spontaneous combustion, making your body shiver with the energy of it. It’s the best you’ve ever felt–you don’t think you’ll ever get enough of it, either.
“That’s it honey, holy shit…” He murmurs before finally meeting your lips again for a breathless and panting kiss. “W-where?”
For a moment, you have no clue what he could possibly be talking about. His thrusts are losing rhythm with each moment, as if he’s about to–
“Inside,” you whine out after your moment of clarity. “Please–”
“Shit,” he spits even as he drives himself impossibly deeper. “Y’sure?”
You’re not even conscious of nodding your head–all you know is that you need him completely. “It’s safe. Promise.”
“Atta girl,” he whispers. “Gonna leave you fuckin’ drippin’, won’t be able to stop feelin’ it all night–”
His head tips back as the first wave crashes over him, eyes squeezed shut and mouth dropped open as his hips grind into yours. There’s nothing short of pure ecstasy on his face with the first few ropes of cum that fill you. You’ve never seen anything quite as beautiful as the pleasure washing over this gorgeous man’s gorgeous face. Knowing that you’re the cause of all this nearly sends you over the edge all over again.
He grunts as he shoves himself a little deeper, eager to feel every inch of you as he unwinds. “Christ, honey… squeezin’ me so goddamn tight.”
“Not my fault you’re huge.”
He chuckles at that, staying seated deep within your walls for a moment longer so he can kiss you again. It’s lost its edge of desperation, but it makes up for it with an overwhelming note of sweetness. His hand cups your jaw to guide the angle and once again you’re struck by that overwhelming sense of rightness. It’s like you were meant to be here, meant to take everything he gives you and more, meant to love him.
The song outside changes to ‘Every Breath You Take’, the song before the entrance song, and you spring to action.
“Shit, Joel, we’ve got to go.”
He pulls out with an overdramatic groan, as if it hurts him to be separated now that he knows what it feels like to be joined. You can feel the drip start even before his hand comes to fix your panties, but there’s hardly enough time to worry about that.
“How’s my make-up?”
“Perfect, darlin’. Not a thing outta place.”
“Thank god for waterproof,” you chuckle as you straighten your dress.
His dark eyes meet yours as your hands smooth out his rumpled shirt–there’s still so much swirling behind them, so much promise of things to come.
“We’ve gotta go,” you repeat when he halts by the door.
“Just a sec,” he murmurs. And then he pulls you in for one final, saccharine sweet kiss. “Come to my room w’me tonight.”
“Okay,” you promise–you’re surprised you can keep your voice even when just the question makes your heart skip a beat.
“Thank you.” It’s genuine, earnest. It makes your heart skip another beat.
He takes your hand before unlocking and opening the door, and he doesn’t let it go until he absolutely has to.

Drive Me Crazy
Chapter One
None of you are used to pack dynamics. Unlike then, it made you near feral. There's nothing more they want than to build you back up.
Lestappen X Reader
Tumblr media
Heavy breaths filled the room. Charles laid against Max's chest, pressing kisses against his hand. A bitemark marred his skin, one Charles hadn't meant to place there. He hadn't meant to break Max's skin, hadn't meant to bite him just that hard.
As Charles kissed his hand, Max's attention was on his neck. He kissed his salty, sweaty skin, a small growl leaving his lips. A possessive growl, warning everybody else to stay away. Not that there was anybody else in the room with them.
The other drivers in the hotel heard his warning, heard his claim. They didn't know what it was in reference to, but knew to stay away.
"Max," Charles whispered, combing his fingers through Max's hair. He tugged on the strands, pulling Max away.
He couldn't speak, couldn't release Charles from his hold. No words would leave his lips, just growls and whines. "Max, I need to go," Charles whispered, his breathing steadier than Max's.
Max tightened his grip. No, he wouldn't let Charles go, couldn't let Charles go. His teeth grazed the skin on his neck, almost in warning. Just a few more kisses, Charles would be putty in his hands. Maybe if he bit him, showed everybody that Charles was his, just like he was Charles's.
But no, he wasn't Charles's. And Charles wasn't his. They had no claim over each other. Max released him quickly, before his body could stop him and grab for Charles again.
Charles climbed out of the hotel bed. His eyes were fixed on Max as he got himself dressed. They weren't anything but fucking, weren't in love, weren't mated wolves. They were just fucking, looking for comfort in each other that they couldn't get elsewhere.
That was what happened to wolves without packs. They had to seek bonds in a different way. And those bonds were never permanent. Temporary, fleeting bonds, moments in time.
Werewolves without a pack, without those all important bonds, were a dangerous thing. They were aggressive, with high adrenaline. That was what made them the perfect Formula One drivers.
It wasn't a decision made by the driver. The decision was made before they got to the age where pack bonds became all important, decisions made by their families. For those who didn't make it into Formula One, it ruined them, took them a long while before they could learn how to be into a pack.
Those who made it were kept isolated, alone. To those who didn't know much about Formula One, it was easy to assume that a team made up a pack. But teams were always changing, too unstable to form a pack.
Max said nothing as Charles left the hotel room. He sat there, still for a moment, his heart aching.
Charles didn't need him as badly as he needed Charles. Charles had a family unit. Not a pack; drivers were away too often to form packs, even with their families. But his mother and brothers still welcomed him home with opened arms.
Something Max didn't have.
He laid down and pulled the sheets up to his nose. Charles. But the scent wouldn't last for the entire weekend, he knew. He sucked in another deep breath, letting the scent wash over him. It was calming, the closest thing to a bond he had. But it wasn't a bond, was it? It was a fleeting moment of closeness.
There was a reason Max was the best of the best. He had no pack, and no family to return to. High adrenaline, high aggression. That was how he had several championships under his belt.
For a time, that was all he wanted. He had Charles in his bed and was winning almost every week. He didn't need anything else.
Maybe it was something that came with age, that want for a pack. Other drivers had started families, an attempt at a pack, but there was a reason they weren't performing as well as Max was.
***
You were the only one wearing a muzzle in the paddock. Muzzles weren't common now, neither was the shock collar you were wearing. It didn't stop you from growling whenever anybody got too close.
The other drivers kept their distance. You couldn't take part in any of the social media activities that Prema did, even when you were a part of Prema. Not without putting your fellow drivers at risk.
Your future had been decided for you. If it was up to you, you wouldn't have been here, ready to climb into your Rodin Motorsport car and win.
But you never had much of a choice. The money had been left at the home for you, with one request. ‘Get her into Motorsport.’
Even when you left the home, the money had still been sent to you, to the woman who called herself ‘your handler’. She's the one who took care of you, who made sure you didn't neglect yourself.
But that was bound to happen when you're half feral.
Your hands were restrained behind your back as your muzzle and collar were removed. They pulled your balaclava over your head, narrowly avoiding you biting down on their fingers.
They pushed the helmet onto your head. Your hands were released and you were pushed towards the car.
Here was the thing, you were a good racer. You took every risk, normally coming out unscathed. On the occasion that somebody else was the cause of your crash, there was no holding you back.
As good a raver as you were, it wasn't what you wanted to be doing. As a child, you had dreams, dreams you couldn't remember. The typical dreams of a kid, not this.
You had qualified fifth, giving you room to show what you could do. God help the other drivers if they got in your way.
You weren't concentrating as you slipped into your grid spot. Your growls from beneath your helmet couldn't be heard as you waited for the lights to go green.
There were a couple of close calls on the race, a driver not realising who they were getting close to. But they avoided you, keeping you both on the track and keeping themselves safe from you.
It wasn't a win, but it was a podium. Your chest was heaving as you stood up there with Paul Aron and Gabriel Bortoleto. The muzzle was back over your face and the shock collar around your neck.
***
Not every driver was a werewolf, just most. It was one of the few sports where being a werewolf didn't provide an advantage.
Carlos Sainz was one of the few drivers that wasn't a werewolf. He was perfectly content driving alongside the supernatural. His teammate was a werewolf, and that was fine by him.
But then Carlos broke his leg.
He fell off his bike, a bad enough fall to break his leg. His spirits were up as he laid in hospital, optimistic he could make it back before summer break ends.
He wasn't the only optimistic one.
The thing was that most people didn't realise Carlos was only human. He looked too pretty to just be a simple human.
“It'll heal quick, right?” One member of the team asked. She was new, she didn't realise that he was human.
Charles gave her a sympathetic smile. “He's going to be out of action for a little while,” he said and patted her shoulder. Her face was bright red and Charles turned away from her, giving her a break from his attention.
“Who is going to replace him?” He asked. It was probably Ollie, a young driver, a sweet little pup in most of their eyes. He was talented, deserved to be on the grid with them in a year's time.
Fred sucked in a breath and looked around the garage. Okay, not Ollie, Charles concluded. If it was Ollie, Fred wouldn't look so terrified. Sweat wouldn't be beading on his forehead like this if Ollie was driving in Carlos's place.
“We're calling on The Beast.”

Summary: MC loses everyone in a crowd. To find the others quickly, they yell, "MC is a good for nothing human!" and wait to see what happens. OM! Cast x Reader Word Count: 851
You were apprehensive about going to this event in the first place.
You had just gotten back to the Devildom after being away for some time and you were still readjusting to the way things were down there.
But, your friends had all insisted on taking you to an event that occurred in the streets of the Devildom.
There were going to be tons of food trucks, vendors, shows and so much more.
They promised you that you would have a ton of fun ~ so who were you to refuse to go?
It was only after you got to the event that you began to regret your decision to go.
You had all shown up in a large group, but it seemed that everyone had their own things that they wanted you to experience.
All fifteen of your friends almost immediately went their own way, wanting to get something from a specific vendor to bring back to you or wanting to get you tickets to a show.
They were in competition mode and whenever that happened, you knew that it was hard to get them back on track.
There were tons of people surrounding you; and, despite your best efforts, you couldn’t see a single one of your friends.
You were a bit frustrated at this point, mostly because you had only agreed to go for them.
And, now you were standing in the middle of a crowd of demons, by yourself, unsure where to go or what to do.
You wanted to call someone on your D.D.D. but with how busy it was around you, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to hear anyone even if they did pick up the phone.
You thought about using your pact to summon one of the brothers; but, you didn’t think you were at the stage where that was exactly necessary.
Especially since summoning could cause the brothers pain if it isn’t done properly and it had been a while since you tried to do it.
Unsure of what else to do, you decided to be a little mischievous and test your bond with the others a bit.
You took a deep breath before shouting into the crowd, “Y/N is a good-for-nothing human!”
You paused for a moment, looking around once again, but when you still couldn’t find anyone, you let out a small sigh.
I guess that didn’t work…
“Alright, who said that?!” Mammon shouted, suddenly barreling through people to reach you.
“Oh, there you are!” you said, relieved at the sight of a familiar face and completely forgetting about your little joke.
But, there were fifteen people suddenly rushing to your side who did not forget about what was said.
They each came to you, one by one, hot and heavy and ready to throw punches.
You listened as they each began to throw insults toward this imaginary person as they searched the crowd for who could possibly be the culprit.
You tried to interject a few times, wanting to tell them the truth, but every time you opened your mouth, you were interrupted by another angry person.
“Y/N, did you see who said those words about you so we could find them?” Diavolo asked you, concern in his eyes as everyone turned their attention to you.
You were holding back a laugh as your cheeks dusted pink from all of the attention.
“Sure ~ it was me,” you admitted and their faces turned from ones of anger to confusion.
“Why would you say that stuff about yourself?” Beel asked as innocently as ever.
“Geez, Levi, you’re rubbin’ off on ‘em,” Mammon pouted, causing Levi to look extremely guilty.
“Relax, everyone,” you replied, stifling another laugh.
“I lost you in the crowd and I thought it would catch your attention enough that you would come find me. Looks like I was right,” you explained.
“Well that was risky,” Belphie stated. “Satan nearly lost his mind,” Solomon agreed quietly.
You couldn’t help but notice how adorable they all looked, pouting at the prank you managed to pull off.
“I’m sorry, really. But, I thought the purpose of bringing me to this event was so that I could experience everything with all of you. Not for me to stand alone in the crowd,” you added.
You could feel the tension in the air shift as they realized that they had left you alone and understood where you were coming from.
They completely abandoned you in the middle of this large event. No wonder you pulled that stunt.
They promised not to leave you alone again and they each took you to their favorite parts of the event, making sure that at least one person was with you at all times.
They made you promise that you would never try something like that again.
You had fifteen people who were ready to fight for you at the drop of a dime, and saying something like that, even if you were joking, would always set them off.
Because they cared about you far too much to let something like that slide.

Pocky Game
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: How would they react if you asked them to play Pocky with you? Do they already know the game? What is it like to play with them? And how would a game with them end? 💋
CHARACTERS: Demon Brothers +  Dateables (- Luke) = Lucifer; Mammon; Leviathan; Satan; Asmodeus; Beelzebub; Belphegor; Diavolo; Barbatos; Simeon; Solomon.
TAGS: Fluff; GN Reader; Bullet Points; Kissing; Suggestive?
WORD COUNT: An average of 240 words per character.
COMMENTS: I've already given up questioning the lore of this game, trying to find canon in the stories of the cards and events. I'm just going to write what I want and if there's something similar in a card or something, I don't know anything anymore. 😅😭
I hope you enjoy ❤️
Tumblr media
CONTEXT: The Pocky game is a party game played with Pocky, a Japanese chocolate- or candy-coated biscuit snack. Two participants place the Pocky between them “Lady and the Tramp” style, and try to be the last to hold onto the biscuit, often resulting in a kiss.
How to play:
Pick a partner that you wouldn't mind kissing.
Face your partner and put a Pocky stick between you. Each partner takes an end of the Pocky stick in their mouth.
Each partner bites their end of the Pocky stick until their mouths meet in the middle. The first person to pull away loses!
To ensure that the others don’t interrupt or prevent you from playing, you go to his room.
Tumblr media
Lucifer doesn't know what game this is. He doesn't usually have much interest in being up to date on these matters. That is more a Levi or Asmo thing.
“If you want a kiss, you can just ask for it, you know?” He tells you with a seductive smile after you've explained the game. But you insist that you want to play. He sighs amused. “Fine, if you want it that much.”
He comes closer to you and gently holds your hand with which you hold the box. Without taking his eyes off yours, he opens the box, leans over to bite into one of the biscuit sticks, takes it out with his mouth and points the other side at you. Before you bite the other side and start the game, he also places his index finger and thumb on your chin to tilt your head.
He plays with that seductively piercing gaze of his fixed on your eyes. As intimidating as it is inviting.
When there is only one bite left to finish the game, he grabs you by the waist and pulls you in, taking the last bite and kissing you passionately.
He breaks the kiss but doesn't take his face away from yours, speaking with his lips still very close to yours. “Well, I played your game. Will you play mine now?” He lifts you up and carries you to his bed.
Tumblr media
Mammon knows what game this is. Some Succubus and Incubus have already tried to convince him to play with them. “Hey, I said they tried! Of course I didn't play. Who do you think I am?” So... would he accept to play with you?
“W-with you?” He blushes. “Well, s-sure. You're the only person I wouldn't mind playin’ with.” That he wouldn't mind? “FINE, that I would like to play with. Happy now?”
Yes! You take a biscuit stick out of the box, put it in your mouth and point the other side at him so he can bite it. He does so, blushing. He ends up letting go and relaxing as the two of you take your bites.
When the last bite comes and it's his turn, he ends the game and kisses you. It starts out relaxed, but within seconds it becomes needy. To the point that he cups your face and gets so close to you that you almost feel the need to take a step back so he doesn't completely eliminate the empty space between you.
He doesn't want to, but he breaks the kiss. “I hope you only wanted to play once, ‘cause now I just want to enjoy my prize.” He kisses you again, picks you up and takes you to his bed.
Tumblr media
OF COURSE LEVI KNOWS THIS GAME! What kind of fake Otaku do you think he is? He even started rambling about the times he had read in mangas or seen in animes scenes like that and wanted to experience it and know what it was like.
He even goes so far as to comment on a character in a game that he loves doing this to him (the player) and... he sees you start to get upset with him. “NO, NO, NO! It's nothing like that! I swear! I mean, I like the character and I wanted to know what her route was like, b-b-but I was wondering the whole time...” He already had a small blush on his cheeks, but it got even bigger. “...ho-how it would b-b-be with y-you.” He also does that thing where he puts the tips of his two index fingers together.
Well, lucky for him, you also want to know what it's like to play with him and you have a box for that. His blush deepens, practically spreading across his entire face. BUT HE IS SO HAPPY!!! You also want to know what it's like to play this with the person you love? AND IT IS HIM? You'll need to find a way to calm him down so you can play.
You are the one who puts the biscuit stick in your mouth and points the other side at him for him to bite. He will be nervous the whole time you are playing. And when the last bite comes and it's his turn, he can't take it, he stops, perhaps in a mental struggle whether he should kiss you or let you decide. You're the one who ends up deciding to end the game and kiss him.
And now, with this confirmation from you, he can no longer contain himself and wrap his arms around you. And even after you break the kiss he will want to continue snuggling with you.
Tumblr media
Yes, Satan knows the game, or at least the description of it from some books. “You want to play it with me?” He smiles. “Of course, I would love to! I would also like to know what it is like.”
He lets you set up the game. You put the biscuit stick in your mouth and let him bite the other side. Although he's blushing a little, he maintains his composure while playing with you, while looking into your eyes with affection.
When there is only one bite left to finish, even if it is his turn, he stops. You can tell by the look in his eyes that he wants you to be the one to choose how you want to end the game. And you finish the biscuit stick by kissing him.
You feel his lips form a smile, his arms wrap around you and surprise you when he pulls you in a way that you lose your balance and lie down supported by his arms.
He breaks the kiss gently and looks at you to see your reaction. He smiles, happy that he surprised you so positively. He rests his forehead against yours. “I can see why people like to write about this game. Would you like to play it again?”
Tumblr media
But OF COURSE Asmo knows this game! He tells you he's even played it before, and then regrets it a little when he sees your reaction. “Oh no hon, it was just a few quick kisses, just a little touch. Don't be sad, you know that my special kisses are aaall for you~. You still want to play with me right?” He makes puppy eyes.
“Yaaaay~” He gets so happy and excited when you say yes. He's so cute he looks like a kid in a candy or a toy store.
You put the biscuit stick in your mouth and he wastes no time in biting the other side. He plays the entire time with that cute smile and his eyes shining as he looks into yours. But in the last few bites, that look begins to change and become more seductive.
When there is only one bite left to finish and it’s his turn, he stops. His inviting gaze tells you he wants you to be the one to end the game and give him your love.
You do so and, as if that had been a way for you to give him permission to show his love for you, he hugs you passionately and deepens the kiss.
You're going to have to be the one to break the kiss because if it were up to him you'd stay like that for hours. “Oh, do you want to take a break? Do you want to play again? Sure! I can play with you until the box is empty. And then we can continue the kisses without the sweets right~?”
Tumblr media
You hesitate to ask Beel about the game. I mean, it's a game that involves food... and it's Beel. But he realizes that there is something you want to tell him, so you end up giving in and telling him about the game.
He thinks he heard about the game from Levi, but the only thing he remembers is that there were biscuit sticks involved. You say you would like to play it with him, emphasis on the play.
“Don't worry, I understand what you mean. I know I'm at risk of being tempted to just eat the biscuits, but if you want to play I'll do my best to restrain myself.” He smiles warmly. “Even though biscuits may be tasty, I like making you happy more.”
You are the one who puts the biscuit stick in your mouth (because if it were Beel he would simply eat it whole) and point the other side at him so he can bite. He rubs the back of one hand with the other, nervous because he's afraid he'll end up eating the whole biscuit and ruining the game. But he takes his first bite anyway.
His first two bites go well, but on the third he gives in to the temptation of chocolate and ends up taking a bite that almost ends the game. You are both surprised and he looks away sadly. But you can still take one last bite.
You take the last bite, ending the game and kissing him. You try to convey through your kiss that everything is okay and you forgave him. You realize you've made it successfully when you feel him smile, hug you and deepen the kiss.
“Hey, I liked the game, but can we separate food and kisses for now?” He says when you break the kiss. “I was really scared that I might accidentally bite you.”

Belphie recognizes the name of the game because he's heard Levi or another brother talk about it. But could you explain the rules again? It's a game that doesn't require effort and that brings you both closer together, so: “Okay, sounds fun. Who starts?”
You were going to put the biscuit stick in your mouth, but then you decided to hand it to Belphie for him to bite first, as if you were feeding him. You know he loves it when you spoil him. You bite the other side and the game begins.
He is very chill when playing and have a sweet smile on his face. There is no tension during the game, just a warm and comfy feeling.
When there is only one bite left to finish the game, it is his turn and he ends the game by kissing you softly. You stay like that for a while until the kiss is broken gently.
You keep playing until either one of you gets bored or the box is empty. After that, he will convince you to lie down on the bed and cuddle. “It's a fun game. We should play it again sometime.”
Tumblr media
Diavolo doesn't know the game, but he's super excited to learn everything about it and play with you. He listens attentively and with a smile to your explanation. “Ha ha ha. Looks like a simple but fun game. I will play with you with pleasure.”
You put the biscuit stick in your mouth and point the other side at him so he can bite it. He does so with an amused smile. The game goes smoothly and without tension, just with a warm and comfy feeling.
When there is only one bite left to finish the game and it is his turn, he stops and looks you in the eyes. You giggle and he understands this as the confirmation he was looking for. He ends the game and kisses you sweetly.
He hugs you and pulls you gently against him. He deepens the kiss before breaking it with a big warm smile. “What a lovely game.” He caresses your cheek. “Thank you for showing it to me. Do you mind if we play it again? I really enjoyed playing it. And I enjoyed doing it with you even more. Your sweet kisses are the best thing I've ever tasted.”
Tumblr media
Barbatos doesn't know this game, but he will be happy to learn how to play it if you don’t mind teach him. He listens attentively to your explanation and the more you talk the sweeter his smile becomes.
“I see, the rules seem simple. It will be a pleasure to fulfil such a request coming from you. Do you want to start the game or would you like me to do the honours?”
You let him start the game and hand him the box. He takes out one of the biscuit stick, puts it in his mouth elegantly, and leans forward slightly, as if bowing, so that the other side of the biscuit is level with your lips.
You bite the other side and the game begins. As expected, he is a perfect gentleman throughout the game. When there is only one bite left to end the game, even if it’s his turn, he will stop so that you can decide how you want the game to end.
You finish the biscuit stick and kiss him. His kiss is gentle and loving. You feel his gloved fingers on your chin, caressing your face until they reach your cheek, the feeling of a soft, well-cared-for fabric.
If you take too long to break the kiss, he will politely break it. He chuckles. “It will be my pleasure to provide you with all the care and love you desire. But shouldn't we distribute this feeling out across the game rounds for it to be more fun?” He brings his index finger to his chin. “Unless one round was enough for you.”
Tumblr media
Simeon doesn't know the game, but he will be happy to learn how to play and do it with you. He smiles sweetly the whole time you are explaining the rules. “Ha ha. Sounds like a fun game. I would love to play with you. How do we start?”
You put one of the biscuit stick in your mouth and point the other side at him so he can bite it. He does so with a cute smile. The game goes smoothly and without tension, just with a warm and comfy feeling.
When there is only one bite left to finish the game and it is his turn, he eats it, kissing you. It's a kiss that starts off sweet but becomes more intense, with him cupping your face and deepening the kiss. You can feel the smile on his lips.
He breaks the kiss slowly. “Hum... This was the goal, right?” He asks slightly embarrassed. “Did I overdo it? I’m sorry if I did.” You say he didn’t, that everything is fine and that you even liked it. “Oh, really? I’m glad. I got excited when I when I felt your lips. But don't hesitate to let me know if I do, okay?”
Tumblr media
Of course Solomon knows this game. From Asmo? Thirteen? Someone else? You will never know. “Ha ha ha. I don't remember who told me first, but I've known it for some time. Don't worry about it. I'm looking forward to playing with you. Can I start?”
You tell him he can and hand him the box. He takes out one of the biscuit sticks, puts it in his mouth, places his index finger on your chin to tilt your head and places the other end of the biscuit at the same level as your lips. When you bite it, he smiles.
Even though his face doesn't have a very different smile than usual, there's a certain mischievous tension throughout the game. The closer your faces get, the more this feeling grows.
When there's only one bite left, even though it's his turn, he stops, and looks into your eyes waiting to see what you're going to do. You finish the biscuit and the game, kissing him. You can feel his smug smile. He wastes no time in grabbing you by the waist to press you against him to deepen the kiss.
You'll have to be the one to break the kiss if you want to continue playing, otherwise he'll simply lead you to his bed.

i posted all my thoughts chapter by chapter over on @joelsdaggersarchive but i just have to reblog on main because this was so gorgeous, so sweet, and so so soft. and selfishly i need it for safekeeping on my main.
the emotional rollercoaster i went on while reading this was…. it was A LOT mainly because it hit home but my goodness vee you are so fucking talented it amazes me. you always amaze me but this was just so gorgeous. how you write emotion is so special to me and so real, i felt everything she was feeling to the bone. emotion isn’t easy to convey in writing but you did it so effortlessly, it’s breathtaking. the smut was….holy fuck. not even just the smut….the foreplay and everything leading up to it, (the religious imagery!!!!!!!!! my fucking god it took my breath away i am in awe, my love) the dirty talk, how joel is so soft with her and they want each other so badly but he makes her wait even though it physically pains him to hold off ugh it’s SO PERFECT. i loved her relationship with her sisters. by their own unique personalities i could tell you took the time and care to make them whole, into their own standalone characters that added more heart to the story. i already said this but the ending was perfect for joel and little dove, i love that she gained control of her situation and went to have a proper and much needed (although hard) discussion with her father (which coming from experience, i can imagine was not fucking easy and is so emotionally frustrating and taxing). and i love that joel supported her the whole way. it took me so long to get to this but i’m so glad i waited til i could properly appreciate this ART. every line is tucked away into the cold, tiny chambers of my too small, withering heart. i love them and i love you my beloved. thank you for this and thank you for constantly blessing us with your glorious writing. it’s such a pleasure to get to experience this and i’m excited to see and read what you do next!

closer || lia walti x reader ||
Tumblr media
After a long week, Lia offers you something different for comfort.
18+
"Lia, I'm home!" you called out as stepped inside of your home. The past week had been pretty rough for you, but today seemed to drag on and on. You weren't sure what it was in particular that was causing you so much grief, but you felt absolutely wrecked. All you had been wanting all day was Lia. You craved being close to her, and you could only hope that she was in the mood to be around you.
At the silence, you started to fear that maybe Lia didn't want to spend time with you. She had been pretty busy all week, and you knew that it was hard for her not to have time to herself. This was the first day that she had off where you had been forced into the office, but that didn't mean that she would want you rushing into her arms at the end of it. With your luck, it was more likely that Lia just wanted the peace and quiet that you had trouble keeping.
"Lia?" you called out as you started to walk around the house. You sighed in relief when you saw her outside. The little garden that she had been keeping was just barely holding on with the change in weather. It was admirable how Lia refused to give up on it until every single plant was actually gone for the season. There were only a couple of flowers left, but she tended to them with great care.
"Shit!" Lia swore as she glanced up to see you standing at the sliding glass door. The shock of seeing you only lasted for a couple of seconds before it was replaced by joy. It shouldn't have surprised you that Lia was glad that you were home, but it did anyway. You knew that Lia loved you dearly, but if she had told you that in the moment, you would have burst into tears. "When did you get back?"
"Just now," you answered. Lia quickly got up from her little garden to walk over and kiss you. She didn't touch you with her hands, only leaning in to give you a couple of quick pecks on the lips.
"Give me a minute to clean up, and then I'll be in the living room," Lia told you.
"Wait, don't go. I need you." You were a bit embarrassed to sound so whiny, but Lia didn't seem to mind. She seemed to have a idea that your week had been rough, and today seemed to be the day to really break you.
"It's okay, I'll be right back. Just go wait on the couch for me," Lia told you. As much as you wanted to follow her around just to stay in her presence, you went to the couch like she asked instead. Lia was quick about cleaning up and coming back to you. You had expected her to just cuddle up next to you, not come back holding your favorite strap-on in her hand.
"What is that for?" You let Lia pull you onto your feet. She dropped onto her knees in front of you, hands resting on the waistband of your jeans. "Lia?"
"You said that you needed me, and I know that look in your eyes. It's been a rough week, so I want you to just sit back for a bit. We haven't had much time together, and I think I know a good way to reconcile that a little," Lia said. You really liked the sound of that, and it was your complete trust in Lia that led you to agreeing.
Lia got you out of your pants while you pulled your shirt off. She helped you into the harness, pressing kisses to your hips as she did so. You helped Lia up from her knees before being guided to sit back on the couch. Lia slowly stripped herself down to nothing before she straddled your lap.
"Don't do anything, okay? Just sit back and close your eyes," Lia told you. You leaned up to give her a couple of slow kisses before you did exactly what she said. You could feel her grind against your thigh a little, becoming wetter with each swipe of her hips.
Lia's hips lifted a little, and you whined at the sudden loss of contact. Lia grabbed your jaw with one hand, positioning your face to look down as her other hand made its way between her legs. You didn't bother having any sort of shame as you watched Lia touch herself in front of you. All of this was for you after all, so you reasoned that you were free to watch her all that you wanted.
"Do you want to taste?" Lia asked you. You nodded, opening your mouth just enough for her to push her fingers past your lips. You sucked the arousal off of her fingers as she lowered herself onto your strap. Your eyes darted down to watch as Lia settled down onto your lap. "I'm just gonna stay right here for a little while, okay?"
"That's fine," you mumbled. Lia placed her hands on your head, scratching lightly at your scalp. You wanted nothing more than to just enjoy the feeling of Lia being on top of you like this, but as she continued the movements of her fingers, you felt your eyelids begin to grow a little heavier.
"Shh, it's okay. Just relax and let it happen," Lia cooed as you started to try and fight off your exhaustion. Everything that had been happening over the course of the week seemed to be catching up with you. You felt your head start to tilt back a little, and Lia leaned forward just enough to press her body against yours. It barely took any time after that for you to fully just fall asleep, and once Lia noticed that you were out, she climbed off of you and brought a blanket over to cover your body with.

Cupid's heart spread - A dive into your connection with this person
To celebrate the milestone of reaching over 1000 followers on Tumblr, I give to you a reading about the connection you share with the person on your mind using my cupid's heart spread. Now, as this is a collective reading, the energies described may not entirely resonate with you. Since I've been watching Alchemy of Souls lately, I thought this would make an appropriate theme for this reading. So to pick your group, choose one of the following characters from the drama.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Group 1
You overall energy is the 8 of wands. This shows that there is a lot of passion and attraction within the connection and a desire to communicate with one another on a daily basis. You may also both be wanting to close the distance between you, especially if you are in a long distance relationship. Both parties are focused on the other person, which is a good omen for now. This may also translate a form of impatience and wanting to accelerate the process of getting to know each other.
Your energy in the connection | 3 of cups
You are feeling pretty chill about this person. I feel like you are not excessively attached to them but you feel drawn to them on an emotional level and this person's presence in your life makes you happy. You may be considering them as a friend first and foremost, which could explain why you come off as pretty laid back in this situation. Another thing I am picking up on is that this person may not be your only love prospect. Thus, you may not be as worried about the future of this connection as the other person. Your energy feels pretty open, receptive and cheerful. You take things at your own pace and wait to see what this person has in store for you. You may not be excessively active in the connection but you don't close the door either. I feel like in this connection, the other person is more likely to reach out to you first, which you don't disapprove of. But you may not necessarily reach out to this person as often, as you may be interacting with other people, whether on a friendly or a romantic level.
Their energy in the connection | 9 of pentacles
This person also appears as pretty detached from the connection. They are also in a receptive, open energy. But while you are focused on other connections, they are mainly focused on themselves, their well being and their finances. This person's job could be taking a lot of their time, thus they may not be thinking about you as much as they would if they were inoccupied. I feel like this person values themselves a lot and is mature enough not to chase after others. They give you the space to come in if you wish but they will not cry over your absence. Their approach to this connection is very practical and grounded. They come into this connection with an energy of peace and self assuredness, compared to your cheerful and laidback vibe. This is a person that may be currently single and ready to mingle. However, they will not just interact with anybody.
Their fears | King of pentacles
Within this connection, this person fears that if they were to be with you and invest further in this connection, they may lose their independance, freedom and stability. They may fear losing their wealth as well or reputation. This person could come from a wealthy background or an influent family. They could also be very succesful and feel like their romantic endeavours should not take over their life and come before their accomplishments. I feel like this person worked really hard to get where they are and they intend on becoming better and pursuing important goals in their life. They may be afraid that being intimate with someone could hinder their potential, their career and maybe even result in them losing their status or authority. That could be true if you come from very different social backgrounds or cultures. If this person holds an important position in society, they may be afraid that they have to step down from that position to be able to be with you. And that may not be something they are willing to do at the moment.
Their hopes | 4 of wands
At the end of the day, all this person hopes for within this connection is a solid, long lasting and fair relationship that withstands the test of time and trials you may be facing. They look for an equal and a partner that they can build a home with, a legacy that will ensure the future of their children if they have any. They want to leave a mark on this world and share their succes and wealth with their lover. This person not only sees the current potential of your connection but they also project themselves in the future and their future has you in it. They envision a life with you that they can be proud of. This isn't someone that just wants to hit it and then quit it. If they were to take this to the next level, this person wants it to last until their very last breath. I definitely see this person wanting commitment with you, wanting to move in with you, building a family of their own, maybe even working with you on some projects.
Their feelings | 9 of wands clarified by the 10 of wands
This person feels very protective over you. You bring out the fighter in them. They want to fight for this connection, even if it is difficult and asks of them to sacrifice a lot of things. This is a person that is resilient and not willing to give you up that easily. This person will not back down from this connection unless they have tried everything in their power to make it work. Their feelings are so passionate and strong that this person may even be surprised at their own reactions. This is no quitter. I feel like this person is adamant on having you by their side. They may be feeling possessive and jealous to some extent. I believe this person would fight anyone trying to take you away from them, including their own family. They also feel a sense of responsibility toward you. Like they have to stand up for you and be by your side at all costs. This person may feel like they owe you. You could have helped this person at a time of their life where they were very busy and exhausted, where they felt like they were struggling. Hence the protectiveness and passion they have for you now.
Their actions | King of wands
In the near future, this person intends to woe you. Their seduction game will be strong and very clear. You will not be able to mistake this person's intentions as they come off as the king. If you were in a no communication situation with this person, expect sudden communication from them. This communication will be flirty with no doubt. They may compliment you a lot, make subtle references that only you can get, send inuendos. They could be sending you naughty pictures or at least pictures of them that enhance their most attractive traits and put them under a flattering light. So for instance, if this person works out a lot and knows that you enjoy seeing their body at work, they may be posting more pictures of their workout sessions. If they are communicating with you through the phone or video calls, you may notice them smirking, raising their eyebrows, touching their hair and lips a lot. Their tone may be suave and erotic. They may be talking about more mature content around you, which could be a huge contrast to what this person usually talks about with you. Their will be a sudden change in their attitude that will immediately give away their attraction for you. Remember, this person was first coming in as the 9 of pentacles. They were mainly focused on their work and themselves. And now they come up as the King of wands, which is a much more direct and sociable energy. They will be all about you basically and all up in your space.
What they love about you | King of swords
This person loves your communicative skills, your mind and analytical skills, your bratty and assertive attitude. They love that you know how to set your boundaries and ensure that people respect them. They love your maturity, your wit, your knowledge. You may be a bookworm or a history nerd. You may also be very good with technology. Another thing I'm picking up on is how observant you can be. This person loves your eyes and your voice. If you like singing, they could like that about you as well. You come off as very strong and demanding, maybe a bit harsh. Apparently they enjoy your bossy attitude with them and how clear you are about your needs and expectations. They love your sarcastic attitude. How bold you are and unafraid of consequences. Some of you may have simply thrown this person off verbally. Like you could have downright made fun of them or insulted them. You can definitely talk back and keep people in check which they may not be used to. I feel like for some of you, your person is used to people obeying their every command and tending to their needs. However, that doesn't work with you. You challenge them and their views, which keeps them on their toes.
What they wish to say | 3 of swords clarified by the 6 of cups
This person wants to tell you that it's okay not to be okay. That they wish you would trust them a little more and let them in. I feel like many of you have been badly hurt in previous relationships, thus it is now hard for you to fully open up to this person and be at ease with them. They also want to tell you that they are here for you, should you ever feel sad or in pain. They want to tell you that they are hurt too. That they understand you and your fears. That they need time to heal. And you do as well. If you are in a separation with this person, they want to tell you that being away from you is taking a toll on them. That it breaks their heart that they cannot have you now. That though the past may have shown you that people could not be trusted, not everyone is the same and the past is not bound to be repeated. That they can help you and support you, protect you from harm and protect your heart from further damage. That you should not fear them because they are your soulmate and their purpose is to love and heal you, not bring you down.
Group 2
Your overall energy is the Death card. There could have been a major fallout or change within the connection in the past. As this card represents Scorpio, you or this person could have major Scorpio placements in your chart. Either this connection has come to an end or both of you are ending a cycle in your respective lives. This could be a very challenging time for both of you. I don't think you and this person are in contact right now. If that is not your case, then this may be indicating a period of separation that is coming.
Your energy | The World
This energy feels very fixed and abundant. Also very grounded and balanced. It's like your whole presence is telling this person "whatever you do, wherever you are, I am not moving". You are standing your ground when it comes to this connection. You know your worth, you know what you bring to the table. You know that this person matters to you and that this connection has a lot of potential. You know what your feelings are and what you need from this connection and you are doing everything you need, everything in your power to make this work. Whether it be taking your distances or showing this person that you care, you do it all. You radiate love, you embody love, you are embodying your divine self and accepting yourself and this person as you are, as well as the connection. There is a lot of faith coming from you regarding this connection. You have reached your full potential and are doing your part, as far as you are concerned. You may currently be traveling or intend to travel for the purpose of this connection. As of now, you may be at a distance from your person.
Their energy | Page of pentacles
Your person is focused on their learning and career. Their energy towards the connection is much more practical and realistic but also less mature, I feel. This person may be more influenced by their fears than you are. It could also be that they lack experience in relationships and may not know how to proceed with this connection. They are in a dynamic of getting to know you better and learning how to match your expectations so that they can step up to the plate and be on your level. The page here is facing straight ahead. He is coming at the querent with a peaceful and calm attitude, as if he were trying to reach a common ground and offer peace. Maybe this person has come to the realisation that they have things to apologize for and that if they wish for this connection to progress further, they need to come towards you and make you a tangible offer. The page's heart is open however their gaze is hidden. That may be a sign that this person is shy around you and though they are wanting to come towards you, they may be fearful of your reaction and perception of them. They are being careful when it comes to you and taking their time in assessing the situation.
Their fears | Queen of wands
This person may be fearing intimacy and passion. They may be feeling like this connection is moving too fast. I also feel like they may be scared that your intentions are purely physical and that you have no interest in them on an emotional level what so ever. They may be afraid of being used for their looks or status instead of being loved for who they are. They may be afraid that this connection quickly dies out and that is something that they do not wish for. They may also dread your judgement regarding their body and appeal. They may fear rejection when it comes to their body and sensuality. They could fear that you are not satisfied with them, that you do not feel attracted to them despite their looks. They may fear that you do not deem that they are worthy of your attention and energy.
Their hopes | 6 of swords clarified by the King of pentacles
This person first hopes for clarity. They also hope for freedom and peace. They want to be able to move forward, whether it is with or without you. They want to reach a solid ground where they can finally settle and see where they are going. I feel like this person feels lost and overwhelmed within this connection. They do not know where they stand with you and where you stand with them. They hope for security and a solid ground to build on. They hope that this connection will lead to something stable and tangible, long lasting, traditional. They don't want this connection to be a one night stand. At the end of the day, they hope for a deep and fruitful connection based on trust and communication, on reciprocity and clarity. A connection that makes them feel like all their worries and responsibilities aren't that important and cannot bother them. They hope to escape their reality that may be boring or tiring through this connection. They hope for relief.
Their feelings | 5 of swords clarified by page of swords
This person feels confused is the first thing that comes to mind. They feel like they constantly have to fight in order to figure out what your thoughts are, what your needs are. They feel like they constantly have to fight for your attention and that you do not trust them. They feel drained, tired, scared. They feel upset and in the need of clear communication on your behalf as to what you want from them, what you hope for within the connection, what your intentions are on a long term. They feel like they don't know you enough to be able to make an informed decision. They feel like they lack information or that you are blocking them from progressing towards you. They feel frustrated because you can't seem to find a way to get to you or to communicate with you properly. They may be angry at you for something you did or said, or what you didn't do or say. They feel left out and rejected.
Their actions | White Numen
I feel like this person intends to charge forward and get the truth out of your mouth whether you like it or not. This person will not back down until they know what is going on. If you were in a conflict or in a separation, they want to come towards you and start over again. The White Numen is an energy of co creation. They want to build something with you and create with you. So this person intends to give the connection one more chance, even though they don't know where this could lead. They are done waiting and hoping for things to magically resolve on their own, or for you to make the first step because it doesn't feel like you'll be doing so anytime soon. This person is preparing for battle. There's a bull depicted on the card so Taurus season could be significant. There's also a part of the moon cycle being depicted and the first quarter is being highlighted. The next first quarter of the moon is happening in early November (around the 9th). That could also be significant.
What they love about you | Empress
This person loves your femininity and sensuality. They love your nurturing and creative nature. They also love your dedication and patience, your stubbornness and ambition. You are someone that does not give up nor do you back down from a challenge. You take your time and do things your way, no matter if it has to take decades. No matter if people laugh at you. You always remain true to yourself. You are fair, grounded, mature, generous, kind. You do not look down on people but you do not lower yourself either. You stand tall and proud, perfectly embracing your essence and standing in your power. You embody the divine feminine and you can pride yourself on being one hell of a badass. This person loves this about you. They love how confident you can be without having to bring others down. How natural you are and how everything feels so effortless to you. How abundant you are. They love your body, your aesthetic, your tastes in general especially when it comes to your looks. They love your curves. They view you as a goddess. They may feel like you are a taste of Heaven. They admire your strength and grace.
What they wish to say | Knight of cups clarified by Strength
They wish to say that they love you dearly. That they genuinely care about you and wish to be with you. That their feelings are real and honorable. That they hope you can see the good in them and the value in what they bring to the table. They want to tell you that they wish to be your knight in shining armor. That they would do anything for you if you let them. They want to tell you that they feel a fondness for you they cannot explain. That they are willing to step up to the plate and up their game because you are worth it. That they want to romance you and ask you out on a date. That you make them feel invicible and they could conquer the world for you if you asked them. That they only live for your love and attention. And should you let them in, they would make sure that you would never have to regret it.
Group 3
Your overall energy is the 9 of pentacles. I feel like there is a disconnet within this connection and both of you are in a no contact situation. This feels quite recent. Both of you may currently be focused on your respective careers / studies / finances. You may also both be in an energy of wanting to prioritize yourself over the connection because you feel like this isn't going anywhere.
Your energy | 5 of pentacles
You may be missing this person a lot at the moment and feel left out in the cold by them. You may feel like the situation you are in is unfair and detrimental to your security and well being. You feel insecure about the future of this connection and like you are the loser in the situation. You may feel like this person has robbed you of your energy, joy, abundance, heart. You may regret the time spent with this person or the decision that were made. You may be feeling unsupported, ignored, misunderstood. Like your expectations and needs were not met. You feel abandoned by this person and like you can never get back to where you were or what you had. You feel hurt and possibly scared. Used and abused.
Their energy | The Lovers
This person may be at a crossroads. They are face with a choice that they don't know how to deal with. They may already be considering another person as their partner. Or they are downright in a new relationship already. The Lovers also is associated with Gemini. Gemini represents communication. This person may be in an energy of wanting to express to you the reasons of their actions and choices. They may be wanting to reach out to you in order to offer you a dilemma. It could also show that they are indecisive about you. They may be in a status quo state where they are not sure whether they want to keep this connection going or end it all together. Thus they may be playing hot and cold with you, alternating between periods of communication and times of silence. They may also be unpredictable around you and confusing. They feel like they are all over the place and their communication doesn't make sense. They may not even understand themselves right now.
Their fears | 7 of pentacles
This person may be fearful of commitment and intimacy. They are also afraid of the time, effort and dedication it would take for this relationship to prosper. This person may fear that they do not have the patience and strength required to make the relationship work. They also are afraid that all their efforts and patience would be in vain. It's like this person is saying "let's say I give you a chance, what guarantees me that this will work out and last?" ,"what guarantees do I have that you will stick with me?". Their hopes | Black Numen clarified by 10 of wands
This person could be hoping to be set free from this connection and the struggles that go along. They may be wanting for it to be purified and renewed, whether that means that you both go on your separate ways or decide to stick together. They hope for a deep transformation that will completely change the dynamic of the connection so that they are not the only one bearing the weight of the connection and the responsibility of it. They hope that they are not responsible in case the connection would fail to take flight. They hope that they will not be left in the dark with the burden of whatever happened between the two of you, having to deal with the consequences of a possible break up.
Their feelings | Ace of swords clarified by knight of cups
This person feels attached to you. They want clarity from you about your feelings for them because they feel like their feelings are not reciprocated. They feel like they are the only one fighting for the connection. This person feels also hopeful. They think that this connection could work out if both of you are consenting to put the effort needed to see it prosper. They feel protective over you. They also feel like they have more clarity on where they stand with you, what they feel for you and what you mean to them. They have warm feelings for you that they wish to convey. They are thinking about you and the connection, they are thinking of what they can do to come towards you and rekindle the connection. They feel like they can genuinely convince you to give this another try. They know now that their feelings are of a romantic nature and not just friendship. They feel like they want to take the connection to a new level of emotional intimacy. They feel close to you and connected with you despite what may have happened between you. They find it hard to forget you.
Their actions | King of cups clarified by the Queen of pentacles
This person intends to come back to you and express their genuine love and affection. They could be appologizing for their actions and trying to give you closure. They want to be there for you and provide you with the emotional support you need. They wish to heal the connection and nurture it. If this person was avoidant of their feelings in the past, they want to face them in the near future and clearly adress them. This person is willing to be patient and approach the connection with emotional maturity. They are willing to give you the time and space that you need to find your footing and forgive them if that is your wish. They want to reach a common ground and restore peace, understanding and proximity between you. They wish to show empathy and take responsibility for whatever happens next. They are likely to step up to the plate and give you what you need, at their own pace. They want to cultivate the connection and take care of you, give you the attention that you were lacking from them and make it up to you.
What they love about you | Temperance
They love your calm and forgiving nature, your ability to understand others and show mercy. They love how adaptable you can be and how you always see things from a higher perspective. You're a person that never retaliates, no matter what people may do to you. You just mind your own business and remain stable, walking in your lane. They love how mature and balanced you are, how you cautiously proceed in life and balance out other people. You are both very passionate and very nurturing. You can switch from one dynamic to another very swiftly. You navigate relationships easily, not expecting much from people and always giving generously when needed. They love how you don't hold gruges and understand human nature. You are wise beyond your years and extremely graceful. They love your alluring figure, your soft nature and taste for equity in everyting. They love your humble nature, your moderation. How discreet you are and quick to act. You take your time assessing situations in people. You are delicate and charming. You feel very airy to this person, like a creature that comes from a fairy tale. They love your aerian beauty and your mind. Your openmindedness and curiosity.
What they wish to say | 9 of swords clarified by High Priestess
They wish to say that they lose sleep over you and cannot forget you no matter how they try. That they see you in their sleep, whether those are dreams or nightmares. That they are scared of losing you. That they wish they could understand you more and unveil the mysteries of your nature. They wish to tell you that one of the reasons why they stay away from you is because they do not wish you to see their weaknesses and fears. That they don't want you to see their despair and vulnerability. For some of you, this person is dealing with anxiety and/or depression that they wish to hide from you. They wish to tell you that they receive intuitive downloads from you which explains why they cannot move on from you. That they feel connected to you in the 5D. They wish to tell you that the uncertainty of the connection and the future worries them. They also want to tell you that your silence and distance troubles them. They feel like they cannot reach you and that triggers them. A part of them is scared of your power and influence. With the High Priestess I get the feeling that some of you may be psychics or into tarot. That scares you person. They feel like you bewitched them. They wish to say that you're all they think of and that most of the time thoughts of you haunt them at night. They're also afraid that you maybe hiding something from them.

𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐈𝐈 | 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧
summary: you've always had a thing for JJ, but your relationship with Rafe has always been intense—heated and frustrating. The two of you are bound by similar trauma and can't deny that your hate for each other might not be hate after all.
cw: fem!reader, slightly bitchy!reader, pogue!reader, mentions of alcohol, mentions of parties, mentions of sex, swearing, mean!rafe, jealousy, angst, 1.8k
<3
The morning light filters softly through the blinds, a faint warmth settling over the room, but all you feel is a prickling sense of guilt inching up your spine. Getting involved with Rafe was never a good idea but last night the two of you finally crossed a line. You glance over at Rafe, his breathing even, the rise and fall of his chest calm and steady. His expression is neutral, a harsh contradiction to his usual tense jaw and frustrated scowl. You can’t help but remember the way he was looking at you just hours before—intense, irritated, hungry, like you’d driven him into a maddened haze where he saw nothing else but you.
You take a deep breath, laying back to stare at the ceiling, tracing the patterns in the plaster with your eyes. What were you thinking? What the fuck were you thinking? You hooked up with Rafe Cameron, the man you who you’ve been tip-toeing around for ages but the same man who fucks any living thing. But this isn’t just a fling, it never could be. You knew he would be trouble from the moment you met him—catching your eye from across the beach with a grin that was way too charming and a polo shirt hugging him in a way that made your head spin.
Fuck.
You feel a knot in your stomach. You aren’t that stupid, you made your own choices and dug your own grave. You hate it though. You hate him. And worse, you hate yourself—for being so reckless, and wanting more.
Quietly, you swing your legs over the side of the bed, your feet hitting the cool floor. The cold jolts up your legs, grounding you to reality as you hastily get dress, heart pounding with every movement—but you can’t even make it to the door.
“Where are you going?” he asks, his voice still thick with sleep.
“Don’t do that.” you reply, your voice steadier than you feel. He can’t say anything when you know he probably regrets it more than you. You’re a Pogue, he’s a Kook, it’s goes beyond that fact that you both gave in, he shouldn’t be with you.
“Don’t do what?” he shoots back, his brows furrowing as he reaches for his a pair of shorts, “I hope you know last night didn’t mean anything.” He adds, but the way his gaze shifts suggest he’s still thinking about it, though.
“Wow, charming as always, Rafe.” you retort, sarcasm dripping from your voice.
“Just calling it like it is.” he says, throwing his shorts on lazily as he stands, towering over you, his presence making you feel small. Though, you have to admit, he’s still a piece of fucking eye candy.
You clench your jaw, “You’re so fucking difficult.”
“Oh, come on,” he sneers, crossing his arms and giving you a glare, “You needed a distraction, I was here.”
You lips press into a tight line, heart pounding with guilt and regret, “You’re unbelievable.” you fumble to get the rest of your clothes on. You grab your heels and shove them on, wincing as you buckle them up, unsteady on your feet. Rafe takes a step to hold your elbow as you wobble but you yank your arm away with a scoff. He doesn’t say another word as you storm out, not wanting to give him to satisfaction of seeing just how much he’s gotten under your skin this time. Frustration and shame clings to you as you walk out of Tannyhill, feelings that you’re just unable to shake off.
Gravel crunches under your feet, the sting of discomfort shoots up your legs, and you wince as your shoes pinch against your skin. The remnants of last night cling to you, an unpleasant headache pounds in your skull—you forgot how many drinks you actually had before hate sex sobered you up. Your clothes are sticky and sour, leaving you to search your brain for pieces of the night you can’t remember. You glance at your reflection in a shop window, your hair is a disheveled mess, and your makeup, once artfully applied, now smudges your tired eyes. You feel suffocated as if you’re trapped in your own skin—itchy, irritable. Then, your phone buzzes in your pocket, pulling you from your spirling thoughts. You pull it out, glancing at the screen. It was a message from John B, “Hey, we’re heading out on the boat. Are you coming?” You hesitant to respond, fingers hovering over the screen. Part of you wants to decline, to wallow in your frustration, JJ and Kie were going to be there—the ones you needed a distraction from in the first place, but now you need a distraction from something else. Someone else. Taking a deep breath, you reply with a quick, “I’ll be there.” before shoving your phone back into your pocket and heading toward the chateau.
When you finally reach the familiar structure, the afternoon sun casts a warm, golden glow over the weathered wooden planks and sun-bleached walls. The air is thick with the scent of saltwater and you relish in the gentle breeze that cools your skin. As you draw closer, faint voices drift toward you, along with laughter and clinking cans. You make your way down the worn path that leads to the dock, where you find the group gathered in a loose circle, loading cheap beer and snacks onto the boat. Sarah and Kie are tossing a cooler filled with ice and soda into the boat, their laughter ringing out, while John B and JJ rummage through a bag, pulling out bags of chips and sandwiches. Pope stands to the side, a smile on his face, before JJ joins him against the railing.
When they finally notice you, the chatter fades, and your friends still. Kie’s smile falters for a moment, replaced by an expression of worry. Sarah and John B share and glance and Pope looks uncomfortable, hands shoved in his pockets, head hanging low. JJ’s gaze is sharper though, a flicker of irritation passing over his features as he straightens against the railing, “Well, look who finally decided to show up,” he remarks, his tone harsher than usual.
You let out a huff, rolling your eyes, “Yeah, I’m here. What’s your point?”
“It means, where have you been lately?” Sarah asks, her brow furrowed with concern. You frown, taken aback, “Y/n, you’ve been distance for days. What’s going on with you?”
Sure, you hesitated to go to the party last night, but that didn’t mean you were avoiding them. You danced with Sarah, shared laughs—so why was she upset now? A pang of guilt hits you, and you bite the inside of your cheek, glancing away. Disappointing everyone has become a habit lately, and it gnaws at you. Still, you cross your arms defensively, trying to maintain your usual composure, “I’ve just had a lot on my mind, alright.” you mumble, anger simmering beneath the surface. They never seemed to care until now—why was it suddenly your fault?
“You know you can just say if you don’t want to hang out with us anymore,” JJ says, leaning against a weathered post, his arms crossed over his chest. His words strike a nerve. The two of you used to be so close, it hurts to know he doesn’t even realize you’ve grown apart. It wasn’t entirely his fault, but he certainly wasn’t blameless. He’s so focused on Kie now that your friendship has grown more distant, perhaps distance that has make it’s way to the entire group.
“Oh, I’m sorry, am I not meeting your standards?” you snap, heat rising in your cheeks.
Kie steps closer, her eyes narrowing, the late afternoon light catching the edges of her expression, “You’re acting like a complete bitch.”
“That’s rich coming from you Kie,” you retort, the words dripping with annoyance as you fight the urge to roll your eyes, “You don’t even know who I am anymore!” The words are thick and suffocating, and you can feel the flicker of a memory—a shared laugh, a late-night conversation—slip away, like grains of sand through your fingers.
“Maybe we wouldn’t have to guess if you just talked to us!” she shoots back. You can see the pain in her eyes, longing for the friendship that’s slipping away.
“I can take care of myself.” you insist, the statement firm but hollow. You take a half-step back, trying to regain some control, but inside you’re quaking.
“We just want to help,” John B chimes in, his tone earnest with a hint of desperation. You catch the way he shifts his weight, hands fidgeting in his pockets as if he’s searching for the right words to defuse the situation.
“Why does it matter so much to you now?” you counter, the heat of your anger flaring again, “You never cared before, so why now?” As you lock eyes with them, you see the flicker of regret in John B’s gaze, the way Kie’s shoulders slump slightly, the hand Pope almost reaches toward you, and for a moment you all realize the once tight friendships that you’ve lost.
Pogue for life, my ass.
“Because we’re worried,” Sarah interjects, her voice softer but firm. “You’re not acting like yourself, and it scares us.” The words hit you harder than you expected. They were right, usually you were fearless, the kind of person who could waltz into a party and effortlessly capture the attention of everyone. You could take down those Kook girls with a couple snide comments and a smile. You were outgoing, lively, your laughter rang out like music, vibrant and contagious. You were a whirlwind of energy that was an acquired taste. Now you were constantly quiet and insecure, that spark you once had was dimmed. You were hurting and you were finally letting your friends see through you.
“I don’t need your help.” you finally reply, your voice sharper than you intend, each word tumbling out with an edge that surprises even you. Your heart aches as you watch JJ’s expression shift.
“Fine. If that’s how you feel, then go.” JJ snaps, the irritation in his voice covering the hurt behind it. He turns away, his back ridgid, and climbs into the boat, “But don’t come crawling back when it all falls apart,” he adds, his words leaving a bitter aftertaste.
You stand the for a moment and watch the rest of your friends slowly turn away, going on with the rest of their day. You scoff, a swirl of emotions tightening in your chest—regret, anger, and a hint of something else you’re too stubborn to acknowledge. Turning away you pull your phone from your pocket, fingers trembling slightly as you dial the number of the one person you can’t help but want to see.

Ok what about the kings rut headcanons? Please please please please please please 🥺
You asked and you shall receive!!
Whb Kings Rut Headcannons
Cw: darker than I anticipated, breeding, biting (hard biting like drawing blood), mentions of cannibalism, yandere behavior, Demons becoming more primal in rut, especially asmodeus, free use, Dubcon/noncon
Tumblr media
Satan
If you didn't think he would get any more violent. You're dead wrong with all this extra testosterone coursing through his veins. All he wants to do is fight things. With a legion of loyal subordinates who also want to fight and destroy, Gehenna's streets become the purge; all their rage and stress are released at once.
And they like this! Starting brawls in the streets, clashing horns and gnashing their teeth as they wrestle each other with their bare hands. Demons are challenging Satan for his claim on you bonus points if they get beaten up in the process.
But Satan wants more. He wants to fight something and feel like he's in danger, with no weapons, guns, or flamethrowers, just him and his bare hands going against something much stronger than himself. He wants to prove his strength to you and take you after winning a brutal fight. To smear his blood and semen onto you, claiming you as his.
The other kings are the only ones who can equal his strength, either in magic or in muscle. His temper somehow becomes shorter as he is itching to jump across the table and fist-fight Mammon.
His subordinates fear their King will hurt you, but it's the opposite. He's so gentle and needy that he whines for your attention. Dragging his tongue across the nape of your neck and burying his face to smell your sweet scent. Spinning you down with all of his strength, wrapping a muscular arm around you before harshly grinding his hips into you to reach as deep as possible. Unless he becomes provoked... Then that's a whole other story. You won't be sitting right for weeks.
Mammon
You are his possession as much as he views himself as yours. And he takes great care of all of his possessions. But you seem not too keen about being his... It's not like it's your choice to make anymore. Humans are fickle and don't know what they truly want. He can give you everything. So why haven't you submitted to him yet? Mammon becomes more pushy with his advances. He may be a pacifist, but he knows how much stronger he is than you are and is not used to the word no.
Of course, Mammon will worship you like any other night when the two of you get frisky, but you notice that his touch becomes more and more rough, from gentle caresses to harsh, grabbing and handling you like a doll. He not only likes to take care of his possessions but also uses them to their fullest extent. A demon of greed is still a demon of greed, And you are his favorite toy by far. Part of him wants to display you for all to see. Another part of him wants to drag you off into his bedroom chambers for you never to be seen again.
Maybe he sees you more as an exotic pet or a commodity. No matter how much he tells you that you own him, all demons are slave to their instincts when rut season is here. With the deep urge to mark you He will not hold back to how many teeth marks and hickeys he'll put on your body.
Once he feels those squeezing velvet walls around his cock he will never let you go. His body will quickly overwhelm you as he loses himself to pleasure. He will dress you in the finest silk gold and jewels. Then soaks his cum all over it. He doesn't care The price will probably go up with his seed seeped into the fabric.
Leviathan
In Hades, Few nobles show how much their rut affects them because that usually means feeding into their king's jealousy. Especially when they just so happen to have the same rut as Leviathan's
During this time, no one looks or talks to you in his presence. Mammon thinks about locking you away forever. Leviathan would actually do it.
I think Rut Leviathan becomes borderline yandere as he becomes more open about how much he wants you. Murmuring scary thoughts out loud of how he wants to lock you in a nice cage, throw away the key. Or cut a little piece off to always have with him. Or threaten to kill people close to you. All the while, he's balls deep inside you with little care of how fast he's bucking his hips (very wholesome, very romantic 💞)
He is hanging on by a thread, and all it takes is seeing you with another for him to lose it. And once he does, He will fuck you without mercy, drill his hips with every ounce of his being until the two of you can't think of anything other than each other. If he has to break your mind with his dick, he will.
Needy and petty, willing to do anything to get just a sliver of that attention. The usually refined, elegant demon becomes nothing but a moaning, drooling beast. He will fill you up. You will be claimed.
Beelzebub
That ferocious sexual hunger is tripled. No matter how much you seem to satisfy and he just wants more more more more more. And keep in mind this man has clones, too. He will let go, and his clones will swarm you.
He bites; if it weren't for his other clones tending and touching you, distracting the sharp pain of his teeth and breaking your skin with pleasure, you would be screaming in pain. It's honestly a miracle how he didn't lose control and consume you. Only because he finds the taste of your juices even sweeter, once he's between your legs he is never coming back up. A hand vigorously stroking his cock as he tries to ring you out and suck you dry. Coke sing you to cum on his tongue again and again until you physically can't give anymore. And he'll still want more after that.
Having a more sensitive nose than any other demon in hell, He is drawn to you like a moth to a flame. He'll smell you from anywhere. No matter how far you are, he'll still find you. He'll bury his nose in the name of your neck and start rolling his tongue across your flesh and wanting just a taste of you—the taste of something he'll never have.
It's almost as if he loses control of his powers since his clones don't disappear after he finishes. They stay with you, tend to you, touch you, fuck you, suck you, Constantly until their rut ends and their control returns. His dick will not leave you not. Even if you leave to go to the bathroom, he'll jump on you as if he hasn't seen you in years. He'll even be inside you when you're trying to eat or drink water, just slow grinding as he promised you he'd give you a break. He's trying to hold back.
At the end of his rut, he'll get super hungry since he rarely eats during his rut because all he can think about is fucking you. His subordinates and His people worry that he might lose control and eat you, so food will always be provided at his convenience when in a rut.
Lucifer
Obsessive dangerously obsessive. His angel body is not used to the intense hormonal heat that is a demon rut. He was not expecting His rut to come so strong... It has to be because of your influence. He tries so hard to fight back but all he could think about is you.
He could barely control himself and his body around you as is now it seems like his rut is trying to get him to mate with you to claim, punish and worship you. It's like two sides of him are fighting with each other. To bully you till you scream and cry for him. Another part of him screams to to praise and take care of you.
He punishes and overwhelms you to the point you cry. All the while, he praises and worships those tears that fall down your cheeks. Kissing them away as he fucks you harder, muttering about how well you're taking him, and you look so divine like this, like you were made to be nothing else but a cock sleeve.
Lucifer has been getting the increasing desire to learn every little bit about you put you under a microscope and examine every little hair on your head. To memorize every little twitch in your body and squeal you make. To learn what reaction you make when he tilts the angle of his cock just a right inside you.
He may or may not have a secret binder filled with detailed facts about everything you do or about you in general. But he always goes back to during his rut either to fill out more or read to himself to.... Relieve stress. His rats would have been a lot worse if it weren't for this binder so you're welcome... I can't imagine what the other Kings will do to get their hands on this.
Belphegor
It's cold and you're so warm... Would you be a doll and be his little cock warmer? His toys are nothing like the real thing. Sadly he can't sleep and masturbate at the same time and his wet dreams just make him wake up wanting more so why don't you stay here for a while and be there so he could use you as he pleases.
In meetings? He's snug right inside you! You're trying to sleep? Well he just woke up any needs to start thrusting right now, He's laying down and reading? Now don't be shy start grinding...
The farther in his right cycle the more active he becomes no longer are you just warming his cock now he's starting to grind into you. Feeling your walls milk him murmuring how you're his favorite toy.
Belphegor in rut is very needy. You can't leave for a second without him trying to follow you in some way. He can't bear to part with that warm tight hold of yours. Every time you try to move away from him he whines and cries out in displeasure.
I wouldn't try pushing your luck if I were you. If you tease him anymore he'll just flip you over and go crazy. Fucking you back into submission showing you who's a really in charge of you. If you keep misbehaving he's going to have Beleth join in and trust me you don't want that. He's not as nice as Belphegor is.
Asmodeus
Losing all control, He is no longer a demon at this point now a feral beast wanting one thing. A Mate. Not just anyone though... No not just anyone will do, He wants you... He wants you in the most primal way, drill you into the soil the both of you howling and pleasure. And of course since it is the season to feel lust his power is significantly stronger to the point where if he were to escape all of hell would Make people have orgies in his path. For the safety of you and frankly everyone else
So, at the start of the demon rut season, They chain Asmodeus up and lock him deep underneath the Abaddon red prison. If you still want to visit him that's your death wish but the guards think perhaps maybe you can calm him down since his rut only had gotten worse since he came back to hell.
Asmodeus is now completely naked His form in the middle of his human form and beast form as he struggles to maintain control. His smile widens as you see. His nostrils flare at your scent as he books his hips, his cock with a swollen knot at the base.
However, if you didn't visit him... He would break out and find you... Hunt you down like a hungry animal. There is no high; there is no How are you? There's just chasing and breeding. He looks at you with wide, unblinking eyes, stalking closer, ready to pounce. A beast with a sadistic thrill of the chase so much so that he'd rather toy with his prey before taking you completely. He'd rather slowly make you known of his presence that he draws near and you better find an escape plan before he gets you.
You better pray that you are not out in hell alone at night. Any other time, he would love having the kings underneath him, but now His instinct screams that they will take you from him. He will fight them with his bare hands and prove to you that he's the better male and hopes you'll choose him, give your body to him, and let him mark you as his mate.

Planned Fanfics !
ft. platonic/ yandere batfam, superfam, villains, au's & many more!
Tumblr media
— Disclaimer! This contains massive spoilers and all my plans for future works that I'll soon publish. This is posted because I wish to update my readers upon the contents of what I'm working to write and for them to leave inputs and whatnot. Sorry for the delays and all, life is hectic and as much as I love writing, I also have a life outside of this site sadly. By the way, this is not even half of my drafts and if anyone is interested in the things written beneath here, then please do tell!
Tumblr media
To Be His Child is All I want (A&A, Chapter 5): Confronting Jason, one of your brothers who played a role in neglecting you, and being partly the reason why you ventured out the manor to seek love, away from the unhealthy environment, was no easy task. Back and forths with him, and reasoning why you don't wish to return back 'home' only poured fire into the flames of your already aching heart, as you scream about only wishing to be loved by even a fraction of the compassion Bruce feels for all his other children was all you needed to feel happy in life. It was enough to leave Jason breathless, muddled with emotions he couldn't quite grasp.
As you drown in a seamless fit of arguing and sobbing into the arms of your brother, the manor holds a meeting regarding your sudden disappearance. Bruce is promptly disappointed at Jason's absence; the others are just as intrigued with Dick and Damian's urgency to find you. Yet all are unbeknownst to your plans of escape, and most especially to a certain Kryptonian's scheme to have you in his arms all for himself.
Family Dinner (A&A): Silly, old you can't seem to stomach the fact that they're all looking at you now at the elongated table when months ago you were a mere ghost in their eyes whilst they chatter happily amongst each other. Unfamiliar with how communicating with a family who estranged you works; you end up having a panic attack in the middle of dinner when Damian attempted to hug you.
To Love and To Cherish (Random): Bruce Wayne loves his spouse and everything about them. They're everything desirable in his eyes and he couldn't help the urges that keeps him running back to you every time he patrols to ensure not only the safety of Gotham, but for the sake of his growing plans to fully integrate you as a full-time house spouse. The problem Bruce faces, though, is that he's not actually married to you, yet, and you're unaware of his prying eyes on your form as you live alone in your shabby apartment.
Flowers on My Grave (A&A, Hanahaki AU): Flowers don't only bloom inside your lungs when you're rejected by someone you love romantically, they can also manifest through platonic love unrequited. Vomiting a bouquet of yellow carnations and an arraw of purple and blue hyacinths, you set to sever the bond of love you once felt for them once and for all.
Cold House, Lone Spouse (Loving Family, Unpalatable Desire): You come home from Clark's farm to sleep in your own room to make sure nobody suspects a thing; expecting to power through the pain of loneliness in your room. But you end up waking up to Bruce's body pressed against your back and his arms caging you, unrelenting in its pursuit to make sure you never seek out another man's hold again.
Once Your Son, Always Your Son (Loving Family, Unpalatable Desire): Your routine with your beloved son, Jon, leaves nothing else to be desired as you set about your usual nightly schedule of helping him clean up, fix his bed, and read him bedtime stories— something you've grown accustomed to love naturally as being a parent does. But when Damian comes to visit you once Jon falls asleep, he enviously demands you do the same to him and to return to the manor where a better family is waiting for you.
The Confrontation (Loving Family Unpalatable Desire): Clark's night with you always ends up with him hovering above your body, kissing all the exposed parts of your skin, and worshipping your body which lays upon his bed every night. It's the perfect fantasy, yet it's promptly shattered when he sees the familiar silhouette of his comrade, clad in all black, demanding that Clark returns his spouse back in his arms; as if he's not the very same man who left you all alone that night at the gala, available for taking.
A Father's Strange Case of Gift Giving (A&A): To make it up to you, Bruce tries to spoil you rotten with a bottomless allowance and unrestricted access to all his credit cards. Even a mansion built on your name is built as one of the family's vacation houses. One unsettling fact, though, is Bruce's proficiency of capturing every detail of all things you prefer in such a short span of time after kidnapping you. (i.e. You're unaware of the cameras planted in every corner of your room trying to capture the things that makes you smile).
Mind Games and Mind Control (Brutus): What if it were The Riddler and Scarecrow who saved you from nearly dying? With your emotional reception, and both their wits, you end up stirring more trouble for Gotham's vigilantes. But during times where you've nothing to do but watch as both villains enact upon their master plans, itching to satisfy the ache of bloodlust coursing through your veins, you start to notice the abrupt bouts of energy they exert upon tormenting whoever stares at you (sitting comfortably on a cushioned couch, treated like royalty no less) or talks behind your back— crazed for your words of approval and praise as if it's not them who are capable enough of controlling you instead.
The Powered, and the Powerless (Random, Romantic Batfam): During the night, they are your city's saviors, the light that shines bright on darkness, the hope that never wavers through moments of fear. Daytime, meanwhile, they're portrayed as a rich, socialite family who donate millions on charity and everything that promotes good costs. Power comes to them naturally, and praise is served to most of them in a silver platter for all their hard work. You can even say their status is akin to that of Gods, except you don't think of them the same way others do; choosing to utilize your immense knowledge of internet safety to publish articles and conspiracies pertaining to each member of the Wayne family through anonymous forums. Yet all this results in their interest in your secret identity.
Fate Unwanted (Random, Soulmate AU): You're a simple person living on the outskirts of an unnamed town on the boundaries of Gotham. Curious on why your parents are protective of you, forcing you to live with countless of strick rules written boldly on paper and plastered on the front of your refrigerator, and why you just can't seem to produce or perceive any soulmate bond; you set out on a mission to find the mysteries of your unmarked soul. Little did you know that the strangers you stumble upon who chose to assist you on your journey, all from every city and every known state, have found their soulmate that they're unwilling to share.

This is embarrassing - M. Verstappen (2)
Summary: Y/n and Max meet again at the slopes. Part one Part three
Tumblr media
And the next day was even busier on the slopes. The last time it was so extremely crowded at the ski lift... Three years ago. It almost looked like people were waiting for a Harry Styles concert. It was a beautiful day, but not a special day. Well, it was Christmas Day, but usually, it would be quiet on the slopes.
Y/n was watching the chaos from a distance. Her plan was to ski for an hour, but suddenly, she didn't look forward to it anymore. She removed her helm from her head and grabbed the skies from the ground. Time to go home. An annoyed feeling flowed through her veins. She hoped that she could some time on the slopes, just to relax - well, to empty her mind - and then to get ready for the evening. For a moment, she longed for a lockdown again; no people, no queues, not having to share the slopes with anyone. Y/n turned around and made her way to the exit, passing everyone complaining about the busyness.
Her eyes fell on someone who was struggling to remove his skies from his boots. Y/n walked towards them. "Do you need some help?"
"Oh, yes, please. I can't get those off."
Y/n explained to the person how to do it.
"I always feel so stupid when it doesn't work." The person put off the goggles and removed the helmet. A smile came on his face. "Hey, you, again."
A smile grew on her face. "We keep bumping into each other," she smirked.
Max noticed that the young woman was an easy talker and joked around. "It's almost getting too notable." He took a deep breath. "Thanks, for this. But, err, I really need to go to the restroom, so I'm gonna go."
"Yes, sure. I wont hold you up any longer." She grabbed her gear from the ground again and saw how Max walked in the opposite direction from the restrooms. "Hey!" Y/n stepped towards him. "It's the other direction," she said, pointing behind her.
"Yes, I know. But the queue is long. And I can hold it up for a bit longer."
"Oh, okay," she nodded.
Max walked away again. It was a good day to go out, and he wasn't the only one who thought about it like that. The entire village thought like that. Today was more about waiting than skiing. Max looked next to him, and the young woman was walking behind him. They made eye contact, and she shared an awkward smile. "It's busy out there," he said to her.
She nodded. "Unfortunately," she mentioned. "How many times did you manage to get up there?"
"Four times now, since this morning. You?"
"Zero." She sighed. "I was about to hit the slopes, but then I saw the queue and turned around."
"You're late."
"Yeah, I hoped that everyone would be too drunk because of the Après-ski and would get ready for their Christmas dinner," she honestly shared.
Max couldn't help it, but he laughed. "That's quite the strategy." He looked in front of them. "I feel like it's much busier than before."
"It's the same as before Covid, actually. But it looks busier."
"Ah, makes sense."
"And during Covid, when we were open, only the guests from the resort had access. And now everyone has access again."
He nodded. "Fully back to normal."
"Yep." Y/n struggled to carry her skies, which annoyed her more. "Where do you stay?"
"Other side of the village," he replied. "We're renting a house. It's called Maison de Neige."
"Ah, that's a lovely house. Far away, though."
He looked at her and noticed the somewhat judgy look. He knew it sounded stupid. Why go to your accommodation to go to the bathroom on the other side of the village when there's a restroom nearby? "I know, I know. But it was so busy."
"Yeah, I mean, I would do the same," she agreed. "You know what? I live there," she pointed at a house across the street. "If you want to, you can use the toilet. Saves you some time."
Max raised his eyebrows. "Are you sure?" He scanned the houses in the street. He thought those were holiday accommodations since all of them looked huge.
Y/n nodded. "Yes. It's no problem."
For a moment, Max hesitated. Could he trust her? But on the other hand, she didn't look like a person who would take advantage of him. "What is your name, actually?"
"Oh, yes, right. My name is Y/n," she introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Y/n. I'm Max."
"I know," she whispered. "Nice to meet you, too." Y/n zipped her coat open and grabbed her keys. She opened the door that led to the garage.
Max followed her inside. He closed the door behind him and looked around. On the left side, one car was parked. On the other side, he saw a lot of ski gear. In the middle of the garage was a wooden bench to undress from the thick layers of ski gear. And that was what Y/n did. He followed her attitude.
"The relief when taking those boots off..." She got up and waited for him.
He put his helmet on the bench next to him and got up as well. "...heavenly," he dreamingly said and followed her upstairs. His eyes fell on the photos on the wall of the hall; a lot of family photos.
"Eh, here is the toilet," Y/n said and opened a door in the hall.
She left Max by going to the kitchen. Now she wasn't going to the slopes anymore, she wanted to treat herself to a glass of hot chocolate for the disappointment. Treat yourself. But now, did she need to ask Max if he also wanted a glass? She invited him over, but just for the use of the toilet. What if he thought this was weird? Y/n grabbed her hoodie that was hanging over the bar stool in the kitchen, put it on and stepped into her slippers. She leaned against the kitchen counter, debating her decision. If he says yes, give him hot chocolate. If he says no, nothing else will happen. It's not the end of the world.
"Thank you."
Y/n looked up and saw Max standing in the hall. She friendly smiled. "No problem," she said. "And, eh... This may sound weird, but I'm gonna make some hot chocolate. Do you want a glass too?" She was waiting for his reaction. "It's okay if you want to go back..." she quietly added.
"Can't say no to hot chocolate," he responded with a smile and entered the kitchen. "And it's not like it will be less busy now, on the slopes."
"Fair." Y/n heated some chocolate milk.
"No offence," Max broke the silence. He only had seen the kitchen, but the kitchen looked new and modern. And the size of the house was big; he assumed the entire property was one home. And the car in the garage was the new Volvo. "But what do you do for a living to live in a house like this?"
She looked at him and smirked. "It's my parents' house."
"Yeah, okay, I already thought so," he made the assumption. "But even then. They say it's expensive to live in this area."
"It is," she confirmed, pouring the hot chocolate into two cups. "Whipped cream?"
"Yes, please."
Y/n grabbed the whipped cream from the fridge and put it on the hot chocolate. "So, yeah. It's not like my dad is the mayor of the village, but he is in charge of the slopes; the maintenance, staff, etcetera. And my mum is the general manager of Blue."
"Blue?"
"The resort." She handed over the hot chocolate and sat down on one of the stools at the kitchen island.
"Thanks." He sat down next to her.
Whenever Y/n would say that her parents were a big name in the village, she was scared that people would think that she would use that position for herself. She was proud of her parents, but... "So yeah, the daughter of."
"How is that like?" Max could perhaps fill in the answer, but he wanted to keep the conversation going. He ate some of the whipped cream.
"I would say lonely; they are barely home. We always have to postpone the holidays to moments when it's not busy. But on the other hand, my brother and I help them, so we always have something to do around here. And I really can't complain about where I live."
He nodded. "Yeah, I can imagine... It has its pros and cons?"
She nodded as well and carefully took a sip from her drink.
"I'm barely home as well."
"You know how it feels from the other side," she quietly mentioned and smirked to keep the conversation light. "But," Y/n started and smiled, "what will you be doing tonight?"
Today was Christmas. "We're staying at the Maison and making dinner on our own. We spend the evening at the restaurant yesterday. Yesterday we dressed up; today, we wear the ugliest Christmas jumper."
A smile grew on Y/n's face. "Sounds good."
"And you?"
"My parents said that they might be off for the evening. And if that isn't the case, my brother and I will relax, have a Christmas film marathon and eat too much food." Y/n stroked a piece of hair behind her ear. "It sounds like we don't have friends or other family, but they already have plans."
"I'm not judging you. Who am I to judge?"
You are Max Verstappen.
"Besides, I prefer lazy Christmas evenings over busy, formal, perfect-not-so-perfect Christmas diners where you can't be yourself," he added.
She pushed the corners of her mouth down and looked impressed. "You have a point there."
"See."
"I don't know, it sounds so pathetic. A 24-year-old celebrating Christmas on the couch."
"I think a lot of 24-year-olds are jealous of you. Secretly," Max comforted her and lightly shrugged. "But, now I am here with a knower of the slopes. When is it quiet on the slopes?"
Y/n took a sip of the hot chocolate and licked her lips when she could feel the whipped cream on them. "Tomorrow morning," she replied. "And the morning after New Year. When the slopes open at 8 o'clock, to 9 o'clock-ish. No one wants to be there in the morning after a holiday with a hangover or a lack of sleep," she chuckled.
"Will you be there?"
"Oh, absolutely," she replied without hesitation. "I can't say no to an almost empty slope during the peak days."
A laugh rolled over his lips. "I like how dedicated you are."
Y/n held up her shoulders and looked proud of her knowledge. "Quality over quantity," she playfully said.
"As you should."
"You can join me, if you want. We're going with the family."
He squinted and thought about it. An empty slope? Fantastic. But with a hangover or only a few hours of sleep? Meh. "Let me think about that."
"Of course, no stress. We're leaving at half past seven. I will see if you will be downstairs tomorrow." She took the last sip of the hot chocolate.
Max nodded, emptying his cup as well. "Thank you for the hot chocolate, it was good," he smiled. "I'm going back to the Maison, calling it a day."
"I'm glad it was."
They made their way to the garage below the house, and Max put on his gear again, ready to enter the cold again. Well, it wasn't that cold, but it also wasn't warm. A decent temperature, but on the colder side to ski.
"Thanks again," Max smiled and opened the backdoor that led to the street. He was holding his skies and helmet in his hands, really showing he would go to his own place.
Y/n crossed her arms in front of her chest when the cold circled around her body. She smiled. "No need to thank me. Merry Christmas, Max."
"Merry Christmas," he smiled. "And maybe I will see you tomorrow morning. Half past seven, right?"
She nodded. "On the dot," she playfully said.
A chuckle escaped his mouth, and he stepped away, turning his back to her. "We will see," he mentioned and threw his hand with helmet in the air.
The smile on Y/n's mouth became wider, and she shook her head. Meeting him was the last thing that she expected, let alone drinking hot chocolate with him. She closed the door and locked it again. Her eyes fell on her ski gear, she didn't tidy it up. A sigh left her mouth, and she picked up her skies, placing them in their holder on the wall. She grabbed her boots and put them on the side. When she grabbed her helmet from the bench, the backdoor opened.
"Hey, Y/n/n,” her brother's voice filled the garage. Theodore grinned when he looked at his sister. He was wearing his teacher's ski outfit, meaning he got back straight from the slopes.
Y/n raised her eyebrows, and an annoying look came on her face. She hated that nickname, and he knew that. "Piss off," she mumbled. "Close the door for the cold."
"Good..." The deep voice of her dad said. When he stepped in, he was looking at his watch. "...afternoon," he finished when he saw it was a few minutes before six o'clock. Her dad was dressed normally; trousers, leather boots, a trendy coat.
"Ah, how cosy," a female voice then filled the air. A woman entered the garage, wearing her work clothes, and closed the door, locking it. "When was the last time we all stood in the garage at the same time?" The mother was widely smiling.
A soft smile grew on Y/n's face. "Are we all home tonight?"
"Yes."
"Yup."
"Absolutely."
Something she never thought would happen. She hoped for it, knew it was unrealistic, but this... A Christmas present to the family. "Love it," Y/n smiled and grabbed her coat. She brought her helmet and coat upstairs and stored them in the closet. She got to the kitchen and put the two used cups in the dishwasher.
“Y/n/n,” mum said when entering the kitchen. "Shall we make dinner in an hour?"
"Yes, sure."
"Do I need to help with anything?" Dad put on the coffee machine and leaned against the counter while crossing his arms in front of his chest.
Mum took a deep breath. "Uh..." She looked around the kitchen. "Let's just relax for a bit. My brain is a sponge." She left the kitchen with a glass of water in her hand and a yawn that escaped her lips.
"What's on the menu?" Dad asked his daughter. "And do you want a cup of coffee?"
"A cappuccino, please," Y/n replied. "And we have carpaccio, salmon with veggies and tiramisu," she mentioned and opened the fridge. "But we have to make the tiramisu since it was sold out."
"Let's make the tiramisu, then we will set the table and do the rest," he replied. "Mum has an extremely busy time; let's give her some rest. I think we need tonight simple anyway. Dinner and then watch a movie. I'm exhausted, everyone is exhausted."
Theodore entered the kitchen. "Sounds like a plan. Honestly, I'm not even dressing up. I'm gonna shower and put on a Christmas jumper, and that is all I will give you tonight." He yawned. "I've seen so many people today, I am overcooked."
"Was your class fun?" Dad asked his son and made a coffee for Y/n. "Coffee?"
Theodore nodded at his last question. "Yes, please. And the class... I have this annoying child I have to deal with, but overall, it's fine. Glad we have nothing tomorrow."
"Are we still doing the ski trip at eight tomorrow?" Y/n then asked.
"I say yes, but only if I have the energy for it," Theodore breathed.
"I will go, it's the only time I can go," dad breathed.

Meeting the Family - Stanford Pines
Tumblr media
Ford is absolutely nervous to introduce you to his family. If he’d let you get a word in, you tell him the trust.
Thanks for the request, anon. Sorry it took me so long to get to this.

Ford’s hand lingered on the doorknob as he let out a long, shaky breath. He glanced at you, eyes nervous behind his glasses. “I know I’m making a big deal out of this,” he admitted, smiling apologetically. “It’s just that I want you to like them and I want them to like you.”
Your heart warmed and you squeezed his hand. “Ford, that’s really sweet, but-”
He cut you off before you could finish. “It’s just that they’re unique. They mean a lot to me, so I don’t want you to be surprised.” He chuckled, but it sounded forced. “I’ve spent so much of my life not letting people in, but now that I have the chance, I feel, I don’t know, rusty?”
“Trust me, Ford,” you said softly, trying to reassure him, “I already know more than you think.” He really has no idea.
He looked at you with a puzzled smile, then, finally pushed the door open, ushering you into the Mystery Shack. Before he even had a chance to call out, you heard the sound of thundering footsteps and two familiar voices shouting, “[Y/N]!”
Dipper and Mabel hurtled toward you, arms outstretched. Mabel practically threw herself at you and Dipper wrapped his arms around you from the other side, nearly knocking the air out of you with their enthusiastic hug.
“I missed you guys!” You laughed, hugging them back.
“We missed you too!” Mabel chirped, squeezing you tighter. “It’s been so boring here without you!”
Dipper nodded. “You should’ve been here last week. Grunkle Stan’s been teaching us some questionable card tricks.”
“Oh, they’re only questionable if you lose,” Stan’s voice cut in from behind them. He strolled over with his trademark smirk, crossing his arms as he looked at you and then at Ford who was standing there looking utterly bewildered.
Ford cleared his throat. “Wait, hold on, you know each other?”
Dipper and Mabel pulled back and exchanged amused looks. “Know each other? [Y/N] helped Grunkle Stan rescue you from the multiverse, man!” Dipper said with a grin.
“She’s, like, a total hero! The portal, all that crazy stuff. You wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for her!” Mabel was nodding enthusiastically, her eyes wide.
Ford’s jaw dropped as he stared at you in shock. “You, you helped bring me back?” He stammered as if the words couldn’t quite make it past his lips.
You shrugged, trying to play it cool despite the smile tugging at your lips. “I tried to tell you, but you were, well, a little too focused on making this whole introduction perfect.”
Ford’s gaze softened, and he ran a hand through his hair, looking sheepish. “I was so nervous. I guess I just never let you finish.”
“Ford, you were so busy trying to be the perfect boyfriend that you didn’t even realize I already knew your family, but it’s very sweet of you.” You chuckled, giving his arm a gentle squeeze.
Ford rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks tinged pink. “I’m sorry. I must have sounded ridiculous.”
“You sounded adorable,” you corrected with a smile and you saw his blush deepen.
“Aw, he was really trying to make it special for you!” Mabel teased, clasping her hands and looking between the two of you with a knowing grin. “That’s so cute, Grunkle Ford!”
Ford cleared his throat again, trying to regain some semblance of his usual composure, but the warmth in his expression was undeniable. He looked at you, “Well, I guess the surprise is on me, then.”
Stan, who’d been watching all this with an amused grin, finally spoke up. He nudged Ford’s shoulder. “She handled all that multidimensional mess without even breaking a sweat.”
“Oh, I wouldn’t say that,” you laughed, shaking your head. “I think there was a lot of sweating involved.”
Ford, still looking dazed, finally let out a soft chuckle. “I just can’t believe it. I spent so much time worrying about how you’d get along with everyone and you were already, well, part of the family.”
Mabel beamed. “And now it’s official! We have to celebrate!”
Dipper grinned, his eyes lighting up with excitement. “We could make dinner! You should’ve seen the amazing nachos [Y/N] made the last time she was here. Ford, you have to try them!”
“You’ve been holding out on me.” Ford raised his eyebrows, looking at you with an affectionate, slightly amused expression.
“Only because you were too nervous to listen,” you teased.
Stan clapped his hands together. “Alright, enough mushy crap. If we’re making dinner, we’re doing it right. [Y/N], you’re in charge of nachos, and I’ll make my famous-”
“Grunkle Stan,” Mabel interrupted, “last time you tried to make ‘famous’ anything, the kitchen almost caught on fire.”
Ford stifled a laugh, shooting Stan a look. “Maybe I’ll supervise this time.”
Stan rolled his eyes, but there was a grin tugging at his mouth. “Yeah, yeah, whatever, nerd. As long as nobody tries to make any more of Mabel’s experimental smoothies.”
“Oh, come on,” Mabel protested, putting her hands on her hips, “you liked the kale-cucumber one!”
Dipper snorted. “You only liked it because you bet Soos he couldn’t chug the whole thing.”
Ford chuckled, a relaxed, content look settling on his face as he listened to his family bicker. Finally, he turned to you, his eyes soft. “Thank you,” he murmured, low enough that only you could hear. “For everything.”
You smiled, reaching for his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
