-took a Really good picture of a squirrel this morning -played a very amusing game of yahtzee involving dice theft and death threats -’i am not a woman im a god’ is a bop even when im not considering the mental health implications i can draw from it -learned about some new creation myths today, it was interesting -have decided i really like the japanese one (with Izanami and Izanagi) in particular bc of the focus on love in it -doing compsci things makes me feel So smart. i am a clever man. wouldnt u wish to be me. i understand logic gates -ive been consistently working out for 1+ month and not only am i proud of myself for keeping to schedule i Am seeing results and like. fuck man. gender is stored in the muscles -took a nice shower and sung really loud while using lavender soap and put on a nice pair of faux pjs and that’s self care babey -did a Bunch of practice test thingys and it was a little bit bc i wanted to be prepared and a lot bc i knew it would make a loved one proud so like yeah <3 -spoopy spoopy times -playing deltarune ch1 and Woo Boi am i gonna feel bad about my eventual ch2 decisions but right now im being nice and sparing and im so Moral -blink snipe: idk what the most recent episode of her show was about Exactly but a) she is so valid for her excitement over it b) based on the gif set where the husbands got the red clothes she’s also Correct in her excitement

he gets her out of the house to socialize and have fun and maybe help her be a little less shy and awkward, and she helps him wind down and keeps him in check and bc they've known each other so long she's not afraid to Tell Him when he's taking something too far or when he's being kind of a jerk, and she's someone he can rely on and he's bad at expressing how much he appreciates that but he does, and he's someone she can count on to lift her up when she needs it and makes her feel comfortable enough to have fun without worrying so much about what other people think.

Maddie is one of the very few people Alfred can be totally honest with, and Alfred is one of the few people Maddie doesn't feel the need to Appease or Prove Herself to, bc they've just known each other for so long so like they both already Know and they've already seen and heard it all, and so they can just be their normal selves with each other and it's such a relief.

I noticed that you always draw dragonborn with tails - I only played DnD 5e and in that book it's explicitly stated that they don't have tails. So is that just a personal preference or are they described different in other versions?

Personal preference/initial ignorance of canon! When I first designed my first D&D character (Etney) I did so with barely a glance at any of the official source material, I just drew what I thought looked cool

 Most of the other dragonborn you’ll see on my blog are commissions of other people’s characters and their creators were probably like me in that a) they haven’t studied the source material in great detail (I don’t think taillessness is explicitly mentioned in the PHB? Idk where it’s mentioned) or b) they did read it but chose to ignore it

Personally I think dragonborn with tails look cooler but as it’s one of those flavour things that has no direct affect on the game’s mechanics people can design them how they like! It’s kind of like the fact that tieflings, in canon, have skin tones ranging from human tones to dark red, but the community as a whole has kind of gone ‘okay, but what if they were also purple’
