Leo is stupid embarrassed at first just because he doesn't want to picture anyone having sex with Honor Roll, but if he can find a way to slide what he knows into conversation without looking like a perv then he absolutely will.

SHO- It's less that he calls him out and more like Leo wants to tease his friend a bit because he expects this to be something Sho'll hit and quit but like... why is he blushing. There's plenty of older people who will yank his hair while fucking and suck him off if that's what he's into. He cannoT be thinking of dating that basic bitch is he insane? Sho is getting dragged to the club this weekend and Leo is going to be disappointed when Sho is turning people down; he needs to get his boy out of this school it's starting to affect his brain.

Alan- I know my post references him spying on him and Thoma but if Leo followed him thinking that he was meeting up with three eyes only to hear him hooking up with MC... personally I think Alan would want to be a gentle lover and treat MC sort of like glass but Leo refuses to even think the words "making love." Yeah he's getting bullied, Leo wants to see if he'll really lay hands on someone for talking shit about his partner. Best part is when he gets shoved up a wall he can just ask if MC likes it like that.

Subaru- He's subtle with it because Leo wants Subaru to be a bit paranoid about what he knows and feel embarrassed, but I could see this being something that makes Subaru genuinely angry. It's one thing to make fun of him for crying, it's another to shame MC and imply they're dishonorable in some way for indulging him. It's still a win in Leo's book since he gets to see Subaru not being perfect.

And Subaru absolutely cries during sex, he can feel your arousal and love for him when you touch and it overwhelms him to feel so safe. Sure he's been horny before but he didn't think sex could feel so good...

Romeo- Leo seems to respect Ro Ro's taste but this seriously makes him question that. Why would he be with something so cheap? Does he get on his knees for Honor Roll before he takes it up the ass or would that ruin his slacks? Romeo is flustered over his comment sure but deep down, he is also sort of smug that he has someone who praises him as much as the MC does. He's heard what you have to say about Leo so he knows it's real. Also is it just me or with how much he flexes his spending, do you think that would extend to things like lube too? idk I just feel like even that would have to be designer for him (¬_¬")

Taiga- He isn't even sure you were having sex; whatever happened in that room is between you and the C.I.A. at this point because Leo knows for damn sure god hasn't been anywhere near you in a while.

Unexpectedly, my friends loved them.

ILYA - unwell henchman

i know its a boys name,

An aiding hand to an ambiguous villain, Ilya was introduced as sneaky, smiling, and untrustworthy. The facade collapsed once she vomited inside a cup after accidentally touching the liquified remains of (unbeknown to her) her younger sibling. The villain is a wizard of great power and transported all the liquid from their body to put out a fire, mummifying and killing the person in the process in an attempt to save several.

She seeks her sibling amongst the city. The tingling awareness of their demise at the hands of the guild she encouraged them to join and growing panic and grief led her to start a fight with someone who is spiraling as well.

She ends up at the local clinic, heavily injured and minus one eye, and spirals further from her injuries, her guilt, and the knowledge her family was correct about her being too mentally fragile to be in the city. Until....

(For now. The overall arc for this character is of recovery and improvement instead of pain and self-destruction. Forgive your past and find value within you that goes beyond self-sacrifice. With the help of others, of course.)

Despite her questionable moral position, a lot of characters feel the need to protect her.

Originally meant to be a minor antagonist that would kidnap a character to harvest their organs and be easily defeated. Villain of the week type.

However, his snarky behavior, violent temperament, fancy victorian-boy-esque looks captured a lot of attention. He is a little freak but his direct words seem to bring out a lot of honesty in other characters.

Fun facts; His name is inspired by Edward Hyde. He is roomates and best friend/adopted sibling to Ilya. He makes an effort to be fancier than he is because he was born a bastard child and forced to be his fathers servant before he murdered his siblings and father and joined the army to escape (where he met ilya and ultimately got adopted into her family <333)

I recently made an oc just to mess around with the players while they were in jail! Well, now one of them drank his blood and is forever connected to him. The other one got her finger broken cuz she poked him. He also had the prision keys the entire time but pretended to be a prisioner as well. What a menace! I love making horrible pests. His name is red cuz thats how the others refered to him, because I described him as having red hair and red eyes.

Isnt it funny how despite being a DM I never use my monster designs?! I find it a lot more interesting to make characters specifically meant to alter the course of the character development of my players. I love to change deeply and irrevocably! : D

*So before we begin, since the Scovillia Headmaster doesn't have a canon name, I don't think he does, though correct me if I'm wrong, I'm gonna call him Spicey Buffalo Cookie.*

The academy halls of the ever hot Scovillia leave you feeling nostalgic. You used to walk these halls as a student, right alongside your best friends, but now you walk them as a teacher. Not much has changed about them either; still adorned with hues of red, orange, and black.

You make your way to the courtyard and sit down on a bench. You breathe in, and the smell of burning wood fills your senses. It's a nice scent. Calming and familiar. "Welcome back, (Y/n) Cookie."

You jump a little, startled by the gruff voice. Looking behind you, you see the headmaster himself walking over to you. He takes a seat beside you, and the two of you sit in silence for a little. "It's been a while since we've seen one another, no?"

"It certainly has. Three, no, four years?"

"Six years, actually." You pause, hardly believing it's been that long since you've seen your dear old friend.

"I'm so sorry."

"What ever for?" The headmaster looks over at you in surprise. You have your head hanging low as you look at the cobbled path below.

"We were so close during our time here as students. We laughed and cried together, fought, and made up; it seemed like nothing could pull us apart. After graduating, though, we hardly spoke to each other until we just stopped altogether. I feel, have felt, guilty about it." You feel a few tears fall from your eyes. Reminiscing about your time together really makes you sappy.

A warm hand is placed on your cheek, tilting your head to the side. The headmaster and yourself have gotten closer, you note, as he wipes away your tears. "Don't fret over the past, as the blame is not entirely on you. We both were so wrapped up in our own lives that we let the bond that held us together fade. I regret such a thing dearly."

"As do I." The two of you sit in silence, basking in the others presence.

"(Y/n) Cookie, there is something I must confess." Your focus is now only on him. "I have regretted not telling you sooner, but I....I am in love with you." Your eyes widen, and your jaw drops. "Back then, you were a wild spitfire. Always running around, causing chaos wherever you went. You stole my heart the first time I saw you deck another student who was bullying a junior." He chuckles as he remembers that moment.

"As we grew, I tried to keep an eye on you, worried how your fighting spirit would guide you. I am glad to know that, while still wild at times, you've become calmer. It is a different side of you that has made me fall in love with you all over again." Removing his hand from you, he reaches up to his helmet and pulls it off. Underneath the headgear is a cookie whose hair seems to be made of flames and eyes of amber. His red horns shine brightly underneath the sun.

He looks back over at you with baited breath, hoping he hears you return his affection.

And you do.

Grabbing his hands, you gently squeeze them. "Oh, Buffalo Cookie, I'm so happy you feel the same." Your words send a wave of relief and love all throughout him. "I admit, I've also been in love with you since we fist met. You radiated such a fiery passion, how could I not fall for you. You've always had my back and were always the one I needed to calm down. I've loved you since then and still do."

His heart feels as if though it's doing back flips. He laughs and picks you up with his strong arms, spinning you around. You join in on his contagious laughter. Setting you down, he looks at you with love in his eyes. The two of you share a single look before meeting the other for a sweet kiss. For a moment, it feels as if though the two of you are the only ones I'm the world, though that's proven incorrect by the sound of cheering.

Pulling apart the two of you, see a bunch of Scovillia students cheering at the doors to the courtyard and above in the open corridors. Front and center is Capsaicin Cookie cheering loudly. "Alright! Way to go, Headmaster and Professor!" The two for you look at each other before bursting out laughing. He picks his helmet up and puts it back on before taking your hand and walking back to he school.

"Seems like the others were just waiting for us to confess. Do you think they had a bet going?"

"I wouldn't be surprised, hun, not at all."

"Haha, you might be right, my dear."

Life in the Digital Circus was...mediocre at best. Caine's adventures were tolerable most of the time but downright miserable other times. It seemed like he was just trying to either keep them entertained but didn't understand how...or he was trying to torment them. It was unclear. No matter what his intention was, it ended up tormenting.

The first few weeks of living in the Circus were disorienting. The colors were bright and the atmosphere was tense. Your new body was that of a ball-jointed doll. You had replacement limbs in your room. Your primary outfit was a pink and white dress with white athletic shoes; although luckily, you could change into a more casual outfit for when you didn't want the dress.

Your main safe haven was your room. It had a pastel theme that was easy on the eyes and had somewhat dim lights compared to the rest of the place. Your bed was a decent size and had comfy covers with string lights hanging above it. On one side of the room, a desk with a laptop and art supplies sat and the half finished painting of sunset rested on an easel. Your room was your escape from reality and the inevitable repeated realization that you were truly stuck in this place.

You sat on the bed and doodled your friends in your sketchbook: Gangle, Zooble, Pomni, Ragatha, and Kinger. You enjoyed each of their company in different ways. Gangle geeked out on art with you and offered advice on how to improve. She was anxious without her comedy mask, but being in her presence was still comforting since she understood you. You weren't super close with Zooble since they tended to keep to themself; but you two could find a comfortable silence in each other's company that seemed to drain away all the stress of life. Pomni was a little clingy with you since you were new and understood her fearful desire to escape. Despite this, she was still compassionate and friendly and always seemed to know when you needed company. Kinger was...Kinger. Most of the time, you couldn't help but feel sympathy for him because of his madness; but he had a surprising level of wisdom that came out every once and a while and provided a comforting shoulder whenever you needed it.

The only one left out of the main drawing was...Jax. He was merely a doodle in the corner of the page. You couldn't stand him. He constantly harassed and bullied you whenever he got the chance. You tried everything to get him to stop. Getting upset and lashing out amused him. Ignoring him amused him. Getting him back amused him. There was no winning. He just kept doing it.

Your drawing was about the last adventure Caine sent everyone on. It was actually...pretty relaxing for once. He sent everyone on a mission to a "haunted beach." To his dismay, the ai didn't function correctly and none of the NPCs spawned in and left them to enjoy a day relaxing and playing in the sand and water. You and the girls and Zooble made sand castles and buried Kinger in the sand. Jax tried to join in, but was shooed away by Ragatha for splashing water at them. This was one of the few times you felt pity on the bully because of his momentary downcast expression when he left them.

As you reminisced and stared at your drawings, you were rudely interrupted by a knock at your door. Remembering that Gangle was going to stop by for a visit, your eyes lit up. "Come in!"

Instead of your friend, the door opened to reveal...Jax. He had a smug and slightly frowning smirk and leaned against the door with his arms crossed. "What's up, loser?"

You rolled your eyes in frustration, leaning back against the pillows again. "Get out of my room, Jax."

"I'm not exactly in your room, am I, Princess?" His voice was irritatingly snarky. And that $&!? nickname grated her nerves. At least he didn't call her BJ...

"You're in enough." You glare at his foot that's half in your room.

"Pfft. Just my foot." The rabbit puts his foot in more, earning a harsher glare. Jax snickered and then stepped in completely, flopping on the bed.

"Wha-Hey!" You jolted away from him

The rabbit snickered again and propped his head up with his arms. "What? Why so defensive?"

You pushed at him to try to get him off the bed. "Get off, jerk!"

"Why? It's comfy."

"Ugh!" You finally managed to push him off the bed, satisfied by the startled look on his face the split second before he hit the floor. "Finally." You brushed yourself off with an air of regality.

Jax huffed and sat up, rubbing the back of his head in annoyance. "Not funny." What caught your attention was the faint blush that dusted his cheeks. You chose not to mention it.

"I never said it was, jerk." You eyed him him suspiciously to make sure he didn't try to get back on the bed. He didn't. He just smirked and layed down on his belly, propping his chin up with his hands and kicking his legs up behind him.

"So what're we doing now?" he teased. You huff and turn to ignore him. He just snickered and continued. "The old silent treatment, huh? That's ok. I can talk enough for the both of us." You rolled your eyes and got back to drawing again, facing the other side of the room. You managed to tune him out as he yapped about who knows what. The few snippets of words you did pick up were about new prank ideas or laughing about the malicious things he's done in previous adventures.

"Hey." You jumped when you felt his breath hit the back of your neck. You couldn't help but go slightly red from the proximity and looked back to find yourself inches from his face.

"W-what?" you growled as you scooted a little away.

"Watcha drawing there?" Jax snatched the sketchbook from your hand and looked at it. You yelped in alarm and tried to grab it back.

"Hey! Give that back!" you yelled. He just scoffed and held it out of your reach.

"Just gimme a second." He grinned and flipped through it, admiring your drawings. "You're a pretty good drawing here, Princess. Where are all the drawings of me, though?" He couldn't help but notice lots of drawings of all your friends, and barely any of him.

"I don't want to draw you! Now give it back!" You reached up to try to grab at it, but he avoided you again with a laugh.

"Why not? I'm awfully photogenic, aren't I?" He placed a hand under his chin with a charming grin.

"Absolutely not!" His cocky expression withered to slight pain for just a millisecond, but it was just noticeable enough for you to see it.

"Wow. Rude. I think I'm quite the looker."

You rolled your eyes and managed to grab the sketchbook cover. "Give! It! Back!" He didn't let go. You yanked. With a sickening rip, you fell backwards onto the bed, holding half of the cover. You let out a cry and stared at the cover piece in your hands with wide eyes.

Jax's eyes widened and he looked between the sketchbook in his hand and the cover in yours. "Oh, $!?&..." He dropped the book on the covers. "I did not mean to do that."

You looked up at him with an angry expression, causing him to wince a little. "YOU $!&HOLE! That was my favorite sketchbook!" He just scoffed and rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.

"Whatever. It's just a book. You can fix it or get another one," he grumbled.

"That's not the point! You tore it on purpose!"

"No I didn't! And technically, you tore it!"

You gave him the biggest death glare he ever saw from you. "Get out!"

"But-"

"OUT!" Jax flinched and blinked, and then turned with a grumbled complaint and stalked out of the room. Once he was gone, you looked down at the damaged sketchbook in your hands. It really wasn't a big deal, but it was the reason behind it that mattered! He was an jack@!& who always did stuff like that on purpose.

You finally sighed and put the book and its cover on the desk and headed out of your room. You figured you could hang out with your friends to let off steam. You found Zooble, Gangle, and Pomni in the common area and flopped on the couch glumly. Pomni looked down at you in concern.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" she asked sympathetically, petting your hair gently.

"Ugh," you exclaimed. "Jax tore the cover of my sketchbook." Gangle looked the most offended of the three.

"He what?!" the ribbon girl shouted.

"Yeah...He took it from my hand and then wouldn't give it back, and it tore." Your friends gave you a sympathetic look and Pomni continued playing with your hair.

"Sounds like the kind of @!&$? he is," Zooble said coolly.

"I know...It's just...I really liked that journal." They all sat in silence for a moment before Gangle smiled and spoke up.

"How about we have a sleepover. You know, to help you feel better."

You smiled and nodded. "Sounds good. It's been a minute since we've done that, too."

They headed to Gangle's room and settled in. Half the night, they chatted and told ghost stories until finally going to bed.

The next morning, you woke up with a yawn and stretch. The others were already gone. The night before must have really tired you out. You got up and padded out to your room to change into your casual outfit. As you grabbed the tshirt, you paused, your eyes fixed on your desk. You sketchbook was still there; but it was fixed. The cover was decorated with tape of your favorite colors and expertly reattached to the journal. You picked it up and ran a hand over it carefully. It looked better than new. You carried it out of your room with you and headed to the common area to meet your friends.

"Did any of you fix my sketchbook last night?" They blinked in confusion and looked between each other. Except for Kinger. He just sat there with his usual blank stare. You immediately wrote off him as a suspect.

"Um, I can assure you, us three were with you all night," Pomni said hesitantly, beckoning between herself, Gangle, and Zooble. The two of them nodded in agreement. Ragatha shook her head.

"I was with Kinger all night," she said curiously. Kinger just blinked. You tilted your head.

"Maybe Caine...?"

"Maybe Caine, what?" You jumped as you heard the loud announcer voice behind you. The strange teeth-humanoid ai looked down at you curiously.

"Um..." you started. "Did you fix my sketchbook?"

Caine tapped his chin dramatically. "Hmmm. Not that I can recall. I didn't even know that you draw. Did you fix it, Bubble?"

The bubble popped into existence. "Sure didn't, boss."

"Well that rules the two of us out!"

Caine and Bubble went on yapping between each other loud enough to distract everyone. You looked down at your sketchbook. If all of your friends, Caine, and Bubble didn't fix your sketchbook...that only left one person. You couldn't help but smile to yourself. Despite everything, that stupid rabbit really did care about you...

First Meeting 2.1 - Orphanage Garden

Leaving the main hallway just outside your room, you exit outside of the backdoor of the Orphanage. There's a Garden back here. Where all four flowerbeds were once overgrown and full of weeds, there are now two that are tidy and freshly tilled. As you approach the beds and wonder what could be grown in them, the sound of a huff to your side pulls your attention away. "You can't use those two. If you wanna plant something, use the other two beds." You turn to see a fellow resident orphan, who you recognize as Eris. He had piercing red eyes framed by long dark lashes. He stands with a hand on one hip and a slight scowl on his face. You've known him long enough to know that he just usually looks tired and fed up -- he's actually pretty nice! He pointed to the clean flowerbeds you had just been observing. "I'm using those two. You can use my tools if you want, just give 'em back when you're done." . . . yeah, he was nice..!

First Meeting 2.2 - Dance Studio

Charlie stopped the lesson for a moment to announce that they needed to step out for a moment. They directed you to find a dance partner to practice with while they were away. A lecherous looking man has his eyes set on you. Before he could reach you, you felt another presence to your side. "Oy - they already have a partner, shove off." You felt a hand slip into yours and turned to see a young man in turtleneck leotard and capri sweatpants. Though it took a moment, you were hit with sudden recognition. He was a fellow orphan, Eris! You nodded and took his hand, "Yup, sorry." The man seemed to want to argue, but the combined glares from both you and Eris ran him off. "Hmph. He couldn't be anymore transparent, huh?" Eris turned his red eyes towards you and offered a faint smile. "Didn't know you were interested in dancing. I drop in now and then, so if you need a dance partner and I'm around..." he trailed off, letting the invitation linger in the air. It would certainly be safer to pair up with somebody you already knew when circumstances called for it!

First Meeting 2.3 - At School

You're walking through the hallways at school to your next class. You feel somebody following you. It doesn't take long for you to hear the jeers of some delinquents and put two and two together. Your shoulders tensed as you prepared yourself for yet another tiresome encounter with bullies. As expected, one of the bullies grab your arm and jerk you towards them while the others laugh and cheer their friend on. You prepare yourself for more, to appease or fight, but a sudden fist to your tormentor's jaw loosens their grip upon you. With a gasp, they staggered back. Surprise colored your expression and you whipped your head to the perpetrator. A small boy with a dark fringe and long blond hair over his shoulders stood defiant beside you, an unmistakable anger in his red eyes. "Class is about to start, assholes. Unless you like detention with Leighton you better be on your way." It was Eris, a fellow orphan! Though he warned the bullies about detention, his actions seemed to suggest he was ready to throw down should that not dissuade them. The leader of the group sputtered angrily, but seemed to think twice of pressing this encounter. "Fuck you, freak! And you're in for it next time we see you!" They yelled at you as they turned to flee. Eris took one of his school shoes off and chucked it square to the back of the fleeing bully's head.

First Meeting 2.4 - At The Cafe

You stop by the café for a quick treat. You slide into a booth and a waiter is quick to come to the table, pen and paper at the ready. "Hey, I'll be your waiter. Can I get you started with something to drink?" The voice is familiar and as you turn to face your waiter, you realize that you know this person. A young man around your age with red eyes and an impressive resting bitch face, even on the clock. "Eris! I didn't know you worked here." You greet him. Eris stared for a moment, before offering a small one sided smile. "Plenty of things you don't know. Now c'mon, I don't gotta lot of time to chitchat, what do you want?" You laughed at his brusque words, "Geez, you must be popular with the customers!" He rolled his eyes but the smile stayed on his face. "Yup, I'm the friendliest waiter in the café. Gimme your order and I'll give you my employee discount." Happily enticed by this deal, you hurried up your order and watched Eris as he jotted it down and retreated to the back.

Places you can encounter Eris

The player has the choice to sit with Robin at lunch and may also encounter Eris sitting with him already, only after having met him for the first time. You do not share any classes with Eris.

Working at the café, the dog pound, or the spa. Working these jobs while Eris is also working will reduce your chances of being harassed. If you get into a situation and scream for help, Eris will come to your rescue the next round.

The temple, usually on sundays or monday mornings. You note that he doesn't seem to be praying so much as he is people watching. Sitting next to him to pray reduces stress and trauma. He will often be seen sitting next to Sydney, if Sydney isn't otherwise busy.

Once a month on the second saturday of that month, you can find Eris working with Alex on the Farm. Should you not have unlocked the Coastal Path and you go home with him at the end of the day, Eris will show you the shortcut back to the city, thus unlocking it for future use.

His room at the Orphanage! Like Robin, the player may visit his room and hang out with him. He can help the player study, listen to music together, or be invited to go out somewhere. His hang out areas are 1. The Forest Lake, where the player can chat, swim, take a walk, or meditate with him. Or 2. The Café, where he'll generously pay for your treat and enjoy a deluxe creampuff for himself. You have the chance of meeting other NPCs at the café, which Eris will make different comments on depending on how that NPC views you - giving the player a unique look into how that NPC views the player through an outside lens.

Relationship

Eris will always begin with a Decent view of the player. His default view of the player is "Eris wants to protect you." Eris' unique trait is "Trust", which will build over time with +Love interactions. On the other hand, it will decrease with -Love interactions. It will not passively degrade or increase.

As stated before, if the player should not pursue Eris as a Love Interest and Sydney is also not pursued, the two of them will eventually begin to date. This doesn't bar the player from romancing them later on! But they will not engage in vaginal/penile sex with the player after that, as they are now promised to each other. Should the player force themselves upon either Eris or Sydney, thus breaking their vow, Eris's Trust will immediately be replaced by Fury.

Low Trust: Eris wants to protect you. (Default)

Mid Trust: Eris thinks of you as a dear friend.

Very High Trust: Eris would kill for you.

Mid Fury: Eris feels hurt by you.

High Fury: Eris feels betrayed by you.

Very High Fury: Eris fucking hates your guts.

If dating the player:

Mid Trust: Eris adores you.

High Trust: Eris would do anything for you.

Low/Mid Fury: Eris prays for your salvation.

High Fury: Eris will help you atone...

Love, Lust, Trust (and Fury)

Similarly to Robin, Lust will only begin building after you've set Eris as a Love Interest. At Low Lust, Eris will insist on not being touched by the player but will service them instead. At High Lust Eris will take on a power bottom role unless he's also at High Trust, wherein the player may take the lead in sex.

He doesn't like high exhibitionist sexual encounters, but can be convinced of low exhibitionist encounters (such as giving oral under a desk, where he or the player can't be seen by others).

Similarly to Sydney: If the player wishes to have vaginal sex with Eris they Must agree to be promised to Eris at the Temple. This will bar the player from having penile/vaginal sex with other characters, or risk breaking their vow. The player may ask Eris about this and how serious he is about his role at the Temple, to which Eris will mostly brush it off as just being another job with extra steps. If the player doesn't wish to be promised to Eris, he will still have anal and oral sex with them (alternatively, he can peg the player!). Should the player fuck Eris vaginally without being promised, Eris' Trust mete will instantly drop to 0 and transition into his Fury meter.

If the player should at any point force themselves on Eris, his Trust will instantly plummet into Mid-High Fury. This can only be salvaged by submitting yourself to him for whatever punishment he sees fit to dole out upon you. Consider this a Soft Bad Ending!

At High Fury: Eris' Fury is holy and righteous - having betrayed his trust, he now considers the player just as wretched as everyone else in this G*d forsaken town. If the player was dating prior to gaining High Fury, he will attempt to salvage them. If they weren't dating, he's all together given up on the player and will no longer help them the ways he used to (rescuing them, giving them money, hanging out with them, etc). He's liable to punch the player without warning should they try to talk to him more than once while at High Fury, leading to ++Pain. Fights with Eris are difficult to win, but not impossible. His Fury will lessen each time he wins a fight, but will go up if he loses a fight. A High Fury Love Interest Eris will be just as violent, but will assure the player that he's doing this for their salvation. The player will note that he seems extremely manic, similar to Kylar in his manic state; unlike Kylar, he isn't sorry when he hurts the player and will instead make the player apologize. This will also unlock a maxed out Dominance meter, again similar to Kylar during their manor event.

To Eris, you really were nothing more than an unworthy, insignificant bug to squish underneath his heel. But he relented, and you remembered the good times you shared as well; as friends, as lovers. He may hate you now, but he too seemed to hold onto those memories enough to deem you worth saving. You sputtered for air once his boot fully withdrew. "Who made you fall? Who clipped your wings, love?"> - Yell at him in anger ( ??? ) - Blame Named NPC ( ??? ) - Blame G*d ( ??? )

Eris is small - his official height is 5'1. he will be shorter than your pc unless they're "tiny". he has a flat chest, vagina & 'modest' ass. he takes contraceptives & would suggest the player also take them, just to be safe.

As a boy or a girl, Eris will always be transmasc or transfemme - they will never be cis! by default, he's a transman with a preference for men but he doesn't mind girls!

he fights a lot; his reputation with the cops is bad but he does jobs for Landry sometimes to wipe his record when it gets to cumbersome. despite his frequent detention slips and poor standing amongst other students, he's an exemplary A* student. the other orphans know him to be a big brotherly figure, who they can rely on; he sometimes helps others with lending them cash when they're short on Bailey's extortion rent. the player can also ask for money, to which he'll give them between 50-100 (he must be asked before Fridays).

portuguese heritage. rusty with portuguese but can speak it on a conversational level. has no big opinion on the UK (assuming DOL is in fact based in the UK lol) vs portugal given he wasn't raised in his parent's home country.

his "inner self" is a cat & angel (the angel traits may disappear over time given enough corruption). awareness is high, so he'd be able to notice the player's supernatural traits. he's fine with all of the TFs except demon ones, which cause him to be wary of the player / make small comments on the unholiness of their new traits.

the PC doesn't need to date Eris to ask to sleep in his room, he'll let them do so platonically if they're at a high enough love and trust; this option will also save the PC from any unwanted midnight visitors & give --trauma & --stress.

New orphanage interaction for a group study session with PC, Eris and Robin in Eris' room (he has a table and chairs lol). It offers the same options as doing homework with Robin, but with an additional option to ask Eris to tutor you which will give you a ++ to your chosen subject.

Daisy - What inspired you to create your OC?

Izjik: I'm scared of fish and underwater caves and needed someone to be scared with me

Sepo: Izjik needed a friend and the concept of a mute, aroace, siren man was funny to me

Twenari: Sepo and Izjik needed someone to pull them into trouble, and wouldn't it be great if she was Doctor Strange but a twelve year old girl?

Djek: For a very early draft, Izjik and Sepo joined a mercenary guild, and I wanted a really underwhelming sorcerer who was good at other things on their team. Funnily enough, there was also a knight character in their squad named Destoux. I scrapped him, but the idea returned as Daedryn, the book 2 antagonist.

Astra: I needed a wizard npc to get my dnd players on the right track for a story arc. I wanted her to have a real hick accent because wizards are usually posh and british. Later on, I liked her enough that she got a book.

Mashal: I needed another npc accompanying Astra to have an emotional attachment to the villain. Also, robot. Love robot.

Ivander: I did a sketch this one time of a leperous elf woman wearing a beautiful porcelain mask. That idea morphed until it became a half-alien man wearing an illusion to cover a curse.

Daffodil - Is your OC likeable?

Likable is a pretty subjective thing, so I'm gonna rate them on how much I personally would want to spend a day with them.

Izjik - 9/10: A very solidly likable woman. She's funny, down to earth, could bench press two of me, and loves hiking. The only downside is that she wouldn't get my nerdy jokes.

Sepo - 7/10: Once he warms up to you, he's clever, likes to tease endearingly, and will do most anything for you. He's very much a grumpy older brother. However, that warm-up period is really rough.

Twenari - 8/10: We're both nerds, but in different directions. I think I could have some wonderful conversations with her, and I always love someone I can read in silence with. I do think I'd forget that she's twelve and invite her out to an R-rated movie or something.

Djek - 6/10: Personally, I'm not the type to hang out with life-of-the-party extroverts. I think he and I would get along swimmingly, I just don't think we'd interact much due to different hobbies.

Astra - 5/10: Lord, this woman would get on my nerves. I get that her prickly overconfidence is a defense mechanism (I wrote her that way, after all), but if I had to interact with her as a regular person, I doubt I'd see past it. I'd still think she's undeniably cool, though.

Mashal - 8/10: A genuinely kind and lovely man. He's the type to make you cupcakes because he thinks you're having a bad day or to remember what music you like so he can listen to it later. He only gets points off because he's a bit of a prude and would frown sadly whenever I talk about graffiti plans.

Ivander - 4/10: A fascinating specimen of a person, but god, what an absolute bitch. He's mean to people, no two ways about it. He'd make that middle school bully face while fake-complimenting your shoes to make you feel poor. He isn't lower on points because I appreciate people who are unabashed gossips and have no compunctions about telling me what Kelly from HR is up to when her husband is out of town.

Fallout oc dummmmp :)) it’s gonna be a lot like my Dragon age one just will fallout. Under the cut because there’s a ton, idc if people read it or not I just need to empty my brain because I’ve been thinking about them again.

Zia Miller:

My favorite one, she’s my Fallout 3 character. She’s definitely shy, mostly because of how she was bullied in the vault and how she was basically alone most the time other than her father, Jonas, and Amata (I don’t remember how to spell her name and idc).

Obviously she’s alone most of the time until she gathers her companions. So a little about her vault life, I like to think James (dad) was a bit of a workaholic, he’d spend late nights at the lab for his experiments and such, of course I’m not saying he’s neglecting Zia, he just works a lot. He also pushed Zia to be the best student she could be, she got her smarts from both her parents duh. I like to think instead of her looking a lot like James she looks like her mother (Catherine). She’s obviously close with Jonas, looking up to him, he’s basically like the sibling she never got in which she deserves one but at last, not happening (rip Jonas he was my fav NPC other than Gob). Then Amata, GRRRR I hate her. She is the absolute worse friend ever and no one can tell be otherwise, she makes you deal with Butch and the bully’s then just stands there when you get your butt kicks, honestly, I’m pretty sure Zia was desperate for friends and Amata was really the only option. Finally Butch, in the Vault she hated him, he’s meaaaan to her, bully, out of the Vault it’s the classic enemies to lovers trope that we all love.

Okay, so companions in game I really only traveled with Charon, Dogmeat, Fawkes, Star Paladin Cross, and Butch. I never traveled Clover, RL-33 or whatever its name was, or Jericho. I know a bit about the characters so I’ll just pretend I did end up traveling with them, I just never encountered or had the right Karma requirement to travel with them.

So Charon is obviously the bodyguard, she doesn’t treat him like one, she never asks him to do anything for her so she tries to be nice to him. Zia LOVES Dogmeat, I feel like all my hero’s of the wasteland are just dog people, Jem is an exception. Fawkes is a good companions, he listens and is pretty good in a fight, Zia definitely likes discussing different books or history with him. Cross is like a mom to her, obviously she didn’t know her mom so any motherly figure is good enough for Zia, Cross is also just good to travel with. Butch, like I said enemies to lovers thing going on, I love him a lot he’s just a dork and I like him a lot better when he leaves the vault rather than in it. Clover uhh, she probably gets a little uncomfortable with the pet names, like lover and stuff like that, but she tries and gets Clover to get out of that mind (idk if it works I barely write these two together), she also takes that bomb collar off her because she deserves a little freedom. She is terrified of RL-33, she just doesn’t like getting yelled at and definitely cries when it yells at her :(. Finally Jericho, um, she also rarely travels with him, I feel like she’d like him better if he was less mean and all that but I feel like he might get a little soft spot for her.

I like a little found family, but they all hate each other but get along only for Zia’s sake. Anyways, Zia’s got major survivors guilt after James’ death, rip dad. She’s now got both Mommy and Daddy issues Horray!! I feel like she’d be mad at her dad for leave up until he died, then feel bad for making him die thinking that she’s still mad at him.

Definitely didn’t do the Enclave, so she sided with the BoS. After all, the Enclave is the reason her dad died :)

Courier Six:

Six! Six! Six! The mailman with brain damage! Obviously I love him, love writing angst for this mess of a man. He hides his struggles with his humor and everyone just kinda goes along with it thinking it’s due to the brain damage. I feel like after a while the companions would obviously see through it but that’s only when they get to know him.

So companions, I feel like for all the games is kind of like a found family kind of thing. I feel like the found family started here when Six shoved all of them inside the Lucky 38 and just runs off to cause chaos all over the Mojave. Anyways, so I’ve traveled with all the companions in this one, Arcade, Boone, Cass, Veronica, Lily, Raul, Rex, and ED-E (and of course the dead money DLC companions Dean, Christine, and Dog/God).

So Arcade and Six are kind of together, I like to think that Arcade at first started traveling with Six because he felt bad and knew Six would get himself into stupid shit if he didn’t help him, but then once he started to know the man he started to fall for him or whatever idk how to write people falling in love. Anyways, Six loves Arcade and normally travels with him, it’s also nice to have a doctor to travel with you. Boone, my emo egg, Six feels bad about his wife of course or at least pretends to, he always enjoys having Boone around and whatever Boone says they are the bestest of friends (or at least in Six’s eyes they are). Cass, I’ll be honest I barely traveled with her only to get her quests for EXP anyways, good drinking buddy but Six isn’t normally allowed to drink (Arcade and Raul rule), sometimes Cass manages to sneak Six drinks though. Veronica is awesome in Six’s eyes, loves traveling with her and always finds her amusing, he loves her jokes :), one of the three that helps Six makes important decisions but that’s on rare occasions when there’s a disagreement between Arcade and Raul. Lily is grandma and Six loves hanging out with her, Raul is grandpa and loves hearing his stories, he just lives his grandparents. ED-E he loves, Six just loves everyone I think it’s impossible for him to hate anyone, I think he also just like having ED-E around because it gets a reaction out of Arcade. And Rex, the whole groups favorite dog <3.

Soo Benny. Six doesn’t hate Benny, he barely remembers him, he only knows that’s who shot him because people keep telling him and reminding him. I really think Six is incapable of hating anyone, at least to anyone’s knowledge.

Six has bad memory problems, constantly having to get reminded of things. He also shouldn’t be left to made important decisions, that’s what Arcade and Raul are for. He really just does what they say and call it a day. During Dead Money he listened to all the companions, Dean, Christine, and God.

He decided to do an independent Vegas, the first real choice he made by himself but also because Arcade mentioned it a few times and side it would be better for everyone.

Jem:

She’s the other fnv oc I made a while ago and I just kinda kept her. I feel like if she were a companion she’d be the only one Six wouldn’t get along with, she’s mute (not like Christine, she never gains her voice back) so he doesn’t understand her, she’s also just super mean. But there’s a twist, she’s part of Six’s past which is another reason why they don’t like each other.

I’m still working on the details of the backstory but what I got so far is that Jem and Six were a thing before he made the delivery in which he got shot and never returned. Jem was obviously alone for a bit and thought Six left her or ran off with someone or whatever idk. Anyways, she ended up getting sold to the Legion and was tortured and made a slave, only reason she’s not anymore is because of Six saving her. Obviously he can remember her and she didn’t bother trying to convince him they did know each other.

Oh, she also ends up getting with Boone because I said so and I like it when two angsty people get together. She obviously moved on from Sox a while ago too. I’ll post more when I finalize the backstory.

Nora Colón:

Finally, the mom in which didn’t save her son and watched her husband get killed right in front of her. The woman out of time.

So obviously Nora is a pretty moody as a character, no nonsense type of person. She’s a good person, just with everything that happened before the start of the game and during the prologue it had hardened her and made her an angry and sad person.

I feel like she gets along with all the companions. She also lies to the companions for a long time up until she goes to the Institute, saying that she was just some random person from the wasteland that had her baby stolen, not mentioning anything about her husband. I feel like the only companion to really know what happened was Deacon because he’s weird like that.

So Nick or Peepaw, is her favorite, she finds comfort in him and just enjoys talking with him, he is a massive father figure. Hancock is fun, Codsworth doesn’t like him because of him doing chems and that stuff and he doesn’t want it to influence Nora. Nora finds him okay though, tries not to drink with him though (she’s a recovering alcoholic). Ugh Preston, she likes him just hates how much work he makes her do, she’s a stressed woman and he just stresses her out more with all that settlement work omg. Danse, adores him but will never admit it, she felt so bad during blind betrayal, obviously she saved him without a question. Codsworth she loves, one of the good things about her past and she’s happy he’s still around, even if he is rather picky about what she does. Cait, Curie, and Piper, she likes them all just Cait and Piper is a bit too much for her and Curie… she’s just too nice, what reason does she have to be that nice. Deacon, obviously doesn’t trust him at first but eventually warms up to him, even laughs at a few of his jokes after a while. MacCready she baby’s, motherly instincts kicks in when she’s around him and always scolds him when she catches him smoking (she smokes but he’s also young sooo).

I don’t think she’d have survivors guilt, she didn’t really care for her husband. She definitely hated herself for killing Shaun but the synth boy scared the hell out of her, plus he wouldn’t grow. She’ll always regret not being able to see Shaun grow up without the influence of the institute or his father. Also gets upset when Shaun says his father was just collateral damage even if she didn’t like her husband she wouldn’t say that.

She sided with either the railroad or the minutemen. She doesn’t like the BoS and definitely doesn’t like the institute.

How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)

i don’t know the exact time length, but it took drafting the first couple of fics and then a few weeks of intense mental writing/daydreaming before Ashenivir became really Ashenivir.

because originally he and Rizeth were to be at Sorcere, and Ashenivir was a vaguely evil, manipulative apprentice, sleeping with Masters to get access to more powerful magic (trinkets and tokens of arcane might, as opposed to the nice jewellery and fancy dinners he gets from his canon bedmates). and then the aforementioned daydreaming happened and they were getting married inside a (mental) month and I was like ‘oh i have to change this, this is a love story now.’

Do you have any quotes tied to the character, either from the story itself or from another source that fit them?

i was sitting here going hmmm i can’t think of anything, then I remembered the Peak Rizeth thing he said in Chapter Thirteen the other week:

“I do not have feelings for anyone, least of all Ashenivir.”

and also Kelran’s line about “how are you one of the smartest wizards I know, yet somehow still the stupidest man?” like. that’s it that’s the boy.

What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite?

I love how intense Vizaeth is. he gives me the opportunity to go to 100 on any emotion i want, and to indulge in poetic descriptions of desire, especially more unconventional/darker aspects of desire

however. and i do love him for it but also. he has such intense interiority that writing his fics is an exercise in having to cut how much can happen in them drastically sometimes, because he has Opinions on everything, and there’s so much sensory and emotional detail that has to be applied to Viz-Vision to make it Viz-Vision

…can you believe i don’t have any current ideas of what Rizeth and Ashenivir’s cutesy couple-y in-jokes are? oh my god, what am i even doing. Ashenivir definitely says a kind of bratty lil ‘yes master, no master, three bags full master’ kind of thing when he’s being obnoxious about being given chores. most of the time Rizeth lets him get away with it.

Vizaeth being a chew toy is a meme at this point. He lives in the salad spinner.

Zeth’rinn uses his age as a joke. like ‘I am one hundred and twenty seven years old, i do not need this!!’ it hits different depending on if he’s around elves or short-lived races. also it’s partly in-universe, part out, but because he started as an NPC, my players joked at him that ‘you’re just like your dad. that is not a compliment’, and that is absolutely a running theme. I bully him about it, certain Bregan D’aerthe members (cough Fel’rekt) bully him about it. Oh, and the fact that he’s the reason Jarlaxle has high blood pressure, because then i get to bully both of them at the same time <3

For Rune, there’s still an in-party joke about him having post-combat sex addiction, from when he kept dragging Astarion into his tent after fights to get drunk from so his Urges would calm down. It’s known now that that wasn’t exactly what was happening, but c’mon. He has Minthara and Shadowheart as his closest geographic friend group. they still tease him.

favorite season: definitely starstruck odyssey or neverafter. they are just both so fun, and everyone is having a good time. plus i like a little horror y'know?

fav pc: ylfa!!! she's just like me for real. no but seriously, she is a child growing up into a body she doesn't fully understand, and thinks that how she feels makes her irredeemable. little el is shaking in their boots right now. i also love lapin. he's deadpan but he does the right thing. plus i just loved how zac played him, it was wonderful

fav npc: esther sinclair is my shit!!!! i love her sm, she is a fierce warrior and i love that about her! also AYDA AGUEFORT IS THE BEST!!! just her and fig are adorable, her being besties with adaine, her calling gorgug the finest wizard ever, just beautiful!!

least fav season/pc/npc: i hate biz glitterdew with every ounce of my being. just the "nice guy" energy radiating from him makes me sick. like i had dudes like that interact with me in middle and high school, and they creeped me the fuck out.

a line i like: "i'm the prince of shoeberg, motherfucker!!!" is a great line and it makes me giggle every time i hear it. a very impactful line for me is "you listen to me right here. having panic attacks, that is not a character flaw, do you understand? you are not a coward. you have a goddamn medical condition, all right?" like that makes me want to sob. i watched this season right around the time that i got diagnosed with severe general anxiety and social anxiety, and it hit me that i am not flawed, i just needed some help.

funny bit that makes you laugh: god just the fact that murph cannot for the life of him roll well is hilarious. i also love the hairy baby dance! like the fact that it came back in an adventuring party for starstruck was fucking great.

saddest moment: god when jet is talking to liam and tells him to tell ruby that she did the right thing, and then the light goes out of the locket of the sweetest heart. gut-wrenching dude. or when they're in the nightmare forest, and brennan is talking about how ayda loves fig because she was kind to her, and that she sees her for who she really is. that always makes me tear up dude.

best character arc: dude ragh for sure! like him going from being a bully, to everyone realizing it was because he was getting harassed by his best friend/the guy that he had loved for years? god what a good storyline. or kugrash, sacrificing himself for everyone by eating the bagel?? killer moment.

fav newly announced season: wasn't there one about them blowing up or something? what the actual fuck does that mean mr. mulligan and mr. reich? huh???

who would you like to see on d20 return or for the first time: alex song-xia needs to come back. no ifs, ands, or buts about it! they were wonderful, and i loved how they played conrad. if they don't come back, i will lose my mind.

who would you like to see dm: murph should dm! he's amazing on naddpod (even though i'm only on the very first campaign) and i would love to see his work in the dome. it would be absolutely amazing!!!!

mini you like: preston was so tiny and so cute! i also loved sprinkle, for the same reason. the fact that it literally was just a sprinkle as a mini was great and i loved every second of it

battle set you liked: the battle with the terrible dogfish!! the fact that it came from like the top of the dome????? absolutely astounding. rick perry truly works wonders with minis.

something you hope comes back: ooh, that's a tough one. i did really like the moving part of mentopolis, the little pressure meter thingy. i did also love in acofaf that they got little trinkets! i love a good trinket!!

everyone needs to watch escape from the bloodkeep!!! i love it so so so much, and it has some amazing characters, some amazing minis, great players, and it's dimension 20 history y'all!!

Being An Older Sister Figure to the Party

Headcanons for being an older sister to the party from seasons 1 to 3 (for now, I'll probably add more ideas that pop into my head, especially for season 4). I might even do a part two if someone requests it.

You’ve been babysitting Will since he was nine and as a result you’ve become very protective of him and his friends. 

You and Jonathan have always worked as a team to make Will feel accepted. You started coming over every weekend to watch movies or listen to music with the two of them, making sure that it was stuff that he liked. 

You listen carefully when Will tries to explain D&D to and you smile at the way he talks about “Will the Wise” and the adventures he goes on with his friends. Eventually Will’s party gives you a rundown of how to play and you participate sometimes (usually reading lines for an NPC Mike wrote beforehand).

Dustin and Lucas really like having you around. They always try to impress you with random references and facts that are pretty cringe-worthy but you find them charming. 

Even when Joyce couldn’t afford to pay you after Lonnie left you still stick around because you care about Will so much. It kills you to see how he and his friends get bullied and you try to help any way you can but it doesn’t always work. 

You and Joyce have always been really close and she treats you like a daughter. 

After Will came back from the upside down you visited him every day in the hospital and brought him a box full of his favorite things (art supplies, books, his favorite movies). 

You never really recover from what happened but you try to be a pillar of strength for him. 

When Max moves to Hawkins you quickly get wind of her home life. You make it your mission to make sure she has a place where she can feel comfortable, letting her stay over at your house whenever she needs a break from Billy or Niel. 

Max has never been traditionally “girly” but you help her feel comfortable in her femininity. Painting her nails, braiding her hair, taking her shopping for clothes because her mom is too overbearing, etc. 

She’s always struggled with finding positive female role models but you show her the strength in being vulnerable and tell her that she doesn’t have to act tough all the time.

When Steve Harrington enters the picture you’re a little skeptical. He never seemed like the kind of person who would spend his time worrying about anyone but himself and his asshole friends. You’re especially worried about Dustin trying to emulate him but soon enough you come around. He shows you that he cares about the kids just as much as you do even if its in a different way. You start to bond and anytime he worries about people still seeing him as “King Steve”, you assure him that he’s a great guy who’s doing his best. 

Eleven is your baby. After season two you make a point of treating her like a normal preteen girl. When she grows out her hair you buy her clips and look in every magazine to find hairstyles that she can wear. 

When Lucas and Max get together they break up constantly which leads to Lucas crying on your doorstep begging you to help him get her back. Lucas insists that he did it himself because he’s just that smooth (and he’s embarrassed about blubbering in your arms about missing Max). 

When Dustin comes back from camp you’re the only one who believes him about Suzie being his girlfriend. You even talk with her on Cerebro and quickly become pen pals. 

After season 3 you like to keep tabs on Erica. Mostly just to check if she’s having any problems sleeping after what happened on the Fourth of July, or sometimes just to hear her rant about her D&D character. 

You and Mike have an interesting relationship. He’s been Will’s best friend for as long as you remember and has been one of the only people who’s ever made him feel normal but at the same time he’s put that boy through the emotional wringer. 

He annoys you a lot of the time but at the end of the day you know he’s a good kid and who doesn’t have a lot of love in his life. 

Sometimes Mike comes to you about stuff he doesn’t tell anyone else. He sees you as one of the only older people in his life who won’t scold him for his mistakes. You always tease him or set him straight but at the end of the day you let him know you care.

You're the first person Will ever comes out to, and you make sure to guard that secret with your life.

At the end of the day all the kids love you and feel like they can come to you for anything, especially end-of-the-world stuff <3.

Honey Lemon Soda Episode 1 Review - Soaked In Lemon Soda

A lot of shoujo fans have been hyping the anime adaptation of Honey Lemon Soda. It’s actually quite a best-seller in recent times as it sold 12 million copies and even had a live-action movie adaptation a few years ago. However, shoujo manga fans have one fear when it comes to anime adaptations: the animation. It’s actually Russian roulette for shoujo fans when a popular shoujo manga gets an anime adaptation as the anime quality can be really good or really bad, depending on the studio. Last year, I watched A Sign of Affection where the animation was pretty despite it not being from a well-known studio and then there’s A Condition Called Love with its very subpar animation created from East Fish Studio. The fact that Honey Lemon Soda got an anime adaptation by JC Staff, a rather well-known animation studio, does make fans happy as it means that it would be getting good animation quality and for someone who likes art, I think it’s visually appealing!

Honey Lemon Soda is a story about first-year high school student Uka Ishimori who was bullied back in middle school for being stone-faced and having slow reactions to everything; she was nicknamed “Stone” because of that. The bullying has caused her to become very withdrawn and timid. While contemplating on the high school of her choice, she stumbles upon Kai Miura on the streets who suggests she go to Hachimitsu High School because he’d also be going there. Moved by the first instance of kindness from someone in her life, she makes the decision to forego her first choice school and go to Hachimitsu in hopes of overcoming her past and change for the better.

Yes, it does have the typical shoujo story cliches with a very introverted protagonist meeting a knight in shining armor who is her total opposite and becomes enamored with him. However, it is a very human story too with Uka very low self-esteem due to her parents’ overprotectiveness and the results of being bullied. Sometimes, these things can be very vital in a child’s development. If parents are overprotective, it gives a child a sense that they can’t do anything by themselves and grow to becoming overly dependent on them even as an adult even to the point that they can’t even make their own decisions without their parents’ permission. Bullying can also affect a child’s psyche in that it makes them feel very depressed and anxious. I actually can relate to Uka in the sense that I grew up with a very overprotective mom (though I can still make my own decisions as an adult) and that I have been bullied not in school but at church. I can totally get why Uka acts the way she does because of that—she believes she has no sense of self, but meeting Kai helps her believe that she does.

Regarding her love interest Kai, he’s actually not a red flag at all. I like that he doesn’t coddle Uka at all and is very blunt with her. He’s straightforward and speaks his mind, things Uka lacks, but they’re handled positively. Because he’s straightforward, he’s not hesitant on calling Uka’s passiveness out. He’s a good guy because he wants her to speak up and express herself. It makes me wonder if he had experienced similar things in the past or if he feels empathy for her in a way. I am curious to know more about him.

The other characters got me curious too. Ayumi feels like the girl who’d become her closest friend. I do wonder what Takamine and Seto’s roles will be in the story. I just hope there won't be a love triangle—the last thing I need in a romance anime is a love triangle. The bullies feel textbook—they better not get redemption arcs and just be NPCs.

The voice cast for the main characters are all ones that are decently popular. Kana Ichinose is definitely a rising star as she won Best Actress Award in the 18th Seiyuu Awards and she was in popular shows like Gundam and Frieren. I like her voice, though. Shougo Yano, on the other hand, is actually going against typecast for his role as Kai. Like when I saw his name on the cast list, I was actually surprised. He’s usually typecasted as soft and cute characters like Mafuyu from Given or cheeky cuties like Reo from Paradox Live—in a sense, he usually voices cuties, so for him to voice an ikemen using a more masculine tone compared to his more known high tone feels a little jarring, but I’m all for voice actors showing off different voices! For the other three, I’m the least familiar with Miyari Nemoto. I’ve heard Taku Yashiro and Shunichi Toki in many different animes, so I’m familiar with those two—it’s nice to hear Reo and Hokusai be in another anime together—I like their dynamic in Pararai. Okay, to be honest, out of the voice cast, the most well-known are actually Uka’s parents who are voiced by Ai Kayano and Kazuyuki Okitsu.

The animation and music are good. I think it’s been a while since I last saw a shoujo anime where the heroine’s eyes are humongous, but I like how they’re colored. Her eyes are yellow like Kai’s hair to showcase the theme color, which is lemon yellow. I really like how the opening and ending are animated though. The opening is beautiful while the ending has a lot of characters and movement that it feels like a school environment.

I do think this could be a good shoujo romance story as the first episode doesn’t tell you everything at once—the beauty of these types of shows is learning more about the characters the more you read/watch. If I am allowed to say one more thing before I end things here, it’s that I really like Uka’s room—all those plants make it very cozy and gives the room personality! my Thoughts on like, normals character and where he's going btw are highly based on his own flaws and like. idk ive kinda seen both sides (normal is a baby and must be protected versus normal needed this ego blow because he was getting too into his head) and I think it's maybe more nuanced than that? cause the thing is. normal is RIGHT to think that his side of things are the morally correct side. he's the one whose seen what the doodler wants and fears and where it came from, he had more perspective on the quest than any of the other teens and I'm not arguing otherwise because it'd be silly. it's HOW he's going about it that puts him firmly into the, "teen character is going to fuck up because they're a teenager" category: as much as he does genuinely try, he's not good at connecting to other people and he does put himself on this pedestal of "i know better and therefore im the best" that isn't exactly the MOST healthy mindset, as a self-proclaimed leader.

that being said, I absolutely understand where he's coming from in this episode in a very. he is hurting and lashing out kind of way? we know why scary is acting the way she is (her own past with her dad + willy trauma=she's still looking for the trauma that justifies her inner darkness) and we know why link is acting the way he is (he's hurt and scared and he never asked for this and he just wants to ensure that he's not the one actively hurting people, he never forgave himself for the casualties of ep2 and the last thing he wants is to add more) and one of normals flaws is his pride, the way he's so sure of what he's doing, he's the best for this and of COURSE it's the right way, he knows that!!!

but he can't empathize with scary right now. very specifically he cannot empathise with her because he can't trust her. and if he can't trust link he can't empathize with him either. normal does view himself as the reason the team is together, and I think that's why he was suddenly on board with kicking scary out when before he was so deadset on helping her: if he personally can't trust anyone, does he really have a team he can lead?

that being said, the shots taken on him recently have been sooo low in comparison. scary has done nothing but bully normal since they reunited. link has been sassy and snippy with normal even since ep26 and it's only gotten worse. normal and taylor don't really have much of a relationship outside the teen friendship circle in general. hermie is angry at normal- and I kinda agree with will that it should NOT solely be up to the players to remember anthony's fucking npc, as funny as it is. as much as I want normal to listen and understand and empathize with scary and link both, it IS a little frustrating when in comparison normals been fucking tanked at every opportunity by the other players- and link's line to normal after he found out about hero actually made me so upset on normal's behalf like dude.

I'm still on the boat that normal should get and deserves a mild villain arc. I desperately want him to team up with hermie and go to the goofs realm alone. I think it might be good for him- both to have a solo adventure with hermie and to have a solo adventure in general, so he can find out why he loves having friends so much. and I think him going through a villain arc would be so narratively compelling, because again, he's not WRONG about the path they should be taking: it isn't underestimating links personal trauma to admit that normal is actually right and he's just so bad at following through. it's just kinda a little tiring sometimes when normal actually does his best to keep the group together and it doesn't work (looking at episode 27 in particular) or when he tries to bury that oak family generational anger the way sparrow and henry do. let him be angry!!!
