While Philip doesn't have the curse for this AU because he hasn't asked for that kind of power due to them both being kids currently and his goals aren't broad enough yet to need that kind of power-

I would say if he did have the curse Collector would think it's some cool second form and would probably would want to piggy back ride it!

As for Caleb, when they first met him they didn't mind him since he was Philip's brother but after the shattering of the mirror? Yeah, they do not trust him at all.

In fact he thinks that he's a much better brother for Philip than Caleb is.

(under the assumption this wasnt a game thing that happened (pretend that sentence made sense i havent slept)) the obvious route here would be lime since lime kernel sprite but that's Boring so let's consider our options

the halfway point between gold and violet blood would be roughly jade depending on which hemospectrum you're using which fits with the green and is pretty fun

or going just on color olive would also be a strong contender tbh

i think a violet mutant (same way karkat's red is mutated lime) is my personal favorite tho

dB/dB2 Rambles #1

Welcome to the first of many rambles! --- The game itself consistently mentions the presence of "color energy", which is repurposed and used to make Blob's power-ups and can even be used in a negative light (ie the Hypno Ray). The question is: what exactly is color energy? It's supposedly what makes up Raydia and its inhabitants, from the smallest insect to the largest of Raydians. The trees, water, dirt, roots, and perhaps even the planet's core are created or contain this strange energy. Color energy, when used properly, can create beautiful things. Blob's power-ups (more specifically his rainbow power-up), and even the transform engine, are good examples of these. However, color energy is volatile. It is unpredictable and wild, and one wrong move can cause it to erupt and explode, or give you a result you weren't quite looking for.

Judging by the beams of light erupting from each major landmark in dB2, it's safe to assume that color energy can be split into different colors (ROYGBP and brown). In its purest form, perhaps it's white? Maybe it acts like a prism, where it can split off into these different colors, varying in color energy levels.

This shows in the sentient residents of the planet: Raydians. All Raydians, big and small, vary in shade and hue, their colors as vibrant as the bright beams of energy shining from the landmarks. Their colors are a different combination of color energy; no two Raydians are the same shade. You can have two green Raydians beside each other but you can quickly tell the difference. Perhaps one of them is more yellow than the other. Or maybe one of them is leaning toward a cool teal. Even though the combination of color energy makes them green, the levels of color energy are never truly 50/50. "Are you blue or purple? Are you yellow or orange" are common questions amongst the species. Sometimes some colors look so similar to each other because of the levels of energy within them. Do you remember those crayons that came in that 64 Crayola pack? Do you remember all of those colors? Red-violet, yellow-orange, red-orange, etc? You can get colors like that purely based on the levels of color energy. It makes them unique in a way.

But there is another question: how come Blob can't be yellow-green? Or blue-violet?

Well, just because we haven't seen him turn these colors in the games doesn't mean that he can't. Game-wise, the developers probably wanted to keep the game simple. Lore wise? Those were the only colors provided to him. With the right amount of paintbot mixing, he could be a nice yellow-green or blue-green. It just requires a lot of mixing on his part. It's like mixing a paint can.

ok one last post. addressing seishou effortlessly beating teikoku 10-0. which is stupid as hell LOL but bc theyre only using that to introduce seishou as this brand new powerhouse team that came out of nowhere and is insanely skilled.

because the thing is teikoku falling apart without kidou isnt the issue here. its game canon (ie2) and it makes sense with their theme: teikoku as a team is a well-disciplined army who never question their commander. theyre not AS dependent on direct orders as the cyborg-like mikage sennou, but they definitely do not play freely like other teams. their play style depends on following kageyamas orders and kidous instructions. you take out the main cogs in the teikoku machine and the team falls apart. what are the foot soldiers gonna do without orders?

so in that way i dont mind that seishou beat them. its true that after kidou leaves theyd be massively disorganized and unless someone steps up to fill kidous role as their leader while hes away OR they change their playstyle entirely, theyre gonna have a hard time keeping up w their reputation. (and both are things kazemaru is not suited to help them with, so lol. why is he even here.)

HOWEVER. the problem lies with aress timeline. ares takes place a year after the og s1, and from what i can tell the reinforcement committee members finished their year in raimon before transferring for the next one. so 1) seishou are that strong on their own out of nowhere, since kidou hasnt really done anything with them yet?? 2) teikoku had a year to improve & change and... did not?

INTRODUCING: the idea that the reinforcement committee members transfer pretty soon after the whole thing is thought up, meaning for kidou he transfers to seishou in the middle of his second year. which would leave him time to train the then seishou first years into strong players, strong enough to take on teikoku the year after. <- and also gives seishou more substance than just being kinda there while haizaki steals the show. i rave about haizakis relationship w kidou all the time but i think seishous relationship w kidou should be developed a little more, and id like to see him earn their deep trust and respect by spending a little more time with them!! and really helping them grow which is why he was sent there in the first place!!

also of course 10-0 is ridiculous, and the claim that teikoku was exhausted while seishou didnt even break a sweat even more so... but i think w this set up it would be fine and not like, humiliating and reputation-crushing for teikoku to lose to them lol, esp if theyre still adjusting to their new playing style (though by then they wouldnt be fumbling around anymore like right after the og FF. its just a little rough still)

Its so hard to tell because I have alot of trouble picking up on typing styles and little quirks of how people talk but

I think a lot about how every virtue is a flaw in another situation. how every flaw has it's place, two sides of the same coin that lead to salvation or destruction

stubbornness akin to loyalty, to conviction, to endurance and determination yet also to close-mindedness, procrastination, avoidance

and then even those layers are in and of themselves double sided

I hope I can use what I inherited for good; I hope I can use what I choose for healing

I had no idea Tango felt the same lol, but I guess it doesn’t really surprise me either? It also doesn’t surprise me that some people see Create as ‘near enough’ to vanilla, it’s basically just more advanced redstone. Story-wise, it could be seen as future technology, and I love applying story onto different elements of Minecraft. I just happen to disagree that it’s ‘vanilla enough’ to fit in with the story. Maybe this series will change that, I’ll definitely watch everyone’s first episodes at the very least. I’m super open to being proven wrong, I mostly put the disclaimer earlier because of my previous track records with modded series (I’m only like 20 episodes into Iskall’s singleplayer Vault Hunters series, for example).

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
