Since I'm watching X-Files for the first time, here's my ratings of all Season 1 episodes for personal reference mostly:
Episode 1 (Pilot) : 9/10. Great Pilot. Loved Mulder here and the whirlwind Scully is being pulled into. The case isn't too exciting, though, but we get a good sense of the show's overall themes.
Episode 2 (Deep Throat): 5/10. Not too memorable? Was okay.
Episode 3 (Squeeze): 7/10. Eerie enough and some actual Supernatural stuff going on. Not too vague, but instead we get to see the Supernatural creature in action.
Episode 4 (Conduit): 6/10 just made me feel sad for Mulder. The case itself isn't too interesting.
Episode 5 (The Jersey Devil): 9/10. Interesting af. Some funny moments and the parallel between Scully trying to navigate her private life vs Mulder going all in is too entertaining. Loved it.
Episode 6 (Shadows): Umm. I did not gaf. 3/10?
Episode 7 (Ghost in the Machine): 6/10 pretty cool.
Episode 8 (Ice): why/10 you can't beat the OG. that scene with Scully and Mulder in the tiny room was hot though x
Episode 9 (Space): idgaf/10 boring
Episode 10 (Fallen Angel): š©/10 this was the shit. mulder is insane and I'm living
Episode 11 (Eve): 6/10 bit too crazy for me bc wtf? ate
Episode 12 (Fire): 7/10 love a little drama, the case itself was mediocre though
Episode 13 (Beyond the Sea): 9/10 literally brilliant I loved every minute.
Episode 14 (Gender Bender): 6/10 had some good scenes but the overall plot was too ? vague for me ig?
Episode 15 (Lazarus): 7/10 kinda camp. kinda funny.
Episode 16 (Young at Heart): 8/10 ridiculous!!!! loved it
Episode 17 (E.B.E.): š©/10 Scully and Mulder can only trust each other. I love it.
Episode 18 (Miracle Man): 8/10 Loved the miracle kid, bery interesting character. The real killer was obvious but I still enjoyed this episode a lot.
Episode 19 (Shapes): 4/10 I kinda didn't care
Episode 20 (Darkness Falls): 0/10 fell asleep
Episode 21 (Tooms): 7/10 interesting bc I like that they revisited an earlier case but I wasn't captivated saldly
Episode 22 (Born Again): 6/10 a bit ridiculous but enjoyable
Episode 23 (Roland): 8/10 I liked Roland's character a lot.
Episode 24 (The Erlenmeyer Flask): š©/10 I wanna say ten out of ten this was a great season finale. Obsessed.
#the x files#fox mulder#dana scully#i just got started on s2 buttt#i wanted to share my thoughts on s1 ig#enjoyed it a lot considering i initially got into the show bc i (a lesbian) thought fox mulder was really hot LMAO

i do not ship harringrove IN THE SLIGHTEST. stommy & stonathan r just kinda funny to me,but steddie has my heart. buttt the thing is,all these guys have deffo played a huge part in steve figuring out that heās into guys. maybe at one point,he found himself looking at jonathan a little too long. or when tommy was with carol, and heād try to make some sort of ābros over hoesā type comment so he could spend more time with him. or when billy got a little too close under the pretense +
oh. OH. I am so glad someone is giving me the opportunity to go on my long winded rant about how Jonathan was actually Steve's gay awakening, like canonically, because trust me I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS.
In s1, when Steve picks up the nail bat that becomes his signature--who was holding it only seconds before? And who does he use it to rescue from the demogorgon? Jonathan fuckin' Byers. I think it's so important that Jonathan can't protect himself and when Steve does it for him--not protecting Nancy, but protecting his supposed rival for her affections--it becomes one of his defining characteristics for the rest of the show.
In s2, when Murray is talking to Nancy and Jonathan he says "you've got the important shit: shared trauma!" The night before, Nancy and Jonathan had admired their matching demogorgon-summoning scars. Steve doesn't have a scar but he was there too--he has that same shared trauma. We already know how it affected the way he feels about Nancy; I think it's reasonable to assume it gave him some pretty strong Emotions (TM) about Jonathan too.
In s4, when Steve and Nancy are talking and he says "you gave my head the biggest thump of its life." Yeah, you know who actually gave his head that thump while he beat Steve's ass (starting the trend of Steve Harrington Can't Win a Fight)? Jonathan. Fucking. Byers.
Steve is wildly obsessed with him, too. It's more than just "he's the weird kid," it's more than just "he's my girlfriend's guy best friend," it's this whole additional layer of masculinity and pretenses and wanting to be tough but also being gentle (I know Steve paid for that camera Nancy gave Jonathan for Christmas, I just know it) that is just...so queer coded.
Some day, far in the future, Steve Harrington is going to sit straight up in bed, drenched in a cold sweat, and rub his hands down his face while he goes "did I have a crush on Jonathan?!" And then Eddie will sit up in bed next to him and simply say "Yes, sweetheart, now go back to sleep."
I don't even ship Stonathan, honestly--I think they would be a wildly poorly matched pair, their respective weirdnesses don't compliment each other like Steddie imo--but, like, the Duffer brothers have so aggressively bisexual coded Steve with the Steve/Nancy/Jonathan love triangle. I also personally love the Jonathan is transmasc HC and I could so easily see s1 Steve explaining his feelings for Jonathan away by misgendering him, trying to rationalize that he's "still straight," whereas by the end of s4 Steve is like, yep, Jonathan was the first boy I had a crush on.
Anyway. This is almost definitely NOT what you were hoping for when u sent this ask in so. please feel free to send more/other stuff and I'll try to write for it.
#rambles#blurbs#stonathan#Steve Harrington/Jonathan byers#Steve Harrington x Jonathan byers#I don't think this is technically fic idk its more the rantings of a lunatic#I have clearly spent too much time thinking about this already#Jonathan Byers#Steve Harrington

Just finished binging s1 and 2 of bridgerton thanks to your recent posts lol! I think s1 was better as far as over all storyline buttt s2 had a much better love story. Daphne/Simon had me hooked at first but started to miss the mark after they got married. I think my main issue with them was Simon tbh, I feel like he just didnāt deliver as much as I hoped for as far as the pinning goesā¦. Just didnāt feel like he was willing to fight for daph as much as she was for him. We didnāt even get an actual l love you from him! While Anthony absolutely blew it out of the park! You could actually feel the need and longing between kanthany! However I do feel like both seasons kinda fell short about midway through the seasons, Simon/daphneās story just fell through shortly after marriage and I wish the whole engagement with edwina would have been settled around episode 5 so we could have gotten more kanthany instead of it becoming rushed in the end. And honestly the whole featherington plot line in s2 was unnecessary tbh. Over all though Iām excited for s3! I wonder which siblings going to be next!
Ahhh yay glad you watched! Itās such a fun show. Escapism at its finest honestly.
I definitely agree with a lot of your points! I think I personally prefer S2 as for what I would like to sit down and watch simply for the romance and family dynamics, but I know what you mean because a lot of the storylines in S1 felt harder hitting? Almost? Delving more into the reality of being a woman with no rights and the class divide stuff. Iām hoping a bit of that comes back with the Benedict and Sophie storyline (Iām not a book reader, but I know enough to guess this). And that Benedict will be next like the books because i donāt think Polin is ready to go there yet.
Totally agree about the Featheringtons not needing the amount of side plot S2 gave them! I think Polly Walker is just fantastic and outrageous (and I like Penelope) so I donāt mind them having a bit, but I could for sure have done without a lot of the Prudence stuff. I also didnāt care about the Mondrich plot literally at all. And I feel you on them losing it a little in the back half of both seasons. Iām allowing a little more leniency with S2 because I do truly believe that part of that came from them knowing theyāre going to have room to explore married kathony in later seasons, but I also would have very much not minded the edwina and Anthony plot getting wrapped up a little bit faster. As well as a smidge more kathony screentime in general (out with prudence and Mondrich in with kathony). I will, however, always maintain that I thought the Daphmon conflict in the last three episodes of S1 was quite stupid lol.
And hands down, Anthony as a romantic lead >>> Simon. Simon was fine and he really did well with certain bits, but a pathetic man pining is literally everything I want in a romance and Anthony delivered lmao. I couldnāt have asked for better!
#Anthonyās conflict felt more believable that simons and that helped him a bunch#it was also the blatant lack of communication from Simon for no reason that had me annoyed#ask#Bridgerton

hc, maybe even a prediciton of what the future seasons might consist of?? amity HAS to join the emperors coven, like yes she dreamt of it for so long because she was blinded by the false image of strength, justice and power the emperorās coven convey but ever since she met luz and that whole thing with eda happened itās just logical that amityās on luzs and edas side and shares their negative opinion regarding the emperorās coven. buttt you canāt really say she would be too happy about it? her parents pushed her to join the emperorās coven ever since she was a little kid, she was put under immense pressure to be perfect, heck she even got tutored by miss lilith clawthorne herself! Her childhood consisted of stress and pressure from her parents, and that stress was now practically pointless because her pseudo-idea of āāthe perfect, fair emperorās coven turned out to be wrong, rather, there is more to the coven than that, it has a deeper, darker sense. Obviously Amity is going to help Luz and Eda, but iām positive that her parents arenāt going to be psyched about her abandoning āherā (more like their) dream of a future in the emperorās coven. Thatās where the whole āAmityās parents arenāt going to accept Luzā thing starts, not because she is a human or āweakā but because she probably keeps Amity from joining the emperorās coven. Maybe her parents will make her join the coven by force?? and Luz would have to āsave herā?? Or which in my opinion is much cooler Amity joins the emperorās coven by choice, training to take over Lilithās place and now Eda and Luz got a guy on the inside, kinda like a spy lol. If I remember corretly, Dana did kinda confirm that students have to choose their coven asap after graduating, so I think this hc wouldnāt happen soon. Maybe after a timeskip in Season 3/4/5.., maybe after Luz went back to the human world for a while and comes back to the boiling isles to see that Amityās joined the emperorās coven... who knows who knows
Tl;dr: Amity might join the emperorās coven because her parents made her do it, they seem to be control freaks lol, or because she wants to help Eda and Luz and tries to get all bestie with the emperorās coven just to spy on them
Heyo friend! I took ages to answer you and IĀ“ m sorry for it, I wanted to save this to ask for a time closer to the S2Ā“s releaseā¦ and here we are!
I do not have the power to say this is āwrongā or ārightā, and besides, you made this guess before any S2 trailers, so I'll try to correlate the (official) info we have by now with your HC ~remember, this is simply my opinion!~:
I believe that Mrs and Mr Blight have greater reasons to want their children in the Emperor's Coven. They're a prosperous family but we didn't know exactly how they profited - until now. If I'm interpreting it right, they're pioneer engineers centred in building - and selling - technologies that enhance the uses of magic in a ratherā¦ inorganic way. And you need only a look at the Emperor's coven to know who's their biggest client, and likely, the most influential financier. So, having their kin join the EmperorĀ“s coven is not just a matter of status, but also a guarantee of their commitment to Belos, as well as their own business ~and richness~. And it might be a stretch, but the Blight family couldĀ“ve been one of BelosĀ“ earliest allies, helping him build the reputation and providing the material ways of growing his image - and thanks to that, they have this evergreen, business-driven, ideological deal;
And that adds even more to the whole drama of Amity going against her parents expectations (a vital part of her arc, getting free of others expectations and her own fears) and, as you said, AmityĀ“s parents would get mad at Luz - and her friends - for disturbing their life plans. But I do believe that the fact Luz happens to be a human, a āwildā witch, a troublemaker and a user of ancient magic (quite the opposite of their life work, which could lead to discussions about what is obsolete and to what extent technology is a synonymous to progress, etc) contributes to Mr and Mrs BlightĀ“s disaffection towards Luz.
Now that I Ā“m thinking about it, if there was to be a two-faced spy among the Blights it would be the Twins, not Amity. IĀ“m pretty sure she could take the role, but her strong sense of fairness and her devotion to the people she ~actually~ care for could be critical to her disguise. The Twins, on the other hand, are experts in playing illusions ~literally~. They would do it seamlessly, to the point we would almost believe they're following their parents lead/ support Belos, but a wink from one of them and weĀ“ll know who they're fighting for. I'm not discarding the possibility that they actually serve Belos, either because of their parents, or their own beliefs (Belos can be manipulative), but in the end I believe they will join the Owl HouseĀ“s crew.
Although it would be suuuper cool to see a future timeline, due to the series size (3 seasons, each with an average of 20 episodes) I'm not entirely sure it will happen. Sure, we had a Swap episode, so rooting for a Future self/Future Traveling plot does not seem so off reality. But then again, a lot can happen in those episodes, so let's keep our fingers crossed! And of course, always root for what is best for the storyĀ“s progression!
Those are the points I found. There are more implications here, but one point is true: there will be a lot of drama in the Blights family! Can Ā“t wait for this weekend!

Isu 4
Plot of bbb galaxy s2 ep4, spoiler ahead ;)
1. The issue starts with adudu replicating the portal ochobot created and teleport to rimbara the same day that the gang arrived there.
2. The gang + qually are now heading towards the top of the sky coconut tree to get the third ingredient: sky coconut.
3. Otw, Fang spaceship( He names it lily lol) suddenly having a break down, and they had an emergency landing on the land. Fang then decided to stay behind and repair the spaceship while the others will climb the tree. The tree is extremly tall btw hence its name 'sky coconut tree.'
4. Just as they are about to climb the tree, an orang utan-like man stop them, his name is prof. Utan. He is someone who takes care of the coconut tree and also tries to preserve its fruits from being taken away by other aliens as the sky coconut is an endangered fruits.
5. Buttt, he allows bbb to take it because he is doing so under Gaharum's order. The prof. knows Gaharum. However, they still need to fill up some documents and submit the doc at the centre on top of the tree.
6. So they started climbing until they reach the top. (Qually is already gone by this time) There is only one sky coconut at the top of the tree. Just as gopal wants to submit the documents, they are interferred by Adudu and probe who finally finds bbb after 3 days searching on Rimbara.
7. These two gremlin thought that the coconut is a powersphera -.-, so they start fighting over it. I wont rlly describe he fighting scene cause this will be too long then :')), just wants to point out that adudu defeat yaya and ying by tricks, and qually who went missing earlier, comes in the middle of the fight and protect Gopal with his wok-like shield.
8. So Qually submit the document, and prof Utan hands over the only coconut to him. Just then, Fang arrives with his spaceship and shouts for them not to give the coconut to qually
9. He points out that Qually is the one who sabotages his spaceship! >:v (I know it! He was so sus..) Qually did so by shoving his spatula into the engine system (i think?).
10. Gopal doesnt believe at first (He's very close with Qually and even claim him as his bff) but later on Qually himself reveal, that he joins them just to snatch the ingredients. He runs away from the scene with the coconut leaving gopal looking so sad at the last panel *cry*
notes: there are panels that throw shades on bbb galaxy s1 intro and i found it to be rlly funny sksksk, i might post it later if I feel like it
Imo, the fighting scene is rlly nice, although yaya and ying still got sidelined, at least they are panels of them puting up quite a fight. The only reason they lose is because adudu plays tricks against them. Bbb fighting scene is great too, duri seems to be the highlight hMmm ;D the pacing is great too, Qually's betrayals was expected but i did not expect gopal to look so sad hghh
