First Date Headcanons with David Webster

So you see, of course our favorite Harvard boy will take you to the fucking aquarium (Cliche and obvious? Yes. But like where else, I mean seriously??)

When you first got together the first thing he promised you was an aquarium date, and well looky here, he fulfilled that promise.

Ok, so y’all pull up to the building and you can see waves of literal euphoria coming out of him. He’s just so adorable and he has a little bit of pep in his step when walking towards the entrance. 

And then every time he walks, his poofy brown hair bounces up and down and the way the suns hits it is *chefs kiss*-

Even before you get to the entrance, your boyfriend is gushing about marine animals. They were short descriptions of a multitude of animals but they were so detailed and captivating, you couldn’t help but listen.

However, his voice was a bit distracting at times and you could find yourself zoning out while he talked. 

A look of awe is plastered on your hand and your hold on his hand tightens ever so slightly.

It’s safe to say that you learned more about ocean animals in those brief moments than you ever could from your years in school.

Y’all bust in the aquarium like the iconic couple you two are (I’m so proud of you) and boy oh boy is David cute as hell.

Here he is-- a grown ass man who went to Harvard and literally served in WW2-- looking like a child discovering a shiny rock. You love it-

David is indecisive as hell and he had no idea where to go. He turns over to look at you with those beautiful eyes of his and you can’t help but smile.

You two pull up those maps of the building and you two plan out the rest of your date. Your fingers trail over the paper, trying to figure out where to go first.

You two make up this intricate schedule and you knowingly look at each other when your eyes find where the shark exhibit was.

But at the beginning of your date Web held your hand as you two viewed various wildlife vibin in the water behind the glass.

You were in heaven when you saw how the water played so beautifully on the your boyfriend’s face. 

David was oblivious to how you stared at him in awe and you were oblivious to whenever he did the same to you.

You named a crab after Johnny and a particularly cute clownfish was named after Babe. You two had a heated discussion on who Winters was. 

(Y’all never settled on anything. Web thought he’d be a red snapper. You personally think he’d either be a blue marlin or a swordfish.)

He called you his angelfish and you hit him on the arm for being so cheesy. After that he said that you were a flame angelfish instead and you could only playfully roll your eyes at him.

Get prepared for literally a shit ton of fish trivia this boy will never shut up and he just wants to gush about it to you, it’s very wholesome and sweet actually.

He knows a lot because he either has a whole 100000 page book about the sea printed on his brain or something or because he has the literal ocean in his eyes.

Look I can’t tell at this point-

The two of you were going to every single exhibit this aquarium had to offer and there was no stopping you.

Sadly that intricate schedule is unceremoniously yeeted out the window because when you head over to the next place you're stopping at you two see something else you like and head there instead.

“(Y/N)! I thought we were seeing the penguins next-”

“But Web, the seals! Look at the seal exhibit!”

You’re gripping his arm and looking at him with your stunning face, how could he say no to you? 

So he lets an exaggerated sigh and nods his head as he tries to contain his grin.

You two went over to the seal exhibit instead kasjhd- Y’all still got to see the penguins, it’s all ight.

While gawking at the beautiful fish species you saw, Web seemed to know a heaping mount about a lotta of em. The facts he didn’t tell you earlier he says now and you’re just like “look at my smart Harvard boy go-”

The amount of times you wanted to just make a scrapbook that is dedicated to this day alone is nearly impossible to keep track of. The both of you wanted to cherish this aquarium date for all eternity.

Cause literally there’s this one moment where you’re looking over at tropical fish and Web was reading the description. Oh what would happen next-

As you’re admiring the way the small fishes swam gracefully Web legit goes on a rant on how they got some information on the Tiger Barb wrong.

This adorable idiot I- I can’t even at this point.

But Web holds you in his arms as he buries his face in your hair while looking at fish send tweet. 

He also wraps his arms around your waist and he rests his head on top of yours. He makes comments about some of the fish and you just sink into his embrace.

Also one thing you did keep from your schedule after not following it was visiting the petting pool after you two ate lunch.

When I say that you two nyoomed over to the petting pool area I mean y’all nyoomed-- Like full Speirs mode on-- because Jesus Christ this is an aquarium and David will obviously take you to the petting pool.

You two arrived there and my Lord you swore that David was holding back a squeal. The two of you immediately rolled up your sleeves and went over to dip your hands to touch the animals in the pool.

The look you gave Web when you touched a cownose ray-- it was precious. 

You also couldn’t hold your excitement as a few more smaller rays glided under the pads of your fingertips.

Then there were the horseshoe crabs and yknow those tiny fish that like swarm your hand and tickle you, yeah those too.

Y’all also chill it out and get to wash the jellyfish. The way the room was dark gave it a whole nother vibe, my loves. 

Like in  that jellyfish room, you two will most definitely just hold each other while gazing at the glass.

Bro, in the dim room, he’ll just pull you close and place a chaste kiss on your forehead and lips.

The bioluminescence of the jellyfish illuminates Webster’s face, making his features appear more sharp. Simping time commence, you two are a fine af couple.

Now time for the real kicker- It’s shark time

After dragging your ass to almost all of the other exhibits in the aquarium, Webster saved the shark exhibits near the end of the date.

Ohoho, was this boy eUPHORIC-

David is gripping your hand tightly and he’s constantly sending you smiles as you two walk closer to the entrance of the shark exhibit.

This is where Webster ascends out of his body, this is the second time he has (first time was when he met you and started dating). 

You share his happiness and the utter vibes comin off from your boyfriend makes you so soft and full of glee.

Yknow his constant face when his eyes are focused on something and his mouth is just slightly parted? Well that is his face most of the time during your time there.

Webster did write a wholeass book about them, what did you expect?

The utter passion and fascination in his voice really stands out whenever he talks about these beautiful babies- 

Like sure, David sounds happy when he talks about other sea animals, but with sharks? Whole nother level. 

It’s one of his biggest quirks and my goodness do you just stand there taking in all his facts as he goes on a tangent about different types of shark species.

The light in his eyes as they trail over as they trail over a sand shark swimming by. He’ll also just stare at a leopard shark while smiling because he loves them.

After leaving the shark exhibit after spending 1 hour in there with your boyfriend, you two decide to go home- But first, y’all buying some things from the giftshop. 

Webster will spoil you and will buy you anything you want in the aquarium gift shop.

Wallets beware, you’d also do the same for him.

There was this jellyfish theme hat you saw and you made David try it on- He looked so fucking stupid but like a cute kinda stupid.

You regret not buying it when you had the chance-

However- You two got shark plushies together. You got a tiger shark plushy and he gots a hammerhead. 

You two absolutely love them and you could’ve sworn you could’ve just burst from happiness when he showed you the tiger shark plush he got for you.

You two also bought those chonky seal plushies because I mean... I mEAN- Just look at em, they’re stunning of course you and Web had to get em.

With a day well spent with your boyfriend you just wanted nothing more but to lay with David on your bed as you run your fingers through your hair.

So you two leave the aquarium building smiling and laughing. Webster leans in a gives you another soft kiss on your lips and you let out a giggle. 

The two of you are noticeably happier, and you two head back to the car. The date ends with your hand in his and your four new plushies in tow.

Kirishima picked up his son placing him on his shoulders and hurried on over to the giant tank full of sharks. The look on his sons face was everything Kirishima loved.

Kirishima loved being a dad to his son Tashi, he had a similar quirk to his and made sure he knew how to handle it . Being a dad was one of the most rewarding experiences for him, to see his son smile and laugh and talk about how hes gonna be a great hero one day just made Kirishima melt.

His favorite animal was the shark, mostly because they were super manly and they had similar teeth to him and Kirishima. He liked to watch documentaries with his dad and begged him go get him books on them. The local aquarium had recently gotten sharks and he figured it was time Tashi saw them in person.

They were bullsharks and hammerheads , Tashi placed his hands on the tank watching with absolute amazement written on his face. It nearly made Kirishima cry.

“Havin fun?” Kiri asked, looking up at his son

“YES”

“Im glad. They are big huh?”

“Yup!!!” He hugged his dads head. “Thank you!!!”

Kiri laughed wiggling his head. “Awww , of course Tashi. Cmon lets head to the gift shop”

Kiri had put Tashi down and watched him run off in the store looking at everything, he had so much energy for a small kid.

After the shopping the two went around the aquarium for a second time before leaving. Excalibur: Average Joe. Good at a lot but not the best, really doesn't give his best. Very athletic. rushes through missions impatiently. Might play too many hack’n’slash games in his spare time.

Frost: Stoic, quiet, probably has some thought going on at all times. Reads a lot of mythology from before the orokin era. Procrastinates and stalls for his buddies while holding down the fort. solid person to talk to if you need someone to listen.

Hydroid: The guy has enough mentions about tentacle porn, it’s safe to say he’s hoarding a hentai stash somewhere. or people assume. just a guy who loves the water, could talk for days about fish and where to find all the best seafood restaurants. has had enough people mentioning pirates around him. has a good, hearty laugh.

Inaros: Tired, always fucking tired. Sleep? I’ll sleep when I’m dead. if you can kill me, that is. Mmm. nom. Corpus tastes metallic. Grineer tastes like really bad slimy chicken. I’m not sharing what infested taste like. Shields? What the heck is that? Appreciates old architecture and hoards ayatan statues.

Ivara: Sneaky sneaky~ I got an arrow for just about any job. Just because i am a cyclops doesn’t mean i don’t have depth perception, dumbass. Carefree happy lady, fun to talk to. Makes lots of banter with teammates on missions.

Limbo: Trolls might love this guy, why doesn't he have a fedora helmet yet? I’ve not seen enough Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to know what those references mean. He’s a real gentleman, very inquisitive. He’s a scientist? Aw, cool. Prolly spacing out while carousing through the rift, thinking about his next project.

Loki: The Cheeseframe is what people call him. Knows where all the loot is, all the time. Giggling and pulling pranks 24/7. Can do shit effortlessly and stares at his team wondering why the fuck the had to trigger the damn alarm in a mission. Also, hammerhead shark. This guys likes playing card games too.

Mag: In a state of calm and panic at the same time. Doesn’t show much though. Magnetic personality? Could crush your heart in a minute. Has a good taste in interior design, rather good at art deco/ industrial. Has some walls to get through before befriending her, but melts like a marshmellow when ya do.

Mesa: 360 no scope!!! It’s high noon! okay, now that’s out of the way, let’s keep going. Keeps an orderly schedule, off doing solo missions all the time. Loves a good movie, could talk about her favorite film for hours. Deserts are dry? So is her humor. Would shoot you without even thinking.

Mirage: You thought Loki’s pranks were bad? At least her enemies get these night mare shows and not you. This chick loves horror films, special effects make up and disco. Pretty good at good at lighting up the room and your smile. She really just wants a good time, okay?

Nekros: Sick mofo who tells dead baby jokes. Has some interesting kinks. Rarely eats, if ever. Would look you dead in the eye and try to tell you bad puns seriously as possible. Has seen the dead walk again, thinks they’re best buddies. good guy to go to a graveyard with.

Nezha: Srsly good looking.. guy? girl? oh idc he can be genderfluid and i’d still think he’s attractive. Got serious hula skills. Never takes himself seriously and just loves going for long missions. Knows a thing or two about culture, rather classy guy but can be a bit childish. Never really grew up, but you don’t notice that behind the charm.

Nidus: This is the I-don’t-give-a damn guy. He wrecks everything he touches, spreads space aids, yet his personality is far from cancer. Very good with animals. A bit messy. Too many damn things talking in his head from the infested and ignores them like a champ. They bend to his will.

Nova: A Good Egg, if slightly cracked. Giggles at the mention of inane words. Everything explodes!!! ADHD in a frame. Good natured wholesome friend who loves everyone. Bad habit of breaking appliances and electronics. Geiger counters near her start playing Imagine Dragon’s Radioactive?

Nyx: Look at this frame. You took a good warframe and gave it anxiety, sheesh. Shy, kinda hard to deal with hearing everyone’s thoughts sometimes. ain’t got time for your drama. Loves talking about current events, but not much of a gossip out of respect for others. giant personal space bubble, do not touch!

Oberon: Royal pain in the ass, but a lovable doofus so you kinda just let it go. Very protective dad friend, complete with dad jokes. Probably would like to finish your sandwich if you’re not gonna eat it. Would open his home to you if you needed a couch to surf on.

Octavia: This girl loves all music, could help you find just the mix you were looking for. Got sick dance moves too. Might have been in band. Would happily binge watch any tv show with you and discuss everything about it. You don’t know what so charming about her, but you really like her so you always accept her invites. Had a bad habit of fidgeting.

Rhino: This guy could bench press a grineer ship in one hand and corpus ship in the other. you don’t move out of his way, he runs you over, simple as that. gym rat, for sure. somewhat impatient. watches way too many superhero blockbusters and devours the comics. Mows down the entire enemy wave just get your sorry bleeding ass back up and fighting again.

Saryn: Oh, good lotus, this chick has got good looks and a deadly touch. Cunning girl could outsmart anyone. Low key annoyed in general. Would back stab you without a thought, given a reason. Knows a lot about cooking. I mean, if you’re going to poison someone or at least know how to work in the biolab you should probably know how this type of chemistry works. dodges responsibility a lot tho.

Titania: flighty as fuck, gets startled easily. graceful; she has good fashion sense. you have no idea where she came from in the room. fairy tales are definitely her thing, but happy endings really aren't true with that state of things right now in the solar system. too many butterflies, but is fine with it since they help her stay calm. Actually really good at flying archwings, I think?

Trinity: First one to rush into the fight, last one to leave until everyone is okay. Is the Mom friend. Likes to be helpful. Rather much a bitch to those she hates. She may have an open heart, but don’t walk all over this girl. Cross her once, shame on you. Cross her twice, she leaves you for dead on eris, end of story.

Valkyr: Look, she’s been through some shit, has ptsd, the very least you can do is give her a cat plushie and your support, okay? Gets angry easily and has meltdowns. She’s not a pushover. She knows what’s best, she can endure. semi serious, jokes fly over her head. it may take a bit for her to like you. literally a cat frame, you don’t know love until you've been loved by a cat.

Vauban: Forget Limbo being a troll. This is THE trollframe. Went to college for engineering, came back out a smart ass. Don’t loan money to him, he prolly won’t pay ya back. Pretty good drinking buddy tho. Reads a shit ton of shakespear to know what that sense of humor really is. Shit poster, meme hoarder extrordinaire. you can have a grenade! And you can have a grenade! YOU ALL CAN HAVE GRENADES!

Volt: Impeccable taste mixed with sharp commentary. Why does he have a helmet that’s a boob? maybe he has a high schooler’s sense of humor? would be honest with you and tell you straight up what needs to be done. This guy likes expensive suits. Has a tendency to be impulsive.

Wukong: Has loads of stories to tell. Good memory. Can comeback from just about any setback. determined and will happily grind with you in missions for hours. Also pretty damn stubborn and doesn’t listen well to others, kinda has to speak first.

Zephyr: Life’s a breeze here, right? Kinda goes with whatever and has a hard time deciding on things. Kinda clumsy too. Crashes raids and blows away the enemy. Usually minds her own business with her head in the clouds.

🌸  Favourite flower (x2) - idk why this is such a popular question haha. I can’t say I have one? I know I now associate @necromilk with little blue forget-me-nots, so I suppose I like them. I grew up around a lot of African violets, but I cant say I’m a big fan of them. They’re common and unkillable. Like me. I also like Jasmine a lot??? They smell nice. And they’re edible! When the flowers fall, you can pick it right up and pop it in your mouth. ^^

😘  irl crush - Audrey Hepburn. But she’s dead. So uh. @honeydoodles. She’s my irl crush. (In all seriousness idk if I have one? It’s been a long time since I’ve really been smitten.. haha. For better or for worse.)

🎁 best gift you’ve ever gotten - I had a friend... she was... very Extra(TM). She made me this gift box for literally no reason. Inside there was: 2 bars of dark chocolate (I’m a fan of dark chocolate over milk, hah), a framed photo of us with like ... a border made up of so many other smaller photos of us, a shark plushie? (a hammerhead, which, if you are not aware, is my favorite type of shark and sharks are my favourite animal hah), a keychain with the Ice King on it (the character I identify most with on Adventure Time), some stickers from the school she was currently attending (like bumper stickers), some assorted snacks I think?? I don’t even remember?? there was a lot?? ... and then separately she mailed me an ice pack because I had just sprained my ankle and she only found out after she had sent this very elaborate and unnecessary care package.  Let me tell you, this friend was... Extra(TM).

But I appreciate that gift more than anything hah. It was just.... incredibly thoughtful.

✈️ place you want to travel - I have travelled a lot of places, so I can’t say I really.. desire to go anywhere really? I would love to go to Morea (in French Polynesia) only because I have done research on the coral reef in that region hahahah. And also New Zealand would be nice - there is some great nature out there.

a prompt: Ozai and Zuko visit the aquarium.

Here you go @firelord-frowny ^^ hope you like, it ended up being a bit longer than a few paragraphs.. sorry if there are errors in it i missed!

   They were trying to get along, after all these years, but it wasn’t going very well as it always did. They were in the middle of an argument about the early hour that Zuko had come home during that morning. …Maybe you wouldn’t feel like shit if you didn’t spend your nights drinking your liver shot… Says the guy who has drank his liver shot already in his life… Thats when Ursa pushed… no she ‘hollered’ her son and her ‘on-and-off’ husband out the door and sent them on a mission to go find some place else to disrupt with their consistent bickering, and to stay out until they ran dry of things to argue about.

   They ended up going to that new aquarium downtown that was getting apparently stellar reviews, the one that had critters from the ocean and the fresh water. There wasn’t much to do on an Autumn Sunday mid-morning to begin with. After figuring that out, the rest of the trip across town was pretty quiet. Zuko’s headache rendered him mostly unable to keep a normal small talk going, and Ozai wasn’t much for talk any way.

   The father and son got to the aquarium along the river and right away there were too many people for their liking, even on their way inside walking from the parking lot, they noticed this. They got through the double doors and Ozai automatically made his way to the ticket kiosk and got in line. Zuko stood by and waited, his hands were resting in the front pocket of his sweatshirt, his eyes wandered around the lobby, spotting all the things that weren’t people- The decorative vines coiling around the thick wooden columns that held up the walkways full of people the next floor up. They were all contributing to a collaborative chattering white noise which echoed through the Atrium. Trying again to pick out the things that weren’t people, he looked to the upper space of the Atrium to the wide skylights. Blank, gray overcast, it wasn’t people at least. Ozai finally bought the wristband tickets, and walked back over to Zuko, dodging the crowd. He bumped Zuko out of his daze of staring up at the overcast, and handed him one of the purple wristbands made of paper. They spent a few extra minutes in the lobby before making their way into the exhibits, all because Zuko couldn’t figure out how to get the wristband hooked and needed Ozai’s help. “…I figure you would know how to get these things around your wrist after all your late night outings…” Ozai muttered, annoyed, close to his son’s face. Zuko responded with an eye roll and a “Whatever man.”

  First were the sea shore and reef exhibits, which were glass tunnels arching over the walk way. The blue behind the glass was full of vibrant schools of fish and vivid clumps of coral. Ozai was enthralled with the mocked palette of the ocean’s ecosystems, silver mackerel swarmed past the glass,color-changing eels peaked out of their hidey-holes and ducked back in at bolting speeds, blue and yellow tangs fluttered above their respective reefs. Zuko had to whisper his father’s name if he stood in one spot to long staring at the plethora of colors on the other side of the glass. Zuko got the point of it and just wanted to push further on down the tunnel, and had to urge Ozai to keep moving with him.

   Today was about the fish, not about what he did last night, so he was trying to enjoy himself and not trying to converse with Ozai too much. They walked further down the way and approached a part of the tunnel that transformed into a larger space, or a large glass bubble that held people more like. Quickly, that bubble felt closer to a glass barrier when the silhouettes of sharks passed over them as the two entered the space. They trotted over to an open spot between crowds to peer up at the enormous creatures, that were, surprisingly, just large fish in the end. But those fish had rows of razor sharp teeth and streamlined bodies with sharp edges, their masses made of muscle. Hammerheads and bulls, mako and reef sharks, they hardly seemed to care about all the human eyes gawking at them from the other side of the glass bubble. 

   “That’s metal.” Zuko said, as fascinated as he could be despite his fading hangover.    “Powerful.” Ozai corrected him, with a small smirk.

   The crowd became too dense around them, and the two moved on from their fascination with the sharks, and went on into the next room after the bubble. It was barely lit, and had smaller more assorted tanks, tall square tanks along the walls and cylinder shaped tanks in the center. They started at the first cylinder tank, which contained seahorses. Zuko immediately adored the tiny, dancing and bobbing, almost alien like animals, they were clumsy and had to hold onto the plants extending from the bottom of the tank using their curly tails for support. Ozai just shrugged at the pitiful tiny creatures.

   Zuko spoke up. “Did you know the male seahorses are the ones that get pregnant?” turning his head to Ozai.      “Uh… No… That’s… pretty bizarre.” Ozai responded.     Zuko turned his face back to the glass and leaned in a little closer, “I support you, tiny water dads.” he cooed at the seahorses. Ozai shook his head and snickered at that.

   They moved on to the other cylinder shaped tanks, one supposedly had an octopus in it which neither Ozai or Zuko could find, and the next tank had spider crabs which Ozai was immediately disinterested in, so they pressed on to the next section of the aquarium which were the fresh water exhibits. They watched the fluffy otters play, and the fresh water crocodiles do the complete opposite, they mistook the snapping turtles for rocks a couple times, and made a few bets on which snail would get to the top of the glass in its tank first, but were eventually too bored to wait and see who the winner would be.

   On the other end of the room was an enclosure with the walls of it coming up to about their waists, inside was an imitation of a pond and what you’d find in it. Some turtles and small frogs and lily pads. Small patches of dry surfaces the semi-aquatic creatures could rest on. There were koi fish floating patiently at the bottom of the pond, waiting to be fed by the guests. Most importantly, there was a family of ducks. A couple and their two ducklings. The couple bobbed in the water and quietly honked to each other like they were discussing something important, while their ducklings squeaked and wiggled and paddled their little webbed feet as hard as they could to keep up with their parents.

   Zuko leaned over the railing, almost as far as he could to get a better look at the koi fish looking back up at him as if it expected him to toss it some food pellets. They were locked in an intense stare down. Ozai kept his attention on the family of ducks bobbing across the pond. The bigger of the ducklings began nipping at it’s sibling and the smaller one squeaked in distress and paddled away to the other side of their mother, the larger sibling pursued it. The mother dipped her head in between her feuding offspring, and nudged the perpetrating duckling with her beak. Ozai almost heard his own wife saying ‘Knock it off.’ when she was trying to keep their own children settled down, and he chuckled at that thought. 

   Apparently the father duck didn’t like the sound of Ozai’s laugh because he launched himself out the water at Ozai’s face, squawking and wings flapping. Water splashed, Ozai yelped, the father duck honked in earnest. Ozai ran backwards at the sudden force of feathers attacking him and tripped, falling on his rear end, while the duck snapped his beak at Ozai’s nose and ears and eyes. It rapped its feet against his chest, and slapped its wings around his face. Ozai cussed and hollered, trying to pull the attacking creature off of him. It got a hold of his eye lid and he shrieked, the commotion him and the duck were creating was certainly the center of attention at that point. Zuko was pulled away from his stare down by the uproar and rushed to his panicking father, struggling on the floor with a face full of feathered fury. Zuko rudely pushed the man trying to assist his father off to the side because he was taking too long. He kneeled down and grabbed the duck’s legs, pulling the beast away from Ozai, and carried it back to the artificial pond, to it’s family. The duck protested with honks and flapping wings and Zuko made it to the edge of the pond and gave the animal a good toss back into the enclosure. It smacked the surface of the water creating a splash, regained his balance after a few more flaps and casually swam back to his family like nothing had happened.

   Some of the aquarium staff finally arrived at the scene, and one of the female workers offered her hand down to Ozai and she helped him back on his feet. Ozai, his hair ruffled and no longer perfectly straight, with bruises and red marks on his face, looked at the woman and politely and quickly thanked her before stomping off to the edge of the pond. Zuko turned around to his father making his way to the enclosure, probably seeking his vengeance on the duck by hollering at it from the railing. His son stood in his path to the pond, his hands up with an awkward smirk on his face.

   Ozai halted in front of his son, “Zuko, I’m ready to leave.”    “Huh, I think I am too.” Zuko grinned.

   As compensation for their troubles, the aquarium management gave them a full refund, and Zuko asked for a duckling plushy he saw at one of the kiosks along their way through the exhibits, which they graciously gave to him. Then the father and son exited the establishment and made their way back to the car, Ozai sulking and Zuko held the plushy at his side, and watched his feet step one in front of the other as he followed his father, replaying the event in his mind. Ozai tapped the unlock button on his car key, and the locks snapped open in the doors. They opened their doors and maneuvered into their seats. Ozai fiddled with the keys and put them into the ignition and turned the car on… And then he let out a tired sigh with a tinge of annoyance, and the two sat there in silence for an awkward minute. Zuko shifted his eyes back and forth between the plushy and Ozai who had his hands resting on each side of the steering wheel and his head between them. Ozai closed his eyes and shook his head from side to side and let out a throaty snort that turned into a low chuckle and looked back up at Zuko holding his duck plushy to his chest and Zuko began to giggle along with him.  

   “I guess ducks don’t like either of us.” Zuko confirmed.    “I guess not, my god!… Ozai agreed. Zuko grinned at his father.    “Lets grab a bite, preferably somewhere people won’t care too much to see my duck battle scars.” Ozai suggested.    “Right.” Zuko answered, while turning his head to look out through the windshield. Their mission assigned to them by Ursa was accomplished, for now.
