hiiii today's reminder is I've been pretty disengaged from k pop drama for a while and i was wondering why n city felt so peaceful so of course they would drop that bomb as soon as I had that thought. on the one hand I think it is a good thing, i don't want nct to grow anymore, it's way too much pressure on anyone new that comes in, plus they're so badly managed that there's no way sm can handle another unit. I'd rather sungtaro get to make their own name (which of course they will, they've absolutely killed it all 3 times they were in the spotlight) and get to experience just being regular rookies. but I'm also extremely annoyed at how it was handled - it looks like the members didn't know, sm was literally selling nct branded merch of those two until as late as last month, and honestly why tf aren't those two in the new japanese unit. also the fact that they've been preparing a new NCT project album and concert in what little time the other units have, and it breaks my heart to think that they were initially meant to participate but were removed later. yeah i really don't like how sm handles things. but i hope they thrive outside nct, I'm sure they'll kill it

also to the person who replied to my last message: thank you!! you absolutely didn't have to go out of your way to wish a stranger's mother well, but it warms my heart that you did. and it speaks to the kind of environment we've made here, it's so loving and open. and that's all the magic of Joyce (also thank you for sending me love, you're an angel and i love you)

Hii, Like I hope it means they'll actually have work and get to do all of the activities. But it just doesn't make any sense at all. Like they just wasted Sungtaro's time. And it's cruel to get them attached to a group and create a bond to just go nevermind and pull them out. If they're still creating NCT Japan why pull out the members who have been preparing for it and relocate them to a new group then have to reintroduce an entire new crop of members. Like it just makes no sense. Especially after the show they did. Like you had this in the works just to pull the rug from under their feet like that. Someone said that with Shotaro and Sungchan having established fans sm thought it could create success for a new boy group but still it's so sloppy, unorganized, sudden and it looks like everyone was blindsided. Also they better not even look at Winwin, since they're on some sorta ridiculous ass train of thought. Cause in the terms of business so much was wasted with nothing in return. And poor Taro and Sungchan they debuted, got to actually perform a few times in three years, connected with everyone and was just happy to be there even without any kind of schedule. Just to go back to a place of uncertainty without the security of being established in a group. It's just horrible management. I knew those random ass videos about sm 3.0 was gonna lead to nonsense. Cause how does a company mismanage every single group in their company. It's ridiculous and again exo war flashbacks but somehow worse. I only know how to be an assistant but I'm sure I can do a better job. A geunia pig can do a better job.
