I don't think constantin is a lost cause, but i don't think druck cares to strip back those layers. Constantin had a few breaks in his personality but ultimately he is incapable of being reasonable to the cash queens, he doesnt like them. Maybe it's the Ava-Nora connection? Who knows? But he is embraced by Zoe, Finn, Ismail, zoe and Finn. It says a lot about the instas that they might only abandon him now bc his bullying effects them personally
I don't think he's entirely a horrible person with zero redemption possible but I do think he's currently not a person that one would consider good. He is granted, still only seventeen(?), so he's relatively young and still has chances to grow but his behaviour has consistently been petty & rude throughout both seasons. It is quite possible that he may need a reality check that allows him in the future to redeem himself. That happens a lot in real life—which druck mirrors. It's not that they don't care; it's that they're showing that not everyone is consistently good their entire lives and leaving a grey area for the viewer to choose if he remains mean or not.
He's not just being "unreasonable" towards the Cash Queens. He's being a bully and he only gave Nora a shitty apology when he felt guilty on his own behalf. He assaulted her, called her a slur, and probably more that we haven't seen. He was consistently a known bully of Ava's for ages. He's being a prick, through and through.
There are many reasons why the Diva Squad would continue hanging out with him; their own selfish desires such as easy access to alcohol; loneliness; not wanting to disturb the comfort of the group; and quite frankly, not recognizing just how shitty his behaviour is.
I don't think it speaks horribly on the others to drop him if his behaviour starts hurting them. I think it's a normal thing that happens. When you love someone, you don't realize how much hurt they cause until you separate yourself from it or you fall victim to it. They're teens; they're still learning and recognizing toxic and harmful behaviours.
