To celebrate a year of FFXV and the end of the first year of updates, let’s spread the FFXV love! I haven’t seen a tag meme like this for FFXV yet, so I decided to make one. If you see this and want to, copy/paste this list and share what your favorite things about FFXV are.

Favorite Chocobro: (is ravus a chocobro?) definitely IGNIS! he was no my favorite in the beginning, i thought he was just the obligatory butler-type character, but the moment insomnia fell and he dashed into the room looking at noctis like the world just ended, it became a slippery slope into ignis hell real fast! he’s always calm and ready to take control! fits snugly in my glove fetish, well-ironed suit kink, megane type, can cook while simultaniously cutting a bitch!! he’s just the whole package u feel me!!

and then he went and gotten himself a sad side story?? JUST WHEN U THOUGHT U COULDN’T LOVE HIM MORE???

Favorite Guest Party Member (including Ravus and Libertus from DLC): RAVUS!!!! i’ve been itching to know more about him, not just from the wiki article, but his attitude, the banter, what he does in a rest stop, his idling poses etc AND I GOT IT ANDI  LOVE HI MS OMUCH HE JUST WANNA PROTECC

Favorite Minor Character(s): Aranea Highwind! she just seems so badass! she’s a hands-on military bamf who is in charge of her own platoon, she’s the only lady who attends military meetings with the emperor, has the gall to sigh at verstael and gossip about ardyn when he’s three feet away, she takes everything in stride but when lives are at stake she will put her sharp stiletto’d foot down. is she some powerful soldier’s daughter? is she an orphanage child? did niflheim take over her hometown or did she move to gralea on her own? I NEED TO KNOW MORE And also i kinda ship her with everybody and my friends tell me i sound very gay when i talk about her and at this point who am i to disagree am i right lmao

Favorite Villain: Daemon Ravus, it was actually the first time i ran out of healing items in the whole game and saw the game over screen. IT WAS TOUGH AND I WAS UNPREPARED AND UNDERESTIMATED HIM OK but hecc yeah it was a fun battle!!

Favorite Kingsglaive Character: uhh i dunno man i only watched it once, but i like Lunafreya’s characterization in it rather then the way she was in the actual game, does that count? 

Favorite Astral/Divine Being: shiva, she’s gorgeous, the added cut scene with a conversation with her and a close up of her fabulous face was a blessing ♥ why she gotta hide inside a human though go out there and tell people what to do instead of manipulating them by proxy lmao

Favorite Character Overall: i love the dynamic of the four boys when they’re together, but the only one who i felt really REALLY lost without was prompto. i love ignis, but my chocoboy was gone for five minutes and i could not function, so i’m guessing both??  

Favorite Weapon: the engine blade? i don’t switch out weapons alot (even though i should) i like that upgrading it made it stronger and i love to point warp + it goes nyoom 

Favorite Location: the catoblepas pool in duscae ♥ i could run around there allll day listening to the field music and pretending i can pet the little garulessa and hide under the shack roof when it rains and drink warm tea from a thermos and catch some fish while watching the happy cyclops flop around in the water with it’s friend aaaaaaa ♥

Favorite Quest/Questline/Hunt: going into the dungeon with Aranea to get mythril, i loved chatting with her, her fighting is great, and we get to see and kill quetzalcoatl lmao, i also liked the frog quests for sania so when people whine about catching frogs i’m like lmao watch me launch myself face down into salty mud to catch this rainbow mofo

Favorite Boss: Bandersnatch! that big boye is so cool and fantastic and level 2 me nearly shat myself the first time i saw the level 40 one strolling around that leide watering hole and the Nope Music came on 

Favorite Monster/Monster Family/etc: the friendly animals that let you walk around in their herd and not attack you (sometimes lmao) the anak, garula, spiracorn, they’re just so cute!

Favorite Songs: Noctis’s theme, Ravus aeternia, hellfire, relax and reflect,, song of the stars, wanderlust, apocalypses Noctis, Invidia (THE WHOLE OST IS GOOD OK) also altissia under siege from the episode ignis dlc  

Favorite Boss Theme: when you go against a monster that’s 30 levels higher than u and omnis lacrima starts and you backpedal yelling shit shit shit then get smacked with a tail and then the music picks up and ur like i shouldnt have had burnt toast for breakfast

Favorite Non-Episode DLC/Update/Event: i liked the ass fest because we got to follow Loqi around and then shank him in a back alley and then send him to space like team rocket, i love that little shrimp commander i want more Loqi content, i bet he’s gonna be sassy if he was ever on our team but only like, a tsundere sassy. offer him a sandwich and he’ll buy you a coffee next time there’s a vending machine around and he’ll take ur pick with kenny crow and promote you to his instagram followers lmao 

Favorite Episode DLC: EPISODE IGNIS 10000% BEST!!!! i love episode prompto, we learned a lot about our sweet boy, episode gladio was kinda uhhhh underwhelming... but episode ignis touched up on a lot of story bits that i liked and it had a lot of Ravus and my boye ignis pays-the-empty-cash-register scientia got some new specs so yeah (finger guns)

Other Favorites of Note:

the music is FANTASTIC

i met a lot of wonderful people through this dumb game

the only game where every ship makes sense and has potential and people don’t get on your case about a crack ship lmao

i love the photography mechanic, even though i spent most of it trying to get up in Ignis’s face

kenny crow is a national treasure

if you did not paint your monster truck bright pink and stuck a cactuar decal on it then you have not lived
