I got a rahkshi recently and wanted to draw it so here's this - kind of an experiment with studying a real life object and how to pose it into a interesting composition and then replicating the lighting I got tired of rendering this partway through however :P

#kingdom hearts dream drop distance #khddd #dream eaters #lord kyroo #my gif #what i really like about the designs of the frog dream eaters is that they don't look like your typical cartoon frogs #yknow the highly stylized ones with big round spherical heads with bulging eyes on the very top; stumpy limbs; and tiny bodies #those can be cute sometimes but i much prefer what they did here #keeping their heads flat and giving them cute snouts as well as their big grippy feet and distinct looking pupils #it's cute!! i like frogs a lot so seeing them depicted properly makes me happy
