3 — Do you write fics from start to finish, or jump around?
When I officially started writing fanfics, I mainly jumped around with the plot until I was satisfied with how things went in the story. And that was years and years ago. More recently, I decided to try writing from start to finish, and honestly. . .I see it as sort of a bad habit? That's not to say it can't work for other writers, but it just seems to slow me down. So, I'm trying to unlearn it and go back to my old tricks.
Like, I tend to think of climax scenes first. You know, the really dramatic/important stuff because, well, it's dramatic/important. I feel that once I get those particular details out of the way, it'll be easier for me to write other stuff around it until the story is full. Plus, that type of format allows for random ideas to pop up and potentially make things even better.
5 — What is the perfect environment for you to write in?
Typically somewhere quiet with no distractions. I take meds for my autism and ADD, but I can still be tempted to focus on other things, thus procrastinating my stories. I don't like to, it just happens, and I'm still working on it.
When the weather is nice, I love riding my bike over to the library and just writing there for a few hours (so long as some disruptive asshole doesn't waltz into the areas that are CLEARLY MARKED FOR SILENT STUDY. It happens more frequently than I care to admit, but oh well. Not the end of the world).
But if I'm really focused/dedicated to the story at hand, then I can write pretty much anywhere. Just a year ago, I tagged along on a family vacation and seriously surprised myself via writing a full story for Goretober 2023 during the several-hour-long car ride. And I didn't feel carsick once, which was practically a miracle. I'd brought one of the cool-looking notebooks I'd collected on a whim, as well as a pencil and a lap-desk thing. I totally covered the entire backseat with eraser shavings, but it was worth it!
12 — Is there a trope you haven't written yet but really want to?
Hard to say; I've written with tons of tropes—I've definitely done so without even meaning to. If you've read my stuff, then it's probably very obvious which tropes are my personal favorites, but I still try to be open to new ones.
I suppose I haven't written Talking Animals, since the stories I've been focused on are somewhat set in reality (fictional, but not Fantasy, you know?). But I always loved seeing that when I was a kid. Since a lot of my fanegos have pets, perhaps I could write a snippet from said pets' perspective? I know it technically wouldn't count as them talking, but it'd be pretty close, right?
13 — Is there a trope you wouldn't write if it was the last trope on Earth?
It's a tie between two tropes, actually: Minority Character Dies First, and The Pure and The Promiscuous.
The former is completely stupid and racist/ableist/etc., and I don't understand how or why it's still being used in some movies or books today.
The latter is more complex, since it's typically used in romantic scenarios, which I don't write very often anyway. But I still hate it because it just seems insulting to the characters. Like, I can understand the appeal of having one character teach things to an inexperienced character, but the way I've seen it handled almost always leads to the character on the receiving end being infantilized or dumbed-down. Which is bullshit, because the character deserves more depth and thought than that!
19 — Who is the easiest/hardest character for you to write about? Why?
Maybe this is obvious, but fanegos are the easiest for me to write! True, sometimes I struggle a bit, since I want to have a balance of originality and a clear tie to the content-creator the fanego was inspired by. But otherwise, I make the rules. Canon egos also aren't too tricky for me to write; I feel like I'm pretty decent at learning/feeling a character's quirks to make that character seem authentic in fanfic settings.
One thing that's undeniably difficult for me to write is reader-inserts. No shame to those who have requested reader-insert fics from me, because I love engaging with people on here. The problem I have with it just seems to be my own self-consciousness. You already know why I tend to avoid shipping in fanfics, and I guess that also counts as a factor.

Heya! I hope your doing well!
Ever since swsh gave the rivals something to do after the fact( something that I believe only happened to Blue), I can't help but think of the rivals prior who haven't. What do you think they end up doing? I know that Blue ends up becoming a gym leader, but would still be interesting what you plan for him too! :3
Hi there @ihopethisendswell! So actually, it's the norm typically for the rivals to have something to do, even if it's just continuing being a roaming trainers. Being a roaming trainer is still just as valid of a career path as other routes given the way the Pokemon world works, it's just not as solid of a career path as say gym leader or research assistant. Pokemon Sword and Shield is one of the only main games that really puts emphasis on the rivals' alternate careers paths as part of the plot outside of the gen 5 games. So like you have Blue who becomes gym leader and also helps his grandpa with his research by still be a roaming trainer (much to the frustration of anyone trying to challenge his gym). By the time of Sun and Moon/USUM he has ditched the gym to become battle facility which ultimately given his status as a former champion ends up being a much more fitting role. Granted he needed that time as a gym leader as long standing humbling exercise so it wasn't a bad call at all. Then we have Silver, who remains a roaming trainer, though he kind of mainly sticks around the Dragon's Den because he really wants to avenge that loss to Lance and show how much he has changed. Then we have Brendan/May (when not the protagonist) who end up going back to being full time assistants professor Birch. Wally on the other hand, is much like Silver in that he continue to be a roaming trainer, with him staying around the Battle Resort in ORAS with him eventually going to the Battle Tree by the time the SM/USUM events occur.
Barry also follows the roaming trainer route with him staying Stark Mountain in Diamond/Pearl and with Platinum he hangs around the Survival area.
Gen 5 is where the rival's future goals get the most attention, and was the best well done (SwSh in my opinion failed hard on the rival's goals bar Klara and Avery's). Bianca is still my favorite "how to do a future career path" ending in the entirety of series which is she really doesn't know. She ends up taking up a position as Professor's Juniper's assistant. However it's this linefrom Bianca in Pokemon Black 2/White 2 that I really enjoyed:
"Actually, I'm not sure being a professor's assistant is really what I want to do... But when I do the work, I have lots and lots of fun!" I really appreciated that they allowed Bianca to have doubts that this is her final career path. She's still a child and I can remember when I was her age (God, I sound so old) how many career paths I thought about in that time frame...and only one of those comes even remotely close to what I'm attempting to go back to school for. I liked how she's just trying to things and aiming for experiences while not trying to commit herself to one specific path. Now obviously this could theoretically be true for any number of the rivals as with the exception of Blue (and Wally although for some odd reason they didn't give him an aged up model considering he'd be just as old as Red and Blue are) we don't see them as adults and their ambitions could very well have indeed changed over the years. Then you have Cheren who after that scolding from Alder really begins to question his pursuit of strength and what he really wants to do. Cue 2 years later in BW2 where we see him as the Aspertia City gym leader as well a lecturer at the trainer's school. Fitting as it shows his desire and capabilities as a trainer but also allowing a more concrete goal than just pursuing strength but actually overseeing the future generations. And Hugh, another one of my favorite characters, concludes his story arc on forgiveness (since he had absolutely none for Team Plasma at the beginning of the story) ends up a roaming trainer but also helping the good side Team Plasma in Driftveil City reunite Pokemon that were stolen during the events of Black/White to their original trainers. So he has a goal and really touching one I might add, one of the few that doesn't revolve around battling or researching.
Then there's the XY rivals who were admittedly the most shafted. They all pretty much end up as roaming trainers except for Trevor who already had the aim of completing the Pokedex for Professor Sycamore and he continues to do so.
The no specific aim works the best, in my opinion, for Shauna as she really didn't have much of a goal to begin with outside of travelling/making memories, and much like I said with Bianca, it's okay for characters to not have a specific end game (although I personally see Bianca's route as better as although she isn't quite sure what she wants to do, she does take initiative and actively pursue a goal to gain experience and see if it's for her).
Serena/Calem (again when not the protag) having no set aim also works because they were most competitive of the group and continuing to be a trainer makes sense, but since they get hardly any development it just feels hollow and not satisfying. At least with characters like Wally, Silver and Barry who are roaming they all went through some major development. Lack of major development plus no end game just makes Serena and Calem unfortunately just not stand out.
Then Tierno...poor Tierno. He's my favorite XY character and I hate that screwed over so poorly. He actually a goal but the game doesn't allow us to see how a dance team would work. Kalos really could've benefitted from a Pokemon Contest/Musical like sidequest where Tierno shines in. So him being a roaming trainer is just...meh.
Now moving on to Gen 7 and best boy Hau (Hau's up there with Blue and Leon as one of my favorite Pokemon characters PERIOD). In both Sun and Moon and USUM he's a roaming trainer but I argue that Sun and Moon actually wrapped up his character better, despite USUM giving him much more in the way of development. By that I mean he explicitly mentions to the player that he wants become strong enough to find his father who fled Alola because the pressure of being the Kahuna's son was too much. So yeah he is still just a regular trainer, but he does have an explicit goal that goes beyond just trying to continue to measure up to the player. He also helps to train the reforming Team Skull grunts in the art of Alolan SuMo. In USUM this is erased for a more generic roaming trainer scenario unfortunately. Gladion's fate also changes depending on what version of the Gen 7 games you play. With Sun and Moon he ends up taking over as Aether's president but also still trains on the side as he is one of the challengers that can come for your title in the post game. In Ultra Sun and Moon he actually takes the "I'm going to Kanto" route instead of Lillie although he actually back and is essentially a roaming trainer since Lusamine's villainy was nerfed and therefore allowed to stay as Aether's president
Then there's Trace who ends up champion then loses it, but keeps on going in this endless circle of trying to reclaim it from the player. And then finally the Gen 8 rivals where we have Bede, Marnie, Klara and Avery all become gym leaders and Hop is a professor. Despite this cast having the most focus on their future paths since the gen 5 rivals I don't think they were done that well. Like Klara and Avery's worked, really well and they're probably the only rivals bar Trace and Blue who actually their goals (with them actually maintaining there dream status because their goal didn't involve becoming champion).
I've talked about Hop's on this post before but the lack of genuine foreshadowing just made his sudden declaration of wanting to be a Pokemon Professor just come out of nowhere. And honestly considering the fact that he had just come out of a depressive stage and still hadn't quite addressed his idolization issues I think he would've been served better with the Bianca route where yes he becomes Sonia's assistant, but it's clear that he's still trying to find his new path and that he's just open to trying out research rather than making a rather bold claim that this was his new career path. Either that or do better in the foreshadowing where he shows he has a much clearer interest in academia but feels like he needs to be a champion like his brother.
Then there's Marnie who I've also stated was kind of screwed over. Because she made it rather clear to Piers she didn't want to be gym leader (which makes sense given that she saw how that position screwed over older brother that she admires). She's pretty much doing this because she still has the motivation to save her hometown which is extremely admirable and mature. But also it's sad, like if she didn't have to do this, would she honestly still be gym leader. I think not, at least not immediately. Considering that gym challengers can still compete on the big stage with the champion's cup rematches and some even can be invited to the Galarian Stars Tournament, I think if I had of written that I would've focused on how with Leon as the head of MC he's going to actually work with Spikemuth to revitalize without shouldering the responsibility on one single person, especially a minor. And let her be a roaming trainer and live for herself and not continue to be Spikemuth's martyr.
Then there's Bede who quite vocally states when crashing the Champion's Cup that he was ready to retire. Like poor boy goes from being used as Rose's wishing star collector and fall boy to Opal's reirement plan. Like yes it's great that Opal actually remembers his name and gives him a support system and teaches him some discipline. But still it's kind of sad as he was very much okay with retiring but more or less gets goaded into staying because of the stadium audience.
So this post got way longer than I what it was going to be but hey that happens. But yeah too long don't read, all of the rivals do have a goal, even if a lot of them end up as roaming trainers. If I'm honest in most cases (bar the gen 6 rivals because they lacked developent) the roaming trainer thing works. Because they're kids and they still have their whole lives ahead of them and they don't need to have concrete job just yet. Especially because in some cases the concrete plan just doesn't always fit the character. It works best when it feels like an organic part of the story and not just trying to wrap things up for the sake of wrapping things up.
Finally, to answer your question about how I deal with Blue. Well in my Pokeverse (dubbed cactusverse in case you see me refer to my AU as this), I tend to be fairly canon compliant to the games. So after he loses his champion title to Red he becomes Viridian gym leader, slightly patches things up with grandfather by helping with the research and eventuallya head of the Battle Tree as an adult once he gains the Battle Legend Status (which is an actual legitimate title in cactusverse held currently only by him, Red and Leaf, although one of my OCs gets this designation as well). So nothing that really deviates from canon except for some offscreen events. Basically the battle legend status is bestowed if a major event happens that is taken care of by an already established powerful trainer. So there's a rather major plot thing the Kanto Trio gets involved in that once they take care of gives them their status.
Also for cactusverse there's the whole issue of the Viridian City gym. So it eventually it gets passed down to Trace as Blue has shown that he's become a bit too powerful to be a gym leader. He was honestly when he first got it probably still a bit overkill for an 8th gym leader, but he also really needed an attitude adjustment. And with Lance being a far better father figure to him than Oak could ever dream of, with the help of Agatha tried to rein in his egotistical and self important ways by giving him the position. Which worked very well. Still in cactusverse there's rules on the win percentage a gym can have and that's determined by position. Win too many for your rank and you get moved, vice versa if you lose too many, and sometimes you might even lose your position. The first and last gym leaders are always the most at risk of losing their status. This actually happens to Wallace, Iris and eventually Raihan because they just end up exceeding the strength of most challengers who try to challenge them. Hence why all three of them end up champions at some point cactusverse (Raihan does not become Galar's champion, but Johto's champion since I really like the idea of him spreading his wings beyong Galar).
Blue between the time of BW2 and SM had ended up getting to a point that no one had gotten a gym badge off of him in a couple of years which is unacceptable by league standards and he would've gotten booted out sooner had Lance not personally asked my OC Terra to come kick his butt and get a badge off of him. And cue possibly the most iconic and brutal gym battles to have ever gone down in a region of outside of Galar because two heartbroken champion tier trainers, who broke each other's heart is a recipe for a frightening battle. Lance happened to referree that match and might be a little traumatized. Terra won and he was able to give out his last badge before Red came back from his latest global trip and said let's go to Alola.

Fable IV rant:
I'm so pumped up for the 23rd because everything has led me to believe that Fable 4 will be announced this year and the game's existence has been confirmed for a while anyway it's just a matter of time of when will Fable 4 show itself. It's a badly kept secret tbh.
So to those who don't mind a big rant or wish to add on to my rant- here we go!
Can you imagine how good the graphics would be for this game, we've all seen modern games, surely, and they're all bloody fantastic looking. Fable Legends is technically the most recent Fable game despite it being a free to play online game
and that it's cancelled
but it also had a gorgeous look to it all! And the character models did great justice to the concept art and honestly that has my hopes real high because I love the concept art of Fable, specifically from Mike McCarthy, so exaggerated and recognisable- yet in all the games I can confidently say they did not do justice to his character design, specifically for Reaver. Sure, he looks stunning in the third game, but not quite what he looks like in his concept art sadly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But also, since Fable was made in Unreal Engine (I'm pretty sure at least) we've seen examples of what can be done in Unreal Engine now and it's absolutely breath taking!
If you haven't seen here are some examples and they're so life-like.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moving on from graphics!
Since Playground Games is behind the development of Fable 4, they would be spectacular at an open spaced world, judging from the Forza games.
I always loved the open world feature added to Fable, it made things more adventurous and you could do so many things that weren't at all related to the main quest to progress the story and it was just thrilling to see there were other things going on! I'd love to just have my dog companion running through fields, fighting enemies left and right and finding buried treasure or forgotten chests.
Run into strangers who request aid in something silly or rather serious and it would be up to you with how you go about the quest or if you even accept it to get renown or gold. Cause a massacre in towns and villages, running off with low morality and plentiful loot- oh one could fantasise of this all day.
Story, characters, writing and voices.
Fable has always had a fun environment of fantasy and a rather good story (despite the curse of mundane or pathetic boss fights in which I hope Fable 4 breaks this cycle) but the one thing that's always kept me on my feet in the games is the writing and the characters. It always just tried not to take itself too seriously, throwing in absurd quests that probably requires cheese or a really weird-looking outfit. It always kept my attention rather than just pure edge and seriousness of life or death.
The characters are a given, the writing done for them all is perfect in my eyes, I love hearing the variations of how characters of NPCs interacted (enough so that I even bought two of the Fable books written by Peter David). Despite Fable 3 not being the greatest at it's time, I found myself absolutely enjoy the characters for how they were- I even cried over Walter's death because it genuinely felt like I lost somebody pretty close (RIP Walter🙏). The writing and the chosen voice actors were superb and I'd love more of it.
I hope this time we can receive a full story instead of how Fable 2 and 3 were where plenty of plot points and such were cut out due to time constraints- thanks Microsoft, very cool. I'm still in anguish when listening to the Developer's Diary 3 of Fable 3 hearing lines that were just never said in the final product and it was definitely not just additional lines that weren't required as it seemed to mention entirely different things that weren't in the game; i.e. Reaver talks about his pirates in Bloodstone and how he misses them- in the final product he never mentions it and it's even shown that he's tried to completely bury his pirate past for whatever reason.
The pacing in Fable 3 was rather strange too, it felt like the revolution should've lasted longer.
Another hope of mine is to have choices that aren't so painfully black-and-white because it's very obvious which is the good or bad option to a scenario- personally for me I'd like to be morally grey rather than pure good or pure evil.
They better have kept the mechanic of your actions affecting your appearance too to the point where you grow horns and get cracked magma-like skin or this slight glow and aura around you and this flawless skin. It kind of died down in Fable 3, only looking more tired or have completely black eyes and the good- eh yeah not much I can say for when you're good. Purity and corruption seemed to also vanish in Fable 3 (at least I think) since you couldn't really change prices of the homes you were renting out, unless I've been a big goof who didn't arrange the rent prices in the game because I didn't know how.
Combat
Combat in all the games was rather straight forward, especially in Fable 2 and 3 where everything was just easy to beat or you could get overpowered around the start of the game. I'd hope the combat improves greatly this time and even bring back real consequences to dying instead of immediate revival with some lost experience and a scar. We need more serious consequences to your actions (this can be applied to all decisions rather than just if you die in a battle) even if it's just having to reload the last checkpoint. Makes things more challenging this way.
Another thing is to make boss fights less repetitive and simple- sure I can forgive it if the boss is from around the start but if they had phases you had to keep ontop of and didn't rely on summoning a bajillion other enemies to strike you, I'd be ever so grateful.
And if there's other characters fighting along side you, I'd hope they'd genuinely be helpful and keep up to speed with the player. I'm sure the AI in the past was the problem for this as AI wasn't at its best during that time so characters fighting by you didn't do too much or just did whatever that wasn't helpful. Now though, AI has improved immensely (I mean look at The Last Of Us 2, the AI is👌) and due to this, I'm sure characters would make battles more fun and the characters be more involved with the fight and even story.
Mana should be brought back as well, in Fable 2 and 3 mana just ceased to exist so you could just endlessly and repeatedly use the same spells and it just gave you too much power and the enemies barely stood a chance.
We need challenges people- CHALLENGES!
Medieval times? Yes.
I love Medieval fantasy and as much as I like the Victorian era too, I didn't think it quite suited Fable, as fascinating as it was to see fantasy turn industrial, it kind of took away from the Fable feel that I so crave. If they have indeed brought the game back to medieval times it means more creatures and enemies are back rather than driven away or limited to the same handful of enemies.
We can all also agree the guns were overpowered, though I did like receiving the Red Dragon late in Fable 2 to absolutely mow down enemies, it was satisfying to say the least. However, guns were far too powerful for the game, so I demand the bows and crossbows back thank you very much- or even throwing knives- I'll take what I'm given.
I'd love to see more of the natural landscape rather than towns or buildings that took over once entirely natural areas (Millfields/Bowerlake). However, I won't object to ruins of old buildings taken over by nature.
Skeptical with Playground Games? Don't be.
Are you worried that Playground Games wouldn't do justice to Fable since it's not Lionhead Studios? Don't be, it's been noted that Playground Games has hired several ex-lionhead workers and plenty other skillful workers to ensure we get the best product. I have high hopes and expectations for Fable 4 even if it's developed under a different studio, I've seen great things from them and I will believe they'll deliver us only the best.
Side note to all this
I will crash and burn if I don't see a crumb of Reaver or Jack of Blades in Fable 4- I don't know how true any rumours are of Fable 4 with time travelling and Jack returning, but we'll just have to see. Reaver still remains as my absolute favourite character of all time and I'd love to see more of him, even see him before he was 'Reaver'.
Jack too, more of his lore is stated elsewhere rather than in the game itself and I'd love to see it all be brought into light and really expand on his lore and make it known- rather than have ever-loving Fable fans like me dig around for these rather delicious bits of canon information.
That's my big rant, feel free to share your thoughts and what you'd look forward to!
Have some accidental art leaks from a Playground Game concept artist- believed to be for Fable 4👀

Hey! You're writing is awesome! I actually started writing some scenarios because I got inspired and haven't written in awhile, so thanks! I was wondering if you could write one with Aizawa getting super possessive because his s/o is getting a lot of male fans while working as a pro-hero? A little NSFW would be appreciated, but not necessary!
Thank you @bakusquadup for requesting and being such an angel and doing a Kirishima request for me! I loved it and I hope you like yours (ノ≧∀≦)ノ
Under the cut because violence & I added some steam for you love
Aizawa, Shouta ( Eraserhead )
You weren’t the most popular pro-hero, never caring on making it to the top rankings, you didn’t like all the attention that came with the popularity and you disliked the media’s antics. You showed up to a fight when you were called or needed and disappeared before the cameras either showed up or got a good look at you, maybe that was why you caught Aizawa’s attention. He first noticed you scurrying away when he himself was doing the exact same after a noisy villain fight, he hadn’t known that he’d see you again so soon when you showed up to a meeting at Yuuei with your brother. Seeing who you were related to really pique his interest, he didn’t know Ryo Inui had any siblings and Aizawa had been working with him for years now. You were private and so was he. With that being said, while the meeting turned into the pro-heroes having a nice reunion with one another, Aizawa slipped away with you.
Ever since, you and him have been nothing but inseparable and have been officially together now for two years. You loved him, you knew you did but the two of you have yet to express such raw feelings, despite the time spent between one another.
TING!TING!
Your cellphone went off and it was Shouta. You smiled to yourself when you read his message, a simple and quick message that expresses that he cares; ‘Be safe.’ You hummed out while replying, sending him a fast ‘you too’ and continued on with your patrol with your agency, ever since Hero Killer Stain’s video leakage, villainous activity has only increased. “I smell blood!” You suddenly belted, pointing in the direction of the intense iron smell heavy in the air, your heightened sense of smell helped identifying as well as locating villains. The Inui family bloodline passed down quirks relating to canines, your brother was the Hound Hero “Hound Dog” and you the Wolf Hero “Rabid Dog”. Luckily for you, you didn’t have the same appearance as some if not most of your family members but when you activated your quirk there was no mistaking that you belonged in the family.
“Y/N! Getting calls from a few agencies they all need help immediately, gang violence broke out in the middle of the streets!” One of your partners added a worried look on their cheeks while spilling the news. You nodded and everyone began to take off in different directions, they knew you could handle yourself and you knew they could as well, everyone went to help where it was needed. Before getting closer to the incident where the blood smelled the worst, you activated your quirk and began to release loud howls while your whole body began to change into a large wolf standing on two legs. Using the dagger sharp claws you now bore, you climbed up the side of a building going in for a sneak attack, they would never expect what had just made those terrifying sounds to come from above. You scanned the surrounding area, trying to find who was a target and who would be friendly fire if you just ran in blindly. There were three hostages, used to be more by what you saw from your hiding spot, and they were huddled against a street lamp.
The villains must have wanted to use the remaining hostages as leverage before killing again but you weren’t about to let that happen! Using your much more powerful back legs, you sent yourself flying right into the middle of the group of Ne'er-do-wells. With your massive size, it was easy to take down two of the villains at once, using your large mouth full of jagged fangs to rip open the jugular of the one most unlucky. Your large hand holding five very sharp claws stabbed into the other unlucky villain’s stomach who was standing too close to the other now being held within your mouth. You lifted from the ground and glared down the remaining four who stared in horror at the massive wolf with blood dripping from it’s jowls, blood lust filling it’s glowing yellow eyes. One passed out from fear, another dropped to their knees begging for their life and the other two ran in the opposite direction and right into the hands of the police who saw the opportunity to jump in and join the ambush you created. And in the blink of an eye, you had saved those hostages and helped the police at the same time, who thanked you when you deactivated your quirk.
The bad thing about your quirk was when you changed into a large wolf without taking off your clothes, you would usually be left utterly naked. Which was a whole other reason why you didn’t want the media around. “Hero! Hey! Hero! Can we get an interview?!” Just like a virus, the media showed up when you didn’t expect it. You froze. ‘S-Shit!’ You screamed in your head, you lost track of time and didn’t even realize the media was already in the surrounding area, and then a bright light from above shined down on your exposed body, a news helicopter directly above. “Somebody get this savior some cover!” Tsukauchi screamed suddenly appearing out of no where behind the flashing lights, you knew him because of both Shouta and Toshinori. A familiar face, you reached for him and he covered you, knowing too well how you hated the media just as much as Shouta did. He got a blanket from a near by volunteer and lead you to his personal car, packing you in and when you were finally alone you realized you dropped your phone, again for the hundredth time.
You blinked slowly, “……Shouta is going to kill me…..”
It’s been a week since you made your official appearance as a new and amazing pro-hero in the media, the one video of you exploding all over the internet and you hated it. Not all of it, but you really didn’t like getting recognized wherever you went and the random groups of fans who wanted to see you transform into the wolf they saw in that damn video. Shouta hated the whistles and cat calls you got even if you were out with him and the sudden appearance of more eyes looking at you longingly. “Hey it’s Rabid Dog!! You are so hot! Can I get a picture, can I put my arm around you!?” Your eyes widened at the sudden request blurted out by the fan, he was walking with a few others, noticed you walking with Shouta down the other side of the road and came running blurting that nonsense! Shouta suddenly side stepped in between you and the fan, his brows furrowed down very harshly as he glared his disfavor at the other man. Hiding you safely behind him and away from the grabby hands of this man, hoping he wasn’t going to have to fight a civilian, a very quiet yet threatening grumble escaping him. “O-Oi…I-I’m s-sorry s-s-s-ir…!” The fan choked out backing away slowly before turning around and scrambling back to his group. Shouta grabbed you by the wrist and pulled you in another direction than the one the two of you were once going.
“S-Shouta! W-Wait!” You huffed out, he was practically running down the street while you were trying not to trip and fall behind him. He stopped when he realized he was literally dragging you, growled to himself for getting so worked up over this and suddenly pushed you against the brick wall just outside of his apartment. He dragged you all the way back home, so much for the snack run! “Sho-” He stopped you with a rough kiss on the lips, muffling the rest of your words, he continued to kiss you roughly for a few more seconds before pulling away and looking down at you with a pained expression. Which you returned, immediately placing tender hands on his cheeks, your thumb touching the scar on his face while you tried to search for the answer in his eyes. However he closed them both and nuzzled his face against one of your palms in response before opening his eyes again, the look he gave making your breath hitch in your throat. It was that look he gave whenever he wanted you and you felt that usual blush you always got under that gaze spread on your face.
“You’re mine Y/N…..” His voice low and very serious, “….I won’t share you, not now or ever.” His words made the blush on your cheeks deepen, he had never expressed himself in such a degree and your heart began to beat so fast it stung your chest. Two years with this man and you were still so moved by him, and utterly, deeply in love with him. He pushed his lips against yours again, less harsh but just as needy, if not more. His lips molded into yours so perfectly and he tasted like the coffee he finished just before they took their walk, delicious. His hands slithered up and down the sides of your body, feeling up every part of you as much as he could while pressing him own body into yours. He pulled back and his lips tugged at your bottom lip, sending chills down your spine, goosebumps slightly prickling your skin, he made you feel so euphoric with just a kiss.
“……I…..I love you…” You whispered between the continuous kissing, it just slipped out because it was utterly true. Your eyes snapped open just to find that he was already staring widely at you in return. The look on his face was of pure shock, but he quickly turned around hiding that said look and started dragging you by the wrist again this time inside of his home. “L-Look! You don’t have to say anything back! I…. I just wanted you to know how I felt!” You tried to explain, feeling your heart screaming in your chest while beating too quickly. He pushed you gently inside first, shutting and locking the front door behind the two of you before turning to face you again, a smirk on his slightly pink dusted cheeks. “S-Shouta…?” He stepped over to where you stood, still not replying to you or your confession, making your mind and heart do flips. Still without any words, he began to pull off his sweater and tossed it on the floor, his hands reaching the hem of your own shirt right after, tugging on the fabric. You lifted your arms and he pulled the shirt off, tossing it next to his own on the floor, beckoning you to come even closer. You pressed your skin against his own when you embraced him, the warmth of your upper bodies calming you a little more now, while you tried to figure out his actual reaction.
Suddenly his lips brushed against your jawline, his facial tickling your skin in such a wonderful way, you bit your lower lip at the sensation, feeling any sort of negativity slowly start to melt away as he peppered even more kisses on your skin. He worked his way down your neck until he found that sensitive sweet spot that made your eyes roll back and gave it all of his attention, a hand of his tangling within your hair. Your voice echoed through the empty apartment and your own hands caressed all over his exposed upper body, feeling him up as he did you beforehand. He groaned into your skin, loving your touch on his body but pulled his face away from your neck just as another groan escaped you to look down at your face again, this time through hooded lids. He was beyond excited, you could tell by his expression, the way he was breathing and the stiffness being rubbed against your stomach.
He bit as his own lower lip as it curved into a devious smirk which opened a few seconds after to allow his tongue to lap at both of your lips longingly. He pulled away slightly, giving your lips a little time to recover, he decided to finally reply to you, “let me show you…. just how much I love you.”
