RE: his man 2. I love your long rant because I agree with every point. I can tell everybody’s type by the man they pursue. Seonwoo- intimidating, assertive men. Yonghee- mature, older gays. Junsung- pretty. Hyun Jin- very physically attractive shorter men. Hyunjun- kindness, competence. Sungho- physical attractiveness and banter. Dabit (the oldest)- earnestness and attentiveness. but wow I think your ideal types are kinda spot on!!! which is interesting when you compare it to what they initially presented their ideal types as, bc some of them are pretty different. take seonwoo, he said he wanted an introvert that he can just have a chill, relaxing relationship with and yet he’s come into this house and seemed to start drama wherever he turns, which says to me he doesn’t actually prefer the quiet life like he says, otherwise he’d at least be handling the affection he’s received more like minsung, keeping it lowkey and being introspective, thinking seriously about who he likes, but no he seems too busy buzzing around everyone to actually address his own thoughts and feelings. and he does endlessly keep saying he wants to be chosen, to be pursued, which tells me you’re right, he wants someone more dominant and assertive. I think what’s stopping anyone from fulfilling that ideal type for him is that he wants the person he’s receiving attention from to be someone he likes, and it’s either that the people he likes aren’t like that, aren’t forward or chasing after him, and those that are aren’t people he has feelings for.

and similarly with yonghee, he came in saying he wanted someone small, cute, very much implying he wanted to be dominant and assertive, very much the kind of person seonwoo wants. but I think the people he’s gravitated towards are people that are older and more mature and yet still have some softness and cuteness to them, that’s why he worked so well on both his dates with jungwook and hyungjin, bc he can still feel like he’s taking care of someone and be kind and dominant in that way, but in return he gets taken care of in a more emotional way, he has someone then looking out for him, who cares about him and wants the best for him, someone he can find comfort in which I think is wonderful.

I also love that you said both sungho and junsung are looking for physical traits bc yes in a way but I don’t think it’s so vapid and surface level as I’m just here for the looks. I can’t put the relationship they have into words bc it just works so well in my eyes and I just feels like they find such comfort in each other already and I kinda don’t know how it happened but I’m so happy it did. and with the looks thing, both their careers are based around appearance which makes sense why they’d place importance on that, but I think it also means they gel well in their approach to those kinds of things, style and aesthetic and such, like they’re the couple that would just love to take cute insta pics on dates and find joy in visiting pretty cafes and nice sceneries. I’m getting ahead of myself now bc the delusions are jumping out but yeah… I just think they match so well. (Also what you said about banter… I think junsung is so good at matching the level of banter sungho has and wants in a partner)

and as for minsung… I didn’t know what his type was until the latecomers came, bc when they both came in you could see his eyes go wide. which says to me his ideal type is men, like pure men. he wants a man. and I don’t think there was anyone really like that among the original six, but both hyungjin and hyungjun fulfil that ideal perfectly. and I think it’s an ideal type that sits pretty equally between appearance and personality bc they both physically are bigger, broader and such, but also have a softness and gentleness to their personalities that creates this image of comfort, but they also both have this capacity to be both fun and cute, but also very much someone that takes care in that stereotypically manly boyfriend way. basically they found two people that are minsung ideal type and now he faces the ultimate dilemma of having to chose

I believe it was predictable that Taeyong was going to be at the top of this MTL. Taeyong has a lot to rant about. He needs an s/o who can listen to him and be understanding. Sometimes he might need advice, but most of the time he needs someone who can just sit there and listen. He’s a leader, which means that he hears a lot of complaints every day, I mean it’s NCT we are talking about, he needs to complain to someone too! 

Yuta seems like the type of guy who talks a lot. If he’s passionate about something he would like to talk about it and have someone to actually listen to what he has to say. I am sure he has a lot of unique views and creative ideas and it would be nice to listen to him. A feedback would be nice too, so he can actually feel that you listen to him and enjoy your little talks.

Win win seems like someone who has a lot of things on his mind. It’s hard for him to express himself since his Korean are not fluent yet (but our boy has been doing so well with learning the language I am so proud), so he needs someone to say the things he has on his mind all day long. Therefore, someone with the ability to listen and just be interested in what he has to say would appeal to him. Expressing yourself is something really important for your mental health, so he definitely needs a listener s/o.

At first, I was going to put Doyoung closer to talkers because he likes being around people and he needs someone to start conversations because sometimes this boy is awkward af, but then again he’s also a talker. He likes talking and he wants someone to listen to him without interrupting and/or ignoring him. That’s why he moved at the top of my list. 

Heachan is very energetic. He gave me a hard time, that’s why I put him in the middle. Although he would suit someone as talkative and cheerful as him, he would still need someone to listen to his worries (like mark *cough* MarkChan *cough*). He’s still really young and teenagers need someone who can listen to them without deprecating their opinions and ideas.  

In my opinion, Johnny would suit better a Talker. He’s quite close to listeners because listeners would eventually relax around him. But because of his cheerful and energetic side, the listener might be pushed back by his personality. Talkers would be more suitable for someone like Johnny. His vibrant and talkative self can attract talkers. He can approach them without fearing that he will get rejected. He would like his S/O to have as enthusiasm as he has. 

 Jaehyun, of course, wouldn’t force you to tell him everything. He just likes to listen to their S/O’s unstoppable ranting. I think he would find it cute, and that way he can closer and closer to you and what you are thinking. I think he would prefer your relationship to be comfortable, and the way to do that is telling each other your thoughts and concerns. 

Mark seems like someone who likes listening to people. He enjoys hearing jokes that can make him laugh. When someone has the gift to speak, Mark finds that person intelligent and attractive. Listening to his S/O ideas and opinions would make him happy. And he seems like a listener that can give a really good feedback.

Taeil is generally a quite person. He seems like someone who would like to have his quiet moments, but an S/O who can keep him company and entertain him is someone fitting for him. Listening to his S/O stories would relax him from his hectic idol life and daily routine. He might not answer you or give advice about what you are talking about but you know that he listened to your concerns and that he’s going to tell you his opinions soon. 

This is purely based on my opinion. Please don’t misunderstand,  this doesn’t mean that they definitely will or definitely won’t date someone within these ranges or not.
