Idk if I’ve made this post yet but you wanna know the biggest difference between Sony Venom and Comic Venom that I’ve personally noticed?

It’s that in the Sony universe I know for a fact that Venom is their own person, with their own personality and same goes for Eddie. That’s where a lot of their conflict comes from. It’s like two people with wildly different personalities sharing a house, except the house is body. Which is funny and would be cute if they didn’t make it seem like Eddie hated Venom sometimes 😭

In the comics, I couldn’t tell you where the symbiote begins and Eddie ends. I could tell you that the face we see a majority of the time is Eddie and the alien creature is the symbiote and that when they’re not together they’re either trying to get back to each other or trying to kill the other.

But when they are together and Eddie starts talking, hell when Venom starts talking, I can’t tell you for sure who’s in control of that voice. Their relationship in the comics can sometimes be so much more terrifying because yes they are in love but there is always that underlying question of is it really love or is it just a way for the symbiote to survive. This is cute and at times is just sheer existential horror.

Yo I noticed something. The episode did not end by thanking the guy who played "Satan" as a cameo role. I am pretty sure Satan isn't dead yet. They did with ep 10 for the actor who played the detective/Paimon role.

What if the twink of a villain violin works similarly to the way that Grifters Bone does? Like what if it isn’t just the Fears that have been passed and spread through the universes, what if it isn't just them that connect all these universes, what if their artifacts are the same. What if the vampiristic violin is related to the same instruments that Grifter’s Bone used to inspire such slaughter??? They have the same intentions-

In the episode that mentions Grifter's Bone, Jennifer Ling notes that their music was "the most achingly beautiful music" she had ever heard. The only instrument she notes is a keyboard and not a violin, like in the Magnus Protocol episode, however. But she does say that they were packing up their "instruments", so I assume that a keyboard is not the only instrument.

In the Magnus Protocol episode, the person writing the letter pretty much says that the music that the violin produced was beautiful, he calls it "divine". He was admired and grew famous. But the violin that he had was hungry for his blood and flesh. When he played and protected his fingers, not allowing the violin its fill, it took the audience as payment instead. He describes the gory scene in much detail. While Jennifer Ling merely notes that the room after Grifter's Bone was covered in blood.

Just a weird little theory to share with you all!
