hello hello!! <3 for the danmei fanfic nightclub, how about some chengxian mafia au? with the 4 big sects being mafia clans too. (it could also be omegaverse if u want, but not necessary!) :D
I got so carried away with this! Honestly, I think it could be it's own multichapter fic. Anyways, thank you so much for the prompt, any excuse to write Chengxian ;) I gave it an omegaverse flavour as requested (Omega Jiang Cheng for the win). Oh also... shout out for Cuckji:
It had been four months since Jiang Fengmian sent Wei Wuxian to the Lan family as a show of good faith. Now, his adoptive father was dead, and Wei Wuxian allowed the gang leader’s youngest nephew to fuck him every day to assuage his boredom.
In all honesty, Wei Wuxian hadn’t given his relationship with Lan Zhan much thought, yet as he walked into the member’s area of the restaurant, which served as the preferred conference room of the four great families, he couldn’t help feeling a little guilty about what Jiang Cheng might think. Yet that guilt quickly morphed into excitement when he actually saw his adopted brother. Positioned at the head of the table, Jin Zixuan to his right and Nie Mingjue to his left, Jiang Cheng carried the manner of a man who’d led a crime family for years. It felt bizarre to acknowledge the drive by shooting that stole Jiang Fengmian’s life happened a mere week ago. The sight of him made Wei Wuxian’s heart swell. Though the second he sat down, he soon became aware of a familiar scent, thick in the air.
‘The Wens’ are invading our patch again,’ Jin Zixuan said, starting the meeting in earnest, ‘We need to do something about them!’
‘I already told you, our mole knows their next location. We can easily set a trap to take out Wen Chao. He’s always been weak to women, no one would be shocked if he turned up dead in the pleasure district.’ Lan Xichen said.
Both appeared completely oblivious to the growing stench around them. It was sweet. a little floral and terribly nostalgic. Wei Wuxian racked his brain, trying to recall where he’d smelt it before. The meeting continued around him, but he failed to pay any attention to the schemes being put forward due to his own growing arousal.
‘Why does it have to be that club? Our girls are just as capable?’ Jiang Cheng wore an irritated expression.
‘I’m sorry, is nobody going to comment on that smell?’ Wei Wuxian asked unable to hide his frustration a second longer.
Lan Zhan frowned, ‘I assume an omega in heat is nearby.’
‘I know that! But why is it so strong in here?’ Wei Wuxian shot a pointed look at Jiang Cheng.
The other man’s face turned a shade pinker as he scowled, ‘Isn’t it obvious?’
‘Obviously not!’
Jiang Cheng covered his eyes with his hand, ‘You always ruin everything,’ he seethed before withdrawing his hand, ‘I wasn’t going to say anything until the end of the meeting, but apparently my brother is incapable of ignoring the obvious.’
He pointed to the door that led out to the car park, ‘Outside, a van is filled with some of our best omegas, all are in heat, all are skilled in delivering pleasure and have been chosen specifically to match your desires.              Consider it my gift to you all. A thank you, for your support in the wake of my father’s murder.’
‘That’s not necessary,’ Lan Zhan said.
Jiang Cheng glared at him, lifted his cup to his lips and downed the contents before he replied, ‘If you don’t want one, you can go home.’
‘I’ll take two,’ Nie Mingjue said, ‘So, let’s settle the matter of the Wens quickly, shall we?’
Wei Wuxian failed to listen to the outcome of the Wen issue. Instead, he studied Jiang Cheng for the remainder of the meeting, as though he were a science experiment. A faint sheen of sweat began to form on Jiang Cheng’s skin causing him to glisten when the light hit him just right, his breathing became increasingly erratic the longer the other crime families argued. Perhaps Wei Wuxian’s favourite observation was the way Jiang Cheng shifted uncomfortably on his seat every now and then, seeking friction, seeking release. It was equal parts dangerous and obscene. Jiang Cheng’s slick had always gushed from him, staining countless amounts of furniture and bed sheets. That he was allowing himself to be so lewd in front of the other crime families made Wei Wuxian’s cock rock hard. He imagined pulling him onto the table and defiling him right then and there, audience be damned. But if their criminal empire discovered one of it’s most well-respected families was run by an omega, a drive by shooting wouldn’t be punishment enough. Wei Wuxian knew what the men around him were like. If Jiang Cheng continued to push through, he’d find himself in a brothel serving all manner of pond scum by the end of the night.
The only option available to Wei Wuxian was to shuffle further under the desk to conceal his body’s reaction and hope Jiang Cheng was smart enough to wrap up the meeting sooner rather than later.  He continued to talk and so Wei Wuxian downed the jug of Emperor’s Smile in front of him.
Once all eyes were on him, he wiped his mouth and asked, ‘So, when do we get the omegas?’
He felt Lan Zhan bristle beside him, but Wei Wuxian didn’t care. That was a problem that could be solved back in Gusu, with a well-timed blow job.
Jiang Cheng moved to the door without preamble, ‘So impatient, have them now why don’t you!’
He opened the door  and the members of the Jiang family that manned it suddenly sprang into action. They opened the van’s back doors. As promised, a handful of barely dressed omega’s, slick shining between their thighs, rushed in, seeking an appropriate alpha to fill them up. Jiang Cheng managed to vanish in the chaos.
‘Let’s go,’ Lan Zhan said.
Wei Wuxian nodded and followed him into the corridor, the smell of Jiang Cheng’s heat assaulted his nostrils once more, subconsciously he raised a hand to his face.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘Nothing, nothing!’ Wei Wuxian waved the hand that covered his nose in front of his eyes, in a pitiful attempt to look casual, ‘I need the toilet before we go. Wait in the car for me?’
‘I can wait here.’
‘No! What if one of those omega’s comes out and tries to get you! I’d be so jealous! The car is much better. Please?’ Wei Wuxian punctuated his sentence with an adorable beam.
‘Mhm.’
With that, Lan Zhan left the restaurant. Finally alone, Wei Wuxian headed for the place he was certain to find Jiang Cheng.
As a result of the restaurant being Jiang Fengmian’s favourite, he’d been granted his own private room. A room Jiang Cheng now had access to. Wei Wuxian headed there without a second thought. Jiang Cheng was in a very sorry state, crouched in the corner, one hand clamped over his mouth to stifle his moans as the fingers of the other hand pistoned within him at a punishing pace. His trousers and underwear tossed to one side, ruined by slick after he’d tortured himself for forty-five minutes in a room full of alphas. In the close confines, Jiang Cheng’s scent was too much to bear and Wei Wuxian flew across the room to him like a wild animal. One hand clasped around his throat whilst the other pulled his hand away from pleasuring himself. Without even giving Jiang Cheng chance to respond, he shoved three fingers inside his wet hole, bending them just so, he brushed against Jiang Cheng’s sweet spot again and again and again.
Jiang Cheng instantly threw his head back and bucked his hips wildly, grinding against Wei Wuxian’s palm as he chased the sensations his brother provided.
‘What the hell were you thinking? Coming here in this state? Why didn’t you take your pills?’
‘Aah! I wanted – fuck- wanted you to notice me.’
Wei Wuxian ignored the way his own cock strained against the confines of his trousers and leaned in closer to press a kiss to the corner of Jiang Cheng’s parted mouth, ‘Don’t I always notice you?’
Somehow the question summoned a sense of lucidity within Jiang Cheng. He wrapped his arms around Wei Wuxian’s shoulders and pulled himself onto his lap, rocking against his erection he said, ‘I know you’re fucking him.’
‘I’m not,’ Wei Wuxian said. He retracted his fingers from Jiang Cheng’s eager hole and set to work unfastening his own belt.
Jiang Cheng whined from the loss, though he continued to dry hump him like a dog, ‘You’re such a liar,’ he forced the words out between pants and moans.
‘I’m not,’ Wei Wuxian promised, stilling Jiang Cheng with a firm hand so he could line his cock up with his entrance and take him properly, ‘He fucks me.’

I think this align with the first request of Yandere Baji vs Yandere bf but I wanted to think of an au and how it plays out
…we know everyone got their happy ending but let’s imagine instead of that toman the very last timeline becomes a bigger Bonten like organization
Baji one of the head executives of this large gang organization known for his brutality from boy to man even tho he is older, mature he still holds an iron fist but now add that iron first with a gun. Baji who Sees a very pretty thing in his eyes and he plans to make it his…he approxhaes you the issue is
Surposed your alreayd someone else’s pretty diamond….u belong to another Yandere Boss or executive organization from a different gang outside of Toman Bonten
Adding more this group can either be an enemy and your sadly the trapped wife of this executive or this organization plans to form an alliance with toman Bonten in order to share resources and your associated to Yandere bf executive.
Yandere toman Bonten Baji vs now a Yandere bf executive from a different gang but there’s a lot to think of especially how it effects toman and if Toman will get involved or if Yandere toman bonten executive Baji is on his own with his
This is long I’m so sorry…
- 🌑
i feel like baji has always sort of had a moral to never drag innocent people into gang bullshit, and even though he's now in the big shot organization so deep into crime that his hands are stained a deep, dark red, he still sort of has that moral lingering somewhere in the back of his head. or maybe that's just his excuse to break ties with the company that recently partnered with bonten--which, dumb excuse, cause he's killed some innocents before, he's seen innocents get snatched and then sold in the trafficking rings around tokyo, hell, he's even been to a few of 'em. but there's just something about you that drives him to get you away from that greedy, old bastard that happens to be your husband.
he wants you, that's indisputable, but for the sake of bontens recent alliance, he can't just take you like he can any other person. he sees the way your husband looks at you and the way he holds you tightly pressed to his side as if you were his prized possession, a mere object for him to display nicely by his side--you're clearly something important to the guy, or at the very least, too valuable that he wants to keep you from the prying eyes of outsiders.
it's just too bad you caught baji's eye, because he's not just gonna give you up. and with a well thought out plan and a little bit of digging, baji can have you for himself.
if he can't take you, he'll force you to come to him.

you will never be the one i love
gang au risa + navid wc: 1789
===
The venue space was quite crowded and full of life, but Risa couldn’t bring herself to care about her surroundings. Almost everyone was a criminal, but if not, associated with one, who turns a blind eye to their crimes and still interacts with them on a daily basis, all in the name of greed. Risa would normally be indifferent to this kind of thing as she grew up with this kind of stuff, but as she spent more time with non-criminals, it slowly changed her worldview and began to think differently. However, as the daughter of a high-profile mafia boss, she must hide her new-found thinking and pretend to still think however she did before. That was the only way to survive.
So she was here, swirling a champagne flute in her hands, trying to pass the time to go home. It's been about 3 hours since she got here. During the first hour, she was paraded around in the arms of Navid Reynolds, the man she was going to marry in about 3 months if she remembers correctly. Since her arrival at this event (can’t remember what for), almost everyone’s had their eyes on her. Some older gentlemen threw their jealous comments at Navid on how he managed to snag a beaut, which made her internally gag, others jokingly proposed to her and told her to leave Navid if he was being mean to her. She truly didn’t want to be here.
At some point during the event, Navid had left her to own devices, as he and some men had some criminal businesses to attend to. No doubt her father would attend that too.
Risa sighed. It pained her she couldn’t leave on her own and instead, had to wait for the meeting to be over. It wasn’t like she was completely alone. As she sat there, next to a flight of stairs, there were two bodyguards on either side of her, making sure she wasn’t in harm’s way and escaping, she thought it was on Navid’s orders. He’s been becoming more hostile toward her lately and she has no idea why. It was scaring her to the point where she’d flinch if he started yelling at all. She tried telling someone about it, but it fell on deaf ears as they deflect the notion Navid would do something like this. He was very nice, to begin with.
Even as he paraded her around, he was very forceful and held on tight as he walked around with her arms looped with his. It hurt. She inspected herself and could see her inner arm looking very red.
Just as she finished inspecting her arm, she heard the ringtone of her phone in her bag go off. She got it out and saw that Limbo was calling.
“U-Uh...” She called for one of the bodyguards. “Hey so, I think I need to use the lady's room if that’s okay with you. I drank a lot of champagne…” It was the best excuse she could think of and somehow that worked. The bodyguard she talked to nodded in approval and then promptly escorted her to the nearest bathroom.
The bathroom was luckily one room with one toilet and a sink, giving her privacy. She took out her phone and quickly called Limbo back.
“Hello, Limbo?” She spoke just as the line went through. “Riri!!” He replied back, with a smile on his face that she could sense. Hearing his voice again (despite seeing him the night before) put her mind at ease. “Hey, Limbo. What’s up?”
“Nothing really. Just wanted to hear from my girlfriend. I know we just saw each other yesterday but I can’t help but miss her again. You’re always on my mind.” She always loves to hear him say these cheesy things to her despite almost cringing at it. She’s still not used to it. She tries her best to reciprocate them. She giggled in response. “Me too. I can’t help but think about you all the time. I wish I could see you right now but I have some family stuff going on.” She can’t exactly tell him the truth but it was kind of the truth. “That’s okay. Maybe this weekend we can go on a date.”
She smiled. “I’d love that. I’ll look forward to it.”
Just as she was about to open her mouth to say something else to Limbo, she heard a knock on the door. “Oh, I think I gotta go. I was in the bathroom but I think someone else wants to use it too.”
“Hogging it as always, huh?”
“Hey! I’ll have you know, it's my fucked up digestive system that always uses my time in there. It’s not my fault.”
She heard him laugh. “Alright, alright. I was only kidding. I’ll leave to it then. I’ll see you on the weekend. See you, honey.” And with that, he hung up and she put her phone away. Risa turned the faucet as if she was washing her hands and wet her hands. “Ah, sorry I’ll be right out soon!”
When she opened the door, it turned out to be Navid. “Oh, Navid. Did you want to use the bathroom? It’s all yours now.” She nervously laughed.
“Not really. Just wanted to see where you were. After the meeting finished, I looked for you and saw you were gone from the table. The guards told me you were here.”
She laughed more in nerves. “Yes well. When duty calls, they say! I guess I ate something bad here.”
His eyes narrowed. “If you say so. Though I could’ve sworn I heard some giggling inside here. Not the kind of laughter one would do when a stomach hurts…” Crap, did she get caught?
Risa, trying to remain calm as she could, walked past him, hoping to escape this conversation. “Well, no matter what a woman does there, shouldn’t be anyone’s business.” She walked to the balcony that was near the bathroom for some fresh air before she felt a hand wrap around her wrist. “Hey!” She was yanked to turn around to face Navid. His face was telling her he wasn’t having it. It almost scared her. “N-Navid…?”
“Risa. I don’t know what games you’re playing but if you don’t want Limbo to get hurt, I demand you listen to me at once!”
She flinched at his raised voice but composed herself to later feign confusion. “Huh? Who’s Limbo?” She tilted her head like she’s never heard that name in her life. “Not sure what you’re talking about.”
He could only scoff at her acting. In hindsight, she wasn’t a very good actress. “Don’t go playing dumb on me, Risa. You know very well who that is.”
She didn’t bother replying and instead walked away a bit to distance herself from Navid. “You see, I had the pleasure of doing some background checks on this Limbo. See what kind of guy stole away my girl.”
“You didn’t have to do that! He’s just some random ordinary guy I met at a cafe. He’ll do nothing to you.” It was her turn to scoff at his ridiculousness.
“Oh? Some random ordinary guy, you say?” He laughed lightly. “You’ve got to be kidding me! All this time you spent with him and not once you actually figured out his actual identity?” She was handed a file, a rather heavy one. She opened the file and her eyes widened. “Your so-called random ordinary guy is one leader of a gang called The Fixers.” He explained, “They’ve repeatedly been pests that ruin your father’s operations for almost a year now. It’s a bit ironic that the daughter of Ramon Mendez is dating his enemy. I could almost laugh.”
As she flips through the file, she could Limbo’s profile in here as well as the friends that immediately welcomed her with open arms. The file has detailed their personal info, crimes, businesses and associates in it. “T-here’s…no way this is real! You just made this up!” She closed the file and handed it back to him. “I refuse to believe this!” Navid could only chuckle. “I wish I could lie to you but unfortunately, this is the truth.”
Risa took a pause to process her thoughts and feelings on the news she just received. Even if they didn’t tell her what they truly were, it didn’t change the fact they were so kind and warm to her. She made genuine friends with them and even more a genuine relationship with Limbo. In fact, she also hid her identity from them. So, she can’t say she’s been duped completely.
“Whatever his identity is!” She breathed deeply before starting, “I will not let you hurt him or his friends. And he’s a better lover than you will ever be. You will never be the one I love.” She spat with malice before she walked back to the doors of the balcony. “I renounce this marriage before it even begins! There’s no way I’ll spend more time with you. Especially after how you treated me recently. Goodbye forever, Navid.”
However, as soon as she got a hold of the door handles, she felt his hand grip her wrist more tightly this time. “Nope, you’re not escaping me this time. I will not hand over MY FIANCÉE TO THE LIKES OF HIM. YOU ARE MINE AND NO ONE ELSE’S. NO ONE CAN TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME.” She felt the cold steel graze her wrists as she realized Navid was handcuffing her. “Wha?! What are you doing? Let me go this instant!!!” She yelled, moving about. Navid then grabbed the middle of the cuffs so she moved with him through the balcony doors.
As soon as they moved inside, she soon discovered the room was completely empty. “Huh? Where is everyone?” She was confused, when did everyone go? Everywhere she looked, no one was around. “N-Navid! What trick are you playing!” She shouted for answers.
“Silly girl, everyone just went home. The event was over some time ago.” He laughed at her foolishness. “Well, it's time we go home too now. To our new home. Just for us.” She blinked. What new home? She never heard this before. She felt tears go down from her eyes. “I-I’d rather not. I-I’d prefer to stay over at my home. P-P-P-Please let me go, I-I-I don’t want to go anywhere… with you….” She whimpered in fear, being alone with Navid became her worst fear now. She wished Limbo would save her.
He turned around to face her once more and smiled sinisterly. “Too bad.” It was then she felt a light punch to her stomach before completely blacking out in his arms.

@runrubyred
“I hate you,” he whispered, flipping the hair of his wig back as he rolled his hips. Phoenix fixed his lips into a sultry pout, but his eyes spoke volumes, all promising pain when he got the other alone. To anyone watching, he was just another stripper working the patrons of the club and offering up a dance. To him and the person he was currently straddling, he was doing another job entirely. Carefully, he moved in close and pressed their bodies together, hands sliding down the lapels of the other’s suit. With quick and sure fingers, he made sure to slide a key card into their jacket. Before backing off, he tilted his head closer, leaning into the other’s ear and muttered, “You have five minutes. I’m not keeping them busy anymore than that.”

random but did u ever develop more of that assassin ren au with u as the like... mysterious + seemingly unknowing citizen he keeps meeting :0c
(The original au mentioned is here!)
I did a little bit more work on it, yeah!
Not terribly much, I ended up getting swept away with some stuff and life and all that lovely stuff.
I ended up working it to a point where I had my own place kind of carved out in this au, so hear me out!
I’ve always admired those people in films who do like, those reconstructions of master paintings and then those paintings get used during really big heists as duplicates! Now, I’m not saying I’m realistically at the level (or anywhere near the level) of replicating master paintings to that level. But I really love the idea that as a university student, it’s something I could do in this AU as a bit of a side hustle, you feel?
I get an order to recreate Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and paid in a large sum of money to do so. I’m not exactly going to say no to that money, it’ll pay the bills for a year or two and let me live a little (a lot) more freely. Could go out and enjoy life, you feel?
In the original post, I got the idea that Rose comes into my back yard wounded and a little disorientated as he’s escaping a selection of people who are kind of really pissed that he’s killed someone at their party.
Rightfully so, I mean, finding the leader of your gang dead in the water is really going to put a dampener on the whole affair. The window is essentially having all plans for that gang thrown out it, so that’s a big ol’ ripperoni pepperoni for that group.
But landing somewhere where he recognizes someone and that their home seems so inconspicuous that he could safely hide there would be essentially a godsend at that moment. I’m not going to shove him out on the street, I’m feeling for this man and I want to help him out and have an excuse to get to know him a little more! So I usher him in and get him some pain meds - I’m still a cheapskate so it’s going to be some home brand stuff compared to the specially made concoctions he drinks at the hotel upon his return.
He can spend the night resting in my guest bedroom, with a hot shower and me freaking out that um hello, Rose you’ve kind of got a knife sticking out your side???
Now he’s not really going to explicitly tell me that he’s an assassin, or why he’s in the area, and me finding a knife embedded in his side isn’t really going to encourage him to tell me either. Lucky for him I happen to have a friend who’s got a knack for helping those who end up in, shall we say, moments of complete dumbassery and mistakes. It’s usually me bringing him people I find that look like they’re almost dead.
I’ve got funds to spend in this au, so I pay him plenty to keep it hush that anything has happened. He gets paid more for Rose cause, uh, this doesn’t look like a mistake or a dumbassery decision. It looks vaguely intentional, which sucks.
But!!
But!
Regardless of being wounded or not, when the morning comes, I get to help Rose back to his hotel. It’s a little infamous among the groups I’ve worked with, so I’m not entirely in the dark about what he’s doing, it clues me in a little. But it’s not really my place to pry? But it is concerning.
It also leads to me putting out the offer of “if you happen to be in the area, for work or leaving work, you’re free to use my guest room again.”
Which he finds endearing because I’m that dork who’s stuttering and blushing at having him slouching on my shoulder while offering him a safehouse. He knows I’ve got some kind of idea, but he’s not sure where I’ve collected such an idea. Tips him off a little I know a little more than I let on, which, I kind of do, but I don’t entirely understand what I’ve got information on.
So it becomes this routine of him stopping by between jobs to use my home as a base while he surveys an area before executions.
And lets be real, it wouldn’t be me if that didn’t mean it would give Ren and I an opportunity to live in this kind of domestic lifestyle when he’s visiting. Making dinner while he’s there, him giving little notes that he won’t come back the next night because of work, letters in the mail letting me know he’ll be staying in a few days, obligatory accidental walking in on each other in the bathroom. He starts stashing a few things here or there in the guest room, and eventually he figures out that I’m really just a university student who’s wound up painting forgeries for big crime gangs to get ample income to afford the things I impulsively decide I want to try and buy.
Perhaps it goes the way of receiving a sponsor, and the need for paintings of that nature begins to dry up. He won’t say he’s the one depositing the money for me, but it kind of just gets figured out.
It hasn’t gotten to the point of being romantic entirely yet, but there are definitely the hints there that it might end up going that way. Who knows maybe it’ll be a big situation of being completely hopelessly in love with each other but having to maintain that distance of “we’re not actively together” so my life doesn’t get used as a potential bargaining chip when something goes awry. We’re trying to avoid that line of thinking atm.
But who knows where it’ll end up!

The Bad Guy
 Septics Inverted
A JSE Fanfic
We got a hero, we got a villain, but which is which? Or are they so tangled up that nobody can tell? Who knows? Actually I do, because I’m the author and I’m writing this blurb thing to conceal the mystery for newcomers lol. This is the story about Anti and Jackie I mentioned last week. It’s the first time Anti had any direct contact with the other boys, and then that became a regular thing and also one of the main driving conflicts of this AU. So yeah, rather important story to cover
Read the intro story: Part One | Part Two
Various other AU-related stuff found here

Jackie knew this city was hell. Sometimes he thought he was the only one who knew, who saw the signs even when taking a simple walk. Why else would he be the only one with the courage to do this? The only one who actively sought out information on what the gangs were up to next? The only one currently perched on the slanted roof of this warehouse, staring through the skylights, waiting for those criminals to show up? Either the citizens just didn’t realize how bad the situation was, or they were too scared to do anything about it.
His phone buzzed in his pocket. Thank god he remembered to silence it. Nothing much was happening on the floor down below, so he pulled it out and checked the text from Chase that had appeared on screen: You coming home soon?
Jackie rolled his eyes, then pulled off the glove on his right hand so he could type out a reply, chicken-peck style. No. Nothings happened yet
Im bored! Chase replied. Everyone is off doing work shit!
Go talk to Jack or something
Im not at home
Jackie paused. Where the hell are u then??? He thought he knew.
The little typing bubbles stayed for a while before he got Chase’s reply. I dunno the name of the place. Its on Forest Ave. Prices are low so i checked it out. But im still bored drinking alone! Cmon and join me here. Besides didnt you say theyd meet at 11? Its 1230 now and if their not there their probably not coming.
*They’re, dude Jackie glanced back through the skylight. It was true. Members of the Spotted Snakes gang were supposed to meet here at eleven to discuss weapon arrangements. Jackie had even heard there was going to be one of the leaders there. It would’ve been a perfect opportunity to eliminate them, but they hadn’t appeared, and by this point it was just insane for every member to be an hour and a half late. Something must’ve been up. Jackie sent another text to Chase: OK, Im gonna go down and check it out. If I find nothing Ill meet u there.
Whoo! Jackies going out on the town! :D
Night on the town! But dont count on it yet, still might be something up. Text u later Jackie shut off his phone. The skylight was unlocked, as he’d checked two hours ago, so he eased it open. There was a quite a drop to the floor of the warehouse, but luckily he’d prepared for these situations. His belt had a cable with a hook, for climbing easily. Jackie unwound the cable, hooked it around the edge of the skylight, and gently lowered himself down. The moment his feet touched solid ground he yanked on the cable until it unhooked, then retracted it back into his belt.
It looked like a normal warehouse. Huge storage boxes and crates were stacked along the walls and in rows, with a big empty space in the middle where Jackie had landed . There were long metal rafters holding up the slanted ceiling. A few of the large industrial lights were on, casting an eerie glow over the stacks. That alone must’ve been a sign someone was here, but they’d been on since before Jackie had arrived. Maybe they were on a timer?
Well, even if the gang wasn’t here, he might as well look for evidence. Maybe they had some of those alleged weapons stored in those boxes that he could get rid of. The warehouse could go too, they’ll lose a place to meet.
Jackie walked over to the nearest crate. It would be hard to open, even for him, but luckily someone had conveniently left a crowbar on top of it, maybe planning to open it later. Jackie picked it up and, with no small effort, pried the crate open. Nothing was in this one, just a bunch of loose packing peanuts.
One of the lights overhead flickered and died. That was...weird. There must’ve been a whole shitload of lightbulbs inside it, they couldn’t have all gone out at once. Jackie glanced toward it, but couldn’t see anything from this far away. He shrugged it off and moved on to the next crate, also empty. As were the third, fourth, and fifth one.
He had the strangest feeling someone was watching him. At first he put it down to paranoia, but as time went on the feeling only intensified. He stopped his attack on the crates and looked around. He couldn’t see anybody, but that didn’t mean nobody was there. Jackie shouldered the crowbar and stalked away, determined to find out if somebody was actually watching him, or if he was just going crazy.
Another light flickered off. The stacks of boxes were casting long shadows, where anyone could be hiding. Jackie didn’t like it, but he took advantage of it when he could, keeping to the edges of the stacks where the shadows were deepest. No one would see him coming, if anyone was indeed there.
A third light died, this time the one directly above him. And now Jackie was suspicious. Things like that don’t just happen. He glared up at the light, and caught a bit of movement high above. Something...slithery, like a flag in the wind. It definitely wasn’t a loose wire or anything with a normal explanation. Jackie tightened his grip on the crowbar. It wouldn’t do any good from down here, but just in case. “Hey!” he shouted. “If anyone’s up there, I can see you! Why are you hiding?”
There was no doubt about it this time: something big, person-sized, moved on top of the lighting fixture. Whoever it was, they didn’t answer.
“Your cover’s blown!” Jackie said. “And you’ll have to get down at some point. I can wait. Or you can just answer me.”
Nothing for a moment. Then out of nowhere, a person-shaped shadow leaped from the light and landed smoothly on one of the rafters. Something fluttered behind them, probably a piece of clothing. Jackie gaped. How...?
“You’ve got me,” a voice said. Jackie jumped. It sounded like it was right beside him and far away at the same time. And it also seemed familiar for some reason. “What are you going to do now, Jackieboy? Arrest me? Or am I too  dange͡ro͟ùs͏ for that?”
“I don’t even know who you are,” Jackie said cautiously. His eyes followed as the shape of the person jumped to another rafter. They—he?—shouldn’t have made that distance. It was much too far. And that voice...if Jackie hadn’t been living with Marvin, unfortunately, for the past year or so, he would’ve been so confused right now. But now he just suspected magic.
“You’ve heard of me,” the voice said. “But we’ve never met. You’d recognize my name if I told you.”
“Then why don’t you tell me?” Jackie asked. “I’m sure we can come to a...an agreement.”
The voice chuckled. “Like the agreement you have with your roommates? You look the other way, and they’ll help you get rid of troublesome tricksters? For someone who brags about his strong morals you sure like to let them bend.”
“How do you know about that?!” Jackie demanded. Then he reconsidered. “I—I mean, not the thing about morals. You’re wrong about that. I mean that I have roommates, and an arrangement.”
“I know a lot about you, Ja̶c͝ki̛ébo͟y.” The voice spat his name out like it tasted bitter. “And I don’t like any of it.”
Jackie growled. “Easy to say from up there. But if you were down on my level, I’d set you straight.”
“Ok̵ày̴,” the voice said, amused. Jackie wasn’t sure what exactly happened next. The shadowy hint of a person was suddenly not in the rafters anymore, and with an electric crack like a computer screen fracturing in two, there was someone right in front of Jackie. He gasped and backed up. The other person stayed stone-still.
The dark lighting fixture overhead burst back into life, while every other light in the warehouse dimmed and died. Jackie stared at the man in front of him. It seemed they’d found a seventh doppelganger: same hair, same build, same eyes. Well, not exactly on that last part, as his right eye was covered by a patch. He wore a black t-shirt, blue jeans with holes in the knees, and black tennis shoes. The green scarf around his neck must’ve been what caught Jackie’s attention up on the lighting. Jackie kept an eye on the man’s hands, in case the man attacked him, but his arms were crossed and Jackie couldn’t see a weapon.
“Well?” the man asked, grinning a bit. “I’ve stooped to your level now. Literally, of course, because I would ņev̷e̵r͢ mean that in the way it’s supposed to be meant.”
“You do realize I didn’t mean that, right?” Jackie said. He tried to sound casual, but he was very aware of the crowbar in his hand. “I get angry sometimes. I just want to know what you’re doing here. The Spotted Snakes were supposed to be meeting here, but nobody showed up. If you know something, I have to be in on that.”
“Why?” the man asked innocently.
“I—look, I—if someone is doing illegal shit in a warehouse like some sort of crime show, someone should stop that! That’s what I do!”
“And w̶h͡ò ̛gave y̨ou tha̴t ̀aut̢hor̶i̸t̵y̧?” the man growled. “The police? Maybe not the best, but they wouldn’t sanction this. The government? Absolutely not. Yourself?” He laughed. “Perhaps if you’d had the right idea, I’d let you. But instead, you have knives on your person and gasoline waiting for you outside. Do you understand why I had to tell them you were coming?”
Jackie blinked. “Excuse me?”
“Oh, come on. You noticed this place was empty. Did it not occur to you that they were warned the crazy vigilante would be stalking them tonight? How easy is it to send an anonymous text these days?”
“You little—” Jackie didn’t even finish his sentence before lunging forward, swinging the crowbar at the man’s head. But just before it connected, the man dissolved. That was the only word for it, he came apart like loose atoms flying everywhere. Jackie barely caught himself before he fell. The other man reformed to the side, his body still caught partly in that glitchy swarm state.
Jackie turned toward him, seething. “I’m gonna kill you.”
“Yoų'̷l͢l try͟.”
Jackie swung again, only for the man to dodge. And again, from the other side, to the same result. He tried a feint with the crowbar while going for a hit with his fist. The man disappeared and came back in the exact same spot. Jesus christ, couldn’t this guy just stop cheating for five fucking seconds?! Jackie gritted his teeth and flew forward, giving up on tactic and just trying in vain to land a hit. But he couldn’t, no matter what. The guy just dodged, or glitched out of the way, or let the hits pass right through him.
“T̕h̢i̛s ͢is get̡ţi͠n̢g̨ ͟bor͝i̶n͏g̀,” the man said. And that just made Jackie angrier. Was this a game to him?! Jackie went for one more two-handed swing with the crowbar. But the world broke. That was the only way to explain the momentary freezing of time, the way the surroundings became sharp red and green shapes, the loud hum of screaming static. Jackie dropped the crowbar in shock, then next thing he knew the strange man was behind him, wrenching his arms behind his back. Not enough to hurt, but certainly enough to immobilize them.
“Are you fucking—” Jackie did his best to stomp on the man’s feet or kick him or something, but he got no reaction no matter how hard he hit.
“I hope you realize yoų a͞re͟n'̸t̴ doin̡g ͠a̸ny͠thìng,” the man remarked. “Now. I have questions. You have answers. We can play a matching game.”
“Fuck off!” Jackie spat. “I’m not gonna tell you anything, and you can’t make me!”
“You don’t ḱn̨ow̢ that,” the man hissed. “Now shut up and let me start. Where’s Jack?”
Jackie stopped struggling out of pure shock. “Wait, what?”
“Where. Is Jack.” The man repeated. “I kn̢ow͠ yo̧u ̛k͠n͝o͏w. You’re one of his rotten  f̷̴͟r̵í͡é́͞nd̶͟͞s̛͢͞ that took him. Where is he?”
“Why do you—” Jackie cut himself off. This guy looked a lot like Jack. Could it be? “Wait...you’re his demon friend aren’t you? Anti. The one with the eye-patch that he talked about all the time.”
“Yes, that’s me,” the man—Anti—confirmed. “And I’m not a d̡e͡mo̡n͏. You’ve talked to him, huh?”
“Of course I have! He’s my friend, as you pointed out.” A smile curved his lips. “Which is more than I can say for you.”
Anti’s grip on his arms tightened. “Ẁh̷at̢ ar̸e͡ ̴y̛ou͞ ͏sa̡ying̡?̀”
Jackie laughed. “Just that he’s finally realized the truth about you. You’re a monster. A demon, as much as you deny it. He’s not gonna want to see you again.”
“Y̸̡͞o̡ú're̸̛ ̶̢͢ly̶̢̕i̷͟n̨̕g!̵͡” Anti shoved Jackie away from him, like he couldn’t stand to be near him anymore. Jackie landed hard on the floor, flipping over to face the glitch. The distortion had increased to the point where it was starting to affect the world around him. His visible eye had turned green, with a black sclera. There was a knife in his hand now, gleaming and sharp.
Jackie tensed, getting ready for an attack but not standing up in case that provoked him. “I don’t lie. I’m just telling you what he thinks. And if anything, it’s your fault for being that way. I’ve been told it’s easy to use bad memories from Halloween as a starting point.”
“ W̡͢h̵̢a̢̢̡t̡̕͠ ̨͟͝d͡͞id ̨͡yo͝͏͏u̷ ̷͠d͡o ͟͟to̴̷͢ ͏̛h̶̡i̢m?̷̧” Anti growled.
“I didn’t do anything. I just don’t stop people from doing things.”
“A̸nd how ͢n̴ob̕le͢ ́of̷ you!͠ H̴ow ͠h̕e̕r̵oi͏c̷!” Anti flipped the knife into a stabbing position. “Th̛a̸t's̸ exac̕tl̕y wh͡at ̕a͢ ̛s͡up̡e̵rh̨e͝ro wo̕u̧l̨d d̴o, s̢i͡t͠ a̡ro͠und and ͡watc̕h b̛y̸st́an̷de̢rş ̡b̷e͡ hurt͡.̛” His lip curled in disgust. “T͝oo̸ s͞c͏are̴d t͢o ̸e͝n̢dan̢ger̴ ỳou͏r̵ ̸l̸it͏tl͡e ́fr̸i͟ends̡hips͝ ̨w͢ith ́t̀he̷ ͏ba̷d ̧gu̢ys̴ to ̷do ͞so̶m̵et͢hi̶nǵ g͡ood͢ fơr on͠ce,̶ ̵t͟h̕en?!”
“I do good things all the time!” Jackie protested. “The streets are safer with me out on them.”
“N̴ó,̧ ͝th̶ey͡'͠re̕ ̕f͡uck͡in͟g̢ worse be͟ca͏use anyo̕ne̶ ̀cou͞l̨d̀ b͢e ͟dragged̷ ͠i͝ntơ an̵ ̵a͞lley ̶a̵nd ͟iǹt͟err̡ǫga͡ted ͢be̷cau͝se ̶th̸éy ̛ḿaý ̸be͟ a̧ cr̀i͠min͡a͟l̡!̢”
“You know what?!” Jackie stood up, keeping an eye on the knife. “Why don’t you stop accusing me and start looking for answers! I can take it! I’ll give you as much as I get, I can promise you that!”
Anti stared at him. Then, with a glitch, the knife in his hands disappeared. The distortion lessened. “I'̢m͏ ͝n͢ot l͞i̢k͏e̴ y̵o̴u,” he said bitterly. “Sometimes I think I could be. Bu̶t ̨I̢'̢m̶ n̢ó̵͡t̨̛.͟ And I’m trying to keep it that way, something your little group  is̢n͞'ţ h̨e͠l̛p̷i͏ng̛ wi̶th́.” He rolled his shoulders. “I’ll find him myself.”
Jackie was stunned. This wasn’t how he was expecting it to go. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. He didn’t get it. If Anti wanted information, why wasn’t he seeking it out? In an effort to cover up his confusion, he laughed. “Oh, good luck. Marvin’s got the house warded, and we got some upgraded manpower now that this new guy’s joined up.”
Anti smiled. “Thanks for that.”
Wait, no. “Wh-what?” Jackie stuttered.
“Now I know he’s just at your house. And I know where that is. So, th̢a͡nk͏s͞.͠” Anti turned on his heel and vanished in an explosion of pixels. All the overhead lights turned off.
Jackie just stood there for a moment. Had he really just? And given away information? But he was fine? This guy...this Anti guy...god, he was the worst. He was the fucking worst. Something needed to be done.
He leaned over and picked up the crowbar. Hey, no sense in leaving a perfectly good tool in the middle of an empty warehouse. Then he reached into his belt and took out the flashlight, making sure he could see in this new dark. He started towards the exit, taking out his phone on the way.
Chase, r u still there? he texted.
Almost immediate reply. Yeah dude! Not on Forest anymore, tho, so I guess youll need the address of the new place
No! Forget that! Jackie hurried to text. Look some big shit just went down and EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW. Get back home and tell the others im on my way
Damn dude whats the rush?
Yknow Jacks demon friend he used to talk about? The one James messed up his head of?
Yeah
Thats the rush. Now i remember Jack said this guy was all electronic so im not gonna give details but get everyone there right now. Call it a family meeting if you have to this is obligatory. Got it?
Wow. Okay that actually sounds important. On it, see you later
See u
Jackie exited the warehouse and entered the cool December night. This Anti was a threat. Not only had he interfered with Jackie’s plan, but now he wanted to get Jack back? Honestly, Jackie didn’t mind that second part so much, but he knew the others would, especially Chase. He couldn’t risk getting on the guys’ bad side.
And the way Anti had talked back there had really pissed him off. Like he was the one saving people. Nobody even knew he existed. Jackie knew he’d done more for this city than anyone else. And Anti had talked to him like that? Like he was the one messing everything up.
He was wrong. Jackie would prove it if he had to. He would show that this way was the only way.
Jackie started running back towards the house. First step was to let the others know. Next step? He hadn’t thought that far yet.
But whatever they decided, he would do it. The ends greatly justify the means.

Im Sorry - NCT/Mark AU (14+) Chapter 2
Chapter 2 - Haechan
Pairing - (NCT) Mark x fem!reader
Genre - a tad angst, the lightest pinch of fluff and a handful of sensual activity 😉 and it’s graphic! I like a bit of detail 😂
Word count - 1,573
Recap - your the new girl joining what looks like the perfect school, but what lies in the darkness? Who is Ten and what is his deal? Who’s his mysterious friend? More importantly, what are they going to do to you?
Authors note - There will be a chapter for each of dreams member’s interactions with y/n. Other members including the pairing will be included but it will have povs and stuff like that - something fresh? I dont really see it much with ff’s.
I only chose dream because in the series technically, dream are in y/n’s grade/year and u and 127 are in the year/grade above. If that makes sense?
Tumblr media
You finally regained yourself after saving the girl - Mai. Honestly, you were a little shaken by it but it was nothing to worry about; right?
You made your way back to class deciding to make the excuse that you got lost and ended up in the wrong classroom. You were hoping that news wouldn't get around about what just happened, why would it? One it’s none of their business and two why would they care? To your surprise as you walked in everyone turned and looked at you. You gulp at the sudden attention and notice a group of boys on one table. Him.
You spot the boy who watched Ten freak you out, no wonder everyone seemed to know who you was already. You noticed people were also looking at a girl in the corner, it was Mai. Realising that the teacher was waiting for you, you apologise. “S-sorry I'm late, I uh ended up in the wrong classroom...” you say nervously, not wanting to bait out the boy who was at the crime scene. “Fair enough, your seat is at the back with Mai.” the teacher comments, you see Mai suddenly look worried as you walk towards her. You could tell she was embarrassed and gave her a soft smile.
“We didn’t get to properly meet earlier... I'm-”
“Everyone knows who you are now y/n... It's all my fault”
You just look at her. What? You stopped her from getting slapped and just cause everyone knows you stood up for her its all her fault? You just had to question her; it didn’t seem right! “I don't get it, what’s the big deal?! I stopped him from hurting you! Why is it your fault? I don't care who this Ten person is he is a fucking dick!” She looked at you in shock. “d-don't you know who he is?” she asks, lowering her voice completely with wide eyes. “No?” you say, in fact, you were curious.
“y/n... He's a gang leader...”
You scoff. A gang leader? Were you supposed to be scared? “So what if he is? That doesn’t change anything” Obviously by the way Mai looked at you, you didn't understand the situation correctly at all. “y/n...” Mai said, trying to get it into your head but it didn't work. The bell began to ring and everyone rose from their seats. You were just about to get up from yours when the table was suddenly surrounded by the group of boys. there was 3 of them. One of them had dark brown hair - the boy who was with Ten earlier, another had deep burgundy hair and one had blonde hair.
“Enjoying your first day y/n?” one of them asked sarcastically. You laughed, “Oh it couldn’t get any better.” you joke, catching onto the sarcasm. The boy smirked however. “Be careful what you wish for.” Mai quickly got up from her seat but the boy just pushed her to the floor before she could even spit her words out. Suddenly you were grabbed by the back of your collar and dragged by the blonde boy. You shouted and told him to let go, but his grip was tight. You were dragged through the corridors in front of everyone - how humiliating. It didn't look like anything new though like they had seen it before. You didn’t even keep track of where they were taking you. It wasn’t long before the boy dragging you along opened a door and threw you inside.
“Look who’s finally arrived”
You froze as you were getting up. That was the voice of Ten, it was noticeable too. You sat up slightly and took a quick look at the surroundings; no windows, a sofa, tv, bathroom and a fridge. “this must be where they hang out” you wonder. It was you, Ten, and 4 other boys.
“I’ll fully introduce you to everyone here while I can feel bothered too.” Ten says, you roll your eyes and scratch the back of your neck. “I'm Ten if you don't already know, that's Taeyong,” He says as he points to each boy. “Chenle, Haechan and Mark.” Mark... that's the name of mystery boy. Ten squatted down in front of you, grabbing your chin and lifting it - you quickly hit his hand away. “y/n... you can either co-operate and we can get through this year happily or you can make this fun for us all.” he says to u, tilting his head and raising his right eyebrow. “Over my dead body.” you laugh. “Funny. We can work with that.” he laughs as he gets up.
“Haechan.”
Haechan? What does he mean Haechan? You look at Haechan and he looks from you straight to Ten. You could tell by his face he didn’t want to hurt you - well, you hoped.
“Tie her up.”
He was hesitant for a moment, looking at you with a face that clearly said “I'm sorry.” was he really going to tie you up?! You began to get up but before you could even stand u were pushed back to the group. “What the fuck!” you shout at Taeyong- who just pushed you. He laughs at you as Chenle holds you down and Haechan ties your hands behind your back. “Alright jokes over! let me go!” you yell. “It would be such a shame for you to miss your next lessons now wouldn’t it?” Taeyong scoffed. Ten grabbed your elbow and pulled you towards the sofa, throwing u onto it back first. You couldn’t even get up and it felt so uncomfortable. “Let's go boys.” Ten says, leading the boys out and locking the door behind him.
Haechans pov
Wha-? He wants me to tie her up?! Uh- fuck. I looked at her and instantly regretted it. She looked at me with such innocent eyes- no wonder Ten chose her over Mai. Mai was pretty but fuck y/n is something. We’ve been commanded to call her ugly though. I know I’m going to regret everything tonight but I have to do it. So I go to grab the rope and flinch when I hear her thud to the ground again. I keep saying I’m sorry in my head, hoping she could hear my apologies. Ten hasn’t even told us why we’re doing this to these girls; we are supposed to find out soon but apparently, it’s Tens business. What does Ten need from y/n? I start to tie her hands behind her back, I hear her wince in pain as I tighten it too tight. I loosen up my grip without making it noticeable but I could tell it was still too tight.
It felt like an eternity that you were there trying to get off of the sofa; it wasn’t as easy as it looks. It was only until you heard the door unlocking again that you attempted to escape.
The door opened slightly, then a head popped through. It was Haechan. He closes the door behind him and runs over to you. “Sorry...” he says whilst he lifts you into a more comfortable position. “What is his problem!” you say, questioning why she was just tied up for no reason. “Y/n.. you shouldn't have gotten in-” “I know I shouldn’t have! Am I not allowed to stick up for someone? Like I had any clue he was a gang leader!” you argue, you fumed with anger - but you didn't want to show it. “I know, but it's out of our control now. Once Ten makes up his mind that's it.” Haechan apologises. He unties you and checks your wrists, “I didn’t do it too tight did I?” he asks, “Uh- no, it wasn’t tight” you lied, your wrists were red and sore. Honestly, you didn’t expect one of them to have a side like this. Ditching class to help you after tying you up. You both get up and walk towards the door. Surprisingly Haechan stops you.
“Hide”
“What-?”
Before you knew it you heard the voices, you made no hesitations to run into the bathroom. What a stupid move!! ugh, y/n could you get any worse at hiding spots?!-
“Where the fuck is she!?” you hear a loud shout, and then a thud. Did he just hurt Haechan? and who’s shouting?! “I don't know! I just got here!” you hear Haechan call out. “Fuck... Don't any of you dare call Ten. Split up and find her before Ten gets back. NOW!” the voice shouts. You became worried. What the actual fuck? you were speechless.
Haechans pov
Fuck, I just untied her and now they are coming?! I tell y/n to hide quickly and make it out as if I just looked in the bathroom. Lucas, Jungwoo and Jaehyun walk in. I would have expected Jaehyun to flip out at me but Lucas did- he punched me in the face and knocked me to the ground. All I could reply with was that I had just got here. We all went out to “look for her” but what were they going to do to her?
You waited silently for a good 5 minutes, making sure nobody was there before attempting to sneak out. You were so sure nobody was in the room, slowly opening the door to the dark room. Not a single breathe in range. You sigh with relief as you open the door fully and step out of the bathroom.
2 words, Big Mistake.

okay I’m just gna drop it here bc I need to get it out of my head.
So it’s a sort of modern crime au but not really crime but sort of like godfather-ish mafia-ish
It follows a sort of similar storyline to rq like “rags to riches but it really isn’t pretty”
It goes like this: cal is the heir to America’s largest weapons/arms empire. His father basically owns that business.
And he goes to this super cool private school called idk let’s make it Archeon high or something
Cal, other than running his father’s business, wants to be a politician. He wants to make things better for everyone. So you could say he’s politically Woke to a certain extent.
That’s why he likes going out to know... other realities.
In one of these outings he meets a particularly interesting thief, who was stealing money from him with the intentions of escaping the country with her sister and best friend. Why, he doesn’t know.
A few weeks later she comes to his home. He’s extremely confused. Elara, his stepmom, explains to him that she’s Mareena, the daughter of Ethan, who used to be a friend of his father’s
Mareena apparently had been found as a baby, orphaned, and taken under the wing of a family from the Bronx. But she recently had discovered the truth about her birth, and the Calores had decided to honor the memory of Mareena’s father by giving her the life that was taken away from her.
So she’s coming to live with the calores and is gonna go to their school and have that life, you know the drill.
But it’s all a lie, a cover to protect a conspiracy that could ruin the calore’s empire forever.
A conspiracy involving the illegal trafficking of arms, and money laundering. They are accusing Cal’s father of cocaine trafficking, and using the arms business as cover for that.
This conspiracy was apparently started by the cygnets, a big name in politics, with the goal of getting Calore completely out of the picture. But of course, Elara isn’t gonna let this happen.
The cygnets are our for blood, and if they are, then so are the calores.
And Mareena is the perfect cover for the calores to the press and the government.
Mareena is actually mare barrow, a seventeen year old born and raised in the Bronx, who by chance got herself involved in this huge conflict.
Chance being negotiating with a Bronx gang without knowing that they worked for the cygnets, well known drug dealers among the Bronx. By making a very wrong move during a negotiation, the cygnets were out for her blood and her information, which would most certainly cause the calore’s downfall. To avoid This, she was looking to outright flee the country, with her best friend kilorn and sister Gisa, who also got involved.
But, once the calore’s find out about her, they decide to use her to their advantage, use her as an excuse. And so, for the safety of her family and her gang, she decides to accept their offer... because she didn’t really have a choice. You don’t really fuck with arms businesspeople who also happen to own drug empires.
And that’s where it takes off. Cal finds out the reasons for mare being there, secrets about his own family, the alliances made and broken, and there’s a lot of fun and teen angst and just noir drama.
It’s more of a red queen reimagined as a noir than like and original idea but 🤘🏽
It’s very rough lmao u can tell the big important bits aren’t really there yet because I literally just came up with this while reading kc idk I just was feeling like modern auing and so here goes nothing lol idk if I’ll even write it but like,,, at least it exists as an idea.
omg I just had an Idea for a rq modern au
