I am constantly thinking about gender in the galidraan au. To the point that even the cis characters are a little weird with their gender in the rough drafts.
#chit chat#the more i write this the less sense gender makes in star wars lmao#i have mandalorians. famously gender neutral society.#i have anakin. first language huttese. seemingly no gender there either. hutts produce asexually.#i have the jedi. who don't seem to differ in their training or their clothing based on sex.#hell the only jedi i know of who wears dresses instead of tunics is plo koon#maybe tyvokka too i can't remember#gender seems more and more like something that characters have to contend with from other people instead of something they have themselves#oh yeah and the clones. who knows what's up with their concept of gender.#oops i have accidentally queered all my characters#to the point that andra and den stand out because they have discrete concepts of their genders and sexualities#whereas pretty much everyone else rn is like whatever homie gender was invented by the republic to sell more clothes#lol
