NSFW Headcanon Request: Steven Grant (Moon Knight)
Tumblr media
Steven Grant + Sex Tape: (prompt list here)
(part two of these 'recording' headcanons)
- After the heart-warming success of his first accidental intimate recording with you, Stephen would find himself revisiting that tape over and over again. Any time you have to leave him for a weekend alone, out comes his little camcorder so he can eagerly relive that special night and try his best to make up for missing your touch that night.
- But as much as he loves that precious gift you left him, he can't help but want to make a new one, something you both create together and maybe even equally could enjoy together on another night. He wouldn't be able to ask out right though, instead he'll drop a dozen tiny hints, mostly about how much he loved that first tape, and how incredibly beautiful you look when he's making you feel good, and how much he loves you, and loves having that precious memory documented to relive over and over.
- You'd of course give in to his less than subtle suggestions pretty quickly, his response to your video just the sweetest thing you could have imagined, and feeling so safe with Steven that you don't have a single worry about that footage going anywhere, or looking less than perfect, or anything like that because you know that man respects and worships every cell of your being.
- You pick a date for your very special date night, picking out a new set of lingerie for the occasion (and because it's so fun to surprise Steven with something new and watch his little brain immediately melt down to a mumbling mess.) By the time you get to his flat there's more candles lit than in a cathedral, and he's spent a week's pay of a very special bottle of wine that you once got as a present and so generously shared with him, on a night you two passed giggling sweet nothings to each other.
- After a glass of that sweet thoughtful gesture you two find yourselves all hands again, so giddy with excitement as you stumble towards the bed that you almost forget to turn on the camera, Steven reluctantly pulling himself away from your lips just long enough to oh so kindly ask,
"Love, are you sure you're alright with this? We don't have to if you're worried at all, I'm just so grateful that I even have one video of you. Or that I get to do this with you at all." You cut him off before he can start monologuing about what a privilege it is to be in your life in any role, the lovestruck man staring at you with stars in his eyes, so in awe of everything about you.
- You suitably reassure him that you feel just as lucky to love him, and finally you start the camera filming, pulling him towards you until you're confident he's framed in the shot, slowly moving your lips to his neck. As you lick and kiss your way along his throat, drawing soft strangled sighs from the nervous boy, your fingers trace down his shirt and start pulling it at his buttons one by one, until finally you can push it off his shoulders and reveal his broad chest to you and the camera. You can't stop yourself from running your hands over his muscles, looking forward to rewatching this moment and stopping Steven from folding inwards or hiding himself from the camera. You can tell he's still up in his head a bit, not as passionately exploring your form like it holds the secrets to the universe the way he usually does.
- Trying to draw his focus, you tip him back on to bed and climb on top of him, pulling your dress over your head and giving him a full view of the special outfit you had on underneath. His jaw drops and his eyes practically shoot out of his head as he starts excitedly babbling about how 'truly perfect you look' and how 'every colour seems to have been made for you', and suddenly his stage fright is forgotten and he's pulling you back in for a kiss as his fingertips trace along the lacy fabric, before slipping underneath your panties and rubbing slow circles against your clit. You find your hips moving in time with his rhythm, the excitement of knowing Steven would be able to watch this moment again enough to heighten the sensations. As your temperature starts to rise and your thighs start to twitch you make a point to arch your back and gasp out his name for the camera, immediately earning a groan from Steven as he starts to buck against your hips.
- You pull his fingers out of you with a whimper, and make quick work of undoing his belt and sliding his pants down his legs until his manhood springs free, letting you take a long slow lick of him that has Steven panting and begging for more. As you slip your lingerie to the side, mounting his lap and hovering just above his leaking tip, you notice his eyes drift behind you, the red blinking light pulling him back to reality from his throws of passion.
- Less than pleased that Steven is able to look anywhere but up adoringly at you, you slam your hips down against his, taking his full length in one breath and clenching down on him at the deliciously full feeling of having him buried inside of you. Right on cue his turns his attention back to you, gazing up at you in shock as you cup his face in your hands and state very clearly in your most seductive pur,
"Now Steven, the least you can do is keep your eyes on me."
"I'm sorry love, I just remembered about the - but it doesn't matter, I promise, I only want to look at you." Taking mercy on him, you start to roll your hips, before you finish your negotiations,
"That's good to hear, because any time you look at that camera, I'm going to stop moving." You pause your riding in emphasis as his gaze turns pleading, nodding quickly and begging you to move, promising to be good as you go back to sliding your hips against him, drawing out louder and louder groans that start to fill the room around you. You watch as his eyes trace along your content face, your bouncing chest, your wiggling hips, and finally your glistening entrance where he can see himself glide in and out of you, your own excitement dripping onto him with each thrust. It's almost too much to take and he feels his climax quickly approaching, his fingers returning to strum against your clit as he tries to hold off his release. Then his eyes dart behind you for a split second and suddenly his building pleasure starts to drop as you still your hips, desperate apologies falling from his lips in a plea.
"I'm sorry love, I didn't mean to, please keep going, you feel so incredible..." His core is aching with the tension bubbling inside it, so close to release and having no choice but to let you sit there on his throbbing erection until you see fit to forgive him. Luckily for him it's very hard to act mad at those puppy dog eyes, and when his touch feels so good between your thighs you know you won't be able to hold off much longer either.
- "I just need you to keep those beautiful eyes on me okay Steven?" You sound merciful, and he lets out a sigh of relief, until you add "and definitely don't let them close."
He's about to ask what you mean when suddenly you start bouncing on him with every ounce of strength in your thighs, riding him faster and harder as you feel him start to tense beneath you. He keeps his eyes firmly locked on yours, mouth hanging open in sheer ecstasy as he watches the confident smile on your face start to fall into an o as you get closer and closer the edge. He works you with his fingers, holding back his own climax and praising you as you climb higher and higher, finally crying out his name as your wall clench around him, your whole body shaking with the overwhelming release as pleasure washed over you. Steven is right behind you, his hips lifting up off the bed as he erupts inside you, legs trembling and hands clutching at your waist, making sure you can't possibly climb off of him.
- You collapse against his chest, resolved to spending a little longer with him deep inside you, Steven's arms only coiling around you tighter as he presses soft kisses to your forehead and pants out that he loves you so bloody much.
- It takes a little while for either of you to get up to turn off the camera, Steven finally volunteering to leave the bed, only to grab the camera of its stand, step back towards you, aiming the lens at your satisfied face before letting it drift down your spent body, stopping when he sees his own load drip out of from between your legs and feeling himself start twitching with excitement again. The last sound the camera picks up is Steven mumbling quietly to himself, "how did I ever get this lucky?"

Always Beautiful
Pairing: Lindir x reader
Summary: In preparation for your first official date together with Lindir, you bought a beautiful dress. When you put it on, however, you get insecure about how it looks on your body.
Warnings: insecurity
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Tumblr media
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
You looked down uncertainly at the glittering dress you had bought especially for Celebríans begetting day. But now that you were standing in front of the mirror, you doubted whether it had really been such a good idea.
The dress was a lilac colour and very tight-fitting. You had actually really liked the dress, but now that you were looking at yourself in the mirror, you had serious doubts.
It didn't seem so pretty anymore since you had put it on, at least that was your impression.
Since Lindir had confessed his love to you two weeks ago, it was the first time you had planned to go out together and you had intended to look beautiful. But now that you looked at yourself, you could hardly see anything you considered beautiful.
You bit your lip to stifle the tears that welled up in your eyes. You just wanted everything to go perfectly that evening. What if Lindir didn't want to be with you anymore? Or if he would regret confessing to you.
As the first tears escaped your eyes, there was a sudden knock at the door. You flinched in horror and wiped your cheeks. Was it that late already?
You had completely forgotten the time and now Lindir was already there to pick you up. You hadn't even managed to comb your hair yet.
But you couldn't just leave Lindir standing outside the door.
So you took a deep breath, turned round without another glance at the mirror and opened the door.
Lindir had tied his hair into a neat plait, which made his cute face stand out even more. He also appeared to be wearing his finest robes.
You were actually toying with the idea of telling him you weren't feeling so well. On the other hand, he had seen you in the dress a long time ago and there was this pleased and excited gleam in his eyes that made you feel queasy just at the thought of leaving him sitting there.
"You look beautiful," he suddenly whispered and you could see his cheeks turn bright red.
You didn't quite know why, but this comment brought more tears to your eyes and you couldn't do anything to stop them.
Lindir carefully reached for your hands and squeezed them gently. "What is the matter? Did I say something wrong? I am sorry."
"No." You sniffled loudly. "No, you didn't do anything wrong, it is my fault."
Feeling his warm hands actually calmed you down a little, but you still couldn't really stop crying.
"I look terrible!" you said out loud and pulled your hands away from his again. You didn't quite know why, because as soon as you did you missed the warmth radiating from his fingers.
Lindir let out a surprised gasp. "No, you don't at all!" he said hastily. "I have never seen anyone so beautiful."
You wrapped your arms around yourself and looked down. His words barely got through to you, because you didn't believe they were true. "I am not- "
And that's when Lindir gently put his arms around you and pulled you into a soft embrace. "Yes, you are." he whispered softly into your hair. "If you cannot see it with your eyes, then let me tell you. You are beautiful. The dress frames your beautiful body perfectly and would only be half as beautiful without you wearing it, but you would be just as beautiful without it as you are with it. And your hair shines as brightly as ever in the sunlight."
"Even though I haven't even combed it yet," you sniffled softly.
Lindir laughed softly. "You are always pretty, even with your hair in a mess." You could practically hear the blush in his voice.
You hugged him tighter and sighed. You really needed those words. "I am sorry we are late because of me."
"Oh, that is no problem. As long as I am with you, this evening is a success." he whispered gently. "If you want, I can comb your hair."
"Gladly." you said and the thought of feeling his warm fingers in your hair made your body tingle with excitement. "But can we stay like this for now?"
"Of course, Meleth nîn."

All the stars aligned- Alhaitham X Gn!Reader
"And what name should I put?"

T/w- Bookshop au
Summary- What happens when a pretty man like him walks into a bookshop?

Taglist form
Tumblr media
Working in a bookshop was lots of fun, when you weren’t serving customers or packing shelves you were able to take a moment to enjoy your book. The best part though was seeing the people who walked in. You were able to see their tastes in books, there styles of clothing and how at peace they looked. For most people book are an escape of sorts, they replace the life you have with a new one every time you pick up a book.
Today was one of your best days in the months you’d worked here so far. You hardly had any people walk in which meant you had time to sit and relax. You picked up a book you had been meaning to read for so long. Finally I have time to read. Well that was until he walked in.
He looked perfect. Perfect was probably an understatement, but no other words could describe him. A tight turtleneck, a lovely tricorn black coat, and his pants were an oxford grey. He had a black pair of headphones perfectly placed over the top of his smoky grey hair which had green tips. The male walked into the bookstore without so much as a glance in your direction, which you were glad he didn’t, he would have certainly noticed the colour of your face. You could feel your face growing hotter with each second he was in there. God what was he doing to you.
“I’d like this one, please.” His facial expression showed barely any at all.
“S-sure.” Archons why were you stuttering? “Have you read any of her other books?”
He only nodded, still keeping that same expression. Was he always this cold towards people? You nodded, not sure how to respond even though you asked the question. You weren’t always like this with people who walked in. It just seemed to be this man in particular.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome to enjoy the book.” You flashed him a warm smile, which he did not return.
A few week later the same guy returned to the book but this time looked at you when you walked in. Had you forgotten about him? Of course not! This time he came up to the counter with a book by another one of your favourite authors.
“Guess we have similar tastes.” You added a little chuckle for good measure. You were just trying to be polite. He was sort of on the verge of being rude, but also not.
“I guess so.”
This continued for months, he came in, bought a book you made small talk, then he left. That was until you decided to break the loop and ask for his number.
“Y-you want my number?” Yes! You’d broken his stone face.
"Yes I do." You might have seemed confident but in reality you were a mess.
"Oh alright then." He quickly looks around like he's looking for something. "You got any paper?"
"Ah yes here."
He hands you the bit of paper and you can feel yourself sweating with anxiety.
Oh my god oh my god. He gave me his number!
"And what name should I put."
He smiled for the first time since you'd seen him, god it made him look even more beautiful. "Alhaitham."

Taken a Chance
Jack Krauser x female, military reader
Requested by: @zer0pm
I think you entertained this idea before… we know Krauser was like a father to his squadron. Imagine he was absolutely smitten with one of his soldiers (can be reader/oc- your call) and one day, he bites the bullet and decides to let his feelings be known.
He takes them to the side, talks them up, and right when it seems like they’re on the same page and things are looking up for our super soldier- bam! They get the call to order for a certain “operation”. And they have to put their conversation on hold.
Sorry, I may have put in too much but if this seems like something you’d love to tackle, I’d love to read it. Love seeing your stuff~
Warning: Spoilers for Operation Javier and RE 4 remake. Fluff. Light angst at the end.
Word count: 1,488
I LOVE THIS!! Thank you so much for requesting this!
Please enjoy!
Tumblr media
Krauser made no attempt to hide the smile that lifted his lips a little as he watched [Name] step out from the army-van, along with her comrades, most of them smiling and cheering at their completed mission. Amidst the mass of movement, camo-wearing beings, he could always isolate her out of them. Every single time.
He greeted and welcomed back every single one of his men as they passed him, proud to see them back. But his eyes lingered when [Name] approached him, a smile on her lips as she looked up at him.
"Major Krauser." Her smile cut through him and his own smile grew warmer as he nodded his head back at her,
"[Surname]." His eyes took note of the splotch of purple and blue on her cheek, his brow furrowing very lightly. The sight of it making his chest twinge at the idea of her being hurt in someway. But she was tough, he knew that better than anyone. He trained her, after all. The two stood there for a moment, an air of uncertainty simmered, words both wishing to say but unable to do so.
"Um... I'm gonna... get washed up and... yeah." [Name] forced out with a polite nod of her head before walking off. Krauser watched her leave before silently cursing himself. He had this whole little thing planned in his mind about talking to her, trying to find an excuse to be alone with her. And yet, when the opportunity presented itself, the words refused to come out. Krauser never had any issue barking orders at the rookies, in fact, he often enjoyed it.
But with her? He couldn't even form a proper conversation, stumbling almost like he was back in high-school boy. [Name]'s presence, her existence, it touched something deep inside him that he had buried down, long-forgotten corner of himself, and now, he longed for it. He longed for her to be his.
He watched as she rushed off, catching up with her fellow comrades that were gathering together before she disappeared entirely from sight, twinges of disappointment gnawed away at him once she was gone. He gathered himself and went to continue about his duties, trying to get the thought of her out of his head.
There were bits of paperwork he needed to organise and whatnot. Planning out further training routes. They were going to be taking a trip through the jungle soon, to see how prepared they were for a serious mission. Sharing tents wouldn't be fun, but they would all have to suck it up and accept it.
Maybe he could share a tent with [Name]? Purposely arrange it so she had to share a tent? A heavy sigh left his lips as he ran his hand through his slicked back hair. "Fuck it." With that, he set the pen down on his desk and stood up.
The mess hall was quieter at this time of the afternoon, as everyone had finished eating and gone to take a small break for the evening. A handful of people remained, scattered about either in small groups or their own little world.
Among a small group, he could spot her [Hair colour] easily from across the room, like a black dot on a sheet of white wallpaper. His chest warmed, and he had to fight the smile that tried to form. He had to remain professional among the other rookies. He walked over, taking steady strides as he closed the space between them.
"[Surname], my office, five minutes." His stern voice made the younger woman blink, confusion on her face but she smiled regardless.
"Ooooo! You're in trouble, girl!" One of the soldiers teased as Krauser walked off, the rest of them chuckled a little.
[Name] joined in the chuckle, though she couldn't help but wonder what Krauser wanted. She hadn't done anything to earn her Major's anger, right? From what she gathered, he was quite happy with her progress. Maybe it had something to do with the recent mission?
Questions spiralled in her mind as she watched Major Krauser walk off, her eyes trailing along his build before he vanished. He did have a nice behind. She waited a few minutes before approaching Major Krauser's office. A light anxiousness chewed away at her for a moment before she knocked on the door, entering once hearing him from inside.
Krauser stood with his back to her, taking a breath then turned around to face her. His expression unreadable but held a faint softness around the edges, a softness that he only held to her and her alone. [Name] stood straight, her form professional as she addressed her Major. He nodded his head, a silent manner of telling her to stop.
"You wished to speak to me, Major?" That anxiety from before came flooding back into her mind, swimming around noisily, spilling questions upon questions, doubts drenched in deeper doubts.
"I did, [Name]." His use of her first name both sparked joy and panic. His posture attempted to relax but something kept it firm and stiff despite his best efforts. "As you're aware, your progress here has been incredible. I dare say you're one of the best damn soldiers I've ever seen." A light bubbling sensation filled her chest at his praise, her eyes lighting up in that manner that made him smile, knowing that he caused that spark in her eyes.
"Thank you, Major Krauser. I have only you to thank for that, given your teachings." Now it was his turn for his eyes to lit up. Krauser was always strict with his teachings and his training.
"Coming from you, that means something else." He smiled, his eyes locked on her, taking in every little detail of her form, her face. All of it. "I won't lie, and I'll get right to the point." He took a deep breath and straightened himself, "I can't stop thinking about you."
There were so many things he wanted to say, wanted to spill out to her, but he needed to keep himself composed and organised. He won't crumble because of some emotions. "For some time now, you've been on my mind. You're remarkable. A damn fine woman who won't take shit from nobody. I respect that. And you." She looked up at him, those beautiful [Eye colour] eyes gazing into his soul.
It was hard for him not to smile at her. "I'm not the best with words, and I care about you. Deeply." All these thoughts, this moment, he had played it over and over in his mind countless times. Picturing how he would tell her, how he would confess to her. Even now, it felt difficult but he pushed through it. He would never back down against anything.
[Name]'s expression was soft, gentle and warm, a ray of sunlight in his life, as she always had been. Slowly, she took a step closer and carefully reached her hand out to his. He allowed it. His heart hammering in his chest as her hand gently slid into his hand. Their size difference was always humorous to him. Her hand fitting into his perfectly like a lock and key.
"Major Krauser." She smiled at him, "Jack." His heart hammered louder at this and he tried hard to control his breathing. "I lov-"
Before she could finish her sentence, the door opened up and she quickly yanked her hand away from him, stepping back and looked over. It took great self-control for him not to reach out after her hand, chasing that gentle warmth.
"Forgive me, Major Krauser." A solider spoke, saluting as he stood there, "There has been an update, Operation Javier has been pushed forward. The unit is to leave today." Twinges of disappointment flicked at this as [Name] nodded her head as the solider left, turning to Krauser.
"We'll continue this after the mission, okay?" She smiled at him, ready to leave before stopping. She turned back around and walked up to him, leaning up on her tiptoes, and letting her lips press a soft kiss on his left cheek. With that, [Name] dashed off to meet up with the unit to get ready.
Krauser could still remember that day as vivid as ever. He stood by the edge of the cavern, his eyes holding a distant fog to them. In his hand, he held a dog-tag between his fingers.
'Lieutenant [First Initial] . [Surname] U.S Army - Special Operative'
The scar on his left cheek twitched at the memory of her lips on his skin. His eyes shifting up towards the night sky, the stars more dimmer than ever. "We never continued our talk after the mission, [Name]." He thought aloud, looking up as if she could hear him. But Krauser knew better. He had know better for two whole years.
And yet, he longed for a response. A sign. Something. But he never got one.

Hello there! I would like to take part in the match-up event and I'd like to be matched with a Papa ♡
I'm a bisexual genderfluid person (my preferred pronouns are she/they, but I'm fine with anything really), I'm [in Terzo's voice] a little bit-uh... short (I'm 5'2 / 1.58 m) and I have an average body shape, I guess. I have shoulder lenght wavy dark brown hair with bangs, light blue/greyish eyes and really pale skin. I'm the youngest of three siblings and I'm in my early 20s. I'm currently in my first year of university and I'm studying to get a bachelor's degree in Studies in Cultural Heritage.
Personality wise, I could be described as a social chameleon: I can adapt to almost any kind of social context and I manage to get along with many different types of people, but I struggle with forming real connections, because it takes a long time for me to trust someone enough to open up to them and be emotionally vulnerable. To most people I may seem like a pretty chill, friendly, outgoing person, but I'm actually an introverted socially awkward mess, I'm just really good at hiding it, usually by coping with humor and sarcasm. Speaking of humor, I have a pretty dirty and sometimes dark sense of humor, but I also enjoy silly puns and dad jokes!
My main hobbies are drawing, reading, listening to music and podcasts, binge-watching films and tv series, collecting random stuff (crystals, stones, pebbles, sticks, feathers, bones... anything really) and travelling. I also enjoy witchcraft and all things esoteric. I'm interested in art, literature, history, philosophy, psychology, religions and mythology, as well as astronomy and anything related to space.
Other random facts you should know about me: I'm a cat person, my favourite colour is purple, my favourite season is autumn (because of Halloween), my favourite kind of weather is rainy/stormy, I'm a picky eater (mainly because I can't stand the texture of most foods) and I'm a night owl.
I guess that's all (apologies if it's too long)!
Your match is…Terzo
Tumblr media
“So err, I hear your favourite colour is purple uh?” When you say yes he is so happy, it's his colour!
He makes you a purple bracelet to wear, so you can be reminded of how much he loves you.
When you sit down to study he'll appear next to you, and start distracting you.
He'll flirt with you, kiss you, touch you, anything to get your attention back.
The best thing you can do is let him help. Either get him to test you on things or give him something to read and make notes on.
He'll proudly tell people how he's supporting his love to get their Bachelors degree.
He knows you are introverted undernearth it all. So he's supportive in any social sitation. He's always there for you. You can both get on with anyone, but like you he's not as confident as he comes accross.
You both have a dirty, dark sense of humour.
The pair of you get very carried away on halloween. Especially Terzo, he'll decorate your entire rooms and dress up.
Terzo also happens to be a night owl. So you often stay up late listening to music or podcasts.
Or you will stay up and bingewatch films and TV series. If you are doing that he will buy popcorn, and have a duvet on the sofa for you to snuggle under.
He is very happy to support your witchcraft. He'll find rare long forgotten books for you in the ministry. He's so proud that you are into such things.

Finding Out You’re Pregnant ~ Min Yoongi
Tumblr media
“Have they said what’s wrong?” Was the first question Yoongi had for you after being told he could enter.
As soon as he did, he stopped in the doorway, taking a look around at the machines that were around you, hating the feeling of sitting in such a hospital room. Your head nodded in reply to him, inviting him to take a seat and not worry too much about you, feeling much better after you had been checked over.
“I’ll make a full recovery in no time,” you assured him, reaching your hand out to him from under the duvet as Yoongi took a seat down beside you, “just got to have plenty of rest back at home.”
“I’ll definitely be making sure that you do that,” he promised you, weakly smiling as he studied you closely, “you gave everyone such a fright passing out at the studio like that, it was terrifying.”
“I wasn’t exactly expecting it to happen either.”
A quiet chuckle came from him, “how are you feeling now that you’re here? Why didn’t you mention that you were feeling unwell?”
Your shoulders shrugged, still a little confused as to what happened. “I felt fine, honestly, and then I stood up to go and change the music for you and it just felt like my body was giving up.”
Yoongi couldn’t remember a time when he had been as scared as the moment when he watched you collapse in the middle of the studio. It was almost as if the whole world just stood still for a moment and let it all sink in for him.
In no time at all him and the boys had managed to get you to hospital, watching you be wheeled off by the doctors in order to do some tests. He was helpless, and worst of all he was clueless as he waited for any updates on you.
With no hints at all that you were feeling unwell at any point, very little made sense to Yoongi as he waited, going over things again and again in his head, trying to figure out where he could have done better for you until his name was called to enter your suite room.
“You really had no idea that you were shutting down?” Yoongi sighed, squeezing onto your hand in frustration, not only at himself, but at the whole situation. “It just doesn’t make any sense; you hadn’t done anything to make you like this.”
“The doctor said that my body was weak,” you continued to explain to him, “apparently the collapse can be quiet sudden though, it’s nothing that anyone could have predicted at all.”
He kept his eyes on you as you spoke, relieved to at least hear you talking like your usual self again. The colour in your cheeks was slowly reappearing too as you woke yourself back up, coming back into the room and piecing things together with Yoongi too.
You struggled to control your smile as Yoongi spoke to you, with his mind racing so fast he had completely forgotten to get an answer for his initial question to you. You were ready to tell him what went wrong, but he was too worried to even remember.
“Did they say when you can come home?” Yoongi asked you, keen to get you back and under his supervision as soon as possible.
Your head nodded back at him, relaying as much of the information that the doctor had given you as possible to Yoongi, trying your best to remember all of it, but smartly leaving out one specific detail that you had for him, one that you wanted to tell him when he was calm and not fussing around you without paying his full attention to you.
He was more of a mess then you could have ever imagined him to be as he struggled to keep still in his seat whilst watching you. Every time you so much as moved he moved forwards to, holding his hand out in case you needed a little bit of support at any point, refusing to let you move too much or push your body too quickly then it could move.
Eventually, Yoongi settled, looking at you with much less worry in his eyes, but still a pounding heart, filled with concern as to what went wrong.
“Can you remember what you asked me when you first entered the room?” You quizzed him once Yoongi had finally sat back.
His head shook with a laugh, memory clouded as to what had happened for several hours. “I probably would have asked you if you were alright, wouldn’t I?”
You knew exactly what he was like, how he’d be too frantic to really pay attention. Despite assuring the boys that he would be calm when he got to you, Yoongi was anything but, not that you ever expected anything less from him.
“You asked me if they knew what was wrong with me,” you reminded him, watching his lips part as he slightly remembered what his question was.
“I never got an answer, did I?” He chuckled, knowing in himself that he would be too much of a mess to ever pay attention, “can I ask that question again.”
Your head nodded as you let go of a deep breath, “they found out the reason why I collapsed so suddenly, the nurse thought that I was pregnant,” you began to explain, watching his eyes light up, “and then I took a test, and I was.”
The expression on Yoongi’s face went blank momentarily as he took a moment to let your news sink in. The grip on your hand tightened as things began to hit him, glancing between your stomach and your eyes several times.
“For real?” He chuckled, shaking his head to take himself out of the spin of disbelief that he found himself, “if you’re pregnant, that means we’re having a baby, and that means we’re going to be parents Y/N.”
“It does,” you smirked, shaking your head too as Yoongi mumbled to himself, “there’s no doubt in the doctors’ minds that that’s the cause of why my body just gave up on me.”
“Is the baby alright after your fall?” He then asked you, “I know you’re the priority, but have they checked the baby over too, are they still healthy?”
Your head nodded in reply as you explained to Yoongi exactly what had gone on, assuring him several times that things were just fine. He listened intently to everything that you had to say, giving you his full attention despite how flustered he was, and how many questions he had that he wanted to ask you too.
As soon as you finished talking, the questions asked, with the last being the most important. “When are you due?” Yoongi asked, desperate for an answer, only for you to shrug, a little unsure as to how far along the doctor said you were.
“I was a little sleepy by the time I had to take the test,” you justified, with Yoongi understanding straight away. “When the doctor comes back in, I’ll make sure that he tells you everything, especially how you need to look after me.”
“Whatever you need, I’ll be there,” Yoongi assured you, “I’ll be there for the both of you whenever you need anything, at any time and from any place too.”
“You might regret saying that when I start getting cravings,” you warned, sniggering at how quickly the confident smile on his face dropped.
“I’ll still take care of you,” he promised through gritted teeth, “I can catch up on sleep or anything else, I’ve just got to be there for you now.”
“Not just me, but for the baby too,” you smiled.
“Absolutely, I’ll be there for the two of you.”

Here Comes the Sun: XVIII. Seven Nation Army (Daryl Dixon/Reader)
Series Masterlist: Here Comes the Sun
Summary: Daryl Dixon scares the hell out of you climbing out of that damn creek. It takes hauling his ass halfway across Georgia and taking a bullet for him to realise that you're not half bad. He slowly starts to come around, despite grumbling about how much he doesn't like your singing, or that you can't use a gun for shit - and don't get him started on that ugly yellow tent of yours. It takes him a while before he starts to see for himself that he's found a best friend for life, and that he doesn't actually mind the colour yellow that much, after all.
Words: 6040

"You're good with 'er." Daryl said, like the words had just slipped from his mouth without him realising.
You held Judy in your arms, cradling her against your chest as she looked up at you with wide, innocent eyes. Daryl seemed equally as mesmerised by the baby, as he stroked his thumb over her supple cheek and watched her give him a gummy smile in return.
You glanced over at the man, leaning against him where he stood. "So are you." You told him, but he shook his head in response.
"Nah I ain't." He muttered, his gaze still resting over Judith like she was the most precious thing in the world.
You hummed back, not wanting to break the moment you were having by arguing with him. You wished that things would stay like this forever - that Judith wouldn't cry, and the governor would never come, or that Daryl would not have to leave.
"Where are you going?" You asked the man, as he took a few steps away.
He held up a hand, gesturing for you to wait, and offered a warm smile to reassure you of his return.
"Jus' gimme a minute." He mumbled, walking towards your shared cell.
You raised your eyebrow, watching him disappear behind the bars, before turning your attention back to Judy. You thought that she had Lori's eyes, as they stared up at you in childlike wonder. You continued humming your song to her, now that the man was out of earshot and wouldn't tease you as you sang it. Daryl had suggested sticking the walkman headphones on her every time she cried, but Carol had scolded him for even thinking of the idea. You giggled, remembering the exchange, and how you just watched the two of them get along like old friends whilst you sat in the corner bouncing Judith over your lap.
Daryl came back not even a few minutes later, dragging his rucksack over the floor. He didn't have many possessions to begin with, so you cocked your head in his direction - confused about what could possibly be in there. He returned to your side, resting his arm around your shoulder as he hovered over it to make a face at Judith. You giggled, wondering what the others would say if they had the pleasure of seeing Daryl like this. Though, at the same time, you almost wanted to be completely selfish and not share that side of him with anyone.
You watched as the man fumbled around in the backpack for a bit, before pulling out a familiar, child-size sheriff's hat that couldn't possibly fit on his head. He grinned at you, taking in the way your eyes lit up in response.
"Said we'd give it to lil' asskicker, didn't we?" He teased, before placing the hat gently over the baby's head.
The sight made you want to melt. Daryl began to call Rick over to see, but you slapped his chest and hushed him before he did, wanting to enjoy the moment for yourselves just a little while longer. Daryl narrowed his eyes at you, but his expression soon softened as he noticed the way you stared down at Judith, who was staring right back. You felt like you were holding the future in your arms - and that future wore a sheriff's hat and went by the name of Judith Grimes. What you wouldn't give for a camera; you wanted so desperately to take a photo of her with her brother, and gift a copy to Rick as a surprise.
Daryl had his hand resting over the small of your back. It had hovered there at first, uneasy as usual, but it seemed like he'd forgotten his shyness for a brief moment as he watched the pair of you. You felt like a makeshift, adoptive family, and you wouldn't want it any other way. The hat started to slip down Judith's head, still too big for her yet, and Daryl tipped it back up gently with his knuckle. It was like an impromptu version of peek-a-boo. Everytime the hat fell and covered her face, Daryl would prop it back into position and the baby would smile. You weren't sure you could take it anymore; the entire exchange felt too adorable to keep from the rest of the group any longer.
Just as you were about to call for them, Judy grabbed onto Daryl's finger with her entire fist - which still wasn't able to close all the way around it. You laughed softly at the man's expression, as he stayed perfectly motionless in fear of making her let go.
"I think she likes her uncle Daryl." You whispered, and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek in your attempt to unstick the frozen statue.
To that, you could see a faint blush spread over his skin, but this time you decided not to tease him about it.
The two of you made your way to the communal area after a few more minutes, and the others quickly gathered around to get a look at Judith before they left. It was a nice break from the tension in the atmosphere, and it helped you forget, too. Rick gave his daughter a kiss and headed outside to test the vehicle they'd be driving.
Soon, the meeting with the governor would be taking place. Andrea had set it up, like she'd promised, and so Rick, Daryl and Hershel would be heading out under the guise of diplomacy. However, you couldn't say for sure that you believed in the plan very much. As you'd all established before, the governor just didn't seem like the type of man who'd let both sides co-exist peacefully.
Carl had taken his sister from you at some point, and you watched as he compared their hats and made Carol laugh with his antics. Behind you, the Greenes were bidding goodbye to their father and reminding him to be careful, and Daryl approached you under the amused eye of Merle.
"Rick says it's time to go." He told you, affirming the words you'd been dreading to hear.
You put on your best, bravest face and shot him a smile that only faltered a little. He caught it, though - he always did. He pulled you into a hug, and you leant your forehead against his chest, feeling his heartbeat there.
"Be safe." You murmured against him. "Come home this time or I'll kill you myself."
The man chuckled, which you felt rumble through his torso. You looked up at him with a playful smile and he caught your lips, giving you a quick kiss there when he thought no one was looking. In moments like these, it was refreshing to get a glimpse of the old, shy Daryl - never wanting to be in the spotlight. You nudged him gently with your elbow, sending him on his way with a teasing ruffle of his hair. Perhaps you were being too nonchalant about the situation, but you didn't want to dwell on it - or you'd become a crumbling mess like the last time.
You stood next to Beth as the rest of the group filtered out, and the others returned back to whatever they'd been doing before. The girl smiled at you, watching the way your eyes followed Daryl's back as he left the cell block.
"I'll never get used to that." She said quietly, looking between the two of you.
You thought that she'd perhaps seen the exchange take place, but you couldn't really say that you minded.
"Me neither." You confessed, and Beth giggled in response.
You remembered the jokes you'd shared with her, back at the farmhouse. You'd made a promise to talk to her about boys whenever she was sad, and let her laugh at your misfortune in return. Yet, things hadn't exactly played out like that. Daryl was a world away from those bad experiences you'd once recounted to her, but you somehow seemed even more nervous to talk about him in their place. Perhaps it was because you wanted to keep the man all to yourself, just like earlier - as though the very act of speaking about him would disclose some kind of secret you weren't willing to share. Daryl Dixon was yours, but you felt almost too shy to admit it.
"I used to think that Daryl would be the last man standing." Beth confessed, startling you. "Out of all of us."
You nodded back, letting her words sink in.
"I can see why. He's like a one-man army." You replied with a smirk, thinking back on all the times he had proved himself so.
Though Beth shook her head, seeming to almost disagree with herself. You stayed silent, awaiting her response.
"But I don't think that anymore." She told you, like she was completely certain of herself. "It'll probably be you."
Immediately, you raised an eyebrow, wondering if you'd misheard her. Beth's expression didn't change, so you let out a snort in disbelief - amused by the seriousness of it all.
"Me?" You repeated, looking over at her like she'd gone mad. "Why's that?"
The youngest Greene bit her lip, as if deliberating whether to tell you her next words. Eventually, she gave you a light-hearted smile, as though having finally decided to reveal a secret.
"Because there's no way Daryl would let you go down before he did."
You spent the majority of your time waiting in your cell, trying to keep yourself busy by cleaning it up. Daryl had hauled his mattress into the room, and the two of you had abandoned the bunk frame in favour of pushing the two beds together on the floor - creating a makeshift double. You'd also stolen an extra sheet from the laundry room and hung it over your doorway for some privacy. It was still a far cry from the decor of Hershel's farmhouse, but it was starting to feel more comfortable nonetheless. Daryl had given you some thin rope from his rucksack, too, so you'd been able to replace the fraying string from which your polaroids had been strung up. It still wasn't a home yet, but it could be.
The last few days had been tense, so you couldn't blame yourself for slumping down onto the mattress and staring up into a starless, stone sky for a while. You followed the cracks on the ceiling like you were trying to create patterns there, and eventually you felt your eyelids grow heavy as sleep overcame you easier than it had done for as long as you could remember.
When you woke up, the room was dimmer than it had been before, and you thought that it had to be late evening. You'd roused to the sound of footsteps approaching, echoing over the catwalk as though the person wore thick, heavy boots. You smiled to yourself, instantly recognising who they belonged to. The metal doorway squeaked open, and some light filtered in as Daryl lifted the sheet hanging there, letting it fall back down behind him as he entered. You greeted him, but he was wordless in response. He shrugged his leather vest off and let it fall to the floor, not even bothering to place it anywhere.
You raised an eyebrow at the man, debating whether to scold him for making the cell messy when you'd spent your whole day trying to make it nice for him when he got back. Yet, you took one glance at Daryl's face and decided against it. The man looked exhausted. Probably not physically, you realised, but definitely mentally. He seemed to have a permanent scowl tacked onto him, and you could make out the frown lines over his forehead even in the poor lighting. So, you said nothing when the man tugged off his boots and flung them at the wall - where they fell with a thud into a pile.
Sitting up on the mattress, you plumped your pillow against your back and rubbed your eyes. You could almost feel the stress radiating off Daryl as he paced back and forth, so you patted the spot beside you and pulled back the covers to invite him in. He eyed you for a second, as if considering the offer, before taking a seat there. Though, he didn't allow himself to lay down or make himself comfortable, and instead stayed sat over the edge of the mattress with his back to you. Slowly, you crawled over to him, before perching on your knees and resting your head on his shoulder.
"How'd it go?" You whispered, but knew you could probably guess the answer.
Daryl's back was tense; you could feel it. Tentatively, you began to knead your fingers over it, trying to work out the knots in his muscles. Instead of flinching like he usually did, you felt the man relax into you as you pressed your knuckles along his spine.
He growled, but the sound became lost in his throat as you rubbed along his shoulder blades. "It ain't gonna work out." He muttered, eyes closed as he said it.
You hummed in response, more preoccupied with the sounds the man was letting out than his words. It reminded you of being back at the farm, and those days where he'd try to relieve the tension built up in your stiff arms and neck from learning how to shoot.
"Why?" You asked, feeling the deep breath he took underneath your palms.
"Jus' ain't." He replied, but his voice came out strained.
You ran your thumbs down his spine in tandem, all the way from the top of his neck to his lower back, and you felt him shiver slightly under your touch.
"Okay then." You said, like it was the simplest thing in the world.
Daryl opened his eyes and glanced back at you.
"Tha's it?" He questioned, like he'd expected something more from your response.
You hummed back, returning to pressing over his shoulder blades. Though, the man turned around this time, bringing his legs onto the mattress as he looked over at you.
"I trust you. And I trust Rick." You explained, meeting his questioning eyes. "Whatever we have to do, we'll do."
Daryl frowned, and looked at you like you didn't understand in the slightest. You did, but you didn't want to burden him any more than you had to.
"We gotta gear up for war." He told you, narrowing his eyes like he was trying to convince you of his words - or wait for them to sink in.
You nodded at him, reaffirming that you understood.
"Then we better start loading our guns."
Daryl seemed to break at your words, shaking his head like you'd answered him in the way he'd least wanted. This time you didn't understand, and ran your thumb over the back of his hand to try and coax out an explanation. The man sighed, and took your fingers in his palm as he pressed a kiss over the tips of them.
"Don' wan' ya to have to fight." He admitted quietly, but knew he didn't have a choice.
You shuffled forward a little, so that you were almost sitting in between the man's thighs. His head was low, and he couldn't quite meet your eyes until you spoke.
"That's not up to you to decide." You said, but did so as gently as you could. "It's not like lil' asskicker can hold a rifle yet."
His eyes flickered slightly at the mention of Judith, and you understood that completely. He realised that as much as he wanted to keep you safe, there were now other people who needed his protection more.
"I'm not worried." You reassured him, and pressed both of his cheeks under your palms until he pulled a face that made you laugh.
"I'll be fine because you're here." You told the man, and watched as his expression seemed a little lighter than it had done. "And you're all that I need."
He pulled you into his chest and fell back against the mattress with you in his arms, and you giggled as your noses pressed together. You moved your knees so that they rested either side of his hips, not wanting to crush the man as he squeezed you tight against him.
"What I do to deserve ya?" He mumbled into your hair, and it tickled your ear.
You sat upright, so that you were looking down at him and watching as your hair trailed over his cheeks.
"Hmm, I don't know." You said with a grin. "Bribe me with pretty flowers and music players?"
He smiled back softly, and took the ends of your hair between his fingers, playing with them where he lay. You felt a bit exposed, practically sitting on the man's torso and straddling him as he just stayed perfectly still, content beneath you. For once, you felt like the shy one, as he rubbed over your thigh with his hand - tracing shapes over your jeans. You thought about his question once more, and decided that he deserved a serious answer, too.
"When I first saw you trying to haul yourself up that cliff, you gave me a purpose." You admitted smally, catching his attention like you hadn't even realised you'd lost it. "I think that's reason enough."
Daryl let the small wisps of your hair fall from his fingers as he looked up, focusing on you completely.
"A purpose?" He asked, like the word was foreign on his tongue.
You nodded, trailing your fingers over his chest absentmindedly.
"Even if it was just to get you back to your camp at first." You mumbled, almost like you were talking to yourself as you voiced your innermost thoughts. "Before that, I was just living day to day."
You smiled at the memory, thinking that it was perhaps your favourite one. You'd felt so young back then, but at the same time so old. The world had really had its way with you before you'd stumbled upon Daryl and his group. You might have only been in your mid-twenties, but those few months after the collapse had aged you more than you cared to admit. It wasn't until you met Daryl that you remembered how it felt to be young again.
"One of the first things you asked me back then was why I helped you." You recalled, letting your nails lightly run across his chest, sliding upwards to the exposed skin of his neck.
He stayed silent, like putty in your hands as you spoke.
"I remember finding it a really hard question to answer." You whispered softly, like you were revealing a secret to him. "I ended up saying that I only wanted the chance to be a good person."
Daryl's skin was warm as you ran your thumb along his jawline, surprised at how docile he'd become under your touch.
"But I think that was a lie." You smiled, and the words felt almost devious to admit. "I'd forgotten what it was to even be a person before I met you."
You leant down to press a kiss to his lips, and pulled away before he could kiss you back.
"Thank you for reminding me, Daryl."
You looked down at the man sweetly, like you'd just poured out your entire heart to him. And, he decided to give you his in return.
Suddenly your world spun like clothes in a washing machine as the man flipped your positions, and you snorted rather unflatteringly as your back hit the mattress. Your legs were still wrapped around his waist, but now he kneeled between them - with your thighs either side. Your laughs soon trailed off as you noticed Daryl's expression, and you suddenly became quiet without having even realised it.
He leant down to capture your lips, but pulled away before you could deepen the kiss - just as you had done.
"Ya can't just go sayin' shit like that an' expect me not to do nothin'." He growled near your ear, and you quickly realised how dangerous your situation had gotten.
You looped your hands around his neck and pulled him back down, threading your fingers through his hair and letting your nails drag along his scalp. He rested one of his palms over the mattress as he hovered above you, but the other one came to your cheek as your lips met again. You could distinguish Daryl's kisses so easily by now; you knew the soft morning ones from the emotional ones with trembling lips, or the teasing pecks that made you laugh - and that's why you could easily tell that this one was needy.
He bit your bottom lip between his teeth and you immediately whimpered against him, feeling your head spin at how fast everything happened. You'd gone from the washing machine to the dryer without even realising it, and you felt yourself get equally as hot and disorientated.
"Daryl-" you mumbled against his lips, hooking your ankles together around the back of his torso.
He moaned in response but said nothing, letting his thumb trail from your cheek to your neck, where he rested it over your quickly beating pulse. You had your palms pressed flat against his chest, rubbing over the area and feeling the warmth radiate from him. You wanted to take the shirt off, and feel his skin over yours, but you were too preoccupied by his lips on you to do so. He kissed you with more pressure, and you whimpered again as you felt yourself becoming more lost to his touches. You'd thought that Daryl Dixon was a shy man, but recently he seemed adamant to prove you wrong
You unintentionally squeezed your thighs tighter around him, as you felt your head being pushed back further into the mattress. Your jeans rubbed against his uncomfortably, and you felt the buttons dig into your hips and chafe your skin every time you moved. You pulled away for a brief second to catch your breath, and took in the dangerous sight of Daryl Dixon.
You realised that perhaps you'd made a mistake - when you looked at him, that is. His lips were swollen a blush red, and his pupils were blown as he watched you, watching him. You looked away first, feeling shy under his gaze. You wondered how this had happened - when it had happened. You hadn't thought of yourself as the nervous one, but you were made nervous for him.
Without meeting his eyes, you tugged at the hemline of his shirt - making it clear what you wanted. He kissed your forehead gently, and you almost got whiplash from how quickly the man could switch from giving you deep, intense kisses to leaving sweet pecks over your skin like he was afraid you might break. He moved back from you, sitting up so that he was kneeling in between your legs, and pulled off his shirt without you having to ask.
You bit your lip, taking in the sight of his barreled chest and toned muscles as he threw the shirt over his shoulder for it to get lost somewhere in the sheets. You didn't get too stare long, because he was back on top of you in an instant - almost like he'd never left. Though, you didn't mind much, because now you could feel the warmth of his skin pressed against your own chest. Softly, you gasped just from the intensity of it, but Daryl quickly caught your lips and silenced it. You ran your hands up his back, feeling the ridges of scars and the contours of his muscles as he held himself up. You allowed your nails to dig into him slightly, enjoying the way he moaned against you as you did.
Even inside the walls of a prison, Daryl's voice sounded so good up against your ear, as he left your abused lips to focus his attention on your neck, instead. You immediately turned your head to the side in response, feeling your cheek press into the pillow and muffle any noises you made there. You tried to stay quiet, but it seemed like Daryl was intentionally out to make you fail. His tongue ran along your neck and you scratched him particularly hard on his back, stuttering out an apology as you removed your hands and clenched the sheets instead.
It didn't seem to bother the man, however, as he continued to work his way down until his teeth grazed over your collarbone and made you cry out. You quickly shot him a warning look, and he glanced up at you for a brief second before he did it again. It felt utterly euphoric, so you moaned under him unintentionally before you felt him chuckle against your skin.
You would have scolded him, or pulled a face, but your words felt so far away that you doubted you'd be able to form a complete sentence even if you tried. One of Daryl's hands had wandered to your waist, and then dipped lower to your hip. His thumb ran over the bone there, and it sent shivers through you as he gripped your skin tighter. You ran your palms over his bare chest in response, still not entirely used to the feeling. He stopped what he was doing, probably leaving some marks over you without you noticing, and ran his finger along the oval collar of your vest.
"Take it off." He mumbled, his lips still pressed against the skin just above it.
A whine left your mouth before you'd even realised it, and you didn't think Daryl Dixon even knew how he sounded right now. He pulled back to look at you, cheeks all flushed and eyes glossy where you lay beneath him, and you nodded.
He helped you shrug the vest over your head, and left it lying next to you on the pillow. You turned away from his eyes almost instantly, feeling more exposed than you had in a while. He had trusted you, and you wanted to be able to give him your trust in return. Yet, you couldn't help but feel shy under a gaze that intense. You reached your arms over your chest, like you were trying to shelter yourself from the cold - despite being incredibly hot.
The man narrowed his eyes at you, not happy with your decision in the slightest. He leant down so that his lips hovered just above your stomach, and you expected him to place a kiss there in hopes of coaxing your arms away. Except, he didn't. He blew a raspberry against your skin and you all but screamed as you wriggled beneath him, and flung your hands out to push him away.
"Stop!" You yelled, but it had come out strained between a mixture of giggles.
You felt the man smile against your stomach as you panted deeply, in utter disbelief about what he'd just done. Your arms rested either side of you, hands tangled in the sheets just like he'd planned, but you weren't happy at the cost you'd had to pay. You glanced down, ready to chide him, but stopped when you noticed how quiet he'd gotten.
Daryl's eyes were fixated on your waist, and he ran his thumb gently over the small scar there - as though afraid to press too hard and hurt you. Your eyes softened when you saw his expression, and the way he chewed his lip between his teeth. You knew that guilty look from a mile away, and you wouldn't let him wear it any longer.
"Don't." You said into the silence, lifting his hand away from the little indentation there.
You brought his knuckles to your lips and left kisses over them, offering him one of your best smiles in hopes of coaxing one out of him in return.
"It was worth it." You told him. "I'd take another bullet for you if I had to."
Daryl let his forehead drop against your hip, like he was completely exasperated by the response, and muttered something below his breath.
"Why's everythin' that comes outta yer mouth so damn sweet?"
He crawled back up the bed and kissed your lips as if to prove his point, and you moaned against him - having missed the feeling. You were chest to chest, skin pressed fully against each other as you arched your back to try and get even closer. Your fingers trailed lightly over his arms, and you could almost make out the rhythm of his heartbeat as your chests heaved together in time. He reached a hand down to the button of your jeans, and pulled away from the kiss to wait for your response.
Nervously, you glanced over towards the entranceway of your cell, only covered by a thin sheet draped there.
"What if someone hears?" You whispered, suddenly aware of how loud you'd perhaps been beforehand.
Daryl dotted some light kisses over your neck, trailing them down as he spoke between each one he gave.
"Don' care." He mumbled, reaching your sternum.
"Don' care if Rick comes to tell us Randall's gone walk about." He said, and tickled your stomach with his lips.
"Don' care if Carol knocks to say the governor's here with an army an' wants his fuckin' walkman back."
He got to your hip, and this time noticed the tattoo that just about peeked out over the top of your jeans. He raised an eyebrow, and you smiled sheepishly in response.
"Don' wanna wait anymore." He said softly, and neither did you.
He sat up and rested his palms either side of you, looking down at your face with the most affection you'd seen from him yet.
"Okay, then." You whispered back, and interlocked your fingers with his. "I'm yours."
You woke up to warm, morning light streaming in through the pale curtain of your cell, and landing on your cheek. Your eyelids fluttered, and it took you a few seconds to adjust to the brightness - feeling the tears well up as you did. You hummed into Daryl's chest, lying over it with your palm resting there. You'd slept so well, but you'd woken up even better.
His bare skin was warm against yours, so much so that you didn't feel the need to pull the sheets up higher to cover you. You rubbed at your eyes, finally opening them to notice that the man was already awake. You'd been tucked in the crook of his neck, your head just over his shoulder, but he'd been looking down at you as you roused from sleep. Shyly, you smiled at him, and hid your face back into his skin. You felt his laugh rumble there, low and groggy.
"You been up long?" You asked, the words coming out thick as you said them.
You felt him shake his head, but weren't too sure if he was telling the truth. His arm rested over your waist, and you had only just become aware of the weight of it as he rubbed his thumb over your hip beneath the covers.
"What is it?" He murmured. "Didn't ask ya 'bout it las' night."
It took you a few seconds to realise what he meant. You shrugged back the sheet, looking at the part of your body he was referring to.
"I think you were a little preoccupied." You teased, and he pinched your skin there in response.
The ink stood out strongly against your paleness, dotted over your lower hip so that it was concealed even when you wore low-rise jeans. You recalled that night back at the Greene farm, where you all shared secrets over the campfire and the group had seemed surprised to discover that you had a tattoo. Nobody else had ever seen it; Daryl was the first.
"It's a rune." You told him, feeling his calloused fingers trace over the lines so carefully. "They were one of the things I studied before all this."
A small blush worked its way onto your cheeks, as you suddenly felt embarrassed under the man's intense gaze.
"Looks like an arrow." He noted, inspecting it closer.
You hummed in response, not having thought of it that way before.
"I guess it does, doesn't it?" You chuckled, thinking how appropriate it was for the archer to have been the one to notice.
"It's the symbol of the Norse god Týr." You explained, and he watched you talk passionately without interrupting. "Have you ever heard of the story of Sigurd?"
Daryl shook his head with a small smile, already knowing that you were going to tell him no matter how he answered.
"In the sagas, he slays the dragon Fáfnir and carves the runes of Týr into his sword." You said, excitedly. "They're meant to be the sign of a warrior. To ensure certain victory."
Daryl seemed perfectly content, gazing down at you as you spoke with so much life in your voice. It reminded you of that first night where you shared a bed together in the Greene's spare room. Even then, having barely known you more than a day, the man allowed you to ramble whilst he listened in silence. He'd made out like he was ignoring you, but every small detail you'd given during those early morning hours he'd seemed to recall - even a few weeks later. But now, you thought it was slightly different. He made no attempt to pretend like he wasn't interested in your stories, or that you talked too much for him to stand. He looked at you like your words were law, but he'd somehow ended up in a prison anyway.
"Tha' why ya weren't scared 'bout facing the governor?" He teased, once you'd finished your brief lesson. "Certain victory?"
You snorted, having only just realised the irony of it all.
"No." You admitted, slapping his chest lightly as you laughed.
Maybe it was the rune, but it was more likely the one-man army at your side who assured you of that victory.
"I think this tattoo would be much more suited to you than it is me." You confessed, tracing its shape over the back of his hand.
He watched you make your invisible markings, and remained wordless as you did so.
"I got it just after I started teaching. To remind myself to be brave." You told him, and this time he was the one to laugh.
"So teachin' students was as hard as slayin' a dragon?" He questioned, and you could practically hear the smirk through his voice.
You raised your head from his chest to look at him in mock offense.
"If I had a student like you, then maybe." You teased, and the man grabbed the sheets and bundled you up in them tightly as you struggled against him.
The two of you lay there for a while, not quite yet ready to face the day. You knew the inevitable would be coming soon, and you wished you could just pause this moment as easily as you paused the songs on your walkman - immortalising it in an old, labelled cassette.
"A lot of the time I don't feel very brave, but I've decided to trust it more recently." You mumbled, feeling the edges of sleep start to return.
Daryl questioned you, before realising that you had carried on with the earlier conversation - seemingly by yourself. You felt him trace over your hip again, but your eyelids were too heavy to look at him.
"There anythin' ya don't know?" He grumbled, but it was too playful to be considered so. "Yer too smart for yer own good, Sunshine."
You hummed against his chest, wanting nothing more than for the morning hours to drag along slower, and for the night that followed to stand still.
"I could tell you stories of dragons and knights, and speak to you in languages that have long since faded away." You told the man, but it came out half-hearted and muffled against his skin.
"But there are still many things I don't know, Dixon." You admitted. "Like what I did to deserve you, too."
A/N *mic drop* Ok but for real, who let me have alcohol whilst writing this??? Tipsy me gets WAY TOO SPICY WAY TOO QUICK- The chapter plan had way more in it, but I accidentally threw the plot out the window because I got preoccupied *cough*...

When Chris Evans is nervous, there is only one thing that calms him down. And that one thing is you and the fact that you allow him to doodle on your hands all the time.
The premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the first time you saw Chris so nervous. Him constantly rubbing his hands together or bouncing his leg underneath the press table and the times when he'd fiddle with the hem of his shirts. These were things you noticed Chris did when he got nervous, and it seemed that you were the only one who witnessed them.
The third day into the film's press tour, you decided to take matters into your own hands. You knew what it felt like to be anxious, the feeling settling within the depths of your stomach or the constant avoidance of looking out to an audience. Sometimes you'd excuse yourself a few times throughout interviews just to catch your own breath.
~
The whole TCA: TWS cast sat along the stage of the comic-con panel. The hosts introduced you all, crowds cheering loudly when they saw everyone.
You took your seat next to Chris, who was already fiddling with his plastic water bottle that he'd been gripping so tightly on, you could already see the indents on the bottle. You smiled, looking out to the audience waving back to some of your fans that you could see holding signs up for you in the crowd. It was, in fact, times like these that your anxiety shot right out the window, replacing that anxiety with happiness and admiration of your fan base.
Five minutes into the panel talk and questions were directed to Scarlett and RDJ. You knew you wouldn't be talking anytime soon as, of course, like all other press tours, the interviews were heavily coordinated. So before you'd have the chance to speak, Sebastian, Anthony, and the Russo brother would go first. Sitting back in your chair, you took a sip of your water, your eyes following down to where Chris was bouncing his leg. Then, setting your water back onto the table, you pulled yourself and your chair closer to the table, reaching over across Joe Russo, who observed what you were doing.
"Could you pass me the marker, please, Joe?" you whispered to him; he smiled, nodding handing you the marker. "Thanks", you whispered again.
You returned to the comfort of your seat, Scarlett and RDJ still bantering. You look forward to the audience and give a tiny little smile to the fans who were waving at you. Your eyes looked down to your arm; you wrote a little message on your forearm, so he knew what the pen was for.
You scooted a bit closer to Chris just enough so you could hand him the pen. You lightly looked over to him; your hand went underneath the table and across to rest on Chris' lap. It was right there when his leg stopped bouncing. You held the pen in your hand, waiting for him to take it from you. Chris looked up turning his gaze to you; you gave him a smile nodding.
His eyes directed back down to where your arm was. He read the note you had written for him, 'Use my arm to doodle. It helps with anxiety :)'. He let out a smile, all the while letting out the breath he'd been holding in.
You looked back up and over to Sebastian, who was now talking; you felt the pen slip out from your grip, the marker clicked and the coldish ink embracing the surface of your skin.
One of Chris' hand rested firmly on your forearm to keep it from moving, and the other used to doodle. That was the first time in the history of you knowing Chris to be calm and content. No bouncing his leg or fidgeting. He was completely aware of everything instead of his growing anxiety.
~
It was after that moment Chris slowly began to fall in love. He never expected someone to notice his worries and do something about them. But, the way you sat there while he doodled on your arm didn't phase you at all, you wanted to support him, and you showed him that you did.
Years later, It became a force of habit, the tiny hugs you'd give Chris just to slide a marker into his pocket before going on stage. The small slight movements he'd make before he took your hand into his so he could draw.
You'd become someone who knew him better than he knew himself. The many dates he took you on lead to you moving in with him. The small moments you both had messing around on set and loving him in the silliest of moments meant eternity to the pair of you. You knew that you had fallen in love with Chris Evans, and so was he. You both just didn't realise that the moment would be a forever moment. If you hadn't offered him a marker that day, where would you be?
It was now the premiere of Avengers: End Game and the last press tour you'd have for a while. Today's interview consisted of a comic-con panel, the same panel you happily let Chris doodle on your arm five years ago.
You both sat together, his hand protectively on your thigh. You were speaking into the mic as a fan had just asked you a question about possibly seeing your character in the future of the MCU. Chris sat there attentive to your voice while he drew on the top of your hand. It was a little duck with a Boston Red Sox hat holding a heart.
Once you had finished answering the question and someone else began to speak, you looked back down to see what Chris was drawing. You squinted in wonder; looking back at Chris, you wondered why he was drawing this. Coincidentally, you had drawn a duck on him one day in between an interview—a duck holding a heart wearing a NASA cap. Chris looked at you with his cheesy smile. Oh! he was up to something, you thought. Chuckling, you watched him colour in the small heart with a red marker. He was, in truth, quite a good artist; you managed to take a photo of all his doodles over the years. But this one, this doodle was a bit different; it meant something more to you.
After you had both finished the panel, you were set on getting a new tattoo. Kissing Chris' lips, you told him that you'd see him at home. Chris had asked you where you were going, so you said you were going out to dinner with your mum in town, which was true you just left out the part of you going to get another tattoo. Your parents were in for the weekend for reasons unknown and wanted to see you before they left, so you had already planned to see them. He nodded, kissing you once more before departing ways.
You both were always so sentimental, and you knew as soon as you saw that duck in a red sox cap holding a heart on your hand that you wanted it to be a forever doodle. That day, when you had drawn a duck on him, he went and got it tatted on his hand the same day. The first tattoo visible on Chris' body, the only tattoo that wasn't hidden under his shirts. In contrast, most of your tattoos were on your arms and wrists; this was another tattoo among the few others you had on your hand, others being the original six symbol and some writing of your favourite quotes.
Before you knew it, you were sitting on the chair in your private tattoo artist's studio, getting the duck tattooed on you forever. The tattoo was a reminder of memories both you and him had experienced together.
~
The red sox hat, being where he took you on your first date five years ago. To a Red Sox game, of course. You didn't have anything to wear to represent the team, so Chris kindly offered you his Red Sox cap to wear; five years later, Chris had to purchase a new hat because you kept his one. Of course, he didn't mind; he loved to see you dressed in things that were his; the hat was one of them.
"I don't have anything to wear", you sadly pouted at Chris, looking at him in his Red Sox jersey and cap.
He looked down to you as you stood next to him, holding his hand softly, looking out to the stadium. He smiled, taking his cap off and placing it over your head.
"Now you do", he smiled, leading you down the stairs to your seats. You weren't really a fan of baseball. Still, once you had experienced your first game, oh man... it became a routine for both you and Chris to attend every game the Red Sox were playing at.
~
The duck, the furry little animal you had brought home a few months after you had first moved in with Chris two years ago. In all honesty, you wanted to get a turtle, but as soon as you saw that slight yellow fluff waddling around at the pet store, you wanted nothing more than to take it home with you. Chris couldn't say no to you, so the duck became your baby.
"y/n?" Chris came around the corner where you'd sat yourself talking to the little duck... Chris had been looking for you for almost fifteen minutes when he found you sitting there with the pet shop worker.
The excitement in your eyes told him that you had forgotten all about the turtle. You looked up at him smiling, patting the empty seat next to him. He sat watching you pet the small baby duck with your thumb lightly. "I'm naming him Alfie" you smiled brightly, looking back at Chris.
He took the duck out of your hands and chuckled, "Alfie, it is".
~
The red heart...
A reminder of how much you both loved each other. Something that had never gone away, the love both you and Chris had continued, it grew stronger over time, of course with a few hiccups here and there but never enough to break that love. But this, the tiny little heart being tattooed onto you, was one similar to the heart that homed your middle finger on a ring. The rose gold ring he gifted you when he asked you to be his girlfriend four years ago.
You rested your head on Chris' shoulder as both of you watched the office. A new series you'd been watching together, it was a few months after your first date with Chris, and you both were head over heels with each other.
"Hey y/n", he whispered.
"Mh?"
"I'm fallin' for you darling."
You lifted your head from his shoulder, looking up at him, "You're what", you whispered softly, you heard what he said, but you just needed to hear it again.
He brought the small box out, opening it to reveal a rose gold band hearts making up the band. "I said I'm falling in love with you", he smiled before continuing ", Be my girlfriend?" he sweetly asked.
You chuckled, letting him slide the ring onto your middle finger. "Of course", you whispered back to him before cupping his face. You both looked at each other, you saw it, you saw the life you'd been wanting. It was with him.
"I love you".
~
Sitting at the dinner table with your parents, you briefly looked down at the now wrapped tattoo on your hand. You had thanked your tattoo artist for another fantastic job; the new ink was precisely how Chris drew it on you earlier today. Your parents were eating away and so were you.
"It's great to see you again, Hunny", your dad spoke.
You smiled, nodding. "I've missed you guys so much."
"What's on your agenda for this weekend?" you spoke again, taking a bite of your food. Your mum and dad took one look at each other before your mum stopped to talk.
"Your dad and I are going to old friends party", she smiled at you. "party", you chuckled. "Since when do you guys party".
"it's an engagement party, I mean... do you have some parties we could go to" your dad joked.
"First of all... no." you laughed, cringing at the image in your head of your parents dancing and drinking. "But that's nice. I hope you both have fun, wish whoever a congratulations for me" you smiled.
"Oh, we will", your mum outwardly said. You took a second to squint your eyes in curiosity to your mum's tone. "Mhkay".
~
It was the end of dinner, and you had parted ways with your parents, taking a Cab to the home you shared with Chris. "thank you, driver," you smiled, hopping out of the cab walking up to your driveway. You giggled, seeing Dodger patiently waiting for you at the front door. "Hey buddy", you smiled, opening up the door for him to jump all over you.
Closing the door behind you, kneeling down to cuddle your pup. Dodger wagged his tail giving you kisses. "Shhhhh", you chuckled lightly, "were you waiting for me, huh?" you watched Dodger roll around on the floor. You stood up, taking your shoes off, leaving your keys on the hook. "C'mon, baby", you whispered, gesturing for Dodger to follow. You both walked down the hall, Dodger by your side.
You could hear the snores coming from your room and knew Chris was already sleeping. You opened the door, looking down at Dodger "go keep my spot warm for me, please", you sweetly asked your pup, who did just that. You watched him gently jump up onto the bed and curl up on your side of the bed.
Walking further down the hall, you went to take a shower. Changing into the PJs you left on the warming rack in the bathroom, you followed back out to check on Alfie, who would be sleeping in your office. Once that was done, you head into your and Chris' room. You took off your slippers and ushered Dodger to sleep in his bed. You kissed his head before he left. "night, bubba".
You slide in next to Chris, who had his back to you. Covering yourself with the blanket, you slide one arm around his bare torso pulling yourself closer to him. He was so warm, and you loved it. Chris groaned, turning over. He smiled sleepily. "Hey hon, how was dinner?" "It was good", you kissed his lips, "That's good," he said, pulling you into his arms to cuddle.
"Hey babe"
"mhhh", he mumbled in a sleepy voice.
"I love you."
"I love you too".
~
The next day you were doing a panel with the marvel cast. Like any other day, you answered questions, so why did you feel this one would be different. You were a bit nervous today, like you had woken up wrong, or you were waiting for something to happen. You didn't know if that was a good or bad thing.
You were talking to your audience. It was a large panel today consisting of the MCU cast, if not all of them. Maybe that's why you were so nervous; the bigger the cast panel, the bigger audience to speak to. "Make eye contact and hand gestures y/n," you thought to yourself right before you begun to answer the fan's questions. You start to use your hands gesturing when a fan had asked you about your character's personality.
Chris smiled, watching you intently; fans noticed. But as you were gesturing, he noticed the tattoo. He had to double-take when he saw your hand, leaving a small on his face. After you finished your question, he leaned in. "I love your tattoo, babe", he whispered; his comment calmed your nerves a bit as you chuckled ", just following your lead."
You both lean back into your seats as Joe and Anthony Russo began the next half of the panel. You were already forty minutes through... only another forty to go.
Anthony spoke, "As you may know, this will be the last you'll see of your favourite actors and actresses for a while..." Joe turned to the entire panel. "So we put together a little something of your time over the last decade" Joe turns back to the audience. "So sit back and relax."
The panel turned their chairs to watch the big screen, the lights dimmed, and the video rolled. It was a decade gag-reel of everyone in the MCU; Chris had pulled your chair closer to his; he knew you were nervous, for what reason? He didn't know, and neither did you. He should've been the nervous one; he was about to do something in front of the entire audience he had been planning for months.
Your head rested on Chris' shoulder, laughing with everyone else as the embarrassing footage rolled through. There was more footage of you and Chris than anyone else, but again, you were too clouded in worry. You didn't overthink about it.
Then there it was, a clip you didn't know existed—a video of you dancing with Scarlett and Jeremy on the infinity war set. You were being videoed from afar, but Chris comes into the frame making funny faces before pointing at you. You blushed a bit, laughing lightly.
"You see her", Past Chris spoke to the camera. "One day, I am going to marry her" he wiggles his finger over to your past self, who was still dancing around like an idiot. You swear your heart stopped, so ultimately, you started bouncing your leg. The video stopped, and the lights came back on. There were hushed voices; you knew they were looking your way, but you couldn't tell why.
You turned your chair, trying to avoid whoever was looking at you. Not noticing anything, nobody was talking. You had turned your head to look down to the end of the panel where The Russo brothers were. They were all looking in your direction, including the whole cast panel. You jumped slightly when Chris caught your leg mid-bounce; you turned to look at him, his eyes dazzling before you. Oh, that smile, you knew that smile all too well. Chris was smiling like a little kid.
Chris tapped you on your thigh, which caught your attention, so you looked down. This is it; this is the same feeling you felt when he first asked you to be his girlfriend. You burst into tears after reading the message on his arm; Chris' forearm rested in your lap while holding a black marker in his hand. You sniffed, looking softly at him. He was now in tears too. Taking the black marker from his grip, you clicked it; resting your hand on his forearm to steady yourself, you answered his question.
'Will you marry me, y/n?' the question written in his bold writing stared right back at you.
You always had your answer 'of course.'
You closed the lid on the pen, and Chris opened his hand; your engagement ring sat in the nook of his palm. He slides it onto your ring finger right next to your rose-gold one. You smile blinking through the tears, you turn to him, and Chris had already stood with his arms in the air.
"SHE SAID YES"
The whole audience got up cheering; he leaned in, cupping your cheeks, both of you laughing through your kisses. He had lifted you into his arms, spinning you around. He set you back down; you wiped the tears from your face laughing while wearing your t-shirt. At that point, you knew everyone was in on your proposal; you turned to your cast members, who were all clapping.
"Give a round of applause for the future Mr and Mrs Evans!" Joe spoke.
You went around hugging everyone who had gotten up just to congratulate the pair of you. One by one, your friends embraced you in their arms.
"Congratulations", two-voice spoke from behind you, "oh my god, you idiots", you chuckled, pulling your parents into a big hug. Chris stood next to you as your dad pulled him into a hug. "Your fiancé sends her congratulations", he laughed, referencing the conversation you had with them last night.
Chris looked down at you, "They had texted me last night what you had said. I'm surprised you didn't catch on", he laughed. "I- I didn't know... I was curious after mum said it so suspiciously but didn't think," you mentally face-palmed yourself.
And like that, the panel was concluded. Everyone congratulating you and Chris before leaving. Chris had set up a little engagement party back at your house; everyone was enjoying their time having fun. You sat on Chris' lap still in shock, his arms wrapped around your waist "you didn't see that coming, did you?" he smirked, looking up at you.
"No... no, I didn't" you laughed sweetly. Your hand ran over Chris' forearm where it still had both his and your writing on it. "That was the best proposal ever" you looked at him, smiling, "I'm glad, darling" you both leaned into each other, lips connecting softly.
"I've fallen deeply in love with you, Mr Evans".
"I'm still falling for you".

I got you (Platonic)
Tumblr media
Requested by @emcon-imagines
“Jemma --” Daisy said, as much as she loved her friend, she knew that she still wasn’t at the top of her lying game. To be honest, she hoped that Jemma never made it there, as if that would signal some sort of end to the Jemma Simmons she knew.
Still, back on point, “Daisy...I promised Y/N…” She said. And, that did get her attention, she had promised you something.
“I just wanna help her, Simmons. I mean, you’ve seen her...Tired, not herself. Not the bubbly person we all know. Something’s going on…” She knew how this would seem to anyone else; someone interrogating someone, almost gaslighting in some way to get some information.
But, the two women knew better; it was two friends trying to help another.
Besides, the three had formed their own group; the term “power puffs” being thrown around a lot. Still, not the point --
“I didn’t just swear and drop my concern, Daisy. I wanted to help too…” She trailed off, and Daisy nodded for her to continue, “I did to her that she would probably get yelled at...but, she brushed it off at the time. I don’t think Fitz’s sarcasm helped it either.”
“What’d he say?”
“‘What’s the worst thing that could happen? I mean, yeah, you’ll probably get yelled at, but it’s not like she’s going to kill you.’ And I said, ‘Not helping’ and...Oh, sorry.” She said, catching herself.
Daisy smiled, “It’s alright, Jem. Just, tell me, please. I’ll stop after that.”
Jemma could never say now the puppy dog expression Daisy Johnson could pull off, “...That’s the problem, she isn’t stopping. But, she told me to not bother you about it. She knows how you can be with this and...she doesn’t want to worry anyone else. She says she can handle it.” The Brit said, almost in one entire breath.
“Famous last words, sadly in some cases.” Daisy said, looking out the window before back to Jemma, “Where is she now?”
As Jemma went to answer, her gaze changed; she looked alert, “Well...there.” She said, nodding her head behind Daisy.
The woman turned, seeing you walk in, bag over your shoulder from yet another assignment...yet another few months undercover.
If you were good at hiding the strain of the work before, this was not one of those times; with the heaviness in your eyes, worn down expression and posture of your body.
It was getting to you.
Daisy then looked to Jemma, giving her friend a pat on the arm, “I got this.” She promised, before taking her leave.
She wasn’t one to break them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You had put the weapons away, and was getting ready for the ebrie. Just ready to get that ticked off, then wait until the next job comes your way. You had to keep going, SHIELD was always cut throat, but especially now; you were on the back foot and what not. You had to prove yourself to Coulson, he brought you and Daisy in and kept you in despite what you had done to them.
That had to be worth something.
You went with your bag, a bag mixed with your own things and the contents of the sting. Smart? No, not really. But, you were working with limited time. So, you know.
Besides, Coulson had cleared it and said it was fine.
So, you went into the kitchen, gonna go upstairs to get it all done with, when you paused…
There, on her laptop, was your sister, just typing away.
Given the fact of the bottle of water she had was only just opened, you had to guess that she had only just set up.
“Hey.” She said, looking up at you from the table, smiling as if you hadn’t caught her in the act.
“Hey.” You said back, dropping the bag to the floor. You both held each others stare for a moment too long; you had been in each others lives for forever, so you could read each other like a book.
“Been there long?” You asked, hands going in your pocket. You knew the answer, but still…
“Nah, just waiting for you.” She said, moving to sitting on the table, legs dangling off of it, “Just wanted to see if you were ok.”
You held your arms out to your side for a moment, a kind of “here I am” gesture, before letting them slap against your body as you let them drop, “I’m ok...Just want to get up there.” You said, pinching your nose as you closed your eyes for a moment; a rare moment of letting this toll be known to the world in a way that was intentional.
Daisy saw a way in there, “You tired? I mean, sleep deprivation and mental health issues don’t really go hand in hand...You’re gonna snap.”
You nodded, same posture as before, “Sure. Just wanna get up there and do this, D.”
“Coulson doesn’t need it right now.”
“He does.” You argued.
She sighed, the Johnson gene of stubbornness surely rubbing off on you, “Look, Y/N/N, I get it. But, AC -- Well, DC, is more than ok with this. Trust me.”
“Yeah, well, I’ll do shit like that when you do.” Ok, fair; did it hit? Yeah, but she wasn’t a sunken battleship yet...that phrase was weird.
Anyways, “Y/N,” She started, getting up and grabbing your hands in her own, looking you right in the eyes, “You’re tired, ok? Actually tired….I mean, look, you can barely stand right now. What you need, is rest. Ok?”
Out of the siblings, you weren’t as open as she was. But, as said before, she knew you better than anyone else. And, because of that, you could be yourself with her. You let yourself nod, eyes dropping to the ground. She squeezed your hands, smile coming onto her face.
It was like that Skye part of her, the inner child of her’s that needed healing was alway there; the optimist that refused to see the dark.
Still, she grabbed your bag, putting an arm around your shoulder, and leading you to your room.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your room was a fucking mess. Jesus, was it a mess. Now, Jemma had told Daisy that she had no one touch it; no one go in or even put their hand on the door knob.
But...it was messy, to say the least.
The two of you stood, silently looking at the state of your room; clothes everywhere, doors left open, bed sheets unorganised.
She heard your breath shudder a bit. It seemed you had forgotten that the room was left like this. Then again, she was sure you were almost leading two - well, now really more than two - lives at once; SHIELD, your own, and the many undercover personas you had to adapt to.
Hunter’s lecture about SHIELD not being a lifestyle but a job was true; granted, it was a belief in the world and the good that laid in it, but he still had a point.
It seemed for you, those two had fully blurred into on destructive, stress filled life. And it was slowly killing you.
You entered first, grabbing some clothes from the floor and going into your bathroom, locking the door.
She, meanwhile, went to your bed, smelling them and groaning at the stink that came from them.
She put the bag down, picking up some of your other clothes - less yours, more SHIELD’s clothes that they gave to operatives.
There was no style, only a branded shirt (some actually were, but that’s not the point) to say “Shoot at me, I’m with the people you guys at HYDRA hate!”
She put them away, the clothes coloured black. She remembered when you used to have a more colourful attire, an expression to who you were.
No, it was just SHIELD.
After the clothes had been sorted, she then sat on the floor, opening the bag. She looked up at the sound from your bathroom, a shower being turned on.
She looked back to the bag, seeing bags of cocaine, some files...and your clothes. One of the bags had a hole in, and some of the contents had gone from the bag and onto your own clothes. These ones were yours...now stained with coke.
With work…
The shower was still going. And she knew that you were devoted to these people...but what had you lost in the process?
She went further into the bag, digging deep into it. It took a few moments, but she found something, her fingers brushed against something…
Removing her hand from the bag, she found a necklace; she smiled, this one more nostalgic. It was a necklace that you had both gotten together with some money you had both saved. Inside there was a photo of the pair of you…
You’d kept it, you were still there.
She looked to the door, the shower was still going. She looked to the clothes...she could make a quick trip…
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She came back, clothes in her possession, but no bag. The bag was with Coulson, but the clothes and necklace she kept.
She came back in, putting the clothes on the bed. The door opened, and you emerged, now in sleep gear.
“Hey.” You said.
She smiled, “Hey.” She said back.
“Can - can you uh, can you stay for the night? Just...after all that, and what you said...I think I could use a break…?”
Her smile softened, “Of course.” She said.
You were still you...you still had your own life.
SHIELD wasn’t your lifestyle, just a belief in the world and a job.

That is the most ridiculous thing Ransom had ever heard. And he has heard some bullshit.
The only thing he could tell from looking at someone for the first time was whether they were of any use to him or not. So when Meg was rambling on about love, that too, at first sight, Ransom scoffed at the idea. He bit into his overpriced biscuit with a roll of his eyes, pausing the conversation that he was unwilling to entertain any longer.
“You know what Ransom, I’m not surprised you’re dismissing the idea without even hearing it,” Meg challenged.
“Oh yeah? And why’s that?” he retorted, a bit amused by her slight outburst.
“If your parents bothered with you, maybe you would understand what it’s like to be loved by someone.”
Although he didn’t show it, it struck a chord in him. It wasn’t something he dared to complain about anymore, but there was a time he would have done anything for their affection.
“Okay then, let’s hear this horseshit you’re spewing,” he replied, not breaking the façade of smugness.
“When you meet someone, your subconscious and unconscious mind pick up patterns in their behaviour, little mannerisms and anything it can get its hands on. Your conscious mind interprets that as vibes. So you get a bad vibe from someone, it’s ‘cause your mind recognizes it from somewhere else, someone you don’t like.”
“And what does this have to do with love at first sight?” Ransom impatiently tapped his foot.
“I have a theory that love, at first sight, is possible if you’re in tune with your intuition. You feel good vibes from someone, you ride with it. And there’s a possibility you’ll override the rational part of your brain that tells you that you can’t love someone right after meeting them,” she concluded. “But then again, this only works if you’re capable of loving someone. Otherwise, your brain has no one to reference,” she added.
Ransom’s jaw clenched before he took in a breath.
“Like I said. Just a bunch of horseshit,” he said, getting up to leave.
Tumblr media
He called it horseshit but he couldn’t stop thinking about it. It irked him that no matter how many girls he pulled, not one of them could make him feel the love had Meg described. He concluded that he was incapable of love because, of course,  that was the only plausible explanation.
It was a friend’s birthday. To say the least, he was not looking forward to it. He was in a rare mood to stay home and call it a night instead of getting his dick wet. Unfortunately, his presence was promised - he would rather not hear about this later so he did his future self a favour and got ready.
His black pants were paired with a maroon sweater that cost a little less than his king-sized bed. A rose-gold watch adorned his wrist and he threw on his signature tan coloured coat. He didn’t want to go but he that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t miss out on the opportunity to advertise his status.
Walking into the party, he regretted his decision to come at all. The corners were brimming with drunk people, though it had been only 1 hour since the party started. Shrill and irritating voices rung through the air. As usual, girls of no substance clung to every word of the fabricated tales boys told. Despite this, the unsavoury circumstances invited him, called his name even. After all, this was the lifestyle he lived for.
Taking in the scene before him, he strode down the room. His presence alone demanded respect and attention, both which he got a surplus of at these events.
His stride was abruptly halted when a figure crashed into him, spilling wine down his chest. Sure, it blended in with the sweater, but he was still pissed. Someone didn’t notice him, which caused them to bump into him and that rubbed him the wrong way.
“Won’t you look where your going, for god fucking sake this is worth more than you,” he snapped at the unsuspecting girl.
You had a mess of your own to take care of. Wine slipped down your dress, between your cleavage and onto your stomach. You were going to apologize but you heard his comment, paused your sentence to look up at him.
Laughter echoed in the background and people called Ransom’s name but it was long forgotten when he saw you.
Love, at first sight.
It didn’t seem so ridiculous anymore.
The mere sight of you was a harsh contrast to the cruel world he has dealt with his entire life. It was like the universe wrapped and presented you as the embodiment of a second chance for his life. To think that love, at first sight, was ridiculous.
Your beauty wasn’t something he understood. It wasn’t like the beauty he sought during the lonely hours of night, when he simply required a bedwarmer to ease the ache. It was memorable, almost like a blend of warm vibrancy; a feeling resembling that of the summer’s sun, kissed his skin ever so delicately.
He thought he was dying for a second. His hands were tingly and would not ease up no matter how much he clenched and unclenched them. His heart dove straight to his stomach, refusing to come up for air as long as he continued to look at you.
You on the other hand, you were conflicted. You were going to give him a piece of your mind for talking to you like that but one look at him and you wanted to run away. It was too intense for you.
His piercing stare mirrored the moon, melted and poured into the mould that he called eyes. His aura radiated coldness. Yet, you just knew that his hands would be as warm as a bonfire during a snowstorm. Being around him would be like the slight sting that you felt when winter’s breeze grazed your skin. That sting, no matter how painful, is rewarding when you consider his arms that would envelope you as a blanket.
Momentarily looking into each others eyes, both of you knew. You just knew. You were both thinking the same thing. It felt like eons had passed since the wine spill but logically, you knew it had only been seconds.
“Don’t talk to me like that” you finally blurted. No matter how enamored you were with him, you needed to knock him down a few pegs.
“I-I… I’m”
“You’re?” you raised an eyebrow at him.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” he stuttered. He felt like he would never recover from this embarrassment.
“I-uhm. It’s okay. I just…” you trailed off, realizing you weren’t even sure what to say.
“Can we get out of here?” he piped up.
It took you by surprise because you were thinking the same thing. You considered it too bold a thing to say but here he was.
You held his wrist and led him out. As soon as you marched out the door, he pulled his arm up, and you assumed he was going to take it out of your grasp. He surprised you though, instead, holding your hand.
Tumblr media
The dress and the sweater became irrelevant; all either of you could focus on was the warm grip you both had on each other’s hands as you strolled through the overly extravagant neighbourhood.
Part of your mind was screaming at yourself, as was his. He could kill you, you thought. Or do worse. And here you are, walking with a complete stranger through a neighbourhood you don’t even know.
“I thought you felt it too,” he confessed. “That’s why I... really, I don’t ever do this.”
The old Ransom would have said ‘I know you felt it too.’ It hadn’t been ten minutes since you met him and you were already changing him.
“I've never done this either. I mean frankly, you could be a murderer and here I am, holding you hand,” you joked.
“I’m not a murderer,” he chuckled, “But I can’t help but feel a little weird about this.” You looked up at the moon-less night, convinced that it wasn’t a coincidence.
“I know… I-... I don’t even know your name,” you giggled and his heart fluttered around his chest. He couldn’t compare the feeling to butterflies - it was more like hummingbirds, refusing to settle.
“I felt something and it’s weird ‘cause I was so scared. I was scared and overwhelmed by this sort of dread. Dread that was like, what if you didn’t feel the same way?” you rambled, only slightly cautiously. You knew nothing of this man, and you were laying out how you felt in the open?
“My name is Ransom,” he stopped the stroll and faced you, picking up your other arm.
“Y/N” you meekly responded, having difficulty meeting his eyes. You had never felt such a burn in your cheeks, yet right now, you felt like your face was on fire.
“Hey, hey” he softly tilted you chin up. “Can we run with this? Whatever this is?” He would get on his knees and plead if he had to. Because you were right; he felt like he would die if you didn’t feel the same way.
“Please. Let’s run with this. Whatever this is, let’s just run with it,” you agreed and nodded lightly, not breaking out of the stare.
“What is this?” he uttered under his breath and rested his forehead onto yours.
You closed your eyes and breathed in the same air as him. His warmth and scent reminded you of sugar cookies and pine trees.
He took in a breath and felt the aroma of vanilla and fresh roses evade his senses.
“I don’t know. But I like it,” you breathed.
He cupped your face and pulled away to look at your face again. He planted a delicate but firm kiss to your forehead as you encased his waist with your arms, naturally gravitating towards him. He tenderly held your face as he pulled away. One look and you were a goner, but now, you’re utterly floored by the mere thought of him.
Love, that too, at first sight.
Wasn’t horseshit after all.

It was an exciting day for the staff at Black Gold Cooperative, and exciting days at Black Gold Cooperative were often hard to come by. Every year Maxwell Lord would begrudgingly allow his staff to take a few hours out of their work schedule to help decorate his main headquarters in time for Christmas. Christmas music boomed throughout each floor as everyone from secretaries, associates, chefs and cleaners would help each other engage in festive decorating. It was so much fun, everyone was beaming and laughing. The staff made sure to enjoy every second of it because they knew by tomorrow it would all be over.
Brittany, one of Maxwell Lord’s three assistants, had designated her input to the main lobby as she ushered in loggers who had cut down the forest’s biggest Christmas tree. They were pushing it into the lobby but struggling to get it through the double doored main entrance. Fern and pine cones nudged off the tree and rolled along the red carpet in the entryway.
“What are you just standing there for? Go help them!” she commanded the doorman, Andreas, with a roll of her eyes. The tall and strong built doorman walked over to the loggers and asked them if they needed any help.
Brittany turned around when she saw the dazzling yellow gold fairy lights strung delicately along the grand staircase. Her heart stopped when she saw the man of her dreams walk down them. Her very own prince Charming. Maxwell Lord was in a daze as he looked around the lobby of his company’s headquarters. Christmas lights sparkle and shine all around him, tinsel and banners strung up over paintings and portraits. Maxwell would never involve himself with the Christmas decorating but he did have a duty to check that it wasn’t overly tacky each year.
His dark blonde hair glistened golden under the fairylights that surrounded him, and he looked so incredibly smart in his light blue suit jacket, lilac shirt and royal purple tie with matching pocket square. Of course he looked just as smart every day but it was always special when he chose to wear colour instead of just chiaroscuro. Brittany caught on to Maxwell’s confused expression when his eyes locked onto the struggling loggers and his doorman pushing a Christmas tree through the double door.
“What’s going on over there?” Maxwell asked as his other assistant, Stephanie, who handed him his go-to black coffee. Brittany approached him with a wide smile.
“They’re struggling because we decided to get a bigger Christmas tree this year. They’ve spent the past half an hour trying to push it through the door.” Brittany explained, scrunching her nose up in dismay.
“And who’s idea was it to get a bigger Christmas tree?” Maxwell asked, folding his arms against his chest. The loggers had finally pushed it through and were now trying to position it just by the left of the grand staircase. Maxwell huffed out an annoyed sigh as he saw the mess of fern that had trailed in behind the tree.
“Andreas’ idea.” Brittany pointed at the exhausted doorman who was now covered in dirt from trying to move the Christmas tree. That was a lie. It had been Brittany’s idea to get a bigger tree. Stephanie narrowed her eyes and shook her head at her colleague.
Maxwell Lord sauntered away from his assistant’s and to the shop that was located just by the main reception help desk. He’d go there everyday and purchase the same bar of chocolate and chat up the lady who he had working behind the counter.
Everyone continued with their decorating, humming the lyrics to Do They Know It’s Christmas by BandAid which had just been released that week. Seeing everyone so jolly lit a fire in Maxwell’s heart. It reminded him of his own childhood.
The only reason he kept up with the tradition of decorating Black Gold Cooperative for Christmas was because his father used to allow it too. And it was one of the only times of the year he got to spend with him. Maxwell remembered the way his father would lift him onto his shoulders and encourage Maxwell to put the star on the top of the tree. Once the young boy managed to do so, the whole of his father’s office would cheer and applaud for him. The pride was something that elated a young Maxwell and he loved the validation that he got from, not only his father’s inferiors, but most importantly, his own father.
Maxwell would accompany his father around the office and watch as he gave gifts to his employees. He was more than generous, handing things out such as expensive bottles of champagne and tickets to Santa’s grotto to those he knew had families.
“I want to go see Santa,” a young Maxwell wailed one year.
“And what could you possibly want to see Santa for?” Maxwell’s father laughed, pinching his son’s chubby cheeks. “You already have every single toy you could possibly want.”
Maxwell frowned, his chocolate brown eyes sparkling. “I want to meet Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.” the child admitted, folding his arms and puffing out his cheeks.
“I see.” Maxwell’s father chuckled before picking his son up and planting a kiss on his forehead. “You know daddy’s busy, but what if you ask mommy to take you?”
“Mommy never takes me anywhere.” Maxwell frowned sadly and his father nodded understandably, his arms tightening around his son as he hugged him. He knew his wife was an absent mother but there was so little he could do about it.
“Maybe next year, huh son? Would you like that? Daddy can try and get some time off work.” Maxwell nodded sadly as his father put him to the ground. “Now go to your playroom. I want you to finish writing your Christmas list so we can send it to Santa Claus.” His father encouraged. “Remember I want you to do your best cursive handwriting. Can you do that for me?”
Maxwell nodded happily before padding away to his playroom. Despite his father’s empty promises, he never got the chance to meet Santa Claus or speak to Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.  He never got to experience the same things as other children his age did.
"Mr Lord, I was thinking we position the Christmas tree here. Decorate it with black and gold baubles, of course— oh, and tinsel too. What do you think?" Brittany asked, interrupting her boss’ thoughts. She twirled her finger in the air, gesturing for the logger’s to rotate the tall pine tree into a slightly new position. "That's much better. Now, Amanda wanted an angel on the top, bit I was thinking a gold glittered star would be much more fitting-"
The star at the top of the tree. Just like his childhood. Maxwell shook away the painful memories. He held his hand out, in a motion that would connote ‘stop’. Brittany listened. "I don't care." Maxwell said, looking up at the tree and shaking his head. Brittany’s grip tightened around her clipboard as she followed her boss to the grand staircase.
"Right, of course. My bad sir. But I was thinking how nice it may be, for you to have a Christmas tree in your own office?"
"And what purpose will that serve?" Maxwell asked with half a sigh before taking a sip of his espresso. His face soured at the bitter taste and he threw the practically full cup into the trash. He had forgotten how fast his hot drinks would turn cold during the incoming winter period. "What the fuck does it take to get a decent coffee around here?" He muttered to himself, but loud enough for Stephanie to hear. Stephanie scowled. No matter what she just couldn’t make a nice coffee.
"It would look nice," Brittany beamed. "Festive."
"No." Maxwell replied, checking the time on his gold wristwatch. Slightly alarmed, he turned away from the lit up staircase and he began to approach the elevator, Brittany continuing to follow quickly behind him.
"Sir, don't you like Christmas?" Brittany asked her boss curiously.
"No." Maxwell repeated, his voice just as monotone as before. He really didn’t want to talk about this.
"But why not?"
"Brittany do I pay you to ask me questions?" Maxwell snapped, spinning around on his heel and grabbing his assistant by her chin. She looked up at her boss, fluttering her dark eyelashes which framed her emerald coloured eyes.
"No sir." She replied innocently, biting her lower lip. Maxwell smirked, his grip tightening on her.
"What do I pay you for?" he growled quietly, his face just inches away from hers.
"You pay me to look pretty and be there whenever you may need any assistance." Brittany remembered his exact words from the day he hired her.
"Good girl," Maxwell praised. "I don't appreciate all these questions from you. You want to put your mouth to good use? I suggest you shut up and head to my office. Undress yourself. I'll be five minutes."
Brittany nodded with an eager smile spread across her face and bolted up the grand staircase. Once Maxwell had shared a few polite sentiments and signed a few autographs from the loggers who had come in with the Christmas tree, he took the elevator to the 22nd floor of his office.
Amanda, who was manning the desk outside of Maxwell’s personal office, rolled her eyes as she noticed Maxwell following Brittany in there just minutes after. Knowing what they’d both be up to, she continued filing her nails - trying to get the perfect shape when her colleague, Stephanie, practically fell out of the elevator when the door slid open to the 22nd floor of Black Gold Cooperative’s headquarters.
In shock, Amanda dropped her nail file on the floor and her head bolted upright, gaze following a heaving and panting Stephanie. Stephanie ran to the desk, grabbing the corners so hard her knuckles turned white, panic spread across her face.
"Stephanie, what's wrong?" Amanda asked, tilting her head slightly.
"She's here." Stephanie was gasping for breath, fear prevailing in her ice blue eyes. Stephanie didn’t have to say who exactly had entered the premises because her tone said it all.
"That's impossible." Amanda scoffed, rolling her eyes and picking her nail file up.
"I saw her," Stephanie continued. "Downstairs. In the lobby. I was trying to make Mr Lord a new and improved espresso and she just threw her fur jacket on me - like I was some kind of coat rack. She'll be up here any second now. Where is Brittany?"
That’s when the fear dawned on Amanda.
Now also panicked, Amanda looked at the large double doors at the end of the room which led into Maxwell Lord's personal and private office. Stephanie's gaze followed and her ruby red lips parted into a perfect ’o’ shape. "She's not… is she?" Stephanie shook her head in disbelief. Amanda nodded her head, agreeing to Stephanie’s insinuation. "What the hell do we do?!"
"Oh no oh no," Amanda began pacing around in circles behind the desk. "They don't train you for this!" She exclaimed, holding her head in her hands. "I think we better go tell them that she's here before she walks in on them."
"Are you kidding me?" Stephanie gasped, placing a hand on her hip. "Fine. You go. I do not want to be the one who interrupts Maxwell Lord IV when he's in the middle of you-know-what."
"He'll be grateful!" Amanda pointed out, urging Stephanie enter Maxwell's office. "Look, what sort of guy wants his mother to walk in on him going down on a random girl?"
Stephanie rolled her eyes. "Mr Lord doesn't go down on any of us."
"He goes down on me." Amanda smiled proudly.
"You're lying." Stephanie tutted.
"Am not!" Amanda argued.
Neither of the girls noticed Mrs Maxine Lord walking straight past them and into her son’s office. She froze at the door and a wicked smirk planted across her lips when she saw a disheveled Brittany wipe her face with a silk handkerchief, provided courtesy from her boss. Maxwell’s brown eyes widened as he saw his mother standing there with her hand on hip. Brittany was practically shaking in fear as she discarded the handkerchief and tightened the ponytail in her hair.
“Mrs Lord!” Brittany exclaimed with a teary eyed but polite smile. “How unexpected it is to see you. Can I get you anything?”
“You can leave.” Maxine said bitterly. Brittany nodded and ran out the office. Maxwell zipped his pants up and slouched into his chair as his mother took a seat opposite him. “Do you want a lawsuit?” she asked her son with a frown.
“What are you talking about?” Maxwell sighed, taking a comb and fixing his dark blonde hair.
“You keep fucking your assistants. One of them will rat you out and try suing. I just know it.” Maxine shook her head, placing her Chanel purse on her lap. “And Maxwell, I don’t want the future heir of Black Gold Cooperative to be the child of some no good under qualified assistant. Heaven forbid.”
“Mother, why did you come here unannounced?” Maxwell sighed, wanting to change the subject immediately. Maxine composed herself before forcing a grin.
“I spoke to president Reagan,” she beamed. “He said we can host this year’s Christmas gala at the White House.”
“Okay?” Maxwell rolled his eyes and took out a stack of papers from underneath his desk and began flicking through the pages. He figured if he looked busy, then maybe his mother would leave him alone.
“Maureen will be there.” she cooed, snatching away the papers that were in her son’s hand.
“And?” Maxwell sighed again, frustration building up inside of him as he looked at his fingers, thinking her abrupt action had given him a paper cut.
“Oh come on Maxwell!” his mother exclaimed, annoyance prevalent in her voice. “Think about it. Your future child’s grandfather could be president Ronald Reagan! And Maureen is quite the natural beauty. I mean - before she had all that work done. It would truly be great for the business. Can you imagine the publicity?”
“Do you hear yourself?” Maxwell shouted and stood to his feet. “I am not interested in Maureen, nor will I be attending this ridiculous Christmas gala. Jesus Christ - I don’t even support Reagan.”
“Yes you will attend the gala Maxwell, because I say so.” Maxine raised her voice just as loudly as her son, asserting her authority. “I think you’re forgetting your roots. Your father founded the annual Black Gold Cooperative Christmas gala. Now imagine how he’d feel if he knew you had no interest in showing up.” Maxwell’s heart stung and he dropped his head in shame. She was right. He would be disappointed. “I will page you the details,” Maxine promised. “In the meanwhile - I want you to sort this dirty business you have going on with your assistants. You want a whore? You could at least pay them for being your whore.” she spat in disgrace.
Maxwell knew his mother didn’t mean her words and the last thing she would want is her son frolicking around with someone who he paid for sex and sex only. She wanted him to find a suitor who was just as wealthy and well respected as him.
However it did strike him with an idea. What if he were to hire someone who could be there for him whenever he needed that release? His assistant’s were on thin ice and he understood that there was always the potential of an impending lawsuit. That would be more than damaging to his reputation.
He needed someone new. Someone who would be more than happy with satisfying his sexual desires. Someone he could easily come to a mutual agreement with him. He’d have his lawyer draft a contract. But it wouldn’t be easy. If it got out to the public - that Maxwell Lord was looking for a partner just to simply gratify his sexual needs - the tabloids would eat him up. Luckily, Maxwell Lord was cunning, scheming, and he had the perfect idea.

War of Hearts Part 1
Loving a Clone Captain and being a Senator is even harder than it looks
very long, sorry for not writing for so long. I try to get part 2 out as fast as possible, the same for part 2 of into the new world
Tumblr media
youtube
The moonlight up the dark sky showing the beautiful colours hiding in the darkness. The light illuminated your face, your head was placed against the cold window. You scanned the still busy Coruscant streets for a specific person. Your long dress dropped over the edge of the seat you were sitting on. Your feet covered by a thick blanket. "You're still awake," a deep voice said making your eyes widen. "I couldn't sleep, you're haunting me in my dreams, you won't let me sleep," you said getting up. "I'm sorry," he said, his large hand wrapping around your waist," I love it," you said pressing your lips against his." I love you Rex" you whispered," I can't stay long, I'm getting deployed again" he stroked your back gently," Can you wait until I'm asleep?" he hummed," Of course" he took your hand and walked to your bed. The silk sheets were a mess, prove that you tried to sleep but failed. Rex shed his cloak and placed it on a nearby chair. "You got shot," you said looking at his arm, between his shoulder armour and his bicep you can see his blacks ripped and white badge peaking through." It's nothing," he said gently pushing you down on the bed and placing the blood-red silk blanket over your body," I'm worried about you," you said placing your head on his chest," Don't be, I always come back to you," he said kissing your temple," Promise?"," Promise" he smiled kissing your lips. " How long do you think we have to hide?" he asked after a while of silence," Hopefully not forever but you are a clone and I'm a Senator. The odds are against since the beginning," you said nuzzling into his neck," I won't let them take you away Rex," you said. Rex looked down at you with a soft smile, your eyes were closed, your lashes sitting peacefully on your reddened cheeks, soft breaths left your mouth," I love you forever" he whispered.
After knowing for sure you were asleep Rex carefully peeled you off him. You sighed and shifted but didn't wake up much to Rex's relief. He grabbed his cloak and threw it over his shoulder, pulling the hood over his face. He gave you one last look, smiling softly at your peaceful state. He could watch you sleep forever, it calms him down, everything is forgotten when he is close to you. He sneaks out of your room dodging his brother in the Coruscant guard mostly Fox though. Even though they were brothers they didn't really get along, Fox like the other Coruscant guards where bit full of themselves as 'protecting the Chancellor is the most important thing', in their opinion. Rex could see Fox walk down the corridor checking if everything is normal, usually he is stationed either by the Chancellor or by the prison but with another meeting with the senate is tomorrow he was put in charge of that. Rex peeks from the corner and saw Fox disappearing into a room but not before he was checking his surroundings. Rex felt curiously build inside of him but he didn't want to take a chance of being caught. He quickly found himself outside the building. The cold Coruscant air hitting his warm face, the wind blowing his cloak a bit, he grabbed onto his hood tightly so it can't fly off his head.
The sun stung in your eyes making you wince. You felt that Rex's warm body wasn't next to you. The side where he was cold meaning he was gone for a while. A knock on your door made you jump," Who is it?" you called out," Padmé and Riyo" the voice said," Come in" you said flopping back. Your two friends enter your room," Told you she is still in bed" the blue-skinned girl said with a smirk," Get up, it's nearly time to go" Padmé said grabbing your ankle and pulling you slowly of the bed," Padmé" you called grabbing the bedpost but Riyo started to pull at your other ankle," For a girl who grew up in an aristocratic environment you act quite the opposite" Riyo said as you plopped down on the floor with a thud. "What's going on with you?" Padmé asked concerned, you were tempted to tell them about you and Rex, they where your friends after all but you can't risk it if someone finds out Rex is dead and you can't image a world without him.
Rex was walking beside Anakin barely listening to what he was saying. His mind was racing, he hoped he would catch a glimpse of you but at the same time, he wishes he didn't as he would jump you the second you stepped close to him. " Rex!" Anakin said slapping his back," Huh?" he said looking at him, readjusting his helmet under his arm," What's going on? You seemed distracted" he said," Emm nothing sir" Anakin nodded, his gaze staying on Rex for a second. Rex wanted to tell Anakin deep down but the fear in his chest of being caught and dragging your name down was too big. "General Skywalker," a female voice said making Rex look up, his heart skipped a beat, you stood beside Padmé as she hugged Anakin," Senator Amidala, Senator L/N," he said bowing slightly," What are you doing here?" Padmé asked as you tried not to stare at Rex or to jump into his strong arms, Rex felt the same, he was looking at Padmé but stole some glances from you. You looked stunning, the red fabric looked great against your skin, Rex just wanted to kiss your Rosie lips not wanting to care about the rules, if you weren't a Senator if you would have been just an ordinary citizen he would have kissed you right here not caring if he was court-martialed. "Y/N and I need to go. See you later General" Padmé said with a soft smile before grabbing your hand and walking away. You looked at Rex one last time with a loving smile." Ahh I see, I know what's bothering you" Anakin said making Rex's heart jump," You have a crush on Senator L/N. Don't blame you, Rex, she's pretty not as Pretty as Senator Amidala but pretty and I think she likes you too" Anakin said with a wink as Rex sighed in relief as Anakin clearly didn't have a clue of their relationship. " Don't bother though, Senator's are really hard to date, all they talk is politics" he said making Rex lift a brow," Which I wouldn't know about" Anakin said quickly before slapping Rex's backside making the clone gasp," Let's head for our positions".
Like many council meetings it ended in a big argument, Padmé and you like always seemed to agree with trying to give people like the clones more human but it was thrown out. You were walked back to your room by a Coruscant guard which you didn't know the name of, he didn't speak anyway. During the whole meeting, you could feel Rex staring at you from his position, it was like a superpower for better or worse. Walking into the large room you spotted Rex sitting on the red couch, his blond hair getting illuminated by the Coruscant sun. " Rex," you said softly making him look up," I'm so sorry, Padmé and I tried but-"," It's fine, I'm used to it," he said wrapping his arm around your waist. He kissed your forehead and then nuzzled his face into your neck, his hot breath tickling your neck," Even though I can't be seen in public with you, I love you and I will until I die" he said kissing your neck softly. "And so will I," you said grazing his scalp gently," You getting deployed tomorrow right as your still here?". Rex sighed and nodded caressing your cheek," Make love to me than" you said has his arms rub your side," You sure?" you nodded.
You woke up the next day without Rex just like yesterday and most of the days you spend nights together. Touching your skin were Rex's lips has touched your skin yesterday. His lips were rough but it felt smooth against your skin. You heard a knock on your door making you quickly snap out of it. "Just a minute" you yelled grabbing your robe," Okay you can come in". Soon a blue-skinned, pink-haired senator entered with a happy expression," Hey Riyo" you smiled," Why are you so smiley?" you said with a smirk," Just a good day" she said tugging at her collar," At least someone has a good start" you said playing with your fingers," What's wrong?" she said placing her hand on top of yours," I.. it's nothing, just one of those days" you smiled.
It's has been three weeks since Rex left, he had two missions back to back. Umbara and now he is in Zygerria with Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahoska. You couldn't even talk to him or see him, he quickly commed you telling you what happened. His voice sounded tired, strained and broken, you're worried about him. You tried to contact one of his brothers but you were to busy with being a Senator and being sick on top of that. You were with Padmé and Riyo talking about the next meeting. You were barely listening as your head was dropping, your skin felt on fire and you felt like throwing up. " Y/N, you look horrible?" Padmé said placing her hand on her forehead," You're burning up. I take you to the nurse" she said wrapping her arm around your waist, Riyo rubbed your back with a sympathetic look. On your way to the nurse, Commander Fox alongside Thorn," Senators, where are you going?" Thorn asked," The nurse, Y/N isn't feeling well," Padmé said, Riyo stayed quiet, kinda hiding behind the two of you. Fox helmet still seemed to find her," Senator Chuchi, why are you hiding? We aren't that scary?" he hummed. Riyo tensed but shrugged it off quickly," We need to go. As you can see Y/N isn't feeling well," she said taking you from Padmé's arms and pushing through the two Commander's.
"Congratulations Senator your pregnant" the doctor said. Your eyes widen," I'm pregnant?" the doctor nodded. You looked at your friends who looked as shocked as you. " Y/N, who is the father?" Padmé asked after entering your room," I can't tell you" you whimpered," Why?" Riyo asked," Because he would be killed". It seemed to click for Padmé," It's Rex isn't it? He's the father of your child" you bit your lip and nodded," Please don't tell anyone. Rex will be killed and I can't live with that" you said as tears rolled down your cheek. " Don't worry we won't tell" Riyo said as Padmé nodded.
You sat on the couch playing with your fingers, the sun was already gone and the moon was bright against the dark sky. You heard the door open and thudding noise. "Hello me'shla" Rex said kissing your head," You look upset? What's wrong," he asked concerned sitting down next to you patting your thigh," I'm pregnant Rex" you mumble," Sorry?" he asked his voice gruff," I'm pregnant and obviously your the father" you spat out making Rex wince," What are we going to do?" he asked quietly," I will give birth to it and then we could put it up for adoption"," Is that what you want," Rex said rubbing your back," What I want? I want to be normal, I would love to have this baby and raise with you but.."," But I'm owned by the Senate and if they find out they kill me and do force knows what to the baby" Rex finished getting a bit angry. He rubbed his face and sighed," Let's call this off Y/N, if the find out your pregnant, they want to know who the father is" Rex said taking a deep breath," They will find out about us and-"," Goodbye Rex" you said kissing his cheek," It's for the best".
It's been a couple of months since Rex and you called it quits. Your belly grew and it's getting harder to hide it. Padmé and Riyo helped to hide your belly and coming up with a story. Everyone seemed to believe but Fox, however, seemed very keen on the identity of the father of the baby. "I finally got the Warren for his arrest," Fox said to Thorn," Chancellor finally found the evidence enough?"," Well he had to as Senator Chuchi spilt" your blood went cold," How did you manage that?"," I have my methods," he said a smirk evident in his voice. "No, Rex" you cupped your belly," What about the Senator?" Thire asked," Bring her to the Senator while I get the Captain" Fox said walking in the direction of your room.
Riyo was in her room when you burst in," Why did you tell him?", you snapped making her jump," Y/N come down it's not good for the baby-"," Don't give me advice, you told Fox about the baby being Rex's" her eyes widen and she looked down at her feet," I'm sorry, I was drunk and I thought he would just brush it off as drunk ramblings" she said placing her hands on your shoulder put you swatted them off," I can't forgive you for that, Rex will be killed because of you" you said venom dripping from your tongues. You didn't give her time to say something as you dashed off hoping to get to Rex in time, you might have broken up but you still loved him with all your heart.
Rex meanwhile was talking to Anakin and Fives when the Coruscant guards burst into the room and pointing their blasters at Rex," Captain Rex, you are under arrest for violating clone law" Thorn said grabbing Rex's arm," Hey let go of the Captain" Fives said throwing a punch at Thorn leading to him being tackled to the floor," Wow slow down, what law should he have broken?" Anakin asked placing his hand on Rex's chest," He was in a relationship with a Senator which lead to pregnancy" Thorn said making everything go quite. Everyone who was in the room watched in disbelief," Rex? Which Senator?" Thorn was about to answer when you burst in," Oh no" you said quietly," Senator Y/N speaking from the Devil, Commander Fox would be looking for you. Follow me" he ordered and you hung your head low as tears prickled in your eyes. Rex was pushed past you, his arm brushing against yours making your skin flush, he gave you a soft smile and his eyes quickly wandered down your body.
In a matter of minutes, you stood in front of Palpatine's office. Fox already stood in front of the door with his arms crossed, his visor looking down at you," There you are" he said moving aside to let you pass, Thorn pushed Rex into the office making him stumble a bit, you were about to say something when Rex shot you a look. You closed your mouth and walked behind feeling Fox's hand on your lower back which made you quicken your pace. "Chancellor, they are here," Fox said making the older man turn around. " Senator, how lovely to see you," he said," I would say the same but it would be a lie," you said crossing your arms," Now, now, don't be like that," he said gesturing you to sit which you did as your feet were killing you. Palpatine looked at Rex," Captain out of all of the clones you were one of the last clone I thought who would break a rule" Rex looked at the ground," I don't regret falling in love and I won't regret my child" he said making your heart skip a beat," How noble" Palpatine said," Won't save you, however. Your trail is tomorrow and it isn't looking good for you. Senator Y/N, Commander Fox will be walking you to your quarters" Palpatine said looking you up and down before whispering something into Fox's ear which made him tense up a bit.
Fox pushed you towards a ship while Thorn pulled Rex towards a different one which will take him to prison. "Where are you taking me?" Fox didn't say anything put motions you to sit. You watched out the window and saw Rex stare out the window, his eyes meeting yours, he smiled sadly and mouthed an 'I love you' which made you tear up a bit. You looked at Fox who was staring at you," Why are you doing this?" you mumble as the ship takes off," Why did you hand in your own brother?" he remained quiet," Answer me" you hissed. Fox sighed and took his helmet off, it was the same face Rex had but it was completely different at the same time. Fox's hair was jet black and trimmed neatly, he had light stubble on his jawline, his skin wasn't as dark and Rex's or any of the 501st as he works inside rather than on a battlefield. "It was my duty, he would have done the same," Fox said placing his helmet under his arm," No, he would have kept it.... why where with Riyo anyway?" you asked noticing him stiffing," Hypocrite, you and she are having an affair" you stated," It shouldn't have happened-"," Do you love her? I love Rex and Rex loves me. Riyo does she love you?"," I.. I love her" you scoffed. You turn away in disgust, Fox looking at his feet in shame," Turn the ship around" he said making you turn. Fox was facing the pilot," Fly to the nearest planet but not Kamino" he said, "Yes sir" the clone captain said. " I made a mistake and will do my best to make this better-" he was cut off with a loud bang which made you fall on the seat and hit your head against the floor making everything go black

Loki had been distant from you lately. There was nothing wrong with your relationship of course but ever since he had officially joined the Avengers after them fixing what they had messed up after defeating Thanos, he was working nonstop. They were draining him with risky missions, using every ounce of his seidr to their advantage, and while you were happy he was finally included in a way, you knew they did so with the intention of letting him pay for his actions prior to fighting on their side—to “make up” for the troubles he had caused, the pain he had inflicted on humanity and the lives he had taken.
New York, the Chitauri, the sceptre, the mind games… they still failed to realise none of it had truly been Loki’s fault—a circumstance which made your already cool attitude towards the Avengers bitter.
Loki had not been ignoring you, exactly. It seemed, however, now that his relationship with his own brother was finally changing for the better, he had simply forgotten that there was more to him than a mindless soldier saving the planet numerous times; and while Thor was one reason he kept complying with their orders, albeit using his own, if not questionable methods sometimes, the other was of a selfish nature. He would prove to them he was worthy of being called a hero. He would make women squeal for him just to spite them—but most importantly, he would impress you.
Loki would never admit that, of course, he was far too proud. Yet it was no secret how much he enjoyed your generous pampering when he returned from a long mission and bathed him, washing his hair, soaping his body and paying special attention to his manhood, hardening for you as soon as you brought your palms to his naked skin. But that was only when he returned. He still made tender love to you at night, ensuring you could fall asleep sated and satisfied before taking his own release but no longer, so it seemed, would you randomly pounce on each other throughout the day and spend hours eliciting orgasms from one another. You could barely remember the last time he had initiated some sexy roleplay or simply surprised you and tied you up in the living room to have his way with you, forcing climax after climax from your body until you almost fainted into his arms.
Whatever distracted him so much from taking time for himself, for you, it ought to change tonight. Loki was going to slog his guts out if he kept going like this and you were certainly not going to let him do that. An orgasm or two, or a dozen, would pose the perfect distraction.
You had just taken a shower. A long one, not a short one—all a short shower contained was soap, warm water and sometimes washing your hair. A long shower involved shaving, a hair mask, maybe a peeling and in your case, painting your nails in Loki’s colours.
Naked, you tiptoed towards the living room. It was chilly. You had recently turned off the heating now that it was getting warmer, the cool air instantly raising goose bumps on your limbs. Loki was sitting at your desk which you usually used for writing, leaning over a bunch of documents, photographs and briefing packs Fury had provided him with.
Quietly, you stepped in.
“I am missing something… those signatures are of magical origin…” He muttered, chewing on his pen. In another universe, he could have been a sexy professor teaching the Norse Myths. You bit your lower lip. You should definitely bring this fantasy up to him at some point… perhaps he could give you detention if you didn’t know the correct answer to a question…
He didn’t even look up when you entered the room. You pouted at his back, letting out a loud sigh so he would hear you—he was aware of your presence, of course. There was no tricking him.
“Loki?”
“In a moment, my dear.”
Your second sigh was even louder. Briefly, you even considered sitting down on the sofa and spreading your legs to masturbate in front of him. But then, before you could move, he finally looked up, his eyes widening a little as they roamed over your nude body. Loki swallowed thickly, you could see his Adam’s apple bopping. Stirring a little on his chair, he tilted his head, lips parting slightly. He was practically fucking you with his eyes.
“What are you doing?”
“I was still hot after taking a shower, so I decided not to put my clothes on just yet. No big deal.” You replied nonchalantly, shrugging in the process.
Loki quirked an eyebrow. “Liar. You are shivering.” Whether it was from the cold or your growing arousal, you could not tell. Perhaps it was a mixture of both.
You shrugged once more. He was smirking by the time you gazed down at him expectantly, hoping he would finally abandon those briefing packs and pounce on you like a hungry wolf. But Loki was not stupid. He knew exactly what you were trying to do—and he decided to play along and make you wait until your own impatience drove you crazy. Besides, he needed to get through all of these documents before noon tomorrow. He would travel to Muspelheim with Thor… and he would not be rested enough if he spent the night fucking the living daylights out of you, even if he desired to do just that and abandon this nerve-wrecking mission altogether.
“Well… whatever makes you comfortable, my dear.”
Damn it. You resisted stomping your foot on the ground like a child. Maybe you should masturbate before his eyes. The idea, so you figured, was unbelievably sexy. But then… an even better one struck you.
Not so long ago, Loki had showed you how speak to him telepathically so you could share your thoughts, fears and words with him whenever you were separated. It worked a little like forcing your mind onto him—all you had to do was focus hard. His seidr took care of the rest. He would be able to tell and form an invisible link between you.
You did not do this often, for most of the time you were together and could verbally communicate anyway. Loki had taught you in case of an emergency—or if you two wanted to tattle about the Avengers in their presence. It connected you on such a deep and subconscious level you had even, unintentionally, begun to share dreams.
You wondered… if that also applied to daydreams. Loki had already turned back to the briefing packs, though you did not miss how he kept glancing at you from the corner of his eye. Well then… sneakily, you sat down on the sofa in a lascivious pose and let your thoughts wander off.
You imagined… falling to your knees for him, looking up at him with innocent eyes as you bite your lower lip and bring your hands to the buttons of his leather trousers. He hisses—a considerable bulge already forming behind the dark fabric.
Immediately, Loki sat up straight. There was a connection then. You held back a mischievous chuckle.
Slowly—painfully so—you pull them all the way down to his ankles, revealing his semi-hard cock to you. It springs to life with joyful anticipation, twitching a little under your greedy gaze. You lick your lips, eager to taste him. You wrap your hand around him then, jerking him for a lazy moment before you lower your lip onto his tip, suckling gently. You couldn’t resist. Your hands are never enough with him. A moan escapes his lips.
Oh, no… a real moan escaped him, still sitting at your desk.
He was already clenching his fists. Oh yes, Trickster, you thought. Two can play this game.
You closed your eyes, letting your daydream unfold freely and wherever it would take you.
You lick over the underside of his entire length, now rock-hard between your fingers. Precum is leaking from his tip. You lap it up with your tongue greedily before pushing him into your mouth, inch by antagonising inch.
A giggle escaped your lips when he broke the pen in his hands. It snapped in two like a piece of wood, spilling blue ink all over the desk. He waved his hand to clean it, breathing heavily as he did and still—he insisted on keeping his gaze on those stupid briefing packs.
Bopping your head up and down his length, you take him as deep as you possibly can and moan, sending vibrations through his cock. He groans in your daydream, throwing his head back. He buries his fingers in your hair, holding it tightly to keep you in place and guide you. Faster and faster, until his hips start bucking forward. Saliva is dripping from your chin, your mouth so full you could barely try and swallow.  He tastes so good…
The real Loki in your shared living room growled. He was facing you now, glaring at you in a downright threatening manner, but this was too good to stop it now. You kept your eyes closed.
Loki comes. He pulls out of your mouth, forcing your head back possessively while his other hand jerked himself fast, spilling his seed all over your face. It lands on your cheeks, your lips and your chin, marking you as his. You moan, tongue darting out to clean yourself up.
Your hand, in real life, sneaked between your legs to bring some relief to your throbbing clit.
That did it. Loki jumped up from your chair so ferociously he knocked it to the ground with a loud bang and strutted over to you fast and determined. The look on his face was all but dark and promising. You opened your mouth to protest, albeit half-heartedly, when he had already lifted you up without any effort whatsoever.
He held you tightly against his side, your body hanging from his arm like a fish on a hook. You only realised your bare backside was quite within his reach and presented to him vulnerably when he landed the first slap, sending a stinging sensation through your skin.
“Ow!” Fuck… so much for spanking. You gulped, biting your lower lip to suppress a moan. “Fuck, Loki!”
“Is this what you wanted, my little pet? To be punished for teasing me like that?” Another slap, landing on the other cheek. This time you couldn’t hold back your moan. Loki was holding back his strength and yet, your arse already felt like your bottom had caught fire. It was burning, tingling and tickling all at the same time. You could practically imagine your skin turning all red from the harsh impact.
“So naughty…” Loki kept spanking you thoroughly but your bottom wasn’t the only thing heating up. You were dripping wet, leaking down your thighs by the time he pulled you up even higher to examine your wet pussy. The sweet pain mixed with the promise of relief almost made you scream.
“Loki, fuck… please!”
“Please what, my dear? My… you are positively soaking. You enjoy it, do you not? You enjoy taking a good thrashing for me?” An animalistic growl escaped his lips.
“P-please… I need you inside me.”
You were unable to see it from your current position but Loki was as hard as a rock. His erection, painfully confined in his leather trousers, was throbbing with need for your tight quim. He was not going to be gentle with you tonight.
Fiercely, he put you on your feet again so fast you felt dizzy, pressed you against the cold wall and held your legs up so you had to wrap it around his hips to not fall straight to the floor. You dug your fingernails into his shoulders when his seidr took care of freeing his member so he could bury himself inside you to the hilt, taking no time for a tender intrusion. You deserved a hard fucking now, if anything for torturing him like that.
Loki’s mouth came crashing down on yours, not leaving you any opportunity to complain—not that you wanted to. Quite on the contrary… arching your back, you took his rough and fast thrusts knocking all air from your lungs, your legs desperately wrapping around him. He would not let you fall and get hurt, you knew that despite his frenzy and yet, this primal and downright animalistic side of him had your entire body melt. You were trembling—arousal and lust rushing through you like a drug. Breaking the kiss and throwing your head back, you came for him, fast and hard.
Clenching around his cock repeatedly, Loki fucked you through your orgasm until your eyes rolled to the back of your head as wave after wave of pure pleasure cursed through your veins, making your blood boil underneath your skin. You screamed his name when he sank his teeth into your neck and bit you as gently as he could muster the moment he could no longer hold back, your climax triggering his own. With but a few more powerful and eager thrusts, he began to twitch and jerk against your still contracting walls and emptied himself inside you, filling you up with his warm seed until it dribbled down your inner thighs. Panting, your head dropped against his shoulder. You were putty in his arms, helpless like a fawn.
“Loki…”
He smiled weakly, still bedazzled by his high. Deeply sated, he took a deep breath and cradled you in his arms, carrying you off to the bedroom. His mission was now forgotten—what was it he had been pondering over again? For the moment, all he could think about was the beautiful woman in his arms, his slowly softening length still resting deep inside of your warm quim.
Are you okay? He was too exhausted for words—and so were you.
I am, you replied in your mind, sighing contently. I’ve missed you.
Loki hummed. I’ve missed you too.

Topper had never been as tough as he’d made out to be. His interior was soft and his heart was easily broken that’s why after Sarah he vowed to himself he’d never fall in love again. So when he found himself falling for his best friend he unconsciously started distancing himself. Making excuses as to why he couldn’t hang out, letting texts go unanswered for days. He hadn’t meant to do it, but his mind was so scared of going through the pain again it decided the best option was to block everything out. That meant you’d suddenly gone from seeing him everyday, to clinging onto his arm as you walked and falling into each other due to laughter to not hearing from him for days on end. To watching him make an excuse and leave whenever you would show up.
At first you didn’t think much of it. Maybe he really did have a family dinner to go to or plans with Kelce he had forgotten about until now. But after a couple of weeks you started to believe that he wasn’t just forgetting important events and that he was in fact avoiding you. And you couldn’t figure out why. Had you done something or said something to make him upset with you? You’d never fallen out with Topper before, sharing your fair few tiffs with Rafe and Kelce over the years, Topper was always the one that stuck around no matter what. So why was he now avoiding you like you were some deadly disease.
You make your way through Rafes house and out to his garden where you knew your friends would be. Kelce was swimming laps in the pool, Rafe was talking animatedly into his phone and Topper was lounging on a sun bed watching them both. He looked over and caught your eyes, offering what seemed to be a half hearted smile in your direction.
You stroll over to him, determined to talk to him and get things back to normal. You missed your best friend. But as you get closer you notice him glance down at his watch and sit up, worry seeping through your body at his actions.
“Hey, Top.” You offer him a small wave and a nervous smile.
“Uh hey,” he replies as he stands up from his sun bed, “Sorry I actually have to go. Promised my mum I’d help with some things around the house.”
“Oh…” you watch him fumble around grabbing his things before he disappears into the house without a second glance. You knew he was lying, he never helped around the house and his mother would never ask him to. You avert your eyes over to Kelce who had stopped his swimming and was resting his arms against the side of the pool watching the interaction. The boy simply shrugs when your eyes meet his and he pushes back off the wall again.
You sigh and plop down onto the bed Topper had just vacated. You already wanted to slink off back home, Toppers quick departure and cold greeting enough to ruin any hopes you had of having fun today.
You’d asked Rafe and Kelce that day if they had noticed anything different, Rafe said no, though you were sure this was more because he couldn’t be bothered to get involved. But Kelce had noticed his friends' quick disappearances and feeble excuses for the past few weeks to why he couldn’t attend events he’d usually be all over. But he had no ideas as to why so you continued to be left in the dark.
After that day you couldn’t help but fall into a sulk. A frown prominent on your face every second you were around your friends. You didn’t mean to take it out on them but you couldn’t help it. Being around them made you think of Topper and thinking of your friend ignoring you caused your heart to drop and shatter.
It had been a little over a month since you’d even seen Topper now and you were moping more than ever.
“For gods sake y/n, would it kill you to smile a little?” Rafe groans as you sink into his couch with a face like thunder.
You shoot the boy a glare, “It might actually.” You huff.
“I can’t take this anymore, either you say something to him or I fucking will.” Rafe states matching your glare.
“You don’t think I’ve tried? He’s ignoring me Rafe, I can’t talk to someone who doesn’t want to know me.” You sigh out.
So Rafe decides to intervene, coming up with a simple plan to get you and Topper alone together so you could talk through whatever the hell was going on with him. He pushes you up the stairs and into the study, his phone perched between his ear and shoulder as Topper talks on the other end of it.
“He’s on his way, stay here.” Rafe instructs you, pulling the door halfway closed as he disappears back downstairs.
So you wait, pacing up and down the study, your lower lip being assaulted by your teeth. You’d never been nervous to see Topper before but now your hands were shaking and you couldn’t stop your heart beating out of your chest. It felt like you had been stuck in this study fretting over the inevitable meeting for the whole day but you knew it couldn’t have been more than half an hour.
Once you heard two voices getting closer you stopped pacing, turning to face the door. Soon enough Topper was stumbling through the door before it was slammed shut, the sound of the key turning in the lock. Topper hadn’t even noticed you, instead he banged on the door calling for Rafe to stop messing around and let him out. You cleared your throat and Topper's hand stopped on its way to the door again, he slowly turned and when his eyes met yours the colour seemed to drain from his face at the sight of you and your heart sank. You just couldn’t understand why he hated you so much all of a sudden.
“Can we talk?” You ask quietly.
“Rafe never said you’d be here.” Topper replies, clearing his throat awkwardly.
“I know. You wouldn’t have come if you’d known.” You state, you let out a sigh and turn to lean back against the desk, your fingers playing with the hem of your shirt as you looked down.
Topper stayed quiet, he didn’t even try to pretend he hadn’t been avoiding you which only served to hurt you more. You chewed on your lower lip, you’d rehearsed a whole speech in your head but now he was here you had forgotten all of your words.
“Why are you avoiding me?” You finally ask, lifting your eyes from your feet to look over at him again but his eyes aren’t on you, “Did I do something wrong?”
His head snaps round at that, eyes swimming with what looked like anger, “You didn’t do anything wrong,” Topper tells you adamantly, “Don’t think that.”
“Well what else am I supposed to think?” You ask your voice raising a little, “You haven’t spoken to me in over a month! How am I not supposed to think I’ve done something wrong?”
Topper let’s out a groan and runs his fingers through his hair, the frown constantly prominent on his face, “Look, it’s my problem, okay? You didn’t do anything.” He almost tells you, he almost spills out his feelings for you with the hope that you feel the same but before he has the chance to, you speak again and he knows he can’t tell you.
“You’re my best friend Topper! Please don’t shut me out.” You beg him.
Topper's frown is replaced by a look of sadness which he quickly recovers himself from, he shakes his head and turns to bang on the door again.
“Rafe, I know you’re listening asshole, let me out.” He kicks at the door and you lean back against the desk, willing the tears not to fall.
The door unlocks, an annoyed looking Rafe appearing behind it, “My dad will fucking kill me if you damage this door.” He frowns pushing past Topper to look down at where the boy had been kicking.
Topper takes that as his opportunity to slip out of the room and disappear down the hallway. You let the tears slip past your eyes now he’s gone, ignoring Rafe mumbling to himself about the door while you let yourself break down.
Once Rafe realises you’re crying he hurries over, his hands coming to rest on your shoulders a concerned look plastered across his face.
“He’ll come around, y/n.” He tries to reassure you but you just shake your head. You didn’t think he’d come round, you’d lost him forever and you had no idea why.
“He won’t, Rafe.” You sob out, “He hates me and he won’t even tell me what I’ve done wrong so I can fix it!”
You sob into Rafes chest, your body shaking with your cries as Rafe holds you silently. Rafe had never seen you upset before, he wasn’t very good with sympathy so whenever you were upset you would go to Topper. So Rafe held you awkwardly, trying his best to soothe you and tell you everything would be okay, but no matter what he said you couldn’t stop crying. No matter how many times he repeated that it would be okay and things would work out you just couldn’t believe him.
The next couple of weeks you spent mostly by yourself. You tried your best to get over your heart break by doing things to take your mind off Topper. You baked cookies - which were awful but still, you had tried - and you took care of yourself. You took long baths, read novels, plastered on face masks and hair masks, painted your nails. And it all made you feel good and a little less heart broken.
So when Rafe called inviting you to a party you didn’t even think twice about agreeing. Topper only entering your thoughts after you had hung up the phone. It was a waste of time wondering if he would be in attendance, of course he would be. But as confused and upset as you still were at him, you felt you could face him without breaking down when he inevitably ignores you.
You dressed up in your best dress, spending more time on your hair and make up than you usually would, wanting to take pride in your appearance. You hoped feeling confident in your exterior would make you feel stronger on the inside.
You arrived to Rafes house two hours after the party had started, your usual time of arrival. There was nothing worse than being at the start of the party while everyone was still awkward and sober. You entered the house, heading straight towards the kitchen to get a drink, you also knew that was the most likely place you’d find Rafe and Kelce.
You were right of course, Rafe was leant back against the kitchen island, Topper and Kelce in front of him chugging beers while the group around them cheered them on.
“Not missing the fun am I?” You ask as you appear beside Rafe.
“I was beginning to forget what you looked like.” Rafe joked pulling you into a one armed hug before quickly mixing you a too strong drink.
“Hi.” You smile over to the two boys who had finished downing their drinks. Kelce returns your greeting, Topper offering you the slightest of smiles before turning and placing his empty bottle on the counter beside you.
Topper ignoring you still hurt like hell but you were determined not to let him see it. If he was okay with not talking to you anymore you were going to pretend you were perfectly fine without him as well.
Drunk you however was not so confident she was okay without Topper. After four beers, two overly strong drinks from Rafe and three shots instigated by Kelce you were more than a little drunk and you were on a warpath to find your blonde friend - or ex-friend, you weren’t entirely sure which fitted best.
“You!” You slur out when you find him on the landing upstairs, you push against his chest causing yourself to stumble much more than the boy in front of you, “Why do you hate me?”
Topper frowns, grabbing at your hands and trying to steady you. He looks around the hallway nervously as you shout at him, quickly pulling you into Rafes room for privacy.
“Y/N, I think you should try and sleep.” Topper instructs you trying to lead you towards your friend's bed.
You shake your head and push him off of you, “No! I refuse to leave without answers. Why do you hate me? What did I do to you? Why can’t you just tell me instead of avoiding me, you’re killing me here Top!” You feel tears prick at your eyes and if you were sober you might have been able to subside them but now they were streaming down your face.
Topper sighs, he wants nothing more than to reach out and pull you into a hug. To comfort you, to hold you and promise none of this was your fault and that he loved you more than anything. But wanting to do that was what caused this problem in the first place.
You could see the hesitation on his face and you cross your arms, stomping your foot slightly like a child throwing a tantrum.
“Tell me Topper. I deserve to know.” You demand and Topper let’s out another sigh because he knows you’re right. He’s been distant and rude and you deserve more than that, so with his heart beating at a ridiculously fast pace he tells you the truth.
“You didn’t do anything,” he begins, quickly shutting you up with a wave of his hand when you start to talk over him. “You didn’t do anything.” He repeats himself, “I meant what I said when I said it was my problem. I was scared so I distanced myself from you.”
“Why were you scared?” You ask quietly when Toppers pause was too long for your liking.
“Because I didn’t want my heart to break again.” Topper lets out a slightly shaky breath, he suddenly seemed a lot more sober than you were, “I didn’t mean to, but I fell for you y/n. I fell hard and I didn’t want to ruin our friendship and I didn’t want to be rejected. I wanted the feelings to go away and I thought if I avoided you I might get over it.”
You find it hard to process what he’s saying in your drunken state, your brows furrowed as you tilt your head studying him.
“Topper I-“ you cut yourself off with another frown, your head shaking slightly, “I don’t know-“
“It’s fine.” Topper cuts in, his stance suddenly nervous, “I get it, you don’t feel the same. I shouldn’t have said anything… I - you should get some sleep.” He quickly turns and hurries from the room without a second glance.
You sit on the edge of the bed and lay back, eyes staring up at the ceiling as you try your best to work out what Topper had told you. He fell for you, but what is that supposed to mean? Was he in love with you? Were you in love with him? You had no idea how you felt, Toppers words were swirling round in your head and making you feel sick. You felt dizzy and confused and were thankful that the alcohol worked quickly to knock you out.
The next morning you wake with covers wrapped around you. Your head hurt but not as much as you imagined it would. You wished you had woken up blissfully unaware of last nights events, either from the excessive alcohol consumption of just from a fuzzy hangover. But you awoke remembering the events perfectly and the sick feeling quickly returned.
You turn onto your side, eyes peering down at your friend on the floor who was eyeing you with a smirk, “Morning, you look a mess.”
“Thanks Rafe.” You roll your eyes and pull the covers up to your chin, “One, never let me drink that much again and two, never leave me unattended when you inevitably fail number one.”
Rafe laughs and rolls onto his side leaning up on his elbow, “I refuse to take responsibility for your messiness, Kelce got the shots out.” He defends himself.
You let out a groan and drop your head down onto his pillows, “Something worse than the shots happened.” You admit quietly.
“Something worse than Kelce pouring double whiskey shots and forcing everyone to drink them? Must be pretty bad.” Rafe comments.
You bury your face into the pillows, “I found Topper,” you mumble out, “I confronted him and he told me he loved me and I didn’t fucking say anything.”
You weren’t sure if Rafe would understand your muffled confession but he did, you lift your head when he doesn’t reply only to find him staring up at you.
“Explains why he’s been avoiding you.” He says simply with a shrug.
You shoot him an incredulous look, “Is that all you can say?” You ask, voice a little high pitched in disbelief
“What?” Rafe asks defensively, “Do you want me to say you’re an idiot for not saying it back? Because you are.”
Your brows furry and you sit up fully, your head spinning from the sudden movement, “But I don’t know if I feel the same way.” You admit, “He’s my best friend…”
Rafe sighs and copies your movements, sitting up on his makeshift bed on the floor, “Do you want me to listen or do you want advice?” He asks.
You consider for a moment, it would be nice to sound out your thoughts with someone, but you knew Rafe well and despite the awful decisions he makes for himself he is good at giving advice. Rafe notices things other people don’t, he’s good at watching people and reading thoughts and he’d hate to hear you say it but sometimes he was like the mother of the group. Always sorting everyone’s problems while ignoring his own, so you ask for his advice.
“You’re in love with him.” He says simply.
You look down at him, waiting a beat for him to continue but shoot him a glare when he doesn’t, “Is that it? Your great wisdom?” You scoff.
Rafe rolls his eyes, bringing his knees up slightly and wrapping his arms around them, “You’ve been in love with him for a while. I can tell.”
“Rafe you aren’t helping.” You let out a groan.
“Think about it y/n! I’m your best friend too, right?” You nod so he continues, “You wouldn’t act the same if I started avoiding you. You wouldn’t sulk and cry, you’d come up to me and call me all the names under the sun and probably hit me. But you cried, because it hurt more because it’s Topper. You aren’t happy when he’s not around, Topper makes you happy. He always has. You love him, you're just too scared to see it, like he has been.”
You study Rafe for a moment considering what he’s said, was he right? Have you loved Topper all this time and just been too stubborn or blind (or likely both) to notice? You think back to your times with Topper, a slight smile on your face at the memories. Topper was the one you always sort out for cuddles. He was the one who’s hoodies you stole when it got cold, who’s house you slept over at the most. Topper was your rock and you had been lost without him. He made you comfortable, made you feel safe and secure. The swell of your heart when he’s around has nothing to do with the fact that he’s been your best friend for so long but has everything to do with the fact that you’re in love with him. Crazily, stupidly in love with him, and it took Rafe of all people to make you see it.
You slowly nod your head, “You’re right, Rafe. I’m in love with Topper.” You declare, a smile forming on your lips as you spoke.
“I’m always right you should know this by now.” Rafe rolls his eyes, “Now go tell him and leave me to sleep off this headache.” He lays back down and rolls over while you jump out of the bed.
You don’t care that you’re in your dress from the night before. You don’t care that your hair resembles a bird's nest and your make up is probably a mess. You don’t care about any of it, all you care about is telling Topper how you feel, and hoping your silence the night before hadn’t ruined everything.
You walk to Toppers, your feet sore from wearing your heels the night before so you walk barefoot, your shoes clutched in your hand as you stride determinedly towards the Thornton residence. You don’t think twice about knocking on the door until after your fourth pound, lip between your teeth as you imagine his mother’s face seeing you stood a mess on her doorstep. Prim and proper Mrs Thornton would not be too pleased with the sight, but luckily for you it was Topper who answered the door. Sleep is still evident in his eyes and messy hair when he appears in front of you.
“Y/N?” He asks rubbing sleep from his eyes, “What are you doing here? Do you know what time it is?”
“No,” you shake your head, “Can i come in? I really need to talk to you.”
Topper sighs, leaning tiredly against his front door, “If this is about last night please just forget it.”
“I don’t want to forget it.” You protest.
“Please y/n. I’m too hungover for this,” he groans, you open your mouth to speak but he cuts you off, “Okay you want to talk about it? I’m sorry okay. I’m sorry I fell for you and I’m sorry I avoided you and I’m sorry I brought it up last night and ruined everything even more,” he rambles out, speaking a little louder each time you open your mouth to speak, “I’m an idiot, and you don’t feel the same, it’s fine.”
“Topper-“
“I mean it’s not fine, far from fine actually. But I’ll get over it. I just hope you don’t hate me forever because of it.”
“Top-“
“Can you just forget I ever said anything? I’ll stop avoiding you and I’ll try and just forget everything.”
“Topper!” You shout finally getting him to stop his ramblings and look at you wide eyed.
You stand in silence for a couple of seconds, you trying to sort out in your head what you should say, Topper looking at you desperately. But words fail you so instead you rush forward, grabbing Toppers face in your hands and pressing your lips against his. Topper's shock is soon replaced by confusion and then relief as he kisses you back, melting into your touch.
Kissing Topper felt like no matter what everything would be okay. It was like coming home after a weekend trip and feeling at home again. The sound of the morning chirping of birds disappeared as you got lost in him. You were the only two people in the world, right now in this moment nothing else mattered except from you and Topper.
“Y/N,” Topper begins when you finally pull away but you shush him.
“I love you. I think I always have. And I think we’re both idiots for taking so long to realise this.” You whisper, lips still hovering in front of his.
Topper's heart soars and he’s sure he’s never felt so full of love before in his life. It was like his body was on fire with the feeling and he never wanted to feel anything else again.
He leans down, kissing you again quickly before picking you up. You laugh softly and wrap your legs around his waist.
“Let’s go sleep these hangovers off, then you can tell me again how much you love me.” Topper smirks, kicking the front door shut behind him before carrying you up to his room.
“I love you. I love you. I love you.” You smile kissing over his face as he lays you down on his bed, “Never stop speaking to me for that long again, my heart can’t take it.”
Topper leans down, soft lips against your cheek and jaw, “I will never leave your side again.” He promises, lips finally finding yours in a slow lingering kiss before he finally falls onto the bed beside you and pulls you against his chest.
“I love you.” He mumbles against your hair, pressing a gentle kiss to your head. His soft breathing lulling you into a peaceful sleep, full of happy pictures of your further with Topper forever by your side.

Tumblr media
A kaleidoscope. A kaleidoscope was the first thing that broke through the darkness in various shades of pink, white, and grey. The images were blurry and the colours vibrant as it spun through the darkness, soon enough becoming the only thing occupying what once was a sea of darkness. The once silence that wrapped itself around like a tight hug gave way to the sound of stream water, sounds of nature and spring slightly blooming in her ear drums. What once was nothing was blooming and alive.
A warm feeling settled over her chest and in a harsh move she opened her eyes, raising her chest and gasping up for air. The first sight was bloom, the perfect utopia of what spring sounded like in every song and every fairytale with various different flowers and tones of various colours. She looked down at her hands, noticing how warm they were, almost too warm and as she was about to snap her head back, petals started falling onto her palms.
She should be scared, but she somehow wasn’t and as if it had been a taught movement, her hands moved up to her hair, feeling more white petals falling on her palms and legs. Y/N looked around, not understanding where she was standing or where she was for that matter. She was surrounded by a blooming environment, blooming so slowly yet so fast she could see the flower buttons open.
Slowly but surely her senses started to recover to her, noticing the cold marbled stone she was sat on and the warm sun hit her skin. Bucky. Was Bucky alright? Where was Bucky? Her mind couldn’t wrap itself around her last memory of Bucky’s terrified face. Was he okay? Where was he? She was removed of her line of thinking by a shattering sound. Y/N immediately turned her head towards the sound seeing Hecate mouth wide open as if she had seen something fantastic.
     - Where’s Bucky? - her voice came rather raspy but the goddess of witchcraft was still standing there wondering if Gaia was playing tricks on her. Dead mortals don’t come back to life. Dear gods, dead mortals who gain the hatred of half the pantheon don’t come back to to life as part of the pantheon itself. - Where’s Bucky?!
She questioned again, turning around and placing her bare feet on the grass patch yet unlike normal, the grass did not turn dark green, instead blooming from her steps as if she herself controlled nature. Hecate stopped her by putting herself in front of Y/N. She knew better not to annoy a newly born goddess specially because she didn’t seem to know what she was and therefore had little to no grip with what she could do.
    - I’ll get someone to get him, you need to sit down. - she motioned for Y/N to sit down as carefully as someone handling a bomb. Hecate quickly send a equally confused nymph to go grab the incredibly depressed god of the Underworld.
Y/N sat down against the bark of a cherry blossom, looking at Hecate who had a very confused yet careful look in her eyes. The goddess of witchcraft sat next to Y/N as more petals started to fall on her hands. She had forgotten how it was to be next to a very nervous goddess of spring.
    - Where are these coming from? - Y/N threw the bunch of petals onto the ground, noticing they kept falling onto her hands.
    - They’re coming from you. You need to stop stressing or they’ll keep showing up. No harsh emotions, just breathe.
    - Why are you talking to me as if I were going into labor? - more petals fell off making her huff, throwing another bunch on the ground. - What’s going on?
    - In the easiest ways of putting it in ... I would say you’re ... well, the goddess of Spring. - she pointed out at the once dead grooves which were now blooming like the rest of the Elysium. Damn, it was better than the rest of the Elysium with his beautiful tall blossom and fruit trees with a substantial amount of flower bushes and other grass weeds.
   - The goddess of Spring no longer exists, Bucky told me so. - she replied, very overprotective over the answer she had gotten from her beloved. Like an expression of her huffing, more flower petals fell over on top of her hands.
   - Goddesses doesn’t cease to exist, specially a goddess responsible for a whole season. They are ... chosen if they cease to exist. The titans seem to have chosen ... well ... I guess you.
   - That is not funny. - she got up from her sitting position, once again smoothing over the petals that had stuck to the fabric of her gown. Hecate surely was not her biggest fan but she knew what she was and she definitely was not a goddess. At least she didn’t felt like one. How did goddesses even feel? Did they fell any different from mortals? She was about to question Hecate about that fact when two nymphs entered the grooves pulling a very unwilling God of the Underworld with them.
Y/N turned to face him, the first thing calling her attention was the stubble turned beard and the dark bags under his now very wide awake blue eyes almost as if he wasn’t expecting her to be there. Y/N rushed over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck, burying her nose in the space between his neck and neck. Bucky stood still wondering if he was dreaming again or if he had finally managed to overdose himself with ambrosia but no, she was there, she was there with her arms wrapped around him and flowers blooming from the top of her head and dropping onto him. His eyes settled on Hecate who had the same surprised eyes yet slightly less than him.
Y/N pushed back, noticing something wrong in Bucky’s aura but he was still staring at her. He caressed her jaw with his knuckles, thumb caressing the soft part of her cheek. Noticing its warmth and her soft smile he didn’t know if he wanted to raise her up or kiss her. He settled on kissing her, noticing the newly added honey like taste to her lips and more flowers falling onto their hands.
   - I’m not sure if I adore this. - she caressed his beard, making him chuckle as he kissed her again. - Stop, when was the last time you slept?
   - Long enough, this might be some hallucination of you.
   - No, I’m here.
>>>>>
The Underworld was a mess and that was something that came rather lightly from Y/N’s point of view as it normally used to be constantly messy full of dead souls and unruly nymphs. However, today, it seemed like everything had broke loose and every single god, goddess, demigods, oracles and every single thing that could be considered mythical and gone down to the underworld for her coronation. Was she happy about it? No. Was James happy about it? Also no. They’d rather be in their secluded little spot of the underworld without anyone around. However, protocol demanded the new goddess of Spring to have a public coronation if she became Queen of the Underworld. Besides, Y/N was a bit way too cheerful to see those who had wanted that spot see her gain the crown to the Underworld.
      - I’m going to catch you, sunflower. - Bucky chuckled lowly as he briefly saw the grass she had stepped on bloom with white roses. He heard her giggling in the distance and then it stopped, rendering him alone and somewhat lost and because he wasn’t used to the newly found sunlight, the fresh air and fauna that surrounded him in the Groves, he asked for help from one of the nymphs who were taking care of the flora.
An annoyed nymph turned to be face to face with her King, pointed towards a direction. He was aware that this was supposed to be a fair game, something fun that his beloved had come up with in the moment bored of coronation preparations, but he would rather be done with it quickly so that they could enjoy each other’s companies and bring her back to a very pissed and very stressed Hecate.
He walked and walked, listening always for the river that the undead and nymphs had spoken up and asking ever so often for directions for other servants. They would whisper a “Over there” and point or a “Go North”, and Bucky would believe their words because they had been nothing but loyal to him. In fact, much more loyal to them than others had ever been to him - he found that, in the afterlife, people - or what was left of them - were much calmer and kinder than those who were still alive.
Soon enough, he found his beautiful Y/N humming by the river. Her delicate feet were dangling and lightly touching the water that ran on the stream and her eyes were shut, head moving to the rhythm of the chirping birds and a small smile played on her lips. Quietly, he inched closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her to him and burying his face in her hair; it smelled of everything good about spring, from freshness to wild flowers and ripe fruit.
She giggled and kicked her legs up in the air, clearly enjoying the attention she was receiving but also no liking that her little game had come to an end which meant she had to return to the very much annoying job of preparing for the ceremony.
     - Seems like I found you. - the God of the Underworld grinned against her hair, setting her on the ground but holding onto her hips, admiring her figure; her newly found position led to her being constantly adorned with luxurious fabrics, veils with beautiful patterns and so many jewels, mostly gifts from Demeter from all people, but somehow it was when she wore something as simple as a white dress enveloping her form and golden sandals that he found her the most mesmerising. The simplicity and purity that he had fallen so hard for that he moved heaven and earth to have, regardless of what everyone else said, regardless of how lowly they found Gaia to have named a mortal Goddess of Spring. She was always a goddess in his eyes but the actual title did suit her better than anyone else. - Did you have fun escaping your responsibilities?
    - Would have been funner if you didn’t cheat, Bucky. - she raised her eyebrows at the man and crossed her arms, knowing fully well he had. How else would he know his way through the newly found Groves if he barely entered them. Sighing, she kissed his lips lightly and then grabbed his hand to take him to the nearest shade. - I’m sure Hecate sent you after me.
     - Yes, she says you’re being quite impossible but personally, I was hoping we could have some personal fun. - he smirked, pressing a kiss to the shell of her ear, then to her neck and collarbone, making her shiver and push him to the side lightly. - Such a harsh no.
     - I don’t need my nymphs to see that. - she blushed and fidgeted with her hands and wedding ring, sitting down and resting her back against the bark of a tree. The God of the Underworld chuckled and sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her waist. - But I can be swayed if you cancel the whole ordeal.
     - You know I can’t. - he kissed her shoulder. - They’re already very upset over your decision of giving the souls of the Elysium their memories.
     - They are much more happy and you can’t deny it. - she pointed out. Y/N had technically been a ruling consort ever since she got wedded to Bucky in a very small ceremony where no one but them were included. As such, Y/N had put forward a motion to give the Elysium’s residents their mortal memories back, something that of course had been passed as she was fiercely backed by Demeter who could put the fear in any god by just looking at them. It had made the residents much happier and Bucky much happier considering he could now speak to his friends, family, and most importantly Steve. She on the other hand had managed to reunite with her parents and introduce them to Bucky which managed to be their version of normality. This had however created a stir with Zeus who was still very much upset a mortal was now a goddess he could no longer order around. - This is ridiculous, why do they need to see it?
     - It’ll just be for a few hours. Besides, I wanna see you become my Queen.
     - Okay. - she shrugged. - Only because I love you.
     - I know. - he smiled, lovingly. - I just hope you don’t change your mind, we’re sort of in this forever.
     - What does Steve say? Til the end of the line?
    - Til the end of the line, sunflower.
