ok so i have this au where Erik and Charles join the Resistance War against France and America (more wellknown as the Vietnam War 🙄). i had to stop building it bc of my last school year. i still havent fully figured out which side would i wanna put each of them in but my brief idea is from when Erik escapes the death camp and then sneaks on French boat, by that he travels to the land of another war. its a plot hole because i pushed his age a bit older than he was in the comic and movie when he escaped the Holocaust, which is around 17-19 yo (also im using Cherik age gap in the movies, by that Charles will be 15-17). they were students protesting again the war, but sneaky Erik has to go underground so that he wont be captured by the German/French soldiers (then the August Revolution happens, the death of Nazi and by then he becomes a spy sort like that). i just love to watch movies and read stories, poems about the blooming flower of love during the horrendous destruction, so that au is a romance about two closeted students in the war (not me making way to make a cameo of the closeted gay poet Xuân Diệu lmao). anyway im thinking about making Charles a poet too. because again this Brad Martin guy shows up on my youtube recommendation lmao
