Hork-Bajir are incredibly dangerous and very powerful. They stand on two legs, balanced

by a tail. Each leg ends in a foot, like an Earth bird of prey. They have two arms. There are curved blades at their knees, at their elbows, at their wrists. Blades similar to my own tail-

blade. Atop their snakelike heads are two more blades, swept forward. And their tails end in long, sharp spikes.

They are not a species you want to start a fight with. Which may be why they were such a

peaceful, even poetic, species. They had no one to fear. Until the Yeerks began to make

them into Controllers.

The Veleek was not one creature. It was billions! It was a swarm of billions of these tiny

creatures. They had evolved into a swarm that could come together and become a

destructive entity of gnashing teeth and slicing blades. But in reality they were separate

insectlike creatures that fed on energy.

As an abuse victim, I have a hard time tolerating Rumbelle lately. It's incredibly toxic and triggering. Rumple had a great redemption arc before A&E decided to retcon his character development. They needed a mischievous, toxic, dark greyish character, but they were so in love with Colin, that they decided Killy is the good hearted, redeemable, love interest their show needs. This is such a bullshit.

I’m sorry you’ve been in the end of abuse. *offers you a hug* I hope you do have a better life now. I can relate with abuse because I’ve lived that too with my own parents and one past relationship, though I must say don’t feel triggered by RumBelle because, as there are many complexities to their relationship, I don’t really see Rumple actively hurting/manipulating Belle to “keep her on his leash,” not the way C$ presents abuse.

Belle has never been submissive; we’ve seen her push back and make her own choices, and proof of that is how she’s been on her own for longer than she’s been with him; she comes when things feel right, but also leaves the moment it doesn’t go as she believes it should— unlike we see with Emma and H00k: Emma endures all his crap and never really puts limits. Still, I insist *I* don’t see Rumple as an abuser; I see him as an abuse victim whose insecurities make him push people away and make him a “difficult man to love” because of them. And he’s also misguided by all the darkness that has surrounded him for hundreds of years, so he’s sort of “wired” for not the best or more “morally rightful” decisions, but like he said: everything he does is always to protect his family.

As of now, do we see him pressuring Belle into coming back with him? No. He doesn’t push her at all; he’s giving her space. It’s actually Belle who approaches him. Does he want to force his son to love him? No. We did see he entertained the idea of cutting Gideon from his fate with the shears, like Fiona did with him- as we just learned -but he chose NOT to do that. Rumple is letting his son and his wife come on their own terms, IF they do come at all. His only life purpose is to protect them from harm. How he does it, well, sometimes it is questionable but really I dont see many of his actions as horrible. The most deceitful in my eyes, and for which I hated the writers beyond words, was to see him lie about the dagger. However, I actually see Emma make far worse choices, endangering not only her family but the whole town, and yet she’s still called a Savior and cheered for it, for “fighting for her love” - being selfish actually? The fuck?!

So, Rumple hasn’t been able to let go of power because he believes without it he won’t be able to protect his family, not because he loves it OVER his family. I don’t know, but if I had a past like his I would act pretty much the same way. I just see how his fear of his family getting hurt is what drives him towards taking morally ambiguous choices. He was cut off from having light magic, so that is also a big motor that keeps him in the dark path.

I dismiss most of the bullshit they write when it comes to Rumple or Regina when it doesn’t make sense, mainly because it is super obvious they do it to prop up Killy Pooh— like how you mention Rumple’s redemption (as well as Regina’s) in “Going Home,” when they sacrificed so they could give their children AND everyone else their best chance. But only to have it fucked up in the next season as it turned into “Once Upon a Hook.”

I understand not everyone can share my same view; we all have different backgrounds and ways of processing the information we are given. Now, I know RB is problematic, but I also can see more underneath the surface… I hope this can in some way help with how you feel about them, having another point of view… Nothing is just black and white. I’m not intending to invalidate your feelings about them, just sharing my own.

Oh my god, it’s too good to see you again here and if you are new you are most welcome. So you want to know that introversion is a Mental problem or not? If you are seeking this answer that eighter you are an introvert or there is someone who Possesses these kinds of traits. But don’t worry Just read this article about “Is Introversion a Mental problem?” and you are on your way with a Satisfactory answer.

First, I want to tell you that I am an introvert. When I was in 6th standard I feel some kind of shyness but it is not exactly shyness but a difficult scene to interact with humans in my surroundings Even with my friends and with my teachers Who teaches me for at least 12 years. In those 12 years, I was not able to have a good small talk or frank talk with any of my teacher or any of my friends. Actually, if there was a scale to map introversion of a person then form –1 to 10. I am on 7.5 or that’s what I think. In my early age, I find it difficult to be a social machine and then I am started Having stress in my life. Because I have so many questions why I am like this, why I am not like everyone, and then at the age of 17 on my birthday I got a Mobile which is able to surf the Internet and then within 6 months my life changes. When I got a phone I started searching for the symptoms or feeling or moods swings that I have in my daily life and suddenly I got my answer one day. (you are reading-Is Introversion a Mental problem?). “The Introversion” And Now I know how to explain my Shyness. Why I can’t bear so much human interaction, why it is like my mind is talking to me loudly, why I need my own time, why I connect to nature so much, why I always lost in my own thoughts. But now I know everything. But I didn’t stop my research and then I get to know That I am not alone there is at least 25% of the population is like me.

Is Introversion a Mental problem? I am not unique but I am a little different and this is not a curse or a mental problem it is like we are wired like this. Now I accept my introversion and I Make peace with it. But first, I suffer with it for like 17.5 years of my life. Take note of these things that every introvert want to tell you– a). I am quite but I Have so much to tell you. b). I am quiet but I observe and absorb everything. c). I am quiet but I have the loudest mind. d). I am not Angry with anyone. e). I am not rude. f). Yes, I am lonely even with the crowd. g). Yeah, I need some time alone but I don’t hate you. h). No, I don’t hate a good party but I have some limits and I can’t help myself with that. Sorry for that I hope you understand. I). Ya I know sometimes I Won’t answer your phone but it doesn’t mean that I don’t like you or I hate you. J). No, I don’t want to meet new peoples at the party. K). No silence is not awkward for me. l). No I am not anti-social or I am not suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or no I am not Depressed, I am just quiet because I am just busy to think about Tachyons. (Particle which supposes to travel faster than light). M). Yeah, I am fine alone you don’t have to worry it’s just I need some time to process all of my thoughts from that day. N). No, I am no weird I am just wired this way. O). And yes I feel emotions but I can’t show them to you because it makes me feel vulnerable. (Actually, we all are very emotional). These are just 10% things that an introvert want you to understand about them.

Is Introversion a Mental problem? So ya we do not have any mental problems. And we are weird for some people but we kind of like this. (the feeling of talking to your own mind is awesome believe me but sometimes it gets annoying when it gets louder). a tiny amount of oxy and codeine, 2 weeks worth of medicine roughly, plus some 5htp vitamins

I’ve been developing my very own abstract drawing style in that book for over a year.

Nothing valuable was lost. Luckily my camera&lens worth around a grand wasn’t in there

and as ive been home alone today

but I want my sketchbook back

I may have left the bag in a taxi though. Usually I’d walk to the taxi place, then walk back. It’s like 2.5 miles in total which is a good thing for me because I like the walk

my neighbour moved out, which leaves his girlfriend in the apartment next door... if shes even his gf anymore???? i have no idea but theyre both moving apparently

but i barely know her

and i have no key to the front door of my apartment building, long frustrating story lol

lost my keys

i keep going to the same key cutter because i have no cash and they do free fixes when their own keys fuck up

they made one key cut work, my apartments, but the one to the front door doesn’t work

i dont want to ask her to open the front door, i dont want to knock on her door, its just

the word here is awkward but everything is awkward thats not really a reason

im just irrationally anxious. I feel like she doesn’t like me. There’s many reasons for her not to but also reasons for her to.

Either way I don’t want to annoy her

and it would just be awkward if she heard me try to open the door, then its locked and she hears that from her apartment

then she hears me go back up the stairs and not knock on her door

then that leaves us both in an awkward place

do i knock on her door, knowing there’s a 50/50 chance she heard my attempt to leave my own apartment building

then do that shit

or do i go back into my flat, knowing she probably heard me avoid her

she can put two and two together

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

then she may even knock on herself

with her nice smile which is actually pretty welcoming tbh

well tomorrow

im getting more medicine which i ordered since i ran out and lost mine

one that im able to live without for a week no problem, havent had it for a few days

im supposed to get a blood test every month on this medicine but its been 3 months

and if hes gonna try to get cash from me this way then that sucks

like id probably just pay him if he asked considering how much hes forked out

i dont even wanna get into benzos, as nice as it is a few hours in,

hi hello

well, ive started my new online school! finally.

i am also typing this on my brand new macbook which i saved up for so it feels good to have something new you know.

i have my surgrey next week. today mum pointed out my weight loss which makes me want to go harder but i need to be healthy according to mum for my surgrey. so i guess thats what i need to do. im still going to only eat dinner everyday and have vitamin c along with my iron pills.

i will have a snack during the day to help the day before my surgrey since im not sure if i can eat meals the day of my surgrey.

my anxiety is getting bad. my depression is getting bad. i had a online therapy and i really just want help but i dont want them to tell my parents because honestly thats the last thing i want. i want to keep my mental health journey to myself as of right now. i dont need to tell my friends everything.

all i want to do is delete every bit of social media, re do my bedroom, start something new, workout everyday, have a good sleep schedule, not procastante every fucking thing i do, maintain a routine, read books and invest in me. its hard. i want to love myself so bad but its always negativity. i feel constantly empty and not motivated to do anything at all. its fucking annoying and i just want to focus on me. i want to have a group of friends where i know i will be included and feel welcomed and have that undenying love for me.

recently my manifestations have been coming true so i guess this means i need to manifest some more things? i guess to add on.

i literally spent alot of money on new clothes but im going to feel so confident once i am able to wear them and actually look at myself and feel secure. im going to work hard for my body. im so exhausted today but tomorrow i want to try the 12, 3, 30 workout on the treadmill and then if i have any extra energy i will do a dance workout. burn the extra calories. feel confident. secure.

i seriously need a hug, not from my parents, siblings or family members. i need a genuine *i am happy to see you and i missed you* hug. like not a quick little 2 second hug i want a good 10 second hug where we appreciate eachother for a moment and just absorb the warmth of another person.

i honestly just need some company. the weeks of quarantine has drawn me away from so many people. idk what im going to do when i get out of quarantine, but hey its a chance idk. i hope we get to stay in level three for another week honestly, it gives me time to heal and be more sure to go out, cause i know im going to be in bed for awhile and i wont be able to go out and about and stuff. i read that im not allowed to wear a underwire bra after my breast reduction so i guess im going to be in bralettes which shouldnt be too bad.

i want genuine friendships like yeah i have friends but sending face photos bac and fourth for days or even weeks maybe even months isnt exactly getting close or anything else in that perspective.

im going to be in bed alot after my surgrey so im def gonna be on bed rest for around a week i think and then i can start going out after around two weeks. i think i need to buy some wire free bras.

i dont think mum and dad can afford my surgery, they told me they could but then mum said theres alot of debt. so awesome making me feel shit for getting something thats been in the works for over a year and a half. apeareatice it.

im really living in the past right now and i honestly just need to move forward with my life. i dont think there will be really any hosts during the week once quarantine is finished because we may go back to school and go back to our normal lives, but yeah i dont know. ill get to see people in the weekend i guess.

i miss having guy friends, like a friendship where we are just friends. nothing more. like all my guy mates are taken and only care about their girlfriends so they push you away until they need something or when she goes to sleep. like come on.

my mind is so over all of this. when coming out of quarantine i want to fully embrace alot about life, i want to take care of myself, work on my mental health and move forward with myself. this is the year where i want to feel mentally stable. i hate opening up to my parents. i fucking hate it.

because they treat me differently the moment i say something which makes me angry.

My car caught on fire due to some electrical wiring, im fully comp, and have never claimed before. But sneaky as they are, they have told me that they do not cover electrical wiring faults, which has caused the fire. But the AA who towed my car in has catergorised it as fire damage. Surely they must cover the fire damage. I took it to a repair centre near me, and have asked them to have a quick check, and they also say its fire damage and what not, this has been procrastinated for so long by the insurance company, (claims company rather) that i can't remember what the repair centre has stated. Surely, fully comp covers something like this? THEIR engineers have said that there was no further damage to the rest of the car, but can i trust THEIR engineers? A full check up costs a lot, as they would have to take apart the car ( i believe? ) When i rang up the lady at the claims centre, she had no idea what case i was on, she literally said 'give me a moment to read up on your case' for me, thats a bit pathetic. While speaking on the phone with her not only was she rude, almost shouting at me (as i pressed on further ) . She told me she would send the company policy booklet to show that electrical wiring is not covered, and a letter stating the case was closed and in detail what the whole case is about. A week and a half has gone by (she said couple of days) This is the most annoying thing. She was rude, unhelpful, unwilling to help, and just taking the pee with the whole thing. I just find it sketchy that the letter has not been made, and no further actions or anything has happened (i have also opened another case about another incident - no info .. still) . Is This Right? (Retinal Detachment/Cataract/Lens/Insur... Question)?

Let me make a very long story short and get right to the questions. I have moved across the United States by myself at the age of 20 with no insurance covered by my parents, nor will they ever if they could. I had a retinal detachment in my left eye. Paid out of pocket for an eye doctor appointment, he freaked out and told me to go straight to the emergency room for emergency surgery since my entire retina was detached. After my surgery, half unconscious too, a social worker got assigned to me because I was under 21 and legally dependent on the state. So the state paid for my surgery. I had a 2nd one too because the first failed. During my 2nd surgery I had cataracts in my eye so they removed the natural lens. And they never replaced the natural lens since they feared the retina may detach again like the first time. But it stay together and I turned 21. So therefore, legally independent by the state. My check up appointment was after my birthday which the front desk of the eye section declared I must pay $80 for every check up visit, which they wanted me to come in every other week. And if I did not pay, I could not go in. Due to my 6 months of surgeries and recover time I had no money, and was not working. I live with my in-laws, and they were taking care of me, but they are certainly not going to pay my medical bills. So here I am now, age 22 and I have been working for about a year. My job does not offer health insurance until you worked for a year, and even then, there is a certain month you can sign up. I have been walking around for over a year without a natural lens, or ANY lens in my left eye. This is in no way like being blind. My doctor had told me that if I got my license and drove, if ever in an accident, I would get in serious trouble because you are not supposed to drive this way. Not that I do, I cannot see correctly so it is wicked dangerous. Having no lens in one eyes messes with your other eye. Hard to explain unless you have literally had this situation before. Sunlight glares into my bad eye, then into my good eye. Same with darkness or bright lights in general. I am actually very blind at night because of this. This is literally ruining my life. I have no money to pay for insurance, or the surgery which can be easily be 10,000 dollars. Is this legal for a county hospital to do? I have never heard of anyone in my situation. Even the thousands of times I have googled and searched. Never heard of anyone in my shoes. What are my rights here? Is there some way I can fight this? Where is my justice? The Stopa Law Firm is a different kind of fantasy football expert league.

It’s a big-money league (thanks to Mark Stopa, benefactor) and it’s a league about jumbo starting spots (super flex — which strongly encourages two starting quarterbacks — two tight ends, another flex spot) and limited bench space. A modified PPR scoring format is used.

And oh yeah, it’s an auction. And it’s a party that goes down in Las Vegas in mid-July. We can’t post all the photos here, someone would get divorced or arrested.

Most “experts” don’t want to admit when the screwed up an auction, but I did on this one. Not so much on the players. I got some decent values (Blount $10, Moncrief $11) and don’t hate my team. However, I wanted to spend at WR and QB, but early in the draft I priced enforced on Zeke Elliott and got “stuck” on him at $48. That’s likely $5 less than he’d typically go for but people were sitting on their hands early in the auction. However, it sent me down a path that I don’t think fared as well for me, similar to how when you take a RB in the first round of an auction.

I’m a WR-first guy. I stubbornly decided to still pay for WR and likely overpaid for T.Y. Hilton and Jordy Nelson, but I decided I wanted some high-floor players since we’re drafting so early and about half your roster is going to be picked up in free agency with this league’s thin benches. Those choices had me chasing for QBs and I never was able to pull the trigger on the $15 – $20 QB I desperately needed. As a result, that left me with Alex Smith as my superflex and Jared Goff as my backup QB. There’s a hint of floor and upside in that duo, but not exactly what I had in mind in a 14-team league.

Mark Stopa

In a deep format like this, everyone will have weak spots.. Given how RBs, WRs, and TEs emerge from nowhere each year, I’d rather be weaker at those positions than QB, and I auctioned accordingly.. There’s simply no chance any QB outside the top 20 is going to be someone you want to use each week, and many owners doing so are wasting a valuable bench spot on a third crummy QB to make up for the crummy one in their superflex.

As for the rest … Rawls and Richard are great ways to fade Lacy and Lynch, two guys I won’t be owning in 2017 seasonal.. I like my cheap Pats guys (Lewis, Hogan, Mitchell) because if injuries strike (Cooks, Edelman), they’ll be gold.. Remember, the earlier in 2017 your draft/auction occurs, the more upside on bench matters, as preseason injuries will happen.. Bills D gets the Jets at home Week 1; picking on NYJ will be an ideal way to stream defenses this year.

I got a starting lineup with the majority of my money and then went $1 for every bench spot. Didn’t draft a kicker or defense. Drank a lot of vodka. I’d recommend this for all.

The story of the draft was that QBs went for too little in this format and WRs went for too much. So I’m thrilled to land Drew Brees ($37) and Brees Jr., Kirk Cousins. The endgame worked for me because I got some really good WR values by my rankings: Britt, Matthews, Thielen, Cobb for a combined 9% of my budget. Britt for $3 thrilled me even though I want to avoid paying for players on teams that are likely to have major QB problems. The thing is, I think Cody Kessler is pretty good — if only I believed the Browns did, too.

I wish I said $53 for David Johnson instead of later having to say $54 for Le’Veon Bell. I have to worry a little about a holdout and Bell is a greater injury risk given their respective histories. My other regret is not saying $4 for Kareem Hunt, who has a David Johnson 2015 vibe.

Scott Jenstad

We came in with a plan for 2 of the top 22 QB (that is where we set our cut off) but not one of the top 3-4, one stud RB and then to play with the depth at WR and attack the mid-range WR after people had spent money on the top WR. I regret $29 total on CJ Anderson and Ameer Abdullah, although I do like Abdullah, but I think we could have bargain shopped for our 3rd RB slot and used that money to upgrade a bit at WR and TE. However, I absolutely love our late bargain WR and I think Coleman, Wallace, Doctson and Ginn for $6 made our depth and is an absurd group for the prices. I worry about 2nd TE in a 2 TE league as we ended up having to go bottom of the barrel there so that is a spot we will need to work on pretty quickly. I regret letting Jeff land Prescott for only $21, I would love to swap out $20 Tyrod Taylor for $21 Dak.

Andy Behrens

We bumped the league size up to 14 teams this year, which is pretty much the outer limit for a two-TE superflex format. The depth of this league led me to balance my spending across positions. I didn’t want to leave the auction with an unfinished team, knowing I had work to do on the wire. Going in, I’d intended to wait on receivers, the position offering the greatest depth; that approach resulted in decent deals on Garcon, Edelman and Decker.

Derek Van Riper

My plan going into the auction was to have one elite QB (Rodgers, Brady, Brees) and one elite RB (Bell, Johnson, or Elliott). It fell though, however, as the pricing at the top exceeded my expectations, and at 14 teams, I was slightly less adamant about sticking to a stars-and-scrubs approach. The value at the top of the pool came with the elite receivers, leading me to build around Julio Jones and A.J. Green instead. The most unexpected trend from the auction that makes my team vulnerable is the high cost of the mid-range and low-end quarterbacks thanks to two additional teams in the league, and our use of the Superflex. My hope, however, is that the likes of Carson Palmer and Joe Flacco can be within a couple points per game of the options who were priced up $10-15 higher, and that my strength at WR, TE, and lack of a hole (initially) at running back gives me good balance from week-to-week.

Brad Evans

When tequila happens, you land Mike Glennon, Sam Bradford and Deshaun Watson as your only QBs. Intended at the onset, I purposely ignored the QB and TE positions and instead focused on acquiring high floor RBs/WRs. Though loaded in the latter areas (RBs: McCoy/Gordon/Powell/Perine; WRs: Alshon/Hopkins/Tyreek), it came at a tremendous cost elsewhere. Inevitably, I’ll spin a RB off at some point for a passing upgrade, but my roster-construction experiment could blow up the lab.

Brandon Funston

Overall, I’m happy with the roster I was able to pull together – no glaring positional weaknesses. Miracle of all miracles, I was able to be a patient shopper and not blow my budget in the early-round inflationary period. But maybe I was a tad too patient, as I had $6 to play with at the end when everyone else was pretty much in $1-draft mode. I ended up using that $6 on Jonathan Stewart, but if I think back on how it could have played out better, it would have probably been to pay $8-9 for a tight end like Hunter Henry or Zach Ertz instead of $4 for Julius Thomas and gone with a $1 DeAndre Washington (I have Marshawn Lynch, so it would have made some sense) in the end at RB instead of J-Stew.

Thank goodness for Grey Goose and Jeremy Maclin. After spending the bulk of my coin on RBs, I needed to snag an undervalued wideout. With over 300 targets up for grabs in Charm City, Maclin is a steal late in drafts… and I got him for just $5!

Dalton Del Don

I entered with a “stars and scrubs” strategy, planning on spending big on quarterbacks and wide receivers. Whether that strategy works (or if I got the right players) remains to be seen, but I certainly executed it. I regret not securing more $1 running back fliers, as I need to get lucky there (my starters are ugly). But this auction took place in mid-July, and RB is by far the most volatile position. I’ll have to be extra aggressive with FAAB at the position.

My thoughts are you need to have a decent QB at the QB flex spot. And one who won’t lose his job unless he gets hurt. If I were to do it over again, I’d probably have bought a third instead of Carlos Hyde and punted RB altogether. I’m fairly sure I could trade a $27 QB for a $30-plus back.

I didn’t intend to go big on TE, but you and I were advancing the bid on Gronkowski, who’s worth $40 in this format, and he stopped at $34. I was actually happy to get him even though I probably won’t have him anywhere else.

I went big on Graham because I had some money left, though he was the best player available (again in the two-TE format) and would rather struggle in the end game than leave $ on the table. It cost me a couple Stefon Diggs types, who I could use, but I’m probably better off with Graham.

Scott Pianowski

I agree with most of Peter Schoenke’s comments, up top. I like to go into auctions with a highly agnostic strategy, but this was a league screaming for more urgency at quarterback. Most fantasy players can take that position casually, given the league-wide depth, but that is not the case in a 14-team league where everyone is highly incentivized to play two QBs a week. I should have either gotten three solid starters, or two high-level guys who could land in the Top 10 with a reasonable runout. If we did this auction again tomorrow, I’m sure a bunch of teams would approach the QB position differently.

It’s never a bad idea to make an early overpayment in an auction if it’s something you really want or really need. I should have parked one major QB early, then seen how the market unfolded. Instead, I stuck to my agnostic leanings and probably paid for it.

I do like the rest of my team, but I’m thin at the one position you can’t be thin at. The trade market probably won’t be much; Brad Evans can tell you that. And it’s hard to imagine a lot of QB talent coming into the league, guys we haven’t already drafted.

Stopa Auction League: Navigating 14 teams, Superflex format

Tom Brady takes on extra value in a two-quarterback league (AP)

The Stopa Law Firm is a different kind of fantasy football expert league.

And oh yeah, it’s an auction. And it’s a party that goes down in Las Vegas in mid-July. We can’t post all the photos here, someone would get divorced or arrested.

The challenge is steeper this year, with noted experts Scott Jenstad and Vlad Sedler jumping in, bringing us to 14 teams. We also welcomed back Michael Salfino after a one-year absence.

I asked the league members to comment about their strategy, the auction, or anything they wanted. Here’s what they had to say. Your full auction results are viewable here.
