i'm scared i just made an appointment for the optician to try contact lenses but in order to do that i need to check my eyesight first and the last time i did was a bit over a year ago if it changed enough i need new glasses i'll probably cry

#idt it changed a LOT bc i can see perfectly well with my glasses but i fear my right eye has worsened slightly and its fucking me up #i hate that my dioptrics arent the same like w/o glasses i can feel my left eye is much stronger so the other feels numb in comparison #and i get a headache from the difference #i dont see double so thats one thing at least but im really scared it could happen bc eyesight isnt stagnant #i dont mind if both eyes get worse over time but please make it both eyes at the same time not only my right eye #thats why im gonna try contact lenses again i tried once like maybe 5 years ago but couldnt get them in even with the opticians help #i got prescribed eye drops by my eye doc and even those i can barely get in they get everywhere around my eye but inside #but i really need it to work i like my glasses and dont care much for wearing them but i only got them at 18 #in my mind im still thinking wearing them is optional even though i feel like bashing my head against the wall and throwing up if i dont
