It’s really fucking late. Apparently it was too late for Ayaka because she was currently being carried by Mizuki
It seems that Saga division has appeared at your doorstep.
“Hey there birthday boy~!” Mizuki grins
“We just got off the train- so we’re a bit late”
“Hi
Big bro
Touya
zzzz” Ayaka is still half asleep
Mizuki gently sets the purple haired girl on the nearest couch before turning her attention back to the group.
“So we bought gifts~” the streamer gestures to the gifts that Megumi held in her hands.
From Ayaka you received- A fuck ton of cute dresses! Lacey and pink ones, baby blue ones, ones with pockets that can hold lots of stuff. There’s even a small box of bows and makeup.
From Mizuki you received- a set of knives. Pocket knives to be exact. All of them stunning and shiny- some had little flowers carved into them and some had more intricate designs.
From Megumi you received- a set of night clothes! Specifically a Wish me Mell themed set of clothes! There’s also a small variety of plushies!
“Happy birthday
T-Touya-nii” Megumi stuttered out before correcting herself “Sorry
Kirasagi-san”
“Mmmm
you called him brother before. Are you embarrassed sis~ I’m not! Cause he’s like a brother” Ayaka gave Touya a sleepy hug as she spoke
Touya cooed as Ayaka hugged him, nuzzling her head as she slept. Touya had always wanted younger siblings, but he never thought that dream would actually come true. Now, he had several people he could call his little brothers and sisters. Oh, if only his younger self could see him now. He would be jumping with joy.
Staring at the gifts Saga had given, Touya could feel his eyes begin to tear up. They were simple gifts, yes, but for someone like Touya? Someone so completely deprived of things like affection and love, it was more than what he ever expected. Maybe he wasn't as worthless and disgusting as Mama always said he was.
"You girls have always been so nice to me despite who I am. Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me."

Request: May I please request some Yandere Shoto Todoroki x reader, where the reader’s quirk is similar to The Scarlet Witch from MCU? (Y/n) was trying her best to stay away from being a hero but she got engaged to Shoto when they were little, Shoto really acts cold towards her but cares for her deeply. (Y/n) was wanted to be free from Shoto’s protectiveness, she doesn’t even want to be a hero at all. She always feels trapped whenever she spends time with him. She always trains alone with her quirk because she hated when Shoto would stare at her when she was in training.
As someone who is used to writing with, they/them pronouns for reader, I will still be using them, because it feels weird -. Warnings: creepy Shoto, angst, Reader is close to turning to the league of Villains, Reader knows Dabi's identity due to their quirk, Dabi actually adores Reader lol, sibling rivalry, I added Dabi because it seemed interesting, angst, Author hates it lol
Y!dark-ish!TodorokiShoto x unwilling!darling!Reader x platonic!Yandere!Dabi
Reader hated being in class 1-A, they hated how many times they were attacked by the League. And they hated how much they agreed with some of the League's views. They hated how their fiancée is pushing them towards that path.
But what made them go down that path faster is the comment about their quirks. "They could destroy the world." was the most frequent one they heard. "If they become a villain we are doomed, should they even be allowed to train their quirk?" They were forced to do hero training to ensure the communities safety.
When Bakugo Katsuki had gotten kidnapped, they had kidnapped Reader as well. Well Bakugo was able to be rescued, Reader wasn't. For matter of fact, they had stayed behind to help All Might. Causing the world to rather be concerned, what storm will they bring?
Todoroki Shoto found this even more concerning, knowing how weak Reader was in their mind. Knowing how Reader heard the screams of unjust spirits in their dreams. So, in one of their forced get togethers Shoto asked; "How is your sleeping going?"
"Well, you can hear my screams at night in the dorms, right? Don't ask stupid questions, Todoroki-san." Reader hissed, rolling their eyes annoyed, focusing on their phone. "I am your future-husband, questions about your wellbeing is not foolish."
"Everything is foolish coming from you." Reader shot back, wanting to punch Shoto so badly. "Just go back to your cold self and fucking ignore me."
The longer the school year went by, the more tense Reader became. When Reader encountered the League of Villains again, they were invited to go with them willingly and just drink together. Which reader accepted.
The Villain Dabi was rather curious about the Todoroki Family asking many questions as Reader was given Cola. Reader's quirk allowed them to manipulate the mind or exactly pinpoint who they are by their aura. "Dear brother-in-law, why don't you go see them yourself?" This caused the league to either choke on their drink or spit it out. "You are quite foolish Touya, my quirk allows me to remember people by just their aura. Only I hadn't felt your aura for so long, it took a bit of time."
"Is Touya your real name? It's so pretty! Right Twice?"
"Hell yeah! FUCK NO EW HE'S RELATED TO ENDEAVOR!" Reader had broken Shigaraki. "Are you alright, Shimura Tenko?"
"HOW THE FUCK?!" Shigaraki didn't know is he wanted them on his team or not. "My quirk, bitch." Reader winked smiling brightly as they grabbed a vodka bottle from the counter, popping it open and was ready to chug it down. Yeah, Dabi grabbed it.
"Aweee, come on!" Reader whined, causing Dabi to roll his eyes. "Don't drink your sorrows away."
"Says you, touya-nii."
"Oh, fuck you." Dabi hissed. "Still hating your fiancée?"
"Fuck off."
"Make me bitch."
When reader was back at the dorms, they were drunk, drunk as fuck.
"What the actual fuck!" Bakugo shouted as Shoto tried to hold Reader up. "What did you do, Reader-chan?" Shoto tried to ask them, trying to coax an answer out of her. "I hate you; you know? I don't ever want to marry you. I don't want to be a fucking hero, but oh no! The public is too afraid I will become the next number one villain!" Reader started to ramble drunk. Causing Shoto to tense up as he whispered; "then perhaps, I should make it that you can only love me."
And that is exactly what he did, not knowing that the league of villains noticed.
Reader had woken up in a fancy ass room, chained to a fucking rail. Of course, they were fucking pissed and ready to kill Shoto. "Let me fucking out, you piece of shit!" Reader yelled as Shoto came in with food.
"I told you; I will make it so that I am the only one you can ever love."

Breaking news: We have yet another report to add to the slew of attacks this month, this comes just days after we broadcast rumours of villains running rampant over the city. This spate of attacks has put the entire metropolitan area at a standstill, road closures and damaged property making it difficult for commuters to get to work in the morning. Road maintenance endeavour to do its best to keep the city running, but it seems futile when these attacks continue to increase. The entire city was brought to a standstill by the mysterious villain who has still not been named, but reports show they are nothing like we have ever experienced before.
Where are the heroes now? Who will save us from the terror overwhelming our city?
Every day the crime toll continues to rise and we have no one here to protect us. The Hero Public Safety Commission assured us earlier in the week that the crime rate would go down, that the top Heroes are out there protecting our city, but if so, where are they? Is it really safe to go out anymore, who can we trust? Would you put your life in the hands of a Hero today? When they have proved our streets are no longer safe. We still have no information on what is going on, or who is involved but we must remain observant. We will continue to report the latest news as we receive it, but for now, we must implore you to heed the warnings of the city-wide curfew that is soon to be implemented. If anyone has any information on these occurrences in the city please send them to us or contact the police, you can remain anonymous. The safety of our citizens is what is most important, stay vigilant and don’t go out unless it is absolutely necessary.
Christ, what a load of bullshit the news was nowadays. Constantly whining and squealing about what heroes did and didn’t do, promoting fear-mongering like it was the hottest trend. Between your father and two older brothers dedicating their life to the cause of justice, the world always felt just a little safer to you, the naive little thing that you were. And tonight was no exception.
Despite the rapidly increasing crime rates, your judgment to grab a couple of drinks in the city with your friends was hardly swayed. The stress of it all was getting to you and you’d love nothing more to drink your heart out at one of the few spots still left open. It was a sleazy place, but it was fun. If anything, you found a bar in the area where your eldest brother was currently stationed patrolling.
Touya had always been protective of you ever since the two of you were children, and he carried that same possessiveness well into your adulthood. Always chasing off any potential suitors, keeping you out of trouble, and generally being a menace to anyone who thought they were good enough to be around his favorite little sister.
By the end of the night, stumbling around drunkenly was the only thing keeping you upright as you made your way out of the club and onto the street, looking for a taxi to get you home. Sirens wailed faintly in the distance, a mess of blue and red lighting up the darkened streets.
“Hey sweetheart. Need a hand?”
Grubby hands met your arms the same time the cool air of the night did, tugging and pulling at you to come closer, wherever that may be. Jaunts and laughter echoed off the buildings, only adding to the haziness the alcohol induced. “What’s a pretty little thing like yourself doing out here all on your lonesome?”
Weak attempts to push the group of assaulters off you were in vain as they groped and squeezed your body at their pleasure. “Come on, we’re just trying to keep ya company. Right, boys?”
“Stop..”
Your whine came across much more pathetic than you could have ever hoped, only earning more chuckles from the men. “Just relax, sweetheart. We’ll take good care of you.”
Blue flames danced around the group of you, closing the lot of you against the building wall in a small circle of fire.
“Will you now? Last I checked, I'm the only man suited for that.” Touya was less than amused to have found out from Fuyumi that you traveled into the city given its state, even more so when he saw how drunk and disorderly you were being.
“T-Touya-nii!”
The men untangled themselves from you with ease, tossing you into the arms of your expectant brother, who was more than glad to pull you into a tight embrace. “Shit! It's the number three, Heatstroke!”
The comforting warmth of his body and scent of his cologne settled your frantic nerves, tucking yourself closer into his arms. “Honestly, it’s like you're asking for it at this point.”
Your heart sank low in your chest, but you couldn't find the strength to move away from him as he scowled down at you.
“Look at what you're wearing, you little tease. Bet you would have loved to have them violate you, huh slut?”
Never has Touya been so venomous with you before; it made your heart hurt, even more, to see your beloved nii-san be so cruel.
“Don’t you worry, that’s why your big brother is here to show you who you really belong to.”
Shoved against the wall, he pinned your trembling form with his right knee in between your legs and his hands wandering over your skimpy dress.
“You boys can stick around to watch; let a real man show you how it's done.”
Flames singed at your dress, burning it to ashes to expose you in the cool wind of the night. Hot fingers pressed into your skin, littering marks in their wake before they wrapped around your throat. “You were just begging for nii-san to come to save your slutty ass, huh, princess? I know you checked my patrol schedule before ending up at this dive.”
His hand tightened around your neck, his lips at your ear. “Wanted nii-san to come put you in your place, yeah? After fuckin’ teasing me all these years, you finally cracked me. Are you proud of yourself, little girl?”
A whine slipped from your constricted throat, your smaller hand gripping at the large one squeezing you with everything it had. “And now you've got an audience to witness my ownership over you. You're mine, little girl.”
Finally releasing your throat, his hands traveled down to your chest and groped at your roughly, pinching and pulling at your soft, sensitive nipples. Bile was rising in your throat as you drowned in your own fear, feeling him drag you into the depths of depravity.
“What’s the matter, imouto? I thought you said I was your favorite. You're hurting my feelings, y’know.”
“Touya, please-”
A scoff slapped you hard in the face as his knee jerked up against your cunt. “Don’t start with me. I know who you really are and what you really want, even better than yourself.”
His words stabbed at your heart, and his wandering hands only seemed to pour salt over the wounds. “You’re nothing more than my whore, little sister.”
Hips ground against your backside in a slow, teasing manner, groans pushing past his lips as he did so. “You have no one to blame but yourself.”
His erection was pressed flush against you, straining in his pants before he unzipped himself. At this point, you were more than sobered up running on fear and adrenaline alone. Your panties were ripped clean off with his free hand while the other stroked his hardening cock. “Look at me.”
The tip was aligned with your hole, rubbing slightly to gather the minimal wetness between your lips. “I said look at me.”
Teary eyes peaked up at him through wet lashes, silently pleading with a man who was not known for mercy.
“Good fuckin’ girl, so obedient for your big brother.”
With one snap of his hips, Touya fully sheathed himself inside of your tight cunt, groaning at the way you squealed for him. “Aw, you like that, huh, princess. Feeling good?”
A warbled moan was the only response you could give him as he slowly began to pull out. The alcohol had you buzzing enough to block out the pain of the stretch, and damn did you feel filled to the brim.
“Can’t wait to breed this greedy little cunt of yours.”
His pace was slow, agonizingly so. Touya couldn't help but savor every second of the first time having been inside you, especially after dreaming about it for so long. God, if it didn't turn him on to have an audience, knowing that these men knew he was fucking his sister.
What would the media think? God, the news cycle would be ripped to shreds tomorrow over this breaking story. But hey, no PR is bad PR.
The thought of finally having staked his claim in you almost had him coming prematurely, but he had to hold out for your very first time together, and it certainly wouldn't be the last.
Heh, your crying face was so cute. Those tears weren't shy by any means and neither were your sobs. It's alright, you’ll learn to love being Touya’s cocksleeve.
“Say you love me.”
An impossible request when you're being violated by the person you held dearest to your heart.
His pace had picked up brutally, slamming into you without care for his flames spreading wildly nor the group of assaulters who seemed to vanish once they had the opening to.
“I-I love you, nii-san! I love you!”
Your cries were shrill and whiny, echoing into the chaotic night. The grip on your hips was heating up, so much so that his handprints were burned into your love handles.
“Good girl, good little slut.”
His breathing was erratic, hot against your neck as he growled and grunted into your ear. “Gonna let nii-san breed this pretty little pussy? Yes, you are. I know you are because you're fuckin’ mine, bitch.”
Moaning out your name, Touya came deep inside your womb, thick ropes of his cum painting your insides. You were soon to follow thanks to his thumb against your clit, causing you to writhe and whine in his arms.
Utterly spent, you rested against the brick wall you were pinned to, feeling the cum drip out of your still filled hole.
“Let’s get you home and into my bed, princess. I gotta go have a chat with Dad and Shouto, let ‘em know you’re fully off limits now.”

This is part 2 to my other fic Love Thy Brother which you can read here
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” - Genesis 3:1
Twelve days.
Twelve days since you lost your virginity.
Twelve days since you lost your virginity to your step-brother, no less.
The night that it happened, you lay awake in your bed dreading the aftermath of the horrific incident. How could you face him again? How could you face your family? How could you face God?
You were too cowardly to face the rest of your household. The Todoroki family welcomed you into their home only for you betray them by sleeping with Touya. Ever since you were little, your mother would say she had a sort of sixth sense that meant God would always tell her when you’d been up to mischief. It sounds silly but there was no explanation for how she would always catch out in lie or know things that you never told her. You feared she would take one look at you and know the sin you committed. And so you chose to make yourself scarce, taking extra shifts at work and choosing to study at the campus library rather than at home. Your siblings seemed to notice how busy you suddenly were, often remarking how they missed you around the house. That just made you feel more ashamed.
As for God, you felt like you needed to do whatever necessary to prove your faith. You wanted Him to know the extent of your shame and remorse. You were weak in spirit, making you an easy target for someone as devious as Touya. You prayed and begged for forgiveness until your knees hurt but no matter what you did, the guilt was inescapable. You realized it was because, irrespective of the regret and remorse you felt, you couldn’t deny that you enjoyed what happened. You liked the way Dabi made you feel and you hated yourself for it. But no matter how much you liked it, something like that could never happen again. As penance, you banned yourself from bringing your hands anywhere near your groin. After all that temptation is what brought you to this point in the first place. But the thread of your self-control is thin and withered so at night when you’re certain everyone is asleep, you’re humping your pillow like an animal and biting down on your lip trying to keep from moaning his name. At least you weren’t touching right?
Dabi, by some God-given miracle, made himself scarce as well. It wasn’t uncommon for the noirette to disappear for days at a time doing heaven knows what only to arrive back at home like nothing happened; so no one really questioned his absence. Perhaps he  felt the same way you did and was avoiding facing you and the other Todorokis.
Yeah right.
Shame? Todoroki Touya doesn’t know the meaning of the word.
In any case, you had become used to a Dabi-less house and so lulled into a false sense of safety, slowly but surely reverting back to normal. That’s why as you make your way downstairs, prepared to go to your church, the sound of gunfire and explosions from the living room doesn’t alarm you. Probably Natsuo or Shouto playing one of their video games, you thought. But when you get to the bottom of the stairs you’re met with unmistakable dark locks. Not just him. The back of another person’s head, one with pale blue, shoulder length hair. Before you can stop yourself, you let out a gasp. Neither of them react, seemingly too focused on their game. You don’t waste any time feeling relieved, choosing instead to make a silent escape.
You could only dream of being so lucky.
“Oi!” Your step-brother calls without turning around. He hasn’t seen you, you think. If you move quickly you can still get out of this. “I know you heard me, brat. Get over here before I drag you over here.” He still doesn’t bother to turn around but the sharpness in his tone lets you know that you’d be smart to listen. You take a second to steel your nerves and make your way over to the couch, trying your best to look as intimidating as possible. You scowl at both men but they are so engrossed in their video game, they don’t even acknowledge that you’re standing right there. “Aren’t you gonna say hi? We have company.”
We?
The company in question is Shigaraki Tomura. He’s been to the house before although he’s never even so much as glanced in your direction, too busy with his phone or playing games with Dabi. Despite your hard expression you can only manage a meek “Hello Shigaraki.”
He responds by finally looking at you, with a sleazy grin, a pair of crimson eyes, surrounded by creases meet your own. “Sup.”
Beer cans litter the coffee table, one of them being turned into a makeshift ashtray while both have smouldering cigarettes perched between their lips. “You’re not supposed to smoke in the house.”
“You’re not supposed to smoke in the house.” Dabi mocks you with a nasal voice.
You simply roll your eyes, not interested in continuing this interaction any further.  “Whatever. I’m leaving now.” You state with as much firmness as you can muster. You spin on your heels but are kept in place by long, slender digits wrapped around your wrist.
“Where are you off to anyways?” The game paused, both boys now looking at you.
Out of habit, you answer truthfully. “Bible study.”
Shigaraki and Dabi burst into raucous laughter.
You should have lied.
“Nah you’re gonna hang out with me and Shigaraki for a bit.”
“Dabi, I have to leave.”
“You don’t have to do anything except what I tell you and I’m telling you to sit.”
Before you can protest you’re being hauled on to the couch, squeezed between the two of them.
“Nice necklace.” Tomura snorts, hand reaching out to grab at your crucifix but you swat it away. His gaze is unnerving. It makes you wonder if- no. He promised he wouldn’t.
Just like that, their game is resumed, as if you were never there. A few rounds pass, no words exchanged between either of them, only curses muttered under their breath. “Dabi, can I please go. I’m bored.”
Wrong choice of words.
“You hear that Tomura? The princess is bored.” His fingers are still moving rapidly over his controller.
“Really now? Come on then Todoroki, let’s show her a good time. I’ve seen how she likes to have fun.”
His comment on your necklace suddenly makes sense, but you still can’t believe it. “You didn’t
” you whip your head back to look at Dabi.
”Sorry doll, you made your Nii-san so proud, I just had to show you off.” Dabi smiles shamelessly, lighting himself another cigarette.
“You’re fucking sick Touya.” Tomura says, however his tone is not one of disgust but rather of admiration.
“You promised...” Your voice breaks. You’re humiliated beyond belief.
Both of them laugh at you again, discarding their controllers. “Told you, it’s adorable how stupid she is.” Dabi remarks to his friend, as if you’re not sitting right next to them.
You try to force your way off the couch but get pulled into Dabi’s lap, one of his arms hooking around both of yours, securing them behind your back. You squirm in his arms but he stills you with a hard slap on your inner thigh. “Be good okay? Don’t embarrass me.” He nuzzles into your neck.
Shigaraki flips up your dress exposing your white lace panties. He runs his thumb up and down your clothed slit, he fabric slowly becoming even more transparent. One severe jerk to the top of your dress and the straps are torn clean off, revealing the matching bra. “Yo, Touya. I thought she was a good girl.”
Dabi peers over your shoulder to get look. “Who’s all this for babe? You screwing the preacher or something? Or were you hoping I’d do something like this?” He tugs down your bra until your breasts are spilling over the top of it.
“Dabi
” Your choke on your plea when he sinks his teeth into your neck. He bites down so hard you’re positive he’s left a mark.
“Who?”
“T-Touya-nii.” You whimper.
“Better.”
Your destroyed dress is discarded somewhere across the room and you find yourself on your hands and knees with Shigaraki kneeling on the couch in front of you and Dabi behind you.
“Go easy on her alright Tomura. It’s her first time sucking cock.” He chuckles.
Your eyes go wide. “Wait...” you mewl but neither pay you any mind.
“And you.” Dabi yanks a fistful of your hair. “No teeth. No puke. Or I’ll let my boy ream your little ass as punishment.”
“Yeah. What he said.” Shigaraki mutters, pulling his semi out of his sweatpants, rubbing his tip against your lips. His is not as scary as your step-brother’s but him staring down at you like this, makes him seem every bit as intimidating.
Pre-cum dribbles from the swollen tip. You’re not entirely sure you want that in your mouth but you’re also not sure if you have a choice so you open up hesitantly.
Dabi’s right. It is your first time doing something like this. You don’t know what you’re supposed to do but as it turns out you don’t have to do much, not with the way Shigaraki starts thrusting his quickly hardening member into your mouth.
“Move your tongue slut.” The man in front of you grunts. You do your best despite the heavy intrusion to obey his command, moving from side to side, swirling around the head when he pulls out of your mouth. He looks down at you with cruel vermillion eyes, panting as he strokes himself in front of you, spreading your saliva across his shaft before sliding deep into your mouth again.
Behind you, Dabi spreads apart your cheeks, squeezing the flesh in his calloused hands. “Remember what I said. Be good and I’ll give you a reward.” He pulls your panties to the side and lets out a whistle at the sight of your dripping slit. “She’s enjoying it. Make her take it deeper.”
You can’t possibly fathom how much deeper he can go when his head is already nudging at your tonsils. You try to swallow the saliva building up in your mouth, making your cheeks hollow out around Shigaraki’s shaft. Seems like that was the right thing to do as his hand flies to the back of your head. “Shit. Shit. So good.”
Dabi’s breath wafts over your pussy. He spreads your lips apart and you feel his hot tongue lick up the juices leaking from your hole. You squeal around Tomura’s dick. You want to pull off but his spindly fingers hold your head in place.
“Told you angel. Good little sisters get rewards.” With that he takes your clit between his lips and suckles on it gently while one of his fingers circles your entrance. Knuckle by knuckle he slides into you, making you keen. You arch your back trying to shift your hips backwards against his hand, silently urging him to find that special spot he showed you last time. He establishes a loose rhythm. Hot wet muscle and cold metal of his piercing circles the sensitive bundle of nerves, before applying suction while his fingers work you open.
The sensation is overwhelming, a form of heavenly torture and your thighs quiver barely able to hold you up while you use your last bit of mental strength to focus on suppressing your gags. That mental strength all but evaporates when the digits inside you graze that rough patch embedded in your walls. It’s so pleasurable your reflex is to run from his fingers. Luckily for Shigaraki, that means you move forward, taking him further into your mouth.
“This where you want me? This your spot, angel?” Dabi taunts you. Shigaraki holds you in place while two of your step-brother’s fingers drill your cunt, hitting that spot over and over again. Garbled moans and cries leave your mouth and reverberate around Tomura’s cock, proving to be too much for him ultimately.
“Shit Stop!” Don’t wanna come yet.” He pulls out your mouth so that a string of your drool drips down to your breasts.
“God! Touya-nii!” You sputter out.
“Still with the God shit?” He uses your hair to force you to look at him, neck twisted at an awkward, uncomfortable angle. “God ever make you feel this good?” His fingers thrust into you harder. Your whole body feels like it’s on fire.
“Ngghh-N-no –oh! Oh!” is your incoherent answer.
Dabi forces you back down, shoving you face first into the cushions. “See? Fuck him. Give up on god. Give up on everyone except your big brother cause no one else can make you feel this good.”
You’re so pathetic. The way you’re rocking yourself in unison with the motions of his hands. The way your tongue hangs out of your mouth, impeding any sort of intelligible verbal response. The way you’re mindlessly nodding along to whatever filth is coming out of Dabi’s mouth.
“C’mon Touya. Turn her around. Wanna try out that sweet pussy you’ve been bragging about.” You’re reminded that you aren’t alone. No, your brother’s best friend is right there to witness exactly how pathetic you are.
“Yeah in a minute. I’m still having my fun.” Dabi answers, face pressed against your mons before working you with his mouth once again.
“Man! Come on!” Tomura whines.
“I said in a minute.  Not my fault you can’t last.”
It’s amazing how they can bicker like this right now, as if you aren’t on your hands and knees for them, gummy walls still pulsing around his fingers. However, it’s not long before Dabi’s focus is back on you taking you to the brink of orgasm. He slows his fingers, keeping you balanced on that razor thin edge. “Should I make you cum angel?” His voice is dripping with fake concern. “Dunno
 what’s in it for me?”
“Anything! Touya-nii please!”
“Anything? You gonna obey me? Do whatever I say like a good little angel? You gonna worship me?” You can’t tell if he’s being serious or if he’s mocking you.
Probably the latter. And you deserve it too.
Your faith was the thing you deemed more important than anything and anyone else but Dabi, all too easily, convinced you to disregard that. Made you lose all sense and give into lust by showing you mindblowing pleasure, only magnified by your awareness of how deeply sinful this all was. That’s the extent of the power he has over you. The story of Adam and Eve is one you know forwards and backwards and yet you were so easily tempted forbidden fruit and left completely corrupted.  Yeah, he’s definitely mocking you.
“Any- fuck- anything” You’re wiggling your ass, goading Dabi into finishing you off
“Cum in my mouth. Angel, give it to me” That’s the final straw. You explode around his fingers. Despite your walls, clamping around him, he manages to piston into you, hitting that squishy spot with astounding accuracy. His unyielding stimulation makes it feel as though the high won’t end. You’re not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Eventually, it does end though, his fingers drag out against the pull of your swollen pussy. He licks you clean making sure he gets every last drop of your cum, both inside and out, on his tongue. The ball of his piercing catches onto your rim making you yelp. He soothes the sting with gentle laps of his tongue.
“Tastes so sweet angel. So sweet knowing I’m the only one to ever fuck this pretty pussy.” He snickers before adding “So far.”
“Yeah, can I fuck her now?” Tomura was turned on before but seeing the way you fell apart at the hands of your brother? His minimal patience has run out. All he can think of now is being inside you.
“You heard him babe. Turn around.” He spanks your ass. You try to turn around but thanks to your shaky legs you nearly fall off the couch. Dabi catches you before that happens and he dutifully sets you up on all fours, held up by quivering limbs. You hear heavy breathing from behind you as Shigaraki taps his head against your puffy clit while you twitch in place.
“She wants this so bad. Had no idea your Christian little sister was such a whore.” Shigaraki mutters. He holds you still as he buries himself in you, breathing becoming more erratic with every inch until his hip bones are digging into your soft flesh. He’s so deep. You feel so full. You squeeze shut your eyelids, savouring the stretch.
Calloused fingers press into your jaw, making your eyes shoot open. “Pretty angel, did you forget about me?” Dabi looms over you, making a show of spitting in his palm and using it to stroke himself. He slips his thumb into your mouth, pad pressing down on the plush pillow of your tongue. “Gonna stuff you nice ‘n full angel.” All you can do is blink up at him with teary eyes, pupils blown wide with desire.
Shigaraki begins thrusting into you, hips moving at a brutal pace. Dabi isn’t far behind him, replacing his thumb with his cock and you don’t waste time waiting for him to tell you what to do. You close your lips around his shaft, engulfing him in the wet heat of your mouth.
Unlike his friend, Dabi starts off slow. His piercings drag across your tongue and you taste metal and the salt of his pre-cum. It takes some time for you to get used to taking him in your mouth, the jewellery an added obstacle.
You feel so full.
Shigaraki is bottoming out with every thrust, it’s so lewd the way it makes you squelch around him. Dabi’s shaft is rubbing your throat raw and still, you make an effort to take him deeper. He keeps one hand on the back of your head while he fucks you mouth.
He looks so ethereal, so euphoric, letting out little moans and whispered expletives. The sounds he makes are divine, so heavily contrasted by everything you know about him. It leaves you star struck. He recognizes the adoration in your eyes and responds in kind with a cocky smirk. He remembers how you looked at him when you first met. Disdain and judgment. Now you look at him like he’s your only salvation.
It’s sad actually. How you’re so desperate for someone to tell you how to live. And what a sweet, adoring little follower you are. Wasted on religion if you ask him. So soft and pliant, perfect for your big brother to mould and corrupt into his personal fuckangel.
“Angel, Nii-san’s gonna fill you up. And you’re gonna take it yeah?”
Your whole life you aspired to this holy standard of perfection in the hopes of escaping eternal damnation. But you’re beyond absolution now.
“All of it down your throat.”
It’s okay though.
If heaven doesn’t feel like this, you’re not sure it’s worth all the effort to get there.
He holds your necklace behind you like a leash, twisting it around his fingers. Between the way he’s basically strangling you and the way your swallowing muscles contract around his cock means that you’re not getting much air into your lungs. Your head is spinning, from being both oxygen deprived and cock drunk.
“Your God doesn’t want you anymore.” The clasp snaps and he dangles the charm in front of your face. The mould of Christ nailed to the cross taunts you.  What was once a symbol of divine love and God’s boundless forgiveness and sacrifice is just a reminder of how far you’ve fallen into depravity, creaming around Shigaraki’s cock as he ruins your cunt while your Nii-san claims your throat “You’re filthy.” Touya sneers at you as he holds himself in your throat, watching you cry and choke around him. “Dirty fuckin angel.” He grunts as he floods your mouth with the taste of his cum. It’s not exactly pleasant but you try to swallow it all down. There’s just so much. That means he’s pleased with you right? You want him to be pleased. Good girls get rewards he said
“It’s okay.” He muses as he pulls out of your mouth. “You have me. I’m better than God and I Iove you when you’re nasty like this.” He empathizes his point by dragging his wet, softening cock across your face. “Nii-sans perfect little angel.”
It’s so pitiful how the small praise makes your heart bloom and makes your hole flutter.
You’re coughing up Touya’s cum while your body shakes with Shigaraki’s thrusts.
“What about me hm? I’m fucking you. What? You don’t like it?” Tomura’s going harder now, determined to get his fair share of your attention.
“Shig-Shigaraki – shit. Slow down!”
You’re ignored by both of them once again. If anything, Shigaraki starts fucking you harder
.”Yo’ dustpot. You better pull out. That hole still belongs to me.”
The warning falls on deaf ears, Tomura is too far gone. “So warm, she’s squeezin’ me. Fuck. Fuck.’’ No thoughts, just your tight cunt.
“Gonna do whatever I tell you?” Dabi’s talking to you now, cerulean eyes boring into yours.
You nod still staring at him with absolute devotion.
“Touya-nii’s will be done? Huh? Has a nice ring to it.”
When you don’t respond he grabs you by your cheeks forming an open mouthed pout. “Say it.”
“Touya-nii’shhh will be done.” The words come out distorted but he’s satisfied
“Oh yeah? Then be good angel slut and come on his cock for me.”
You’re pushed over the edge, coming for the second time. Your walls clamp down around him as you sob out both their names in the form of incoherent babbling. It hits you as hard as the first one. You’re so caught up in your high you barely register the vice grip on your hips, the frantic humping against your ass. “Tight. Fuckin tight! Gotta breed! Breed this fucking hole.”
His hot, sticky cum floods your walls with, your throbbing cunt milking him for everything he’s got. He ruts against you a couple more times before removing himself completely.
You hear the familiar click of a camera. He’s sorry (not really) but the sight of your fucked out hole leaking globs of your cream and his cum was too hot for Shigaraki to not add to his spankbank.
“Thanks for that little sis.” Dabi is resting on the couch, head thrown back smoking a cigarette.
“Yeah thanks sweetness.”  Both men, tuck themselves back into their pants
Everything feels so surreal. You cautiously move you hand between your thighs. Feeling your sore abused cunt in an attempt to grasp the reality of what happened.
Wait a minute.
It’s too much, that too sticky to be just your arousal down there. The more you squeeze, contracting your pelvic floor, the more it seems to seep out of you.
“You
You came inside.” You murmur as your eyes well up with tears. Whatever daze you were in seems to be broken by this revelation. Instead it’s replaced by fear of what the consequences of this might be.
Dabi smacks his friend upside the head. “You fuckin’ dumbass. I told you not to.”
Judging by his grin, Shigaraki doesn’t register the insult. He’s too busy basking in the afterglow. “Aw, don’t cry babe. You were gripping me so tight, I thought you wanted it. ‘S’okay, your Nii-san will get you a plan B”
“Fuck no. That’s your jizz inside her.” He scowls, eyes focused on the cum that’s leaking out of your spent pussy.
“C’mon Dabi don’t be like that. I’m broke right now.” Shigaraki pleads.
Touya huffs and rolls his eyes.  “You can get yourself a morning after pill right? Tomura will pay you back.”
“Yeah babe. I promise.” He gives you a dopey smile.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out he’s lying. Yeah, you know better now. You just nod as you pull up your panties, cringing at the sticky, wet sensation against your cunt.
“Me and Tomura are heading out. Make sure you clean all this up before anyone gets home.”
“B-but Touya-nii-“ you snivel.
“No buts. Clean up or you won’t be sitting comfy for a week. Are we clear?”
“Yes Touya-nii.” You reply defeated.
“And do it properly. Fuyumi has 3 brothers, she knows what a cumstain looks like and I don’t wanna have to do any explaining to her.”
You only nod, trying (and failing) to blink away tears.
Dabi rewards you with a chaste kiss to your cheek. “Best little sister in the world.” And he leaves you with that.

amorous entanglement
Tumblr media
The youngest sister.
A prize to be fought for, innocent, teasing, always following the rules and getting whatever she wants. You were the only one of your siblings that had daddy wrapped around your perfect little fingers.
Soft and warm and hiding all those deep fucked up thoughts in your perfect little head.
Touya knew his little sister couldn’t be as perfect as you pretended to be. How could it be so? Soft tits poking out of your little sundresses you didn’t wear bras with, cute nipples straining against your big tee shirt you wore to sleep in, or even in those nice little school button up shirts.
Touya imagined there was much more to your perfect little act. Why else would your small hands pull a little extra hard when you played with your big brother's hair?
Why would you sit in his lap when everyone was gathered around watching a movie? Did you not notice the way his cock would twitch under the thin fabric of your shorts? Did you not mean for his cock to fit perfectly between your thighs when you took the liberty of sitting in his lap?
He had seen your eyes linger just a bit too long when he’d be working out, cheeks flushed as you bit down on your tongue. The way you always insisted on ‘watching’ him play his games so you could learn, but really he knew you got off to watching him get so worked up over a game.
Sometimes late at night, when nobody should be awake he could even hear the soft mewling sounds of you playing with your pussy.
Touya let his mind wonder to what it would sound like if you moaned out for your big brother, your nii-san. He craved to have your pretty lips around his pierced cock, to watch drool fall Touya needed to know what your pussy felt like clenched around his cock.
He wondered if you were untouched, pussy free of anyone's touch but your own. Perfect and innocent and waiting for your big brother to use.
When the opportunity presents itself to Touya, he doesn’t even hesitate to take it. Just the two of you were home, and would be the whole day, he would take perfect advantage of finally tasting his sweet little sister. He had called you into his room, asking if you wanted to come watch a scary movie with him. ‘You can sit in big brother's lap if you’ll feel safer.’ he had said, easily convincing you to watch the movie with him.
“Stop moving, you make it hard to concentrate.” Touya growled with annoyance as he squeezed your hips, a little whine falling from you as he did. “Touya-nii, don’t wanna watch this anymore.
You lazily leaned into his chest, craning your neck to watch him. His grip on your hips didn’t falter, “What do you wanna do?” his voice comes out softer, quieter than normal. His palms smoothed over your stomach, rubbing and slowly moving under your shirt.
“Nii-san will keep you safe.. I can keep you warm and protected from those monsters..” He felt you shiver as he let a single finger drag softly from under your breasts and down your stomach, he almost couldn’t wait. But he had to drag this out, had to make sure he hadn’t been imagining all the little things you did, had to know he was right about you. Touya needed to know his sweet little sister was just as fucked up as he was, or he’d never forgive himself for what he was about to try and do.
“Touya-nii, why are your hands under my shirt?”
“Just want you to be warm, you keep shakin’ so I assumed you were cold.”
You weren’t cold, but you shrugged it off and settled into the warmth of your big brother's strong hands, eyes focused back on the tv in front of you. Touya waited, let you get back into a trance of watching the scary movie before his hands slowly cupped your delicate breasts. Your body shuddered against him, a small pout forming on your lips as your eyes peered up at him.
“What are you doinggg?” Fuck, that whine. That whiney little pitch your voice held that made your brothers cock harden and strain against his sweats. “Touya-nii.. Stop ittt.” His attention finally came back as you squeezed at his arms to push your big brothers hands away.
“But they’re so soft, can’t nii-san just hold them while the movie plays? I won’t squeeze.” But he did, he palmed at them, rolled them in his hands as soon as the words left his mouth. Your entire body tensed, your aching, untouched pussy clenching in response to his touch. No, no, no. This wasn’t real, it couldn’t be real. Your silence brought an unwarranted pinch of the soft bud of your nipple, a small squeak leaving your lips.
“Nii-san, s-stop.” You could barely get the words out, because you really didn’t want him to stop, but you knew it was wrong. You knew your cunny coming to life at the small touches was wrong, but all you’ve ever wanted was your big brother to touch you.
“It doesn’t feel good?” He asks, pinching and toying with your breasts, sure to leave bruises on the sensitive skin. Your head fell onto his shoulder, reddened face hiding within the warmth of his skin. “It does, but it’s wrong..” You mumble, nails digging into his arms as he continues the assault on your breasts, all while you hold back little mewls of pleasure from leaving your mouth.
“Tell me it doesn’t feel good, that you don’t want this. Fight me and push me away, and I’ll stop..”
“Nii-san just wants you to feel good.. wanna keep you safe in my arms..”
Your death grip on his arm falters, your face and body visibly relaxes as you let yourself slip into your nii-sans touches. “Always dreamed about touya-nii touching me..” It wasn’t a lie, from the very moment you were born touya had been the one who loved and cherished you. He took care of you when you got hurt, showed you how to do things, was gentle with you in his own way. Your big brother, your Touya-nii, has always made you feel safe and loved, so why deny the pleasure of him doing this for you? Why stop your big brother from helping out his sweet baby sister, just like he always did. This didn't have to be any different.
“M’gonna make you feel so good baby, let big brother show you how good you can feel.” His hand moved down your quivering body, palm over the entirety of your heat. Your hips met his hand before you could even think, not that you had a coherent thought anyways, you were only thinking of your nii-sans cock in you.
Touya didn’t wait long, one hand keeping you firm against his chest as long fingers rubbed rough circles into your sensitive clit. “F-feels good..” You cry out against his chest, face hidden as you try to muffle the sinful moans leaving your lips. Touya moved his fingers quickly and harshly, he would make you cum before you got your big brother's cock. He had no intentions of being gentle, your big brother had wanted to watch you cream on his cock for months, and he wasn’t gonna take it easy.
Your first orgasm ripped through you quickly, but his movements didn’t stop. Touya had you on your back, face buried between your thighs before you could even reject it. His thumb kept a steady pace on your clit, pierced tongue dipping into your warm and sensitive cunt. He had imagined this multiple times in his head, came so fucking hard everytime he thought of how his baby sisters pussy would taste on his tongue. And fuck did he wish he wouldn’t of waited so long. He was devouring you. Both hands under your thighs, holding you in place as your body writhed and shaked at his touch.
You big brother had his tongue shoved as far as it could go, slurping and lapping up your sweet juices like you were his last meal he’d ever have. Your tiny hands had a firm grip in his bright white hair, whimpers and loud pleas for your big brother flowing out your mouth. “Please, please, please..” you were so fucking pathetic under his hold, but touya wasn’t paying attention to your words, he was busy eating your precious cunny out. His forbidden paradise. Touya could stay buried between your thighs for hours, making you cum on his face until you couldn’t handle it. But your big brother could barely handle it, he had to fill up your pussy right now or he’d cum in his pants.
The sound of clothes being thrown off brought your attention back to the present, eyes wide as you take in your big brother's cock. Your entire body shuddered as you took it in, mouth salivating at the sight of your nii-sans pierced cock. He moved between your thighs and rubbed his swollen cockhead between your soaked slit, groaning as he watched you clench around nothing. He was about to push himself in to your perfect, welcoming cunny when your small hand reached forward to stop him. Touya’s head tilted to the side, watching your wide eyes stare at him nervously.
“You’ve never been fucked before have you?” When your head shook no, he couldn’t help but be slightly guilty for the way his cock twitched in excitement. “You want big brother to take your virginity? Wanna let your nii-san show you how good a nice big cock feels baby sister?” Your hips jut forward in response, nodding your head quickly as you watch your big brother. “Want touya-nii to fuck me good.” And he sure as fuck did.
Touya pushed the tip of his cock in, groaning as he sank his length further into your wet cunt. He lets out a few praises, giving you time to adjust to his length before he gives a few needy thrusts. He was being nice by giving those first few gentle moments, but he wasn’t going to hold back. His thrusts began quick, sloppy and showed his neediness for you as low moans left your big brother's mouth. He loved the way your tight virgin pussy clenched around him.
“Tell me how good I feel.”
“Let big brother touya know how good he feels in your pretty pussy.”
“Nii-chan..” you purr, pussy fluttering around him as you grip onto his arm. “Touya-nii’s cock feels so good in meee..” He rubs your clit, growling as you clench around him again. You were so fucking tight. Everything he could've ever imagined. His baby sister, you were perfect. Soaking wet on your big brothers cock, begging for him to fuck your pussy like good big brothers do. He was right about you, he knew his sweet little sister was just as fucked up and needy as he is. And god, would he fucking cherish your sweet little cunt.
“Nii-san owns this pussy.. gonna fuck you so good.. gonna cum in my little sisters virgin pussy..” he moans, thrusts getting sloppier as he starts to lose control. “Nii-san no,.. can’t cum inside.. can’t-.” Your voice was cut off by a loud moan ripping through your throat, Touya’s fingers rubbing quick circles around your swollen clit to silence your complaints. “Cum on nii-chans cock.. cum for me little sister, show big brother who you belong to.”
“Nii-san
wanna cum all over big brother’s cock..” He continues his assault on your clit and soon your thighs are squeezing around his waist, eyes slammed shut and head lolling to the side as you cum on your big brother's cock. A few more sloppy thrusts and you’re milking your big brother's cock as his hot cum coats your walls, filling your pussy to the brim. “Fuck, fuck, fuck..” He groans out, ramming his cock into your cunt, mixing your juices together.
Touya goes to pull out, but you clench your pussy down on him, tugging your brother closer and begging for him to stay in. “Please nii-chan, please stay inside me, don’t wanna lose you..” touya nods, warm arms wrapping you in his embrace as he lays on his side, pulling you with him. His hands soothe over your back, letting your naturally cool body warm up in his embrace.
“Love you touya-nii, never wanna love no one else..” He grunts, soothes a hand over your sweaty hair, kissing your head. “Go to sleep.” He says, and you do, a content smile on your face. You finally had your nii-san and he had you, the bond between two siblings that could never ever be broken. You’d forever be tainted by your big brother's touch and never wanted to let anyone take you again.
a/n: idk I’ve never wrote smut and lowkey love this but anyways pls comment hehe.

I love the “Dabi hates Shoto.” Like, when has he ever said that??? Right now the man’s on a destructive path possibly believing he won’t get out alive so is just using Shoto to hurt his father more. Imho Dabi is one of the most self aware of the villains of what he’s done, the man doesn’t deny his past actions. He knows it wasn’t his family’s fault since it was all caused by E. He’s just using them because he feels like he has no future... if Dabi really hated Shoto he would have tried to kill him at the Training Camp when they first met or even killed him during the War Arc after E passed out instead of sparing him. Uhhh, sorry for the rant but it’s such a bruh moment when people say stuff like that.
It's ok. rant to your hearts content!
He is the most self aware character in the manga. He knows his actions are absolutely terrible and somewhere in his mind, it was necessary in order to make endeavor look bad and ruin his image, and expose the abuse that lead him to become a villain. He doesn't hate shouto or his family, except for endeavor for the damage he caused to the family and for nearly killing him. Dabi knows that none of this is shouto's fault at all. He's doing everything he can to make endeavor suffer and that includes himself dying in the process. Does he hate his mom and siblings? Nope not even, he still desperately wants to be seen by them. He still calls his mom, mom and his siblings by their honorifics. Hell, during his reveal, Dabi even said he was hurt that his own family didn't recognize him. And still cries when he thinks about them. That's saying something. Yet. Some people cling so hard to the 'I never cared' line as if their life depended on it.
Another rant I would like to add with 'Dabi hating shouto' is the 'dabi will never be saved and or shouto will kill Dabi' logic.
Where? Like seriously. Did anywhere in the manga and shouto's characterization even remotely said he's going to kill his own brother and not saving him?
When he cried to his mom when he was a baby, not wanting to become a person who hurts people like his dad? Looked up and inspired by All Might. Wants to be a hero that puts people at ease and thinks violence isn't the answer due to his childhood trauma. And even when his mom didn't ask, he saved her and rebuilt his relationship with her after she burned him.
When he cried when he had to fight his brother in the war arc and was more concerned that his brother's body was being burned and getting hurt than he himself being burned by his brother's flames. The first thought when he woke up was how similar he was to Dabi and empathized with him. Now calls him Touya-nii. Was angry at endeavor for 'forgetting' about their plan to stop Dabi and save him.
The only hero that can truly save Dabi and get to him is shouto. I can imagine the Rei and Touya parallels taking place and being repeated with dabi being saved.
In my opinion, I can't imagine the todoroki family plot ending with touya dying at all. It will be a terrible ending for the plotline as it talks about reunification and a broken family having another chance, with shouto being the hero of the family. And also it will ruin the prophetic dream foreshadow that endeavor had about his family. Not to mention the character arcs such as shouto and dabi.
I hate (I don't feel bad) to break it to some people but dabi dying in the foreseeable future chapters is having a much of a chance as pigs flying and a person licking their elbows. He's going to be saved and live weather you like it or not.

A House, Not a Home ( Dabi x Todoroki!Reader )
Tumblr media
Warning(s): This is siblings.  It is not a romantic story. Don't be gross.  This will have spoilers for the current Manga arc, though not many.  A little bit of health-related issues but nothing too graphic. Title inspired by Madds Buckley's Dabi song.
Title: A House, Not a Home Pairing: Dabi x Reader (Little Sister)  Fandom: My Hero Academia  Word Count: 5,405
Ages: 0 and 6
Rei sat on the futon, legs tucked under her as she held you close to her chest. Her fourth child, smaller than the other three had been. She loved all of her children but as she looked down at the crying newborn, she knew this wouldn't be enough for her husband. He would want another one to get the perfect prodigy. A small sigh left the woman's mouth. She was getting tired. She knew she had to keep it together for her children but she wasn't sure how long she would be able to keep this up.
Everyone else was asleep as she rocked you in the main room, or so she thought. Bright turquoise eyes came into view and she couldn't help but let her heart speed up. Enji had been a good husband once but after Fuyumi, he could no longer focus on anything but his legacy. He needed to be first and if he couldn't, then he would create the next number one hero. This kept him from ever being soft to his children or wife. Had you woken him up? He was never pleasant during the middle of the night... She had learned that the hard way just after Touya was born.
As smaller feet shuffled closer, Rei felt her shoulders relax. She couldn't help but be frightened by her son Touya at times. He had the same eyes as his father, so extreme and filled with a fire she couldn't describe. There had been nights where she worried Touya would follow his father's footsteps of intensity but moments like these gave her hope. He only ever acted this way when it was just the two of them. He had to be the cool big brother around his siblings and he dare not show any weakness in front of Enji. Rei wished she could change that, she really did. But, she was only one woman.
"Is she alright?" He spoke softly, eyes as wide as the moon itself as he stared down at your flushed face.
"Yes, she's just hungry is all. Babies need to eat a lot you know. You'll probably hear her cry a lot during the night but you don't have to worry. Mommy will take care of her." Rei ran her hand ever so slightly over your fuzzy head. What color hair would you have? White like her own? Red like your father's? She was just gratefully you had inherited her eyes. She didn't know if she could take another pair of those piercing eyes.
"Won't she get fat if she eats all the time?" Touya quietly sat down next to his mother, shoulders brushing against one another in a silent piece of affection. Love was shared in secret in this house. Enji didn't want Rei to make his boys soft because she babied them. He was better with Fuyumi but Natsuo proved that he hadn't learned his lesson.
Touya was too young to remember Natsuo or Fuyumi when they were babies. He had been four when Natsuo was brought home and barely over a year with Fuyumi. This was the first time he would ever truly get to experience the troubles that came along with a newborn. Natsuo still cried a lot but he just was scared to sleep by himself.
"Oh no, darling. She's growing and needs all that energy. Just like you are a growing boy. You know, she's lucky to have a big brother like you...."
        "Really?"
"Of course. All of your siblings are grateful for you, Touya. Don't ever think differently." She ran her free hand through his white hair, caressing his face as she pulled away, attention shifting back to you.
As you squirmed in her arms, she feared for your safety. She didn't have the best of health and Touya had inherited that, though not as severely as her own. Rei feared that you had inherited it more than any of the other children. Giving birth had been hard and there was a moment there when they didn't know if you were going to survive. She never wanted to admit that Enji was right but you were weak. Just a baby born into a harsh world. How would she be able to keep you safe?
"Touya, I need you to promise me something."
"Anything!" Touya could be described as a mommy's boy, though he hid it as much as he could. All of her children preferred her, as most children do prefer their mothers. It didn't help that Enji was as rough and intimidating as he was added onto that.
"This is your little sister and it's your job as a big brother to protect her. She is going to need you more than Fuyumi or Natsuo. She's sick and could really use a good big brother in her life." Rei spoke softly, eyes shifting between her two children who were awake. She didn't want to put such a burden on her eldest but something in her stomach made her fear for your future. Enji would see you as weak and interact with you as little as possible. Natsuo was too young to be a real big brother to you just yet. Touya was the best chance for you to get a good male figure in your life.
"Can you promise me that you'll always protect her?"
"Of course, mommy! I'll be the best big brother you've ever seen! I'll make sure she never cries around me!"
Rei smiled and hoped that was true. She knew if her children were going to get affection from somewhere other than her, it was going to have to be with each other. Enji was a demanding father and while Rei tried her best, she couldn't help but get tired at times from her own health issues. Touya had taken on the duty of leading his younger siblings as soon as he could walk but this was different. She could feel it and she didn't know if that was going to be a good thing or bad.
"Would you like to hold her?" Touya nodded in awe as his mother placed you in his arms, keeping her own hands there as a safety precaution. You were still so young, it would be some time before she really trusted Touya to hold you all on his own. But, she would teach him. There was so much in store for all of her children, that much was certain.
You looked so fragile like you could break if Touya even looked at you the wrong way. He could play rough with Natsuo, though he would get in trouble if he made his brother cry. Fuyumi was only two years younger than him and though she was his little sister, this felt different. So tiny...So little.
Your sobs quieted as you were moved into your brother's arms, your attention now shifting to this new person in front of you. At that moment, Touya felt his heartache for the future. He knew his dad wasn't the nicest but he wouldn't let his dad do anything to you. Not while he was around. He would be your guardian angel.
"Don't worry," He whispered as you stared up at him with watery eyes, "I'm gonna make sure you never get hurt. You'll never have to cry when I'm around. I'm gonna be your new big brother and I won't let anything happen to you.
Ages: 3 and 9
A sharp yelp followed by loud cries brought Touya rushing to the backyard. How had you even gotten out? Was no one watching you? Mom should have been...But since Shoto was born, her attention shifted to focus on him. She didn't do it on purpose but she gave him most of her attention. It was more likely to be Touya who calmed you after a nightmare, not Rei. He was the one who cleaned your cuts and put a bandaid on them.
As he ran outside, he was shocked to see you sitting on the ground, tiny fires alight on the blades of grass surrounding you. It wasn't hard to stomp out such small fires before they got big but he was more concerned about you. Why were you crying so much? What happened? Someone was always watching you, or at least he thought so. He had slipped when doing his homework. If you got hurt, it was his fault.
"What is it? Tell me, show me." He spoke, moving to where you were sitting with your legs pulled close to your chest. You were hiding your chubby hands behind your knees, shoulders shaking as you let out sobs. He was never the best when it came to you crying. He normally would just curl up next to you when you had a nightmare but it was different when you were hurt. You were always the one to go to him crying when you got a small cut or when you fell. Yet, now you were cowering away from him.
"Show me." His tone was more serious this time as he wrestled with you, finally getting a hold of your chubby hands. He felt bad when he saw you wince but he needed to see what was wrong. What if you had broken your wrist or cut off your fingers? How would you do that? He didn't know but he was sure going to find out if you had. He hadn't been expecting what actually had happened. How could he? You were still so young...
As you unfolded your hands, he was greeted with the sight of harsh burns. There was nothing around you that could have burnt you, nothing obvious anyway. He looked over your arms quickly, in a small state of panic. He may be more mature than some kids but he was still only nine. He only knew so much. The next thing he noticed was how hot your arms had become, something he had only ever felt between two people.
Taking a closer look, he noticed the dim light shining through your skin where your veins would be. When he ran his finger along the lines, he could tell they were the hottest part. The rest of the heat was dispersing from those areas. His stomach began to drop as he realized what had happened. He had hoped, dreamed, prayed that you would inherit everything from your mother. Sitting here on the grass with you now proved to him that he was wrong.
"It's okay! I know how to deal with this, you just burnt yourself a bit. It's going to be okay. Nii-chan gets burned all the time. I'll make it feel better. Let's go inside and we can watch a movie, how about it? We can do that after we get your hands fixed up." Even though he was still young, he was able to hoist your body up and carry you inside, though he was shakily wobbling the entire time. One day he would be big enough to carry you without having trouble. He hoped it wasn't obvious how worried he was about the situation.
He hadn't been prepared for when you would show your quirk for the first time. He had hoped that it would have been something ice-related. Something like Natsuo or Fuyumi. Something like your mother's. A quirk that wouldn't hurt you but he hadn't gotten that lucky. You shared the same fire that your father and Touya had within them. Would yours be as harsh as his own? The flames had been red so that was a good sign.
He was skilled at taking care of burns at this point because of his own quirk. Touya knew he was going to have to tell your father about your quirk appearing but, what if that made him focus on you more and make you train like him? This was still a little young to be showing your quirk. Maybe he could just hide it for some time while he taught you how to control your power. Touya could still remember how painful it had been when his father tried to teach him to hold his fire in. He wouldn't let that happen to you, he couldn't.
He would never let your father hurt you. Not while he was around.
Ages: 9 and 15
It was late in the night when you heard someone walking around when everyone was supposed to be asleep. Who would be up at this time? Shoto would be asleep for sure...Fuyumi too. Perhaps Natsuo had gotten hungry in the middle of the night? It wouldn't be the first time he had snuck around at night to fill his stomach. If you didn't know any better, you would think his quirk was a black hole in his stomach. You would never understand how he could eat as much as he did. Still, a snack didn't sound that bad.
Wrapping yourself up in your blanket, you made your way to the main room of the house where the front door was. Instead of seeing Natsuo as you had assumed, you saw your eldest brother Touya instead. He wasn't in his pajamas like he should have been...As you looked him over, you noticed that he even had his shoes on and was tugging on his leather jacket.
        "Nii-chan?"
Touya's head shot in your direction, a wild look in his eyes. His neck was bandaged up and you weren't sure if it was because of his quirk or if your father had done something to him. Enji was roughest on Touya. Both verbally and physically, Enji always would hurt his eldest son. Touya had been good at hiding it but there were still rare occasions where you saw something you weren't supposed to. Glimpses of the truth.
        "Where are you going?"
"(Y/N)..." His voice was hoarse. Had he been screaming? Was he getting sick? He crouched down, eyes staring at the wood of the floor as you moved closer to him. How would he explain this to you? You were the closest with him out of all of his siblings. He had been hoping to slip out without having to say goodbye to anyone. It would hurt less and it would leave less of a chance that he would be caught.
He could still hear what his mother had told him the day she brought you home as you moved closer. He was supposed to protect you but he couldn't stay there anymore. It was too much. You would be fine with Fuyumi and Natsuo to protect you. Plus, there was Shoto, you weren't the youngest anymore. You could live without him.
"I need to go away for a while, okay?" Slowly, his head moved up to make eye contact with you. He had to keep it level even as you began to tremble and form tears in your own eyes. He had to do this, no matter what. If he stayed tonight, then he would just be reminded tomorrow why he wanted to leave tonight. It was the best opportunity that he would have for some time. Your dad had drunk some alcohol tonight and would be passed out upstairs.
        "Where are you going?"
        "I don't know."
You shuffled over, unable to truly understand what was going on. Touya reached out, pulling you into his arms, and began to run his hand through your hair. Your mother would be so disappointed with what he was doing but he had to be selfish. Sometimes you had to look out for number one. Sure, you would have a crappy childhood but your dad never hurt you. If Touya stayed, he didn't know if he would make it to his next birthday. He had to plan for his own survival.
        "When will you be back?"
        "I don't know."
"Will you be back?" This question was quieter than before. Timider, meeker. He could hear the fear in your voice but knew what he had to do. He knew what the answer was. No, he wouldn't be coming back. He was running away for good this time but how do you tell your kid sister that? Plus, if he did explain, there was a chance that you would tattle.
Without answering, he let go and stood up, pushing you back a bit so there was space between the two of you. A few stray tears were running down your cheeks, had Touya seen it as he turned his back on you and opened the door? He had to leave before he changed his mind.
"I love you!" You whisper-shouted as the door shut behind his retreating figure. Touya was walking away from the life he knew and walking into a new one where he would become an entirely different man.
        Had he heard you?
You knew you should have gone and woken up your father but something kept you from telling. You trusted your big brother and he had gone away before in the past. Maybe this would just be like those times and he would be back within a day or two. That had to be it. If not, where was he going to go? Even after the door was closed, you couldn't move from the entrance, eyes trained on the door as if he would walk in any minute.
This would be the last time you would ever get to hug your brother.
 Ages: 15 and 21
It had taken some convincing to be allowed but somehow you got your father to let you attend UA. Today would be your first day and while you were excited, you were scared at the same time. It had never been easy being the daughter of a top hero. It was hard to know when someone really wanted to be your friend versus those who are just sucking up in hopes of meeting your dad. Would that be worse here since these people actually wanted to be heroes?
A small sigh left your lips as you brushed a stray tear away. Shoto would be coming here in two years. He was already the pride and joy of your father. You had times where you would doubt whether or not he actually loved you or not. He would rather see you locked up in your room than out. Fuyumi said he was just being overprotective but you weren't so sure. You thought it was because he was ashamed of you.
This was to prove him wrong. Was that the wrong reason to become a hero? To prove someone wrong? Maybe...You liked the idea of saving people but the biggest thing pushing you was your father. There was a fire inside of you that yearned to prove him wrong and get his approval. Still, Shoto didn't always have it easier than you. While your father barely paid attention to you, it was rare that he wasn't pushing some training on your younger brother. Ever since your mother...No, you shouldn't think about that. The past would only ever haunt you and cause nightmares. Both the events with your mother and Touya's death. You kept telling yourself that you needed to move forward. Today was a new day.
"Hey, are you lost? Whatcha looking for? Maybe we can help you find it!" A loud and booming voice spoke, laced with nothing but kindness. Quickly turning, you were greeted by a blonde boy and a black-haired boy. The blonde had a huge smile on his face while the black-haired one was trying everything he could to keep you from paying attention to him.
Instinctively, you tugged at your sleeve to hide your arms even more. People always would look at you weird if they noticed the scars covering your arms. They would judge you, just like everyone does. For once, you wanted someone to be willing to get to know the real you and not assume things because of your appearance and your father's reputation. Even still, the blonde seemed to radiate sunshine and you almost changed your mind on how they would react. Almost.
"Oh!" With a small sniffle, you pointed quickly at the main building of UA, "I'm looking for 1-A. This is my first year going here and I guess I'm just a bit nervous. I don't know anyone who is going here so...It's just been one of those days, you know?"
"Really?! We both are going to 1-A too! We are gonna be in the same class!" The blonde wrapped an arm around his shy partner, pulling him into the conversation whether he wanted to be a part of it or not, "Why don't we walk there together? We'd be happy to be your new friends if you want! The more friends, the better, right Tama-chan?"
        The black-haired boy didn't respond.
This would be your first time ever meeting your two future best friends. Mirio and Tamaki would become almost as close as family to you. How many nights would you end up staying at Mirio's just to stay away from home? Late night walks with Tamaki because you couldn't sleep due to your nightmares?
Dabi was making his own friends on the streets, or whatever you could call friends. He was filled with rage and a fire that had only grown since he had left home. He would see clips of his father saving the day and reporters gushing over him. If they knew the truth, they wouldn't be acting like that. Someone just needed to prove it to them.
And Endeavor? He deserved to pay for everything he had done to Dabi. He needed to hurt as much as he made Dabi hurt. The older boy knew he wouldn't be able to do that alone and began to make allies in the underground areas of the city. Drug dealers and gang members. He would climb the ladder and become a true villain but everyone had to start somewhere. He would need help to get his revenge and he was okay with playing the long-con.
Ages: 17 and 23
Civilians were running in a panicked state as fire surrounded them. Screams were all you could hear save for the blood pumping in your ears. As you searched the crowd for a hero, you were greeted with the sight that you were terrified of. There were no heroes in the area. Not yet. They would be here in less than fifteen minutes but you knew how crucial that time could be.
        Fifteen minutes.
As everyone around you ran from the flames, you ran into them. The flames licked at your skin as you entered the chaos but your skin allowed it to glance off of you. You had grown used to the feeling of being burnt due to your own quirk. Deep red scars that followed the patterns of your veins littered your body due to the fire inside of you. In certain lights, your scars could even come out to be slightly purple in color.
You had been going to UA for three years now and this was the exact situation you were being trained for. It was this pulling inside of you that lead you towards the danger that made you a real hero. You were a real hero. You wanted to be a real hero...When would a real hero get here?
"Oh, do we have someone playing a hero here? A schoolgirl come to save the day from the big, bad villain?" Black boots crunched against the gravel of the road, each step as casual as the last as he stalked closer. Burned flesh greeted your eyes as Dabi emerged from the flames. You knew it was him, the blue flames made it obvious. You had seen video footage from the training camp. This was a specific type of fire. This was Hellfire.
"You can't do this!" Your hands clenched into fists, veins burning as your emotions began to run wild. You were terrified. This would be the first time you faced a villain by yourself without active-backup on the way. Interning at your father's agency could have its perks but it also meant you never got dangerous tasks. Even with Shoto just starting, your father took him on more hero-like outings. He was playing favorites and it hurt. Did he not think you could be a hero? Were you too weak in his eyes?
"Aw, and why not, little Matchstick?" A devilish grin spread over the burnt face, stables keeping the two pieces together as one, "Whose going to stop me? You?"
"Yes!" The quiver in your voice alerted to how scared you actually were. Just remember Mirio and Tamaki. Remember how brave they were. You wanted to be just like them and this was the perfect time to do that. They wouldn't run when people were in danger. Even if they were scared, they would go running towards the danger because they were true heroes. Mirio had saved Eri and Tamaki had protected Kirishima more times than you could count. Your heart was telling you to run as it pumped quickly but your feet were planted as if held by concrete. You wanted to be like them.
You wanted to be like your dad.
"What do you even want?" You continued, hoping to distract the man just long enough for the heroes to make their way here. Maybe Hawks would be the first to arrive. He did have his wings. Perhaps your father could use his flames as he had when fighting the nomu. It didn't matter who the hero was as long as they got there as fast as possible. You would even take Mount Lady, a hero who you had a hard time dealing with.
"What do I want? I want what every man wants!" His arms extended as his trenchcoat billowed around him, a crazed look on his face. Fire surrounded the two of you, catching anything that it could on fire.  You could see why the bottom was as tattered as it was as the fire singed the fabric, but if Dabi cared, he didn't show it.
The man walked closer to you but you kept yourself in a defensive position. You couldn't run, you could end up leading him right to the majority of panicked citizens who were trying to evacuate. The best course of action, even if it meant you could end up getting hurt, was to stay right where you were. You wanted to be a hero. You were a hero! No matter how your father acted, you were a hero. How many nights had you stayed up late, practicing to control your quirk for moments like this? All you really wanted was for your father to finally see how strong you could be.
        Ten minutes.
Before you knew what was happening, you felt your back hit a hard chest and a hand much larger than your own wrap around your neck. No matter how you struggled, Dabi kept you from escaping with the force he was pressing against your neck. The other hand gripped your chin, forcing you to look up at your assailant.  There was a crazed look in his eyes that were as blue as his flames. It made tears well up in your eyes from fear.
The edges of your vision were beginning to blur with the lack of oxygen. Just before you felt your legs begin to give out, the man loosened his grip just enough for you to gasp at the air around you. Coughs filled the air as you dealt with the lack of oxygen as well as smoke that was staining anything it could.
"Revenge. That's what I want." His lips whispered next to your ear, causing a chill to run up your spine. This wouldn't be the first time a villain wanted revenge and it wouldn't be the last time. You used all the force you could muster and kicked the villain in the shin.
This seemed to work as he let you go, but it wasn't for long. He snatched your wrists in one hand while the other went back to its place on your neck. This time he only used enough force to keep you from breathing comfortably. This was starting to look worse and worse for you with each passing moment. Still, you just had to remember heroes were on the way. They would save you.
"And you, my Little Matchstick, are perfect for my plan."
"Let me go!" Your shrill voice screamed as you felt the flames burst around your wrists, using your own quirk now. A grunt of pain and some mumbled cursing escaped Dabi but instead of losing his grip, you felt a searing pain spread over your own skin. The pain caused you to lose concentration of your quirk, all too focused on the blue flames that the man emitted from his hands. For a split moment, the two of your flames seemed to dance around each other and turn the light a purple like Dabi's scars.
The hand at your wrists lit up like a beacon as Dabi's quirk began to come out. Screams would have escaped your lips if not for the hand constricting your breathing which was now burning your neck as well. All you could see was white as the worst pain you had ever felt kept you writhing. The flames began to creep down your arm, spreading towards your body. The hand on your neck reminded you more of an iron as there were no actual flames appearing. Some sick version of a human cattle prod. His hand print would be scarred over your neck, a permanent reminder of this night.
The next thing you could remember, you were slumped on the ground like dirty laundry. The world around you was spinning. It was beginning to darken in a mixture of you losing consciousness and smoke as the seconds ticked by. Tears streamed down your face from the pain and ash filling the air. A horrid smell wafted around and you feared that was coming from you.
"Come now, the heroes aren't going to save you. They always break their promises, just like villains. Hell, I couldn't tell you how many promises I've broken in this day alone! Heros and villains are one and the same when it comes down to it! The only difference is that villains are seen as a disgrace while heroes are praised for doing publicity stunts!"
        Five minutes.
Dabi's boot came crashing down on your throat, pushing as hard as he could. You could feel the heat of life begin to diminish with each passing moment you lacked oxygen. Shouts in the distance could be heard, the heroes were almost here. Yet, they wouldn't be here soon enough. They wouldn't be here to save you. Was this really how you were going to die?
One particular loud shout registered as your father and for once, you felt grateful that he was around. He didn't even know you were here, you hadn't told him where you had gone after school. Would he be moving faster if he knew you were there? If anyone could save you, it would be him. You wanted to feel his arms wrap around you, holding you and making you feel safe one more time. He could save you.
Or at least he could be here as you died.
"Poor Little Todoroki, it seems like you are going to just miss out on the fun." The rest of the world was blurring and disappearing into the growing darkness, leaving the fire illuminated Dabi as the only thing visible.
With a smirk illuminated by the sharp blue flames, you stared up at the eyes that would be the last thing you would ever see. They were eyes that seemed so familiar to you. They were...your father's eyes. No, not your father's. That wouldn't make sense, you weren't hallucinating. No, they were eyes filled with the flames you had only seen in two people before. These were the eyes of the one who had cared for you the most once upon a time. How had it come to this? How could it be true? He wouldn't hurt you but as you lay dying at his feet, you knew there was no denying it.
"Dad isn't going to like this, now is he?"
        They were Touya's.

@friedsewerrat said: It was one day when Natsuo returned home late that he'd find a certain someone just sitting on his bed, waiting for him. Dabi wasn't dressed in his usual villain getup, just a simple black hoodie and sweatpants for the college kid look, but there was only one person in all of Japan with snowwhite hair and scarring such as his. " Don't make a scene. Anyone else finds out I'm here then I'm leaving. " And if Natsuo did well then, Dabi had no problem setting the entire building on fire to escape....
semi-prompted ask // always accepting
Natsuo stopped in the doorway to his bedroom, frozen to the spot. He wasn’t sure if the figure that was sitting on his bed was actually there or not. He was under so much stress trying to balance his school work and job on top of his family obligations. It felt almost like a dream to see the man he’d been dying to see again for the past decade just appear out of nowhere in his room.
He snapped out of his stupor when Dabi spoke and he stumbled forward a few steps, reaching out his hand as if he could stop the other man from doing anything by his will alone.
Tumblr media
“No- Don’t- I’m not- ” His words tripped over themselves and he stopped to take a breath and calm himself before he tried again. “I- I won’t say anything, I promise. So, please...don’t leave. Touya-nii.”

How about a line from 'Fire and Ice' poem by Robert Frost? Seems on brand for the Todoroki family.
DAMN ANON, COME FOR MY THROAT WITH THEM TODOFAM FEELS. Full poem linked below
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Fic Title: I think I know enough of hate
Natuso hates his father’s house.  Hates walking past his brother’s shrine, and feeling guilt like spikes of ice in his guts.  Hates knowing that the last thing he ever said to Touya was a demand for him to keep going, keep fighting, when it was so clear Touya had nothing left to give.
Natsuo’s whole world had ended in fire barely a day later, and he can remember the screams and the smoke stinging his eyes like they’d happened yesterday.  The smell lingers, and the sound echoes in the empty halls of his father’s house.
He hates his father for what he did to their family.  And if that makes him less forgiving or less apathetic than his siblings?  If that gets him compared to villains by his father?
So be it.
Natsuo is only stopping by to pick up Fuyumi’s study plan that she’d forgotten, anyway. And fortunately, old flame face is down south helping Hawks with a case in Fukuoka.
Doesn’t stop Natsuo from feeling like his steps are being haunted with every step on the cold hardwood floors.
There’s no evidence of the trauma the house had witnessed.  The wall had been replastered where Touya’s back had been slammed into it.  The scattered glass from the broken vase Rei had knocked over as she fell had been long swept up.  Blood that had once stained the tatami mats of the training room had long since been removed.
Natsuo’s heart burns in his chest.  All that horror, erased from the records.  A whole world ended, and no one would ever know.  No one would ever fucking know.
He pauses outside Touya’s old room, Fuyumi’s study plan tucked up under his arm.  Before he can think about it too hard, he’s sliding back the panel and entering, not even hesitating at the entry.
It hasn’t changed over the years.  Still has the neat little photo arranged in the center of incense and flowers and little nik naks his brother had once cared for.  Children’s toys and mementos that had kept Touya company in his darkest nights, when every member of his family had turned their backs on him.
Natsuo gazes into the miserable, deadened eyes of his brother, who was now the youngest of the Todoroki children.  Immortally young, and eternally gone.  Purged from the world in a rush of flames so hot there hadn’t been anything left of him.
Fingers shaking, Natsuo picks up the picture. He’s not surprised when ice blossoms across the glass.  He’d never had much control over his quirk, after all.
I miss you, Touya-nii, he thinks down at the boy who’d broken all alone.  If I could bring you back, if I could do anything

Those blue eyes burn into his, almost asking, why can’t you?
Heart hammering, Natsuo flashes back to every instance where Fuyumi had talked him down.  Every moment where he’d convinced himself that taking on their father wasn’t worth risking Shouto’s newfound dream.  Every time he’d visited his mother and thought, I can’t drag her back into this.
Why can’t you?
Because it’s scary.  Because there’s no evidence left.  Because I hate him so goddamn much and I’ll never forgive the world if they let him off.
“Touya-nii, I don’t know what to do,” he whispers. “No lawyer will ever take the little scraps I have.  And we already know the Commission has his back - they’ve covered up so much of the damage his fires have done.  They covered up you.”
An entire world, ended in fire. Ice webs across Touya’s lower jaw, obscuring his slight frown.
It gets Natsuo thinking.  Fire was offensive.  It burned and raged and left nothing but ashes - no evidence of what had been there before.
But ice.  Ice preserved.  It crept in, killing slowly.  Filled in the cracks and then expanded, breaking foundations that had stood for thousands of years.
Fire was hate.  Ice
 Ice was revenge.
I think I know enough of hate.
Natsuo tucks the photo into his pocket and exits the room, a new determination seeping into his bones, and a frigid wind stirring in his wake.
The next world ends in ice.

Fuyumi: Thank you so much for coming even though you’re busy! Nice to meet you, thanks for watching Shouto! I’m his older sister Fuyumi!
Fuyumi: Sorry for this all of the sudden! I wanted you guys to come.
Bakugo: Why

Midoriya: I’m happy! It’s rare that I get invited to a friend’s house!
Shouto: So Natsu-nii is here too? I saw his shoes.
Fuyumi: I wanted to hear about you and the others as a family!

Fuyumi: If there’s anything you don’t like, don’t worry about it!
Midoriya: Everything is super delicious!  This fried chicken has really absorbed the flavor but the coating is still crispy and you can feel it on your tongue how—
Fuyumi: I’m glad!
Bakugo: You’re even analyzing your food, stop! You talking is making the mapo tofu taste bad!
Natsuo: Of course it’s good. Ever since our assistant hurt their back and retired, Fuyumi has always cooked everything herself.

Chapter Six of Why Does Fire Burn? Arms To Hold You
We’re back. It’s here. I can’t spell or have proper grammar for anything, but hey, I have a great personality. Feel free to messages me or leave, thoughts, or ask questions. And now guys, gals and nonbinary pals, enjoy
It was hot. Too hot. It felt like someone had wrapped Shoto in a blanket, put him the oven, and left him there with no way out. His skin felt like it was going to melt off. Like the air itself was going to burst into flames.
Next to that, Shoto's limbs felt like lead, too heavy to even be a part of his body. His stomach felt queasy and too empty. There was the taste of bile and iron in his mouth, and it was so strong he wanted to pass out.
Then he looked up, and he got scared. He saw himself much younger, maybe four or five years old. He was on the ground crying and holding his stomach.
"Get up."
Shoto froze. He knew that voice. He tried so hard to suppress it, to push it to the back of his memory. But here it was as cold and evil as ever.
The younger version of himself looked up meekly. A tall, awful shadow of a monster stood in front of both Shoto and little Shoto. His eyes burned into the depths of Shoto's soul and made him feel small.
"Get up!" the voice braked again. Little Shoto looked down back and let out a sob.
"Stop this, please!" a faint voice cried. Shoto's breath caught in his throat as his mother came and rushed to the side of his younger self. She looked down at the small boy, tears filling her eyes. She looked up to the monster.
"Stop, please," she begged, standing up.
"Mom," Shoto whispered, "Don't, please."
"Get out of my way, woman!" the monster growled. Raising his hand and hitting Shoto's mother across the room. When she tried to get up, the beast grabbed her by her hair and threw her down again.
"No!" Shoto yelled, "Leave her alone!"
He held out his right head, planning on making an ice wall to keep his mother from the shadowy monster. But no ice came from his hand, only flames.
Shoto's eyes grew in terror at what he was seeing. There was no ice. No cold. Only fire and heat.
The scene melted away, and Shoto was surrounded by towering red flames in a black void.
"No," Shoto whispered, feeling small and helpless, "This isn't me. This isn't who I am. This isn't what I choose!"
The more scared and angrier, Shoto grew, the higher the flames got. There were whispering and mutters, he couldn't make out what they were saying. They grew louder and louder, and soon it became so loud that Shoto couldn't think. He tried to make ice, so some of the unbreakable heart would go away, but all that came was fire.
Shoto closed his eyes and buried his hands in his hair.
"Go away," he said, "Just go the hell away!"
Then the noise and the heat was gone, and everything was replaced by freezing cold, too cold even for him. Shoto opened his eyes to see he was in a snow-covered woods. It was horrible quiet, and nothing moved, save for the snowflakes falling to the ground. Then he heard the quiet sniffs.
Shoto turned around and saw another younger version of himself. He was dressed in pale blue shorts and a white baggy shirt. His hands looked like they had dried smudges of blood on them. There were bandages over his left eye, and his head was hung down, looking at his feet. Then the younger Shoto looked up to the older Shoto.
"You ran?" the younger asked, his voice low, "You ran away?"
"Yes," Shoto said, his voice raspy and sore.
The little version of him looked up. Tears were falling down his face. Shoto's throat tightened.
"You were so stupid," little Shoto said, in a voice that made the older of the two tenses, "So stupid to think you could run."
"I-"
"Did you think you could just run away, that you could get away from him?"
"It was-"
"It was what?"
"It was the only way to make it stop," Shoto said.
"Don't you get it?!" the short of the two yelled, "You are never going to get away from him! It will never stop!"
"You don't-"
"Touya-nii can't protect you," the boy with a bandage over his eye said, "Natsu-nii can't either, and neither can Fuyumi-nee."
"Stop talking," Shoto whispered, feeling sick, "Yes, they can, they have before."
"Not from him. They could never protect you from him."
"Stop," Shoto pleaded, "Stop. Why are you doing this?"
"Because," the younger version of him growled, "You act like you're free. You've forgotten how life really works.
"Run from him, hide from him, you'll never get rid of him. He is always there. His mark is there on your face. Nothing is stopping you from becoming him."
Just then, the world turned black and spun round and round. It was ungodly hot again like Shoto was standing in hell.
Nothing is stopping you from becoming him.
Then was a mirror in front of Shoto, and when he looked into it, he saw himself, with crimson hair and matching turquoise eyes. He looked just. Like. Him.

Dabi was woken up by the sound of Shoto screaming. The sound made his eyes snap open, his heart stopped, causing him to jump out of bed and rush to the youngest Yukitomo's room. In his hands, he was clutching his phone and headphones. Fuyumi and Natsuo were right behind him, all three of them calling out to their younger brother.
When Dabi got to Shoto's room, it was covered in frost, and Shoto himself was covered in sweat, kicking and screaming, seeming to still be asleep. Shoto was having a night terror.
The black-haired man moved over to Shoto and tried to grab him. He got kicked and scratched a couple times, but Dabi didn't give a fuck about that. He grabbed Shoto by his shoulders and shook as hard as he dared.
"Shoto! Shoto, wake up!" he yelled.
"Shoto!" Fuyumi cried, grabbing one of her younger brother's flaring arms. Shoto did wake, but the tears were running down his face, and he looked scared and confused about where he was. Dabi sighed in relief and pulled Shoto closer to his chest. Shoto let out a small sob that he tried to suppress, and held the front of Dabi's shirt so tightly, it almost ripped.
Fuyumi opened up Dabi's phone, plugged in the headphones, and handed them to Dabi. The oldest Yukitomo sibling began playing the playing list and put the headphones on Shoto's ears. The action seemed to surprise Shoto, even though it wasn't a new thing. However, the music seemed to calm him down.
Dabi gently hugged his youngest brother, Fuyumi, did too, as well as stroking his hair the way their mother used to. Natsuo placed his hand carefully on Shoto's shoulder but soon joined the group hug. It was the ritual that they did every time Shoto had a nightmare. They all sorta held, him, and waited for him to calm down. He used to get them a lot when he was little, but as he grew older, they became less frequent.
Dabi found that music seemed to help a bit. Their mother used to sing to them when they had bad dreams as children. None of them sang so, Dabi made a playlist of songs Shoto loved when he was little. Shoto had picked them all out when he was six, and they were the calmest songs from Dabi's preferred tased in throwbacks. Songs by Owl City, Train, and others were all there. They were gentler upbeat songs that Shoto begged his brother to play when he had a bad dream.
Dabi could faintly hear Fireflies change to Play that song, to Hey Soul Sister. Once Shoto's grip on his shirt lessened, and Shoto stopped crying, Dabi scooped him up, and the four siblings went to his room.
A part of him thought that it wasn't necessary, that Shoto was 15, that he didn't need to be cared for like this, and if he needed something else to help calm him down, he would ask. But still, all four of the Yukitomo sibling piled into Dabi's Queen size bed, that most definitely shouldn't have held all of them.
Fuyumi laid on the left side, Shoto leaned into her hold more. Dabi got on the right side, and so did Natsu pressing the four of them extremely close together. When they were much younger, the four siblings was share one big bed (or mat) along all the time, but they grew out of it. However, every now and then, they would either curl up together on the living room floor or in Dabi's bed, with the secure feeling that they were all right next to each other as they drifted off to sleep.
Right before he closed his eyes, Dabi looked at Shoto fasted asleep. Hopefully, Shoto's nightmares would stop, and he wouldn’t need Dabi to take care of him like this, but until then, Dabi was going to make sure Shoto always had what he needed. Even if that was crawling into his bed.

"What time are you going to be back?" Fuyumi asked him thru the phone.
Dabi sighed and rolled his eyes, "11:30 at the latest."
"And if you're not back by then I'm gonna-"
"Yumi, for fuck's sake, I'm a grown-ass man, not ten. I'll be fine."
"You sure?" his sister asked him again.
"Yes, I am," he said. The speaker on the train turned on, and he said, "I'm at my stop. I'll talk to you when I get home tonight. Love you."
"Love you too. Have a good day," Fuyumi said before he hung up. When Dabi go out of the station, it was around 7:00. He had about two hours until he had to get to the record store. He swung by the flower shop and got some white roses before finally making it to the hospital.
It was always cold inside the building, and Dabi hated it. Places like this felt too clean and too bare for his liking. Why Natsuo wanted to work in a place similar to this, he would never understand.
Dabi got up to the front desk, and the woman there smiled at him.
"Yukitomo," she said, flashing, Dabi a blinding white smile, "How are you?"
"I'm fine," he said, "Is she-?"
"She's in her room," the receptionist said, "She just got done with her therapy session, so you can just head on up."
"Okay," he said, "Thank you."
One short elevator ride later, Dabi was in front of the familiar white and gray door. He knocked on it twice, and a voice from the inside called, "Come in."
Dabi pushed the door open slowly and saw his mother sitting on her bed, with her hands in her lap. When she saw it was him, a beautiful smile broke across her face, and she jumped up to hug him.
"Touya," she said happily as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Hey Mom," he said, breaking into a smile of his own. Dabi took a moment to savor his mother's embrace. It felt like years since he had been with her even if he saw her last week. When she let him go, he handed her the flowers, "They were all out of your favorite so
"
"They're lovely, sweetheart," she said, taking time to admire them before placing them on her bedside table. She had Dabi sit down on the bed as he told her everything that happened since the last time he saw her. His mother always listen intently, taking time to soak up all the information she was given
"The Sports Festival is in a few days," Dabi said after his mother told him about how she had been.
"Oh," his mom said, nodding her head, "Has Shoto been getting ready for it?"
"Like crazy," Dabi said, "He's always out with his friends' training all the time. He's doing really good, Mom."
"That's wonderful," she said.
"Are you allowed to watch something like that?" he asked her.
"No," she answered, shaking her head, "not normally, but maybe I can ask the doctors if I could see it this year."
They were quiet for a minute, "Mom, I can try to get the others to come more if you want," Dabi said, his mind tracing back to the lacked present of his siblings, and how happy they would make his mother. It didn't make him mad, but he did like to see his mother happy. Plus, he knew his siblings missed her too.
"Touya," his mom said in her, well, mom voice, "I've told you, your siblings will come when they can. Fuyumi busy with work, and Shoto and Natsuo are still and school."
"They want to see you thought," Dabi argued, "I could-"
"Touya," his mother said sharply, "I don't want to rush them."
Dabi opened his mouth, but then shut it, knowing he had no reason to argue with his mom. He didn't like disagreeing with her. She took it upon herself to change the topic, "So, you have that big date tonight, don't you?"
"Yeah," Dabi said, blushed a little because it was his mom.
"You excited?" she said, a smile spreading across her face again.
"I guess I am," he admitted.
"Good," she said, "I hope it goes well."
"Me too," he said. Dabi checked his watch. The time made him let out a sigh and say, "I gotta go, Mom."
"All right," she said, standing up with him. Dabi hugged his mom aging, trying to draw it out as long as he could. She let him go, told Dabi that she loved him, and then Dabi walked out the door, into the hall. He sighed and leaned against the wall.
He loved visiting his mom. He loved it more than most things. But seeing her here in this place, a place that was so unwelcoming, it made him want to scream or burn everything down.
Dabi shook himself. Now wasn't the time to think about that. Right now, he had to get to work.
XXX
It was 6:30 when Dabi closed the parlor and began to get ready for his date. He wasn't doing much, just black jeans, a white shirt, and a black bomber jacket. That was good enough for a date, right?
Dabi splashed some cold water over his face. He felt kinda nervous. He didn't know why. He wasn't even sure he really liked the Hawks that much. Hell, he didn't even know Hawks' real name.
"Buck up, Dabi," he told himself, before drying the water off his face and hands before heading back out into the central area of the parlor. When he got out of there, he saw Hawks waiting outside the glass doors of the parlor. The winged hero was in dark jeans and a charcoal color t-shirt, and had the right amount of bracelets and watch on his arms, just like the first time he saw him.
Dabi opened the door. "Can I come in?" the winged hero asked, jokingly.
"Do what you want," Dabi said, holding the door open wider, and Hawks walked inside.
"So I was thinking-"
"Was that hard?"
"You are so mean!" the ash-blond said.
"It's a gift," Dabi said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Hawks huffed and went on, "Anyway, I was thinking maybe before we go to what is going to be the greatest date of your life, you could maybe help me pick out my next tattoo."
"If you want," Dabi said, "For fuck's sake, don't look so happy. We're picking how long I get to stab you with a needle repeatedly."
"Hey, I can handle a little pain," the shorter man said.
"You last time in here says otherwise."
"Rude."
Dabi chuckled to himself as he pulled out a couple design books and handed them to Hawks as the two flopped down on the couch and began flipping through them.
"So, where do you want the next one?" Dabi asked.
"I thought I would get in on my wrist," Hawks said, not looking away from the pages.
"You know that going to hurt like a bitch, right?"
"I'll be fine," Hawks said. They were quiet for a few minutes, looking through the books in silence, pointing out a design every so often. Then Hawks said, "Hey, what about this one?"
Dabi looked over to see what the other man was talking about. It was a phoenix design, wings spread out and flames coming from them. It wasn't super detailed but still a little introquit.
"I can do that," Dabi said, leaning forward a bit to look at it better. They talked a bit about a time to do the tattoo, and then the two men grabbed their jackets and went out the door.
XXX
"So, where are we going?" Dabi asked as they walked down the sidewalk in the downtown area of the city.
"You'll see," Hawks said, turning to look at him, striking a bit.
"Yeah, leaving me in the dark is really fucking whimsical," Dabi said.
"It's called a surprise," Hawks said, putting his hands on his hips.
"For all, I know you kidnapping me and dragging me to an abandoned warehouse."
"What do you take me for?"
"Hey, I wouldn't put it past you to have a dark side, birdie."
Hawks rolled his eyes and shook his head. After walking a little bit more, they finally arrived. It was a fusion join, a place that would typically be above Dabi's pay grade if he was by himself.
"This place good with you?' Hawks asked.
"Yeah," Dabi said, "It's fine."
Hawks held the door open for the raven-haired man, and two walked in. They were seated in a corner booth, so as not to draw attention to themselves. They both just got the night’s special, and when the waitress left them began talking.
"So tell me about yourself," Hawks said, leaning forward a bit, with his forearms on the table.
"What about me?" Dabi asked.
"I don't know just stuff," the ash-blond said, "I'll tell you stuff about me."
"I know, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't stop."
"Mean."
"What do you want to know?"
"I don't know," Hawks said, resting his chin on his palm, "Favorite color?"
"You crossing the line there a bit, aren't you?" Dabi teased. Hawks laughed a little, "But really, what is it?"
Dabi looked down at his plan for a second before saying, "Black or blue."
"Cool," Hawks said, "Mine red and rusten."
"Hmm."
"So tattooing, how didja get into that?" Hawks asked.
"When I was younger, I got a couple," Dabi started, "Then a friend of mine taught me how to do it myself."
Hawks nodded.
"How'd you get into hero work?" Dabi asked, leaning back, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Oh," Hawks said, his whole mood changing a bit, "Well, um, when I was younger, there was an incident. I was able to help, and some people saw me. The Heroes Commission, have you heard of them?"
Dabi felt his stomach turn a little, even though nothing had happened. He nodded, he had heard of the commission.
"Well," Hawks went, "They saw me and offered me a deal, and well, one thing leads to another, and
"
"Let me guess, they offered your family some big cash grab, and they trained you and all that garbage?" Dabi said.
"How do you-?"
"I knew some people," Dabi said, looking to the side.
"Yeah, well, that kinda what happened," Hawks said dryly.
"Do you like your job, though?"
"Well, yeah," Hawks said, "Sometimes I wish I just wasn't the number three hero. It gets tiring."
"I can understand that," Dabi said, resting his arms on the tabletop, hunching forward a bit.
"Anyway," Hawks said, wanting to change the topic, "Tell me more about you. Tell me about your siblings."
"Sure," Dabi answered, "They suck."
"Woah," Hawks said, laughing a little, "Kinda mean, don't you think?"
"They're awful," Dabis said, joking of course but still.
"Come on, they can't be that bad. Your sister seemed nice the other night."
"Yeah, and she's also a real nag."
"Come on, what about your brothers? You said you had two of them."
"Don't get me started. Natsuo, the older one, once thought it was a good idea to walk down the stairs of our apartment building in roller skates, spoiler warning, that didn't end well. Sprang his fucking ankle. And the younger one, Shoto, has given me more heart attacks than anyone has before. I think I actually have gone into cardiac arrest because of him. And that's not even scratching the surface."
"So, enlighten me," Hawks said, a smirk growing across his face.
"Where to begin?"
XXX
"I feel like you know too much about me now," Dabi said as they walked down the sidewalk after dinner.
"Eh, I don't mind really," Hawks said, bumping his shoulder against Dabi's. The raven man rolled his eyes a bit but was slightly amused.
"So, what do you wanna do now?" Hawks asked.
"You don't have a plan?" Dabi asked.
"I just wanna see what you wanna do."
"Vandalism," Dabi said.
"Very funny," Hawks said.
"You think I am kidding."
"I really hope you are," the ash-blond said, "Can you even imagine what the story would be if we got caught.
"If you do it right, you don't get caught," Dabi said.
"We're not vandalizing," Hawks said.
"You're no fun," Dabi said, crossing his arms over his chest. Hawks gave Dabi a 'help please, you're killing me' look.
"Well, I might settle for grabbing a few boxes of Pocky and sitting on the couch and watching a movie."
"I believe I can make that happen," Hawks said, giving Dabi a smile.
Just then Hawks phone began to ring. The two stopped walking, and the hero groaned and said, "I need to take this."
He answered the call, and Dabi watched as the ash blond's face fell. Hawks had his lips pursed and his eyes looking up to the sky in annoyance. Finally, Hawks closed his eyes and sighed out his nose.
"I will be there in forty minutes," Hawks said, trying hard not to growl. Hawks hung up the phone and looked at Dabi.
"I'm guessing you gotta go," Dabi said.
"Yeah," Hawks, "I'm sorry."
"It's fine."
"Can I at least walk you home?"
"Do what you want," Dabi said, beginning to walk.
When they got back to the apartment, the two men waited outside the door.
"So," Hawks said, with his hands in his pockets, "I had a good time tonight."
"You had me talk about my siblings," Dabi said, "How's that enjoyable?"
"You are just impossible, aren't you?"
"I try."
Dabi was about to say something else; however, the words never left his mouth because then Hawks pulled on Dabi's shoulder, lower him enough to kiss him on the cheek.
"Um, call me sometime?" Hawks said, jumping up on the metal railing still facing Dabi.
Dabi shrugged and leaned back against the door with his arms crossed.
"Maybe."
"Okay then," Hawks said, "See you."
And with that, Hawks leaned back and fell off the railing towards the ground. Of course, his wings caught him, and Dabi watched the hero fly off into the night.
"Crazy bird," Dabi whispered to himself, in an almost dreamy voice. He then turned around and went inside.
After closing the door, Dabi leaned back against it again. All the lights were off, and Dabi could see the tv on. Once he took his shoes and jacket off, he walked in to see Fuyumi draping a blanket over Natsuo, who was snoring away.
"Hey," he said.
Fuyumi gasped in surprise and turned around to look at him.
"Well, you're home sooner than I thought you be," she said.
"Yeah, something came up, and he had to leave."
"Did you have fun?' she asked.
"Guess so."
"You wanna give me details?"
"Nah, I think I'll just keep to myself."
"Oh, come on!" Fuyumi cried, "Tell me."
"Nope."
"Mean."
"Nag."
The two siblings stared at each other for a second and then began laughing.
"Do you like him?" Fuyumi asked, turning to shut off the TV.
"Eh," Dabi said, looking to the side.
"Maybe you should invite him to the Sports Festival party we're gonna have at the parlor," Fuyumi suggested, as they walked to their rooms.
"Maybe," Dabi said.
"Well, in any case, goodnight."
"Night, Yumi."

Sunlight streaming into threw the curtains is what woke Iroh up. He stared at the ceiling for about a minute before sitting and swinging his legs off the bed. The man quickly made his bed, got dressed, and washed his face before heading to the kitchen.
Iroh usually loved morning, but not today. Today was going to be extended. Trials were long and tedious, Iroh knew that. But a prosecution between his brother and sister over the custody of his niece and nephew, he couldn't think of anything worse.
Akito and Haru were staying with him until the whole event was over. If Kaede were here, she'd try and joke it was because he was the middle child. Always in between arguments.
An argument so bad that it puts his little sister in the hospital.
Iroh shook his head. It wasn't the time for that. Right now, he had to feed his niece and nephew.
Iroh was half way threw with breakfast when Akito cam padding out from his room, already dressed for the day. He had his journal with him and is pens and pencils, which Akito always carried around for writing.
"Good morning," Iroh said, setting a cup of tea in front of Akito.
"Is going to be that good?" the boy asked.
"Hey, now, don't be like that," Iroh said, placing the food on the plates, "You can't say a day's been bad till you've been through it."
Akito quietly grumbled to himself. Iroh could tell the boy was going to be in a bad mood, and there was nothing he could do to change that. It sorta reminds him of his own son. Of course, it didn't go unnoticed that Akito didn't give thanks before eating. If it was any other day, Iroh might have said something, but today he'd let it slide.
It wasn't long before Haru came bouncing out of her room, also fully dressed.
"Uncle Iroh," I said, pulling on his pant leg, "Can you do my hair? Pretty, pretty, please?"
"Of course," Iroh said, picking Haru up and setting her in a chair and placing her breakfast in front of her. Haru ate her breakfast happily as Iroh braided two neat braids into her hair.
"Uncle Iroh?" Haru asked, holding up her cup, asking for more tea.
"Yes?"
"Why aren't we going to school today?" she asked.
"Because we have to go to the trail," Akito said, putting his plate and utensils in the dishwasher.
"Do we really have to go to that?" Haru asked, looking up at her uncle with big puppy dog eyes.
"I'm afraid so," Iroh said, handing Haru her tea.
"But why?" she asked.
Iroh sighed and tried to rack his brain for a way to give Harue an answer that would make sense to her.
"Because Dad’s a bastard!" Akito yelled before storming off to his room. It was so unusual for Akito, who was usually well mannered and tempered, to act out like that it almost made Iroh even more worried.
Iroh wanted to call out to him, but Haru stopped him.
"That's what Aunti Kosuke keeps saying," Haru whispered.
Iroh looked at his niece. Haru lifted her arms up, silently asking to be picked up. Iroh of cures gave in and picked her up.
"Try and understand, little one," Iroh said, "Your aunt and brother are upset. Anger can make people say mean things, even if they don't mean it."
"So, Nii-chan and Auntie don't mean it?" she asked.
"Well, I don't know about, but Akito," Iroh admitted, "But your Aunt Kosuke is just like your father. Big blustery tempers."
"Your not like that thought."
"You are very right, my dear," Iroh said, "But don't be fooled. I can very quickly turn into an angry dragon!" he said, tossing Haru in the air and catching her again, making the small girl giggle.
"No, you can't," Haru laughed.
"Oh, ho, ho, but I can. Whenever anyone insults my tea."
"But you make the best tea!" Haru exclaimed.
"I know!"
Haru laughed again and put both her hands on Iroh’s cheeks. She then hugged her uncle by wrapping her little arms around his neck.
"Thanks for taking care of us," Haru said.
"You don't need to thank me for that," Iroh said. Haru was quiet for a minute.
"I just want this to be over," she said, burying her face into his neck.
Iroh sighed and closed his eyes, "Me too."

"Eat up," Fuyumi said, placing Shoto's breakfast in front of him.
"Thanks," Shoto said before he began scarfing now his food.
"Don't choke," Dabi said, not looking up from his phone.
"Jeez, Shoto, you're eating faster than Natsu normally does," Fuyumi said.
"I don't think anyone can do that," Shoto said with a mouth full of eggs and rice.
"You nervous?" Dabi asked, looking at his little brother.
Shoto shrugged and kept eating. Once he was finished, the white-haired teen ran to his room to get dressed. He saw a text from Shiki that read:
Kickass Ice Princess!
Shoto smiled as he walked back out to the hallway.
"Good luck," Fuyumi said, give him a tight hug.
"I wanna see you kill a kid out there today," Dabi said, ruffling Shoto's hair getting hit from the teen in question. Fuyumi also shot him a sharp glare.
"Dabi will pick you up afterward and take you to the parlor, alright?" Fuyumi asked.
"Yeah, got it."
"Good luck," Dabi called as Shoto walked out the door.
When Shoto got to the station, he found Yaoyorozu and Yoarashi waiting from him.
"Hey," he said, as the three of them got on the train.
"You ready for today?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"Believe so," Shoto said.
"I do hope we've talked you out of that crazy idea you have," the black-haired girl said, sharing a look with Yoarashi.
"It's not crazy," Shoto inserted.
"Keep telling yourself that," Yoarashi said.
Yaoyorozu and Yoarashi kept talking, but Shoto grew quiet as a thought crossed his mind.
Today the whole country would be watching. All eyes on the students of UA. What if? What if Shote stuck out to people. What he-?
Shoto shook himself. No, no, that wouldn't happen. He wouldn't let it. Never in a million years
Later three teenagers found themselves waiting in a room with the rest of their class. Shoto sat in the corner of the room, his eyes trained on Midoriya the whole time.
Now Shoto wanted to win, and he had a strong feeling he was going to. But right now, his head was filled with thoughts on his green-haired classmate. The other night Natsuo and all his 'infinite wisdom' decide to give Shoto advice on how quote 'get the guy.' Well, Natsuo said girl, but they both knew that's not who Shoto was trying to woo. Yet again, Shoto would probably get better dating advice from a rockhopper penguin, but that was neither here nor there.
Just go wish him luck, a voice in Shoto's head. Yeah, yeah, that seemed like a good plan. Shoto pushed himself up and began to walk over to Midoriya.
"Midoriya," he said when he got over to him. Midoriya turned around and looked at him.
"Oh, hey Yukitomo," the other boy said.
"I just want to say
'
Come on, spit it out now.
"I'm gonna beat you."

Peony Pink and Cherry Blossom Tea Ch 9: Still A Crybaby
Summary: Do they talk this time??? Eh.
Relationship(s): Todoroki Shouto/Uraraka Ochako; the Todoroki siblings
Rating: T (canon-typical violence)
Warnings/Notes: Hi to the 5 people still reading this! :)
Shouto remembers the night that Touya-nii ran away.
He doesn’t see his big brother a lot, so he doesn’t remember a lot about him. Shouto knows that he’s tall, and has red hair and blue eyes like the left part of himself. When they posed for a picture with Mom that one time, Shouto remembers his skin feeling cold, like his own right side.
He also knows that like him, Touya is always wrapped in bandages. But he’s always smiling when he plays with Fuyumi and Natsuo, like they don’t hurt. It makes him look cool, and Shouto wants to look cool like that one day.
It’s late, maybe past midnight when Shouto wakes up from another bad dream and feels very thirsty. Not wanting to wake anyone up, he decides to go down to the kitchen himself.
At first he’s scared because it’s dark and he might fall. But to his surprise there are lights near the front door. And voices.
“... are you sure about this, Touya?” That’s Fuyumi-nee, and her voice sounds weird. It sounds weak and froggy, like it does sometimes when she sees Shouto after a hard day of training with Dad.
“Yeah
” Touya-nii. He isn’t whispering, but his voice is really soft. “I can’t do what he wants anymore. I’d rather die.”
“Yeah, but
 running away
where will you go? What if you get hurt? I mean, maybe we can try talking to Dad about you and...”
“Fuyumi-nee, there’s no other way if it’s Dad. You know that.” Natsu-nii is also there. Shouto peeks from the hallway and sees his silver hair and Touya’s Samurai Blue duffel bag in his hands. “But nii-san
you’ll try to keep in touch with us, right?”
“I’ll think about it.”
Touya is silent for some time as he ties his shoes. It’s weird that he’s putting on his shoes even though it’s dark outside. Shouto kind of wants to ask why, but he doesn’t know if it’s okay to talk with him. Or any of them.
(Dad was extra mad today, so maybe he shouldn’t.)
But before he can turn around and leave, he sees Touya stop and slowly turn to him. Bright blue eyes land on his, wide like he’s scared at first, before they change into something else. “Shouto.”
Fuyumi and Natsuo look at him too. They don’t move for a while, and Shouto is suddenly too afraid to move too.
Touya breaks the silence among them. He smiles and puts his arms out to Shouto. “Don’t just stand there, Shou. Wanna come here?”
He nods and quietly pads over the tatami and then next to his older brother. He doesn’t understand why he hugs him, but he does, and Touya does the same thing. When Shouto feels his arms with their messy bandages around them, he wonders why they feel like coals instead of ice.
“Where are you going, Touya-nii?”
Touya smirks. “Dunno. An adventure. An awesome one.”
“That sounds fun,” Shouto says in awe. Touya is so cool. He’s big and strong and he can do whatever he likes without feeling scared. “I wanna go too.”
Fuyumi bites her lower lip and shakes her head. “No
Shoucchan, come here, okay? It’s way past your bedtime, and
and Dad will be mad if he sees that you’re not sleeping.”
Natsuo starts to look weird too. “I dunno nee-san
Maybe Shou could go with him? Maybe--”
“No!” She whispers so that no-one will hear, but she sounds angry. She pulls Shouto from Touya’s arms and holds him close. “You can’t take him too
he’s too little, it’ll be too scary
”
“And what Dad does to him isn’t scary?” Natsuo’s whisper is louder and angrier. “I don’t like watching Shou go through the same thing as nii-san, you know?”
“But Touya doesn’t even know where he’s going,” Fuyumi hisses. Her grip on Shouto becomes tighter. “What if they get hurt out there?”
“They’re
 already getting hurt here.”
They fall silent after that. Shouto doesn’t know why they’re worried about him and Touya-nii. Training hurts, but Dad says that once they’re the best, nothing will hurt anymore. So all they have to do is train more, until he and Touya-nii become the strongest heroes, and then everything will be okay, right?
“It’s fine. Doesn’t hurt that much.” Touya stands up and ruffles Shouto’s hair. “Anyways, Shou, crybabies aren’t allowed in adventures, so I can’t take you. You’re just gonna get in my way.”
“I’m not a crybaby,” he says with a pout. He hasn’t cried in a while, not even when Dad hit him in the tummy after breakfast.
“Yeah? Who cried when Natsuo blew out the candle on his birthday cake, huh?”
Shouto puffs his cheeks. “That was last year.”
A long time ago. Shouto doesn’t remember the last time someone had a birthday party at their house. Touya’s eyes suddenly look sad. “Yeah
last year, huh. Oh well.” He takes his bag from Natsuo and slings it over his shoulder. “Anyways, I’m outta this joint. You brats better take care of that crybaby, you hear? Or else I’m going back and takin’ him with me, no matter what you say.”
Natsuo nods and does a salute like they do in the Gundam animes they watch together. Shouto tries to do the same. “Yes, cap’n.” His voice sounds weird, like Fuyumi’s, but he smiles.
Touya salutes back, and goes for the door. It opens and it closes, as doors tend to do, and the house becomes unnaturally silent. Shouto remembers staring at it and wondering if he’ll see Touya again in the morning, playing football with Fuyumi and Natsuo like nothing happened.
By the time the weeping Fuyumi takes him upstairs with a cup of tea though, he suddenly understands that he’ll never see Touya outside his window again.
Shouto isn’t a crybaby anymore, but he sleeps with a saltwater-soaked pillowcase that night.

The weeks have been hard for Shouto.
He hasn’t been able to sleep well, eat well. Work had been terribly busy thanks to the upsurge in villain activity. He can’t complain; he doesn’t have the energy to. His days are spent in the OR, his nights spent collapsing on the bed or on the couch or on the floor, wherever his mood and energy levels take him.
People stare at him. At the empty space next to him. Then back at him, as if adding two and two together. It was only a matter of time before the rumors circulate. And they do, with a vengeance.
He doesn’t care, although it becomes extra troublesome when Endeavor catches wind of them and asks him questions about it. Leaving him on read is a simple matter, but it’s a little difficult when Fuyumi-nee starts to ask, and Natsu-nii.
Mom has been quiet about it, but her eyes look a little down when they do their video calls. She’s happy enough seeing him, she says, and she can’t wait for his next visit.
He doesn’t want Mom to be sad. She shouldn’t be, because Shouto’s been alone all this time. He isn’t technically any different from the time he went to see her and everyone else in Shizuoka.
(It’s just that now, he doesn’t have any of Ochako’s stories to listen to.)
But. He doesn’t recall being alone--truly alone this time, without the shield of a fake relationship to distract him--ever felt like this: a confusing state of too wide, too narrow. Too noisy, too quiet. Too much of himself, and too little at the same time.
He doesn’t enjoy it. But he doesn’t suffer in it either. He doesn’t know what to do with himself while in it.
There’s lots of space to take a good look at himself. All his scars and cracks and soft spots. Most days he doesn’t like what he sees, doesn’t like the stories that the sight of each blemish gives him.
Other times he doesn’t care. Those times are okay. He doesn’t have to hate Endeavor or himself as much. The past weeks aren’t any different from most of his life, in retrospect.
The short time with Ochako just made him believe that maybe a life other than that is possible. Even though it was pretend from the start.
Tonight is two weeks
three weeks? since they last spoke. He’s tired and alone and his hands are shaking and freezing and burning again. It’s not different from any other bad nights, but there’s a period of lucidity that makes him conclude:
This isn’t right. Being alone like this isn’t right.
He
 needs help.
Real professional help.
Maybe
just this once, he can ask for it. Endeavor isn’t around to tell him that he can’t.
Fuyumi could help. Or Natsuo. Mom needed help, and was helped before, right? It wouldn’t be so bad. It would be logical to ask.
Maybe there’s someone in the psychiatry department that can help him. Shinsou works with them frequently because of his quirk. He’s a trustworthy guy, and quiet. Maybe he can ask him too.
He stares at into the emptiness of his apartment, and at his shaking hands. It’s silly, but just thinking of that feels like a breakthrough. That there’s a way out of this odd despondence that he has plunged head-first in.
Strange, that out of nowhere he wants to tell her. Maybe just to let her know that he doesn’t know if there’s a meaning to all of these things he’s feeling, but he found a way to find out, at least.
It’s way past midnight of a busy day. Shouto stares at his phone and begins to compose a message.

The sun has just risen when Shouto sees her in the hospital lobby.
He sees her on most days, although he hasn’t looked her in the eye for a long time now. Ochako is in her scrub suit and a Hosu Gen jacket. Her hair is a little messy and is mostly up in a messy bun, exposing the back of her neck. Her eyes look a little tired, but they’re as bright and brown as he remembers them.
She smiles quietly. A little dizzily. Maybe she's hungover. It's not as off-putting as it should be.
“Hey,” he says.
The smile brightens and somehow reach her eyes. “Good morning, Doctoroki. It’s been a while.”
He nods and stares at her, instantly forgetting his script, not quite knowing what to do next.
“So
Bakugou or Jirou aren’t here yet to open the cafe, and we don’t have anywhere else to go,” she says with an awkward laugh. Maybe she notices how he doesn’t seem to know what to do next.
“It’s fine.” There are a few people walking by, with more important things to do. They don’t spare them a second glance. “We can start talking here.”
So they flop down on the worn lobby couch determinedly and stare each other down. Open their mouths, and close them again at the same time. It’s funny how they do that often.
“I’ll start,” Ochako says with an amused glow of her pink cheeks. They’re also as round as Shouto remembers them. A surge of nostalgia overwhelms him. “So
 um, first of all
I’m sorry, I messed up. You didn’t deserve the things I said to you last time we saw each other.”
She pauses and assesses the look on his face. “I really am, okay? I was
am, insecure. I kinda got mad at you for things that I had no right to be mad at, and I didn’t even give you a chance to explain yourself. I was too focused on myself, but even then I sucked at focusing on myself because I didn’t really understand what I wanted and what I was afraid of. Like
maybe it’s just a perpetual fear of being alone and discarded and unwanted, because I had a lot of that in the past, and maybe
maybe I need to know for myself how to deal with that first, before I even think about you, and...”
She stops for a breath and laughs humorlessly. “And
you’re just staring at me like that. I really don’t know what you’re thinking.”
“Oh,” he says apologetically. “I didn’t want to distract you. I am listening, promise.”
She makes a cute little whining noise. “I know, just
urgh, I feel ridiculous, just monologuing like this. I’m beggin’ ya to stop me, ya know?!”
His mouth twists upward. “I kind of don’t want to. It’s nice listening to you talk.”
Her cheeks flush and puff and he realizes how long it’s been since he last saw that. How he missed it. How he missed her.
“You have to talk too, Doctoroki,” she says, jabbing him at the side with a finger. “I’m not the only one screwed in the head here, ya know?”
He catches her hand and forces it down on her side. She freezes at the feel of his hand on hers, and he does too, for a moment.
It’s nice, but he shouldn’t be distracted. “You’re right. I am
 not okay.”
It’s a little hard to continue, with the look of warmth and concern on her face, like she’s ready to do anything for him again and he knows that’s what got them into trouble in the first place.
Well, he has to say words properly this time, so no misunderstanding occurs. “... I feel exactly the same way about myself. After thinking about it, I think the best thing for me to do is--”
Alarm spikes in his gut, so sharp he flinches.
Ochako stares at him with wide eyes. “Shouto? What’s wrong?”
He knows what this is. Even though it’s been years since the last time he was out on the field as a pro, his body remembers. All his nerves are alight, his muscles tense. His brain tells him to calm down, look around, find out what it is that’s wrong about this situation.
When the rumbling starts, he’s already pushing Ochako’s head down and facing the glass windows. An ice shield is already up before the floor in front of them collapses, and the people start to scream.
He hears a lot of things shattering beyond the wall, likely the glass and concrete. He hopes it isn’t his ice.
“Run,” he tells Ochako sternly, standing his ground. “Help everyone else get out of here.”
“But--wh-what is that, what’s going on?”
“Doesn’t matter. Evacuate.”
More shattering noises. A black shadow is on the other side, getting closer and closer. He wills fire to form on his hand, burning the sleeve of his coat.
Ochako, pale as a ghost, finally nods. With the people screaming around her, she starts to yell, “Everyone, please follow me, the fire exit is this way--”
The moment the ice shatters, Shouto’s hand bursts into flame. He targets the brunt of the heat onto the black thing’s face, not even bothering to see if it’s human or not. He can only target focus so much heat and smoke before the sprinklers come on, so he has to do as much damage with one blow.
He knows he applied enough heat to melt human flesh. But the thing that stares back at him--vacant, and only mildly offended by the fire--is obviously not.
A hand made of pure power starts to go down, fingers twitching as if to clutch him. It’s too close, he doesn’t have time to roll away or to fight back.
“Todoroki!”
Silver and black fill his vision, as do the sounds of metal hitting metal. When he opens his eyes, he’s up in the ceiling, and a person made of steel is in his place, holding back against a fist to the top of his head.
“Fuck, that hurts what the hell!” Tetsutetsu screams. Next to him, Shoji and Awase yell their expletives, a mass array of randomly fused bits of steel in their hands. “Let’s kill this thing you guys!”
Shouto stares at this bug-eyed before he realizes that he’s going down. In the next moment, he drops to the ground, the dark matter around him unraveling until it’s in the shape of a crow, floating next to Tokoyami Fumikage. “Todoroki, are you all right?"
“Yeah,” Shouto says, half in awe, half in panic. “What are you doing here? Everyone’s supposed to be evacuating.”
“Shouto!” Ochako yells from behind him. She is panting, along with Kendo, Honenuki, and Shiozaki, who are followed by a rather large group of pale-faced civilians. “There’s no way out. There’s more of them out there roaming the streets.”
“... a whole lot more of them,” Honenuki adds, with a swallow. “I saw at least five of them trying to break in here when we tried to evacuate just now. I made them sink to the ground, but it’s only a matter of time before they make their way out. They seem strong.”
Five more of these. He looks away from them briefly to form a wall between the fight and the civilians.
“We called the police, but I’m not sure how quickly they’ll respond,” says Kendo, as more shattering and rumbling noises emerge from around them. “And the pros too, but
”
Shiozaki sniffles. She’s a little paler than everyone else when she speaks. “I
called Emily. She’s responding to the call, but
it’s not just Hosu that’s suffering from the wrath of these beasts. Nomus, she called these abominations.” Her trembling hands are clasped in front of her, as if in deep prayer. “Who are these sinners who would dare play god like this, and terrorize so many innocents?”
The League of Villains, Shouto thinks in despair. Is this another stupid war against heroes? Another war against the number one hero?
Endeavor’s face flashes in his mind briefly, along with a concerning rush of emotions he cannot name. He shakes these off and stands up. “We have no time to waste, whatever this is,” he mutters, before running back to the fray, with fire and ice in his hands.
“Shouto!!!”
He noticed something while he was fighting the Nomu. There are people all around them, but it only seemed to target Shouto first. Its arms curl, as if in an effort to grab him. When Tokoyami caught him, its eyes went from Dark Shadow to Tokoyami, and were it not for Tetsutetsu distracting it with his steel skin, then it would have chased after the two of them

This Nomu has targets, it seems. Shouto, Tokoyami, and Tetsutetsu are among some of them.
“Todoroki, watch out!” Shoji shouts, as he himself is thrown backwards with a blow to the stomach.
Is it because of their quirks? Is the League of Villains collecting innocent civilians with destructive quirks? What are they going to do with them?
The answers aren’t very important right now , Shouto reprimands himself as he throws more fire and ice against the Nomu.
“Todoroki! What the hell are you doing?!” Awase screams, as Shouto catches the Nomu’s eye with a small fireball to the face.
“Distracting it,” Shouto says evenly. “It comes after you if it sees you use a quirk. I’ll lead it away from everyone else--”
“No, don’t be stupid!” Tetsutetsu chokes, even as he bleeds from broken skin at his head. Ochako, who hears everything, pales more than ever and begins to move towards him. Kendo thankfully has the sense to hold her back with a normal-sized hand.
“--and when it’s far away, Shiozaki should form a barrier all around the lobby with her quirk. I’ll reinforce it with ice from outside.”
He doesn’t know why his voice is so calm and distant when he speaks. All eyes are on him as the Nomu blindly chases after him, seeking out his fire like a moth to a flame, too fast, too fast. He forms ice under his feet and slides out of the building on freezing waves.
In a matter of seconds, he’s outside of the building, the Nomu stumbling after him. As soon as they’re out in the sun, vines begin to emerge from the ground, forming a wall. To his relief, even though Tetsutetsu and Awase run to stop him, the vines seal them safely inside the lobby.
Now, he just has to deal with the Nomu by himself.
He hits the monster with fire and ice, but it’s difficult because his stance is unsteady, and it’s not doing his aim any favors. There are holes in the concrete, all manner of things falling around him as buildings crumble. There are screams and gunshots and blasts and rumbles of thunder from a distance.
He needs to fight. Fire, in his hand, now.
It doesn’t form. Something hits him at the back of his head.
It’s heavy and it comes from above, accompanied by a body falling somewhere close by. Debris, he realizes. He hopes that the person thrown is still alive. He hopes that it isn’t a civilian. Or a pro.
But there isn’t time to worry about someone else. His vision goes blurry, nausea filling his senses in waves. He tries to form ice when he can’t aim the fire anymore. The glaciers are hollow and weak, easily breaking when the monster moves.
The Nomu tilts its head at him curiously, hands going for his neck.
“Shouto!! Move!!”
Out of nowhere, the nausea at the pit of his stomach blooms into a complete weightlessness. Someone’s arms are around him. The Nomu misses and looks up at them, temporarily at a loss on what to do.
He looks at the owner of the voice. And the arms. And the reason why he’s floating. “Ochako.”
He means to sound angry, because he really is. He wants to tell her that she isn’t supposed to be here and why is she putting herself in danger for him when she was already safe inside? But his head still feels odd, and he only manages a slightly befuddled question aimed vaguely at all.
“We have to get you out of here,” she tells him in a voice that sounds too far away. They’re twenty feet in the air, and the higher they get the greener Ochako’s face becomes. “We can hide up the roof until the pros--”
She doesn’t even have the time to scream as the monster leaps from the ground and gets a hold of their legs. The tug jars them both, and despite zero gravity, they find themselves being pulled to the ground.
Ochako hisses in pain as her ankle is violently pulled down. “Shit! Get off me, you--”
He struggles and kicks and tries to burn and/or freeze the monster’s arms off. But he can only do so much without burning their own legs off. He can’t think straight, can’t aim well, can’t do anything--
When they sink, they’re suddenly engulfed in blue flame. It’s so hot he wonders if they’ve descended to hell.
The monster screeches like a pterodactyl and lets them go. Ochako appears beyond her limit of using her quirk and releases them as soon as they’re on concrete that’s not burning.
He crawls to her, coughing from the smoke and ashes billowing around them. He tries to form ice around them and then holds her with his right hand. “Ochako,” he calls out, weakly.
She stares at the flames in front of them, eyes as wide as saucers. “It’s
 you,” she says weakly.
Amidst the chaos all around them, Shouto wonders why it’s the first thing that comes out of her mouth. And then he looks at the person she’s talking to: jet-black hair, burnt skin, stitches that make him look like a patchwork doll rather than a human. Flames are sprouting out of his hands, blue and hot that it stings his skin from a distance.
Blue eyes, cold with anger, stare down at the Nomu and then at the two of them. “Get outta here. Take Shouto with you.”
“Wh
who are you?” How does he know his name? Why does Ochako know who he is? How is this fire possible?
Does he know him?
The man glares at him for a split second before turning his attention back to the Nomu. The temperature is so high, the blasts so loud that the steel bars sticking out of broken concrete begin to wilt like flowers. His skin begins to burn, his ice quirk at his state can only do so much to counteract the heat.
“Shouto, let’s go,” Ochako says urgently, tugging at his sleeve. She’s burning up too, even though he’s trying to cover them in frost. “I can still make us float, just hold on to me, okay?”
He knows that leaving is the best thing to do right now, and that Ochako is their best bet. The Nomu looks like it’s in pain, its movements duller and slower. If they had to escape, it has to be now.
He knows that, but it’s then that something comes back to him. It’s trivial, but it’s when he sees how the blue of the man’s eyes matches the blue of the flames. It’s when he thinks of the way he says Shouto. It’s in the dark of his clothes, the fighting stance, the way his jaw clenches in excruciating pain when he incinerates the monster--
Kodai’s voice in his head: Todoroki-san
are you related to a vigilante named Dabi?
As powerful as it is, the man’s fire isn’t enough to hold the Nomu back. It hits him square in the jaw, making him fly in a smoking heap towards the wall of vines.
Shouto’s eyes snap open from the haze. “Touya-nii!”
His right hand moves without thinking. Another wave of ice emerges from the ground and in between him and the Nomu. There’s fire all around, the hissing heat enough to crack the shield, just enough to slow it down. Shouto moves to form another one, ignoring the dizziness of rapid temperature change around him, all efforts directed on saving him.
The next wave of ice from him is still weak. But the one after that is large and strong, and doesn’t come from him.
“Nii-san! Shou!” a familiar voice screams from behind them.
Shouto momentarily wonders if all he’s seeing is a mirage, because out of nowhere Natsu-nii is running in the scene, dressed in his physical therapist scrubs and bare arms white with frost. He brakes in front of Shouto, onyx eyes shining with worry. “Ochako-chan, go and float! I’ll take care of nii-san!”
“Okay!” Ochako yells, moving to touch Shouto, but he stops her.
“Shouto--”
It’s not the best place for confrontations. He knows that, but his brain’s too jumbled up to care. “Natsu-nii, you knew
 you knew that Touya-nii was--”
“We’ll talk after we survive, okay? Just get outta here already!” Natsuo turns away and sends shards of ice careening towards the monster. He’s able to distract the monster enough to get to the dark-haired Touya’s side and to help him up.
“Shouto,” Ochako says, her voice edging at a sob. “Please, your
your brothers are letting us escape, we have to go now . ”
Shouto stares at the scene in front of him, hardly believing it. Natsuo touches Touya in practiced movements, cooling down very specific areas on his arms, face and chest hit the worst by the blue flame. After which, Touya becomes functional enough to shove him aside and throw another pillar of fire at the Nomu, and its friend--
Shit. There are two Nomus now.
Ochako sees this too, and tenses. She looks at him, opening her mouth to probably stop him from doing what he wants to do.
But he doesn’t stop. He stands up, ice and fire forming over both sides. His clothes are all but destroyed now, but he can’t care.
Running forward with a cry, he throws all that he has within him and directs them at the monsters threatening his brothers’ lives. At the same time, great pillars of ice and blue flame cover the two Nomus, leaving them screaming in an inferno of extremes.
It takes a while for the ice to completely shatter and the fire to die down. When they do eventually, one Nomu lies unmoving on the concrete. The other is still standing, but it twitches and trills, arms frozen in mid-air.
Shouto falls to his knees, suddenly too weak to move. Across from him, Touya does the same, steam rising from his skin. Natsuo also has to lean against the wall, his face covered in frost, breath coming out thick and white through chattering teeth.
It turns to Shouto. Blue flames begin to emerge from within--is this a copy quirk?--running at full speed, ready to burn him--
“RELEASE!!!”
A meteor shower falls over the Nomu, burying it under boulders and rubble. The pile shudders once, and remains still.
Silence falls over them. He hears Ochako gasp and fall next to him, feels her soft arms around him and her sigh of relief.
“Oh my god
I can’t believe that worked,” she says, voice cracking, eyes leaking with tears. “D-don’t ever do that again, Shouto, don’t you dare-- ”
“I’m sorry,” he says, holding her close. “It’s
 it’s over now. We survived.”
“Really?” she sniffs.
“Yeah. Really. You saved us, Ochako-chan.” Natsuo and Touya stumble in their direction, looking like they’d fall over if they weren’t leaning on each other.
His
 brothers.
Shouto is on his feet before he knows it, looking up into blue eyes and black hair and burning skin. His mouth opens and closes. He probably stares for too long, because he can’t believe what he’s seeing.
The man looks back at him, tired as hell, but still smirking.
“Don’t just stand there, Shou. Wanna come here?”
He nods, and embraces him. The smell of ash fills his nostrils and almost chokes him, pushing tears out of his eyes. He’s so weak and spent that his entire body starts to shake, and--
“Geez. Still a crybaby, huh, Shouto.”
“Stupid nii-san,” he grumbles. He has too many things to say, but he can’t think of anything else right now except how his older brother is alive and well and breathing in his arms.
Touya chuckles and ruffles his hair. “Okay, that’s enough, yeah? I think the pros are here, so I gotta get outta here before they catch me doing a better job of protecting the city than them.”
True enough, people in colorful suits suddenly rush the scene, falling down on the monsters littering the streets like arrows. The turn of the tide is visible and dramatic, with heroes of all shapes and sizes plucking civilians from the streets and/or pummeling Nomus to the ground.
“We gotta get you out of here, nii-san. It’ll be harder to keep you outta sight if we stay here,” Natsuo says, mustering up enough energy to lift him more decidedly by the shoulder.
Shouto looks up at them meaningfully.
Touya rolls his eyes. “Are ya really gonna throw a tantrum about me running away from home years and years ago? Right now? ”
Despite the situation, he hears Ochako snort behind him. Natsuo huffs, giving Shouto an amused smile. “We’ll talk later, promise. Right now, you and Ochako have to help out all the injured and--”
A flash of light cuts off his sentence.
“LOOK! Up in the sky!!!”
Simultaneously, they turn to the sky, the mess of people around them doing the same thing.
At the center of the Hosu skyline, the vision of an exploding star rises. Orange and green and blue flames as hot as the sun, expanding twenty meters in all directions. Shouto sees the gaudy blue and orange of his suit, the flashy flames of his face bursting with the rest of the flashfire.
“It’s Endeavor! We’re saved!” Someone screams in relief from below.
“The old man’s still at it, huh.” Touya’s voice is ragged and cold, his smile sardonic. Still, he’s looking up at the sky, watching the fight. Natsuo, too. His mouth is twisted as if he’s tasted something bitter, but he can’t take his eyes off the sky, the sun.
All of them are watching him.
People are screaming, cheering for him. He’s never heard such a strong approval of him. He wonders how he’s going to flaunt this after all this chaos is over

And then, it happens. It probably lasts a second, but Shouto sees the moment stretched out, painful and slow.
Something gleams, pointed and silver, from the Nomu’s hand. It’s strong, and aims for the middle of Endeavor’s forehead. It misses.
It hits the side of his neck instead.
And as quickly as the brilliant sunfire comes, they disappear. Endeavor falls like a comet from the sky, a streak of crimson trailing from his neck as it does. He crashes into the side of an office building, the sound of crushed glass and steel and stone echoing across the sky, onto the street.
The silence that follows is deafening.

I decided to say ‘fuck you’ to my insecurities and post something that has to do with the Todoroki’s. I am just so in love with the idea that they all had such good relationships in the past (especially Fuyumi and Dabi) so this just popped out of my head.  I might write more soon...I just love this family so much
I pray to whatever is out there.
To keep my family safe.
My mother, my sister, and my brothers.
And for my father to burn in hell.
--------
“Touya.”
Strands of red hair shuffled against the pillow, a string of saliva leaving the boy’s face as he slept on soundly.
“Touya
”
It was probably one in the morning, he didn’t have to get up for another five hours.
“Touya!”
Well it was obvious Fuyumi wasn’t going anywhere.
Tiny hands grasped onto his shirt as he sat up, wiping away any excess of sleep before staring into the brown eyes of his little sister.
“You have a minute to explain why you woke me up.”
The little girl nodded happily as she sat in front of her brother, face barely holding in the excitement as Touya raised his finger and then pointed towards her direction.
“Go.”
“Touya-nii you have to come see! I’ve been awake all this time and I want to show you what I made! You know how I’ve been practicing with my quirk? Well I’ve gotten better! don’t just make flurries anymore! I can make walls and pillars, well not big pillars, but big enough to climb! Not only that but you know the how the second floor banister broke? The one Dad broke because he burned it? Well I ma--”
“And that’s a minute. Good night Fuyumi.”
Touya had to hold back a chuckle as the girl stopped her ranting and jumped on him. That was her official ‘I’m not leaving you can’t make me!’ statement and he didn’t know whether he should keep pretending he’s asleep or keep indulging her.
“Would you listen! I made a slide!”
Seems like he is taking the first option.
“Just where in the house did you make on of those?”
She jumps off him and drags away his blankets, pointing outside. “The second floor! Where Dad broke the banister! Come on already!”
Fuyumi runs off excitedly and leaves Touya to play catch up. For a six year old girl she seemed to be practicing her Quirk a lot, even if their father hardly gave a fuck about it. If Touya were to quote what his father said, the exact words that were said to Fuyumi were:
There’s plenty of Quirks like yours, don’t bother training.
Touya would have to give it up to his father, at least he didn’t make the ‘I don’t care for you’ revelation as harsh as it had been made for him. At least she got the benefit of the doubt, something that would maybe help in the future.
Or maybe not. Who cared.
Fuyumi seemed to be doing fine on her own. Getting good grades in primary, helping mom out with chores, even helping out in the kitchen by making shaved ice when the days got a bit too hot. She was the good child that their family had asked for and most of the family’s attention had been shifted to her so as to leave him to do whatever he wanted.
As a nine year old, that is a dream come true.
Touya stepped out of the room and hissed when his feet touched the icy ground. He looked on further and a smile grew on his face as he saw the fantastic job that his little sister had made. She had covered the entire ground in a thick layer of ice and used that as the base to build, what Touya believed, her dream playground. There was a slide that connected the second floor to the patio, one single swing set that was just her size made out of icy poles and even smaller icy chain links, and a decently sized roundabout with thick ice handles.
It looked like one of those magic winter lands mom liked to talk about.
The little girl stood in the middle of it all, a proud smile on her face as she climbed on the roundabout and spun around.
“How long did this take you?” Touya finally asked after going back inside and getting a good pair of shoes.
“5 hours!”
“And no one heard you?”
“Nobody!”
The boy approached the lone swing and touched the icy handles with hum when he saw that it didn’t immediately melt.
“...He is going to kill you. ” Touya whispered as he touched the small swing.
Fuyumi shook her head, sure of the decision she had made. “That’s why I brought you here! We can finish playing and then you can melt it!”
He laughed, “So I’m your personal demolisher now?”
“Uh huh!” “You can’t be serious.”
She pouted before taking his hand and dragging him over to the slide, “Pleaaase! I’ve seen your fire! It would not only melt the ice but dry the ground! It would be really helpful!”
Touya blinked before shaking his head with a sigh. The girl really had a knack for knowing how to handle each member of her family.
“...I get first dibs on the roundabout.”
Time passed by rather quickly after that. Touya and Fuyumi had quietly made their way upstairs before sliding down the slide together, giggling like robbers who had just successfully completed their first heist. He had pushed her on the slide hard enough to make her fall, only to watch her make an impromptu slide that brought her all the way to his feet. He even watched with great delight as his little sister tried to make the roundabout go despite all of his weight before he finally gave up and they both pushed it together so that it would go the fastest it could.
The moon was high above them when they finished playing, both of them laying on the ice as the starry night shone on them both.
“Should I tell Dad tomorrow?”
Touya hummed as he thought of his answer. To let or not let their father know just how much Fuyumi’s quirk had improved. From what he had seen she was able to make highly intricate designs out of ice. This probably meant that her Quirk was a bit more defined and allowed her to shape the ice instead of just manifest it. That surely could be the work of a pro-hero.
Con...as the eldest son and first recipient of his father’s ambivalence, Endeavour probably wasn’t going to give two shits.
“Nah. Keep it to yourself. He takes enough from us already.”
They both giggle again, whether due to the ice tickling their backs or the fact that at such a young age they were perceptive about what their dad really cared about.
“You’re amazing Fuyumi. Anyone would wish to have your Quirk.”
No answer came from the younger. Touya turned his head and smiled when he saw his sister had fallen asleep without saying a word, all of the work and then fun tiring her out. He sits up and very carefully picks her up so as not to wake her.
At least he got something out of strength training.
He carried her back to his room, laying her down on his futon and covering her up before going outside and looking down at the palm of his hand, watching the familiar black smoke come ooze out and a bright blue flame being ignited.
“Sleep, little sis. I’ll take care of it.”

re-shouto asked:
"Happy Birthday, Touya-nii."
Shouto had been surprised his brother's was only a week after his own. After Touya-nii's birthday celebration for him, Shouto had messaged Fuyumi to ask when Touya's was.
He holds out a small gift bag patterned with cats. Inside is a card and a wrapped gift. The card has a hawk on the front with Hawk's face for the head. The contents are written like an Animal Crossing letter.
「Touya-nii,
Happy Birthday Nii-chan. Thank you for always taking care of me. I didn't get to spend time with my siblings when I was younger, so I'm glad you're here with me now. I didn't know what to get you. But these make me feel better. Maybe they will make you feel better too. Also, now we can match.
Shouto」
The wrapping paper contains Studio Ghibli chopsticks. They have a purple cityscape in the background instead of the flowers on Shouto's.

If anyone had told Toya a few weeks ago, that he'd have nightmares of cats, he wouldn't believe them. But somehow, it turned to be the truth. They'd climb his bed at night, a herd of cats, that'd cover his whole body and they'd start licking every part of him as if he wasn't human, but a damn lollipop. Most of the time he'd manage to escape them, but when he'd storm into Shoto's room to save him, he'd come face-to-face with the most terrifying image of all. His little brother had turned into a half cat, too. With cat ears, eyes, a tail, everything. And instead of words, he'd only meow. Toya would wake up at this point, covering in cold sweat, realizing this had only been a dream. There weren't any cats in his room. And when he'd push the door in Shoto's bedroom open, he'd find him sleeping peacefully, looking his usual, human self.
Tumblr media
That was the reason behind the terror written on his face at the sight of the gift bag. But he was quick to mask it with his usual cold stare, hoping the other hadn't noticed. After all, he couldn't let the fear of cats control him for his entire life. “ Thanks, ” he mumbled, with visible lack of excitement. It wasn't because of Shoto, that he looked that way. But he didn't feel like celebrating one more year of being a failure. Of having done nothing in his life so far. And what pissed him off the most was, that he was supposed to be happy this day. Look happy, because everyone else was, having him in their lives. What a joke, that was. What a joke life was. But, Toya knew he couldn't do otherwise with the little one around. Not when he'd keep an eye on him as if he was still five years old. Maybe because he had never been five years old.
First, he'd read the card carefully and then take a look at what was inside. Of course, the card gave Toya more information to fit to the missing pieces of what had happened to Shoto's life, and what his possibly different upraising was like. Yet, he couldn't tell for sure what had happened. The number one scenario he could think of, was that he had died at young age. Maybe, this was a chance to make him spit everything out, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to ruin his brother's day. Not if he was that excited for them to celebrate together.
“ Great. We are matching now, ” he said, forcing a wide grin. The chopsticks weren't exactly his style, but he was supposed to appreciate the sentiment, right? At least that's what he imagined was right. “ Now, how are we supposed to spend the day? Booze and women, I guess? ” He was joking, of course. He wasn't into women. “ It's my day, so we get to do what I say. ” He wasn't even in the mood to be his usual sadistic self. His plans for the day would normally have been a hook-up with Hawks, if he did him the favor, and if he didn't, maybe get drunk until he'd pass out. But his plans had changed now, because of him. “ We can watch a movie. We'll order food and drinks — don't get excited, you'll only drink cola — and maybe watch the Notebook. That way we'll end up crying in each other's arms, because Noah was too good for that bitch. ” And when Shoto would fall asleep, like he good kid he was, maybe he'd try this hook-up with birdie. After all, he was on night patrol.
