summary: sawyer isn't as put together as he comes off. sometimes he needs to break down.

theatre meant late nights. lots of reading, lots of writing, lots of drawing, lots of… a lot. if time wasn't spent in the theater itself; it was time spent researching and perfecting. so of course serafin was up at 3 am, and of course it saw the lengthy text sawyer sent it. the notification flashed across its phone and it could tell without more than a glance it was at the very least a paragraph long. it thought nothing of it; late night rambles weren't uncommon between the two of them, more often than not they were both up, exhausted from school and work, chipping away at things they needed to get done, and needing an outlet to throw any late night thoughts at. it clicked its tounge as it wrapped up the line of dialouge it was writing, finally pleased with the direction the script was going, and picked up its phone.
before it could really get a grasp of what was going on, its eyes darted to the most recent texts.
“fuck… Sera i'm so sorry i don't know why i sent all of that.“ ”Shit, i'm sorry i'm tipsy. had too mcuh to drink. disregard all fo that.“
it immedtiately scrolled up and read through the wall of text he had sent only five minutes prior. lines upon lines about lonliness, and fear, and dread, and emptiness… things that twisted its heart into knots. quickly, it texts back:
”hey, get your ass over here, now. i wanna make sure youre safe.”
it paused a moment, before shooting off another text:
“if you dont come over im dragging you over. please”
sera anxiously stared at its phone; praying to whatever was out there that he'd actually respond and it didn't have to find god knows where he is right now. right when it was started to put its shoes on, the screen lit up.
“alright.”
it figeted with its hands as it waited for sawyer. its never seen him like this. he doesn't usually drink like this. it let out a deep sigh, flinching a bit when it heard a knock at its door. that had to be sawyer. the only other person it could be is tate- fuck please don't let it be tate. not this time. it almost tripped getting to the door, opening it to a dishevled sawyer. his hair messed, his mask more on the side of his head than anything, the bags under his eyes more pronounced than usual… he looked a mess already.
he tried to force a smile, trying to force himself to not absolutely fall apart at the seams. ”i'm here, i…“ his voice cracked and he clamped his mouth shut. ”what did…“ his voice trailed off as he started to shake. ”can… can i come in?“ his voice was soft.
”fuck, yes of course you can come in, come here.“ sera immediately grabbed for sawyer's arm, carefully guiding him inside. he felt like he was going to break at any moment. it dragged him to one of the couches, sitting him down. it went to grab him some water, and by the time it came back he was curled up in on himself.
”don't… don't look at me, ser.“ he took a deep breath when it sat next to him, placing the water on the table. ”i… i'm a fucking mess right now.“ his voice was strained, his body shaking as he holds back sobs.
”hey, hey it's okay. i didn't invite you here to judge you…“ sera softly put a hand on his shoulder. ”i saw the texts. i'm just looking out for you, love.“
he let in a shaky breath. ”i shouldn't have even sent those is the thing!“
”why not? you need to get shit off your chest too.“
”because!“ he looked up at the other. ”because i'm supposed to… to be put together,” his voice was wet. “i… i'm not supposed to be the one that's needing to be taken care of! i'm supposed to be… strong. i'm studying to be a lawyer for fucks sake.” he wiped one of his eyes. “i'm not… i'm not supposed to drink until i feel sick like this.”
“oh, honey…” sera put its arms around him, pulling him in close. “you're allowed to be weak too, y'know.” it spoke into the top of his head.
and that seemed to be enough to set him off.
he started shaking hard, clinging onto the other man* as well as he could. he let out strained sobs, like he desperately wanted to keep them in but his body wouldn't let him. they were sad, wet, loud sounds as he wailed into its chest. sera held onto him close. one hand rubbing his back, another petting his hair. soft comforting murmers being whispered as his nails dug into its back. it didn't know him to cry like this.
it didn't know him to cry at all. months, possibly even years, of repressed emotions being unfurled all at once into its chest. and it couldn't help but wonder; what was his breaking point?
was it mike? that bastard? finally saying something that got under his skin in just the right way? did he fail something that he expected to do well on- the straw that broke the camels back? or was it family related. it struck it in that moment that it barely knew anything about his family despite them having been together for almost 6 months at this point, and known each other even longer. was this deliberate? though, he barely knew anything about its so it couldn't be the one to judge. this was, however, a can of worms for another time.
“i'm… i'm sorry,“ he managed to choke out in between sobs after a while.
”what are you sorry for?“
”all of…“ he pulled away, ”all of this!“ his voice cracked as he motioned to himself. sera's heart twisted at sawyer's fact, his cheeks wet with tears and eyes red and puffy. ”i shouldn't…“ he cut himself off with another sob and curled up on himself. ”all of this because i got too stressed. i should… be able to handle myself.”
“sawyer. look at me.” sera took his face in its hands, forcing him to look up at it, and carefully wiped some of the tears away. “you're allowed to cry for fucks sake. you're allowed to feel things. this isn't something that's barred from you. being stressed is a reasonable time to cry.” it rested its forehead on his. his face twisted a bit as he tried to hold back more tears.
they sat there for a few more moments before sawyer wrapped his arms around it and buried his face into the crook of its neck, soft sobs continuing to escape him. it knew that it was more than stress that upset him. knowing sawyer there was more to this. but it didn't pry. that was a conversation for the morning.
when he lifted his head up again, shifting where his head simply rested on its shoulder, sera leaned over to grab the cup of water it had gotten earlier. he made a soft noise of protest, his grip on it tightening a bit, before relaxing again. he muttered something under his breath (sera thought it heard him say sorry, but for his sake it pretended it didn't). it brought the glass to his lips, and he was too tired to protest. exhaustion painted his face as he drank from the glass, closing his eyes when he was done. ”thank you…“ his voice was hoarse.
”mhm, anything for you.“ it spoke into his hair. ”do you want to stay the night?“
a soft nod. ”please…“
”it'll be a bit cramped but we can make it work.“ it softly laughed as it pressed a few kisses to the top of his head. ”you're safe with me, i promise.“

Ohhhh, I could say a LOT about this. I watched the show live since the Pilot, so I saw loads of dodgy stuff unfolding that was just accepted, repeated or created by fandom which wouldn't be now. I didn't even question some of it at the time. It's honestly difficult to explain to people about the giant social misogynistic blindspot there was (still is, in many respects).`
But there was also a TON of frustration with the writers/producers/directors for the overt sexualisation and slut-shaming of a lot of female characters, even the random background characters. And the female writers seemed to be the worst for it, which was beyond frustrating. I got the impression that there was a certain 'trying to fit in with the boy's club' thing going on. It was Bedlund, I think, who said something about how there was a real sausage-club feel in the writer's room sometimes.
But to give Sera Gamble her credit, she went to bat on the S4 Ruby plotline for us. Originally, Kripke et al wanted Ruby to possess a random woman and Gamble pointed out how very creepy that was, given that the lore had established that demon hosts were awake and aware inside their own bodies. Since Sam would be sleeping with Ruby, it effectively meant that Sam would - knowingly- be raping some poor woman who would be entirely aware of it the whole time. Gamble wanted Ruby to have her own body somehow to avoid that, but said that she was the only writer who seemed to recognise that there was a problem with the consent issues at all, even after she pointed it out. She got outvoted but refused to let it lie. Eventually, the writers compromised by having Ruby take over the body of a woman who'd just died - still creepy, but at least the host wasn't around to see her dead body get raped. I GUESS.
I got the impression at the time that this was just how the writer's room 1.0 operated in general. They very much looked at things from a young, white, 20-something male perspective, and didn't understand or care much about 'women's things'.
Don't me wrong, the fandom was just as bad, in many ways. I caught up with S3 in one go after being away for several months, and I thought that Bela was a really fun and interesting character. (It still bugs me that Sam & Dean never found out the real reason that she made the demon deal, because it instantly changes her from villain to victim, and puts all of her self-preserving actions into a different light.) To avoid being spoiled, I'd been avoiding fandom until I caught up. I went online with glee afterwards to get everyone's reactions, only to be truly shocked and appalled at the stuff people were saying about Bela.
It was really, depressingly noticeable that most of the nasty talk came from corners of the fandom who objected to any new character who might take time away from Sam & Dean being together. They hated any plot or character that might split Sam & Dean up, unless it was for mutual angsting purposes. Either one of them getting a separate plotline with a lady was NOT on their wish-list, so they turned their ire on the female characters. There's generally a huge crossover with this group and the people that hated Cas, the Waywards, Mary, Rowena, Jack, and any other character - especially female - that threatened to take screen-time or attention away from Sam & Dean.
By contrast, it's often a high priority for male writers to hook their (male) hero characters up with some sexy ladies because, let's face it, most of the het (or repressed) male writers are coming from a deep place of social patriarchy, and are self-inserting their own wish-lists onto the characters. Kissing or sleeping with the hot girl (preferably girls, plural) is such a symbol of ultimate alpha-male success in our culture. Unsurprisingly, a lot of geeky, young, often introverted male writers feel a particular hole in that macho area.
So this is where the male-oriented writer's room and their unintended female fanbase had a huge conflict in the early seasons. The male writers and viewers just wanted to see Sam and particularly Dean, who they positioned as the ultimate male rebel hero, pick up hot chicks. Because that's their own basic, boring, somewhat immature heterosexual self-insert fantasy. They didn't even care if the women had personalities or not, they just had to be hot and fawning, or hot and evil (and therefore presumably dirty in bed). It's the same old 'lady in the streets/freak in the sheets' fantasy. And it's incredibly depressing in what it says about the general psyche of the average mid-20s/30s guy, in terms of what they really think or care about the worth of women, outside of ticking the sexual checkbox of a man's own socially-fragile ego.
(Yeah, I think we all know more than we're truly comfortable with about the inside of Kripke's brain by now. Although I do think he's developed - a bit - since SPN days, and is at least aware of this now).
But the women viewers, of course, weren't particularly interested in these 'ideal' male representations of women who are hot and flirt and at least have the potential for sex, even if it never happens. We couldn't relate to the flimsy paper-thin female conquest-of-the-week characters. We also had issues with all the older women being mom-coded, or at least mainly there to feed and scold any men who happened to need it (Ellen, Missouri). And of the younger women who became established characters - Bela, Jo, Ruby 1.0- they were positioned through the male gaze in so many skimpy crop-tops, leather pants and T&A camera shots that many of the female audience rejected them entirely, although there was a lot of judging them through the male gaze, not just because of it. The general female audience just saw them as antagonists or interferences, and the Bronlys hated them even more for taking Sam & Dean's attention away from each other. And because the women were so badly received, it was a disincentive for the show to try and write any other female characters with any intention of depth. It took until Season 7 for us to get Charlie, who was (I think?) the first recurring female character who was in neither a 'looking after men' role or a sexual interest role, and had her own distinct personality. And hey-guess what-the fandom liked her! Fancy that!
I wish I could remember who said this, but there was a truly amazing angry exchange at one point between the crew and fans, where someone (I want to say either Phil Sgriccia or Sera Gamble, but I'm not at all certain on that) had a huge go at the fans, blaming us for the lack of good representation. They said something along the lines of how maybe we'd have better female characters if we didn't hate all the female characters that they gave us, to which fans replied that maybe we wouldn't hate all the female characters if they wrote better female characters. That feedback loop ouroboros just kept on ouroborousing.
TL:DR; Patriarchy & misogyny screwed us all, basically, but damn if I don't find it all fascinating now.

so basically reverend lovejoy is a fallen angel/not technically a demon since he hasnt died and gone to hell and hes so pissed off about god that hes like “fuck this im gonna kill your followers bitch” so like 200 years after hes fallen he starts murdering christians lowkey over the years BUT ONLY AFTER they commit a sin so he knows for SURE they’re going to hell instead of heaven
hes chilling in european parts of the world mostly at first since they love jesus the most and then when american happens, he jumps his ass right on that boat and he moves all across the bible belt for like 300 years UNTIL the 1970s when he meets helen and is like aw fuck yes oh my god holy shit finally someone who GETS me. i will marry you immediately so we can be best friends forever (eventually it evolves to something more romantic but this is how it starts out)
SO THEY MOVE TO SPRINGFIELD (and in this canon i share with two, technically three, other friends of mine, springfield is a fucked up town where like time froze at some point or some shit idk im not the friend that works on that LOL thats Shattered Man Jokis’ job)
so at this point lovejoy has been on earth for 700 years total and that equals 7 days in heaven! so hes been gone a whole week.
god like, looks down at the earth, he’s doing a routine check, whatever, HE SEES LOVEJOY AND HE’S LIKE. OHHH MY GOD HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS FUCKING MENACE IS SO CLOSE TO MY MOST LOYAL IDIOT SUCKER NED FLANDER (lovejoy is definitely planning to kill flanders) so he sends his highest ranking most powerful angel possible to kill him before he kills ned (this wasnt a decision on my part, i just looked up the name seraphiel and apparently thats literally the name of the prince of angels so i was like. ok i guess this guy is prince bitch)
preface; god is an asshole. hes just an asshole. he gets all his power from the worship people give him and his angels are powerful because halos are something that literally gives the angel connection to god’s power and also connect them to a constant stream of god’s thoughts so instantly they know exactly what he wants done at any time (halos can be broken or ripped off; breaking them allows the connection to fade away which still leaves you with abilities for quite a little while after but ripping it off severs your connection permanently and removes almost all magical properties and is EXTREMELY painful. this is reserved for angels who have been banished from heaven USUALLY)
preface 2; after falling lovejoy’s only supernatural qualities he’s retained after so long are MINOR EXTREMELY minor shapeshifting and he’s crazy strong (his str + def are sososo high but nothing else really lol)
so seraph gets there, lovejoy immediately knows who he is, they get into an anime fight because those are my favorite types of fights, destroying everything wow awesome big huge and then somehow its fine three days later
seraph loses! because i think lovejoy is just that determined about not dying + he has plot armor, and they fight a couple more times, and seraph loses some more, so seraf’s like FUCK this i guess. and just decides to literally stalk the shit out of reverend to make sure he doesnt kill anyone else (”YOU COULD HAVE JUST LET ME KILL YOU BUT NOOOOOOW I HAVE TO STAND HERE, RIGHT HERE, SEVEN FEET BEHIND YOU, FOREVER.”)
he really doesnt need to do this? but hes so so fucking mad that he couldnt kill lovejoy he’s like “i cannot go back to the Lord and be like. yeah i fucking failed” ARE YOU KIDDING HE’LL DIE. so instead he just intently follows lovejoys every move
eventually they form a relationship and then they kiss and then seraph and helen kiss and they all kiss and wow its content not for anything other than for me to be interested in. all of this is tailored to me bc i really liked lovejoys design/voice/personality and it spiraled from there :)

A self-insert, fan fiction retelling of Digital Devil Saga 2 through the voice of a member of the Lokapala.

Summary: Holland, Roland, and the Embryon come off of a night of resting and recuperating to finish their encounter with the Lokapala's informant. After being advised to take the Society's gyroplane from the Tower to the EGG Facility, the entourage finds themselves navigating and battling their way through the Facility to find Sera. The Karma Society forces have become child's play to the Embryon, but there are a few tuners they are introduced to that are nothing to be laughed at.

Thankfully, our informant notified us that they were able to manage to lighten security again so we would be able to reach them, although the word was they were a bit annoyed that we didn’t follow through in a single day. Something must’ve happened during that time though because most of the Karma Soldiers all seemed to know something we didn’t and just simply told us that they weren’t going to fight us and to move along. The Chief Technical Director, as they worded it, was waiting for us. Roland and I kind of looked at each other funny—or rather, it was mostly me making the faces—because neither of us could have guessed our informant was so high up in the order of the Society. Then, to find out the Chief Technical Director was actually Jenna Angel was another thing all together.
           Jenna Angel was apparently into software development in some way shape or form, but her initial claim to fame was being a renowned environmental activist from the 2010 era, and must have been brought on to the International Environmental Stabilization Committee’s team because of that software expertise. During that time, she worked with researchers on Climate Change, with a section of the team working on its effects of Cuvier Syndrome, which was caused by something called Solar Data. I don’t know exactly what that entails, because I didn’t spend the time to study it all that thoroughly, but its said that they’re particles of some kind, and specific particles combine to make a code, like computer data.
           I didn’t really know what to expect when meeting her, but her resting face seemed relaxed in a smug, conniving kind of way, saying that our delay ended up being “worth the wait.” Like some media villain, she explained the wishes and desires of her nefarious plot to get us to kill Cuvier and allow her to wreak havoc amidst the remainders of the human population, turning everyone into Those Who Devour, and let the strong survive while the weak perished. It was quite chaotic of an outlook and just as devilish as Cuvier’s own scheme.
           According to what Cielo and Argilla had told me last night, Cuvier’s ploy was to essentially just expand what they already have functioning with their Processing Plant and the Karma Soldiers. Apparently, the Society also had one of their comrades—Heat, I believe his name was—on their side too, to do with as they pleased. He was persuaded under the guise of being able to help the Cyber Shaman. If we, the Embryon-Lokapala mix, were to find and help the Cyber Shaman in any way, we were to listen to what Angel has to offer and take the gyroplane on the roof of the Tower to the EGG Facility, where she was currently being held. We had to move quickly because Cuvier’s forces were on their way to the Director’s office.
           For a gyroplane, usually just a one or two person craft, the aircraft was excessively sizeable for what I had known them to be. It could have been practically a small helicopter, although fitting all five of us—since Cielo flew outside as Dyaus—was still a tight squeeze in regards to the larger size. To my surprise, but not so much to Roland’s surprise, or anyone else’s surprise for that matter, Gale was able to pick up how to operate the gyroplane seamlessly. It made a little bit more sense once remembering that they were AI in the military’s virtual reality simulation, but pilots and soldiers were still two different things with two different skillsets. I suppose that’s why they would have been considered super soldiers and not just regular ones.
           But, apparently, even super soldiers couldn’t make everything run smoothly. Looking out the window in a half trance like I’d find myself in while looking out the window of long car-rides, I noticed something large and fast headed towards the craft from bellow.

Well it's time for my daily rant 🤷‍♀️
I will start with whyy, just whyy it seems that, companies I used to like a lot are just going off killing characters I like??
I get it, there are a lot of puffly, fluffy happy endings out there but it is neceserary to force a bad ending? To force a character to die with no way back?
Playing for me it's different, I don't know about other people but in my case, games are a way to cope with stuff, I play them to relax, to self insert myself in another type of life, so characters are much more than characters to me, they are friends.
In dragon age series, they're my friends, I love sera craziness, varric being... Well, varric, solas being an smart ass, Dorian is like my bff in inquisition if I'm not romancing him.
So of course, when I started playing Harry Potter hogwarts mystery, OF COURSE , my bff Rowan was going to be my real bff. I often found myself thinking how, if a had a friend like Rowan in real life, I would be much happier. She was very special to me, I even though that at some point in the future, I might even see what a romance would be like with her, if any.
But nooo, jam city pulled the plot twist and killed the only one character I wish was steady, I'm not gonna hate and say why not Ben? Even though I'm also not very fond of him and his "change", but it was really necessary to kill Rowan? Why not get her badly hurt but alive? Wasn't this supposed to be a game for children??!
The grief is real my fellas.
I know, it's been a long time, by this point, the Fandom must have moved on, but I can't, even since learning of this, I couldn't pick up the game again... In fact because if I never play the chapter, Rowan is never going to die in my game... But yeah.
I got disconnected from it, I don't know what changes they made or how is the story progressing at this point, but I don't care.
Wich brings me to my next, long coming grief.
ELDARYA
Like, seriously? Beemov? I never expected anything from you and, oof, you still managed to disappoint me lol. I Knew there was going to be drama in the final chapters, and obviously someone was going to die, I actually was expecting the main character to do so. But woop, first CDM, and now this.
Killing romance options is really going to get your fan base excited isn't?
Like, Okey, valkyon? Death.
Lieftain? Death, I kind of saw this one coming but I... I wished it wasn't. Not many games introduced a Set, plot relevant, soul mate (as if, the one and only)
Ezarel? Leaving duh.
Main character? Death, but comes back, only that we don't know when (landscape completely changed) and obviously nothing is going to be the same.
I feel like we missed the point here, or I missed the point? I know they wanted to trow a season two, but if it's going to be like CDM S2 then no, I was one of the fortunate people whose favorite LI didn't get removed (castiel ) but even I can recognize that there was no need to cut Armin or Lysander (more so considering that Armin's twin, Alexis, is still in the game🙄 and Lysander was one of the FAVORITES LIs)
So yeah, I can totally see season two with new characters and cut off LIs, and I can totally see the Fandom rising again in a uproar of rage, and I wouldn't blame them, tho I will not be joining them.
Even since the fallout of CDM, I stopped caring for beemov as a company (lots of shady stuff, money hungry decisions) I was just fond of ELDARYA, I really like fantasy settings, but if it's going down the same path then sorry, no.
I guess this post is sort of a good bye to those games. It may seem like a silly reason, but it is reason enough and strong for me.
If something I used to do and enjoyed is no longer enjoyable, then what is the point? I can't do anything with it
And so I'm dropping them.
I might still come back to Harry Potter hogwarts mystery depending of how the game ends, but that's it.
(this almost reminds me when I started playing the red embrace: Hollywood. Man, was I disappointed lol)

WHAT EXPECTATIONS DO YOU HOLD TOWARDS YOUR PLOTTING PARTNER: Not too much? I’d like for there to be a plot in mind, but I can understand if that’s not the case. I’ve had instances where I want to interact with a character, but have absolutely no idea in mind. Usually sendign in an ask meme can help in that regard.
WHEN YOU NOTICE THE PLOTTING IS RATHER ONE-SIDED, WHAT DO YOU DO?:  I strive to not be one-sided myself, but I do have instances where I can’t think of anything. I’m not sure? Maybe ask the other person if they’re into it or if something else is at play (dealign with real life problems and it just affects their mood voerall).
HOW DO YOU USUALLY PLOT WITH OTHERS, DO YOU GIVE INPUT OR LEAVE MOST WORK TOWARDS YOUR PARTNER?:  I always try to give ideas of my own if I have any. Coming to a equally agreed, general idea is fine. I’ve had instances where I was on both sides of this, but I always try to add input and be equal with the other person.
WHEN A PARTNER DROPS THE THREAD, DO YOU WISH TO KNOW?:   YES / NO / DEPENDS. - AND WHY?: Sometimes I don’t notice it, but sometimes I do. Generally, I like to know, but I understand if someone doesn’t wan tto reach out. Just at least try to let me know and we’re fine. 
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY LEAD YOU TO DROP A THREAD?:  It depends really. Sometimes I just don’t have muse for a thread, or an instance where I have dropped a muse entirely. Sometimes it can be timing, but that’s rarely the issue. Most of the time it’s just I can’t think of anything and I feel like it hasn’t really gone anywhere? I have stuff in my queue for a while, so soemtimes it appears that way until it’s posted and I’m sorry about that.
WILL YOU TELL YOUR PARTNER?:   YES / NO / DEPENDS. ( I do have instances where I was forgetful and I haven’t told my partner int he apst adn I’m sorry about that. )
IS COMMUNICATION IN THE RPC IMPORTANT TO YOU? YES / NO. - AND WHY?: I don’t need to be tlaked every day, but stronger friendships ( ooc & ic ) are formed when I talk to a person. It doesn’t need to be often, but it helps me understand your chaarcter and your approach. With that, I can come up with ideas and understand you rmuse more. I understand if people aren’t fond of ooc chatting, that’s completely understandable to me.
ARE YOU OKAY WITH ABSOLUTE HONESTY, EVEN IF IT MAY MEANS HEARING SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT YOU AND/OR PORTRAYAL?: Criticsm is a good way to grow. Criticsm is different from completely bashing a perosn’s portrayal and not giving any pointers (ex: “your portrayal sucks.”). Or even for a person. If you feel like I am portraying something wrong, like depression or something similar, let me know. If you feel like Lydia’s adhd isn’t properly portrayed, let me know. 
DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HANDLE SUCH SITUATION IN A MATURE WAY? YES / NO.
WHY DO YOU RP AGAIN, IS THERE A GOAL?: All of my muses are written and taken an interest in for different reasons, sometimes I don’t even know why I decided to write them. I roleplay because I love exploring different characters and dyanamics and it’s easier for me to write like this than forming my own story. But a goal in mind? Be a good rp partner I guess? Or at least try to make things interesting and try my best to portray my characters correctly or in an intruiging manner. 
WISHLIST, BE IT PLOTS OR SCENARIOS:  Varies on muse. I have different plots in my wishlist tag: ( wishlist ). 
THEMES I WON’T EVER RP / EXPLORE:   Potential triggering content ahead. Rape, noncon, abuse, incest, drug use -not alcohol- ( lyrium I can write fine, it’s just the realistic stuff I can’t do. ), inappropiate under age stuff. Themes where I write a stalker. Sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and racism will never be mentioned by any of my characters. I won’t write smut probably ever, so themes with that I tend to not write. Very likely more, I just can’t think of anything. Within dragon age, I do have a characetr ( Sera ) who will refer to elves as elfy-elves and be pretty anti-elf, which can be triggering to others. Also, animal abuse or gore of any kind.
WHAT TYPE OF STARTERS DO YOU PREFER / DISLIKE, CAN’T WORK WITH?: I can’t work with starters that don’t really have any dialogue (handing something over with nothing vocally said is fine, but when someone is just sitting there, that’s harder to work with unless somethign is plotted). Generally, I like outside circumstances to be explained (locaiton, where in a game/setting this might be occuring, etc), I really like when dialogue is added and body landguage is explained/noted.
WHAT TYPE OF CHARACTERS CATCH YOUR INTEREST THE MOST?:  Honestly? it varies. I tend to really be into deep, complex characters or characters that appear can be sterred in that direction with more added. Bubbly, energetic characters, fighters (typically female). Quick witted or flirty characters & mysterious types. 
WHAT TYPE OF CHARACTERS CATCH YOUR INTEREST THE LEAST?:  I hate using the term but mary-sue/gary-sue. I hate saying that, but if a character has no flaws, I won’t be interested. Or characters that seem to just be placed there with no development. 
WHAT ARE YOUR STRONG ASPECTS AS RP PARTNER?: I try to add as much effort, or at least a lot of effort, in replies & interaction. I am very open-minded and when I get passionate about soemthing, you can really tell. I am easy-going, so feel free to tell me if you want to drop a thread or have a concern. I tend to work well of other’s people’s ideas, usually able to add my own.

Where my muse,w hose in the gang, will tell you rmuse about it and the whole aftermath of everything. Where their partner will understand to an extent, but try to undestand? if that makes sense? I also want enemies to work on a job/project together and deal with that. But this all also varies on muse.

Want a guy who seems nice, but can be an asshole with a flick of a dime, who has a secret betrayal plot hidden behind his back? Pick Robert. Want a guy who’s humurous but seems to be hiding under a fake persona? Pick Charley. Want a female assassin who’s very talented anr professional in her work to a fault with her work-alcoholic ways? Pick Evie. Want a sweet and caring character with a heart of gold and will give you advice and comfort? Pick Cassie It depends on the plot, too, but I try my best to add as much to reply to to another. If you ever want more added, tell me! I could give multiple plots, so it’s really hard to put something down.
WITH WHAT TYPE OF MUSES DO YOU USUALLY STRUGGLE TO RP WITH?:  If someone isn’t interested or outwardly hateful of my muse without a valid reason when starting to interact. Beign enemies is fine, but maybe we could write how it became that way? This really varies, so don’t let this steer you away. Just give me something to work with, brign soemthing to the tbale, and I’m usually fine.
WHAT DO THEY DESIRE, WHAT IS THEIR GOAL?:  Varies on muse. Robert: fame/recognition, a legend made out of him. Charley: just to live life happy? He wants to be okay money-wise. Evie: to take down the Templars & help the people of London, not fail and always be successful and outwit her foes. Cassie: everyone around her happy. Sean: His gang to be successful, btu also be sucessful himself, he wants to be admired as well.
WHAT CATCHES THEIR INTEREST FIRST WHEN MEETING SOMEONE NEW?:  Just using the same muses lmao. Robert: Someone who just listens to him and isn’t quick to make fun of him. Charley: If they have a sense of humor and someone he can stand, he’s pretty much fine tbh. Evie: If they can give her any information or aid with her cause. Cassie: How they are feeling. If they let her just listen and seem more open than closed off. Very personality-based. Sean: soemtimes looks, but mostly if they have a similar personality as him.
WHAT DO THEY VALUE IN A PERSON?:  Evie: devotion, kind spriit, efficiency, loyalty. Robert: willingness and empathy despite having little himself. Charley: Honesty. Cassie: Consistency. Sean: reliability. 
WHAT THEMES DO THEY LIKE TALKING ABOUT?:  generally all of them like books (except Sean), events around them, their interests.
WHICH THEMES BORE THEM?:  For half of them, anything mundane or boring. Anything that isn’t relating to anything that’s spoken around / surrounds them.
DID THEY EVER WENT THROUGH SOMETHING TRAUMATIC?:  Robert & Charley (more Robert) witnessed a murder, Robert actually doing that act. Cassie: hearing about the violent nature of her father’s death. Sean: the things he went through with the bounty hunters.
WHAT COULD LEAD TO AN INSTANT KILL?:  A gunshot or anything that could overpower them.
IS THERE SOMEONE /-THING THEY HATE?:  Sean: rich people, Scots for some reason, English people sometimes. When someone disagrees with him on soemthing he is passionate about. Pronouncing and Irish word wrong. O’Driscolls & anyone that’s an enemy of the gang. Evie: Templars, Starrick & Lucy Thorne. People who lie or misled her or others. Injustice. Robert: Someone makign fun of him tbh. Charley: People who don’t plan out anything or are really reckless.
IS YOUR MUSE EASY TO APPROACH?: YES / NO.    - BEST WAY TO APPROACH THEM?: Talk to them. Initiate a conversation. Pretty much that across the board.

Someone like them (Impractical AU fanfic)
(I'm bored and Inkline is jumping in my head for me to write this.)
(TW: Mentions of children dying, People being out of character (Maybe.), Self-insert, Plans of killing, street fight, small swearing, me attempting to write Filipino, guns,)
It was a calm, silent night, or so the citizens thought. News reports of kidnappers taking and or Killing children and taking their organs to sell for private parties has been giving the city horrible tention. Although, even at how dangerous it seems, two heroes are still on nightly duties, making sure that no child gets killed once again. They have a future and their families are obviously sad their children are now dead and gone. But that's why the mentioned heroes are on the case. The Princely hero, Prince Charging, (or Princey.) Has been on duty for about an hour, and still, no reports or anything suspicious. His partner, Copy Cat, has been making sure that the streets were silent. And it has been for how many hours already.
"Hey, Princey... I don't seem to like this... can we please call it a night?" The cat-like hero whimpered tiredly and in fear in seeing a child die in front of his eyes. "Don't worry about this Cat. We can't call it a night yet! Reports says that it's around this time the organ stealer takes the kids from either by the streets or their bedrooms. We can't back out yet." The confident, yet stubborn prince said.
"I know, but what if they pull the gun on the both of us!? We could die! And our boyfriends will be saddened!" Copy Cat whimpered once again, remembering he's still in a relationship, and so is Princey. The Prince paused for a moment, taking in his words. His boyfriend was always the overly-anxious one. And if he found out Roman had a double live, he'd freak out more and probably follow him each night and that could kill him. He sighed in defeat.
"I suppose... you're right. And besides, things have gotten too quite ever since that crazy celebrity neighborhood got burned down. And no news of the killings were made. I guess we can call it a night." He said, taking a final glance around the place, and he's glad he did because in a nearby park, someone was still there.
"WAIT, NOT YET. SOMEONE'S STILL AT THE PARK! Come on Cat, we gotta tell her to get home!" The Prince panicked, grabbing his partner's wrist and ran to the park. They were just about to tell her to go home, when they paused.
"When I was just a little girl, I asked my momma, what will I be? Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? Here's what she said to me... que sera sera, whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see, Que Sera Sera..."
There was a girl who seemed about 18. She had an almost all black outfit, except for her shorts and a small part of her skirt, which had purple in it. She seemed like any ordinary kid, till they saw what she wore on her face. A black and purple Butterfly-shaped mask and a yellow mouth mask. And despite her unusual appearance, she seemed to be also patrolling the area. And one minor detail people would miss out: Her eyes would flash a quick blue diamond every so often.
"Hey Princey? Do you think...?" Copy Cat whispered. "Yes. She'd definitely one of us..." Princey whispered back, realizing that he and his partner aren't the only ones who has powers. They realized a while back. But before any of them can say anything, the girl suddenly looked around as if she heard something. And she's pretty sure she did because she suddenly ran out of the park.
"Where is she going?" "I don't know, but it can be serious. We need to follow her!" And soon, the two of them were following her. It wasn't too long till they saw her behind a building, and seeing a small child, about 5, getting tied up and gagged by an actual gag.
"Good job, she's an easy target." A large man with a brown leather eye patch, presumedly about 40-50 said. He inspected the child as if she was a toy or a piece of meat. "5? Perfect. Her organs should be good enough for the trade." He said evily. "Oi, boss, may namatiag ko di." His partner said in a laungue that was hard to understand. "Ano? Sure ka ha? Sige sige. Bilis mo Yan. Makikita pa ta di gani." The man said. Prince Charging and Copy Cat stayed extremely silent while the unknown girl was secretly filming it and taking pictures. The 5-year-old child squirmed and cried.
"TULONG!!!" She cried loudly, but was cut off by the gag covering her mouth again. "Keep it down girly! Do not make me kill you at this exact spot!" The partner threatened, grabbing his knife and slit her cheek, which made her squirm more. Princey tried to be silent and come up with a plan, but he was releasing too much small energy and static that it caused some of the street lights to flicker. Copy Cat, out of fear he might need it, spilt himself into two. The girl's eyes just flickered that diamond shape repeatedly. And the amount of flicking got the criminals concerned.
"Sh*t. It's gonna get dark soon. We gotta go." The 40-50 year old pedo said, grabbing the 5-year-old child and entered the car. At that point, Princey had about enough and set his electricity powers to the car, making it suddenly lose battery.
(Random person: BUT FRISKIES, GIVING OUT ENERGY MAKES THINGS COME BACK TO LIFE NOT KILL IT YOU RETA-
I know, I know! But I feel like there should be a way for him to AT LEAST stop the car. Pretend the energy he bashed out was... a negative energy. And used a lot of it to over-heat the car ok? I'm currently in "Practice" and I don't have data to research your scientific BS. Capishe?)
"DIP*TA! Ngaa nadula batteria nya!?" The man yelled, fumbling with the keys. "It's because of Negative energy!!!" Princey yelled and used his power to make an electric rope, lassoing it around the car and made attached it to a nearby pole, which was luckily metal.
(And before you say, I don't know how this works. So I'm sorry if it's inaccurate. I suck at Physics)
"WHO THE F*CK ARE YOU!?" The partner yelped, seeing the princely hero trap them. "I am Prince Charging, the Prince and hero of this town, and I will not let you take this child!" The prince said in his pose. The two men went out the car and took out their guns. "Oh yeah, try to act all tough now Princey boy because you're dead!" The mad yelled before he started shooting at the prince, who managed to dodge each of the bullets, and even creating an electric barrier in case he slipped. Copy Cat slowly entered the car and saw the small child cry.
"Shhh, it's ok. I'm here to help you. Now come on, I'm gonna get you out." He whispered, but the partner had put a gun on his head, making Copy Cat flinch. "Any last words?" The man said. Cat smirked.
"Why don't you look behind?" He said, making the man look behind and a second Copy Cat was there, hitting his head with a rock, making the man fly to the side, and groaned when he fell. "TWINS!?" He said. "Nah. More like a double. No need to exSPLIT it because we got the girl." Cat said, carrying the girl and placing her close.
"Hah, but I still have a gun!" The man said before grabbing a back-up gun and attempted to shoot Cat, but since his head was bleeding, he couldn't concentrate and kept on missing. Meanwhile, Prince Charging was trying to out-smart the old man and managed to kick the gun out of his hands and zapped it in the air, making it shatter. He smirked cockily, looking at the criminal.
"Hah! Nice try. Now surrender and we'll make it fast." The prince demanded. But the old man wasn't done yet, cause he just threw the prince a punch in the face. But all that did was made the old man jolt. "Please, have some class. This isn't a bar fight." Princey said before punching the old man's face. He was gonna take another punch when the man grabbed his fist, the prince's barrier wearing off.
"Hah! Nice try pretty boy. You need to learn some MANNERS." The man said before he punched Princey's face down to the ground. Yet, before he could give him more punches, something made him slow down. He looked down to see some type of slime, and soon, it dried off like Cement.
"What the-!?" Princey said before looking to his right and saw the girl from the park earlier with her left hand up and her right hand near her chest, clutching a box cutter. "Don't worry! I caught everything and sent it to the police! They should arrive soon!" She said, her eye still maintaining the diamond and fear. "Why you little-" The partner tried to shoot her but she ran out of the way before he could and shot out some type of slime off her hand, hitting the man's hand with the gun. It dripped but quickly dried up. Even with that the man managed to punch her to the ground, and he would've did it if Princey didn't shock him and made him pass out. The female "Hero" panted, knowing she just stopped something serious. The princely hero helped pull her up back on her feet.
"I must say, you have an incredible move." He complimented, making her blush lightly. And soon enough, the cops appeared.
"FREEZE PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" One said. The girl turned to run but Princey took her wrist. "Wait. Who are you? Why do you have this power?" He asked in a calm voice. She hesitated but said "The Anxious Hero." and went off his grip and ran off. He watched as she forcefully ran out till a cop tapped his shoulder.
"You're lucky that there's only two. There are still more around, but at least we caught some. Thank you Prince Charging." He said. "You're very much welcome officer." "PRINCEY WATCH OUT!" Copy Cat yelled before the 40-50 year old man pinned him to the ground.
"IS THERE ANY MORE OF YOU!?!?" "Wh-" "IS THERE ANY MORE OF YOU!?!?!?" The man started laughing maniacally. "I knew it! I knew that there are still more of your kind out here! The one who takes will stop you!!! HE WILL STOP YOU!!! READY CARRON!?" "SIR WAIT-" and at that moment, he and his partner shot themselves in the head. The cops, Copy Cat, Prince Charging and the small girl all froze in awe and disbelief. Who was "The one who takes"? Why did they shoot themselves? But, they were too shocked to notice the small smoke coming from the two men's mouths and disappear into the night.

Me replaying Inquisition has me thinking about how my self insert would deal with
- being away from Kirkwall and away from her beloved (have a guess who that is)
- Having a Dalish Inquisitor asking her about her heritage as her Father is a Dalish Mage. Madilyn would know Elvish and Dwarvish.
- Varric taking the piss out of her work and her shitting on his books (it's in jest)
- The Inquisitor asking her to help poor Cullen with solider management, she did work as a Kirkwall guard before becoming infatuated with somehow trying to learn magic.
- joining in one some of Sera's pranks, Sera calls her Shortstack, Madilyn calls her Pixiecut.
- what if there was a quest to bring her parents to Skyhold and shes like "no they have to stay back in Denerim they can't come to skyhold" but they end up coming anyway.
- she never told them she was there after leaving Kirkwall.
- Scolding happens (by her Mother)
- Shes friends with all Inquisitors (regardless of race!)
With Human!Inquisitiors she is dying to know more of their culture since she counts as a surface Dwarf.
With Dalish!Inquisitors she wants to know more about Dalish culture as her Father is a Dalish Mage. She finds her birth strange and wants to know if they'd accept her.
With Dwarf!Inquisitors while Madilyn has some issues with the Carta she will not begrudge a Dwarf!Inquisitor for their past.
And Qunari!Inquisitors Madilyn is in awe of their strength, height and prowess. Wants to know if the women can have long hair and some of their culture (she's more open to learning then most)
