I don’t have a specific ship i'm particularly loyal to, so I guess I’ll rate them and also provide my own headcanons:

(disclaimer i dont know ship names so imma just try my best)

Trine-shipping: yes, put the three of them together, I don’t care. familial, sexual, romantic, platonic, its all good. I go crazy seeing them stand next to each other in the cartoon what do you want from me.

thunderwarp: I see this one a lot and I quite like it. these two being mates with starscream doing his own thing kinda makes sense considering starscream has a bunch of other ships. also makes it fun when something happens to one of them and starscream is left in the awkward position of having to deal with that.

thunderstar: been thinking about this one more lately. they’re like foils to each other. thundercracker’s a good boy to starscream’s bad boy, and he does such a concern about all the morally dubious stuff starscream gets up to. but at the same time, he admires starscream’s ambition and rizz and starscream the kinda bot that would pull you so high if you followed him. I think out of anyone, starscream is the closest to actually trusting thundercracker. 

starwarp: i had this thought one time of what if skywarp is like the horniest asexual and starscream is the most traumatized aromantic, and how would that even work XD nothing solid in the works just an idea that I had. ive seen these two less often outside of trine shipping but it can be pretty hot. I like when they are being protective of each other. I always see skywarp as more emotionally open than his trinemates and starscream can use some of that open and honest emotional love and care. someone to forcfully make him accept being loved. someone who will actually push back when he’s being stupid. and with skywarp being loyal to megatron, so much angst potential for both of them.

starbee: im a sucker for the whole ghost bee starscream dynamic. I already made a post about these two, and after all this time I still really enjoy this ship. I think characters that don’t actually like each other at first but grow into a mutual respect is so tasty. I think some people don’t like the ship because they headcanon bee as too young? well, starscream is actually younger in my fic lmao, but also they’re like 6 million years old and are born with full adult processing capabilities, I don’t think age matters here :P its less about intimacy for me anyway. I like them together because of how much it takes to get there. 

starwavewave: okay this one is 100% fueled by tfone but guyssss guysss theyre married and megatron is their son and im just aaaagh dont seperate them! such a kookie dynamic, the cool headed soundwave, the emotionally volatile shockwave, the arrogant yet cowardly starscream, all being fail dads to their little scamp leader. hahaha. high command polycule 

megastar: gasp, rated above skystar. yes, I just find this dynamic more interesting. I like an abusive ship sometimes for the angst but I also enjoy seeing megatron when he isnt abusive? kinda catharsis maybe. I read a fic once where the war is over and starscream invites megatron to one of optimus’ high profile parties and is appalled at megatron showing up in robot equivalent of underdressed, meanwhile megatron the working class miner is like “I washed, what else was I supposed to do” XD and I just love that haha. theres just so many ways to take it. I wont be doing any megastar in my au, I just tag anything that has megatron and starscream interacting with megastar cuz thats the dynamic to me

skystar/jetstar: iddkkkkk i know this is the most popular ship but it’s just!! idk! its not as interesting to me haha. I love this as a past ship, they were roommates in college, starscream opened himself to someone, chose to become close and then was hurt by it. just another wound on starscream’s spark before he ever even meets megatron. I don’t think theyd get back together after the ice. idk how well I can write this so I’ll just explain how it happens in my au here: skyfire died and starscream created this version of skyfire in his mind that was perfect, he memorialised him because he was dead! you just cant live up to how someone remembers you. I think that was part of the reason why starscream reacts so badly when skyfire “betrayed” him. unlike thundercracker, skyfire knows how to set healthy boundaries. not to mention he’d been on ice for four million years, lost his entire life, everyone he knows, and his entire civilisation, planet, and culture to a war he had no part in. bot’s gonna be upset. pissed off even. skyfire shouldnt have to be some soft sparked punching bag for starscream, he’s kind and a pacifist but he’s also going to get upset and have feelings. I think starscream’s betrayal would hit pretty hard, he’d gonna be upset about how much starscream’s changed, how much damage starscream helped cause during the war, and also starscream shooting him in the back for wanting to protect the native wildlife! when they properly talk to each other again it’s going to be heated on both sides, and I think after some hard work from both sides they could end up in a place where they are willing to be friends again, but I don’t think they’d conjunx. skystar isnt end game to me, but it is canon and an important part of the story

starop: I think ive read one fic where I really liked this ship. it’s just such a random pairing. my initial reaction is just noooo optimus prime?? but that guy’s everyone’s dad! Ive been told a big part of it is they’re both megatron’s ex’s and that’s pretty funny. not for me sadly haha (opxmegatronoldmanyaoiotpfrfr)

starjack…wheelstar? whatever the starscream and wheeljack one is. I’m not into this one. I see where people are coming from with it, but wheeljack isnt an interesting character to me. they can be science bros tho

starscream and windblade: ive seen this like once or twice. not for me. windblade is like, starscream’s daughter or something idk XD 

soundstar: uuuh i dont see it. sorry! i legit have no thoughts on soundstar. theyre coworkers XD. ive seen fics where the seekers are really young and soundwave moms them, and that’s really cute. okay, I like soundwave as a caretaker if the seekers are young, but yeah I don’t think I understand this one. 

shockstar: nooooooo. tho ironically theres more canon content there to fuel this one than soundstar (is this emotion?) but still no XD I don’t even hate shockwave! let him be sunstorm’s dad, that’s cute. but no, shockewave too creepy. no ship. they are also coworkers

what other ship is there even? oh yeah

starprowl: this is apparently a really popular ship?! I guess in a way prowl is sort of like the autobot’s starscream, undermining his leader, arrogant, willing to do the dubious play. they’re both ruthless. I like this one better than starjacked, but its still an odd pairing to me.

oh! knockout and starscream, i can kinda see it? like, as a rebound after breakdown? I like knock out and breakdown, so I’d only see these two as like friends or if something happened to breakdown. they’re a LOT of fun when they interact tho heh heh, perfectly clashing personalities

on the topic of tfp, I guess starscream and arcee is a ship? I can see this similar to my enjoyment of starbee, they’d have to work reeaally hard for this one to work but they have had potentially positive interactions in the show (before starscream screws it up) so its possible in a better world where starscream doesnt suck they could become friends. him killing cliffjumper is gonna be a huge hurdle tho! 

dont talk to me about airachnid

do people ship starscream and ratchet? I don’t ship it, but I do really like interactions between them. starscream is so terrible but he also gets hurt a lot. ratchet is grumpy and prejudice but he’s the best doctor and he’ll fix him up! I like when something terrible happens to starscream and ratchet cant help but feel bad for the guy. that’s the good stuff.

lastly i have been asked a few times on trinebee. im assuming this is bumblebee and the trine. i hadnt thought about it but it makes sense! if youre a starbee shipper, but you also support trine propaganda, then it only makes sense to bring bee into the trine. also bee and thundercracker are friends! the only ones who havent really had any interaction is bee and warp, and honestly idk if I see those two getting along but bumblebee is everybody’s friend so XD I’m sure it’ll work out!

and i think those are all the thoughts i have on the ships! 

no hate on anyone who ships any of these!!! you all do what you do, these are just my opinions, and honestly I’m just not a huge shipper to begin with haha. I am…unsure if there will be any shipping content in my au, I write my scenarios very much “canon but to the left” and so it comes out very sex-less because romance and intimacy is just not the type of content I’m in the business of writing. but, idk, i think about it sometimes. sometimes I think about the end of chapter one of thundercracker’s origin, the night starscream took thundercracker out on a not-date. i think, who knows, in some version of the story maybe they shared a kiss? maybe they went back to the apartment and things went further? maybe. but of course, in every version of the story, starscream is gone the next morning.

Headcanons 4 Mr Qi and/or Gunter since they barely have any headcanons

Okay so like. I'm gonna be real, I don't really think about these characters much 😂 Mr. Qi I think about sometimes because he is kissing and holding hands with my friend's farmer but that's the extent of my thoughts. So I'm gonna come up with these on the fly, hope you like them anyway!

Headcanon A:  realistic

Gunther probably lives outside of town and commutes in, he kind of strikes me as the type to be very invested in his work more than the town? So I feel like he studied to be a museum curator and this was the only opening he could find, but he never really settled into town with everyone else. That's my reasoning for why he's not at festivals or really all that active as a part of the town.

As for Mr. Qi, up until I met people who write fics about him and draw him, I genuinely thought he was just meant to be ConcernedApe's meta self-insert character. Kind of like how the Wandering Minstrel is for Yoshi-P, in ffxiv? I feel like the likeness is a little similar (but blue lol) and Mr. Qi is so tied to perfection/completion I kind of.. just assumed... lol maybe that's weird to say but I never considered him as a unique character until somewhat recently! I don't mean anything bad by that and I'm happier to think of him as being his own character now, but that was my first impression anyway!

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Mr. Qi is Sebastian's absent father gdsjgkjd I don't genuinely believe this BUT I was playing the downtown zuzu city mod and I saw there's a Mr. Qi club in it and there's a poster of Sebastian (and I think the modder's farmer? Not sure) and I showed it to my friends who were like.. well clearly he's looking out for Seb I guess and my next thought was like omg yeah because he's his dad secretly 😂 it's perfect!! (I mean really I have been developing an OC as Seb's dad but shhhh it's silly, enjoy the silly)

I've seen people speculate that Gunther is a ghost and I think it's so funny to think about. First of all... that a ghost would be like... oughhh I must complete my museum collection before I can pass on ouuughhghghghhhhh LOL and also that a lot of characters seem to interact with him but no one has caught on! It's so silly.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

I'm not really sure... maybe just that they are both so lonely... :'C Mr. Qi may speak in riddles but maybe that's just his special interest and he needs a pal! Gunther needs to complete his collection but also like.. maybe he'd also want someone to ask him about his day... 😖 idk lmao I'm being so silly and so unserious, I don't really have anything in mind for this!

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

Ummm see this conflicts me because it's like, unrealistic but canon to me, basically? But to me like, it's so canon and real that Mr. Qi holds hands and kisses my friend's farmer.. but that's not unrealistic that's actually SO realistic and based also 🥰 they get little mocktails at the casino together and sit beside the lake in the oasis at midnight... He gives her his jacket because she's chilly in the night air of the desert...! Rahhhh

As for Gunther, I'd wanna think he's more of an active member of the community. I know for gameplay reasons he never could be, but it's fun to think about. Imagine him chatting with Penny, Maru, Seb, Caroline, Elliott, and the farmer about what books they're reading when they come to borrow some. :3 Trying to find obscure almanacs and recipe books for the farmer, books about exotic teas and gardening for Caroline, and all the best fiction in the genres of romance, sci-fi, and fantasy for the others 😊 Again it's not really unrealistic, but rather, what I see as being most canon for him in how I interpret the character!

YESSS, i have a couple! Most of them are from the 2000s. I don't know most of their names but I'll try and show some of them.

I mostly lean into the late 2000s aesthetic from the internet. I'm unfortunately a Hikikomori so i spend most of the day and my life on the web so i love stuff with anime, things that have to do with yaoi and other stuff like that.

About weirdcore: I love yume nikki, does that count? Kinda, maybe.

I do like weirdcore but not as much as i did in like 2019 when i was just starting to figure out who i was in this life jsjsj

I LOVE the chocolate + japanese + 2000s aesthetic, i really love it. Makes me feel comfy. I wish i would get some of those korean samsung flip phones one day <\3

Also this, it makes me feel like home(?) i think most of my aesthetic choices and likes are just nostalgia based.

I also think most of my most loved aesthetics and visions come from art that i love. Im a great art fan, i love art and live for it basically, really passionate so i guess most of the time im thinking of these and obviously the ones i talked and showed before

I remember doing this one post as a little fun game for everyone to share 3 characters that inspired their main characters. But since you asked for just one and it has to be a Disney character, guess I’ll do that.

Asha = Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

Sueño = Aladdin

Magnifico = Hades (Hercules)

(I don’t have a solid personality for the 7 teens since they’re not going to have as big of a role. I do have their key traits in my notes so I can look back to it as a guide. But I’m just going to go with the flow when writing their scenes.)

2. More Rani Loreeeeee

I haven’t even finished a final outline for the main plot of the RFTS!story, so idk even for a sequel. Maybe I’ll do some random drawings of family bonding moments and just him being a precious little guy.

(Hypothetically speaking, IF both Asha and Sueño survive the tragedy I’ll inflict on them. I mean what- who said that?)

All I know for Rani is that he’s someone who’s not sure what is the one thing he’s passionate for. And in this kingdom where everyone is so sure what they want and striving to achieve it, he feels lost. Surely, people only have one passion, right? Why can’t he find and settle for one?

Whenever he finds something he could be passionate about, Rani feels icky at the thought of just permanently sticking to it from now on. But at the same time, he criticises himself for being ‘irresponsible and indecisive.’

He “longs” to know his place and know what he wishes to do exactly. Rani doesn’t like being told, “But you’re so talented!!” because he personally thinks it’s unhelpful. It doesn’t make his choice of picking one passion any easier.

He also doesn’t really like vague answers to his questions and gets frustrated with it. “Believe in yourself.” “You’ll get there.” “Keep going!” “You’ll know it when you feel it.” “I don’t know what you’re aspiring to do, but I bet you’ll do great.” Well guess what? He doesn’t know what he’s doing either. :D

Also: *G A S P*. Not a strong believer of Wishing stars nor looking to the sky for answers! 😱 Rani prefers to “see-it-to-believe-it.” A more down to earth person who wants real solutions, not just hoping for something to magically happen.

Ehhhhh, I’ll say he has general knowledge in magic and just about anything he finds interesting and gets his hands on. Not really star magic, though he has the skill of a fast-learner when learning about regular magic. Again, Rani’s existence may or may not be hypothetical. 🤷

4. Does Hopes & Dreams have any other pet names for each other?

Sueño is not really one for pet names since he adores Asha just as she is, including her name. But in his head and through the sign language he eventually learns, he does sometimes call her: “Love or My Sky”

(I love “My Sky” so much because it FITS him. He loves the feeling of freedom and is claustrophobic. So he’s basically saying he feels so free and happy to be around her. Also, *coughs* Bo. “Sky”. My Sky. “Cielo”. Amirite? This was unintentional, I swear-)

For Asha, she calls Sueño: “Starlight, Mi Sueño (this is her fav one ofc), Sunny (though this is more general), Hon/Honey.”

For the last one, I have a silly headcanon that Sueño comes to have honey as one of his fav foods. It sort of rhymes with his other nickname, “Sunny,” and Asha thinks it’s hilarious to tease him with the “honey” nickname when he gets all sticky.

Idk why I even came up with this, but the thought that he’ll eat anything, even food he usually doesn’t like, that is dipped in honey on it is just funny, okay? And it connects to Hal too since I remember she’s meant to be a beekeeper. (This may also be a cute little reference with Winnie the Pooh if Sueño shapeshifts. Hehehe)

Btw, stars can taste but not go hungry. Like how they touch and feel stuff but not feel pain when inflicted or hit by something. If it’s dark magic, then that’s the only exception and they can feel pain.

5. If Ashueño is similar to a genderbent Rapunzel, what dynamic is the royal couple like?

Idk actually. I made Amnifico or ‘Grand Despair’ from scratch without referring or getting inspired by any couple I know. It’s mostly songs and vibes I’ve collected to create their dynamic. Same with Ashueño. The Rapunzel similarity was not intentional. 😅

(I think you should be worried because my RFTS!Spotify playlist has lots of angst- lol.)

Uhhhhhhh, maybe Grand Despair can be something akin to Charity and P.T Barnum from the Greatest Showman. But darker and eviler.

A guy who promises something for his beloved, gets carried away, and eventually forgetting what this was all for in the first place. :3

Hopes and Dreams:

“Soulmates/Fate” (I think we can all agree that these two are meant to be, either platonically or romantically, in any universe both AU and Canon.)

8. Are the other characters’ wishes important to the story?

Hmmmmm. I guess they influence the narrative and further establish the conflict of the story.

Like, the characters are used to just taking the easy way to achieve their dreams by waiting for the day Magnifico grants them one morning. They can make as much as they want. Unbeknownst to them, they’re stuck in this cycle of always wanting more but never satisfied.

They keep wishing and wishing, believing that they have no chance of reaching it on their own without their king’s help.

I’d like the main theme to be: not being afraid to dream big and “Reach for the Stars” but you shouldn’t expect grand things to just come to you instantly. You’ll need to take faith and work for it. Why? Because the whole journey getting there, regardless of the many struggles, is worth it and it sure is something to look back and be proud of.

It sure is what Walt Disney did, isn’t it? :)

9. What Hazbin character is each RFTS!character like?

It’s kind of difficult to pick from the Hazbin cast what each RFTS!character is like since one plot is based off of dreams and everything nice while the other is literally based in hell. 😂

But I’ll try:

Asha:

Emily was the closest I could think of. (Since I literally couldn’t think of anyone else. Oof-) Not really referring to the happy, excited part of her. More like the “I believe these people deserve a lot better than this” and eventually finding her voice to stand up against authority for the people she cares about.

Sueño:

No, not the aggressive and assertive side of Vaggie. Lol nope. More like getting attached to the MC that helped them get back onto their feet, warmly welcomed them in this strange new world, and now they would do anything to help them get their dreams come true whatever it takes.

(Also, a secret they’re keeping that’s eating them up inside with guilt and constantly worrying that the MC would hate their guts if they knew. Oops-)

Magnifico:

I’d say the fake-ass showmanship he puts out in public but in reality, he’s really done and exhausted with his audience. He’s still pretty charismatic when he wants to be but I can see him losing his cool quite easily, leading to outbursts.

Amaya:

Idkkkk. The main cast of Hazbin don’t really fit RFTS!Amaya’s vibe so I just went with Lilith despite how we know nothing about her at the moment. (This is probs gonna age badly-)

She’s a parental figure to someone who trusts her a lot but in reality, her motivations might not be what they seem. She could be willing to sacrifice other people if it means she gets a benefit out of them.

A peek behind the curtain... Rain World doesn't have any official constellations, so I'm kind of just making up my own. The nebula I talked about in the post is in the real-world constellation Taurus (the Bull), and Rain Deer were the closest Rain World creature I could think of to that.

#Hmm. I didn't know you couldn't tell there is liquid water on a planet far away? But I guess it makes sense! Most stuff in space is either#Gas or solid or plasma (as far as I know) so like... If you wanna analyze stuff in space you make your instruments detect that

You can determine the contents of an exoplanet's atmosphere by looking at its spectra. You're looking at the spectrum of a star's light as it passes through the planet's atmosphere, so by comparing this to the star's spectra without the planet in the way, you can tell what is in the planet's atmosphere. You can indirectly study exoplanets this way, without seeing them directly. It's neat!

#And I'm guessing 'void sea' is a metaphor and void isn't actually liquid?? Maybe. If it was I would think one would develop an instrument t#See if stuff is liquid in space far away...

"Void fluid" is a fictional substance in Rain World that is very closely tied to the game's lore. It's implied to be a liquid, and the Void Sea is a physical sea full of the fluid. I won't go into much further because the nature of the Void Sea is a massive game spoiler, lol. But you do get to learn about it in-game!

I personally headcanon Void Fluid to be an exotic form of matter. Neutron stars and pulsars are theorized to have a very extreme, poorly understood form of matter under their surface, and studying the "glitches" I mentioned in the post might help us understand it. It's a stretch, but maybe by understanding matter under extreme conditions TSAC could draw conclusions about Void Fluid as well.

#Woah!!! They see earth/earth equivalent!??

That's what I'm implying, yes. :]

There's no evidence for it in-game, but I like to think that Rain World takes place on an alien planet and not Earth.

A lot of the stuff on my ask blog is personal headcanon that deviates somewhat from actual Rain World canon... in a way a lot of the asks I've answered are my personal theories about how to reconcile real-world concepts with some of the lore of Rain World that might not make total sense. I might be giving a warped view of the game's lore if my blog is the only source of information about it, lol.

#hope my “no lore knowledge or deeper space knowledge”-ramblings aren't annoying but entertaining somehow#Idk. I find it entertaining to see how people connect pieces into a logical-ish order when they don't have all the pieces#Sometimes. Other times it's frustrating. But watching someone in the middle of a story with an overarching mystery that you have seen#the ending of... And seeing their theories and how they differ from yours is interesting.#hope this is more like that than... Idk. The frustrating part of watching someone not being able to solve a video game puzzle.

I don't mind! I think it's interesting to see the thoughts of someone with very little knowledge of the Rain World canon... I try to make my posts at least somewhat accessible to people who might not be familiar with the lore. What genre do you prefer reading?

Honestly I’ll read anything, except like modern day romance or regular fiction, there has to be a little spice to the setting to get me interested.

What music do you listen to while writing?

I have different playlists for certain WIPS, usually the songs reflect the characters or general setting. LOTH has a bunch of southern gothic and ambient horror music bc, well…spoilers.

Favorite movie is Everything Everywhere All At Once, and my favorite book (if it counts) is Impressions of Aure.

Any current WIPs?

Currently working on Our Lonely Ocean, but I’ve got back into writing LunuL and Viscered after a hot second.

Not a huge fan of killing off characters for shock bait then not exploring the consequences of their death (looking at you Game of Thrones and JJK), but, when I think it will be a gut puncher while ALSO having consequences, I’ll do it.

Iced Coffee, milk, or just water.

Slow or fast writer?

Decently paced, but some days when I haven’t eaten and my blood sugar is high and I zoom through the document like a NASCAR driver.

Oof, that’s tough. The things that inspired me to write are the Drakengard and NieR games, Drakengard 3 specifically. I swear to god that game has influence in everything I write.

i havent seen the show in a while so what i remember is rusty and i dont think tim was rlly there a bunch so i only have like 3 hcs im srry BUT to make up for it i will go into depth about them kinda sorta, and by hcs i mean aspects of his character i liked in the show and just went “yea thats tim im including that in my tim most definitely” but i do have like 2 hcs

mostly based off that one rumble episode, BUT i hc that after dallys death, tim became not close but definitely not a stranger to the curtis gang, he doesnt rlly hang out w them or anything like that, but he does see them quite a bit and talks to them, and especially teams up w them when they need it, think of tim as what dally was to the gang, the guy who came n went but was down w them, but in his own “yall cool but i got a gang to lead so ill help darry a bit when it comes to handlin yall” way if that makes any lick of sense

1 -2. Title: New Icon :]. New Nea icon cause its been a while since I have drawn him :]. I do like having myself as my icon but Nea is my mascot and I like how chibi this came out.

3. Title: I need a idea 44 [original filename]. Artblock? Just tired? Melting from the current heatwave here? [Yeah but still]. Point is haven't really been drawing much lately. So here is a sketch I had lying around of an attempt to slightly redesign Meta [I wanted to give her bigger paws and more face fluff like an actual lynx].

4. Title: Met-a Cute. Hi my brain has been pestering me to draw a cute Meta for a while so here's this, its a bit rough but overall like how it came out. In doing this I tried to do a pose I haven't done before without a ref so the pose probably looks at least a bit off lol. As well as that I had fun with the symmetrical tool [for the big butterfly] and even made a very quick brush! [those little butterflies in the back].

5. Title:   What the 'dog' doing? The slightest design update, he now has hands rather then paws [oh and his scythe is now cooler now :]] Need to figure out how to get his eyes to look properly creepy though. Also I tried to do something interesting with the perspective and shading.... -w-

6. Title: Horse. This is a week or so old but didn't know what to do with it so just slapped some yellow and purple light and a bunch of sparkles :], the hair shading looks kinda nice!

7 -8. Title: Metamorphosis * Glitter. Just wanted to make another of these pixel glitter gif with little pixel borders things with Meta... Like how it came out [especially the shading and the border] :]

9. Title:  Just a Lynx. Just wanted to draw a little Meta, cause its been a a bit. Shading is a bit scuffed but eh, whatever.

10. Title: Catboy Jumpscare! I finished this a few days ago but keep delaying posting it to get the energy to not just leave this with a blank desc. Like 100% of my writing anything energy for the past few days has been going into the yuri game jam submission I posted about a few days ago [which is currently at a whole 300 words! /sarcastic [I am not good at dialogue at all].

11. Title: My at least once a year pinkie. Been to long since I have drawn my favourite pink pony :] Even tried to make it look like a birthday card [ish], I also made a little confetti brush :]

12. Title:   Metamorphosis now in 3D! A little Paint 3d thing? Feels a bit weird to call it a model as most of the parts are just 3d shapes in front of eachother. Also I didn't mean for the image to be so small but that's how big I made the model I guess??? Oh and the little glitchy looking stuff in the back is a brush I made :].

13. Title:   Metamorphosis now in Motion! I have been trying to get into animating and I been starting with this very uh... square style? cause its alot easier than my usual style. That right ear is very scuffed though lol, but the rest didn't come out that bad! [for someone that can't animate well]. I think maybe I should try more tweening rather than frame by frame like this one.

14. Title:  Them. Just a little thing of my immortal giant sentient plushies... particularly when they were younger, they look alot more like plushies when they get older [they get a bunch of stitches and scratches]. Hope that its possible to tell that there eyes and mouths are shiny plastic [which is why they can't change expressions, faces are just plastic.]

15- 19. Title: Sparkly Unicorn. Uuh wanted to make a very very simple little pixel thing but ended up just adding more and more stuff.... had alot of fun! I made the pixel star brush and the lil heart border : D Oh and Petal still does have the verrrrrry long hair but couldn't figure out how to fit it all in so gave her some short ponytails : ] Looks cute

20. Some arm practice stuff, yeah not very great at arms [or legs] yet but at least I'm practicing. Sorry just verytired so idk what to say…

21. Title:   An anthro raccon idk. Hi! been a bit busy but hopefully will be able to post more! Worked on these over a few days... originally was going to be more simple but just added more and more little accessories..... Shading the little chains and studs took soooo long [though thankfully didn't decide to draw the chains individually, just made a chain brush for that :]] Also the slight texture over everything was an attempt at a 'tv static' brush, not sure how well it will work for that but its nice for texture [love when digital art has texture to it!]

Also that clamp somewhat used his as plot device (?). Ik he appeared in Tsubasa too but I feel like I'd have easier time getting college degree than understanding trc ending

So yea, I basically lack info on Clow to form an option that isn't based on jokes and what I've learned from fandom

Seisub ofc. If I had to sort them then X>TB>TRC versions. They're just so... written. Honestly in the end it doesn't even come to whether one ships them or not, bc their story altogether is a very powerful tragedy. Also I'm generally non-emotional person and extremely hard to emotional affect (literally over 95% of media I watch leaves no profound effect on me) but two of them (TB/X in general), damn did it cut. Damn does their story cut in deep, not just in terms of romance, but in terms of lonliness and isolation of modern cities; in terms of tragedy, character development and complexity of human nature and interpersonal relationships. Honestly I can go miles about seisub and how it fundamentally changed way I do and view shipping but I'm a bit sleepy rn. I've been chasing high I experienced with seisub and whilst I can recreate it with some other clamp ships at the moments, I can't with ships outside clamp fandoms.

In TB/X it absolutely has to be his relationship with Hokuto. Power duo they were unstopable, Subaru couldn't catch a break. In that manner TB trio too. But not just comedy moments, but ones like this:

At moments I wonder if Seishirou underestimated Hokuto. She is bubbly, seemingly has somewhat shallow interestes and such, but behind cheerful surface (maybe even front she puts up for Subaru's sake so she'd cheer him up), Hokuto is extremely sharp and mature girl for her age. There were few moments where Seishirou and Hokuto had serious convos, usually about Subaru's self sacrificial and sensitive nature. And Seishirou always had his smirk and inner 'quite observant out of you Hokuto-chan' moment.

In X he barely interacted with anyone beside Subaru. Ik we as fandom joke about Seishirou and Fuuma being bastard bffs but if we were to serious take X, then I'd say Seishirou would prefer to avoid Fuuma altogether. Ofc he'd never let Fuuma know that, it'll be considered vulnerability. He'd be unnerved not only by someone stronger than him, but also with ability to see what dwells in one's heart. Fuuma could hold a mirror reflecting his soul and Seishirou would rather stay blind to what he sees there

NOTP:

Ofc I saw some crack ships with Seishirou but I never saw a serious ship with fanbase that's not seisub. I guess I'd be a bit ?? if he's paired with a woman. Ofc unless said woman is Setsuka, because tbx fandom is still torn whether motherfucker is just an insult or description for Seishirou

Random headcanon:

He wears sunglasses to save eyesight and 'put distance between himself and world around him'. But I'm sure Seishirou keeps sunglasses on regularly to turn blind eye to reason behind his blind eye, so to speak. Deep down he knows he moved in front of knife on impulse to protect Subaru and that deeply unnerves him. Of course all subconsciously, thus he'd rather not be reminded of that inner turmoil. Still it's rather ironic Seishirou and Subaru parted in TB with both leaving marks of reminder on each other's body. Subaru remembers Seishirou whenever he looks at his hands and Seishirou sure as hell remembers Subaru from time to time when he looks at his blind eye

Also I think Seishirou made bet on impulse based on deeply rooted wish for connection with another human being. Ofc he never became aware of said wish because it's ego-dystonic to him. He views emotions as weakness, love included.

8 Anti LO Asks

1. It doesn’t really make sense for a long term comic such as LO to have such a drastic change in the artstyle, and even more you can’t really call it an improvement when all the interesting parts of the art style are now gone and all that it is now it’s just some basic same-face and body art style with barely any backgrounds. RS is incredibly talented for illustrative artwork and it’s really a shame she’s not doing that anymore and instead has left it to her team, with leaving them very messy sketches. The artstyle in the beginning had life and glamour and now it’s just very dull and boring. That’s not an improvement

2. I genuinely can’t think of any man in LO that’s even half way decent. Poseidon maybe? Hephaestus? Those are the only two I can manage, meanwhile the rest are either Rachel purposely ruining them because of her own biases (Zeus, Apollo, Thanatos to an extent) or are “good” men who are just creeps who disrespect all the women around them and are super creepy and obsessed over a literal teenager who acts like a child (Hades, Ares, Hermee, Eros, etc). The women aren’t much better either. 

3. About Perse making Hades childish: (this is no way defending him, just some speculation, and tbh I doubt that RS has thought this through haha) I wonder if he becomes a horny teenager around her because she’s a goddess of fertility? Would that have any affect on him? Doesn’t excuse his creepy ass behavior, but could explain it a bit, I guess?

4. Okay so I'll be honest I dont really see any reason to 'simp' over Any of the LO characters?

Also, not to start sh*t, but - I think part of the reason why some of the LO fandom does not like Zeus (and perhaps gives Hera more leeway - at least in terms of cheating) is because:

Mythologically Zeus is a known cheater / rapist (Io for example, or Semele)

They see Hera cheating a Zeus as okay (its not) because he's been known to cheat on her in the past / fans see Hera cheating on Zeus with Hades as 'justified revenge' for what he's (Zeus) put her through

I'll be honest I dont really see Zeus (or Hades for that matter) as good rulers because

Despite other deities (like Eros) doing 'acts of wrath' - they get away with it because they often have someone to back them up (like Aphrodite offering to sleep with Zeus to get her son out of trouble) - but the one time Persephone does something wrong (an act of wrath) - Zeus wants to give her the Prometheus treatment - mainly so he can feel like an in control king whos subjects respect him

The reason this sound so odd is because of RS writing choices. Zeus is a grade A d*ck who is willing to destroy a 'young girls promising career' because she made 1 mistake that one time. But at the same time the act of wrath is framed oddly because Demeter doesn't want her daughter to get in trouble so she covers it up (its like the equivalent of hiding a murder from the cops).

Zeus wanting to Prometheus Kore seems overly harsh because she is a Child. (Well a teenager) - so it adds to the "Zeus is a d*ck" card, because she doesnt have the life experience to "get away with" stuff like the other deities because she is young AND sheltered.

Like again, the whole concept of Human Laws applying to Gods is so confusing:

Would Zeus have been this harsh if Demeter had simply come forward in the first place about Persephone's murder rampage? Why did she blackmail / get other deities involved to cover it up? Is Zeus THAT much of a d*ck in Demeters eyes that she knows he would harshly punish a child for something "she didnt mean to do" (killed mortals based on a feeling?)

Why is there a motherf*cking trial in the first place? Do All the other deities get the right to a fair trial or is this a special case? (Like can any deity just offer to sleep with Zeus and he'll let them off the hook?). If the other deities had commited the same crime would the trial / punishment be the same or does Zeus just have a rage boner because he was lied to? If thats the case then why are the other deities taking Persephones side during the trial? (Ares I can maybe understand cause hes the God of War and stuff but everyone else is taking Perse's side because their either her personal friend or family member (Hecate, Hermes, Demeter, Hades etc).

Why are there certain laws like "Zeus cant get to Persephone because she has clemency in the underworld" but other deities - including Leto, Demeter and others (like Perse's nymph family) can just stroll into Hades house? Why is Hermes still on house arrest? Why are Hades + Persephone throwing a house party when shes on trial for scythe crimes??!!!

Why are the gods bound by such petty squabbles?

The way RS set up the governing "laws" in universe just doesnt make a whole lotta sense. Also, sorry this got ramblely.  

5. Tbh i don’t think that Hades acting differently when he’s with Persephone is a bad thing, as a concept. But there are many issues with this such as the fact that Persephone is barely legal and Hades act like an actual child around her. Obviously when you’re with someone they are going to act different than they do when they are at work. The problem is that Hades essentially goes from the “cold-scary king” to a 17 year old hormonal boy when he’s with Persephone. And him making out with her in a middle of a store or them golfing with diamonds or him making out with Persephone again in front of his workplace is not exactly acceptable behaviour from a king. If Hades acts all lovey-dovey with Persephone when their at their home together it’s different, but when they’re at a public place they can’t really do that. I would say that he has to keep a status about him but from what we’ve seen all the citizens of the underworld hate him and don’t respect him at all, from yelling at him to actually fighting with him, so idk how much status there is actually attached to him 

6. I swear, the majority of the “cute” HxP moments in LO just seem like a single father dealing with his hyperactive 8 year old over the supposed future intimidating rulers who Rachel is obsessed about talking and drawing their sex life. Is it really that hard to depict Persephone even acting like a smart teenager at the very least, as opposed to an airhead grade schooler? It doesn’t scream cute to me, it seems more like a father/daughter relationship. It’s just weird. 

7. i mean, i have a LO oc who's persephone's brother (fertility god) between demeter and zeus. dude got thrown into tartyrus to cover up the affair and now serves cronus. he was the god of summer, and my reasoning was demeter's seasons/harvest + summer thunderstorms. wrote a whole minific i will never post about him and persephone realizing everyone around them are assholes and healing together. so the mistress-of-zeus oc isnt that weird.

8. I’m not a Zeus stan by any means, but I do find him one of the most interesting characters, and one that RS has, in her attempts to make him be the worst ever to make Hades look better, actually way more interesting and compelling than the majority of the cast. He doesn’t lie or whine to the audience he’s some good person like Hades when he’s not, he owns that he’s a dick and doesn’t bullshit the audience into thinking he’s someone he’s not. RS tries to show us he’s a “bad” king, yet we see no proof it beyond what, he wants to uphold the law P broke and doesnt kiss Hades’ butt? That’s not a bad king, it’s a good one that he doesn’t let family ties or lust cloud his judgement, unlike Hades or Hera, for example. I don’t condone his cheating either, but it’s not fair to hate him for it, but love it that Hades cheated on Minthe so he could get into a teenager’s skirt and praise Hera for sleeping with her brother in law while punishing Zeus’ mistresses because she’s being a fake “loyal” wife. Just because he’s a deeply flawed, even a bad person doesn’t make him a bad character. Hades and Hera and even Persephone are awful people who do worse than Zeus, yet they’re loved and praised for it, all while being written with the depth of a puddle.

Hello! I hope you’re doing well!! I stumbled upon your great account last year when i was looking for My Mister meta & analyses along with the givemeslippers fansite, it was the first time i watched this drama and i believe it will keep a special place in my heart! I decided last week would be a good time to watch it again and it wretched my heart then healed it again, as if it was the first time haha!

If this doesn’t bother you, i wanted to ask you something: what were your thoughts on the last scene of DJY/PDH’s confrontation in ep. 14, when Dong Hoon punches him as he says he wasn’t the only one ‘vulgar’, and right after the flashback plays (‘if nobody knows, then it is nothing’)?

I would say it was a gut reaction to what was said previously, since his breathing picked up right after the innuendo and i didn’t notice the close-up on his face, maybe threatening him to admit their relationship is not ‘nothing’, & his face contorted in panic/shock right after, his mind elsewhere, even though he felt relieved to take all this, whatever it is, out on DJY.

And also, maybe unconsciously, the flashback confirmed par a contrario DJY's question: if somebody knows (about their relationship), then it is a big deal? I find it interesting that all this 'if nobody knows, then it is nothing' is the whole theme of this scene: i believe it was also what made PDH leave on purpose his cell phone outside of this confrontation, to reassure Ji An this wasn't a big deal to him to prevent her from fleeing out of shame and guilt (as he said in this whole flashback) and that he only wants to contact her again.

I don’t believe it is out of frustration at the whole wiretapping issue, as some people have said, because the scenes just before took the time to show how moved DH was to learn Ji An took her side despite it all, and she fled for him, contrary to what she said to him during the phone booth call (she was getting sick of being judged). That her support by his side made even more sense (and mattered much more) since he learnt she knew everything.

But I can’t wrap my head around this scene!

I wish there were a specials for this series, like other dramas, how Ji An and Dong Hoon’s dinner reunion went, how the Hoogye district is doing ...? but i guess that’s some wishful thinking haha! Dong Hoon cries twice in the last, what? ten? minutes of this episode, and it’s not because he’s angry. and never after does he say anything with a slightest hint of judgment about this. Ji An mentions she doesn’t listen anymore now that she knows that he knows and  later that she will uninstall the app, and he just believes her, never bringing it up again, never asking her if she did in fact uninstall it. i mean, i probably would.

back to that scene, though. i think that here we have Park Dong Hoon who wouldn’t even admit to himself that maybe what he feels for Ji An is something more than... whatever he tells himself it is: desire to protect someone who needs protection, friendly affection for someone who seems to know and understand him like no one else, just basic human decency, etc. etc. etc. and not only does this weasel spit out a label (something the creators of the drama carefully avoid, making the secondary characters make these assumptions), but says that Dong Hoon and Ji An’s relationship is the same as his and Dong Hoon’s wife’s, calls Dong Hoon vulgar/sleazy. does it echo what he very secretly might think of himself? i wouldn’t be surprised. he must be disgusted by the idea of being just like Joon Young, probably the only person he truly hates in this world. or maybe he is just disgusted that Joon Young cheapens this precious affinity with this comparison. maybe it’s all of the above. 

and that ties into the flashback, which is certainly there for a reason. it’s a recurrent DH theme, isn’t it. “if no one knows, it’s not a big deal”. and now someone knows - and says it out loud. and he will somehow have to deal with it, because it is now a big deal. no wonder he takes all of it out on Joon Young, who conveniently deserves it.

how exactly did you do figure drawings? or how even are figure drawings done? the way you draw poses & people looks so good, i'm so curious as to has you did it haha

i use a pretty wide variety of things to do them..mostly just to keep it interesting. heres a cool new page i made just for all the stuff i use cuz it made the post super long lol

as for How i do them..im struggling to give any kind of.. guideline? because the process is like quick and intuitive and unique to each artist, not a steady step-by-step kind of thing. i guess i can give u some tips that i wish someone had told me when i started!

its fine if they are weird and messy and ugly! they don’t have to be instagrammable, theyre personal to u, and mostly just practice. if drawing is like running a marathon, figure drawing is running on a treadmill (I GUESS LOL? IDK HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT)

similarly, don’t be precious over them. don’t linger on things like faces/hands, use cheap/disposable materials, don’t collect them all after you’re done..that kind of stuff leads to you subconsciously focusing more on making them aesthetically pleasing and anatomically perfect than on just practicing

you’re probably gonna struggle at first, so maybe don’t start out with the rapid 30-60sec drawings. maybe give yourself a couple minutes extra for each figure until you get used to the process of quickly getting down a figure, then speed it up til you’re capable of doing the normal ‘class mode’

keep your mind open when youre doing it. the whole point of this kind of practice is to figure (heh) out where you were going wrong with anatomy. don’t just mindlessly copy down what you see in front of you. make notes, mental or physical, on what you notice. this builds up ur mental library of intuitive anatomy knowledge!

do it regularly and supplement it with slower, more detailed studies of anatomy! i noticed everything got a lot easier for me once i just spent a couple days figuring out some stuff about how muscles work lol

have fun and be yourself:) But im dead fkn serious. figure drawing is honestly the most fun way of practicing human anatomy and whatever you make while doing it is gonna be totally unique to u! don’t try and make ur own interpretation of the human figure into something generic and instagrammable you’ll be sad ú_ù

(2/?) my head reading the words and thinking about what is written but I don’t visualize the characters or setting or plot and I dislike books with a lot of visual or sensory descriptions and details because it doesn’t work for me. I also suspect that my struggles with spatial awareness and driving are due to aphantasia. I have never decorated a room but if I had to I’ll probably choose classic items and colors to make sure everything fits. I don’t associate memories with sensory details.

Ok wait whaaaat? You don't have smell memory?! that's wild! I'd love to know what the neurology of that is bc smell memory isn't a visual thing. In fact, for me, smell memory for people calls up the name and image of a person, but like...the image isn't necessary. It just like reminds me that they exist. Or reminds me of an event, but a picture of an event wouldn't be necessary. Sometimes it evokes an emotion from me, which also isn't visual. I'm assuming you can smell bc you didn't mention not being able to (I met a guy in one of my anthro classes once that actually couldn't smell and ironically it was in my food, health, and culture class and smell is so strongly linked to taste.), so like...can you remember the specific smells of things? Like an apple or pumpkin? And if you can't, can you remember the tastes of things? And if you can't remember tastes of things do you end up eating things that you hate accidentally?

The reading thing makes sense to me. When I read I also get the voice speaking to me, but the voice creates a visual. But hearing the head voice without seeing the pictures makes sense to me. I can see why long descriptions of stuff would kind of become like a droning on bc IDK about you but personally my head voice sounds nothing like my actual voice. When you think of words or numbers do you hear the head voice saying them to you? Cause I don't, I see them written as letters with the context I saw them in. So if I close my eyes and think about this post I see black writing on a white background in my head but don't hear the head voice. Numbers...that's a different story.

So because words and numbers are essentially just functional markings to you, do you have an easier time remembering them than most people? Like are you good with names and dates and math? OH! When someone lists off instructions or directions can you remember them without having to write any of it down? What kind of stuff is easy for you to remember and what kind of stuff is hard for you to remember? So for example for me I often can remember where I put stuff bc I can remember the objects I saw next to it and the context it was in (this is a suuuuuper handy trick for someone with ADHD lol.). I'm also really good with maps and have a really good sense of direction bc as I drive or walk I draw a map in my head and have a catalogue of landmarks. But maybe you're good at that too bc maybe you can remember road names? IDK.

What was it like when you figured out that other people do see pictures and stuff in their head?

I suspect you're right about the driving thing. I have a really good ability to understand measurements bc I can picture a ruler in my head. So I'm really good at knowing how much an inch or a foot is or whatever. I never need to bring a tape measure with me to the store bc I know if things will fit or not and that extends to my car. I can easily visualize how large it is, and it becomes almost like an extension of my personal bubble. So I know when it's between the lines or isn't or how close I am to someone etc.

Man I keep coming back to the smell thing because I'd LOVE to know what the connection is between smell and visualization. I wonder if people who have a poor sense of smell have a harder time with memories.

Ok so fun fact about ASMR: these messages caused ASMR tingles for me bc people being interested in me or my work or engaging with me like you are is a super huge ASMR trigger for me. Which I hope doesn't sound weird, but it is on topic for the conversation. =D

Finally there is someone who understands my love for Saint oniisan! I am not especially religious, but I can totally say I became a huge fan of Jesus after seeing it! He is hilarious and has a funny voice! I love the way he says “Budda” after Budda suggests making food out of rocks. And the scene in the sauna is definitely my favorite. Your idea for Mira and Connor story seems more and more interesting. To be honest, it’s even better than plotline for Amara and Altair and Olivia and Haytham (although you make me question all my prejudices towards him and in the end I can say that I “like him” rather than “tolerate him”, your drabble with drunken Olivia was asdfghjkllove). Maybe next time you post some 5 words sentences or whatever it was, I’ll request something for them. I am definitely not a history lover, but I admire having such a deliberate background. You really have potential for being a professional writer. I mean, don’t get me wrong, but those are only fanfictions. People writing such things focus on the story itself, on characters, dynamics between them. I feel that you also work a lot on research for background to be the most accurate as it could be. Like, wow! And you actually really prepare for writing anything. The drabble with the reader wanting a tattoo and reaction of ac character taking into consideration how tattoos were perceived in the appropriate timeline? I had no idea that people were tattooed in ancient times! Or maybe it’s just my historical ignorance and sleeping tendencies in history classes. .

I wouldn’t say that grey eyelash is unique. Not many people know about it, it’s almost invisible. It’s not like you are looking at someone’s eyelashes and their color. Besides, I usually wear make up, so..

I was asking about piercing, because well. I would love to have piercings. Like.. I really do. Maybe not too extreme (although nipple piercing looks good to me) – just ears and maybe nose. That’s all. The problem is I am afraid of needles. And yes, I have a tattoo. And yes, I am going to get the second one. And yes, tattoos are made with needles. But still, this doesn’t change the fact I am afraid of needles. And I just need a little encouragement. I talked with a friend who made helix piercing last year, but it disturbed her sleep. Earring hooked on her pillow and in the end her ear became swollen and hurt, so she took it out. So I need more opinions. Positive ones I guess.

But right now you make me think about the riskiest thing I’ve ever done in my life.. Getting a tattoo wasn’t even close to a risky thing. What about you? Any confessions?

I'm glad you like my OC but tbh i don't remember writing about drunk Olivia 😂 but those 3 are my favourite babies. They are all different but just... they seem right for me. Ad I know a lot of people doesn't like Haytham and it's valid. I find him interesting so i decided to make a story about him, to show his loving and caring side. Because after all games, books, tv series and everything is made to be enjoyed, not to make some wars about who's right and wrong. I just enjoy things I like and that's it! Thank you for your words about being a professional writer. Tbh when i make stories I always check the background, history and all of those little details because I like being accurate. I like when things I write have a meaning, maybe some hidden sense. It makes me happy to find something that connects the dots, you know? And not knowing historical details like tattoos isn't ignorance. You don't need to study or learn about things you're not interested in. About that tattoo hc - I know it's nice to read about characters that are all "I love ink on your body" but I really want to be historically accurate. Because as much as we want our fave characters to be perfect, they aren't and I guess it's nice to explore their flaws.

I was reading Ac 1 book today and I finished that 2nd part and I noticed Altair was crying while killing Al Mualim. Tbh it made me think today about the vulnerability of people. Weird, right? Especially that Altair said that he knew Al Mualim's love was fake and fragile, that he was using Altair. And yet Altair treated him as a father and cried for him. I'm in such a deep Altair's hole, I really love that man.

Piercing. Knifey. It is your body and your life so if you want to have piercing? GO GET IT. Like really. If you won't do it you may grow to regret it. And if you decide that piercing doesn't spark a joy? Just take it off and let your skin heal. But really, nose piercing looks good. I love those little, silver balls on the side of the nose. Idk if you also like those but still. GO MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. GET THE PIERCING. BE HAPPY. Yes, you need to be careful about it in the beginning. There is a small risk of not healing properly but for that, you have all the meds to use. Keep that place clean and you should be 100% fine. So honestly Knifey, my amazing, smart, hard-working and talented friend, those are your worst of encouragement. GO GET THE PIERCING YOU WANT. And don't look back.

My confessions? Tbh I don't think I have any. I don't really do risky stuff, I don't have any tattoos and I don't plan on having any (I don't really like having stuff on my skin. Like I used to draw on my skin o get used to the thought of having a tattoo but it bored me after some time so I'm sure I don't want to have a tattoo but I love them on other people). I also stopped dying my hair for now to see my natural colour. Hmm what else... I think that's all. Not much is happening in my life rn.
