I know Trobed isn’t canon but there are some b plots and even a plots with Troy that don’t seem to have any worth is not to show that he’s in love with Abed.

What was the reasoning for him not only not dating the girl in early 20th century romanticism, and even more for it to be cause she didn’t want to date abed like buddy it looks like you want to date them. And the body switch to break up with Britta, getting upset cause someone was “stealing his boyfriend”, a whole episode about him wanting to “come out” with Britta. I know it’s a joke but istg if they were a boy and girl they would be canon by season two
