i've seriously underestimated the number of conservative, right-wing, nazi-adjacent lotr fan blogs on here like it's actually insane how many there are posting slur-ridden wojak memes inbtwn lotr fanart, lotr gifsets, and lotr book pages/quotes

i hate having popular posts.

in related news, some far-right republican type reblogged that trump post with a stupid addition, so going on that blog led me down the most annoying tumblr follower rabbithole ever: us republicans w/ facebook memes, right-wing europeans who love trump but despise americans, gamers, libertarians, tradcaths, orthodox church blogs(?), rabid untitled triangle icons, pro-lifers, patriotic porn blogs, antivaxxers, actual fucking nazis, people who hate ukrainians so much it's unreal, lots of lord of the ring blogs for some reason, cutesy pink pastel and stim blogs w/ outrageously racist public likes, fandom blogs that look and act normal until you remember they're following all these people for some reason, accelerationists, and "leftist" anarchists who Really really like trump for some reason (which is horseshoe theory in action ig). and everyone in this freakshow community is friends with each other.
