it's more important to make the republicans lose for those exact reasons, if that makes sense. as much as they may seem eternal, by far the best way to destroy the republican party is to make them always lose. it really is that simple.

"voting blue" is ideally a temporary, short term measure until we can vote for a much more radically progressive party, ideally one built of local liberatory movements that spends federal resources reinforcing the human rights & economic benefits that make unionizing easier.

i understand your logic but it just wouldn't shake out that way; the only thing a republican victory would do is drag the dems even further right, as history again proves that genocide is an effective campaign promise in US politics.

trying not to rush into this worldview too rashly but i think it might be imperative that the dems lose the next usa election. like, if putting the pressure on them to move left doesn't work, they just gotta lose. their tactics must fail.
