four years ago i was told by theatre professionals that the second show is always worse than the first show and i didn't believe them until today
#we had soooo many mess-ups#i delayed a whole scene because i forgot my locket#warbucks messed up a line grace forgot a line i messed up a line by putting emphasis where it shouldnt have gone#i slipped during a dance i left my glasses on for the first scene after intermission#i forgot to unmute my mic at the beginning of scene ten and had to awkwardly reach up my dress to unmute it#lily messed up a line in easy street#my vocals? impeccable. my acting? pretty good except for when i haf to contain laughter at mess-ups#but i made SO MANY MISTAKES#i missed a line that i was supposed to say while backstage because i was freaking out about my glasses being on in the previous scene#and hannigan had to say it for me#it was just the word wow so all she had to do was copy my inflection#but <//3333#still a bunch of fun and there were a lot of improvements as well
