DO MY HAIR UP REAL NICE

pairing: jj maybank x doll!reader

cw: fluffy fluffy, jj bein a sweetheart, pet names.

summary: jj wants to do your hair, plus, he loves the bow's.

it all started when you did not get enough sleep. JJ is some sort of human furnace or something because you can't go a second without the fan when sleeping with him but where was the fan? broken. he broke it, actually, who else would?

so, no sleep for you? results in grumpy, no-good mood for jj to take care of. it is his fault, but it's not like he does it on purpose. you basically just mope around all day in your little pink pajamas, small coffee mug grasped in your hand.

and your hair? untouched.

the sun was reflected into the cheap mirror- shining straight into your eyes and before you could close the window- you gave up because when your tired, what do you do? you give up the second something bothers you. Usually when you actually sleep and you have a fan in the room at night, you'd wake up fine and have a pink brush in your hair- while jj brushed his teeth unbothered by the toothpaste sort of splattering on to the mirror, beside you.

" look! look, sarah bought new bows for you at the shops in 'kook paradise' " he entered the bathroom, cardboard with bows clipped into the holes in his hands with a bright smile- energetic too, like usual- unlike you? no energy.

you extended a lazy hand, the other still wiping the lack of sleep out of your eye and a smile- cause jj always makes you smile. no sleep or not.- "thanks..tell sarah i said thank you, please" he placed the bows in your palm and watched, he expected you to place it on the counter and use them for today's hairstyle but no, you opened the cabinet and scooted other products to the side and placed the bows down, closing the door.

"wait, aren't you gonna use them today?" his voice laced with confusion, eyebrows slightly furrowed. your pink slippers made a small scraping sound as you turned to look at him with sleepy eyes.

"yeah, m'too tired." your voice was slightly hoarse from the lack of sleep, making him grab a cup and filling it with water. "here ya go, and if your too tired, then im doing it cause i cant go a day not seein' you with those little bows, doll"

you chuckled on the rim of the cup as you held it to your lips, eye's still on his figure before lowering the cup and placing it on the bathroom counter. "your gonna do it, hmm?" you raised your eyebrows, small smile on your pink lips.

"oh, hell, i'll dress you up too-" you laughed and shook your head, opening the cabinet and grabbing the bows. "here, show me what ya got" you lifted your leg and slipped it up onto the counter, with ease you sat on the counter and crossed your legs.

jj's lips curled up into an approving smile, coming up behind you and grabbing the hair brush before running it through your hair. "gimme the bows, please" he spoke with a nod toward the bows on the counter beside your leg.

you grabbed the bows and easily undid the clips from the cardboard- passing him the small pink one to which he grabbed and clipped onto the waistband of his shorts for now. "m'kay you want the one where part of your hair is like, up and then the bow holds it up?" he asked, his eyes meeting your in the mirror to see your nod, plus a smile.

he grabbed a half chunk of your hair and curled it up, gently, into his fist so he could grab the bow on his pants without letting go of your hair. "jj, you know you gotta put a hair tie on it first, so it don't fall out?" you chuckled while holding up a hair tie. " ah, yeah, forgot" jj chuckled lowly- the one that made your cheeks heat up- he grabbed the hair tie with a dramatic pluck and tied your hair with practice, surprisingly.

he unclipped the bow from his pants and poked his tongue out slightly, the bow slipping under a bit of your hair as it snapped into place. "there ya go doll" he grabbed your head with his hands and kissed the top of your head.

you spun around and untangled your legs, placing them on either side of his legs while looking at him. "thank you j" you smiled and gave him a small peck on the lips.

"uh huh, i did say i cant go a day without seein you and those bows, girly"
