Some wc ships i think are pretty neat :]
yeen rambles #5
Fireheart/star X Greystripe; a classic. old as time, cant go wrong with it. there was definitely something between them until Silverstream got ivlolved tbr.
Greystripe X Silverstream; it could've WORKED so well honestly.
Hawkfrost X Ashfur; OK I LOVE THIS ONE SM. it works super well and i think it makes the impact of the fire scene even bigger. i will probably extend on this at some point, but yea it just works so well.
Blackfoot/star X Sol; what is there to be said? they are iconic together.
Talltail/star X Jake; again, another classic. cute ship.
Greystripe X Longtail; HEAR ME OUT OK??? if greystripe decided to stop putting up with Firestars shit, (Which, he should have.) HE WOULD BE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS WITH LONGTAIL. C'MON????
Bluefur/star X Thrushpelt; they could've been so good honestly. missed opportunity smh.
Fireheart/star X Onewhisker/star; idk i feel like that could be interesting.
Rusty X Smudge; i think this is a funny ship tbh.
Hollyleaf X Fallenleaves; they were so cute together tbh.
Yellowfang X Bluefur/star; honestly they would've been great together. the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Forgot to post him here. Eventually I’m gonna go back and add one more thing to his ref.
(Edit: I changed him a bit again.)
Tumblr media
I’ve decided Hawkfrost is his mate and he was mentored by Tigerstar. He now looks way more like Blackstar at least white wise. I’ve decided he’s still half-Windclan and shadowclan AND rogue. Which makes his eventual kits with Hawkfrost half-Riverclan, Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan and rogue (LOL).
Also for anyone who is wondering how him and Hawkfrost have kits, because they’ve never heard of my sona before, he’s trans. (Anyone who has a problem with that can kick rocks. I’m trans so my sona is trans.)
I think I’m gonna lean into the bitter angry aspect of his personality. Sure he got out of everything alive but the trauma leaves him all his anger and sadness he doesn’t know what to do with. He holds grudges and doesn’t know how forgive fully. He’s outwardly a kind and good cat but his clan mates know he’s a mess. Comes off as being very nice and patient but really he’s just bottling all his negative emotions most of the time.
Also it makes more sense for when he gets together with Hawkfrost and then Sol later on.
Finished his backstory so here it is.
Yarrow is Blackstar's trans (half) nephew whose mother is a rogue named Frost who while came to shadowclan, during when Tigerstar was leader, because her mother told her she had family in Shadowclan and because she didn't want to raise kits by herself so she went there. Yarrow's father is an average Windclan warrior named Haresnout who had no interest in raising kits and was scared of the idea of his clan finding out that he took a mate outside of the clan. Frost lies and says the kits father was a rogue.
Yarrow is the runt of the litter and has two siblings, Violetkit and Thistlekit. He has trouble walking, talking, keeping his balance, and is often sick during leaf bare. He is bullied because of this.
Tigerstar makes himself Yarrow's mentor and is a cruel and manipulative mentor, making Yarrow believe he's the only who believes in Yarrow while simultaneously tearing down Yarrow's self esteem every chance he gets. Yarrow through Tigerstar guidance becomes incredibly aggressive and a bully to the other apprentices except for his siblings. (Through he's not particularly nice to them either.) He's so distant from his family and none of them know how to help him.
One day Yarrow disappoints Tigerstar by losing a fight with a another apprentice and is sent to go hunting alone. While doing so he spots a fox and thinking it's the perfect way to impress Tigerstar, he attempts to chase it off. He however loses the fight and gets badly injured, losing half of right ear, bitten on the neck, and a large scar on his shoulder. He climbs up a tree to escape and passes out of fear and blood loss.
Eventually he's found by Frost and Blackstar, who are led to him by Thistlepaw, who was secretly following him so he wouldn't be hunting alone, when she saw him trying to fight the fox and immediately decided to get help. He is immediately to taken to the med den and treated. Some moons later all his wounds have healed except his shoulder scar, which becomes infected. Tigerstar is angry about how long it's taking and decides to give Yarrow his warrior name early. He gives him the name Yarrowscar to forever remind him of his scars and foolish actions. Yarrowscar at this point refuses to leave the medicine den and develops a huge fear of foxes.
when Yarrowscar has healed Blackfoot decides to  take over training him even though Yarrow is technically a warrior now. Yarrow for the first time has a positive mentor relationship and starts thriving. For the first time Blackfoot starts doubting Tigerstar. Tigerstar has Darkstripe secretly following Blackfoot to keep an eye on him because he doubts now Blackfoot's loyalty.
Frost while alone with Yarrow and Blackfoot reveals who Yarrow's father actually is. Unfortunately Darkstripe overhears this and tells Tigerstar. Tigerstar tricks Yarrow and his siblings to come with hunting with him and has Darkstripe lead Frost and Blackfoot to him. Once there, he has Darkstripe hold down Thistlepaw while he holds down Yarrow. He reveals that he's going to kill Yarrow and his siblings for being half clan while his mother and uncle watch. Thistlepaw manages to get free from Darkstripe’s paws and scratch Tigerstar across the face. Tigerstar almost immediately kills her but it gives Yarrow, and the rest of his family enough time to get away. Yarrow gains two scars near his right eye from this event.
They go to Thunderclan for help and Firestar agrees to let them stay. They all are devastated but Yarrow blames himself and shuts down. The very next day he witnesses Tigerstar horrifying death at the hands of Scourge. Yarrow has conflicted feelings about Tigerstar's death. When the clans win the battle against bloodclan, Yarrow and his family go back to Shadowclan. Then when the clans leave the forest territories Frost instead decides to stay. Her and Yarrow have a private moment where Yarrow apologizes for everything and they have a bittersweet goodbye. Yarrow blames himself for his sibling's death for the rest of his life.
During a gathering in the new lake territories Yarrowscar meets Hawkfrost when meeting up with his Riverclan friend, Froststrike. He is charmed by Hawk, they start meeting in secret and some time later become mates. Yarrow gets pregnant and later gives birth to five kits however Hawkfrost is killed by Brambleclaw before they're born. He is bitter and filled with hatred towards Brambleclaw even though he now knows Hawkfrost wasn't the best cat and killed the Riverclan leader Leopardstar before he died.
(Side by side comparison.)

anyway have some major points from my "Warrior Cats Rewrite" outline. long story short im rewriting the entire series bc i can, feel free to suggest things youd like to see :)
Overall:
-Please note that some of these bullet points dont make sense in the order theyre in bc i forgot to put them in chronological order and didnt have much time to fix it
-Each book has a different protag in a different Clan
-Some names, families, and pelt colours will all be switched around/changed
-Some characters will be aged up or down depending on when it makes sense to me for them to be born
-StarClan is fucking powerless. Instead these fiesty battlecats have a religion similar to greeks, with their main gods are based around the moon. Its considered super lucky for a kit to be born under a full moon, and naming a cat/kit "Moon-" is considered super disrespectful and can get both kit and mother shunned by the Clan or exiled
-WindClan never stopped tunneling
-Oakheart is still alive
-Assume no cats are related unless I state otherwise
-Lostsong, Wildblaze, Ferncloud, Ashfur, Brambleflower, and Tawnystorm are all related (Bramble, Tawny, Ash, Fern have the same father, Wild, Lost, Bramble, Tawny have the same mother)
-Acorn and Squirrel are Dust/Sand's kits, though they 2 are no longer mates
-The medicine cats cant have mates or kits rule is thrown out the window bc its stupid
Name Changes:
-Brambleclaw -> Brambleflower
-Tawnypelt -> Tawnystorm
-Sandstorm -> Sandstrike
-Firestar -> Sparkfern
-Leafpool -> Acornleaf
-Brightheart -> Lostsong
-Yellowfang -> Mirestorm
-Ravenpaw -> Ravensight
-Swiftpaw -> Wildblaze
1st arc (The prophecies begin):
- Protags are Sparkfern (ThunderClan, book 1), Yellowfang (ShadowClan, Book 2), Mistyfoot (RiverClan, book 3), Tallstar (WindClan, book 4), Tigerclaw (Book 5)
-1st book goes more or less the same with only minor changes until you reach the point where Sparkpaw was supposed to run into Mirestorm
-In this rewrite Brokenstar "out of the good of his heart" allows Mirestorm to stay in ShadowClan under 2 conditions. She gives up being a medicine cat and goes back to being a warrior, and she isnt allowed anywhere without a guard. She accepts
-Tigerclaw goes through with the plan to kill Ravenpaw but fails. Ravenpaw, terrified for his life, decides to switch to being a medicine cat
-WindClan hasn't been driven out, but only because Tallstar gave ShadowClan a good half of their territory
-Tigerclaw doesn't try any backhanded traps like the thunderpath one
-That being said, Cinderpaw still gets caught on the Thunderpath bc she wasnt paying attention to where she was going
-She still goes back to warrior training though bc this ThunderClan doesn't discriminate
-All the ShadowClan stuff happens a bit later than it does in canon
-Spottedleaf lives, but she's fucked up really bad (Blind in left eye, intense scarring on face and right side, unable to use back leg without pain, etc etc) and decides to demote herself as a medicine cat and mkve to the elder's den
-Ravenpaw still isn't fully trained, so ThunderClan enlists Barkface's help
-Ravenpaw ends up being named Ravensight sometime around the middle of the 3rd book
-Sparkpaw becomes Sparkfern around halfway through the book bc i dont try to pack what should be a month of buildup into 2 days so theres timeskips when theres nothing happening
-Sandpaw and Dustpaw become Sandstrike and Dustpelt before Sparkfern and Greystripe because they were apprentices for longer
-Tigerclaw kills Sparkfern by the end of book 1
-Tigerclaw tries to kill Bluestar, but she runs out of the den and Tigerclaw gets exiled
-Mirestorm decides to say fuck it and in book 2 pushes Brokenstar into the gorge in RiverClan territory
-After Redtail's death Whitestorm is made deputy
-Since WindClan never needed to be brought back Whiteclaw is alive now too
-Instead of Nightstar, after Brokenstar's death Blackfoot becomes Blackstar
- Whitestorm ends up getting killed so Sandstrike is made deputy
-On that note since Sparkfern is dead Sandstrike was Cinderpelt's mentor
-Both Swiftpaw and Brightpaw live, but both are heavily scarred and are renamed Deadspot and Lostface by Buestar
-Tigerclaw still leads the dogs onto ThunderClan territory, but instead of coming up with the canon plan they all live in fear until RiverClan decides that this is painful to watch and help out
-Deadspot and Lostface end up having a 2nd run in with the dogs and Bluestar looses her last life saving them
-Sandstar renames them Wildblaze and Lostsong
-ThunderClan don't actually hate Bramble and Tawny for being Tiger's kits, but they both feel irrationally guilty about it and that causes just as much of a strain
-Brambleflower is the one who leaves ThunderClan this time, while Tawnystorm stays
-Silverstream and Greystripe never get together. Feathertail and Stormfur are Silver and WhiteClaw's kits
-Also Leopardstar dies earlier and Stonefur becomes Stonestar
-Tigerclaw takes control of BloodClan and renames himself Tigerstar
-When Tigerstar tries to take over ShadowClan Blackstar tells him no
-Tigerstar tries approaching Stonestar for an alliance and the whole "shun half clan cats" thing, not knowing that Stonestar is a half clan cat (Bluestar still told both Mistyfoot and Stonefur the truth) and Stonefur tells him to get fucked
-tigerstar decides to merge with WindClan instead
-The whole fourtrees stand off still happens, but Brambleflower kills Tigerstar (who due to being a faux leader and not going to the moonstone only has one life)
2nd arc (The New Prophecy):
-Protags are Brambleflower (ShadowClan, book 1), Feathertail (RiverClan, book 2), Crowpaw (WindClan, book 3), Tawnystorm (ThunderClan, book 4), Nightcloud (WindClan, book 5)
-The cats that go on the quest are Tawnystorm, Brambleflower, Feathertail, Crowpaw, Squirrelflight, and Nightpaw (Nightcloud)
-Squirrel (who was born earlier than in canon and is therefor now already a warrior) follows Tawny on the quest
-Squirrel has a puppy crush on Tawny and she makes this fact painfully clear
-Nightpaw follows Feather around like a lost dog
-Crowpaw ends up dying instead of Feathertail bc Nightpaw was in danger
-Nightpaw becomes Nightcloud after the journey and develops a crush on Acornleaf
-She's torn between the two until she realizes Acorn doesnt feel the same about her (Acornleaf is in love with Mothwing in this rewrite bc i said so)
-Nightcloud is briefly devastated but then realizes that this makes things so much easier for her and starts dating Feathertail
-Tawny and Squirrel get together after 4 1/2 whole books of obvious pining
-Daisy is still there, but she only has one kit as the others have died (The living kit is Berrynose, now renamed Hay)
-Daisy gets in a relationship with Lostsong and Cloudtail bc thats my OT3 and bc i said so
-After loosing Hazel and Mouse she finds that she can't bring herself to get too attached to Hay so Tawny and Squirrel adopt him and Daisy just becomes that cool aunt™
-Insert a good 7 pages of Bramble freaking out that he's an uncle now
-Hawkfrost is still evil and traps Sandstar in a fox trap, but Mothwing kills him this time.
-Mothwing ends up badly injured from her fight with Hawkfrost and Acornleaf takes care of her
-Stormfur ends up dying
-Feathertail leaves RiverClan to be with Nightcloud
-Daisy/Lostsong/Cloudtail end up having Whitekit (wing), Rosekit (petal), and Honeykit (flower)
-Acornleaf and Mothwing become mates at one point and love each other very very much
-Mothwing is trans (comfort hc ive had aince forever, not purely for the sake of her and Acorn having bio kits i promise) and her and Acorn end up having Swanblaze (Hollyleaf) and Goldenfern (Lionblaze)
-since both Moth and Acorn are their Clan's only medicine cat neither can join the other's clan so Moth takes Swan and Acorn takes Golden
-a good 7 moon timeskip between arc 2 book 5 and arc 3 book 1
3rd arc (Power of Three):
-Protags are Mothwing (RiverClan, book 1), Crowstorm (WindClan, book 2), Goldenfern (ThunderClan, book 3), Littlecloud (ShadowClan, book 4), Swanblaze (RiverClan, book 5)
-[Everything that follows happens between TPB and the beginning of PO3]
-Since there's no "medicine cats cant have kits or mates" rule its common knowledge that Swan and Golden are Moth and Acorn's kits
-On RiverClan's side Graymist (who becomes a queen earlier here for the sake of convenience) nursed Swan alongside Sneeze and Mallow. Besides the feeding Swan spent most of her time hanging around and playing with Motha
-On ThunderClan's side, since Rosepetal is the medicine cat apprentice, Leafpool nurses and raises Golden. The entire Clan treats him like their kit though, especially his aunts Tawnystorm and Squirrelflight
-[Everything that happens this point happens in the actual arc]
-The 3 are Swanblaze, Goldenfern, and Crowstorm (Night and Feather's adopted son. He counts as part of the 3 bc Redtail (Sand's father) was half WindClan in this rewrite and his WindClan father also had Night and Crow's mother
-While both Swan and Golden knew they had a sibling in another Clan, they didnt officially meet until their 2nd gathering, when Moth and Acorn intoduced them to eachother
-Swanpaw met Crowpaw when Crow was chasing a rabbit and couldn't stop himself from falling into the river.
-Mothwing, who had taken Swanpaw on an outing to help her collect herbs, ended up saving him and bringing him back to camp while they waited for WindClan to come back and get him
-While Crow is intended to be Jayfeather's replacement here, he isn't blind. He is, however, deaf. He's still training to be a warrior though bc fuck canon
-Night, Feather, and Crow developed a sort of cat sign language they spread to WindClan to help make it easier for Crow
-It eventually ended up spreading to Bramble and Moth, who spread it to their Clans
-Different powers and shit
-Swan has a sort of foresight. She can tell whats going to happen a few moments before it happens. While she brushes it off as good instincts, when she develops it more later in the series her foresight stretches up to a moon in advance
-Golden still has super strength. He aint invincible tho cuz that was a horeible plot point
-Crow can see and speak to ghosts in the living world. Not just StarClan or dead cats, but any dead animal. If he wants to speak to a dead fox he 100% can
-The 3 still know about the prophecy due to Swan training as a med cat and accidently getting it (She eventually ends up dropping it and Willowshine becomes the med app instead)
-Sol comes in and then the eclipse happens
-Golden and Crow are 100% ready to trust this strange cat they met 2 days ago but Swan is like yo dudes wtf
-That whole plot point happens, Sol tries to go to ShadowClan, but Blackstar tells him to fuck off so he does
-Swanpaw ends up accidently killing him (tried to threaten him into leaving the Clans alone using the dunk and let breathe method, ended up drowning him). The guilt she feels from it is what causes her to drop being a medicine cat apprentice and become a warrior.
-Ashfur still had a crush on Squirrel and is extremely jealous of Tawny. He tries the whole fire scene thing with Haynose, but before he's even halfway done with his monologue he stops for 3 seconds, looks around him, and realizes just what the fuck he's trying to do
-He helps Squirrel and Hay out of the fire, apologizes profusely, and turns himself in to Sandstar, accepting whatever punishment she gives him
-Bramble 100% visits both Hay and Swan at least once a week. Sand and Stone have realized by now that stopping him wont work so they just allow it
-There's no huge gathering scene this time because there isn't a big secret to tell
-The arc does end, however, with Swan finding Stonestar's lifeless body laying in his den
4th arc (Omen of the Stars):
-[NOTE: This section is unfinished due to lack of ideas]
-The whole Stonestar's dead body thing is going to be addressed, but i just dont have any ideas for that so its not addressed for now
- Dove and Ivy are both spoiled rotten by their aunts and grandparents
-As such Dove gains a sorta "entitled" attitude. Like not full tantrum entitled, but getting moody/snappy when she doesnt get what she wants
-Ivy is the same way, just a bit less snapping and a bit more silent treatment
-Brambleflower!!!! Has kits!!! With Rowanclaw!!!
-Yes, I am a big fan of the trans Rowanclaw hc
-I am giving Bramble Tawny's canon mate
-why?
-bc its what he deserves
-Anyway, Their kits are Brindlekit/heart (Tigerheart), Dawnkit/shade (Dawnpelt), and Russetkit/tail (Flametail), who I am aging down bc in canon these 3 already have their full names
-Tawny and Squirrel 100% babysit from time to time
-Dark forest trainees stay the same, but this time add in Dovewing, Bumblestripe and Briarlight
-Haven't read, unable to make an outline
-Briarlight didnt make it in time to push Longtail out of the way, so Briarlight isnt paralyzed and Longtail is dead
-Bumblestripe still has a crush on Dovewing, but is way more lowkey and less "creepy" about it
-Swanblaze becomes mates with Minnowtail
-Acornleaf dies in the Last Hope
-So do Brambleflower, Goldenfern, Honeyfur, Graymist, Spiderleg, Applefur, Olivenose, Redwillow, Ferretclaw, Tallpoppy, Whitetail, Heathertail, Reedwhisker, Robinwing, Mosspelt, Pouncetail, and Dovewing
5th arc (A Vision of Shadows):
-[NOTE: This section is empty due to me not having finished this arc.]
6th arc (The Broken Code):
-[NOTE: This section is empty due to me not having read this arc]

Note
soooooooooo if shrewpaw survives, does he get together with squirrelflight? also very curious if you explore more of the interclan friendships that form during that journey (swallowtail and rainwhisker, birchfall and tallpoppy's kits (applefur, toadfoot and marshkit) and the questing cats obviously
Toadfoot and Applefur drifted from Birchfall by the time they became warriors, though Birchfall did manage to rekindle his friendship with Applefur while they were training together in the Dark Forest. Marshkit still grows up to be a warrior (the Erin’s forgot about him but I won’t, his warrior name would be Marshfoot) and remains friends with Birch and has a half-clan relationship with Larchwing (Larchkit), short-lived but neither one regretted it. They realized that while both wanted kits and would have been happy raising kits together, that didn’t mean that they were in love. They’re still best friends though :)
Swallowtail doesn’t stay friends with Rainwhisker, though he wishes they could have. They weren’t in love, he just thought she was really interesting and loved making her laugh because she’s usually so quiet. Swallowtail misses him sometimes, but had convinced herself that to be friends with him was betraying her clan.
Leopardstar and Onestar were the ones cracking down on any interclan friendships that came up, which was why Swallowtail didn’t want to stay friends with Rainwhisker, she didn’t want to upset Leopardstar. Firestar didn’t discourage it, but he didn’t encourage it either. He basically said that as long as it doesn’t cause problems for the clan, and he doesn’t notice it, then he can’t stop what he doesn’t see, can he?
Blackstar wanted to discourage the friendships, but he saw how Toad, Apple, and Marsh saw Birch and Larch as littermates, and how well Smokepaw got along with the other apprentices before he died. He doesn’t discourage it either and actually made up excuses for Marshfoot when he came home tired after spending part of the night with Larchwing and/or Birchfall some nights.
I wanted to try something a little different with Squirrel here! Yes, she does end up with Shrew permanently by the end of Po3, but their relationship is a little different before then.
When Squirrel and Leaf left so that Leaf could have her kits away from the clan, Shrew followed because he honestly thought that Squirrel was pregnant. Not with his kits, it was obvious that she and Bramble had something, but they were fighting a lot recently and it didn’t look like they’d make up. Before that it was Ashfur, but that made Shrew very uncomfortable because Ash is his uncle and he explained the age gap thing to her. She hadn’t realized how far apart they were in terms of age and stopped looking at Ashfur in that way when she found out.
Shrew assumed he shouldn’t worry because Leafpool was with her and instead spent time hunting for them because he wasn’t sure how good of a hunter Leaf would be (he’s a little dense). When he shows up with food and sees Leaf nursing instead of Squirrel, the two sisters start panicking. Shrew gives them the food and says he’s going back to the clan to let them know that they’re safe and that he’ll be back soon.
Squirrel and Leaf worry that he’s going to tell the clan and start preparing to take the kits to the other clans because he didn’t give them a chance to explain the situation.
Shrew tells the clan the story he believed before he actually found them, he says that Squirrel went into labor while they were looking for those herbs Leafpool said she needed to find. Bramble wants to be the one to go back and help them (because he assumes that he’s the father) but Shrew points out that Bramble can’t leave because he’s the deputy. It's easier if Shrew goes because he already knows where they are and he’s a warrior they can spare.
When they eventually return, everyone asks who the father is, Leafpool cooly points out that a queen doesn’t have to share that information if they don’t want to, which unfortunately sets off the speculation that the father might not be Brambleclaw. When the stress gets to be too much for Squirrelflight, Shrew steps forward and snaps at everyone, saying that if it's so important then they can just assume that he (Shrew) is the father and be done with it.
When Squirrelflight doesn’t argue it, the clan backs off. Bramble is convinced that he is the father but assumes that because of their last major fight, Squirrelflight doesn’t want him as part of her life. He does try to make up with her, but she makes it clear to him that she doesn’t want to be his mate. Instead, Bramble ends up trying to be an uncle-like figure to the three, which Shrew begrudgingly allows.
I am of the opinion that Bramble likes the idea of having a mate and a family, but he’s no good at it in practice. At least not in the nuclear family sort of way, Shrew is very protective of Squirrel because he saw how possessive and controlling both Bramble and Ash were with her, but once Bramble backed off and Shrew and Squirrel let him be a part of the kits lives, he made for an awesome uncle.

10% Left Au: Chapter 5
With a final heave, Crowfrost gently placed Dawnpelt's body into a shallow grave.
The past few days were full of pain and vigorous strength, as he buried his entire clan solo. Spikekit couldn't help much, so he made sure that the kit stayed inside so he didn't have to see the horrific sight of corpses.
He buried Blackstar first, then Rowanclaw. He then buried his Clanmates one at a time, saving Dawnpelt for last.. He couldn't bury her until the end.. That would be accepting that she was dead. And he couldn't do that yet.
But now the clearing was empty. He was alone with the kit.
He slowly got up, his fur covered in dirt and blood. "Spikekit? Are you awake?" He called out, hoping the kit responded.
He waited for a moment, before he heard some shuffling and the tiny grey and brown fuzzball hobbled outside.
"Papa! I go out now?" He chirped.
Crowfrost's heart swelled at the adorable kit. But he stopped when he saw Spikekit hobbling over to Dawnpelt's grave.. That he forgot to bury over.
"Who.. Who that?"
Crowfrost's head lowered. "This.. This is my mate. Her name is Dawnpelt.. I miss her alot." He sat down, his eyes glazing over with sadness. "She was expecting my kits."
Spikekit looked sad at that. "Oh.. I sowey.. That sad.." He stared at the ground next to Crowfrost, not knowing what to do.
Crowfrost sighed, getting up slowly. "We won't be staying here anymore. We're going on a journey."
He had been thinking about it for a while, but he was going to take Spikekit to the gathering island. Maybe someone else will be there, who could help them. Hopefully.. There would be a Shadowclan cat there.
Spikekit's face changed from worry to excitement, bouncing up and down. "Yaaay! Id soun fun!" He squealed out.
Crowfrost laughed, getting out of his sad shape. "Easy now, it will take a while to get there. Do you want a badger ride?" He crouched down, hoping the kit would get on his flank.
As he thought, Spikekit instantly hobbled onto the warrior's back with a loud 'oof', giggling as he got back up. "Les goooo!"
Crowfrost nodded, and with that, he walked out of camp, leaving everything behind.
The pine woods seemed to have.. Changed. It was oddly quiet.. He couldn't even hear any bird songs, or the chirping of crickets. It was all gone… as if the Dark Forest drained the life out of everything in the forest. It sent shivers down his spine thinking about it.
He spent so long in his thoughts, that the time seemed to go by almost instantaneously, and when he looked up again he saw the gathering island.
"Oooh! Wat dis?"
Crowfrost turned when he heard Spikekit let out an excited chirp, and snickered. "We're at the gathering island, Spikekit. Once we get on it I'll tell you more."
With that, he headed to the island.

Mothpool AU Rambles - Po3
I made some Mothpool hypokits.
Quailwing (named after Mothwing and equivalent to Jay) is a dilute chocolate mackerel tabby tom with blind blue eyes (blue is inherited from Mothwing).
Russetleaf (named after Leafpool and equivalent to Holly) is a chocolate and red mackerel torbie she-cat with green eyes (green is inherited from Leafpool who carried the gene from her parents... she’s also a demigirl cuz I said so).
Lynxcloud (equivalent to Lionblaze) is a fluffy reddish-orange mackerel tabby tom with amber eyes (inherited from Leafpool).
I got the genetics from a genetic generator (I changed them a bit though...) so they should be accurate.
Excuse me as I rant about an AU idea I had-
So basically.
Leafpool (at the time Leafpaw) ends up getting really close to Mothwing while Squilf is out and about.
Mothwing feels comfortable telling her that she’s trans and just didn’t want to tell anyone outside of RiverClan, because she already knew she was by the time she was apprenticed so why would anyone care? Plus she didn’t want to get discriminated against even though at this rate the Clans are used to same sex couples (Firestar and Graystripe are a thing, Sandstorm’s also there) and trans cats (Firestar, Sandstorm, probably a lot of others)...
Anyways, most of TNP goes the same, but then Leafpool ends up having kits with Mothwing instead... Mothwing is surprised to hear this, but the two of them, Squirrelflight and Ferncloud (who Leafpool decides should nurse the kits... Mothwing has other thoughts though) go to have the kits away from the Clans.
The first born is a chocolate she-kit (you’ll see...). Before even seeing his eyes or anything Leafpool knows that she should be named Quailkit, so she is.
Next is a chocolate and red mackerel torbie she-kit. Mothwing names this one Russetkit, having heard of ShadowClan’s deputy and her friendship with her mother Sasha.
Lastly is a fluffy red she-kit (they trans boiiiiiiiiiiii). While Leafpool wants to name her Mothkit, Mothwing advises against it and Squirrelflight decides to name her Lynxkit.
When it comes time to go home though, Lynxkit has established a bond with Mothwing, who already wanted at least one of the kits to come to RiverClan. Leafpool bids her daughter and Mothwing farewell and brings Quailkit and Russetkit to ThunderClan.
Quailkit soon decides that he/him pronouns fit him better after getting to know his grandfather Firestar, and in RiverClan Lynxkit does the same upon getting to know Mothwing, who he has a close bond with, better.
The only cats who know the truth in RiverClan are Leopardstar, Willowpaw and Mothwing, while in ThunderClan many more know the truth - Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw (vaguely;he knows the Three aren’t his and Squilf’s kits but doesn’t know who they are), Firestar, Sandstorm and the nursery permaqueens.
The Three get apprenticed. Russetpaw is excited to be a medicine cat apprentice, while her brother Quailpaw is determined to become a warrior and overcome his disability. Meanwhile in RiverClan, Lynxpaw is excited to become a warrior, despite his crush on Willowpaw slowing his progress down a bit.
Now here, Quailpaw and Russetpaw don’t switch roles. While Russetpaw does still struggle with herb meanings and such, Leafpool gives her ways to remember them, through little rhymes or short songs. Quailpaw gets training in his dreams from Yellowfang, Spottedleaf and Cinderpelt (though Cinder’s presence is weaker due to her also being by Cinderpaw’s side as a guardian angel/imaginary friend to her, more on that later), learning how to hunt through both sight and smell.
Eventually Russetpaw goes to RiverClan to make sure everything’s okay, before getting stuck due to Twoleg doing... I don’t know what they were doing during Dark River. During her time in RiverClan she bonds with both Lynxpaw and Willowpaw, the latter of whom she was already close to due to medicine cat meetings.
Now, in the canon books, Lionpaw meets with Heatherpaw in the tunnels. Here, however, instead we have Quailpaw meeting with Minnowpaw... I’m not sure where. Perhaps they were exploring ThunderClan territory and accidentally overstepped the borders, Quailpaw falling into the tunnels and them LARPing there? Anyways, both want to be warriors despite both having short fuses. Unlike in the canon books where after saving the WindClan kits Lionpaw and Heatherpaw’s friendship fades away, Quailpaw and Minnowpaw keep being friends, talking at Gatherings and occasionally asking Russetpaw, Willowpaw, Leafpool or Mothwing to tell them something or give them something when they come over to help. The kits they save here are Sneezekit and Mallowkit.
And as in the canon books, Lynxpaw trains in the Dark Forest. Tigerstar mentoring him honestly makes sense to me - there’s probably been several leaders named Tigerstar who have been colored like him given Tigerheart. Anyways, Tigerstar tells him he just wants to help him hone in on his powers. Of course, he wants to, so he trains in the Dark Forest.
Oh, also Russetpaw does have a power! At first Quailpaw tells her about his power and she pretends to be the one with it. However, after a bit, Leafpool figures out the facade and confronts Quailpaw about it. Russetpaw’s power takes longer to manifest, but she does have it, and it’s getting cats to tell the truth, basically hypnotizing them. She uses it a bit before she runs away into the tunnels to get cats to confess to breaking the warrior code, but after the reveal she decides that maybe she shouldn’t do that and instead uses it to figure out who’s training in the Dark Forest.
Anyways, onto Outcast!
Due to Brook and Stormfur formerly taking refuge in RiverClan, Leopardstar decides that one of their cats should go to the mountains as well alongside Crowfeather, Breezepaw, Squirrelflight, Tawnypelt, Quailpaw, Russetpaw and Brambleclaw. Lynxpaw volunteers, and his mentor (Dawnflower, Minnowpaw’s mom) therefore goes as well. Mothwing considers going, but ultimately doesn’t, instead deciding to teach Lynxpaw some herbs due to not fully trusting Russetpaw’s herb skills. He becomes a bit interested in them, but not enough to become a meddie.
After watching Lynxpaw during the battle with the rogues, Quailpaw tells him and Russetpaw a prophecy.
There will be three, kin of a great leader’s kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws. Look for the sharp-eyed quail. Listen out for the lynx’s roar. After both of these events have come and gone, peace will come on a gentle russet leaf.
Russetpaw is certain that she and Quailpaw are two of the cats in the prophecy, simply believing that Lynxpaw’s prefix being mentioned is just a coincidence due to the commonality of the prefix.
Lynxpaw doesn’t know what to think about it.
The prospect of being important excites Quailpaw. The cats who doubt him won’t any longer when they find out he’s a prophecy cat! Or at least, that’s what he hopes...
Eclipse goes about the same... aside from Lynxpaw not wanting to fight Quailpaw! He just became friends with him, and might be in the prophecy with him!
Sol tells Lynxpaw that he can explain the prophecy. Lynxpaw decides that he should tell Mothwing and Willowpaw about it, and firstly tells the latter of the two.
Willowpaw and him both agree that the great leader is likely Firestar, but could also be one of the original leaders, leaving Heatherpaw and Breezepaw as possible candidates. Lynxpaw tells her that Quailpaw told him the prophecy, and she says that they’re possible candidates too. He starts to have low self esteem after this, but Willowpaw comforts him and the two basically get together but they don’t realize cuz they’re dumbasses.
The two of them then go to tell Mothwing. At first she’s hesitant to believe them - she’s never really seen StarClan as much of a higher force then the living cats, they’re just dead cats, they’re as reckless and at times mouse-brained as they were when they were alive.
But she sees the glow in Lynxpaw’s eyes. It reminds her of what she loved about Leafpool. She sees Leafpool in the son she could never treat as her own. Believing Willowpaw to have received the prophecy (mouse-dung, we forgot to tell her that Quailpaw told me the prophecy), at the next Moonpool meeting she gives her her medicine cat name - Willowshine.
Due to how valiantly he fought in the battle, Lynxpaw is given his warrior name of Lynxcloud. Minnowpaw is given her warrior name at this time as well, as is Pebblepaw, with those two being named Minnowtail and Pebblefoot like in canon.
Quailpaw is also given his warrior name by Firestar, that being Quailwing after Mothwing.
Long Shadows is mostly the same except for one minor change, that being that Jay’s Wing is now named Quail’s Feather. Flamepaw, Dawnpaw and Tigerpaw help the Three fake an omen to get Blackstar to believe in StarClan again like in the canon books. The fire scene is also slightly different... but anyways, Russetpaw gets her full name of Russetleaf.
Now the fire scene... the whole reveal happens but afterwards Squilf reassures Russetleaf and Quailwing that she loves them as if they were her own kits, and that Brambleclaw does as well.
Quailwing takes a while to accept it, still being confused about his power... StarClan has given cats powers before, but for all he knows he’s just a kittypet or rogue or loner who was brought to the Clan at a young age. And how does Lynxcloud fit into this? Eventually though, he accepts it, deciding to try to help whoever the Three are with whatever the prophecy requires them to do.
Russetleaf, however, can’t accept it. She’s a disgrace to her Clan and has no right to be a medicine cat. She should’ve known she wasn’t in the prophecy, she doesn’t have a power at all... Cinderheart notices something’s wrong and talks to her about it, and they get together and she starts to feel better, even if she realizes that she’s breaking the code... she’s stopped caring anymore.
Eventually though, Russetleaf’s power appears and she’s confused. She accidentally uses it without realizing after Quailwing finds out that Leafpool’s their mother, in an attempt to figure out who their father/sire is. Also yes, I did shuffle events... partially cuz I forgot the order they happen in.
Russetleaf carried the blood red berries in her jaws as she entered camp. No one questioned her, though she saw a few cats giving her weird looks. I have to do this, she thought.
As she entered the medicine cat den, Leafpool looked up at her, fear in her eyes.
“Russetleaf, what are you-” Russetleaf cut her off.
“I know now,” she hissed, “Mother. I may not know who our father is, but-”
The medicine cat cut her off. The tortioseshell tabby noticed that her eyes looked... focused on something else, as if in a trance.
“While she’s not your father, per-say, Mothwing sired you, Quailwing and Lynxcloud,” her mother mewed, “now, may I please leave the den?”
Her eyes looked normal again halfway through her second sentence. Still confused, Russetleaf nodded, allowing Leafpool to exit the den.
What did I just do?
She experiments with her power, seeing who may’ve broken the warrior code. Mousewhisker (relationship with Minnowtail), Squirrelflight (hiding the truth), Brambleclaw (same as Squilf), heck, even Firestar (giving prey to RiverClan, giving Yellowfang prey and eating some of it before bringing it to the Clan, hiding Graystripe’s relationship with Silverstream, probably more)! ... all of them admit it.
She begins to feel... power-hungry. While the Dark Forest has been unable to recruit her due to her loyalty to ThunderClan, they are able to do one thing: will her to kill Ashfur. Leafpool had taught her some fighting techniques she’d learned from Cinderpelt and Mothwing, she knows a decent amount, and uses them to kill Ashfur. To keep her Clan safe.
This starts to weigh her down. She feels terrible. She broke the code... but she did it to keep her Clan safe! ... didn’t she?
She can’t keep it inside any longer. She tells everyone the truth at a Gathering. Mothwing and Leafpool are exposed. Firestar doesn’t want to make her give up her position, but Leafpool insists on it, scared of what Russetleaf could do. Leopardstar, who’s always been a code junkie even if she made two half-Clan cats deputy, made one of Tigerstar’s kits temporarily deputy even though she (I think) knew he was Firestar’s son, allowed one of Tigerstar’s kits who was formerly a rogue to be a medicine cat, relinquishes Mothwing’s position.
Lynxcloud says he wants to talk to his siblings, and they all go to the tunnels. Russetleaf needs to tell someone what she did... so she tells her brothers. And she runs in. And it seems as if she’s gone... dead...
But two young kits have potential.

russetfur vs. the entirety of skyclan || ch. 2
read this on ao3 || read this on fanfiction.net
chapter one
summary:  After enduring months of Turtlekit and Kitekit’s abuse, Rootkit finally snaps and accidentally awakens his powers. This has the unfortunate side effect of reviving the ghost of an angry Shadowclan warrior who: 1) is personally offended by Skyclan’s existence, and 2) has magnanimously taken it upon herself to relieve the world of that burden. Or something.
thanks for all the likes/reblogs/comments guys!! honestly i got way more support than i was expecting and i’m so grateful to all of you. now i bring you chapter two: In Which Rootkit Realizes He’s Over His Head
Rootkit starts with some research.
Once a long time ago, back when he'd been awed by his dad's abilities and not ashamed of them, Tree had told him and Needlekit how he pacified ghosts.
"First, of course, you have to talk to them," Tree'd told them.
"Like you always do!" Rootkit had chimed in. Even then, he'd known of his father's preference for talking over fighting.
Tree had purred. "Of course. Most ghosts don't want to fight; they just have unfinished business here. Talking first can save you a lot of time in getting to the root of the problem."
"What then?" Needlekit had asked.
"The ghost gives you a task. Usually, they want to right a wrong, or speak to their loved ones one last time. Something like that."
"Woah..."
"Once you complete the task, they'll be at peace. The ghost will be able to move on to the afterlife, or wherever they were supposed to go after they died."
In other words: figure out the unfinished business and finish it. Rootkit's already tried talking, with... not much success. Of course, that's hardly the only way of figuring out what a ghost's deal is; one of Tree's favorite stories had been about trying to help a mute she-cat whose throat had been torn out by dogs.
She'd wanted him to find her kittens and take them back to her owners, or something. Rootkit forgot.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that there's more than one way to skin a cat (wait, no, bad expression) and Rootkit doesn't have to talk to the crazy lady to get her pacified.
So. Research.
Rootkit starts off with Petalnose. Old people, in Rootkit's experience, know all the local gossip, and Petalnose is the oldest of everyone Rootkit knows. Except Leafstar, maybe, but he's not about to bother Leafstar for something like this.
Especially if she's really having second thoughts about his warrior ceremony.
Petalnose, at least, seems to have no such doubts. Unlike most of the clan, she's never seemed bothered by Tree's weirdness, and never treated Rootkit differently because of it. He appreciates that.
"Rootkit!" Petalnose exclaims when he climbs into the elders den. She jabs a paw into Fallowfern's side, who abruptly wakes up with a snort. "Look who's here!" she adds, gesturing to Rootkit with her tail.
"Hi, Rootkit," Fallowfern says, a little too loudly. Petalnose flicks her tail gently in the way that Rootkit's learned means a little softer. Fallowfern's voice is a little quieter when she says, "What brings you here?"
Rootkit plops down in front of the elders and regards them seriously. "I'm here about a cat," he says. "She said..." he trails off as an idea creeps into his mind. "Frecklewish said," he begins slowly. "She said something about a cat named Russetfur. And I wanted to know if you knew something about that."
It's vague and sketchy as heck, but Petalnose hums thoughtfully. "The name sounds sort of familiar. I think Tawnypelt may have mentioned her, when she was still here. Do you-?" She turns to Fallowfern and makes a conplicated series of gestures with her paws, tail, and ears that leaves Rootkit breathless trying to keep up.
After a moment, Fallowfern's expression clears. "Russetfur?" Her voice is too loud again, but Petalnose doesn't seem to mind. "She was Shadowclan's deputy once. Tawnypelt told us about her, remember?"
"Right!" Petalnose nods and turns back to Rootkit with a smile. "It was a long time ago, I think, before Rowanclaw became leader. Does that answer your question, hun?"
Rootkit considers this. It answers some questions - why she thought the camp was Shadowclan's territory, for one. She must've died back when it was still Shadowclan's. And she thought he smelled like a rogue because she didn't know Skyclan's scent.
It doesn't explain what her unfinished business is, though. Or why she's here in Skyclan's camp instead of at her own. But Rootkit thinks he might know the answer to the last one.
"Do you know how she died?" he asks.
Petalnose blinks, thrown. "Ah... no. Why do you ask?"
Rootkit abruptly remembers that it's a pretty weird thing to ask, no matter who's asking the question, and suddenly all his enthusiasm evaporates. "No reason," he mumbles, and slinks out of the den before she can say anything else.
When he gets outside, Russetfur is sitting by the entrance.
Rootkit yelps, backpedalling frantically, but Russetfur ignores it. "What is this?" she demands. "Some make-believe clan?"
"A... what?"
The she-cat turns on him, eyes sparking with fury. "A bunch of kittypets, playing pretend? Some of your Twoleg-coddlers haven't even changed their names. Harrybrook? Macgyver?" she snorts. "What kind of pathetic housepet names are those?"
Rootkit blinks at her, stung. They might look at him weird, but those are his clanmates she's talking about, and she has no right to make fun of them like that. "Hey-" he begins, but she steamrolls right over him.
"And not only do you embarrass the Clans' names with your little roleplay, you have the nerve to do it on Shadowclan land!"
"But it's not-"
"When leafbare comes, and you mewling Twoleg-snoggers get a taste of real hardship for the first time, you'll go running right back to your masters," Russetfur snarls. "And leave the forest for the real warriors. This is the land of our conquest! We carved out a place for ourselves 'mid hardship and suffering and war and we painted our border lines with blood! You pathetic coddled pets aren't even worthy of the air we breathe, let alone-"
Rootkit screws his eyes shut and screams, at the top of his lungs, "We're not kittypets, you old hag!"
Perfect silence descends on them, and it's only then that Rootkit realizes he's standing in the middle of the camp. Everyone's conversations have stuttered to a halt to stare at him and Russetfur, and no one's looking at Russetfur.
Rootkit swallows and wonders if it's too late to run away forever.
"Then what the Dark Forest are you," Russetfur says, and he remembers whose fault this all is in the first place.
"We're Skyclan," he hisses, glancing furtively at the rest of the camp. Everyone's still staring. "We were one of the original clans, but we got kicked out when the Twolegs took our territory. We just got back to the lake, only you don't know 'cause you've been dead," he adds in a vicious whisper.
Russetfur stares at him.
"Even if your stupid story was true," she says after a beat, "Any clan too weak to protect its territory deserves to be kicked out," and Rootkit sees red.
A second later, he's sprawled in the dirt several tail-lengths away with a brand new bruise across the face. Great, now the whole of Skyclan's seen him get belted halfway across the camp by thin air. This will do wonders for his reputation.
"Don't you try to get one over me, boy," Russetfur shouts. "I've been kicking warriors' butts all the way back to the nursery since before you were born."
Yeah, 'cause you've been dead since before I was born, Rootkit thinks, but he's not dumb enough to point it out. He's about to struggle to his feet when a shadow steps between him and the ghost.
"What's all this about," Tree says, a hint of something dangerous in his voice.
Russetfur, to her credit, doesn't seem cowed at all. She spits on the ground between them and raises her head to glare directly into his eyes. "Teaching that fool boy a lesson."
"That 'fool boy' happens to be my son," Tree says, and then, with an unnervingly pleasant tone, he adds, "Lay another paw on him and I'll rip it off."
A clump of dried bracken rolls by in the wake of Tree's announcement, and for a moment, no one moves.
Then Russetfur blurs. When the outlines of her shape resettle, she's poised with claws outstretched over Tree's vulnerable, unguarded throat. Rootkit wonders hysterically why she bothered to stop when she starts laughing. Unlike her earlier cold laughter, this seemed genuinely amused.
"Interesting," she says, and the mirth in her voice sends shivers down Rootkit's spine. Then he realizes that Tree's claws are suspended over her belly, at precisely the angle needed to rip out her intestines with one move. "At least one of you has something like a spine." Faster than Rootkit can follow, she smacks Tree aside with one paw, sending him hurtling to the ground next to Rootkit.
"Dad!" Rootkit wails, scurrying over to him, but Tree flings out a paw to stop him.
"What do you want, ghost?" he calls out. His voice is unruffled and perfectly steady despite his fall.
"I want you gone," Russetfur says. "I want you and the rest of this kittypet clan to go crawling back to your masters with your tails between your legs. And I won't rest until I see it happen."
Tree rises and shakes the dust from his pelt. His eyes are half-lidded, like he truly doesn't care. "I suppose we're at an impasse, then. This camp is Skyclan's home; Shadowclan gave it to us themselves."
Russetfur snorts. "Blackstar would sooner hang himself by his own intestines than hand over any land to kittypets like you."
... right, whoever that is. Rootkit watches Tree blink in confusion. Russetfur doesn't seem to notice.
"This is my declaration of war," she announces. It's snarled like a challenge, thrown down like a glove on the ground between them. "Me versus the whole of Kittypetclan. Your chances are looking dim, housepet."
Tree visibly sighs. "Ma'am, no one wants that," he says. "If you'd listen, perhaps we could come to a reasonable agreement that everyone's happy with."
"The only agreement I'll be happy with is you and your lot of Twoleg toys dead!" Russetfur lunges at his dad, but even as Tree braces himself for the attack, the ghost dissipates into thin air that blows past him like wind.
Rootkit, who's close enough to feel it, shudders as the ice-cold air claws at his skin.
Tree blinks and relaxes his muscles belatedly. There's a moment of silence before someone asks, "Uh, was there a ghost?"
Rootkit starts and turns to the crowd, having almost forgotten they were there.
"In the camp?" Reedclaw frets. "Is that safe?"
"Hey, wait." Pigeonfoot cranes her head to get a glimpse of Rootkit. Rootkit realizes what's coming even before she says it, and his heart sinks. "Rootkit was talking to it before you even got here. Does that mean he can see ghosts too?"
Rootkit freezes.
And then Tree steps in front of him, shielding him from their audience. "It's not uncommon for kits to able to see ghosts," he says evenly. "Kits tend to have greater sensitivity to the spiritual and can sense a lot of things adults can't. It'll probably disappear as he grows older. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get my son to the nursery."
Rootkit stares at his dad and, to his horror, feels tears of gratitude welling up in the corner of his eyes. "Dad," he begins, but Tree just shushes him and picks him up by the scruff of his neck in a way he hasn't done since Rootkit was a couple moons old. Rootkit lets himself be carried back to the nursery and when his dad drops him in a nest and curls around him, he doesn't protest.
Needlekit crawls over from the nest they'd shared earlier. "What happened out there," she asks in a small voice, and Rootkit finds that his throat is too choked to answer her.
His dad purrs comfortingly and a moment later Rootkit feels Tree's tongue rasp gently over his head. "We'll get her out of here," he says. "And no one will be hurt. I promise."

🏳️‍🌈 and 💌 for all of them!
OH BOY ALL OF THEM? ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT? OKAY SURE, I'LL JUST DEVIDE THEM INTO SERIES
Most of these motherfuckers don't have canon sexualities or genders tbh, I'm just going with what fits the best at the moment and describes them the best, might change it later! In-universe they don't really care about these kind of things.
🏳️‍🌈What's their orientation and gender?
💌Are they crushing on anyone or is anyone crushing on them?
Series 1:
Silverstar: Queer tom, doesn't really have a set orientation besides being not straight. As for crushes, he used to live his cat wife Petalfall but it was in the past.
Petalfall: Bi she-cat, same as above with crushes.
Berrytail: Gay tom, never really had much of a love life since he died pretty young. Had a typical teenage crush in his mentor but that quickly passed as he grew up.
Brownwhisker: Queer she-cat, doesn't have a set orientation other than that she's not straight and def prefers she-cats. She's currently an elderly cat in Tree Clan living out her last days with her cat wife.
Snowflower/Blackstar: Demi she-cat, never really put much thought into her orientation considering she never felt attraction besides to Oakclaw/star. She had mutual love relationship with Oak.
Crookedface/Batwing: Acearo tom, never had and never will have a crush, though she was pretty popular with both she-cats and toms in his clan.
Snowspeckle: Lesbian she-cat, never had much of a love life or even crushes considering she put all her attention into her work as a medicine cat which she loved.
Oakclaw/star: Bi tom. Used to have a crush on Bluebell in their apprentice days but grew out of it, had a romantic relationship with Blackstar and he still loves her, even after they had to break up.
Series 2:
Springleaf/Blazingfire/star: Pan she-cat. Oh boy where do I start- Used to like Yarrowpaw and he liked her back until the asshole forced her into a relationship and was abusive to her. She also liked her childhood friend and Yarrow's sister, Rosethorn and their mutual friend Palefur and Rose felt the same but Pale not so much. As apprentices and even as a warrior Sunpaw/stream had a gigantic crush on her. She had a brief thing with two rogues Midnight and Thunder, Midnight ended up breaking up with these two and returning home but Thunder followed her to Lake Clan. She eventually ended up developing feelings for Sunstream and he moved clans and the three ended up mates and had kits.
Thornfang/star: Bi tom with a slight preference for toms. Had a mate Stone and a she-cat from their clan agreed to surrogate a kit for them.
Ravenshade: Queer tom, again not really specified but has a preference for she-cats. Currently living with his cat wife Silverleaf and they're raising their second litter of kittens.
Yarrowslash: Straight tom, had an obsessive crush on Springleaf.
Rosethorn: Lesbian, had a mutual crush on Springleaf and Palefur, ended up mates with Palefur.
Palefur: Lesbian, used to be mates with Rose before her love kicked the bucket.
Littlepaw: genderfluid tom who doesn't care about his attraction enough to label it, never had a crush and doesn't care for love life, just happily living his life as a loner.
Sunstream: Demi-pan tom, had a GIGANTIC crush on Blazingfire when they were longer and even bigger crush when they got older, he loved his cat wife dearly and eventually after moving to her Clan he ended up developing feelings for her other mate Thunder, which was mutual!
Thunder: A tom that swings all ways, had a thing with Midnight which wasn't too serious then Blazing came around and he fell for her hard, later on also fell for Sunstream.
Stone: Gay tom, was sent by his boss to spy on Thorn Clan but ended up falling for Thornstar
Bluebell: Demi she-cat, has a crush on Oakstar since kithood.
Snowwhisker: Ace gay tom, had a crush on his friend from their younger days before he sadly passed away.
Dawnwhisker: Grey-lesbian, doesn't currently have a love interest but maybe in the future 👀
(I think that's all the major characters???)
Series 3:
Foxspirit: Gay trans tom, doesn't have a romantic interest
Frostbird: Homoflexible she-cat??? Uhhh idk her orientation is very fluid. She's a beauty with many cats crushing on her but she herself doesn't really have anyone.
Dandelionheart: Ace lesbian, no romantic interest atm, she's just vibin
Cheetahfur: Trans lesbian, no love interest
Hawkpaw and Eaglepaw: Two gay boys, just living their best life with no crushes yet
Rabbithop: Queer Genderfluid/Trigender (a gender, Tom, shecat), had a crush on Frostbird
Mossclaw: Lesbian, no love interest, but hate interest in Foxspirit aka she wants to fucking murder him
Togerpounce: Gay and agender, no crushes
Sunfall/star: Gay tom, has a mate that I forgot the name of but he gay too
Curlywhisker: Bi she-cat, used to be in relationship with one son of a bitch guy but he turned abusive so fuck him, rn she's single and happy
The others don't really have set orientations yet! Didn't thought that further ahead yet lmao

After the battle, a lot of things changed. Both Windclan and Riverclan were completly destroyed by the dark forest warriors and now, everyone had to move on. Though Thunderclan has suffered the least amount of damage, they still lost all their cats that were in important ranks. At first, the entire clan feel into a state of panic but due to the efforts of Rosepetal, Thornclaw and Brakenfur, the three were able to calm everyone down. After plenty of discussions, Brakenfur was elected as the new leader and Rosepetal became the deputy. Thornclaw didn't want to take any of the more important roles, as he felt the other two cats were much more qualified and as long as Rosepetal lets him run patrols, it's all okey. He still helps them with important decisions from time to time. Hollyleaf, though not that fond of the idea, decided she'll use her medicine cat knowlage for good and became the new medicine cat. She also hoped to honor her mother and brother by taking the posision and is trying her best to move on by herself. She keeps closely in contact with Blossomfall and Ivypool and is ready to claw anyone who taunts them for their past mistakes On the other hand Dustpelt, Ferncloud and Cloudtail choose to greif together and slowly formed a strong bond. During the dark forest battle the she-cat was knocked down by Brokenstar while defending the nursery and when she woke up, all of the kits and queens were already dead. This left Ferncloud heartbroken and feeling gulty over their deaths, especially Brightheart's. For the longest time the she-cat thought Cloudtail hated her for not being able to save his mate, but fortunally, he understood that nothing could've been done and did everything to make sure Ferncloud could move on. He also became a bit attached to Ivypool, as she reminded Cloudtail of her grandmother and you can still sometimes see them talking near the fresh-kill pile Blossomfall and Ivypool, being the only ex-dark forest trainees left alive, decided to help each other out in this hard time. They both were pretty broken after both loosing almost all of their family and still are, but are doing much better. Ivypool has really bad night terrors from time to time and often has to sleep next to someone so they can make sure she doesn't hurt herself in her sleep. That cat, more often than not is Blossomfall Meanwhile in Shadowclan, things were a bit more organized. Both Blackstar and Rowanclaw were lost in the battle and Tigerheart, who Rowanclaw named as his deputy last minute, was dying due to very bad infection. While taking his last breath, he named Dawnpelt, his sister, the new leader and told her to take care of their clan. The she-cat was in complete shock, as she and everyone expected Ferretclaw to be given the posision. Dawnpelt didn't want to take her brothers wishes for granted and took his place, while making Ferretclaw the new deputy. They were both not very experienced cats and leadership still sometimes proves to be difficult for them, but they still get through their grudges against others and ultimatly create the most okey-est leader and deputy duo. After some time, they become mates and Dawnstar gives birth to three kits: Tigerkit, Flamekit and Juniperkit. Since Shadowclan doesn't have any medicine cats Pouncepaw is choosen to start training and Hollyleaf volenteers to be his part-time mentor. Pouncepaw often isn't eagar to lern and talks about how he would rather return to his warriors training, but in reality it's not that clear. The tom was deeply traumatized during the battle and has a bad case of PTSD. Just being near even a pretend fight gives him very bad axiety, even worse when he has to do anything. In some way, he is glad that he spends most of his days in the medicine cat den, but he would never admit to it. The fact that he had no saying on the matter made him really angry. Hollyleaf on the other hand, though she doesn't think forcing him into the position was a good idea, adores her new student, as he reminds her a lot of Jayfeather. He likes her too, but is too proud to say anything After Kinkfur died, Mistkit was taken in by Ivytail, who's kits passed away during the battle. The two almost imidietly grew very close, especially since the other she cat was already sort of a "auntie" to her while Kinkfur was still alive. It's hard for both of them, but they feel safe with each other and are able to move on from all the terrible things that happend. They are a small, happy family and Ivytail always appriciates when the really sweet ex-queen Snowbird comes to give them freshkill. Mistkit always tries to presue her to stay for a little longer and let's just say that it's not only the kitten's cuteness that has the white she-cat coming back Snaketail is pretty happy to come back to his warriors duties, since he didn't enjoy being an elder at all. He just wished all of this didn't have to happend for him to come back. Though he's loyal in his warriors duties he's often seen whining about how he wishes the "good old days of Blackstar" would come back and how all of these medeling kids are lazy and don't do anything Onestar and Chrouchpaw are the two lone survivors of Windclan. After the battle they were both found in the camp, Onestar by Thunderclan and Chrouchpaw by Shadowcla Onestar was in a state of deep distress after he realized that Windclan was no more. Though he was saved by Thunderclan and offered to be their warrior, the gulit ate him from inside and he became much more angry and snappy. Thunderclaners hated his presence, since he did nothing but whine and be angry all day. Even after the word came, that Chrouchpaw was still alive, it still didn't satisfy Onestar. After all, what a weak apprentice and a old leader could do? One night, the tom just simply left the camp and was never seen again. It is rumored that Onestar became a kittypet, but no one is really sure Chrouchpaw on the other side was warmly welcomed by Shadowclan and almost imidietly given Snaketail as mentor. Though he slowly accepts his life in Shadowclan, he dearly misses Winclan. The young cat idolizes Onestar, since he almost sactificed his life to the apprantice in a battle and belives that the tom died due to battle wounds and not that he escaped. The clans decided to not tell him the truth. He has a complicated relationship with Poucepaw. The young tom cat belive Chrouchpaw should have been a medicine cat instead of him and though the other apprantice tries to make friends, Pouncepaw doesn't want to accept him Heronpaw was the only survivor of Riverclan and the trauma of seeing all of his family and clanmates die lead him to become completly feral and repress his memories. He was found by the Thunderclan patrol fighting for meat with a bunch of crows around a moon after the battlee and was imidietly taken to the camp. None of the cats really knew what to do about the traumatized tom, but Ferncloud was willing to take him in. Heronpaw still has a lot of problems socializing with other cats and forgot a lot about how to be a clan member, but Ferncloud and Hollyleaf, who also has to watch over him for health reasons helped the tom made a great recovery

hey, uh, i’m Talonpaw, i was an apprentice in ShadowClan when you, Blackstar, were leader. I don’t know if you remember me or not, but I’m just stopping in to say that you were an awesome leader who I really looked up to, and I was curious about what warrior name you would have given me?
Talonpaw!! Of course I remember you, none of our clan ever forgot! You were a legend for longer than I lived, to teach all the kits to be brave. Everyone was inspired by your courage, including me.I’m proud that I could have been someone you would look up to! Had I been given the chance I would have named you Talonheart, I believe : o
