so you're telling me the eastern kingdom's mages are losing their mana, it has an absolutely incompetent dipshit emperor who probably can't even spell diplomacy, has not only lost the empress keeping the entire empire together but also put an illiterate lying runaway slave in said empress' spot, and is without an heir? + the western empire gains heinley as its king and navi as queen, has two direct descendants in the line of succession? all while heinley mentions he has some big plan in motion?

in the novel heins tells mckenna something along the lines of, "i can't marry queen yet. how can i take her from the seat of an empress just to make her a simple queen?"
