Aquarius ♒: You may not be where you want to be on a physical, mental, and emotional level, in fact, you may feel a little fucked up right now by your surroundings, but remember that we are 100% more than our surroundings. True contentment, true happiness starts with our mind, with out perspective. You could have every dream you desire come true, but if you aren't happy with yourself, if you aren't the main source of your sanity, it can crumble at any second. Try meditating or using your body to get out of your mind and let your spirit find a level of peace. Don't shame yourself for wanting to let out a scream.
Channeled song:
I'm So Sick - Flyleaf
Tumblr media
Pisces ♓ pt. 1: I definitely don't think this will resonate with everyone but are you feeling self conscious about your body right now? You need to accept you are fucking beautiful in the body you're in, you're naturally stunning. I feel that you're missing out on opportunities and fun due to the self conscious doubts about your looks that pop up in your mind whenever you think about getting out there. People think you are bad as fuck. End of story. Now go to the mirror and tell yourself you're the mf baddest.
Channeled song:
Thick - O.T. Gemasis ft. 2 Chainz
Tumblr media
Pisces ♓ pt. 2: I felt called to do another reading for pisces. Are you torn between going back to explore an old love or exploring a new love option? Or maybe determing which energy you want to embrace at the moment? The king of cups is very sweet, very charming, chilvery but he also gets caught up in his emotions towards people which are forever changing and he is clairfied by the knight of wands; he moves with the passion of his emotions which doesn't offer much stability. The king of pentacles is the opposite, he may not be very daring or spontaneous, may even lack a sense of passion, but he brings in the energies of stability, maturity, and dependability. Clarified by the sun, I'm getting a sense of honesty and warmth from him. Whether you are deciding moves between two people or deciding on energies within yourself, it's up to you to choose which path is what you truly desire on a soul level.
Channeled song:
He Wasn't Man Enough - Toni Braxton

The Balance of Destiny: An Aquarian Journey
(transits of my chart chronicles)
In the realm of the zodiac, the Fifth House was a vibrant and creative space, filled with the energy of self-expression and playfulness. But something was amiss. Aquarius, the unconventional and innovative sign, was struggling to find balance between his unique ideas and the expectations of others. He felt torn between his desire to stand out and his duty to fit in.
As he wandered through the Fifth House, lost in thought, he suddenly heard a deep, resonant voice. "Aquarius, it seems you're struggling to find balance”Aquarius turned to see Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, with his brooding expression and piercing gaze.
"Yes, I'm not sure how to reconcile my unconventional ideas with the expectations of others," confessed Aquarius.
Just then, a warm and cheerful voice joined the conversation. "Don't worry, Aquarius. We're here to help you find your true self and shine your light on the world," said the Sun, the radiant celestial body, with a bright and energetic smile.
Pluto's eyes gleamed with wisdom. "That's where your North Node comes in, Aquarius. It's located on the 26th block of your sign, guiding you towards your destiny. You have a crucial role to play in shaping the future."
The Sun nodded in agreement. "And we'll be here to support you every step of the way.”
A sense of determination filled Aquarius. "Thank you, Pluto and Sun. I feel inspired to embrace my true self and make a positive impact on the world."
Pluto's voice was steady and serious. "And so it begins, Aquarius. Your journey of transformation has only just begun."
The Sun's voice was cheerful and optimistic. "And now, I must continue my journey through the zodiac. I'm off to shine my light on Pisces in the sixth house!"
As the Sun's warm rays faded, Pluto turned to Aquarius. "And I will stay here in the Fifth House to guide you. Together, we'll uncover the power of your individuality and shape your destiny."
And so, Aquarius embarked on a journey of transformation, embracing his unique qualities and finding balance between his unconventional ideas and his responsibilities to society. He realized that by honoring his true self, he could make a meaningful contribution to the world and play a crucial role in shaping the future. With the guidance of his North Node, the support of celestial allies like Pluto and the Sun, and his own determination and courage, Aquarius set out to create a brighter, more innovative, and more inclusive world. 🌎💫
In the end, Aquarius realized that his unique perspective and unconventional ideas were not something to be suppressed or hidden, but rather a gift to be shared with the world. He learned that true growth and transformation come from embracing all aspects of oneself, and that balance is not about sacrificing one's individuality, but about finding a way to integrate it into the world in a meaningful and constructive way. Aquarius's journey was not easy, but with the guidance and support of his celestial allies, he was able to find his true path and make a positive impact on the world. 💫🌟

“I LAUGHED AT THE WRONG TIME - SAT WITH THE WRONG GUY - SEARCHIN' "HOW TO START A CONVERSATION?" ON A WEBSITE”
INTRODUCING…
NAME: Roxana 'Roxie' Mage Diaz
GENDER & PREFERRED PRONOUNS: Cis woman (She/Her)
AGE: 21
BIRTHDAY: February 14, 2003
ZODIAC: Aquarius Sun, Leo Rising, Pisces Moon
SEXUALITY & ROMANCE: Bisexual / Biromantic
FACE CLAIM: Olivia Rodrigo
OCCUPATION: Singer/Songwriter/Actress
HOMETOWN: Coachella Valley, CA
CURRENT RESIDENCE: The Cove, Cape May, NJ
CHARACTER PLAYLIST: HERE.
UP NEXT: “BALLAD OF A HOMESCHOOLED GIRL” BY OLIVIA RODRIGO ROXIE DIAZ
BIOGRAPHY: tw dysfunctional family
Roxana was born and raised in a middle class home on the outskirts of Coachella Valley. With a mother who worked as an online assistant and a father who was a marriage and family therapist, there was never a lack of attention for any of the Diaz kids. If anything, their family dynamics were uberly healthy. So healthy, that it posed as an annoyance to Roxie who felt that dilemmas were pushed aside rather than addressed head-on and fixed. This feeling and viewpoint hadn't come around until her teen years, though whenever she attempted to bring it up - it was swept under the rug. Though there were these vastly differentiating views within the household, it didn't lead to any outward rebellion from Roxana. She loved her parents, even if their marriage that once was viewed so perfect was slowly coming undone in front of Roxie's eyes. Seeing that she was homeschooled, Roxana didn't really spend much time with other kids other than her siblings. This didn't necessarily upset her, seeing that it helped her mother out in the long run with all these kids running amuck in the house. Though chaos was the norm due to the amount of people in such a small space, Roxana always found herself clinging to her laptop and watching musicals as a way to disconnect from the hectic day-to-day of the Diaz household. Her favorite accessory her earbuds that she sported in order to drown out everything around her and escape. Roxana messing with Garage Band on her apps was one thing, but when she posted her silly little teenage angst songs on Tumblr, she wasn't expecting a following. Though she only has two albums out at this point (Olivia Rodrigo's discography), Roxie has around 3.2 million listeners on Spotify and has a cult following. She hadn't even attempted to move to LA, hunkering down in Cape May as a way of defiance and to drive a wedge between her and the limelight that seems to be slowly creeping up on her. Barely even having a taste of it, Roxie is torn; the pressure is already enough to make her shut down completely, but she can't shake this feeling that she was born to pour her heart out into a mic.
EXTRA-EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT HER!
Roxana is her father's daughter, if she likes it or not. Always overstepping when it comes to helping others and their problems a complete parallel to how her father reacts to her mom. Roxie is a romantic and tends to fall in love at the drop of a hat. Very water sign of her, but she romanticizes people and when they show their faults, she scrambles to fix them and that's when shit hits the fan. To this day, she knows she hasn't truly been in love, but she yearns for that fairytale type of romance; even if that expectation is only setting her up for failure. Roxana loves Y2K fashion as well as vintage pieces that she can throw together with a pair of chunky boots. Her fashion is her saving grace in her mind, seeing that she feels she doesn't get along with most people. Maybe it's the fact she is more of an introvert, maybe it's because she was homeschooled and that made her awkward - who knows (it's both). Roxana is beyond creative and once the inspiration hits, it's hard to turn it off. She's very talented through the ways of guitar and piano, and she's self-taught along with some fundamentals from her dad on the guitar front. Roxie tends to strive to make connections with people, but struggles in how to formulate strong bonds. The worry that people could be using her is also now another factor into her deficient social skills. Though, her awkwardness tends to give her an air of comedic timing to her being. She loves a good book, thrifting and attending hole-in-the-wall concerts. Roxie tends to try to blend into the background at events due to her lack of social skills, but attention seems to find her no matter what. She also doesn't help herself, seeing that she feels emotions so intensely and tends to be dramatic. She can't keep a secret to save herself. She's vulnerable, raw, real on the flip side of it. If you were to manage to maintain a good friendship with Roxie, she's always one to answer her phone at any hour. She'd also drop everything to be there for you in a heartbeat. Just a spicy Pisces who can't flirt.
PERSONALITY:
+ Creative, Loyal, and Romantic
- Melodramatic, Awkward, and Introverted

hey there, so i have a question. who would you, as a scorpio, date from chris’ characters? i am a scorp and i loveeee Andy so so much, and I know he would be an amazing daddy to me, I know he would take care of me and dote on me, but…based on my real life experience, I think I could only imagine myself dating Ransom tbh. The toxicity? The meanness? I feel like he wouldn’t put up with my bullshit. I mean he would, but not in the way “now i’m offended and i’m gonna go cry bye”. He would just put me in my place and omg yeeesssss just fuck the attitude outta me. On the other hand, would he cheat? That I wouldn’t tolerate. Like the whole relationship would be a nasty sex, throwing insults at each other and at our weakest moments we would be disgustingly clingy and sappy. (Also, bonus question: what sign do you think Andy is? 👀 I wanna know our compatibility)
Sorry for taking so long, I was really thinking about it lol.
It is hard to just pick one and stick with it. When I’m in my dark, angsty moods, I fucking want Ransom. I think he can be so sweet if he really wanted and I think the way that he shows his version of love would be so unique and fun. The issue is, who would stop the argument? I think Ransom is very sensitive. Too sensitive. If you hurt him a little, he’s going to try to one up you. And scorpios are all about revenge (lol guilty) and it’s just never going to get resolved.
But then I know I want Andy like most of the time. I love him, I think he’s a beautiful person who just wants to help and make things better. That’s why he became a lawyer. And I can’t get over the fact that he loves his son so much and his wife and how badly he just wants a good, happy family. Andy would definitely love me the way that I should be loved, the way that would keep me long term happy. And I LOVE that he truly believed Jacob was innocent. I feel like that’s the loyalty that Scorpios crave. Bc idk about you, but I know people. I can read them pretty fast and I know pretty early on if something is well within their behavior. You know what I mean? It’s just about that unshakable trust that not many people have, but Andy does! he doesn’t trust many people, but the ones he does trust, he 1000000% trusts them.
But at the same time, I can’t pretend that he’s not a little closed off! That would be hard for me. That would start to weigh on me and that makes me feel like I would love Steve! He’s a cancer (and I’m currently experiencing a real life cancer obsession 🙄 and honestly, I love how emotional he can be!) so with Steve, there would be SO MUCH and I know he can get consumed by things, I know he can get busy, but when he’s present, I know he would be the most loving person to ever exist.
Sexually, this might sound weird but I don’t think Ransom would always be perfect. Hear me out, I head canon Ransom as a Libra. Can they be good? Yes. Sexually, are they going to change to match your moods? Not unless you make them super mad. The problem with Ransom would be that sometimes he would be into his own emotions so much that he just wouldn’t care what’s going on with you or yours.
Andrew, on the other hand, would be so accommodating. And it’s just the fact that he has such a messy job. Like he constantly puts people in their place and like yeah, if Ransom yelled at me, I would be so fucking down, but like Andy wouldn’t need to yell at me. Like Ransom has to work for my respect, Andy just has it. If I was in a mood, I would push Ransom. I would never push Andy without his permission lol. And Steve, well, we know that that’s going to be a little different. I don’t head canon him as someone who isn’t into rough sex—like, he comes from the generation of war PTSD being ignored. Y’all wanna tell me they don’t have unhelpful coping methods? Steve is definitely an angry sex kinda person, but then he can be the softest bitch to ever exist.
Let’s get into the smaller characters. Dating? Not sure. But I would be down to be Freezy’s phone slut. Dead ass, he calls and I’m there. And I’d prob get super attached and he wouldn’t give me any reason to, but I’d still do it. Any day, any time. And I would talk about other guys to get on his nerves even though there are definitely no other guys.
Frank is an interesting one. He’s busy but when Mary is older, when life is a little more settled, I think he would be perfect. It might be irritating to a Scorpio how slow he is to trust and let them into his life, but idk I feel like he could definitely grow into a really great partner. He looks like he craves the same things Andy does—a perfect family.
So! Andy’s sign. I’m torn between two. The obvious part of me wants to say a Capricorn. His work ethic, his determination, his need for control. At the very least, a few Caps are in his chart. But I could also hear the case for him being a Virgo. Something about his modest vibes, his reserved nature, how quiet he is, but also still, how he handles himself at work. I would love to hear what you think, too! Are there any other signs you think would work?
I’ll also tell you which ones I definitely know he’s just not! Not an Aries—if I talk shit about Aries a lot, I do apologize. I didn’t have great experiences with them but currently, I have two friends. That’s it. They are both Aries lol. So, my opinion of them has been corrected BUT Andy has enviable control of his emotions. His anger, specifically. Sure. He had his moments, but he also tested positive for that gene. He wouldn’t be able to control himself if he was an Aries. I don’t think he’s a fire sign at all. He’s too controlled.
And as much as I love Tauruses and as compatible as I am with them, deep down, I just know he’s not a Taurus. There’s something missing that I don’t necessarily think he’s as earthy as they usually are.
And listen, as much as I don’t like them (except Daddy!), I am willing to admit, he could be a Gemini. Laurie felt like he didn’t listen sometimes, def a Gemini thing. And I do feel like sometimes there were two different versions of Andy, not wholly different, but just sometimes he was a little unpredictable.
Definitely not a libra or cancer. I don’t know a lot about Pisces. I don’t think he’s weird enough to be an Aquarius lol, but I could be wrong about that. So yeah, I’m leaning toward Cap or Virgo.

ALL HEADCANONS ATM
Ruby - Bisexual Aries
Poppy - Bisexual Aquarius
Sunny - Lesbian Pisces
Jade - Lesbian Scorpio
Skyler - Bisexual Cancer
Violet - Bisexual Leo
Bella - Lesbian Virgo
Amaya - Lesbian Sagittarius
— SIDE HEADCANONS & INFO
amaya radiates bisexual energy. from the colour of her eyes to just her whole vibe. she’s literally a bi icon. and to figure out the aries energy, just read her bio on the website like. it felt like reading the generic aries bio.
poppy is debatable for like... whether or not i think she’s bi or lesbian. if anything, i think she’s just bi with a female lean. i also headcanon her to have ADHD! it’s kind of a common headcanon within the fandom and i can’t help but agree with everyones reasoning for it. for the aquarius thing, i think i might switch that up? now that we know the girls better, i’m going to see if i wanna update my zodiac headcanons bc these ones are from like... before the series even aired. if not then around the time ep 1 came out lol
sunny is literally a lesbian idc. pisces may change??? idk i’ve seen a couple people pull out libra for her and i’m going to look into it! also headcanon her to be autistic bc once my friends and mutuals pointed out a few things, i was like okay yes i am now jumping onto this headcanon i love it
jade is literally a scorpio idc and i know she’s the biggest lesbian in the whole show. she reallt said f men & stan my gf, bella
skyler is most definitely a bisexual queen, but she’s closeted af bc of her insecurity. i mean reading her bio we know she’s pretty much the shy one out of the group. so i think it’s only fitting. she literally is in love with ruby i take no criticisms. cancer is perfect for her i am not second guessing that headcanon
we all know violet is as big of a bisexual as ruby, if not then it’s more painfully obvious. she’s definitely someone to geek over boys but i totally see her being in love with ruby. now i cant say i see ruby returning those feelings to someone like vi BUT. seeing vi’s bi panic in the vi life over the A’s was the funniest thing and she just radiates that energy. i think i’m sticking to leo for my headcanon but i’ll look into anything else
now with bella im torn between virgo or capricorn. i’m going to look more into both and try to mentally dive into bella’s character some more but in the meantime i’ll say virgo. and she’s a lesbian idc she’s just. she’s like that big walking businesswoman who is already tall but the heels make her taller. and she likes to be a boss bc she doesn’t like men in charge which mood. and she’s obviously taller than jade like i just HAD that headcanon before we saw it in ep 7 lol. also i dig the trans bella headcanon!
now for amaya she’s. she’s literally a rainbow like HSNDJSJ how can u not headcanon her to be lgbt. anyway she has a massive crush on sunny and i’m not 100% sure on my sag headcanon for her but i’ll look into it

Autumn Horoscopes for 2019
written by Caitlin Conlon
published on Thought Catalog
ARIES: You grew out of your old self and found a new one and this wasn’t part of the plan. Maybe it takes what you thought your future was and paints it in shades of blue. The color of depth. The color of stability. The color of the sky when you realized that you’re going to survive every mistake you’ve ever made, even the ones that brought you to your knees. Is it really so bad to look forward and see possibility rather than safety? Be comfortable with uncertainty. It will free you more than you realize.
TAURUS: What’s changed: your environment, or you? The passage of time has certainly taken a toll on your heart, kneading it between its fingers into something malleable and shapeless. But it’s impossible to ignore that the landscape of your body has gone through its own transformations as well, leaving you stuck in the middle of a battlefield. It isn’t too late for you to redefine your parameters, or find solitude in the aspects of your identity that confuse you. It’s not all supposed to make sense, yet.
GEMINI: Asking for help isn’t something you were ever taught and I know it’s something you struggle with from time to time. So on the nights you’re unable to formulate that question, the nights where you’re having trouble finding somewhere to rest, remember that passion will bring you home to yourself. Reignite the spark that once kept you motivated and put it next to your bed as a reminder of everything you will eventually accomplish. It’ll light the way for your voice when you feel ready to speak.
CANCER: Where do you keep your love? In your back pocket? In the bedroom? In the sound that your heart makes whenever they walk into the room? Sometimes it can be hard to pinpoint where exactly we hold our more precious emotions, but it’s more important than ever to recognize their origin. If you’re to move forward from the past, completely, then it’s necessary to understand why you exist and feel the way you do. Or, at least come to terms with the not knowing. Love will be tender if you are tender with it.
LEO: When does the self-imposed pressure end? When you’re drained of all energy? Breaking yourself to fit into an unhealthy routine? Life is not a set of deadlines that you have to follow in order to succeed, and you’ll drive yourself directly into a wall if you live your life by the calendar without any room for error or movement. Embrace your limits without judging their shapes. Your productivity does not have to be monumental in order to be relevant or good. Time will be there for you, there’s no reason to put it on a leash.
VIRGO: Say goodbye. Say goodbye in whatever way you know how. With a booming voice or a soft whisper. With every bone in your body quaking. Whether it’s a person, an era of your life, a place -- you’ll know when the time comes. Don’t let this departure be a moment you replay over and over in your head until it’s unwatchable. You will regret not being honest about how you feel more than you’ll regret the consequences of your words. Don’t look in the rearview mirror. Nothing new is waiting behind you.
LIBRA: You’re sitting on a wealth of information and resources and creativity and beauty and when you forget to look down, you forget that it’s there. Commit this to memory: you have the power to give yourself everything you want. There are obstacles, of course, and there will be failures, but that’s to be expected with any journey. When you feel unsure and your confidence is wavering, look at your feet. Look at what has carried you so far already. Look at everything you’ve planted, sprouting up around you.
SCORPIO: Sacrificing your comfort in order to move forward isn’t actually moving forward. It’s draping a tablecloth over some scratches and calling it harmless decoration. You shouldn’t have to trade well-being for success, and if anybody ever makes you feel otherwise recognize that as a red flag. There is a universe where it’s possible to be happy and healthy and this is it, you’re living in it. Don’t be fooled by the bright lights and loud noises within your body. You are still creating a place where things can grow.
SAGITTARIUS: If joy is a part of you then let it be the biggest part. Let it consume the sections of you that were torn, ragged and bruised, let it burn away the memories you’d rather not remember. You don’t owe anything to those that left you for dead. Celebrating your life is now an act of rebellion, a song that deserves to be shouted into the darkness that once felt all-encompassing and numbing. So sing. Don’t feel that you need to mask your happiness. Being vocal about your triumphs is necessary, and good.
CAPRICORN: Where does work end and your happiness begin? And why do you so often confuse the two? The more time you spend sharpening yourself into a vehicle of labor is less time spent tapping into the part of your brain that enjoys being creative, spontaneous, and free. Don’t let the fear of falling behind stop you from cultivating your interests and spending time with people that adore you. Make time for yourself, and take care of your body.
AQUARIUS: Figuring out which direction is the right one has been a challenge lately. When there are so many things pulling you in a million different ways, every way you turn feels like a mistake. Like somebody is going to get hurt. Like you’re going to do something irreversible and embarrassing. You don’t need a compass to find your inner North. Trust your instincts whenever you find yourself at a crossroads. You know more than you think you do about making tough decisions.
PISCES: If you can embrace the person you were five years ago, why not the person you were five minutes ago? Despite the alterations you’ve made to yourself, from physical attributes to emotional development, your sense of identity has remained strong throughout your life. You, finally, know who you are...even on the days you aren’t quite sure of anything else. So be unapologetic during your periods of transition, and know you’ll blossom into somebody you’re proud to be. Have faith in your future selves.

M(erry) Monday: Just Some Get to Know You Stuff...
So I got these from moonysmind so I should probably @ them...
@moonysmind-blog
Ok, let's get this party started!
1. Do you prefer writing with black or blue pen?
Blue if I'm writing something, black if I'm outlining a paper. But overall, black pens are my go-to just because I have more of them. I seriously need to stock up on blue pens... Also, who uses a red pen for anything other than corrections just because that's the way they've been taught?
2. Would you prefer to live in the country or the city?
The Country. Or somewhere in the middle. I just feel like I'd be able to manage less people over more people and get to know them more personally. And, let's be honest, the country has gorgeous skies and sprawling fields and meadows. And it feels like you could take a deep breath and just absorb the atmosphere.
3. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?
Balance. It would help in everything because yours truly is a ball of clumsy fluff.
4. Do you drink your tea or coffee with sugar?
Heh, I drink hot chocolate with marshmallows so...
5. What was your favourite book as a child?
Anything I could get my hands on. I. Love. Books. My favorite series as a kindergartener was the Magic Tree House tho.
6. Do you prefer baths or showers?
Depends on my mood. Baths are for when I've got tons of time to just relax  and get my mind off things and showers remind me of rain and I love them too. I take showers more often but that doesn't mean anything.
7. If you could be a mythical creature, which would you choose?
This is a hard one cuz I love all things mystical and magical...
My immediate thought was a dragon but they get killed a lot in the myths and they're almost always stuck guarding something. Then I was like, ok then. What about a phoenix? So ya, I'd be a phoenix. Don't get me wrong, I'd totally go with all the mythical creatures and just cycle through them all, just if I had to choose just one it'd be a phoenix. Maybe, since I'd technically live forever, I could meet every single mythical creature ever. That'd be pwetty cool...
8. Do you prefer reading paper or electronic books?
Paper. It's what I've grown up with. I know, classy me. Also, there is nothing quite like the smell of a new book. Just sayin'.
9. What is your favourite item of clothing?
Punny t-shirts. All I'm gonna say.
10. Do you like your name? Would you ever change it?
Yes. If I had to change it, I'd love to be Reyna or Luna. Otherwise, I'm keeping it.
11. Who is a mentor to you?
Mostly myself. I taught myself to draw, anyhow. If not me, my mom or my newest art teacher or my neighbor.
12. Would you ever want to be famous? If so, what for?
Yes and no. I want to inspire people (whether with art or my quirky personality) but don't want the pressure that popularity and fame brings.
13. Are you a restless sleeper?
If being a night owl counts as restless, then yes. If being a deep sleeper when I am actually asleep doesn't, then no.
14. Do you consider yourself a romantic?
Considering I like guys who are chivalrous and funny... yes?
15. Which element best represents you?
Water. I'm chill until all my suppressed emotions rush out. You can't hold back the ocean forever. And you can't prevent the inevitable: Me being weird. Just ask my sister, she thinks I'm insane (which is probably accurate). Also, I may seem shallow on the surface, but I can actually be very deep sometimes. I could go on and on about my relationship with water, but that's a tale for another time.
16. Who do you want to be closer to?
Everyone. I love strengthening relationships with people. It makes the group stronger as a whole.
17. Do you miss someone at the moment?
Always.
18. Tell us about an early childhood memory.
I'd love too, but then storyteller Mistie will appear and this list will become infinitely longer. You'll have to ask me in my questions tab if you really want to hear one.
19. What is the strangest thing you have eaten?
Can't decide which is weirder: Watermelon with taco seasoning or raw onion with mustard... Both are equally delicious in the summertime at a BBQ.
20. What can you see outside your bedroom window?
A ladder, some rocks, and a dead vole. My old room had a much better view...
21. What are you most thankful for?
My Savior
22. Do you like spicy food?
Not particularly, no.
23. Have you ever met someone famous?
Alex Boyé. He went to a really unsanitary restaurant before he came to our house one time and puked all over our newly waxed floors. I feel bad for him. Everyone but him knew not to eat at that runofthemill A&W on the way up. He still put on a mini concert for us tho and that was pretty considerate of him, because he did it even though he can't have felt like doing it.
24. Do you keep a diary or journal?
Yup. I've got entries from back in kindergarten, amazingly. Granted, back then I wrote in pictures.
25. Do you prefer to use pen or pencil?
Pencil. I'm human, I make mistakes.
26. What is your star sign?
Well, I was a Pisces. But then they discovered that there are more stars in the sky, just like there are more fishes in the sea, and just bunched a bunch of Pisces together so now I'm Aquarius. I'm still a Pisces at heart tho.
27. Do you like your cereal crunchy or soggy?
Crunchy. Better texture. Soggy cereal is oatmeal in my mind and if you want oatmeal, you actually make oatmeal, not let your cereal sit out for who knows how long.
28. What would you want your legacy to be?
Legacy is a tricky thing. You've gotta know what people are gonna think of you down the line. I want mine to be simple: she wasn't afraid of who she was and what others would think of that. She was herself, and that's all that matters. I feel like that's the best legacy I could have for the future generations who will grow up in a world of trial and tribulation.
29. Do you like reading? What was the last thing you read?
ABSOLUTELY! I just finished Lodestar from Keeper of the Lost Cities. I shoulda read these books years ago but they're still fan-freaking-tastic!
30. How do you show someone you love them?
I guess my love language is acts of service or whatever. So I'd probably serve them and do tons of sweet things for them.
31. Do you like ice in your drinks?
No, it makes it all watery. Blegh.
32. What are you afraid of?
Lots of things. I just only realize when they come along and forget what they are afterwards. Sure, it may seem nice, but it makes the terror of coming into contact with them once more infinitely more terrorizing. But bugs are extremely horrifying. And so are arachnids.
33. What is your favourite scent?
Rain with freshly mowed grass and newly printed books at a campfire with Smores by the seashore. No one will ever be able to create this magnificent scent.
34. Do you address older people by their first or last name?
Depends on how close we are.
35. If money was not a factor, how would you live your life?
Does this mean that everything is free? Well I'm gonna stockpile food and stuff and then ship them off to 3rd world countries. I'd try to save as many lives as possible. Or I could go there in person to deliver said goods... Yup. I've decided that that's what I'm gonna do!
36. Do you prefer swimming in pools or in the ocean?
Pools have a veil of safety but the ocean is much more beautiful and alive. Also, the smell of chlorine is gross. And the taste. Blegh.
37. What would you do if you found $50 on the ground?
If it looks old and worn and dirty like it's been there a while, imma take it. Chances are whoever lost it has been long gone so I can actually take that $50 w/o feeling guilty. Otherwise I'd leave it there.
38. Have you ever seen a shooting star? Did you make a wish?
Heh, I used to wish on airplanes, satellites, and planets because I thought they were 'special stars'.
39. What is one thing you would want to teach your children?
To be kind, even when it is inconvenient. I don't know how many times someone has held the door open for me even when it seemed much more convenient for them to just go inside where it is warm and just let me open the stupid door on my own.
Maybe I'd teach them that even the smallest acts can have the biggest impact. One of the two. Probably both.
40. If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it?
Heh, you're talkin' to the girl who doesn't want her ears pierced. No way in heck am I getting a tattoo.
41. What can you hear right now?
Music and the sound of my thoughts.
42. Where do you feel the safest?
In a book.
43. What is one thing you want to overcome/conquer?
Darkness and fear.
44. If you could travel back to any era, which would you choose?
The one with Michelangelo, Leonardo, and all those other guys that the ninja turtles were named after.
45. What is your most used emoji?
It's not even an emoji. It is literally XD. Either that or (^^)
46. What is your favourite season? Why?
Torn between winter (snow), spring (life coming into bloom), and fall (all the pwetty colors).
47. How would you spend your ideal day?
On a window seat during a thunderstorm either sketching or reading a book all wrapped up in a blanket. Preferably with a cat. Sipping warm apple cider or hot chocolate with marshmallows.
48. Describe yourself using one word.
Me.
49. What do you regret the most?
Not realizing certain things sooner.
50. Invent your own word. What does it mean?
Crushyblushy (adj. n.)
The general mannerisms an individual enacts around people that they like (specifically in crush and/or love situations).
syn: awkward, quirky, shy, blushy
ant: confident, flirty, aplomb, able

 History
A successful legacy has been something that the Pearson family has been after for some time now, Zachary and Andrea are only the latest generation to feel its pressure. Before them was their father, Bruce. The son of an ambitious small business man who never got as far as he wanted to. Now, that’s not to say he was unsuccessful. He was quite successful, by anyone’s standards. He just never got as far as he dreamed, as far as he believed he deserved to go. So when he didn’t make it, who else would carry the expectation but his oldest son: Bruce Pearson. Luckily, Bruce had already inherited his father’s ambitious spirit. He was energetic, charismatic, and above all, eager to please. But like all children that hold their parents hopes and dreams on their shoulders, he eventually let his father down. You see, while he had the perfect attitude for it, he had no desire to be a businessman. Especially not one trapped in one town, in one experience for the rest of his life. He once described it to feel as though he were picking out his own casket.
Ida had always felt similar, except about everything. Every part of her early life felt as though she were organising everything for once she was gone. A feeling that was largely due to her family’s attitude towards death, which was always prepared for it. The person Ida is now doesn’t believe in curses, but when she was young it was almost impossible not to. With each birth that happened in her family, there was a death. Usually within a month, sometimes within a week or even the same day. And Ida as a child had felt especially cursed for the night she was born a true horror occurred. As her parents shared the news of the birth of another beautiful, healthy baby girl they found out their family in law had been involved in a home robbery gone wrong. Ida’s cousin first, suspected to have scared the burglars followed by his parents as they reacted to the loss. Three deaths for one life. While her parents tried to protect her from that mentality, the rest of the family was not so forgiving. She grew up constantly thinking that the universe would eventually have to balance itself out and take her too, that she was constantly out running death. It left her torn between trying to make the absolute most of everything she did and not trying at all. As she got older, she chose the former.
The two initially met during a very important part of their lives. Bruce had moved across country to study biology to prepare for his eventual medical school application and not business like his father had hoped. Left most of his life behind and started pursuing a life he believed was the one that would bring him the most joy. The one where he could contribute while not wanting to roll over and die for how bored he was. Ida was on exchange in the states, getting her first experience of the world without her family right behind her, breathing down her neck and reminding her of something that happened minutes before her birth. Deciding what she wanted to do and what she wanted to pursue. Her mind was set on psychology. Study of the mind so maybe she could figure out the intricacies of her own family’s mentality. But it was her meeting with Bruce that lead her to the path she eventually followed to became a lawyer and later a law professor. While during their first meeting the two did not form a romantic connection they were exactly what the other needed at the time. Someone to believe in them, encourage them, and push them to achieve all they ever wanted to. After a semester of becoming close friends, Ida returned to Norway and tragically they grew apart. There was no hard feelings, simply distance.
Their reunion years later was not planned but was certainly not unwelcome. While neither of them believed in fate, both would agree their reunion was extraordinarily lucky. Even if it was a dislocated shoulder on Ida’s part that ended up bringing them back together. Their relationship progressed quickly, catching up at bars turned to dinner dates at nice restaurants, leaving a few things at each others places for convenience turned to applying for apartments together with both their needs in mind. And finally, pregnancy quickly followed by engagement. It wasn’t until that point that the two really started making an effort in becoming closer with each of their families. Realising then that they didn’t want to do all of that alone. Ida desperately wanted her father to walk her down the isle and Bruce wanted to see her dance with her father at their wedding reception as much as he wanted to hear his mother say how proud she was of him while they danced at the same reception. There was some push back, first, neither of their families had really known how serious the relationship had been. They felt cheated and betrayed from being kept so distant and in the dark about their childrens’ lives. And then they found out Ida was already pregnant. Both families could easily be described as conservative or at least, traditional for seperate reasons. While Bruce had his doubts, his parents were rather devout Christians. They definitely believed that the child could not be born out of wedlock, but didn’t want their son to be married simply because he knocked “some girl” up. It took a fair amount of convincing to assure them that the news of the coming baby had only sped up the proposal he had already been planning. Ida’s family had their reservations for different reasons. Like the Pearsons, they too were traditional and believed that the baby could not be born out of wedlock, and were upset the engagement had happened before Bruce had asked the family for permission. But they also feared for the curse. While Ida had fled to America to escape the constant reminder that her life had taken three of her relatives, it quickly returned to discussion the moment it was revealed she was pregnant. Would the curse worsen because the baby would be a bastard? Not exactly the thing a pregnant woman wants to hear, but a question she heard whispered a lot whenever her family gathered.
But they prevailed. Through judgement and the stress of pregnancy, they made it to the other side and were wed. They had their first ‘legal’ wedding in America, in a church in Bruce’s hometown of Anderson, Georgia. A gorgeous affair that at least Ida’s parents and elder sister were able to make it to until they were able to have their second wedding in Trondheim, Norway, Ida’s hometown. Between the two weddings however, they had to wait for their child to be born. Mostly because Ida couldn’t travel too far, especially not internationally being almost full term. Partially because the closer the baby’s due date came, the more she feared the curse. Would her family blame her beautiful baby for another loss like they had her? Or would his birth finally take her life, had she invited death to come and collect her after so many years and leave her son without a mother? One thing she hadn’t considered, was that her son’s birth would take the life of someone she loved so dearly. The same day Zachary was born, Ida’s own father passed on from cardiac arrest. While Zachary was welcomed so warmly by the American family, he did not receive such love when they made it to Trondheim a few months later. Of course the family was excited for the new baby, they were always excited for a new baby, and her mother was delighted to be a grandmother. They were just in mourning, they couldn’t celebrate while in mourning. Something that took Zachary many years to understand was that while his American family didn’t even know of the curse, to his Norwegian family he was a reminder of tragedy. And he lived too far away, saw them too little to ever truly become anything else to them.
After all the high expectations and pressure Bruce and Ida had received from their own parents throughout their lives you might expect they wouldn’t put the same pressure on their own children. That they might have learned from their parents and not want their children to experience what they did, but unfortunately for Zachary, and later Andrea, this was not the case. They did believe they had learned from their parents, that they now knew exactly what kind of life their children needed to lead in order to be successful and start a legacy that wasn’t family curses and small businesses. While he was still quite young, Zachary was allowed to participate in the extra curricular he wanted, it wasn’t until much later that it was claimed that most of them were a distraction from his studies. While he was pushed into it, he did always enjoy science and math and what his parents considered the “useful” subjects at school. He loved science fair time because it usually meant he got to mess around, talk very loudly about something his classmates likely didn’t know, and if he picked the right thing, he could make something explode. But nothing compared to being able to run around a court or field, be a part of a team, and have people cheering you on. Little league basketball practice and games were his favourite times of the week and he always came back from them with flushed cheeks, wobbly knees, and giant smile.
However, it didn’t last. While people with exceptional talent and incredible dedication and a large amount of luck could make it as a star athlete, Zach’s parents didn’t think it was reasonable to dream for something that only might happen even if he did everything right. They had a vision of something far, far more reliable for their son. A reliable, and impressive career was what they had in mind. Something like medicine, law, or science. Something that would certainly add to their legacy with hard work and next to no luck necessary. It wasn’t that they told young Zach that he had to give up basketball and focus on his studies, no they would never. They simply said that basketball was a distraction, that his academics were what would take him far. And with that he started to develop a fear that if he got distracted, he would fail, let his parents down. He couldn’t just aim high, he had to reach his dreams too. Or, at the very least, his ‘realistic’ dreams.
By the time Ida was pregnant with her second child, Zachary was already well on his way to being everything her and Bruce had dreamed of for their children and their legacy. That, thankfully for Andrea, would lift some of the expectation off of her. While she was expected to continue the legacy they were trying to build, if she didn’t, at least Zach was already doing it. Learning from their ‘mistake’ with their eldest child, Drea was only encouraged to take up extra curricular as hobbies. Hobbies that had designated times and either didn’t distract from her studies or encouraged them. As much as they tried to push her towards the latter, Drea seemed to stick more with the former and on top of that did everything she could to let hobby time bleed out and take on more of her life. She was always pushing to work longer on an art project, or run a few more laps, anything that would get her away from study groups and mathletics and debate teams. As she started to get older, she realised it was easier to just pretend she was interested in academics and keep her hobbies more secret from her parents. Put on the show they wanted to see. And thus, the legacy of hiding things from their parents continued. Not exactly the successful legacy the Pearsons had in mind, but they were all very, very good at it.
Now don’t forget the curse, because it reared its ugly head for Andrea’s birth too. The Norwegian side of the family was worried again, especially after Zachary’s birth seemed to have robbed them of a beloved father, uncle, and grandfather. And Ida was scared too, she desperately wanted another child but she was taunted by the idea that it would steal another family member. But once again she persevered with the help from her husband and this time, her son too. And when Andrea was born, Ida thought that the curse might have finally ended. And so did her family. It was a cautious joy, and rightfully so because it didn’t last very long. Exactly one month after Andrea’s birth, Bruce’s mother passed away. While the time between birth and death, and the fact that it was a member of Bruce’s family and not Ida’s made it hard to connect it to the curse, the fact that Andrea grew up to be so similar to her grandmother did not go unnoticed. Rebellious spirit paired with artistic flair. Almost as though her grandmother’s spirit had passed on to her. But unlike Zach, Andrea had the opportunity to at least try and fight that association in the minds of her and her grandmother’s loved ones. While they didn’t live very close, Connecticut was closer to Georgia than Trondheim and that was enough. The person who took the longest to forget, was Bruce. He saw so much of his mother in his little girl, which only made him want her to succeed even more, push her even harder for success to honour the memory of his mother.
Boarding school was never something that had been envisioned by Bruce and Ida. Private school certainly, they wanted to give their children the best chance they possibly could and they’d decided that public school was too focused on sports and arts, not the academic vision they held. Of course, Zachary being Andrea’s elder by almost ten years, was the first to reach high school. Several schools were thrown around but they eventually landed on an all boys catholic boarding school for Zachary. Catholic hadn’t been their first choice but religious education was hard to avoid not only within New England but also within private education. But it made their elders (what remained of them) happy, and it was a good school so off Zachary went. To get his education and start to gain some independence. And because he graduated as valedictorian and made it into Yale with dreams of med school, his parents considered it a job well done and were already picking out boarding schools for Andrea while she was still a few years off high school at all. But truth was, he had hated it. Being so surrounded by school and people he didn’t like, and then going home to relax and find his parents only ever wanted to talk about school too? It was suffocating. But it was easier to suck it up, and accept that it was so he would have the best possible chance to succeed and live up to his parents expectations, than it was to try and tell anyone how he felt, much less his parents. So that’s what he did. What he didn’t consider, was that his little sister would have to go to boarding school too, given his success.
coming eventually: a seperate post specifically detailing drea’s relationships with members of her family bc thats a whole other 10 paragraphs lmao

letters to the signs as i know them right now
aries: hey, i miss you. snap me sometime? I miss your smile. i miss laughing with you. i miss those summer nights where we turned night into day. you were my best friend and I’m not entirely sure what happened. maybe someday we’ll start again.
taurus: you were my go to. the one i could trust and knew would be there for me. im really sad you broke that. i miss you, or i miss who i thought you were. maybe you’re very different than what i thought. hopefully sometime you would be willing to talk it out. i know you’re stubborn and wont apologize. so ill do it instead. i love you. im sorry.
gemini: well i still love you, you know. hopefully you do. i repeated it to you the last few times we spoke. i miss laying in my backyard and looking at the stars with you. i miss getting popsicles and walking downtown with you. i miss your hands. but i heard someone else is holding them now. i miss your hair. i also that heard you cut it all off. i hope one day ill get to see you again. maybe you’ll come back here to visit. or ill stop by ur home. you’re always in my heart. sometimes, you even sneak your way into my dreams.
cancer: you’re the only one who doesn’t hate me, i think. even though you have good reason to. when you saw me standing alone today, you were the only one to come say hi. i appreciated that more than anything. thank you. thank you, for being kind. thank you for taking care of my friend.
leo: hey, im constantly torn between talking to you or not. I’ve learned my lesson not to play with fire. but the sun soaks up water and maybe thats why im constantly drawn to you. you were my only friend for most of high school and i appreciate that. maybe its best if we keep a distance. and just remember the good times.
virgo: hi. i miss you the most, probably. its your third year away from home and i miss your face like hell. i wish you didn’t have to leave at such an early age. i wish we got to spend our last teenage years together. thanks for making me always feel okay with myself. even if no one else is okay with me. and making me feel normal. i love u to the moon and back. and then again, a couple more times.
libra: im sorry. im really sorry. there isn’t any use apologizing or explaining myself because i was in the wrong. but sometimes, i wish i could tell you i wasn’t the only one. and your friend who tells you things about me that aren’t all true, also did things to you. but i wont tell you that. i dont want to be like her. but i dont think you would believe me even if i did. i do care about you. you’re one of my only friends. i hope i can repaire that.
scorpio: i dont get to talk to you much. but the day i sat with your friends and they all left, you stayed. i really appreciate that. more than you know. it warmed my heart. and that was the first time i felt something like that.
sagittarius: hi u. you’re like my brother. i feel like i can talk to you. and you wont judge me. i like hanging out with you. you’re about the only guy who will talk to me and listens to me, not what everyone else says about me. you’re real. when you let me see that part of you its wonderful. i wish it would come out more.
capricorn: i dont know what you think of me right now. i really care about you. i hope being the friend that i have you can see that. your smile is breathtaking. i know he’s taking care of you. thats all i ever hope for. i love you.
aquarius: im sorry i put so much pressure on you. thank you for being there while i figure out my situation. im sorry if i seem clingy. i would hug u all the time if i could. but i know ur aquarian independence is important. i admire that a lot, actually. i love you so much. thank you for always trusting me. you are the kind of friend everyone wants.
pisces: hi. i wrote you another letter. i wont give that one to you though. it hurt me when you told everyone about the one i wrote you. i poured my heart into 6 pages. it took me an hour to put together. everything put together in a system that would translate as genuine. i hope when you’re older, you’ll learn something like that stays in your heart, and not your mouth. i looked over at you today. you were already looking at me. i don't know what to think about that. i hope we can be friends again, at some point.
