Recently my interests were useful to someone. A relative who works as an exterminator called me because there was a snake someone wanted him to get rid of and he wanted to make sure it wasn't venomous before he grabbed it to take and release elsewhere. I looked at the picture and noticed it was a local type of ratsnake. I let him know it was not venomous or even remotely dangerous. He caught it, brought it by for me to see and let it go back in the wild. Was a cute noodle.
