Such a typically popular and unexciting show to post about but I kind of love how bobs burgers has it Very Explicitly Stated that

a) Louise is a Daddy's Girl

but at the same time it's proven over and over again that

b) her and Linda have sooooo much in common. I'm watching the ep where they have a thunder dome in the freezer (S5E3) for ref but it's just like obvious all over the series.

Yes Louise has disdain for the traditionally feminine things her mom wants her to do, and especially a rightful anger against the disregard her mom shows for her established boundaries. But at the end of the day Louise really gets her chaotic and rule-breaking nature from Linda, not Bob, (remember how Bob has been a workaholic since childhood but Linda threw rocks at cars and got drunk underage and climbed off bridges with her sister?) And it's just like, idk, kind of cute to me! Like omg yesssss show me a flawed but relatable and not unsalvageable parent-child dynamic LFGGGG!!!!!!
