#i feel like they have much more up their sleeves

Note
Hi! I really adore your writing. You have really caught each guys essences.
If your requests are open, I was thinking of something like how each guy would carry you and in what type of scenario. I thought Zayne would do bridal style and Sylus over the shoulder, but if you see it differently, feel free to do it as you see fit 😊
How they would carry you (LaDS)
Note: This was such a cute request!! I had fun writing it, though I definitely rewrote Rafayel's like three times cause I couldn't make up my mind on the scenario. I went with a different idea for Zayne, but I think you'll like it ;)
I really hope you enjoy this! And I hope I wrote them all well. Thank you for the request.
Also, I'm incredibly sleep-deprived, so I apologize for any mistakes/inconsistencies.

Sylus *over the shoulder*
“My feet hurt,” you grumble.
“Perhaps you shouldn’t have worn such cheap shoes,” Sylus hums, voice bordering on between teasing and mocking.
You shoot the man a glare. He gives you a smug smile in return, arms crossing over his chest.
Of course he’s right. But you can’t admit that, not after you made such a fuss about ignoring his warning before the night began. You had been stubborn, maybe a little too stubborn. The restaurant you were going to was just so nice, how could you not wear heels? You wanted to look nice for your date, and they paired so well with your dark cocktail dress. Of course you’d forgotten about how much they hate your feet.
Every step feels like a bunch of nails digging into your feet. Why did you park so far away? Oh right, because you thought the night was so nice, you wanted to take a little walk before dinner…Not your best idea in retrospect.
Another step makes you wince.
Sylus suddenly stops. This forces you to pause as well, your arm curled around his elbow as you walk. You glance at him questioningly, trying to hide the pain, not wanting to bother him further by complaining. Or endure more of his teasing.
But his gaze burns over you intensely. You shift a little, heat climbing up your cheeks, but putting your weight on your other foot only makes that prickling pain shoot up your leg, and you can’t stop your lips from twisting into a light grimace.
For a brief moment, Sylus’ face softens. He lets out a sigh before removing his jacket. Your brow furrows as he slips it around your waist, the warmth of the fabric covering your bare legs.
“Sylus?”
“I’m not so cruel as to make a woman suffer, kitten,” he hums, securing the coat by tying the sleeves. He then leans up to your face, lips quirking up into a smirk. “Especially when she got all dolled up and pretty just for me.”
Before you can blush even darker, you’re suddenly being thrown over his broad shoulder. You let out an undignified squeak, instinctively squirming to try and get out of his grip. You kick your legs, hands scrambling against his back.
“Sylus!”
“Careful, kitten, otherwise I might drop you,” Sylus warns, voice dancing with amusement. His hand slips below the hem of his jacket to curl over the back of your thighs, locking them to his chest. You freeze, heart fluttering wildly.
What a brute.
Though, there’s really nothing you can do to escape this man. Not that you really want to.
“Sylus, seriously, this isn’t funny,” you still whine, trying to keep face.
“Would you rather walk barefoot?”
Your nose scrunches at the thought. While you are in a nicer part of the city, it still sounds gross. You guess this is the lesser of two evils. Letting out a defeated sigh, you prop your elbows against his back to try to get comfortable. Also trying to ignore how defined his muscles feel against you.
Sylus hums approvingly, “There you go, kitten. Just relax.”
His hand tenderly squeezes your thigh and you’re actually thankful he can’t see just how red your face is. Probably as red as the wine you had with dinner.
It’s definitely embarrassing. Especially when you pass by a few people, catching their odd stares. But it’s hard to care when Sylus starts massaging your legs, his touch overwhelmingly gentle in contrast to his previous actions. His thumb presses firm circles into your ankle, drawing a breathy sigh from you.
“Feel better, sweetie?” He murmurs, and you can feel his voice rumble through your body.
“Definitely helps,” you breathe, “Though you could have just carried me in a more comfortable way, Sy.”
“Now, where’s the fun in that?”
“This isn’t fun for me,” you grumble petulantly.
Sylus shifts, suddenly putting you down. You blink in surprise when you find yourself sitting on the hood of a familiar car, your lover leaning over you. His fingers trace your leg, grazing up your arm, until he can cup your cheek, bringing your faces so close that you can feel the warmth of his breath against your lips.
“And how can I make it up to you, my dear?” He purrs lowly, lips grazing yours teasingly.
“Well-” Letting out a shaky breath, you reach up and slip your arms around his neck. A blush still coats your cheeks, but you give him your best innocent look, pouting your lips as you mess with the silver strands at the nape of his neck. “I think a full massage at home might make up for the discomfort. The last one you gave me was pretty nice.”
Sylus quirks a brow in amusement, “Is that all?”
“Nope. I also want you to watch a sappy romcom with me. Then I’ll forgive your brutish ways.”
That breaks the intense air between you. Sylus chuckles, the sound deep and fond, making you smile. He leans down to press a chaste kiss to your lips.
“I accept your terms, kitten.”
“Good. Now chop chop, mister! Let’s get home!”

Zayne *koala style*
“Darling.”
Your eyes flicker open, eyelids heavy. Letting out a sleepy hum, you drag your blurry gaze to meet a pair of warm, hazel eyes. Zayne kneels beside the car, thumb brushing tenderly over your cheek to keep you from falling back asleep. You lean into his touch with a content sound, making him smile.
“We’ve arrived home,” he murmurs, voice quiet, “Would you like me to carry you inside?”
You nod, head still fuzzy with sleep. All you can really focus on is that you don’t want his touch to go away. It feels so nice.
“Alright. Can you wrap your arms around my neck for me, darling?”
You reach out blearily, your fingers blindly finding their way into the soft strands of hair at his nape. Zayne carefully turns you until your legs dangle out of the car, giving him a better angle to slip an arm under you. He picks you up like you weigh nothing, drawing you flush against his chest.
You instinctively wrap your legs around his waist, letting out another happy hum as he readjusts you so you can tuck your face into his neck. One of his hands stays secured under you, the other sliding up to hold the back of your neck tenderly.
It’s almost impossible to not fall back asleep like this. Surrounded by his warmth, his fingers massaging your neck so lovingly, the gentle sway of his body as he walks. Your eyes flicker closed again as you nuzzle deeper into your lover.
You love when Zayne holds you like this. Not that bridal style isn’t nice, but this is just so much closer, so much easier for you to wrap yourself around him. Plus you like the feeling of his fingers gripping your thighs, reminding you of just how strong the doctor is. It just makes you feel…safe.
“Wish you’d carry me like this more,” you mumble thoughtlessly into his neck.
“Is that so?” Zayne hums, a small smile curling his lips.
“Mhm.”
You press a sluggish kiss to his collarbone to show just how much you like it. Zayne’s steps falter imperceptibly. But you notice, a bubbly giggle escaping you.
“Don’t trip, Doctor Zayne,” you tease sleepily.
He pinches your thigh in warning. “Perhaps a certain hunter shouldn’t be so distracting.”
You squeak, pulling yourself further up by his shoulders. Zayne chuckles, palm smoothing over the spot, though he didn’t actually pinch you that hard. Still. You draw back a little to pout at him.
“So mean, Doctor Zayne. What if I bruise?”
“My apologies, darling,” he murmurs, not at all apologetic. You hold your pout, only weakening when he tilts his face up to brush your noses together. “I’ll be sure to treat it once we get inside. A kiss should do, hm?”
God, he’s so perfect. You’re not sure your heart can take it. The warmth behind his eyes, the small, rare show of affection. It leaves a lingering heat under your skin that turns your cheeks rosy pink, and you duck your face back into his shoulder to hide your blush.
“So, so mean,” you grumble.
A fond smile graces Zayne’s lips. If he’s being honest, he likes carrying you like this. He likes how you feel in his arms, your weight, your warmth, the rise and fall of your chest against his. It’s not often you let him take care of you without complaint, so he takes full advantage of when you do. It helps calm whatever deep-seated need he has to look after you.
The fact that you’re so easy to fluster is a mere bonus.
You settle back into a comfortable silence, barely paying attention as Zayne navigates through your apartment complex. You only notice when he shifts his arm further under you so he can fish his keys from his back pocket and unlock your shared apartment.
He doesn’t bother to turn on any lights as he carries you through your home, straight to your room. You grumble as he bends down to set you on the edge of the bed, your fingers tightening around his neck when he starts to draw back.
“Don’t go,” you plead softly.
“Wouldn’t you rather be in more comfortable clothes, sweetheart?”
“‘m already comfy,” you assure him, leaning against his chest, “Just take your pants off and cuddle with me.”
“What a bold patient I have,” he teases, though his voice dips into a low timber that makes you shiver.
“Get your mind out of the gutter, doctor,” you whisper, a little bashful, cheeks going warm again. “Just don’t want you to stop holding me.”
Zayne softens. His fingers trace along your heated cheek, drawing you back just enough so he can lean down and capture your lips in a lingering kiss. You press into him immediately, a delighted sigh passing your lips when he settles onto the bed beside you. When the kiss ends, you tuck yourself back into his side, content once again now that you get your way. A drawn-out yawn escapes you, and Zayne curls his arms around your waist, guiding you so your head can rest against his chest.
“Sleep now, I won’t go anywhere,” he promises softly into your hair.
“Mmm, love you, Zayne.”
“I love you too, my snowflake.

Rafayel *bridal style*
“Oh, “ you chirp, cool air washing over you as you step out of the venue, “it’s raining.”
The two of you were attending the opening night of Rafayel’s new exhibit. You’re surprised you didn’t even hear the rain, considering the streets look about flooded already. Puddles collect along the sidewalk, a small river running along the edge of the road. Paired with the rapidly setting sun, it leaves a chill in the air that makes you shiver slightly.
“I like it,” Rafayel hums and drapes an arm around your shoulders, drawing you into his side. You glance at him, biting back a smile when he playfully avoids your gaze, as if trying to keep your warm might hurt his “cool” factor. “The smell of the ocean is stronger when it rains, don’t you think? And the puddles look like tide pools.”
“They certainly do,” you giggle, “though neither of us are really prepared for the rain. Should we call a cab? I’d hate to ruin these shoes since you just got them for me.”
You look down at the kitten heels you’d worn for the event. They’re so cute, a soft baby blue color, decorated with little pearls. You remember pointing them out to Rafayel on one of your walks down the pier. They were just so pretty, and reminded you so much of him in a way, but the price was out of your range. Not that it deterred Rafayel, of course, who secretly went back the next day to get them for you.
A pair of shoes really shouldn’t mean that much to you, but every gift from Rafayel feels special. You can’t bear the thought of messing them up.
“Hmm, I think I have an easy solution.”
You let out a squeak when Rafayel suddenly ducks and sweeps you up into his arms, bridal style. You instinctively wrap your arms around his neck, clinging to him for dear life at the sudden loss of balance. The sound of Rafayel’s laughter rings in the air, light and full of mirth, as he dashes into the rain with you.
“Rafayel!” You squawk and break into your own fit of laughter despite the icy cold rain immediately drenching your clothes. “Rafayel! Put me down!!”
“I’m already carrying you, putting you down would just be more work,” he teases, that infuriatingly charming smile pulling at his lips. “Now you don’t have to worry about the puddles, at least.”
“But we’re still getting soaked!” You squeal, trying to hide away from the rain by tucking your face into his neck. “Why didn’t we just call a cab?”
“A little rain won’t hurt us, yeah?”
“Says the merman. It’s freezing.”
Rafayel chuckles, the sound close to your ear. Warmth blooms across your cheeks when he presses a kiss to your temple, the touch lingering and soft with adoration, making everything slow down for just a moment.
“Then hold me tight.” he whispers, voice dipping to a low rumble that has your heart racing, “Take my warmth. It’s yours, my beloved bride.”
Any remaining complaints get lost somewhere in your throat. The heat under your skin rivals the cold. A dark blush coats your cheeks, and you try to bury yourself against his chest. You can’t hide from him though, your neck just as rosy, and you can practically feel Rafayel beaming with pride.
Stupid fish.
But he is warm.
You let out a wavering sigh, pressing the cold tip of your nose into the warm crook of his neck. Rafayel shivers, but his hold around you only tightens, as if he wants to envelop you in the heat of his body. It’s almost like being held by one of those heat up stuffies. It’s so comfortable, you can’t help but melt into him, fondness for the merman curling deep inside your bones.
“Do you always run this warm?” You murmur and rest your cheek against his shoulder so you can look at his face.
“Not always,” he hums. A stray drop of rain drips down his jaw and you reach to brush it away. Rafayel’s voice shakes almost imperceptibly at the touch, the tips of his ears going red, “For the most part, Lumerians endure harsh, cold temperatures, so we actually run colder than you humans.”
“Then why are you so warm?” You ask curiously.
His blush only spreads, until his cheeks match yours. The artist glances away, almost looking embarrassed to admit, “My fire evol is useful for more than just fighting wanderers, you know.”
Ah. So he can warm himself up with his evol. And he’s doing it to keep you warm.
The revelation fills your chest with a giddy kind of love. Like, a fuzzy, dizzy kind of love. You bite back the urge to keep teasing him, to see just how red he can get. God, how can you love this man so much? Every new thing you learn about him, every surprise he somehow pulls out of his sleeve, leaves you slipping further into the ocean of affection you’re already drowning in. The rain is nothing in comparison.
“I guess you’re my knight in shining armor, then,” you sigh wistfully, “Against the wanderers and the cold weather.”
“That’s right.” Rafayel puffs out his chest a little, almost like a preening bird. A giggle escapes your lips, and he gives you one of those heart-stopping smiles. “You should really thank your knight in shining armor, cutie. Otherwise I might not feel so inclined to swoop in to save you next time.”
“Well, thank you, Rafayel.” In the blink of an eye, you reach up and draw his face down to yours, capturing his lips in a chaste, yet searing kiss. The artist jumps back, eyes wide as he stares down at your mischievous grin. “Even though we could have just taken a cab and avoided all of this.”
His shock quickly turns into a pout.
“You’re no fun, cutie.”

Xavier *piggyback style*
“Really, I’m fine, Xav-”
You wince as Xavier gently flexes your foot, hot pain prickling up your leg. The hunter gives you a rather disapproving look.
“You do not have to lie to me,” he sighs and lowers your foot back down, “I will not think less of you for being injured.”
Heat creeps up your neck, and you have to tear your eyes away from his soft, unassuming gaze. It really wasn’t that bad. While fighting a wanderer, you had dodged an attack too quickly, somehow, twisting your ankle in the process. You couldn’t just stop fighting though, so you had grit your teeth through the pain until you finished the wanderer off, and then collapsed on a nearby rock. That’s when Xavier had rushed over to you, asking what was wrong.
You attribute your embarrassment to the stubborn bit of pride you carry as a hunter, so used to taking care of yourself that you don’t often let others do it for you.
“I’m really okay, it’s probably just a sprain,” you grumble, “I’ll ice it when I get home.”
“And how exactly do you plan to get home?”
Your nose crinkles. Right. Glancing back at Xavier, you find him looking at you with a small, rather amused smile, eyes sparkling with mirth. The little punk. He really can be mischievous when he wants to, huh?
But you do not have an answer to his question. So you just shrug, letting out a heavy sigh. You’ll just have to rely on him this time it seems.
“Would you like me to carry you?”
Immediately, your blush spreads up your neck, painting your cheeks rosy and warm. Eyes wide, you look at him incredulously.
“Xavier, that’s- I don’t- What?”
“I can carry you.” The hunter tilts his head, much like an adorable puppy. Your heart flutters at the sight. How are you supposed to resist that?
“I mean,” you hesitate, scratching the back of your neck, “if you think that’s the best solution…”
“It’s the simplest one,” Xavier hums, quickly standing up, pulling you carefully to your feet as well.
He turns around, ducking a little so you can get on his back. You hesitate again, though.
“Are you sure?” You ask, voice wavering.
“Positive.” Xavier looks at you over his shoulder. That gentle smile curls his lips again. “Who wouldn’t want to carry a pretty girl on their back?”
God, you hate him sometimes. Shaking your head, you gingerly step closer. You curl your arms tentatively around his shoulders, careful to avoid his neck so you don’t choke him. Then you jump. Xavier catches you with ease, fingers slipping under your thighs to hold you as he stands up straight again. It only takes a moment for him to find his balance as you get comfortable, your chin tucked over his shoulder.
He hardly seems affected by your weight. Like he’s carrying a light backpack. It eases your consciousness a little.
“I always forget just how strong you are,” you mumble.
Xavier holds back a shiver at the way your breath warms his ear. His fingers tighten around your thighs though, thumbs massaging circles into your skin. You hum softly, facing tucking into the collar of his uniform. This is nicer than you thought it’d be.
“You could take a nap until we reach our destination if you’d like.”
“No,” you sigh, though you do feel suddenly exhausted, “That wouldn’t be fair. I want to keep you company.”
“Mm, okay. Then what should we talk about?” Xavier peeks at you, amusement curling in his chest at the thoughtful pout you give.
“How about…what we’ll get for dinner tonight? We did complete the mission, afterall, we deserve a treat.”
A low chuckle escapes the hunter. Tilting his head, he presses a chaste kiss to your cheek.
“Whatever you’d like, my star,” he hums, fondness warming his usually calm voice, “Is there something you have in mind?”
“That new diner opened down the block from us, we could try that!” You suggest, excitement lighting up your features, like a kid in front of a christmas tree. You look at him, smile brighter than any star he could compare you to. “What do you think?”
How could he ever resist you?
“Mmm, sounds delicious.”
“Perfect! We’ll go there then!”
You spend the rest of the walk back to the transit station talking about what dishes you might order, what movie to watch as you eat. Anything and everything. Neither of you notice the odd looks you get, too comfortable to care.
You all but forget about the pain in your ankle. Why focus on that when you can focus on the absolutely charming man willing to carry you all this way?
---
Can you tell which characters I main based on this? Just curious.

cw. a lil age gap, but everyone is well over 18 (Gojo and Reader are ~40, Yuta is ~30)
Imagine the way ex-husband Gojo's eye twitches seeing how Yuta Okkotsu treats you.
You and Yuta had only seen each other in passing over the years. In fact, you never even officially met until he was several years out of school on the account of your innate technique causing Rika to go haywire. So while there was always a possibility of you seeing someone after the divorce, Satoru would never in his wildest dreams have guessed who it'd be. He'd heard through the grapevine that you only started seeing more of each other last year.
Satoru has to see you at the biweekly joint staff meetings between the Tokyo and Kyoto schools, made especially awkward after not one, but two (2) post-divorce make outs. The last time he kissed you while you were fighting, you shoved him away and booted him out of the house using your technique. Granted, you kissed him back, but you're not exactly on great terms right now.
So, it's bad enough that he has to see you as much as he does. Even worse is now that everything's out in the open, he has to watch you fawn over someone that's not him.
"You're so sweet!" you cry when Yuta surprises you during your lunch break with takeout from your favorite restaurant. "Thank you so much, but you really didn't have to do all this for me."
Yuta places a hand on the small of your back and guides you towards the door to the courtyard. Adjusting the picnic blanket slung over his shoulder, he asks, "Why not?"
"It's so much effort," you reply.
"For you? Nothing feels like much effort," Yuta says with a cheeky grin.
Satoru just catches a glimpse of you covering your face with your hand - as you always do when you blush - and then the two of you are out the door. It takes all his effort not to gag at how cheesy that was. Never mind how genuine Yuta looked about it.
Of course Satoru had taken you out for lunch while you were together. All kinds of lunches. Mom and pop shops, food stands, upscale restaurants, you'd done it all. Your new suitor wasn't doing anything for you that he hadn't done.
Suitor. What was this, the 1800's?
Suguru appears at his side while he stares after you.
"Was that Yuta?" he asks. "I'm impressed. He's supposed to be at a week-long training in Ibaraki."
Ibaraki? The prefecture that's over two hours away? He came all this way to have lunch with you?
Alright, Satoru never did that. Not that he wouldn't have! He totally would've if he'd, you know, thought of it.
Suguru seems oblivious to the emotional bomb he just dropped on his best friend. "I'm starving. Let's hurry up and go eat. I'm good with anything except KFC," he complains.
It takes a couple tries to get his attention, but Satoru eventually pulls himself out of his thoughts. He comforts himself with the notion that Yuta would be gone by the time he returned.
Tumblr media
Imagine that while Yuta himself may be absent, his presence damn near haunts ex-husband Gojo to death.
You're already back in the meeting room by the time he and Suguru return from lunch, only you now have a full water bottle (he noticed you pout when you drank the last of it earlier), a sleeve of oreos sticking out of your bag, and a cute travel mug full of some hot drink that you definitely didn't have before.
If Satoru wasn't so preoccupied with insisting to himself that, 'I totally did things like that back in the day!' and provided his ex-wife wasn't the woman in question, he'd be thinking, 'Yuta Okkotsu, I was unfamiliar with your game.'
Even more frustrating is how energetic you look. You have your notes out and are nibbling on an oreo, kicking your feet back and forth as if there's not another two and a half hours left of this meeting.
It's not that Satoru doesn't want you to be happy. Quite the opposite, actually, since he'd gladly give his life if he thought he could guarantee your eternal joy and safety. He's just not sure what Yuta has that he didn't. Or doesn't.
"What does she see in him?" Satoru murmurs to himself later, when a bunch of the staff members go out for drinks. You're at the bar laughing with Yuki and Shoko.
He regrets speaking out loud when Sukuna snorts from behind him.
"How much time do we have?" your coworker says with amusement. He slides into the booth, nursing his sake bomb with ice. It's a travesty of a drink, if you ask Satoru, but to each his own.
"Great, it's my least favorite person," Satoru gripes.
Sukuna seems to take great pleasure in Satoru's misery. "I think Okkotsu's earned himself that title."
Now, Satoru hates the taste of alcohol nor is it ever a good idea for someone constantly using a cursed technique to get drunk, but he can't bring himself to care at the moment.
He snatches the drink from Sukuna's hand and downs the whole thing in one go.
Tumblr media
Imagine how baffled ex-husband Gojo is when his son delivers a cursed artifact to him instead of you.
"Where's your mom?" he asks.
Sen hands over the small box covered in talismans while his best friend, Nao, lingers by the office door. Rolling his eyes, he says, "We had a mission in the area, so Sukuna-sensei had us deliver this."
"Not what I asked you, kid," Satoru replies, leaning back in his chair. He gestures for the boys to have a seat, but neither move.
Nao, who has a tendency to stir the pot if he thinks it'll be funny, pipes up, "She's on vacation for a week."
Since when did you take vacations? And why hadn't he heard of this?
"What's she doing for a whole week?" he asks.
Nao replies. "Okkotsu finished his training and whisked her away to some onsen in Obanazawa."
Sen smirks. "That snowy place that looks like it's from Spirited Away? How romantic."
"Super romantic." Stir, stir, stir, Nao Zen'in.
Sen was not a fan of anyone trying to get close to his mom. He'd seen how the divorce hurt you, but so far, Yuta worshipped the ground you walked on, so Sen was at least willing to not be too hostile towards him if it meant antagonizing his father.
Sen and his friend quickly say their goodbyes and head out to do whatever it is high school boys do. Once they're gone, Satoru pulls out his phone and searches 'onsen obanazawa.' The results show Ginzan Onsen, a place with traditional Japanese architecture with a beautiful snowy landscape. But according to the reviews, though a wonderful and charming place, it wasn't from the best onsen in Japan. He wants to scoff at the fact that his supposed 'replacement' chose anything but the best for you, but then he sees where Obanazawa is, which is in Yamagata prefecture.
Where you grew up. Where you and Satoru met.
How had it never occurred to him to bring you back there?
When he mopes on Suguru's couch later that evening, he tells his best friend the whole story. Suguru's delicate features are twisted into a grimace the whole way through.
"Why are you making such an ugly face?" Satoru asks miserably.
"I've never been ugly a moment of my life, Satoru."
"You know what I mean."
Suguru sighs and clicks his tongue. "They're not official?"
"So she keeps saying."
Though reluctant to kick his friend while he's down, Suguru decides that Satoru needs to know so he can mentally prepare himself.
"He's taking her on a romantic trip to a beautiful resort in her home prefecture. They may not be official now, but after a trip like that, there's no way she's coming back without a label. Hell, if they were official, she'd most likely be coming back with a ring."
Hearing that, Satoru contemplates finding a nice spot in the cursed artifact archive and falling into a coma for at least the next thousand years.

I do, I do, I do | Spencer Reid x Reader
In which spencer proposes to you.
Absolutely tooth rotting fluff
Contents: Head over heels spence, pet names (honey, angel, darling...)
Warning: none!
a/n: title is a reference to "helpless" from Hamilton & there's a scene inspired by "the tortured poets department" (can u tell I love music?). This is my favorite fic I have ever written.
---
You and Spencer have been dating for 5 years now and, since last year, the team had begun asking the two of you - especially Reid - when were you guys going to “tie the knot”. You and Spencer had talked about it, both agreeing that you both did want to get married, but we’re not in a rush.
Now, you’re at Spencer's house getting ready for one of Rossi's famous dinners. When you look through the mirror, you see Spencer leaning against the door, watching you getting ready while he cuffs the sleeves of his black button-up shirt.
“You’re looking divine angel”
“Thank you honey” You say, turning to him “By the way, this is your last chance to kiss me, unless you also want to wear some red lipstick to Rossi’s”
He giggles, giving you a quick peck on the lips before leaving the bathroom to let you finish getting ready.
Later that night, you, Spencer and the rest of the team are all sitting at the dining table, talking and laughing. This is one of those few, but extremely special moments in which you guys forget all the horrors that happen at work and just are happy together.
You’re in an extremely exciting talk with Garcia about the latest fashion news, a topic that both of you really loved when you feel Spencer playing with your hands, something he usually did, so you did not pay much attention to it. But, at a point you felt him place the small ring he sometimes wore on your finger, specifically your left ring finger, the one you put wedding rings on. When you looked down at it, your heart almost stopped.
He leaned closer to whisper in your ear “It looks perfect on you” and then took it off, continuing to talk to Morgan about… Something. If you were to be honest, after that, you spaced out for a couple seconds, your heartbeat seemed so loud that it replaced all the other sounds around you.
2 months later, you’re remembering this moment as you get ready for a very suspicious dinner date with Spencer. Since what happened on Rossi's get together, you knew he was thinking about it and started your detective work to try and figure out when it might happen.
You had asked - no, begged Morgan and Penelope for any kind of clue. It's not that you wanted to know exactly when and where, you just needed a clue to know how to prepare yourself. After a while, you just gave up and decided to let it happen.
You became suspicious when Spencer asked Hotch for you both to have a day off, something you both rarely requested. He also bought you a Vivienne Westwood dress you had been eying for years now.
“Spencer Reid, you did not. Oh my god you're crazy” You said as you opened the box
“Did you like it?”
“Are you kidding? I love it, thank you so much” You say, leaning in to embrace him in a tight hug
“Maybe I can take you to dinner this Saturday, and you can wear it” He says between giggles because of how wide your smile was, oh how he loved pampering you.
“Sounds perfect honey”
Now, finally the day you had been so excited for. Could Spencer just have felt like giving you the dress? Yes, but for some reason you felt there was more to it. Maybe the way he spent the whole day trying to hide how nervous he is, the way he’s letting you take your sweet time getting ready, saying things like “don’t rush honey” or the mysterious call he received from Morgan earlier that day but you were sure something was going to happen.
You finish getting ready and get into the car with him, he’s showering you with compliments the whole way. When he stops the car something is off, this is not a restaurant, in the dark you can’t really make out where you are but it seems familiar.
He gets out of the car, going around and opening the door for you, helping you get out. He walks you to the entrance of the place and opens the door that you now have recognized to be the library you two loved and also the place we’re he finally asked you out on a date after years of secretly-not-so-secretly being in love with you. Only now, there was a small round table there, with lit candles and a table set for two.
The shock made you not realize that Spencer had now let go of your hand, as you look to your side, you're met with your boyfriend down on one knee and a small velvet box in his hand.
“Honey, I have loved you since I first laid eyes on you. You’ve been my best friend, the best thing that ever happened to me, you make all the crazy stuff we go through easier, because we’re goin through it together. There’s no one I would rather live life with than you, so will you marry me?”
“Spencer..” That’s the only thing you manage to say, shocked and feeling a kind of happiness you never experienced before. “Of course I will. Oh my god I love you so much” You say, pulling on his arm so he stands up and you kiss him deeply. Feeling an amount of love you never thought was possible.
Once you pull away, he places the delicate ring on your hand and kisses you again. And all you can think is how you can’t wait to spend the rest of your life with him.

Untitled #4
Tumblr media
Tsubakino tries to keep his feelings about you to himself but it comes out more when he’s alone with Umemiya. Umemiya hasn’t been able to shut up about you since the two of you met over 5 years ago. Tsubakina can’t help but he happy seeing Ume so thrilled, but a little heartbroken as well. His facade is easily seen through.
“You’re upset about something.”
Tsubakino smiles hesitantly at his friend before coughing out, “you can tell?”
Umemiya nods as he prunes more of his garden. “You’ve been like this ever since I started dating her.” Without turning around he can sense his friends apprehension. Umemiya chuckles and stands up. He’s aware his tall friend wears his heart on his sleeve and that he’s had it for years. Umemiya feels regret that he doesn’t match his comrades feelings, but he can’t deny that strong pull he has toward you. Ume sighs and slowly turns around. “I really like her, love her, with all my heart. She’s… she’s really special.”
Tsubakino sniffles as he rubs at his eyes. He blinks quickly and smacks on a smile. “I know she is.
“And that’s why you’re gonna propose, isn’t it?”
****
You knew Tsubakino was better with make up and fashion which is why you had invited him over. After a couple of delinquents from a neighboring town tried giving you trouble, some of Bofurin had swept in to save the day; one of them being Tsubakino. The two of you quickly bonded and as the years went on became inseparable way after graduation. Within his friend group you met Umemiya and it seemed like the world around the two of you stopped momentarily. And the two of you weren’t the only one keen to that.
Right now, you’re looking through your closet for a good outfit as Tsubakino grills you about your date. You hadn’t revealed who you had a date with but you were getting too giddy and eager. As he examines your make up and accessories, you step out in your chosen outfit. The man on the floor claps his hands as he gasps in astonishment. “You look amazing! Whoever you’re meeting is sure in for a surprise!” You smile and clap with him, doing another twirl to admire your outfit. You’re not sure how much longer you can keep this to yourself. So you blurt out:
“It’s Hajime! Uh I mean Umemiya!”
Surprise and resentment quickly flash through Tsubakino’s eyes before he shakes his head and fakes shock. He wants to cry despite understanding why you would feel this way. So that’s why he’s been asking about you. “Oh? You caught my leaders eye! That’s not an easy task. He can be pretty dense when it comes to romantic feelings. So tell me, who asked who?”
You bite your lip nervously like a giggly teenager. “H-he asked me! He had walked me home from work and had the cutest expression on his face! He was so nervous which is weird for him,” you ramble on. “But he handed me a-“
“A ticket to the aquarium?!”
“Yes!”
He wants to cry. That’s the advice Umemiya had asked him the other day. “So that’s why he asked me about cute date ideas the other day.”
You pause and move to hug him. A strange feeling overcomes him as he hugs you back. His heart is shattering but at the same time he’s elated that someone he considers his best friend is finding happiness. Even if it’s not with him but you. You sign as you release him from the hug. “Thank you.”
Tsubakino points to himself in shock, lifting her eyebrows. You smile and intertwine his fingers with yours. “I know it sounds weird to thank you, but if you had never saved me I would’ve never met him…or you. You have no idea,” you squeeze his hand tightly, “how important you are to me. So I want to ask,
“Is it okay I go on a date with him?”
How is he supposed to say no? How can he tell you no? It’s clear the both of you have become important people in his life over the last few years. But can his heart handle the two most important people in his life dating?
****
“Gah?! How could you tell?”
Tsubakino crosses his arms and shakes his head. “You only come back to the top of Furin when you’re debating major life choices. Plus, the box in your pocket is poking out.”
Umemiya wipes at his forehead with an embarrassed chuckle. “You know me so well! Can you believe I’ve been with her for two years?” Umemiya sighs as he leans against the fence railing. “Amidst all the craziness we’ve been through, she still wants me.”
Tsubakino chuckles. “Why wouldn’t she? You’re an amazing guy. Anyone would be lucky to have you.” The wind rustles past them blowing flowing black tresses behind him. Umemiya turns to face his long time friend with a melancholic expression. The gardener sighs before speaking.
“I’m sorry I don’t return your feelings.” The other man flinches and gets flustered under the truth from the words. He blinks quickly in an attempt to keep his feelings at bay. Umemiya’s heart lurches for his friend as he steps forward. He places a calm hand over his comrade’s trembling one. “Thank you for caring for and about me. Thank you for loving me. And you know I will always love you,” Umemiya squeezes Tsubakino’s tear covered hand. “You both are very important to me and I wanted to check in with you before I asked her the question.
“Do I have your permission to marry her?”
****
Tsubakino is the first person you tell about your engagement. You video called him in happy tears with Hajime by your side. As the exchange happened, you notice a silent conversation between the two most important men in your life. You end the call by telling him, “I love you Tsubaki, thank you.”
He sniffles and nods, waving to the two of you. “I love you both. But I hope you know, Ume I have dibs on being her man of honor.”
He hangs up and the silliest argument between you and your fiancé ensues.

hey
wait
what about
mechanic!matt…………..he been told you to get rid of your car but you don’t have the money for it, the uni semester has already been off to a chaotic start, and PLUS it was a gift from your grandpa on your 18th :(
i lowkey kinda fucked up this req and changed it a bit cos i struggled to write it :| i wrote meeting mechanic!matt for the first time instead my bad my bad my bad.
you're freaking out.
you're freaking out so bad you're teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown, overwhelmed by a storm of emotions as you stand in the middle of the auto repair shop.
you've been so stressed; your new semester had a chaotic start, your classes keeping you unbelievably busy. to make matters worse, you've also had a painful falling out with your best friend, the kind of rift that feels like a gaping wound. on top of that, you recent breakup still fucking stings and you feel like you're going to throw up every time you cross paths.
and now, as if the universe is conspiring against you, your car has betrayed you, refusing to start in the middle of the road when you were on your way home. (the embarrassment of having to call a tow truck had only made it worse).
the constant sounds of clanging metal and the low hum of machinery surrounds you, gnawing at your nerves, overstimulating you. you close your eyes and rub your temples, desperately trying to block out the flickering overhead lights that create disorientating flashes behind your eyelids.
the air was thick too, heavy with the scent of motor oil and burnt rubber, a pungent reminder of your current predicament that makes your stomach churn with nausea, and you feel an overwhelming urge to escape, to bolt out the fucking door and leave this place behind.
but you can't.
you can't abandon your car — your baby, a precious gift from your grandpa.
with a deep breath, you peel your eyes open, your teeth gnawing at your bottom lip as you scan the bustling shop for the beefy man who greeted you when you first arrived. you're desperate for answers, anxious to find out if your car is truly fucked.
oh god, you wanted to cry. the thought of the repair costs makes you stomach twist. how much money will you have to spend? money that you don't even have. panic instantly washes over you.
you're screwed. you're done. you're hopeless. you're—
"hey," a voice jolts you from your spiralling thoughts, and you snap around, bracing yourself to confront the man you were searching for, but instead, you're taken aback by someone completely different.
he stands before you, hair tousled, strands falling over his light blue eyes. he's wearing a snug black tank top and dark blue overalls, the sleeves casually wrapped around his slim waist, showcasing a patchwork tattooed arm. his hands are smeared with grease and oil, evidence of a long day spent working on cars, and he nonchalantly twirls a wrench around his finger while chewing gum, casualness radiating from him as he stares at you.
"how bad is she?" you dare to ask, your voice trembles slightly, a mix of fear and hope surfacing in your chest.
the corner of his lips twitches slightly at your words before he begins. "she's not doin' too good." your heart sinks, a lump forming in your throat as you brace yourself for what's coming. "for starters, your battery is dead, but there's some damage done to the ignition system too... s'likely that the stater's shot, and the alternator needs replacing too."
you swallow hard, the reality of the situation hits you like a punch in the gut, and the weight of his words settling over you like a heavy fog. "how... how much are we talking?"
"could be a couple hundred for the battery 'n starter, maybe more dependin' on what else i find when i dig deeper," his fingers rhythmically tap against the wrench in his hands, chewing his gum slowly as he admits, "not gonna lie t'you, sweetheart — s'not gonna be cheap."
"fuck," another wave of panic rises within you, tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. you feel so helpless. "i uh, i don't, i.. i can't, i—"
"hey," he says again, his voice steady and soothing as he gets your attention. your watery eyes snap to his when you feel his hand touch your shoulder gently. you don't even care about the grease and oil staining your shirt right now. "take a deep breathe, yeah? in and out. eeeeasy."
you nod quickly, following his instructions, inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling through your mouth, trying to regain control over the rapid beating of your heart. your skin feels clammy, and your head is fuzzy, but his calm demeanour seems to help anchor you.
"there we go.. that's it," he hums softly, squeezing your arm as he nods in approval. "now, talk t'me. slowly."
"i... i can't afford it," you whisper defeatedly. "i don't have a job right now, i can't. i don't know how i'm going to pay for all this."
he studies you quietly for a moment, his gaze shifting from concern to something more contemplative. "we can figure somethin' out... sellin' the parts might be—"
"no!" you blurt out, shaking your head sharply. the suddenness of your response catches him off guard, his eyebrows raising slightly in surprise at your defiance. "i'm sorry, i... i can't sell it."
he lifts his hand to scratch at his cheek, squinting his eyes as he processes your reaction. "you uh, y'not makin' this easy, sweetheart—"
"i know, but i can't sell it," you insist with a soft sigh. "it means a lot to me.. please? is there another way?"
he studies you again, standing in silence, and you hold his gaze, hoping he'll come up with a solution. you watch as he takes a step closer, lowering his voice as if he's sharing a secret.
"what if.. we work somethin' out?" he suggests. "i'll uh, i'll fix your car for cheap — maybe for nothin' if you do somethin' for me?"
"what are you suggesting?" you ask, curiosity piqued.
he grins, revealing his pearly whites as he chews his gum, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly as if he hadn't just proposed something so serious and sudden. he doesn't answer you, which makes you prompt the question again, and he keeps the grin on his face as he turns and walks further into the shop, casting a glance over his shoulder at you, a silent invitation to follow him.

J Michael Tatum discusses returning to Spice and Wolf, dubbing philosophy, and Ouran's queer legacy
Tumblr media
J Michael Tatum is a juggernaut of the English dubbing sphere. He started out as a secondary character in 2005’s Samurai 7, a mecha-flavored adaptation of the Kurosawa film, and from there went on to play multiple iconic roles, including Sebastian Michaelis, Scar, Okabe Rintaro, and Isaac Dion. Most importantly for today’s discussion, however, are his turns as traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence (Spice and Wolf) and host club manager (and Shadow King) Ohtori Kyoya (Ouran High School Host Club).
We sat down with Tatum to talk about radical recent changes in the dubbing industry, what it’s like being a highly visible gay voice actor, and Ouran’s enduring appeal.
Anime Feminist: Just to start off with something probably a lot of folks have asked you at this point: but what’s it like playing Lawrence again after all these years?
J Michael Tatum: Oh, such a gift. BrIna and I both—Brina Palencia, who plays Holo–so love those characters and that franchise that we’ve been dreaming of getting to revisit them for years because we never really got to finish it. And we loved it so much that we came back for the audiobook when they asked us even though we don’t typically do audiobooks, because they’re very time-consuming. But we love those characters so much we couldn’t resist. And then now [there’s] the reboot, so it is lovely.
It’s always such a wonderful feeling to get to come back to characters that you feel a relationship with, that you feel akin to. Now, I’m older, hopefully a little wiser and have more tricks up my sleeve that we can bring to the performance that I wouldn’t have thought of when I was, you know, 18 years younger. I’m also just so glad that here I am, pushing 50, and I could still play him. [Laughs]

The Other Shoe (Waiting for it to drop)
Written for @bucktommypositivityweek Round 2! Today's prompt is "Coming Out Scenes!"
Read it on AO3 here.
“I, uh, I think it’s time to face the music,” Buck whispered, tugging on Tommy’s sleeve. His eyes wandered over to his parents, who had watched him and Tommy like hawks throughout the entire reception, though Buck had a hard time predicting what they were thinking. On one hand, therapy had been going well, and while The Buckleys would probably never be the big happy family Buck had wished for as a kid, Mom and Dad were trying. They had been nothing but supportive about him being Connor and Kameron’s sperm donor last year, and Buck would be lying if he said he hadn’t felt a pang of appreciation when they had stood up for him against Chimney’s father and stepmother.
On the other hand, well, these were his parents, and old fears die hard. While they had apologized for how they had treated him and Maddie and become better, there was a little voice at the back of his head that told him they’d just be disappointed again. The fact that his mother hadn’t managed to get rid of the bewildered look on her face since he had dragged Tommy into Chimney’s hospital room didn’t help.
“Should I be scared?” Tommy asked, raising an eyebrow.
Buck chuckled, though it sounded more like a nervous exhale. He stole another glance at his parents, then shifted his gaze to the floor, kicking at an imaginary speck of dust. “Nah,” he said, though he admittedly wasn’t even able to convince himself of that. “Not scared. Just... prepared.”
Tommy followed Buck’s gaze across the room, where Buck’s parents stood stiffly by a wall, half-empty champagne flutes clutched tightly in their hands. Buck knew they had been mingling just a few minutes ago, but he still couldn’t help but feel that they looked, well, out of place. While they were nothing but polite, they didn’t really mesh with anyone else, and always seemed a little awkward.
“They don’t seem like they bite,” Tommy observed, in that casual, dry tone Buck had grown to appreciate over the past few weeks. In an instant, a part of his anxiety evaporated and bubbled to the surface in a barely held back snort.
“Not literally, no.” Buck ran a hand through his hair with a shake of his head, the slight smile Tommy had brought to his face staying on his face. “It’s just... history, you know? They’re trying, and I get that, I do. But sometimes it’s like...” He trailed off with a shrug, struggling to find the right words. “It’s like I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
Tommy nodded, his hand reaching out to squeeze Buck’s. Buck had told him the basics, how Maddie had practically raised him, how their parents had been neglectful and controlling. He vaguely knew about Daniel, too, though Buck hadn’t delved into the whole Savior Baby thing yet. The subject was…touchy, to say the least, and while he knew he had to breach it at some point, he wanted Tommy to have as neutral an opinion on his parents as possible. They were putting in the effort, so Buck figured they deserved that much.
“Well,” Tommy said, squeezing Buck’s hand again, a bit firmer this time, “if things get weird, you’ve got me for backup. Just say the word, and I’ll distract them with my fake mouth static.”
Buck couldn’t help but let out a genuine laugh at that, which surprised even himself. Tommy had a knack for diffusing tension, and Buck was grateful for it. It was one of the reasons he had gravitated toward him in the first place. He tightened his grip on Tommy’s hand, drawing strength from the contact, before letting go and straightening up.
“Good idea. You’re renowned for your fake mouth static after all.”
“Damn right I am.”
They stood there for a moment, neither quite willing to take the first step towards the inevitable conversation. The reception was starting to wind down, (because the nurses were kicking people out now) so at least if this developed into a scene, not too many people would end up seeing. Chimney, now recovering well after the whole viral encephalitis debacle, was in high spirits, chatting animatedly with Hen and Karen. Maddie was close by his side, smiling brighter than he had ever seen, seemingly refusing to let go of her new husband’s arm.
The love between them gave Buck a tiny surge of courage. If Maddie and Chimney could find happiness after everything they had been through, then maybe things could work out with his and Maddie’s parents too.
“Alright,” Buck said, straightening his posture, bracing himself for impact. “Let’s do this.”
They crossed the room together, Tommy a step behind Buck, offering silent support. Buck’s parents straightened as he approached, their faces neutral masks. They clearly didn’t know how to react, and Buck could hardly blame them for that.
“Hi,” Buck said, forcing a smile. “You probably have a few questions.”
His mother’s eyes softened, but there was still a glimmer of uncertainty in them. His father cleared his throat, his grip on the champagne flute tightening just slightly. The atmosphere was stiff, and the air felt thick enough to cut it with a knife.
“Hi, Buck,” his mother replied, her voice wavering just a bit. Buck was actually (positively) surprised that she used his nickname, though he had to admit it sounded almost foreign in her voice. “Yes, we, uh…” She glanced at his father, who nodded, urging her to continue. “We do have some questions, but—”
“We don’t want to push,” his father interjected, his tone uncharacteristically gentle. “We’re just… trying to understand.”
Buck nodded slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction. They weren’t throwing accusations and bad faith arguments around, so that was a good start. Still, Buck knew that they weren’t out of the woods yet. He hadn’t spoken about the big B yet, after all.
“Yeah,” Buck said, rubbing the back of his neck, a nervous habit he hadn’t quite outgrown. “I figured. And, uh, it’s okay to ask. I know this is… a lot.”
He could see the moment his mother tried to put on a brave face, her lips curving into a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “We were surprised, that’s all,” she said. “When you came into the room with…”
She trailed off, her eyes moving over Buck’s shoulder to where he knew Tommy stood just a foot or two behind him. He took a deep breath. This was it. No going back. He had thought about it for weeks at this point, had said it out loud to himself in the mirror, but not to anybody else, not even Maddie or Tommy.
“Tommy.” He turned slightly, reaching out his hand out to Tommy, who took it into his own with a smile as he stepped up. “Mom, Dad, this is Tommy Kinard. He’s my date. He, uh… he’s the reason I figured out that I’m bisexual.”
The words hung in the air for what felt like an eternity. Buck could feel his heart pounding in his chest, the sound of his blood rushing through his ears almost deafening. He knew this moment was pivotal (one of the most important in his life, probably) and the weight of it pressed down on him like the world on Atlas’ shoulders.
His parents exchanged glances, and Buck could see an onslaught of emotions flitting across their faces: surprise, confusion, and perhaps a flicker of something that could be hope. His mother’s fingers tightened around the stem of her champagne flute, and his father took a small step closer to her.
Tommy, for his part, stayed by Buck’s side, his presence a quiet but powerful anchor. He gave Buck’s hand a reassuring squeeze, a silent promise that he was here, and that he wouldn’t leave. Buck was grateful for that; it reminded him that no matter what was going to happen, he wasn’t alone.
His mother was the first to speak. “Bisexual,” she repeated, as if testing the word on her tongue. Her brow furrowed slightly, but there was no trace of anger or disappointment in her tone. Instead, she seemed...curious. “I…well, I didn’t expect that.”
Buck could see his father’s jaw tighten momentarily before he let out a slow breath. “Buck,” he began, his voice careful, deliberate. “This is…this is a lot to take in. But I want you to know that we’re listening. We’re trying to understand.”
Buck nodded. This wasn’t a rejection, not outright. But it wasn’t exactly acceptance either, not yet, at least. Still, it was something, and in this moment, something was better than nothing.
“I know it’s a lot,” Buck said, his voice quieter now. “And I don’t expect you to get it all at once. I only figured it out a few weeks ago, too. I just wanted you to know, because…because it’s who I am. And Tommy… he’s important to me.”
His mother’s eyes softened at that, and Buck could see her shifting, recalibrating her thoughts, trying to process this new piece of information about her son. “Tommy,” she said, as if tasting the name for the first time. She looked at him then, really looked at him, and there was something in her gaze that was almost…gentle. “It’s nice to meet you, Tommy.”
Tommy smiled, his usual confidence replaced by an almost shy nervousness. “Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Buckley. And Mr. Buckley,” he added, nodding respectfully toward Buck’s father.
Buck’s father gave a small nod in return, though his expression remained unreadable. “Tommy,” he repeated, his voice a bit more measured. “You’re… Buck’s boyfriend?”
Buck sucked in a sharp breath. Obviously that question would come up. He should’ve been prepared for it, but he wasn’t. He and Tommy hadn’t even really had that conversation. He’d certainly like for Tommy to be his boyfriend, he just wasn’t sure if Tommy was at that point yet. It had only been a few weeks after all. They had been on four dates, one of which was a complete disaster, and another that hadn’t even been a date at first, but an apology for the date that had been a complete disaster.
“Yeah,” Tommy said, his tone steady. “I’m his boyfriend. And I know this might be surprising, but Evan…he means a lot to me. I care about him.”
Buck’s breath hitched in his throat. He hadn’t expected Tommy to say it outright. He had expected a lighthearted “Not yet” or “We’re seeing each other.” That he’d gone right ahead… Buck’s heart swelled just a little bit. He squeezed Tommy’s hand a little tighter, grateful beyond words. Tommy’s answer made Buck just a little braver.
Finally, his mother spoke again. “I…I see,” she said, her voice softer now, almost hesitant. She looked at Buck, her eyes searching his, as if trying to reconcile the son she knew with these new things she was learning about him. “And you… you’re happy?”
Buck felt a lump rise in his throat. It was such a simple question, but it carried so much baggage. She wasn’t asking if he was happy with Tommy. She was asking if he was happy with himself, something that would’ve been absolutely unthinkable just three years ago.
“I am,” Buck replied, his voice growing more assured. “I’m happy, Mom. I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time.”
His mother’s eyes shimmered with unshed tears, and she nodded slowly, as if coming to a decision within herself. She reached out then, tentatively, her hand hovering in the air for a moment before she placed it on Buck’s arm. “That’s all we want, Buck,” she whispered, her voice wavering a little. “We just want you to be happy.”
His father, who had been silent for most of the exchange, cleared his throat again. “It’s…a lot to adjust to,” he admitted, his voice gruff but not unkind. “But if this is who you are, and if this man makes you happy, then…well, we’ll do our best to understand.”
Buck felt a surge of relief wash over him, so powerful that it nearly knocked him off his feet. It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot, but it was something. Something good. It was yet another step toward healing their relationship, and for that, he was grateful.
“Thank you,” Buck said, his voice barely above a whisper. “Thank you for not, like, freaking out.”
His father gave a small nod, and his mother’s hand tightened on his arm, a silent reassurance that they were, in fact, trying. Tommy smiled and wrapped his arm around Buck’s shoulders, Buck leaning into his side almost automatically, enjoying the warmth of their connection.
His mother glanced over at Tommy, her expression softening further. “You’re welcome to join us for dinner before we fly back to Hershey, Tommy,” she said, a small, tentative smile tugging at her lips. “We’d like to get to know you better.”
Tommy’s eyes widened at the invitation, and Buck didn’t blame him. It was already unusual that Tommy had met his parents this early, but getting invited to family dinner? That was big. “I’d love to, Mrs. Buckley. Thank you.”
Buck’s father gave a curt nod, not quite ready to add anything further, but his stance had relaxed just a little. There was still a long way to go, a lot of conversations to be had, but in that moment, Buck knew they were moving in the right direction.
As the reception continued to wind down, Buck stood there with Tommy by his side, his parents before him, and for the first time in a long while, he felt a cautious sense of optimism. The journey ahead would be challenging, there was no doubt about that, but they were all still here, still trying, and that was more than Buck could have hoped for when he first approached them.
As they exchanged a few more words, lighter now, less fraught with tension, Buck realized that this was what he had been waiting for all along. Not just acceptance, but the willingness to grow, to move forward together. And maybe that was enough to help the wounds of the past heal.

I don't know how to word it properly but I want to request, Penguin and y/n (who are currently not dating) go on a Wano festival date.
Dressed in yukatas, playing games, winning prizes for each other, hand feeding food/takoyaki to eachother to try, watching fireworks near a cherry tree, a petal falls on one of their heads and they brush it out flustering the other a bit ☺️💕 That classic anime/manga trope.
Omg yes, the classic anime trope with Penguin, my heart. 💚💚 This is so cute thank you for this! I can see Penguin in this situation so well!
Tumblr media
When Penguin asked you to be his date for one of the post-battle Wano festivals, you were quick to accept with such a bright smile that he couldn’t help but return it. He didn’t think you’d actually agree at first, but when you did, he was ecstatic! He was worried you didn’t feel the same way or would just say no thanks, but even Law could see how much the two of you liked each other. It was a wonder you hadn’t gotten together yet.
He figures the two of you will just see what happens the day of your date, there’s no definite plan apart from the end of the night. There’s going to be fireworks again and Penguin fully intends on bringing you to the hill with a cherry blossom tree to watch them. He does realize there might be other couples there, but it doesn’t matter. He likes you so much, he wants to make this first date special!
Penguin is so nervous though when he leads you through the festival stalls, holding your hand to keep from losing you in the crowd. He was nervous before you two even took off on your own, but when he sees you in your yukata he felt the blush creep up his face as you smile at him and tell him he looks nice in his blue yukata. He stammers out a thank you and replies in kind, which makes you just as happy.
Penguin watches you stare at a stuffed animal that one of the game stalls has, it’s a cute little penguin, making him grin over it. Maybe you’re thinking about him, or maybe it’s just a cute plush to you. Either way, the way you’re looking at it tells him you want it more than other toys or prizes you’ve seen tonight. When he offers to play the game to get it, you try to tell him not to worry about it.
“I don’t want you to waste your money on it! It’s just a plush, I can—”
“No, it’s not a waste at all!” Penguin’s grin is more then enough to make you relent, as he leads you over to the stall and puts down the money for the game, receiving three balls to throw at the bottles set up in return. “Just watch, I’m great at this!”
He might have over exaggerated his skills, but Penguin gets so close the third time, the stall runner gives him a smaller stuffed penguin as a prize. He feels a little bad that he could get you the bigger plush prize, but the second he hands it to you and tries to apologize, you just give him a kiss on the cheek that makes his face redder than before as you smile.
“This is perfect, thank you, Penguin! He’s adorable!”
You both decide to get some food after that, agreeing on a takoyaki stand nearby the game, Penguin stays to wait for your order while you wander off to another stall for a moment. When you meet back up, Penguin takes your hand again and starts to lead you somewhere you can sit to eat, picking a spot near a cheery tree so you can wait for the fireworks too.
“Did you find something at the stall you went to?”
“Oh, I did!” You give him a grin while you pull a small package from your sleeve and hold it out to him, “It’s a good luck charm for you!”
“You…you didn’t need to spend money on—”
“Well you got me the plushie…it’s only fair you get something too!”
He really can’t argue with you about that, he might even need that good luck charm after tonight. He feels like all his luck is gone anyway, just because you accepted his invitation. Penguin thanks you while he takes the charm, before offering your share of the takoyaki to you. His face goes bright red when you don’t take it from his hand and just eat it right off the skewer, still in his hand, telling him it’s one of the better takoyaki you’ve had.  You laugh a bit at his embarrassed face when you offer a piece to him, which he eats in the same way.
He's so cute.
The rest of your food gets forgotten at you start talking, both glad everyone made it through the fight against Kaido and Big Mom, relieved nothing happened to Law or the other captains, or any of your friends. There so much to be done before your crew takes off, but you’re happy to have a small break, a night to relax and do whatever, especially with Penguin. Once the fireworks start, you watch them for a bit before looking back to your date, smiling as you watch him instead.
You’re beyond happy he asked you out, you had planned to do so before he got to you the day before. The fact he actually asked surprised you, after all the mutual flirting and a few close first kisses, he finally decided to ask you on a date, you went to Ikkaku squealing and non-stop smiling the rest of the day. After the last few years of having a crush on him, it’s nice to see it’s returned, you aren’t worried you’ve wasted time getting to know him better.
You surprise Penguin by brushing a few cherry blossom petals off his hat before placing a kiss on his cheek and laying your head on his shoulder. He knows his face must be redder the candy apples being sold, but he doesn’t mind, not when he puts his arm around your shoulders and kisses your forehead in return.
“This was a nice first date.”
“Yeah…?” You nod as Penguin realizes something, “Wait, ‘first’?”
“Well, yeah,” you glance up in time to see Penguin’s face is red but he’s starting to smile, “I expect we’ll have another one in a few days or something, after we leave Wano. Seems like Captain doesn’t mind it so.”
You shrug while Penguin laughs a bit, nodding.
“We’ll definitely have another date.”

night in (lee harker x reader)
(contains: calling lee "daddy," her spitting in your mouth, degradation, reader is referred to as having a "clit," "pussy" and "folds," reader receiving fingering)
idea came from this anon!! thank you so much for it hehe 💗💗
⊹₊。ꕤ˚₊⊹₊˚⊹ ♡ ʚ🎀ɞ ♡ ⊹˚༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ
"c'mon," you whine, wiggling your fingers at lee, cocking your head to the side, "just do it. please, for me?"
she rolls her eyes. "I'm not gonna arm wrestle with you in a public place."
you two are seated at a table in your favourite fast food place, awaiting your order number, 526, to get called out. after spending far too many seconds having stared at your girlfriend's hands, and the way the veins became more defined when she flexed and moved them, you inquired after an arm wrestling challenge.
lee isn't so up for it, tentatively watching the crowd of students surrounding you two. you pout at her, gripping her wrist and shaking it. "baby, please, we'll never see these people again."
she gives you a wry half-smile. "in a town this small, we absolutely will."
she has a point -- one that you choose to discard, tugging on her arm some more. "do it, do it. don't you want an opportunity to flex to me how strong you are?"
her smile widens, just by a twitch, voice lowering. "and here I thought you got enough of that when you watch me work out."
you smack her arm, bristling and leaning back. it's true, and you hated her for having that on you. whenever she worked out from home, you practically ogled her, mouth watering at how her muscles gently rolled as she lifted weights, the way her shoulders tensed and flexed when she did push-ups. there had been all too many workouts of hers that, due to your endless coaxing and flirting, ended with you on your back, her fingers shoved deep inside you.
you feel yourself clench down at the memory, trying to kick the mental image to the back of your mind, far away from the forefront. "well, regardless, there can never be too much showing off." you grab her hand, trying to will her arm into the position of an arm wrestle. "stop being so stubborn and just do it to pass the time."
finally, she heaves a sigh, releasing your hand and shrugging off her jacket. the sight has you holding your breath, eyes nearly shutting when she begins to roll up the sleeves of her turtleneck. she props her elbow on the table, palm open and ready for you.
you giggle at your success, patting yourself on the back.
a small scoff slips past her soft lips. when your hand slides into hers, palms rubbing together, you almost feel like you're back to months ago, when you had held her hand for very the first time. the way her long fingers wrap around yours, how cool her skin feels, the firmness of her grip -- all of which you're now intimately familiar with, but nonetheless, the slow, intentional interlocking of hands just reminds you of how good it feels to have her be yours.
"okay," you mutter, shifting in your seat, a tense flow of anticipation washing through you. "three, two, one."
immediately, you force as much strength as you can into your arm, gritting your teeth and furrowing your brows in concentration. you glance at lee, nearly crying out at how composed she looks. her jaw is tense, and her mouth is tightly pressed together, yes, but she just watches your hands intently, blinking slowly at it, her breathing barely altered. meanwhile, you're gasping at her strength.
it takes approximately ten seconds before the back of your hand smacks down on the table. you wince, bottom lip jutting out as you lift and twist your sensitive wrist around. meanwhile, lee settles back into her seat, a small, satisfied curl to her lips.
"oh, shut up," you grumble.
she tenderly grabs the hand you're rubbing, her thumb's tip beginning to gently circle it, the ghost of her touch nearly turning you into putty. "I didn't say anything."
you grunt. "your stupid face says it all."
"I thought you liked my face?" her voice is lightened with an edge of teasing.
"no, no, we have an amicable relationship only."
her mouth twitches, the near-smirk immediately fading away when you make eye contact. you sigh. "what? what were you gonna say?"
she shrugs, mouth twisting in evident amusement. "nothing."
"just tell me, lee."
"I was just..." she glances nervously to the people surrounding you two, pulling your hand gently so you two can be closer. your breath trembles at the proximity. her voice trickles to a whisper. "I was going to ask if you sit on everything you have an amicable relationship with?"
"order 526!"
you groan, pushing her away, stomping towards the counter. she remains in her seat, fondly staring at you as you grab the paper bag and head out the doors, which does nothing to help in quelling the blush in your cheeks.
as you head out into the parking lot, you immediately shiver at the cold, bitter air hitting your face. almost as though she senses your discomfort, lee appears a moment later, sliding her arm into her jacket, hissing as soon as she feels the weather. she turns to you, wordlessly bending down to hook in your zipper and pull it up. flustered and in awe, you nearly shove your face into the takeout and scream in that moment, the urge only intensifying when she wraps an arm around your waist, leading you back to her car, which of course, she somehow memorized the exact parking spot of.
when seated in the car, her eyes flicker to you, mouth opening and closing.
you don't miss it. "what is it?"
her lips press together, and she avoids your gaze. "was that joke, um, okay? the one I just made?"
at once, your shoulders sag, melting into your seat. you lay a soft hand to her cheek. "baby, of course. I was just messing around when I left the table."
"no, no, I know," she says as she plugs her keys in, turning the car on. "I just hoped I didn't push it too far or make you feel... uncomfortable. I'm, well... worried I wouldn't be able to tell." her eyes are frozen on the wheel.
"you didn't, baby, I promise. okay?"
her wide eyes blink to you, and when you nod gently, her own head tilts in response. it's barely there, but you can see the way her shoulders relax at your confirmation.
you clear your throat, smiling bashfully to yourself. "plus, you may have somewhat had a point."
as she begins driving, the corner of her lip quirks up. "I know."
you smack her arm again.
upon your guys' arrival at her cottage, you saunter through the door, tossing your head back at her. "though, I think we ought to have a rematch."
she practically glides past you, as though the idea is of no serious consequence to her, heading to the kitchen to set the paper bag down. "is there a point?"
you bounce lightly on the balls of your feet. in truth, there really is no point to engaging in any sort of physically challenging competition with her. she's part of the fucking fbi, for crying out loud, her body's probably numb from all the damn training she's spent years doing. but, you're not bringing this suggestion up for the sake of proving her weak. you know you have no chance in that. the truth is really that you haven't been able to get her casual display of physical strength out of your head since you two left the restaurant. the way it didn't even take her a minute before she sent your arm plummeting to the table. just like how it is when you watch her work out, or when she carries heavy things for you, you're worked up. and play fighting with her -- well, it was just one of many fantasies and wants you haven't confessed to her yet.
as she exits the kitchen, peeling off her jacket, which is damp with snow, her eyes scan you carefully, observing you. "why are you looking at me like that?"
embarrassed to have been so quickly caught in scheming, you grab the fabric of her shirt that's clutching around her stomach, yanking her forward. "come, come, one more match."
"baby, I'm hungry."
"so, use this as motivation."
she searches your face, eyes glinting with an unspoken question, before finally sighing. "fine. another arm wrestle?"
you drag her to her bedroom. "no, play fight."
you feel her pause. "is this some sort of competitiveness?"
a laugh bellows from you. "it's just fun, lee."
when she speaks, her voice is small, as though she pities you for the admission. "I'm probably going to win, though."
as soon as you two enter her bedroom, you grip onto her forearm, using her surprise as an opportunity to push her onto the bed. she flings onto it, a small, monotone, "ah," coming from her, and your face cracks at the noise.
"someone spoke too soon," you muse, something churning in your stomach at the sight of her on her back, looking up at you, her pony tail messy with strands streaming out.
she flattens her palms on the comforter, lifting herself up, eyes widening when you push at her shoulders again, an action which sends her sinking into the mattress again.
"babe," she breathes, eyebrows scrunched together, creasing her forehead in confusion. when she starts shifting up again, her eyes are narrowed on you, hooked onto your every single move.
and so, you let her stand up, not wanting to lose. her shoulders are tense, as though she's poised and prepared for your every move. it causes an eager thrill to whirl within you, your stomach flipping at her focused gaze.
"why do you want to play fight so bad?"
you shrug, trying to level your voice. god, even when done for the sake of pure fun, it was hard to lie to her. "just to see how it feels."
when the corner of her lip tilts up, and she looks away with a little snarky huff, you seize the chance, lunging towards her to shove her down again.
your heart beats in your ears when her eyes dart up right before you can touch her, her hands snapping up to clutch at your wrists, whirling you around and pressing your front to the nearest wall. she holds your interlocked hands to your back in one hand, the other flat against the spot between your shoulder blades, pressing you in.
adrenaline shooting through you, you push all your force back into her, trying to send her flying back. but, she's too strong and too acutely aware of your moves now, and she keeps ahold of your wrists as she yanks you from the wall, practically throwing you on the bed.
you kick your feet out, trying desperately to grab ahold of any win you can. what you receive in response is lee's iron grip to your leg that keeps you in place, her body lithely crawling on top of you so her thighs lock in your other leg. you grunt loudly at the pressure, but inside, you're marvelling at just how strong your girlfriend is.
she straddles your hips, knees pressing against the plush sides of your body. when your hands flinch, readying to try to push her off, she's faster than you could dream, long fingers wrapping around yours as she pins them to the bed.
as the heat of the moment wears off, your breaths evening out, her actions of the last few moments soak into your mind, and with it, comes an ache between your legs. the sensation only seeps further into your abdomen when you come face to face with her burning eyes, which are wide with energy, her soft lips releasing warm puffs of air all over your face.
her head dips down to yours, strays of her brown hair tickling at your cheeks. "satisfied? this is how it feels." her voice, like most of the time, is flat, but it's also heavy, deeper, with the charge of the moment, and you squirm under her.
her eyes flick down to your crotch, mouth twitching in realization. "you're turned on."
"no," you whine, shaking your head. "I'm not, I just--"
"stop trying to lie to me," she cuts you off in a hushed voice, smooth and thick like caramel. it's so authoritative and steady, and you whimper at it.
at the meek sound you produce, she blinks down at you, a small, endeared smile on her face. "was this your plan since the beginning?" she pushes her strong thigh between your legs, pressing down. "since we picked up food?"
"no!" you exclaim, indignant at the suggestion (as though you hadn't been hatching a plan since post-restaurant). "no, that was genuine."
"then?" she whispers, her hand languidly sliding from your entwined wrists to down your body. she playfully squeezes a tit, thumb rubbing slow, light circles around your nipple, then continuing her way down. her palm rubs at your tummy, sneaking under your shirt, and you gasp at her cold skin against you. finally, she tugs at your belt, releasing it from your buckle, her gaze never faltering. "since we got home?"
"I... I..." you hesitate, your previous boldness practically dissipating now that you have to confess to her.
"you..?" she drawls out, hand slipping into your jeans. when her fingertips brush against your sodden underwear, she hisses. "god. you've been wanting for a while." she says it plainly, as an objective, hard fact, and her bluntness only makes you even more turned on. at your lack of answer, she tilts her head, waiting.
your voice is small. "yes, I've been wanting it for a while."
"you still haven't specified how long," she murmurs, lips diving to your neck, pressing soft, wet kisses along your skin, pausing to suck a rough, stinging mark, the lovebite leaving you writhing. "tell me."
you shoulders twist in pleasure from her ministrations. "I... you're right. since we got home."
she hums in response, three fingers pressing into your clit, the wet fabric of your underwear stickily clinging to your pussy. she pushes and rubs slow, firm circles against your longing bud, her teeth gently sinking into your shoulder, licking a long stripe to soothe it after you cry out. "are you just always in the mood or something?"
her tone is absent of bite, the words playfully mocking. and as frustrated as you are to admit it, you still let her words get a rise to you. you shake your head hard, nose wrinkling in disagreement. "no! I'm not easy or something--"
she suddenly pushes her thumb to your clit over your underwear, rubbing it side to side with enough pressure to send you tumbling into a slew of moans.
"what was that?" she nips at your jaw, thumb continuing to roughly toy with your clit, her longer fingers massaging against your wet mound.
"I said I'm not easy." the firm intent of your words is made less believable with your moans and whines, you know so. stupid lee.
"yeah?" her hand pushes past your underwear, and the feeling of her fingers directly against your dripping pussy has you crying out. she rubs your folds between her thumb and index finger, lazily playing with them as though she has all day to be exploring you. her knuckles brush against your swollen lips, and she dips two fingers in, dangerously close to sliding into your hole. "are you sure you want to keep fighting that argument?"
her fingers begin to stroke a bit deeper, slipping in, slipping out, the teasing motions sending your hips bucking. she leans her weight onto you more, keeping your hips stuck under her. "just admit it."
your mouth quivers, clit fucking throbbing for more. you can't help but give in. "fine. I'm, um, I'm easy."
"who are you easy for?"
you turn away, face growing warm. "I hate you, lee."
she ducks down, grazing her teeth along your earlobe. "first, it was amicability, now hating me? it doesn't feel that way." to prove her point, she slips her fingers out, smearing your juices against your budging clit. her fingers become slippery against it, smoothly gliding along the bud, hard enough to send you clenching, but lacking in pressure enough to leave the burning in you unsated.
"well, it's true," you gasp out as she suddenly flicks her fingertips.
"mm, well, I suppose I should stop, then."
you groan in frustration, too needy to continue playing such games with her. "fine..." you eye her neck, which is shiny with sweat. "I'm easy for you, lee. I only want -- ah!"
you cry out loudly, nearly sobbing in pleasure when she finally pushes two fingers deep into you. she's ruthless, her fingers moving swiftly, her entire being completely in tune with the body she's lavished her attention on countless of times. her knees lock in, keeping your body still as her fingers curl in you, roughly pounding in and out.
"keep going," she demands, fingers thrusting in you so sloppily, your juices helping her reach in with ease. the sensation of her long fingers rubbing against your sensitive inner walls make you keen.
"I only belong to you," you moan, neck arching up. you'll do practically anything at this point, if it means she'll keeps going. and the longer she does go, the hazier your mind gets, inhibitions pouring away.
"again."
"I only belong to you, daddy." you pant, tongue hanging out as she continues to plunge her fingers into you, spreading you open. the feeling of her digits deep inside you is so distinct, so exact, and the intimacy of her truly being inside such a hidden spot of yours makes your mind hazy with adoration.
after a few more moments of nothing but gasps and moans, it sinks into you what you just said. you jerk up, hand flying to your mouth. oh my god. yeah... that is one of the things you never have told her about.
her movements slow down, and despite your humiliation, you let out a strangled noise.
she sucks in deep breaths, nostrils flaring. "did you just call me 'daddy'?"
you swallow hard, stomach tickling with the acute humiliation from having been caught saying it rather than introducing the idea in a dignified, or at the very least, fully clothed, conversation. "um, yeah. I'm so, so sorry. it just slipped out, I--"
your words melt into a relieved sigh when she presses her mouth down, pink lips slowly pressing and roving along yours. her tongue gently sinks into your mouth, and when you open wider, she slides it in, massaging your own wet muscle with hers. you gasp against her when her fingers begin to skim feather touches to your pussy lips.
"don't," she rasps out against your mouth. she pauses, before quietly admitting, "I liked it."
she meets you for another brutal kiss, lips hard with pressure, teeth gently clashing as her tongue flicks playfully against yours. at once, her thumb begins to circle your clit and the precipice of pleasure has you arching against her.
arousal courses through you as you register her confirmation. "you do?"
"mhm." she drops one last soft kiss to your mouth before her fingers easily slide into your hole again. you cry out at the sensation, and she sharply bites on your bottom lip, groaning into your mouth. she hesitates before saying, "call me it again."
your cry breaks into pieces at the request, hesitating before obeying her. "I-I... okay, daddy."
she sighs, pressing her forehead to your neck, hot gasps hitting your sweaty skin as her fingers speed up, jerking hard inside you. "there you go, baby. take it for me like a good girl."
you choke out a gasp at her words, hips impossibly unsteady. she pauses momentarily to slide her legs between yours. right hand still impossibly deep in you, she uses her left to bend one of your knees up, spreading you open even further.
she presses her torso flush against yours, fingers beginning to ram in you again. the way she's spread your legs out has her fingers' movements even more pronounced, and she has enough room now to tilt her palm up so that it presses into your clit with each thrust.
she bites her lip. "you hear that?" she goes silent for a few moments, nothing but the soaked squelching of your pussy ringing in the room. you softly whine, shivering at the noise and how exposed you feel. but, she doesn't back down. "your pussy is always so ready for me. sometimes I wonder if there's a moment where you aren't wet."
her chiding words have you trembling under her, your pussy beginning to latch on tighter.
she snickers softly, her laugh lines deepening as she smiles. in the midst of your guys' rushed, messy movements, fondness overtakes your chest at the sight. she's so lovely.
"so responsive," she murmurs against your cheek. "have you always been this good at being a slut?"
her words send you into submissive puddle, and you shake your head, whimpering. "no, daddy, only for you."
her eyes widen at the title, becoming heavy-lidded once she begins to speak, watching you fall apart under her. "that's right. this is my pussy. gonna fill you up every night and ruin anyone else for you."
you giggle, feeling nearly delirious with the mix of sensations. "yeah? you're so confident that you think no one else has a chance?"
a small, breathless laugh flies from her lips, and you feel the air of it hitting your skin. "I know no one else does." her forehead presses to yours and her tongue slips out, slowly stroking along your top lip, which parts from your bottom as soon as the contact hits. "the way you open up is proof enough."
your thighs clench at her honest words, burying your face in the sheets. "it's not my fault." your tone softens. "it feels too good, daddy."
something flashes in her eyes. you love what this little nickname seems to be triggering in her, as though each time you call it out, you're only tugging her deeper into her all-consuming state of dominance.
her jaw clenches and she presses the heel of her palm hard against your clit, which sends you squeezing on her fingers again, your orgasm fast approaching. "baby, I'm close, I--" you cry out as her fingers curl, hitting that deep spot in you. she starts relentlessly, ceaselessly pressing down on it, her palm still bumping against your swollen, stiff clit.
"I know, baby, I know," she breathes into your neck. "why don't you let go for daddy? come all over my fingers." her voice is shaking, but the command is firm.
god, fuck, that was so sexy. hearing her call herself it has your mouth hanging open, gasping, wanting her to completely take control of you. she smirks at the sight, grabbing your chin and roughly spitting into your mouth, the sudden noise resulting from it making you jerk up. as you feel her spit roll down your tongue and into your throat, your body twists in satisfaction, swallowing it down. you love when she gets like this -- so possessive and unhinged in her pursuit of your pleasure. she continues holding you in place, her gentle rubs along your cheek at total contrast to the fingers drilling into your hole, making you feel almost confused as to which sensation was which.
when you come, you spasm all over her fingers, walls fluttering and sucking her in, and she grunts as she struggles to continue fingerfucking you. but, she keeps going as best as she can, pushing and pulling, mindlessly sucking at your neck, until you whine for her to stop.
when she slips her fingers out, you feel suddenly empty, and you nearly beg for her to put them back in. but, the soreness that starts creeping in between your legs is enough to stop you. when you tell lee as much, she kisses your head, running a hot bath for you two.
in the warm water, you feel her chest, which is pressed to your back, suddenly rumble with silent laughter. when you turn to her curiously, her teeth flash as she chuckles gently.
"so, 'daddy,' huh?"

What you hate about each Encanto character and what you love about each Encanto character?
oh this is such a fun ask! a hard question as I love all the madrigals and the fact they’re so flawed makes them more fun to follow!
alma: i love her commitment, how she vowed to protect all these people even sacrificing her own needs to provide for others, how she promised these people a place of refudge and was always there to provide.
dislike: An obvious one here but I dislike how controlling alma can be, how her need for perfection can blind her and lead her to disregarding her own families feelings as well as her own! Her generally dismissing a lot of the problems of her family like telling pepa to control her emotions or not realizing how hurtful her comments are to mirabel.
pepa: i love how emotional she is! when pepa loves she loves with her entire heart she pours her all into every interaction and she wears her heart on her sleeve! she’s so compassionate! pepa truly is an open book and I love her for it!
dislike: i would probably say how she can get irrational very quickly and cause situations to elevate fast! Although I really can’t blame her for this based on the circumstances!
julieta: i always describe julieta as warm and i feel like no other word can capture her comforting nature and gentleness. I just love her warmth and her soothing energy!
dislike: I would say how she tends to coddle mirabel a lot. I know it comes from a place of love but you can see it doesn’t help mirabel and only makes her feel more insecure because julieta doesn’t understand her.
bruno: for bruno I would say I love how selfless he is. It’s a big thing to sacrifice your own sanity like that for someone else and it’s touching how much he truly cares about mirabel to want to protect her like that.
dislike: i would have to say how he’s timid a lot of the time. It’s sad to see him become so resigned and almost accept his fate and stay in the walls possibly forever. He had no fight left in him.
felix: I adore how felix is just the epitome of life of the party! he’s so uplifting and I love how he never gives out to pepa for her emotions. He’s the best at cheering people up and a sunshine in everyone’s lives!
dislike: about felix? that’s hard to say I feel like we don’t see enough of him for me to really base my answer on anything so I’m just gonna say how he told pepa about the vision at dinner😭 dude that was the worst idea!!
agustín: i love how supportive he is! He continuously supports julieta he runs after luisa when she’s upset and he promises mirabel he would hide the vision to protect her! the fact both he and julieta tried to go after her when she ran for the candle too! He also fiercely stands up for mirabel in such an iconic way and he doesn’t back down!
dislike: I would have to say how he can often hammer in the fact he is also unexceptional to try relate to mirabel but it makes the situation worse.
isabela: I love how loyal isa is. She was doing everything for the sake of the family and was willing to sign her entire life away just to keep them happy. Her loyalty knows no limits and I just feel it’s such a defining trait for her.
dislike: probably how smug she can be at times a key example being the apologize scene! it is funny but it’s also infuriating how smug she was making mirabel apologize for something she didn’t even do. Also how she tells mirabel to shut up and her general rude remarks to her!
dolores: for dolores I would say I love how attentive she is! small scene but how she immediately notices alma needs help and goes to offer her support! She notices the small details even without her super hearing! Like how she points out how mariano talks loud even though she hears everyone’s voice his always stuck out to her <3
dislike: probably how she blurts stuff out without thinking it through! like we know she was trying to be helpful when she told the kids mirabel doesn’t have a gift but she didn’t consider how mirabel would feel about that.
luisa: I love how kind luisa is! she was always willing to lend a hand to the people who need her even when they absolutely could deal with a lot of issues themselves! She’s also very sensitive and soft and I love when she allows herself to be vulnerable!
dislike: this might be unexpected but for dislike i would have to say how she kept ignoring mirabel when she wanted to talk. I understand she was stressed and mirabels being irritating but she could atleast look at her, mirabels already ignored a lot already and all she wanted was to talk to her sister about an issue.
camilo: like how mirabel says in the opening song I love how camilo won’t stop until he makes people smile! whether it be through his humor or his compassion I get the impression he would always be there for people. the scene where he comforts pepa is such a key example of this!
dislike: he can be a bit too blunt at times where it’s definitely not called for! he also has a tendency to exaggerate the truth for dramatic effect!
mirabel: have always said this and always will mirabels core trait is her empathy! Her ability to see others perspectives and empathize with them is so important! I always think of the “I need you” scene as a key example of this. She put aside her own feelings and focused on supporting antonio making sure he’s ok! how when she learns of the other madrigals struggles she tries her best to help them or comfort them! empathy is such a strong defining trait for her!
dislike: when it comes to mirabels negative traits I would have to say her stubbornness is the most prominent. the entire scene in isabelas room is proof of this she would have rathered let that house collapse than apologize or even listen to isabelas struggles the fact she was supportive and empathic to everyone’s issues but isas (at first) she was too stubborn to put aside her issues with isa! but also her recklessness and impulsiveness tie into this as well.
antonio: I love everything about him he’s so sweet and caring and I love how he returns the support mirabel gave to him! he always believed in her and was her biggest supporter and best friend! also how offered his plushie to comfort bruno when he was nervous! antonio is just such a caring kid!
dislike: nothing literally nothing how can u dislike this baby?

House-husband Sephiroth x reader
Tumblr media
In the quiet home, Sephiroth stared at the mountain of dirty laundry, his brow furrowing as he tried to sort the various colors and materials that lay before him. The mighty warrior had to accept that, in this new realm of housekeeping, he was nothing more than a bumbling beginner.
He picked up a shirt, its sleeves stained with some unidentifiable substance. He had tried to cook spaghetti for the boys, but his skills in the kitchen, much like his laundry sorting, left much to be desired.
Kadaj and Yazoo were walking down the hallway, bickering amongst themselves as they approached their father.
"Old man, we're boooored..." Kadaj whined, flopping onto the floor.
Yazoo rolled his eyes at Kadaj and crossed his arms. "Don't whine so much, Kadaj. It's annoying."
Sephiroth smirked as his two sons approached him, their usual banter a familiar sound to his ears. He continued sorting through the laundry, his hands working busily as he addressed them.
"Bored, are you? Well, I suppose I could use some help with this mountain of laundry." He gestured to the pile of clothes before them, the different colors and materials creating a chaotic mess. "And it's dad to you, Kadaj."
Kadaj looked at the pile of laundry and screwed up his face in disgust. "Ugh, laundry?! That's for sissies!"
Yazoo rolled his eyes again at Kadaj's childish outburst. "You're just saying that because you don't know how to do laundry."
Kadaj stuck out his tongue at Yazoo. "Am not! Shut up, loser."
The two of them were like two peas in a pod sometimes, Sephiroth thought. Always competitive, always trying to one-up each other.
"Well, whether it's for sissies or not, it still needs to be done," Sephiroth said, a hint of sternness in his voice. "Besides, it's a good life skill to learn."
He looked at Kadaj, his eyes narrowing slightly. "And stop calling your brother a loser. We don't insult each other in this house."
Kadaj folded his arms and pouted, crossing his arms. "But it's true! He is a loser!"
Yazoo shot Kadaj a glare, his eyes lighting up with irritation. "Yeah? Well at least I'm not a crybaby!" Yazoo snapped back.
Kadaj's eyes widened in anger, his face turning red. "I am NOT a crybaby! You're the crybaby!"
Sephiroth pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache starting to form. These two were going to drive him insane someday.
"Enough, both of you," he said sternly. "You're siblings, not enemies. Fighting all the time isn't productive."
He looked at Kadaj and Yazoo, his expression firm. "And neither of you are losers or crybabies. Now, help me with this laundry, and no more fighting."
The boys looked at each other, then at Sephiroth, and then back at each other. "Fiiiiine," Kadaj grumbled.
Yazoo nodded in agreement, still looking annoyed. "Yeah, fine."
The two of them walked over to the pile of laundry and began sorting it into piles. Kadaj was still mumbling under his breath, clearly not happy about having to do housework.
Sephiroth watched as his boys began sorting the laundry, Kadaj being the less enthusiastic of the two. He knew they would complain at first, but hopefully, they would learn the value of housework in due time.
As the boys worked, Sephiroth thought about his days as a SOLDIER. Life had been much simpler then, with nothing but missions and battles to worry about. Sure, it was a hard life, but at least it made sense. But now... now he was a househusband, a role he never thought he would find himself in.
Sephiroth's thoughts were interrupted by a soft sob coming from the doorway. He looked up to see Loz standing there, his face red and his pants noticeably wet.
Sephiroth's expression softened immediately as he noticed Loz, his youngest son, standing in the doorway with tears running down his face. He immediately stood up and made his way over to him.
"Loz, what's wrong?" he asked gently, crouching down to meet his son's watery gaze.
Loz sniffled, his small body shaking with sobs. "I-I had an accident," he mumbled, his voice barely audible.
Kadaj and Yazoo looked up from the laundry they were folding, their faces registering surprise and then amusement at their brother's predicament. "Ha! You peed yourself again?!" Kadaj laughed, nudging Yazoo.
Yazoo smirked, "You're still just a baby, huh?"
Sephiroth shot Kadaj and Yazoo a stern look, silently scolding them for their reaction. They should not be laughing at their brother's accident.
He turned his attention back to Loz, his voice softening even more. "It's okay, son. Accidents happen. Let's go get you cleaned up."
He gently took Loz's small hand and led him away from his brothers, leaving them to continue sorting laundry.
Kadaj and Yazoo watched as their father led Loz away, their laughter not dying down.
Loz clung to Sephiroth's hand as they walked, his body still trembling. He was so ashamed of his accident. why do his brothers make fun of him? Is his father angry at him?
Sephiroth felt Loz's small hand trembling in his larger one, sensing his son's shame and fear. He knew how important it was to handle this situation delicately.
"Loz," Sephiroth said gently, his voice firm but kind, "it's okay. Really, accidents happen. No one is angry with you."
He knelt down to meet Loz's eyes, his expression earnest. "I understand it's embarrassing, but you don't need to worry. We'll make sure you get cleaned up and fresh clothes, and everything will be alright."
Loz looked up at his father, big tear drops still rolling down his cheeks. He sniffled and nodded, slowly starting to calm down a bit. But he still couldn't shake off the feeling of being a nuisance.
"I-I'm sorry," Loz mumbled, his voice small. "I didn't mean to. I don't know why I keep having accidents."
Sephiroth's heart ached as he heard the shame in his young son's voice. He didn't blame Loz for having accidents, it wasn't his fault after all. He knew his son couldn't help it.
"Loz, listen to me," Sephiroth said, his tone gentle but firm. "You don't need to apologize. But we need to find a solution. Can you tell me how it happened?"
Loz looked down at the floor, his cheeks turning red. "I-I was playing... And I... I just couldn't hold it," he admitted in a whisper. His lower lip trembled, feeling embarrassed and ashamed at the lack of control he has over his bladder.
Sephiroth nodded, understanding the situation better now. "I see. So you had an accident because you were too caught up in playing to notice when you needed to go," he said calmly.He gently placed a hand on Loz's shoulder, meeting his gaze. "It's okay. But you need to pay attention to your body. When you feel the urge to go, don't wait. Just pause your game and go to the bathroom. Okay?"
Loz nodded, his head still hanging low. He felt so embarrassed. "Y-Yeah, okay," he mumbled, still too ashamed to meet his father's gaze. Kadaj and Yazoo peaked around the corner.
Sephiroth glanced up at the corner where Kadaj and Yazoo were peaking and he shot them another stern look, silently reminding them not to tease Loz.
He turned his attention back to Loz, his expression warm and reassuring. "Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it. Now let's go get you cleaned up."
Loz nodded again, his face still red with embarrassment. He held onto his father's hand as they continued walking towards the bathroom.
Kadaj and Yazoo quickly retreated from their spying spot.Sephiroth led Loz into the bathroom and guided him over to the tub, turning on the water and making sure it was the right temperature.
"Okay, Loz, you wait here for a moment. I'll go get you some clean clothes."
Loz nodded obediently and sat down on the edge of the tub. He tried to stop the tears from streaming down his cheeks, but they stubbornly continued.
Kadaj and Yazoo appeared in the doorway to the bathroom, holding a clean set of clothes. Kadaj handed them to Sephiroth, both of them looking sheepish.
Sephiroth raised an eyebrow at Kadaj and Yazoo's sudden presence, but he graciously accepted the clean clothes. He could tell that both of them felt remorse for their earlier behavior towards Loz.
"Thanks, boys," he said, his tone gentler now. He knelt back down to Loz's level. "Are you okay, Loz? Still feeling upset?"
Loz looked up at his father and nodded, his little body still shaking slightly with sobs. Kadaj and Yazoo stood a little awkwardly off to the side, their expressions now full of guilt and shame. They knew they had been making fun of their youngest brother but now, seeing him so upset, they felt like jerks.
Sephiroth's gaze flickered between the three of them, noticing the shift in Kadaj and Yazoo's behavior. It seemed like they had learned their lesson, seeing the effect their teasing had on their youngest brother.
He placed the clean clothes on the counter and then gently turned back to Loz. "Loz, take a few deep breaths," he instructed, rubbing soothing circles on the boy's back.
Loz sniffled and did his best to take deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. The tears slowly stopped falling from his eyes and his shaking slowed down a bit.
Meanwhile, Kadaj and Yazoo fidgeted nervously. They didn't know what to say, feeling guilty for their earlier behavior.
Sephiroth continued to comfort Loz until his sobs settled down to sniffles, his breathing becoming slower and more even. "Loz, hop in the tub and wash off, we'll be right outside." Seeing that his son was calming, he turned to Kadaj and Yazoo.
"Boys," he said, his tone calm yet firm, "can I talk to you for a moment?"
Loz nodded and began undressing, slowly climbing into the tub.
Kadaj and Yazoo looked at each other, a nervous look in their eyes. They knew they were in trouble. They followed Sephiroth out of the bathroom, closing the door behind them, leaving Loz to have some privacy.
Once the bathroom door was closed, Sephiroth turned to Kadaj and Yazoo, his eyes meeting theirs with a stern look.
"Boys, what you did earlier was not acceptable. Teasing and laughing at your brother while he was having a hard time is not how we treat each other in this family," he said, his voice firm but not angry.
Kadaj and Yazoo looked down at the ground, shame washing over them. They knew they were wrong and that they had hurt Loz's feelings.
Kadaj spoke up first, his voice small. "We're sorry, dad... We didn't mean to make Loz feel bad... We were just... messing around."
Sephiroth nodded, his expression softening at Kadaj's words. "Doesn't matter, what you did was wrong either way. Loz is your brother, and you should treat him with kindness and respect. Do you understand?” He looked at Yazoo next, silently urging him to speak.
Yazoo looked up, meeting Sephiroth's gaze, his expression still full of guilt. "Yeah... We understand. We shouldn't have teased Loz like that, it was mean and wrong," he agreed, his voice also small.
Sephiroth nodded once more, satisfied with Yazoo's response. "Good. I expect better behavior from you two. You're brothers, you're a team. You should lift each other up, not tear each other down."
He paused for a moment, looking at both of them. "And I expect you to apologize to Loz as well. Can you do that?"
Kadaj and Yazoo both nodded, their faces full of remorse. "Yeah... We'll apologize. We promise," they mumbled in unison.
Just then, the bathroom door opened and Loz stepped out, his hair still a little wet, but wearing clean clothes.
Sephiroth smiled as he saw Loz walk out of the bathroom, clean and dressed. "Feeling better, Loz?" he asked, gently tousling the boy's damp hair.
Loz nodded, a small smile on his face. He was still embarrassed about his accident, but the bath had helped him feel a little better.
Kadaj and Yazoo, feeling guilty, approached their youngest brother. "Hey, Loz," Kadaj began, his voice sheepish. "We're sorry for making fun of you earlier."
Yazoo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we were being jerks. You don't deserve to be teased like that."
Loz looked up at his older brothers, his cheeks still flushed from the crying earlier. He could see the remorse in their eyes and knew they were being sincere.
"It's okay," Loz mumbled, his voice still small. "I forgive you."
Kadaj and Yazoo breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Loz was forgiving them so quickly.
Sephiroth watched the scene unfolding, feeling proud of all three of his sons. It warmed his heart to see them apologize to each other and make amends.
He placed a gentle hand on both Kadaj and Yazoo's shoulders and spoke up. “See, that wasn't so hard, was it? When we make mistakes, it's important to apologize and try to do better next time.”
Kadaj and Yazoo nodded, their shoulders relaxing under their father's touch. They knew that they had done wrong and had learned their lesson.
"Yeah... We'll do better next time," Kadaj chimed in.Yazoo nodded in agreement. "And we promise to be kinder to Loz from now on."
Loz, feeling more like himself now, looked up at his brothers with a small smile. He could tell they were sincere in their apologies.
"Thanks," he said, his voice soft. "I appreciate it."
Sephiroth smiled at the scene, glad to see that his sons had made amends. He ruffled Loz's hair gently before addressing them all. "Now that that's settled, how about you help me get dinner ready before your mother gets home?"
Kadaj and Yazoo both perked up at the mention of their mother. They always wanted to make her happy and help out.
"Yeah, we can help," Kadaj exclaimed, a smile on his face.
Yazoo nodded in agreement. "We'll help you get everything ready for when Mom gets home."
Loz, still a bit embarrassed, mumbled a quiet agreement to help as well. "I want to see mommy happy."
Sephiroth chuckled at their eagerness, the boys always enjoyed spending time with their mom. "Alright then, let's get to work," he said, giving Loz a comforting pat on the head.
Over the next hour, the kitchen was bustling with activity as the four of them worked together to prepare dinner. From peeling vegetables to chopping lettuce, they all worked in sync, each one contributing their part to make the meal just right.
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz immediately recognized a sound, their attention shifting to the front door.
"Mommy's home!" Loz exclaimed, running out of the kitchen towards the front door. Kadaj and Yazoo quickly followed, both of them equally excited to see their mother.
Sephiroth smiled at their enthusiasm, knowing how much his sons missed their mother while she was at work. He also missed her, of course, but it amused him to see the excitement in his boys.
He finished washing his hands quickly with some soap before heading towards the front door, where the sound of the boys' chatter was already getting louder.
By the time Sephiroth reached the front door, Loz and his brothers were already swarming around (Y/n), all of them talking at once. She was at the door, pulling off her shoes and taking off her coat, bombarded by the three boys.
"Mommy!" "We missed you!" "We made dinner!"
(Y/n) couldn't help but smile as her sons surrounded her, their excitement and energy practically overwhelming her. She knelt down, trying her best to give each of them the attention they wanted, patting their heads and pulling them all in for a tight hug.
"I missed you all too," she said, her voice warm and loving. "You guys have been busy, huh? Making dinner with your father?"
"Yeah!" Yazoo exclaimed, his eyes shining with excitement. "We've been helping Dad cook. We peeled the vegetables and chopped the lettuce."
Kadaj chimed in, "And we made sure everything was perfect for you, Mom!"
Loz spoke up next, "We even got your favorite dessert for after dinner."
Sephiroth approached the doorway, watching with a smile as his wife interacted with their sons. He leaned against the wall, enjoying the scene before him. It was moments like this that made him grateful for the family he had.
"They were all very eager to help," Sephiroth said, his voice soft yet amused. "Especially when they heard you were on your way home."
(Y/n) looked up at Sephiroth, her smile widening at the sight of him. "I can see that," she said, her hand still in Kadaj's hair.
She chuckled, imagining the antics they had gotten up to in the kitchen, and the mess that must have been left behind. "I hope they didn't cause too much trouble for you," she added, her voice teasing.
Sephiroth shook his head, a smirk playing at his lips. "Not too much trouble. Just the usual amount of chaos," he replied, his voice equally cheeky.
"Hey! We didn't cause that much trouble!" Kadaj protested, pouting a bit. Loz and Yazoo nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, we were just having fun!" Yazoo chimed in.
"We wanted to make you happy, Mommy," Loz added, a pleading look in his puppy-dog eyes.
(Y/n) chuckled at their protests, her expression soft and warm. "I'm sure you had fun," she said, tousling Loz's hair affectionately. "But I know you can be quite the troublemakers."
She stood up from her crouched position, looking at her sons with a loving smile. "But I appreciate your efforts to make me happy. You all did a great job."
Kadaj and Yazoo beamed at her words, preening under her praise. Sephiroth moved closer, wrapping his arm around (Y/n)'s waist as he spoke, "They were on their best behavior. Well, as best as possible for them, that is,” he teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Loz, not wanting to be left out, tugged on (Y/n)'s shirt, "Hold me, mommy!"
(Y/n) laughed, leaning into Sephiroth's touch as he wrapped his arm around her. She turned her attention to Loz, who was pulling on her shirt.
"Of course, my little one," she said, scooping Loz up into her arms and holding him close. "Did you miss me that much?"
Loz nodded vigorously, snuggling into his mother's embrace. "Mhmm," he mumbled, burying his face in her shoulder.
Sephiroth chuckled, looking at the spectacle with a smile. "Where's my attention?" he said, his tone lighthearted. "I'd like that kiss you owe me."
(Y/n) rolled her eyes playfully, a small grin on her lips. "Oh, I see how it is," she teased, holding Loz a little more secure in her arms. "You want some special treatment too, huh?"
She turned to face Sephiroth, meeting his eyes with a smirk. "Can't a woman hug her child without being interrupted by her husband's demands?"
Sephiroth shrugged, feigning innocence. "I can't help it if I want a little affection from my beautiful wife," he said, his eyes sparkling with playful mischief. "And the boys have been hogging you ever since you got home."
(Y/n) laughed, the sound warm and sweet. "You're such a drama king," she teased, shaking her head. "But I suppose I can spare a moment to give you some attention."
She leaned in, keeping Loz balanced in her arms, and gave Sephiroth a quick, playful kiss. "There, happy now?"
Sephiroth chuckled, pretending to pout. "That was barely a kiss," he complained, the corners of his mouth twitching with a smile. "I think I deserve a little more than that."
Loz, still in (Y/n)'s arms, let out a soft giggle watching his parents banter.(Y/n) chuckled again, rolling her eyes fondly. "Oh, you're not going to let me get away with just a quick peck, are you?"
She shifted Loz in her arms, trying to balance him while still giving Sephiroth a proper kiss. She leaned in again, her lips meeting his in a more lingering kiss, holding it a few seconds longer before pulling back with a smile. "Is that satisfactory, you needy man?"
Sephiroth's eyes lit up with a satisfied gleam as she kissed him more properly this time. "Much better," he said with a smirk, pulling her a little closer against him by her waist.
Loz, squeezed between his parents' embrace, wriggled and protested, "Eww, gross!" Kadaj and Yazoo laughed, before darting off into the dinning room.
(Y/n) couldn't help but join in the laughter, chuckling as Loz protested being squished between her and Sephiroth. She ruffled his hair affectionately before turning her attention back to her husband.
"You're insatiable," she teased, her words lighthearted. "You have a one-track mind, you know that?"
She glanced towards the dining room, where the other two boys had darted off to. "Should we go check on them before they cause any mayhem?"
Sephiroth laughed at her comment. "You're one to talk," he replied, a smirk still playing on his lips. "And yes, we should probably make sure they're not ransacking the kitchen or starting a food fight."
He took a step back, his hand still on her waist, and nodded towards the dining room. "Lead the way, my dear."
(Y/n) smiled at Sephiroth's response, shaking her head in mock annoyance. She moved with him towards the dining room, still holding Loz in her arms.
She loved her family.

WIP Wednesday
👀👀 hi I have Stormcloak brainrot
Gonna tag @umbracirrus @mavariel @thequeenofthewinter @madamefluffnstuff @vivifriend
@aureli-us @oblivions-dawn and anyone else that wants to do this feel free to tag me okay?
Dyrvina walked along the wall. Fog covered the inlet and bay, making the waters more treacherous than usual. Between the rain and fog, Dyrvina had a hard time catching any ship setting sail. And she could tell snow would be moving in soon.
Dyrvina heard yelling below her. The training yard stood below her. Several soldiers practiced against the dummies and few sparred with each other.
She heard Galmar screaming at them. Dyrvina could never be a soldier. She lacked that discipline. She started to walk away when she spotted Ulfric join the chaos below. He took off his coat and rolled the sleeves to his tunic.
Dyrvina leaned against the wall and watched. After a few minutes, the spar sessions went from one on one to Ulfric versus three of his soldiers.
Dyrvina wanted to get a closer view. But she hadn’t a clue how to get down. And she feared she would miss the fight.
She spotted a guard nearby and asked him. He directed her to a flight of stairs in a tower. She went down the stairs as fast as her boots let her. She pushed the door open and found herself in the training yard.
Dyrvina sat on the stairs and watched. While his soldiers tired out, Ulfric did not. He simply took off his tunic and continued.
Dyrvina’s attention was drawn away from Ulfric when someone sat down next to her. Galmar. He leaned back on the stairs.
“People say he’s grown lazy due to becoming Jarl. He fights the war from inside his Palace. A coward.”
Dyrvina looked back at the fight. “They would be wrong. I bet he could take on my grandfather’s entire guard force. Without the axe.” Dyrvina smiled. “He is anything but lazy or a coward.”
“Oh?”
“I’ve hardly seen them train. Not like this. But…. They’re also not fighting a war…. I mean…. Not like this.” Dyrvina frowned. She sighed. She went back to watching Ulfric. She watched the way he moved around the younger men with finesse and grace. The spar came to a stop. Ulfric stood there catching his breath. Dyrvina wanted to walk over—
“Here.” Galmar handed Dyrvina the Jarl’s tunic.
Dyrvina felt her cheeks burn. She took the tunic quite aggressively when she stood. She walked over with his tunic. She watched a bead of sweat trail down his back across his scars. She cleared her throat and stretched out her arm. Sweat beaded across the coarse hair on his chest. She stared for a moment.
Dyrvina gained the attention of the other soldiers and not just the Jarl. As soon as Ulfric grabbed the tunic, she turned around before he could say anything. She gave Galmar a glare that could kill and slammed the door to the stairs behind her. She covered her ears as she heard jeers and whistles.
Why did she do that?
Dyrvina walked up the stairs. She peered over the edge. Ulfric stood next to Galmar, clothed now. Galmar had a grin on his face. Dyrvina clenched her jaw. She found her way inside and to her room.
Dyrvina flung herself into the bed and groaned into a pillow. She cocooned herself into the blankets.
“My Lady?” She heard her maid walk in and shut the door. “Is everything alright?”
“That stupid general set me up to be embarrassed…. Why did I do that?” She groaned again. “Now they all think I like him!”
Maera sat on the bed. “What happened?”
Dyrvina sat up. “I was watching the Jarl spar with the soldiers. When he was finished, his General handed me his shirt. So naturally I went to give it to him.”
Maera opened her mouth. “Ah. The soldiers made a scene.” She smiled softly. “Well, don’t worry too much about it. They’ll probably forget by tomorrow.” Maera patted Dyrvina’s head. “Have you eaten? Why don’t I get you something to eat?”
Dyrvina nodded. “Aye.”

🌈 + jack + red 😁😁🥰
eee yay my new love 🥰 (with an appearance by my current hyperfixation we love to see it)
warnings: minor injury, blood, not even close to a drabble (I cut out quite a bit, full Jack fic coming soon)
Tumblr media
Your digital signature has been accepted, the hands shook and photos taken. Starting next year, you'll be driving full time for Mercedes. You're still in a daze as you make your way through the motorhome to George's room to tell him the news that no one else can know. His face creases in a delighted grin and his hug nearly cracks a few ribs.
"We're going to cause so much trouble next year," he says, still grinning as he takes a selfie with you to send to Carmen, who you know will be calling you soon to scream with excitement. No one's supposed to know until the official announcement during Singapore weekend, so of course everyone already knows, and after your call with Carmen you're smiling and nodding to everyone congratulating you as you make your way to the Alpine garage.
Esteban's excitement matches George's, and you agree to get drinks together soon with the gang before crossing the garage to where Jack's lying on his back under the car. Mechanics are with him and you lean against the wall to wait patiently while they talk about a setup for the coming race. One thing you've always admired about Jack is his serious intent to know everything about the cars inside and out. The first time you met him he'd been reassembling his new kart and had given you a toothy grin while explaining he had to know how it worked to know how to make it work. You'd sat next to him and asked him what one part did and he'd slammed his finger with his wrench.
You smile now at the memory of him, lanky and grinning like a dork. Your crush developed immediately, and even now after all these years you still have a crush on the man. You blink and the lanky kid is gone, replaced by a man with the same toothy grin unfolding his tall frame.
"There's my girl."
Augh. My girl. Those words will never not make you grin and blush and feel like a princess in a fairy tale getting her happily ever after. You push away from the wall, eyes on him, your spatial awareness completely gone because your only focus is on him, your very own Flynn Rider Eugene Fitzherbert. "Hey babe, I--"
Your grand announcement is cut off by a very un-princesslike curse word as you trip over a mechanic's foot. That spectacular superhuman reaction time that Toto loves to tout when he's talking about you? On vacation while you pitch forward, your arm catching on the car's rear wing.
"Cocksucking, motherfucking - fuck," you groan once Jack's helped you upright. Your arm feels numb but you can feel the blood already seeping through the sleeve of your shirt.
"No no no don't look," Jack murmurs but you're already twisting in his hold, stretching out your arm to see the crimson stain spreading.
"It's just a scratch," you promise weakly.
Ten minutes later you're in the medical center, watching the towel Jack had pressed to the cut slowly turn red as the team gets everything ready. It's more than a cut, you're gonna need stitches, and Jack sits next to you, pale and wringing his hands.
"When we get married I'm wrapping you in bubble wrap," he mumbles, rubbing at the drying blood on his fingers.
"It's fine," you insist. "I've had worse..."
He groans, looking even paler. "Don't remind me, please."
You're fine. He's a wreck. It's always like this. When he's had a minor injury you were the one fretting like a mother hen. When you had covid he was coming up with all sorts of home remedies to take care of every symptom.
"If you're this bad over a little cut how are you gonna be when I have a baby?" The words come out unfiltered and he slumps back with a whimper.
"We're adopting," he manages.
You can only giggle, startling the medics as they begin stitching your wound. "Deal."

Magical Intrusion | Chapter 1
!NSFW! male companions x cisfem reader This chapter contains: Gale Dekarios, sexual fantasies
Gale tries to create some magical relief for his lonely nights
~~~
Everything is in place. Gale turns the padded sleeve in his hands, tugging at the seams that close it off at about 7 inches, then turning it again to inspect the entrance, padded fuller to the point of stiffness. He delves two fingers in, pleased with the water repellent spell he had cast on the silk lining. Everything seems to be in order.
Now, the tricky part.
He had been tinkering with the set of spells for the past several tenday, to various degrees of success. But now, Gale feels that they're ready to be put to proper action.
A warming enchantment goes first, and works perfectly. A water creation spell now, with a few tweaks that makes the liquid more oiled and viscous. That goes well also.
Gale stops for a moment, heart hammering and mouth far too dry. This last charm is far more complex than the other two, and far more likely to go awry. He has to do this perfectly, elst the rest of his work will have been for naught. It had taken him nearly the whole trip to get the supplies he needed, and he doesn't know if he has the heart to start again if this goes wrong.
He takes a deep breath and places his hands over the makeshift sleeve as he begins reciting the enchantment. A blue light spreads in his finger tips and transfers to the material, casting a faint glow. He pictures in his mind a fantasy that he's harbored ever since he met you, leaving no lurid detail unthought. The grip of your cunt, the flutter of it, how it would feel and taste and smell. He channels all of his desire into the object, your name chanting in his head as he feels volatile energy start to crackle at his fingertips.
Gale?
Your voice cuts through his thoughts and at first he thinks he's manifested it, but then he feels the familiar prodding of another mind against his. The spell in his hands dies out instantly, afterimages of the blue light dancing in his now dark vision. He quickly shuts his mind to you, shooting back his own mental words.
Is something the matter?
No, I just thought I heard you say my name.
Gale wipes a bead of perspiration from his forehead, trying not to let his panic consume him.
Through the tadpole?
No, through your tent.
Oh gods, how embarrassing. With you being his camping neighbor, he should have been more cautious....He thinks quickly on how to rectify the situation.
My apologies. I was reading a rather engaging book...I suppose I may have muttered a few words out loud.
I figured as much. Just wanted to be sure.
Of course. Do try to get some rest.
You as well. See you in the morning.
He feels your presence slip from his mind, and only then does he allow himself to breathe--quietly, of course, so as you don't hear him struggling from your laying spot nearby.
The enchantment...he has no idea if it was a success or not, and he's not brave enough to light a candle and see if it did, rattled as he is.
With his heart still beating too fast for comfort, Gale takes the sleeve and tucks it securely into his pack before laying out on his bedroll.
He'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if his hard work has produced any fruit. At the very least, it'll give him a chance to set up camp a bit farther from the rest of his companions.
Gale has waited this long to try out his little contraption....waiting one day more will be easy.
NEXT CHAPTER (coming soon!)
A/N: this is just a short set up, all the real juicy stuff will be in the next chapter ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ (shoutout to anyone who knows where this is goingggggg)
👏 Fellas,
We ALL like a Man in uniform. But is your Man safe in his uniform?
I present to you: Personal protective equipment for construction specialized for the Man of enlightened individuals: Music Man.
the PPE was specifically for construction because construction has the inherently sexiest PPE.
Music Men come in a lot of shapes and sizes and their needs and restrictions change with all of their forms. However, there are many overlaps:
Hard hats: All of the Music Men wear hats. Stupid dinky little clown hats, that is! Their hats couldn't protect their view from sunlight, let alone falling debris. I highly doubt the Music Men actually have any important components inside their heads specifically, but it stands to be protected.
Long sleeved, fitted shirts: All of the music men have exposed arm joints, exposed joints that shrapnel, debris, dirt, rocks - just about anything! - would love to get into and completely lock up your Music Man's limb. To prevent this, although usually OSHA can give leeway with short-sleeved shirts, long sleeved shirts are always recommended and I feel like in this case it is mandatory.
Hi-Vis Vest: 2 of the 395 Music Men are very large. However, ALL Music Men, due to their horror game heritage, are very sneaky, and to counter this, their dress code mandates a hi-vis vest, ESPECIALLY to the 393 "wind up" individuals who, due to their stature, are not very visible.
Safety Gloves: All music men have gloves, and while unlike fanon they all seem to be rubber or some kind of latex that could be protective, their designs were primarily decorative and to be safe, their gloves have padded undersides in order to reduce cuts.
Without further Ado, here are the music men's PPE particularities.
Homo Sapiens' societal courtesies have instructed us to look towards the face of a subject, and when you did, you may have noticed that Music Man has his cameras visible, like a whore.
Much like the situation with the gloves, the safetiness-level of likely decorative aspects of the Music Man's design is ambiguous, and to prevent ambiguity, Music Man and DJ Music Man have replaced their tinted-black eye-lenses with clear, polycarbonate lenses in order to withstand possible debris flying into them. Creepy, but doesn't it make that just make it easier to gaze into his eyes?
Music man, unfortunately, lacks child-bearing hips, and the reason why this comes up is that the lack of a hip makes it hard to put pants on. Pants that are all too needed for an individual whom most of his debris-philic joints are below the shoulders. To combat this, I have given him and the Wind-Up Music Men 8-legged overalls.
Finally, Safety Socks. To be frank with you, this isn't entirely for protection, Music Man's plunger feet would likely take the impact of a vehicle running over them just fine (though the socks would help), the socks are primarily to discourage climbing on his own.
Music Man (Homo Mousike) is a species of animatronic spider that evolved from a basal vent-climbing species, and while he does still have the adaptations for climbing, they have evolved towards more terrestrial adaptations that might endanger Music Man should he fall; Music Man is listed as a Heavy Animatronic and would be in great danger if he were to climb on his own, for if he fell, he would probably implode. If the situation does call for him to climb, Music Man can wear a harness and be hooked up to a fall arrest system just like the rest of us.
I don't care about the infinitely diverse levels of facial injury that the Wind-Up Music Men can have. All of you wear a full-cover helmet, now.
The Wind-Up Music Men were all chucked into a fire and it has absolutely ruined all of their faces: their carapaces or/and internal mechanisms have faced some level of either being melted, torn off, or both, which is why I am not letting any of you motherfuckers have a bare face.
Along with a hi-vis vest, I feel like it's in their best interest to extenuate their visibility with a removable, dinky little flag on their hard hats. It can be plastic or fabric, depending on what level of fire or electrical hazard their work entails. However due to trauma I think it's a good guess they won't be working with fire anytime soon.
The Wind-Up Music Men actually retain the privilege to be able to climb freely, without the need of a safety harness. They seem to be able to withstand falling/landing from incredibly high heights without taking much damage at all, like how you can chuck a squirrel from the empire state building and it'll probably live.
Finally, DJ Music Man. Yes, he still has to wear a vest even though he's the most visible thing on the site.
He has a face mask! DJ Music Man's default mouth position is with his teeth open, and due to the size of his mouth, it is very easy for shrapnel to get in and lodge itself right into the LED display inside his mouth. To prevent this from happening, I gave him a muzzle.
DJ Music Man is completely prohibited from climbing any sort of structure for any reason whatsoever. His habitat inside of the Pizzaplex was built to facilitate his arboreal lifestyle, but construction projects were not, especially not when the structure in question isn't even finished!
I don't know if there's a million tiny little hairs on the bottom of DJMM's gloves that facilitate his climbing, but I still replaced them with safety gloves to discourage this.
Finally, headphones. Every Music Man could change their internal microphone sensitivity, and even if they couldn't, prolonged loud noises are harmful and annoying only to the original Music Man. DJMM just wears them to have a sense of style.
