Hunted
Pairing: Liam Dunbar x reader
Warnings: None
Chapter: 5.09
Liam leaves your side and storms towards his alpha, “What do you mean no?”
“Liam, look at her,” Scott says quietly. “She’s too weak. It will kill her. Plus, we don’t know what attacked her; it could be something that’s already started to turn her.”
Your attention is drawn to Theo, who starts cleaning some of the sweat off your forehead, “I’ve got a confession to make. I found out who your biological dad was, which was pretty easy considering how hard your mom tried to hide the truth from you.”
You give him a pleading look with your eyes, mentally begging him to somehow end this. “You were right, btw. The name you scored off your list was in fact your dad's name.”
No.
“You promised!” Liam yells. “You promised me you’d do everything you could.”
“Which is why I’m not going to do something I think is going to kill her. There has to be…” Scott begins to gasp for breath. “There has to be…”
Theo winks at you before putting on a concerned voice and giving Scott his inhaler. “Guys,” he says, squeezing your hand. “We need to do something, otherwise she’s not going to make it.”
You awake with a burning pain shooting through your body. You feel as if your heart and head are about to explode at the same time. The inside of your ears start to hurt when multiple alarms start to go off at once.
“She is awake! She’s awake! Mason, go get Liam now!”
You open your eyes to see Melissa McCall standing over you, adjusting one of the IV drips. She smiles at you brightly, “It's working. You just need to keep fighting, okay?” When you try to speak, she frowns and says, “No, no, honey, you've got to save your strength.”
“He's…” Your voice comes out extremely hoarse and crackly. “Is..." in…”, you start to gasp for breath.
“Shh, shh, please don't say anything else.”
You ignore her instructions and continue trying to talk. “Theo... Scott... danger!”
She leans in closer to you, looking alarmed at hearing the word danger right after her son's name. “He's... he's…” Tears spill from your eyes as the pain becomes more intense, but you refuse to give up trying to warn her. “He... he...He’s going to kill Scott.”
Melissa drops whatever’s in her hands and runs from the room. Seconds later, everything goes black.
Your eyes flutter open and the first thing you spot is a figure slouched in a chair with her head resting near your feet. You can only see the back of them, but you already know who it is.
“Derek?”
He slowly sits up and turns to face you. He looks petrified and exhausted, “y/n…”
“Lulana, I don’t like being called that. Kate was the only one who ever really called me by my first name.”
An uneasy feeling settled in your chest. Why did he come? And was he really your dad?
You try to clear your throat but end up coughing instead. Derek picks up the cup of water from the table and brings it to your lips. You take a drink from it before continuing. “Uh thanks, are you?”
He answers before you have the chance to finish the questions. “They ran a DNA test, and it’s a match.”
Your mind feels as if it’s going into overdrive. Derek Hale was your real father, but the man who raised you as his own was recently killed by your mom. That, paired with all the other shit that was going on, would give anyone a headache.
“Why did you come?”
He sits down on the foot of the bed, “Scott called me.”
“He’s alive?”
Derek nods. Tears of relief fall from the corner of your eyes.
“I didn’t know.” His voice was so low it was hardly audible. “I never knew Kate had a daughter until I saw you that day in Mexico.”
“Believe it or not, I’d made a list of all the potential fathers and removed your name from it because I didn’t actually think Kate would go anywhere near a werewolf.”
“I know. Stiles showed me the list in his room.”
“He just showed you his crime board?”
He shrugs, “I might have twisted his arm a bit.”
You had no idea if he was joking or not. Stiles referred to Derek as a ‘sour wolf,’ and he was very aggressive. You wondered if he’d always been like that or if what Kate did made him that way. hybrid. Theo’s voice echoed in your ears, and you knew what he meant. You were a Hale and an Argent. The thought of coming from a proud family of hunters amused you, and you let out a small laugh thinking about it.
“What’s so funny?” Derek asks, confused.
“The Argent family really is one big joke. Our name literally means silver, but yet we can’t stay away from werewolves.”
He stared at you blankly, “Your boyfriend has been waiting outside for days. He hardly ever leaves.”
“Days? How long was I out for?”
“Three days. Chris was here but he needed to leave. He said it was urgent and that he would be back with help.”
You sigh, “is Liam outside now?”
“No, but your other friends are,” he answers bluntly. “Do you want me to get them?”
“How long are you staying for?”
“However long you want me here for.”
The Calavera Kate, Hunters.
A sinking realization presses on your gut, “I don’t want you putting your life in danger by staying here.”
He lets out a soft chuckle, “I’m not the priority anymore.”
The moment he opens the door and gives a nod for the others to come in, Stiles practically shoves him out of the way to get to you. Derek lets out a low growl, clearly irritated when Stiles pulls in for a tight hug.
"Seriously? Are we doing the overprotective dad act already?” Stiles asks sarcastically.
Not finding him funny anymore, you hit him in the arm lightly. Your eyes light up when Mason walks into the room carrying a tray of food for you. “I knew you'd be hungry,” he says as he places the tray on the table beside you. “You had us so scared, Lu, I honestly thought you were a goner.”
Your eyes continually shift between your two friends, Derek and the doorway, as they explain that Theo had been working for the dreadful doctors. It surprised you how natural it felt having Derek, occasionally chiming in. They fill you in on Hayden dying and coming back to life, but each time you ask where Liam was during all that time, they avoid the questions or change the subject.
“Where’s Liam?” You ask.
“He’s coming by later,” Mason says, faking a smile. “I called him. He was so excited that you were finally awake; he almost cried.”
You look between your friends and notice how shifty they have suddenly become. “What aren’t you guys telling me?”
Stiles looks hesitant, “he’s coming later because…”
“He’s coming later because he can’t be around Scott at the moment,” Derek says interrupting.
“Yip, thanks for that,” Stiles says, giving him a thumbs up. “Now your answer is going to lead to more questions that we can’t answer.”
You become irritated quickly as they go back and forth on how much they should tell you. Suddenly, the door swings open and Liam runs over to you. He hugs you tightly. “I’m so sorry, Lulana,” he sobs. “I had no idea Theo was the one who attacked you. I trusted the wrong person and almost got you killed.”
You can see the rage of emotions on Derek's face, and notice the daggers Stiles is giving your boyfriend as well.
You cup the side of his face, “we all fell for his act.”
“You didn’t,” Stiles chimes in. “You warned me about him. “You figured it out before the rest of us." He stands up from the chair he’s in, “I need to get going. Scott and I are going to Mexico.” He motions for Mason to follow him and taps Derek on the shoulder, “Let’s give them a moment to talk.”
Reluctantly, Derek stands and glares directly at your boyfriend, who is shaking with nerves beside you. “I will be right outside.”
He slams the door shut behind him. You brush it off and look at Liam, “Where have you been?”
He avoids your gaze, “I went for a walk because Scott was here. He doesn’t want to be around me right now.”
“Why not?”
“Because I... I tried to kill him.”

Short Stack - Stiles Stilinski x fem!reader
@nyotamalfoy : So, I was thinking, could you write a Stiles Stilinski x reader? Like the reader is short and the pack just loves to make fun of her (all in good sense) and could it include Derek too?
-----------
The problem with hanging out with werewolves wasn't that they were werewolves. It wasn't that that they could potentially lose control and kill you (although that was a concern on the full moon). No, the problem was that they were all giants. No one was under 5'10. And being someone who was considered a normal height, maybe shorter, (Y/N) was the butt end of everyone's’ jokes.
Before the whole werewolf thing happened, it was usually just a joke here and there from Scott and your boyfriend, Stiles. But Stiles knew better than to say a joke more than once.
But now there were a gaggle of freakishly tall individuals around her all the time and they loved to point it out too. They all had their own nicknames for her, even Derek. The only person who could even understand her situation was Lydia, who was a whopping five-three. But no one made fun of Lydia about her height, mostly because Lydia was un-make-fun-of-able.
Lydia and (Y/N) were sitting on the bleachers, watching a Beacon Hills scrimmage. It was one of the last few games that Scott would be coaching since he was going to college full time.
Next thing you know, Liam and Theo walked past them, playfully shoving each other.
“Sup Mighty Mouse.” Liam smirked as they walked by. (Y/N) sighed loudly in frustration. Lydia glared after the two and huffed.
“Why do you let them do that?”
“Because I’m not intimidating like you?” Lydia opened her mouth to retort, but closed her mouth and thought a moment.
“Okay.” She shook her head, “Yeah. But still? So what if you’re short? I accomplished a lot being short.”
“Like what?”
“Being popular and surviving this hell hole of a town.” She said as if it were obvious. (Y/N) nodded after a moment. Maybe it was obvious. Being human in this supernatural town meant you a little underwhelming. You feel alone in your little world.
-
After the game was over, Lydia and (Y/N) were standing around, waiting for Scott and Stiles to get done with the team meeting.
“Alright, see you at morning practice, guys!” Scott waved to the players and made their way to the two.
“What’d ya think?” Stiles came around, wrapping an arm around (Y/N)’s shoulders.
“It was a great game.” She smiled.
“Sure you could see over the people in front of you?” Scott joked. Stiles chuckled, but dropped the smile when he saw the look on his girlfriend’s face. Lydia glared, smacking Scott on the shoulder.
That was last straw.
“That’s it. I’m done.” She shrugged Stiles arm off of her shoulders, making her way to her car and driving away. Was this dramatic? Absolutely! But everyone she knew was in the running for Miss Drama Queen Beacon Hills, the winner would be crowned by Peter Hale.
(Y/N) was just so sick and tired of all of them making fun of her. Sure, it was all in good fun. But all the time? Enough was enough.
The cliffs were a good place to go when you needed to think things over. Stiles had called a few times, voicemails apologizing with Lydia in the background telling him how dumb he was. (Y/N) just sent a text back saying that she just needed time for herself. But even that was too much to ask.
(Y/N) sat on the edge, legs swinging. Footsteps made her heart jump, she turned, pepper spray in hand.
“Back up fiend!” She shouted at the darkness. She heard a chuckle and the familiar figure of Derek Hale appeared in her sight. She relaxed, setting her pepper spray back in the spot besides her.
“Fiend? What year are you from?” He looked down at her, “What are you doing out here by yourself?”
“Being pissed. Would you like to join me?” She swept her hand out to offer him the spot in the grass beside her.
“Being pissed is my specialty.” He sat down, staring out at the city below, he leaned back using his arms to keep himself up. Derek used to be the most intimidating person she knew, but after a while she saw that Derek was just like anyone else. But he had a real bad case of grumpy face.
“What are you pissed about?” She asked, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye.
Derek shrugged, “Why wouldn’t I be pissed? My uncle killed my sister, tried to kill me, etcetera bullshit that we’ve all been through for the past couple years.” He looked at her, “What are you pissed about?”
“Well, now I would rather not say.” What she was pissed about didn’t compare to Derek.
“C’mon, Short Stack, you can tell me.”
She sighed, “It just that... I’m so sick and tired of being made fun of for my height. Every once in a while, sure, I can take a joke, but lately it has been constant. Just...” She looked at him, seeing that he was actively listening, “Never mind, it’s stupid to be mad about this.”
“It’s not stupid.” Derek said, totally surprising (Y/N), “You want more respect from the pack. I understand that.”
(Y/n) blinked a few times, “Really?”
“It’s only fair. You’ve done a lot, you earned your position in the pack, you deserve respect. I’ll talk to them about it.”
She shook her head, “No, Derek, that’s-”
Derek smiled, “I got it.” He stood up, helping (Y/N) to her feet. It was nice to see Derek smiling, especially after everything that had happened to him.
“Besides, I’m grumpy face, aren’t I?”
Her eyes widened, covering her open mouth with her hands, “Oh my god, who told you that?”
“Lydia is loud.”
-
Like usual, Stiles was at her house after having used the key he made to get in. He stared her down as she watched Xfiles reruns. He came around, standing in front of the screen just as they were about to reveal the aliens.
“Is there a reason why you are interrupting Xfiles time?”
He crossed his arms over his chest, “Since when are you and Sour Wolf friends?”
“I thought we were all friends.” (Y/N) moved on the couch to get a better view of the TV. Stiles sighed and fell down on the couch besides her.
“We are. But Derek basically called us together and told everyone to stop doing the short jokes all the time.” He titled his head to the side, “Then Theo asked if he was your guard dog now and lets just say he’s gonna need the night to heal the bones he broke.” A grin pulled at her lips at the thought of scary Derek Hale getting her the respect she deserved, even fighting the pack to get it.
“What’s the problem?” She asked.
“I guess... The problem is that you should have come to me first. I’m your boyfriend and that should be my thing. To defend you.” She guessed Xfiles had to wait. She turned to Stiles to fully look at him. He looked upset, a little pout on his face.
“It’s hard to talk to you about it when you laughed at it today. I got angry with you. Derek just happened to be there and we talked.” She rested her head on his shoulder, “I know you would defend me with your whole heart. Derek’s just faster.” He mocked offense, his mouth agape.
“Faster? You better be fast then, missy!” His fingers found their way to her sides, tickling at her ribs. She yelped and scrambling up, running through the house with Stiles close behind. Laughter filling the empty home as the TV played in the background. Maybe being around tall people all the time wasn’t so bad. Sometimes they defended your honor and sometimes they were the love of your life. Sometimes the tall boy you met freshman year, the one who tripped over his own feet, would be the boy you spent the rest of your life with. Through thick and thin. Through life and death. And that was worth it, right?

Secrets part 3 Peter Hale
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Paring - Peter Hale x Reader
Warnings - smut finally
Part 1. Part 2
Tumblr media
You drove straight to Derek’s, still feeling a little shaken up after what Theo had done. Outside Peters Shelby wasn’t there, you didn’t know if you were happy or sad not to see it. When you got inside to your surprise Peter was there sat reading his book. He’d actually agreed to car pool with you.

Stiles and Liam both cheered as you walk in, Stiles calling you a good luck charm after the win today. How you managed to get coach to listen to your ideas. For the next few hours you all laughed, talked, drank and ate.

It was at this point, Derek being one of the closest to you noticed your neck. “what happened” he said, Peter now in his feet coming over to see. You explain about Theo’s threat and how he tried to strangle you.

“I’m gonna kill the little runt” Peter said heading for the door. You grabbed his arm, stopping him.

“don’t, Stiles’ dad’s took him, Coach is having him expelled and if he’s stupid enough to back at me then you all have my permission to kill him. But for now can we just forget about it” you say to him. Peter clenches his jaw but agrees he’ll leave Theo to sheriff Stilinski for now.
You watch Peter return to his book as Lydia pulls you to one side asking to talk. Stepping away to a more private part of the loft you wait to see what’s wrong. “what’s going on with you and Peter?” she asks outright.

You blush “nothing, what do you mean?” you say coyly. Maybe you needed to tone down your stirring at the handsome wolf.

“I seen him today at the game, his arms around you before fighting with Theo. Are you two dating now?” she asks a little concerned.

Shaking your head no “that was to wind up Theo. Peters version of leave her alone I think, not like it worked” you told her, not really sure why Peter had started on Theo the way he did. “and besides even if I did like Peter, I don’t think he likes me like that”. You say looking down not letting her see the sadness you felt.

“oh, I doubt that. The way he is around you, looks at you. I think Peter likes you, I’ve always thought that especially after you saved him” she says.

You wished it was true but knew differently, you’d kissed him wanted more he told you no. “No, I think Peter just likes the game, I know he wouldn’t want me like that” you say hoping to end the conversation.

Lydia eyes you suspiciously but doesn’t question it. She looks over at Peter who watches y/n out the corner of his eye like he’d always done. She was going to ask him but knew Peter would never tell her the truth.

Peter sat just watching everyone else, what he always did when Scott used the loft for after games celebration. It was only pack members but for Peter it was still way too many.

He glanced over to y/n now she’d finished her chat with Lydia, he was about to gain your attention until Liam got it first asking her to dance. To Peter’s annoyance you agreed, going over to dance with him, Lydia, Stiles and Malia.

Peter growled watching as they young pups hands tried to move down your body. He found himself thinking how dare Liam touch what’s his, even if you wasn’t, its all Peter truly wanted. He hated even more you hadn’t stopped it. That you just moved slightly so he wasn’t touching anymore still laughing and dancing.

For the third time Liam’s hand come inches away from your ass. This time you decide not to move out of his way, nope you decide to see Peter’s reaction. Your eyes lock with his, he’s stirring with a snarl. You wink at him hoping to push him to come over do or say something but he doesn’t.  He gets up and walked to his old room. You sigh Peter hadn’t got jealous.

With Peter gone and the song finished you went to find something to drink. Everyone turned seeing the loft door open, Cory walked in scanning the room. Mason was happy to see about to give him a hug but Cory walked past him straight to Scott, his eyes flicking to you.

“Theo’s been arrested and he thinks Peter is up to something. He says Peters an alpha and y/n’s in danger” Cory blurted out. You sigh, it wouldn’t take Theo long to spill Peters secret.

Everyone looks at you, taking one or two breaths trying to keep your heart beat stable. “is this true” Scott asked.

“not as far as I know” you say hoping the wolfs wouldn’t notice the lie. After being with Theo you learned how to control some tell-tale signs of lying. “Theo has been arrested for trying to kill me” you tell Corey showing him your neck. So now he’s using lies, he knows I’m living in Peters and trying to find a way to turn you lot against him. Peter wouldn’t hurt me, in fact Peters been more respectful in the last two weeks than Theo has in two years. So what ever he’s told you Cory ignore it, I would.” You say hoping the rest believe you.

Derek agrees “y/n right Peter would never hurt her, yes he’d hurt a lot of people but I don’t think he’d do anything to her” he says knowing his uncles not so secret feelings for y/n. Although the Peter being an alpha was something Derek wasn’t sure about, it’s possible but surely he’d know.

Peter walks down the stairs “what have I meant to done now” he smirks. He’s eyes meet yours a small head tilt and smile tells you he’d heard what you said.

“Theo thinks your an alpha”  Scott says eyeing up Peter, arms folded, more or less asking the question without words.

“if I was Scott, you’d be dead” Peter jokes knowing they wouldn’t question it more. “anyway I’m ready to head home, y/n shall we your my lift” add.  You nod saying your goodbyes.

Once in the car Peter seemed quiet lost in his own thoughts. “thanks” he said eventually.

“what for?”  you asked not sure what he was thanking you for.

“keeping my secret. You didn’t have to lie for me but you did so thank you” he said.

You smiled, you had promised you’d keep his secret and did. Even if Theo knew the truth you still wouldn’t rat Peter out. “I keep my promises, I’m a good girl like that” you say.

Peter laughs but doesn’t look up at you. “I’m sorry Theo outed you” you say. Peter just shrugs it wasn’t your fault.

“sorry he tried to strangle you” he said, thinking he was party to blame for pushing Theo. Also making a mental note to kill him next time he saw him. You smile back saying wasn’t his fault.
Tumblr media
Back at the penthouse you walk in the door, as soon as it shuts you take your t-shirt off, showing of your sports bra. Dumping the top in the washing basket you say to Peter your getting in the shower. Giving him a full view of your body hoping after today he’d still be in a touchy mood.

Peter headed straight to his whiskey cabinet. His mixed feeling were getting the better of him, ten minutes ago he was jealous then seeing you lie for him made him love you so much more. And then your mini show for him then left almost nothing to his imagination.

He downed his drink refilling it, tonight he was going put an end to this dam game once and for all. No matter what you decide he was done playing.

You come down after your shower in short pyjama shorts and top. You didn’t miss the way Peters eyes widened as you walk past swaying your hips.

You watch Peter, he seems off you’d noticed it since the game ended. You smirk a thought coming to your head a way get what you want and cheer him up.

You open the fridge, getting out a bottle of juice, choosing not to have alcohol so he can’t say your drunk this time. You stretch up high reaching for one of the glasses on the taller shelf, making little noises to get his attention. Once you have the glass you smile giving him a small wink but he didn’t smile back. He turns his head away.

You sigh, filling the glass you walk to where he’s sat, sitting on the arm of the chair. “you know sour wolf is Derek’s nickname. This kind of pouting doesn’t look good on you” you say, swinging your legs over his, one foot resting on the top of his thigh, your toes dangerously close to his package.

“what are you doing y/n” he asks, unsure what else to do with his mixed feelings right now.

“I’m hoping to put a smile on your face, plus I owe you a thank you for coming to the game today” you say moving your toes a little to tease him.

He sighed keeping his face straight “I think you should stop y/n” he tone was stern.

You look at him confused, the first night from the bar flashing back at you. Maybe you worry wasn’t for nothing, maybe he really didn’t want you.

“Trying to find a way to cheer you up, do you really want me to stop. Peter.” You say nudging your foot over his cock.

Peter grabbed your foot, “y/n stop, I can’t do this anymore” he said looking you in the eye. Seeing your smile fade he went on to explain. “I can’t play this game we’ve been playing. I thought I could but I can’t.” He says low

You didn’t speak, just watch as he runs his hand though his hair, thinking about what he wanted to say next “I can’t handle your looks, touches the way you act like you want me. I can’t handle you falling asleep on my knee and I certainly can’t handle carrying you to bed and it not being mine. Ever since we kissed that night after the bar, all I think about is how much I want you, how you should be mine. How foolish I was acting like the good guy, pushing you away say no because you were drunk and upset, when I should have been the selfish bad guy”

He’s words were cut off when you grab him, smashing your lips with his. He was surprised by your action and didn’t move, just closed his eyes enjoying the feeling of you on his lips.

You pull back biting back a smile “good, I don’t think I could of handled it any more too, I was hoping you would have said something sooner” you say. This time Peter kisses you, this one more passionate but still light and closed mouthed.

His hand slides up the outside of your leg finding your hip. “I promised you I wouldn’t sweetheart, that night I gave you a choice, if you still wanted me in the morning I’d take you to bed, or promise I’d never bring it up” he laughed as his fingers traces circles on your hips.

You giggle, almost forgetting he’d said that “then take me to bed Alpha” you playfully order.

Peter had other ideas, he pulled you off the arm of the chair onto his lap. Kissing and nipping at you neck “thought you’d never ask” he said flashing his eyes red, scooping you do he can stand with you still in place.

You playfully slap him before kissing and biting his jawline and neck. He carries you up the stairs to his room, finally getting the girl he’d wished for and this time he wasn’t going to let you slip away. Peter laid you on his bed gently, leaning over you stirring deep into your eyes “you definitely want this sweetheart?” he asked once last time. You didn’t answer with words. Capturing his lips on yours pulling him closer for more.

Peter grabbed the hem of your vest top, slowly sliding it up, his lips following the material until he reached your boobs. He nips and kisses the parts of your boos that isn’t hidden by your black lace bra as he pulls your top off completely.

“Peter” you moan. He smiles at you as he comes back for another fast, hungry passionate kiss. He didn’t care how much you beg, he was going to take his time. He was going to make sure you never wanted anyone else but him after tonight.

You watched Peter when he broke the kiss apart, pulling his own shirt over his head. You look over his chest, taking in every line, curve and  ripple that makes him. Leaning up on your elbows to get a better, fuller view of him as he started to undo his jeans.

You bit your lip, as he slowly slid them off tossing the behind him. He smirked “like what you see” he chuckled before sliding his hand up your legs pulling down your shorts leaving you in your underwear. This time it was Peters turn to admire you, his eyes raked up and down your body “beautiful” he said coming to kiss you.

Your hands went to his chest, trailing around his neck, as you pull the hair at the back of his head. Arching your back so he can unclasp your bra he throws it the away like he did his jeans. He leans back to look at you again before kissing your boob his and playing with the other one.

Running your hands across his shoulders, digging your nails in as he bites on your nipple rolling the hardened bud in his teeth. You could already feel how hard Peter is, his member pressing against the top of your thigh. You moved your hips to grind against him.

Peter took it as a hint, he gently let his fingers down your stomach, sending goose bumps over your skin. He rubbed your covered core making you moan, under his touch. He smiled feeling how wet you were for him, how your body reacted to him. His kisses follow the same path his hand had stopping just above your pantie line. He pulls them down not taking his eyes from yours.

He only looks away when there off and he kisses his way up your legs biting your inner thighs. You reach down tangling your fingers in his hair as he licks along clit. You hum and whine as he teases you with his tongue, wanting and needing more. “quit teasing please Peter” you say.

“only because you said please”  he chuckles, sliding a finger in you. Your hips buckle as he wastes no time finding the spots that make you cry his name. It wasn’t long before he adds a second. He let’s them explore you, taking in the places that make you moan and cry for him. Before bringing his tongue too your clit to increase the pleasure you felt.

Peter knew you were close and didn’t let up swapping his mouth for his thick thumb. “cum for me sweetheart, I want to see you come apart for me” he practically sang. Before you knew it you were pushed over the end, clenching around his fingers, screaming a mix of ‘oh god and Peter’

Peter brought his fingers to his lips humming as he licked your cum from them. Leaning over you he kisses you, you feel his tip at your entrance. He let’s it roll along your swollen lips and cups your cheek with his hand. “I’ve wanted this for so long sweetheart” he says lining himself up.

He slowly enters you, feeling bigger than you imagined filling and stretching you in the most amazing way. The growl he makes, almost animalistic once he’s deep as he can go. “fuck me Peter” you cry, you didn’t have to ask twice, for him to start moving.

Peter was anything but gentle and you loved it. His thrusts were hard and sharp, hitting spots and places you didn’t know existed. You wasn’t gentle too, if Peter didn’t heal, your own scratch marks would have been visible tomorrow.

You could feel yourself getting closer to the edge, and so could he. You whine a little as Peter pulls out but before you could moan any words. He flips you over so your now on your hands, entering you again with one fast hard thrust. Once he was settled inside you, he pulls you close so your back is pressed against his chest. His hands on your boobs kissing your neck, all you could do was reach up to grab his hair.

You moan his name loving the new position your in. He bucks his hips sending a new pleasure though you.  Trying to turn your head, a new wave of arousal filled your stomach seeing him, sweaty, sexy and those bright red eyes. “Peter, make me yours, bite me” you moan out on the verge of your next orgasm. “make me your little wolf, alpha”  you beg. His growl mixed with his dick hitting your g-spot sent you hurling into your orgasm.

Your walls clenching around him as he feels you cum on his dick, mixed with your words send Peter over the edge. His thrusts get sloppy but he doesn’t let up, the sound of you begging he let’s his teeth scratch lightly over your neck but resists the urge to sink then in as he cums deep inside you. “your amazing” he whispers, not caring if you heard or not as he slips out of you.

You fall on the bed, out of breath, worn out. Peter hands you a drink before pulling you into his arms. Kissing your head

**
You laid naked in Peters bed, his arms around you, holding you close. He kissed the top of your head as you made little soft murmurs in your sleep. He was still stunned last night actually happened, that you’d chosen him, asked and begged for him. He hoped it wasn’t a one time thing. He also hadn’t forgotten your high on sex driven request of becoming his beta, butting and turning her. He wasn’t gonna lie, the thought passed his mind. He almost caved as you clenched around him begging to be his, his little wolf.

Peter didn’t do it, almost for the same reason he didn’t sleep with you the first night you entered his penthouse. He worried you’d regret it the next day and hate him for it. He decided he would bring it up again in a few days see how you felt then

He smiles as your started to wake, “morning sweetheart” he says, bring his lips close to yours, kind of testing if it was a one night stand for you. To his delight you lean up kissing him. “breakfast? He asked.

You shook your head no holding him tighter “I don’t wanna move or you to move, I’m comfy like this” you say. Peter smirks letting himself settle. You stayed there almost an hour, sharing hugs and kisses before you had to get up to go the bathroom. Peter kisses you heading down the kitchen in his boxers.

You take a second to take in how yummy his ass looked in the tight silk. When you go down Peter had you a coffee ready. He wanted to bring up what last night meant, if it meant as much to you as it did to him.

After breakfast he’d mentally asked you 10 different ways all sounds as bad as the one before. “what’s on your mind?” you ask him noticing him stirring into space.

“did you mean what you about wanting to be mine?”  he asked out right, there was no other way to say it.

You pull yourself onto his lap looking him deep in the eyes “yes I meant it, I meant it all. I want to be with you, be your little wolf I want you peter” you say before kissing him.

He smiles a full happy, and slightly relieved smile. “good it’s all I want too” he says kissing your neck. He promised to bite you on the next full moon but until then you were happy just to be his girlfriend. “you know both Scott’s and Theo’s pack won’t be happy if I turn you” he joked.

You kiss him again, “I don’t care what they think,  I want it and I’m happy with you” you say reassuring him. You smirk “buyt until we find a way to tell them it can be our newest secret”

Puppy pack sexuality head-cannons
(This became a rant I’m sorry)
Liam Dumbar
Bi 👏🏻sex👏🏻ual👏🏻
I refuse to be told any less!! You’re gunna try tell me he DIDNT have a fling with Brett enemies to lovers style?? All I’m saying is if he didn’t get expelled, Briam would have been real. Also, hey! Yeah, he **has** a thing for Theo. But let’s not ignore the fact he loved Hayden. Or make her into a bad guy?? Come on writers, at least keep her as his bad bitch girl best friend.
Brett Talbot
Bisexual
Hey, there is no need for me to explain myself. We all saw the club scene. However!! I’m going to do it anyway. When he had a thing for Liam I believe he was closeted and nervous about being out at first cause he didn’t want his teammates to do anything. Like I think a part of him got scared he’d somehow get kicked out, and therefor Lori would too. I think he was just really worried about Lori.
AND HE AND LIAM DEFINITELY TALKED IT OUT AND WERE COOL WITH EACHOTHWR. (I need to calm down I’m sorry)
Theo Raeken
Pansexual
Hey, the kiss with Tracy may not have been romantically driven, but I still don’t personally head cannon Theo as gay. I just think he likes certain personality attributes (read firey, angry, betas) that are not set down by gender. I think he just likes someone’s who’s confident and can hold their own. Like he’ll love to defend someone, but he also likes the kind of person who can defend them self.
Nolan Holloway
Straight
For those who ship him with Brett, I’m sorry, he’s the token straight group alli in my eyes. They all love him anyway, and it doesn’t matter. (We all have that one in our friend group, y’all know what I’m talking about). He loves doing to pride parades and being really open about being an alli. Liam and Hayden like to tell him he restores their hope in the straights.
Mason Hewitt
Gay
The Brett-ogling and love for a certain Corey Bryant speaks for itself. He knew from young. It was very obvious and he was like ‘oh, yeah, duh’. Then was like ‘yeah, I say fucking duh. Of course, I’m a homosexual.’ At least that’s how I see it in my head. He told Liam and the boy like looked away, looked at him and then was like ‘cool’. Liam totally had no inclination about himself yet. (Sorry, I never stop talking about Liam. I love the puppy.)
Corey Bryant
Queer
I just feel like he doesn’t like labels too much. He just knows he loves Mason and that’s enough. He takes every infatuation or crush or romance one at a time. He doesn’t think too much about it and no one pressures him to label it specifically. Mason’s like “You only need to love me, anyway. You can just be Masonsexual.” (Corey is very chill with the ‘masonsexual’ jokes and understands he’s not getting labelled or pushed into one or anything.)
Hayden Romero
Lesbian? Kind of?
For Hayden… it’s hard to explain. I kind of head cannon her as a lesbian but I believe her relationship with Liam was real. Like she had genuine romantic feelings for him and really did love him romantically. She identifies as a lesbian, but doesn’t hide her past relationship with Liam or anything. It’s like how it’s a scale, you know? Like she really likes girls. Girls, girls, girls, girls. But she did like Liam.
Lori Rohr
Bi-curious
She could date a girl, but she’s got a preference for guys. Is definitely sexually attracted to girls too. Is kind of new to the exploration of her sexuality though. At first she was certain she was straight, then a girl walked past and her mind went ‘I’d tap that.’ And then she was like,,, ‘oh, shit.’
(Josh is straight and Tracy is definitely pansexual)

All Because of a Jacket
Tumblr media
Stiles x Reader
 GIF Not Mine
Summary: A collection of the times Stiles lends Y/N his lacrosse jacket.
 Warnings: None.
 Word Count: 2,039
A/N: I have no idea where this came from guys. Actually, I do—I ordered myself a Stiles lacrosse jacket and I’ve been living in it since it came, so that’s most likely what inspired this little imagine. I hope you enjoy it! Leaving a link HERE to the jacket I got off Etsy if you’re interested—I cannot recommend it enough!
It started off subtle, something I didn’t notice at first, and was merely grateful for. The pack had met in the middle of the lacrosse field on a Sunday evening, the location chosen as a way of avoiding any police cruisers who were out enforcing the town-wide 9pm curfew. Still, I didn’t understand why we couldn’t just have met at someone’s house, though I suppose that did run the risk of neighbours ratting us out.
I’d been trying to listen to what Scott was saying, and the whole reason we were gathered in the middle of the freezing cold lacrosse field in January, but I couldn’t bring myself to focus. It was my own fault, really. I’d assumed we’d go inside the school once we’d all gathered together, which was why I’d forgone grabbing a jacket as I left my house. Now, I was there, scrunching the sleeves of my jumper in a vain attempt to retain some heat and reverse the cold settling in on my bones. I had my arms crossed over my chest, and was seriously considering just wrapping my arms around Derek and burying my face into his back—he wouldn’t have minded and the man gave off more heat than a damn space heater, but I was startled out of my thoughts by a curtain of warmth being wrapped around me. I blinked, surprised and my eyes fluttered closed for a second in complete and utter relief, before my brain registered that the wonderfully warm jacket hadn’t just landed on my shoulders of its own accord. I looked to my left and straight into a particular pair of honey brown eyes that I was more than a little fond of. His eyes were soft at that moment, and when I murmured a quiet thank you, he responded with a bashful smile that made my heart skip a beat in my chest.
As I slid my arms through the long sleeves of Stiles’ lacrosse jacket and buttoned up the front in an attempt to retain the warmth the sarcastic boy’s body had provided, I found myself grateful that Stiles, like me, was one of the only humans of the group. It meant that I’d been able to successfully keep my more than platonic feelings from him. Of course, he was the only one who didn’t know.
I narrowed my eyes at Derek’s teasing, barely there, smile and discretely flipped him off by scratching my nose with my middle finger. The action didn’t go unmissed by the blue-eyed wolf and he breathed a chuckle before returning his attention to the alpha in front of the group.
My cold state now taken care of, I was able to concentrate on Scott’s words, subconsciously stepping closer to Stiles as I listened, my body seeking out the comfort his presence always provided me with without my consent.
That was the first time Stiles gave me his jacket.
 //
The second time had been during a “stake-out” with Liam and Stiles. The honey-eyed boy was adamant that there was something off with Theo, and honestly I hadn’t got the best feeling about him popping into our lives out of nowhere for one, adding in the fact he was also a werewolf… well it was just too much of a coincidence.
‘I’m telling you, there’s something not right about him, Y/N.’ Stiles said, for what must have been the hundredth time in the last four hours.
‘Stiles.’ My hand covered his on the steering wheel, and I felt us both immediately relax at the touch, ‘I believe you, okay? You don’t need to convince me of anything. If you say there’s something off with Theo, I’m not going to question it.’
His usually honey-brown eyes were dark with emotion as his hand squeezed mine, ‘why? Why do you believe me?’
‘Because you have great instincts and I trust you and your opinions more than anyone else’s.’ I told him honestly.
I felt my heart beat pick up the longer his eyes bore into mine, but I refused to look away, even knowing that Liam was probably smiling in the same smug way all the werewolves had mastered whenever my heart misbehaved around Stiles. What felt like hours later, Stiles blinked and bought my hands in-between both of his.
At my look of confusion, he elaborated, ‘you’re freezing.’
‘Huh, I didn’t even notice.’ I shrugged, trying to fight the blush forming on my cheeks at what felt like an intimate gesture.
He opened his hands a little so he could blow some hot air onto mine, and the warmth generated from the act seemed to travel through my whole body.
‘Better?’ he asked after a few minutes of repeating the gesture.
I cleared my throat and kept my answer short, not trusting my voice, ‘much. Thank you.’
‘No problem.’ He released my hands and I slid them underneath my thighs to retain the heat he’d created.
My eyes moved over to where we’d been watching for most of the night, to see Theo was still playing his video game, like he had been for most of the night. It made me frown; sure video games were what teenagers usually did, but it just seemed too convenient to me. I was about to voice my opinion to Stiles and Liam when familiar cotton was placed onto my shoulders. My arms moved through the sleeves almost reflexively as I offered my best friend a grateful smile, and tried to resist the urge to bury my face into the fabric to inhale his sweet and husky scent.
 ‘Thank you.’
‘Can’t have you freezing on me.’ He joked his hand squeezing my thigh briefly before returning it to the steering wheel.
I couldn’t have stopped the blush that formed on my cheeks if I tried, so I turned my gaze to stare out of the window, my hand resting where his had touched me, and I wondered— if I were to remove the denim barrier provided by my jeans, would my thigh display a brand of his hand print?
Because the heat left behind by his touch felt exactly like I had been branded as his.
 //
The third time had been in the cafeteria.
We were all sitting together, minus Derek and Liam, and all having different conversations in our own little groups. Allison and Isaac were making weekend plans, provided she could sneak out without her father noticing, Lydia, Aiden, Ethan and Danny were talking about something they could all do together on a double date, and Stiles, Scott and I were all talking about collages we wanted to apply to. Well, they were. I was trying not to fall asleep using my sandwich as a pillow; I’d been up late the night before, helping Stiles put together his criminal bored. Nothing had been solved, but we both found it helpful to have everything, every clue, and every detail all in one place.
Of course, time had gotten away from us, and our party had been broken up by the Sherriff returning from his shift and gently informing us it was past three am. I’d been too tired to drive home and had slept on the couch, but two hours sleep wasn’t enough time for me, unlike Stiles; he was as hyperactive as ever.
I pushed my tray away from me with a sigh, too tired to eat anyway, and laid my head down on top of my arms. I’d heard a few chuckles from the pack, but I ignored it; they knew how I could be when I was tired so they just left me to it. I was on the brink of passing out, knowing someone would wake me for our next class, when I found myself surrounded by what was becoming my favourite jacket emitting warmth and a scent I couldn’t get enough of. I slid my arms into the sleeves and nuzzled my face into the fabric once I’d returned them to my original position. Had I been fully conscious of my actions, I’d have been embarrassed at my audience, but the chuckles simply faded into nothing as I finally found sleep.
What I hadn’t noticed was Stiles’ fond smile, or the knowing and frustrated expressions the rest of the pack wore.
 //
The fourth time had been during a lacrosse game.
I’d been standing in the bleachers, wearing a jacket that was not keeping me warm in the slightest and discretely trying to huddle closer to Malia—she gave off as much heat as her uncle did—when I’d heard Stiles shouting my name.
I’d frowned, but manoeuvred my way out of the row I’d been sat in and made my way down to the benches, where he was waiting. He was holding his helmet under his arm and when I reached him, he held out his jacket and I took it, but didn’t put it on in case I’d misunderstood his meaning. Did he want me to give it to Malia? I’d noticed they’d been particularly close since she had joined the pack, and as much as it made my heart ache, I was glad the female wolf had someone to offer her comfort when she’d been without it for so long.
‘I noticed it’s pretty cold and figured you could use a jacket.’ He said, seeming nervous.
I felt a genuine smile form on my lips as I slid the cotton on and buttoned up the front, ‘thank you. I feel like I should rent this from you with how often I wear it.’ I chuckled, pulling my hair out from underneath the fabric.
He joined me in my laughter, ‘nah, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I like seeing you in my jacket.’ He looked nervous again and my heart skipped a beat in my chest.
Did he mean…? ‘You do?’ I asked, my voice quiet to my own ears.
‘I do,’ he stepped closer and I felt wonderfully dizzy as a stronger wave of his heat and scent washed over me, ‘Y/N…I’ve liked you for a while. As more than a friend, and I’ve been too scared to say anything, but Scott practically threatened to kill me if I didn’t admit it to you.’
‘You like me?’ I repeated, dumbfounded. How had I missed it? Had I been so preoccupied in hiding my own feelings that I’d been blind to his?
‘Yes.’ He looked more nervous now and I found myself reaching out, my hands falling on top of his in an attempt to comfort him.
‘Stiles…’ I took a breath, finding the courage to say the words I’d been holding in for so long, ‘I like you too.’
His honey-coloured eyes bore into mine for what felt like hours, but in reality it was only a few seconds, before his lips formed a face splitting grin that made my heart warm in my chest.
‘So, will you go on a date with me?’ he asked, seeming more confident but not much.
‘Absolutely.’ I grinned, my face leaning into his hand as it came up to caress the side of my face.
‘Awesome.’ He grinned again, and I was sure that we would both be wearing these giddy expressions for the foreseeable future, ‘pizza after?’
‘Perfect.’ I laced my fingers through his and almost jumped a mile when coach blew his whistle. I’d been so lost in him, his touch, his warmth, and his smell that I’d completely forgotten where we were.
‘I should get out there before Coach kills me.’ He chuckled.
‘Okay.’ I replied, reluctantly releasing his hands.
He leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss to my forehead that I made my heart melt. Before he could leave me completely, I grabbed his jersey and with a teasing grin told him, ‘by the way, this jacket is mine now.’
He blinked, and when he’d processed my words a bright, fond grin broke out across his face. He leaned in, kissed my cheek and whispered against my skin, ‘you won’t find me objecting to that, sweetheart.’ He winked, waved, and left to join the huddle in the centre of the field.
My cheek didn’t stop burning for the rest of the game.

Hunting Season, Part Sixteen: A Theo Raeken Imagine
Request from @aprilfire18: Hi! So can I request something for hunting season where it's the reader(Who's a werewolf) edging Theo, being in control and everything, teasing him. She's getting her revenge on her boyfriend because he played a prank on her.
Just a reminder that requests are back open! Yup, there’s smut in this! Hope this is okay for you lovely, and enjoy x
Tumblr media
As Theo placed kisses on her thighs, Y/N couldn’t help but think about just how she was going to make him pay for the joke he had played on her earlier in the day. She remembered the look he gave her, the nod of his head as he ushered at her to open the bag that she thought contained the body of the werewolf attacking innocent people in Beacon Hills.
He had told her that Argent had managed to kill the monster, but needed someone – another werewolf – to check that this definitely was the man who carried the same scent as the killer of all those people. Theo had looked at her reassuringly as she made to open the body bag, feigning concern for her disposition.
She remembered how much he had laughed when Liam rose out of it, screaming at her and scaring her half to death.
It was then that she had started formulating her revenge on her boyfriend. When they had stepped in the house, Y/N had played the victim, and Theo had wanted nothing more than to make it up to her. She would get what she wanted from him, and then she would be the one in charge, getting her revenge through the only method she knew that was bound to be more than efficient.
Y/N whined as Theo licked up the centre of her core, and for a moment, she almost forgot that she was angry with him. He continued to lap at her, and Y/N’s animal instincts came to the surface as his tongue pushed through her folds. She grabbed at his hair, pushing his face further into her, that knot building in her stomach as she felt his nose scrape against her. “Fuck,” she had never been able to control her words when Theo was pleasuring her, “I’m coming.”
Theo sped up in his movements as Y/N came in his mouth. As she regained her breath, he lapped lazily at her, removing his tongue from her folds. He looked up at her and smiled, the product of her release on his lips. They were both naked, Theo having learnt by now that if he was going to do that to her, he was bound to fuck her too and as Y/N’s eyes fell to his cock, already erect and waiting for her, she remembered her plan. “Get on the bed.”
“What?” Theo seemed confused at her tone. Y/N grabbed the back of his neck, kissing him roughly, tasting herself. She felt Theo’s cock rub against her core, felt him growl onto her lips as she moved against him.
“I said, get on the bed.” Using her werewolf strength, Y/N took Theo off guard and spun him around. He landed on the bed with a soft thump, looking intrigued as she climbed over him. “I’m in charge today.”
Theo didn’t complain as she placed kisses down his chest, down his stomach, further and further until she reached where he needed her most. Y/N could hear his heart beating as she moved further down the bed, felt his hips buck against her when she placed a feather-light kiss on the tip of his cock.
God, it was a beautiful thing. It was her weakness, having spent many a night away from her boyfriend thinking about it, how it felt inside her, how its size and the way in which it was used had her screaming until her throat was raw.
She was so tempted to have Theo fuck her now. So tempted to let him bend her over and take her from behind, fucking her until her knees buckled. But there was something that needed to be done, and she was determined to enjoy herself with it.
Gripping the base, Y/N moved her hand up and down Theo’s cock, slow and steady movements that had him breathing erratically. She positioned it so it was lying on his stomach before dipping her head and reaching the place she knew would have him wanting more. Y/N nudged Theo’s balls with her nose, flicking her tongue out and licking just behind them. It was a small little thing, but it got the desired reaction from Theo. “Fuck.”
Smiling, Y/N took Theo’s balls into her mouth, sucking at them as his heartbeat increased, rolling each with her tongue. Theo’s back arched as she worked at him, and when she was satisfied, Y/N released them, her attention turning back to the main event.
She looked at Theo through hooded eyes as she licked a stripe up his cock, tongue dancing over the vein that protruded from it. She felt Theo’s fingers tangle in her hair as she took him in her mouth, sucking at him slowly at first, revelling in the words that were falling from his mouth. “Fucking take it, take it so fucking deep.” Y/N smiled around him as Theo forgot that she was the one in charge, before taking him to the back of her throat. She heard him growl, his grip on her hair tightening as he hit the back of her throat.
Her hand moved under him, playing with that spot between his ass and his cock that she had licked only a moment ago. His hips bucked, and Y/N felt her eyes water as he fucked her mouth. She continued to take him in his full glory until she felt him tense. Vulgarity continued to fall from his lips. “I’m going to come, Y/N. I’m going to come in your dirty little mouth.”
Well, she would see about that.
Theo’s hand left her hair as he prepared himself for his release, his breathing erratic once again. It was then that Y/N moved away from him, and she smiled as he glared at him. “What the fuck?”
Y/N climbed off the bed, still in her naked form and looked down at her boyfriend. His eyes were wild with arousal and irritation, his cock still hard and in desperate need of release. She smirked at him before moving around to where she had discarded her clothes.
“Y/N, I need to come.”
“And as I said, I’m in charge, and I don’t think you need to. At least, not in my mouth.” She pulled on her underwear. “Feel free to use your own methods.”
“What the Hell is wrong with you? Stop putting your clothes on.” Y/N had pulled on her jeans now. “Y/N, get back over here now.”
“I guess I just don’t feel like sex right now, babe.”
Y/N watched as confusion swept over Theo’s face, smiling when the realisation set in. “This is because of the body bag, isn’t it?”
“Not nice when someone pranks you, is it?” Y/N shrugged into her jacket, before slipping into her shoes. “I’m going out. I’ll see you when I get home.” She leaned over and placed a kiss on a still-stunned Theo’s forehead, before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind her, highly satisfied.
It had felt good being in charge, getting one over on him.
She would have to do it again sometime.

things I want/dream to see if Teen Wolf ever came back in any form (movie, spin off, s7, etc)
1) Allison back from the dead. Lets be honest here, its a supernatural show. Bringing Allison back from the dead, even if it was like an alternate reality version of her, would not be a difficult task and I would love to see a whole movie or spin off where she just appears and it brings everyone back to Beacon Hills to understand how she rose from the dead.
2) This came from Dylan O’Brien’s vision of future Stiles - but Stiles becomes the sheriff of Beacon Hills after working with the FBI for so many years, and now he helps the pack with the weekly supernatural dilemmas in his jeep that he just straps a cop light to the top of.
3) Lydia lives in Beacon Hills with Stiles now, but she is a retired scientist who helped discover some cure to some kind of rare disease, and now she lives in Beacon Hills as a remote mathematician for the government in her spare time. She mainly helps Stiles solve crimes though since she always knows when a death is coming, and does her banshee duties with the pack.
4)  Malia and Kira are together. I just really feel like that was a solid relationship that never turned into anything and could have. I feel like Malia and Kira had more chemistry than Malia/Scott and Kira/Scott combined.
5) Theo and Liam aren’t admittedly dating, but they spend all their time together and often go off on wild missions. They find new werewolves without packs and bring them to Beacon Hills to join the McCall pack, so sometimes they’re gone for weeks on end. Everyone knows they’re basically together but they just don’t say it aloud. They’re always there when the pack needs them though, Liam still basically being Scott and Stiles’ son, and Theo and Stiles hating each other though they lowkey got over it a long time ago.
6) Melissa and Argent didn’t work out, Argent’s been gone for years and they can’t seem to find him once they all find out that Allison has made an appearance. Melissa is still single, but her and Noah spend a lot of their time together, basically acting like a married couple without the intimacy part. They get teased a lot.
7) Noah Stilinski is retired as the sheriff since his son took his place, but he still helps the pack with anything they need and is always there to help support Stiles in his investigations. Stiles goes to him a lot when he’s hit a dead end in a case.
8) Hayden, Mason, and Corey are all off doing life somewhere else, but when something big happens they’re always on Scott’s speed dial. They’re always there for their pack. But just like Scott, Stiles and Lydia, they need to go live their lives somewhere else for a little while.
9) Scott is the local veterinarian now. He took over Deaton’s clinic, but Deaton’s still around. He usually is around teaching Stiles the occasional tricks of magic.
10) They focus more on Stiles’ ability for magic. They set up things like he would be the new Emissary for the pack but then just swept it under the rug. It would make sense for Stiles to have those kinds of abilities or at least access to it. We saw him perform some kind of magic with the mountain ash, and he survived the magic of a kitsune inside him and survived the bizarre magic of sorts from the Wild Hunt. I’m not saying make him a wizard, but exploring those possibilities would be interesting. Even if in the end he decides he doesn’t want to. Him being the sheriff would give him even more opportunity to be a mediator in all things supernatural of the town.
11) New werewolves that Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Liam, Theo, Malia, Kira, everyone have to parent. But like a lot of them. Hunters have been killing off their alphas and now they’re alone. They’re all new and confused and living at the McCall house and everyone's trying to keep them from killing each other while also trying to teach them to be werewolves and its just pure and Stiles makes a lot of jokes about parenthood.
12) Stiles to be confirmed bisexual, however I think he should be married to Lydia. I’ve thought about all the other options and they’d just be annoying. If they were engaged we’d have to see a cheesy wedding (which I wouldn’t be against, as long as they do it right), them still dating makes absolutely no sense, and they’ve been through way too much for them not to end up together. Like they’re literally each others emotional tethers. They were put through too much drama, they just need to be married and have some cute moments on the side while they’re just a solid crime solving, werewolf babysitting duo. I know shows are capable of it, Teen Wolf was already really good with Stydia in not making every scene about them and their relationship. They can put relationship drama with Scott and new alive Allison, or the new werewolves, or Theo and Liam. Obviously they can have their married couple fights and their normal ups and downs, but honestly it would be best to just keep them generally happy. Let them be the Lily and Marshall and Scott and Allison be the Barney/Ted and Robin.
13) Kira’s a history teacher at Beacon Hills and Malia’s the new coach. However, Coach never really retired, so him and Malia are just co-Coaches. They would make a hilarious duo and I just want to see them yelling at each other as well as teaming up to yell at the kids. Malia and Kira working together is what starts to spark their relationship. Sooner or later Kira becomes principle, but only when the principle quits and Kira’s the only one willing to take the job.
this is it for now. I didn’t even get into Isaac, Derek or Peter! when I think of more I’ll make a part 2.

...About ten years ago...
- Riley -
The safety that I felt in Liam’s arms would always be unmatched. I wanted to stay in his embrace forever, under the starless New York sky. But after spending a tedious day collecting Madeleine’s wedding ring, helping Drake go shopping, then having to impress Adelaide at the U.N. party, I was terribly exhausted. The tiredness was new and... disturbing. I told myself that it was the emotional strain that added to my fatigue, though I was still uneasy about it.
I pull away from Liam. “It’s getting late. Won’t you be missed?”
His face falls. It’s a look I’m too familiar with. “I’m afraid you’re correct. We should probably return to the hotel... and the rest of the world. Allow me to walk you back to your room?”
“Of course,” I allow, not ready to leave him.
The walk is short and familiar. I resist the urge to pull him back and let us both get lost in the night. I turn to look at him, his hand tightly clasped in mine, and he smirks.
Liam enjoys staring out at the landscape of the park and the people in it. I look in the other direction, subtly glancing at the faces of people who passed by. My heart gives a jolt when I see a familiar side-profile, but the man turns his head and I am proven wrong.
And then I notice the person next to him, Boris, and Boris notices me. He points in my direction, and Theodore turns to look. Theo and Boris stop in their tracks and stare at me while I walk on with Liam. I look away, hoping that they wouldn’t try and come up to us.
Liam and I part ways in the lobby. There are two elevators, and we each take a separate one.
I feel the floor below me begin to rise, which sends a queasy feeling into the pit of my stomach. I wonder how Theo and Boris must’ve felt seeing me. Boris was Theo’s college friend, and I had only known him for a few weeks before I left. I know I went away abruptly and didn’t contact them after I had gone, but I hadn’t exactly believed that they deserved an explanation from me.
Once inside the hotel room, I begin taking off my shoes, but the nausea comes back. I lean forward, and sensing that I’m about to empty my stomach onto the floor, I race to the bathroom and throw up into the toilet.
It lasts for longer than I expected it. I run through all the reasons for my having thrown up, wondering if it was something that I ate, or maybe I was sick?
I manage to pick myself off of the floor and brush my teeth. Walking back towards the bed, I take off my dress and put it to the side when I notice a notification on my phone.
It’s a text from Theo.
Hey Riley. I know we haven’t talked. It was nice to see you. I hope you’re doing well.
Bertrand had told me to speak to any of my friends in person, so I had ignored the texts on my phone ever since Liam’s coronation. I didn’t know whether I should answer him or not, but then he texts me again:
Just wanted to say that I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to be hanging around that guy so much. Someone else could have seen you. Boris and I did
At that, I got angry. My relationship with Liam was none of his business!
Mind if I hop by for a visit?
yes, actually, i do mind
That’s too bad. You’re staying in the same hotel as Boris. What a coincidence. What’s your room number?
I sigh and give it to him, somewhat afraid that he would just barge into every room to try and find mine. There was always a chance that he was intoxicated one way or another, so the safest bet was to not agitate him.
A few minutes later, there’s a knock on the door. I open it to find Theo. He looks exhausted, but his suit is new. I wonder what he spent his day doing.
“Hey, Riles.”
“Hey, Theo.”
“How’ve you been holding up?”
I shrug. “I’m doing alright.”
“How long have you guys been in New York?”
“A little over a day.”
He nods and walks into the room, closing the door behind him. I stare at him, hoping that he would make eye contact and understand that I wanted him to leave, but he doesn’t look at me.
“Alright, Theo, it’s late. I’ve had a long day and want some sleep. It was nice seeing you, but,” I point at the door, “good night.”
He doesn’t say anything, but takes out a pack of cigarettes. He lights one and takes a long drag. “Riles, I think you should be careful around him.”
“Who, Liam?” I scoff. “Why? Actually, don’t answer that, I don’t want your input on my love life.”
“I’ve read up about Cordonia ever since your name kept popping up in the news. The court isn’t exactly a nice place, is it? Liam’s half brother... what’s his name?”
“Leo?” I give him.
He snaps his fingers. “Yes. Leo’s mother. Everyone knows why she left court. I bet they expect you to do the same thing eventually.”
“For your information,” I start. “I’ve made friends in court. It’s not so bad.”
“Really?” He raises his eyebrow and takes another drag. The smell of it engulfs the room. “So his fiancée... she’s fine with you hanging around her man?”
“She’s actually allowing it.” I sit on the edge of the bed. “All she wants is the crown.” For a moment, I pause and stare out the window. “She’s not making it too easy for me though. She made me pick up her wedding ring today. And she keeps talking about ‘training me’ to be presentable in society.”
He shakes his head. “None of us ever find enough kindness in the world, do we?”
“That we don’t,” I comment. “Especially not us commoners.”
Theo struggles to hold in a laugh. “I always found that term a bit funny. Commoners. As if they’re anything special. All they’ve got riding for them is power that their ancestors were able to beat out of poor communities a couple hundred years ago. If their citizens were ever determined to get rid of the monarchy, trust me, those royal pomps wouldn’t last a day against a rebellion.”
I roll my eyes, but say nothing. Theo wasn’t in a position to comment on Cordonian politics.
We sit in silence for a few more minutes, Theo fiddling with his cigarettes while I contemplate asking him to leave. I feel nauseous again, so I run into the bathroom and empty my stomach.
When I come back, Theo stares at me with wide eyes.
“What?” I ask, irritated. “Never seen a girl throw up before?”
“No, no, it’s just... are you sick or something?”
“No. At least, I don’t think so.”
He raises his eyebrows. “How long have you been feeling like that?”
“Like... a week? I remember feeling the need to throw up on the plane ride to Shanghai, but it was fleeting. I’ve just been so exhausted this entire trip. It’s probably just that.”
Theo sighs and puts out his cigarette on the table next to my bed, leaving a dark circle. “Riley you’ve got to be kidding. You fucking idiot, you’re pregnant.”
I frown, hoping that he was joking, but the annoyance in his tone was enough to tell me that he was serious. The symptoms could just mean that I was about to get my period. But then I remembered that I hadn’t been keeping track. “That’s... that’s impossible.”
He puts his hands in his pockets and tilts his head. “Really? You’ve got the nausea and the fatigue, and the privileged royal boyfriend to go with it. I’m guessing you missed your period, too?”
“Okay, wait.” I put up my hands. “‘Privileged royal boyfriend’? What does Liam have to do with this?”
“Riley, don’t be stupid. I’m guessing he didn’t wait to get engaged before you two got it on?”
“First of all, stop. Second of all, that doesn’t mean anything.”
“So you’re telling me I’m wrong? You guys were never intimate, and there’s no chance of that being his kid?” He points at my stomach.
“I’m not saying there’s not a chance, just... wait, who are you texting?”
Theo had taken out his phone and was typing something. “Boris,” he tells me. “Asking him to bring us a pregnancy test. Do you think that store a couple blocks down would have one or will he have to go all the way to Brooklyn?”
I grab the phone from his hands, leaving him mildly surprised. “Don’t involve Boris in this, it’s none of his business!” I look down at the phone, seeing that Theo already sent the message. “And it’s none of your business, either, Theo, so I would really appreciate it if you would leave!”
There’s a knock on door, and Maxwell’s voice calls out, “Blossom, can we come in?”
Theo and I turn to each other, eyes wide. I grab his shoulder and push him into the bathroom and he snatches his phone back. I go to open the door, and come face-to-face with Maxwell and Bertrand.
“Boy, am I shocked to see you, Maxwell!” I cry, trying to sound cheerful through the anxiety.
“Really?” he asks, taken aback.
“Not even a little. Bertrand on the other hand.” I turn to look at him, and find him as grim as ever.
“Yes, yes. I have returned, but that’s not the big news.”
“What is it?” I question, glancing back at the bathroom door, hoping that Theo wasn’t eavesdropping.
Bertrand turns to Maxwell, who reveals that he was able to narrow down Tariq’s address.
“That’s great!” I exclaim. “We should—”
Bertrand interrupts me. “Don’t let your enthusiasm get the better of you just yet.”
Of course there was a catch. Maxwell had narrowed it down to ten locations, which was still good, so I tell him to give himself a pat on the back.
“Wait,” I jump in. “At the party, Adelaide mentioned that Tariq only wears Sartorini shoes. Is that helpful?”
“Actually... yes!” Maxwell cries.
“Only a few of the shops carry that brand, so you can focus your efforts on the addresses from those that do,” Bertrand states, a genuine smile on his face.
“Wait, did you say ‘when we get to L.A.’?” Now I was really hoping that Theo wasn’t listening in.
I thought that the engagement tour was taking a surprise detour, but Maxwell tells me that only him, Hana, Drake, and I would go on one of the royal jets. Unfortunately, Liam wasn’t coming with, but my heart was put a little at ease when Bertrand said that Liam was giving us the jet. At least he knew we were going.
“We’ll be off to L.A. in the morning!” Maxwell states while Bertrand turns to leave. “Sleep well, blossom, we’ve got a big day ahead of us!”
Once the door closes behind them, Theo comes out of the bathroom. “Have your friends told you what’s gonna happen if you don’t find the guy?”
I sigh. “Don’t be so negative. Clearly, you were listening in, so you know that Maxwell narrowed down his address.”
“True, but rich folks got a way of hiding themselves.”
“Please.” I scoff. “Tariq’s not that smart.”
“Well.” Theo looks around thoughtfully. “He contrived this whole scheme to make you look bad. Put up the photographer and everything.”
“For your information,” I start, sitting back onto the bed after feeling a bit dizzy. “It was the King Father who did all that. Had his guard give an offer to one of the noble ladies who could send a message to Tariq and hire a photographer.”
Theo’s eyebrows jump up. “Really? And you still want to marry into that family?”
“Theo, stop it. Liam is nothing like his father. When we confronted Constantine, he defended me—”
“Sure he’ll do that behind closed doors and in front of those closest to him, but did he do that when you were getting dragged out of the palace? When you were being called a whore internationally?”
“Theo, stop—”
He interrupts me and keeps going, “At the end of the day, he followed his father’s orders. He publically ousted you while keeping the prim-and-proper born-to-be-Queen on his elbow, ready to slam anyone who said anything distasteful about the monarchy. Even if it’s different behind closed doors, how do you know it’s not just to make you feel better about the fact that you’ll never have him?”
“He did that to protect me! And he’s genuine about his feelings towards me!” I try to convince him, but he doesn’t listen.
“Riles, that’s bull and you know it. ‘Protect you’ my ass. He’s protecting himself. It looks bad to his people if he’s hanging around someone who’s been publicly shamed and has ‘betrayed’ him, and it would look bad internationally because it’d seem like he’s got his priorities twisted.”
He crosses the room to come and grab me by the shoulders, then continues, “Riley, please tell me that you see through the façade. What’s gonna happen when you can’t find this Tariq guy? Huh? Is your knight in shining armour gonna get rid of his fiancée and marry you? Open your fucking eyes, Riley.” He shakes me. “He’s willing to put you through unhappiness to make himself happy. Right now, he’s got the best of both worlds, and he’ll do anything to keep it. I’m sure he cares about you in his own way, but he’s privileged, and won’t ever know the full extent of the shit he’s making you go through, and I doubt he feels bad for it. If his country was on the line, I’m sure he’d do it again without hesitation.”
Before I can argue with him more, there’s another knock on the door. Theo allows me to go open it, and I find Boris, holding up a pregnancy test.
“Here,” he says, his accent thicker than I remember. Boris holds out the box to me, and to avoid an awkward conversation, I rush to the bathroom.
I take the test, then put it on the sink and wait.
“Did you take it?” Theo calls, knocking on the bathroom door.
“Yes, now I have to wait.” I never imagined this would be the way that I’d find out I was going to be a mother. I wanted Liam to be here. Theo and Boris felt like strangers, and I couldn’t shake Theo’s little speech out of my head. I knew that Liam loved me. More than once he had told me that he wanted to give me the world. I even had to convince him not to leave his country behind because of me! Doesn’t all that mean something?
It doesn’t mean shit. Those are just words, a voice in my head says. It sounds like Theo. I want it to shut up.
“How long does that shit take?” Theo calls again. “Riley, can’t you check? It’s been more than five minutes.”
I get up off my spot on the floor, embarrassed about having gotten lost in my thoughts.
I desperately wanted there to only be one line just so I could go out there and rub it in Theo’s face. But there are two lines.
Liam and I are going to be parents.
“Riles?” I hear Theo’s voice.
“Maybe she jump out of window?” Boris wonders aloud. I hear the sound of a smack, and know that Theo probably hit him.
I open the door, holding the pregnancy test in my hands. “I’m pregnant,” I announce. I feel overly self-conscious and overly aware of my surroundings.
Boris’ eyes go wide, while Theo stares at the test.
“What now?” Boris asks. “You going to tell the father?”
Does he care enough to hear it? the voice says again.
“Yeah,” I say out loud, trying my best to ignore the whispers in my head. “I’ll go right now.”
“Are you stupid?” Theo yells, blocking my path. “Riley, weren’t you listening to me?”
“I was listening, Theo!” I yell at him. “Everything that you said was crap! I know how Liam feels about me! I know that his feelings are honest and genuine! I know that he loves me, and there’s nothing that you can say to convince me otherwise!”
“Riley, you’re crazy!” he screams. “If you’re not going to see him for the lying royal cheat that he is, then let me break it down for you. He’s a politician, alright? Imagine him as just that. He’ll do anything to make sure that his image isn’t ruined! He’s already put you through pain! He’s one of the most powerful people in the world, he could do anything with the snap of a finger and no one could stop him, or would even try to stop him.”
Theo’s right. Liam is the king. Sure, he only rules over a small European country, but he’s one of the most powerful people on the continent, if not the world. Even though Constantine was the one who plotted against you, he’s only the King Father now. Liam holds more power over him. He could have made Constantine give a statement, but was willing to put you through continued shame just so people wouldn’t question the monarchy. Just so his throne would be secure.
“So what do you want me to do, huh?” I yell at Theo. Tears brim at the edge of my eyes. As much as I want to give in to the thoughts and just give up, I don’t want to stop fighting for Liam and I. I can’t stop fighting for us. What else do I have left?
The baby, which technically, is a part of Liam. So leaving wouldn’t be leaving entirely. You’d still have that little piece of him.
“Ah,” Theo exclaims, running a hand through his hair. “I... didn’t really think that far.”
“Well, what am I supposed to do?” I question. “If you don’t want me to go tell Liam?”
“Of course not,” Boris comments. “How you know he will not make you get rid of it?”
“He would never do that!” I yell.
“Riley.” Theo sighs. “I’m not gonna say it.”
“Then don’t say anything!” I try to back away from them, but bump against the wall. “Liam would never do anything like that. And I wouldn’t do that to him. I know how much he wants a family!”
Theo grabs my shoulders, and his voice is frighteningly comforting when he says, “Don’t, Riley, don’t fall for it.”
“Fall for what?” I blink up at his green eyes.
“Believing that you might have what could never be yours.”
I stare at him for a few more moments, trying to calm down the thousands of words and thoughts that were running through my mind.
Finally, Boris speaks up: “My wife and children live in Sweden. I was going to leave in morning. We can go there for few days, figure shit out. I call my pilot, jet can be ready in few hours.”
Theo lets go of me, and my shoulders feel sore from where his hands were. “That sounds like a plan.” He turns to look around the room. “Is your stuff in your suitcase or did you put it in the drawers?” He opens a drawer, taking out a neatly folded pile and putting it on the bed. Theo continues to do that until all the drawers are empty.
When I walk towards my suitcase, I feel like someone else is walking. I was no longer myself. Wasn’t I supposed to stand by Liam’s side no matter what? Why am I leaving? What good will that do to our relationship? I don’t want to leave him. I don’t think I can.
Yes, you can. Just like you both were separated after the Coronation. Remember how easy it was for him to let you go? During those few weeks before the engagement tour, he didn’t call or text or even send anyone to give you a message. If you leave again, he won’t really care. Just like he didn’t care the last time. He’s got more important things to worry about.
Unfortunately, there’s another knock on the door. I’m practically sick of that sound at this point, but I still go to open it.
“Drake?” I exclaim when I see him. His clothes look like he threw them on in a hurry, and he’s got some serious bed head. I would probably think it was cute if I wasn’t so anxious. “What are you doing here?”
“I heard yelling,” he tells me. “Wanted to make sure you were okay.”
“This isn’t the social season, Drake. You don’t have to act like my bodyguard anymore.”
He gives a thick laugh, his throat heavy with sleep. “I’ll always be here to keep you safe, Brooks.”
We stand there for a while longer, not saying anything.
This may be the last time you ever see him again.
“Did Maxwell tell you that we’re going to L.A. tomorrow?” Drake tries to continue the conversation. He’s still standing in the doorway, but when he takes a half step forward, I understand that he wants to come in. I close the door behind Drake, suddenly remembering Theo and Boris. When I turn around and don’t see them, I feel glad that they had some sense to hide away.
“Yeah,” I say. Turning around, I see Drake staring at the piles of clothes on my bed.
“You trying to organize your stuff before we go?” he asks.
I struggle to speak, knowing that the next few words would not only determine what would probably turn into the next few years of my life, but the first few years of my baby’s life. “No, uh... I’m leaving.”
Drake’s head snaps in my direction. “Leaving? What do you mean leaving?”
I don’t say anything, and he walks closer to me.
“Brooks you mean leaving for L.A. in the morning, right?”
I feel numb when I say, “No. I’m leaving court.”
He gives a forced laugh. “You’re joking, right? Tell me you’re joking.” When my expression doesn’t change, I notice a panic in his eyes. “Brooks you’ve got to be kidding. This is some type of elaborate joke, isn’t it? Is Maxwell going to jump out of the bathroom and scream ‘You’ve been pranked’?” Drake moves towards the bathroom door and gives the handle a shake. “Why’s the bathroom locked? Whatever.”
Drake moves towards the piles of clothes on my bed. He grabs one and puts it back into the drawer. “You’re not leaving, Brooks. We’re so close to finding Tariq and fixing everything.”
“The engagement shower is tomorrow,” I tell him. I don’t feel like myself when I speak. God, I feel so tired. “We’ll never make it in time.”
“How could you say that, Brooks, of course we will! You and Liam, you two are meant for each other, you’ve gotta—”
He turns to look at me, and seeing that I haven’t moved, he stops working. We stare at each other, waiting for one of us to say something, but when we slip into further silence, he closes the drawer and walks to the door.
“You’re not leaving, Brooks. I don’t believe it. I know you’re going to do what’s best for you and Liam.”
He seems like he wants to continue, but when I don’t say anything more, he opens the door and leaves.
When Boris and Theo come out of the bathroom, they don’t speak. I imagine that they’re waiting for me to change my mind or comment on what Drake said, or something. But I feel too tired to talk, too tired to fight the words in my head that wouldn’t stop saying negative things about Liam. I let the voice in my head take over, and in a blur I pack the rest of my things.
About an hour later, Boris announces that the jet is ready. We leave the hotel quickly, hoping that no one would notice me. It was late, and I knew the entire court would be asleep by now, but I wasn’t going to take any risks.
As soon as I take my seat on the jet, I fall asleep. When I wake up, we’re already over the ocean. I turn to see Boris and Theo sleeping, too. I wanted it to be Maxwell and Drake.
Okay, no, wait wait wait wait wait... you just left. Just like that. Without saying goodbye? You didn’t even get to say a proper one to Drake, you didn’t tell Maxwell good night, you haven’t seen Hana since Shanghai, and you left Liam after telling him that you loved him just a few hours ago?
I feel too weak to fight my thoughts anymore. They were annoying me. I want to tell them to take a side, but the nausea and the fatigue are too much for me. I can’t handle it anymore.
...
My marriage to Theo had happened so suddenly that I didn’t even realize that I was married by the end of it. Still a few months before my delivery, Theo and Boris come up to me to say that they think I should change my name. I tell them that I don’t want to keep running, that I want to go back to Liam.
Theo tells me that this isn’t a good time for us to be entering Cordonia. We argue, and the discussion lasts for days. Once or twice I was about to just pack my bags and leave, but I couldn’t bring myself to.
Without telling me, Theo had contacted my mother, who advised that I marry him.
That made both of us blush like teenagers. I knew my mother had always liked Theo ever since we were both kids. She had even told me that he was the ‘perfect match’ for me, but I never listened to her, and I disagreed.
That night, sitting with Boris and Theo, we made a plan as to what we were going to do. Boris’ wife, Astrid, said that getting married was nothing permanent, and would just keep me and the baby safe until I could go tell Liam. Boris laughed at that, and the two of them walked away to go plan our wedding.
The event was in Amsterdam. I was already showing a little, so I didn’t really get to have the dress that I wanted, but I still loved it.
Even through the distance, I felt a connection to Liam. Not just because I was about to have his kid, because in a way I felt like I was doing the same thing as him. Marrying someone I didn’t love to protect those I care about.
I had kept away from any news articles or conversations that had anything to do with Cordonian politics, so for a long time I didn’t know whether he had married Madeleine or not.
My mother attended the wedding. Afterwards, Theo and Boris pulled her into the discussion of me changing my name. My mother agreed. I didn’t want to change my first name, so I took Theo’s last name and became Riley Blaise.
...
Theo had always told me that he never wanted kids, so I was shocked to see him take on the roll of father so effortlessly. He became busy when he started up his business with Boris, but the fact that he always made time for Gabriel and I made my heart swell, even though I was forever angry at him for how he twisted me into leaving Liam.
Throughout the pregnancy and Gabe’s first year, Theo gave up smoking, and told me that he stopped taking all the stuff that he used to. It was a long process, and he went through terrible withdrawals, but I helped him through it. I knew it was a sickness. I didn’t want him to suffer.
We made Boris and another friend of ours, Rowan, the Godparents of Gabriel.
My mother always nagged us about wanting to spend time with her ‘Grandbaby,’ so every Friday night, Theo, Rowan, and I (and when Boris was in New York, he would come along, too) always went out for drinks or for dinner and leave Gabriel with my mother.
And then one morning, after we had drank too much the night before, Theo and I woke up side by side in his bed. We had respectfully slept in our own rooms ever since we married and moved into a New York penthouse, and I couldn’t believe that we had just crossed that line. I took my clothes from his room and snuck out of bed, hating myself.
For the most part, I still let myself believe that I was with Liam. Now I had felt like I had betrayed him.
A few weeks later, I cursed myself when I started having consistent nausea. I took a test, and found that I was pregnant. I took that as a sign that I had to go back to Liam. If I didn’t, then this fake-life with Theo would become my real life. I didn’t want to let go of Liam permanently.
Receiving an invitation in the mail was my perfect opportunity. Maxwell was asking me to come to Bertrand and Savannah’s wedding. I had cut ties with everyone, blocking them on every platform, changing my number, and deleting my email. How he found me, I never knew, but I was grateful nonetheless.
I explained to Theo, and he let me go. I hadn’t told him I was pregnant yet. I decided that I would have to figure that out later. Liam was my top priority. Liam and the life we were supposed to have together.
I checked online, and found that he hadn’t gotten married, and there was no news of him being in any romantic relationships. My heart was put at ease, but only partly; no one knew much about his private life, so his lack of romantic activity was just hopeful guessing.
I found news of Bertrand and Savannah’s wedding online, too. Liam was officiating the ceremony. I would see him. He would see me. We could talk.
But before I could even enter Maxwell and Bertrand’s home, a guard pulled me to the side and I came face-to-face with Regina, who told me to back off, that I didn’t have any right to come back to try and ruin the monarchy.
I didn’t even get a chance to protest before being thrown in the back of a van. There was no way I was going to be forced away again without a fight, so I kicked and screamed until the nausea came back.
And then, just like when Theo took me away to Sweden, I gave up. I was so, so tired.
Theo apologized when I came back. He said he felt bad for everything. After spending a whole night crying in my room, he came to me and said that he would help me get back to Liam.
I told him that was impossible now, since I was pregnant.
And so, for Gabriel and for our baby, we tried to make our life together real. Though it was painful, and I could never bring myself to forget about Liam, we managed.
When the baby was born, I named her Eleanor. I was so deep into my fantasy of what could have been if Liam’s mother never died, that I gave my husband’s daughter the name of my love’s mother.
Theo didn’t know Eleanor was the name of Liam’s mother. I just told him that was a name I found pretty. It was either between Eleanor or Audrey, Theo’s mother’s name. We put that as her middle name, and she was named Eleanor Audrey Blaise.
Whenever I even looked at Gabriel, there was an overwhelming joy. Sure he had my hair, but his eyes and his nose were Liam’s. The ‘O’ shape his mouth would make whenever he was surprised or confused was all Liam. His cheeks were chubby, but I knew that when he would grow older he would look even more like his father.
And I felt the same way with Eleanor. We had the same hair, but her eyes were as green as Theo’s. There was an affection for Theo that I didn’t really want to be there.
We fell into this state of fake-love, where it was real enough for the kids to believe it, it was real enough for friends and other family members to believe it, it was even real enough for us to take comfort in it — but neither of us forgot that Liam was the one I truly loved. It was never Theo. It would always be Liam.
...At The Met...
After dropping of Gabriel and Eleanor at their practices, Theo and I were walking around the Met. He said that he knew where the new exhibit was, but he wanted to walk around and admire the older exhibits first.
We eventually came to a section that I guessed was European history. We looked around at canons and weapons that were used in wars more than a hundred years ago. We saw portraits of monarchs and national leaders. There was a small section on Cordonian history that only held the replica of a double-sided sword and an incredibly large portrait of a warrior queen.
“Kenna Rys,” Theo tells me. “Isn’t that Liam’s last name?”
“She must be his ancestor,” I say, leaning forward to regard the portrait closely. “It’s beautiful. More beautiful than I expected. It reminds me of Cordonia.”
“Isn’t that the whole point of beautiful things?” Theo asks.
“What is?”
“That they connect you to some larger beauty. For everyone else, her portrait connects them to history, and what Cordonia is today due to her. For you, the connection is Gabriel, and through him, Liam.”
I don’t answer him and continue staring at Kenna. When other people inch forward to look, I step to the side and pull Theo away.
His words remind me of Liam’s constant worry of what kind of king he would be. I miss how he would confide in me. The longing for him is heightened after seeing the portrait.
I turn to Theo and ask, “Do you think Gabe would ever be able to bring change?”
“What do you mean?” He looks straight ahead, worried only about getting to the exhibit.
“Like... what will his story be? And our’s for that matter?”
“We don’t fit into a story, Riley. We don’t have a story.”
He leads me down a few more hallways, and when we reach a few signs that say “Grand Opening,” he slows his pace and says:
“We can’t choose who we are, and whatever that is, we can’t escape it. There’s no escape for anyone. Even the beautiful stories are like soft fruit about to spoil.”
“Do you think that’s what Gabriel is?” I turn to him. “A beautiful story about to spoil?”
“Beautiful? In his own childish way, yes. About to spoil? Not yet.”
We look around at oil paintings I remember having seen before. I look around, wondering at the stories of people in the art work and the people viewing the art. Theo looks around intently at everything in front of him. I see him take out his phone and turn off the flash to take a picture of some things for Ella.
Throughout our decade of marriage, my anger at him never fully doused, but I eventually came to forgive him. In a way I think he saved me. In other ways, in the ways that matter, he hurt me. But Gabriel and Eleanor both have a normal childhood. Right here and right now, they’re all I care about. Maybe one day soon I’d be able to tell Liam everything. I could tell him how sorry I was, how I never forgot him.
“You know—” Theo taps my shoulder, “—if you don’t mind, I’m going to go take a look in the other room. Do you want to come with?”
“Um,” I say, recovering from my thoughts. “I’ll be fine. Do you wanna met in the gift shop?”
“Sure, that’s fine.” He walks away.
I look around aimlessly for about another ten minutes, staring at details of paintings from past centuries. I wonder at what the painters went through and what their lives were. I remember Hana telling me in the ruins that it didn’t matter what people in the future thought about you. I feel empty without her. I wished she was here to give me her insight.
I wished that Drake was here to give gloomy comments. If Maxwell were here, we all probably would have gotten kicked out. Liam would tell us the historical significance of each piece.
I miss them so much that I feel empty.
I thought that I would forget about them after so long. But none of us got closure. Maybe if we had all said goodbye properly, everything would have been easier.
I begin to walk out of the gallery, trying to remember where the gift shop was, when something strange happens. A museum guard runs across the gallery, carrying something in his arms.
And then another guard flew across the room, screaming.
Heads go up, and everyone looks around at each other quizzically. In the next instant, there’s a warm burst of air and smoke. The painting in front of me, The Dance Class, is caked with ash. A second later, there’s a black flash, and I hear debris flying around me. Hot wind slams into me, throwing me against stone.
I remember thinking that I have to pick up... someone. From somewhere. I have to get on a plane to tell someone something. But I can’t see anything. Everything is black.

((for everyone who sent a request i swear I am working on them and all of them are in my drafts! for now, this is a wattpad request so i wanted to get it out the way :) i have not forgotten about u!))
They'll love you
y/n turned herself in the mirror over-examining every part of herself to make sure she was absolutely perfect for tonight. it was a party, but not just any party. her boyfriend niall, who she's been dating for eight months (give or take) invited her to celebrate the success of the 'Made in the A.M' album. she was pumped of course, getting to spend time with niall, who she really didn't see as often due to his busy work schedule was like a gift sent from heaven— that is until she realized she was meeting the rest of one direction.
it wasn't like she didn't want to, no, she thought nothing was better than getting to know the group of friends, family even, that niall spent most of his time with. the thing was that niall never was one for relationships; he was the only one in the band who wasn't with someone 24/7, and yes of course he had some short term relationships but they were all private and never got to the point of meeting the people in his life he values the most. that all changed with y/n, his world, his whole heart. when they hit their five month anniversary he took her straight to his family who showered her in love and affection, which she reciprocated almost immediately. she got along well with the whole horan household, even little theo who was now utterly attached to his new play mate, as he called it. she just fit in so well, even so much so that his dad told him she's for sure a keeper.
of course dating niall horan with you also being in the modeling industry was not something that everyone would bat their eyes at and look the other direction. everywhere you went cameras did too; soon the world knew about you and niall and honestly neither one of you cared. there were pictures of you holding hands, laughing, and even niall at one of your runway shows. soon that turned into rumors, then confirmation, which then turned into all the one direction boys on his ass about meeting the girl that made his cheeks grow bright red when she was brought up. they teased him about it, because that's just how they were but in the deepest parts of their hearts they all genuinely we're beyond happy that he finally was with someone that made him happy.
thus why they practically begged niall to bring you along to the party, which then led him to ask you one night in bed after you two had just calmed down from what you were sure was the best sex you ever had. you were hesitant, but nonetheless you agreed but now that the day was here you weren't so sure anymore.
niall was already dressed and downstairs waiting for you while you critiqued every inch of your outfit, fighting with your own mind on whether you should just call off everything and disapoint niall and the boys who were more excited to meet you than you thought. after ten minutes passed niall ran up the stairs to see what was going on, only to frown when he saw your helpless expression staring back at him in the mirror. "what's wrong babe?" he sighed, hugging you from behind and laying his head in the crook of your neck. you let out a deep breath relishing in the feeling and letting your fingers graze through the tips of his blonde hair "I'm just nervous..dont think I look good. I don't know" you whispered, not flinching when his lips made contact with your cheek. he hummed quietly "I think you beautiful love. wanna rip this dress right off you actually" niall, the very promiscuous man said with a smirk that only grew larger when you laughed rolling your eyes. he laughed along with you, making the conversation happier then added, "but seriously babe, your absolutely gorgeous. don't know why you're nervous.. they're so excited to meet ya and i know they'll love you." he finished, his irish accent ringing in your ears with reassurance.
next thing you knew you were partying the night away with a drunk niall by your side, sluring words together that even you couldn't understand due to how much alcohol was in his system. he held you close the whole night, not once letting you leave his grasp even when louis tried to get you to the dance floor. speaking of louis, the boys loved you. they saw the way you looked at him, even when he was being an idiot and drinking more than he could hold down. of course you tried to moderate his drinking (because God knows he's gonna be hung over and upset tomorrow) but with the boys talking to you and joking around you suddenly forgot the count of drinks he had taken.
"ready to go babe?" you shouted over the music once you noticed his slight tilt in the way he walked. he shook his head closing his eyes and letting his body move to the music "nooo, we haven't even partied yet" niall shouted, yet the lot of you were in a circle partying the night away. harry laughed taking another cup of beer away from niall and switching it with water to which he pouted at. "think it's time for y/n to take you home bro" liam said with a smile which then fell into embarrassment when everyone began to laugh. "not like that— gosh, you guys are gross!" liam laughed as louis held his stomach while he wheezed out a laugh. it really wasn't that funny but they were all drunk and childish so really, it was. you rolled your eyes laughing then began to steady niall seeing he was becoming dead weight on your shoulder. "okay we're gonna go now, bye guys, it was really nice meeting you all" you said with a genuine smile which they all happily returned.
the boys said their goodbyes while hugging both you and niall before harry came stumbling over to you along with the rest of the boys just as you were heading out with a much more sober niall (due to the water you basically made him chug down.) you shot him a confused look before he spoke up "can you actually drive us y/n? we're all way to drunk and our driver's caught up in traffic so he won't be here for another hour, sorry if we're bothering—" you cut his rambling off with a hand on his shoulder "it's alright. you guys all get in the back" you said, gesturing to your black mercedes amg off in the distance before adding "and don't ruin my seats" as they scurried off in a race to your car.
you knew this was gonna be a long night once they began to fight over what song to play and liam and louis couldn't seem to decided whether they wanted the windows up or down but you we're glad they liked you and accepted you as niall's girlfriend.
and they too we're glad niall had found himself someone so down to earth and nice as you.
the end! this was a request from my wattpad which you can go follow if you want (@harrysafternoon), i have a lot more oneshots there that gravitate more towards harry but I do have all the other boys on there too.
hope you liked it :) it's kinda rushed but i tried!

Liam meets with Luka again and learns a bit more about the other werewolf pack. The friendship is blossoming.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Thank you for dropping me off." Liam climbed out of the passenger seat of Savannah's car and closed the passenger door behind him. "Don't forget to text me!" The blonde yelled through the open window before she reversed her car. Liam waved at her and watched her drive away before he finally made his way to the front door of his house. Luka, Savannah, Maddie, and he had sat together in the bar and talked for a while until they all had to disperse in different directions. Maddie and Luka had matters to attend to in regards to business and coven, Savannah had plans with her friends later on but offered to drop Liam off. He had gladly accepted her offer since it saved him from riding the bus during summer. Would Theo or someone else had come to get Liam? Absolutely but his Betas were not his chauffeurs.
Liam unlocked the door now and stepped into the house. He heard the tv running, the bass of Mike's music coming from downstairs. As always, it filled Liam with the undeniable feeling of home and happiness. Here he belonged. He hung his keys up and walked further into the house. Theo and Mason lounged on the opposite ends of the couch; Theo with a book in his hand and Mason with his notebook. Corey sat in front of the couch table and solved a puzzle. Tim sat in one of the chairs and watched tv. "Hey, you're back." Mason checked his watch. "Way later than I expected you to be. So it was good?" The others stopped what they were doing and turned to Liam. Tim even muted the series he had been watching. "Mixed, I would say." Liam kissed Theo and then sat next to his mate. Theo licked his lips. "Have you've been drinking lemon shots?" "I'm concerned how you got that from just one kiss", Liam remarked. Then he decided to answer Mason's question. "First of, those Alphas really think they're something else. Something I'm not. I don't have enough millions in my bank account to ever have them accept me." "That bad? I'm sorry." Corey grimaced. His parents were like that as well and he despised them for it. "Most of them, yeah. But I met three people who are very cool. First of, Mase, were cheetahs and vampire are a thing." Mason squeaked and pushed his notebook out of the way. "Tell me everything!" "The hotel had such old Hollywood glam style. Not my chic but whatever. First I met Savannah. She's the cheetah. Alpha of a very small pack here in Seattle. Outgoing, very direct, and honest. She talked to me before I even entered the meeting room. Was her first time too. We kind of stuck together. Then we met Meadow, the vampire. She has been to meetings before but she does not like the Alphas. She has a human best friend and told me he also has some notes about the supernatural community. I invited the two of them here cause I thought you and him could maybe check your notes, combine them so to speak. He surely will have things you don't have and vice versa, Mason and Corey." "Great idea." Corey helped Mason with the Bestiary and he would also profit from meeting Asher. If Asher wanted to follow the invitation. Maddie had said it would not be a problem but Liam would wait for clarification from Asher himself. "You said you met three people. Who's the third?" Theo asked. "Luka. He's the only other cool werewolf I met. Also older than us but his pack is from around. They're more modern and open-minded. Like ours is." "Sounds good. All in all, it seemed as if the meeting wasn't for nothing." Mason smiled. "And vampires. Wait! How was she there? Can she walk in the sun? Did the other Alphas wrangle her into the hotel? Is she traveling in a coffin? Did she try to drink your blood? What was she like??" "Jesus, Mason." Corey shook his head. But Liam gladly answered every question his Emissary had. "I'll stay in contact with them", he finally ended and his mate, as well as Consultant and Emissary, voiced their agreement. "Liam?" Tim said shyly. "Didn't you put up a rule of not having strangers come to the house? When you said you invited the vampire and her friend here, are you not breaking your own rule?"
Shit. Oh shit.
Liam had completely forgotten about that rule. Yes, he had told his Betas not to bring strangers into their new home. And here he was breaking his very own rule. Great, Dunbar! "No...I mean...yeah, I did....But...." Tim got up to leave the room. "I mean, you're the Alpha and therefore it's your decision. You can do whatever you want. I just remembered the rule." He gave an insecure shrug and then left the room in the direction of his room. Liam huffed. "You forgot you had put the rule in place, right?" Theo guessed. "Yep." Liam closed his eyes for a moment and scolded himself mentally. Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! "I mean, you are the Alpha. We can still follow the rules but what you do is up to you", Corey suggested softly. Liam's eyes snapped open. "No!" He said sharply. "We're not running a pack like that! If rules are in place, we all have to follow them. Including me. Especially me." "Then you have to decide what to do with that situation. You could always meet with Meadow and her friend somewhere else", Mason suggested. "No. The rule made sense back then but not it's not feasible anymore. And I will tell Tim that."
The young Alpha got up from the couch and marched downstairs to his Beta's room. He knocked, waited a few moments, then opened the door. Liam peeked into the room. "Hey. Have a minute?" Tim had sat on his desk and now spun around in his chair, a mixture of shock and surprise written on his face. But then he caught himself and nodded. Liam walked in and closed the door behind him. "You can sit on the bed if you want." Tim pointed at said furniture piece and Liam sat down on the edge. He rubbed his palms over his thighs. "You're right. I set this rule and I completely and utterly forgot about it. Had you not said anything, it would have left my mind forever. I am sorry about that." "It's okay. As I said, you're the Alpha. You make the rules, you sure can break the rules." Tim tried his best to give off the impression it was really okay. But Liam was stubborn. "It's not okay", he stated calmly. "When I set the rule, it seemed reasonable to me and came from a place of being worried about everyone and our home. I wanted to be absolutely sure nothing could get to us. That was weeks ago. I should have kept it in mind and change it again after Ever cast the spell and we were more secure. I didn't. I fucked up and I am sorry about that." Tim opened his mouth to protest but Liam was faster: "I am grateful for you guys calling me out. Tim, you're my friend, my family, my Beta. You and the others absolutely should call me out when I do something wrong. I'm not perfect and I will make these mistakes. But only with this echo from you, I can improve and become a better leader. I'm not mad at you and you don't have to be afraid to speak up. This rule was okay back then but now is not anymore. Therefore I cut it. Gone! Just like that! thank you for bringing this up. I mean it. But what will never happen is that I set rules for you and then don't follow them myself. This is not the type of leader I wanna be. Okay?" Tim gnawed on his lip. "I would not care so much but this is the first house I am not judged and ridiculed in. I can be myself and I want to protect it as much as I can", he confessed. "So do I, Timmy", Liam promised him. "I would never let anyone in here I might consider not fully trustworthy." Tim considered. "So you trust Meadow and her friend?" "I do, yeah." Liam nodded. "Do you consider them good allies for the pack?" The twenty-year-old had to laugh. "My brain's not wired like that." Liam played with his hands. "Theo is good at that, Mason too. But I don't think strategically. On the lacrosse field, yeah, that's my jam, but not when it comes to people. I meet a person and I either like or dislike them. Maybe I trust too easy and maybe I will make a fool out of myself but then I have to take responsibility for it. I can't, I don't want to meet someone and be like Your name is what? Oh, you will be a splendid ally to my pack. This is not me and I will probably never get there. Hence why I keep Theo around", he joked at the end. Tim chuckled but then sighed. "I know what you mean. I'm not like that either. It would feel...I don't know...like..." They both thought about it. "Like using someone", they both finally said at the same time and this time they both laugh. "Mike is good at it too. To easily find out how people can be useful to him upon meeting them." "Maybe it's a survival tactic", Liam put out a theory. "How can you help me in my current situation to get a better stand and survive. Would explain why Theo is so good at it. He and Mike both needed to survive in a world that didn't want them." Tim raised his shoulders. "My survival tactic is not being seen or heard. Not draw any attention." "Well, I hope you don't feel like that anymore in the house or around the pack in general." Liam sounded like a father, he realized that himself. But wasn't an Alpha supposed to be a father sometimes? Tim shook his head. "Not always. But it's hard to unlearn what I learned for nineteen years. You know, you guys are great! You make me feel welcome! Don't think anybody else, please!"
He moved his hands around and knocked over a small can filled with brushes of all kinds. They clattered to the floor. Liam knelt and helped him pick them up again. "Didn't know you were painting, Timmy. Those are many brushes." His Beta turned a concerning shade of red and stuttered. "I...No...Not...Irgs. I don't paint! Pictures! I don't paint pictures!" "Then what do you paint?" Liam had never seen Tim being creative with brushes in any shape or form. From how his friend acted, one would think he was doing forbidden things with those brushes. "You don't have to tell me, of course. I'm just curious." You could basically see Tim's thought process on his face. Denial, fear, nervousness, fear again, shame. Finally, he pointed to the other side of the room. There was a large board with something tiny on it. Curiosity got the better of Liam and he stepped closer. Tiny little figurines were placed all over the board, along with trees, and various other little things. There was even a tiny truck looking amazingly similar to Theo's truck. And there was a car looking like Liam's. Wait a second. "Are those figurines of the pack?" Tim rushed next to Liam. "I can stop with that if you think it's weird. It's just, I like making those little scenes and take inspiration from real life." He gently pushed a tiny figurine in a blue jersey. A tiny Liam in lacrosse gear, Liam realized. "You've got to be kidding me! This is awesome! Can I touch it?" Liam was in awe. Tim blushed furiously but then gently placed lacrosse Liam on Liam's palm. The young Alpha turned the figurine to inspect it from all sides. For such a small thing, the details were incredibly detailed. "I make the figurines from a special clay and then I paint them. I hope you don't think it's weird. I am sorry if you do. I'm not a creep, I promise!" Tim almost stumbled over his words in his haste to get them out. "You make them? This is incredible, Tim! Why did you never show us this? That's not creepy or weird, this is fucking amazing! You're crazy talented." Liam could not stop praising the guy. And Tim beamed under the praise. Once he realized Liam did not find anything weird about that and actually loved it, he preened. "Does anybody in the pack know you're doing this?" "Mike knows." Tim smiled shyly. "But I made him swear he wouldn't tell a soul. Made him swear on something important to him." "Uh uh. What did he swear on?" Now Tim blushed again. "Our friendship." "Aw." Those two were cute and deserved each other. Mike because he needed a calm anchor in his life, Tim because he needed someone to speak up when he couldn't himself. "But seriously, Timmy, those are cool. I'm not going to say anything but if you ever want to share with the rest, I can already assure you, they will be as amazed as I was. It's a really cool hobby. I imagine it takes a lot of time?" "Oh, it does. But I like to modulate all the figurines and then paint them. It's calm work and I can think while doing it." Tim began chatting about his hobby. Now that Liam knew it seemed like a dam had burst and he could share it with the Alpha. Liam willingly listened.
****** "I'm glad you could clear the air with Tim." Theo pulled the covers back and crawled in bed. Liam was already under the covers and had scrolled through his phone but now put the device away to concentrate on the talk with his mate. "I'm glad too. It is important to me to get those kinds of replies so I can reflect on myself. I'm not doing everything right. But I'm working on it." "You're doing a lot of things already right. The things you're not doing right, well they partly make you Liam. Not perfect but human and very loveable." "How were you ever the chimera of death?" Liam teased and Theo smacked him with his pillow. Liam laughed. "I am trying here to compliment you and you do not appreciate it? You should be ashamed of yourself!" Theo wailed. Liam laughed louder. "Naw, you will survive that one, big boy. You know I love you." To prove it, he pressed his mate down on the mattress and kissed him passionately. Theo laughed into the kiss but returned it soon enough. "I know you love me", he mumbled after they parted. "And I love you, Lee." Liam was proud to hear that and he smirked. His phone chimed and he let go of Theo to grab it. "It's from Luka. He's asking if I want to meet up sometime next week. Cool." Liam already typed an answer. "You really like the three, right?" Theo mused. Liam looked up from his phone screen. Theo was watching him with questioning eyes but there was no sign of jealousy as he had shown with Scott in the beginning. He sighed. "I do. It's strange. They're all older than me and yet they never acted like they had to explain the world to me. Never a patronizing word, never telling me I'm still so young. I was just Liam and from the get-go, I was part of this little gang. I didn't have to prove myself to them. Because it felt like I had already proved myself prior to meeting them and they didn't even care. It was nice. I wasn't...." "You weren't the fourteen-year-old?" Theo asked amusedly and yet with compassion. "Yeah", Liam confirmed. "I wasn't even Liam the twenty-year-old. I was just...Liam." He fell silent for a few beats. "Doesn't mean I will leave you guys behind. You're my family." "Nobody's thinking that!" Theo furrowed his brows. "If we did, we would be bad friends and family members. We all are individuals outside of this pack and we all will make friendships without the pack being involved. If not, we would be one lousy pack. What we are is, happy you found people appreciating you and liking you for who you are." He reached out and pushed Liam's chin up so the couple looked at each other. "Liam, you have so many things going on for you. Your age shouldn't be one of the first things to notice." It was still strange to hear those things with such sincerity and Liam swallowed dryly. "What's the first thing?" He asked softly. Theo smiled lovingly. "Your good heart. And your eyes. Not because of their color - even though it's a beautiful color - but because they shine with such honesty and happiness." They stared at each other, Liam lost for words. He found his voice only after moments passed. "Were you always that poetic?" "You bring out the best in me", the ex-chimera replied and then kissed Liam deeply.
****** "Not to be pessimistic or something but would it not have been better to plant the flowers after the heatwave?" Liam stood in the open front door and watched Brett watering their plants. Nope", the tall werewolf replied and carried on with his task. "Because?" "Because I wanted to do it now", Brett simply answered. He gave Liam a cheeky grin. "That's reason enough." "Why would I ever doubt that?" Liam remarked teasingly. "Careful before I water you. You could use some growing", Brett teased back. The next moment, he was distracted by the red convertible oldtimer rolling into their driveway. The car was highly polished, not one speck of dirt to be seen, and it was sparkling in the sun. "Holy crap, that is awesome." Brett didn't even realize he was watering the ground instead of the plants, too busy staring at the car. It stopped in front of the entrance and Luka in the driver seat smirked. "Hi." "Hi." Liam laughed. "Nice car." "It's the pack car when one of us wants to go for a nice ride. Holden, a pack member, resto moded it but he lends it to everyone. Thought it's a nice day, why not take it?" He took off his sunglasses and seemed quite proud of his Beta's skills. Liam had no interest in cars but it was a pretty one and why not? He had no objections to driving around in this. Mike and Theo came out of the house. "Dude, that car is sick!" Mike jumped down the stairs and rounded it. Luka preened. "I'll forward it to Holden." Theo was also circling the car, as amazed by it as Mike and Brett were. Liam could only shake his head. Who knew those guys were such car freaks? "Luka, that one over there is Brett and that guy there is Mike. And that is Theo." "Nice to meet you." Theo was the only one to actually shake Luka's hand, the other two simply waved and then continued to fawn over the car. "Nice to meet you too", Luka replied. "You're Liam's boyfriend, right?" "I am", Theo proudly confirmed. "Bring him back in one piece." "I swear on my life", Luka promised in a playful serious tone. Liam grunted. "I can hear you guys! Theo, maybe I won't bring Luka back in one piece. How about that?" "As long as you bring the car back in one piece!" Mike cut in and made them all laugh. "Okay, now that some of my Betas embarrassed me in front of you, I'll get my sunglasses and we can go", Liam called out to the older Alpha and ran into the house and upstairs.
It took him a little while to find his sunglasses (he really needed to try and be tidier) but when he found them under some papers, Liam let out a triumphant cry and ran back downstairs. His Betas were involved in a conversation with Luka (surprisingly not about cars) which Liam now interrupted. "I'm ready." "Great. Hop in." Liam opened the passenger door and marveled at how smooth this was going. He somehow expected the door to get stuck because of age. But this car looked and felt like a brand new one. "See you guys later. Don't burn the house down", he joked. "Yes, dad!" All three Betas chimed in unison. Theo smirked and came to the passenger side to give Liam a quick kiss. "Have fun", he mumbled and Liam nodded. "Bye, guys. See you next time!" Luka called out before he started the car and soon they rolled down the driveway.
"You're one of the few people in this car to use the seatbelt immediately", he informed Liam when he turned into the street. The young Alpha looked down. "I do this in every car. My mother drilled this into me from a young age. I could not drive in a car without buckling up." "My mom was like that too. She always said just because were werewolves didn't mean we had to challenge fate. And she got mad if she saw one of us without a seatbelt on. Not just her own kids but basically everyone. There is a story where she refused to drive another Alpha's wife to the airport because the lady refused to put hers on. It's said they sat in the car for forty minutes until my dad went looking for them." Liam started laughing. "That's dedication. It's that the temper you were talking about?" Now Luka laughed. "My mom was stubborn. I'm too. And my sister is as well. Fun times during puberty, I can tell you. Good thing my dad was good at finding middle ground." "Your parents seemed like an amazing couple. Their personalities really matched with each other, from what I already heard." He wanted to know more about his new friend. And Liam wanted to share things about himself as well. He believed Savannah was right, this could become great friendships. "They were the perfect match even though their personalities were as different as they can be. But they balanced each other out. They were incredible Alphas for our pack." "You say Alphas. Were both real Alphas? Or just an Alpha couple?" Luka stopped at a crosswalk and let some pedestrians pass. "Technically, if you base it on red eyes and stamina, my father was the Alpha. My mother was a Beta but no one would have dared to treat her like one. Or like she was just dad's wife and mate. The way she cared for her pack, the way she made decisions, the way she spoke, she was an Alpha. There is so much more to an Alpha than red eyes. It's all about behavior and the relationship to the pack members." "I don't base it on the red eyes. Theo, he's also a Beta, but we call him Second Alpha. He takes over if I can't. We're the Alpha couple. Why should the color of somebody's eyes define their role?" Luka agreed with Liam's point of view. "There are some packs without an Alpha with red eyes. One Beta is in charge and guides them." "I didn't know that, that's awesome. But wouldn't that be an Alpha by conquest in the long run?" "Depends on how serious the pack takes it. Not all packs are focused on Alpha and Betas, some are more lenient. There are so many kinds of packs. Not just different species but different versions. There are also many Alpha Omegas around." "Alphas without a pack? So wolves with the Alpha spark." "Yeah." "Huh." Liam had never considered that. To him, Omegas had always been those wolves. With normal wolf powers. What were normal wolf powers? Betas? Liam guessed so. He never bothered to really make a distinction or think about what exactly Omegas were. "I kind of don't know a lot about the supernatural. I know how to fight and about several evil beings but all those connections between weres, species, what other magical beings are there, rituals, I know nothing about." Luka didn't take it badly. "At what age were you bitten?" "Fourteen." "You're twenty now. Which means I'm twelve years older than you. Trust and believe me when I tell you I didn't know that much more when I was your age. Plus I have the unfair advantage of being born in a werewolf family." He smiled impishly. Liam grinned. Yet he still insisted on his opinion. "I still think the first few years as a werewolf did not prepare me for that."
Thus he found himself telling Luka everything, from how Scott bit him to the hyenas. It was somewhat therapeutic to talk about all this with another wolf without knowing him beforehand. He didn't need to find periphrases for things, could tell it how it happened and didn't need to sugarcoat the events. He also could be as open as possible without having to worry about insulting some old friends. It had been the same with Byron.
He talked until they parked in the parking lot of the restaurant they had picked to grab something to eat. Liam didn't know the place but according to Luka it had delicious food and you could sit outside under trees so it would not be too hot. "See? That's the reason why teenagers shouldn't become Alphas", Luka said matter of factly and killed the engine. "I don't mean this condescendingly but it is what it is. Maybe if Scott had been a born werewolf it would have been different but I understand why this was all complicated. And why you didn't learn about the supernatural community. You had enough other problems to take care of." "I just wished I could have learned more. Maybe being an Alpha would be easier then", Liam mumbled. "Nah." Luka denied. "Becoming an Alpha does not mean you suddenly get access to this knowledge. It's not like a hatch opens and it's flowing into your brain. You have to make mistakes to find your footing as an Alpha." He unbuckled his seatbelt. "I was prepared to become an Alpha after my father's death for years. It could have become anybody in the pack but since I'm the oldest it was kind of expected for me to take over afterward. But it's not possible to really prepare someone for the weight we shoulder as Alphas. For the magnitude of responsibility settling in. It's something we just feel. And every Alpha has to find their own way to cope with that." Liam frowned. "How do I know I'm doing the right thing then?" Luka gave him a brotherly nudge. "I'd say you're on a good way already. When the first Alpha came to town, your Betas followed you into a potentially deadly fight. They were willing to die by your side. That's a type of loyalty you cannot buy or blackmail. It's loyalty coming from the soul and the heart. And it's only happening because an Alpha made the right decision for those Betas. You're young, Liam, one of the youngest Alphas I've ever met but you marched into the Alpha meeting without a care in the world. Do you think any of those Alphas would have done that at the age of twenty? From my point of view, you're doing absolutely great. Don't focus so much on being perfect and rather follow your heart and gut and you're set. You will be fine." It felt good to hear that. Byron told him that often enough but now a second experienced werewolf told Liam the same thing. He felt flattered. Those men saw him as equal, not just as a teenager. Saw eye-to-eye with him and respected him the same way he respected them. Enough to give Liam a soaring feeling in his chest. "Thanks." He clapped Luka's shoulder. "No come on, I'm hungry."
They exited the car and walked to the restaurant entrance. The hostess greeted them with a friendly smile and an even friendlier one when she got the first good glance at Luka. Liam was friends with Brett so this was not new to him. He was flabbergasted still. "How do you do that?" He had to inquire once they sat outside on their table and the hostess left to get menus for them. "Do what?" Luka acted innocently but his grin and the sparkle in his eyes betrayed him. The hostess came back and made a show to slowly put the menus on the table. She didn't pay Liam any mind and that was fine, he was mated, instead just gave Luka a coy smile. "Don't hesitate to ask me in case you need anything." "Will do. Thank you", he repaid her with a charming smile of his own and she left in a slow, seductive motion. On top of the menus, she left a little note with digits behind. "You barely talked to her and still got her number. Brett managed to pull this off as well. How? Not that I will ever need to try since I have Theo but how the fuck do you pull that off?" Liam could not find any satisfying explanation. Luka had gazed back at the hostess but now his head snapped back. "Luck, I guess. And charm, maybe." "Maybe, uh uh." Liam snickered. Luka had a certain boyish charm about him and that made him attractive. Not taking life too seriously, giving everything an easier vibe. Liam also understood the hostess because the deep green t-shirt Luka was wearing brought out his eyes nicely and accentuated his fit body perfectly. "I like sex. What can I say? Everywhere. No matter what country I am." Luka was not embarrassed to share this. "Have you always been like this?" "Frankly? Yeah. I always liked to flirt and when I was old enough to actually become sexually active, I saw no harm in there. I don't play. That's how my parents raised me. My mother always said: Go and have fun with whoever you want to have fun. But don't break hearts if you don't have to. Be upfront. If it's just sex, say it. Saves you and other people heartbreak. I always followed that. Yes, I had relationships but most of the time I have been single and had one-night-stands. Or several night stands. Whatever. The minute I'm interested in someone or in a relationship, I'm faithful. I can't stand cheaters." "That's the right answer. Sex is nice, with the right person even better, but I don't like players. Nice to hear someone having values."
Liam took a look inside the menu. Right on cue, a waiter appeared. "Hello gentlemen, I'm your server for today. Would you care for a drink?" The Alphas looked at each other. "Just water is fine for me", Liam decided. It was hot, despite the trees providing shade, and he would become thirsty, he knew himself. "Water is good", Luka decided himself and the waiter went to fetch their drinks. "You said no matter what country you are in. Are you traveling a lot?" Liam had picked up on that. "For work yeah." "What are you doing for a living?" "I deal in car parts for either oldtimer or pimped-out cars. Like the convertible. Holden is the mechanic, we work together. He screws the cars together, I contract the clients and the manufacturers. We have business all over the world since some of the parts are very rare. So I traveled a lot. For periods of time, I wasn't home for months. I never had my own apartment because it made no sense to pay for something I used. Tried it once and after weeks my landlord called and said he just wanted to check if I was still alive since I never came around. So I moved out again and if I stayed home, I stayed with the Alphas." "And that was okay? For you to be gone so long?" "My parents ket an open door policy. If something important came up, they called us home but aside from that, we were free to leave as long as we wanted. We knew we could always return to the pack house. No matter how late, even in the middle of the night, we were always welcome. We all made use of that rule over the years."
The waiter brought their drinks and took their order. When he left the two alone again, Liam raised his glass. "Good idea to meet up again", he praised. "Well, Savannah said it right, it's the beginning of wonderful friendships. So of course." Luka smiled and they clinked their glasses together. Liam took a sip. Perfect, cool water, he never drank anything better. He put his glass down again and savored the sip. "Uhm, I never got the chance to ask. How many Betas do you have? We're only talking about me." "I don't mind. You're good at telling a story and explaining things. Somebody ever told you that?" Luka had put his glass down as well. Liam made an incredulous face. "No. What would they? I'm kind of dumb." It had slipped out faster than Liam could have stopped it. Luka's frown was almost instantly. "What asshole told you that?" "No one. Life experience, if you will. I'm not the brightest." "You don't have to be a genius but you really don't appear dumb, Liam. Don't believe it when people tell you that. They're just haters." It had the same vibe as a worried older brother giving a stern talking to his younger sibling and Liam chuckled. He was a big brother but not a little brother and yeah he called Scott his brother sometimes but that was different. Maybe because Scott was only two years older than Liam himself. They came from the same walk of life, small town, maybe that was also a factor? Liam could not really put his finger on it but it hit differently with Luka. "Okay", he said to end this topic. "I will remember this talk." "Good", Luka looked stern but then he smiled. "To get back to the question, seven Betas. A few less than you have." He leaned back in his chair. "There is my younger sister Delaney. Younger by three years. An absolute firecracker. If she gets angry, if you piss her off, she will cuss at you and rant for hours if you let her. Especially in the background of a phone conversation. Very entertaining, if I'm being honest." Luka laughed. But the love for his sister was evident in his words. "Then there is Simon. He is...was dad's best friend. They've been to school and college together and he acted like some sort of advisor for the pack. Helped with international deals and connections. He's my godfather and like a second dad. I'm happy I still have him after I lost dad. It doesn't bear contemplating if he would have been also gone..." Luka trailed off. Liam managed a compassionate smile. "I am sorry for your loss. Losing somebody we love is never easy." He touched his collar bone where the Lion King tattoo was hidden under his shirt. Luka appreciated the sentiment. He continued his list on a lighter note. "With Simon came Holden, his son. Holden's just a few months younger than I am, we grew up together." "Holden's mom is not part of the pack?" "No. She never wanted to get married or have kids. Yet she married Simon and got pregnant with Holden. Weeks after his birth she handed Simon the infant and announced: I don't want to be a wife or a mother. Here's the child, I'll leave your life for good. He does not have to search for me, I want nothing to do with any of you. My lawyer will send you the documents where I signed my rights away and the divorce papers. Got her suitcase and left. From that moment on, mom and dad gave a hand to Simon. Holt and I basically grew up like brothers. He annoys Delaney the same way I do." Liam giggled. "Are younger siblings not something fun? I have a younger brother. He's ten but living at the lake." "Aw, they're so cute at that age. And then they start stating their own opinions and become brats." It was obvious Luka didn't mean a thing he said about his sister. They both began to laugh. "Holden's a great guy but he can be a hothead. Impulsive and very brash. Those are not his finest moments and we have to hold him back. But he's fiercely protective of the pack. Would do anything for us. Another one of my Betas is Sandro. Alessandro. My second in command. We met during freshmen orientation in college and clicked almost instantly. Have been inseparable ever since. When I brought him home the first time, mom looked at dad and said: Look, it's Luka in another body. Our parents often joked how they could each take the wrong son home and nobody would notice cause we're so similar. It's eerie. "
Their food came out and they interrupted their talk to thank the waiter and dig in before Luka resumed talking. "Sandro was human when we met but after a while, he noticed my family was hiding something. He confronted me and after consulting with my Alphas I came clean to him. Thank god cause when he was twenty-five, he go involved with a lone Alpha and said Alpha got a bit too excited in bed. Right before a full moon. Sandro showed up at our doorstep, bloodied and already on the verge of transforming. Dad took one look at him and dragged him to the basement where we keep a cage for those things.  I stayed with him the whole night and after that, it was more or less clear he would become part of the pack. Sandro helped me a lot after my parents' death. He took charge when I couldn't do it and held the pack together. That's why he became my second in command, just like Theo is for you." Luka drank from his water. "We have two other women in the pack. Bryn and Lynn. Laugh if you want, their rhyming names are a running joke in our pack. Bryn I know for almost her whole life. How fit are you in werewolf genetics?" Liam snorted. "That a thing? I'd give it a solid zero." "To keep it simple: The werewolf gene is dominant most of the time. Werewolf parents will have werewolf children. Even if only one parent is a wolf, the child likely will be one as well. The chances are even higher by born wolves rather than bitten ones. But if you have several generations of werewolves mixing with humans there is a slight possibility to have a human child even as werewolf parents. In Bryn's family case it was the opposite. There had been some wolves here and there, some of them had been in contact with my father's pack, but for generations, there were only humans. Until Bryn was born. Boom. Human parents with a werewolf baby." "You're kidding me!" Liam was amazed at how crazy nature could get. "Absolutely not. But her family knew about werewolves and so they knew the name of my father's pack. They grabbed their daughter and moved closer to us, showed up at our door, and kindly asked my parents to help them. To make having yet another child running around somewhat plausible, we started calling Bryn Delany's and my second cousin. We kept this til this day and mostly refer to her as our cousin. Lynn, on the other hand, was bitten after a night of clubbing and then left to die. Mom found her somewhere in the ditch and brought her home. We were not sure she would survive but that girl is tough as nails. Don't underestimate her." "She reminds me of Sadie. One should never underestimate Sadie as well. She will kick your ass and probably gnaw on your bones without ruining her makeup." "Somehow that description also fits Maddie and Savannah", Luka realized. Liam had to agree with that. "Anyway, you said you had seven Betas. One's missing." "The latest addition to the pack before my parents died. Will. He's Sandro's cousin, full-blood-related this time. They have been close while growing up and he visited one time. This family is good at picking up things and he got curious. We never got to explain to him everything cause a hostile pack attacked and he was wounded badly. Dad turned him in an attempt to save his life. It worked and Will moved to live with us. Funny enough, he and Holden clicked almost as instantly as Sandro and I did. They just balance each other a bit better. Hopefully. One's a hothead, the other is too cocky for his own good sometimes. I think the day these two linked, Simon's world kinda ended. He had several gray hairs more after that day. Lynn once kept a tally which one had to get bailed out of jail more often..." Luka tilted his head. "Huh, wondered what happened to that. I think I was the third place..." Liam smirked and Luka gave him an innocent smile. "I mean, we are all law-abiding citizens and never do anything wrong. We stick together and love each other, as a family should." "So do we. My pack and I. They're my family and I don't want to miss anyone of them." "Tell you what, Liam, why don't you and you pack visit us? We could have a BBQ party. Next Friday, is that good?" "That's a great idea. I'll check with the pack and text you."
__________________________________________________
When I started this story, I imagined how many chapters this might will have and thought sixty was a good number. Now we are at chapter 60 and this story is far from over. I can't believe that. It's absolutely amazing and I want to thank every single one of my readers for the support. You all are amazing! Thank you!!!
In regards to this chapter, I like the friendship between Luka and Liam. They both are on the same wavelength and get each other. And it was fun working out Luka's Betas. In the next chapter, both packs will fully meet each other. I am excited.

Teen Wolf Season 5 is the reason I can’t take Scott and Stiles as Best Friends seriously anymore. (Both in canon and in fan fictions.) Scott yells at Stiles, judges Stiles, patronizes Stiles, emotionally blackmails Stiles, gaslights Stiles, victim blames Stiles, humiliates Stiles, dehumanizes Stiles, accuses Stiles of being an amoral, violent, dangerous, inhuman monster and a serial killer, attempts to isolate Stiles from all his friends and support system, and then shows up the very next day whining and demanding Stiles’ help to save his own cowardly ass once again as if nothing happened. (Also: can we talk about how Scott’s last words to the person murdering him in Season 5A is a statement of ownership about how Stiles, Liam, Lydia, Malia and Kira are an exclusive property of HIS – “They are still mine!” – and that Theo can’t have them because “You are barely even human!” please? That’s another creepy, disturbing thing the Teen Wolf fandom don’t talk nearly enough about.) Canon Scott McCall is a toxic, abusive friend and a True Flop both as a werewolf and as an alpha. Canon Scott McCall uses his position of power and true alpha authority to abuse, control, violate and take advantage of his friends for his own benefit. Canon Scott McCall lashes out at others to make himself feel better about being a failure and manipulates people with the ability to punish them if they don’t as he says/demands. Canon Scott McCall is a bigoted below-average idiot whose only talent is dumb luck [Peter Hale’s own words, not mine] and who’s utterly useless when left to his own devices. Canon Scott is whiny, cruel, selfish, self righteous, judgmental and manipulative and never does anything unless there’s something in it for him. Canon Scott McCall prioritizes lacrosse and his creepy stalker-crush on Allison over people’s life. Canon Scott McCall treats everyone like trash and expects massive favors from anyone who is even remotely on his side, even though he hasn’t given them any reason to trust him. Canon Scott McCall is annoying, comes up with shitty plans that achieve nothing and does plenty to put himself and his friends in danger. Canon Scott McCall gets his ass handed to him by everyone, shows up last minute to take the credit for his badass friends’ heroic actions and accomplishments, and demands praise and recognition for doing absolutely nothing. His presence cheapens the whole story. Scott is literally Wesley from Star Trek. He’s a self-insert of the showrunner who’s never to blame for any bad thing he does; all the other characters are always the ones “wronging” him – at least in the way the story is narrated to the audience. Scott’s always right (even though he is always wrong), and everyone else is always wrong (even though they are always right.) I really didn’t like how the show painted Scott as the complete good guy we should all relate to and all the characters who disagreed with him or didn’t want to be friends with him as amoral low-level villains or antagonists. Scott has plenty of good jokes and some decent character traits, but he’s not the messiah, unlike some rabid Scott Stans raving about how Scott is literally perfect would have you believe. Scott McCall got even more bland, whiny, toxic, useless and irrelevant after Season 1. And yet Jeff Davis and the Teen Wolf writers and producers desperately tried to convince us that Scott was a much better person, werewolf, leader and alpha than Derek Hale, and that Stiles Stilinski had to take Scott’s bullshit and emotional abuse for the ‘greater good’, even though Stiles has made it absolutely clear that Scott is not his alpha......... What a fucking joke
---
Yes to all of this.
I've said this before in relation to mcu's Steve, but the Perfect But Human Hero only works if, when you remove that personal and only focus on their actions, they're not constantly pulling the same shit as a villains.
But Scott... does do that.
And it's really fascinating how teen wolf's narrative judges those instances, how everyone else gets vilified or punished for the same things Scott gets victimized or rewarded for.
I'll get to the context in a moment, let's just focus on the actions:
Derek, Stiles, Theo, and Scott all dehumanize supernaturals because they'll heal.
Peter, Theo, and Scott all violate someone's mind and/or body.
Jackson and Scott both did everything they could to get what they wanted.
This is canon, it's the bare bones of what happened.
Derek breaking Scott's wrist is framed as abuse and paints Derek as a villain. Most of Stiles' training and full moon safety is shown as Stiles trying to get back at Scott. Theo not caring if Josh gets hurt is seen as him not caring and an extension of "You're barely even human".
Scott violating Corey is a mistake. A hasty decision made under stress to show how much he cares about Liam, and is used so we can see how good he is when he asks Meredith if she's sure. It's also never mentioned again for some reason?
Both Scott's and Lydia's bites, and subsequent mind control are traumatic and horrifying. Theo using Lydia is just a means to an end, and she ends up in Eichen.
For Scott, it's a victory and victimization both. He outsmarted Gerard, he proved to Derek that he's not Scott's alpha. Not telling him, or even—and I know this sounds ridiculous, but hear me out—asking him for permission, is seen as the right thing. And even if it wasn't, it wasn't really his fault, Gerard forced him into it, his plan was only going to work if he did the Evil Thing.
Jackson wanting to be popular/the best at lacrosse, and not caring if it hurt other people got Derek tortured, got himself turned into a monster and people killed.
Scott wanting to play lacrosse/date Allison also meant not caring about who got hurt during the first few episodes. He prioritized his own wants over what he should do, with the full knowledge that it could get someone hurt or killed. And yet, he got what he deserved: first line, Allison, and his recklessness only got a handful of people hurt.
I'm not trying to excuse everyone else's behavior, I'm asking, why isn't Scott held to the same standards? Why is it that it's only a bad thing if Scott isn't the one doing it? I mean, it's the unreliable narrator but—
Also, dehumanizing narrative in regards to Gerard and Theo: someone tried to argue that Scott's plans with the mountain ash and Deucalion respectively were only going to work if the villains tried to do their Evil Thing. That Scott hadn't hurt anyone until they initiated it. Neither Derek nor the other chimeras even registered as victims.
They're seen as collateral damage, or even "deserve it" for past wrongdoings/coercion because let's be real, they had about as much if not less agency than Scott working with Gerard.

FICTOBER 2020 - day thirty-one
Prompt #31: “I trust you.”
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall.
Words: 2218
Author’s Note: an underappreciated aspect of chess culture? games played for fun are called Skittles. set post 5B, Scott & Stiles take a break to play a game of chess, and wind up talking about a whole lot more than just a game. Gen fic, Scott & Stiles focus. Stiles POV.
>> j’adoube (i adjust)
Stiles tosses his pen in the air. Watches it flip, twice. Catches it, barely. Toss and repeat.
“Hey, Scott.”
Scott, who’s sitting across from him at the desk, just grunts without looking up. They’ve been going over scholarships together for the past three hours, and it’s the most mind-numbing use of a Saturday Stiles has had in a very long time.
Which, considering most of his Saturdays have been more of the terrifyingly bloody variety, is probably still preferable. But still.
“Scoooooooott.”
Scott flips to the next page. “Mm?”
Stiles throws his pen at him and smacks him squarely across the face.
“Ow, Stiles—what?”
Stiles flips over onto his stomach, triumphant to have finally gotten Scott’s full attention. “You wanna play a game?”
Scott puts his own pen down and leans back in the chair, stretching and popping in a way that suggests being hunched over for that long is unpleasant for even a werewolf. “What kind? Board game?”
Stiles grins.
Board games, to his mind, are sacrosanct.
Not necessarily because he loves them—given a free range of choices, he’d rather do just about anything else—but because it’s so easy for them to suck.
Yahtzee, Monopoly, Shoots and Ladders, Candy Land, Sorry, even Risk—there’s just too much luck involved for his taste. Draw randomized but predetermined cards, roll uncontrollable dice. And that’s not even touching the disaster that’s Life, where the only two choices that ever matter are college or career, kids or no kids.
Absolutely nothing about bite or no bite, or possession or no possession.
Or ‘betrayed by a monster that gets your best friend killed and your crush of five years committed to an asylum,’ but.
Either way, it’s a joke.
There are better board games. Clue or Scrabble, which still rely on the hand that’s dealt, but at least can be salvaged with enough knowledge and strategy.
But he has the best one in mind for today.
“Chess?”
Scott’s eyes light up with a competitive glint Stiles feels like he hasn’t seen in ages, and he knows he’s won.
“I could do a round or two,” Scott says.
“Oh, thank god—”
“But, then we have to get back to work on these.”
“Yep, uh-huh, absolutely,” Stiles says, rolling off the bed and hunting underneath it for his set.
He fully intends to bribe Scott into playing way more than that, but one thing at a time.
His fingers close over the wooden case and he draws it out, blowing a bit of dust off the top. He turns it over in his hands.
If board games are sacrosanct, then chess is the holy grail.
Most people don’t get the attraction, and he respects that. It takes a certain level of concentration to be good at chess, and considering how many strategy books he’s read on the topic—even if he rarely remembers them—he can beat a casual player without too much effort. Plus, most people prefer games that don’t require much thought, perfectly wiling to just roll their dice and move their mice.
Stiles respects that a lot less.
What he likes about chess is that it’s the one game that’s completely and totally winnable every time—with no variation from chance or random dealing. He might be outmatched, but he’s not outnumbered.
Every choice he makes is fully his own.
It’s the best game.
The only marginal difference is that white has a slight advantage, as it gets to go first, so as Stiles tosses the set onto the bed he says, “I can be black this time.”
Scott barely glances up from the scholarship he’s still worrying himself over. “Hm? No, that’s okay, I don’t mind. You can take white.”
Stiles rolls his eyes and flops onto the bed. “You’ve been black the past like, eight times we’ve played. You’re white this time.”
“Stiles, I really don’t care if you want it.”
It’s an innocuous statement, but Stiles’ temper flares because all he can hear is that Scott thinks he needs the advantage—even if it’s one that, statistically, barely even matters. “What, because you don’t think I can beat you otherwise?”
“What? No, Stiles, I—” Scott falls silent, and it’s enough to instantly cool Stiles’ frustration. “I just—never mind. I can be white.”
Stiles hesitates for a few beats, then turns the board and starts setting the pieces up so the white ones are facing Scott.
He pauses. He’s been trying to pay more attention to Scott lately, but it’s hard—Scott tends to fold pretty quickly on smaller issues, and he tends to—
Well.
Not.
“Then again,” he tries, “I guess it doesn’t really matter—”
“You asked me to play white, so I’ll play white.” Scott’s voice is flat. “You were right; we haven’t switched it up in a while, so it’s only fair. Just give me a sec to finish this.”
“…Okay.”
Stiles toys with the edge of the board as he waits for Scott to finish restacking the papers.
One of the reasons Stiles likes chess is because it makes for a surprisingly good Rorschach test, and he’s played it with every member of the pack at some point or another.
Liam’s not much of a challenge, mostly because he’s made it clear he doesn’t care. The one time they played, he’d started strong—aiming to capture more than aiming to secure—but his failure to consider long-term strategy had gotten him into trouble almost immediately. With Malia, she has a good concept of how to control the center of the board, and favors trap-based strategy, but her ability to pay attention to her opponent’s gameplay is usually her downfall. Lydia tends to focus on a bishop and pawn strategy, which works very well for her mostly because it infuriates Stiles—his own strategy relies heavily on a more spontaneous approach to movement, and her method thoroughly demarcates most of the board. That’s probably why he enjoys playing with Kira, whose strategy rotates every time they play—as soon as he’d introduced her to the game, she’d started binging chess tutorials at speeds that put his own research to shame.
He hasn’t had the chance to play with the new pack members, but he has his guesses as to how that will go. Mason will play circles around him, but be super nice about it. Hayden will either trounce him thoroughly if she cares, or lose terribly if she doesn’t, and there will be nothing in between. Corey… Corey will probably favor the knights, which will make him hard to beat on the front end, but almost impossible to lose to in the endgame.
But he can work with that. All of those strategies make sense; make it easier for him to understand and categorize them.
He looks down at the white and black pieces, standing silently in anticipation of the match.
He can’t think of any reason Scott would want to reject the advantage, unless it was just for his benefit, but he hadn’t appeared to be lying.
And now Scott probably won’t tell him because he’d snapped at him instead of just asking.
Stiles winces and rakes his hands through his hair.
It’s just a chess preference. It’s not like it matters.
Except it does, because everything between them feels so fragile after Theo.
Stiles’ thoughts are interrupted when Scott vaults onto the bed, accidentally knocking one of the pawns forward as the board lists to the side.
“Whoops,” Scott says. The tiniest of smirks appears on his face as he moves to fix it. “J’adoube.”
Stiles rolls his eyes. “You don’t have to announce that that’s not your move when I can clearly see what just happened.”
“Can’t be too careful,” Scott says, adjusting the piece. “You’ve definitely called me out for less in the past.”
“You tried to change your mind after wrapping your whole hand around a bishop! How is that less?”
Scott shrugs, and Stiles is relieved he doesn’t seem to be bothered about the pieces anymore. “I’m just saying. Can’t be too careful.”
“A mindset I would normally endorse wholeheartedly, however.”
Scott laughs, then settles in cross-legged and stares down at the board, elbows resting on his knees and face furrowed in contemplation.
Stiles glances at Scott, then at board, then back at Scott again.
Scott doesn’t move.
Suddenly, it’s really bothering Stiles that despite having played with him more than anyone else, despite knowing him better than anyone else, Stiles still doesn’t understand why Scott plays the way he does.
It’s not that Scott’s exceptionally bad, or that Scott’s exceptionally good. It’s that he’s both.
When he plays with Stiles, he matches him step for step, pivoting his goals almost as quickly as Stiles does. But the few times Stiles’ seen Scott play with others, that ability seems to vanish—his level of competence almost directly mapped onto the level of the person he’s playing with, above or below where Stiles would expect it.
It doesn’t make sense, but that’s just Scott. Stiles had long since acknowledged that there were always going to be some things that didn’t make sense about his best friend.
That was before Theo. Before everything that was Scott & Stiles fell apart.
And also, Scott still hasn’t moved.
“Hey Scott?” Stiles waits until he glances up at him, chin still resting in his hands. “You gonna go, bud?”
“Yeah,” Scott says. He blinks down at the board. “There’s just… a lot of options.”
“Okay, right, that’s true,” Stiles says. “But it’s also just the first move.”
“Yeah.”
Scott reaches out and touches the pawn from before. He hovers there for a moment, then retracts his hand—the pawn still unmoved.
Stiles clears his throat.
“Really? You want me to—” Scott sighs. “J’adoube.”
“Technically, you’re supposed to say that before you touch it.”
“And technically, you said I didn’t have to say it earlier, so that one could count for the one I just did.”
“Bro,” Stiles says, because this is getting ridiculous. “Literally just move the pawn. Or a knight. Or any of the other pawns. There are zero other options.”
“I know, I know,” Scott says. “I just… what if I move this piece, and then you move like your knight or something, and it turns out I made the wrong move?”
Stiles squints at him. “It’s your move. Why would my move, which comes afterward, make yours wrong?”
“Because I have to stop your plan.”
“Right, but like.” Stiles tilts his head. “What about your plan?”
“That is my plan.”
Stiles’ brain short circuits, and he spins rapidly through every game he’s ever watched Scott play. “So—so wait. You mean every time you’re playing you’re just… trying to figure out your opponent’s plan? You’re not making one of your own?”
“I mean, kinda?” Scott reaches for the pawn again, then pauses before touching it. “J’adoube.”
“Yeah, whatever, just move the pawn,” Stiles says. “So earlier, it wasn’t about wanting me to have an advantage; you wanted black because… it’s to your advantage?”
Scott spins the pawn around in a slow circle, then lets go of it without moving its position. Again.
“I guess,” he says. “You like playing white better and I like black better, so it just… makes more sense to let us play the ones we actually prefer.”
“Then why didn’t you just say that?”
Scott shrugs. “It just seemed like it was important to you, and I… I didn’t want to argue.” His eyes drop, and so does his voice. “I don’t want to argue with you anymore.”
Something clicks in Stiles’ mind. “J’adoube.”
“Uh,” Scott looks pointedly at the pieces, which are still unmoved, and his hands, which aren’t anywhere near them. “What?”
“‘I adjust,’” Stiles says. “That’s what you’ve been doing. Adjusting your plan to match mine, or—or anyone else.”
Scott picks at the edge of his sleeve. “And that’s bad?”
“Um.” Stiles hasn’t gotten that far. “No? I mean like, you’re clearly very good at it. You’ve definitely beat me enough times doing it.”
“I sense a ‘but.’”
“See, there you go, anticipating me again. You’re a pro.”
“Stiles.”
“Yeah, okay, the point.” Stiles glances down at the chessboard—and then at the pile of scholarships, too. “Look, I’m just saying you gotta just take the shot sometimes. Or move the pawn. Whatever. My point is, it’s okay to make your own plans.”
Scott shifts a bit to look behind him at the paperwork, something both worried and hopeful in his expression.
“And then, y’know,” Stiles continues, “you can always adjust them later if you have to. But you don’t have to start out that way.”
Scott picks up the pawn and turns it about in his fingers. He bites his lip. “And… you trust this to work?”
“Nah, man.” Stiles settles back against the wall and nods towards the board. “It’s the first move; I have no idea how it’ll play out. But… I trust you enough to know that you can handle it if it doesn’t.”
Scott’s eyes get suspiciously bright, but Stiles doesn’t comment. “I trust you, too.”
(And, well.)
(If Stiles’ eyes get a little bright too, no one comments on that either.)
Scott moves the pawn to e4, and lets it go.

Secrets part 2 - Peter Hale
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing reader x Peter Hale
Warnings, violence, jealously, angst, slow burn, flitty Peter
Tumblr media
You take a long breath, thinking that question yourself. After today, Theo’s attitude all you wanted to do was get your stuff and leave. But where would you go. “honestly I’m not sure. I’m gonna see coach use my hand to get out of work. While Theo still here get my stuff and go. The rest I’ll work out later” you say hopeful.

“you know you can always come to me if your stuck, we’re still your friends y/n just because Theo was your boyfriend didn’t mean anything changed with us. Yes Stiles was upset but he got over it” she laughed. Giving you a hug. You’d forgotten how forgiving the Mc'Call pack was.

Once your hand was strapped up, you both left. “If your free later where all going to Derek’s your more than welcome to come” she offers. You tell her you’ll think about it before going back to work.

Coach Finstock took one look at your hand rolling his eyes. “what happened?” he asked.

“fight with my ex”  you say watching him laugh. “look any chance I can rest if the day off, we don’t have any practices today and with this hand I won’t be as useful as normal” you ask. To your surprise he agrees and tells you to be in early tomorrow.

You got your bag and started walking to the home you shared with Theo. Feeling dread as you turned the key in the door, taking a deep breath you push the door open to get it over with. You try and ignore the memories you both made in this house.

Walking in the living room you let the tears fall looking at a photo of you both together. You flip the picture down laying face down. It was over, now you had to do what you came to do, pack up and leave.

You started grabbing your stuff from the room, jumping when you hear a voice behind you. “come crawling back” Tracey said with disgust.

“No, but after the way Theo begged me to come back today I could if I wanted to” you sass back wanting to know what she was doing here. You had told in a laugh at the look of hate on her face and the stutter nothing.

You walk past her to get some of your other things. She turns watching you, you can tell she’s trying to think of a way to get to you. “If he’s so into you, why was he with ME , chose to come to ME have ME bouncing on his cock and not you!” she said smug, each time she said the word me she took a step closer, trying to look intimating.

This time you let your held laugh. “oh really, I saw the way he throw you off him. Let me guess the second he walked back after chasing me, he told you to get dressed and get out. Your here now because he’s avoided you and hoping to try and worm your way back in” you tell her.

She looks at you with a blank open mouth expression. The realisation hit you “oh my god I’m right, aren’t I.” You laugh.

“no” she tries to lie but it’s too late you both know Theo dropped her like she meant nothing.

You don’t what came over you, maybe months of feeling the chimera trying to be better than you, pushing you. “what do you think would happen if Theo came home now I told him I was willing to forgive him if he kicks you out if his pack, who do you think he’ll chose, the quick shag he pushed away, or the girlfriend he ran after, cried and begged to take him back?” you couldn’t hide the joy in your face “I think we both know who he would pick”

Tracy looked at you for a second, you tried to read the look in her eyes but they were blank. That was until she launched at you. Groaning in pain as the both of you crashed though the coffee table. She held you pinned under her body, and punches you in the face. Dazed and sore everything was a fast blur, you grab the nearest thing a fallen lamp hitting her in the head with it. The rest of the fight was a mix of you both kicking and hitting each other.

It was Theo and Cory running through the door that stopped you both. They drag you apart Theo’s voice streaming stop and what’s going on. “ask your little slut, she attacked me”  you yell, holding your face where it hurt.

“y/n please, she meant nothing to me” he says moving closer to you. Tracey growling from the corner Cory had her pinned in.

You looked at Theo ready to test his loyalty, “really if she means nothing, get rid of her!” you say. A small pause made you fold your arms waiting for his answer.

“baby please, she’s nothing just a pack member, I need all the numbers I can get” he tired to plead with you.

“I can’t look at you both together without seeing you together so make a choice Theo or I’ll make it for you!” you demand. When he didn’t answer, just mumbles a baby please don’t, you look at him heartbroken “fine!” you say walking upstairs to pack your bag.

When you come down Tracy and Cory had gone but you could still see them outside. “y/n don’t go, please you can’t ask me to choose between my pack and you” he pleads. You look trying to find any real emotion in his eyes.

“I loved you Theo, I gave up moving abroad with my sister, my friends here. All for you and you can’t give up one pack member for me, you’d never give up your power for me. I know that now, you say you love me but you’ll always love power more. Goodbye Theo, I hope you find what your looking for” you say holding in your tears as you place a final goodbye kiss on his check, walking out with your suitcase before he can stop you.
Tumblr media
You drove to the edge of beacon hills preserve, parking the car sitting on the bonnet, finally letting all the held in emotions out. Lost in your own thoughts, was leaving a good idea, should you have given him a second chance or where do you go next. You wasn’t sure how long you’d sat there for, it wasn’t until you notice it was starting to go dark and cold you moved.

You thought about Lydia knowing Derek’s wasn’t far away, turning on your engine you decide to go. Outside you looked up at the windows debating whether to go in or call first. Lydia my have invited you but what about the others. Before you had a chance to call, a know on the window spooked you.

Peter stood there smiling at you, motioning for you to unlock the door. “well isn’t this a nice surprise seeing you here, I heard you may show up if you left Theo for good”  he says happily getting in the car. You didn’t say anything, when he looks at you his eyes scans your face. “he didn’t that to you did he?” he asks.

You shake your head no, “Tracy is responsible for the face n ribs, Theo is only guilty of having a hard head” you say holding up your strapped up wrist.

Peter laughed “I heard you gave him one hell of a punch, stiles seems to think if Theo were human you’d of knocked him out” he says with a tone of awe.

“thanks I think” you laugh “it felt great at the time, if I’m gonna be honest. Now though part of me regrets it, my hand is killing” you joke.

“so you coming up?” he asks about to get out. Your hesitant not sure if your willing to go or not.

“I’m not sure, I don’t know if anyone really wants me there, I was really hoping to catch Lydia, she offered me a place to stay, maybe I can till I sort out where I’m gonna go” you say low

“I’m hurt sweetheart” he says, placing his hands on his chest “you already have my guest room, I guess you really don’t wanna stay with me” he adds with a fake pout. “just joking but my offer is always there, now come on up, I want you there too maybe you can what ever Si-Fi movie Stiles chooses more bearable” you can’t tell if he’s joking or not at the last part.

“okay” you agree, taking one last look in the mirror wiping any make up lines from crying. Peter opened your door, holding out his hand for you. Taking it you step out the car locking it and head to the loft.

Inside everyone seemed happy to see you, even Derek gave you a hug saying he’d missed you. You smile catching the small snarl from Peter. Even Stiles wasn’t harsh with you the most sarcastic thing he said was “glad to see you’ve now seen him for what he is”

You spent the next hour chilling with the group, stiles put star wars on party annoyed when someone would start talking. Your eyes often drifting to Peter, each time you did his would already be on you. He would pull a face or roll his eyes in a way for just you to see.

“y/n, I probably shouldn’t bring this up like this but, have you got somewhere to go tonight or do you wanna stay with me” Lydia asked.

You flash a quick look to Peter who’s now paying attention waiting to hear your answer. Wishing your would go home with him.  You smile at Lydia “thanks your too kind but a friend has offered me their guest room for a bit” you say. Not missing the dark and sexy smile Peter gives.

After another hour, the movie ended. Scott and Derek were talking about training both not paying attention it had finished. Stiles asks Malia on her opinion of the film, Lydia and Peter both laughing when she asks what it was about still not understanding why he likes it. You noticed Mason and Liam had switched off, trying to talk quite but every now and then you hear Cory and Theo’s names mentioned. Peter comes and stands behind you whispering into your ear “I’m ready to go, you can stay longer if you want”

You smile up at him saying to give you a few minutes you’d be ready, you had one thing you needed to do first. Peter nods and heads out the flat. While you walk over to Mason and Liam.

“look I know this isn’t my place and I couldn’t help overhearing you before about Cory” you start. Masons shoulders sink as Liam looks defensive by the name. “yes Cory is in Theo’s pack but anything he feels for you is real. And you can trust anything you do or say around him won’t be told.”

Liam doesn’t agree “we caught him sneaking around, working for Theo” his smirk begging you for an excuse.

You shake your head, “no actually, Theo threatened Cory into spying but when Cory refused to say anything useful he was ordered to do it again but by this point I think Cory had feeling for Mason and told Theo he wouldn’t use Mason for information. It was the first and only time that boy stood up to Theo and that was for him.” You tell Liam.

Looking at Mason “it’s up to you but if you like him, go for it. It’s only fear keeping Cory with Theo, remember that” you tell him. Saying bye to the rest of the group you walk out the door catching up with Peter.

You follow Peter the short drive to his penthouse, parking next to his Shelby. Peter took your bag carrying it for you. Once inside he let you get settled as he started to cook. Maybe staying here wouldn’t be so bad you thought.

Tumblr media
It had been two weeks since you moved in and Peter was struggling getting to the stage he couldn’t cope any more. It wasn’t that you were a bat house guest, in fact you were the opposite, you helped cook clean and even picked up shopping. His problem was his own feelings.

He couldn’t deal with the way you would walk around in shorts and a vest tops, showing off your legs and cleavage. The easy flirting you both shared, looks smiles winks. The way you would say something suggestive making him ask if you meant it or not. The late night drinks where your fall asleep on his lap and he’d carry you to bed. Most of all he hated putting you in a different bed from his. It wouldn’t have been so bad to just watch you keep telling himself it would never happen but after that kiss last week it’s all he wanted now and had it in his grasp. He hated being a good guy.

This morning was no different, Peter walked out of the bathroom wearing just his sweatpants towel drying his damp hair. Something that started driving you crazy, it was hard to tare your eyes from his toned abs.

Peter watches as you dance around the kitchen making breakfast. His eyes trail your body loving and hating the coaches outfit you wore. Something about your knee high socks and shorts set his imagination wild. “morning” he says making you turn to look at him. He could help but smirk when he see you eye him up biting your lips as your eyes trail down his chest.

“hey” you say “Pancakes?” you offer as you sliding the one you just cooked onto a pile of others. Peter nods coming over to sit by you.  “Are you coming to the game today?” you ask him. It was the first game of the lacrosse session and your first as assistant coach.

Peter looked amused “really you think I’d go to a high school sports game, it’s not even basketball. Its much better” he jokes. You knew it was a long shot but maybe with it being a big game for you he might of came. “however maybe I could be persuaded” he adds, with that smirk that makes you weak.

Smiling you slide off your stool, coming behind him wrapping your arms around his neck. Letting your fingers brush his chest hair. Moving closer your lips almost touching his ear “well if you do come, maybe I can find a way to show my thanks later” you try to sound seductive.

The small growl from Peters chest makes you laugh, you wanted to tease him as much as he did to you. Moving back you let your nose lightly brush against his ear. Once back in your seat “maybe you can tell me your favourite meal ill make it for you” you laughed.

Peter was going insane, was she doing this on purpose or if she even knew what she was doing. He shook his head, “such a tease, y/n, I should punish you” he said. Unlike y/n Peter knew what his words did to her and if you want to play games he could too. “do you need to be punished sweetheart”  he asked.

You bit your lip hoping he was going to come over and spank your ass, do something to end this unspoken game you both played. You keep eye contact with him as he comes closer, arching an eyebrow waiting for an answer. “you wouldn’t punish me Peter, no matter how naughty I am” you say dragging out punish and naughty.

Peter leaned down hovering his lips over yours, his eyes flicked from your eyes to lips and back again. You felt yourself shift in your seat about to move forward to kiss him. Peters smirk changed, his arm reaches around you stealing the last piece of bacon from your plate, putting in his mouth. Giving a laugh as he eat it. Just like Peter you hated the game but wouldn’t play it any other way.
Seeing as Peter finished your breakfast you get ready for work, saying bye to Peter hoping to him at the game.
Tumblr media
You were the first one at the school unlocking the doors hoping the team had improved enough to win. Once coach turned up your day was nonstop, he’d made you pull out the bleachers, check equipment,, direct the away team to their dressing room and now had you listening to one of his locker room speeches.

You couldn’t take anymore of his independence day nonsense, leaving the room you headed out to the field. You seen Mason and Cory both making their way out to watch. You smiled seeing them holding hands “hi” you shout jogging to catch up with them.

“well you two look happy”  you say. They both give each other shy glances but both beamed a smile at you.

“I guess we should thank you” Mason said, Cory looked confused. “y/n told me how you stood up to Theo for me. She said I should give you a chance” Mason filled Cory in.

You were about to say your welcome until a dreaded voice filled your ears. Tracy came around the corner making you groan. Since living with Peter you’d put Theo out of your head and being busy with the game you didn’t think about them turning up today.

“so you leave and still meddle with our pack, Cory how will Theo feel when he finds out your a turncoat” She said as she stalks towards you. Cory pushes Mason away, warning him with his eyes to find help, not sure what was going to happen.

You looked at her wanting to scream and shout but you couldn’t. “Tracy if your here for the game then go find a seat, if not then leave students can’t be wandering the halls” you say as professional as possible. Cory smiles a thanks walking off your follow him hoping your teacher like warning was enough. It wasn’t, Tracy steps in front of you her claws out ready to attack.

Mason finds Scott and the others panicking telling him to come quick. Theo watches hearing your name he follows. When Cory runs to them and they all run off, Theo brakes into a run too. When he catches up he sees y/n on the floor, Tracy over her with a bloody nose about to claw at her with Kanima venom. “Tracey! Stop!”  Theo roars making his beta jump of his ex girlfriend.

Theo grabs her by the throat holding her against the wall as Scott and Cory help you up off the ground. You wasn’t hurt, well not bad maybe some brushing not that was all. You wanted to go and run at Tracy and Theo not sure who you wanted to hit first.

Lucky for you Coach Finstock was in the hall too “what the hell is going on?” he demanded looking at you all. Scott looked at you and everyone else looked at him. You say his name but he stops you “actually don’t want to know, now everyone asses on the field.”

Theo pushed Tracey away ordering her to move, Scott ran to the field as the others headed to their seats. You looked at coach about to explain but all he did was tell you to get back to work.

The first half of the game went smoothly, BHH were leading but not by much, or at least not enough for coach to be happy. You felt annoyed too, after what happened with Tracy you worried about your job and Peter still hadn’t turned up from what you’d seen, the empty chair next to Malia never filled.

To make matters worse, Theo was walking towards you. You turn away hoping he’d just go away, walk past you and not look your way. Luck really wasn’t on your side today, “y/n can we talk I wanna say sorry about Tracy” he says.

You sigh “you didn’t tell her to attack me, but you can keep her on a leash and away from me” you say about to walk away, find some excuse to look busy.

Theo’s body language changes as you feel an arm come around your shoulder. “hello sweetheart, sorry I’m late” Peter say, not taking his eyes from Theo. You smile, nervous at what he’s doing. “is he bothering you, y/n” Peter asks, pulling you in closer to him.

Theo takes a step forward, huffing out his chest trying to look harder. “were working a few things out, can you leave and get your filthy hand off my girl” Theo says.

Peter couldn’t help himself. He wasn’t about to let Theo worm his way back in and he couldn’t resist a bit of fun. “What is it with you teenagers? You think that you’re so special? You think you can tell me what to do?” Peter said, leaning in to place a small kiss on your cheek. Really getting under Theo’s skin and yours. You feel the heat rise in your cheeks confused by the whole situation. Peters casual flirting, Theo looking like he’s about to blow.

Theo grabbed your wrist dragging you out of Peters gentle hold. “she’s mine” he yelled trying to drag behind him as he squared up to Peter. “go near her and watch” he started to threaten.

“get off me Theo! What the hell are you doing” you scream trying to free yourself. You look at Peter his amused smirk waiting to see what Theo would do next, more importantly what you would do. Once free from his hold “Theo this has to stop, we’re not working anything out we’re over and for good. So just leave me alone”

Theo didn’t move at first. His eyes flicking from you to Peter trying to work out what was going on. “so you and him” Theo says in disgust. “this who you’ve been with!”

“it’s not like that” you say low. You wasn’t lying but you wish he was right, you wanted a you and Peter. You look at Peter unable to read his poker face. “but even if there was it’s none of your business anymore”

Peter played fake hurt “sweetheart you wound me, I thought we had something special” he jokes, making Theo growl his eyes flashing gold.

“Peter shut up your not helping” you say seeing Theo’s anger building.

“now, now y/n, that’s no way to speak to your alpha now is it” Peter practically purrs.

This set Theo off. You imagine it was the word alpha that pushed Theo over the edge. He’d always had a hidden alpha kink the one title he craved. Without warning Theo charged at Peter claws out ripping his V-neck. “your no alpha” and “she’ll never be yours” he shouted.

Peter let the young, stupid chimera land his first two or three hits before flashing his own eyes red. Theo looked stunned for a minute letting Peter swipe his claws at the teen. Both of them now had blood on them and if you did do someone one of them most likely Theo would die.

You scream for them to stop about 5 times but each one fallen on deaf ears. Your only option was to try and stop them yourself. You wasn’t sure which one of them clawed you, but your cry of pain made them both stop.

Theo ran to you asking if you were okay and said sorry over an over. Peter looked down is eyes scanning your injuries, feeling easier when he saw they wasn’t deep. Standing up you look at Theo “No, now just go” was call you could say. Not wanting to argue he did, walking of towards the main gate leaving the school. Vowing to Peter it wasn’t over

You look at Peter who’s eyes were back blue. Part of you wanted to ask him what that was all about, why goat Theo into a fight. What was he trying to prove but didn’t have the energy to. You never got a chance the buzzer sounded letting you know the game had restarted. “shit, I gotta go” you tell him running back to work. You would be surprised if you still had a job come Monday.

The rest of the game had been trying, both team scoring making the leader bored jumping  back and forth. One of your players taking an injury masking Stiles come on instead. You hated this, five minutes left and both teams drawing. Biting your nail you watch the tean make their play.

You jump when you feel a hand come around the back of your waist. He rests his chin on your shoulder his other hand finds your hip. “so do you think the wolfs can pull this off” he said not taking his eyes if the game.

You laughed “since when did you care how they play, wasn’t sure you were even gonna come” you say leaning back into his chest.

“since you asked me, if I’m going do something I give it my full my attention” he answers in his flirty tone.

“you know people will start talking, think somethings going on, if you keep holding me like this”  you say but not wanting him to move. You look around to see if anyone was watching, Hayden was, in fact she was stirring and talking on her phone, no doubt filling Theo in.  “or are you doing this to piss Theo off more”  you laugh.

“I couldn’t care less about Theo he’s not worth any more of our time, now he knows ‘who’ I am I doubt he’ll be showing his face again. Also would it be so bad if there was something going on between us?” he asked.

You bit your lip, feeling your heart race. Your about to tell him no until the winning goal was scored seconds before the final buzzer sounds. For once your team won, Bobby was shouting you over making you jump out of Peters arms, “hold that thought” you say running off to your boss. Peter watches you frustrated wishing you’d look at him how you had in his living the night he took you home.

The stands started to empty, everyone happy with the result. Some of the dumping their sticks to run off and celebrate. Coach ordering you to pack up. “okay” you call back start gathering up equipment to put away.  Peter walks over picking up the lacrosse stick, handing it to you. “guess you still have work to do, I’ll see you later” he says but this he seems off. You couldn’t help but smile he’d actually came to say bye.

“your going? I’ll see you at Derek’s right?” you question.

Peter nodded, “you seem busy so I’ll leave you too it, I’ll see you after” he says

“how about you leave your car at yours we can take mine home. No point both of us driving” you say.

Peter smirks “wouldn’t people think something going on of we did” he mocked your words from earlier.

You look up “would it be so bad if they did” you say back seeing Peters smile change to a more happier one as he goes to turn. “see you later” you say running the sticks into the locker room telling the team to hurry up and get changed. It took you and Bobby Finstock around two hours to fully kick everyone out and lock up the school.
Tumblr media
Theo stood in the car park, leaning against your car. You roll your eyes, after today you couldn’t take anymore of his shit. “so your really choosing him over me” he asked, his arms folded.

“I’m not choosing him over you, Theo. I’m choosing not to be with you.” You say honestly.

“but he doesn’t love you, I do” he said back hoping you would belive him. “he’s going to use you, hurt you it’s who he is” stepping closer, now starting to scare you a little, you take a breath trying not to let him intimidate you

“you don’t know what love is Theo. You might be right, Peter might hurt me, he might not but at the end of the day Theo you already HAVE hurt me. Not just by cheating on me but letting power and your pack be more important than me.” You say trying to open your car door.

Theo grabs your throat, pinning you to the car “so you really think I’d just let you leave like that” he roars. You start to panic seeing the crazed look in his eye. “your not gonna walk away and betray me, I’d rather kill you first”. He was now squeezing so hard you couldn’t breath, you vision going burly. “If that doesn’t show love, I don’t know what will” he said. You grabbed his wrists, struggling against his power, kicking your your feet at his shins. The panic was real, you thought you were going to die by Theo's hands. His words drowned out by the ringing of your car alarm. Your vision now completely black, lungs stinging for air, all you wished for was Peter.

It was the voice of coach, that made Theo get go. You fell to the floor, gasping for breath. When your vision came back into focus, you saw Bobby pinning Theo against your car.  He asked if you were okay and that Stilinski was on his way, you must have blacked out, not hearing him call for anyone. You nod your okay after getting your breath back and calming down, still refusing to go to the hospital even though Bobby insisted you do. Once the sheriff took Theo away, Bobby asked if you wanted driving home, you kindly refuse getting in your car. Looking at the marks Theo left wondering what your gonna say to the others and how Peter will react.

the bubble tea girl - ljn
Tumblr media
bubble tea shop worker! reader + new employee! jeno hehe
just a shit ton of fluff tbh i am so soft for jeno
word count: 3.5k
a/n: this is the second instalment of my nct dream job au hehe, please enjoy and as usual, i apologise for any mistakes :)) p.s look how cute he is
//
you were standing outside the bubble tea store you worked at called, Tea-riffic. totally cheesy, but very popular. you were hanging up a ‘now hiring’ sign at the front window of the store. your manager was seeking new employees as many of your previous co workers had outgrown the small franchise and moved onto bigger job opportunities, you couldn’t really blame them. you had worked there for a little less than a year, and quite enjoyed your job.
after securing the sign, you headed back into the store to continue working. shortly after you had served a few customers, you noticed a boy with round glasses, wearing a black hoodie and some sweatpants, stop to read the sign outside. he made eye contact with you through the window, causing you to lose your train of thought and forget which order you needed to start. you saw him chuckle to himself at your actions but chose to disregard it and continue with your order.
part of you hoped that he would come back and apply, but that was just you being delusional.
the next day you came into work was three days later. you greeted your fellow coworkers before heading to the back to start on orders.
‘hey y/n, we got fresh meat’ your coworker, yeji joked. it was a term you used for all new employees, meaning someone had just applied and gotten a trial shift.
‘ahh yes, someone to torment’ you giggle before following her to a different area in the back, waiting to be introduced to the new trainee.
‘hey guys this is jeno, he’s here for a trial shift, i entrust that you will take care of him and help him if he asks’ your manager stated as you looked over at the boy. it was the same boy from days before but only this time, he wasn’t wearing glasses. you gave him a shy smile in which he returned.
‘y/n, since you’ve been here the longest out of everyone, could you just help him out today?’ your manager ordered as you nodded in response, ‘sure thing’
jeno looked stunned when he heard that you would be training him. he quickly followed you out to the registers.
‘i’ll formally introduce myself, i’m y/n’ you smile as you put your hand out for him to shake. he looked at you with his eye smile and returned your gesture,
‘ah hi i’m jeno’
‘great, now that we got that out of the way...working here isn’t as easy as you may think. everyone has a spillage count, i’m up to ten drinks in my entire time here.’ jeno chuckled softly at your words, making you pause for a bit before leading him to the register.
‘for now i’ll just show you how to take orders and later today we can switch over to the actual drinks, sound good?’ you gave him a friendly look, which made his nerves about this job, die down.
‘yeah that’s fine with me’ he responded as you began explaining the functions of the register as well as what questions to ask for the orders. to your surprise, jeno got the hang of it really quickly. it also helped that he was on the better looking side, as many girls would often stare at him for extended periods of time before collecting their order. you just shook your head in amusement before tapping his shoulder.
‘yes, y/n? how did i do?’ he asked, concerned about his progress.
‘trust me, you’re doing well! now this is the hard part, i’ll give you three chances if you mess up an order, it’s stated in the rules otherwise you can’t get hired. but i’m here to help!’ you assure him as he nervously bit his lip. he didn’t respond to you, which made you kind of upset to see him like this. you placed your hand on his shoulder before reassuring,
‘don’t overthink it, otherwise you’ll be prone to messing up! i’m here with you’ he looked over to you and just smiled and nodded,
‘thank you’ he muttered as you pulled him towards the drink station and started on your first order.
he often got confused along the way but eventually he started picking up the pace, with only having messed up one order, which he made up by apologising sweetly to the girl who just accepted the wrong drink anyway due to his innocent charm.
‘dang jeno, you have to stop charming these ladies otherwise we’ll have to make you work here every single day!’ you decided to joke, pushing his shoulder against yours.
‘my badddd’ he softly whined before your manager approached the both of you.
‘jeno, you’ve done really well today. your communication skills and work ethic has impressed me, you can start working here, i’ll email your roster to you soon’ they smiled as jeno gave you a high five, before thanking your manager.
‘thanks for helping me today, y/n! i should treat you to something, want some tea?’ jeno offered, eyes bright.
‘jeno, i work at a bubble tea shop, i’ve had enough of tea for one day, let’s go get burgers, and we can get to know eachother since well we’ll be working together alot’ you offered in return, which made his entire face light up.
‘t-that sounds amazing, when should we go?’ he asked, pushing his hair back with his hand as he leans against the counter.
‘how about right now? i mean we are both off our shifts’ you keep smiling as jeno suddenly becomes more shy, he just nods and follows you out of the shop.
the rest of the night was spent with you and jeno talking about the most random things from the mandela effect to the tv show, teen wolf.
‘i’m telling i sobbed when allison died’ jeno explained to you as you were both seated across from eachother.
‘i felt that one, and aww you cried? that’s not very manly of you’ you sarcastically joked. he flashed you another eye smile which frankly just made you melt on the spot.
‘it’s getting late, i should head home. would you like me to walk you back to the shop?’ jeno offered, waiting for you to finish the last bite of the burger.
‘if you don’t mind! i don’t like walking alone when it’s dark’ you shyly admitted watching as he just nodded. you both walked side by side, continuing your conversation on which was the ultimate ship in teen wolf.
‘stydia!! come on! you can’t even deny it’ jeno became rambling making you want to argue back, playfully.
‘excuse me! theo and liam!’ you joked as he just rolled his eyes,
‘they weren’t even a couple’ he shook his head in amusement.
‘yeah yeah’ you muttered, softly judging him. it surprised you how easy it was to get along with him. he felt the same. jeno didn’t want this day to end.
‘i’ll see you tomorrow for your first official shift! glad you joined us, jeno!’ you smiled brightly as you both stopped outside the shop.
‘i’m glad i have you guiding me! get home safely! see you tomorrow!’ jeno waved before crossing the street to catch the next bus.
you made sure he got on the correct one before heading towards your car and driving home.
a few weeks into the job and things were sailing smoothly as usual. yeji’s spill count went up to twelve, making her the contender for the clumsiest employee you’ve had. jeno on the other hand, has had a whopping zero spills, which had you shocked.
‘you’re way too good at this! you probably worked at another store or something, was it the place a few blocks down?’ you playfully grilled him as you both were on your break.
‘let’s face it, i’m good at everything’ he just smirked before continuing to type on his phone.
you and jeno had somewhat gotten close, he didn’t attend your school, so you only crossed paths during work, but it was enough that you would both chatter the day away.
‘can one of you guys head out to the registers now? i’m off’ yeji greets as she hangs up her apron and grabs her bag, before waving to you both and leaving the store.
‘lets just both go’ jeno shrugs, shutting off his phone as you both made your way to the front. you decided you were gonna wipe down some tables whilst jeno serves customers. you were finished your final table when you saw jeno speaking to a girl who by the looks of her face, was becoming annoyed with him.
you slowly crept behind the counter, pretending you were organising the cups while eavesdropping on their conversation.
‘you can’t show up to my workplace’ jeno groans, trying to keep his calm. the girl crossed her arms before huffing in annoyance,
‘we have to talk soon! you can’t keep avoiding me’ she whines back, making you wonder what exactly they had to talk about.
‘what’s there left to say? we aren’t together anymore. you said no hard feelings, so stop following me around’ jeno seems to have fully lost it, unaware that his voice is becoming louder.
‘you can’t stop me, we have to discuss it all eventually’ the girl mutters under her breath in defeat before storming out of the store. jeno rubbed his temples, visibly shaken by the whole confrontation. you debated on whether or not you should comfort him. you looked over at him, he was hunched over behind the register.
‘you alright?’ you softly ask, unsure of his reaction.
‘yeah just fine, uh do you mind covering for me? i’m not feeling well at the moment’ jeno pleads, giving you the most vulnerable look you had ever seen from him. you nodded, ‘no problem, anything for a friend. feel better soon’ you smile softly before watching as he pat your shoulder and rushed out of the store.
whoever that girl was, clearly means or meant a lot to him.
you didn’t see him for a couple of days, mainly because he had called in sick for some of his shifts which made you worry. it wasn’t like you two were super duper close, but you thought he was close enough to atleast give you some explanation as to what went down a few days prior. you shook the thoughts of jeno out of your head, ready to serve the next customer.
‘hello! what would you like today?’ you smiled widely, before your expression almost instantly changed. it was the same girl from before, staring back at you.
‘is jeno working today?’ she got straight to the point, leaving you stunned.
‘oh um no he isn’t working today, i’m sorry’ you reply in the kindest way you could.
‘could you tell him i stopped by? my name is euntae’ she groaned to herself before leaving the store.
she had a lot of nerve to speak to you with disrespect, you were immediately alarmed by her presence, thus leading you to tell jeno all that happened when he had his next shift.
‘god she came again?’ jeno pulled at his hair, visibly frustrated with the presence of euntae.
‘who is she anyway? like your girlfriend or something?’ part of you was wishing he would say no.
‘used to be, not anymore. things ended badly and she’s just been following me at school and now work’ jeno sighed, sitting in the break room. you sat next to him and placed a hand to his shoulder.
‘do you want to talk about it?’ you calmly asked.
‘not really, it’s just, she hurt me bad. and i thought that keeping myself occupied would get my mind off the breakup but look what happened’ he placed his head in his hands. you felt so bad for him, you wished you could just embrace him.
‘well, how about we do something? like go to the park and ride bikes? anything to help you get your mind off her. and if you need, i’ll just give a heads up when she’s coming and you can duck under the counters’ you explained as he chuckled at that last part. his laugh made you feel warm inside.
‘you’d really do that for me? you’re amazing’ he muttered, not helping your nerves one bit. you blushed at his words and nodded,
‘as i said, anything for a friend’ you smiled at him in which he returned. why did that hurt you to say?
as you both expected, later that day, eunjae walked into the store, eyes out for jeno. you quickly signalled to him to duck in which he immediately caught on to.
‘sorry jeno’s not here’ you instantly stated, startling her.
‘did you tell him i came by?’ she crossed her arms, clearly annoyed.
‘he hasn’t been at work, sorry’ you shrug before walked away to complete orders. eunjae glared at you before storming out once again.
‘oh thank god, you are an angel’ jeno gives you a quick hug, instantly pulling away. you still treasured that fraction of intimacy with him, you’d wish he just do it again.
the next week, jeno came into work, greeting you with a quick side hug before beginning to take orders.
you and yeji were making drinks when she started interrogating,
‘what’s up with you and jeno?’ she smirks.
‘nothing, there’s nothing’ you mutter, making it clear you were upset.
‘oh sweetie, do you like him?’ yeji frowned,
‘i’m not sure’ you sigh, looking over at the black haired boy who never stopped smiling it seemed. he had this aura about him that you couldn’t stray away from. maybe it was because you were both stuck at work and forced to communicate but you wanted to hang out with him outside of work, it just never came up.
later that day, you were munching on some fruit you had packed for your break, before jeno came in and took a seat across from you.
‘hey y/n, care to share?’ he smiled, which you couldn’t resist so you shoved the box of fruit towards him, causing him to let out a small chuckle.
‘any plans for the weekend?’ you started,
‘umm actually my school is having its junior prom. i wasn’t gonna go but my friends keep bugging me about it’ jeno shrugged, but the idea of prom to you, was a dream. your school didn’t really hold many dances or events, so this was all very exciting.
‘oh my god! that’s exciting, i missed prom last year because i had to take the late shift here. and my school isn’t having one this year. you’re lucky you get to have one, you should totally go.’ you excitedly blurted, as jeno watched you with such captivating eyes. he couldn’t get enough of your little rambles.
‘i might go, on one condition’ he gives you a grin in which you have him a confused expression.
‘you come to prom with me?’ he asked, figuratively crossing his fingers behind his back. you were startled by his question, you and jeno? going to prom together?  would people ask questions?
‘wow i mean, if you’re okay with it, i would love to go with you to prom! i mean, like a date right?’ you accidentally blurted the last part in which you instantly regretted.
jeno flushed red before responding,
‘if you want it to be then sure, i’m down’ his response made you internally celebrate. jeno had a way with words. as well as his constant facial expressions.
you were going to prom, finally. also with lee jeno. two things you never expected to happen.
friday came along, for once jeno and you decided to hang out, outside of work. he took you to a park, to ride bikes, like you had suggested before.
‘slow down!! i have small and weak legs!’ you yell as jeno laughs hysterically in front of you.
‘oh stop being a baby!’ he comes to a halt in which you followed.
‘let’s go get a drink’ jeno smiled before pulling his bike with him to the nearest cafe. you both ordered a berry smoothie, taking a seat on a bench and chatting away.
‘so, any run ins with euntae lately?’ you teased while sipping on your drink. jeno just chuckled softly before replying,
‘i’ve actually spoken to her at school. i cleared everything up on my end. and for the most part i think she took it well? we aren’t on total bad terms’ you nodded at his words, glad that he was finally able to live freely.
‘that’s great! i’m happy for you’ you smiled as jeno looked over at you. you looked so huggable, like you needed someone to just embrace you forever. jeno wanted to be that person for you. but he would wait until prom for all the events to unfold.
you and jeno arrived at the prom separately, due to jeno’s pre prom plans with his friends, in which you didn’t want to interrupt. jeno’s eyes landed on you, standing at the front of the hall, hands gripped together and looking to the ground. he smiled to himself at how adorable you looked.
‘hey there’ he spoke, giving you a small shock before you slapped his shoulder lightly.
‘don’t sneak up on me please!’ you whine as you fixed your dress.
‘you look really pretty, y/n. i’m so glad you could come and accompany me’ jeno looked into your eyes which made you freeze. he had this glint of sparkle in them, which you couldn’t stop staring into.
‘hello?’ he flashed you an eye smile, which pulled you out of your daze.
‘oh uh sorry, spaced out. you look really good too, its a pleasure to be here’ you smiled back, trying to hide the blush that crept to your cheeks.
‘gosh, you don’t have to be so formal! let’s go inside!’ he chuckled before pulling you, while linking his fingers with yours. your palms were clammy and you hoped he didn’t notice. the prom, for the most part, consisted of you and jeno standing by the food and refreshment tables, eating and talking. there was some dancing, until you were pushed into the dance circle and could only remember the choreo to fancy.
‘you have some killer moves, y/n’ jeno teased whilst sipping on his drink, you rolled your eyes before pushing him till he lost balance.
‘let’s go outside, too many people here’ jeno locked his fingers with ours once again, which couldn’t make you stop blushing.
you both situated yourselves on the staircase outside the hall, the only people there being the security but they were ready to clock off for the night.
jeno didn’t let go of your interlocked fingers, which you didn’t mind at all.
‘can i tell you something?’ jeno blurted, looking into your eyes with an expression you couldn’t comprehend.
‘is it bad or good?’ you questioned, slightly feeling anxious for his response.
‘you can decide. i just wanted to tell you that, the reason i applied for the job at the shop was to uh, be friends with you’ jeno admitted, completely turning red. you were shocked at his words, your hand reaching to cover your mouth.
‘jeno! why would you- how? god you’re so lame!’ you giggled, softly slapping his shoulder while your fingers remained intertwined.
‘hey! i thought you were really pretty and you seemed so nice, i just had to get to know you!’ jeno blurted out even more, which kept making you giggle.
‘you could have just come into the store instead of staring at me like a creeper’ you teased as his eyes widened,
‘wait you saw that?’
‘yes! i thought you were cute too, don’t worry’ you smiled at him in which he returned the gesture.
‘what i’m trying to say with all of this is that, i really like you. like, you make my days worth while. when i was going through a tough time with my ex, you had my back and always helped me through it. i’m so grateful to have met you, i just can’t get you out of my head” you stopped him from speaking,
‘jeno can you just kiss me please?’ you whisper, bringing yourself closer to his face, your noses touching.
‘w-what?’ he stutters, as you reach to grab the sides of his face.
‘let me kiss you, lee jeno!’ you rolled your eyes playfully as he nodded eagerly. you pulled his lips to yours as he reached to grab onto your sides. kissing jeno was like everything you had imagined. he was gentle, and cautious, yet passionate and warm. you both pulled away, only centimetres apart.
‘wanna go get some tea?’ he joked as you pull him in for another short kiss.
‘you’re so lame, but i guess that’s why i like you’ you replied before intertwining your fingers again and walking with him to his car.
lee jeno was non stop adventure. he was unpredictable. yet, you couldn’t get him out of your head even if you tried.
