As a teenage girl, Sansan, Sanrion, and Sansa x Petyr are all gross to me. I don’t understand how ppl like you ship them because the scenes you guys read as romantic like Blackwater read to me as sexual assault. Even if Sansan got together when Sansa was older, I wouldn’t be able to see it as anything but successful grooming. Sandor is only 3 yrs younger than Petyr & he’s making sexual comments about a 12 year old’s breasts like men that have catcalled me. Her dreams are abt trauma, not romance.
First, let me say how sad I am to hear that you’ve been the target of catcalling especially at a young age. I’ve been in a situation where an older man used his position of power at a social gathering to trap me into hugging him so he could kiss me on the cheek. This was after another incident where he had put his hand on my thigh and I was actively trying to avoid him. I completely understand how icky and shaken it can make you feel when that kind of attention is aimed at you. It still sticks with me some 15 years later. And I know a lot of people in the Sansan community can relate as well from the stories I’ve heard from them. If I, or a lot of other Sansans I know, had been there when you were catcalled, that pervert would have had the fear of God put into him for messing with a kid like that. Men like that are absolute garbage.
Your feelings are totally valid. I’m never going to say you shouldn’t feel a type of way about some ships. I have my squicks too. There are some ships I’m like *gag* “Nope, not for me.”
I’m a little concerned, though, that you are seeking and engaging with fandom content that seems to really upset you and reminds you of your horrible experience. For your own well-being, I’m strongly advising that you don’t do this anymore for a number of reasons. Please, please, please take care of yourself first. There is nothing in fandom that is worth you having to relive experiences that have negatively impacted you. You can curate your dash to block out as many of those blogs (including mine), tags and keywords as possible. If you can’t stay away from it, you might need to ask yourself why that is. Another reason is that there are very unsavory types in anti circles that want to harness other people’s real life trauma and encourage them to believe it is their moral obligation to engage with potentially triggering content to fight against things like real life sexual assault, pedophilia, and predatory behavior. No real life victims are saved or helped by going after fandoms you find objectionable. If people in your circle are making it seem like you are being a good soldier in a noble cause by sending me an anon message like this, I would seriously think about what they want from you, why they aren’t concerned about your well-being first, and if this is a healthy way to be spending your time. Time you’re supposed to be enjoying things and having fun.
Under normal situations, I would say if you wanted to understand why I shipped something, I’d say go through my sansan meta tag; however, I think we’ve established this is probably not a good idea for you. So don’t. You don’t need to understand me or anyone else in any of those other fandoms. Just walk away.
I see that you could still potentially be a minor (under 18), which is why I’ve responded with patience and understanding. This is where I need to get a little stern with you.
I think we can both agree from your message and my response that harassment of any kind is not okay and it doesn’t feel very good to be on the receiving end, does it? So why do you think it’s okay to send people anon messages implying they are bad people for shipping fictional characters? I realize you could have worded it with far more incendiary accusations, and thank you for not doing that at least, but I can still feel your judgement and contempt for me personally.
I just want you to know that I do not care what you think of me, my ship, other ships, or how you interpret the text. Not even a little bit. I don’t care what your interpretation of the Blackwater is because I disagree and I think you’re wrong. Period. I may feel empathy for you because of your horrible experience, but I do not care about anything else you said. I’ve already laid out my responses to interpretations like yourself in great detail in the past. I do not need to explain myself to you or anyone else any further.
Furthermore, ASOIAF is not a series created for a kid or YA audience, even if it features young characters. It’s thoroughly adult content written by an adult for other adults. You enter at your own risk. We are not adult fans invading your underage fandom space with our ships. Absolutely no one is obligated to make their fandom a safe space for you. I can and will ship whatever the hell I want, and I don’t care how it makes you feel, when you are not taking any responsibility in curating your own dash. I am not your parent. I am not responsible for you. I don’t owe you safety and protection from shit that offends you. And it shows great audacity on your part to come seek me out instead of spending time on blogs that make you happy to complain that you don’t like how I keep my house and foist your unsolicited opinion and judgement on me.
Honestly, for you own good, I hope you are taking this to heart to cease harassing blogs in the future and potentially doing yourself harm by engaging with content that upsets you. It’s totally 100% fine for you to not like certain ships for whatever reasons you want. You can rail against them all you want on your own blog if that’s how you like to spend your time. By all means, block me if you haven’t already, but knock off the anon bullshit and leave people alone.

There’s a specific group of Scott fans (the Scott McCall Defense Squad bunch) that desperately cling to this idea that “if anything happened to Scott, Stiles would immediately drop everything and fly himself home powered by sheer rage on his alpha’s behalf” and only tolerate Stiles when they rewrite him as Scott’s own personal attack dog [...]
•••
Anon, I cut the post because it's quite long, but I'll try to address each of your points.
I've come across posts like this from @msmischief101 enough to know I'm going to be glazing over as I read the entire submission. I usually just skip over reading these things because I don't know what the heck is going on most of the time, but I'll do my best, anyway.
.
First, yes I have heard of the Scott McCall Defense Squad and their plight to make Scott a reasonable character - which we can't fault them for, because that is what they believe in, just like they can't fault others for not agreeing. It doesn't always necessarily make one side wrong, and one side right. Now this part: and only tolerate Stiles when they rewrite him as Scott’s own personal attack dog - if it's true (I haven't been in Tumblr long enough to dig up these claims), then it makes pro Scott McCall and anti Stiles Stilinski exclusively related which, I think, is meh. It's not one character's fault that another is underappreciated. Not one character is the deterrent point to the potential of another. Anti Scott is anti Scott, and anti Stiles is just that, as well.
Funny enough, though, I have seen an anti Stiles tag, but not one for his defense. I guess, there's no need to defend Stiles because he's widely accepted as a flawed character. That's how the show marketed his personality, so we acknowledge that from the beginning.
Now for the idea that "if anything happened to Scott, Stiles would immediately drop everything and fly himself home powered by sheer rage on his alpha’s behalf", I do think Stiles would do that, actually. He's loyal like that but not to his "alpha", but his friend. Now, I know how the usual pack heirarchy works with the alpha as the leader, but I don't think Stiles is a subjugate to Scott at all. I remember a scene in season 3, when Derek had a speech about "not fighting for Scott, but his cause" to the twins if they wanted to be in the pack. I half agree and don't with that. The cause of the alpha should be the cause of the entire pack, and not his personal vendetta. I believe Stiles would know the distinction.
For this point (which veered from the original premise of Stiles raging for Scott, that kinda addled my brain lol): "when Liam brings Theo back from Hell in Teen Wolf Season 6, the only one who shows any kind of hatred, rage, resentment, contempt, and still holds a grudge against Theo for playing Scotty like a fiddle and for successfully putting Scotty into an early grave is… Scotty himself." I reviewed the scenes you added, because I don't remember much about season 6.
To be fair, I guess he had a reason to resent Theo for almost killing him, if he wasn't revived by Melissa. But what I don't get, is how Scott could feel all this rage against Theo who only ever meant an extreme harm on him, and not feel the same about Deucalion who meant harm to everyone. It's a very questionable choice, if he really was about saving whomever they could.
This line from dialogue in season 6 episode 7 that you attached, "Can’t we just try to find somebody that we at least trust?" -yeah, that means Deucalion. Which is baffling. The way Scott chooses his former-villain allies is suspiciously centered on their ability to defeat him. Because of all that tried, only Theo was successful. His fear is understandable, I guess. He should be. But putting himself in the center of the argument like "Remember who Theo is! He got into your head and you tried to kill me! And when that didn’t work, he did kill me! And Tracy, and Josh, and his sister." is...double meh. He had a point, but now, let's also rewind season 5. Wasn't it Deucalion that planted the idea to Theo to kill Josh and Tracy, in the first place? Theo isn't the only one capable of brainwashing, and yet Scott trusted Deucalion. But ultimately, the choice to act on the idea was Theo's, similarly that the choice to fight Scott for his alpha-ness was Liam's, and Liam arrived to his decision as influenced by Scott. It was a chain of events, so Theo shouldn't bear the brunt of everything, and Scott wasn't Theo's only victim.
And now returning to your main point, "Scott/Posey extremists’ “true alpha Scott is the center of everyone’s universe and their main priority, and if Peter Hale killed Scott, Stiles would be utterly devastated and should despise Peter and the Hales on Scott’s behalf” self insert power fantasy has 0 basis in canon" -I agree that Scott isn't and shouldn't be the center of Stiles's and everyone's universe, but he and the others would feel devastated, all the same. Because again, Stiles is loyal like that -but more for the pack, than only for Scott; for a friend, and not a superior.
So, Scott made horrible choices, but so did most of them -even Stiles. If the defense squad wanted to write up Stiles, or anyone else, as Scott's lapdog to make him relevant, they certainly can. If we wanted to disagree, we certainly can, as well. But I reiterate, it doesn't always necessarily make one side wrong, and one side right. Especially, because arguments for Teen Wolf are all based on assumptions, theories, and deductions that are more often subjective than objective.
We can hate and love fictional characters in peace ✌️
For the record, I don't know what's happening in this post since halfway through. I tried lmao

aheavenlyrush replied to your post “I’ve been on tumblr since 2012 and I was even a John Green fan for a...”
i saw that jg post on my feed and i had no energy to comment on it but truly when i saw that you had i felt such relief!! i remember making that one post about stiefvater defending him and telling teenage girls to be quiet and the response to it still fucking haunts me i swear
Oy, was it really that recently? The last three years have taken 900 years. And yeah... Maggie Stiefvater’s post about it was a Really Bad Look, and iirc that was the environment that spawned the beginning of the batshit “Keep YA Kind”* concern-trolling thing (yep, also 2015) that was mainly used to silence girls and women and people of color whenever the four white cishet men in YA fucked up between 2015 and 2018, when it finally publicly came out that most of them were, yk, fucking up because they’re legitimately horrible people and maybe the people calling them out should have been taken seriously.
* The other notable “why the fuck is this happening???? why is HE the one getting the sympathy here?????” events from “Keep YA Kind,” which, listen, I would bet you anything that it was very very nearly called “Keep Kidlit Kind” until the only person involved with 1/4 of a braincell managed to realize the acronym on their Twitter handle looked REALL BAD:
Andrew Smith, a straight white adult man, says out loud with his human adult man mouth, that he knows he can’t write female characters well and relies on fetishization and stereotypes because he never really met a girl until his daughter (??? SO WHAT IS YOUR WIFE, ANDREW? CHOPPED LIVER?) and, being as that is Bullshit and also his books were also being lauded as though they were Infinite fucking Jest Jr. even though the interview in question was for a book in which mutant grasshoppers take over the earth and a teenage boy gets trapped in a bunker with a teenage girl who eventually has to git to birthin’ babies she doesn’t want and isn’t medically prepared to have safely For The Good Of Humanity, he’s called out.
He’s called out mostly on a technical, writing level at first, even! Like, “Here’s how to write a female character: you write a fully considered, well-rounded character. They’re a girl.” And Andrew Smith FLIPS HIS SHIT, does some op-ed about how his mother used to beat him so he can’t see girls as people, and makes his twitter private. The “Keep YA Kind” sycophants support him HARD.
And then this happens to pop up on a mysterious Twitter that just HAPPENS to start while HIS twitter’s offline...
NOTE: Jay Asher, author of 13 Reasons Why, was literally dropped from his publisher and SCWBI for being a sexual predator. So like, I don’t think he was bullied, I think his predation was being remarked upon. Like, idk, maybe that he was being called creepy or sth idk idk idk
And then when A.S. decided to unsockpuppet to promote his next book, The Alex Crow, which is about mutant crows and a bunker or whatever:
The “asshole” in specific that Andrew Smith was calling an asshole was delightful human being and fellow author Kate Messner, who, coincidentally, was one of the victims to come out against Lemony Snicket’s sexual harrassment, so she’s had a BULLSHIT time just trying to do her JOB of being an author while female.
Which leads to Tommy Wallach! All-around fucknut! Whose major interest seems to be being That Guy In Philosophy 101 Who Always Has To Be Devil’s Advocate, Even Though No One Asked, and has a deeply vested interest in making sure that teenage girl readers -- who are his target audience, because he chose to write YA, as an adult man who made a choice in what he wrote and chose to make it YA, and not, like, any of the hundreds of genres that AREN’T largely written about and for teenage girls, yk -- know that teenage girls are Dumb. Victoria Schwab actually wrote an essay for YA Books Central about the incessant problem that IS/WAS Tommy Wallach called “We Need To Talk About Tommy” back in -- you guessed it! -- 2016, but it’s offline now and I’m not going to go Wayback it rn.
I’m just going to copypasta YAinterrobang’s Wallach timeline because he’s exhausting, he reminds me of undergrad.
Wallach’s continual pattern of behavior is worth discussing, especially in the context of sexism in YA and the continual marginalization of “diverse” voices in the community despite the efforts of the We Need Diverse Books movement.
Wallach’s problematic behavior runs back over a year, starting with a defense of Andrew Smith where he ignores the opinions of author and advocate Tessa Gratton in favor of a dictionary definition of sexism. (Andrew Smith’s behavior and the fallout around his statements have, of course, already been documented on YA Interrobang in “The Curious Case of Andrew Smith, Twitter & sexism.”) Wallach postures that women are inherently “other” from men, accuses Gratton of “gin[ning]up the controversy” and explains that he is a feminist because he was “raised by a single working mother and she’s still my best friend in the world.”
[View Wallach’s defense of Smith and attack on Gratton as a .pdf.]
Fast forward to later that year. Author Justina Ireland takes to Twitter to discuss a book where she feels the black character is self-hating. Ireland, being black herself, is asked about the book in question; she says that it’s Wallach’s debut novel We All Looked Up. Though Wallach is not tagged, he swoops into the conversation and demands Ireland provide proof that his character Anita is self-hating before claiming that author Dhonielle Clayton, who is also black, is friends with him and “engaged” with him on the issues in the book.
Clayton later stated publicly that she had not done any sensitivity reading on We All Looked Up.
What brought Wallach’s behavior to the attention of the YA world as a whole came this past November in the wake of the horrifying terrorist attacks in Paris. When the hashtag #prayforparis went viral, Wallach responded with multiple social media posts and a blog post about how atheism was the only belief that could make the world a better place. (Though Wallach argues that it is not, in fact, a belief: “The fact that we have a word for it makes it seem like it’s equivalent to other belief systems, but it’s not. The absence of something is not equivalent to the thing itself.”)
[View Wallach’s comments on atheism as a .pdf.]
After Wallach Tweeted that he was a a rabid atheist, and the world would be a better place if more folk were” – a Tweet he subsequently deleted before deleting his account in its entirety – he doubled down in a block post that outlined all the way religions failed and all the reasons atheism was awesome.
Those who tried to explain to him why this behavior was – to say the least – problematic found themselves quickly blocked or shut down; at once point, Wallach tried to explain anti-Semitism to Jewish author Hannah Moskowitz before claiming that “if [her]parents are atheists and [his]dad is Jewish, [he’s] as much Jewish as [her].”
(For those wondering, Wallach blocked me during this incident despite being friendly with me and having taken my advice previously; while he did believe me in regards to his behavior towards Justina Ireland, which you can see in Tweets above, my snarky comment to him about “the only good people are the people who are exactly like me” was, apparently, too much for him to take. As Wallach’s account has since been deleted and I purged my social media account in January, that interaction is no longer publicly available.)
Take this behavior in comparison to author LJ Silverman, who recently received a sea of anti-Semitic hate mail – including crude manipulated images of her in an oven – for Tweeting that she was worried about the upcoming election in the context of history. Wallach painted himself to be the victim, somebody “attacked” for insulting all of the religious folks in the YA community, while Silverman, who simply shared a worry plaguing her, became a victim of virulent trolls.
While Wallach deleted his social media accounts after this, there were no public consequences to his actions despite ill-will from the YA community at large. If another member of the YA community had spoken out – one of our Catholic or Islamic or Jewish or Mormon authors, for instance – the backlash would have been substantially worse, possibly career-ruining.
Wallach’s career, however, was not ruined; he recently landed a six-figure deal for a book trilogy centered around a “holy war.”
And thus, we return to Wallach’s dismissive comments on suicide – which, it turned out, were neither new or original. In a blog post deleted after it came to light during this discussion, Wallach rated “the top ten literary suicides (organized by emo-ness)” which included all of the characters of HBO’s Girls – “It’s really just a fantasy of mine.” – and, ranking at number one, Sylvia Plath – who is not a character but a real person who suffered from depression before taking her own life at a young age.
[View Wallach’s post on suicide as a .pdf.]
“I’m only going to talk about the fact that a successful YA author found it appropriate to glorify, romanticize, and mock what for many of his readers is among the highest causes of death,” wrote Schwab in her “We Need To Talk About Tommy” post. “That this author could be so very careless and flippant and insensitive about such a very serious issue is abhorrent. That two years after penning this post he still sees suicide as something to be made light of, to be used as a marketing tool.”
Simon & Schuster made no public comment about any of Wallach’s comments. His career, save for making enemies of some fellow authors, seems relatively unscathed by his callous actions.
Anyway, the moral of the story is, like, if you wanna read books by straight white dudes, go for it, but check them out from the library. Spend your book-buying money on books by women, nonbinary/other folks, and dudes who aren’t straight and/or white. Straight white men, PARTICULARLY in categories of literature that are largely targeted towards girls and women, and largely written by girls and women -- but published, edited, and marketed by other straight white men -- are lauded FAR above what they’re actually worth, as like, storytellers or human people go.
The Glass Escalator is a one-way trip to wonderland, but YA is a skyscraper that was built by women and I PROMISE you, whatever book by one of these dudes you’re considering reading, there’s a better version by a woman and/or person of color on the shelves nearby that just didn’t get 1/10th of the marketing money.
And of course there should be an effort to be kind on social media, but “keep YA kind”... to whom? To the people who were being silenced when they were pointing out legitimate problems with the behaviors of men in social power? (And one of whom, in the case of Jay Asher, was LITERALLY DANGEROUS BC HE IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR.) Like, really? There had to be a hashtag campaign to silence dozens of people with legitimate, not-bullying-just-pointing-out-problems-that-are-problems-with-stuff-you-did-dude problems, to make social media feel more comfortable for four middle-aged straight white men?
As though the outside world isn’t comfortable enough for middle-aged straight white men????

a/n: this took super long to write but it was super fun!!! i love it so much ❤❤
genre: fluff, a dab of smut, author!reader
warnings: smut mentions,
pairing: jimin x reader
words: 5.2k
The book store was like a secret sanctuary for you. You liked to spend hours on end, wandering the seemingly looming bookshelves. By now, you had probably read every book inside that bookstore, but it didn’t matter. You loved every single piece of ink covered paper all the same.
No one ever read anything anymore. Since technology had advanced, there was no need to read anymore. No need for paperbacks or hardcovers. Instead, people could pull out a new gadget and pull up whatever they want on that. You, on the other hand, was always the odd one out. You had been handed these things all your life, but your heart had always yearned for the feel of rough surface instead of thin technology.
Most people that read your work don’t recognize you. There aren’t many of those people, but there are enough to prove that you are indeed a successful author. However, your appearance contrasts to what everyone thinks you are, and you have yet to show your face to the world. Instead, you had put a portrait drawn by none other but yourself in the back of the book, giving them the only hint of your facial features that they would ever get.
To those who see you, though, you appear to them as a slightly taller girl. You’re lanky, but not too skinny. Your hair is on the curlier side, which tends to bother you every day. Large, round frames of glass sit on your face, and freckles dimple the surface between your eyes as well as under them. You dress like a normal journalist; big brown trench coat with big pockets, leggings, a baggy shirt, a book bag, converse and a beanie. You’re a hippie to the world as it is now.
What you don’t expect to encounter while disappearing into your mental world, as a fact, is bumping into a hard figure that wasn’t the bookshelf. Instead, it was around your height, maybe even a few centimeters taller, but that’s it. You stumbled back, the words on the tip of your tongue as his wide brown eyes met with your panic filled green eyes.
“I-I’m so sorry,” you blurted, the words curling off your tongue and into the air as quickly as possible, a slight stutter tagging along as your heart began thumping in your chest. You didn’t like talking to people, you were possibly the most anti-social person you knew. Anxiety made it hard to have friends, as you were constantly apologizing for things you didn’t even realize weren’t your cause.
Upon blurting, you began taking in what the boy looked like. He had ashy brown hair, obviously newly dyed as streaks of blonde poked out here and there. Personally, you thought it added character, but you barely knew this guy, let alone were you on a base where you could compliment his hair. He had a cute face, too, with wide, puppy like brown eyes and thick, plump lips. His nose was small, and it complimented him.
However, he seemed to be pure muscle from what you had bumped into, as well as the skin tight shirt currently hugging him beneath his baggy hoodie. You were too busy analyzing him, that you didn’t realize he had began talking, all whilst looking highly amused. A deep shade of red covered your face, now cancelling out your freckles as your cold hands slipped into the deep, rough fabric of your jacket.
“You didn’t hear a word I just said, did you?” He hummed, his voice sweet as honey and thick in the air. You would’ve normally been swooning if you didn’t know who he was. If the hair didn’t give it away, his voice and muscle did. This wasn’t just some normal commoner you had ran into.
No, it had to be world famous vocalist Park Jimin.
“I, uh, no,” you cleared your throat, looking down at your feet, which were nervously shifting. You just wanted to disappear into thin air at that moment, but you couldn’t. He chuckled in the background, you could hear the almost angelic sound. How could anyone not? Then again, it was most likely just you two in the book store for right now.
A hand that was more on the tan side flew through his hair, letting some of the strands fall back and then onto his forehead. “I said it was okay, and that you seemed to be in your own private mind world.” He described, a finger tapping his temple. You noticed a large brown freckle there, and it intrigued you. You snapped out of it early though, he was famous, and you weren’t.
“I totally was, I didn’t see you at all. Anyways, carry on, I’ll just…” You swallowed, a bead of sweat rolling down your neck. It was the worst time ever to start sweating out of cold nerves, but here you were. You quickly tried to slip away, laughing in panic and fake happiness.
But before you could disappear into the bookshelves completely, he suddenly yelped, “wait!”. You felt a hand wrap around your arm, surprisingly warm, stopping you in your tracks. You tripped, almost falling, but Jimin thankfully saved you from that horrible path by pulling you back up. Otherwise, you would be on the ground by now, embarrassed and with a flushed face. This time, he had a motive to try to talk to you.
“Actually, I was going to ask- do you know where I can find the book ‘Promise Me?’ I heard the series was really good, and yet, I can’t find it.” He said, this time voice riddled with a sheepish tone. Your eyes widened. ‘Promise Me’ was a series you had written and was still writing. Someone like him was trying to read your books. The thought hit you like a bullet, ripping through your mind and almost destroying your ability to do anything else.
You didn’t let that show on the outside though. Instead, you freed yourself of his grip, your tongue darting out to lick your lips ever-so-quickly before disappearing. You were pushing up your glasses, already leading him to the shelf where you had memorized the fact your books rested here. “Yeah, actually, follow me.”
The bookshelf was only around two footsteps away, yet you still stumbled, accidentally tugging Jimin forward. With an embarrassed huff, you let him go and pointed to the very bottom shelf of the tall, brown case. You needed to get out of there, and fast, if you were to survive the rest of the world’s wrath.
He didn’t have time to look up and say anything, though, because you were already bolting out of the store. With a jolt you realized you had really been sweating, because the part under your glasses where the bridge of your nose was had collected some of the drops. You wiped your nose quickly, now paying attention to your surroundings.
Rain was falling, a loud pattering sound echoing throughout the city as it hit the gray cement. Cars didn’t help; tires hit the large puddles beginning to accumulate on the side of the road, and you groaned as you realized you had to walk in this. Flipping up your hood, you quickly looked around again before heading straight towards your rather small apartment building.
The next time you saw Park Jimin wasn’t necessarily in real life. Instead, him and his boy group were doing a showcase on the TV that you had decided to turn on while brainstorming for your third installment of the series you had been working on for a while. You were extremely surprised to hear certain words tumble out of the now silver haired boy.
“Also, shout out to the author of the ‘Promise Me’ books. You write really beautiful books, and I can’t wait for the third book.” He seemed to say, the words filtering through your TV. You whipped around, eyes wide as you stared at the TV, almost dumbfounded.
You were so dumbfounded that you didn’t notice the chair you were currently resting in was tipping over. Within seconds of turning around, you were thrown onto the ground, chair clashing with your body after you hit first. It didn’t break, but you felt like you did. Pain throbbed all spots of your body, mostly the right side as you shifted, pushing the chair up and off of you.
The glasses you were wearing had fallen onto the ground, and you stumbled to find them, quickly putting them back on when you did find them so that you could see. You put the chair back to where it was originally, huffing with effort. A hand flew up to wipe the beads of sweat now forming on your forehead, attention falling back to the wide box in the front of your small apartment room.
The camera had moved on from Jimin and now was focusing on another bandmate, who you barely remembered the name of. It was like… Jungkook? Yeah, you were sure that was his name. He was seemingly the youngest, and had a very boyish look. His face contrasted his body, though. You clicked your tongue, shaking your head slightly as you turned back to the laptop setting upon the hickory desk you had managed to force into the room.
‘First sentence… first sentence…’ Your mind urged at you, trying to spit out words to type into the laptop in front of you. However, no matter how much you tried to search your brain for the words, nothing came out. Your fingers lay still, not wanting to type anything in fear of it being a useless idea. Most of the time, ideas would flow through your mind like a river waiting to spill, but today, that river was drier than a desert on a summer day.
The only thing clear in there was the words “Park Jimin”. For some reason, ever since that day in the bookstore, you couldn’t clear the boy out of your mind. Normally you didn’t pay attention to mainstream music, you thought it was okay but you preferred indie. Things like Dean, Crush, DPR Live, Heize; people like BTS were too famous, and their music sounded like stuff that came straight from another boy group.
You closed your laptop, a loud groan escaping from your mouth as you let your hands find their way to your head. They held your face, your eyes closing as you let your mind rest for a few seconds. Often enough you would be up all night, spending your time brainstorming ideas instead of sleeping. It was a bad habit you most likely needed to fix, but were you going to? Absolutely not.
Instead of staying there and getting frustrated over some measly writers block, you grabbed your book sack and stuffed some of your journals in there, throwing it on and slipping some shoes on. You figured you would go to your friend’s, brainstorm there. He could help you, as he was a fellow writer, although lately he had been going for the singer career. All that you had done at his decision for that was laugh and call him crazy. He was dead serious, though.
Not forgetting your car keys, you exited your apartment and made your way down stairs, careful not to trip (you had done that enough lately.) as you walked as fast as you could. Within no time you were outside, jogging to your car. Today was contrasting yesterday, with the bright golden rays of the sun lighting everything around you. It seemed cheery, but you could care less.
After Jaehyun had dragged you up, he had actually done a pretty well job of making you look more presentable. For a guy like him, he had a decent sense of fashion, you quickly found. Your hair was now up in a messy but also somewhat put together bun, clothing now matching. You looked presentable.
You pushed the door to the records shop open, the bell hanging on the door chiming loudly as the both of you stepped in. Music played from speakers hidden near the ceiling while racks of albums and records stood tall everywhere. It was like heaven to you, and you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling widely. You loved music.
“Calm down there, you look like you just found diamond among a pile of rocks.” Jaehyun mused from beside you, his hands tucked neatly into his dress pants and his hair now styled back. He looked quite nice, and the more you walked around with him, the more people somewhat audibly swooned over him.
“You should know by now how much I love music,” you snorted, rapidly going through shelves to try to find albums you wanted. Luckily, no one there recognized you from the messy portrait in your books, and you were still in the clear for public interaction.
Another bell chimed, and you didn’t bother looking back. A multitude of voices was added to the not-very-busy background of the record shop, and you were just going to pass the voices off as a group of friends. Jaehyun began aggressively tapping your shoulder, almost shaking it, as he faced away. Something had caught his attention.
Grumbling, you turned to him. “What the fuck do you want, Jae-” you nearly dropped the albums you had collected in your arms, now understanding why Jaehyun was so focused on the scenery in front of you. There, by the door, stood a group of 7 boys, all laughing and giggling as they conversed with eachother. No one else in the shop seemed to notice, or care.
“Why the hell would BTS come to this record store at this time?!” Jaehyun turned with you, aggressively (and slightly panickedly) hissing in your ear. You shrugged, pretending you were still paying attention to the records in front of you. You realized this was the second time you had encountered Jimin now.
“I don’t know! Just act normal,” you hissed back, slapping Jaehyun’s arm. You quickly tried to hide your face, because if Jimin saw you, it would be all over. Jaehyun went back to picking out albums for you and requesting stuff, and you eventually forgot that BTS was currently in the shop at point.
You looked up at Jaehyun, smiling and laughing at a joke he made, before a voice next to you made you jump. You almost fell onto Jaehyun, who now stood tall behind you, making sure you didn’t faint due to anxiety.
“Hey, wait, aren’t you the girl that helped me find the book at the bookstore? Ah, uh, what’s your name…” He quickly seemed to try to jolt his brain, staring down as he focused on thought. Jaehyun had no clue, and was now curious on what happened. You had never told him you had met Park Jimin before. Your face flushed as you stuttered, back into your flustered state from yesterday.
“I uh, actually never gave you my name. I-its Y/N.” You embarrassedly explained, the blush on your face turning even darker (if that was possible by now.). Jaehyun had never seen you like this, and was genuinely interested on what happened. No one else had ever made you like this, not even your crushes from school. Jimin was blushing too, his own face now red from embarrassment.
“O-oh! I didn’t realize that. That’s kinda cool… you have the same name of…” He trailed off, suddenly squinting at your face. It took him a moment before his eyes widened, something obviously clicking in his brain as he licked his lips. He began moving, pointing at you and smiling.
“You’re seriously the writer of ‘Promise Me’?! I’m like, a huge fan-” he giggled, cut off by someone else suddenly appearing, the boy slinging his arm around Jimin’s shoulders. Jaehyun realized that it was Jungkook, and suddenly he himself was getting shy. You looked up at him, feeling him tense with the arrival of Jungkook. Jaehyun was staring at the younger, the two having some intense eye contact.
Both you and Jimin seemed to notice, because both of you happened to begin chuckling at the same time. Jungkook looked down, blushing furiously as Jaehyun looked to the side. The taller of all three of them had his hands nervously tucked into his pants. You and Jimin wiggled your eyebrows at each other.
“A fan, huh? Well, that’s nice to know because I’m fan of yours,” you said, recovering from your flustered state and transforming back into the confident girl Jae knew. Jimin smiled, holding his hand out for you to shake. You indeed did, dipping your head slightly and smiling back. It was too formal, and seen more of a joke than anything.
“Hey, actually, I need a certain album; Jimin, you wanna look with me?” You proposed the idea, glancing between Jungkook and Jaehyun, who was eyeing you like you were crazy. You saw Jaehyun swallow nervously. Jimin seemed to get the hint and nodded, following you to another section of the store. You didn’t hesitate to talk when you got far away enough.
“I swear I’ve never seen my friend that starstruck by someone ever before,” you hummed, leaning against the shelf. Jimin did the same, laughing as he shook his head. You couldn’t help but think it was one of the most beautiful sights you had ever seen. What the fuck? Y/N, no, you’re famous, he’s even more famous, you can’t begin to like him, your inner mind snapped at you, and you knew it was true. You couldn’t think about him that way.
“Honestly, the sexual tension between those two was intense. What’s your friend’s name?” He asked, folding his arms. His tongue poked out of his mouth just the tiniest bit, you noticed, and you quickly looked back to his wide eyes before he noticed.
“Jaehyun. Yours was Jungkook, right?” You asked, squinting slightly as if contradicting yourself. Jimin laughed and nodded, not questioning how you knew it was Jungkook. He practically already knew. You glanced over to where Jaehyun and Jungkook were, grinning as you saw the two eagerly conversing. You nudged Jimin, pointing to the two. He tried not to laugh.
“Can I say, 'future couple’?” You whistled, to which Jimin nodded aggressively. His silver hair flopped loosely around, and you pressed down the urge to run your fingers through his silky locks. It just looked so… soft. He turned around and you both fell into a conversation, easily talking. He was surprisingly attentive, and intelligible to talk to.
Time flew, and when you checked your phone, your eyes practically bulged. You had an event to attend, which Jaehyun was also going to. You looked back up at Jimin, who had an eyebrow raised. What had got you so flustered?
“I really, really need to go, I didn’t even realize what time it was.” You chuckled breathily, panicking slightly. Jimin nodded, understanding the urgency of events. He didn’t want to stop talking to you, so he immediately began talking again.
“Before you go, though, could I get your number? I’d like to keep talking,” he suggested, and he was dead sure he saw you blush instantaneously. You just nodded, though, and shakily took out your phone for him. He entered his number, before taking out his own phone and collecting yours. Holy shit, I just got Park Jimin’s number, you thought, eyes widening. Your movements stuttered as you put your phone back, moving away from Jimin timidly.
“Bye~!” Your voice wavered, tiny now compared to the chatty person you were a few seconds ago. That’s okay, though, Jimin couldn’t resist thinking you were cute. You made your way back to Jaehyun, who was wrapping up his conversation with Jungkook. He had finished right when you got there, waving bye to Jungkook as the two exchanged smiles.
You grabbed Jaehyun’s meaty bicep and began to drag him out of the store, hurrying towards your car. He stared at you, kind of confused when you threw him into the passengers seat. He waited for you to get in the drivers seat to pelt you with questions, though.
“How did you know Jimin? Why did you guys leave me? Where are we going-” he rambled, before you pressed a finger to his lips, shutting him up. You didn’t want to deal with his questions quite yet, and you needed to meet your manager at the event. He barely accepted letting Jaehyun attend this event, let alone being late as well.
Jaehyun didn’t talk the rest of the way.
This chair was extremely uncomfortable. You hated plastic chairs, and this one had no arm rest, so it was even worse. Your fingers ached with every penmark, your eyes tired of seeing your own books at this point. You were sure you didn’t want to see another copy of your book any time after this event.
The only thing keeping you going was Jaehyun’s hands on your shoulders, gently massaging them to make sure you didn’t tense up too badly, as well as the beyond happy faces of fans passing through. Some cried, some were quiet, some wanted skinship, some were loud, and others wanted info. All were annoying, except for the quiet ones. It made you happy knowing people loved your work, though. You didn’t mean it when you said your fans were annoying.
You stuck it out, though, making small conversation with Jaehyun every few seconds. He endured it too, knowing these events were tiring. Some fans were amazed at how pretty you were, your face no longer a mystery to the fandom. You were sure there would be fancams and pictures all over the internet after this. Some asked if Jaehyun was your boyfriend, and you just laughed and said no. One fan, though, stood out.
“Do you know Park Jimin?” He had asked, although you couldn’t read his face because a mask wrapped around his face. He had a cap on, too. You just smiled, nodding slightly.
“I do, he’s a friend of mine,” you simply answered, finishing off the signing with one last person. Everyone else had left, and that’s when he took off his cap and mask. No longer than 3 hours later, Jimin was back, having escaped his own event to attend yours. You were astonished, jaw dropped as you observed him.
“Well hello there, friend,” he teased, smiling so widely that his eyes made crescents. You laughed. Unbelievable. Park fucking Jimin attended my signing event. You repeated in your head, Jaehyun gawking at the both of you yet again. Before both of you could talk, Jaehyun butted in.
“Okay, how the hell do you two know each other?” Jae demanded, sassily putting his hands on his hips. Jimin blinked, looking up at him and then at you. You leaned back, shrugging as you pushed your glasses further up your nose.
“She helped me look for a book,” Jimin said, and Jaehyun just nodded, lost in thought. It was an entirely possible situation, as Jae knew you spent a lot of time at that bookstore around the corner. You blushed slightly at the thought, now rubbing your face. Why did you blush at everything Jimin did?
You couldn’t find an answer to that question.

Hello Luna and welcome to New Orleans, the city of The Damned. Thank you so much for applying, you have been successful for the role of Elena Gilbert. Welcome to the family, but for now it’s time to get down to business…
Head on over to the New Member Checklist, careful not to go down any dark alleys, it’s not safe here.
OUT OF CHARACTER:
Name: Luna
Pronouns: She/Her
Age: 22
Timezone/Country: EST/USA
Triggers: RFP
Activity Level: 8 I would count my activity level at a high 8 because I am currently on my summer break and classes do not begin for me until late August. Even though I know I would be able to continue my activity because I am not currently taking a job between classes this semester. I’ve been a rp’er for around +11 years now so I have a pretty good handle on how to balance RP and IRL.
How Did You Hear About Us: I was just searching through the TVD RP + TO RP tags and found an ad for this RPG. I really liked the layout and the combo of three big tv shows. I’ve never been in a RPG where it also featured TW RP and wanted to try it.
Anything Else?: I’m excited to start writing if I’m accepted!
DESIRED CHARACTER:
Desired Character: Elena Gilbert
Why This Character?: I chose to RP as Elena because I always admired her spunk and dedication to her family. I adored watching through the series, through the smiles and tears and frustrating character twists. She’s so human. So naive and young and unsure in a world where someone could kill her in a blink. She takes it head on for her friends, for her brother, and in the memory of the parents she lost. And even the changes she goes through, i.e. turning into a vampire, she learns to live with the best of it and work on the worst of it.
Any FC Changes?: Nope!
Ships/Anti-ships: Here’s the age old question: Stelena or Delena? I’d definitely say throughout the series I was 80% Stelena shipper. During certain points I began to find myself leaning towards Delena a bit more, but that was very much towards the end. Each ship had their ups and downs but I’ll always love that ‘epic love’ the two had. When it comes to a character that isn’t named Salvatore, Elena would definitely fall for the kindhearted do gooder. She wants and needs more light in her world so someone who can be a positive influence would definitely be the path she walks down.
Headcanons: W: There was a time that simply writing the letter W felt like it knocked the air out of Elena’s chest. W, w, w. ‘Say it,’ she’d force herself. ‘Wickery Bridge.’ A girl who lived and breathed every moment of her life in her journal was defeated by the letter W. It began a word that never meant anything more than a way in and out of town, but now was like a brand on her heart. There were pages of just the letter following the crash and funeral. W.. W.. Wick. No, scratched out. Slowly but surely, the word Wickery Bridge was written down. “My parents died on Wickery Bridge.” BREAKUP: Following the days Elena broke up with her high school sweetheart, Love Song by Sara Bareilles played on the radio nonstop. At first, it absolutely annoyed her. How upbeat it was while she was nothing but bummed out. Every station played it eventually, she couldn’t run and walking was getting annoying when she had to carry so much biology homework home. Eventually, she gave in one night on the way home from cheer practice and gave the song a listen. She thought about seeing her ex-sweetheart on the field catching passes while Caroline barked out orders in her peppy voice. After awhile she stopped changing it. Fingers slowly started tapping on the wheel, her head followed suit. Humming turned into full blown rocking out with her hair going everywhere and a huge smile on her face. One night her and Bonnie were dancing and singing in Elena’s car when she took the next line. “I’m not gonna write you to stay. If your heart is nowhere in it, I don’t want it for a minute!” Unfortunately, he and some friends were walking to their cars. Ouch. ICE CREAM: As little girls, Caroline coordinated the flavors the three of them would eat. Strawberry for Bonnie, Vanilla for Caroline, and Chocolate for Elena. The three would have Neapolitan ice cream for every single birthday from ages 5 to 15. Luckily, it was their favorites already but Caroline liked to take the credit for it. In secret though, Elena would get a mint chocolate chip. She never got it in front of the other girls, not even wanting the smallest little thing to disappoint Caroline and their familiar dynamic.
Please Provide At Least One: Moodboard & Playlist
CHARACTER QUESTIONNAIRE:
How Does Your Character Feel About The Peace Treaty?: Elena is entirely for the treaty. Her life has been thrown upside down ever since she found out that those she loves most are Supernatural; Bonnie and Caroline, Witch and Vampire, respectively. If there are rules set in place, that she may or may not be very naive about, she believes it can help protect them. She also thinks it might help her friends in more ways than just protecting them. Perhaps it will help them with control and staying out of bad situations brought on by their new nature.
Slice of Life: ‘Dear Diary..’ Elena’s day must always start with a journal entry unless she’s overslept and is running late to classes at NOU. She always sits to the left of Bonnie with Caroline on the right in class, listening to what gossip Caroline has at the time trickle down to her. Pay attention, absorb information, hold back the occasional giggle as Bonnie makes a comment at their professors horrible toupee. Elena always makes sure to enjoy every laugh, breath, smile given and received. Life is difference once you’ve lost people, you appreciate it more. And she very much appreciates the mundane even more now that it’s less and less prevalent in her life. Following classes is a bit of relaxing in the grass on campus, either alone or with her two best friends as usual. Work comes at night in the form of a waitress at Rousseau’s, walking there with fellow employee Cami O’Connell. She helps keep the weird ones at bay while Elena gets her footing there. She tries with all her might to close her eyes and picture the Grill back in Mystic Falls but she knows there’s far worse here than just the regular drinkers back in Virginia.
What is Your Character’s Greatest Fear? How Does This Affect Your Character?: What’s a greatest fear that’s already come true? The life of Elena Gilbert. Fear never goes away– it grows, transforms. First it was her parents, extensions of her heart ripped away. That was a living nightmare. Once grieving packed up and left ( or does it? do we ever stop grieving or does it go away for awhile? ) she latched onto the last extension of her heart, Jeremy. She began to have nightmares of losing him as well, wishing more than nothing to crawl into bed and hold her little brother tight and never let go. Elena often wonders if this is what it’s like to be a parent, often seeing Jeremy as a mixture of her little brother and someone who she needs to protect and take care of as a parent would do. Thus, her new greatest fear is losing him. But just beneath the surface, just barely hiding, is a fear that is so buried it’s almost forgotten about. Almost. Elena fears losing herself along the way. Who will care for Jeremy? Who will take care of Caroline while she’s transitioning and adjusting? Who will bring Bonnie down to earth when she gets too carried away with spells? She anchors herself to who she is by holding onto those around her so tightly that she might be suffocating them as well.

“Valentine Fandom Ask Meme”
Disclaimer: It’s a shipping meme, and I’m blunt and honest; there are going to be some anti-ship mentions here. NOTPs mentioned [vehemently] include BBRae, Ja//s//pis, and Terraven.
You have been warned.
Your favourite non-canon ship? ...mmmh, this depends: define "canon". ;}P Canon as in, not CANON-canon, but canon in my fanfictions?~ SECERTSHIPPING. Dove and Srentha are my forever favorite. Their relationship is incredible and they're genuinely a romantic inspiration to me. ...however... As for "not a canon romantic couple in the actual canon universe"? I have to say RobRae. I can't help it, it just... feels like if they canonically felt that way for each other, it would work. Really, really well.
Is there a ship you didn’t like at first but ultimately started shipping? ....Not that I can remember.......
--
Name a popular ship you don’t get the appeal of. BBRae. Ever. At all. Never have. Probably never will. (People have... nice thoughts about them. In theory. But when things related to what they've thought happen in canon, it's.... either detrimentally badly done (re: comics), or it ENDS badly in the show. I just sense absolutely no romance about them.
What is your most fluffy + happy ship? .....SecretShipping... although I get a very intense case of the softer, quieter cousin to Warm+Fuzzies from my canonical OTP, JeriRae. Even when things are terrible and painful and destroying me (and then), their relationship is just... so powerful. (I always think about that scene where Something is Very Wrong with Raven, pre-Tarror-of-Trigon. and Joey knocks on her door. she tells him to go away-- then, realizes it's him.. and still tells him, not to come to her. Not to disturb her. And she ends up collapsing against the door, and you don't see it but it is HEAVILY implied that she's crying, and Joey's sitting on the other side, despite everything. And I just....................azar, it takes my breath away.
What is your most angsty ship? ...Well... See the above answer. JeriRae is angsty because of circumstance, more than the people themselves. In Arella's words (after Joe dies, I believe?), she said Raven could never have LET herself love him, "not then" (before Terror of Trigon). And that... my friends, is something you like to call "angst" and I like to call "too painfully fucking relateable". So the depth of personal rapport in the angst: That one. Buuut, there was this book series I liked for, well, the first three anyways, and a show made from it called Legend of the Seeker. The show made the ship far more palatable to me, Richard and Kahlan. (The books got waaay too sexual and FAR too repetitive with it after the fourth book. Just, ew.) But the show was always... encouraging. I liked their relationship and its endurance and complexities, a lot.
A non-canon ship that should be canon? ...I feel really weird about the thing that happened between Raven and Dick in the comics? Like... I'm not saying Dick SHOULD have loved her back. But there was set of issues where Raven was "in love with" Dick. And here's the thing: Kory steps in. Not in a "Get away from my man" sort of moment, but more like... "I don't think you love him romantically". And what bothers me about this is that... How would Starfire know? Starfire isn't in Raven's head. Yes, she's far more familiar with emotions than the girl whose only education on it was Never Ever Have Them. But... perspective, Kory. What if Ravne DID love him romantically? She KISSED him, for godsake. (Also, Wally and Raven. For the first few, dozen or so issues, anyways. We don't talk about Wally and Raven.)
Your oldest ship; the one you’ve shipped for the longest time? ......honestly, on a REAL level, it had to have been secretshipping. I didn't do the whole "shipper" internally, mindset... fandgasming... thing..... for RobStar, although I've always liked them as a couple. SecretShipping was the first one that introduced me to Feeling Feels for Their Relationship. (Of course, they're my own, so I'm not so sure if it counts. ;P But it was there.)
What ship represents the kind of relationship you’d love to have? JeriRae. Absolutely. And, well, secretshipping-- and lapidot, SORT of? (but the whole "healing from a terrible abusive situation" thing can be left at the door... problem is, that's like of like 95 of Lapis's angle in the 'ship. not to say I haven’t.... been where lapis is. it just hasn't been so... cut and dry for me...........)
Is there a ship that makes your skin crawl? bbraaaae. (Most of the time. Recently I've found... let's see, TWO authors that don't make it... completely and totally OOC and abhorrent to me. There were a couple of fanfictions I enjoyed because it was as subtle and just SLIGHTLY more successful than their interactions in canon, so it wasn't horribly misshapen. But even in the canonical comics, it was just... SO sloppily done. Clumsy and forced. My friend Teri over there is RPing the ship with depth and sincerity and development, not suddenly going "!! SHE KISS". Out of nowhere. Like.... ....???? johns, why. (well besides the fact that your favorite was beast boy and your wife's favorite was raven and you thought it'd be cute to shove them together because of your own relationship.)
What is a character you can only imagine in one particular ship? ...........this is........ hard. I'm not sure I have one. Cyborg, maybe? With Sara?
What is your favourite canon ship? JeriRae is absolutely my canonical OTP, and it always has been, and I think it will be very hard for anything to usurp it as my Genuine Sincerest Favorite Ship.
Name a ship that deserved more content. JERICHO. AND. RAVEN. HOLYGOD ^ Now, ^^^this^^^ reaction is mainly @ the fandom? But canonically.... Marv Wolfman once said that his singular regret in his entire history of writing comic books was killing off Joey Wilson. (and no small wonder because he didn't deserve it and it didn't add to the story where like seven other people died anyways, and it wasn't fair, it wasn't what he deserved, it wasn't... what anyone wanted to see.) Point is, their relationship never, really... had a CHANCE to go anywhere. It was well established, I think-- as well as you can canonically, blatantly establish someone who doesn't talk about her feelings and someone else who can't speak his. But it was there. It was in interviews. And it was... absolutely gorgeous, in its subtlety, gentleness, and development. But.... ahhhh, it was forcedly over far, far too soon.... damn you, 90's gimmicks.
Is there a ship you feel gets undeserved hate in fandom? ......RobRae? Like... I get that people don’t' have to agree with things. But, like: some of the things people SAY. (And the hypocrisy; so many of their arguments are ironically exactly what could be turned right about to THEIR ships!) Oh, and also Lapidot.
What is the first ship you had? ...see answer, re: Oldest Ship.
Is there a ship that made you realise something about yourself? .....oh. Not... that I can remember.... (Characters, moments........ that fucking thing with Malchior; I just-- okay. Well. A lot of the things he said really RESONATED with me, and I still recant some of them like mantras, because they're things I genuinely NEEDED to hear, in all my struggles and isolation. Things that made me think, for once: Isn't it OKAY to be a little darker? Is it, then, not WRONG to be misunderstood? look, people, I relate to raven on levels no human being should ever be allowed to relate to a fictional half-demon. But what he said CHANGED my outlook, and that was something I needed. Problem is: If you ship Raven and Malchior after everything he did to her, there will be no mercy in my verbal assault of your understanding of love and betrayal.)
Is there a type of ship you always go for? ...Emotional rapport, above all else. I'm demi-gray sexual and romantic; I can't even feel any sort of romantic attraction between others, or see any evidence of it existing, without emotional closeness. The ships that mean the most to me, are often the ships with someone I relate to most, and their partner being someone that treats them well. Raven and Jericho, someone who's quiet and reticent and someone who's expressive and forcedly silent but able to say so much in action. Both so strong, so vulnerable. It's a beautiful dynamic. And never once is the whole "oh, your father's evil too? Hey I know that feel" thing played as a REASON for them to have built this relationship. And then we have Lapidot, where the shift in dynamics may have been a bit meddled in by Steven, but even so, we see Lapis is healing from this deep trauma, and Peridot is protecting her in such little, subtle ways. They're working together to create something they both want.
Is there a ship the writers have ruined for you? If it can mean a ship I already so strongly opposed but they ONLY made it WORSE, then yes, BBRae. All the way.
Is there a ship the fandom has ruined for you? Well, I don't go into the Lapidot tags.... and it's safe to say I'm minorly disappointed in the lack of JeriRae art and stories and such.
Have you ever created fan created content for a ship? SecretShipping. I mean, I write the damn things. /X3 But also pictures, moments, playlists... you know. I'M a legit fan of my babies, too... 8P
Favourite thing you’ve ever created for a ship? Does Leyla count? ;D (she's their daughter.)
Is there a ship you’ll never admit you have? ....If I did have such a ship, it wouldn't be written on this post.
Have you ever started shipping a ship because of the fans? Lapidot was introduced to me through fanfics, and I realized: ohyes if they are both stuck on Earth, how interesting would it be to see them interacting?
What is one scene you want to see happen for all your ships? ...Okay, okay, okay okay okay. I don’t do the whole "day-dreaming fluffly romantic" thing. But I have...
Secrestipping: I have already seen it. (Dove allowing her self to be HONEST towards her conflict with him, and instead of running away from it, accepting it, allowing herself to love him, and taking a stand against everything she doesn’t want, and what he needs to know. Letting him IN!
For JeriRae? I cannot tell you how much I cherish those little moments. I don't know what I would have WANTED to happen with them..... but wouldn't it be cool to have seen Arella and Joey interact?
Lapidot: I don't even know I just want to know how they're doing with the whole "No More Homeworld for Us" thing.
I there a ship you wish you didn’t know existed? bb....r.ae..... and, uhh. lapis and jasper. how the FUCK do you ship an ABUSIVE relationship like that with GLEE? (I'm not talking, "explore the dynamics of an abusive relationship in the way that psychologically-inclined authors do", I'm talking, "actually think that work wELL together".)
And THEN there's Terra and Raven. Just. Don't even. Fucking. It's blacklisted, get it out of my face, don't so much as MENTION it near me, I don't understand how ANYONE Can ship them and MEAN it; it's fucking PAINFUL. You SAW how they spat acid at each other and just fucking... ? ?? ????? HOW IS THAT ROMANTIC IN THE *SLIGHTEST*. (Terra and Raven is a much more deeply-set viscerally-responsive NoTP to me than BBRae ever was. THAT, my friends, canonically anyways? THAT is entirely abusive.)
Name a ship that ended like you wanted it to. SecretShipping... and, I had no idea I needed it until I saw it happening, Leyla and Toby in their QPR-- queer PLATONIC relationship! What a weird situation that was; I had no idea if they were romantic or what, but it was obviously something deep and special. but I just. Found out about QPRs and suddenly-- OH. That's what Leyla and Toby are!!!
Name a ship that deserved better in the end. JeriRae.
Is there a character you have several ships for? ...nnnot that I'm aware of? I like multiple ships with Lapis honestly, but only just slightly, and in the "that's an interesting dynamic but I don't see them working out romantically" sort of way.
What is the ship you ignore 98% of canon for? ...b...b.....ra...e..... (The comic canon. I don’t have to ignore much honestly; it was in, like, seven issues, total, in the entire history of their team. but canonically as a ship? Gods I'm happiest when it forget that ever happened)
Is there a ship you like but you dislike the fandom? The fandom as in the franchise it's from, or The Fandom, as in the people shipping it? Or the fandom OF the franchise? Because Lapidot and Steven Universe is borderline for me. (I prefer my quiet, maybe-involving-friends shipping to the mob mentality this fandom seems to love.)
